B
It's chicks in the office with reann Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Monday, everybody. Hopefully you had a lovely weekend. Whatever you were doing, relaxing, going out, just doing nothing. Hopefully it was fantastic. It's Monday now, off to another week. How are we feeling?
A
Great. It was a lovely weekend.
B
Yeah, gorgeous.
A
Really. It was quite nice. I feel like we had a lot of rain towards the end of last week, so it was nice to have some. Some sunshine. Good vibes. Good times.
B
Yes, yes. All around.
A
Yeah, I had a great weekend. I have no complaints. I ready for the week. And now, I mean, summer's here. It's moral day weekend.
B
It is a moral day weekend. Although, you know what? The weather is never good on the weekend anymore. It's gonna be trash.
A
Never looks bad. It looks bad. Cold.
B
Yeah, it looks cold and rainy and whatever.
A
But this weekend, that's okay.
B
No, it's fine.
A
Yeah.
B
Who cares? Who gives a shit? Summer's around the corner.
A
Exactly. Exactly.
B
It's right here. What'd you do this weekend?
A
I.
B
Know what you do.
A
A multitude of things. I did a multitude of things.
B
Friday.
A
Kelly Keegs and I went to a vintage show in the city, which then you also went on Saturday. And really cool. Manhattan vintage show. They do it a few times a year. And it was nice. Cause it was, you know, in my area, so it was very easy. That was a fun Friday. I had a. I went to a welcome party for a wedding Friday night. Despite, like, we had already had plans to be out of the city on Saturday. The wedding was in the city, so we couldn't be at the wedding. But we were there Friday. So we're like, oh, we'll go. We'll go Friday. So we did that, which was a lot of fun. They had the Knicks sign, whole big thing. Great time. And Saturday we were out in New Jersey. Bridget's birthday, down in the Highlands. Took Olive on the sea streak. She was fantastic. Little dog at the bar, ears blowing in the wind. Oh, she was so cute. I mean. Yeah. And we had a blast and came back Saturday night. Like, was just such a fun little. Fun little day trip, really. Just the timing. I think we missed that ship hitting the Brooklyn Bridge. Yeah. By like 30 minutes.
B
Yeah. Like, that was insane.
A
We're on the sea streak, which, if you don't know, is just a, you know, ferry that goes. Honestly, they go all over the place. You can take the C Streak to Martha's Vineyard. You can take the C Streak to New Jersey. And we love taking the sea streak to the Highlands, because that's right where, you know, that's right where we're going. And we're pulling up through the. You know, up through the river, and we're going past Pier 17, and, like, the ship is docked next to Pier 17. It's a Mexican naval ship. So the giant Mexico. The giant Mexican flag on the back. And it was a beautiful ship. So we were like, oh, my God. Wow, look at that. Yeah. And we get home and look at Twitter, and they're like, oh, my God. This ship, like, just went right.
C
Yeah.
A
Just honestly, really sad to see people die. It was really scary, and it was just like, oh, my God. I think I missed that maybe by 30 minutes. And it looked like people in Brooklyn, because we were coming in. It was such a gorgeous day. We were like, look, there was so many people outside on that side of the river, especially in Brooklyn, in the park and everything. And then seeing these videos of people, and it literally looked like the ship was, like, veering into the edge of, you know, edge of Brooklyn. I was like, oh, my God. So we got off the C streak home, and then Sunday, I was really gonna take a chill day. And there was a. Matt James had a food festival in Brooklyn, and he had invited everybody. He was very nice. And it just so happened that my friend. One of my friends had sent it to me on Instagram, like, earlier in the week. It was like, oh, my God, what is this? Like, we should go. It's like, oh, we can go. Do you want to go? And we. She had plans that we were going to go. We weren't going to go. Went back and forth. Sunday morning, she was like, do you still want to go? So I was like, oh, sure, let's go. We walk in. It was really cool. A lot of, like, great food, great vendors, a lot of people that I should have, like, knew would be there were there, and I was excited to see them. And we're hanging out, and west was there. So Wes and I really got to break the ice for, like, the first time ever. We got to really sit down and be like, you know what? Let's. Let's talk. Let's talk. How we feeling? You know, where are you at? Where am I at? You know, it's. We had a lot of laughs. We had a great time, and one might say bury the hatchet. If there was. There wasn't even really one to bury, to be honest.
B
Well, to be honest, I. I'll say it what it was. I don't really even know how to describe this, but there was at one point, I think this was last year.
A
Yeah, it was like the beginning of last season.
B
The beginning of last season. We might have mentioned it, but like we thought on the first season of Summer House ever, you know, before the whole Sierra thing, we were like, oh my God, Wes is so funny. Da da da da. And like the way that he reached out to our booking team about coming on our show was like, in a way that we were like. Like he said like those chicks or something. Like something like we were like, huh, like he didn't like whatever. And then somebody comment on. Commented on his TikTok and he was like, like being like he could work at barstool. And he wrote back something like he said, that's not. That's not a compliment.
A
And so we were like, you're so funny. You like you would be great at barstool.
B
And he was like, that's not a compliment. So then we were like.
A
Which I told him to his face yesterday. We were talking about it and I was like, look, like that. And. And I said, hey, we really wanted to have you on. And then we saw that. We were like, you know what? He's not coming on. Yeah, we.
B
Yeah, we really.
A
And. And we were laughing and just a long. And it's. It's kind of nuanced, it's kind of silly. It's just funny. Like, you know, he used to work at Bleacher Report. Now he's a complex. There is just this like kind of deep rooted, pretty pet, like petty like feelings back and forth. You know, in the early days, Dave and Big Cat would really make fun of Bleacher Report and like the content that they were doing and vice versa. Like the Bleach Report people didn't like the barstool. It was the whole thing. So he was like, ah, like I kind of had those ideas. And he was saying that actually like I guess he had made a video at Bleacher Report when he like first started and he was really young and David Big Cat like made fun of the video and you know, he held.
B
A little chip and just like we did about his comments.
A
Exactly. He had a little chip. He had a little chip. So we were laughing about it and yeah, we were just. We were just having a good time laughing and Wes was supposed to do this wing eating competition and I didn't really tell Anybody. Oh, she's jumping down. I didn't really tell anybody that I was. She is shedding so much recently. I did give her a bath last.
B
Night, probably because the weather is getting warmer.
A
And I didn't, like, I didn't tell anybody, like, oh, I'm. I'm going to come to the festival, whatever. And they're getting ready to do the win competition. I'm like. And Wes is like, you got to do it. I'm like, no. I'm like, no, I really don't. I really don't want to do this. After I was asked for, like, the third or fourth time, I was like, all right, you know what I'll do? I'll do it. I'll go up there, I'll eat a very ladylike amount of wings, not hurt myself, and. And be fine. And that's what I did. The wings were, honestly delicious. They were, but they were, like, a little too saucy for a wing eating competition. They were sitting in a pool, sauce. I didn't have a hair tie. Like, so many things. You're like, I'm trying to eat these wings. I had four wings. Was a very appropriate amount.
B
Yeah, that's a low number for a contest.
A
It absolutely is. We were given 15 wings and two minutes. So it was like, right, if you can eat all 50, only one guy ate all 15.
B
Gotcha.
A
But no, they were. They were honestly delicious wings, but they were a little, like, jerk. They were jerk spiced, so there was a little kick to them, but they were delicious.
B
Yeah, that sounds good.
A
But it was fun. It was a good time. And, yeah, you know, maybe Wes will come on the show.
B
I was gonna say we can talk about it with him on the show. That would probably be funny.
A
But it definitely. It definitely was.
B
Yeah.
A
I woke up, I took a deep.
B
Nap on Sunday, and I woke up and I. I had text messages from you and a voice note.
A
Yeah.
B
But I checked my Instagram first and I looked at your story and I was like, is that for him? You know, wing eating contest?
A
And I was.
C
I had the same reaction, and I was confused.
B
But then I went to my messages and I had a voicemail from you explaining all of this. So I was like, oh, my God. Okay. I thought I was still dreaming. I was like, what? I'm looking at Fran into eating in a wing eating contest right now. But it was really funny because, I mean, I have to talk about this.
A
No, we had a very. We had a very summer house filled weekend.
B
I have to talk about this. But we Had a wedding Friday. One of Matt's friends from high school got married. Lovely wedding, lovely night. Hung out with some friends on Thursday night, Friday, and then Saturday, we had a good, like, New York City night. We went to Emilio's Blotto for dinner. And then we. Which is just. Is so good. I had amazing wings there. Chicken wings with, like, some spicy peppers. It was actually. Aren't they so good? Oh, my God, they were.
A
I would never think to order those there. So we.
B
When they said the specials.
A
Yeah. I looked at the.
B
I looked at the group. I said, you guys thinking what I'm thinking about these wings?
A
Yeah.
B
And Leah and Ryan were like, you know what? We whispered to each other, should we get the wings? So we got the wings. Fantastic, fantastic wings. And we were going to Little Sister after, which is a club in New York City. And we meet up with Kelly and Tommy. And, you know, we had, you know, some of Matt's friends are with us. And.
A
No Noah.
B
No Noah. Cause he was at a bachelor party. And we get to the club, we have our little section, and I look to my right, and in comes walking in, Lexi Wood and her entire family. I'm not kidding. I felt like I was dreaming because Lexi walked in with her mom, her sister, her dad. It was just them at the section next to us.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
And I genuinely felt like I was having an out of body. I had to sit down. I was like, oh, my God. Because me and some of the other girls I was with, you know, they watched Summer House, and they were like, no.
A
It feel like it's very life imitating art. You're like, oh, my God. All they do is talk about how Lexi's with her family and now family. And here she is with her family. Yes.
B
And I was like, I cannot believe this is happening right now.
A
Yeah. And I'm watching this in real life. This. They're joking about her going to the club with her parents. Here she's at the club with her parents, right?
B
And I was like, oh, my God, it is happening. It is happening right in front of my eyes.
A
Doing the thing. She's doing it.
B
She's say the line. That's what it felt like.
C
Leonardo DiCaprio.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
He's like, yeah, that's literally what I felt like. And I just lost it. I was like, I cannot believe this is happening. But I just couldn't believe it. I was like, oh, my God. I'm watching the TV show in real life right next to me. And I texted you, no less than 20 times about it.
A
I did. I did. I did wake up. It was like text. It was like 1:00am, 3:00am, 4:00am like, it was like.
B
It was like.
A
I was.
B
Separate occasions.
A
Yeah. I was very much asleep. Yeah. But I did laugh when I woke up and got to, like, watch it all happen again.
B
Yeah, I really was. I was, you know, like you said, life imitating art.
A
Yeah.
B
I just couldn't believe my eyes.
A
Holy shit. She's doing it.
B
Yeah, she's doing the thing. So that was. That was very funny. So then when you were with west on Sunday, I was like, oh, my gosh. We're really. We're in the show.
A
I know.
B
We're in the show right now.
A
Yeah.
B
But really spectacular weekend. There's a new bagel.
A
Wes was asking if we would ever want to go out.
B
Oh, my God.
A
For a party.
B
Did you tell him we're going to be there for my birthday?
A
Yeah, I did. I did. Yeah, I did. No, I was laughing because he was. He was joking. Like, he was just like. I was like, would it be weird, though, like, if we came and then, like, I said, re and I's biggest thing is, like, if we go and then, like, Paige and Amanda are like, what the fuck Are you, like, Sam, Paige, Amanda, Sierra, like, what the fuck are you guys doing here? We're like, oh, Weston dressing in.
B
Yeah. Right, right. It's like, where. How you guys get invited here? What are you doing?
A
I think it would be fun to go.
B
I think it would be, too. But.
A
Yeah, but I said to him, I said, I don't know if it's like, I love watching it so much. I'm like, I don't know if I want to break the wall. Well, right.
B
It's like McDonald's. Like, I don't want to see how it's made.
A
Exactly.
B
You know?
A
Exactly.
B
Just give it to me.
A
Exactly. Like, I love hanging out with them all people, like, the cast members, like, in and around New York. But, like, when they're actually filming the show.
B
Right.
C
I feel like. I feel like when. Like, in Space Jam, when you're like, he, like, went into that world, you'd be like, whoa.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I like when it happens naturally and, like, family walks into the club and you're like, whoa, how did you guys get here?
A
And they're like. Like, watching them film the show is like, Then you're.
B
What?
A
You're watching the sauce sausage get made, you know?
B
Right. Exactly. Yeah. Honestly. Lovely weekend, though. There's a new bagel place that opened up in. In Jersey City. That does not deliver. So it forced us to walk there, which was really nice because sometimes, you know, you wake up Sunday, you don't want to do the whole thing. I'm like, no, we're going for a grill. We had some friends sleep over.
A
So we were like, bagel spot.
B
Let's go for a walk to this new bagel spot. And oh, my gosh, it hit the spot. It hit the spot. It's called chiches. And I had a delicious latte, iced latte. And I had a French toast bagel. And it was, wow, French toast bagel.
A
I can't remember the last time I had a French toast bagel.
B
Well, we honestly woke up late, and so we got there late, and by the time we got there, they only had a couple of bagel sections left, one of them being the French toast bagel. We were like, this kind of feels like a sign. Feels like. And it just looked so good. And we were like, damn. So it was a lovely Sunday morning walk, which I'm glad I did, because then I proceeded to take a nap for four hours. You know, wake up to me a little disorienting, and then I'm watching you scarfing down wings in the middle of Brooklyn. So it was like a little, you know. But yeah, I'm feeling energized for the week, though. You know what I mean? I'm filled with energy. Even though a lot, you know, a lot of things happening this weekend. I'm ready to go. Ready for the week and then go right into Memorial Day weekend. So.
A
Hell ye.
B
Yeah. Hell yeah. Noah.
A
Noah. Bachelor party.
C
It was fun.
A
Did you hit. Did you hit up uptown?
C
So I did hit up uptown. So shout out. Uptown Social. They did hook it up for us.
A
You're welcome.
C
Yeah, it was like the same thing when we went there, like that whole section.
B
Oh, lovely.
C
They had like.
B
Oh, my God. So you were the man of the bachelor party.
A
Let me tell you there.
C
Yeah, well, he said it, not me.
A
Yeah, yeah. And everyone was like, no, no, no, no. Save the bachelor party. No, it's the.
C
Someone was like.
B
We were trying to think of what.
A
The at Uptown Social is.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
Like 10 out of 10. They are fantastic.
C
We had like light up rings on our fingers.
A
Oh, shit.
C
The confetti things. And like, wow. Yeah, it was fun. It was fun and it was like so hot. It was like 95 degrees in Charleston this whole weekend.
A
Was the groom happy with the festivities?
C
Yeah, Steve. I think he. I think he was happy.
A
Shout out Steve.
C
But yeah, it was Fun. Just went to the beach, you know, went out in Charleston where we were staying. I didn't realize, like, I'll pay. 45 minutes from, like, the main part of the.
A
Yeah, yeah. It's far from King street.
C
Far. But, yeah, it was. It was solid weekend. And then it was kind of like I took the 6am flight, so people are partying and stuff. And I was just like.
B
We were. Yeah, we were texting Noah, like four in the morning. He was on his way to the airport. We were, you know, just leaving. Like, he was so jealous. He was like, I'm so missing out and everything.
C
No, I did.
A
Yeah. I'm proud of you for making your flight.
C
Yeah, no, it was. Honestly, I didn't hate it because then I slept on it. I was in my bed, New York, and like, at 9am so then I just slept and there you go. Yeah, it was a good weekend. So.
B
Solid.
A
Love it.
B
Solid.
A
Love it.
B
All right, shall we get into the rest of the episode?
A
Yeah, let's do it.
B
Yeah. There's nothing really too crazy happening, but we'll talk about some things that's going on.
A
Some good tv.
B
Yeah, there is some good tv. Brittany Furlan. Tommy Lee split up. You know what? I thought these two crazy kids were actually. Love is Dead. I thought these two crazy kids were going to make it. Cassie's husband released a statement after, you know, the Diddy trials are happening right now. And he released a very, you know, nice moving statement. Timothy Chalamet, the king of New York, celebrating the Knicks win.
A
He is literally the king of New York.
B
He really is. He is on top of the world right now.
A
I was. I was literally about to go. I'm on top of the world.
B
That is like, I bet he's just, like, beaming every single day. He's so happy. And we have the weekly watch report, so let's get into it.
A
They don't make it easy to buy concert tickets these days. You gotta sign up for the presale, get in the queue, and by the time you get through, the best seats are gone. Going to a concert should be about the show itself, not waiting in a virtual line. Lucky for us, we have game time. B
So it seems as though Brittany Furlan and Tommy Lee are splitting up. I thought, you know, what's crazy? Like, I for some reason thought that these two just, you know, they've been.
A
Together for a while.
B
They've been together for a while. And I thought. I thought, did Tommy Lee meet his match in he never will freak world? No, he won't. Because I honestly think he's just not the best of guys. And I think we know that. And it's been shown, obviously documented for the world to see. So I guess this isn't the most surprising thing in the world. Yeah, but they had been together for a while, so I thought, you know, I wasn't expecting to hear it.
A
I do agree with you on that. Brittany posted a TikTok on Friday where she had said, I've been going through a lot in my marriage, which is not anyone's business. She said she's been living in a hotel amid tough times and their relationship. She claimed. Oh. She also claimed that she's been harassed by somebody on TikTok. On TikTok. On social media. She claims she was catfished on social media by someone she presumed to be following in reverse frontman Ronnie Radke. This person allegedly harassed her for two weeks. She said, I told my husband everything. I said, I've been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat. He says it's not him. Cool. Whatever. Because I'm a good person. I mean, I'm not a good person for talking to someone while I'm married, but I've been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse. So I come to clean to my husband. So it's like, sounds like she's got. There's other things going on.
B
So it sounds like she was talking to somebody who she. She didn't name the person she thought she was talking to, but she was being catfished by this man.
A
She thought it was the front man of a band and it was not.
B
And it was.
A
She's being catfished.
B
Yeah.
A
Tommy allegedly freaked out and messaged the alleged Catfish. However, the social media user said their relationship with Britney wasn't as one sided as Brittany had explained it to be. Yeah. So that I think there was more info that. That Tommy found out that he didn't like she was said that now she's asking for this use this user. She says I don't even know if she really knows who it is to. To leave her alone. She said this is embarrassing for me, embarrassing for my husband. This whole fucking thing is embarrassing. I've been struggling with shit at home and I'm in a fucking hotel. Like leave us alone, bro. I'm done. Yeah. So she was obviously not happen not happy.
B
Honestly.
A
Sounds. No anyone can think what they will all good. Yeah, it does not sound good.
B
Sounds like really tough time for her.
A
And yeah she supposed to TMZ had said that they had split after six years of marriage.
B
I can't imagine being in a hotel room alone. You got this catfish situation on your hands.
C
You.
B
You're separated from your husband. Your husband is Tommy Lee. Which can't be easy. So I think there's a lot of factors in this that are making this probably madness for her. What I would like to say though is. Or you know, speculate on. I guess it's like, okay, Brittany Furlan, she's coming clean. Being like I was messaging with this guy who I thought was this guy, but I was really being catfished. You know, the whole thing not good. Stepping out of her marriage. We believe Tommy Lee was a dedicated husband.
A
Oh, I mean, yeah. I don't know. I would lean towards. No.
B
You know.
A
You know, like I wouldn't be so.
B
Surprised if Tommy Lee was also stepping out of his marriage.
A
I definitely am more surprised that this fell on Britney's side of things. That it's like, oh, you're with Tommy Lee married, whatever. And you. I mean, gosh, that's gotta be like she said it's embarrassing. You know like that's tough. Where it's like you think you're talking to another rock star.
B
Yeah. She's got a thing for rock stars.
A
Yeah. You think you're talking to a front man.
B
Yeah.
A
Of a band. And that like maybe gives you maybe in your head you're like, ah, well you know, he's. He's also in a band. Like all these things and it's just not. Not.
B
And then you get your shit blown up.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. That's really unfortunate.
A
Yeah.
B
But also if either of them are stepping on also not good. So it's like bad all around. But Tommy Lee just Doesn't. Just has a horrible track record.
A
Correct.
B
Yeah, correct. So, yeah.
A
Yeah. So this is. You know, this is normally the part of the segment where I'd say, oh, I hope crazy kids work it out. And I don't know if. I hope not.
B
I don't really think I am either. Like, I just think, you know, that's.
A
Just the way the cookie crumbles for these two. This is how it ended.
B
Right? And I know it's like a cliche to bring up Pamela Anderson, but it is. It's like, you know, what Pamela Anderson went through with Tommy Lee, too. And we all know it, and we've all seen it. It's just. It's no good. Yeah, it's no good.
A
But did you see that quote from Lord over the weekend?
B
No, which one? I did see one quote from Lord, but it.
A
And I want to say it was that she watched the.
B
If it had to do with. If it had to do with Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson. No, I didn't see that.
A
I think it was. I think it was. She did a whole spread in Rolling Stone. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
She.
A
And she said that. That she watched Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex tape, and she was moved by how beautiful she found it. She shared the update during a new interview with Rolling Stone. I mean, she said a lot of. Kind of. What? What? Like, there was a lot of quotes that went viral from this Rolling Stone piece where people were like, question mark, question mark. She also spoke about her experiences with MDMA and other different kinds of, like, psychotherapy things, but like these. Dealing with stage fright and all these other things. But she did explain that drugs led her to a feeling, a sense of freedom in her body and mind, for reasons she wasn't aware of, led to her watching the infamous sex tape made by Anderson and Tommy Lee. I found it so beautiful, and maybe it's fucked up that I watched it, but I saw two people that were so in love with each other, and there was this purity. She said, you watched it in 2022. They were jumping off this big boat. They were like children. She added, they were so free. And I was just like, whoa, Being this free comes with danger.
C
What the fuck?
A
Yeah. So, yeah, I feel like if I.
C
Was Pamela Anderson, I'd be like, shut up.
B
Stop talking.
A
No, no.
C
Now everyone else is gonna go, right?
B
There's a lot of layers to it.
A
Because you did say, maybe I shouldn't have watched it. Right.
C
Promoting it to other people to be like, this is beautiful.
B
There's a lot of layers to It.
A
Yeah.
B
To have that reaction to it is sort of nice. Like, yeah, these two people were so in love. They loved each other so much. They filmed it. Whatever.
A
The dangers of being so free, but you don't think that that's gonna come back.
B
Yes. But at the same time, Pamela Anderson has endlessly spoken about how much this affected her life and, like, how unhappy she was with the TV show that they created about it and everything that went on that, like, it really, really disrupted her life. So, you know, it is sort of a sticky situation to bring that up.
A
Right. You're, like, knowing maybe you don't keep that one in. Yeah, yeah.
B
You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
You watched it. Keep that private.
C
Because no one was looking for Lord's opinion on their sex tape.
B
No. No one was like, we have to know Lord's opinion on Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson sex tape. Nope.
A
Yeah, we didn't. It's also just something that is so interesting to truly. You know, free will is a crazy thing to just bring up on your own.
B
Right. She wasn't asked about it because why would you be?
A
Yeah. No.
B
What world would she be asked about?
A
Why would she be? It's just something that.
C
Not new.
A
You gave that information, you just willingly.
B
Yep. On your own, your hands were not tied.
A
No.
B
They were free. And the dangers of freedom. Yeah, really.
A
Really. It all comes full circle. Really. Quite, you know.
B
It does, yeah.
A
Quite an impactful statement there. But, yeah, I saw that this weekend. I remember. That was like, oh, okay, yeah, sure, Right. It's also, like, made it sound like she had an experience with therapy or the use of drugs or whatever. And that somehow was like. Led her to be like, let me watch. Let me watch the sex tape. I don't know.
B
The mind is a funky thing. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
Where you can pop a couple shrooms or whatever it is or what did she say mdma? So I guess. What is that?
A
Yeah.
B
Molly, whatever.
A
Yeah.
B
And then you end up.
A
And your brain goes straight to Tommy Lee and Pamela.
B
Right. Your brain somehow.
A
Right. You're like, what sex tape can I get my hands on right now?
B
Yeah.
C
I've done psychedelics before and I never ended up watching their sex tape.
B
Well, yeah.
A
Never say never. No.
B
Yeah. Well, now the next time.
C
Yeah.
B
You never know.
A
Never say never. Never say never.
B
Wow. No, I didn't see that one. I saw some other quotes. That one didn't come across my desk.
A
Well, you're welcome.
B
Yes. Thank you for sharing that with the group. Yeah. So I, you know, Brittany and Tommy Brittney Furlan. We will be getting more information out of this because.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And she's someone who shares their life.
B
On social media like she has.
A
Yeah.
B
I would assume we will be getting more information about. About the situation that's going on. Maybe they'll work it out. Who's to say? Who is to say?
A

B
Obviously, the Diddy trials have been going on and Cassie testified in court in. In front of Diddy, which we can only imagine how hard that could be for Cassie to have to relive everything she went through with that monster of a man. But there has been a lot of talk about her husband and, you know, where he stands and how, you know, oh, how does he feel, you know, hearing these things? And he actually put out a very powerful statement about the situation. And it makes you feel really happy that they found each other because his statement, you know.
A
Yeah, I love what he said. It was very much in the realm of, like, you know, he did not break her, which I thought was. They put out a statement through their lawyer. He said, I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass. I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her. You did not break her spirit, nor her smile. I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie. She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her. All I've done is love her as she has loved me. Her life is now surrounded by love, laughter, and our family. This horrific chapter is forever put behind us, and we will not be making additional statements. We appreciate all the love and support we have received, and we ask that you respect our privacy as we welcome our son into a world that is now safer because of his mom.
B
Yeah.
A
Literally, like, gave me chills. I said, what a beautiful statement. Just a great example of a man being there to support his wife, standing up for his wife, but also acknowledging that, you know, she did the work, she saved herself, she got to this place that she can stand up and tell these stories and talk about all the extremely traumatic, horrifying events that she went through, and he'll be there supporting her along the way, because it is. It's some of these descriptions of the courtroom, right? Like, she's up there, he's in the room. Diddy's kids are all in the room. It's really, really pretty crazy. And of course, Diddy's. Of course they are trying to come at Cassie in so many ways of like, well, then why does she do this? And why does she say that and all these things? And it's just like. Well, it's like she was so brainwashed 100% and really, like, stuck in this cycle. And my God, what a. I know obviously there are a lot of lawyers that work for terrible, terrible people, and that is their job. But in situations like this, it really always blows my mind, like, how somebody up there defending. Yeah, no, I. I totally agree to be like, let's. You know what we're gonna do? We're gonna try and discredit Cassie in every possible way because. And let's use the fact that, yes, she was in love with him against her.
B
Right.
A
And try and say that. That, like, she was not subject to this abuse because of that.
B
Yeah, right. That can't possibly make somebody feel good to get up there and discredit this woman. Because it is so clear that she was brainwashed, she was manipulated, she was groomed by Diddy, and people want to dissect different parts of what she said and be like, well, you know, she said that she didn't want to be replaced and those things. And it's like, well, those were feelings that she felt at the time because of the abuse and manipulation that Diddy was putting on her and didn't feel.
A
Like she would have nothing without it.
B
And, like, she was. He was going to strip everything away from her. So clearly these things played a factor and messed with her mind, and now she's out of it and can reflect back on that and be like, wow, I was in such a dark, dark place. Like, he was making me believe all these things. So for some people to, like, not understand that, I don't really get. I'm like, how do you believe that she just wanted to be a part of this. Like, the things that she's saying happen. Like, how could you possibly, possibly believe that? So it is insane. But Cassie's husband releasing that statement was really powerful for everyone to read and see because people had been talking a lot about him and wondering.
A
Yeah.
B
How he felt being in the room and watching all of this. So it's great that she has a great support system by her side for such a dark time, because this really is insane. Continues to go on. More things continue to be released to the public. And wow, it just is, like, so really fucking crazy when you think that all this shit was happening behind the scenes and none of the general public knew. Like, maybe, you know, people in Hollywood or different celebrities knew what was going on, but us, the general public, having no idea, and just thinking, oh, these are a couple people in Hollywood celebrities living their life. Da da. And all this crazy, disgusting shit is happening behind the scenes. It's really just icky. It really is. So.
A
Absolutely.
B
Yeah, absolutely.
A
And I hope that, like, Alex said that, you know, Cassie can move on. She is obvious. We know she's obviously pregnant right now. They're gonna have a son very soon and just, like, live in her current reality with a beautiful family.
B
Yes. Yeah, absolutely. Moving on. Big week for New York. The Knicks.
A
Yeah.
B
Tim of the Knicks, Chalamet King of New York. King of New York, truly. I mean, he was being pulled out of cars. Like, the videos of.
A
Video of him riding through New York City out the window. Like his bodyguards, like, grabbing his ankles.
B
And Timothy Chalamet, skinny little boy, he could have been yanked out of that car.
A
Let me tell you something. Timothee Chalamet could have been yanked out of that car and crowd surfed from, like, 34th and 7th to, like, 28th and 7th.
B
Yeah. It was packed.
A
Like, he. They would have carried him down the block like he was Jesus Christ himself.
B
No, and they. And honestly, they should have. And his security should have just let him do it. Like, if you think people.
A
They would have just. He would have crowd served down the whole thing. Yeah.
B
Oh, I think people would have treated Timothy with respect. Like, I think they propped him up and they should have just let him be carried down the streets of New York City instead of being dragged. His security guard was pulling him back in the car because people were just yanking at him. But he wanted to be a part of it.
A
Oh, yeah. And he was pumped.
B
He was pumped. You know, the. I think maybe that's part of the reason the energy in New York Right now is just top notch. People are excited, they're happy. So seeing this is really funny. And I can't wait to continue watching Timothy Chalamet's journey in watching the Knicks. And honestly, I just really hope he doesn't get his heartbroken because.
A
I know, right?
B
Poor little Timmy.
A
I got worried because I almost felt like Kylie Jenner was like a good luck charm. Like things were like they were going to games together and then, you know, Kylie's out on vacation now turn Kendall are frolicking wherever they are.
B
Yeah.
A
And I was like, oh, no, get back to the game. You're missing. You're missing game six. But, you know, obviously it worked out and I'm sure she'll be back for. For this next series.
B
But when does it start?
A
Wednesday.
C
Game 1 is Wednesday.
A
Wednesday, yeah. Yeah. So should be very interesting. They no Indian? No.
C
Who's a higher seat?
A
Yeah. Indiana.
C
Maddie would know New York. So it's in New York on Wednesday.
A
What seat is Indiana?
C
They're like, are they five, four or five?
A
Okay, okay.
C
But it is funny because we work so closely to msg. So some. Sometimes now I'm like, oh, I gotta walk. I gotta walk a couple avenues over just to like avoid msg because it's.
B
Just chaos around us. We are very, very close.
A
It really is. It really is. But Timothy, Russell Wilson, Jordan woods, they all went out Friday night with fellow Knicks teammates. They were all there. Several are all the starters, all the big names. Source told Page Six. This is like somebody who just clearly loves the Knicks. The team really is best friend vibes. They just wanted to celebrate together and they really love each other.
B
Oh, yeah, that's sweet. That is nice.
A
But apparently they headed down to Chez Margaux. Me pack. Me packing. District's private members club, which apparently Taylor Swift has also frequented. Despite being in a celebratory mood, though, we're told the Knicks players turned down offers slash a handful of members at the Lux Social Club made to send them complimentary bottles of champagne. They are locked in and we're just there to celebrate the win. A lot of them were in drinking. They share the bottles with their fans instead. They're very appreciative and thankful for their fans, for this city. For this city.
B
Yeah.
A
So that's so exciting. It is very exciting. It is great energy in New York, I will say. I know it's. As somebody that doesn't always root for the Knicks. Like right now I'll root for the Knicks and my husband is a big Knicks fan, so yeah, it was, it was very, very. It was, it was fun to see, you know, who was like, his cousin is like the biggest Knicks fan ever. It was also his birthday.
B
Birthday.
A
Yes, I saw that on Friday, game six. I've never seen someone happier in my darling.
B
Yeah, that's a good, that's a good birthday. That's a good day.
A
Really? Never seen anybody happier. Yeah, no, 100%. And it's great. And you love, it's great energy. You know, you're walking up and down the street. I came on Friday and I had a little buzz on, but it was, the game had just ended and people were kind of trickling down the blocks down 7th Avenue. I took out olive out and anybody in a shirt, I was like, hey, go Knicks.
B
You're just throwing them out left and right.
A
And they were going, ah, yeah, Bing bong. Everyone screaming bing bong. Down the street. You know, the whole thing. So it's good vibes. I'm hoping Timothy is courtside for every game. I'm sure he will be.
B
He better be.
A
Yeah. I can't imagine he won't.
B
No, I think he's canceling all his plans. If, if Timothy has any plans in the near future, I'm sure he's told his, his agents, managers that he can not attend. He, he has other things on his schedule going on for sure.
A
Absolutely. Absolutely.
B

Caught up on the studio. I love this show.
A
So good.
B

A
So funny. Zoe Kravitz eating the chocolate.
B
No, it was so good.
C
Dave Franco is hilarious.
B
Oh, my God. And it just. It was top notch. I gave it all three episodes an A. I just love anything having to do behind the scenes movie making. Like, I just love it. Like, well, it reminds me of Entourage. It's just like, I love it, so I give it an A.
A
You know, I also love Katherine Hahn is so funny.
B
Oh, she's so funny. The Golden Globes episode, I was crying, laughing with the Sal Sapper scene and I just wanted.
A
That's me.
B
That's me. I. I honestly was dying and I gotta be honest, you mentioned how you were getting annoyed by Seth Rogen's character more. Yeah, I'm actually getting less annoyed by his character because I've.
A
Now it's gone up and down.
B
No, because in the beginning I was like, oh, my God, he's so annoying. But now that I've learned that, like, okay, this is just his character. Yeah, yeah, that I'm.
C
The Golden Globes episode was just the one where I was like, oh, my gosh.
B
Yeah, well, you're just.
C
You cringe, so.
B
Yeah, you cringe.
A
And the koolaid episode, also so funny.
B
I mean, that. The episode was top notch. It was so funny. But I give it an A all around. I love it. I wish I had more episodes to watch. I'm gonna be upset when it ends.
C
What's his Adam. Adam Scott like? Did a full Instagram post.
B
Oh, no, I didn't see that.
C
Like, Sal Saperstein.
B
Oh, no, I did. That's very funny though. No, that. That episode, all of them were top notch. And I just fucking love Zoe Kravitz.
C
So, yeah.
B
Amazing.
A
Him just non stop going, it's an old school.
B
Which is like, hey, Bryce, the amount of times I'm gonna use that. It's an old school Hollywood buffet.
A
Old school Hollywood buffet. He's like, I told you it's not.
B
An old school Hollywood.
C
He, like, came back into the hotel room and she's like, oh, like, I've missed you for hours. He's like, it's been like one minute.
A
It'S been 30 seconds.
B
So good. So good. Your friends and neighbors.
C
I just watched. Caught up to.
B
I'm. I'm on episode six now, I think of a couple. We watched two last night, so I'm still behind. I'll give that a six.
A
Seven.
C
I think there's eight. Seven out.
A
Oh, seven.
B
No, I think there's eight.
C
Eight is this week.
B
Oh, okay. So we're. I think we watched six. I'll give it a B minus. I think it's a good, you know, solid watch.
C
That's all.
B
Solid.
A
Watch some classic John Hamm.
B
Yeah, Just.
A
I haven't watched it yet.
B
I. You know, I don't. God, I'll say it. Okay. There's, like, a scene. I'm probably gonna want to cut this. There's a scene where, like, they're. He's having sex, whatever, and she's like, your dick is so big. And I just immediately. They started thinking back to those. John. Remember when it was like, Jon Hamm.
A
Like, John Ham does have a big dick.
B
Yeah. Like, it was like a thing. Like, John. No, I think it's Don Ham.
A
I think it's known.
B
Right.
A
And people see.
B
I brought this up.
A
People see this.
B
I brought this up recently.
A
People see the. The bulls.
B
I brought this up recently to you guys privately off the show, because I was telling Matt about it.
C
I was like, have you heard of this?
B
I was like, have you ever heard of Jon Hamm having. You got dick? Well, yes. No. No.
A
I don't know why I'm acting like he chucked. I heard it.
B
You have.
A
You have 100.
B
I brought it up to Max. I was like, you don't know about John Ham?
A
Yeah.
B
You haven't heard about John Ham's dick? And he was like, no, I haven't.
A
Oh, my God, the gray pants.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah.
B
And I brought it up in. In, like, our group chat. And. No. And Kelly was like, duh.
C
Surprised. No.
B
But Noah was like, I didn't know about this thing. Nobody was in, like, 2017. It was like a thing. Like, Jonah was being talked about a lot.
A
Yes.
B
So sicko over here in my head, when she was like, oh, my God, your dick is so big. I was like, jon, here we are again. Yeah, here we are.
A
Probably put that line in himself.
B
That's what I was thinking. I was like, did. Is this a Easter egg? Because of the talk? Because I think maybe he made a joke about it once.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
It really did become a thing because of those pictures.
A
Viral. Because of the pictures.
B
Yeah. Okay. So I'M no pervert.
A
It was a thing. No, no.
B
Thank you. Paul American.
A
Yeah. Oh, I haven't caught up. I'm not caught up.
B
Oh, were we gonna talk about Logan Paul's TikTok?
A
Oh, damn.
B
So Logan Paul got us.
A
He got us real.
B
He sniped us. Logan Paul sniped us. He sniped Claudia, he sniped Grace, a couple other people.
A
Yeah.
B
Talking about Paul American. And he made a tick tock compilation. And it starts off with Frank.
C
That was Logan Paul.
B
It was Logan Paul's TikTok.
A
I mean, Logan Paul I'm sure didn't make it himself.
B
Logan Paul posted that.
A
He posted on.
C
Logan Paul's TikTok sent that. And I just like. I was like, oh, yeah, it's like a fan. Like, compliment.
A
No, no, no, no, no.
B
TikTok.
A
Literally. Rhea's like, I'll. I cried. I'll admit it.
B
He was like, I'm embarrassed to say. I even cried. I'm like, are you fucking seriously? We got.
A
It's me opening the video, opening on Fran.
B
And then I'm like, I cried. We got sniped by the Pauls. They know how the Internet works.
A
And you know what? Marketing. Once again, the machine. We're watching how the machine works and this is how they do their job. And we got pulled into the machine.
B
We did.
A
We got pulled into the machine. And whose fault is that?
B
Can I say? You are wearing an arm cast right now.
A
I know. I was sitting weird.
B
Okay. Ariana Grande.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, wow. It looked like you broke your arm, Paul American. Why am I blanking on which episode was this week?
A
It would have been seven or eight, I think.
B
Oh, it was the episode.
C
This was. It was the one Last week it was eight.
B
With the one where post birth. So, yeah, where Logan's like, my baby's first flight is on a private jet to go see her uncle fight Mike Tyson. It was that one, I think.
C
I haven't watched him.
A
I haven't watched, so I don't know. I can't. I'm behind.
B
You guys are behind on Paul.
C
I gave up on.
A
Sadly, I. I've only watched episode seven.
C
Not gave up. I just like. It just isn't in my rotation anymore. I don't know what happened. I just.
B
Well, you ain't making the tick tock cut.
A
Seriously. No, you're not being used as free promotion.
B
I'll get right. We were used. We deserve to get paid for that.
C
Well, it would be funny if you like.
A
We willingly gave it out there.
C
Any of the like, any more of the recaps? Because all the other stuff is just like, Logan, Paul's an asshole. Fuck.
B
Right? I mean, I'm sure they've heard some of that too. Yeah, but you're not going to use that in it. I'll give it a bag.
A
Yeah.
C
You know, high praise.
B
Not real. I mean, B is like, it's, you know, it's good.
A
Yeah. The reality TV scale, what do you think?
C
It hasn't Rotten Tomatoes?
B
I don't know. A 99. I'm kidding.
A
I mean, Grace made a good point. Like, it is, like, it's very well made, production wise.
B
A43.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, yeah. Reality, you know, sometimes.
A
Yeah. I can't imagine, like, reality TV ever get a super high.
B
Yeah. I'll give it a B. Summer House.
A
Yeah. Big breakup.
B
I'll give this a B. Minus. I don't know. I'm kind of just like, sick of this storyline.
A
And it might be because every episode I keep thinking it's the finale because I'm like, when I'm excited for the finale.
B
Because we need some other things to talk about besides Jesse and Lexi. And I also think it's because Jackie. Jackie. Wow. What? Could have been.
A
Jackson's a good one.
B
Could have been with just Jesse and Lexi. The press run that they're both on has made it even.
A
It's not helped.
B
No. Has not helped.
A
Especially on.
B
Especially on Jesse's part. It's like he really seen the clips.
A
Of him on Tinks.
B
Yes.
A
It's awful. I've just been. I've just been seeing clips and my God. I mean, granted, they're like fan clips.
B
Yeah.
A
But like, so I'm sure they're trying to, like, they're putting out the worst moments on purpose. But one, the.
B
The.
A
The chemistry between the two of them was weird, I thought.
B
I'm not sure I picked up on that because I didn't, like, watch enough to, like, pick up on some chemistry. Chemistry In a good way or bad?
A
No. Kind of bad. I don't know. Just felt like, I don't know, a little awkward. But there was one going viral about him talking about it getting a cat during COVID And then he re homed the cat.
B
Yeah.
A
Not yet. You're gonna get crushed for that one, pal. You're gonna re. She was like, you re home the cat.
B
Yeah.
A
He's like, yeah, he's off with, like, with other cats and like, a family and, like, it's better. Better off. I'm like, well, I'm sure. But, you know, I know, you made a very. You know, you weren't. It was Covid. It's not like you were 16.
B
Right. I know.
A
He's also talking about the next person he wants to date. He's dreaming big, so good for him. But he was like, you know, maybe. Maybe a musician, actress, somebody in. Well, he's. Entertainment fields. He needs somebody that's, like, career driven.
B
The way that he was.
A
Just sometimes the way he words.
B
The way that he was wording it, being like, you know, the girls in the past I've dated, like, it's fine, like, whatever, but, like, I'm looking for somebody who's like, you know, career. About their career. So, like, maybe like, like, basically he was just saying he just wants to date somebody who's in the public eye.
A
Like, he was like.
B
It was like, okay, you. I feel like he could have worded in a way where he was like, it would be nice to date somebody who, like, you know, could understand the. The lifestyle I live or something. Like, that would probably be better than the way he worded it in which he worded. He kind of made it seem like girls who have other jobs that are not active.
A
Yeah. It just hasn't been good. It wasn't good on Watch Rabbits Live either. I feel like we just had this, like, I feel like Andy.
C
I saw that clip. I was like, it's the.
A
I feel like Andy relived the same moment we had with him on the podcast of, like, you were jealous of west and Lexi. He's like, no, no, no. I was excited. And we're like, no, you weren't. And Andy was like, did you watch it?
B
Like, I know, but it's like they're more like, Wes was sitting there more in a position to be like, no, Jesse, that's not what happened. Which I was like, you know, we weren't in a position to be like, that's not what happened because we weren't there.
A
Yeah, no, of course.
B
I don't know. You know, sometimes I'm happy people aren't, like, PR media trained.
A
Yeah.
B
And then other times, I'm like, man, they could use a little.
A
I know, right? I know. I will say, I don't know, like, Lexi's whole breakup with him on the show. Fine. Fair. Like, they fair breakup. Like, you guys should break up. But it did feel like you're, like, really coming for him as, like, a liar and all these different things. And I'm like, I don't know if it was. I just don't know it was that serious. It's just like, that's what it's like. Very strong personal commentary on someone you've known for like four weeks. I just, so just the whole thing really blew up so, so much. I think Jesse's not been handling it well.
B
No.
A
At all.
B
No.
A
And you know, Lexi totally can feel the way that she wants to feel. I don't really think, at least from a viewer perspective, I don't really think that Jesse is the reason why Lexi like didn't end up close with the other girls. I think Lexi is denying on camera a lot of like the commentary about Ciara. We don't really know the truth because it's like Lexi saying she's not saying it, Jesse saying she is saying it. But the way at the table right at the end when she was like, you know, like, I don't trust you. It's like you've definitely said some things and you're trying to hide it.
B
And I also think we're watching the show so things could be cut out. But we're never really seeing at the end of the night Lexi going to try to hang out with the girls.
A
No.
B
Or, you know, whatever. We're just.
A
I don't think that's Jesse's fault.
B
No. And you're right. I think she's just going right into bed with Jesse and that's what she was focused on. She, you know, liked this boy and that's what she was focused on or whatever. But if you wanted to like make relationships with the girls, you probably could have spent a little more time, I think, trying instead of focusing on what Jesse was doing every night, which then would maybe. I don't know, it's very confusing because when we don't see everything, it's like, well, was she trying? It's not. Yeah, we're seeing. I don't really know. But sometimes I think people like to blow things up as if it's a sample, the end of another scale.
A
Right.
B
Like the way that people react and treat like Jesse and Lexi and the whole thing. And I'm like, all right, Jesse's a boy, he up. He didn't treat her right. He did some shitty things. This little press stories on. He's not saying the right. And Lexi's on a whole media tour as well. But the way that people are treating it feels like, okay, this feels way blown up than like it actually is.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like, let's just, let's chalk it up as like he's a fuck boy and he treated her shitty and they should Both just move on from this. Yeah, you know. Yeah, we all know it. Like it's very clear his actions. Not good.
A
Yeah.
B
So I'll give that a B minus. Armani beauty believes in enhancing your natural beauty, giving you a lit from within glow. A
What the helly?
B
What the heli. Well, first of all, we put the Valley on and I fell asleep. And then the next day I was like, oh, we gotta watch the Valley. And Matt's like, yeah, we got that one episode. I said, what do you mean we got that one episode? We got like three episodes while she's like, I watched him when he fell asleep. I'm like, are you me? You are you. I fell asleep. Usually when I fall asleep and a show's on, he shuts it off because he's like, oh, well. What? I'm like, you were so into this that you kept it on. He's like, I was. He's like, I can't even deny it. He's like, these people are nuts. Yeah, these people are nuts.
C
I'm just picturing you sleeping in Marty, like eating popcorn, right?
B
He's like kicking his feet in bed like, oh my God, like, what's happening?
A
So locked in the Valley.
B
So locked into the Valley. I mean, seriously, what is wrong with these people? What the hell is wrong with these grown adults at this grown age to be acting the way that they do? It's insane.
A
I know.
B
It's incredible television, of course. But it's just like.
A
I know. Wow. I know. I mean, I mean, look.
B
Wow. I'm actually speechless. Like, I don't even have a correct name.
A
Sneaking tequila in the pantry and being too drunk. He can't go to dinner. And they're all talking shit the way Britney. I know. Then Brittany got Brit. I mean, Britney, that was projection and a lash out. And I'm sure she would acknowledge that. And she knows that. She's like, how come I have to fucking air out every single thing about my relationship? And Danny's passed Out drunk. And he is like, oh, he's just tired.
B
I mean. Yeah, it was just like. But Brittany was, like, going, no, it was too much.
A
It was just. It was.
B
Well, yeah, you know, it was a.
A
Little unfair, I think, because it's like, as much as we understand, she's not being like, ah, he's passed out drunk. They all know he's passed out drunk. Also, his viewers, we can watch.
B
Right.
A
We see it. We see that he's passed out drunk. Like, we're not gonna be like, oh, he's so tired. He can't get out of bed. Like, that's not a thing. No, he's drunk.
B
He's drunk.
A
Yes. So fell asleep. Yeah. But I think they were all, like. They were all drinking, so that could have been a drunk lash out from Brittany.
B
Yeah. You know, Jesse and Michelle, I mean, Lord, why did people ask more questions about the gay guy depositing money into his bank account? It was like. That was kind of like.
A
Yeah. Andy brought it up again on Watch Happens Live. He was just like, yeah, it was a birthday gift from a friend. Yeah.
B
And it was just like, the way it all went down. It was like, how do. Like, sometimes you ask yourself, like, how do people end up hating each other this much? I know people who were in love, you know, And I know it happens all the time.
A
Yeah.
B
But, like, two people who, you know, got married and the whole thing, and they just end up despising.
A
Yeah.
B
Throwing drinks and calling each other whores and. And, like, you know, throwing dirt on the name left and right. And they're like, jesse, can you just clear up that she's the mother of your child? Yeah. And she's like, can you just clear up that Michelle is not a hooker? It's like, what am I. What am I hearing right now?
A
And he's like, yeah, I know.
B
I made it out of that.
A
Sorry. It's like, why?
B
And then. And then she's like, if anything, you have something to hide. A gay man is depositing money into your account on your birthday. It's like, okay, I forgot who it was. Who, like, in the confessional was like, huh?
A
Yeah. Excuse me.
B
What do we just, like, what's going on? Like, things are just so.
A
Yeah, things are getting thrown out left to right. The money thing is clearly, obviously a deep part of this as well. And I feel like they keep. They're. They keep using.
B
I actually laughed. I laughed hard when Zach was like, no, we don't want him, Michelle. Don't try to pin him on us. Yeah, we don't want him.
A
Yeah, yeah. No, very, very true. But, yeah, quite a hellish trip to Santa Barbara.
B
Yeah. Not really relaxing or any. I mean, you know, the. The Valley gets probably an A minus.
A
Yeah, it's up there. It's good.
B
It's up there. You just feel little shitty, you know, like people's lives like this, but they're signing. They're willingly signing up for it. Did you see that? The ratings are low, though, which is shocking to me.
A
Really?
B
I find that to be shocking.
A
I do, too.
B
And then I saw someone say. They were like, oh, my God, this is gonna be so annoying if the ratings are low. And Jax is like, of course they're low. I'm not on.
A
Because he's not been in the episodes.
B
Yeah, no, no, no. But I find that to be like, how. How are the ratings? Low.
A
Yeah, I'm shocked by that.
B
Yeah, so was I. That's. I think everything I watched. I think.
A
I know you started the Karen Reed document.
B
No, no, I want to.
A
You didn't. Oh, you want to.
B
Thank you for reminding me. I knew there was something else that I want to watch. Thank you. Okay, that'll be tonight.
A
I watched the first.
B
I gotta write that down.
A
I watched the first two episodes of it.
B
We are.
A
I mean, we're behind on the.
B
I'm behind on more Main Lives. I'm behind on that. I'm behind on a lot of shit.
A
We're behind. We're. Well, we're just behind on the. The Karen Reed.
B
Yes. The whole thing, the whole situation.
A
Because people have been talking about it, I mean, quite literally, for years. But recently it's taken on a whole new life because of the Max documentary that came out. Oh. I guess I can go back to seeing HBO Max now.
C
Yeah. I don't. Officially done the.
A
Is it not official yet?
B
I don't know. But call it by its correct name.
A
Yeah. So there's five episodes. It's very much told from, you know, her perspective. So it's just. It's fascinating. It's very interesting. What a crazy story. I know that there's so many. So many. So many, so many layers to it and things that have happened recently. So I don't even really have too much to say about it because I don't know everything. And I know there's people that are so deep into it and know, like, every single detail, but the documentary is very good. I watched. I only watched the first two episodes, but I'll give it an A. I was. I found myself, like, pausing and rewinding because, like, if I looked down at my phone for too long, I was, like, missing very important things. And I was like, okay, I gotta. I gotta lock in here. Gotta lock in here.
B
I find that to be the way I am with most documentaries.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, when I'm watching a documentary.
A
Because you really need the facts.
B
Yeah. When I'm watching a documentary, I like to put my phone down and really lock. In reality tv, you can, you know.
A
Yeah.
B
Be on your phone, whatever. But for documentaries, you. You miss everything if you're on your phone.
A
Totally. Three minutes exactly. And then you're watching, you're like, wait, I don't understand what's happening. Summer House, I'll give a B. And the Valley, I'll give an A minus as well. I watched the first two episodes of Secret Lives and Mormon Wives that season. The second season just came out. I also got, you know, kudos to these ladies because they really air it all out as well. They really. They really share it all.
B
You think they're getting a big check?
A
I. I don't like a large enough.
B
Check to be airing this all out.
A
No. Yes and no. No in the sense that, like, I don't know if the show paycheck is that much, but, like.
B
But what the.
A
What, what the show brings for them.
B
As people on the show?
A
Because there is a. Now I'm. I'm. I forget a lot of the. There's like, the new girl who's not a new girl. She and Taylor were besties, but they were in the whole swingers thing. And there's been a lot of drama with them. Cause it was like, oh, her husband actually, like, got feelings for Taylor and there was a whole disaster. And now they're like, oh, she wants back in on Mom. They're not saying because of the show, but it's like, oh, now she comes crawling back to mom talk and all these things. And, like, I don't know if we're ready to have her back in mom talk. And that whole conversation, she's trying to, like, grease them all up, like, hosting parties and wanting to be friends with them again. And in the second episode, there is a conversation between Taylor and Dakota and her family. They're sitting at a table. It is one of the most astonishing things I've watched on reality TV in a while where Taylor and the first two episodes, they're very open and Macy's helping her about, like, the girl that Dakota was texting and when they were, quote, unquote, you know, not together, but he was texting Taylor, like, wanting to hang out, but he was also texting this girl, whining out, and, like, totally, like, playing both sides of the whole thing. And they're talking about this, and Taylor's family is basically like, you know, this is your fault, because, yeah, you, like, he.
C
He.
A
You guys weren't together and you slept with him, so that's on you. Like, you shouldn't have done that. And, like, you can't be mad at him for talking to this other girl because you slept with him. And it was just. I was wildly on because they were really trying to, like, push for her to forgive Dakota and, like, oh, like, be a family. Like, the whole thing. And, like, the brother. I'm like, what the hell is going on? I was like, what am I watching? And, like, they're all. It's her. It's literally her family. And they're like, Dakota's at the table, and it's like, oh, you know, he. It almost felt like, oh, what's a guy to do? You know, you guys weren't together, but it's like he was actively talking to her, too, and trying to hang out with her. And, like, her and this other girl, they were, like, lining up the. She was looking. Taylor was looking at all of her texts, and she was seeing, like, what Dakota was sending her, like, when they were together or, like, hanging out or whatever.
B
But you're just thinking, like, her family would.
A
You would think her family would be like, yo, fuck Dakota. Like, that's right. I know you guys weren't together, but, like, he is, you know, the father of your child. Like, it's like, that's. You should not have this relationship. And they could not have shamed her more. It was crazy. Like, I. I couldn't. I felt so bad for her. I was like, I really hope she is getting a lot of support. I know. I've seen a lot of stories about it online because everyone was like, whoa. In the slut shaming. Like, not. It's just. Was. It was crazy. But the first two episodes, I will give. I'll give an A. Honestly, I mean, it's a. It's. It's good.
B
That's high praise.
A
It is. It is good. Those. Those ladies know how to stir it up. I also started overcompensating on Prime. That's Benny Drama.
B
Yes. Yeah.
A
Show, which I'm obsessed with for many reasons, but a little, like, personal tidbit is that Benny and myself were at Georgetown the same time freshman year. He obviously stayed at Georgetown and graduated. I did not but he, you know, we had similar friends, and my group of friends, like, you know, they know them too. And he. In a lot of the show is obviously based off that time.
B
Really.
A
So it's really, really cool to watch because I'm like, oh, my God. There's so many, like, sneaky little Georgetown references in it that me and my friends are absolutely dying over. And the music is amazing. I was watching when Joe and he was like, wait, is this supposed to be when we were freshmen in college? I was like, yes. Because even he was, like, feeling the nostalgia.
B
That's so cool. I saw that he posted the video that he wrote that he started, like, every pitch with which I thought was amazing.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The dancing. Yeah, yeah. I think it was to Lucky, right?
B
Yeah, it was like a Britney Spears song.
A
Yeah, no, the show is really good, really funny. And yeah, just, like, watching it from my perspective is, like, awesome. Cause, like, there's so many little things. Like the. Just the school itself looks very Georgetown esque. He named it Yates University. The gym on campus is Yates. And of course, like, you can't actually name a lot of things. Like the library. Like, there's so many things.
B
Like, really, look, I want to watch that too.
A
So similar. And like, the bars and the Pete's, like, you know, sitting on the curb outside of Domino's after being like, there's just so many things. I'm like, oh, my God. We. We've loved watching, like, new stories, new student orientation, all these things. We've loved it. So watch the first four episodes. It's really funny.
B
I'm really excited to watch.
A
Really funny. Really good. I'll give that an A. I think it's really good. Yeah. Yeah. I'm loving it for many reasons. Like I said, so pumped. Really pumped for him. Awesome cast. He's great. But, like, the. The supporting cast is also so good. Adam DeMarco's in it. He's really great. And his podcast co host is Mary Beth. She's in it as well. They play brother and sister and. Yeah. And like, it's, you know, based on real life experiences that he has had. So it is really, really great and funny. And I want to say that's. Oh, no, the studio. I'll grade. The studio's an A. The studio's an A. And I'm caught up on one through five. I watched five Last of Us episode five, so I haven't watched. This is my issue. I'm like, I rarely. Now I'm watching, like, live Sunday night. So episode five. I'll give a. I'll give a B. You know, I'm still very much locked in. And I thought it was really interesting, like, the hospital situation with the spores down on that other floor. And like, the way that it all spreads, it just opens up another element to the whole monster, zombie, whatever the hell you want to call them situation.
B
The.
A
And I think that's everything but episode five. What did I say? B. Yeah. I watch any of anything else movies? No, that's it.
C
I don't have a ton. I watch the studio. I'll give that an A. That one I felt like, was closer to the first few that I really liked. Yeah, yeah, there's a few there where, like, they were still good, but I didn't, like, love them as much. I watched the Conan, Mark Twain. It's on Netflix. Basically, that whole present. What would you call that, like, a.
A
Well, did he get the award?
C
He got honored for the Mark Twain Awards?
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
It's a whole.
A
Is it the thing at the Kennedy Center? Yeah, yeah.
C
But there's a ton of good speeches. Like, so many celebrities were there and. Very funny. And I love Conan. Actually, Rhea texted, like, our group a week or two ago being like, who do you guys think the funniest person in the world is? And that was my response. And everyone was like, what?
B
It just was not. It just was not a response I was expecting.
A
I mean, yeah, I would not have. I would not have guessed that. For no, I.
B
For no, I just wouldn't have guessed.
C
Like, pound for pound, like, yeah, I don't know.
B
I love that you had an answer, though. You know what I mean?
C
Like, and it's not like a. Like, you could ask me on another day.
B
Yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't, like, think of my answer. So it was tough.
C
Yeah. But if you watch this, you would say, oh, a lot of other people feel that way too.
B
For me, like, right now, the funniest person and this, like, Heather McMahon, like, genuinely, like, everything she does, everything she says, like, I am obsessed with her. It's, like, sickening. Like, I. I watch everything she does. Like, I think she is so fucking funny. Like, I'm like, oh, my God. Everything she does and says.
C
The last of us, I watched them caught up. I watched last episode six. Last night was cool. I'm not, like, giving anything away, but it's like they're going back in time now.
A
So he's back, right?
C
He's back.
A
Which I excited to watch.
C
I apparently spoiled this for a lot of people last Week. So sorry to everyone.
A
You've been spoiling shows left and right. Allegedly.
C
But here's the thing. Like, you guys talk about it, and you're like, spoiler. And then I say, I just like piggyback.
B
Yeah. Because then we get to you. Yeah.
A
People.
C
I guess it's over. But, yeah, I won't say who, but they go back in time, and now we're back to, like. And it's giving context to, like, everything this season. So this one I like more just because he's back.
A
Yeah.
C
I'll give this one a B. Like, I don't think I'll ever. I don't think I'll ever get back into the A range for the show, which is sad, but I'll keep watching.
B
Can I ask a spoiler question?
A
Mm.
B
Spoiler. Spoiler.
A
Spoiler. Last of us, spoiler question alert. Last of us, spoiler question alert. Arnie, Paul, Me alert.
B
Is Pedro.
A
He's dead.
B
Dead. Dead.
A
Big, big time dead.
B
I heard about that, and I thought, yeah, well, I ain't gonna watch now.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, yeah.
C
That's how a lot of people felt.
A
Yeah.
B
I was like, well, I wasn't watching before, and I'm certainly not watching.
A
That's, like, why. A lot of the discourse around it was because in the game, he died.
B
Yes.
A
So it was like they knew eventually he was gonna die. I think people just didn't think it would happen so early in the second season.
B
That's what. Yeah.
A
I heard.
C
But I think some people also thought they might have just switched it.
A
Yeah, they also thought, like, maybe they just would change it story enough.
B
Well, my friends were talking about it Thursday night, and they were, like, kind of bouncing around. I was like, guys, I'm never gonna watch. Like, you could. You could talk about it. And they were all like, I just can't believe Pedro. And I was like, wait, what? Yeah, I was like, I was never gonna watch, but Juicy.
A
Yeah. So, like.
B
But.
A
Because there is, like.
B
Oh, my God.
A
There. Because there was like. There's a pretty significant time jump from, like, the end of the first season to where they are now that there is a lot of in between and, like, life in between that he could come back for, like, flashback episodes and things.
B
Gotcha.
A
Because, like, you said, like, this context. It is not the same. It's not the same.
B
Yeah. But.
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah. Even when it happened, I was like, oh, wait, no, he's not gonna die. Oh, what the fuck?
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
Well, you know what? I love a show that, you know, they. Yeah.
A
I mean, you Gotta respect it. You gotta respect it. Gotta respect it. So.
C
And then I watched your Friends and Neighbors, the most recent episode. I like it. Yeah.
B
No, we kind of had this every week.
C
Like, I don't really know what to say about the show because it doesn't blow me away, but I'm like, oh, it's a good show.
A
Right, right, right.
C
But I do see some people being like, this is the best show on tv, and it's, like, power to you. I just don't feel the same way. But it's solid. It's actually getting better, I think, now. And, yeah, I've always had the biggest crush on Amanda Pete, so that's like.
B
She's great, for sure, right?
A
Yeah.
C
I just looked up her age, out of curiosity, and I was stunned at how old she is, because I would have thought she was way younger.
A
My guess is 48.
B
My guess is 54, 53.
C
But I would have thought, like, she was, like, young 40s.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
C
But, yeah. So I'll keep watching it, at the very least.
B
What did you rate it?
C
I'll give it a B minus.
B
Oh, nice.
C
Yeah, it could probably be B like this last episode was. It's getting interesting now.
B
Definitely. I agree.
C
But, yeah, that's all I got, so.
B
All right. That's everything we watch. I actually wrote a couple things down that I'm excited to watch this week.
A
Yes.
B
So I'm happy about that. And we don't have an episode on Monday, Memorial Day, but maybe we'll do Weekly Watch Report on Wednesday.
A
Yeah, yeah, for sure. We'll have a lot to catch up on, especially if it's, like, raining and gross.
B
For sure, for sure. All right, that wraps up. Wraps up the weekly Watch Report. That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office, AKA the best show on Earth. Thank you so much for watching, ladies and gentlemen. We love you very much. And poor little Olive Girl just.
A
I mean, is she not just the cutest thing ever?
B
She's just sleeping there, and I'm just disrupting her way. I feel.
A
She was dreaming. I could feel.
B
I felt like I'm like, poor girl. I'm disrupting her sleep by talking so much.
A
You know those little, like, puppy dreams when they go. Go. And they, like, do, like, that little, like. Like, oh, she was doing that last night. It was so.
B
She's just dreaming about you walking her on the. On the west side highway, that sort of thing.
A
All right.
B
We love you guys so much. Oh, yep. She's drinking.
A
Yeah.
B
She's like, yes. That is What? I'm dreaming.
A
The paws are going. Yeah.
B
All right. Love you guys very much. We'll talk to you on Wednesday. It.
