As a property sales specialist and luxury real estate expert, Kayla became a licensed agent in four states and earned the title of #1 Top Sales Producer in her first full year.

In 2024, Kayla expanded her reach, becoming a bestselling author with the release of her book, Always Squeezing Lemons. The book, which explores how to define success on your own terms and navigate adversity, became an Amazon bestseller and #1 new release in two categories within its first week. In it, Kayla shares her personal journey of profound growth, shedding her "picture-perfect" life to embrace uncertainty and authentic self-expression.

Along with her book, Kayla founded Move Into Words, with a mission to advocate for sustainable habits towards mental and physical health to help young professionals thrive. She created the initiative Operation 1 Million Journals to make journaling accessible to 1 million individuals, empowering them to find purpose and clarity in their lives.
