I'm like, okay. So clearly that's like, the kind of taste I have. It's so funny because she puts on movies for them all the time. And I'm like, My eyes. I'm like. With the adults, but also half watching the movie that they're watching. I've seen parts of Descendants, but like, not all of Descendants. And every time they watch Descendants, I'm like, I kind of want to watch Descendants.

Fran. We have Disney Channel tastes, and there's nothing wrong with that. Let me tell you. I am proud of it. You should be proud of it. We like a good family fun time. We like positivity. And there's nothing more feel good than a nice Disney movie.

And on top of that, now with, you know, Netflix making movies like this, they find these guys that are just so yummy, it's ridiculous. Number one was no centennial.

He was in Sierra Burgess. He was in. He was in the Last Summer with KJ Apa, which I watched where this is the first time I saw him. And then he was in this. He's in the half of it, which is another Netflix movie, and he's in the field of beat. And he is stupid cute. Like, once again, obviously. Oh, oh, oh, there. Hello.

Sorry, guys. Norman just wanted to get a word in quickly. You used the word yummy, so I now believe you. I'm gonna have to watch More movies with him now. Because I'm not familiar with this guy. Yeah. And I'm feeling jealous.

He's real life Troy Bolton. You're gonna have to watch the movie. I can't even. That's the only way you'll really understand because he's really very cute. And so I just want everybody to know and all of our listeners to know that we should have our eyes on him.

And I think people call him Wolfie, which is kinda cool. I like his name's Wolfgang and people call him Wolfie.

He has seven or six siblings, I think. I think there's seven kids in his family.

I love that so much. I don't think you've ever said that. And it's pretty spot on, accurate on. Like, sometimes when you just got that feeling, like, my heart dropped down to my vagina, it just made me feel things.

I was so hyped when I saw that and that's really all I wanted to talk about specifically and personally was my feelings towards A$AP Rocky and Rihanna together. Amazing fashion kill a music guys. If you haven't seen that music video, please watch it them together. Beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful. I've always wished, you know how people wish for Rihanna and Drake to be a thing. I've always wished for Rihanna and A$AP Rock to be a thing. But I think they're just really good friends, which is fine as well. Like I said, I fucking love it. Well, friend, I think that we have a great show today. Really, really great. Interviews with Camille Acostick and a cameo from Gronk. We talk a little outer bank so please tune into that. It's fantastic. We also have supermodel Emily Didonato as well. Fantastic interview. And we're going to be talking about Colton Underwood who was seen with Lucy Hale. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had a secret baby out of nowhere. And we talk about the drama involving Meg thee stallion and Tory Lanez. Allegedly he shot her and it's a whole big disaster and we're pissed. So let's get into it. Starting off with Colton Underwood and Lucy.

Hale moving on and getting over I'm not the same it seems to me Cause you've been gone I'm growing older But I still can't seem to get you off my mind.

[Rhea]

It looks like Colton, AKA the former bachelor, is moving on from his relationship with Cassie. He was seen walking around with Lucy Hale and I don't know, I feel like this is maybe a new girl alert for Colton.

[Fran]

So we saw the pictures. They went on a hike. TMZ says that Lucy Hale reached out to Colton after his split. The two have been seeing each other a lot, TMZ wrote. Our sources say Colton and Lucy have gone on a few of these, quote, casual hype dates over the last few weeks. So it seems their relationships, their relationship has legs. Haha. Very, very punny from tmz. They also wrote Lucy's had her eye on Colton for years too. Back in 2018, she said he would make a good bachelor because he's wholesome, a good guy and beautiful to watch. And apparently they have some mutual friends as well. So they've been seeing each other. If I had to pick like the next person for Colton to date, like this just makes sense to me. Like Lucy Hale, for some reason, it just. It just. I don't know. It just makes sense. I feel like Colin was definitely on the path of dating somebody famous. Just feel like that was in the cards for him, right?

[Rhea]

And, I mean, he dated somebody famous before with Ali, and then he was with Cassie, and I feel like, yeah, this very public breakup, he was bound to just end up with somebody famous. But I will say, if you don't think Colton called the paparazzi on him, then you are sadly mistaken, because he 100% let somebody know that he was gonna be walking around with Lucy Hale. Because you do not go from, like, a bachelor relationship to. And one that you seem to be very upset about, by the way, to then dating some famous actress and having nobody. You're not gonna not call somebody up and be like, hey, listen, I'm gonna be seen with Lucy Hale. Please come take my picture.

Right?

[Fran]

And it does feel like we have been in a little bit of a petty wars situation between him and Cassie, just with Cassie doing that. You know, we talked to Demi about it last week with Cassie doing the interview on the bachelor goat and just talking about, like, their breakup, and then Colton saying they weren't gonna talk about their breakup, and Cassie being like, I.

[Rhea]

Didn'T talk about the breakup.

[Fran]

And. And then Cassie basically saying that he was exploiting their relationship for money, that he was gonna add another chapter to his book to re release to talk about their breakup and also dealing with COVID while living with the Randolphs. So it seemed like there was a lot going on between the two of them still. Now, obviously, this. And it definitely fits into that narrative, Rhea, of, like, totally spitting the story. Like, nobody's gonna talk about that when there's pictures of him out with Lucy Hill. Like, everybody's gonna talk about him potentially dating Lucy Hale.

[Emily Didonato]

Right.

[Rhea]

And becoming the next Wells Adams or Tyler Cameron. Except Gigi Hadid is more famous than them all. But the thing is, I don't think that even though Colton did this, and it looks like Colton is moving on, and he's all smiley and he's, you know, rubbing these pictures in people's faces, I assume. And also, he commented on our picture when somebody wrote he's bad in bed, and he wrote, I'm great at sleeping. I just want to throw that in there. But I will say I don't think I see Cassie doing something like this or being photographed with another guy as soon as this, just because I feel like she is actually trying to be more private. But Colton is being a little more Public.

[Fran]

She's trying to go back to her normal life.

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

And I also don't really know, obviously, what happened in their relationship, their breakup. Nobody does. Not even Demi, who's good friends with them.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

But if I had to guess, I mean, from the beginning, Cassie didn't want to be with Colton. So I feel like when it got down to it. When it got down to the end, I almost feel like she must have been better as friends. Must have been thinking this for a while. You know, Colton always wanted something more.

[Emily Didonato]

Right.

[Rhea]

Maybe they were moving too fast. Maybe Lucy Hale is more of Colton's type. I mean, she did, you know, in 2018, said he was beautiful and wholesome and whatever else she said about him. So maybe she actually has her eye on, like, a religious guy like this and really sees a fit with him. Because otherwise, I don't see how Lucy Hale and Colton end up together. But somebody who watches the show and they know about Colton and they know about the relationship, then if it suits her, then I guess it works.

[Fran]

We have brand new baby news. It's coming out of nowhere. It seems like an absolute secret pregnancy. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have had their second child and reports say that because of the pandemic, because of COVID they've been able to kind of hole up at a spot in Montana with their five year old son. And they've been able to hide this completely, keep it totally under wraps. And it's just kind of just came out. A friend confirmed to the Daily Mail that she gave birth early last week. And that's all we know. That's it. There's just nothing else. And once again, I'm shocked by any celebrity being able to have a secret pregnancy. It's incredible to me.

[Rhea]

It is incredible. But also because of the timing, I feel like it worked out perfectly. I just want to say congrats to Justin and Jessica. Always rooting for them. Really happy they made it through that time where everyone thought Justin Timberlake was a cheater. And we were like, oh, no, he was just a little drunk, a little feely. Really happy we got through that. And I'm just really happy for them. I always am shocked when I'm like, oh, my God. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are still together. Like Whenever you realize a celebrity couple is still dating, it's like, married, good for them.

Well, it just, it's also like, it reminds me of. I mean, obviously now more celebrities kind of, I feel like, are going in that area, but the ones that are in New York who kind of go to upstate New York, like after I had finished Hilary Burton Morgan's book and just her talking about living in this small town in New York and how they're just not the only celebrities there. Like Paul Rudd is in the area. They like bought that, Bought the candy shop together. They're great friends. They would do, you know, they became great friends of the family and their kids would hang out and everything. And it's just crazy to think that, you know, you would just be walking down a little quaint small town in the little, you know, downtown area, and you go into the local candy shop and it's like Paul Rudd on one side and Jeffrey Dean Morgan on the other side. And it's celebrities. You never expect to see the celebrities in places that are not like major cities. So to think, like, you know, those people in Montana who were just headed to the grocery store could have caught a glimpse of Justin Timberlake going to pick up supplies for Jessica, who clearly kept this very under wraps, is very impressive.

Two things. One about Paul Rudd, one about Justin Timberlake. Okay, I watched how do youo Know On Netflix with Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson the other night. Okay. One of the worst rom coms I have ever seen. And I was very disappointed because obviously you see a cast like Jack Nicholson, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, you're like, this movie is gonna be fucking awesome. Terrible. One of the. Like I said, one of the worst rom coms I've ever seen. I still watch the whole thing, but I would not even put it in a top 20, 30, 40 list. Second thing, Justin Timberlake. I had a dream about him the other night that was fantastic. So Hank and I, this is the dream. Hank and I booked an Airbnb because this Airbnb was booked for a wedding that had gotten canceled because of COVID So me and Hank were like, okay, we're gonna go to this Airbnb. We're staying there. It's gonna be great. Justin Timberlake shows up and he's like, where's the wedding? And we were like, that wedding was canceled. And he was like, oh, I didn't know it was canceled. What am I gonna do now? He's like, you guys just wanna hang out and make D? I'm like, fuck, yeah, I'll make pasta Galaga. And Hank's like. Hank's like, yeah, make your meatballs.

Like, I'm doing something else right now. And then I woke up and I texted her and I was like, what the fuck?

It was literally the real life version of the story of when I saw Nicholas Braun and I texted Kelly to come back with me the next night and was like, nicholas is gonna be there again. And what'd she do? She ignored me. So it's just gonna haunt her forever. And now we're entering, like, Justin Timberl.

Okay, so there's been a lot of drama between Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez and just there was a lot of confusion with this story. It seems like we kind of have the facts now, but also not really. This all started when news reports came out that Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion were pulled over. That was the first story that they were pulled over. And he was arrested on gun possession and drug possession, I believe. And that was what came out first. And that Meghan had hurt her foot and had to be taken to the hospital. They said it was like glass or something, which was not true. Megan then publicly came out and said that she had been. She was the victim in all this and that she had been shot in the foot. And then after that, tmz I reported that it was actually Tory Lanez who shot Meg Thee Stallion in the foot and they were in the car. She had made it to the hospital after that. And now this whole thing has taken on, obviously a life of its own. It's really a wild story. And it's also really been pretty crazy to see people's reactions to it because she was shot. Like, I don't know why this kind of turned into like people laughing at the situation. She was straight up shot. Like, that's just, it's not funny at all. Like. And she had said over the weekend that she's been traumatized for this and traumatized by this and you know, posted on Twitter that it's just like crazy that this was quote unquote funny on the Internet.

Right? Honestly, it is so fucked up because I feel like people, they see two celebrities getting into an altercation and automatically they're like, oh, let me make a joke out of it. Because it's not anybody I know. And when you, they just feel like celebrities are kind of like not human sometimes. But it's so fucked up because I feel like Meg probably thought that she had a friend in Tory Lanez and probably thought that she was just having a good time and was just having a fun day at the pool there with Kylie Jenner earlier that day. And, and she thought that she was hanging around a good group of people. Obviously Tory Lanez has been in the game longer than Meg thee stallion. So she probably thought, oh, I'm gonna hang around this guy. You know, I've seen him publicly, like this is gonna be okay. And then she realized soon after that, no, like I'm not fucking around with that. Like, how, what is wrong with him? Like, how could he actually do something like that now he's gonna have a lot of people after him obviously. Because you can't just shoot Meg the stallion and think you're gonna get away with it. Like that is so fucked up beyond words.

It's really crazy. And she, you know, like we said the report had changed and now they, the story is basically that, you know, police responded to a shots fired call at like 4:30 in the morning last weekend. It was really, it was really late. And then a source told Page Six that Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Meg was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman. And then they wrote a spokesperson for the LAPD would not confirm whether there was video submitted to the investigation, adding that any videos would quote, not be released until the case goes to court in order to protect the integrity the case. So like you said, and Megan had post about this on her, on her own story. And it's, it was, it was really, it's terrible. And Megan had tweeted over this past weekend saying black women are so Unprotected. And we hold so many things in to protect the feelings of others without considering our own. It might be funny to y' all on the Internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about, but this is my real life, and I'm real life hurt and traumatized. So I just. I mean, I feel awful for her. My. You know, it's absolutely terrifying. She was shot.

It makes me so sad because Meg thee stallion has such a great spirit, and I love watching her Instagram videos and I love her music. And now to see her going through this traumatizing period makes me feel so bad for her. And I also think it's a product of, like, she is a very successful woman. And Tory Lanez is probably threatened by that and probably thought, like, oh, I'm the big man around here. Like, I'm gonna fucking shoot you. Which is out of. Out of. I can't even wrap my head around it. Like, it could have.

It could have gone so much worse, Right? Like, the fact that she is okay. We're so lucky because this could have had a really terrible, terrible outcome. And I really hope, you know, whatever, like, if the LAPD does what they need to. Does what they need to do. But I'm hoping that Tory Lanez just doesn't kind of, like, get away with this.

It's crazy. He did post bail when he was arrested for the drug and weapon charges, but I think this is probably a whole separate investigation. And Page Six said that he is scheduled to appear in court on October 13th. So this definitely won't be the last time we hear about this situation.

You guys literally end up being, like, my first. One of my first interviews whenever. As soon as I get the news, and I'm like, yes. And yeah, as soon as I found out that we were virtually launching SI on July 21, they were like, so that means virtual press tour ship's in the office. I was like, obviously, it's this. Like, this is tradition. I go on there and I share the news.

Oh, yeah, it is for us, too. I'm sorry. I, Like, I realized my microphone was not totally plugged in. I think it is now, so I'm good.

No, it is for us, too, because, you know, like, they send us, you know, SI is coming out. Here are the models that are available, and we're like, obviously, Camille. And then we look at everyone else and we're like, debating, but, like, every. Because it's just a nice time, obviously, we talk throughout the year and we are friends, but it's nice because this is like, our yearly kind of check in. We get to see what's going on, catch up, and I think it's awesome. And this year, obviously, with all the virtual run out for the magazine is kind of. It's kind of exciting. Oh, my God. He literally, when he hears my voice every time I record, he comes running in, and then he jumps up, like, tries to get on the chair, but his legs are too little, so he can't.

How has quarantine been? Have you been with Rob this whole time?

Yes, we have been together. He's gone down to Tampa a couple of times, and he's like, you want to come? And I was like, you know what? I really, selfishly, I'm sad that it's at the expense of the world being in a pandemic, but I don't miss going to airports. Like, I wish I could teleport and go. Go to an island or go to Hawaii or do something in the meantime, but I don't miss, like, setting the alarm at 4am to go get a 7am flight and then get off. And, you know, I'm so thankful for that work life and I can't wait to get back to it. But this. Sleep in, no alarm, be on your own time. Rob and I cooking together, cleaning together, like, doing, like, boring things has been really, really fun to me. Like, we do puzzles and we build Legos and I'm not even joking, taking nature walks.

[Fran]

We love it.

[Rhea]

So that's amazing. And I feel like, you know, you guys live such crazy lives. Obviously you're always on the go, he's always on the go. So I feel like this was probably such a good time for the both of you.

Yeah, it really is. It's one of those things that you always are. Like, I really want to read a book and take a bath and meditating. Sounds like it's really good for your health and your wellness, but I just never really get the time to do it or, like, consistently work out. And let me tell you, without even having to try and maybe you guys know what I'm talking about. But not going out to eat has, like, been life changing for my skin and for every everything. Like, I feel like I, like, started losing weight in quarantine just from not going out to eat or, like eating Kit Kats every time I'm at the airport or something. It's just, I don't know, it's such a. It's been a very healthy, holistic quarantine. I've been loving it. So I, like, so far.

[Rhea]

I love that because everyone has. I feel like everyone has had a different experience with their quarantine. Like, some people are like, oh, I can't wait to get out. Like, I need to fucking get out of here. And other people like you and like, myself are like, this is fantastic. Like, things are great.

Love, love. And I'm realizing more that I haven't missed that many people being in quarantine. I'm like, I am truly. Like, I'm a socialite, but I'm that girl who, like, wants to go home, take my bra off and go to bed. I'm not the one who wants to go to the after after party. Like, this is solidifying that I don't need the club or the bars or, like, I just.

Like, I like going out, I like having fun going out with friends, but, like, I'm very happy to go home at the end of the night. And he was like, when this is all over, are you ever gonna go out again? And I was like, I don't know. Like, this life is nice.

Low key or high key. Got really excited when I found out that LA was shutting back down again because I was like, okay. Cause I have a spot out there and it's kind of been sucky that I'm continuing to pay rent. And I haven't been there since the beginning of March.

But at the same time, like, keep me on the east coast, like, let me. I'll keep taking my nature walks, sitting outside, swimming in the pool and waking up and just being naked, stretching, yoga. Because I don't have that peace and quiet in LA like that. So. Yeah, this is good times.

Where. Where have you been? Connecticut or Boston, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts. Rob's kind of gone to Florida and.

It's. I feel like it hasn't really changed that much. At first when I got the news, it felt really heavy, like, whoa, are we closing up shop in New England? And are we, like, heading down there and stuff? But, you know, it's definitely such weird times that we're in. And I don't even. I feel like a lot of my business is in the Northeast. Like, over the years, I kind of. I feel like this is where the homies are and a lot of my business relationships and stuff, from, like, New York to Massachusetts and stuff. So we don't even Think there's gonna be fans if they do have football. So it's like, if I run to Tampa, I don't really have work there. Luckily, a lot of stuff is so social media driven now, so it's a lot of, like, home content creation. As you guys know, you don't have to be in studio to do your PODC and have your interviews, and everyone can just link up from the computer. So definitely thankful to have live in that influencer life stuff online. But as far as moving, I feel like I'll go to Tampa. If I can, like, get a break for a second, I'll bring my computer and go down there. But other than that, I'm in no rush to go. I'm excited for him, excited to watch football. I'm hoping it still happens.

[Rhea]

So are you gonna root for the Patriots still or.

[Camille Kostick]

I think because they're different divisions, the AFC and the nfc. I root for the Bucs and I still love the Pats. I still love the Pats cheerleaders. So I think I'll root for the Pats. And the Pats are playing, and I'll root for the Bucs, and they're playing, and hopefully they'll end up being a Super bowl with them. That would be iconic.

Yeah, that would be awesome. And obviously with Tom Brady going down there too, I feel like it's just another piece that pulls you towards being okay with rooting for the Bucks.

Yeah, definitely.

Yeah. He is the only guy that I know as far as Rav's teammates go, and he's gone down a couple times and has met some of the players and stuff. But it's like, as a girl who dates an athlete in the NFL, it's also like this sisterhood amongst the wives and girlfriends. So I feel like I'm also a rookie, like, going in and having to meet everybody for the first time. Luckily, I'm like, I know Gisele, but other than that, I gotta do all the introductions over again. But then again, can I? Because we can't even go to the game, so I don't know. I don't think we can. I just.

The Dominican Republic.

Super bowl and went straight to the Dominican, and so that worked out beautifully. It was just Kind of a hop, skip, and jump. But I'm so happy we got it in before everything, because I feel like the pandemic happened, like, right after. But, yeah, every time.

You're not promised to come back every year once you're a rookie. So finding out, like, kind of securing that spot in the 2020 issue was just as, you know, exciting.

I don't know. I was nervous, honestly. It keeps you on your toes. It makes the news more exciting, so you just.

You really don't know. So I was excited a lot. But also, you guys are saying it launches virtually. It actually hits the stands, too, on the 21st, so you can get it in hand, too. I can't, but I haven't seen the photos yet. You know, the cover's out and stuff, but I have no clue what's printed in that magazine. I don't know how many. I don't know which bikini. I don't know what. So the anticipation. I'm like, hey, Stan, let's go. Or, like, can we get it in the mail early? Like, I'm waiting.

That's crazy to me that you guys don't get to see it before it goes out. It's cool, and I like that because obviously, it builds up the anticipation, but, like, the fact that you guys don't see which picture is actually in it before it goes out. So a lot of trust.

I mean, luckily, the modeling industry kind of prepares you for that because you'll do projects and you'll shoot something now, and you won't see it for a year, and you have no idea, like, what's gonna go in this magazine, what's gonna go in that campaign and stuff. But Si is. It's so different. Cause, I don't know. I feel like I could be in a position that's so wacky but would be so in love with it just because it's in that magazine specifically. Like, I don't even care.

Is there a specific bikini or shot that you're hoping is in it?

[Fran]

There is.

Wow. My gosh. I can't even remember. There's a purple suit that I wore, and it was, like, really good lighting. The water's really blue at the time. I just remember, like, looking at the monitor and seeing those shots, and I remember being like, I Hope that makes it in. So I'm hoping this really light purple bikini moment makes it in.

Yeah, I'm envisioning it. It's beautiful.

And he was like, are you sure? And I was like, yes, it is your type of stuff. And he was watching. I think. I think it's called Ozark.

And I, like, pulled him away from it. I was like, I don't want to watch it. It's scaring me too much. And then we watched this, and he was hooked. And, yeah, we lost a lot of sleep because we just watched it all day long. We were just like, the biggest couch bums. And we became obsessed with Netflix that day. And, yeah, we're big fans.

What did you. Okay, then take me through. We talked about the quarantine a little bit, but take me through what you did on your downtime.

I'm gonna sound like an old granny. I made soup a lot. I prepared a lot of foods. I did a lot of baking. I took a lot of walks. I meditated in the woods. I journaled a lot. I'm embarrassed. I took care of my plants.

[Emily Didonato]

I took some bike rides.

[Camille Kostick]

And before you knew, it was the end of the day, so. And I did it every single day.

[Fran]

That sounds fun. I go and outdoors.

[Camille Kostick]

We packed up for Florida, like, and then every.

[Emily Didonato]

Every.

[Camille Kostick]

Almost every day, Rob was like, let's watch a movie tonight. And I was like, yes. And then we would get in bed, and I'd be like, should I put a movie on? And he would. I just want to go to bed. And every night, he did that.

[Fran]

So, yeah, it's also different because, like, you have the ability to go and be outside and do things. And, like, Rhea has been in Manhattan this whole time where it was, like, not really not cool to be kind of hanging around outside. You wanted to be inside, totally locked down, which she did. Which, I mean, yeah, eventually you're gonna run through 15 television shows when you can't even go. Like, I felt the same way. Like, I'm. I've been on Long island this whole time. So, like, getting out of Manhattan was huge because it's just. You can be outside a little bit more and still, like, social distance and be away from people without having to worry about that. So that's. That's a bit. That's a big reason why I think, like, no TV and A lot of tv.

[Camille Kostick]

Yeah, yeah. No, I will say. I mean, it was the. It was the deciding factor. When it came time to the quarantine, I was like, is there gonna be travel bans or what's gonna go on? And I was. I was at my spot in la, but it's all.

[Emily Didonato]

Everything's all close together in Beverly Hills.

[Camille Kostick]

And there's, you know, I come here. We've got that at the house gym. We've got a pool in the backyard, the yard. You know, I can run around the backyard naked and no one can totally see me, but I don't really care. But I was just. I was like, I have to come here. But if I was home, if I was back in la, I would have been TV for days. For days. So I get it. That is definitely. That's the reason I haven't watched Netflix. That's the only reason.

[Rhea]

Yeah, yeah. Now, besides Si, obviously, like we said July 21st, everyone go buy it in stands, look at it online, look at the beautiful pictures of Camille and all the other models. Are there any other projects that you're working on?

[Camille Kostick]

Yeah.

So I don't even know if I'm.

Allowed to say it, but I'll say it to you guys. I am working on swimwear, which is something I've been, like, waiting and dying to do, so I'll get to make that announcement hopefully soon enough. But it's been really cool to, like, show material and whatever else. The next steps are finally going to, like, social distance and touch in person and start to try the samples on and the whole nine. So I'll come into New York City actually next week to do that. So I'm going to be doing a collaboration with someone for that. So I'll have to get. We'll trade off the merch.

That is so exciting. I mean, if I would have to say one thing, that, like, a fashion line that you should be doing, it's swimwear.

I've been, like, so torn because at first in quarantine, I was like, I feel like loungewear.

I was like, can we do loungewear, too? And they were like, yes.

Well, I mean, I feel like that's.

Like, the new thing.

I feel like Addison Rae and all those tiktokers and stuff. They wear, like, bikinis with their sweatpants.

You know what I mean?

And I'm doing it too, so.

Right. That's exactly what I was gonna say. I was gonna say it's Actually like a combination that works well now. Cause especially in the summer, like, you can match your bathing suit to like the sweatpants or the sweatshirt that you maybe wear or take it to the beach when it, you know, gets a little chilly and you put it on. Now you're in like a cute bathing suit combo. Yeah, exactly. That is awesome. We can't wait to see that. I'm sure it'll be fantastic. And swimwear is swimwear. I've had this hilarious discussion and I've had it with Rhea too. When you're designing your bottoms, just think about the girls who are on a family beach and can't have their asses out. Because I have all these cute bathing suits that I'm obsessed with. But I go to the beach with my boyfriend's mom. I'm not trying to have both cheeks out.

[Camille Kostick]

I know exactly what you're talking about. And actually, when I going through the whole design process, I'll call my mom, I'll call my grandma, and I'll call my two sisters. 1 likes to wear like a thong, and the other one likes to be a little bit more reserved. So I like, call. I'm like. And then anyone I'm talking to, if there's someone who comes over to the house and does like sports massage therapy on us. And I'd asked her, she's a mom. And I had said, you know, what's the kind of bathing suits like to wear? Do you like to wear like tankinis? You like to wear a one piece, like, whatever. And it's just so interesting because, you know, from the get go, I go in on everything that I'm obsessed with wearing. But that's not what everybody likes to wear. So I like the Brazilian little rouge that show the cheeks. But at the same time, I do struggle when it's time for me to go to the beach with my family.

[Fran]

Yeah, I'm kind of struggling.

[Rhea]

I gotta wear shorts, cheeks out.

[Emily Didonato]

I got so much water.

[Camille Kostick]

I don't know. We have kept that in mind, Fran. So actually, how do you. Your bathing suits?

[Fran]

So I have a bunch that I really love. They're like a little cheeky, like on the top of the. This is a bad description. But like on the top of the butt crack, a little, like a little cinching.

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah.

[Fran]

At the top. So like, it kind of gives you a little bit of shape, but it's not like a full. Yep, all the way in.

[Camille Kostick]

Yeah, I got you.

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah.

My cheeks just come out in any bottom that I wear. So there's well, Ria's got a great. Rhea's got a great ass, so that's why.

Like, yeah, it's all cheeseburgers. It's strictly. It was. We actually in high school, this was funny because I had. I literally was, like, stick thin. Like, so, so skinny. And then one year, I just grew an ass out of nowhere.

All places.

No. But that summer specifically, I was, like, obsessed with eating cheeseburgers. Had eaten cheeseburgers every day, actually had to go to the doctor because I was having such bad stomach problems. And they were like, you're eating too many cheeseburgers. And then everyone would be like, you just have a cheeseburger ass. Like, that just happened because you ate so many cheeseburgers.

[Emily Didonato]

That's diagnostic.

[Camille Kostick]

Like, the paperwork is just, like, diagnosis. Too much cheeseburgers ass.

Let me tell you, that's, like, best case scenario, though. It really is, really is.

[Rhea]

Camille, you mentioned TikTok. You mentioned Addison Rae. You and Gronk did some TikToks over the course of the month. Was he hesitant to join the tiktoks, or was he all in?

[Camille Kostick]

No, he'd be like, what are you doing? I was like, I. I don't know. I'm journaling, I'm texting, I'm Instagramming. And he'll be like, want to do TikTok? Like, I think it would be great to, like, get our bodies moving and, like, get our brains thinking and stuff. And we should just, like, do TikTok. I'm kind of in the mood to learn some choreography. And I'd be like, okay. But everyone automatically thinks that it's me being like, get in here now. Let's learn. Like, it's usually not like that. It's me doing a dance and then him being like, oh, I could learn that. And I'm like, okay, do you want to turn this into a couple's TikTok? And I'll be like, yeah, I can do this one. And, yeah. And he'll stick to it, and he'll be sweating, and he'll be like, yeah, really? Just work my brain.

[Rhea]

So love it. It is the perfect way to get some exercise in. Also, memorizing gets your brain working. People don't realize it's, you know, it's more than you think it is.

[Fran]

Choreography is hard as hell.

[Rhea]

I can't do that.

[Fran]

What did you do? You were like, in the bathroom and you, like, maybe hit the wall.

Yes. I made a bet with Ria that I lost. And so I had to make a TikTok because I notoriously have, like, pretty bad rhythms. So I was like, all right, made the TikTok and sadly, like, really tried, like, many times because I'm really gonna try and hope that it comes out. And then Rita was like, if it's bad, that's funny too. Like, if it's bad. So I was recording, like, trying to do a real one and almost slipped and fell and was like, all right, that's just gonna be the one that.

[Camille Kostick]

I like focusing, like, really hard, too.

[Fran]

I was really trying, like, really locked in and then. And then almost, like, ate shit really badly, so.

[Rhea]

But it turned out to be very funny.

[Fran]

Yes, exactly. It was funny. And that's the last time I've tried to do a TikTok dance, so.

And Rhea, I know. Can we just. Like your dance skills and the amount of content that you put out between the skits and the dance, it's impressive.

Totally. It was. And I was only, like, 17 when I did that, if you can believe it. I was 10 years ago. I can't believe it. It's insane. I did that when I was so young. So, yeah, come a long way now. Here we are.

It's so true. I mean, and it's funny because, you know, Rhea said she has followed you forever, which is so true, because I remember she had sent. I think we had just started working together, so this was like 3ish years ago. And she had sent me one of your Instagrams. And I was like, she looks so familiar. Why does she look so familiar? And she was like, the commercial. I had to go back and watch it. And I was like, oh, duh, now I remember. Which is so funny.

[Emily Didonato]

So many people come up to me on the street all the time, and they're like, I swear we went to high school together. I've known your face. And I'm like, no, we did not.

Right? And then it's so. Because then it's like, there's no easy way to answer that. Right? You're like, you may have seen me, like, on your television.

So do you tell people that when they say that they might recognize you from high school? Or you're like, maybe it's tv. Or do you feel awkward saying that?

Sometimes I'm like, oh, you may have seen me. Yes, I do say that. Which always feels kind of icky because you're like, yeah, like, I'm on tv. Or maybe you saw me in, like, cbs because I'm, like, on the walls in there for Maybelline. Or if I tell people that I'm like, oh, I'm a model, people are like, for what? So I always end up saying it in some way, shape or form, which is fine.

[Rhea]

Love it. You gotta own it. I mean, iconic, like I said. But you are returning to Sports Illustrated this year. The 2020 issue, like, comes out July 21. It will hit the stands. It will also be virtually released. Tell us about the shoot. Where did you do it and how did it feel?

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah, so we shot in Saratoga, Wyoming, which was great. I love Wyoming in general. So, yeah, I have done Sports Illustrated for many years. Took a few years off, and then this was kind of my return. But it was great. We had an amazing few days shooting, and it was kind of great to be back on set and kind of with the SI swimsuit team. One thing that's really great about and what a lot of people might not know is it's a team full of women who kind of run that side of the magazine. So it's always kind of this really fun, like, women supporting women, like, chanting each other on. It's always, like, really fun and exciting and supportive. And you always, like, work so hard leading up to that point. So once you finally get there, it's just, like, so exciting. But, yeah, Wyoming was incredible. Incredible backdrops. It was a little chilly, but in general, it's just, like, such a scenic place to shoot. It was great. It was awesome. I can't wait to see the pictures. I haven't even seen them yet, so I can't wait.

[Fran]

We said that. So we spoke with Camille Acostick yesterday, and it's so funny because. And I said to her, I'll say to you, like, the fact that you guys shoot these amazing photos and then you have to literally wait for the magazine to actually come out to see them is crazy. We asked her. We'll ask you too. Like, do you have any hopes for which shots are gonna be in there? Did you have any favorite looks?

[Emily Didonato]

You know, I always. My favorite photos are always the one where I know the light is right, which is always, like, the crack of dawn. So you always, like, really try to make those photos work. So I'm like, I Woke up at 3 o' clock in the morning for this. It better look good. So I'm hoping those early morning photos are gonna be kind of the really great ones in the issue. But, yeah, the hype is real leading up to the day it comes out, and then you finally get it and you're like, like, ah.

[Fran]

So, yeah, yeah, I feel like the.

[Rhea]

Hype is real for us fans who look forward to it every year. And I can't even imagine for the models, like, you guys aren't seeing it. You're getting it the same day that we are. So it's super exciting. Now you said it's in Wyoming. Were you when you found that out? Were you like, ah, damn, I'm not going to an island.

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah. You know, every year I've shot in so many funny locations. Not funny, but, like, different locations. Like, my first time shooting with Sports Illustrated was in Namibia, which was like, same thing. Very much like, what am I going to be doing in a swimsuit in the middle of Namibia? I've shot in Switzerland, Turks and Caicos, which is a bit more of, like, the classic size swimsuit situation. But I Actually, kind of whenever it's in a location like Wyoming or something, that's not as expected as a Turks and Caicos or a beach situation, it's always kind of forces you to be a little bit more creative with what you're doing and how to make it work. And you always see, like, such unique locations. Like, SI always really blows it out when they go to a location. You see every inch of it and really experience it. So, yeah, of course, I'm always like, I love a good, solid beach shoe. And that's kind of like what you picture when you think of SI swimsuit. But that's one of the best things about them. They've really, like, pushed the boundaries in all ways in terms of, like, what we expect to see.

[Fran]

Yeah, Wyoming's cool. Cause I feel like it's just such a unique, obviously, background, and it gives you different kinds of backdrops that are not just typically a beach backdrop, which is super cool. So what was the first year you did si, and do you have, like, a oh, my God, I'm gonna be an SI swim like, moment? What was that like for you?

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah, it was like. I mean, it was back in 2012, and I had always wanted to be in the issue. I mean, I always went out and bought the issue when it came out, for as long as I could remember, even before I was a model and I went in for the casting. And when I found out, I remember I was, like, walking in Gramercy park, and my agent called me and was just like, you got it. It was, like, literally 20 minutes after I finished the casting, and I was like, holy crap. Like, that is so insane. I mean, just being able to be like, oh, I'm a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is. It's still a very strange thing to say and, like, exciting and awesome. So, yeah, that was kind of, like, the moment I found out. And then my first shoot, like I said, was in Namibia, and I definitely had sort of a moment when I was there. I mean, it took me, like, 24 hours to get there. First of all, add more hype to that. I was literally, like, on the airplane, like, so terrified about, like, what is about to happen. But, yeah, it was exhilarating. But also, I was, like, 19 at the time, so I was like, I don't know how to pose in this, like, very scandalous bikini.

[Rhea]

Now, what made you stop and what made you go back?

[Emily Didonato]

So it was kind of just a natural progression. I had been in a magazine. I think it was, like, four or five years in a Row. And I don't really know what happened. My last year that I did, it was in Turks and Caicos. And that was a totally beautiful shoot. I think that was like, 2018. 18, yeah. And then no real exit or nothing really happened. It was nothing exciting. It was just like, they're moving forward and shooting other girls. And I was like, that's totally fine. And I also know everyone at the issue so well who work within the magazine, so. So I'm kind of supportive of them and what they do. And felt like I had my run, and then actually one of my best friends is one of the editors. So leading up to this issue that's coming out, before they had booked me again, I kind of said to her, I was like, I want to come back. Like, what about me putting a little pressure on her? We were really close. So even when the COVID would come out in the past, I'd be like, hello. Why is it not me? It's totally boxing. And then she was like, well, I'll let them know you want to come back. I think people would be excited. So then it just kind of happened naturally and organically again. So I'm really lucky, though. They're like, a really great, supportive group of people. Love it.

[Rhea]

We're super excited to see the whole issue. I mean, it's just insane every single year. And you pointed out, like, they just really know how to push boundaries with the backdrops and different locations, and everyone's in a different, different spot. And I feel like this year was really crazy because when did you shoot yours? Because Corona happened, and I think there was, like, a cutoff of when people would shoot or if anybody else was gonna shoot anymore.

[Emily Didonato]

I mean, I shot mine in October. And I know, lucky for them, they're already shooting for the next issue. So I think they got a lot in previous to Covid Happening. So, yeah, it's almost been. I mean, like a year.

[Rhea]

Oh, my gosh.

[Emily Didonato]

Crazy.

[Rhea]

So it's like a blur at this point, the pictures.

[Fran]

It's totally a BL.

[Emily Didonato]

Did a vlog for it. Like, for my own YouTube channel. I was watching the footage back, and I was like, I don't even remember this. Like, I'm watching it and, like, kind of laughing at some of the moments. Like, this is adorable. I can't wait to post this. I forgot all of this happened.

[Rhea]

That's awesome. And you said you have a YouTube channel.

[Emily Didonato]

I do, yes. I started my YouTube channel. I was actually just looking at your guys YouTube channel, and I was like, this is adorable. I love it.

[Rhea]

TikTok, yes, yes, yes. I saw your comment on my TikTok once and I was like, ah, I was freaking out.

[Emily Didonato]

I love TikTok. Like for your page does the most for me. Like it delivers me exactly what I need to see in a day. But yes, my YouTube channel I started about two years ago and I love it so much. Like, it's interesting how my career and work has evolved. You know, I went from being just a model and showing up to shoots and now I'm kind of like producing my own content and have my kind of shooting my own stuff. And it's great and I find it really fulfilling and it's a really great way to connect with my audience in like a way that's a bit deeper than Instagram. You know, I always felt like with Instagram it's just a little two dimensional and didn't feel like people really knew who I was. And then YouTube, I really kind of like let loose people really know what I'm like. I'm always like in my glasses, my pajamas. I'm just like, this is what it is. You guys love it.

[Rhea]

Are you in New York City?

[Emily Didonato]

So right now I'm out in Long Island. But I was in the city up until like May Twins.

[Camille Kostick]

You are.

I'm out.

Well, right now. I mean, Rhea's from Long Island.

I'm from Long Island. Fran's staying in Long Island. Yeah.

[Emily Didonato]

Amazing. I'm out in Queen Scott all the way towards the end, kind of. So we've been here since May 15th and yeah, it's been good to get out of the city, but of course I miss it. But you know, Covid, I know exactly.

[Fran]

I've been out staying at my boyfriend's family's house since March. So I've been here for a long time. But I'm also like kind of beachy type town. So like now I that it's summer, it's just. It's fantastic. It's like exactly where I want to be anyway, so really, really can't complain.

[Emily Didonato]

Exactly.

[Camille Kostick]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

And so you said you're on Long Island. When do you plan on going back to New York and is. Have you been working from home? Like, I see people doing FaceTime shoots. Is that going on?

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah, so I'll probably go back. I mean, the plan is September, but who knows, you know, things. Things are still the way that they are. We might just stay out here. I'm Kind of like living up that suburban lifestyle. I'm kind of getting used to it. But yes, I weirdly have been working quite a bit out here because I've been self shooting a lot of stuff. So brands have literally sent me like racks of clothes and they're like, make it work. Like shoot this catalog, shoot these in store photos. And luckily I have a bunch of friends in Long island and I'm literally like, hey, can you come over on Sunday and help me? I would ask my husband, but he's a little bit useless with a camera. You know, it doesn't work out.

[Fran]

Yeah, that's definitely a friend's job. Unless you have like a photographer husband where, you know, sometimes it just. It just works. Like, you see I know like Olivia Culpa who's on the COVID of SI this year, and you know, she's doing Vogue and Christian is taking the photos for her. It's like, who has a boyfriend like that?

[Emily Didonato]

Mine. He can barely work an iPhone. He's like. And even when I try to like coach him and he takes like an okay photo, he's like, see?

[Fran]

Easy.

[Emily Didonato]

I can do. I'm like, calm down. You have a great subject. I literally set you up and you hit a button like you're.

[Fran]

That's so funny.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Emily Didonato]

And then of course, I'm always working on my own content and, you know, my own YouTube videos and stuff like that, which weirdly take takes up like a lot of my time. But it's also unlucky that I have something extra. Kind of keep me busy during this time as well.

[Fran]

Yeah, for sure.

[Emily Didonato]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

Friend. Were you gonna say something?

[Fran]

I was going to say something, but we both. But we both opened our mouths at the same time, so I didn't know what was gonna happen.

I was gonna say you mentioned your husband. I know because like Rhea said, we have followed you for a while, but some of our listeners may not know you. And we're a big, you know, we love love on this show. If you have one of the cutest, like, meet cute rom com stories about meeting your husband, can you share that with everybody?

[Emily Didonato]

Yes. So my husband and I met on a flight from New York to Colorado. So I was going to Colorado to Vail, actually to shoot the COVID of Vogue Australia. And then my cousin Kyle was going to shoot. No, not to shoot. He was going for like a work ski boondoggle situation. So we sat next to each other. It was like New York to Denver. We were both going to Vail and then we started chatting, like, kind of midway through, and I noticed him, thought he was cute. But I was also like. I remember I'd never been to Colorado before, and I was wearing, like, a North Face jacket that goes to your ankles, like, the ones that look like a mask, sleeping hat and ugg boots. Because I was like, oh, Colorado snow. Like, it's gonna be cold. Granted, this was, like, almost 10 years ago now, so I was like, this is perfect. This is a perfect outfit. Now looking back, I'm like, I can't believe I met my husband wearing that. But, yeah, that's how we met. And actually kind of full circle, when we were on the flight and we landed in Denver, my phone was kind of in between us, and my best friend Jeanine texted me. And actually, Jeanine is one of the editors at SI Swimsuit. So she texted me and she was like. We were chatting, and he was like, oh, is that Janine Beery? I know her. I was just skiing with her, like, a couple weeks ago, which was so strange. So I texted her and I was like, you know this guy Kyle, blah, blah, blah. And she was like, yes, he's amazing. Like, my ex boyfriend and him were really great friends. So I already had someone kind of be like, oh, he's all good. Like, right.

[Fran]

Not a total strange. You need somebody, like, to vet for sure.

[Emily Didonato]

Exactly. Yeah. And then after that, we kind of, like, were together short. I mean, he called me a lot after that, and I kind of didn't answer because I was like, why is this strange man like, calling me? Alarming. I was like, please just text me like a normal human being. Eventually, I guess I answered and we, like, went on a date, and we've pretty much been together since then.

[Rhea]

Oh, I love it.

[Fran]

That's so cute.

[Rhea]

And I feel like, like, that gives people hope when they hear that, because usually you wouldn't just get on an airplane or get an airport. I know when you go to an airport and you see, like, a cute guy and then you just, like, envision your life together, but it's never gonna happen. I feel like that happens, like, when you see somebody that looks like the same age as you and you get, like, awkward eye contact. I always see that on TikTok. Like, people are always talking about that, but it actually happened for you.

[Emily Didonato]

Yes, it really did. It was. It's such a weird thing to even think about sometimes because, like, now we know each other so well, and I'm like, I can't believe we, like. I still remember our first conversation so vividly. I also remember that he was, like, speaking on the phone super loudly and obnoxiously. And I remember being like, this guy thinks he's so important. I'm going to try to look at his laptop and see what he's doing. I'm sure it's not that important. And it was like some Excel spreadsheet. And I read it and I still remember some of the things that I saw on it. And he like, what a psycho. I was like, you seemed like you were. You were acting like you were so important. I had to know what you were doing.

[Fran]

And you're just straight up lying. If you are, say that you're sitting next to someone on a plane and they have their laptop open and you're not looking at what they're doing. Like, it's impossible. The seats are so close to each other anyway. Like, you're always kind of like, side eye, like, oh, what is this person working on?

[Emily Didonato]

It's impossible not to totally. I'm like, get a privacy screen, you know, I don't know exactly.

[Rhea]

Also, the people in front of you like, looking at the. Their text messages, and then you see long paragraphs, and you get excited because you're like, oh, they're in a fight. This is awesome.

[Fran]

Especially if they have the bigger font on their phone. And you're like, okay, you want people.

[Emily Didonato]

To read this or on the subway also prime time for that. Oh.

[Rhea]

Oh, yeah. I want to ask you because it seems like you're very into pop culture and maybe reality tv. I think I've seen you talking about the Bachelor and some Bravo shows. What is your favorite reality TV show?

[Emily Didonato]

Man, that's tough. I love the Bachelor.

[Fran]

That's a tough question.

[Emily Didonato]

I love the Bachelor. I love anything Bravo. Real Housewives of New York is probably my favorite. Real Housewives, you know. And also, I have a soft spot for Summer House because, funny enough, Kyle Cook and Amanda are good friends of my husband and I. Actually, Kyle Cook was my husband's roommate when we met.

[Fran]

So it all comes together of, like, what?

[Emily Didonato]

My husband was living with Kyle Cook, so, you know, so I love Kyle dearly and him and Amanda when they got together. So I do love Summer House and stay very in tune with what's going on. And I also, like, aggressively DM everyone on that show. Cause I feel like I know them and my husband's always like, you don't know everyone on that show. Like, stop. And I'm like, no, I need to let them know, like, what I think about this episode.

[Rhea]

They know me and I know that that's amazing. Do you watch Below Deck?

[Emily Didonato]

I do not, no. That's the only one I haven't gotten into same.

[Rhea]

And I think I need to start because that's the one that people keep mentioning to us. They're like, you guys are missing out on this show. And I think I'm gonna like, pull the trigger and start it today. Like, I think I'm just gonna go dive in.

[Emily Didonato]

I've had it on my to do list. Also, fun story. One time, Bravo messaged me to be on like one of the their spin off shows for Below Deck. And it was like, hey, you can like go on this boat with your friends and like, we're gonna video it. And I was like, that's incredible. I'm 100% doing that. And I like, told my husband and he was like, do you really think that's a good idea? And I was like, maybe not. Seemed great though.

[Rhea]

Yeah, it seems like a fun time until your husband gets dragged into it and then they show everything about your relationship and then you're really. Relationship's doomed.

[Fran]

Right. Like, you go on and there's like some hot employee on the boat who's like. And you're like, oh, shoot, this is not what I signed up for exactly.

[Emily Didonato]

But it is mostly my dream to be on Bravo for sure. I'm not sure in what capacity, but I'd love it.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

I feel like. Have you ever done watch what happens live or anything like that?

[Emily Didonato]

I have not. Okay.

[Fran]

I mean, Andy, what are you doing? I don't know what Andy's doing. And I feel like you would be a prime time, like an amazing guest because you obviously watch, you know, and those are my favorite guests who go on besides obviously the ones that are on the show, on the shows. But when other celebrities not associated with Bravo go on and they're like, andy, I know everything about these shows. It's fantastic.

[Emily Didonato]

Agreed. Agreed. I should fly it into his DMs for sure.

[Fran]

Yeah. If you're gonna message everybody on Summerhouse, throw Andy Cohen in there too. That's totally fine. This whole time, this whole, like, quarantine, I have been doing Beverly Hills. I, I like have watched the last few seasons because we've had a bunch of the women on our show. But I never really watched, like from years ago. So I've been watching all the old ones. I think I'm at. I think I'm now on season. I think I'm on season seven. And I have watched like a lot of eight, nine, ten. Anyway, but.

[Emily Didonato]

But.

And I'm, like, addicted because I go and I watch the old ones, and then I'm still watching, like, the ones that are coming out now. Like, I have last night's episode, like, paused on my iPad.

[Emily Didonato]

Once you have the full history of, like, what's gone on on the series, like, I'm so genuinely invested. It's a problem.

And you said that you absolutely love the Bachelor. So we need to know because we are so in the Bachelor world.

I want to know your favorites. I want to know your least favorites, and I just want to know your overall thoughts on Matt James becoming the Bachelor and Claire Crawley being the Bachelorette. Let's hear it all.

[Emily Didonato]

Let me organize my thoughts. Brown was an incredible bachelorette. I liked her season. I felt like she was a good bachelorette. I really liked her. In terms of Bachelor's. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I love, loved Tyler Cameron, and I wanted it to be him. Love him. I sat next to him at a fashion show, actually, like, during New York Fashion Week in September, and I was like, I genuinely did not know what to do with my body. And I was squished between him and this massive basketball player. And I felt bad because, like, of course I knew exactly who he was, but I was trying to, like, play it cool. And I was just like, oh, like, hey, what's up? I'm just, like, here to watch a show, whatever. And we started chatting, and I was like, wow.

[Fran]

Wow.

[Emily Didonato]

Beautiful, man. Like, loved him on Hannah season. He was great. Matt James, I can't wait to see how he does. He seems so playful and, like, handsome, and I'm very curious to see how that plays out. I mean, when are they gonna start filming, though? Unclear.

[Fran]

I know. Well, they're filled. They started. Or apparently they say they're starting Claire season in August. They're doing it fully at lockdown. They're doing it, like, at La Quinta in Palm Springs. Like, they have the whole resort, like, to themselves, I guess, or whatever. And they have. All the guys are gonna be there. They're not gonna travel anywhere. Everybody's gonna get tested. They're gonna go through the whole thing, and they'll start so that we can see it in the fall, hopefully.

[Emily Didonato]

I feel like adding a layer of COVID to that situation. The pressure cooker is gonna be insane.

[Rhea]

Right? And also, even though they're testing everyone, I feel like it's gonna be a little different as to the physical aspect of it. I mean, With Peter. We saw him kissing every single. And now I feel like Claire is gonna be extra careful on who she's, like, intimate with.

[Emily Didonato]

I mean, of course, even when I watch movies now and see someone kiss, I'm, like, horrified. We're all done. I feel so done with all that.

[Fran]

I know. It really, it is. And it's sad because, like, not that I, like, love pda, because who, like, really loves pda? But I used to see people, you know, holding hands or kissing on the street and being like, oh, sweet. Like, that's so nice. And. And I'm like. Now I'm like, ugh, touching.

[Emily Didonato]

True. I still.

[Fran]

I'm like, I hope those people know each other. No making out with strangers.

[Emily Didonato]

That's so true. I observed a couple in the park before I left New York, and they definitely looked like they were on a first date. And I was like, wow. Judging you.

Ballsy, Ballsy move. Definitely a ballsy move. Emily, you also just became a dog mom. Yes, that's right. Yeah, so did Ria.

[Rhea]

I did, too.

I got a dachshund. A mini dachshund.

Oh, my God. Those are stupid cute.

I grew up with the dachshund. I love them.

And was the dog good? Cause I'm a little nervous.

Oh, my God. So precious. And she got so chubby. And their legs are so short. I love it.

Oh, it cracks me up. It just cracks me up watching. What kind of dog did you get?

I got a toy golden doodle. She is. She's adorable. And I'm glad we're out here because it's, like, really easy to kind of do the potty training situation full time. Job, though. Won't lie. I forgot that it's, like, so much work. And my husband is, like, on calls all day long, so I'm kind of, like, running in and out of the house all day long. My best friend's watching her right now. But it's nice while we're all staying home though, right? Cause I'm like, oh, we get to buy and get to know each other. Whenever things ever go back to normal, though, I'm like, I don't know what this dog's gonna do. It's used to, like, 20 people being around 24, 7, right?

[Rhea]

I feel the same exact way. But I also, like, I keep getting scared. Cause I'm like, oh, this is so great right now. And this is so fun. And I'm spending a lot of time with him, and he's training and all of this. And then I'm like, but wait, I'm really scared when I have to, like, leave him alone and go to work. And then it goes another, oh, wait. And I'm like, we're never going back to work, so whatever.

[Emily Didonato]

No, I'm over even trying to predict what's next.

[Fran]

Totally. It's really impossible. You just gotta do what we're told. And right now, like, having a dog. So nice. I mean, I'm so, like, I obviously cannot, like, get a dog right now. I don't even live in my own home. Like, it's just not you just bringing.

[Rhea]

A dog to your boyfriend's house. Yeah.

[Fran]

I'd be like, sorry, sorry, Joe's mom. Like, here's a puppy. And I've already tried to convince her to get a puppy, and she's like, no shot. So I've already tried, and it absolutely failed. But I like quasi. I feel like I have Rhea's dog. I only got to meet him once because we haven't been around each other as much, obviously, but can't wait to spoil that guy, right?

[Rhea]

And you can follow all the dog Instagrams in the world, and then you feel like you have dog.

[Emily Didonato]

Did you start your dog Instagram? I'm, like, ashamed by how kind of entertained I am by, like, creating a personality for my dog.

[Fran]

I feel to me like Rhea spoke to me in her dog's voice yesterday when we were recording our show, and she was like, I am so sorry.

[Rhea]

I wanted to die. I was like, this is just not me. And also, this, like, it honestly cracks me up because I will. I started the dog Instagram, and I didn't want to at first because I was like, I don't want to subject him to this life. But then I was like, okay, he has no idea. But now I log on, and I genuinely get so much joy out of interacting with the other dog. Acting like I'm the dog. And I'm like, this is so creepy and weird. But I'm also having the time of my life.

[Emily Didonato]

I feel the exact same way. My DMs are full of other dogs, and I'm just loving it. I also love that there's, like, no pressure behind my dog's Instagram account, whereas my own. I feel like there's, like, a little more thought and effort into it. I'm just like, this is adorable, and I'm gonna share it with the entire world. Other fun fact about my dog, bringing it back to SI swimsuit. My dog is Olivia Culpo's dog's sister here from the same dog.

[Rhea]

Oh, my God.

[Fran]

I was gonna say that the dogs, like, looked really similar, but I. But, I mean, how was I supposed. Like, I was like, wow, Emily got a dog that looks just like Olivia's dog. That's so crazy.

[Emily Didonato]

So crazy. We were in a group chat talking about it, and it was Larry. She's like, well, I'm doing this, this, and this. And I was like, oh, really? I've been sleeping on the floor, like, with my finger in the cage. Should I not be doing that? And she's like, no.

[Rhea]

You should be. That's what I've been doing. They got it. They got it. They got to be crate trained. I read a lot about this. A lot of people DM me. They were like, if you put the dog in the bed with you from the first day, that dog is never getting out of that bed. Also a little dangerous to have a puppy in the bed when you're sleeping.

[Emily Didonato]

Totally. So I'm keeping her in the crate, but I have been sleeping on the floor. And, like, I'm just like, you don't even appreciate this, and you never will be able to. I'm so tired.

[Fran]

Rhea actually put, like, one of her own T shirts in the crate with him, and he, like, he snuggled up and went right to sleep. So maybe that's a good. Maybe that'll work for your pup, too.

[Emily Didonato]

That's adorable.

It was on my heartstrings, even the first couple nights when she was crying, still my. And someone was like, oh, she misses her mom. I was literally like, I can't. I can't compute that. It's like, it makes me too emotional, and I can't. I'm her mom.

You are now her mom. She only misses you. There's nobody else in the picture. That's it.
