Like, if you're throwing a pitch, a single, a double, a triple A, like, you're just more so working, getting the feel of the crowd and everything else. Right. It's not. Your. Your. Your resume is not online. I mean, Taylor throwing that first pitch, he wants a redemption shot in a stadium. I think no matter what, the final boss has to be in St. Louis, in Bush Stadium. No matter. No matter where he does his pitch and say he throws a strike at some other. At some other MLB stadium. I think no matter what, his final boss has to be at St. Louis, in St. Louis.

It's 7:00am And I'm just Like, damn or something like that. It's like, it's like you say something. If that's on the street, it's a knockout. If it's in a tweet, that's a cop out. And are you. Are you okay? Anyway, it would have been a great. That. That's like my next. Anytime I see one where somebody trolls the boys, that's gonna have to be the next one. It's just using Taylor Swift lyrics to. To combat that. But I will say, no matter. No matter what people say about Taylor Swift, people say everything. This, this. This girl's life is followed in and thumbed through like a microscope. The way she handled herself, she was obviously very gracious, very nice to us, super sweet to us. I go in for a handshake, she goes in for a hug. She's hugging everybody. No matter if it was me or Taylor, anybody on the squad, she was super nice to them. But just observing her with, like, the fans and showing up there whenever fans were able to kind of get to her, the amount of, like, that moment was the only moment that would exist. The way she's treating everybody, and I thought that was fucking cool because this is somebody who, you know, they have their flight tracker. Like, everything she does is not necessarily private. She has to work overtime to try and keep as much privacy in her life as possible. And I feel like she has a fan base that comments on absolutely everything she does. I mean, just from the experience we had with our photo, our little flex photo, and just seeing people, like, it's. They. They feel like they're detectives, like, putting it, like, oh, my gosh, they took a photo with Donald Trump and she's taking a photo with these guys, and why aren't they vetting everybody? And then you got her fans that are valid. What do you expect her to do? Do you expect them to go through everybody's background checks and do this and that? And it's. It is insane how rabid this fan base is and to operate the way she does. I. I legitimately think she's like, it's nothing but class.

Yeah, I know. Mitch's girlfriend, Brooke, she. Her and sitting were at the concert and she went into the bathroom and Taylor Swift was in there just like any other girl on a Friday night at the bar, taking selfies in the girls bathroom with like all the different tight ends, wives, and girlfriends. And it was just like a. Like a normal girls. Girls bathroom that you hear about in the songs.

But in real life, and it was just like, it seemed like A very wholesome, wholesome moment, which is cool.

Brooke walked into the bathroom, and she walked in, and it was Claire Kittle and Taylor just taking a selfie in the bathroom. I was like, you should have, like, hey, I'm big fans of both of you guys. You mind if I photobomb that thing? But I was probably, so.

It's probably just so. It's weird. I mean, you're, like, starstruck seeing Taylor Swift in person.

That's what I was saying, too.

Like, man, she looks super normal. Like, do I ask if I want to get in a photo? Like, Taylor Swift's out there photobombing pictures. It was nuts, man.

I was telling my roommates when we saw her, like, she has this, like, aura and glow to her. Like, the way I described it was like, you know, in Fortnite, how you go and find those chests and they have.

I love how we got a Fortnite analogy.

And they're, like, glowing a little bit. Like, that is. That was her. And it was like, I. I had never experienced that before. And especially, it's like, I thought it was kind of weird because I thought I would feel that way about a football player, but, like, she having that aura, and, like, everybody was like, everybody would stop and just stare at her whenever she walked by. It was super cool, and she was super nice to everybody.

It's like, I mean, when it leaked that she was gonna. That she was gonna be at that concert, it's like, ticket prices were 20 or $30 for general admission. They weren't even sold out yet. And then they're going for over $900 just from the leak.

Yeah.

And everybody, any media group or anybody that was there, any brand that was there had to get vetted, and there had to be clearance. And there you had to go through a process to, hey, if you take a photo, like, you know, you can't post anything until it gets cleared. So the. The height of the moment, then Taylor Swift and Travis walk in. Travel's like, hey, you got to meet the boys. And she was just. She was awesome, man. She was cool.

The fact that she played that song, I think, tells you everything you need to know about her. She could demand $5 million for that type of performance to play one song. I think she could get 5 million. And she went out there for free for all these people, just because it was all, like, a part of the vibe of the night, and she wanted to be a part of it. And I think that's super cool when a star of that level, go out there and do a show for free, knowing that everybody does want to see her. And it was one song, but she made it around, you know, six to seven minutes and gave everybody the full experience.

Which is something she did not have to do.

Just immersing herself in Travis's world, like, it seems like she's one of the homies. It's like you're sitting there having FOMO knowing you're not going to go out there, like, hey, you want to go the after party? Jason Aldean, stuff like that. And you see George's video, them, like, singing one of her songs. And yeah, dude, it's. It's fucking cool. Even the next day, when I was in. In Boston for Dozen Trivia, and there. There was like, women, they're wanting to get photos, and all they're wanting to do is, like, ask about Taylor Swift. And they're like, did you hug her? Did you shake her hand? Which. Which hand did you shake with? Can I shake your hand? And they're just. It's crazy, dude. It is nuts, the fan base that she has. Yeah. Speaking of the booze, ponies, Dozen Trivia, that atmosphere in Boston was incredible. You're going into a hostile. We're thinking we're going to be in a hostile environment because it's Boston, it's Minna fan territory. We're playing Team Kirk Minihan in the semifinals, the final four, to get to the championship. And we think the crowd's gonna be, you know, maybe a little against us, maybe not. We know that we're kind of a fan favorite, but, bro, when they're out there cheering hard as shit for Kirk Minahan, and then we have a crowd just chanting, ponies, ponies, bro. When we went in overtime, I. I wish you guys could have been there. I wish you guys could have been there. You can only see the videos. The videos don't do it justice. It was fucking electric. So much so. It was such an emotional win, getting to the champions. Then I'm walking in the back, the backstage, in the little tunnel area, like, just exhausted, feeling like I just played a football game. That's how incredible this moment was.

It's like Israel Adesanya's speech after he finally beats Pereira. He's like, I wish that everybody could experience this moment one time in their life. But to do that, you got to.

But the way Ilya called his shot with, with Ariel, I was saying, I'm gonna, I'm gonna sleep him in the first round. Like, this dude is a savage bro. And I'm, I hope he, I hope he accomplishes everything he wants because it's just having a guy who like runs through the ufc, talks a little bit of shit. He's wearing the suit, he's doing all things. He's calling, he's saying when he's going to knock guys out. Like, this is the ascension you want to see out of a UFC fighter. And I don't know a whole lot about him. Like, again, just before I started talking about him, I was kind of botching his last name. I botched his name last week on the episode before UFC317. But I'm coming out of my chair when he slept. Oliveira. Big fan of Oliveira, but just understanding Ilya a little bit, seeing how he jumped up in weight classes, is his power going to transfer at a heavier weight class? Yeah, that was the first meal. We literally touched down, got there, went to the Thai spot. How good is so good, dude? All the restaurants in there, like, amazing. It felt like. I said, like, if. It felt like we were like going all over Vegas and then when we actually left the first time, I was like, well, I haven't seen the sun in a while. We've just been inside.

How. How was Your experience at 3:17? The fight. The fight.

Great. So that place was good.

Unreal. Like, it was like, this is the thing that everybody says, I think, when they go to a UFC fight, but it's like true. Like, the sounds of the fighters fighting, and you realize pretty quick you're Like, I've. If you've never been to a UFC fight, you're like, I've never seen two, like, dudes, like, the top of their profession fight, like, for their lives. Like, you know what I mean? Like, yeah, it's like you quickly realize, like, maybe I've seen a scrap in school or a bar, but I've never truly seen, like, two elite athletes just beating each other's ass. Like, it's such a buffer. Yes. It's like. And the sounds of them, like, when there's a kick or something, it's like, yeah. You think you've heard it on tv, but, like, when you hear it, which everyone says this, but it's just so unreal. It's so dead silent in there.

Yeah.

Until something happens. Then it's just, like, crazy. But it was unreal in the seats. Those seats were unreal.

I mean, we were, like, almost this distance away from me to you.

Maybe, like, the front of the bus.

But it was just big missed opportunity on camera. Big missed opportunity for the world to see Demon, Jared Demon on camera.

When they came up to, like, they came up to Taylor, like, a fight before that, and they're like, hey, we're gonna. We're gonna come to you after this next fight. And I'm like, dumb as hell. I'm like, hey, Taylor, what does that mean? Like, they're coming to you? And he's like, they're gonna do a little shot of me. I was like, okay. So then I'm in my head for the next 45 minutes. Like, do I do something? Like, what, Change? Yeah, what do I do? If I do something and all stuff, then, like, they start setting up in front of you for, like, 10 minutes. So it's so awkward where you're just like, all right, like, at any point, I could be on camera. And then I ultimately just decided. I was like, maybe I'll just kind of act like I didn't know that they're there. Kind of like, oh, it's on the big screen.

As if right when the TV cuts to him, Jared's, like, staring right at the camera. Then you can see him look over the big screen to see if it's. It's them on. Then he says, that's them on. And he kind of gets his little. His light skinned eyes going.

I just tried to act like I was like, oh, I did. I didn't know this is about to happen. As if there's not, like, a dude and, like, five dudes holding the cords behind him. And they're like, three, two, one. Taylor, you're on. I was. I'm still looking at it. Yeah, I. I should.

I was ready for you to perform, dude. I was sitting there on the couch up in the bonus room. Just, come on, Demon, do something.

I told you, like, I. In my head, which. This is not a good excuse. I thought I was like, imagine I try to do something, and the dude just kind of zooms in tighter on Taylor. And you just see whatever I'm doing just slowly get cut out. Because I was just thinking about your. Your picture. Yeah, Taylor. I mean, for mine. Taylor legit. Because they can be a little weird about it. And Taylor just pulled me in. Yeah, I was just ready with me. And Taylor didn't say a word about it. Like, once he said. He was the most, like, appreciative person to be in this building. Like, he just keeps being like, man, our lives are amazing. Me and Taylor would go in there, like, between every fight, just, like, get a water and, like, we're talking with somebody. I forgot who it was. It was these two college football players. Like, oh, yeah, I'll throw something on here. And that was the biggest win of the vlog was that one when we were gonna go watch a movie and we stayed down there for only like 15 minutes. But then we were on such a high. I think we like went to the pool or something. Like, we were just like, that was crazy. But yeah, we did not get A movie in, but we wanted to watch Pearl harbor so bad all weekend. Yeah, we'll hit a movie sometime.

Been here a cup of coffee, biggest person, celebrity that we've come across and on a working trip is going out of his way to talk this celebrity's ear off and then ask her for a photo and putting it on Snapchat. So in the most organic way possible, I go, did you go to Hendersonville High School? She's a nat.

She lived in Nashville. She goes, oh, yeah, I did. So we start chopping it up.

And it was very normal.

I hands, you know, right here, and she goes, should I put my arm on your shoulder?

And I was like, oh, my God.

So I was like, yes, I love that. And we take the iconic photo. And I. And I didn't want to post. I didn't post on Instagram, and I'm, you know, I have no following. So I was like, I'll throw it on the story. Just see what happens. Did I caption it, hey, babe? Yeah, I did. I did. I got a lot of texts. It was awesome. But the boys gave me a lot of heat. I should have kept it professional. I was in the big spotlight for. For future reference. I won't do that anymore. But it was a super cool moment, for sure. Shout out, Clump. Shout, everybody. But I think she wanted an organic conversation from a Nashville local. And we chopped it up for, like, 10 minutes. And now when I walked in, I said 15, 20.

But, I mean, interior, outside rush, they. They got after us. And I mean, if you control the line of scrimmage and super bowl, it's going to get us for you.

You definitely feel like there's more of. Like you just feel more. A little more intense about you sitting on this bus compared. Comparing it to last year. Last year, I mean, vibes were high. You're obviously gonna have a help. Has had a hell of a career, but, like, going through that loss. What changes have you made in the off season?

[Taylor Lewan]

I think the biggest thing is you just. You kind of refocus on. On where your. Where your attention is in the off season. I think last year, really, the past, like, three years, I've had a lot of attention in getting. Taking a step away from football to figure out, you know, what I'm doing afterwards and make sure I set that up, and I'm setting myself up for the future. I've kind of always had that mentality in the off season, but I took on bigger projects this year. I kind of put all that to the side, and I'm like, man, I'm going into my last year of my contract, 13th year. I want to make this dream that I've always had the best it's ever. It's ever been. And I think I. I failed last year in a lot of different ways for my guys on the. On the field in terms of being a leader and just being, you know, prepared and ready to rock. And I'm motivated to be. Be accountable for the guys, man, pouring.

[Will Compton]

Pouring all that into this season, like, setting all the other stuff aside, just focusing on. On football, is there a little bit of mortality coming with this being your last year in Kansas City? Do you feel like this could be the last year for Travis Kelsey?

[Taylor Lewan]

I mean, it's the last one on the contract. I'm. I'm focused on this one, man. I don't know what. What next year is going to feel like. I don't know what I'm going to feel like in March and in April next year when I. When I make that decision or I try and figure out what's next for me, but I know that. That I got one on the contract, and I got, you know, a hell of a team, and we got a lot of talent, and I'm pumped for it.

You talked about, I mean, There was a bunch of rumors swirling around about this could be the last year. This past year.

Yeah.

How close were you to hanging it up with a Super bowl have changed that for you?

It might have made me think about it a little bit more. I think I just had a sour taste in my mouth immediately, and like, man, I can't. I can't. This can't be the last game. You know, I just. I still feel like I can do it. And I kind of wanted to give myself that. That full focus when I. When I kind of looked at the year and review and how I got ready for the year and things like that. And it's not to say that I was doing it wrong. It's just when you get older, you start to figure the. Figure things out differently. Like, your body doesn't react to how you used to do things. You know, I mean, you have to focus a little bit more on the preparation and. And being there and being ready. And then throughout the week, you got to have more of a plan to get back to 100. And I think thinking about all those things, it was like, I. I don't want to leave anything out there. I want to give it my all and make sure that I. I do this, you know, for the. For the. For the childhood dream in me, you know, I mean, the kid in me that's like, man, I want to make this the best thing ever, man.

[Will Compton]

You're obviously super close with the chief's organization. Is there, like, an open line of communication about what the future could look like for you?

[Taylor Lewan]

If they ever ask me, I'll always tell them, you know, how I feel. I'm. Coach Reed is like a. He's like a second father to me. You know what I mean? I've been with him for 13 years, and he's helped me both on the field and off the field, become a better person, be a better man and more accountable. And on top of that, you know, Pat's my family now, you know, so through that just family atmosphere in the Chiefs, I don't see myself playing anywhere else, but I do. I do. I trust them with everything. And, you know, I understand that they got to make sure that they unders. That they set themselves up for the future as well. Knowing guys got to get paid and. And, you know, positions got to get filled.

[Will Compton]

So, yeah, that is what I was going to ask, like, could you. And could you imagine yourself in a.

[Taylor Lewan]

Different uniform at this point now? Maybe if you would ask me that, maybe like a contract or two ago, I'd have been like, you know, I'd keep it open, but a contract or two ago.

Yeah. With. You were talking about earlier about from a Leadership standpoint, maybe not being as accountable as you want to your teammates. At what point in the season or after the season did you realize. Did you realize that you probably weren't being the best leader you could be?

[Taylor Lewan]

I mean, just reflecting. I don't think I was the best leader during the super bowl itself in terms of making plays, being able to, you know, find a way, no matter what they're. What defense they're playing. I've always put the accountability on myself to, you know, get open no matter what. And don't get me wrong, there were. They were doing things that. That minimized everything that I could, like, kind of manipulate. But at the same time, I still feel like I had a drop early. I had two or three routes where I didn't get separation when I needed to, and certain. Certain moments where I could have sped it up, knowing that Pat was under duress for a lot of. A lot of part. A lot of points in the game. So, I don't know, man. Just. Just being that and then just keeping the. The energy and the belief alive. I don't know if I necessarily did that as well as I could have. And I think just leading up to it, making sure I got everybody's, you know, mentality ready going into the game, I just put a lot of accountability on myself to be able to, you know, be that for the guys.

How difficult is it for you to not, like, show frustration when you have a drop early? They're doing different things in coverages, so you can't manipulate them as much. Like, when you're progressing through the game, you've been in it for so long. I've never played in a Super bowl, but when it's the. Like, it's for all the marbles.

[Taylor Lewan]

Yeah.

[Mitch]

How do you. You, from a mental standpoint, able to, like, combat the. Okay, I had a drop. These things are not going the right way. Like, how do you take away the frustration?

[Taylor Lewan]

Yeah, I mean, you gotta have that, like, I don't know, almost like that. You. You either gotta react in terms of, like, high aggression, high energy, high frustration, or. Which can make you uncharacteristic and make you maybe, I don't know, do something stupid after a whistle, something like that. That's what I've done in the past. Or you can try and be calm, cool, collected, show confidence, show leadership, show, like, positive, like, reinforcement, like, around everybody, around everyone on the team. And it's just every situation is different as I'm getting older. I can't necessarily do a lot of the things that I've been able to do when I was a younger player. So it's. It's creating even more frustration for me in certain times. But at the same time, I could still be that voice of reason for a lot of these young guys that are in a unfamiliar territory.

Is it a scary thought? A little bit. When you're getting older and some of the things you look back at some film, you're like, man, I used to be able to do that, but I.

[Taylor Lewan]

Used to be able to throw a goddamn baseball.

So what happened with my knee? That was fun.

Yeah, my rookie year, I had just, like, some discomfort. I kept doing the MRIs. I took, like, 10 MRIs. Everybody in the building was calling the MRI machine the Kelsey. Like, oh, you're going to get a Kelsey. All right. Nice.

[Taylor Lewan]

I'm a rookie.

[Mitch]

A little bit of discomfort.

[Taylor Lewan]

It's. Something's up. So I went to. I went to the guys. I'm just like, just go in there and scope it. They're like, all right, we'll see what happens with. Go in there. I had, like, microfracture surgery. You guys know what microfracture is?

[Mitch]

I know it's a big deal.

[Taylor Lewan]

It's. It's ended some careers.

[Mitch]

Not yours.

[Taylor Lewan]

They. They drill holes in your, like, cartilage bones to, like, get blood to see through to create and rebuild cartilage. Couldn't run for, like, six, seven months. And then it was on, like, a pitch count for half the season.

[Will Compton]

Oh, and this. This is Your rookie year?

[Taylor Lewan]

Yeah.

[Will Compton]

Going into your second.

[Taylor Lewan]

Going into my say, I didn't play. I played one snap my rookie year, and it was a blocked field goal. I was on the field goal team, and I only went in because somebody got hurt. And I would just happen to be dressing that day. How long did you think I went in there? Supposed to be the left tight end on field goal. And I'm like, my knee. I tapped the right tight end because we were on the right hash. So the rush was definitely coming from the field. So I'm like, hey, you're trying to take that left side for me. My knee. And he just being a good teammate was like, yeah, dude, I got you. I went over to. To the right side, heard that. I'm just, like, turned around, balls on the ground. I'm like, get it. Hobbling around. I see guys jumping on. I'm kind of like, my knee.

[Will Compton]

Get out of there. You know, everybody's like, we wasted a.

[Taylor Lewan]

So the. Yeah.

Two weeks. Two weeks after that, I got it. I got scoped and got through in a brace for six months.

So you go through your rookie year, play one snap, second year, you're on a pitch count. Are you thinking at any point maybe I'm just not Bill Fisk?

Are you kidding me? The entire rehab, I'm just like, God damn it. I'm never gonna see this happen.

It was on, like, the orchestra, the jazz, the. He did every. Yeah, dude. He used to get, like, 30 tackles a game and at halftime, be in the marching band. He was. But he was, like, the most feared guy in. In the school.

No, he. We haven't really talked about it like that now. I don't know. I think he's. He's thriving in. In the decision that he made, obviously, there was probably something that we haven't talked about. It was probably something there that the Eagles went back to the super bowl and they won it. Yeah, there's. There's got to be any. Any ball player that made that decision would have. That, I feel like. But at the same time, he's around his four girls enjoying life and being around the fam and doing a bunch of crazy during the football season, and, I don't know. He's just enjoying it. I don't see it. I don't see him, like, regretting any decisions.

That's awesome, because once you walk away, man, it's tough. Like, you see a lot of guys that leave and you're like this. Have an identity crisis.

[Taylor Lewan]

Yeah.

For the longest time because you used to be the man. And then a lot of guys just go back to doing nothing.

[Taylor Lewan]

I've. I mean, we've all seen a lot of college guys that we played with go down that road. A lot of guys that we played with in the league do that. And that's why I kind of always wanted to make sure I set myself up for something, you know, to at least immediately get into and then always have that connection back to the game. Some. I don't know, some guys just kind of step away and they never come back around the, the buildings or they never, you know, create those, those relationships with people that, you know will keep, will help keep them around the game, around everything like that.

When you're trying, when you're trying out all those new things, figuring, okay, what could I do next? What was the biggest thing that got you out of your comfort zone? Whether it be like snl, the acting.

[Taylor Lewan]

The serious acting.

[Mitch]

The serious acting, yeah. What level of discomfort was that? Like, were you like halfway through it, being like, I know this is not for me?

[Taylor Lewan]

Well, no, not necessarily that it wasn't for me. I mean, I was, I was a part of a really good cast. I think I got a lot of help and a lot of pointers from them. So they helped me make at least make me feel comfortable in the moment. But at the same time, just like preparation wise, like I'm so prepared for an NFL game. Like in my career, I get an entire week to figure out a scheme, how I'm going to attack somebody, how I'm going to like handle certain specific situations. And when you go into acting, it's.

How often are you practicing your lines by yourself in front of a mirror?

Not necessarily in front of a mirror, which kind of adds to the professionalism. Get to see facial features, see how your body's reacting. I was big on, like, a scene would happen. And if the directors were, like, watching the scene over to see if they like it or not or see what we could do different, I would, like, hurry up and go over there to watch some film real quick. But I don't know, it's. It's still like. I don't know, it's still early in, like, just not. I don't know. I don't feel like I grasped the. The acting world yet.

Yeah.

Just seeing him videotaping himself just by himself. And I'm sure you like the features and like. Okay, I can kind of move a little differently here.

[Taylor Lewan]

I'm sure you definitely feel like a jamoke doing some of it. For sure. Like, you feel out of place.

Yeah, I'm sure some of the actors are sitting there being like, we've worked our whole lives, gone to theater school, done all this, and this guy scores a couple of touchdowns, gets to show up and be a part of it.

I don't want to, like, I want to take advantage of this, but like, I don't want to. I want to have fun doing it, but I don't want to look like a loser doing this. Like, I want to make them respect like my approach and how I'm like taking it serious and. But it was just a fun roller coaster, man. You're there all week, up till 2, 3 in the morning every day, just trying to like knock stuff out, do some of the. The pre recorded stuff and yeah, that was insane. That was a crazy ride.

I'm gonna steal one. Last week, JP Was going on a bachelor party. Wasn't excited about going on that bachelor party yesterday. I decided to call J.P. but, hey, was it worth it? Quickly says, yes. Drives. However many hours. You did drive for eight hours.

It took eight hours to get back because traffic.

Right? So let's say six hours there, eight hours back, just to spend one day with his boy, who he's known for a long time. And the one thing that resonate. Resonated with me in that conversation was the gratitude text from your boy saying, hey, I appreciate you making the time. Thank you for coming out. I know we don't get to hang out as much. And I feel like anytime you see one of your friends or you do something, you go the extra mile from one of your old friends that you haven't seen in a long time and you get that text, you realize you're on the right path in life. I'm back and forth between violent shits in our fire department. Together. No, these two separate shout outs. I'm gonna shout out our. Our fire department. Okay. The ambulance crew. I haven't told you this story. I told it last night on for the Dads, But Rue was choking on a coin. Rue was choking on a coin. Was. I was sitting at the kitchen island. She was having lunch. We're talking routine lunch. Charl was playing with Scotty on the couch, and Rue wanted Charo to do this magic trick that Charlo always does for. And Charles, like, I can do it for you later, sweetheart. I'm playing with Scotty right now. But whenever you get done, we can do the magic trick over here. And I'm pumping out an email, so I'm not watching Rue. But apparently there was a coin, A euro. A coin sitting on the kitchen island. Rue grabs the coin, and this magic trick is like, whether Char puts in the back of her ear behind her head or comes out. But it seems like it comes out the of her mouth, or she puts it in her mouth and it comes out somewhere else. So Rue has the coin, and she's essentially trying to mimic this magic trick. So she puts the coin in her mouth, and she starts choking to where I'm sitting there on my iPad, and I hear gag herself. And I hear make the gag noise. And I kind of look over at her. She's got her fingers in her mouth, and she gags herself again. And I just. I just look at her. I'm like, what are you doing? They're thinking, like, you know, she might have found something new that she was, like, doing. I have no clue. And I hear Charles say, like, are you choking? I was like, is she choking? She's like, she's choking. She's choking. There's a coin in her mouth. And I stand up, and I'm like, what in the is going on? I, like, get behind her, and I start trying to give her the Heimlich. And Charles, like, are you doing it right? And I was like, I think I'm doing it right. And I'm, like, hopping up and down with her, like, right below the sternum, trying to get it up. And Charles just jumps in. Watch out. And she's like, trying to grip it out of. Trying to, like, reach down her throat and get the coin out. She's like, I feel it, I feel it, I feel it. And she's like, I lost it, I lost it.

And.

And I'm like, I go, what do we do? She's like, call 91 1. I'm gonna continue. I'm gonna keep trying to scrape it out. So I called 91 1. I'm in an absolute panic. She's trying to get the coin out of roof. She's starting to bleed. There's, like, blood on my shirt because she, like, scratches her in the throat. And I'm on the phone. The call lasts about three minutes and about the two minute mark when they're like, we have somebody on their way. Charles. Like, I. I got the coin again. I got the coin. She rips the coin out of her throat. And Rue ended up being fine. But the emt, like, the fire department, everybody, like, know, comes over to the house and they just check her for vitals. She turned up fine. But absolute terrifying moment. Insane.

How fast were they there?

Within, I want to say, like, three minutes from that call.

Oh, no.

[Will Compton]

There was like, somebody comment, like when the call was happening. She's like, there's somebody coming right now. Because I was like, hey, she got the coin out. She seems to be doing okay. I asked her a couple questions, like, while I'm on the phone, and she's like, well, everybody, they're on their way already, so they're going to come and just like, check her vitals and stuff. Stuff. So shout out the fire department, the emt, the EMT crew, because they're like, giving us, you know, they're like breaking down, like, some of the situations that could have happened. Because I'm thinking in my mind in that moment, if she goes unconscious, like, she could die. That's not like she was like, no, even if she goes unconscious, you start doing the compressions and just trying to get, like, oxygen to her brain. We would have still got it out had we arrived. Because a coin, the good thing about a coin is it's not like it doesn't break down like food does in your throat to where it can, like, fully close a. To fully close it up. But it's like, you know, they're kind of briefing us on everything that happened, but it was terrifying.

Roo, hey, we're not gonna put a coin in our mouth anymore, are We. And she said, yeah, yeah.

I, like, you know, Charles was in a panic and stuff afterwards, and I was like, maybe we don't teach Scotty that magic trick. Yeah, but you don't think it ended up. It ended up all solid, but it was, like, in that moment. It was hell, buddy. It was scary. Especially when Charles like, I got it. And she's like, I lost it. Went down further. I'm just like, oh, my God.

And Charles just jumps into, like, superhero mode. Like, you call 91 1. She's, like, scraping it out. For real, buddy.

Pull that thing out.

She's like, you know, knuckle deep. She has, like, bite marks, like, up here on her hand.

Dude, we got. So I don't know if we don't have this exact one, but there's something, like that goes over their nose and mouth, and you, like, press a button, and it pulls something out so it, like, will. Like.

That's what we're starting to talk about last night.

Yeah. It's not. It's not this, but it's like. It's like, more, like, harder plastic, and it kind of goes down, and it has something up there, and you press a button, and it shoots it down. It's like spring loaded where it shoots down, and so it can pull something out. Because I've had the thought a couple times with the kids eating something. Like, they'll just eat grapes. And I'm thinking to myself, those grapes are dangerous.

Yeah. Always slicing them in half.

[Mitch]

Yeah, always slicing them. But then they get older, and you're like, all right, I guess you can have a regular ass grape. And I just get nervous. Get nervous about that.

Choking in pools, man. I get nervous about my kids being in. That's not it either, but, yeah, pools.

So you start like clamping your ass cheeks and your ass muscle so it breaks it down a little bit so you can have a little bit more life to push. And then you don't want to push too hard because again, you're not trying to get a hemorrhoid. I've had those. Those are hell. So just a little at a time, you squeeze, you push a little harder.

The way I would explain what is going on. Push a little harder is almost like when they tell you leave two reps in the bank when you're doing a max out set. So you don't want to go to a full bore where your rpms are all the way up. You want to go just enough. Break it down a little bit more and get it out. And I. Sometimes I enjoy a nice fight in the toilet. The wind feels good. Yeah. Yeah. That was it between those two.
