It was lovely for, you know, a kind of cold and windy Memorial Day weekend. You know, it was not like I was ass on sand all weekend long. Unfortunately, Monday it did get nice and it was sunny, but it was still like it was a cold breeze on the beach. We went to the beach, but I had, you know, full pants and sweatshirt on.

[Noah]

Yeah.

[Ria]

Which is always lovely. But not. I didn't fully feel like I was in summer yet.

[Noah]

Right. We're not quite there yet, but we are in our hearts and souls.

[Ria]

I'm trying to be. I'm really trying to be. But no, I had a lovely weekend. Family time. Brought the dog out to Long Island. Lovely weekend. She's adjusting to, you know, being a dog that goes on the train and goes and has some fun at the beach and then comes back to New York.

[Noah]

It is. But she'll love it.

No, I. Exactly. Once it goes all summer, that's really. I really. Other than that, like nothing Too. Nothing too crazy for me.

Yeah, I'm with you. I. We had no, like, set plans this weekend. We were just, like, seeing what happens. And it was my grandpa's 87th birthday on Monday, so they had a little barbecue on Sunday, went home to Long island for that, which was lovely and lots of good eats this weekend. I will say, though, this has been on my mind since Sunday. When it happened, we went to Cangiano's, my favorite market in Jersey City. The Italian. The Italian place to pick up some things to make a little board for my grandpa's birthday. And while I'm in canoes, I met a lovely listener of ours who said she drove, like, an hour to go to canoes. Because I talked about it. And first of all, I was like, well, I hope it lives up to the hype, because now if you drove an hour and this is a disappointment appointment, I feel bad. Yeah, Very lovely. They were picking up some little things. I was like, well, you got to get this dip. Da, da, da da. Lovely. We take a picture. I get back in the car, I look at my teeth. I have a freaking seed in between my two front teeth. I've been thinking about it ever since I said, oh, my gosh, how embarrassing. How embarrassing.

[Ria]

Here I am, cheesing bagel seed, ear to ear.

[Noah]

Yep, ear to ear with a freaking bagel seed in between my two front teeth. And, you know, I had to come out and say it and admit it, because I'm like, oh, my gosh, now what if she goes on with her day like Rhea walks around with bagel seeds in between her teeth? Cause guess what? I guess I do, you know?

[Ria]

Yeah, right, right.

[Noah]

I guess that would be correct, because I did.

[Ria]

You just weren't.

[Noah]

And you know, me, I'm a big flosser. And I, we were in a bit of a rush, and mom, we, you know, I ate the bagel, we left and got on my merry way.

[Joey]

Is that crazy that she went there because of your recommendation and you were there?

[Noah]

Oh, my God. I know. Well, I felt honored. I was like, wow, you came all this way.

[Ria]

Not only are she went to the place, but you were there.

[Joey]

It's like, she must be like, you go there every.

[Noah]

Like, wow, you really are at this place. No, I felt honored, though. I was like, oh, I gotta be talking about my wrecks a little bit more, huh? So I felt honored. But then there's been a little neighborhood drama in Hoboken, so there's this new taco place, and you guys know Los Tacos in New York City, very famous taco spot, very beloved taco place. So in Hoboken, a new taco spot opened up that looked. Looks exactly like Los Tacos and has the same setup. The whole thing, how it goes, the way you order the whole thing. People in Hoboken were very upset because they thought a Los Tacos was opening up. Turns out it's not.

[Ria]

It's just a copycat.

[Noah]

It's a copycat. But I will say we went.

[Ria]

It's good.

[Noah]

And I will say this. Matt was like, whoa, Ria, we gotta be careful going. Because people are a little upset about this. And I said, what do you mean people are upset? I've never even heard. I just. I just saw a new taco place. He's like, well, it's a thing on TikTok where people are upset that they're copying those tacos. And I was like, wow, I didn't know about this drama. So we went yesterday, got some tacos, walked to the park, walked around Hoboken. Delicious, really delicious tacos. And I had a lot of girls message me and ask me what I thought about the tacos. And I had to shoot them straight and say, well, I thought they were delicious. Yeah, you know what? They may be copycatting.

[Ria]

Right. But they're doing a good job. So.

[Noah]

And I guess if you're looking for late night food, they're open to like 3am on the weekends. So it's kind of like a prime spot. And for people, it is. So I'm just saying, you know, it may be copycat, but they were good. And they hit the spot. Those roasted pork. Roasted pork tacos with all the fixings on it that they got going on, it was good stuff.

[Ria]

So they. Somebody did that to me. The after the. Which is really, like, I'm going back to the food and the in the tea thing. Cause it's like when. When you hope that somebody doesn't notice or. But it's also like when people bring it up. Like, somebody did it to me as a joke the other day, and I was so rattled.

[Noah]

But you didn't.

[Ria]

It was after the wing eating thing.

[Noah]

Yeah.

[Ria]

Which, you know, I'm already, like, very. I'm like, I probably have sauce all over my face. I got sauce on my nose. It was disgusting. It was, like, in my hair. Like, it was gross. And then I was introduced to somebody, and he was like, oh, you did a great job up there. Like, you. You still got a little. And I was like, oh, my God. I, like, panic.

And he Was like, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.

I was like, no, no, but wouldn't you rather him. Them tell you in the moment?

[Noah]

No, but that was a joke.

[Ria]

She didn't.

Team, but like, I panicked and literally, like. Like the way I, like, pulled out my phone and I was like, oh, no. Do I. And he was like, oh, no. Like, I'm kidding. Heavens.

Yep. I didn't like him after that. Oh, yeah.

Exactly. Well, we got back in the car and we were driving a little bit and Matt was like, oh, wait, you have something between your teeth. And I was like, yeah, I went in. I had this in between my teeth the whole time. I can't believe it.

It was a little high up.

Maybe it wasn't in the picture. I don't know. She's in pretty hard. I was happy to be there.

Ken Gianna's. Yeah. Well, yeah, it was a casual weekend, though. Lots of rest and chilled hard. Like hardcore chilling, the whole thing. Wrote all our thank you notes for the wedding.

Yeah. Well, we weren't doing anything this weekend, so we were like, well, let's get these bad boys. And we split it up. Matt did his family, I did my family. We split up the friends a little bit, you know, because I was like.

You gotta. You gotta split it up.

You gotta step up here, pal.

I got a kink in my neck.

You know, like, right, I'm cramping. No, literally, I'm cra.

I started seeing foggy after a couple tunnel from this.

No, literally, I was like, my brain is all fogged up. I'm writing so many thank yous. Yep. So, yeah, I'm with you on that. And I went to the movies and saw Sinners. But I'll wait for Weekly Watch report because I freaking loved it. But I'll wait for Weekly Watch for it. Noah, how was your weekend?

It was good, you know, Finished out my Tedesci trucks run.

[Ria]

And then show four and five.

[Joey]

You know what?

You went to five?

No, no, I was four.

That fourth show, though, I will admit, my back started to give out. I was like, I don't know how they do it because I'm just standing in the audience and I'm like, this is probably it for me.

Right. You couldn't be, like, the guy that sits down.

[Joey]

No, no. And someone asked me before, are you a sitter or a stander? I'm like, I'm a stander.

[Ria]

Yeah.

I can't sit down.

Well, it was show at the Beacon. Like, does everyone stand the whole time?

[Joey]

So that's actually the floor part. Like, you can sit. No one's gonna, like, yell at you if you're sitting.

[Ria]

No, of course. But you probably.

[Joey]

But, like, most. Mostly people are standing. But that. I think they call it the lodge.

[Ria]

Yeah, yeah. The middle.

[Joey]

The middle section. It's apparently, like. And I've been up there and I remember it. That's. I was wondering.

[Ria]

I don't know. I always jokingly call it that, but I don't know if that's what's spelled.

[Joey]

If you stand up there, you will get yelled at by everyone. Like. And I was looking up there and everyone seated. It's really weird. But. No, it was. It was a great time. And I went to the Cape, and it wasn't great weather either, so just kind of hung out. All my sister and her friends were there.

[Noah]

So did they want to hang out with you this time?

[Joey]

This time they did. So it wasn't the same group. They were actually begging me to go out.

[Noah]

Oh, and they were begging.

[Joey]

They were. And they were trying to act like I wanted them to beg me. I'm like, I don't want to go out. Like, I'm just going to, like, hang out here. And they're like, come on, Come on. So I drove. I'm like, I'll drive and I'll just have, like, a drink.

[Noah]

Nice. You know what? That's good, though. Driver.

[Joey]

So I drove them. They were like, there's no for the squire. Which is, like, the spot. And they're like, we promise there's no line. Look, we can, like, see the camera feed. There's no line. I showed up. The line was, like, down the entire town. And they waited in line for over an hour. I was like, I'm not waiting in this. I dropped them off.

[Ria]

Guys, let me tell you something. There's something is. I. Me and my friends were talking about all weekend, like, I said to them, does Gen Z just have the numbers? Like, does Gen Z just have the numbers on us? I have no seen the lines at bars worse across the northeast than I have over this weekend. Same from the Jersey shore.

[Noah]

Yep.

[Ria]

To like Parker House Osprey. Like all the bars down there, columns to the Steven Talk House in the. In the Hamptons. Like, I was blown away by the videos I was seeing, the TikToks I was seeing. I watched a girl on TikTok get in line for the Parker House, start her timer and she got in 3 hours and 39 minutes.

[Joey]

What?

[Ria]

And she and her friends waited that whole time. 3 hours and 39 minutes.

[Joey]

No, I wouldn't wait that long in line.

[Noah]

Let me tell you. No, it's not worth it. It's fun, but not three hours, three and a half hours fun.

[Ria]

And there are accounts and everything. You know, they document the line and whatnot. And like it was down the block around the corner at 10am which is crazy because it's like they're not even open yet. So obviously the line gets outrageous because there's no one inside the bar. The bars not even open. And I. If I always was like, ah, the commit. Like the residents in Spring Lake that live around the Parker House. Like, as a young person who loved to go to the Park House, I'd always be like, oh, shut it. Like, it's not that bad, you know, because all the residents would complain and there were so many years that they were like, oh, is it going to close? Like, the residents hate it. Like. And I was always, you know, team Parker House. And then, my God, I saw these lines go down block. I'm not even kidding. Blocks and blocks and blocks. Joe and I were dying, laughing. It was never ending. I was like, you know what? This is a sign that I'm getting old and that I'm. And I'm. Because if I was the owner of one of these houses, I'd be like, get these fucking kids off my lawn. Get these kids on my fucking lawn right now.

[Noah]

So true.

[Ria]

So no, it's. It was crazy. I couldn't believe that. And I think I also saw you could like pay $75.

[Noah]

I saw that. The line of house. But then there's there. Then there was another hour line. Yeah, you pay 75.

[Ria]

Five. Another hour line compared to three and a half.

[Noah]

I mean, I think it's at that point though. I mean, listen.

[Ria]

No, I.

[Noah]

When you got that leaving, when you got that lust for life to like get to those bars, you'll Freaking do anything now, though, like, as married couples, it's like, we'll just go home. No, you know what I mean? I'm like, I don't got three and a half hours in me to wait in this line to go stand in the bar and drink when we could just go back to the house and drink at the house and play some music and have some good fun.

You would ever have waited, like, even 10 years ago?

[Ria]

No, no, no. That's what I'm saying. Eight. Look, eight years ago this weekend is when I met Joe. And that was probably like my peak time of being at the bars at the Jersey Shore. Like, we were on it. There was not a time. And that weekend, I was probably at the Parker House by 11:30am yeah. To wait in line.

[Noah]

But the line wasn't that crazy.

[Ria]

The line probably made it to the end of the driveway.

[Noah]

Yeah. Like, which is a long line for Park House. When you're at a Parker House and you see at the end of the driveway, like, oh, that's a long.

[Ria]

The driveway is long. This came down the driveway, up the street and then down the block. Like, it looked like almost a mile. Yeah, I. I could not believe it. Just crazy. I was just like, man, these kids. Yeah, they're just coming out and I guess allegedly they say, tick tock, blows up these bars. It's like people from that aren't even staying are coming down. Like, they're taking the train to Spring Lake and they're just getting off and going and like, whatever, 100.

[Noah]

That's what it is. It's crazy because it's the same things with restaurants now. It's like, tick tock blows up these restaurants and bars makes people go. And there just becomes this, like, phenomenon. I know. Like, well, like, I saw so many people going to the Jersey Shore this weekend. It was a thing on TikTok people were talking about. They were like, why is everyone coming to Jersey Shore all of a sudden?

[Ria]

Right.

[Noah]

You know what I mean? It's like everyone just found out about these bars and whatever. But hey, you know what? If you had a good time even in the cold this weekend, good for you.

[Ria]

Right? And it also does not help when it is a weekend where it is kind of not beach weather. Everyone's going to the bar, right?

[Noah]

Because they're like, well, let's go to the bar.

[Ria]

Yeah. There isn't where like, half the amount of people are like, oh, we'll go to the beach during the day and then we'll go to the bars at night. It's like, no, no.

[Noah]

You're.

[Ria]

They're going to the bars all day long.

[Noah]

For sure. Yeah. It was wild to see. I saw all of that.

[Ria]

Made her way to the Parker house.

[Noah]

She did. It's every Memorial Day weekend. You know, she makes her way there.

[Ria]

Yeah. Look, it's a fantastic place.

[Noah]

It is.

[Ria]

And I love it. But you know, that is. That's crazy. And it must be just from a logistics standpoint. I was like thinking about the. I'm like, what a. To work. To work that work the lines.

Bartender probably feel like such a boss. So like you're like. You know how they like bouncers are where it's like you're not getting in.

[Ria]

Yeah.

[Joey]

No, I'll give you a hundred dollars.

[Ria]

No, it's like it's tough for them though, because that they're. The police are on their ass down there hard. So Parker has.

[Joey]

There's like legit. Like you have to walk through a metal detector like that. It feels like you're going through an airport.

[Ria]

It's also like if you. They have the police right out there where it's like if you open container or like any. Anything like you'll get a ticket quick. Yeah, you'll get a ticket real quick. So they're on it. They are on it for sure. So. Yeah. That was crazy.

[Noah]

I couldn't believe that. I know. It was a lot. It was a lot to take in where I was like, you know, what if it was warm out?

[Ria]

Yeah.

I probably would have the urge to go somewhere.

But because of the weather, I was like, I'm good with just saying. I watched a clock, a lot of TV and movies this weekend. So weekly walk, sport will be. Will be good. Like, months. We were looking at your schedule. We're like, he's doing the Dance with the Stars tour. I mean, he's got so many things to finish. When you. When you made the list, did you think, like, oh, I'll really be able to get all this done? And then at what point did you panic and think, there's no way I'm getting this done?

[Justin]

Listen, I did not expect Dancing with the Stars to take up six months of my life. You go on that show and you're like, I just hope I don't make an idiot on myself on tv. And then I go. And then I do that well, and it lasts so long. And then I didn't even know really about tour until after doing it. So then you add that to the cards, and it just got. It got tight towards the end. I honestly the. The hardest one to throw in. Like, we really forced Japan and it was the best trip ever. But, like, we really, like, had to find a way. And then I had to like, look up a national park in Japan because, like, well, if I'm here, I'm knocking off something else. So we're spending five days in Japan. I gotta at least knock two off the list. So it was just, it was getting creative. And then I had to go, as someone like to say, I had to go run a marathon on myself. And that was. That half marathon was hard. And I did that in Venice. And it was. Yeah, it was. There was a lot of last minute pushes, but we did it. So that was all the goal.

You made it happen. When you put Learn how to dance on that list, did you have an inkling you'd be on Dancing with the Stars?

[Justin]

That might have been a little bit of a nugget because I was already taking some meetings and there was a few on there that I put just because I wanted to, like, yeah, it was fun to do things. I knew that was gonna happen. I was hopeful if Dancing with the Stars decided to not happen, I would have to go take some dancing class somewhere in la. So that was still on the list.

[Noah]

Yeah, I would. I want to say it was in the fall maybe during Dancing with the Stars where I got real interested in this list. And I remember texting our group chat that we used to do cutting stems, and I was like, guys, we have a huge problem on our hands. Joey's birthday, I just googled it, is in May. And he better fucking finish this list because now we're on him. And then, and then we would have some laughs because we would be like, oh, we think he's cheating a little bit. He did a two for in this one. He did a two in one. But sometimes you got to do that. You got to, you got to combine it and make it happen.

Hey, if I'm taking my dad on a trip and he looks at the list and he's like, I want to go to Napa. Like, we're going to Napa. Like, that's just, that's, that's just, that's just being practical at this point.

We had an inkling. We were like, you know what? He's taking his dad on one of these things. His dad's either going to Napa or Disneyland. But I'm glad it was Napa.

It was my dad's choice and he chose Nap.

Yeah, we thought maybe that could have been a golf trip. We were really, like combining a lot of things there. When there was like seven or eight things left, we were like, okay, he's going to do these two together. And then he's going to do these two together. And we were trying to, like, I straight up was on, like, the runners of the US Website looking up what it was when all the half marathons are. And then, you know, you ended up running one yourself, which you. Half a point.

[Justin]

Yeah. I mean, if people want to say there's anything I didn't do, I mean, you can, you can make it. You can make an argument for that. But I would love to see everyone else go try to run a half marathon on your own. Under two hours. Hours. It wasn't easy. So I feel like that was the hardest working one that I put out there. So I felt like I deserved it.

So is there someone that you didn't put on here that would be like a go to that you would want to actually go see live that you haven't been able to do?

So we did have one on the list that we took off because I don't Know if they're going back to the sphere. But it was c. Dead and company.

I thought that multiple times when I saw him on camera during the show. I'm not gonna lie where I was like, he probably was really pumped for it for some sort of surprise appearance or announcement or something. But that did not happen. And everybody then speculated that Sza was picking up his chin to, like, help him up. And I was like, I don't know.

Look, it tickled me pink seeing, seeing that post. I thought there is a part of me that deep down that hopes maybe they could reconcile down the road. Well, Kelly and I had a conversation about this when you were gone.

Yeah, yeah. Kelly and I had a conversation about this because, like, so much, especially with Heart by Heart, we were like. And of course, some people did point out to me afterwards, they were like, well, well, he didn't write that song. But I'm like, okay, that doesn't mean he doesn't sing it and think of her.

And there's just some lyrics where I'm like, it would pull on my heartstrings if I was Sophie too. And I felt that way listening to a lot of this new album. I love the new album. I think it's great thing. It's fun. It's. It's like unique to Joe, which I like. There's like a little bit of like a Harry Styles kind of vibe. Some songs which I really like. He sounds amazing. It's different from, like Jonas Brothers stuff. And there's some really beautiful songs. And I was listening the album this week and I loved it. And when I saw Sophie post, oh, I got so excited. And I'm just. I'm happy about it because it just seems like they are in such a better place, regardless of my own personal feelings of, you know, if they were to. If they were to reconnect down the line at some point. Point. But he also did say during a guest appearance on Jay Shetty's podcast tour right now, Joe went on, he said, I watched the clip too. Jay kind of asked, like, what sort of like role models or, you know, how who do you want your daughters, like, look up to and. And all Those kind of questions like that. And he had said having an incredible mom, Sophie for those girls is like a dream come true. He said, as young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them. I think what values I want for them are to be open minded and having a big heart. And he wants them to be able to walk into any room and feel confidence, know that they can literally do anything they want. And he's gushed about how he's really grateful. He feels that they have a beautiful co parenting relationship right now. So I thought that was very sweet, very nice. And like you said, there was a lot of like nastiness in the tabloids when this went down. And it seems like hopefully that's been put in the past and they can concentrate on being good co parents and it's great. I mean, take a listen to Honey Blonde and I'd be like, that does.

Oh. I guess maybe not as much as I thought, but that's okay. All right, number one, I'm going to start with sinners. When to see sinners. Finally was able to come around seeing it on Friday Night Night Spectacular. Wow. Well, number one, you guys surprised me because I asked you if you were scared at all and you guys hit me with a no. Which. The first time the vampire. I mean, Remy, the first time that scene happens when they are changed into vampires.

[Ria]

Yeah.

[Noah]

Scared the shit out of me. It scared the shit out of me. The, you know, jump cuts in the beginning didn't really scare me or anything. I knew, knew. I knew that vampires were involved, but for some reason my scare tolerance has really gone down ever since I've reached really my twenties. Actually it's been a while. But when I was younger I. I really wasn't scared. Like, I mean, I was scared of things like, you know, I've talked about, but in scary movies didn't scare me. Oh, my God, I was so scared when this. For when the first scene happened. I got over it, obviously.

[Joey]

I think, like, the dancing and, like, there's like a very much a comedic aspect, like, a lot of the vampire stuff, right?

[Ria]

Yeah. I think that also, like, there were. There are definitely moments, like, there were for certain moments that I was like. Like, whoa. But I think because, like, the rest of the movie sort of, like, balances it out in a way. Like. Like, for me, I have to say, for me, I have to say, for me to say, like, oh, I was scared at that movie. I need to be scared like, a majority of the time.

[Noah]

Well, when I texted you guys, it was. I had ran to the bathroom and that scene had just happened. Happened, and I was just scared from that. Then there was the movie happens. And I was like, okay, you're sitting.

[Ria]

In the stall being like, am I about to have a vampire knockout when I open the door?

[Noah]

No, that's exactly how I felt. Well, I really had to go. And I was like, okay, I'll go now. I saw I saved a Tick tock the other day because I feel like I've tried talking about this on this show before, and I couldn't explain it accurately, but it was like somebody walking out of a theater. And it's like me walking out of a theater with my whole new personality after I just watched a movie and it's like, that is me to a T. When I see a movie, I feel like I am in it after, like, 100, like, leaving sinners. I was walking outside and I was just looking around like, I was like, you know, where are the vampires? Yeah, like, where are the vampires? So spectacular. The music.

[Ria]

Oh, so good.

[Noah]

Incredible. That dance sequence scene, so cool. Where Sammy is playing for the first time in front of her, everybody was one of my favorite scenes in a movie maybe ever. Like that. Watching it in that moment, that's exactly what I thought. I was like, this is one of the coolest.

[Joey]

I had chills, like, the whole time.

[Noah]

I've actually ever seen. Like, I thought it was so incredible. Just the whole story, everything about it. The acting was superb. Michael B. Jordan. So good. So good. I actually had a moment. I saw people talking about this, which is so funny, where people were like, I. I knew he played twins, but there were people online being like, I had no idea Michael B. Jordan was playing twins. When they first show Smoke and Stack, I was like, oh, Michael B. Jordan. And then they pan. I forget who they pan to first. And then I was like, wait, no, that's Michael B. Jordan. And I was like, no, they're both Michael B. Jordan. He plays twins. They're both Michael B. Jordan. But I saw so many people talking about that online where they were like, I thought one was Michael B. Jordan, then I thought the other one was Michael B. Jordan. I had no idea he's playing twins. So I thought that they just had another actor who looked exactly like Michael B. Jordan. But he did.

[Ria]

The whole cast was so good.

[Noah]

So good. They all were amazing. Now I'm obsessed with watching interviews of all of them together. Just absolutely incredible. I give Sinners an A plus. I really loved it. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. In my personal opinion. I could talk about it for ages. I honestly spent majority of the night when I got home after just researching everything about it because I loved it so much.

Yeah. Ryan Coogler, like, watching his interviews was actually.

[Ria]

I went through, like the freaking coolest guy.

[Noah]

So good. So cool. And by the way, like, the end credit scenes, it's just unfortunate that a lot of people miss out on them because my. My rule of thumb always is if the lights don't go on, then I assume that there's a credit credit scene coming where there was a mid credit and then there was an end credit. There were two.

[Joey]

Did the lights come on after the first?

[Noah]

No, I thought for mine.

[Ria]

For mine. Because I didn't see that at the very, very end. I didn't see the end end because the lights did come on. So I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

So I think I saw a lot of people talking about how they never even saw either of the scenes because.

Missing that first one.

Missing the first one is bad.

That's why I'm kind of like, how do we feel about that when it's cool. Because it's like, it is sort of very important to the movie, but so many people miss. It kind of wraps it up in the end.

I thought this was good. I. It was quick show. I watched the whole thing. It's five episodes. There's a twist at the end that I don't think anybody expected. And we kind of flew through it. We started it actually, Friday night after we got home from Sinners. We saw it came out and we were like, it, let's throw it on. Kind of stayed up all night watching it.

[Ria]

Fantastic.

[Noah]

And cast the ladies. It was. That's what made me so excited.

I was like, oh, this is a great cast. Megan Fahey, she can't escape a beachside drama.

[Ria]

She loves.

She loves a beachside drama. Great acting.

And I love Julianne Moore.

[Noah]

You know, obviously there's some plot holes in a show like this. Five episodes. It's quick. Julianne Moore was creepy and spectacular.

Dennis from Always Sunny. I. Yes, he was in it. And Kevin Bacon, who's always great. I will give this a B. I thought it was solid. Quick watch. Enjoyable. Some things that you're like, eh, that doesn't really make sense.

Yeah. I'll give it a B, though. I enjoyed it. Quick overcompensating. I watched all 10 episodes.

[Ria]

So good.

[Noah]

Loved it. I mean, the music is spectacular. The writing is so funny. So funny. It. I loved it. It was like the perfect show. Like, I sat down first episode, so I said, this is so. For me, like, I was like, this. This is perfect.

[Ria]

I actually laughed so hard at the. In the last episode, they make a barstool joke that it's just like. But it's just like. It's like the perfect 2016 era of that joke. Like, hitting so hard. And I was dying. I was dying. It was so good.

[Noah]

You know, I was like, picturing you here at school while I was watching it. Yeah, that's really, like, midway through watching, I was like, oh, wait, whatever. I was like, putting that. I'll give that an A minus. I really enjoyed it. Kind of flew through the episodes. I sort of watched that, like, I think within one or two days.

[Ria]

Yeah.

Nine Perfect Strangers is back with a season two. I really loved the first season of Nine Perfect Strangers. Season two is quite different.

[Ria]

I haven't seen anyone talking about this.

[Noah]

Nobody's talking about it. I just saw it pop up on Hulu.

[Ria]

Yes. I typed in and was like, wait a second. I thought it was like, just promoting the first season again.

[Noah]

No, it's the second season. Two episodes are out and even when I typed in 9 perfect, it still wasn't coming up to like go to. It's really weird.

[Ria]

But they've been doing any promotion for it.

I haven't seen much.

The guy who played Armand. Right.

Two episodes only. I'll give it a B. Started off slow for me, but now I'm. It sort of was picking up a little bit. I'm more interested the studio finale. I liked it. Didn't love it. Didn't love it as much as I loved the other episodes. I mean, I did like it though, a lot. I just didn't love it. I think maybe actually I was just upset it was ending.

Maybe that's why, like now that I'm.

Thinking about it, I was also sad.

I did really enjoy it. So I think I was just upset that it was ending.

And I wanted it to be longer than it was.

But I will give it an A minus because I did enjoy it. But I, you know, just upset. Hoping it comes back for a second season. Summer House finale.

I thought it was fine. The Valley this week. I'll also give a C plus. Thought it was fine. Mormon wise. All 10 episodes I will give an A minus. Some were so interesting. Some kind of lost me.

I watched Step Up 3.

Great movie.

I love Step Up 3. I haven't seen it in years.

One was a rewatch. So, you know, I'll give that a B plus. And then I watched Rounders. So Rounders is one of Matt's favorite movies. And. And he always talks about it. For some reason we've never watched it together. And after we saw Sinners, an interview popped up on my TikTok of Michael B. Jordan. He was asked.

[Joey]

Wait, wait, were you here for this when she. You said the same exact thing.

[Ria]

I think maybe you weren't here.

[Noah]

[Ria]

Crazy. I did the. I said the exact same thing.

[Noah]

Michael B. Jordan. He was asked his four favorite movies, and the first one he named was Rounders. And Matt, like, popped up. He was like, oh, my God. I knew I loved Michael B. Jordan. He's like, rounder is my favorite movie. Well, you'll never. I'm like, I will watch Rounders if you want to watch Rounders.

[Ria]

Joe and I watched Rounders. I think when you were on your honeymoon, I was talking about it because I said the same thing. I said, you know what? I saw Michael B. Jordan named Rounders on his letterbox. I said, I'll watch it.

[Noah]

Yeah. Listen, did I love it as much as Matt loves it? No, but was it a good movie? Yes. I'll give it a B plus.

[Ria]

Same kind of thing. Joe was like, what'd you think? I was like, I mean, a lot of poker. I'm like, I get it. It's a good movie. But it's such a boy movie. It's such a boy movie.

[Noah]

It really is such a boy movie. And especially John Malkovich's impersonation. I mostly was upset with myself because for somebody who loves gambling, I really don't know poker that well.

[Ria]

Yeah, I don't know poker at all.

[Noah]

Sounds like this is a lot of fun poker talk. My mom used to love playing Texas hold' em. Like, love. So I just don't understand it in the way that I really wish I would.

[Ria]

Yeah. Yeah.

[Noah]

And so majority of the movie, I spent thinking to myself, my God, I have to get better at poker. Which was sort of distracting because it was so much poker talk that I was like, God, I'm so confused, and I wish I knew more, you know?

[Ria]

And so, yeah, I kept asking about the lingo. I was like, what does that mean?

[Noah]

I will give it a B plus, you know, in honor of my husband, who is his favorite movie. But I'm with you in the fact that it just. I didn't love it as much as him, but I enjoyed my time watching it. And I felt so bad because he kept looking at me like, you don't love it. I was like, no, it's not that. It's just like, I'm not, like, jumping up for joy at this movie. You know, Matt Damon, he was great. And Norton, he was great. Yeah.

Look like I could put on a Princess Diaries and be like, come on. Like, right?

[Noah]

And you're going to have the same reaction. It's good, but I'm not like jumping for joy over this, over this film. But if you love it, then I love it, you know? So that is everything I watch.

[Ria]

So that was kind of a crazy comparison for me to make. But any kind of Diaries. Yeah, just like any kind of. Like any kind of highly rated rom com.

[Noah]

A romance. More romance.

Rounders is a guy.

But, you know, funny in Turks and Caicos, Joe and Matt did talk about Rounders because Joe was reading Molly's Game. And then we talked about how good Molly's Game is. And then they were talking about how much they love Rounders. And we were like, we both never.

[Ria]

Seen Rounders, Molly's Game. And then at like. And then what? Whatever it was whatever. Like the first week you're on your honeymoon. Joe was like, well, you watched Rounders.

[Noah]

I was like, I personally like Molly's Game better than round. Yeah, I did as well, but that might be Jessica Chastain.

[Ria]

Yeah, I did as well. And then I'll give this studio an A. I thought it was fantastic. I loved the finale. Zoe Kravitz had me dying.

[Noah]

Laughter so good.

[Ria]

Same with freaking day Franco. Oh, my God, Dave Franco coming, like, totally bloodied and grinned and then just like passing out afterwards and then putting.

[Noah]

On a whole act. That part was hilarious.

[Ria]

And kuda, like, great job by Bryan Cranston, so.

[Noah]

Oh, my God. So good.

[Ria]

So he played that.

Oh, my God. They're like, let's we get a. Bernie's dragged him back in.

Sorry, I forgot that I watched Hacks, but I'm bringing up this because back to back shows this week, they used coke to shove up someone's nose to wake them up in the studio and in hacks. And I was like, what's going on? It was the same thing happening in Hacks where I was like, wait, what?

[Joey]

I did like that. They referenced flight. Have you guys seen Flight with that sound like that? They referenced that when they were doing that.

[Noah]

No, that was hilarious. But then when I put on Hacks and it was the same thing, I was like, what's happening?

[Joey]

Maybe it works.

[Noah]

I don't want to find out. I'll give Hacks. Just throwing this in there. I'll give it a B. This week.

[Ria]

That'S like, literally all I watch. Basketball's been on, so I've been, like, watching basketball every night, like, not watching tv. I did watch all the. I never really bring up the Chicago shows, but I am always watching. And these. They just wrapped up their seasons. So the finales of each show, Chicago Med was. There was a little bit of a twist. There was a. There was a pregnancy twist. Who's the father? There was a. Who's the father? And I, you know, I was surprised if you. For those watching, I was very out.

[Noah]

Who the father was.

[Ria]

Well, you don't know. It's a bits. It's a potential. It ended with it like her opening the door to somebody else that wasn't the guy she was dating. So you were like, oh, what the hell happened there?

[Noah]

Gotcha.

[Ria]

So that was very interesting. I'll give that a. I'll give it a B. It was it solved. And then actually no B minus because B minus. Chicago Fire had also another interesting ending. I wasn't, like, as invested in the storyline with the new chief, which was. What's his face? Dermot Maroney.

[Noah]

Hmm.

[Ria]

He's great. But I just. There was, like, a whole side plot with him that I just wasn't fully invested in, which was fine. But there was a love story element. With some other two characters that was very invested, and I was happy with the way that went. So I'll give that a B. And pd I'll give a B minus. I. I'm Pete. Pd. They gotta. They gotta do something with like. It's the same. It's the same formula every season. It's like, you know, they get the unit together and then Voight does something bad that is supposed to be for good, but he's, you know, he's still doing something real bad in order to get the result he wants. And it happens at the end of, like every season. So it's like, okay, he did it again. Up. Voight did it again. Something he's not supposed to do for the, you know, bigger. Bigger picture of what he thinks is good, I guess. But that. That is getting a little tired in my mind. I'm like, I don't know how much longer they can keep doing with the. That exact same formula.

[Noah]

And.

Yeah, that's it. That's it.

I don't have much. I watched episode one of the Rehearsal, season two. I never really watched season one. I like, saw it here and there, but it's really fun. Show Nathan Fielder.

Yeah, I feel like it's one of those.

[Ria]

Some people just, like, don't really get him. And then there's like, some people who are just like, he's funny and I, like, die for him. And I just. I just. I don't. I'm in the. I don't get him.

You had to take a guess of somebody who loves smokes.

Because he, like, thinks he's him.

[Ria]

It's the same thing of Tim Robinson with. I think you should leave. I'm more on the side of, like, I don't really think he's like, I don't get that as much, but Nathan Fielder, like, I think it's objectively funny. Like, the first one this whole season is like, he's investigating that A lot of plane crashes are due to co pilots basically not having like, the courage to speak up or, like, say anything when the pilot's, like, making a mistake and that, like, causes all these crash. So he's like, looking into that. It's very funny. I'll give that a B plus, like one episode Studio. I'll give an A minus, like, just solid. You guys weren't watching your Friends and Neighbors?

I. No, I still haven't started it.

Here's the thing I was not paying close enough attention, which is really bad by me.

I don't think so. And I think I'm also seeing a lot of talk about, like, obviously everyone's Comparing it to the game and everything. Just, like, I don't think this is on her. Like, the creators of the show just, like, completely changed her character. And, like, this isn't this. Like, this is very different from the game is what I'm seeing. Not that I care about that, but from what I'm seeing, the game was more entertaining. And then they just switched. Switched it. And. And also, just from a finale standpoint, like, we watched it. Like, my mom and I watched it, and I was like. We were both like, oh, that. Oh, well, like, next week should be good. Like, there was no way in our mind that could have been the finale because, like, the way that it ended was, like, what? That's how they ended it. That's the one. I'm giving that a C. And I.
