Woof, the San Francisco 49ers had an ugly performance in their preseason opener against the Denver Broncos. The rookies struggled, Kyle Shanahan seemed uninterested in playing many (any?) key contributors, the quarterback play was uninspiring, and it all proved why the preseason is tough to watch.
