Capshaw and Camille Ludington and iHeartRadio podcast.
B
Foreign hello. Call it crew. Here is another short and sweet episode brought to you by BMW.
A
I love a BMW. I've driven a couple in my days. They're smooth ride.
B
Yeah, yeah, it used to like that way back in the day too. I would just like stare at those cars. Be like one day and I'd be on the bus.
A
We were just in. We were walking down the street and we went to the next game and Luke saw a really sweet. A sweet ass. BMW definitely had some kind of custom color. And he was like, Whoa, could that BMW, it was like 2349721. You know, like the style number. Is that what they even call them? Model number?
B
You think that I would know the model? I don't know if I just threw it out. Like, oh, the 23791. I love this. I'm so confused what's going on right now. Yeah, I love that they're all gorgeous. Okay, let's talk about the picture you.
A
Sent me from the game of Luke and Benny Blanco.
B
Yes. And I text you, I said, have he needs to come on. Call it what it is. I love him.
A
How about the fact that Luke managed to, you know, he, he got the moxie to go up to Benny Blanco and ask for a picture. And I didn't have the moxie to walk up to Benny Blanco and be like, hey, will you come on the podcast?
B
No. That was such a opportunity. We so silly.
A
I messed it up.
B
I saw an interview with him and he's like very extrovert. He. He defines himself as an extrovert and he's super friendly and I think that you should. Come on.
A
Come on, Benny.
B
I love that new song with him too.
A
Oh my gosh, it's so good. Well, here's. Here was the. Actually the most endearing part of the picture of Luke and Benny. I'm g. Call him Benny now. He's my friend. Is that. I said, oh my gosh, that was so cool. You asked to take a picture of them and he goes, yeah, he was super cool, super chill guy. I was like, yeah. And he goes, yeah, he just, you Know, he. He said, just, yeah, yeah, man, I'll take a picture with you. Just hold on. Let me. Let me move my chicken tenders into my other hand. He didn't want to take a picture with his chicken tenders. He was so polite. He didn't want the chicken tenders in the picture with him. He was like, you don't want to take a picture with me and my chicken tenders? You want to take a picture of me?
B
I don't know, though. Sometimes, like, I remember the chicken tender picture with Taylor Swift. Everyone was, like, talking about the chicken tenders. Sometimes you want to know, like, what are you eating? What kind of sauces do you get with that? Like, I have questions. You a ranch person? Are you a honey mustard?
A
Do you know this about me? I get all the sauces.
B
Every single one?
A
Pretty much. I mean, truly, like a little dip in every single one. Not like all of them together. So it's some sort of, you know.
B
No, no, no, no.
A
Sociopath sauce. Yeah, but, like, you know, like, you take it, you dip it, and then you have a little ranch bite, and then you may have a little honey mustard bite and then a little barbecue.
B
I. This is something that Matt and I fight about all the time, actually, because he. I really desperately. His food looks really dry to me all the time. And I'm like, you just need a sauce, and he doesn't want a sauce. And it, like, actually kind of pisses me off.
A
Another reason why we probably should live together.
B
Yeah, obviously.
A
By the way, speaking of your husband, who did you get a text from this week?
B
Yesterday? Mama Capshaw. She saved in my phone as Mama Capshaw. Ms. K. Capshaw, the icon that she is, graced me with her texting, and I really, truly mean that and said that she loved the Matt and I episode. And I instantly got all red faced and hot because I was like, God, I talk. We talked about farts and everything. And she's so chic, and I can't even believe she listened to that, but she. She sent me a couple real cute texts.
A
She loves you. She thinks you're so. Well, you are so funny. But oh, my gosh. And then. And then again, guys, it's not just on the podcast that she musters all this incredible wit. She does it on text, actually. That might be where you shine the brightest.
B
I was on text? Yeah. Not in person. Not.
A
No, not in person. Oh, my God. One of my favorite things. People say you're so much taller and prettier in person. Thanks.
B
I've gotten that Too. I don't know what I look like on the show, but like. Like a. Oh, my God, you're so much. I'm like, what do I look like on TV anyway?
A
Yeah.
B
Actually talking about being on tv.
A
Yeah.
B
Here's what we're tackling today. If you were the main character of the movie in your life, which you should be. Yeah, exactly. And you have an audience watching the movie, A, what would the audience be screaming at you to do? And B, what needs to change?
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. Let's get inspired by the crew and then we can answer at the end because they got some good submissions.
A
Well, and by the way, I just want to add to this, for anyone who's super visual like myself, I did envision this. Like you're sitting in a movie theater, but like a really big one, not a teeny tiny one.
B
Yeah. You've sold out, like the El Capitan or something.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you're watching a movie and you got all these audience members and they're just watching, popping some popcorn, drinking some soda, all this stuff. And they're so into the movie and you're doing stuff, and they're so inspired or not. Like, you're not. They're really not. They need you to do something different by the movie of your life that they have to scream at you to do something.
B
You know what? I already know what all my answers. I'm just to say right now, they would be screaming at me, stop worrying about dying. I know, I know. And I say with a smile, because it's like, I know this is my thing. This is my trigger. But, like, it is my trigger because of my, you know, my mommy trauma. But, like, I think that they would be like, just enjoy your day. Like, stop worrying about. And Zoloft does help me stop worrying a little bit, and so does therapy. But there's still that underlying thing.
A
Yeah. I think when you have that, it's. Yeah, it. It really does frame your whole life.
B
It does. It's like a real. It's a real hard right turn.
A
But I say you really took me down. I don't know how to come back.
B
Listen, let's. It was really depressing. That's what they would be screaming. Because that is. That's real for me.
A
And you know what? That is real. And that's why. But what's also real. And this is. I just love you so much. I really do. There's so many times in this podcast where just. I just think again. I think you shine so bright and I just think you're the most wonderful person in the world, but I love you because you can bring that. And then the flip side of it, which is the laughter, just, we gotta.
B
You gotta laugh for it.
A
Yeah, you're left, right. I sound a little drunk, I think. Slur those words.
B
Slur drunks through it. Yeah. Future Health gives millions access to affordable weight loss meds like OIC and semaglutide for less than three bucks a day. Dive into a drama on Hulu and remember why you love drama in the first place. There's so much drama on Hulu and it's all in one place.
B
So let's pause the annoying everyday drama and play the drama you want. Hulu, the drama you want.
A
So let's remind ourselves that if you were the main character in the movie of your life and you have an audience watching the movie, what is the audience screaming at you to do? And what do you need to change? And we got some crazy submissions. Why don't you kick it off?
B
Okay. Cameron says to get with the guys. All my friends think I should get with. Yeah, a little bravery out there. Moves. Yeah, that's fun.
A
She's got.
B
Mine was a real downer.
A
Yeah, I know yours.
B
We started off. Listen, that was real. It was real and also a downer. But it's fine. That was my real answer.
A
Yeah, or it's not fine sometimes. And we can sit in that too. We're brave.
B
Yeah.
A
Alicia said ask her out already and stop being so scared. That's such a big one.
B
Who is the Alicia? Who is she? Can we help facilitate this? Yeah. Okay. Ken, why does everything have to be so negative with you? Can't you just think positive for once? Ken's Yes, I listen the world Is real tough right now. I understand how easy this is to do sometimes.
A
Well, that reminds me of my screensaver is the.
B
Which.
A
Which is the antidote to all that is mine too. Is that if you're worried all the time and you really believe in your worry, then. And. And it's. It's just worry. Right. It's not an actual thing that's happened. It's just your worry about a thing that might happen then couldn't it be equally true because you're thinking all the time it's not going to work out. Right. Couldn't equally true that everything could work out. And so if you just flip the script and spend more time thinking, what if it all works out? Instead of what if it doesn't work out, then how does. How does thing. How do things change for you? And I have to say, they've changed a lot for me.
B
Yeah. Agree.
A
As I deal with anxiety, which is, you know, definitely.
B
You've only recently started saying that, by the way.
A
I think I've asked you that question.
B
Before and you have not. So welcome to the club. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
A
Thanks.
B
There's a lot of us.
A
Do I get a card? All right. Bella said the audience would be screaming at me to stand up for myself. Yes. Yes. Yes. Sometimes I don't stand up for myself either, Summer.
B
To not care about everyone else's opinion. I can't change it. So why worry about it so much?
A
Yes. Because let them.
B
Let them know.
A
Robin Tali says, tell me to say no. I've been saying yes to everything. Oh, I say yes.
B
I know.
A
There was definitely a moment in my life where I just used to be able to manage all of it. And so I would say yes to everything anyone asked me to do. And I thought that was fine. And then kids and life and work and everything else. And then all of a sudden I realized I said yes to everything and there would be very conflicting items on my calendar.
B
You know that movie like yes Day. You need no day.
A
I need no day. No, No, I can't. Can you do that? No, I can't.
B
No, I can't. Okay.
A
Benji says get out of the house, even if it's just for a walk, and find some hobbies.
B
I can relate to the hobbies. I need more hobbies.
A
I actually googled the times you could get out of the house. You're a little slothy.
B
I do. I love a slothy.
A
Yeah, I know.
B
Coco, block him.
A
That's. Yes. Because also, it's easy. Just block.
B
Yeah.
A
Didn't Used to be so easy. I didn't have that back in the day. It'd be great to block them. Anne said get my driver's license. Yes. You'll have so much freedom. It's amazing.
B
Yes. Rich said to stop beating myself up over the past.
A
Yeah, I get that. Oh, I get that. They would probably scream, get your together.
B
When they scream at all of us in some way to get our together, there's some part of everyone's life that just needs to get a little more together.
A
Yeah. I feel like you do that for me sometimes.
B
Megan said, have another baby and leave my teaching job to bake full time. Yes, please, Megan, open a bakery. Open and send us the goods. Ashley, kiss a girl. So I'd come out publicly crying on the inside. Ashley.
A
Hashtag crying on the inside.
B
Yeah. Hashtag crying on the ashy. Ashley, go kiss a girl.
A
Yeah.
B
We support this. Ashley, go get it. Yeah.
A
Jessica, let go of the narcissistic, toxic family members in my life. It only hurts worse to hang on. Oh, that's a. Let them.
B
Yeah. That is.
A
Let them be on their journey and then let you figure out how to keep your mind and body safe.
B
Yeah, absolutely. Selena, you've got to eventually stop choosing the job over the man. Let too many good ones slip away. That's hard, you know?
A
Don't hear this often, do you?
B
No.
A
So many great guys I let slip away.
B
I know, but she's choosing work life. She's making that the priority right now. And I think it sounds like she needs to make room for more. We can always get lost in the things. You can get lost in a relationship. You can get lost on your work. You can get lost in motherhood.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Lana said, stop feeling sorry for yourself and get the. God, no. I know. You gotta break the cycle. I don't like this. I really don't like when people say this, but I do think it's true, which is whenever you get into the habit of not taking care of yourself and maybe not going to the gym, not going for walks, not doing, like, not doing the things that help your body be strong and fit, you're like, you really don't want to go. But then when you go, you want to go more.
B
Yeah, it's true.
A
You're never sorry that you went.
B
Yeah.
A
No. No.
B
You're never sorry.
A
No, you're never sorry. So I think this is one of those things where it's like, I think you get the up.
B
I also think that you can make. You can make, like, the last day of it turn, I mean, be like, you know what, today I'm gonna be slobby. I'm gonna sit in bed, I'm gonna whatever I want to do. And this is the last day to like do that.
A
Oh, I like that.
B
You know, so you give yourself that day to like do all the things you want to do. You want to stay in your PJs, you want to brush your teeth for the day, fine, don't. But tomorrow morning when you, you're going to get up, you're going to shower, you're going to do all the things, you're going to go outside.
A
Yeah, I like.

Chloe I really notice when I sometimes I'm like, you know, I forget to take my anxiety medication and even after some I've gone like three days in a row where I needed to pick up my prescription and I've been so busy and haven't done it and I can notice a difference even in just like three days of it, I start to feel a little like wobbly. So yeah, take it daily people.
A
Ken said the audience would yell to break up with my boyfriend. Well, the audience would yell that sounds like he sounds like he's got a biff or something.
B
Oh God, get rid of the biff. You got to get. You got to biff the biffs Maybe.
A
That'S the T shirt. Get rid of the biff. No biffs allowed. Or just biff with a big red.
B
I know. Oh, God. Ida, stop getting drunk every weekend and kissing boys you don't like. That doesn't feel good.
A
I'm not. Oh, it's not good for you.
B
I wouldn't even call them frogs. I would call them, like, toads. Do you know what I mean? Like, whatever. Step below. I've done rats.
A
Yeah.
B
I've had it. I've had a night or two. Yeah, listen. Saddle Ranch on Sunset Boulevard. Oh, God. Was. Was. There were a lot of rats there. And I was like, you know, two fishbowl Mai Tai's deep. And everyone started, like, royal good. They're riding the bull, you guys. This is one of, like, the. I mean, I actually do love Saddle Ranch because it's a own thing back in the day.
A
I mean, just to explain it, it was a giant. It was like an amusement park bar on Sunset Boulevard where I don't even know where people parked people. Like, shuttle bus in. I don't.
B
I. I don't know where they parked. I definitely go.
A
And there was a mechanical bowl in the center of it.
B
Yeah. I was really good at having a little smooch and then turning my girlfriends and being like, I need to get.
A
Out of here now. You and I would have been in so much trouble if we had known each other during this phase.
B
Yeah. Because you're kissing Bandit. I was a little. That Saddle Ranch. I was a little kissing bandit over at Saddle Ranch.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I was like, pull them in. Push him out.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
Yeah.
B
No, fully clothed. There is nothing else going on. There's just a smooch.
A
Oh, my gosh. By the way, I just want to go back to this. Ida. I get it. And I mean, I just want to say that. Have you ever had that thing? Thankfully, these days are behind me back in these days that we will refer to as the SR Days, the Saddle Ranch days, where it was actually my only favorite part of this situation. The horror and semi delight slash hilarity that would come the next day when you'd remember something.
B
Yes.
A
That had been blocked.
B
Yes. Can I tell you. Yes. Yes. And you would. And you were dying or cringe. Dying. And you'd have to maybe go have another mimosa because you're like, I need to just not remember any. It's funny because my. My kissing smoochies, at that time, they were often referred to as famous people. So it'd be like one of the People I made out with was the poor man's Orlando balloon, but it was always the poor man's. It's like they look. They didn't quite look, you know, they.
A
Were several notches down the PMs. But not the prime ministers.
B
They were not.
A
Yeah, they were.
B
Oh, they were not the real deals. I had a lot of PMs in my job.
A
They were dupes.
B
They were the dupes. Yeah, they were dupy dupes. Victoria, stop pleasing everyone. Be a little more selfish and love myself more.
A
Yes to that.
B
Yeah.
A
Julie said the audience would be like, girl, just you wait. You're gonna meet Jessica and Camilla one day.
B
I want to go on the road, Jess.
A
Let's do it. Let's take the show on the road.
B
I would. Would you guys join us if we went on the road? I feel like we need to hit up a city.
A
Oh, my gosh, yes.
B
Which city, you guys? Which city? Where are you guys?
A
Tell us where you want us. We're gonna take this on the road.
B
Listen, that inspired me, by the way.
A
Speaking of, because we were at the. I was at the Knicks game last night, and I. Not only did I see Benny Blanco, but I also saw Whitney Cummings, who has. Who was on the show, and she's on the road. She's taken her show on the road.
B
Did you say hi?
A
Yeah. Oh, hello. I ran into her in the bathroom and then we squealed and we hugged and then we told each other how great the other one looked. And then. Yeah, it was great. Little catch up. She loved coming on the show and we loved having her, so that's great.
B
Yeah, her. Her TikToks right now are cracking me up. She is really funny.
A
She's so.
B
I do respect the Zero filter. I really, like. I don't know, I kind of wish that I had a little bit more of that, but I'm too scared.
A
Yeah, I agree.
B
Okay. You have to answer the question before.
A
Okay.
B
What would they be screaming at you?
A
