B
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Monday, everybody. Happy post. Eagles win to Francesca. Big Sunday.
A
Yep. If you have the day off today, I hope you're enjoying the day off.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah, it was a. It was a good Sunday. I was, I mean, nerve wracking game. Thought they were going to blow it at the end, but they didn't, which is great.
B
Huge relief.
A
Huge relief. Um, and now they play the NFC championship game at home.
B
Yes, they do.
A
Which is huge.
B
Are you gonna go?
A
Commanders beat the Lions. Um, I would love to go. I don't. I mean, ticket. I like immediately looked at tickets. They're very expensive.
B
Yeah.
A
Not shocking. It's the NFC championship game. Um, but if I could find a way to go, I would, I would definitely go. I was jealous of everybody at the game yesterday looked like as much as I like would have loved to be at that game. Being cozy in my apartment was also nice too, because that was. It was snowing. Yeah. Like, I had some friends that were there who were just like, no. Yeah, that was, that was like. It was snowing. Of course, spirits are high after. Right after a win, so like that makes it more fun. You're just like having a snow party.
B
But during it, it's like.
A
But yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
If this.
A
Yeah.
B
If, if we don't win and it's snowing this much, we're gonna be pissed.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Did you see Kaitlin Bristow's video?
B
No, I didn't.
A
She posted a full. Like she was at the game with. With a certain someone.
B
Right, right, right. And filled your spot.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yep. And. And I was dying. Cause she was like filming everything of like, and just trying to like be in with the crowd and like singing the songs and like doing the chants and everything. She was all decked out. I was like, hell yeah. Go birds. Katelyn. Yeah, she's in. She's locked in. So I was laughing at that. She tagged me in her. In her comment, she was like, fly, eagles, fly. In her caption, I was like, yeah, that's amazing. So, no, very exciting. But, yeah, it was stressful. Oh, my God. And my. Like, thank God I don't watch these games with my dad and my brother because they are actual psychopaths. Like, I feel bad for my mom that she's with them watching these games just from their text alone. I was literally texting in our jet. Like, we have our big family group chat of all literally called Birds gang. It's all my dad's family and the two of them. I'm like, I'm literally writing back to them. Shut up. Yeah, like, shut up.
B
What are they just, like, super daggy.
A
This game's over. We fucking suck. We can't do this. We can't do that. And it's like, they played for six minutes. I'm like, oh, my God. Shut up. It's. It's like, I can't even imagine how annoying they are in person.
B
Yeah.
A
And it's, like, starting to rub off on Gia, and I'm like, I need Gia to chill, too.
B
You needed her lock in?
A
Yeah.
B
I mean.
A
Gia came over, and one of my cousins and Lauren and then one of Gia's friends were all in my apartment, and Gia's friend was like, I'm gonna need the energy from you to. To really change. So fair. So fair. I still. I stood, like, the entire fourth quarter, I had such nervous energy. And then the one when I said when I got comfortable after the Saquon touchdown and they were up two scores. I sat down, and then they. And then the Rams scored, and I was like, look what happens.
B
Yeah.
A
I was like, see what happens when my nervous energy. Like, I sat down, I felt confident for, like, two seconds, and look what happens now.
B
You're going to stand.
A
So I had to go back to having nervous energy. But, no, it's good. I'm very excited. Commanders beating the Lions is a big upset. Commanders look really great right now. It's a divisional rival. You know, they're going to play in the NFC Championship, which I'm very excited for. I said I could not have been happier that the Commanders. Commanders and Eagles split games in the regular season. We won one, they won one. I was like, thank God. Because everyone knows beating a team three times. Very hard. Very hard. So they won the last one. We won the first one. Jalen got hurt the second time. They played. He was concussed, like, pretty early on in the game. So it should be. It should be pretty interesting.
B
It's going to be an exciting game.
A
I know. I know. I got to. I got to. Did the. The restraint that I. I was laughing because I was this close to replying to one of Marty's tweets yesterday about Jalen, and I was like, he is poking the fucking barrier. I. You know, we're. We're close, but. You're poking me. You're poking me.
B
He told me that a girl messaged him and said, did Ria allow you to post this? And I was like, okay, like, we need you to draw the line somewhere. As if I'm approving what he can and can't post.
A
Opinions are his sports opinions.
B
Like, I can't step in with people's sports opinions. You know what I mean? Like, we gotta draw the line somewhere.
A
You can't.
B
I can't be like, no, you can't say that. You don't think Jalen Hurts is a good quarterback because Fran likes him. Although in real life, he was not rooting for the Eagles. And I was like, no, we're rooting for the Eagles.
A
He's a Giants fan. Why would he be rooting for the Eagles?
B
And so we're sitting on the couch, and I was like, no, no, no, no. I was like, the Eagles need to win because, listen, I got to go to work with Fran tomorrow. And I was like, I need Fran to be in a good mood tomorrow, so we need the Eagles to win. And he was like, I. I understand that. He's like that.
A
No, no, that's cool and all.
B
He's like, He's.
A
I don't want. Right.
B
He's like, listen, we can have opposing opinions on this. I understand where you're coming from. Like, Fran being upset about this won't be good. And I was like, no, it won't be, but I can't sit there and monitor his social media posts. But I die laughing. I was like, I actually fudgeing. Love that a girl was like, did re approve this?
A
Well, it's just so funny. And of course, like, because Gia has no restraint. So she. And then, like, we're, like, sitting there. She's like, oh, you see Marty's tweet? He was like, yeah, I don't know. I was like, gee, he's been saying it all week on all the shows. I'm like, watching all them on Pick Central. They're all Giants fans.
B
Yeah.
A
And they're all like, mehmeh man, Jalen's not good. Meh, meh, meh. And I'm like, yeah, well, I'm like, they're not gonna. What? Why would they want to say anything positive about the Eagles? If it was flipped, I would be doing the exact same.
B
Right? And I feel like he, like, says something and then just goes about, da, da, da, da, da. Like, he, like, like, is literally the most, like, happy, positive person that he'll just, like, you know, tweet something out. And he's like. Like, it's like nothing ever happens.
A
He's like, no, yeah, I said that.
B
He's like, yeah, whatever.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I don't really. I don't really care that much. Just going about my day. And then he doesn't realize that it makes people lose their mind. This is what we talked about with the Yankees. I was like, you have to stop tweeting these things. And then I was like, you know what? You do you. You do you. But yeah, I get like, Giants, Eagles, whatever. You know, listen, I got no. I got no dog in this fight. I just root for you.
A
Yeah, I could have.
B
If it was Giants, Eagles, whatever. I don't even know I'd be rooting for you. Like, I don't.
A
Thank you. I appreciate that. No, I was. It is funny because I, like, I had the thought this morning. I was seeing some clips from just Philly Sports Radio, and the guy who's on literally five in the morning, like, taking call calls, and one of the callers is like, you know, Jay, like, Jalen's just not. Like, he's not good. And literally the. The. The host. I. I was laughing. I'm like, marty, are you calling from Haddon Township?
B
At 5am this morning, he snuck out of. He snuck out of our bedroom to go make some calls about how he's like.
A
I was like. And the guy is like me yelling back and party, like, does he win? He wins. Doesn't he win the game? Like, I was cracking up. I was laughing. It's true. But no, very exciting NFC championship, which I'm like, already nervous.
B
Are you going to fight Robbie Fox?
A
See, this is the thing. Like, I couldn't love Robbie Fox more and, like, hit, like, him, like, being so cute and like, dressing up his dog and like, he's. They're so excited, right? And I actually, I have a few very good friends that are commanders fans, and they're just like, I think it's going to be a great game. I'm very happy that it. That it ended up this way. I think it's. I think it's good for the NFC and good for the NFC east because it's been a conference that has just. I mean, the NFC always, like, everyone's always, like, the AFC is so much better than the nfc. The NFC east just divisionally has been not fantastic. So to have this be the nfc, NFC Championship game, I think is great. Will I be happy for Nate? No.
B
Okay.
A
You know, I'll pick and choose. I'll be happy for, like, my friends from D.C. that are like, yeah, I'll be happy for them.
B
Robbie's dog.
A
I'll be. I'll be happy for Robbie's dog right in her cute little, like, commander's gear. And Robbie, you know, I'll be happy for.
B
Very good.
A
But, yeah, no, it'll be. It'll be. It'll be a close one. I mean, it's. As far as, like, the drama goes, this is way better for inner office drama as well. And, you know, Rams commanders. I don't.
B
Doesn't really.
A
Yeah. I think if it was. If it was Rams, Lions. Yes. Because the whole golf Stafford team, you know, swap situation. So this, I think, is. It's going to be a great game. I'm. I'm very excited for it. So I'll be. I'll be stressed all week, so that'll be fun. That's how. That's how I will feel. But that pretty much, like, I. My entire weekend revolved around that, so. Didn't really do too much. So much television. It's like, I don't think my weekly watch report has been this long in a really long time. So I'm excited because there's a lot of good tv, a lot of good stuff on. Did you get your water back?
B
No, no, no, no, no. I had. I literally did nothing, absolutely nothing all weekend. Like, truly, like, the definition of nothing. Like, I just, like, we just sat on the couch all day long, cooked some new things, made bagels super, super, super easy, by the way. To make bagels. Two cups of all purpose flour, one cup of Greek yogurt, two teaspoons of baking powder. Boom.
A
Is Greek yogurt a typical ingredient in bagels? Greek yogurt can be used for.
B
Often it's not a typical ingredient, but it is used as a substitute often in things. You can use Greek yogurt instead of a lot of things. So I think people like Greek yogurt because it's, like, high protein. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they were fabulous. Like, they tasted delicious fresh. Like, really blown away by that. Yeah, shout out to Bryce Harper's video. Saw Bryce Harper's TikTok. And then TikTok got taken away. And I remember I was like, oh, my God, what were the ingredients? And we were able to make them.
A
Such a funny tweet about people being sad about, oh, my God, I gotta find it. People being sad about. About recipes like. Like TikTok being gone. And then they, like, can't. Can't get their recipes.
B
It is the place for recipes.
A
It really is. But it was just like. It was just like the way it was written, really. A lot of tiktokers are seriously too stupid to live. I'm sorry, I just. Someone say, where else am I going to find recipes? Recipes for food, Food recipes. Where else can you find recipes for food? Food recipes. It is funny because it has. I mean, we'll talk about it, but, like, it's. You know, we haven't had. We as a society functioned before TikTok. It hasn't been around for that long.
B
There's cookbooks you can just Google. You can just Google recipes.
A
It's just been such a shortcut for people.
B
And it's.
A
It's so accessible, so easy. But you made enchiladas.
B
I made enchiladas because Trent had posted enchiladas on his story like, a week or so ago. And Robbie and I were giving Trent shit about the enchiladas. We're like, there's no fucking way you made these enchiladas. And he's like, yes, I did. And he sent a picture of the recipe from a cookbook.
A
He used a cookbook.
B
And he.
A
Old traditional Trent.
B
Oh, yeah. All reliable. And he sent me over the recipe, and I've been wanting to make enchiladas since, but I honestly didn't really use that recipe. I kind of just like, read the recipe. I always do this when I cook is like, I'll read a recipe, but then I'll just make it my own. Yeah, and you said Joe does that too, and it stresses you out. But that's what I did that.
A
You just saying that already. Like, you just saying that, like, stressed me out.
B
No, but I think I just, like, I just have the touch when it comes to cooking that, like, I just. I'm like, this is what I'm gonna do to make it the way that I want it to be. And they were fucking delicious as well. Like 10 out of 10 enchiladas, in my personal opinion. Now if someone else were to try them, I don't know, but I Almost wanna make them again tonight. Like, I'm on an enchilada kick now. They were so good. But yeah, truly just what goes on.
A
The inside of an enchilada.
B
I did shredded chicken, but people could.
A
Do pork, like, or anything.
B
You could do beef you can do. But I did shredded chicken and that was fantastic. So really just a weekend of literally doing absolutely nothing besides having good food. We did try a new soup dumpling place in Jersey City, which I got.
A
Soup dumplings last night.
B
Oh, really? They were just delicious. Just delicious soup dumplings. So just good food and sitting around relaxing, getting some wedding stuff done, which I'm super pumped about having to.
A
Invites have got to go out soon.
B
Yeah, that's what I was doing last night. I had to retype all the like, names and names and stuff again because.
A
You have to like, do it as it appears on the envelope.
B
Right. And like, I'm having somebody help with the invitation. So like, I had to do it into like an Excel sheet is the whole thing. And wowzers. You know what I mean? Like, the names just started adding up and I was like, ooh, this is getting.
A
Not only does it start adding up, but you, like, you look at it, you look at it so many times because you're just like. Personally, for me, I was so afraid of spelling people's names wrong.
B
Yeah.
A
Or I still did. I still, like, there were still a few that I spelled wrong. And I was like, oh, we can't send this to them. No.
B
I'm afraid that the day of our wedding, we're gonna be like, dancing, having a good time, and then I'm gonna go, I forgot to fight. So. And so.
A
Right, right, right, right.
B
And it's gonna hit me and I'm gonna go, oh, my God, they're nice.
A
You're like looking around the room and you're like, there was supposed to be somebody else at that table. Right.
B
And I'm like, oh, fuck, I forgot to invite. I don't think that will happen. We've. We've triple checked it a million times. Matt and I sat there together going, this person, that person.
A
Yeah.
B
So hopefully that's all good. But we have, we have no hot water in floors of our building right now, including our floor that we live on. So we have no hot water and we have no heat in. On our floor in our apartment unit. So we're very cold right now.
A
But no, that's like, I'm telling you right now, call 91 1. Like, no, it's.
B
It's very cold, but it's 20 degrees outside. Let me tell you the shower situation, because it's not just, like, lukewarm water, whatever. Like this. The water is, like, ice cold. And the building notified us, and they were like, oh, we have to. We. After trying all weekend, because it was off since the hot water didn't work since Friday. So, like, Sunday comes around, we're like.
A
We got to cold showers.
B
We got to take a shower. Yeah. And the building notified us. They were like, we need to order a part for the boiler. Tomorrow's a holiday. Like, we're not sure if we're gonna be able to contact them tomorrow. Like, we don't know when this. When you're getting hot water. So we were like, we have to take. We have to take cold showers. So we were like, you know, like, pumping each other up. Like, we got this. We got this.
A
Like, you can do this.
B
You can do this. Like, we're gonna go one at a time. We're gonna stand there, ready. We're gonna warm the towels up in the dryer. Then we're gonna stand there ready to wrap each other in the towels. We got a blow dryer ready. So, like, one of us goes in. I went in first, and holy fuck. It was like. Like. Like needles going.
A
I'm not built for that. Like, the people who enjoy cold plunging couldn't be.
B
And. And listen, if it was, like, warm outside.
A
Yeah.
B
Different story. We don't have heat in our apartment.
A
No. It's freezing. So fucking cold.
B
Freezing in our apartment and then also freezing water.
A
And we're getting an arctic blast.
B
No. It's so crazy. And Matt's just standing there with the blow dryer on for when I get out of the shower like a dog, literally. And I'm like. And he hits the bl Already, just, like, flowing me down with the hot air. And then we switched, and he was like, holy fuck. I thought you were just being dramatic. He was like, this is the coldest.
A
That's so miserable.
B
It was, like, truly shocking. He was like, I thought that maybe I'd be able to handle it because, you know, like, guys like colder showers than girls.
A
Totally.
B
Like, we like to pump that water as hot as it can be. We want the steam where your ass is just red when you get out of the shower. Guys like a warm shower. Like, when Matt feels the temperature of my showers, he is blown away. He's like, you are gonna burn yourself.
A
Joe goes hot and then cold. Yeah, right?
B
Yeah. He's like, you are gonna burn your skin off without hot. This Is he likes a little, like, warmer? Like, lukewarm? He's like, I thought I was gonna be able to handle that, but just from the fact that we like different temperatures. No way. So now we're just. So we're just cold plunging at this point. But it was hilarious. Like, we. Like, you. We couldn't film it because we were.
A
You were in the shower.
B
Correct. In the shower. But it would have been hilarious. Like, we were gonna do pre and postgame interviews about the showers, but I was like, we just got to get this shit done. Like, I don't even. I don't even know. Like, I feel like I'm sitting because I couldn't shower this morning, because morning cold is a different kind of cold.
A
So that's what you're supposed to do it, I think. Yeah.
B
So shower. Yeah. To, like, jolt you awake. So we did it last night, and then this morning I was like, I can't. I can't do it this morning.
A
No, no, don't make me do it.
B
I just can. I just can't do it. And I feel filthy right now. I just feel like sitting in my fucking film.
A
You are a double shower. Like, you. You shower often?
B
I shower morning and night usually. So, yeah.
A
That's tough. The tonight stuff.
B
Yeah. Like, knowing that I'm getting back home and, like, I. It's like, might have to gear up again, buddy.
A
Yeah, Gear up.
B
Hopefully.
A
Well, I'd honestly, like, I would go. I would not even get in the shower. I would, like, wet a rag with soap and just wash the important part.
B
Right.
A
And like. And then just. And then just kind of like rinse myself off so that I have to put my whole body.
B
I know I didn't go to the gym yesterday, so I feel like when I go to the gym today, it will be like, I'll have worked up a sweat.
A
Yeah.
B
Before it. And maybe it'll better help like that. Maybe it'll feel better. More refreshing. But they sent out an email and they were like, we suggest boiling hot water.
A
Yeah.
B
We. We looked at each other. Like, we going to boil hot water and pour it on each other. Like, this is insane.
A
Yep.
B
But, yeah, that was a funny. A funny little tidbit of the weekend, but yeah. Ready to get into some topics? Yeah, we got some topics to discuss.
A
No. How was your. I was going to say concerts. Two nights.
C
Two nights. How was.
B
How.
C
What did you think?
A
I thought it was great.
C
Yeah.
A
I thought it was great. Funny enough, we. I think Joe and I sat in, like, the exact same spot that you sat on.
C
Really? I saw Fran and Joe on, like.
A
I saw walking out. Yeah. Wow.
B
Crossing paths.
C
Yeah. I actually didn't know who you were. Like, I don't. Maybe I had like, I did have a lot of drinks, but. Yeah, I just heard like someone say something and I'm. I never crossed my mind. That was Fran and Joe. I was like, who is that? And then they like finally, like, I didn't realize until you were like.
A
You, like, hugged your dad. What are you talking about?
C
No, no, like, that's when I realized I'm like, oh. Oh, it was dark.
B
You knew they were going to be there.
C
I just forgot. And I texted her like 10 minutes before that to be like, we're on our way.
A
Yeah, you did. And I literally wrote back to you. We're on our way. So not that crazy that we want to run into each other.
B
Fran, what are you doing here?
A
No, I thought it was great. I thought it was really cool. I thought the bass player was super cool.
C
Yeah, he's really cool.
A
We just had like a bad. The late. The late show. And it started late.
C
That's how it was last year.
A
You guys started late.
C
No, that's. I think he did the same thing last night.
A
Oh, it was just like the way it went from all of them maybe.
C
Because I had the 10:30 last night and then he didn't start until after 11.
A
Oh. Like he didn't start till closer to 11:45 for us.
C
Yeah. And he had an A late, late show last night.
B
He didn't start the show till 11:45.
C
And that was.
B
That's. How tired were you?
A
Oh, I was tired.
C
And then last night I felt bad.
A
I was like, I'm gonna. I'm gonna fall asleep before he even goes on stage.
C
I had to really exercise self control. Cuz they were like, they added a late show. A late, late show. So they're like, anyone who wants more, like you could stay here and like get a ticket, but it would have.
A
Gone to like 3:00am oh, and that was Sunday night.
C
That was Sunday. One more. Yeah, but it was. Last night was just really like surreal because I was sitting there with someone else from Barstool and his girlfriend and he was like, is that. He's like, look, look, like behind you, like, is that Andrew Dice Clay? And I'm like, oh my God, it is. And then when I walked in, I saw someone and I'm like, that looks like Hannibal Burris. But it just popped out of my mind. I'm like, no, that wasn't him. And then it was. He was sitting at the table behind Andrew Dice Clay. And I watched this whole thing happen. I felt like I was watching a Curb episode because they were camera guys. And he was like, maybe they're filming something. Cuz, like, this is so weird. But Hannibal, like, was trying to get Andrew Dice Clay's attention, being like. Like, tapping him on the back, like, hey, man, like, nice to meet you. Like, big fan. And Andrew Dice Clay was just, like, fully ignoring him, like, staring straight ahead, like, didn't turn his head. And he was like, hey, man, like. And he was like, to his girlfriend or whoever he was with, he's like, what the fuck? Like, and then Andrew Dice Clay is like, one of his camera guys or something noticed Hannibal and was like, I think Andrew Dice Clay just thought he was some random person.
A
Yeah, no, he was trying to find. I'm sure. And I'm sure he doesn't know who he is.
C
Then the guy's like, hannibal. And then that's when Andrew, like, kind of turned around and then tried to, like, save face. And Hannibal, like, was not having. He was like, now you're.
B
Fuck.
C
You're being fucking weird, man. Fuck you. Like, you're being. Fuck. It was. I was like, what is happening right now?
B
This is like, wow.
C
He's like, fuck you. Like, you're being fucking weird. You're a weirdo. And then it was just kind of, like, really awkward. And then, like, halfway through the show, Marcus King was like, we got to bring up, like, the most New York person here, like, Andrew S. Clay. So Andrew SK Came up and immediately was like, we have another. Like, thanks for having me.
A
We have another.
C
Made it worse because he's like, we have another comedian here. I think he got the wrong idea for me. Hannibal Barris.
A
Like, oh, no.
C
And I looked back like, he's right behind me. And he was just like, deadpan. And. And then Andrew S. Clay basically, like, did a set, like, while they were kind of just playing music behind him, like a quick five.
A
Yeah.
C
And then he did, like, a whole song. He. He sang as Elvis. It was really.
B
Was he funny?
C
He was funny. He was kind of doing, like, an inspirational speech. I was kind of like, yeah. Like, fuck, yeah. He's like, you know, when I start.
B
In the biz, what a twist.
C
Yeah, but it was really just, what.
B
A twistier night to witness that.
C
It was really weird to see.
B
But I don't.
C
And then they didn't say anything to me after each other. I looked right when the show ended, and I think they Were both staying for the late, Late show, and Hannibal immediately just, like, walked to the bar. Like, they never, like, interacted again, I guess.
B
I don't blame Hannibal. They're like, if you're being ignored, ignored, ignored. And then Andrew Dice Clay, all of a sudden, he learns who you are, and then he wants to be nice to you. It's like, well.
C
But then he did it. He blamed it on his. He had, like, these giant, like, old person glasses on, and he's like, I think Hannibal got the wrong idea, but, like, I just had eye surgery or something. Like, so, you know, that's why, like, I. You know, when you get older, you can't see people.
B
And he always wear glasses.
C
I thought so too. He was saying, like, he has his eyes.
B
We do the fucking.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, man.
C
That was.
A
It was. You had a way more entertaining crowd than I did on Thursday night. It got late. The table in front of us were like, these. My guess is they were in their late 40s, 50s, around that age. And they were so drunk and being so loud, like, it was so just like we were. Everyone was shushing them, like, ever. Like, they would. Like, when the music would get, like, really quiet. The one cup. Oh, my God, this woman was so drunk, and she's, like, turned to her boyfriend, whoever it was. Wow, this is so great. I'm like.
C
It's also, like, the smallest.
A
It's like, no, it's so every. You're on top of people. Like, you're literally on top of the person next to you. And everyone around would just go, sh. And they're like. And then, you know, like, when you just see that person who. Then they're looking around, they're like, oh, I guess we're being too loud. I'm like, oh, my.
B
They're still doing it.
A
They were brutal.
B
Brutal. Andrew Dice Clay. My parents saw Andrew Dice Clay, like, way, like, I think before I was born, and Andrew Dice Clay made a comment to my mom. My dad. Yeah. And said that my dad had bigger boobs than my mom.
A
Yeah, I have heard that story.
B
Yeah.
C
Is your dad, like, not, like.
B
No. I think my. Like, I. I think at first, but I think he, like, made up. I don't know. Like, my dad does not. Not like Andrew Dice because of that. They went to a show.
C
I always think of him from Entourage.
B
Yeah, we do the. Yeah.
A
Damn.
B
Well, I'm honestly glad you got to win. Were you, like, hyped that you got to witness that?
C
More. More so than, like, the. Him being on stage, which was Very cool and all that. And him like doing comedy, like just witnessing like that actual real interaction. So I, I'm. Because we were joking. I'm like, I could see Hannibal Burris, like in some future setting, like, right? Yeah. So fuck Andrew Dice Clay.
B
Hey, you could have seen magic being made.
C
That was. Yeah, I was just like, this is awesome. I like a TV show right next to me.
B
There you go.
A
Amazing.
B

Justin Baldoni is suing Blake Lively and ryan Reynolds for $400 million. And I know every time I like.
C
That'S why I've been like, that's what I was like. Why does it sound like she's like.
A
No, because I keep hesitating because I'm fully doing it. You're like half doing it. You did it twice. You have 400.
B
Well, I keep, I keep pausing because I'm not trying to do it, but like, it keeps trying to come out of my mouth.
A
Yeah.
B
$400 million.
A
Yeah.
B
I was a big Austin Powers fan. Yeah. That's obviously a shit ton of money. And more has been revealed in this lawsuit, including a bunch of texts from Blake Lively to Justin Baldoni. Now, there's a lot of standout text in this lawsuit. I think the one text that, you know, social, the social media is going to grab onto is this dragon text of Blake Lively saying that she is Khaleesi and she has two dragons that, that work for her, insinuating Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift and she loves her little monsters. And I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw this text she sent.
A
Allegedly, if you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you'll appreciate that I'm Khaleesi and like her, I happen to have a few dragons for better or worse, but usually for better because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. I believe that is a some sort of emoji. Can't really fully see it's Like a smiley emoji. You will too. I can promise you.
B
What? Excuse me.
A
Yeah, what?
B
Yeah, what is that text? First of all, I don't know if Blake Lively remembers how Game of Thrones ended right with that text message. Two Wells Adams had a video I thought was hilarious, him being like, imagine Taylor Swift seeing this and being like, bitch, I'm Khaleesi. You know what I mean? I'm not your little dragon.
A
Truly.
B
What the fuck is that text message? And we were talking about this and you said it to me, and I was like, you're spot on. People in Hollywood are weird. It just comes down to that. A lot of the times people in Hollywood are weird. And as much as, like, just operate out.
A
They operate like on a different.
B
No, they do. And as frequency. They do. And as much as you want to, like, look at a couple, like a Hollywood couple, before all of this, right before all of this happened, take all this drama out, when people looked at Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, they were like, oh, my God, we love them as a couple. We want to hang out with them. Like, they're so normal and funny. Like, da, da, da, da. They're not normal. Like, they're just not normal. Like, when you reach this certain level, I think the normalcy, it just gets sucked out of you. And you start talking like you're Khaleesi from Game of Thrones who turns evil by the way. Spoiler turns. Turns very evil. Spoiler then dies. So it's like, I.
A
Maybe she didn't watch Game of Thrones.
B
Yeah, like, she's like, if you ever.
C
Get around to it was having sex with her brother.
B
Like, if you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones. But Lively, you may have to do a rewatch of Game of Thrones. But besides that, the little dragon talk, I have two dragons that work for me. Like, I don't think going back to Wells video, I don't think Taylor Swift would like to be called, like, a little minion. Like, saying is, my little dragon is basically like, I have a little minion. No, I have a little minion named Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds.
A
Yeah, it ties back to and part of this lawsuit. It appears that this meeting that once again, that was had that everyone that they've talked about in different ways, where Baldoni really claims he was ambushed, I guess is maybe the right word for it. And after Ryan Reynolds did his whole spiel of whatever he did during that meeting, at a certain point, Taylor Swift made an appearance and they were, I think, discussing this rewrite the roof scene. And what had. You know, afterwards, Blake had said that it was Ryan that helped rewrite that scene. And allegedly, like, Taylor came in to just kind of sprinkle in, like, oh, it's better like, you know, it was just in support of whatever was, you know, Blake and Ryan were doing. And, you know, if I'm a swifty, I'm spinning the. Which I consider myself a swifty. I'm spinning that as. I mean, Taylor's a fantastic friend. Like, you know, she come. Blake comes calling like, hey, I need. I need your help right now. Taylor's like, sure, 100% for sure.
B
This doesn't take away her not being like this. This is a good friend.
A
It's just tough for Taylor to get pulled into this. Yeah. And. And involved in it in this way where it's like now. But it's like the way Justin is using it is that, like, Taylor was. Was like being weaponized against him basically. And perhaps that was. That was what she was trying to do. I just keep going back to the same thing that I keep saying over and over and over again, is that they're just like fighting different battles. I just don't, you know, it's. It's. Blake Lively's complaint is a sexual harassment complaint. Justin's complaint is she bulldozed him and took over the movie.
B
Mm.
A
You know, like. And he's using this of like, she bulldozed me to take over the movie and did all these things and blah, blah, blah. Here's all these examples which, you know, fair to try and really take away her credibility when it comes to her harassment claims, which I like is icky to me. I don't like that. I think she's just trying to discredit her as a person. Look at her texts of us arguing about a project or look at how she's talking to me here and all these things. That is not like, if his defense was, oh, here's an example of what she said didn't happen. But that's not like he's arguing a different thing. And now, granted, Blake does not come off great in a lot of these text message exchanges. A lot of what they were fighting for there was. First of all, he also alleges that Blake never read the book. And that was like a whole big. That was a whole big issue.
B
Yeah. It does feel like two very different things that they are fighting on.
A
Yeah. And that was Blake's. The lawyers response back after this was like, you know, page out of the handbook of just like trying To.
B
Yeah, no, they're fighting two different battles here, for sure. The thing about Taylor Swift is, like, yeah, like, that's her friend. She's gonna come in and help her friend.
A
Yeah.
B
It's, you know, Blake Lively being like, I have my dragons and whatever. Obviously does not look great like, that. That whole situation is gonna look great. But if you're Blake Lively and your friend is Taylor Swift, and you want Taylor Swift to come in and kind of hype you up and that. That's a good friend right there. It's just sort of the way, like, these text messages are written. Do not. Do not come across great. Do not come across in her favor in that aspect. Once again, like you said, totally different thing when it comes to the sexual harassment complaints. Yeah. I think Justin is trying to use these text messages to prove something else. You know, there's pictures and images of him and his family sitting in the basement of the premiere.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, that. That whole thing. And did you see the thing about the spray tan, too?
A
Yeah.
B
Like, Blake was saying that she thought she smelled bad from the spray tan, and Justin was like, no, you smell good.
A
Right.
B
And then it turned into something else, which. I think these two just fucking hate each other. Yeah. I think they. I think they despise each other's guts. I. I think that they are. We're never on the same page.
A
No.
B
And I think that they're fighting two different battles right now.
A
I think they just. They clear have two very different. They just. They feel like they come from two different worlds almost in just the way they work, the way they think, the way, like, it's just all. And they. They clash. And this is 100. I mean, now. And we. It's been said since a lot of these complaints, but it's just. It is a. It is a battle of. Of Justin trying to save his image, which, I mean, plenty of people, like, are totally pro Justin and using these text messages to show. Oh, well, how can her claims be true when she's texting me when here's these texts of, like, us working together, you know, But I don't. That's not gonna personally win me over. Is, like, seeing texts of when they're early on, like, working on the project and them, like, trying to hype each other up. And, like, I think we're gonna make a great movie together. And I. You know, we're putting all this. It's gonna be really effective. And they're, like, kind of sharing that.
B
Yeah.
A
Back and forth with each other. I'm like, okay, so at the beginning, things are probably okay.
B
And that doesn't go along with the sexual harassment complaints. Like, that is a totally separate thing. Like, that has.
A
And there is a world that, like, yeah, there is a world where, you know, you. These things may happen and you do continue to try and work. And, you know, like, it's. It's. Sometimes something happens. You don't.
B
You.
A
It doesn't even process in your brain, maybe till.
B
For sure.
A
Till weeks, months later, where you're like, wow, that was really. Like, that was not okay. And you're. You try and push through it or all, you know, all these different things. But. But there's tons of different text messages that are in here a lot. Like, again, going back to Blake, reiterating that she has her friends, they're so close, part of her creative process. Everything that she touches, they touch. Everything they touch, she touches. It's just a collaborative effort When. When you work with Blake. There is also apparently something in here that Blake allegedly joked that Justin needed a nose job. Oh, yes. Baldoni's complaint says that he has, quote, publicly expressed insecurities about his nose and that her derogatory comment about his face is also captured on camera. The complaint adds. Beldoni, rather than write down a list of grievances against, Lively brushed it off and moved on with the scene. In an alleged text message from February 2023, Lively told Baldoni she wanted to get fit and look banging, since the movie requires a certain aesthetic from the actors to make it, quote, commercially viable. Her lawyer said in their statement after. After his lawsuit, their response to sexual harassment allegations. She wanted it. It's her fault. Their justification for why this happened to her. Look what she was wearing. In short, while the victim focuses on the abuse, the abuser focuses on the victim. That's part of what Blake had said back then. Blake Lively allegedly named a themed cocktail at the premiere party after Ryle's character. Like, this is where it's starting to get into. Okay, now you just. The strategy here is make Blake look like a bad person. You know, it's like, oh, she named a cocktail after Ryle. He's an abuser. That's tone deaf. She shouldn't have done that. Okay, fair, fine. Maybe she shouldn't have done that. What is that in. What is that proving in your. You know, I just. The whole thing, that's kind of where it feels. But yes, there's the photos of being down in the. In the basement during the premiere, which happened at the Lincoln Square amc. I actually did See something that Bethenny Frankel went, you know, she had went to this premiere and she had made a TikTok about it, like not that long ago and was like, yeah, you know, it was weird. Like Blake's people were kind of weird to me. And there was time in between the carpet and the movie and she was like. And that was really weird to me. Like, that never happens. I will say I've been to one movie premiere and that happened. So I don't know if that's maybe like something that happens at that specific location. But when I went to the Anyone but yout premiere, they. I was not on the carpet. But the carpet.
B
You should have been.
A
Yeah, the carpet was. Was earlier because I had ran into Melissa and Joe Gorga and they had walked the carpet and they were like, oh my God, we've been here for hours. Like, we walked the carpet. We had so much time to kill in between. We went to dinner, now we came back for the movie. So maybe Bethany hasn't been to one like that. But I don't know if that's like completely out of the norm, trying to like say that that was because of the drama, that there was time in between. I don't really know. I don't really know if that was the case with this whole thing.
B
It feels like this, right? Like, Blake Lively, she puts out things that have happened with her and you read them, you go, well, that's shitty. That's shitty that she felt that way. Shitty that that happened to her. And then you read the things Justin Baldoni's putting out and you're like, well, that's shitty of Blake Lively to do. But they're not the same fight. Like they're. One is about controlling a movie, taking over a movie, making a movie, all of those things. The other one is about feeling violated.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean? So it's like they're not the same.
A
I agree. That's how I feel about it. And now, of course, there are, there are people that believe that Blake is doing this whole thing and the whole her whole argument is solely to save herself and like try as like a last ditch effort to make Justin look bad and save her image after everything that happened with the movie. And that's kind of that. I mean, that's, that's the argument Justin's trying to make, right? Like, that's. That's the argument Justin's team is going to try and make. If they do, if it does proceed, and if he does get a jury trial, everything that he wants to happen in this situation. But it was like it went on to continue to say that, like he felt like it was so publicly it was so going against Blake and Ryan that they had demanded that Justin issue a public apology to try and save face for them. And then he didn't. And then now this is what's happened.
B
It just feels icky to like discredit what Blake Lively is saying about how she felt.
A
Yeah.
B
But you can also acknowledge the movie making part of it.
A
Blake, he got bulldozed for sure.
B
Blake does not look great in that situation at all. Like the, like none of that looks great, like really at all. So I think there's two.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, two different things going into this situation.
A
Yeah, I agree. So, I mean, it kind of wraps up and he says when Justin refused to use the statement he claims in the complaint that the gloves came off. And the allegation at the crux of his lawsuit. The high powered couple then plotted to publicly attack Baldoni by falsely claiming that he had sexually harassed her as a way to, quote, destroy him. Lively, for her part, has alleged in a complaint that Baldoni hired crisis PR to launch a retaliatory smear campaign after she came forward on set with onset misconduct claims her lawyer had said. This is an age old story. A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. They suggested that Baldoni's legal strategy has been to threaten litigation to overwhelm the public's ability to understand that what they are doing is retaliation against sexual harassment allegations. Yeah. So I will continue to see what happens. I still find a lot of.
B
You.
A
Know, Blake's claims against him that it wasn't. If you were to read that and believe what is in that complaint, she. There are other people that had issues with him. You know, it wasn't like it was just her. So I feel like that is very telling to me in that scenario as well. But it's a massive save face PR battle right now of like where we need to win back the public eye. And he did this and I did that and he did this and I did that. And here's text where, where he's not great and here's texts where she's not great and just it's. I mean, you know, the whole thing was a disaster. The whole process of making this movie was a dubster fire.
B
These two must really, really, really regret ever making this movie. Oh, like they, they wasn't even a good movie apparently. No, they, like, they got. I actually didn't think the movie was.
A
Bad, to be honest. I Same. Yeah.
B
Like, I thought it was a good movie.
C
Not good enough to warrant all this.
B
Like, it was, you know, like, they're probably like, why did we even do this? But when I first saw those messages from Blake Lively, I was like, are these photoshopped? Like, I just. I cut. I was like, what is happening? Yeah.
A
No, I mean, my little mom calling yourself Khaleesi. No, you just can't calling herself Khaleesi.
B
These are my little monsters. Monsters.
A
No.
B
What? No, like, it's just imagine receiving, like, imagine you receive that message. Like, how do you respond to that text? Yeah, I'd be like, ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, ha ha. You know, like, I would just be like, lmao. Like, what?
C
I would definitely screen. I feel like you screenshot and send to all your friends being like, this. This person's crazy.
B
Oh, that's an immediate screenshot. And send to your group chat. Like, can you believe what this person just said? Like, wild. Really, really wild.
A
Yeah, there's a bunch of texts in there that I just definitely was like, oh, for sure.
B
I mean, that. That wasn't just the only one, but that was the one that really. When I saw well's video being like. Of Taylor Swift being like, you're Khaleesi.
A
Yep.
B
Crazy craziness.
A
So once again, I mean, the saga continues. Every time we talk about them, it's like, all right, we'll see what happens next.
B
Right?
A
Because there's always something. I mean, even last week, too, it was. Justin had. Justin's team had asked Disney to, like, save paperwork or footage or something. I don't know what. I didn't do enough digging into that part of it of what was going on when Ryan was filming Deadpool. Wolverine. There is now they're saying that the nice. The nice pool character was based off of Justin. And then this deleted scene, I guess, was going viral of. Because it was like, oh, it seems like it could be him. And there was one line about, like, I. I'm gonna butcher it, but something about just, like, having a podcast and just kind of. I don't know, I want to say, like, weaponizing feminism in some way. That was just like, not. I don't. I'm butchering that. That's not. That's not the exact line of what it was. But it was the mention of the podcast that really was like, all right, now we're really putting it over the edge of who this this joke is about. So they were also using that as a way of, like, oh, he. How could he have done this? Blake? And now Ryan's, like, making a joke about him as a person. Blah, blah, blah. I. I find that, like, that's very much Ryan's humor in a way, too, of, like, making fun of other people, which is, you know, not great, but. Yeah. I don't really know what. What fully comes out of that, but seeing the nice pool, like, lines and everything, and the man bun and the whole thing, and they, you know, they're filming the movies at the same time. It was just like, doesn't help your. Doesn't help your case either, really.
B
I will say the pictures of all them, like, sitting in the basin in the premiere.
A
Oh, tough.
B
Tough.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, that was not, like, that's tough.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I mean, there's Are. There's other examples of texts of, like, other producers being like, oh, it's. I mean, she's completely taken over everything.
B
It seemed like she really. You know, and, yeah, he was the. He was the director.
A
Yeah.
B
And the main actor.
A
Yeah.
B
So, you know, he is playing it.
C
Off really well when he's talking about the basement thing being like, you know, that's not like, we were just happy, like, with my family down there. Like, it's not. It's not about the fame and, like, the stardom and all that stuff. That's not where we're in this business. Like, he's really leaning into, like, first.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
It's a little bit about the. You know.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean?
C
Yeah.
A
I just.
C
You can't tell me you didn't want to be on the carpet.
A
I mean, I. For. From the beginning of all this, even, like, pre. Pre. This whole situation, I was not buying everything that. That he was selling. So I don't. It's. It's. But granted, like, boy, did he get put through the fucking ringer. It appears working with Blake and. And her dragons.
B
Her dragon.
C
That is a Khaleesi move to just put him in, like, the dungeon, right?
B
No, like, seriously, like, I. Yeah. I banish you to the dungeon like that. It's. It's wild. It is. It is wild.
A
Is wild. It totally. So I. Like, we said what. We'll see what happens next.
B
We shall see. The Kardashian trailer was released. New Kardashians. Yeah. Hulu. Big takeaway for me was not just the Lamar stuff, but Kim was apparently dating somebody, so hush, hush. Which I'm kind of happy about, because now I'm roped in to watching this new season because for a while, with the Kardashians, it would be like we got everything all over the media all the time. We knew what they were up to. So when you watch the show, you're like, this already happened. This already happened. We already saw this play out. Da, da da da da da. We don't really care. Now with this, you're like, kim was dating somebody. It seems like she's making a closet space for them, and it's getting fairly serious. But we haven't heard a single mention of her dating somebody. I mean, was she dating Odell? Right. Like, that was a little thing that was mentioned. Maybe that has to do with it. I don't know. But now I'm intrigued, and now I'm roped into watching the next season.
A
I agree. I. I did not watch the last season, like, really at all. I feel like I always will watch, like, the first few episodes, and then maybe if I just kind of like, forget. But I will say this. The trailer roped me in a little bit more than past seasons. It just felt like there was maybe some other stuff going on. Not just the last season. Felt more just like sisters not getting along in certain aspects and, like, ganging up on. Like, there's, you know, Chloe just trying to, like, live her life.
B
Yeah.
A
And it just didn't. It just didn't pull me in as much. Felt like maybe a little bit more Kendall and Kylie, which I like. I love watching them. I like seeing them. And, yeah, definitely intrigued by what's going on with Kim. And there is what looks to be some sort of sit down with Chloe and Lamar on camera. I don't know if it's just to kind of some sort of closure conversation or whatever, or if they're just. I don't even know. I honestly don't even know. I just feel like that's why it's so interesting now. I'm like, what are they? Is it his podcast?
B
Like, for ratings?
A
Yeah.
B
In my opinion, the Lamar thing, I don't think it has anything to do with any sort of relationship. I think it's like, let's bring Lamar in. It'll get the ratings. People loved Lamb. Lamb and Chloe in our show and the whole thing.
A
Yeah.
B
And you see Chris crying. She was the love of her life.
A
I mean, remember, Lamar and Caitlyn were supposed to do a podcast. They never.
B
They could have been.
A
I don't think they. It's like. It's just like he never talks.
B
He never talked And I don't think.
A
These two ever talked either on their.
B
It could have been number one. Lamar and Caitlyn Jenner together could have taken the world by storm. Maybe they lacked the confidence to follow through with it after the crowd reaction of them doing a podcast. But I think we. I think we said, like, we 100% listen.
A
Keeping up With Sports.
B
You know what would be the number one podcast collaboration? Lamar Odom, Caitlyn Jenner. Fill in the blank. A collaboration. Oh, Lamar Odom, Caitlyn Jenner, and Armie Hammer. Oh, my gosh. A collab of those two podcasts coming together would really shake up the world. You know, that would really get the people talking. But I. I think they never post.
A
Like, the Keeping Up Sports podcast is one post from March 20, and. And, you know, they're on the. They're on the mics and everything, and they're talking. Keeping up with Sports.
C
Coming soon, this has Kris Jenner.
A
Subscribe wherever you find your favorite podcast in YouTube. March 20, 2024. That's the only post has ever had.
B
Damn. Cliffhanger.
A
Maybe Lamar's coming in to convince Chloe to let them do the podcast.
B
Yeah, talk about a cliffhanger. Well, didn't Chloe start her podcast? She did on. On X. Twitter.
A
Yeah, it's. It's the first one with Scott. Came out, like, the beginning of this year, right?
B
Because they talked about how people, like, always joke that they should date, but then if they did date, they would get destroyed. They would never actually date 100%.
A
I mean, if they dated, people would be like, this is disgusting.
B
This is disgusting. For sure. It would be obviously disgusting.
C
You think Courtney would be, like. Like, really mad?
A
I'd imagine so. I mean, no, but I also feel.
C
Like she's so, like, I'm with Travis. I don't care. Like, that's not.
A
No, I. I don't. I don't care how aloof she appeared like I. Or what, like, sorry, you're not. And even if she tried to sell us on, like, being okay with it. No chance. I wouldn't believe that that's the father of her. Yeah, no, that's, like, that would just.
B
Be so, so, so bizarre.
A
On, like, I didn't, like, sit there and watch Scott and Chloe kiss in front of you.
B
Like, that would be so inappropriate on different levels. Like, that's just crazy. But the Lamar stuff, I think is just a ratings thing. And they got me, like, I'm like, oh, I want to watch Lamar and Chloe talk.
A
Seeing Chris cry, That's a lover of life.
B
I know. And honestly, it did feel that way when they met 100.
A
It was a whirlwind fairy tale romance that was freaking crumbled to the ground.
B
And unfortunate, unfortunate drop for Lamar Odom. But yeah, this, this trailer looks good. This, this trailer. I want to know who Kim's dating. It looks good. More on the Matt James and Rachel Kirkconnell situation. Now, everyone's dying to know what happened because there's so much speculation going on. But Rachel's sister has commented a couple times on people's posts where someone wrote like, oh, would they break up 15 hours ago? And then he posted about it, wrote, try three.
A
Yeah.
B
So it seems like Rachel and Mappo.
A
Was that definitely her account?
B
That's what people were saying.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
You know, I, I don't know. I know definitely her account, but people are saying it's her. Yeah, try three. So people are like, oh my God, they broke up. And then he just posted about it, like within a couple hours. Father God, you know, not, not good.
A
Not good. And now it's like, I, I feel bad because it's just, it's Internet rumor galore. People now been running with a report from the sun, which is like wow. The sun has something to say about Matt and Rachel.
B
Like, guys, I think everyone has something to say. My friends have been texting me who literally, my. My friends do not pay attention to what feels like anything on the Internet. Sometimes, like, they really just. I'm like, that's good for you guys.
A
Yeah.
B
But how badly they want to know what happened with Matt and Rachel, and I'm like, I'm with you. Like, I. I, too, Father God, want to know.
A
Yeah. Yeah. And it's just. It's a situation where, like, this. The sun rumor was that Rachel had basically given him ultimatum of, like, you know, proposed by the end of the year. He. He did not. And she broke up with him. And this, like, post could have been a retaliation.
B
Like, Like, I'm solidifying, like, oh, you're.
A
Gonna break up with me? I'm gonna be the one to. To announce it and say that we broke up, and that would be just a dirty move. And. Yeah, and that feels bizarre, too, but at the same time, like, the. I would not be surprised if it was, like, a commitment thing.
B
He went on the show, though, in which you get engaged at the end.
A
Yeah, but, you know, forget that he was. That he. That he was not on that show to get engaged.
B
I know.
A
Like. Like, he, like, he picked Rachel and was like, ooh, let's date. I know.
B
I know that. But you have to understand, like, for people watching or Bachelor fans, they're like, but he went on the show to get engaged. And so everyone's like, well, shit, shouldn't he want to get engaged? Mind you, I think if he cannot commit to Rachel by now, then she should get the fuck out. Because if. If Rachel wants to settle down, get engaged, get married, and they're four years in, and at the age that they're at, it's an appropriate age to get engaged to get married. And he still is not sure.
A
Yeah.
B
Is bizarre to me. Like, that's bizarre. Like, I. I. If this is what happened. If Rachel was like, do this or I'm done. I don't blame her for her standing up for herself. If she's like, I want the commitment and you're not committing to me, I'm out 100%. We.
A
And we really. And we don't know. We don't know.
B
We don't know at all.
A
But, like, 100. Like, I like it. It doesn't compute in our brains because Rachel's such a catch that, you know, I don't get it.
B
So at the end of the day, there's some People out there that do not want to get married.
A
Yeah, yeah. Deep. Like, they just have their. It's their own problem, is their own commitment, and that is totally fine.
B
Even people who don't have commitment issues just don't want to get married. Like, that is totally fine. Up to you. But you have to be honest about that with your person. If you don't see that happening. And if that's not the case. And he kind of strung her along and, oh, it's going to happen because he was commenting on people's stuff like, when is she going to be the fiance? And he would write back soon. So it's like, if you're writing that publicly and this is all speculation, by the way, I'm just, like, going off rumors right now.
A
Yeah.
B
But if you're writing publicly and someone's saying a fiance, whatever, and he's like, soon. But then behind closed doors, he's telling Rachel, not yet. Not yet.
A
I'm not.
B
Rachel's comments be like, why are you acting one way publicly? But then behind the scenes, you're acting another way. Done with that. So totally, you know, don't know what happened there. But if that's the case, then I. Then good for Rachel. People were really like, I'm out of here.
A
People were really confused about where they were, too. I know that that's been like, were they in London? Were they in Tokyo? There was a. Somebody took a picture of them in. In Japan, like, on January 13th or something like that. So then it was just like, people are trying to piece together, like, where they were and what they were. They were like, still posting London content. I was like, guys, they post on. They.
C
Oh.
A
Have always posted stuff on.
B
Until I delay. So even their Instagram stories are on a delay.
A
Yeah, for sure. But, yeah, I don't. I don't know. I think that, like, we may not have answers on this one for. For a while.
B
Right. I think until Rachel talks about it publicly. Yeah. There won't really be answers on this. A lot of speculation. It does suck when there's speculation of rumors because I'm like, all sudden, I'm getting riled up about Matt James right now, for sure. And I don't know anything that happened.
A
No, I.
B
But I'm just like, you know, what if that's what happened.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
And, you know, going off the sister's life, if he's posting that three hours after and, you know, being like, I'm solidifying this breakup with this post, then, you know, you go off that and you get A little riled up, but I'm sure one of them will talk about it eventually and we'll find out, we'll find out more. But people are gonna keep speculating every day. People really wanna know what happened.
A
Yeah.
B
Moving on. The TikTok ban that happened this weekend, obviously, huge. Huge.
A
The ban around the world for 12 hours.
B
There's gonna be documentaries about this 12 hour ban like you wouldn't believe. On Netflix, Hulu, they're gonna do like fyre fest documentary battle again between Netflix and Hulu about this ban. So this has been ongoing for months, years now about the government banning TikTok. It started getting more real as of recent, where people are like, we started getting dates like January 19th, you know, well, now it's January, January 19th, Sunday, January 19th. TikTok's gonna be banned. January 19th, TikTok's gonna be banned. If this goes through, TikTok's gonna Be banned. And people are like, not sure if this is real. We're hearing that, you know, maybe it won't happen. Maybe it will happen. If Trump comes in, he wants to say he wants TikTok to stay.
A
I mean, he made it pretty clear that it wasn't gonna be, you know, the whole weekend. I just, I was, I couldn't believe the amount that everyone was really losing their shit. Yeah. Over something that, I mean, I guess there would have been a percentage of a chance that like Trump would have been like, oh, no, like, nevermind. But pretty early on in the weekend, he was making statements of like, I've spoken to people and I will most likely be extending and giving them the 90 day extension and it'll be back. And like going through the proper channels. So I'm like, I don't. We're out here crying all weekend. And I was like, guys, I really, I'm telling you right now, like, it's gonna be back. And now whatever the future of the app is for sure still up for debate of what goes on from here. But the like, exposing yourself for lying, being an influencer and being like, oh, by the way, like that, what I did back then, those were lies. Posting like old shit that, like, is drama or getting you in trouble or whatever. And then being like, okay, the app's gonna be gone. It's like, it wasn't. No, it wasn't gonna be.
B
And, and like you said, like, it was. If you were reading anything, anything, it was like, no, it's probably gonna come back on Monday. Like, even if it's gone for a day.
A
Like, I thought Monday. I thought I put the over under 5 o'clock on Monday. It was Sunday at noon.
B
Yeah. No, it was like. It was like, it's gonna come back on Monday. That was pretty clear. Once it was announced that the CEO of TikTok was going to the inauguration today, it was like, oh, he's going to the. Oh, this is going to be like, whatever. So people were exposing themselves and like, listen, for the ban of TikTok. It is horrible that a lot of, like small businesses and people who have created businesses were going to just straight up lose their jobs out of thin air. Like, that is. That is horrible. People have worked for years and years to build businesses on that app, build careers on that app. And I'm not just talking about influencers, like, even take influencers out of it. There are people with businesses that like, we're gonna lose a lot of money and that really, really sucks. And I can understand where the fear came in. You work so hard and then all of a sudden it's taken away from you. That totally sucks. On the other side of that, there will be documentaries about this and the first clip that will be shown will be a clip of Alex Searle going, can you guys hear me? And it's just her mouthing the words and the sound is not there.
A
Yeah.
B
With the dramatic end, Spencer Pratt. With Spencer Pratt and Bethenny Frankel of the live cutting out when everyone lost their TikTok and it just cuts out on their live. That is how this documentary will start.
A
Yeah.
B
And then everyone jumping over to reels being like, can you hear me? Can you hear me? I'm on reels now. I'm on reels. It was like, like, we have to, like, take a step back as a society and just laugh at how absurd that all looked. Once again, horrible for people to lose, but like, holy. It was a little jarring to see some of the things that were happening and like you said, like, the exposing of secrets. I saw people showing their wedding dresses because they thought no one was gonna see their wedding day. They're showing their wedding dresses. Like, since TikTok's going away and I'm getting married in March, I have to show everyone my wedding dress because you guys aren't going to see it. What? What? What are you talking about? I don't know. What are you doing? Like, that is the stuff that I don't get. Like, I, I get the other. Like, oh, my God, I'm going to lose my job. I do not get sharing your secrets with the world or sharing Things because you think people are gonna see them. I'm like, what the fuck is going on? One that, you know, was a personal one. Dance Moms, Kenzie Ziegler. She, by the way, cutest little kid when she was on Dance Moms had the funniest little confessionals. I just want to sit on my couch and eat chips. She said none of that was real.
A
Yeah.
B
And she didn't say any of that. It was all scripted.
A
Yeah. You know what?
B
Probably, if I thought a little bit could have probably said, you know, that's all scripted. It's, you know, confessionals, whatever. I could have gone without knowing that information.
A
Yeah. You know what I mean?
B
Just certain things I could have gone without knowing.
A
Sure. The trend was funny. For some people who, like, used it more as a joke.
B
I laughed at Kikinan.
A
Yeah, that was funny.
B
And for people who didn't see kicking and said I was not there for the right reasons.
A
Funny, funny and, and. But then there are some who are like, oh, oh, no. Like, that's what your entire online Persona is based off of. The girl who faked the workouts. Yeah. Like, yeah. Why would you expose yourself? And then it's like the whole. She put out a whole, like, try and explain. Why would you like. Well, obviously, like, I wasn't. I was just filming them because obviously I couldn't be doing the whole workout the whole time. I don't know. It was, was. It was weird. And there were like really like other people who are known on Tick Tock for like one certain thing that were like, oh, that was like faked or whatever.
B
Why would you even do that in the first place? Like, what possesses you to even fake your workouts to film and then put out there and then be a workout guru to just fake? Like, I do not understand.
A
I actually did laugh. I. And this is whatever. But I saw one girl and I didn't even see the original Tick Tock. I just saw one girl post, like, literally crying, being like, oh, my God, I can't believe my favorite, like, workout influencer has a bbl. And I went. And I, like, I just looked at. I looked at the. I did not know who this person was or who the person she was talking about was. And I went and looked this Australian influencer and I clicked on her profile and I went, oh, honey. I mean, do you have eyes? Like, you're like, you. You tell like, you did not. And then I went back to the comments and people were like, you did not believe that. You do not believe that woman's ass was real. Like. Like what?
B
Like, no, I mean, funny.
A
It was. It was a absolute whirlwind this weekend. Of. Of. And then I left because to Alex Earl's like, then she. When she came back, she posted. She's like, I can't believe I was fucking crying all weekend. Like, I posted again.
B
Which totally respect. Like, you can, like, laugh at yourself after all that happens. Like, totally respect that. Like, I can understand building your whole platform and you build your businesses and your. And it gets taken away from you and you're like, holy. What? Like, what. What's gonna happen now? Someone like Alex Earl was always going to be okay because she has those followers have followed to other platforms. There are Tick Tockers that have built a following on Tick Tock that it hasn't really crossed over to Instagram or YouTube or other platforms.
A
Those are the people I was like, oh, that's. That's tough for the people that, like, you go to their Instagram, you're like, okay, you. You still, like, you're. You don't have 100 followers on Instagram, right?
B
You still got your following. But no, for the people who built it on TikTok and you see it all taken away 100%. Getting upset about that.
A
Got emotional. I'm not gonna lie. I did get a little emotional of Alex Earl's get. She did make like, a goodbye compilation of all her, like, get ready with me. Get ready. It was like different, like, cuts of her saying, get ready with me. And I was like, damn.
B
Yeah, she was always gonna be okay. But she rose for sure. She rose to fame from TikTok, so she was upset about that. But there were some ridiculous actions taking place. There were. There were some ridiculous reactions when it comes to, like, just people on the app that were like, what am I supposed to do in my life now? Like, I have nothing else to do. And it's like, well, we. What did. What did we do as kids before Tick Tock? You know what I mean? We, you know, went outside and we read books and we did all these things, and it just isn't happening anymore. And I feel like there's really not a good balance in a lot of people's lives. But on the other side of that, there were a lot of people that were talking about how Tick Tock did help them in other areas of their life, which, you know, made me feel sad for them. Like, people who have felt lonely, they don't have a lot of friends, and they feel like when they go on Tick Tock, like, It's a place for them to feel like they belong and things like that, which. That breaks my heart. And it's like, then you feel, you feel bad for those people as well. Of course. Or for people who have struggled with different things in their life where they've learned something from TikTok and that has helped them implement it in their life and that has helped them, which, you know, are things that, that happen. It's just the, the other side of it, the dark side of it and where people are so, so, so, so, so addicted to the app. And it's not about it helping them, they just are addicted to it.
A
100. It's. It's the, it's the bright and dark side of, of social media. And TikTok is a perfect example where, yes, people have created some beautiful communities and have built their platforms and shared their stories and it really, like, made an impact on people's lives. And that is, that is amazing. But, you know, there is the other side of. And it's not just TikTok but it. But for this younger generation, it is TikTok. Like, that's what it is for them is like constantly glued to the phone, glued to TikTok, watching every post, every video. Like, even just seeing people who are like, the amount of times I just pressed the app when it wasn't working because, like, it's just an instinct to be on there. Like, just for your brain. Like, you know, that's, that's not great either. And people, it's. But it is. I don't know. The whole thing fucking stinks. The high heavens. Also, like, sorry, like, not to rant about this part of it, but like, they. The beginning of the weekend, it's like, oh, it'll probably, you know, Trump's gonna come in and quote, unquote, save the app, you know, and the Biden administration said, like, we're not doing anything. Like, we won't take. It's moving on to the next chapter here. So it's like, really, if ByteDance just didn't do anything like there, no action was going to be taken against them. But they chose to not only go dark, go dark early, put out a message like, oh, we're working with President Trump. And then like, oh, we're. We're still working. And then they bring the app back literally Sunday at noon and be like, thank you. We were like, president, we're confident. President Trump.
B
And all the messages that were coming.
A
Up, everybody gets on their phone as soon as you open the app. That's what pops up and that's what you get.
B
So like that's the message that they're sending out there.
A
So like it just felt really, really manufactured like that that plan was concocted of. Oh, you know, it's, we'll go dark. We'll go dark and have everyone freak out and well, you'll see everyone's gonna lose their.
B
Yeah. And they did go dark early. They went for the time that they.
A
Said it was supposed to be January 19th. It goes, it's 10:30pm Eastern.
B
People are getting their last licks in.
A
If you're on the west coast, you know that's 7:30 on, on Saturday that people were not able to get on the app for sure. And now it's back and you know, Trump has said that he will give the 90 day extension because it's still, we're still not really working with a TikTok ban. We are working with a really an ultimatum that ByteDance has been given to sell their part of TikTok in the US part of TikTok and they now Trump is saying like we were working towards having a 50% ownership of TikTok in the US where we can work on some kind of agreement where it is not a national security risk. And if not, he's still basically saying if they can't come to that, it is still a national security risk. But he's confident that they will get to that point and find the right buyer and you know, we'll see who that buyer is. But I won't be surprised if it's like somebody who, you know. Exactly. It's like, oh, Trump, thank you, Trump. And we saved this and he did that. And now so yeah, and 100% people are right to say that like this could be. The app could definitely change and that's for sure possible. If it does, when it, if it does have, you know, that 50% buyout and everything that happens. But for right now, like, yeah, they're gonna, that, that'll be extended. And I'm, I do not doubt that they will find somebody because it does seem like they're. That I don't think Trump would be making these statements if he hasn't gotten some reassurance. We can't have from ByteDance that they are gonna come to some kind of agreement because ByteDance is, the whole thing is like they put their foot down of like we are not selling. They have, they, they want to protect their algorithm. They have this sophisticated algorithm that nobody, you know, that's, everyone's complaining about how Much reels fucking blows. And they. And. And that's where they're at. So I just feel like at a certain point now that he's. He's not saying all the stuff of. It isn't setting himself up for. Look how I saved TikTok, right?
B
We. We can have. We can't have Elon owning all the social media.
A
No, no, no, we cannot.
B
We can't.
A
We cannot because we cannot.
B
I mean, there is no.
A
No.
B
There is no rhyme or reason on that X app. No, there's not. There is. No.
A
No.
B
Like, there are no laws on that app.
A
No.
B
You know?
A
Nope. No. And it's. It's. That's what I'm saying. Like, the app could change things. Could, you know, TikTok. Whatever. Then it's. It's. It's being used for. For different things. People are afraid of what it could be used for in the. In the national security department. And. And all that was like, okay, well.
B
Other countries were just, like, laughing at us all weekend. Like, there were like, I saw a bunch of things from people like, like, other influencers were posting. Like, people come, like, DMing them from other countries, being like, I'm in Australia or I'm in the UK and we can't believe this is happening to you guys. And you're just like, what is going on? Side note, Remy Bader posted on her story that she deleted the app off her phone. And I gotta be honest, I was just shaking my. I just.
A
I saw a lot of people say.
B
And I was like, oh, my God.
A
I saw a lot of people say they deleted it. Don't you Want to keep TikTok?
B
Don't delete the app because it's not in the app store. You can't download it from the app Store. And there were not even just Remy Beta. There were other influencers that were like, I deleted the app off my phone. And I'm like, oh, my God. And then Remy Bader posted a screenshot of the conversation from Girl with no Job. And Remy Bader was like, did you do it too? And Girl with no Job wrote back, no, I'm not dumb. And I legitimately lost it. Like, I was like.
A
Claudia was like, no, no.
B
I lost my mind laughing. I was like, I loved you before.
A
Because Remy just wrote back, kk.
B
I can imagine. Like, just like the back and forth going on, being like. Like, Remy on one side of his, like, pissed, and she's leaving it. And Claudia, on the other hand, is like, no, I'm not an idiot. I didn't delete the app so that, that exchange killed me. But yeah, don't. Don't delete the app because you won't be able to get it back.
A
And I'm sure it like, whatever when they do fully have the extension and what happens? Like, I'd imagine it would be back in the App Store. I don't like if it's just not gonna be in the App Store now, but the app is still functioning for the next three months.
B
I don't know. The app also looks like it's functioning on an Android right now. Yeah, it's looks like an underwater camera.
A
It's for sure not working at 100%. I mean, I can't imagine, like, turning it off and turning it back on is like a really easy process in terms of getting, like, what. Because I know people were like, oh, I can see. I can see videos, but I can't post yet. It's like, it's gonna be probably a slow roll here or if they're there, or they may just have it operate at a shitty level.
B
Right.
A
For a while and then, you know, it gets. It gets bought and then they fix it.
B
So many questions are, like, when it shut off, like, what were they doing? Like, behind the scenes stuff like, yeah, you know, what were they changing in the air? Were they changing anything in the app? Are they like, what's going on?
A
Like, I was crying, laughing at a tweet of. It was a picture of Matthew McConaughey and Interstellar, like from the other side, like looking through the bookshelf. And it was like all of our TikToks looking back at us through our phone. It's just.
B
Oh, man, just craziness.
A
It was just absolute madness this weekend. Truly. It was like really madness. Saturday night, everybody losing their shit and then being. And then Sunday, I mean, for some people, if you slept it off, TikTok wasn't gone at all. Like, if you slept from, you know, if you're. Maybe you're a deep sleeper, you got a lot of hours. Yeah, maybe you're really tired. Like, maybe you lost. Like, maybe you went to bed, you're like, oh, oh, no, I haven't had it for like an hour. You go to bed at like 11:30 and you just fucking sleep till noon. It's back.
B
Right? Right. Yeah, it was crazy. Moving on to, you know, more TikTok talk. But Spencer Pratt, obviously, Heidi Spencer popping off on TikTok right now. They unfortunately lost their home and most of their belongings in the. In the LA fires and they've gotten a lot of support from the people online, including to support Heidi's song. And Spencer, it seemed like, had been reaching out to Alex Cooper, Alex Cooper's husband, to get Alex Cooper to post the song. And now Spencer has made it his mission to, like, take down Alex Cooper for not posting this song fast enough. And which I think is, like, ridiculous. You know, Like, I'm team Spencer and Heidi, like, with their comeback right now of, like, you know, they lost full support. Full support of that. I am not in support of, like, piling onto somebody that, you know the Internet is going to pile on to, and that person is Alex Cooper, like.
A
Trying to force somebody else's hand, right?
B
And it's like. Like you're trying to force Alice Cooper to post her. Post the song. And she had posted that she was helping friends and family in LA that had lost their homes and belongings. And I don't doubt that at all. I think you're bizarre if you think she was lying about that. You know, she was donating all that stuff besides the point.
A
Like, I just did a whole eagle's tailgate for Right girls.
B
Exactly.
A
Charity event.
B
And I just feel like Alex Cooper is one of those people that people will go after and they know that other people are gonna join in against her, and that's sort of what's happening right now. And I'm not a fan of it. Like, I do not think that the dog piling onto Alex Cooper just because she didn't post Heidi's song is reasonable at all. Like, I find it to be really unreasonable. Like, it's. It's really bizarre to me. And once again, fully in support of Heidi and Spencer and them having this comeback and everybody supporting them and, you know, hyping them up and, you know, wanting the best for them. But, like, this isn't the way. Like, why, why, you know, and now he's like, like, oh, exposing, like, the podcast that they had. And he's saying, you know, because someone said, oh, she posted the podcast on YouTube that they did a while ago. And he's like, she's using me for money on YouTube. And it's like, well, you willingly went on a podcast for free. That's what people do when they're looking for press. That's how, you know, people think that people pay people for interviews. That's not how it works. Like, people want to go on shows for press and they know that the other side of it is that it's a joint thing. Like, that podcast is gonna, you know, get traction. You're gonna get traction. It's a. It's a mutual understanding. So now to pull the. Like, she use me for money on YouTube. Like, I'm like, I don't understand this. This. You know, it's. It's confusing to me, and I think it's just piling on to someone that, you know, the Internet's gonna pile onto I.
A
And I don't really know. Like, it's. It's. It didn't fully make sense to me. Like, why her? Like, I don't. I don't know if Spencer just felt like, because she has, you know, such a reach and is so popular that that's, like, he was really dead set on her. On her posting it.
B
She did end up using it.
A
I know.
C
It's just like, why didn't you guys post this?
A
I'm just confused. Like, I'm. I put it on my weekly.
B
I put her on my.
A
On my playlist.
B
We don't have that TikTok following.
A
I mean. Yeah, he does. Yeah. Like, that's. But that's what I'm saying, where it comes to, like, there's so many people that are online, who are popular online, who post a ton, who do this, who. Who didn't post the song. So I think maybe. Is it because, like, there's. Because he went on Friends question mark. Are they like. Are they like. I don't even. Like, is it like, he took it personally? I think he took it personally.
B
He reached out to. He reached out to her husband, Matt. He texted her. Matt wrote back, like, hey, I'm so sorry for everything you guys are going through. Like, what. You know, that whole thing. And Spencer called it, like, a bullshit response. And, you know, it's. I just find it to be, like, not reasonable. Like, I don't.
A
I think that's. I. Yeah, I agree. I think that's fair.
B
It's just, you know, like, we're gonna hype Spencer and Heidi up. You know, everyone's doing it. Alex Cooper.
A
What did she use the song on?
B
I think a TikTok video or an Instagram. I'm not. I'm not exactly sure. She did end up using it, but apparently that wasn't good enough for people either. So he's just going on about this now. Maybe because he went on the podcast and he feels like she, you know, owes him one. And, you know, I can understand reaching out to somebody and saying, hey, can you do this? And if they don't, then you kind of move along. But to make it a whole, like, thing.
A
Yeah.
B
When she's out here doing other stuff for the fires. You know, like you said, mentioned the whole. The whole tailgate for charity and everything. It's like, well, let's pick our battles here. It feels, you know, unnecessary.
A
Feels misplaced.
B
It does. It does for sure. Last topic, Meghan Markle. This is a Page Six article that she was apparently quietly shopping a post divorce book against Prince Harry. You know, a divorce between her and Prince Harry and a post divorce book. I don't know how true this is. You know, like, I. From what they've presented to the public, it's been solid, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if Megan was like, I don't want to live this life anymore. In all aspects, I'm out.
A
Yeah.
B
But I would. I guess I would be surprised at the same time, you know, it seems like they've had a solid foundation and he literally left the royal family for her. So I would find it to be. I just said I wouldn't be surprised, but I think I would find it to be. I'm contradicting myself now.
A
I was gonna say that was an all time, all time, two second switch.
B
No, I know. As I was talking it out, I was like, well, you know what? It kind of would be surprising considering he left the royal family for her.
A
I. I don't really believe this at all. I just don't really know how you, like, secretly do that. But, you know, this whole thing came from a big Vanity Fair piece that came out on Friday. That was the COVID story for Vanity Fair. The headline was, Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Big Business Ambitions. Five years after their royal exit, ensconced in their cozy Montecito mansion, the suss. Oh, man. This with the invisalign. This is, like, nearly impossible. You got this, Sussexes.
B
Sexist, Sexist. I can't even do it either.
A
Sussexes, yeah, Are living the American dream. By all accounts, the love is real. But their foray into moguldom has not always been a smooth ride. So this is. I mean, it's a. It's an extensive article going through, like, their projects and how things haven't really come out the way that they wanted to. Whether it's a Spotify thing or blah, blah, you know, all these different things that they have going on. Part of it, it was not positive towards them, really, at all. It really, like, kind of went into their struggling business ventures. But the summary that Page Six wrote was, the skating piece published Friday delves into the Duke and Duchess's Duchess of Sussex's struggling business ventures, painting a tragic picture of a desperate couple trying to find purpose and maintain relevance after stepping down from numerous life Stepping down from royal life Numerous former colleagues and associates spoke of Vanity Fair for the article, including a source who claimed Meghan's team had a conversation with the public publishing house to gauge interest in a book that quote, might center on a post Harry Divorce. The source didn't divulge the date that Markle's team proposed the idea, nor the name of the publishing house to which it was allegedly floated to Vanity Fair clarifies that quote, no written or formal proposal for the book ever eventuated. While another insider disputes that the incident ever occurred at all, the Post has contacted their reps for a comment. While some sources defended the Duke and Duchess to Vanity Fair, the expose also includes interviews with multiple people who worked with Markle and slammed her, quote, bully behavior. Some said they were, quote, undergoing long term therapy after working with Megan, while another described her as a, quote, mean girls teenager. One person who worked with Markle on media projects told the publication that her time with the suit star was really, really, really awful and very painful. She's constantly playing checkers. I'm not even going to say chess, but she's just very aware of where everybody is on her board and when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment. The source said Markle never screamed at any employees, but was engaged in more tactic forms of bullying. It's talking behind your back, the person explained. It's gnawing at your sense of self. You can be yelled at even if someone, somebody doesn't raise their voice. It's funny that people don't differentiate between the energy of being yelled at and literally somebody screaming at you, they added. Multiple sources confirmed that one person who worked with Markle on her Spotify podcast took a leave of absence after just three episodes before quitting altogether. Another stated, I think if Megan acknowledged her own shortcomings or personal contributions to situations rather than staying trapped in a victim narrative, her perception might be better. It's kind of a scathing comment. Yeah, so the, you know, there's, there's, there's more in the whole breakdown of, of the article, but those are some, some highlights for sure that do not frame Megan in the best light. I, I feel like I don't necessarily believe the book thing, but I can certainly see her frustration in probably what her expectations for this life to look like and how it probably has not lived up to that in her mind and she is there. Therefore, like, takes it out on the people around her. And like, oh, the podcast didn't last very long. Other things that clearly she's been working on not. Not coming out the way she wants it to. Other projects, like, I know the Netflix show, obviously, she had been filming, but now has. Has been delayed. But her business. We talked about how they. They were looking for a CEO for the. And they couldn't find a CEO for the business. Like, clearly, she's just. It. It seems like while it would not appear because, once again, like, she lives in a Montecito mansion, like, it. It's not like she's struggling, but it does almost feel like she has taken a lot of L's in the. In the business department.
B
Yeah.
A
And that's probably made her extremely difficult.
B
To work with for sure. Does it feel like sometimes Megan just doesn't put her all into it? You know, I get what. I feel like Megan maybe is not putting her a whole heart into her businesses.
A
Like, it feels like she thinks it should be handed to her a little bit more because, like, the podcast, right.
B
It was, like, nine episodes, and people think that they were filmed, like, totally separately and that she filmed the question separately from the guests and that the guests had to record separately from her. Like, this is not how you do a podcast. Right? So, like, if that's one thing. And then the jam. It's like, where, Megan, you sent all your famous friends the jam. Where's Jam?
C
The Jonas Brothers. I should team up.
B
Like, I just feel like they're not.
A
Don't put them in.
B
Don't put them in the same category. Yeah, you leave the brothers out of this.
A
Seriously rude.
B
But it just feels like Megan doesn't put her all into these businesses. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like, Megan, you find that one thing, you put your fucking heart into it. Megan, find that jam and put your heart and soul. Where's the jam?
A
You know? I know. I just.
B
Where's the podcast that you won the award for that you beat us out of? You know?
A
Yeah.
B
We're out here still doing the podcast. Megan's not right. It's like, there. It feels. I just try something for a little bit. It doesn't work to, like, exactly what she wants, and then it's just on to the new thing.
A
Yeah. There's no way that. That people wouldn't be, like, knocking down her door to work with her, too, you know? So I. I don't. I don't fully get it, but if these Allegations are true, and these comments are true. And she's that difficult to work with. Like, no wonder. You know, it's like, you. How. How are you gonna have any success when the people around you hate working with you or quit for sure, or just, like, do not want to? Like, they don't. If they're in that and they're in that much of a spot, like, they don't want you to succeed for sure. It's that good.
B
Maybe they're not trying their hardest either, because they're fed up with you, and they're like, well, we're not gonna try our hardest. She's not trying her hardest fully. Not to come from Meghan Markle's work ethic.
A
Right. I mean, we don't know, but.
B
We don't know, but, like, there's a new business venture. New business venture, business venture that doesn't really pan out.
A
So that podcast deal was a $20 million deal with Spotify. Like, that's fucking insane.
B
That is absurd. Yeah, that's absurd.
A
And they were just, like, they had no ideas for, like, what they wanted to make podcasts for.
B
Megan just. Just could have gone on that podcast and just started talking about life, you know what I mean? And it probably would have skyrocketed, and she probably could have got all the guests in the world.
A
This is, like, not Vanity Fair, because it's like, they don't want to talk about that. They want to talk about other stuff. They want to talk about, like, their interests. And no offense, but some of their interests are kind of boring. Like, that's just not what people want to hear about. This quote made me laugh because it was like, they wanted big themes. They wanted a big theme that would explain the world, but they had no ideas. One declared this was talking about the Spotify deal, and another said, I have no idea what Harry's interests are beyond polo. No clue what his inner life is like. So it was just really not. Like, apparently he had proposed that he would try and interview divisive public figures together. And that just obviously was not. Not an idea that that was going to. To work. But, I mean, this quote really is like, I think if Megan acknowledged her own shortcomings or personal contributions to situations rather than staying trapped in a victim narrative, her perception might be better. Like, that's.
B
That's harsh.
A
Yeah. Like, that's like, hey, cut it with the woe is me and, like, build something.
B
Yeah. And get out there and make some jam.
A
And just like, you know, you. You. You are. You're living this life. You're, you know, you're not on the streets. Like, let's like, pick it up.
B
Right? Right.
A
I don't know. But the book thing, I still, I don't know. No matter what, I will be, I will be shocked if they were to split because I do think they both kind of like, live in, in the same delusion if that makes, you know, like they live in their own world a little. So I don't. I'd be surprised. But yeah, that's you. You. You're. They're sipping their coffee on Friday. That and they're go. That's not an article. They're pumped to be the Vanity Fair February cover story.
B
No, no, not at all. Not at all.
A
No.
B
And that wraps up the topics.
A

Weekly watch report on Monday. All right, all right, all right, all right. Lots to get into. Not really, actually. Actually, I like watch things, but I feel like I didn't write them down, but I'm gonna try now.
A
I started. I started watching so much that I was like, I got to write all this down, and it's a lot.
B
I'm pumped to hear.
A
Yeah.
B
New episode of Traders.
A
Yeah, yeah.
C
I'm fully caught up.
B
You know what?
A
So good.
B
Great episode.
A
So good.
B
I'll give it a solid A. Yeah, solid A for Traders. Really great episode. Don't want to spoil it for people who have not watched.
A
I know, but we can talk about it.
B
We could, you know, we'll talk about.
A
I mean, I just, like, hit him with spoilers, you know?
B
Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler.
A
Yeah.
B
But obviously, Boston Rob comes in. He knows how to play the game. Here he goes against one of his own traitors, Bob the Drag Queen, and he gets him out with the help of Dylan Efron. None other than our sweetheart, Dylan Efron, who, Bob the Drag Queen said that his brother wasn't a good actor.
A
No.
B
Because Dylan said, I grew up with an actor. And Bob the Drag Queen said, not a good one. And Dolores was having none of that.
A
None of it.
B
She said, that's not nice. And she said, your brother's a great actor. Fucking loved that.
A
I am so in. And when they showed Dylan and Dolores speaking before the round table, and Dylan was like, I still think it's Bob the Drag Queen. And Doris was like, I'm starting to think that too. And I was like, I am so in on this love, on this little duo. Because I feel like Dylan, like, reminds her of Frankie or something. Like, she's like. She's ready. They're. They're a perfect little pairing. I'm obsessed. I love the end, which is like, your brother's a good actor.
B
I loved it.
A
He is, Dolores. Thank you.
B
He's our star. He's our shining star. So don't take that away from that.
A
Don't hit him with that. But my. My God, what a move. The dramatics. I fucking love this show. And I. You know, I hope people enjoy the show and watch it in Like a way that they just, like, this is not a show that's meant to be taken super seriously. Like, it is a. You know, it's. It is what it is. And the drama, the theatrics are so good. When Boston Rob was before he put it on Bob and he's talking, he's making a speech, he's like, there's one person, he's looking around the room. He's kind of, like, looking at everyone. And then the way his head just went and looked Bob right in the eyes. And Bob just was like.
C
I started cheering.
A
Oh, my God.
C
It was.
A
It was unreal.
B
It was cinematic.
A
Oh, my God. It was so, so good. Was really. Oh, gosh. It was truly. What a show.
B
It was cinema. It was. It was magic. The problem now here is Wes Clock that.
A
Yeah.
B
Fast.
A
Yeah.
B
Because Wes is also a reality TV show villain.
A
I audibly went, ooh. When he was like, how do you know somebody's 100? A traitor?
C
Sandal's like, wait, oh, my God.
A
By the way, Sandoval's brain is broken.
B
Sandoval is the village fool. Like, he is just talking about a court.
A
They're a court jester. They're in that castle.
C
And he is a court jester on the show because he's so funny, like, he's so dumb that he just makes the show so much funnier.
A
When he walked into the room was like, I have something to say.
B
I think I meant village idiot.
A
Didn't say anything.
B
I said village fool. Whatever. He's both. Yes, village idiot. He is just, like, always 100 steps behind everybody, everything. He's so dead wrong. It couldn't be more perfect for Tom Sandoval to just be so dead wrong about everything that comes out of his mouth. But Wes is fucking great, too. So now you got the battle of the greats here. Because if Wes can convince people that Boston Rob's a trader, then they're going to get Boston Rob out.
A
But they're going to want to try and get Boston Rob.
B
But if Boston Rob can use his charm and get everyone to just turn on Danielle. But then if Boston Rob starts getting every traitor out, people are gonna be like, he's the. He's the traitor. Why does he know he needs to get somebody else who's not a traitor out now to be like, wrong one time? Because if he's right every time, then they're just gonna be like, you, you know, because you're the traitor. And Wes is gonna be like, he knows, because he's a traitor. But as for this episode, great tv.
A
What breaks my heart is, like, also bossing Rob, being like, I'm gonna take, Like, Dylan is, like, a great person to pair up with. Like, I'll take him right to the end and just. Just backstab him. And I'm like, oh. And poor Dylan's like, I got Boss and Rob, like, he's, like, so hyped. Like, he's, like, a super fan.
B
Yeah.
A
He's so excited I'm working with Boss and Rob Just like, he's like, I'm working with Rob. Like, he's so hyped to be working with him. I'm like, I'm. He's so sad when he gets his little heart shattered.
B
I do have faith Dylan will. Will figure it out with Boston Rob.
A
Yeah.
B
I have faith that Dylan. His spidey senses work, and I have faith he's going to figure it out.
A
Boston Danielle and Carolyn are definitely going to. They're going to have to. I think they're going to have to try and come up with something to have people turn on. On Rob for it to be the two of them, because they got. I mean, Rob just walked all over that with that one. Like, for Danielle to vote. For them both to vote Bot Bomb. Like, they. He completely got them. I'm hoping Gabby Gabbie does crack me up. I think she's great. I want Gabby to, like, trust her gut a little bit more, because I feel like she. She was starting to. She's like, I'm kind of onto Danielle. And then as soon as, like, one little thing happens, she's like, oh, there goes that theory. It's like, no, no, no. You were onto something. You were onto something. So it's been great.
B
It's great.
A
It's been great. Great show, great episode.
B
Watch the Jerry Springer documentary that you watched. I don't know. Like, I was like, whatever. Yeah, I'll give it a C. Like, I was like, me. You know, we know what. Yeah, we know what the show was like. I wasn't like, you know, there were some disgusting things that happened on that show that, like, they should be ashamed of. Yeah. Airing some of the. That happened.
C
Like, the creator. That guy is, like, so proud of him.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like, you know, like, when people are like, it was whatever was crazy. And then he was like, it was awesome. Was like, no, not quite. The Molly Mae Behind it all documentary. Three episodes.
A
I couldn't love her more.
B
Molly Mae. What a strong woman. Like, that's what I got from this, you know? What I mean, And I don't care what people say, yes, Molly Mae has all the money. You know what I mean? She has all the money in the world, but that doesn't take away the human feelings and what she has to go through, besides that of now being a young single mother, her boyfriend, who she thought she was gonna spend the rest of her life with, dealing with these problems, and she's building businesses and all this stuff, and. And she's. She just seems like such a strong person. Like, I was watching this, and I was like, wow, she really. She holds it together. She. She holds it together for Bambi. And it was really. I found it really interesting to see.
A
I thought it was so good. I really thought it was an interesting inside look into her life that she has not given people this much access to it. Originally it starts, and it says that it was supposed to be following Molly and Tommy as they prepared for a wedding. Like, that was really the premise of the show. And they obviously pivoted around and throughout all the rumors and all these things has happened, and of course, like, the timing of Tommy now, I guess, actually talking about what some of the issue. Where some of these issues came from and Molly's talking about on the show. And, you know, Tommy seemed to really start to drink more and go out more, and that just really changed. Like, Molly is not a drinker. She doesn't go out a lot. Like, she really. I think that, like, just really hurt her in a way. And she tried to make it work for a while, and he was not giving it back. And even you can just tell the way, like, her mom and her sister were talking about Tommy, that was just, like, they were all. Even her mom being like, you know, I love him, but, like, I. It's. It's so. It's frustrating seeing that happen. And it just broke my heart, like, hearing her be like, I really. Like, I'm starting to realize, like, I thought we would be back together, and, like, maybe we. Maybe we won't, right? And you do see in the coming attractions that they must have been filming all the way up until, like, three weeks ago, because they talk about the. The New Year's Eve kiss. Now on the other side of this, I. I loved it. I thought it was fantastic. I have seen, like, the UK tabloids go opposite of, like, this is a massive stunt. This is a mat. Like, this is just to, like, big moment for them to, like, get back together and all this, like, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff. And I was like, I really don't Like, I don't buy that for a second, personally, but that's, like, of course, that's the way that the UK tabloids are gonna go being like this. We don't believe any of this. But it was just. It's just, like I said, access that we haven't gotten to her. And she's so, like, she's so young. She's watching these clips of, like, their proposal and all the parts of Love island and talking about it and reliving it, all this stuff, and I'm just like, wow, she is. She is one tough cookie, for sure. I just. It really did make me admire her even more than, like, I already did watching it.
B
Yeah, I agree. And I think that. I don't think this is a stunt. I think they really did split up. I think that they really have their issues, and they may have, you know, how to rekindling for New Year's Eve, and we shall see that. But I would give this, like, a B plus. I really enjoyed watching it, and it made me even more of a fan of Molly Mae. Truly Southern charm. I watched the last two episodes.
A
I'll give it a C. Yeah.
B
Like, I don't know, though. It's all making me, like, kind of uncomfortable. I don't know. Like, I'm like, I. I think it's just.
A
I don't like watching Austin and Craig fight.
B
Yeah. No, that's what I'm saying. It's all making me a little bit uncomfortable watching them fight and then seeing Paige and then knowing that they broke. I'm like. Like, just more so because I'm, like, thinking about them.
A
Yeah.
B
And I'm like, oh, this sucks. That, like, they are now having everybody dissect everything that was said and done on Southern Charm now that they're broken up. Broken up. It's all like, well, look at how Paige is acting. Look how Paige is acting. And I'm like, that's gotta suck. Like, that's just not fun.
A
I don't like Austin and Shep. Like, I. I don't. I don't really love their energy with Craig. Like, no, let Craig, like, live his life.
B
Right?
A
It's like, yeah, just because you guys.
B
Still want to be, like, frat boys and whatever. It's like, some people don't want that for the rest of their lives. If you do, that's fine. Some people don't. It is what it is.
A
Yeah.
B
I watched New in Town, the John Mulaney special, like, his first special ever, because I really love John Mulaney's Special when he came back and talked about him going to rehab. Like, I think that, like, truly. I'll just watch that. I watched it again this weekend because I think it's so funny. Just the whole storytelling of it all. New in Town was solid. I'll give it a B plus. Like, I thought it was really good. I've never really watched his other stand up before, but he's really funny, obviously. And I rewatched a bunch of other things, but those are. Those are new things I watched. That's it.
A
Okay. I will give. I will. I will give the Molly Maid documentary. I'll give it a B plus as well. I really like it. I'm excited for. For more episodes.
B
Cliffhanger. Major cliffhanger.
A
I also think because we're not so intertwined in, like, the UK gossip that we are learning new stuff. Like, I didn't know that all happened with her. With her clothing line. No, me, Like, I didn't know that they had those issues. And the blade with the blazer and, like, everything. So, like, watching that, to me, I found it to be fascinating because I was like, oh, I didn't know all this was going on even. So definitely, like, that Southern charm. I'll give a C as well. I'm intrigued by, like, some of these, like, some of the new people. Sally's really ruffling some feathers. I don't know. I. There's times when, like, the things with the girls, like, don't really interest me that much. And then, like, when the boys are fighting, I'm like, oh, come on, guys. And JT is just, like, such a. So freaking annoying. So I'm interested to see what happens with the fact that he just, like, stopped filming the show. So what else did I watch? I watched a bunch. Spoiler for the challenge. I finished the challenge. The finale was. Oh, my. What? That was a brutal ends. So much swimming. So much swimming. Oh, like, they were just swimming all over the place. Like, I. I can't believe how much swimming they had to do. Like, if you were. It sucks for somebody like Kylan who's, like, not a great swimmer. He probably would have crushed any other final. And because he's not a great swimmer, like, that was not. Just did not help him because this a. There were, like, fish out there swimming around from. From checkpoint to checkpoint. I thought as far as winners go, like, totally checks out for the. On the. On the guy side. Are you. You're like, no, I'm.
B
I'm fully aware of what happened because my dad could not have been happier.
A
Okay.
B
With the ending.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Find someone who is happier than the way the challenge ended. Then my father.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, like, talk about how he told me he almost cried.
A
Oh, my God. Watching it for the guys. Jordan one and very well deserved. I think, like, for him to win this season of all seasons is so impressive because it was the best of the best of the eras. And Jordan went. Really went through the whole season unscathed. Like, he. I don't think he had one elimination. Like, he made the. Like, had the right people on his side. Made it all with all the way to the end and dominated. Like, it wasn't even close. Like, really dominated the end. And as for the girls, I was pumped for Rachel. I think that is so sick to, like, have been on the show when she was years and years ago, been gone for so long, come back, fucking crush it. She is so impressive. Jenny's so impressive too. And Jenny, like, she. I'm a little wishy washy on Jenny. Sometimes I like Jenny. Sometimes I'm like, all right, not like you're complaining too much. Like, you're kind of like, like, she. Jenny's a little bit like, I have nobody on my side. And then Bubble and I. And when that's the case, like, I'm like, okay, I get it. But a tie win is. Is crazy.
B
My dad was so happy for them. Like, oh, really? Like, Truly. He was like, both of those girls.
A
Yeah. I mean, they deserve it. They're beasts. They are beast.
B
He was like.
A
He was like, your dad also definitely was so pumped because they're by there. They're like, by far the most jacked girls.
B
And no, that's also another part of it. He was like, like, it is incredible.
A
Like those girls at the gym.
B
No, no, he's just like, Truly like, called me immediately. Like, Like, I'm so. I could. Couldn't have ended in a better way. Couldn't have ended in a better way. They both deserved it. They couldn't end in a better way. I was like, wow. Find someone happier about this ending than you.
A
Like, that's amazing. I will give those last the, like, part one and part two of the final A beat. Good. Solid Traders. I'll give an A as well, I thought. Yeah, that episode. Episode four of Traders. So good. Love Island All Stars is back. It's on Peacock right now. It's a little bit behind, but, like, not. Not like a couple days. Like, nothing crazy. So if you. If you just want to watch on Peacock. Super easy to do. I watch the Episodes, like, at night, as they come out UK time, because I'm a psycho. I. But I haven't seen, like, the last couple, so I actually am probably on par with, like, where Peacock is. I am very intrigued by one couple. And I know you haven't watched it yet, but I'll just. It's not again.
B
And I'm gonna. I want to tell everyone what happened. I did put on the violent All Stars. I'm watching the first episode. I'm like. And trust me, I know the cast was revealed and everything. I've seen the cast, and I thought I saw the wrong cast get revealed because I'm watching the first episode and I'm like, wow. Bringing all these people back. That wasn't the cast reveal I saw. And I'm like, oh, my God, they're running this back again. I was just watching the first season of All Stars. This just. Was just watching the first season of All Stars. It's okay. And I thought, okay, I'm gonna have to give this a go when I'm ready to, like, really sit down and watch this. Because I was giving it a go and was just checked out and was like, what the am I watching? Why is like, I can't believe they brought all these people back. And just to realize that was not the case. So I don't. You can say. Because I'm. I'm going to watch.
A
It's not too much. It's like, you know, whatever. The second episode. So not too crazy, but. And there are other things that happen. This Ekinsu is the first bombshell, which, you know, start off strong. You're putting Ekinsu back in the villa. Ekinsu really cracks me up. She just like, do you think they're.
B
Gonna bring Davideh in?
A
No, I actually don't think so because they have, like, they have that. I mean, maybe, but, like, they tried to do that with Gabby and Marcel.
B
Yeah.
A
And that's gone differently. I was cracking up as I was talking to Gia about it. Gia was like, Marcel's 40 years old and divorced, and he's back in the Love island family. And I was like, yeah, but honest, honestly, I think that kind of helps with All Stars because it differentiates the seasons. Like, Love island, they bring in all these young 20, early 20 somethings. A lot of them are, like, not ready for real relationships. Like, whatever. When they go in for Love Island All Stars and they're a little bit older, and it's, like, different. I find, like, that the connections could actually be more legit. So I, like, I don't mind that, but Ekansu. And Ekatsu picks Curtis, which is just, like, mind blowing. I saw this mind blowing couple to me. I don't know why. In my head, I knew Ekatsu was coming in, and I just. I couldn't even register the two of them together. And I was laughing because Ekazu was like, I live in the same building as Mora. And he was like, oh. But they.
B
I think that's why I'm not surprised by this. Yeah. Because Curtis was with Mora, right?
A
No, I didn't.
B
You know, so what? I'm like, not so.
A
And I, like, Curtis has just a level of spice to him that I just love. Like, I just. And, like, Curtis gives. He, like, gives her these eyes. He's like, oh, Ekinsu. And they just, like, really crack me up. And Ekinsu loves the drama. God bless her. She is so funny. Like, just in other people's drama. Like, what? Just. This is not giving anything away, but, like, just like, with one of the girls being like, aren't you mad? He's talking to her, like, trying just like, she's just like this, like, and she always has been. And she's just great and.
B
Liar actress.
A
Yeah. I just even loved, like, Luka just being like, I know I can sue. Like, she's just. You know, this is. She's gonna be here for the. For the flair.
B
Can we talk about how much Luca and Mitch look alike? Messy Mitch, so fair.
A
Luka's way more handsome.
B
No, but it's when you see them on TikTok, though.
A
Yeah, I can see that.
B
I'm. I keep getting confused because Messy Mitch has a girlfriend.
A
Yes.
B
And she keeps posting, like, how happy is everyone that he has a girlfriend and he can't go back to the All Stars. And I'm like, Luka Messi, Mitch, Luca. I'm like, yeah. Why am I keep. Like, why do I keep confusing the two? Like, I don't know why I keep confusing the two.
A
Yeah. No, they definitely have similar looks, for sure. The other thing I've been seeing a lot on online, which is cracking me up, is like, like, how. With Ronnie. Like, how. Why Ronnie? Like, what's. What's the deal? I was like, he's just a propagisa. Like, he's just like, I don't know what it is. He's got the chat that all the girls love him, but. Because then I see, like, Americans watching and they're like, I need people in the UK to explain this to me. Like, what Is the appeal of Ronnie? Like, is this something that I'm missing? But then, like, those girls are like, no, we don't see it either. Like, it's just funny. But yeah, I mean, that guy, clearly, they. He's got, like. He's got that funny guy thing where these girls, like, really are into it. I don't know. So I'm liking All Stars so far. I'll give it a B. Room for growth. Yeah, it. It definitely does. I watched, okay, the finale of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Oh, baby, you miss out on a fantastic season. You really did. It was top notch television. These ladies, I guess I just didn't.
B
See much about it. And I feel like I missed out.
A
You know, because it wasn't like. It wasn't like, headline news.
B
Yeah, it was just the last season was so, you know.
A
Yes. It wasn't like, headline news Scandal, but they just were so funny. And, like, it's just the pettiest fights. And, like, they're talking about people going behind their backs to podcasters online and, like, and they sit down at this last table dinner on this vacation, and some of them just, like, really hate each other's guts. And that's just, like, what cracks me up. It's like, no matter what, like, Whitney can't, like, throw a little jab at Lisa or, like, whatever. And Heather suggests that they go into their phones and they search each other's names and they find the meanest thing that they said about that person and give their phone to them and let them read it so they can just clear the air. So they can just clear the air. And some of them were like, not bad at all. And everyone was like, okay, like, Brittany. Everyone was like, brittany, that's not the meanest thing you said about people. Brittany lives in La La land. But then, like. But then like, Angie's like, yeah, sorry, Bronwyn, this is what I said about you. And Bronwyn takes her. Oh, my God. Just eviscerated her. Just, like, so ruthless. And Bronwyn really took it on the chin. I will give it to Bronwyn. Like, she's crying and she's reading it and she's like, like, okay, like, clean. And Angie's like, clean slate. Like, like, if you're gonna do this.
B
Exercise, you kind of have to just, like, sit there, cry, take it and move along. The funny thing is, though, they all left this roundtable and texted about each other again.
A
No. 100%.
B
Like, they're texting about each other as soon as they Leave that round table.
A
It's ruthless all the time. And Bronwyn, like. Like, takes it, you know, talking about her husband, her everything. And then there's a comment about the. The text that Whitney gives to. To Lisa is not even, like, a mean thing about Lisa. It's just, like, a nasty rumor that she decides to bring up. That's like, Whitney's text is. She was like, oh, I was at an event, and I ran into so and so. And they said that, oh, they were talking about me and Justin. If they ever wanted a third. If you ever wanted a third. Like, he's like, we. I've done it. Or, like, I've done it with Lisa and John. And, like, that's kind of what they're. That's like, their thing. And, like. And then John, like, still, I don't. It was just. It was a sexual comment about John and threesome. Like, it was just like. It was not. Like, it wasn't Whitney being, like, texting one of the other girls. Like, yeah, I think Lisa's a bitch or whatever. Like, it was, like, a rumor that had not been said on the show. Yeah. And she's bring. And Whitney's like, I just felt like I needed to. I needed to clear the air that this is something that I. That I. That I thought was a rumor, you know? And I. She's like, but I don't believe it. I don't believe it at all. She's like, lisa, I don't believe it at all. And Lisa starts freaking out, and then she ropes Angie into it. Angie gets all pissy, throws shit at Lisa across the table.
B
I mean, what producer came up with this exercise?
A
I'm like, when. When the. When that came out of Heather's mouth, I was like, heather, you diabolical, diabolical woman. Let's read the mo. The meanest, crazy things.
B
That is a. That is a crazy finale.
A
Gets an a. I, I. That was a crazy. I'm. I'm so excited for the reunion. It's like. And it started off so good.
B
They should do the exercise again.
A
No, seriously. They start off so good. Like, Mary and Angie. Like, Mary was upset with Angie, but then they, like, made up, and they were like, you know, I love you. Like, we're so. You're so close to me. Like, you've changed my life, really. And they have this beautiful moment, and then Heather's like, you know what? Let's say the meanest shit we've ever said about each other.
B
This is too nice. We got to end every finale On a bang.
A
Oh my God. It was absolutely insane. I finished Lioness the last episode, episode eight. I'll give it a C plus. It kind of fell down for me a little bit. I thought the first season was way better than the second season. Maybe it's just me, but the second season was like a little bit harder for me to follow. There was one bang, like, holy shit, Mike drop like, moment in the finale that I was like, oh, that's a good twist. But I still was kind of like not fully loving it. Joe read normal people over vacation, over our holiday vacation. So then he wanted to watch the show. I'd watched it already when it came out. So we're doing a. We're doing a normal people rewatch. Really? The big Paul Mescal beginning of Paul Mescal. So we're rewatching normal people. It's a great show. I'll give that a B. It's good, but it's like for those that, you know, want people to really make it work. It's a frustrating watch. But that's really the whole premise, right? That's all the whole premise of the story. I watched the I'm caught up on Beverly Hills. It's been fine right now. Nothing crazy. Dorit's Dorit and Kyle are still really going through it, yelling at each other across the table. Kyle's got her vein popping out of her head. I really like Bose. I think she's a fantastic addition. I think she's been so great so far. Really happy with her C. It's fine. Really good.
B
Good.
A
Really good.
B
Okay.
A
I'm really. I want to watch the rest.
B
Better than the movie Saturday Night.
A
Yeah. I haven't watched it, but that's why.
C
I didn't watch it. I feel like I'm, like, SNL'd out after that.
A
Yeah, but it's the 50th, you know, it's the 50th. That's, like, the whole reason. 50.
B
I'm into that. Like, if it's a real.
A
If it's a real thing, it's like, it's cast members watching. The first episode is cast members watching back, like, their audition tapes and talking about the audition process.
B
Oh, I love that.
A
And getting on the show and the casting directors are there, like, talking about how they ca. People. And it's got a lot of great, like, pizza in it. Like, there's a lot of great. Well, like, there's cameos and whatnot from a lot. They got.
B
A lot of people love that.
A
So I thought that was really good. I'll give that a. I'll give that a B plus. Like, I thought it was. I thought it was very good. Two movies. The substance I watched.
B
What were your thoughts? I was about to watch and I got told I wouldn't like it.
A
Okay, here's my thing. Everyone's just ranting about how disgusting it is. It is disgusting. It is. But it's like, it's a horror movie. Like, it is sci fi, almost, like horror freak show type situation. I still found it to be pretty interesting. Like, I thought the premise of it was really good of, you know, this battle between Demi Moore having this fame and basically hitting an age where they told her she's too old and done and she has this opportunity to basically make a new young version of herself. And they. The twist is that there's a switch. Like, they have to go back into each other's bodies every seven days. And it's a battle of, like, well, who wants to go back to the older body and what happens because of that and the mindset of that and how, like, Demi Moore's character, like, can't get out of that mindset of, like, wanting to be young and beautiful and, like, why she's treated so differently and seeing how that happens. So, like, I Thought it was. It is. It's gross. It is fucking disgusting.
B
I really like the premise, but I got told I would not like it, not to watch.
A
I. I do think it would gross you out maybe a little too much. Really?
B
What's so disgusting about it?
A
I mean, like Demi Moore's body splits open and a person like comes out of her like full blown, like body split into a fully formed Margaret Qualley. And then you just see their like gross body like open on the floor and like different things that happen that, that mutilate their bodies and it just gets like kind of more and more gross and they just become more and more disgusting to eventually be like, how the. What happens? Like, but it is. I thought she was fantastic. I thought, you know, Margaret was great as well. But yeah, I mean, I get people's. I personally did think it was good. Like, I know people are like, it's so disgusting. Don't watch it.
B
I've seen nothing but great things about the movie, which is why I was going to watch it and then was told not to. I've.
A
The last few people I've seen post about watching it were like, I'll save you from watching this. Don't watch it.
B
Really. I've only seen good things about it.
A
I. You know who. I don't know. I think you could watch it. I don't know. I don't like it's gross. But I, and I don't love that stuff.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, and I was like, there are certain points where I was like, but.
B
Not even for gross.
A
I was still, I was still so intrigued by the story. The story that it, like it pulled me in enough to get past that part of it and then, you know, like, it's a horror movie. So it has a big kind of act three, gross, whatever.
B
Right.
A
But it, I really did it. Like, I give it a B.
B
Okay. Yeah, solid.
A
I give it a B. I mean, I thought the performances were really good. I thought the whole premise was good. I mean, it's, it's gross. It's really. And that's the point. It's supposed to be like, it's gross. Like the lengths that you would go and it's really actually so gross. And then I wash a real paint, which I thought was great. Yeah. Great performances. I think they're like, their performances really made the movie. For sure. For sure. I thought like their chemistry was really all about that and the chemistry between the two of them. I'll. I'll give that a B as well. I think it was like I wasn't blown away, but I did enjoy it.
B
Solid movie.
A
Yeah, absolutely. And that's. That's everything.
C
I don't have much. I watched the first four episodes of season three of Traitors. I'll give that an A. Yeah, it's good.
B
Solid.
C
And I also, like, don't know. Like, I never watched Survivor.
A
I don't know.
C
Like, this is the first time I'm ever seeing Boss Rob in action. But I. I get, like, the lore.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, already I feel the same way.
A
I've also never watched it.
B
Just imagine Boston Rob, you know, back in his prime.
A
I showed some of my friends who love Traders this weekend the tiktoks of the edits of old of Young Boss and Rob, and everyone was like, oh, my God.
B
I feel like people don't, like, you know, you don't get it. If you get it, you get it. But if you don't know, then you're.
A
Yep.
C
Yeah. And then I watched the first seven episodes of season one of Severance, which I just.
A
Because of the second season.
C
Promotion of the second season got me, and people are hyping it up so much, being like, this is the best show on tv. So I watched it.
A
You watched the whole first season?
C
I watched the first seven episodes. I think I had, like, two left of season one. It's good. It's interesting.
A
I wonder if the last two episodes are really what brings it home.
C
I heard there was, like, a giant, like, cliffhanger in the last one, but I don't know. I don't, like, love it. It's definitely like a. It's very unique. I've never seen anything like it, but it's.
A
I've really seen a lot of people have been up the second season or, like, being really excited for the second season.
C
Yeah. Maybe it'll. Something will happen.
A
The promo was very interesting to see what they did, where they put them all in, like, the. The glass cube, and they were like, their characters and everybody could just look at them.
C
That Ben Stiller was like, the creator of all this.
A
I don't think.
B
I didn't know.
C
And at the Grand Central thing, he was outside of the glass just, like, filming on his phone, like, Like a dad.
B
Oh, that's cool.
C
But, yeah, he's like, the creator of the show.
A
Yeah.
C
But, yeah, I'll give it like a B. Like, it's. It's interesting, but it just might not be, like, my thing.
A
Yeah, that's fair.
C
But I'll finish it. That's all I got.
B
Wow.
A
So much. Marcus King this weekend really just.
C
Yeah. I don't know. There's a lot of sports on.
A
Yeah, that's true. I mean, it was during the week last week that I clocked a lot of hours. That's why also Friday night, I felt like I was just posting it on my story non stop of, like, watching tv. And then people were like, oh, did you watch? Oh, my God, I forgot about one more thing. Special Forces, Duh. Also watch Special Forces. I'll put that as a. I'll grade that as well. I'll give that a B. I like Special Forces a lot. It's a very interesting dynamic watching.
B
You're like our Special Forces correspondent.
A
I am. I am watching Golden Tate. Brody Jenner's doing very well. Well, not. No.
B
If not Brody, or used to love Brody Jenner so much. It's me.
A
Yeah.
B
So it's shocking. I'm not watching this show right now, but I don't know, you know, he went through, like, no.
A
So it's fair.
B
He lost me a little bit. But. And that's where Brody Jenner was like, my number one.
A
Yeah. It's just really funny because some of these guys, like, don't. They don't, like, know who each other is. Like, you know, it's so Golden Tate, I think, was really trying to put the puzzle pieces together on who Brody Jenner was. Like, I don't think it was really clicking for him. I think maybe he heard, like, reality show, like, bubble, whatever. And he's doing very well. Like, he is athletic. He is. And he was like. And. And Brody was talking about his dad and golden, he was like, oh, who's your dad? And they were like, Caitlyn, you know, Caitlyn Jenner. And. And then Cam Newton is the one that was like, like, bro, how'd you not know that? Kardashians, you know, like, Cam. Cam Newton maybe didn't have the most progressive commentary when it came to that whole situation as well, which is not surprising from past comments that cam has made.
B
Kayla 2, bro.
A
No, no, no. To Golden Tate, like, he was like, like, oh, you know, that's his dad, but it's not really his dad. You know, like. Like that where it's like, okay, it's. Yeah, like, come on. And Kayla Nicole brought up also because somebody asked her, like, oh, did you know Cam before? She was like, oh, like, I never really met him before, but we did have interactions because she's like, I wanted a football player. And like, there was when Cam had made some comment about, like, you know, women Staying in the kitchen or whatever. And she was like. She engaged with that on social media. So they were aware of. They were aware of each other, but Brody is crushing it. Christy, our girl Christy's crushing as well.
B
No surprise.
A
She's a fucking badass. And she. This past one was like team. Team events. And she did really. She did really well, I thought. It also sucks because these are the ones where they. A couple of them, they do, like, the hand to hand combat where they're just supposed to beat the shit out of each other. And a few people had to be, like, sent home because they got hurt, which has got to be the worst feeling. It's like, you're doing so well and you want to stay there, but then you just, like, get fucking punched in the face by Cam Newton.
B
That's fucking insane.
A
This poor guy's like the Olympic swimmer, and I'm sure he. And the whole thing is like, a lot of water stuff. So, you know, eventually maybe that would be good for him. And Cam Newton just like, like, went full rage. Like, he was like, rarely are you told, like, just unleash everything. He's like, I really. You know, you keep it all ins. Like, the first time. And I think he broke his nose. Like, it was just like, yeah, Geez Louise. Yeah, it was tough.
B
Yeah.
A
Not. Not great. Not great.
C
Biz and Francis and survivors.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they're like. They're down to half the amount of people that they started with this, these last two episodes. People were dropping, dropping, dropping like flies. Dropping like flies quickly. Yeah. So, yeah.
B
All right.
A
Why'd I give it a B? Yeah, I'll stick with that.
B
Solid, solid watch from everybody. And that wraps up everything we watched this week. All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so very much, and we will talk to you on Wednesday. Smooches, smooches, smooches.
