I hope you had a great break. I can't believe we're actually talking about season three. This has been a a two year passion project, I think as I I recently posted this started as kind of a selfish ambition to just provide a platform for us to dive deeper, to kind of unpack topics and trends and transformative themes and well beyond the kind of sound bite mentality and culture of social media and and the Internet these days. And it has grown to something that we're just deeply appreciative that we have so many interested listeners. So first of all, thank you for this awesome two year journey and we're excited to start thinking about and teasing Season three of Capital Decanted. A couple things and I mentioned this in the last two episodes of season two we are thinking through some changes on formatting and this is not going to be revolutionary. It'll be evolutionary over the course of this full transition season Season three. But one of the pieces of feedback that we get relatively often is that which was our intention, we really wanted this to be a unique long form storytelling platform. There are lots of great podcasts and interviewers that do great one on one discussions and many of those discussions I benefit from, Aaron benefits from. I'm sure you do too, but it's a lot of the same people and frankly they do it really well. So we're not trying to just add another one on one show to your to your podcast feed. We really want to go deep into a narrative arc. And in order to do that, one of the things that I think we've come to realize through discussions with our listeners is that more of an integrated flow of our guest conversation and what we've traditionally called our intro, our deep dive, meaning Aaron and I's deep dive into the background is something we're going to try to work on. So it feels like one long segment and experience and conversation rather than two or three segments. So that's a big change and I certainly hope, and I hope you give us feedback on this on whether it's working again, we're going to be experimenting. It'll be a bit of trial and error. So hang with us. Let us know what suits you well. In order for you to be equipped with these, these deep dives and these tutorials, these masterclasses, as we sometimes say, on these topics. I also just before I wanted to pass to Aaron to maybe tease a few of the topics that is on our schedule, I wanted to just give a special shout out once again to Franklin Templeton. Their alternatives, offerings in particular for being our signature, our title sponsor for season three. They have been long time friends across many fronts and facets. They do the right thing and they stand for much of the values that Kaya does. So we're just thrilled to have them back. Thanks again to to Alternatives by Franklin Templeton. So as we stand a couple weeks away as we drop this recording from our first episode, Aaron, what should we be hinting to listeners about some of the topics that we have in store?
A
No, absolutely, John. I'm very excited for this season and before I tease some of the topics that we're going to cover, I just want to say that a lot of this is influenced by all of you and that can be informally or formally. We've been on this listening tour over the past 12 months of meeting with members and senior leaders across the industry and a lot of those topics that we're going to be covering in season three were influenced by a lot of those conversations. And then of course, I'm sure John can attest to as well, you go out to events, you meet with people and you've got this kind of cult following of people who are loyal listeners that sit through the sometimes close to two hour episodes on some of these deep dives. And we've gotten a nice cohort of listeners over the past couple of years. So as we look at season three, there's a couple of things, a couple of themes that we're excited to talk about. We're going to cover some big stuff here. We'll talk about things like retirement. We'll do a follow up on Total Portfolio Approach, which is something that we've been engaging with over the past couple of years. We'll talk about some new markets that are really interesting to us. We talked about China in season two. We're going to move to the Gulf in season three and talk about portions of the Middle east, the capital of capital, if you will. And then we're going to do some fun stuff. We've got a couple of fun topics up our sleeves to share and do some deep dives, whether that's emerging managers and some of the idiosyncrasies that come from that sports investing as well. And how do you kind of create a business model of investment around sports. But most importantly, and this is episode one of that I'm very excited about is John and I are going to space. We are going to be talking about the space economy and what does it actually mean to invest in space travel and all the different facets of leaving the Earth. And going out into the atmosphere. So really excited for you guys to hear that episode. We'll talk a lot about Star Wars, a lot about Star Trek and how both are amazing movies and series. John completely agrees with me as you'll hear on the episode, but really excited for you guys to hear that one as well. It's a fun one but also very interesting to think about space investing through the lens of today's environment. So excited for this, John.

Yeah, indeed. And listeners, as you'll hear much more in episode one. Aaron has a ton of talents, but he is a walking contradiction on this and you'll hear more about that in season one. It's one of the, one of the few flaws of, of Mr. Fullback. So I'm really pumped about that first episode. It was a little bit of historical familiarity with many of these milestones that defined our childhood, maybe even our parents childhood. But it also was just as capital decanted episodes often are. It was an amazing discovery, no pun intended, of fascinating new cost curves and revenue models and, and entrepreneur opportunities. And it, I think you're going to enjoy it. So we look forward to dropping that, as I said, in just a two to three short weeks. So we look forward to this journey once again with all of you. We are deeply grateful. This, this is, this doesn't, this is not worth it if we don't have listeners that are, that are kind of partnered with us and are benefiting from a lot of this equipping narrative that we enjoy. So we thank you for your continued support and commitment and we look forward to seeing you again in season three. So talk to you soon.
