I've been a part of another tie in 2018 with the pack, and we tied to the Vikings. And it feels like a loss when you're supposed to come out on top, especially when this was supposed to be, you know, Micah's revenge game. Who? And you know, the packers, they look great on those first two series. But after that, blocked PAT two points. Dallas just got it rolling after that.

[Delanie Walker]

You know, Jerry Jones was happy.

[Clay Matthews]

I was just happy.

He had the Viagra roll in the fourth quarter.

He had a little sparks when he didn't play good against his team.

I played Miles Garrett his rookie year, and we ran like a shovel pass type of. Type of player. All I have to do is hinge block. I'm basically just blocking out. It's a very easy block. Someone messes up the play and Marcus keeps the ball. And so Miles just kept running and Marcus slid down. He just tapped him. He goes. Appreciate it. You feel good about that?

They gave up that turnover at the. Right before the first half and they gave up that touchdown. Obviously, the blocked pat. I think there was opportunities for them to win the game and they didn't capitalize it. But I don't know. I mean, right now I think it's. I think the packers are going to be fine. I just look at Detroit, I look at Detroit and I go, you can't give up these games. All right, you give up at 12 o' clock to Cleveland, who's got number one defense? Okay, we'll give you that. But Detroit did not to Cleveland. They looked terrific. They're getting their legs. And the packers now at. Are they even first in the division or would they be second now?

They'd be second.

I'm just saying it's going to be an arms race with Detroit and the packers and we. You packers cannot give up any where they play at.

And they crushed. I mean Dak. No one expect. I mean, yeah, Dak played.

And I'm telling you, if they can keep playing like that and we look at this trade as a whole after all the dust is settled, it looks good for Dallas moving forward is all I'm gonna say.

I mean, it looks good for Green Bay too though, now.

Yeah, but it's good for both teams. But I, obviously we're have to see how this plays out and you know, years from now with these draft picks. But like, I think, I think it's good for Green Bay because they play with a lead a lot of times and you got your closer and Micah coming in getting these sacks. But I think it's good for both teams. We'll see how it plays out. I think it's too soon to say, you know, who benefits from it more, but you know, it was, it was a fun game as a fan to watch. That's all I'll say.

But when will he become an every down defense?

[Guest Analyst]

I don't think he should. I don't think he should. I'd like to see $40 million. Yeah, that's crazy. You saw what, you saw what he did in week one, right? Yeah, he affected the game versus Detroit by coming in, you know, sparingly and creating chaos. I think like every great pass rush, there's, there's a few exceptions. You know, buddy, in Detroit, I'm blanking on his name, but he played every.

Now that's what I'm saying. Every down.

Your AFC west pick is looking decent. Chiefs, it's looking decent. If you look at two and two Raiders, they have a lot more issues. Quarterbacks turn the ball over quite a bit. You got the Chargers, who are sitting at the top of that division, but they're on their third and fourth tackles right now. The amount of pressures that they're giving.

This is where the fear comes in for me with the Commanders or with the Chargers is like the amount of pressures and the amount of hits you're giving up on Herbert is just. It's a lot, man. I think they're number one in the, in the league and pressure is giving up. They give up 50 in the last two games.

And Washington has a good. Washington has a good front seven.

They have a good front seven. The question for me is like, who's your quarterback? Is it Jaden Daniels? Is he coming back and playing? Because with Jaden Daniels are averaging 19.5 points per game with Marcus Mariota at the helm, 34 points per game. So what's your.

That might be skewed a little bit.

I'm gonna, I'm going with the Chargers too. I just look at how the Commanders played against who was it the Falcons last week. They made Pennix, who has not played incredibly well look amazing. 300 plus yards, however many touchdowns. Then you got Herbert if they can and obviously you hear Harbaugh after the game talk about we need to protect him a little bit more. They're going to scheme something in because that, that, that O line film was trash last week for them but obviously they didn't expect to lose all, you know as early as they did. So if they can protect him. But he, even though he's pressured 20 times, he only got sacked twice. So I'm saying he can still make. Herbert can still make plays around the pocket. But give me the Chargers back at home game planning some protection for him on a leaky commander's defense.

Yeah, when Herbert's pressured He's fight was 5 for 19. He's got 26.3% completion rating when he's pressured.

The Chargers offensive line is giving up the most pressures and the commanders are giving are putting up the third most pressures in the NFL. I think they're going to put them in a bit of a situation. When your tackles go down, so does your run game. Yeah lad McConkey dropping balls. I like the commanders with the points in this game. I'm taking the commanders at the points. I like them.

I'm sorry two and a half field goal game. I'm going Commanders too. I'm going. Commanders too. They run the ball well. I don't, you know, whether it's Jaden, whether it's Marcus, I think they're both going to. I think they'll both play well and they do have a run game and a lot of chunk plays that they did have last week against the Falcons. They're getting called back because of offensive penalties, so you got to fix discipline on that end. Then when you look at defensively, this is one of the better run defenses and they can get after the passer a little bit. But run defensively, they had 11 missed tackles. I think that's more of a product of Bijan Robinson being an absolute stud. I do think Hampton's a very good running back, but that's something that they'll be looking at. You can't have 11 missed tackles because a couple of them go for a touchdown. And I just think. I think the Chargers offensive line struggling. If you watch that, if you watch the right guard, I mean, Buddy's stiff when you get the TE's going on and everything else, he can't turn very well. It looks like my wife in her third trimester. I think they pick on him a little bit. I think they can get after him a little bit, especially rushing four. I like the commanders here. In a close game, I like him with two and a half. I know it's a field goal game. I think that's what it's going to come down to. But give me the commanders split on the road in la, that's the only thing that's lit.

And it's lit right now.

And I think, I mean, this game's so close. If Joe Alt doesn't have a high ankle spring or whatever he does have. I think I started leaning towards the Chargers.

From a personnel standpoint, they're not very competitive. They probably lack the most talent of any team in the NFL right now. They're 32 out of 32. Situationally not great. They've proven that four weeks in a row. Not a competitive game plan.

How do they turn it around? How do they turn. This is what I want to know. Everybody there blames ownership. Amy Adams, strong head coach Cam Ward. Where does the blame lie? And how do you turn it around? Rather than just, just, yeah, they suck. They scored zero points, gave up play, whatever it is. Like, how. How do they turn it around? Because this is probably the lowest in 27 years. Would you say however long?

Oh, yeah, they haven't been this bad since 2000.

We got better. Now when it comes to the coaches, it's like who are we hiring? Are we hiring buddies, good coaches or friends? That's going to be like a yes man. Believe whatever the head coach saying. Don't argue with them. What type of coaches do they have on the staff? Because at the end of the day a head coach depend on his coaching staff and when the coaching staff let you down, you take the blame because he gave up the offensive coordinating play calling sheet. But it didn't seem no different. I don't know. I don't know who the offensive coordinator is now. Jack. What's his name?

It was a quarterback coach calling plays, I think.

What's the offensive coordinator? Yeah, you know, like I said, I'm locked in with the tights and everything they doing. You know, I'm outside watching so I don't, I can't speak on what's happening in the facility. But if y' all look at some of them play calls from last week like a double reverse, you ain't even get the run game going. Then try to do a double pass and throw it back to Cam. But you still ain't got the running game going like it was. Just some of those play callings were questionable and I don't believe it's on the head coach. I believe it's on the coaching staff around him. Are you pushing your guys? Are you challenging them? Are you holding them accountable? What is really happening in the locker room?

He hasn't done that. And it's a results based league and NFL stands for not for long, just for the players. If you don't put results as a coach, you're also not going to be there for long. So I think it's bad. I don't think it's going to get a whole lot better. When you talk about the reverses and the double passes, to me, that's like a. We have nothing. We can't run the ball. We can't throw it down the field. Like, let's try to get a spark in a sneaky way. I mean, don't be surprised if they run an onside kick against the Cardinals, maybe to open the game type of thing.

Well, they can't even do that with your Cardinals.

Ridiculous. Yeah. Fake punt, something like. There's so much desperation taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, when it revolves around the Tennessee Titans that like, yeah, if I'm Amy, who I do blame for this is a person that, like, listen, if you are the owner of a team and you have a fan base, which my pulse of the fan base is Garrett and Jack and I see their moods and their attitudes and I just think to myself, if they're feeling this way, then I assume all the real Titans fans are also feeling the same way. If I'm Amy, when I inevitably do get rid of Callahan. I'm not putting some sort of like one sheeter lawyer. Hey, we appreciate everything Callahan has done for us, blah, blah. It's like essentially a video of her being like, I failed you guys, and the city of Tennessee deserves better. And I'll do a better job of sifting through the coaching cycle and figuring out the right person. But the fans of Tennessee deserve better than this. You do that, I think the fan base goes, oh, she actually does care. Because a lot of the feeling around Nashville is Amy doesn't give a shit about this team.

I'm gonna be honest with you. Name one fucking owner billionaire that goes out and apologize to the fans about a coach that they picked up.

She don't want to be in front of the tv. That ain't her thing. She like, I want to be in the back. Like, I want all the glory when it comes to me, but when the bad stuff happens, I don't want to be a part of it. And, you know, I understand she. You know, she's Buddy.

It. It ain't on her, man. I feel like she didn't make that. She didn't. She wasn't the one picked the coach. It was the GMs who picked the coach.

The next thing you need to focus on is the people that are essentially making you money every single year, and that's the fans. And if you're. If you're not taking the fans into account at all times, then you're going to lose this organization because the fans.

Are going to be the ones who shows up to that new stadium.

If you own the team, just like being a quarterback, when you win, it's on you. When you lose, it's on you. And if you're the owner of a team, if when you win, we should all be praising Amy and her ability to hire and get and establish an organization. And when they lose, that does inevitably fall on you. That's the reality. But like, we need to have. If we're. If we're just focusing on the Titans, like, you need to care about the fans, man.

I just. I sit back and think about when I was with the 49ers. That never happened. Like, with the owners. They never. When we were. Sorry, the owners. No one talked about firing the owners. Get rid of the owners.

The 49ers have been around since football was football. The Titans came in, what, 96.

You gotta remember, it was the Oilers before that.

Right. That was in Houston and they came to Nashville. So you have all these fans that are like, we don't have a whole lot. Oh, what are these Titans about? Okay, they're really good right now. Will like them. Like, you're not going to have a foundational generations of kids waiting, like, being born, being like, we're 49ers fans, we're this. No one's waking up being a Titans fan other than a small 5%.

Well, that's why in my mind, I feel like, you know, whatever people, Whatever people say about the owner, it doesn't matter to her because regardless, it's going to be fans. Regardless. If fans are going to buy in, into the Titans.

Every. Every year, Every year we're going to say, oh, we're going to go to this. We're going to go to the Super Bowl. We got these type of players. The fans come, hey, man, we look good until you start playing games. And then once you start playing games, that's when the fans start chirping, oh, we're not good. Fired. Amy needs to sell the team.

I know I've been critical of some of his throws and whatnot, but you gotta understand the demand that Sean Payton's putting on him in only a second year. I think they'd continue to ascend if it weren't for those, you know, the Indianapolis Game where I think there was a bad turnover. Field goal, it was a penalty. Then same with that. That amazing throw by Herbert under pressure. Like, like, I think they're a good team and I like the Broncos to, To win this game.

You go back and watch all. AJ Brown was targeted nine times in the Tampa Bay game. Watch where those throws go. A lot of them are like seven of nine of those uncatchable. I think there is a boiling point happening right now with the Eagles. We've talked about it. Saquon Barkley isn't having the numbers. The creativity in the run game isn't as good as it could be. They're not attacking the perimeter with pin pull techniques. They use very athletic tackles in the past. It seems like the Broncos defense, they're firing on all cylinders. Their pressure, their number one in pressure was at Benito.

Nick Benito, he's. He's awesome. They have 74 pressures here, which I don't think is going to mean a whole lot in this game because the Eagles don't throw a lot, but I do like Bo Nix and Sean Payne. Sean Payne's 30 and 30 in his career in September. Like, that's his worst record is the month of September because he brings this extremely complex playbook. He's got more turnover every single year. You have. Guys need to learn it. And as I get into the year, they understand the nuances of everything. Bo Nicks is the perfect quarterback for that. You watch his throws when he's throwing into the flat, he puts. He gives it out to his running backs or the tight ends in front of them so they're going forward when they're catching the ball. He is starting to understand the game at a brand, at a whole new level. And it's because of Sean Payton, always that defense, the way they're able to operate on offense. I see this being a breaking point for the Eagles where we're going to have a lot of. We're going to have a lot of fun clips, a lot of fun tweets from that wide receiver room when this game's over. I got the Broncos money line as well.

As long as you don't see a whole lot of penalties from the Broncos offense to kind of set themselves in bad situations. I like the Broncos a lot this game. If you watch them in Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay had a great game, schematically, defensively, with a lot mixing in five man fronts, six man fronts to stop the run game and Saquon. You'll see Denver do that as well. And you know, nothing against my big man, the big boy Vita Vey, but you got him trying to chase down Jalen Hurst because Jalen's going to have to make plays with his legs like he has in these first few games. I just think the Broncos have a much better defensive line. They got speed, guys get them to the ground. They're going to have to stay disciplined in the rush lanes. They'll be playing a lot of good, you know, man to man. Are you bracket or double the star on some of these third down situations where you attack AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith? I like the Broncos in this game. Their defense is very good and again, it's like there's just, there's something and you can't quite talk about it yet until the Eagles lose a game, but there's something going on there. There's something happening. I mean you put up what, zero passing yards, zero completions in the second half. They're going to have to win throwing the football. And that's where I like this front of the Denver Broncos because again, they got a lot more speed than our big boy Vita Vey trying to chase down Jalen hurts, you know, in the backfield.

Give a lot of credit to Baker Mayfield as well. He was put in another position to have another game winning two minute draft.

He was, he had that one pick in the end zone. They had a boy from Hunt earlier in the game, but Buccaneers like they were playing very salty on defense. Just Jalen makes a few plays with his legs which again, he understands how to take care of the football and win in those situations. He's done an incredible job of it. I just like this defensive front more for Denver.

I'd like to say I'd go on record too if the Eagles win this game. I'm done doubting the Eagles because I feel like every week I catch myself when I'm like studying for games and the Eagles happen to always be on our list because they're a really good team. They end up playing really good teams and it's like something about them. They're going to fail and then they just don't. And if they beat the Broncos they cover in this game. I'm done.
