And. And now it opens on my Friday because I was gonna go Friday evening. Now I have already seen it. So it opens up my Friday. I think I was maybe gonna go out to Long island really relax, you know, get out of the big city.

It is right around the corner. I'm also excited for the weekend to do absolutely fucking nothing as well. Like, I just wanna wake up and not have to leave my apartment immediately, which is what I will be doing. I'm excited because I just said that I will not be leaving my apartment. I was watching Beat Bobby Flay Holiday Throwdown last night, and I saw Bobby. One of his signature dishes is like a. Like a. Like a green bean mashed potato. Spicy green bean. Yeah. I don't. It just. It just came out like that. Green bean, tomatoes. Tomatoes, like, special. And I was like, oh, what if I want to make a different kind of mashed potato? What if I want to change it up and make a. Make a cheesy mash or add a little. Add a little cheese?

I'm sure everybody would love that.

I don't know. Like, I just wanna run wild. I wanna make candies, get crazy with marshmallows on top. I wanna freaking do it all. I love it. I really wanted to try making Teenies Mac and Cheese. If you know Teeny from TikTok, she is a chef on TikTok, and I love following along with her and her recipes and her and her husband. And Tini's Mac and Cheese, it goes viral every year.

And I was thinking about doing a test run at it this weekend. I heard someone else is already making Mac and cheese, though. I'm out of it. And, like, I guess I won't give too many details about.

I'm not going to give names or anything. But it was kind of crazy because I basically, the whole first day I was there, sat there, did nothing. I tried to get out of it. By the way, like, I had a note from HR here. Like, a very legitimate note. Like, very official.

[Fran]

Yeah. And I don't think they care how official it is.

[Noah]

I thought they would, but they were sending. There were multiple people, like, reading through these notes. I walked in, like, a kind of late in the room, and immediately I knew this lady didn't like me. Cause I was like, oh, I have a note from I.M. she's like, I'm not there yet. Sit down. So I was like, okay, she's in a bad mood and you could just tell me.

[Fran]

And you walked in late. She had you.

[Noah]

It was like a couple minutes, whatever.

[Fran]

Oh, she had her eyes on you.

[Noah]

And then she's like, anyone who needs to try to get out of this or whatever, go down the hall. So everyone waiting in line, people are getting sent home. I was like, oh, this is easy. Like, I was actually looking at my phone. Like, when should I tell them I should do it next? Like, what would be a good month? And this is already turning into, like, a long story.

[Fran]

Not really.

[Noah]

Okay. But basically she, like, comes out of nowhere and is like, you, like. She starts taking people and only picked me to go into the room. And I sat down, handed her the note. She read the first three words of this, like, pretty long letter and was like, nope, nope, you have to serve. Go Sit back down. And I'm like, oh, no, I want to serve. She's like, no, no. And just, like, walked out of the room and didn't check in with anyone else. So.

[Rhea]

Well, are you happy now? You got it over with. Like, you went. They didn't pick you, and now you're good for.

[Noah]

So, yeah, I mean, I sat there all day long until 4pm and if you make the five, you're done. Like, you survived the day without getting called. And at 4pm they called my name. And so I was like, all right, whatever. We went down to this courtroom, and the judge immediately was like, it's too late. Blah, blah, blah. Like, come back tomorrow. So then I came back tomorrow, the next day, thinking, like, it's a. Oh, it'll be like a small case or whatever. And she kind of kept speaking in terms where it's like, this sounds like a long. She'd be like, throughout the trial. She was very late that day. She's like, throughout the trial, I'll try not to be late. I'm like, throughout the trial. Like, what does that mean? But yeah, so she did end up telling us what the case was, and it was for a very serious thing, which I kind of gasped at in my mind. And I think collectively everyone there was kind of like, whoa.

[Fran]

Would have been quite the journey if you.

[Noah]

But it was kind of crazy. I didn't know that how all this worked. And I had to go up in front of this whole courtroom of people, in front of the accused lawyers, everything, and speak into her microphone to the judge saying why I can't serve. Thankfully, our holiday Spectacular got me out of this because the case fell on. It was across a couple weeks, but our holiday show fell across that. So she said, if you have planned trips.

[Fran]

So did you have to get up in front of the judge and say, I have the chicks in the office Holiday Spectacular?

[Noah]

I didn't say any of those exact words. I actually did. If she had.

[Rhea]

Your honor, I'm gonna be in Philly for the Holiday Spectacular.

[Fran]

I don't know if you've heard of the podcast Chicks to the Office, but it's their Holiday Spectacular show in Philly.

[Noah]

Believe me, Wanna be Santa. Believe me, like, having to say this in front of, like, the person who's accused of the crime and all this.

[Fran]

What exactly did you say?

[Noah]

So if she had pushed me a little more, I would have ended up having to say that. And I actually did slack like, our live event seem like, hey, can you send me those hotel receipts? Because I thought she was gonna, like, need to see. She said, like, we'll have to see paperwork or whatever. She didn't ask for that. But no, I said, like, hello. No, Ives. I've spelled my name out. And she's like, why can't you? And everyone who went before me, by the way, like, there were a lot of people who were trying to get out of it because they, like, weren't great at English. And she, like, shut them all down. It was like, no. Like, I don't believe you. Like, go wait outside. Right, right. So I was like, this could go bad. But I was like, everybody really tries.

[Rhea]

To get out of jury duty. Yeah, but some people really want to do it.

[Noah]

Yeah, some people, like, no. There were people around me who, honestly, like, I kind of was. After hearing the kid. It's like, if I didn't have conflicts or anything, like, that would be pretty cool to be a part of.

[Fran]

So you said what?

[Noah]

I said, I have a planned work trip the week. This week. And she's like, where? I'm like, Philadelphia.

[Fran]

And I'm like, so very far away.

[Noah]

And I'm like, it's a big event, like, at the end of the year that I need to be there. Like, it's a big thing.

[Rhea]

You're like, I produce it.

[Noah]

I didn't say that. And then she kind of was like.

[Rhea]

Excuse me, do you know who I am?

[Noah]

She likes the lawyers. Like, ask him. Is that's good with you? They're like, approved. And she's like, okay, you're excused, but not from jury duty. So then I was like, wait. I almost was like, wait, I'm not excused from jury duty. I've been here for two days. Like, I didn't say that.

Yeah.

[Noah]

Probably would have backfired. But then the cop ended up saying to everyone who was, like, excused after the fact, like, you'll get a receipt in the mail. So I think I'm good for four years.

[Rhea]

Yeah. You're like, your Honor, have you heard of the 30 before 30 list? Noah's 3430 list. Yeah.

What if that was on the list? Like, do jury duty?

[Rhea]

Yeah.

Yeah, it was. It was interesting. I, like, you know, it was a cool experience for the day and a half that I was there, I guess, just to see.

But, well, that's how I feel about this. And she wrote. Yeah. With like a, like a slanted face. Like, she said the last 45 minutes saved it for me. But then she said she still recommends going.

Yeah, no, it's. It's an amazing. It's amazing. The thing is, is just like, you know, if you've seen Wicked, you know how it goes. It's not like they stray that far away. Has a 70 from what this, from what the story is and from what happened.

[Rhea]

I think I have to let that not, you know, deter me. Yeah.

Don't let G is three and a half make any decisions for you. I, I, like, I'd probably give it. If I was judging off a, Off a five point scale, I'd probably give it something like that too. If not, like, I don't. I don't think I'd go higher than a 4. But it's. But it's hard.

The first part for you was higher than a 4.5.

[Fran]

It's hard because if you're judging the whole thing together, it's like, it makes a lot more sense. But because it's in two parts, you just. I have certain fate. Like, my favorite songs are in part one. I think there's more. It's just a Lighter, like, funnier setup in part one. Part two is just like a little heavier. It gets into more conflict and she's full blown wicked and everything that comes. You know what I. What everyone thinks she's a full blown wicked, you know, so there's so much more. And part two just moves really fast because it's like they, you know, they got to fit in kind of all the ties into the wizard of Oz and all that comes into play. And I still like, I, I love the story so much, but it's like there's no surprise in what's going to happen. And I still thought they did it beautifully. I thought Ariana Grande was fantastic. Once again. The two of them really are so good.

[Rhea]

I might go Saturday night. Yeah. I got no, like I said, like empty weekend. It's going to be like a last minute move.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

Of like, ooh, because there are tickets available near me. So I'm like, ooh, that'll be like a last minute. Let's go. Let's go to the movies.

It is. I mean, Wicked's fantastic. G& I both sobbed our eyes out. Like, like, I mean, anytime I hear for good, I just lose it. It's just one of those songs and you know, it gets you the power of friendship and having your best friend, unlikely friends, and you're changing the world and they're just.

[Rhea]

It's a beautiful story.

[Fran]

It is, it is. And they're great. And I thought Jonathan Bailey was great. So many great moments in this one. But for me, the, the act one is just stronger all around.

[Rhea]

I think a lot of people can agree with that. Even like for the play. Yeah. When you go see it, you remember.

[Fran]

The first part and the music to me, like the music in act one, I just like more. And there are obviously some great ones in. In part two. And they also added two new songs which like didn't blow me away. So I wasn't like, oh, these were necessary amazing additions.

[Rhea]

Right. Okay.

[Fran]

I was like, oh, these are cute. But I wasn't like, oh my God, I can't wait to like listen to this song when the soundtrack comes out.

[Rhea]

I didn't know they were adding.

[Fran]

Yeah, they, Cynthia, Glinda and Elphaba both got like a. Two new solo songs.

[Rhea]

[Fran]

And they're great. And they're like, they are very beneficial in the storytelling. But the songs itself weren't like super catchy to me. In my mind. That's all right.

But that's okay.

Yeah. Like, I mean, I'm not exactly watching it for the new original one.

Anyway, all you have to know is that for good just brings the fucking house down. Every time I was sobbing, my eyes like a sobbing. Truly crying. Oh, let me tell you. There was one guy that was sitting next to Gia who I don't know if he is. If he was like a conductor.

I thought Gio was gonna kill him. Maybe she was like, that needs to stop. Yeah, but to suffer it. Yeah, but when you're like in someone else's space and it wasn't when we were in the IMAX theater. So the seats are small, you're closer together. But I loved seeing it in IMAX. It was so good. Not 3D, not 3D, not 3.

Yeah, yeah, exactly. And I was like, I can't be crying this much at these. At the at these animals like packing their bags. Like I can't be.

I think it's children on TikTok doing any of this, thinking, this is funny. It's not funny at all. These are real people with real emotions. And they're commenting on Kelsey's TikTok and imagine me and Kelsey opening up her TikTok comments and seeing all of this. Like, I can't imagine that feels good. I feel so sorry for her that people are doing this, or it's pathetic. Like, these people are adults. So then Chase jumped in, and he was like, enough. Like, this is fucking weird.

He said he told him to grow up.

Comment was, these comments are fucking weird.

Grow up. Yeah, he wrote multiple. Then he wrote another one saying, enough. Yeah. And he's done with it. I would be too. I mean, they're clearly fed up with this fucking bizarre narrative that people make up, and they do it all the time. We see it with Justin, Selena, and Haley. Not to bring it up, but it's the same thing. Oh, they're never gonna be over each other. They're over each other. They're adults. They've moved on. But people are. They're stuck. So they have just been, like, being torturous in Their comments with all of this. And then this happens and Chase gets on there and he says he's blocked. I am assuming. I am putting context clues together that Chase is saying that he is blocked by Kelsey Bellarini in this Instagram story. I think if we're. If we're putting two and two together. He is saying that he is blocked by Kelsey on his Instagram story. I don't know what to make of it. He's saying he did nothing wrong. He tried. This is no good. Whatever happened before, whatever kind of like, breakup they had and then potentially got back together seemed amicable.

This one, not so much. I think things have now maybe taken a turn.

Right. It does feel like things have escalated at some point over the weekend. Over the. Like this past weekend and then into this week. And then the. There were some Country Music Awards. CMA's maybe. I think they were the CMA's. CMA's were Wednesday night, and she was there solo. And I feel like there's just been so much talk about her and him and what's been going on. And at this point, who the hell knows? We know nothing. This was. This couldn't have been more vague from Chase. No clue what's been going on behind closed doors. Who knows if Kelsey wanted Chase in her comments trying to, like, help, quote, unquote, help, or what he thought was maybe gonna help, but then maybe it didn't. Maybe she didn't want to address anything at all. And now. Now we really have no clue. Like, there's really nothing to. There's nothing to make of this besides that. Maybe Chase is airing something out that. That didn't need to be aired out. Because honestly, if he didn't post these stories, I think we would have just thought that things like, that maybe they tried to rekindle and then things fizzled out again, and we would have been like, oh, things fizzled out for them again. And I don't think anybody really would have dug too deep into it. But him saying that he's blocked.

Well, here's the thing. We say people wouldn't have dug too deep into it. We wouldn't have dug too deep into it. Normal people wouldn't have dug too deep into it. They are dealing with a fan base that is digging too deep into it.

I didn't feel like. No, I know. But I feel like on his end, he's probably receiving so much and it's so overwhelming that he probably thought, I gotta post on my Instagram. Story. Realistically, you're right. He probably didn't have to do any of that. Cause now we know way too much. And now we know he's blocked, and we know that they tried to make it work and it didn't. And if he would have just ignored it, things would have died down. But maybe things just got so overwhelming online that he felt like, all right, I need to fucking post something. Because I'm just, you know, things are just getting out of control online.

So who knows when you're in that state of just being, like, overwhelmed like that? Because I could imagine, like, what they're dealing with from the fans is a lot. I feel like they've both moved on. Kelsey and Chase have been together for years. It feels like we. The boat has sailed, and we've moved on from that. But now with the. It's all spiraling out of control.

Yeah. And I just went. I just went to go check his Instagram just to see if he still had them up. They're gone. Which makes sense.

Well, it's one of those. You post and you delete and you go, oh, he probably posted that in, like, a fit of rage or overwhelm.

And then was like, probably saw the reaction to those stories, which is probably even worse than the reaction before those stories, and was like, oh, fuck, I shouldn't have posted those stories right now. Just like, now. Now all the thoughts are racing, like, God damn, why did I post those stories?

And we kind of talked about it a little bit when we were talking about Mormon Wives on Monday. But we were definitely worried that season three was going to influence how people voted on Dancing with the Stars. I. I think it definitely did.

I think that she is somebody that got labeled as a villain on the show very early on because someone needs to be. Someone needs to be the villain.

And I. My take on Mormon Wives is also that I really do love the show. Like, I think the show is so entertaining, but I find a lot of the drama to. And I don't think this is a hot take at all. Like, I just find some of the drama to be pretty manufactured, and it's. Which is kind of fair. And I sometimes feel that way about, like, most Hulu reality shows, but she. Whatever she gets. She gets labeled. Labeled as the villain that has stuck with her. I think it's kind of been an unfair label. I think that she is just different than the other group of. Than the. Than the group of girls. Like, not in a bad way, but we've been saying it too, and I think you said it as well. It's like she was. She's definitely like the theater kid. Like, and I've seen it on TikTok so much that they're like, Whitney is so Rachel Berry coded. And that's so true. And that does not make her a villain in my mind. I think she tries to really hard to fit in with that group. And she's, like, a little quirky, and the girls, like, don't get that. And I think it's been. I think it's been unfair. I think she's been painted as a villain. I see people on TikTok still bringing up the hospital TikTok, which I get. And she's addressed and talked about, and, like, we're not gonna vote for her on Dancing with the Stars because of that.

It just felt like people were trying to come up with every excuse, every reason in the book to say why they didn't want her to win, and it. They all felt pretty baseless.

Yeah. I think she has, like, quirky theater kid vibes. I feel like she's so talented. We saw that on the show. She isn't fitting in with mom talk. Do I, like, disagree with her sort of being friends with Demi? Yeah, because, like. But we talked about that. But I'm separating that from her dancing and being on Dancing with the Stars and having that talent because she is so extremely talented.

If anything, she was trying to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, and.

[Rhea]

I feel like she was just, like, a little bit lost being friends with Demi, so I feel like that's where that comes from. I think that, like, you cannot root for somebody, right, if you don't want to. If you don't want to root for Whitney, fine. Okay. Just like we didn't want to root for Andy. We talk about every week. It's getting nauseating at this point of us talking about it. Sorry that I had to bring it up, but you just root for more people than you do others when it comes to a competition show. Right? That's completely fine.

But I went, like, tearing down Andy's character.

Andy seem like he's a lovely guy.

When people band together to, like, make something happen online, that's where it gets to that point where it's like, all right, this is a lot. Like, people over the weekend band together to, like, bully her online and be like, we're gonna fucking take her down. Like, nobody vote for her. Everybody. Everybody must vote against her. And, like, she's the worst.

She's a bad person.

She's a villain. She's this. She's that. Like, all the name calling about her character and all this and all that to get her off the show. There's a lot of people who have never even watched Mormon Wives who are just listening to what other people are saying, being like, oh, she's a villain. We gotta get her off. And they just, like, all band together to get her off the show. And to me, that's just like. And then people find joy in that after they're like, we did it. And I'm like, I don't find the joy in that. And I think from her dancing ability and how fucking good she was on that show. She deserved to go to the finale.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And I think, like, if you. That's where I felt too. It was like, if I. If you didn't want her to win, fine. But I do think she deserved to be in. In the finale. And yeah, the, like, the hypocrisy of calling someone out for being a mean girl on tv, but then banding together with people on the Internet and creating a massive group to tear down this girl. Everything about this girl, because you don't like her on reality tv, you know, it was just like. Feels kind of crazy.

I think we've picked up on the fact that, like, even now you can see, right? Because people are like, she's not nice with the other girls. She's not friends with the other girls. All the other girls are commenting, being like, huh, Whitney should still be in it. Whitney's so good. And I'm like, so that's where the problem comes in, with the detachment between the audience and what's being shown and the girls on the show, because we're seeing old footage, people are reacting to old footage. Now they're all friends. And now all the girls on the show are like, no, what the fuck? Whitney should be in it. Meanwhile, the people who are rooting against Whitney were trying to defend them. Meanwhile, they're defending Whitney. So it's like. And none of it makes sense.

I know. And I think, to be honest, like, ab, Whatever, Hulu Disney, whatever you want to call it, the whole. The whole parent company just kind of did her dirty with this third season coming out when it did. Because the timing of it was just really unfortunate because this is. This was months ago. And what's crazy about this show is every season is so different and all the friendships change so much every season. So it's like, this was season three. So we're all. Everyone's voting for Whitney. Like, everyone's voting based on a show that happened months ago, but the show's happening live right now. So so much has probably changed that none of them can talk about because they can't talk about season four because they can't ruin the plot lines of season four. So it's like, they can't. I don't think they could all get on TikTok and be like, we all love Whitney. We want to support her and all these things because then it would open too many questions and potentially ruin, like, storylines that happen in season four.

Right. But even Mikayla got on there with a shirt of Whitney and Mom.

Weeks ago. And they Hate each other. And she was like, no, I support her now.

[Fran]

So I think that still, like, wasn't enough. That's what it's still basing it off of. Months and months, like, months ago.

Yeah. I think that's where the disconnect comes in, is where now all these girls are defending Whitney and they're friends with her, but everyone online.

[Fran]

Is like, we're gonna defend the other. The other moms.

Right. But the other moms are friends with her too. So that's like, it's just a disconnect with the timing and releasing of the show. And she got fucked.

Yeah. And we already talked about, you know, I've absolutely no problem with her going back to the show because she wanted to be on Dancing with the Stars. Like, nope, no problem at all. I think that's so fair. And unfortunately, I think TikTok and the way that this got blown up. I know you were saying it already, but it's just like, it continues to show that just like one little thing people get into their minds and then that's all it takes.

Miranda did comment on our posts, and she said that she was honest about coming back for her bag.

So she can't blame Whitney. So that's what I'm saying. You got Miranda coming in being like, I don't blame Whitney for coming back for a bag. I did the same thing. And then people are mad at it. Yeah.

They're all getting paid. It's a job on reality tv. It's all a job that they're all getting paid for. Why do you think contract negotiations have become a hot topic every season now? Every season it feels like the season starts with them being, like, so and so wanted more money and. Or this, like, contracts have been a problem within the group. It's because they're all fighting for new opportunities and to make money and to have growth. And Dancing with the Stars was a huge opportunity. Now, at the end of the day, I do think I. And I hope that this all works out for Whitney, and I do think it will. I think she. I think she made it far enough. I think we all saw her ability and the star quality that she has that she could really take this and do so much in this space. And I hope Dancing with the Stars was everything, like all of the things that she hoped it would be. I know, I'm. I know she does feel that way, that she got so much out of it and without necessarily, quote, unquote, having to win. You know, I feel like all the opportunities Were there for. I was saying, it's like look back at American Idol back in the day. So many of those amazing singers did not win American Idol.

You know, and it was. It was vote. Vote based. And so many people voted for their favorites and there were some amazing voices who went on to be mega, mega, mega, mega, mega successful who did not win the show. And I feel like Whitney could have a really amazing career in performance or theater, whatever she wants to do next because she, I think, is such a talent. And it'll be even more interesting now to see this all play out another season of Mormon Wives because it does feel like obviously everything that went down during Dancing with the Stars, they were. They were filming too. So we. We will. We will see all that.

More pain than she went through with my dad, just seeing the ugliness of it. Then she said, the more time that passes, the easier everything gets for all of us. But it is sad because I was very proud of that book, and I'm still proud of it, but less publicly. So maybe I need therapy. I don't know.
