Gloucester played Hartpury in their final Premiership Cup home game and it was a bit of a stinker. A 7-7 draw with very little quality or entertainment, Jim and Ed give their very short reviews of the game and where we can find any positives. In the Six Nations, England snatched an improbable victory over a misfiring French side; Scotland once again crumbled in the face of a dominant Ireland and Wales' misery continues to a 14th straight defeat as Italy win back to back games in Rome.We chat through all the games plus the confirmation of Santi's departure to Bath.Ed PriceJames Eastwood (Snowy)Jim HarleyCherry Jam is kindly sponsored by PGT LLP

This week Ed and Russ discuss their unexpectedly intimate weekend away in Penzance as they watched Gloucester defeat Cornish Pirates in the Premiership Cup. They chat through the game, the encouraging performances and the following days U18 comfortable win away to Exeter at Truro College. Finally they discuss the opening weekends action in the Six Nations. Ed Price Russ Brookes Cherry Jam is delighted to be sponsored by PGT LLP

Gloucester regained the Slater Cup after a thrilling comeback win over Leicester at Kingsholm. It leaves the Cherry and Whites in 3rd place as the Premiership breaks for the Six Nations. We chat through the game, the key moments and the performances by so many players across the squad. Once again Santi was awarded Player of the Match by TNT and his future continues to be in doubt as there are strong rumours he may depart for Bath at the end of the season. The lads weigh up that and all the other transfer news and rumours including the confirmed re-signings before checking in on Glos-Hartpury's weekend - which couldn't have gone much better (Despite not playing). Finally we do a little preview of the Six Nations. Ed Price James Eastwood (Snowy) Russ Brookes Jim Harley Cherry Jam is delighted to be sponsored by PGT LLP.

Jim and Ed chat about their respective experiences over in France and Spain last weekend as Gloucester succumbed to a heavy defeat away to Bayonne in the final weekend of group fixtures in the Challenge Cup. Gloucester have qualified and will face the very tricky task of a trip to Montpellier in the last 16. After Jim and Ed guide you through the 'Wish you were here' segment of this weeks' pod, they then discuss the game, the performances that stood out and why it may end up being the right decision to rest so many ahead of this weekends key clash with Leicester. Another bumper episode this week as Ed speaks with Deputy Sports Editor for City AM (and fellow Gloucester supporter) Matt Hardy about rugby, business and how clubs interact with journalists and the press. As usual, the lads also chat through the weekends results and another good result at home for Gloucester - this time over Scarlets in the Challenge Cup. We discuss the performance, where it leads the Cherry and Whites in terms of qualification for the knockouts and the improving defence. We also discuss Glos-Hartpury returning to the top of the PWR with a hard fought win over Loughborough Lightning as friend of the pod, Zoe Aldcroft, is appointed as Red Roses captain. A bumper episode this week as Gloucester and Glos-Hartpury secured excellent wins against Sale and Bristol respectively. We discuss the performances and the importance of both victories and what it could mean for the rest of the season. Also in this weeks pod are our thoughts on the 2025/26 Membership available to Gloucester supporters, the value, the innovative ideas and where we could see improvements. Finally, we do comment on the controversy around Kirill (who has our full support). Cherry Jam is proud to be sponsored by PGT LLP. Ed Price Jim Harley Russ Brookes

As we return for our final pod of 2024, we unfortunately saw Gloucester fail to back up the previously good wins over Northampton and Quins, this time losing to previously winless Exeter away at Sandy Park. More of a concern is the growing injury list with confirmation that Zach Mercer, Ollie Thorley and potentially Afo Fasogbon are all out for the rest of the season. We chat through the game, the positives including another superb individual performance by Lewis Ludlow and discuss whether the injuries are going to once again limit what we can expect from the rest of the season. Finally, a bit of added nonsense as we run through the weird and wonderful Pokemon and Gloucestershire versions of Monopoly. After the devastating news from a few weeks ago we pay tribute to Tom Voyce - we would like to express our sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP Tom. In this weeks pod we ask Jim about his Vannes trip and whether the weekend made up for the game. We then chat through an excellent win and 'nilling' of Harlequins at home; the great performances throughout the team but why it isn't the complete performance others may have mentioned. Finally we discuss the Glos-Hartpury win away to Exeter and why it was so good to see a return to form live on Youtube. Gloucester won their opening pool game of this seasons Challenge Cup against Edinburgh. It was an ugly win in difficult conditions (not the most entertaining match but a good result in the end). We chat through the game as well as all the weekends action and why its becoming more of a stretch for the average supporter to catch all the games they might want to. We also discuss Glos-Hartpury's return to winning ways before we answer some of your 'Listener questions': What is our go-to pint on match day? What have been Gloucester's most challenging weather experiences? Finally, we wanted to pay tribute to a former guest of this podcast and a devout Gloucester Rugby supporter - Tom Morris. Tom was one of the driving forces of Progressive Rugby, helping bring much needed attention to the issue of concussion in the game and its impact on players health. Tom sadly passed away at the end of November after a short battle with cancer. All our thoughts go out to Tom's family and friends. RIP Tom. You will be missed. Ed Price Jim Harley Thank you again to Wynn Homes for their kind sponsorship of this week's podcast.
