Hello friends. Welcome to the weekly scroll where I break down on the biggest social media updates, creator news, platform changes, and marketing
A
trends you actually need to know without
B
having to spend hours doom scrolling the Internet yourself. Now, before we jump into today's episode,
A
I have to tell you something that
B
has honestly surprised me. In the last month, I have grown
A
4,000 followers over on Instagram, and it's
B
not because I discovered some secret Instagram hack, it's not because I went viral, and it's definitely not because I suddenly
A
started spending more time creating.
B
In fact, it's been the opposite. I've been creating content faster than ever because I've been using the exact system I built inside of the Visibility Vault, which is my viral Canva templates. If you've ever sat down to create content and you found yourself staring at a blank canvas screen, or you don't even know what to search for and you're just wondering what to post, what to say, or how to make it look good, that's exactly why I created the Visibility Vault. Inside, I've got over 150 Canva templates. I also give you a little bonus swipe and seal captions, document and content ideas designed to help you create weeks of content in literal minutes, not hours. So I'm just reusing these babies over and over and they are continuing to
A
go off for me. 4,000 new followers. I'll tell you more about it later in this episode.
B
But if consistency is something you've been struggling with, if you suck at graphic design, or if you just want to cut your workload in half, make sure
A
you check out the link in the
B
show notes for the visibility fault. All right, let's get into the this week's biggest update over on social media. Now, the first one, I'm not really happy about it, and I don't think you're going to be happy about it either. Instagram is testing unskippable ads. Boo. Let's start with this one that made creators collectively grown this week because I groaned. Instagram is testing these unskippable ads, meaning users may be forced to sit through an advertisement before, they continue to consume content. Now, if you've been around social media long enough, you know, know exactly why platforms do this.
A
They want money.
B
The platforms are constantly trying to increase their revenue and create more inventory for advertisers. And the interesting thing for creators is what this could do to user behavior. If users start experiencing more interruptions while they're scrolling, then quality content is becoming even more important. People will become less patient. Attention is going to become even more valuable, and creators who can immediately capture attention are likely to benefit. Which honestly brings us back to something I talk about all the time. Your goal shouldn't always be more content. It's just better content. The people that are gonna win on Instagram right now, they're not posting 10 times a day. They're posting strategically, and they're posting content that's good. And that's why I created the Visibility Vault. Because I've own an agency now for five years, we've created so much content, like thousands and thousands of Canva templates and reels. And so we've been able to test all of this content to see what actually works and what doesn't. So I've perfectly packaged a bunch of beautiful Canva templates that you will just literally plug and play inside of the Visibility Vault. And I've put them in the show notes for you. So this should help you create better content. All right, update number two. Instagram is letting users customize their feed.
A
And I think this is fascinating.
B
Instagram's giving users more control over what they see. In other words, users can now actively tell Instagram what kind of content they want more of. And honestly, I think this is a bigger deal than most creators realize, because for years, people have blamed the algorithm. Right? But what happens when users themselves are helping blame train the algorithm? Maybe Instagram's gonna get a better algorithm like TikTok had. It means relevance matters more than ever. So if your content is not connecting with the correct audience, Instagram has even
A
more signals telling it now not to show your content.
B
Which is why random posting is becoming increasingly dangerous. Guys, the creators that grow the fastest are creating content around clear pillars and clear content topics. And that's something I want to know do you have in place right now. Do you have three to five topics that you want to talk about every single week? Because repetition is very important here. You need to stick to the same subject area, be known for that subject area. This is what's going to get you the most visibility online. And again, this is the reason why I organized the Visibility vault because the thing with the Visibility Vault is you can go on Canva, but if you're looking for a template, they've got it organized by like Instagram, Instagram story, Instagram post, Facebook post. But in the Visibility Vault, I've organized these templates based on goals and content categories. So you get in there and you say, okay, today I need to post something that is growth specific. So you want to grow your followers. Okay, today I need to post something that's going to promote my offer. Okay, today I need to post something that I'm going to get a lot
A
of shares or saves or engagement.
B
Everything is organized by your goal. So it makes it much easier for
A
you to come up with the content
B
idea and then of course, you just plug and play. But I think this is very important, especially if people are able to decide what their algorithm looks like, you really have to connect with them more than ever. So I do believe that the future of the algorithm is creating strategic content that tells both your audience and the algorithm exactly what you're known for. And that is how you will get
A
more visibility on the app.
B
All right, update three. LinkedIn is launching a creator marketplace. I'm kind of excited about this one. I think it's about time. For years, creators have been building audiences on LinkedIn without really having many built in opportunities to connect with brands. Right? This is going to change that. The marketplace will help brands find creators directly for partnerships and collaborations. There are so many third party apps and websites out there now that like connect people to a brand. But I like the idea of connecting directly with the brand because if you're using like I love Aspire, I love later, but there's a middleman in there and you have to, you know, pay to utilize them. They're taking a cut, basically. And I'm not sure if LinkedIn doing this, if you are able to partner directly with the brand, does that mean more money for you in your pocket because you're cutting out the middleman? I don't know. There's not enough information out there yet. But I am looking forward to this marketplace and testing it out. And I'll be sure to come back and give you guys my honest opinion on it. But I do think it's going to be a great marketplace, not even for influencers or creators, but what about consultants or speakers or authors or coaches or business owners, the people who have an expertise in a specific subject area? This is your time to make money doing that. And that's what I tell you guys. All the time is make some money on the the subject area that you're really, really good at. Like monetize your passion, monetize your expertise. And this is going to be the easiest way for you to do that. So if you've been IGN ignoring LinkedIn up until now, this might be your sign to go make a profile or
A
maybe start posting over there once or
B
twice a week just to get your foot back in the game. I think the creator economy is going to expand Beyond Instagram and TikTok. And if you're smart, you're going to start building your visibility across multiple platforms.
A
Starting a business can feel wildly overwhelming. When I started my own business and honestly, even when I launched this podcast, it felt like every single day there
B
was a new hat to wear.
A
Content creator, marketer, website designer, designer, sales team. Like what? And when you're building something from scratch, it can feel really lonely because every decision somehow lands back on you. That's why I genuinely wish I had Shopify from day one as more of a built in business partner. Shopify isn't just a website platform. It's the commerce platform behind millions of businesses around the world and powers 10% of all E commerce in the US you can build a beautiful online store with ready to use templates that actually match your brand. Their built in AI tools help with things like product descriptions, headlines and content creation, which is amazing when your brand is already already maxed out. And I love that everything lives in one place. Inventory, payments, analytics, customer service. Instead of piecing together 10 different platforms and hoping they all work, they're all together. So if you've been sitting on an
B
idea or you're ready to finally take
A
your business seriously, start your business today with the industry's best business partner, Shopify, and start hearing. Sign up for your $1 per month trial today at shopify.comchc go to shopify.comchc that's shopify.comchc okay, quick question. Are you the person in the group chat planning the entire trip? Story 4 Instagram edits gets a desktop version. I'm very excited for this, especially for my agency and our clients, because I think this will make it easier for my social media managers to edit content. But Instagram Edit says it's getting a desktop version along with an AI production assistant. What I'm really, I'm really looking forward to that. Whether you love AI or you hate it, I personally think if there are specific tools for specific pain points, why not utilize it? It's going to make you do your job faster. The barrier to creating content keeps getting lower. Editing content is becoming easier. Producing it's becoming easier. Repurposing it is becoming easier. And so some people might see that as competition, but actually see as an opportunity. Because the easier that content creation becomes, the less valuable the technical skills become. So the differentiator factor becomes you. Your story, your experience, your personality, your perspective. Anybody can create content these days, but not everybody can create your content. And so that's why I think it is so important for you to show
A
up raw, for you to show up
B
authentic, for you to show up as yourself. That is what is going to get people to choose you. All right, last update here. Pinterest and Amazon Storefront integration. So this one might be the most underrated update of the week. Very excited for this. Pinterest is adding Amazon Storefront, which means creators can more easily monetize content through affiliate marketing. And if you've listened to me for any amount of time, you know I am a huge believer in diversifying not
A
only your visibility, but your revenue streams.
B
There are way too many creators that rely entirely on either one revenue stream or one, one platform. And I think that's very dangerous to your bottom line. So Pinterest, what I love about Pinterest is that your content over there, it lives forever. It lives longer. Pinterest drives traffic, referral traffic more than any other platform out there, too. And they're going to continue generating clicks months after.
A
Months after. Months after it's posted.
B
So if you're a creator or a
A
coach or a business owner or affiliate Marketer.
B
Marketer. Pinterest might deserve a second look from you.
A
Especially if you're one of those people
B
that does like the Amazon hauls or you're buying stuff from Wayfair. Like, that is the best place to get your links out there. Because, like, right now, I'm, I'm someone that's building a new home, for example, and we are getting on Pinterest weekly to look up ideas for the house. So if I come across your content on Pinterest, you're probably going to push me to your site and I'm going to buy from you. So Pinterest is so underrated, and it's something that you guys need to look at, especially now that they're doing an Amazon storefront integration. All right, if I had to summarize this week's updates in one sentence, it would be this. These platforms are becoming smarter, right? Which means creators need to become more intentional with their content. You can't just post randomly anymore and hope for the best. You have to have strategy in place. You have to have consistency. And you, you really need to know
A
that visibility matters more than ever.
B
So that is why I created the Visibility Vault. It's the system I've been using to create content faster, stay consistent, and again, I've grown over 4,000 followers this month from Canva templates, the carousels, and they're all inside. So if you grab the Visibility Vault, you will find over 150 Canva templates. These are tried and tested, they're trendy,
A
and we're even giving you swipe and
B
steal captions to go with it. So literally, literally all of your content, you could batch create it at the beginning of your week and be done for the week. So if you're tired of wondering what to post every day or if you
A
just aren't good at it, head over to the link in my show notes
B
and grab the Visibility Vault.
A
All right, thanks for hanging out with me this week.
B
I will see you next time on the weekly Scroll.
