It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band! Monday, April 13, UNC is bringing together national leaders in the AI field for an all-day conference at the Friday Center called “AI For Public Good.” Attendees will discuss how to take advantage of AI in fields like medical research and environmental sustainability – while avoiding the potential pitfalls and disadvantages that are already starting to creep into society and everyday life. Aaron welcomes two special guests to discuss both the conference and the state of AI on campus today: Penny Gordon-Larsen, UNC’s vice chancellor for research, and Emily Pfaff, an associate professor at the UNC School of Medicine.
