Crossed another thing off his list and a collab post on Tricks in the office for everybody to see. So cute. So how are we feeling today?
Ria Ciuffo
Now we have to I saw Noah's post so quickly that it was still a Singular post.
Julie Bowen
Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, but then I.
Fran Mariano
That's how you know there's. There were a couple comments early.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, it said like 17 seconds when he posted. And I was like, whoa, this. I don't know if I've ever seen a post faster than this.
Julie Bowen
That's like when you click somebody's Instagram story and it's like, they posted nine seconds ago. And you're like, fuck, I'm.
Fran Mariano
The first thing you know, happens to me all the time is I see. I'm like, oh, that probably is a new story because I didn't see it like a second ago. So I'm like, I'm not going to click on that. Let it, like, settle. And then I'm clicking through other stories and it pops up.
Ria Ciuffo
And then 30 seconds ago, you tried, you tried.
Fran Mariano
I tried to avoid it.
Ria Ciuffo
You tried to avoid it. You tried to avoid it. It was a beautiful day in. In New York. The humidity broke a little bit. I was walking to work. It was lovely. Felt good. I was like, I'll take a million days like this one.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, it's gorgeous.
Ria Ciuffo
Really, really quite lovely. But it was a nice weekend. I didn't do anything crazy. I had time on Long island family time celebrating my mother in law's birthdays this week. So we did a little early birthday situation. Gia came out to the beach on Saturday. Rhea came out to the beach.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
We had two separate re. A visit and a Gia visit. We separated not on the same day, unfortunately.
Julie Bowen
Not on the same day. I was busy on Saturday.
Ria Ciuffo
You were at a wedding on Saturday. But no, it was lovely. My nieces and nephew been asking about the whole, like, Labubu thing. And I was like, well, Gia has a ton of them, of course. So she brought them all and then they were all looking at them, gave one away. And then when she left, she gave each of them a labubu.
Julie Bowen
And they like, what a moment.
Ria Ciuffo
No, they.
Fran Mariano
Literally, that's like giving a kid a stock now.
Ria Ciuffo
No, they, they. They like, almost rejected the gift because they were like, this is too much. Like, no, no, like, like, they were so cute. They were like, but they're so expensive. I was like, well, this one, like, I was like, Gia bought these. Normally, like, they, you know. But yes, they were like, they were freaking out.
Julie Bowen
Wow, that's amazing.
Ria Ciuffo
And they already, you know, he had him clipped on this. Who's running around clipped on his shirt. I know, I know. I loved it.
Julie Bowen
See, it's great for kids.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. No, they were, they were. They were very, very excited See the.
Julie Bowen
Smile on those kids faces?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. No, it was cute. We had a. We had a really nice weekend. You were at a wedding, you know.
Julie Bowen
Yes, I was at a wedding. We were at the beach together on Friday. It was quite lovely. We were there for like six hours. It was delightful. First time on the beach this summer on Long island, which. It's too deep. It's too deep into the season to be saying that, but it is true.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So that was lovely. Had a wedding on Saturday, which was lovely. And then Friday we went to Mile Square Cafe in Hoboken. Just opened up, and it's so good. The same crater of Obeycol, which is also a very popular spot. You might have seen it online. It's very popular. Hoboken. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for anybody who lives in that area or is visiting. It's so, so good.
Ria Ciuffo
It was the toast.
Julie Bowen
It was like some sort of, like, jam and cheese. It was like a blueberry compote with the whipped ricotta. It was delicious. And then the breakfast burrito is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. And then they do this focaccia. That's cinnamon roll focaccia, which is unreal, but I think they saw out of those real fast.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's got to be a hot. Come on.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, those go quick. But it was so good. Such a delightful summer weekend, if I'm being completely honest.
Ria Ciuffo
It was really nice. Really very nice.
Julie Bowen
My nephew is, like, fully saying my name and Matt's name, and he's so cute. He's like, riri. I pretend to sleep and he came right to my face. He was like, riri. And then he's like, matt, hi. It's so funny. He can count to 10 in Spanish. Oh. Which is.
Fran Mariano
I witnessed it.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. No, witness it on FaceTime. Wild. Like, he can count to 10 in English, but he can also count to 10 in Spanish.
Ria Ciuffo
Good for him.
Julie Bowen
He's one and a half.
Guest
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Good for him.
Fran Mariano
I can't count to 10 in Spanish, and I took Spanish for, like, four years.
Julie Bowen
It's very impressive. I'm like, oh, my gosh.
Ria Ciuffo
What's he. What is he watching, like, shows and stuff?
Julie Bowen
Yeah, yeah, he watches English and Spanish.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, that's sm.
Julie Bowen
So he's. He's learning both, and he is. It's. It's amazing. I was like, wow, it's gonna be.
Ria Ciuffo
A little bilingual kid.
Julie Bowen
I know, but I know that, like, obviously this happens, but it's my first time witnessing, like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
You know, it's the first baby in My family that I'm, like, witnessing learn things and stuff, but the fact that he can, like, point at letters and say what they are, you know, like, it's not just. He doesn't just have it, like, memorized. Like, he's pointing at the letters and identifying them. You know, like a B, he could say. And then, like, fruits and stuff. He's like, strawberry. I'm like, what? You say strawberry. I'm just mind blown by it all, you know, it's just amazing. It's just amazing to watch. And just when he says reread, like, oh, my God, it's just the cutest thing in the world.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Oh, God. Melts my heart.
Ria Ciuffo
So, yeah, he is adorable.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Nice weekend. I got my full wedding pictures back on Sunday, and they're gorgeous. They're absolutely gorgeous. I'm posting more tonight because I have endless. But the amount of pictures that I'm, like, so happy to see everybody in, but at the same time, so jealous that I'm not in them. Oh, my God. First of all, it's your wedding.
Ria Ciuffo
You can't be in all.
Julie Bowen
You can't be in all the mentions.
Ria Ciuffo
You can't be in all the.
Julie Bowen
Some of this group together.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, you got some all.
Julie Bowen
No, I'm not in any of them. You lovely, beautiful pictures of you guys. Then there's gorgeous photos of you, Kelly and Gia that are just absolutely stunning. Then all my. Thank you. All my other friends as well, all their husbands and wives posing together. I'm like, why aren't we in the middle?
Ria Ciuffo
Well, you just. You can't be in every picture. You would spend your entire night just taking pictures.
Julie Bowen
I know. And I'm like, these are such gorgeous pictures, but they're missing two people in each of them. You know what I mean? But it was.
Ria Ciuffo
But no bride and groom is in.
Julie Bowen
No, no.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, this is what happened. The picture that you got your.
Fran Mariano
But nobody prepared got your wedding photos. And you're probably in what, like 90 of the photos? And you're just, like, focused on the 5% of like.
Julie Bowen
No, you guys are in a ton of them. That's. I'm looking through the album. I'm like, oh, there's Noah again. Oh, there's Fran again. Oh, there's Kel. There's Tommy looking absolutely disheveled in the background of every picture, which is actually so funny. Like, there are some A plus photographs in these albums, but I'm all in all joking. But nobody prepares you for that. Where you're gonna get your wedding album back and be like, damn, they were all having so much fun without me. But I was happy to see it because. Yeah, FOMO from your own wedding. No, but it really was like, seriously, we always talk about it like, we wouldn't change a thing. Like, it was literally so perfect. And looking at the pictures, I'm like, nope, I wouldn't change a thing.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, and you and Matt were having your little solo time upstairs for a second, or like, that's when Kelly and G and I were taking the pictures. So we want to go. What, go up there and get you?
Julie Bowen
No, no, because, yeah, we had a little bit of alone time with nobody around during cocktail hour. So those were one of those.
Fran Mariano
You go upstairs there. It's her and Marty. We're taking a team chicks in the office picture. You want to come down here?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Julie Bowen
No, no.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Matt, you stay up here. She'll be right back.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, no, no, I get it. Obviously.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
But it was actually so fun to see, like, all the, you know, like, random people and pictures together that I sent you a couple there. You were like, it's like my aunt and another friend. Like, so many random groups of people together in pictures, which is so, so fun to see.
Ria Ciuffo
And Joe had, like, a full blown solo at the rehearsal dinner.
Julie Bowen
Let me tell you, the amount of pictures. I didn't even send you all them. The amount of pictures of just solo Joe that are in my wedding album from the rehearsal dinner to the wedding. I'm like, there are so many pictures of just Joe. Like, me and Matt were like, there's Joe again. Like, why is there.
Ria Ciuffo
He's a photographer. He and Sarah had a very funny relationship. Your photographer. And they were just. And he.
Julie Bowen
There's just a lot of pictures of Joe.
Ria Ciuffo
She's taking pictures.
Fran Mariano
He was her muse.
Julie Bowen
Ye. You know, clearly.
Ria Ciuffo
No, it's like he was doing a whole shoot. He's drinking the red wine, the rehearsal dinner, and then the night of your wedding, he's. He's got the cigar. Whole cigar shoot.
Julie Bowen
I was like, there's a full. I can make a. A wedding album of just Joe. Like, that's. That's how many there are. But I love it. It's so funny. I. I told myself that I was, like, gonna go through them slowly. And then Matt and I went through them together, like, for the first time. And then he was like, all right, let's, like, take a breather. Let's close it out. Go back through it. This week. He wanted to experiment making some dessert. Last night he made. He was like, I'm gonna get started on this. It was actually really delicious. Some sort of s' mores cookie Oreo ensemble. It was really good. I have a picture.
Ria Ciuffo
Delicious.
Julie Bowen
And so he starts doing that. And then I'm just back on my phone like this. Head down, crouched for two hours straight, just looking at every picture. He was like. He was like, I thought we were gonna take a breather. I was like, no, I'm setting up a post. I can't.
Ria Ciuffo
I can't stop. I just can't right now.
Julie Bowen
I just can't. No. There are so, so many amazing pictures. I was so excited to relive it all. And I have a ton to share more with you guys of yourselves. But I will send those out a link.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I want them because I want.
Fran Mariano
Them to be their stuff. I'm excited to see them because I feel like I'll be experiencing this wedding for the first time. A lot of it. Cause, like, there's a big blur there.
Julie Bowen
Should we do a viewing this weekend?
Ria Ciuffo
I want to post them, too. One of the things that I feel as a bride, you love your wedding photos so much, and then you. There's a little bit of a delay, of course, in getting the whole album. So you send them to everyone and, like, you love them so much. I remember sending my pictures to, like, my friends and everybody. And after a couple days, I was like, nobody fucking posted any of these pictures on their social media. Like, these are stunning photos.
Julie Bowen
You're right.
Ria Ciuffo
You're right. Why didn't anybody. And then I'm like, he's going to use. You know, it's a couple of months later there. The posts have been put up already. It was pictures from people's phone. Right. But I'm like, damn, I sent my friends these photos. They look stunning. And nobody wanted to post.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, because there is that. Because then. Then they got to do like a random. Oh, random dump.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. You know, let me tell you, the ones that you were sending to me, I was like, these. They're worthy of being thrown on the story, at least.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, for sure. I have. I have a lot more I have to send you of us. Like, from rehearsal dinner. There's so many. Let me tell you, the pictures from the rehearsal dinner are iconic. Like, there are so many fucking amazing pictures from this rehearsal dinner. Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
That means its whole own post again.
Julie Bowen
Listen, everyone, bear with me. There will be more posts going up. I'm gonna keep posting because I'm doing a whole solo spread tonight. I have all these pictures of myself that I'M like, these gotta go somewhere.
Ria Ciuffo
If the world must see these. If I will say, my friends texted in our group chest like last night being like, Ria looks like such a stunning model in all.
Julie Bowen
Oh, my God, thank you.
Ria Ciuffo
The fact that photos.
Julie Bowen
The fact that Vogue didn't pick this one up. I mean, I'm kidding. But come on. This one. That. That's like.
Ria Ciuffo
No, they're insane. They're. I'm just like, gorgeous.
Julie Bowen
No magazine. Nobody wanted this.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, I bet you. I bet you Sarah would send them all.
Julie Bowen
Has she sent them and we talked about it App. When we first saw the pictures, I was like, yo, somebody's gonna pick these. Know it is what it is.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
It's just for. It's just sometimes it's for us.
Ria Ciuffo
It's right.
Julie Bowen
It's for the listeners, for the dedicated.
Ria Ciuffo
You don't know. It's like, you see the people have them. People have that plan beforehand.
Julie Bowen
They do.
Ria Ciuffo
And then, you know, it feels like a. Like a certain amount of pressure. When you have it planned beforehand.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
No, when you get after, it's like.
Fran Mariano
Oh, oh, Photoshop them to like, look like they're.
Julie Bowen
Oh, my God. You totally should. But Anna Wintour would sue.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Julie Bowen
Well, not anymore. Yeah, that's true. Like when she sued Drake.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Julie Bowen
Fake Vogue cover.
Ria Ciuffo
Make it like Vogue Italia.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, yeah, I'll send you those now. I'll work on it.
Fran Mariano
People exclusive or is that too.
Julie Bowen
No, no, no, these are.
Ria Ciuffo
I just said Vogue Italian.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Come on, please. These are better than a people exclusive.
Ria Ciuffo
So many other countries of Vogue that we could do.
Julie Bowen
Right. I'm being very. I'm being very cocky about the wedding photos that I think I can do because they do.
Ria Ciuffo
I honestly, they're gorgeous.
Julie Bowen
I'm not sure I'll ever look better than I did. I look at these pictures and videos. I'm like, no, I. It doesn't get. Unfortunately does not get better for myself and I'll have to live with that. So, you know, it is what it is and I'm happy it happened.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, exactly. And it's. It was worth. It was all.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
It was also perfection. Exactly.
Julie Bowen
So happy about it.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. Now you can post as much as you want. Honestly, Like, I know girls who have posted maybe every single, like throughout a year have post every single wedding photo. I'm like, there must not be any less.
Julie Bowen
You're going to run out. Yeah. I said to Matt, I was like, don't worry. I saved you. I saved you a couple.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Like, here's you.
Ria Ciuffo
Can you can have these few.
Julie Bowen
He's like, I want to post some. I'm like, don't worry, I have. I. There's still a ton in there for you to post, trust me. He's got some great solo shots as well, like getting ready. He's got some with the boys. Yeah, there are some great solo shots. Looking sharp. Yeah, they're fantastic. But yeah, more, more to come. More dropping this week. Everybody can't wait to see Noah. How was your weekend?
Fran Mariano
It was good, you know. Check 23 off the list here. The Jordan number and I had. We had lunch at the Jordan Bar at Mohegan Sun Shadow. Mohegan Sun. They reached out and like set the whole thing up for me and my family. And we had like a bunch of. At one point we had like 12 people from our family there.
Ria Ciuffo
Where?
Julie Bowen
Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
The one in Connecticut.
Fran Mariano
The one in Connecticut, yeah.
Julie Bowen
Okay, nice.
Fran Mariano
But yeah, like, it was my whole family. Grandparents. It was. Take grandparents to casino. That's number 23. So we did it. My grandpa's like always been a big gambler, so it was hard to get him off the tables once he started. And he was killing it as a relatable. He was like, he never wanted to leave, but he was up big. And I literally lost all my money that I put down the whole day. Like the most I've ever lost at a casino. Like, it was actually I was. I was a loser. You wanna get a loser?
Julie Bowen
I was a number.
Fran Mariano
A 400. Like just minus 400. Like. And that was all just blackjack. But I was never up. I was never up.
Julie Bowen
You just knocked me down.
Fran Mariano
Only lost. But you know, my grandma evaporated. Grandma hit the slots, which was nice. My mom, actually, my mom left up on blackjack.
Julie Bowen
Nice.
Fran Mariano
And she's not really a big card player, but yeah, it was great. Went to Beauty in Essex, the restaurant at Milligan Sand. That was really nice. Really good food and yeah, it was a good all around trip. Quick hit the pool.
Ria Ciuffo
Lovely.
Julie Bowen
Get a little sun.
Fran Mariano
No, but it was great.
Julie Bowen
But you swam a little bit.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, swam a little bit and yeah, it was a fun trip.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, that's great. That was a very. A very wholesome.
Fran Mariano
It was very.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm sure your grandparents.
Fran Mariano
Oh, yeah. I don't think my grandpa wanted to leave.
Ria Ciuffo
Your grandma. Your grandma commented on the.
Julie Bowen
On the post.
Ria Ciuffo
So cute.
Julie Bowen
So cute. My grandpa. So cute.
Ria Ciuffo
It's just adorable.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Mary also commented.
Ria Ciuffo
Murray also. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Why do I feel like.
Ria Ciuffo
Wish I was there.
Julie Bowen
Why do I feel like Noah's 3430 list is like, also just like, his Tinder profile. You know what I mean? It's just, like, things he's. He's knocking off, but it's also like, look at me with my grandparents. Look at me with my mom.
Ria Ciuffo
Honestly, great for a Danny profile, for sure.
Fran Mariano
The family ones are the ones that people eat up the most.
Julie Bowen
Yes, of course.
Ria Ciuffo
Look at me on a pony.
Fran Mariano
I'm like, right?
Julie Bowen
There's just so many.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I.
Julie Bowen
Look at me cooking.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. And I was like, grandma, you want to get a couple more pics?
Julie Bowen
You don't have to do anything. Just stand there. Look pretty.
Fran Mariano
No.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I think this is probably the first time that she was probably like, all right, enough.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, you're using me is absolutely adorable.
Julie Bowen
So cute. So happy for you, Noah, and happy.
Ria Ciuffo
For your family and everybody that left with money.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Fran Mariano
Yes, Me.
Ria Ciuffo
Anybody else big winners or. It was really.
Fran Mariano
I don't think my brother. I don't think he left. My sister might have won some money on slots.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
But no, you know, it was nice. Like, at the restaurant, they brought out, like, a cool, like, Ferris wheel as, like, a nice gesture at the end with, like, each part of the Ferris wheel had, like, a different dessert. On the Ferris wheel, you spin it. But then the guy was like. But I'm. I was, like, smiling real big when he came over, and he's like, I hate that you're smiling because these all are, like, possibly contaminated. But then he's like, I'll come back. Shout out. Austin, the waiter, he was great. He's like, I'll come back and get you some. He brought, like, the best apple pie, like, ever, just for me, because, you know.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
But. Yeah, I always love when a restaurant looks out for the allergy. So.
Julie Bowen
Of course.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, that. It is really so sweet, too, because I think that during the summer especially, people are traveling and you and your siblings are older now, and it's harder to really, like, get everybody together. You know, I. I like. I see my sister. I see my. Like, it's you. There's only a couple times you really get, like, all the whole family, you know? So I feel like it's such a. It's been such a cute way for you guys to all, like, be doing all these activities together. It's so nice.
Julie Bowen
When I was making Noah's Bringing the family together.
Fran Mariano
No, I actually said that, like, yesterday, but I. When I was making the list, I said to my mom, like, are we going to actually be able to get them to go to the casino? Because otherwise I'M not going to put on a list. Like, I'm like, I need a guarantee, like. And yeah, we made it happen. So there you go.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, very, very nice. All right, well, let's get into the rest of the show. We got some topics to cover. We also have a great interview with Julie Bowen, who was awesome. Love, so much fun. We've been wanting her on the show for a while now, so we cannot wait to share that interview with you guys. We're going to be talking about the Coldplay.
Ria Ciuffo
The Coldplay couple fair heard around the world.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, we're a little late, but we talk about it. Alleged Pete Davidson is having a baby. That was shocked everybody.
Ria Ciuffo
That was not alleged. They are having.
Julie Bowen
They are having a baby. Jax Taylor will not return to the Valley. Season 3. Charli XCX is married and Harry Jowsey was seen out with Sia. But he's also getting a new Netflix show about marrying him. So it's very confusing. Mad Libs. Yeah. We also have the weekly Watch Report and a great interview with Julie Bowen. So let's get right into it. Let me tell you, there is no better feeling than making it in time for McDonald's breakfast. And guess what? I made it in time today for McDonald's Breakfast. And this episode is brought to you by McDonald's. You can get the egg McMuffin, which I have in this hand, a little bacon, egg, cheese McMuffin. I got a hash brown in my left hand. You can hear the crinkle of the paper right into the microphone. I'm gonna take a little bite of that hash brow. I don't want to chew in the mic, but you get the point. It's absolutely delicious. You can go hash browns, you can go fries. Let's just say I woke up dreaming about this McDonald's that's in my hand right now. You can also put this hash brown in between the McMuffin. What a beautiful treat that will be. So breakfast always comes first. Wake up and get that McDonald's breakfast. This has been the most viral thing to happen in a long time. Yeah, we missed the boat last week to talk about it, but we have to talk about what's going on. Last week at the Coldplay concert in Boston, an alleged affair was brought to light. Coldplay was doing their cam around the concert showing, you know, people love people in Coldplay. Lovey dovey during Coldplay.
Fran Mariano
You know what song that's during? Is it like during a specific song he was talking?
Ria Ciuffo
I thought maybe. Oh, yeah, like, you know, I don't know if he was.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
And he does warn people before. They're like, oh, we're gonna show, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, he did that after.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, he did. But at the show. He did. He did do it that night.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, he did that.
Julie Bowen
People were saying he did. That's why they're confused why they still stayed. You know, you just assume the camera's not gonna hit you.
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, you're a guest. You're. You're Gillette, one of the.
Julie Bowen
One of the.
Ria Ciuffo
So many people there. But I guess they could figure out the odds. Many people were there.
Fran Mariano
Did you see the video of Bruce Springsteen from, like, a long time ago? But they're like, this is like how they should have done it. Where he basically was like, all right, we're gonna be filming now. So anyone who's here with someone they're not supposed to be with Duck. And they're like, chris Martin should start doing that.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Well, then he, you know, make that.
Ria Ciuffo
Joke in the next show. Kind of was like, all right, everybody, Everybody gear up.
Julie Bowen
But apparently he did do it that night, too. So I don't know what these people were thinking. And once again, we haven't gotten any, like, sort of confirmation besides the fact that the way the Internet works. As soon as this video hit the Internet, because the way they ducked was.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, struck by lightning. That guy would only.
Julie Bowen
Would only mean that you're doing something you're not supposed to be doing on that camera.
Fran Mariano
Do you think if they reacted completely normally, that this would never have even been, like, he would have been. Gotten away with it?
Ria Ciuffo
1. I was about to say 100%, but maybe not.
Julie Bowen
1.
Fran Mariano
Someone there might have known him because.
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe somebody would recognize them on the Jumbotron. But it would have maybe stayed within the. Their own network.
Fran Mariano
It wouldn't have gone viral, you know?
Julie Bowen
Right.
Ria Ciuffo
Would have made maybe local Boston. Like, it's not. But it would not have been as viral because who would have been like, oh, my God, watch this guy. Like, what? It was so clear.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. I think it would have been, like, a private thing. Like, oh, my God. I saw so and so and so and so wrapped around each other's arms. The Coldplay concert. What the. But this was like, oh, my God. The way they ducked for cover was so obvious. And then immediately.
Ria Ciuffo
And the way Chris Martin made the joke, immediately it was like, oh, yeah.
Julie Bowen
He's like, oh, yeah. Chris Martin didn't help the fact Chris.
Ria Ciuffo
Martin was like, these two people are either having an affair or they're really shy. So it's like, oh, right.
Julie Bowen
And I think, I think you nailed it on the head first one. Yeah. And the Internet immediately figured out who these people were. And they work together. One is the CEO and the other one's the C, if I have that correct. And then apparently the woman. This is all alleged because you see stuff on the Internet and you're like, does that picture match up? I'm not sure. But the woman standing next to them who was like smiling but like with her hands up on her face, is apparently the head of hr, the VP of people at the company.
Ria Ciuffo
The C suite of Astronomer had a tough night.
Julie Bowen
And like, you know, I mean, the. How ironic to have the head of HR standing next to you with this whole shebang. It was just insane. And then they found Facebook posts of, of the, you know, the c. The alleged CPO congratulating the HR woman. They've been together at four companies together. And you know, I don't know how true. This is all like a Facebook post. So I'm like, is that made up? Is that, you know, now with AI, I'm like, is that a real Facebook post? Or have they really worked at every company together? Like, I'm, I'm so lost on this. All I know is these two people got to be having one of the worst weeks.
Guest
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
All we do know for sure is that he has resigned as CEO.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
That is, you know, the astronomers the company worked at did make that public because for a while at the end of the week, there were just fake statements, fake posts that were being posted by, you know, well followed outlets that you're like, wait a second. Like, why is Hollywood unlocked posting this statement that's saying it's coming directly from the CEO. The last line. And that's something I would raise as a friend once said, lights will guide you and we'll try to fix you. So many people, people were like, wow, this is really. His. Really put out this. Put out this statement. But no, we just know that he's resigned. We really don't know that many other facts of this couple. Besides, everyone jumped on the train of they're both married, they're both, they're having an affair. How deep does it go? We don't know.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, we don't know all the intricate details.
Ria Ciuffo
I do feel, I do feel terribly for their families because, like, I was even just browsing Page Six this morning and slapped right on the top of, on the top of a story is this woman's. A picture of this woman's family, like with young kids I mean, their faces were blurred. But her. I don't know if that's, you know, her. Her current husband or ex husband, whoever it was. You know, his pictures in it.
Julie Bowen
It's like a kid should never be blasted anyway. But it's just like, you know, they're. They didn't ask to be brought into this.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, you just go to one. You just go to one Coldplay concert.
Julie Bowen
And then I saw Tatini Frankel's so TikTok, where she was like, this isn't like Ozzy Osbourne or like Metallica. Like, you went to Coldplay. Coldplay, universally loved, all ages, all families, you all love. You know what I mean? It's. It's like. But then there's. And then there's the rumors that, like. And of course this happens where, like, his wife's favorite is Coldplay.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
It's like, how do you know that?
Ria Ciuffo
No one knows.
Julie Bowen
How do you know that?
Ria Ciuffo
Now you're just saying.
Julie Bowen
But then we, you know, as a reader buying into it, you're like, are you fucking kidding me? Of course. Our favorites, Coldplay. Of course he would do that to her.
Ria Ciuffo
It's just. I mean, we, We. We rarely have those days where the Internet just jumps on one story like that and the memes are endless. And that's how it was at the end of last week. And yes, unfortunately, it is at the expense of these families that are nor apparently, you know, very normal. It's. This guy is a massive. He's a wealthy man. So of course that jumps on the headlines when people see that. It's like, oh, this is an actual story now. Because we can talk about the fact that this guy's, like a CEO billionaire, you know, having this crazy whatever, Taking. Taking this girl to Coldplay.
Julie Bowen
Nobody cares about the teacher and the mailman having an affair. They care about the CEO billionaire.
Fran Mariano
Not that Coldplay need the, like, publicity, but this has to be like, their ticket sales must be skyrocketing. I would think, like, I gotta get to a Coldplay concert.
Ria Ciuffo
I'll tell you something. Coldplay.
Julie Bowen
Coldplay, I think, has.
Ria Ciuffo
Coldplay is selling tickets. They're selling out these stadiums nonstop. I actually went to go see. Cause I was mad. I was like, damn, they're not even playing New York again.
Fran Mariano
I know, I know some people from, like, New York went to Boston.
Ria Ciuffo
I didn't see it.
Julie Bowen
I heard. I know somebody who's going this weekend. Where would it be? Would it not be.
Fran Mariano
I thought I heard people from New York.
Ria Ciuffo
They're doing a ton of shows in.
Fran Mariano
London, Boston, because that's the closest.
Ria Ciuffo
But it's like. But this is the end. It's like the second leg of their tour, Nashville, that I already. I went to already.
Fran Mariano
They're in Nashville tomorrow. That's the next one.
Ria Ciuffo
They're Nashville tomorrow.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. And then they're going to Miami.
Ria Ciuffo
Miami.
Julie Bowen
And Miami would make sense.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. And then I think they're doing a.
Fran Mariano
Bunch of oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Shows that in Wembley.
Fran Mariano
The amount of Wembley shows they have is actually, oh, my God.
Julie Bowen
Let's go back.
Ria Ciuffo
They're doing, like, seven or eight Wembley.
Fran Mariano
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 Wembley shows.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, God.
Fran Mariano
How is that possible?
Ria Ciuffo
I don't blame them. They couldn't keep their love away from Coldplay, because Coldplay, I, I, they're one of my favorite shows.
Fran Mariano
I've always wanted to go.
Julie Bowen
Damn. I, you know, I kind of want to go.
Ria Ciuffo
It's one of the first concerts Joe and I ever went to together at MetLife. And then anytime we had, like, the time of our lives at any time, we've been like, we have to go again. And the last time they were in New York, we also went, but got so many funny tweets and posts. And, like, I love the one that was, like, the other guy cheating on his wife at Coldplay.
Julie Bowen
Phew. I saw that so up. Because like you said, it's at the expense of these families, which is so sad.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
But when the Internet really joins in together on something, it's like, gosh, you just can't look away. But I was.
Ria Ciuffo
You're just giggling nonstop.
Julie Bowen
When I saw that fake statement, I saw it on my phone, and then I took a nap, and I, like, went. I took my nap thinking that that statement was real.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
And I woke up to our, like, old Cutting Sims group. Trent was like, is this a real statement? And I was like, oh, my God, it's not real. But at the same time, Matt sent it to me, being like, oh, my God. And then me and Noah were kind of playing a prank on him to make him believe it was real. And he was yelling in the apartment, is it real or is it not?
Ria Ciuffo
He was like.
Julie Bowen
He's like, you guys are messing with me.
Ria Ciuffo
I was like, I don't know.
Fran Mariano
The memes are so funny of, like, people photoshopping different people into that circle. Oh, like, there's so many good ones.
Ria Ciuffo
So many good ones. All the other sport, like, all the sports teams have been making jokes about it. The. The Phillies one was so funny. Doing a Kiss cam during the. During the game. And then you got the fanatic. He's jumping everyone. It's just there was a guy who. There. Who was there kissing his wife. He did a giant sign that said, this is my wife.
Julie Bowen
Like, it's just very funny.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, boy.
Julie Bowen
Did you see.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, boy.
Julie Bowen
Morgan Wallen was like, I don't condone cheating anymore. I was like, oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Nice.
Julie Bowen
You know, at least there was some, like, awareness in that.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, a little bit. Right. You know. Right, right.
Julie Bowen
A little bit.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
But, yeah, it was just endless, endless jokes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I can't wait for, like, the first in real, like, interview Chris Martin does about this. About this moment.
Julie Bowen
Right. It might be his most asked question.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
The next time he does any sort of interview.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Julie Bowen
He probably honestly feels really bad.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I'm sure. I'm sure, like.
Fran Mariano
I'm sure, like, to make the joke immediately.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Because you.
Julie Bowen
You.
Ria Ciuffo
You think you're just making these. You're just making a heart, like a very. Just easy joke. Like, it's just not that deep, but it really was that deep. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Obviously you don't feel bad for them, because if this is all true.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right, right.
Julie Bowen
This is insane of them.
Ria Ciuffo
And they're, you know, all adjacent people, though. Right.
Julie Bowen
But all the families. You got to feel bad, like, oh, shit, the families. But, hey, Exposed. They were gonna. They were gonna get exposed somehow. They were gonna get exposed, and it happened live in front of everybody.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, this has gotta be. Of course, it's gone to such a huge level across the country, but this has got to be at a next level, like in Boston, you know? Oh, yeah.
Julie Bowen
Well, now the Karen Reed stuff's over. They've moved on to the culture, and.
Ria Ciuffo
It'S just like, this is. We need. They're probably digging deep into, like, where these. Everything about these.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Families in Boston.
Julie Bowen
We should.
Ria Ciuffo
Whoa.
Julie Bowen
We should ask Haley if she knows anything about the families.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's. She probably does. Yeah, she probably does.
Julie Bowen
They probably. Lots of gossip happening.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Probably on Facebook groups. Big time.
Guest
For sure.
Julie Bowen
Big time. Last week, this news came out of nowhere. Pete Davidson and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt announced that they are expecting a baby.
Ria Ciuffo
Congratulations.
Julie Bowen
You know what? Good for you, Pete. Go get him. Daddy Pete.
Fran Mariano
There you go.
Ria Ciuffo
Daddy. Pete. Pete. Daddy.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Pete Daddy. Davidson.
Ria Ciuffo
Davidson.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. That's his new nickname. That's what they're calling him.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Fran Mariano
Pete Daddy's a little too close to Pete Diddy.
Ria Ciuffo
Fair.
Julie Bowen
Okay. Yeah, fair.
Ria Ciuffo
Moving on.
Julie Bowen
Daddy Pete.
Ria Ciuffo
Let's go with Daddy Davidson.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Daddy Davidson. Yeah, that's it. That's like a movie.
Ria Ciuffo
Daddy Daycare.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Daddy Daycare 3.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Daddy Davidson.
Ria Ciuffo
Starring Pete Davidson as Daddy Davidson.
Julie Bowen
Wow. Honestly, like, the trailer just ran through my head really fast. No, well, congratulations to them.
Ria Ciuffo
It was cute. She posted. Very, very cute. Like, the news came out in the tabloids and kind of simultaneous. Simultaneously, she had posted pictures revealing the pregnancy.
Julie Bowen
She.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, the caption was funny. Is like, now everyone knows we had sex, but. Yeah, we. Yep, exactly.
Julie Bowen
Don't call me dirty.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly.
Julie Bowen
But I assume that.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly.
Julie Bowen
They haven't been together for long, but. No, you know what?
Ria Ciuffo
But, you know, it feels like, as somebody that does not know him at all on any level.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
It feels like a good time for him.
Julie Bowen
Right?
Ria Ciuffo
You know?
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Feels like he was ready for this next.
Julie Bowen
He didn't want to be the celebrity boyfriend anymore. He wants to be the celebrity dad.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Julie Bowen
And now he's gonna do just, like.
Ria Ciuffo
Lock it in, start a family.
Julie Bowen
I got no qualms with this. Like, you know, if you guys. If you two fell in love and all, you want to have a kid, you go for it.
Ria Ciuffo
Pete, my age.
Julie Bowen
I don't know his age, so I would be lying if I said yes or no.
Fran Mariano
He is 31.
Ria Ciuffo
30. Yeah. So close.
Fran Mariano
Turning 32.
Ria Ciuffo
Close enough where it's like, you know.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, he's 31. When's. When's his birthday?
Fran Mariano
November.
Julie Bowen
32, right around the corner.
Ria Ciuffo
He's born in 90.
Julie Bowen
93.
Ria Ciuffo
3. Yeah. We're actually very close in age, but yes.
Julie Bowen
Daddy Jo.
Ria Ciuffo
Not quite imagine. I was like. And here's the perfect time.
Julie Bowen
No, no, no, no. Don't do that.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, we got. I got. I got Olive to take care of.
Julie Bowen
How would you announce your pregnancy to me?
Ria Ciuffo
I have no clue. I have no clue.
Julie Bowen
You wouldn't do it, like, live on the podcast, right?
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Julie Bowen
Okay. That's, like. Does not scream you at all.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no.
Fran Mariano
Wasn't there a time where you thought that she was, like, about to say that on the podcast and maybe just as a joke? I. I know. You see? Yeah.
Julie Bowen
I'd be able to catch on if Fran was pregnant fast.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
We spend so much time together, it would be pretty easy.
Ria Ciuffo
It would be really hard to. Yeah, it'll be really hard to hide. Very hard to hide.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I mean, one of my.
Julie Bowen
Got to worry about that for years.
Ria Ciuffo
One of my. One of my best friends from childhood just told me she was pregnant in. In a. In a bridesmaid's box.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. So there and it felt like a teenage pregnancy.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, I was like. She was. I'm like, whoa. But it's just you. Yeah. There's certain. There's certain ways. But, no, I would not do it on the box.
Julie Bowen
No, I wouldn't. That wouldn't be your thing. I wouldn't expect that at all.
Ria Ciuffo
No, because also, it just logistically wouldn't work. You would know before I would definitely. You would know before I wanted to publicly say it for sure. Of course.
Julie Bowen
Because you're gonna wait three months.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. No, no.
Julie Bowen
Well, I made sure to tell my. Like, make it clear to my family is this weekend that they have years to wait. And they're very okay with that. They're like, yes, good.
Guest
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Look, I. I. That's. I had my. I had my. I got the dog. My dad, like, reacted so in such a funny way in Italy to somebody asking about, like, oh, you know, you. You next, Grandpa, whatever. And, you know, he's. He was like, no, I'm not ready. I'm like, okay. You're like, wait.
Julie Bowen
Actually, yeah, married.
Ria Ciuffo
Meanwhile, he met Olive last week, and he was, like, trying to feed her fries under the table, dinner being like, oh, Pop, Pop. Just gonna give you a little treat. I'm like, dad, what are you doing?
Julie Bowen
He got a little taste of that being called Pop, Pop, Pop.
Ria Ciuffo
I was like, oh, what is happening, by the way? I had a. Just, you know, the journey of having Olive. And obviously, I. I've told everybody that I. Joe was not home when I brought the dog home. And. And Joe has certainly changed his tude. But this weekend, he was like, olive's the best thing you've ever done.
Julie Bowen
I was like, wow, that really is a change about the flip. Yeah. Talk about the flip.
Ria Ciuffo
Because it really is. It goes to show, it really is like, the meme of, you know, the. The dad is like the dad with the. With the puppy that's like, oh, the dog. The dog my dad didn't want. Yeah. And they're.
Julie Bowen
Well, I remember I was on my honeymoon, and you texted me the pictures of Olive, and I was like, oh, my God, what did Joe say? And you were like, oh.
Ria Ciuffo
He doesn't.
Julie Bowen
He doesn't know.
Ria Ciuffo
He doesn't know yet.
Julie Bowen
And I was like, oh, he'll get over it.
Ria Ciuffo
I was like, oh, yeah, that's fine. Yeah, well, clock it.
Guest
The July.
Ria Ciuffo
July.
Julie Bowen
What did it take?
Ria Ciuffo
Olive is the best you've ever done. End quote.
Julie Bowen
So done.
Ria Ciuffo
Take it.
Julie Bowen
That's all you needed. Just took a little bit to get there.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. But especially when you're spending time at.
Julie Bowen
Home on the beach.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
No, you know, that sort of weekend. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
It was a glimpse into the.
Fran Mariano
My mom's getting up for an East Mountain dog today for Just for the week.
Julie Bowen
Wow.
Fran Mariano
Just for the week. It's already adopted. But they needed, like, in between foster. Yeah, but that should be.
Ria Ciuffo
Wow. Yeah, there's. There was this. There's this dog that went viral on Tick Tock. She was in, like the big shelter in. In Newark and this creator made it like her mission to get this dog adopted. She was in the shelter for like over a year, like, longest time. And just. And everybody, like all these videos about how everybody loves. Her name was Radiance. And she posted this weekend that Radiance got adopted. And I literally was like sobbing watching the video. I was like, yes. That's so sweet. Yes. Because she. All these videos of the doll will go viral and then everyone, like, she make another one. Being like, Radiance keeps going viral, but where are the people. Right.
Julie Bowen
Who are using her?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Adopting her.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. And. And she was adopted, so that was amazing news. I love seeing that. Love seeing that. That she got adopted. But yeah, we started talking about dogs when we were talking about babies, but.
Julie Bowen
Because we went from Daddy P. Yeah. Daddy Joe. And then, you know, things just spiraled out of him. But congratulations to Pete Davidson. We are all happy for you.
Ria Ciuffo
Absolutely.
Julie Bowen
Jax Taylor will not be returning to the Valley season three. Does this come as a huge surprise? No. Will Jax Taylor. Oh, really?
Ria Ciuffo
I just thought, like, he would hold. Like he would always want to be on.
Julie Bowen
I feel like he probably does. I'm not. Was it his decision?
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I thought it was.
Julie Bowen
Oh, maybe they made it seem like it was his decision, but it wasn't. You know, like, I think maybe that maybe they really stepped in and they were like, this is all assumption for me. They were like, oh, Jack Saylor. You know, like, he actually really does need help. You know, I don't know if he should be swinging it back on reality TV any further.
Ria Ciuffo
His statement was, after an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I'll be stepping away from the next season of the Valley. Right now, my focus needs to be my sobriety, my mental health and co parenting. So that's. You could see maybe both sides.
Julie Bowen
Maybe the. Maybe the network was like, you need to focus on your mental health, your sobriety and your co parenting.
Ria Ciuffo
For him to say, like, my team and the producers, it's like, maybe you just have a conversation. They're like, this is. We don't really see the show being a great spot for you right now because. And that is fair, I think, like, the rest of the season of the Valley. Did you know Jax was in rehab? Back out, kind of doing crazy things with Britney. Heard about all the texts that he was sending and kind of like spying through the cameras and just all these things that really sounded pretty bad. So he didn't really say, like, oh, I'm gone forever. But he will be stepping away from this next season of the Valley, which feels as if. As a viewer. Feels appropriate.
Julie Bowen
It does feel appropriate. I think that we saw some things that were quite uncomfortable this past season in the beginning that we maybe don't even want to see on TV anymore. We're just like, you need to figure this out on your own.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
It's just we've seen enough of Jax Taylor on our screens to know that we've had enough. Where it's like, he's not like a new reality star. Where we're like, oh, he's. He's a gem of a reality, so we need him on TV. It's like, no. We seen Jack Sailor on our TV for over 10 years. That we are like, actually, you just need help.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Because how many times have we. Especially even on Vanderpump, too, watching him where a new season would start, and he's like, I've turned over a new.
Julie Bowen
Leaf, and then it's just never.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
You know what?
Ria Ciuffo
So time to take it just off the show.
Julie Bowen
It's so unfortunate that Jax Teller and Jax Taylor are so close in names for Sons of Anarchy. Because I. I saw some people when we talked about Sons of Anarchy, they were like, I thought you were talking about Jax Taylor this whole time.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, no.
Julie Bowen
And I was like, no, no, no, no, no. Jax Teller. Get it right. Look up Jax Teller, Sons of Anarchy. You'll know who we're talking about.
Ria Ciuffo
Charlie Hunnam.
Julie Bowen
Yes. And that is the superior Jax is Jax Teller.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. Yes.
Julie Bowen
Not Jack Sailor. Let's make that abundantly clear. Absolutely. So he won't be returning, and we'll see what happens in the Valley.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm interested to see the direction the Valley is going to go in.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Because it was. I think a lot of it obviously stemmed around Brittany and Jax as a couple, too, so.
Julie Bowen
Yep. Moving on. Harry Jowsey was seen holding hands with Sia, which.
Ria Ciuffo
We'Re all as confused as everyone else's.
Julie Bowen
Very confusing. Because wasn't he dating Lucy Hale at some point recently?
Ria Ciuffo
He was.
Julie Bowen
And then that Fizzled out.
Ria Ciuffo
It must have.
Julie Bowen
And I think he's been single. And then we saw reports that was Netflix was developing a show called let's Marry Harry.
Ria Ciuffo
And it was like they are.
Julie Bowen
They're casting for it.
Ria Ciuffo
People involved.
Julie Bowen
Who are people who want to, you know, marry Harry Dowsey. But yes, he's the. Is he dating Sia? He's walking around holding hands with Sia. Is he gonna be like, sia, I gotta go do this show real quick. It's all fake. It's a reality show.
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe helping her to the car.
Julie Bowen
I don't know. They were spotted multiple times. It was just one time thing.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, really? I thought it was just them leaving this one restaurant. Oh. Plugged the show on her story this morning. So this is the. This is the show he's making. After traveling all. This is the Netflix announcement. After traveling all across the Netflix reality universe in search of his soulmate Harry, Jazzy will date a new pool of potential matches in hopes of finding what he truly wants. Authentic love and marriage. Having a show of my own is incredible. But also having my family and Netflix stop at no end to help me find the love of my life is the most amazing feeling. He is handing the reins of his love life to those who know him best. Let's marry Harry. His closest confidants will help him through this journey, it says, including podcast host Alex Cooper with their help. Jazzy, just my graduate from player to life partner, he said, I'm looking forward to doing this alongside one of my best friends, Alex Cooper. She is a big sister to me, and I know she'll help me not to be a silly sausage while keeping me grounded. I haven't necessarily been the best at keeping relationships, but I know if I was going to give love one last shot after all the work I've been putting into myself, I need Alex to help keep me in check while searching for a potential future wife. So she's going in on this with him. Let's marry Harry and me. So I guess this is. Could it all be promo for the show? But it's like, why would like, see.
Fran Mariano
It'S just like one of his close confidants, I guess.
Julie Bowen
But holding hands with him, it's got.
Fran Mariano
To be like a PR stunt. Then everyone's talking about it.
Julie Bowen
That's true.
Ria Ciuffo
So it's a. Or maybe. Yeah. It's just. Okay, here's the story. He see a posted it is the casting call for the show.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
And it says, I'm signing up and so should you. He's A dream at Harry Jowsey. And then there's a link to sign up. So I bet you Harry Jowsey is going to be seen with a bunch of, like, random. You never imagine people in, like, the next few weeks, and the next day they're all going to post how amazing he is. Here's the link to sign up to go on his dating show.
Julie Bowen
That's so smart. You're so right. You're so right. I won't even. I'm not even gonna look any further.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. That has to be it.
Julie Bowen
That's the marketing ploy.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's smart. That is smart.
Julie Bowen
That is a smart.
Ria Ciuffo
Get all these, like, random people to be like, wow, I loved having dinner with Harry. Jazzy, you would too. Here's a link to sign up.
Julie Bowen
That's such a good idea.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, where C's post is a full length.
Julie Bowen
How did your brain come up with that? I would still be sitting here going, why did. Then why are they holding hands?
Guest
You know, I'm just.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm just thinking of. I'm just thinking of, you know how Harry, the Harry Jowsey team works. They're trying to get him out there at all times, going viral, making a trend. Who.
Julie Bowen
Who paid C. Who will he be?
Ria Ciuffo
Netflix. That's my guess.
Julie Bowen
What a random.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Who will be seen next with him?
Julie Bowen
Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls.
Fran Mariano
I love him being like, this is my last shot. It's like, Isn't he like 25?
Julie Bowen
Yeah, he's 30 something.
Fran Mariano
He's he 30?
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
No, I think he's actually pretty young.
Ria Ciuffo
I think He' in his 20s.
Fran Mariano
He's 28.
Julie Bowen
Oh, yeah. Why is he acting like this is.
Fran Mariano
Like, I want to give love one last shot after dating, like every influencer in the world.
Julie Bowen
Is he kind of just like, it's my last Netflix show I'm ever doing. And he just turned 28.
Ria Ciuffo
And these are like, these are really nice pictures.
Julie Bowen
Right? They're crystal clear photos.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, they're crystal clear. They're beautiful photos. Like that photographer that. That guy had the best camera.
Julie Bowen
It's not somebody hiding in a bush capturing Siar, Harry Josie randomly. And also, Sia is not seen often.
Ria Ciuffo
No, she's not.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
See, actually really knows how to evade Papa. Like, I feel like she knows how to not be seen. And this was like, she's. She's out here facing all.
Julie Bowen
You know, he is like the most random person Harry Dawson could possibly be seen.
Ria Ciuffo
It really is. It really was. Yeah, it was smart.
Julie Bowen
Very smart. Good Marketing.
Ria Ciuffo
Then it's like, oh, the reps weren't available for a comment. They're walking down the fricking sidewalk, like, laughing, holding hands, like, you know, and.
Julie Bowen
They'Re like, this is gonna be great marketing.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yep, yep. Like, Page Six is writing, like, see a file for divorce recently. Like, wait, what? But now give it a, give it a. Give it like another week. We'll see who. We'll see who he's having dinner with next weekend. That's posting to sign up for the.
Julie Bowen
I'm calling in Nicole. The Pussycat Dolls.
Ria Ciuffo
Nicole Scherzinger is a good one.
Julie Bowen
I don't know why, that's like the first person I thought of.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. And just, you're. Well, see, you're in like, in the.
Julie Bowen
Realm of just like thinking like, music.
Ria Ciuffo
Music. Because Sia is In, what, her 40s?
Julie Bowen
My guess, Paul Abdul.
Fran Mariano
Oh, that's a good one.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. CS 49.
Fran Mariano
Mel B. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Didn't Mel B. Just get married?
Fran Mariano
Did she?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, she did.
Julie Bowen
I think literally last weekend.
Fran Mariano
Hey, it's Harry. Josie.
Ria Ciuffo
Okay, where's. Where's Heidi Klum right now? She's seeing someone or.
Julie Bowen
Gwyneth Paltrow.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Gwen. I don't think she's. She would. I don't think she would do it.
Julie Bowen
You don't think Gwyneth would do it?
Ria Ciuffo
I don't think she would do it.
Julie Bowen
I feel like Gwyneth, she has a.
Fran Mariano
Relationship with Alex Cooper.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. And Gwyneth.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, if not. And if it's a paying gig and.
Fran Mariano
I feel like they gotta be getting it.
Julie Bowen
She's always talking about, like her sex stuff.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, she was just.
Julie Bowen
I just saw something about her talking about a sex move. She was with Ben Affleck.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So I don't know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Wait, who just was on caller? Daddy. That I saw, like, looks like I just hooked up with a 26 year old.
Ria Ciuffo
Everyone was talking about Charlize there.
Fran Mariano
Oh, yeah, yeah. She's probably too big for him.
Julie Bowen
Could be with Harry Dowsey next. Who knows? Who knows? The possibilities are endless. Last topic, Charlie XCX got married to George Daniel this past weekend. George Daniel from the 1975. Looked like a casual, fun little wedding. They. They got married, they went out for a smoke, they went back in. They were just having a good time.
Ria Ciuffo
It really was. It just was like. Couldn't be more Charli xcx, you know? Not that I would ever think she would change, like do some crazy big change for a wedding, but it was just like her looking stunning in a wedding Dress and getting married.
Julie Bowen
Vivian Westwood. We've seen this dress often. I feel this silhouette of it. The silhouette of it, the gown, the short version. It's very popular. It's gorgeous. It's a classic. It is. And yeah, they just got married with a little smoke and that's it.
Fran Mariano
So they handed out trays of cigarettes to their guests.
Ria Ciuffo
Of course, they did this on theme for them. Yeah. They tied the knot in a ceremony at Hackney Town hall in London on Saturday. They kept their nuptials low key, saying I do in front of a small group of loved ones, including Charlie's parents and Daniel's bandmates. Off we see all the pictures. For the intimate ceremony, Daniel wore a simple suit and Charlie wore a silky off the shoulder midi dress and classic tool veil. Her sparkler on full display ring. She was also spotted wearing a pair of chunky black sunglasses at one point after exiting the venue, of course. And yeah, they've been. You know, they got engaged at the end of November in 2023, and this was the big. This was the big day. I love. I do love seeing the pictures of her with the. In the wedding dress with the sunglasses on. I'm like just. It's just very Charlie xcx it so is. It so is happy for them. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So now they're good for them. Congrats.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep. Yep. Exactly. There's not. Yeah, the pictures are beautiful. It really does seem like they had a. Did you know that party? Yes.
Fran Mariano
I had no idea she was even dating someone.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Because Matty Healy's engaged to Gabrielle. Right. So then you would see Gabrielle and Charlie XX together and they're like, you know, the fiances of the 1975.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
So he must have been there. Matty Healy.
Ria Ciuffo
He was. I believe so.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. His bandmates.
Ria Ciuffo
His bandmates were there. And it did say parentheses. Maddie. Matt Healy.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, they were. I think they made it clear that he was there. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, yes, that would. That would make sense.
Julie Bowen
So, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Congratulations to them.
Ria Ciuffo
Very exciting. Yes.
Julie Bowen
Very cool. All right, that wraps up the topics. They don't make it easy to buy concert tickets these days. All right, let's get into the weekly Watch report where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly Watch Report on Monday. Weekly Watch Report on Monday, Weekly Watch report on Monday, Weekly Watch Report on Monday. I didn't watch much this week. Not gonna lie. I was on Long island all weekend for the most part, and I wasn't really watching tv, but I did watch the new first two episodes of the summer. I turned pretty. I am very much enjoying this new and final season. The first two episodes, they were dramatic and they were everything we were looking for.
Ria Ciuffo
Tough start.
Fran Mariano
I will admit to watching it.
Ria Ciuffo
You'll want you're watching it.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. I don't know if you remember this, but last year I went the whole season through weekly watch porn. Not saying I watched it and let you guys talk about it and didn't.
Ria Ciuffo
Watch the whole thing.
Fran Mariano
I said this eventually, I think openly, but I was just like, no, I was in the closet watching.
Julie Bowen
I'm not quite sure you ever admitted.
Fran Mariano
No, I did. I did. I definitely told you guys.
Ria Ciuffo
I think on air.
Fran Mariano
I think so. I think I was like, by the way, like after the season, like I watched the whole season.
Ria Ciuffo
I don't. Oh, I believe you. I believe you. I don't remember.
Julie Bowen
No, I. Yeah, I don't remember.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
But feels.
Ria Ciuffo
So you're in for season three.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, I'm open. It feels free to be out there in the open.
Julie Bowen
So did you watch the first two episodes?
Fran Mariano
I did, yeah.
Julie Bowen
Did you like Them.
Fran Mariano
Oh, yeah. I thought it was good. I think it's like, they're all cheating. It's. It's no spoilers, but.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I'll give you no spoilers. No, but it is spoiler.
Julie Bowen
I'll give an A. Minus.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
The first two episodes, I was locked in, and. And now I'm feeling what you were like last week. Like, give me all the episodes.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I. I. You know, especially when they just leave you like that. I'm like, oh, my God. And then we had two episodes. Now it's just gonna be one. I know.
Julie Bowen
We got fed two. Now it's gonna be one.
Ria Ciuffo
Truly. Like, this was. I'll do a reenactment of. Of me watching every time. This was every time Jeremiah was on the screen.
Julie Bowen
I know.
Ria Ciuffo
And this was every time Comrade was on the screen.
Julie Bowen
I know. Oh, my God. It's like, I will say I'm showing.
Ria Ciuffo
A lot of growth.
Julie Bowen
He. He really is. You look at Conrad, you're like, oh. And then you look at Jeremiah, you're like. When they were singing summer love together in the car, I was like, this is going on far too long. Jeremiah doesn't even know the words. Like, no, shut up. Shut this off.
Ria Ciuffo
And look, he. Jeremiah, he is adorable. I can't. He is adorable. But when he was like, it's. It's the. Oh, like, I want to go get my cap and gown. I can't graduate. I was like, what? Yeah.
Julie Bowen
I was like, who? I was like, why is he sulking?
Ria Ciuffo
And then he's like, he's mad at his dad for being mad at him that he has to pay for another tuition.
Julie Bowen
I know. And his dad was college. His dad was like, conrad would never let this happen. I was like, fuck, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
You're so right. Do I feel bad Jeremiah is living in Conrad's shadow? He does feel that way, yes. That is unfortunate.
Julie Bowen
It's just gonna happen.
Ria Ciuffo
It was a tough go there. A lot of kind of underlying comments from him, too, about how he feels about her and. And. And Belly, but he. I know there's a debate. Is it cheating? Is it not cheating? They were broken up kind of.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
But it's like it was less. Less the cheating for me. More coming back and then just not telling her for sure.
Julie Bowen
Not telling Belly and trying to act like he was a good guy.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
And he was trying to act like he was Mr. Good Guy.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. Exactly. And they go to school. They got the girls just there around all the time. Talk about.
Julie Bowen
My question is a risk. How did Belly and Conrad not sleep together.
Ria Ciuffo
That.
Julie Bowen
That night with the candy cane, you know, obviously, she was with Jeremiah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So, you know, Belly was being a good girlfriend, but the tension.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Julie Bowen
Is just crazy. When he drops the candy cane out of his mouth, I was like, oh, they're not gonna make out right now.
Ria Ciuffo
I had the floor. I went. I got goosebumps.
Julie Bowen
I know.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm like, conrad opened that door at Christmas day, and I'm yelling to the.
Julie Bowen
Screen, belly, wipe your mouth. You got chocolate all over your mouth.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. You know when she fell and he just appeared in that cute chunky sweater.
Julie Bowen
I know.
Ria Ciuffo
The chunky sweater.
Julie Bowen
Conrad just has this certain dedicate quoi.
Ria Ciuffo
He really does.
Julie Bowen
And Jeremiah doesn't, unfortunately.
Ria Ciuffo
He just has it. He just has it.
Julie Bowen
And it's just that. It's just the butterflies that you feel on screen when Belly and Conrad are in the same room and they're conversing.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Julie Bowen
It's like a will.
Ria Ciuffo
They won't even when he's just talk. Talking about her. When he was at the bar with his friend, and. And he was, like, talking about.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
His one. His one love, and she was like, your brother's girlfriend.
Julie Bowen
And. And of course, he asked a favor for when Stephen. You know what I mean? Like, of course. Of course he called into a favor. But, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Stephen and Taylor, I'm gonna really need them to figure it out.
Julie Bowen
I'm also gonna need them to figure out their acting as well.
Ria Ciuffo
Really.
Julie Bowen
Like, I'm gonna need them to hit some classes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I'm just gonna.
Julie Bowen
Because, my goodness gracious. This.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Sorry. It's uncalled for. But, like, Stephen, we talked about this.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Julie Bowen
Taylor's better since the first season.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Steven, come on. You're on season three of this show.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
They don't got an acting teacher for you.
Ria Ciuffo
These two are cheating on their significant others, and yet they can't be.
Julie Bowen
But then they don't want to be together when they can be together. I'm like, what's going on?
Ria Ciuffo
I know. And it is tough. I do feel for, like, the. If you are unfamiliar, like, if you're watching, you read the books, all these things too. It's like there is that time jump where if you are not paying attention, you're like, wait a second. What. What is. What's Stephen doing at a dance at a desk in a. In a financial firm? Like, what's going on? Like, it's like, you're like, oh, big jump. Connie's a doctor.
Julie Bowen
No.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Julie Bowen
I'M like, oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Literally. But, you know, but going to be.
Julie Bowen
That was me, though. I was like. I was like, look at him. Jeremiah can't even graduate and he's becoming a doctor.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, that's part of. That's his deep rooted insecure. That's, you know, Jeremiah's struggle.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
And he asked. He asked her to marry her. I said, you gotta be kidding me. For so many reasons.
Julie Bowen
Mm.
Ria Ciuffo
For so many reasons. It's inappropriate when you real, like, putting on a band aid for his actions.
Julie Bowen
For sure. And here's the thing. I try not to think about this while watching this show, but I'm like, she dogging both brothers.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
It's just like crazy, like. And I just try to not think about that while watching the show because it's supposed. It's. It's just.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
It is a book and it's TV and it's not real. And it's. That's supposed to be what you. What we watch in television and movies and books is supposed to be things that are, you know, what the hell? You know, it keeps you locked in.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Julie Bowen
But sometimes I'm really just like, yeah, what the helly, Belly? And then you're just like, damn. No, it's really just both. It's just two brothers.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
You know, causing a riff in the fam.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, I know.
Julie Bowen
But can't get enough.
Ria Ciuffo
Making holidays a little tense.
Julie Bowen
Very.
Ria Ciuffo
Making them all a little tense. But yeah.
Fran Mariano
Conrad can't even enjoy the beach.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Julie Bowen
Freaking cousins.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, I know. What's he gonna do?
Julie Bowen
What I do to have a. A beach house that I grew up in.
Ria Ciuffo
Let me tell you what I mean.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
And if that's like, I didn't. Stunning.
Julie Bowen
You know, I had nothing. Like, I did. Like, there was no place that we went to every summer.
Ria Ciuffo
And Belly's like, oh, I'll just go to cousins.
Fran Mariano
That's what I said.
Julie Bowen
Like, you want to escape, you're gonna go to cousin.
Fran Mariano
Watching it. I kind of forgot that it was kind of just a free, like, for all. For all of them. Where when she went to it by herself, I was like, can she just do that?
Julie Bowen
Both of you, Belly.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Cuz Conrad walks in like, oh, you're here, right? Like, in my house.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know this. And it's just an absolutely obviously stunning home. But my God, I'm gonna. I don't know how I'm gonna handle Conrad finding out that they're engaged when I watch it, I'm gonna be Devastated. I'm not gonna be able to handle watching that on my. On my screen, you know, she just.
Julie Bowen
Can'T possibly end up with Jeremiah.
Ria Ciuffo
I. It's just crazy to watch. You're watching your. It's a train wreck.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. But you can't look away. And I can't wait for the next episode.
Ria Ciuffo
He. He hooks up with that girl. He brings her back a bracelet from.
Julie Bowen
The beach, slime ball.
Ria Ciuffo
It's just bad move after bad move from him, you know?
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Well, he's lost.
Ria Ciuffo
But then it's also lost.
Julie Bowen
He's trying to fix his actions by getting married. I can't graduate. He's all over the place.
Ria Ciuffo
It's a band aid for a lot of things, obviously. But then it's like, you know, he stays in the. He's on the couch all time at the hospital. There he is. He is a great friend, but I just. I was always like, they're supposed to be best friends.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. And not that I care about the parents, like, really at all, but why was it then they're together.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Maybe that was supposed to be like a little bit of a parallel of, like, you know, she's the mom and the dad fell in love in college, and then they got divorced. But now maybe they're rekindling. You know, maybe there's like a. I.
Julie Bowen
Think these two are rekindling out of nowhere.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Right.
Julie Bowen
They threw that in.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. Because we heard that conference.
Julie Bowen
Right. We care more about the kids than the parents. But I was like, oh, that's happening.
Ria Ciuffo
They're like, we'll get. We'll get the parents a little frisky.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, why not? We'll throw that in. Yeah, It's. It's sort of giving in a less way, less dramatic way. Tell me lies. Because now they're in college.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Julie Bowen
But this is way.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. You're not doing the.
Julie Bowen
You know, the car accident people aren't.
Ria Ciuffo
No. But they're not doing the shit they're doing.
Julie Bowen
And Tell me lies.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, please, God, no. Belly can't be doing those things.
Julie Bowen
No. Belly's banging two brothers.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Julie Bowen
So, I mean, honestly.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, but not at the same time.
Julie Bowen
Not the same time. Like, hey, like, Lucy was, you know, same day.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Well, anyways.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm just. I can't wait for the app. Like, it's.
Julie Bowen
I know.
Fran Mariano
When does it come out? What day?
Ria Ciuffo
Wednesdays.
Julie Bowen
Wednesdays. Thursdays.
Ria Ciuffo
Is it Thursdays now?
Julie Bowen
Thursdays.
Ria Ciuffo
But it was. But it came out.
Julie Bowen
Maybe it's Wednesday.
Fran Mariano
How did Taylor Swift get in on the show at, like, the ground.
Ria Ciuffo
July 16 was when it first was the premiere. So is it Wednesdays? Because that's a one. That was a Wednesday.
Fran Mariano
July 16th.
Ria Ciuffo
July 16th was a Wednesday.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
So.
Julie Bowen
Okay, so it'll be out on Wednesdays.
Ria Ciuffo
How did. What.
Fran Mariano
Like. Like, do you think Taylor Swift, like, was an avid reader of the books and she was like, I want to be a part of this, like, because she's been a part of it since it started, right? Like, the show.
Ria Ciuffo
That's a good question. I don't know the answer to.
Fran Mariano
It turned out to be a great show for her to be a part of, but who knew?
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe either she knew or she was advised that it would be a good idea, you know, and it has been. Because. Because. And by the way, another great part of this show. The music. It is. The music is fantastic. I mean, one. First of all, Lacey just being Lacy.
Julie Bowen
The fact that they hit this music right at the right time.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
The. You're losing me. And she's like, you lost. I was like, wow.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
The lyrics, the script, it's all hitting at the same time.
Ria Ciuffo
The Olivia Rodrigo, the. All their current stuff. The Taylor Comrade. By the way, Comrade always gets the best songs, because then you hear. And G and I were laughing about it because we went to dinner and we were joking about the episodes, and Gia was like. I mean, Jeremiah got a Benson Boone song when he proposed, so that's all you need to know.
Julie Bowen
Dang. Dang.
Ria Ciuffo
That she did Benson like that. Well, we had a. It was kind of a running inside joke because we did have a joke when we were all in Italy that I'm like, Benson Boone's number one fan. And they just kept making fun of me.
Julie Bowen
You're just a supporter.
Ria Ciuffo
I just really like Benzo. Gia made fun of me because she was like, no friend. Like, dead friend. Dead ass. Made it like a fit check to a Benson Boone song. And I was like, yeah, I did. I like that song.
Julie Bowen
And you know what? That's fine.
Ria Ciuffo
I did. I like. Don't let anybody listen. Yeah, who cares?
Julie Bowen
On trend or whatever. You like what you like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Julie Bowen
You know, and if you like Benson, it's just trendy to hate Benson Boone for no reason. What did Benson Boone do for people to not like him?
Ria Ciuffo
I know. Let me tell you, the way Gia was like, like, Jeremiah. He's like, of course Jeremiah.
Julie Bowen
All Benson Boone did was enjoy flipping.
Fran Mariano
And Kelly had a really good line. One of our groups the other day where she's like, call me Benson Boone. The way I'M about to flip on this.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. That was so good, actually. I was like, that's so creative.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. But if you pay attention, I mean, Conrad really does get all the best music.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, he does. Well deserved.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So that's an A minus for me. And I think that's anything new I watch. I must be forgetting stuff. Stuff. But, yeah, I'm kind of drawing a blank.
Ria Ciuffo
I will give those first two episodes of the show. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go B plus solely from the fact that I do not like what is happening with Jeremiah. You know, Like, I know I'm gonna, like. I'm just. There's so much build up for the. For the season, and I feel like things are gonna get crazy that I don't. I don't want to start too high, really, because I know. I know I'm gonna, like. Yeah, I know it's gonna get better.
Julie Bowen
I thoroughly enjoyed my time, so I'm giving.
Ria Ciuffo
I did. Appropriate grade. I did too. I did too. But I think it's, you know, we're on the. On the upslope for sure.
Julie Bowen
The.
Ria Ciuffo
I did. I grade the last episode of We Were Liars.
Fran Mariano
I don't think you.
Ria Ciuffo
I forget if I had watched it last week. I don't think I did. I had. Remember I said I have one epis. And I'm like, preparing myself.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, you didn't.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I watched the last episode. Whoa. I understand why everyone told me to buckle up. That's really all I'll say about it. Because I. I know now it's been out for a while. I'm sure people. Zane and I talked about it a little last week, too. That's like we said. Noah revealed to us there are more books.
Julie Bowen
Yes. Three of them, to be exact. That's a good sweet spot.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. But I'll give the last episode. I mean, I'll give that last episode at a minus. It took me on a. On a wild ride where I was like, is this what it's. And then it's just. You just, you know, you get slapped in the face really with it, and you're like, whoa. It's. It's. It's deep. It is deep. I went to see Superman, saw that in theaters last week. Thoroughly enjoyed. Was a fan favorite. 100%. I'll give it a. I'll give it a B. It was good. Enjoyed it. I thought Nicholas hall was fantastic. I got. I love him. He plays a villain.
Julie Bowen
Really do have a thing for.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I've always had a thing for Nicholas Holt loved him since Warm Bodies.
Julie Bowen
You really got a strong thing.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I mean, Warm Bodies came out like 10 years over 10 years ago. And it was not watched by many, but it was watched in the Mariano household a lot. And he played a zombie at that movie and I loved him.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Fran Mariano
He dated Jennifer Lawrence at one point, right?
Ria Ciuffo
Nicholas Holt.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, yeah, I found that out recently.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, X Men. They were neck. The X Men movies together. And he's so good and everything. He's in. In my opinion and I, I love when he's not playing a villain, but he does play a villain very well. So I thought he was very good and. And Superman was great. I thought Richard Brosnan was great all around.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. I don't know his name, but the kind of like Serani guy that all the girls liked in the movie, he's really. He was.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah. The guy from.
Fran Mariano
What is he from?
Ria Ciuffo
He's in Righteous Gemstones.
Fran Mariano
Oh, I know him from something else too, because I don't watch that show.
Ria Ciuffo
I. That's how I recognize him first from Righteous Gemstones. He was great too.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
The new. I thought the other super. Like it was really. There's a lot of good moments, funny moments.
Fran Mariano
But what did you think about the cameo? I said it last time.
Ria Ciuffo
What was that random? I mean, I don't. I thought it would have been made like more sense if it was like him with an equally famous person as the, as the mom, you know?
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Like then maybe it would have made more sense. It was just like, just him. So then I was like, oh, that's kind of random.
Fran Mariano
And.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I guess me, I don't know. I just wanted to throw that in there. I. I'm not quite sure.
Fran Mariano
Licorice pizza. That's what I know from Skyler.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a really good. There. It was a good balance to me for like Superman because I think a lot of Superman dialogue like comes off kind of cheesy, but in a way, like it worked for this movie where there were those moments but it wasn't crazy where you like, he had some one liners that you were like, ah, you know, like going into action that it's just like very. But it's very Superman.
Fran Mariano
The dog looks like a very like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, I like the dog.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.

Ria Ciuffo
Love Island UK been watching. I'm a little behind on like UK time so I don't know, I'm probably more caught up up actually with what's on Hulu so I don't want to give too much away but it has been really good and I don't know what is going on with, with. They had a, I know you're watching it so I don't want to give too much away but they had an ex come in during casa, one of the guys exes. At first it was like oh, she doesn't care about him, whatever. But now it's like did she come in for him? You're like, she's making moves so you're like scratching your head what's going on? And then there's one. I, I, I unfortunately like my, my roller coaster ride with Tony has been like I was first I was like oh. And then I was like, oh, you know, I'm moving up. She's having some, some good moments, some iffy moments girl. I think like there's two different groups of girls in the villa but she's had this relationship going with, with Harrison that is, that is toxic. And I think there's been some big moment with them that I, that I haven't seen but I think I may have seen a spoiler on online. So I'm not sure what's, what's going on there. But it was like, you know, when you, you know you're watching someone on Love island and they're just like, they're saying it to the guy. They're like I, you're making me look so dumb. I know it and like I know how this is coming across and you feel it but they just they're still. They're still picking him, you know, like, you're still. You're still picking them.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Pull it away. He lose. He. He. He doesn't get you anymore, you know, but it has been a good season, so I'll give that a. I'll give it a B plus I. And I don't know exact. What exact number episodes I'm on to give, which is on. Like, I don't have those. I'll. I can give them for the graphic, but I don't know what exactly which ones they are. Bachelor Paradise. Bachelor in Paradise. Caught up on episode two and three were both last week. I loved seeing Andrew back. Love seeing the Goldens. Goldens were mixing it up. I thought it was fun, you know, is. They gave a. They gave a fun energy when they came in. Did you watch the third episode?
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Tuesdays, right? Yeah, yeah, Yeah. I think. I think Andrew and Alex could be a great pair. I know he didn't bring her on the date. Kind of a crazy move from Jeremy, too. When he called Susie in, the interview was like, come back.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, that was wild. I forgot I watched this. I. I gotta grade that too.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Because I thought that was. I thought that was kind of nuts for a couple reasons. Obviously, he gave his rose to Bailey, right. And then he went on a date with Susie. And then Bailey gets an opportunity to go on a date. He just went on a date the day before and he's like, Bailey, like, really made it clear she was all for me. Like, that's why I gave her my ro. I don't know. I did not like the energy he was putting out there. And then he's mad Bailey's going on the date. You just went on a date.
Julie Bowen
And then being like, wait, I want Susie back. It was.
Ria Ciuffo
It was like, oh, I should have just went with Susie. It's like, what? She's just going on one date and now all of a sudden you. You're. You're in your interview, calling up Susie. Susie's like, get me out, saying, turn around, come back. Oh, that was messy. I did not let. I thought that was a kind of a crazy move.
Julie Bowen
Crazy for sure. I was like, am I watching this correctly right now? Am I envisioning this? Like, yeah, really? What's happening?
Ria Ciuffo
I know. And I feel like with the whole.
Julie Bowen
The producer was like, why don't you try calling her? I'm like, is this allowed?
Ria Ciuffo
I know. They've just said, hey, they're really trying to mix it up, you know, I.
Julie Bowen
Didn'T Know, they had their phones.
Ria Ciuffo
I bet you it was a producer's phone.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
It was just like, Susie answers, and it's just Jeremy being like, come back.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I do wish that they handled, like, the Justin Suzy. I wish there was a way that Justin Susie could have been on there for longer. Like, that was a blip. One episode. We got Susie. I feel like she should have been on there for longer.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. You know, they messed up that rose ceremony. It should have been a little.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Julie Bowen
We need to see more of that.
Ria Ciuffo
Definitely. But I'm enjoy. I gotta give Bachelor Perry's a B. Solid B. I'm gonna go solid B. That's where I'm at with it right now. And I have. I know this is, like, really, like, talk about dragging out a show that I have that everyone's finished, and somehow I don't know how it ends. Paradise, your friends and neighbors.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Friends and neighbors. Joe and I have finished episode seven.
Fran Mariano
I feel like that show is, like, five years.
Ria Ciuffo
There's one episode left. What happens? I do not know. But it got. I was. I just left. He was. You know, he's getting arrested after the funeral. That. Whoa.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, that's when I. Yeah, that was a good part.
Ria Ciuffo
The end of episode six was really good. And I was like, oh, shit. We were locked in. But you know when. You know, there's a certain number of episodes left. And I wanted to stop after episode six because I was like, if we watch episode seven, then there's only one left after that, and I'm gonna want to finish. We watch episode seven. So now I'm dying to watch the last. Yeah, the last one. I'll give that an A minus. That's really good. Really good.
Julie Bowen
Then.
Ria Ciuffo
Olivia Munn has been fantastic. Late to the game. Everybody else has finished it. And that's. I believe.
Fran Mariano
Did you watch Stick?
Ria Ciuffo
Is there. No, I'm behind on stick.
Fran Mariano
Okay.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm behind on stick. We're.
Guest
Joe.
Ria Ciuffo
Joe was like, we're in the middle of, like, six different shows. We need. Oh, Squid Game. He was like, we need to finish. Because we're, like, in the middle of. Because I was like, oh, do we. What? What do you want to watch? Because I wanted to. Oh, my God, I forgot. I watched. Started quarterback, too. I wanted to watch quarterback with Joe. And he was like, I'm not watching that with you. Because we have four other shows that we're in the middle of that we need to finish.
Fran Mariano
I feel like quarterback's one of the. Like, oh, exactly.
Ria Ciuffo
That's why I was like, just throw it on. Squid Game season three. I. We've watched the first three episodes. I'll give it a B minus. It is. It is fairly. I mean, yeah. There's like a baby in the mix.
Fran Mariano
It's great.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, there's just some things that you're like, what is.
Fran Mariano
Have you like the acting from the. The rich white, like Americans in the. Who watch the games. Like, it's so bad.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, it's, it's. It's dubbed.
Fran Mariano
Is it dubbed?
Ria Ciuffo
Like, I think English is dubbed because we're watching the.
Fran Mariano
But wouldn't they be speaking.
Ria Ciuffo
We're watching the Korean version. It still seems dubbed.
Fran Mariano
It seems. Okay, that would make a lot more sense.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I thought they were just so bad. Like, it seems like.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I. It does, but I think, I think it's. I think it's dubbed over.
Fran Mariano
Okay. That would make a lot of sense.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I thought their lips were moving with. I don't know.
Ria Ciuffo
No, they are, but they're like a little. It's a little delayed. Like there was. It was kind of weird.
Guest
Watch.
Fran Mariano
Really weird.
Ria Ciuffo
It was not as in sync as when you're watching all the other characters and they're. They're, you know.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Speaking Korean.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. I still don't understand that but. Because, like, if it's Korean, everything else is Korean and they. Why wouldn't they just hire actual people who speak English then? I don't know.
Ria Ciuffo
That's. I. I don't have the answer for you. But I didn't know. I noticed that as well. My immediate thought was it was. It was dubbed over or something. It was like, yeah, yeah, it was. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
We're sitting here like, I got so much to catch up on.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Julie Bowen
My head is spinning.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I want. And the first three episodes of Quarterback, I'll give it B as well. It's like, I love tossing that on. I love Kirk Cousins. He's just. He's just a doll.
Julie Bowen
Like a stand up guy.
Ria Ciuffo
He really is. He really is. And you know, he was so lovely when I did that ping pong thing at the super bowl and I was just like, ugh, so great. I do love watching Joe. I love watching Joe Burrow. Who doesn't love watching Joe Burrow?
Julie Bowen
I here's.
Ria Ciuffo
He's not giving as much personality as I thought he would.
Julie Bowen
It actually is quite doing the opposite for me watching Joe Burrow. I'm like, like no personality. Can't even do his dishes or laundry. Like, I'm just like, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, I love seeing.
Fran Mariano
I agree. Joe Burrow. I turned it off because I. I put it on and I turned it off because I was like, I'm really.
Julie Bowen
I'm like, how, Like Joe Burrow? Like, obviously, everyone loves Joe. All girls love Joe Burrow. And then you're watching this and you're like, like, yeah, what? Like, that's how I felt watching it.
Ria Ciuffo
I was like, I don't. There was certainly a couple moments in his, like, interviews. That's just him that I was like, oh, that was a little cringy.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. He just, like, gives nothing, you know?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. No, I. Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Which is unfortunate.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, I also do love watching Jared Goff, but mostly because I love watching Kristen.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. And I think it's just more like when you watch the. That, like, when it goes from Jared Goff to Joe Burrow, and you're just.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, there's just more for it to just be the three of them. And there's just other. Like, this is not a knock at Joe Burrow. Obviously, he's thriving in all senses. But Kirk's things, Jer. It's getting married. It's. Kirk has his family. It's like, there's other things outside of football. And Joe's story is very, like, football driven. And then, of course, like, fashion driven and the other things that he's interested in. But it's not as, like, get to know me personal level. I feel like than maybe the other two.
Julie Bowen
Fox's blog made it. No, the headline and Robbie's name because of. I don't know if you got to that part where Joe bought the Batmobile.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I haven't gotten there.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. And they only watched the first three acts. Robbie's singing it.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah. That's cool. I haven't watched. I haven't watched that much, but that's.
Julie Bowen
I guess I watch quarterback, too.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
I'm literally talking about what I watched from it this week.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
I'll give that a B. Yeah. Solid.
Ria Ciuffo
That's all I watch.
Julie Bowen
I'm just like, yeah, I won't continue to rag on Joe Burrow.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
But I'm glad that you felt the same way watching it, Noah.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. I don't know. To me, it just seems like he's kind of trying to be a cool guy.
Julie Bowen
I don't even know if it's that or if he's just awkward and like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
I forget exactly what the conversation was with the laundry and the dishes, but I. That severely turned me off. Like, it was like, obviously he has the money that somebody could do it for him now. But it was like, even besides that, he was like, he can't do it. Like, I'm just like, why? I was like.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, summer, I turned pretty. I'll give it a baby. To start off. Like, yeah, I think I'm on Conrad's side now, which I haven't been, by the way. I. We haven't had this conversation. I'm not team anyone.
Ria Ciuffo
Hidden team Jeremy Studio. This whole time you call him Jer too.
Fran Mariano
But let me just say I just didn't get the hate for Jeremiah in the first two seasons. And I thought. I thought that last season, I can't really remember that much of what happened, but I remember being like, Conrad is so fucking annoying.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yes. He had a tough.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, tough go for sure. So I think season two, I was like, I've had enough of this Conrad guy. Why is everyone obsessed with this guy? But I'm. It's very. Yeah, he's got.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, he was. Well, you already got five Very, very deep level of emotional unavailability from Conrad in those earlier seasons. You know, feeling a lot of.
Fran Mariano
Not great though, that he got fired. Like on the street.
Julie Bowen
You made one mistake. No.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
That. That's all it feels.
Julie Bowen
No, you can't make him a damn big one mistake in that field. Yeah, for sure.
Fran Mariano
Stick. I watched the episode seven to nine. Really good. Like, I actually enjoy the show a lot.
Ria Ciuffo
It's a good show. It's cute.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. So I'll give it a B plus. Like, I feel like it'll probably just be a solid B plus the whole show, but one episode left and it's cool. They get like a bunch of Dan Rapaport's in it. Like, they get like a bunch of like real golf people in the show, like Jim Nance and everyone. So I watched the movie the Drop the other day. The one with Megan Fay? Yes, because it was on Peacock or something. Like, so I watched. Was exactly what I expected. Kind of like, kind of entertaining. Ridiculous. Not the greatest movie I've ever seen. I'll give it a C plus.
Julie Bowen
I feel like they did good marketing for it though.
Fran Mariano
It did, yeah. And the C, it's like a C plus but like a fun C plus. So I wouldn't say don't watch it.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
And then I watched the second episode of beyond the Villa with Love Island. Beyond the Village.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep, yep, yep. Episode two.
Fran Mariano
Yet I would say this one is even worse. Like, in my mind, it's so bad. Like, it's just. I just feel like there's nothing happening, and they're just, like, really trying to milk anything they can get for drama, and it's just so dumb. In my mind.
Ria Ciuffo
I think, actually, I.
Julie Bowen
Did put this on, and I went and started cleaning my room in the middle of it.
Fran Mariano
Aaron's trying to, like, second episode.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Now that I recall, I was like, I'm gonna get up and clean.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I just can't even, like, fully tell you what happened. Like, Connor's trying to, like, get Aaron to talk to girls. Like, and then Kendall, like, went. I don't know, the way they filmed this. Like, Kendall went on that date. Remember the first episode? He met that girl at, like, the party. Do you remember that?
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Fran Mariano
They, like, went on a date, so they showed the date.
Julie Bowen
Oh, I didn't see any of this.
Fran Mariano
But it's just, like, really quick, and it's just so, like, seems so forced in, like, for the camera, where I'm like, also, that girl, like, do we think that she actually likes Kendall or she just wants to be on camera? Like, I don't know, but I don't know. I think it's all. It's just. It's really just Kayla and Liv again, like, the whole Kayla and Liv thing. And, yeah, I'll give it a C minus next week. It'll probably be in the Ds. It's just gonna keep going down, so we'll see if we can get to an F by the end of the season. No, I mean, it could get good.
Guest
I don't know.
Fran Mariano
Right now, it's just like, nothing's happening.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right, right, right.
Fran Mariano
And it does feel very produced. I don't know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it is. It. It may end up just being that they figure out that maybe it was a little bit too much of a force.
Fran Mariano
It feels like, you know, maybe too.
Julie Bowen
Much time in between. I like to see the couples thriving, though. Like.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I know. That's what I'm saying. It's fun. Yeah, it is fun to see the couples that are still together. Like, see what they're doing. But when they are making a reality show, I'm sure production wanted there to be, like, more.
Fran Mariano
I feel like it's stirring, and then.
Ria Ciuffo
There isn't really that much with the couples, you know?
Fran Mariano
But just the whole show, I feel like I get the sense that, like, they're only hanging out with each other because they need to film this show. And they keep saying, like, oh, like, how have you been? Like, as if they haven't even talked to each other. So they're not really like a lot of them. I mean, some of them definitely are good friends.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. But it's broken up into groups. They're not all a big group.
Fran Mariano
Not friends at all. And don't even speak. Speak at all unless it's like on camera. So it just doesn't feel like authentic. I don't know. That's it.
Ria Ciuffo
I appreciate your honesty.
Fran Mariano
That's all I got.
Julie Bowen
That's all you watch?
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
All right.
Julie Bowen
That's everything we watched this week.
Ria Ciuffo

Julie Bowen
All right, everyone, we are here with a very special guest. We are joined by Julie Bowen here to talk about her reprising her role in Happy Gilmore 2. We are super, super excited. Comes out July 25th on Netflix. Thank you for joining us.
Guest
Thank you. You guys are great. Thank you.
Ria Ciuffo
We are so excited to have you here. This is, this is a big one. You've been on our list for a while as guests that we want on on our show.
Guest
On your list?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Guest
Is that like Noah's list?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, Noah I know. Has his own separate list for sure.
Guest
No, I am on on your list.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, I, I should have put you on my list because that would have been. That would have been a great one to check off right now.
Guest
I don't know what I just my name, nothing else. Just Julie Bowen.
Ria Ciuffo
Could be like having an award winning actress on chicks in the office. That off?
Julie Bowen
We could actually change the list and just put that on.
Fran Mariano
Before this comes out, I'll just add a 31. Julie Bowen.
Guest
I just want to give you a head start. I feel like I want to set you up to succeed, and it's not looking good for you over there.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, no, not a lot of people believe in me, and I kind of like it that way.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, you have three boys, right?
Guest
I do. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
So I feel like right away I, you know, the boys need the help.
Guest
Sometimes boys need so much help, it's ridiculous. I have three teenagers now. One just turned 18, and now he's just like, rules do not apply. I'm like, you still live in my house and ask me for. For. For, like, lunch money.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
Woody. He's like, I'm 18. I could do whatever I want. I'm like, oh, that's hilarious.
Julie Bowen
Unfortunately, he's not a teenager, but he stays.
Guest
Do you text your mom for lunch money?
Fran Mariano
No.
Guest
No Apple cash requests?
Fran Mariano
No, but I text my mom for things that probably I shouldn't.
Guest
Laundry.
Fran Mariano
No.
Ria Ciuffo
The laundry argument we've had many times.
Fran Mariano
No, I've recently.
Ria Ciuffo
He's just recently learned to fold.
Fran Mariano
Fold?
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Guest
Oh, folding is my porn.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
I watch folding videos.
Fran Mariano
I got a folding machine. Like the fold.
Guest
The flapper thing. Flap, flopper.
Julie Bowen
Noah would get you off then because he really knows how to fold.
Guest
Apparently we are a match made in heaven. We just learned how to fold. But it's satisfying.
Fran Mariano
It is.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it is. He was very excited to show us when he for the first time.
Guest
But it's like a guy that discovers that, like, anything about nutrition and they need to tell you all about it, and you're like, y. We know. Yeah, yeah, we know how to fold and we know that carbs make you puffy.
Julie Bowen
Well, did you see the new quarterback with Joe Burrow? Do you know who Joe Burrow is the quarterback of?
Guest
You're putting me Bengal.
Julie Bowen
Listen, I'm not like, I. Trust me, I don't know. Fran's preferred.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Julie Bowen
But he was just on the show that they do quarterback series where they follow quarterbacks around. He was talking about how he doesn't do his own laundry and, like, can't make food and that his mom does it for him. Like, he's fully a quarterback of a Football team.
Guest
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Multimillionaire. Why he won't. Doesn't have to learn now.
Guest
Well, there are compromises. I feel like that you think, oh, I'm never doing that. No, I'm gonna make. But then you're in this sort of weirdly abusive relationship with your teenage sons where you're like, text me back. I made your favorite food. Are you coming home?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And you're like, it's okay. It's okay. I folded all your socks and underwear into neat little packages and color coded them. They're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like an abusive old school relationship. And you're like, I will never do your laundry again. Then you're like, I did your laundry. You love me. I made your favorite food.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. Looking for the approval.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Are you coming home for dinner?
Guest
I know. And if you read them, you would think, girl, get out of this relationship. He is not the one for you. He is not showing up.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
Yeah. That's my life.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, my God, it's so funny. Well, we're so excited that you are back For Happy Gilmore 2. 2. How did you find out that this sequel was being made?
Guest
Well, I didn't. I mean, there were all these rumors flying around, and I guess Christopher McDonald said something on the radio or something that I guess he and Adam had been talking, and he said, yeah, there's going to be a sequel that just blew up on the Internet. And my kids. What? My son called me from school, actually. He's like, bruh, they're doing a sequel and you're not in it. First of all, what do you.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, how do you know?
Guest
How do you know? You know nothing.
Julie Bowen
He goes, that toxic relationship.
Guest
Yeah, toxic, bruh. He goes, but I hear Sydney Sweeney's in it. And I said, okay, that's probably the new love interest. I said, sure. Okay. I have no idea. And I'm seeing online all these people were, like, doing the lingerie and two pictures of beer scene. And they were like, sort of pitching for them influencers and whatnot to be the new Virginia event. I was like, you guys look great.
Ria Ciuffo
Go for it.
Guest
And Adam finally calls me a few months later and was like, we're doing it. And I was like, okay. And it's fine. If I'm like, yeah, congrats. I said, that's great for you. That's great. Like, the Internet's very excited. He was like, you're an idiot. So, no, I got to. He wanted me back because he's a man. He loves his family so much. So I get to sort of represent that for him is his actual wife and kids and all the things that really matter to him. He sort of rolled into me.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Bowen
And I think people are very, very excited for you to return. Even though you said, you know, there's rumors about this person and that person. But I think most importantly, you returning is what people are excited about.
Ria Ciuffo
They want to stay. Stick to the originals.
Guest
There are some surprises. Yeah, there's a lot of surprises, and I can't talk about any of them. And I literally don't even know which of the. Of the cameo guest star people I can talk about because I heard a list yesterday. I did press all day and I'm like, nobody's mentioned Shimada.
Ria Ciuffo
Boop bop.
Guest
Who like, has sold out Madison Square Garden four times. No one's even said that yet. Is he. There's so many surprises.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. Because we really just go off. The trailer is just non stop. When you watch a trailer, it's like, oh, my God, there's that person. Plus there's all the professional golfers that are in it. We know Travis Kelce has talked a ton about being in it. So it's like you have all these people that you're like, Travis, don't you.
Guest
Have anything else to do? But he was very, very. Everybody was so happy to have him. Everybody loves to come and play with Adam because he's nice. He's super nice. And you always feel, like, relaxed. I mean, the man wears baggy shorts every day. How can you not feel relaxed? I love it.
Julie Bowen
How do you feel about that? Especially at the premiere.
Guest
Style icon.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
I knew I wore a dress today because I'm not too impressed with him, but I did press them for the past two days. So I wore shorts. They were cuter.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I can't imagine you were in baggy basketball shorts at home all the time.
Guest
I dragged. I like, my. My wardrobe's fairly interchangeable with my. My teenage boys.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Guest
And I. And Adam knows that. But when we do press, he's like, why you all dressed up? You look nice. No, you look nice. But he definitely is not used to seeing me in a dress.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Guest
I'm not used to seeing me in a dress.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, well, you look beautiful.
Julie Bowen
It's a beautiful dress.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Guest
It goes back at midnight.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
It's all rental. You pay somebody, they give you clothing.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Guest
People do your makeup and hair. Do you guys do your hair and your makeup?
Julie Bowen
We do mostly, yes.
Guest
I am not capable. Yeah, I am not capable.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, there you Go.
Guest
My cousins call me derelict because of the way I dress. Like, ripped clothing, bad hair. Like, have you showered? I'm like, you know, I'm gonna get to it.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Guest
I'm on my second workout. No shower. It's working out great.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, look, then, that's why you come and you do press, and you're a walking billboard for all the people that help put together. You know, the look.
Guest
Oh, trust me. They get mad props.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. Exactly.
Julie Bowen
Do you ever get nervous to rent the dresses and the clothes? Like, no.
Guest
I have a person who dressed me when. For something. Somebody introduced me to her. I was doing a magazine thing when I was pregnant, and she actually put clothes on my giant pregnant body. And I was like, you're my person. We are together for life. And she. I pay her, and she puts clothes on me, and it's the greatest relationship I've ever had. And then she takes the clothes away, and I never have to go shopping.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
That's beautiful.
Guest
I never have to. I'm so happy. So my actual closet is a sad forest of baggy cherise.
Julie Bowen
Adam Sandler's closet.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
I mean, they're pretty close. Pretty close, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
When you heard Happy Gilmore 2 is being made, like, what? Did the memories come rushing back to you of making the first one? What was that like then, making that movie? And did you, like, know what kind of crazy cultural phenomenon the first one would be?
Guest
Oh, I had absolutely no idea. He'd only done Billy Madison, and he was on Saturday Night Live, obviously, so people knew him, and he was popular, but he wasn't a movie star yet. I mean, he was, like, on the verge of being. He was like, okay, I think something's happening here. And we were in Canada, and comparatively, it was a small budget, and I hated my hair, and I was like, oh, well, no one's gonna see it. You know, I'm having a blast doing. It's my first movie. I'm having so much fun. If nobody sees it, doesn't matter, because this is the greatest summer of my life. We were up there for three months. It was a plus. It was all boys. I'm very. I don't know what. It used to be called a tomboy. I don't know what it is anymore. I don't want to offend anybody, but, like, I like hanging out with dudes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
So I was like, this is awesome. I had the best time. And then it came out, and I was like, oh, I see. This is gonna be the rest of my life. It's gonna Be like, on my tombstone. And there's just gonna be my hair. Just a line drawing up my hair.
Ria Ciuffo
You're like, great. I'll never. I'll live with this hairstyle for the rest of my. No matter how many.
Julie Bowen
Isn't it funny when people tell you, like, you're never gonna remember, like, that you didn't like about yourself, and you're like, no, the one thing I remember.
Guest
What are you talking about?
Julie Bowen
The one thing I remember is that I hated my hair.
Guest
Well, I didn't. I was. It was like. It wasn't me, that hair. But then again, nor was Virginia Vanit. She was wearing suits. And so I was like, okay, it's part of a character. I'm fine. I'm fine. And I don't wanna sound ungrateful at all. Cause it was my first movie and the beginning of, like, the best time in my life I had. Since then, I've been working fairly steadily. And I'm so happy. So I don't want to throw too much shade on it. But at the same time, you go, what the hell?
Julie Bowen
Really?
Guest
That hairstyle did not age well for anyone. Princess Di didn't. You know?
Julie Bowen
Well, they say everyone looks younger now than they did with that haircut.
Guest
That hair was aging. That hair was very aging. And Diana, it means a tragedy that she died when she did. But also, and I'm very serious, it was horrible what happened. She was just getting the hair figured out. And we felt like we were rounding a corner, and I really wanted to see where she was going.
Ria Ciuffo
We were so close.
Julie Bowen
So close to a bouncy blowout.
Guest
It stopped with the spray and the feathers.
Ria Ciuffo
And you're like.
Guest
It was a representation of how she was coming into her own. And I was like, I am here for. For all of this. Let's go. And everyone's talking about her style and her hair now and all this. And I'm like, oh, guys, she was just hitting her stride.
Ria Ciuffo
That is true.
Julie Bowen
Right there.
Ria Ciuffo
We really.
Guest
I know.
Ria Ciuffo
I will say, like, we walked by it because it's a trendy right now to cut your hair. Not, like, short, short, short. Like, you know, but they're like this, like, the summer lob people are calling it. And, you know, my husband the other day was like, would you cut your hair that short? I was like, oh, maybe. And then he was like, no, like. Like, short, short. Like pixie short. I was like, what? No.
Guest
Is he. Is he trying to tell you something?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Guest
Is he into it?
Julie Bowen
Yeah, it seems like he might be into it.
Ria Ciuffo
I Know. I was like, no. He's like, I think you could pull it off. I was like, no, I would not do that to myself.
Guest
You could.
Julie Bowen
You could pull it off.
Guest
You could.
Ria Ciuffo
But people can pull off hairstyles. It doesn't mean they should do it with ni.
Guest
You can. You can. Like, that's.
Julie Bowen
You test it out. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
They could probably mock it up for me, and then I could be like, see? No.
Guest
I always say when I was younger, I was like, there's two hairstyles. I want to dye my hair black, and I want, like, a Bettie Page. Like, and then. And I wanted a short bob. And one time for some movie, they had to make a mold of my head, and I still have it. The shape of my head without hair, it's horrible. There's, like, planes. It looks like I was dropped on my head as a child. And I was like, oh, you know what? We're gonna kill. Keep whatever dysregulated hair is happening up here.
Ria Ciuffo
That's why I said for guys when they bald, they're like, it's a hit or miss. So they have a good head or not, right?
Julie Bowen
You don't know.
Guest
You don't know. You don't know when it's going to be a little bit of a penis or a flat.
Ria Ciuffo
Do I have the right head or there's a ridge?
Guest
Yes. You don't. You don't know.
Julie Bowen
But you said you've wanted to dye your hair black.
Guest
I did. When I was younger. When I was younger, I thought that was cool. I mean, please. I would grow up, like, the 90s and Goth and all that, and I was never goth, but I was like, I like that. I like that look. And I want to try it. No. Now? No way.
Ria Ciuffo
Where did. Where did the acting bug come for you? Because, you know, I feel like you growing up in Maryland, not around, like, the Hollywood fancy lifestyle, all those things.
Guest
My mom and dad were like, go outside and play.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And do not come back inside until you hear. My mother in suburban Baltimore bought one of those dinner triangles like you see in, like, western movies. And it was loud as hell, and she would ring it when it was time to come home and you could hear it all over the neighborhood. We would go. That's when we would go home. Our neighbors had a horse. We would just go and make up stories all day and then put on plays. That's what we would do with the whole neighborhood. There was nothing else else to do because we were like, Mom's like, you're not watching tv. We're only allowed to watch specials, which you guys don't even know what they are. You're too young. They had used once upon a time. Children gather around. There were three networks. And then every now and again they'd have like a special. And the special would be like a movie. It'd be like Gone with the Wind or something. And we're only allowed to watch specials. So we put on our own entertainment. Because that's what you do. So that's. And that's so. To me, it was like, that's what everybody does, right? And then I realized, no, they don't. Other kids are like, home watching fun stuff. And we're like out in a field putting on a play, pretending we're fairies. So it was. That was just normal to me.
Julie Bowen
So then how do you end up with, like a manager, an agent, and going on those auditions?
Guest
Oh, that's hilarious. Because there she is. Kay Lieberman. Well, that's a fun story.
Ria Ciuffo
I.
Guest
In college, I didn't major in acting, but this little indie film came to town and I auditioned for it and I got it. And at the time, it was a big deal to have film on yourself. In the 90s, nobody had a cell phone, so it was. I actually had film on myself from this. And I was moved to New York and I was living with my dad's roommate from college. It sounds weird, ladies. It wasn't weird, and it wasn't weird. I love you, Andrew.
Ria Ciuffo
Repeat that sentence.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, yeah.
Guest
Andrew Smith took me in. I was supposed to be with some boyfriend and he dumped me. And the only other person I knew in New York was my dad's roommate from college, so. And he was like, come over here. And we lived together for a while.
Julie Bowen
You and your dad shared a roommate?
Guest
He loved to make it seem like there was something going on. There was nothing going on, but it was so great. And he had an ex girlfriend who was an agent, Kay Lieberman. And who's here in this room right now. And we went out to dinner one night and I gave her the tape. Cause I actually had film on myself. And that's how that all started. So, yeah, and I paid. Apparently, they remind me I paid for dinner. And they were like, what the.
Ria Ciuffo
Who does that?
Guest
And I was like, my dad always told me, never let anybody buy you a meal. They think they own you. And I'm still a little squirrely when someone buys me a meal. I'm like, keeping the tally in my head. I'm like, does he own me?
Ria Ciuffo
Right? What do I Have to give back now.
Guest
Right? I don't understand because a lot of my friends now who are younger are like, they're kind of. There's more of an old school thing about dating now. Like, let him come to you. He has to pay kind of things. And I'm like, but then he owns you. Yeah, like, no, he doesn't. Why do you think this? I was like, I don't know, dad. You're in my head.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep, yep, yep.
Julie Bowen
That's amazing, though, that you guys have kept the working relationship all this time.
Guest
You have to trust somebody.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
Because Los Angeles, this whole industry is just complete bs. I mean, it's great when it, when you get to do something like Happy Gilmore, when you're. When I get to do Modern Family, but there is so much ancillary crap. And you have to trust somebody. And, you know, she could be robbing me blind and I have no idea. I don't care because I made that choice. You make the choice, like, this is the person I'm gonna trust.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep, exactly. You mentioned Modern Family, one of the absolute bests ever. Those, you know, sitcoms. It's one of those ones, comfort shows for so many people. And you watch it on tv and now, you know, people watch it and stream it and they binge it and they relive it and they get to go through that journey again. What was the big moment for you when you found out, like, oh, this is a. This show is gonna have longevity.
Guest
Pretty much right away. But I also had just given birth to twins, so because I was pregnant on the pilot and like eight and a half months pregnant on the pilot with twins or eight months pregnant, I don't know. I was huge. And I gave birth and then I had eight weeks off. And then we went, we started shooting the series and everybody was. It was clear right away that this was gonna be a big hit, which was fantastic. And I could not really enjoy that because when you go home, it was going home to three. I had a two year old and two newborns, and it was really exhausting. And I remember Jesse going to, like, Monaco just to get an award because he's like, it's a freebie.
Ria Ciuffo
It's fun.
Guest
You should do it. I'm like, what are you talking about? I mean, I remember going to some event with a breast pump, you know, because I was. I was still nursing and it broke and my boobs were crawling out of the dress and everyone's like, you look great. And I'm like, I feel awful. I'm so Tired.
Ria Ciuffo
That is fair. That is. That's a tough, tough, immediate balance. So when. When do you think you got to.
Guest
Enjoy being every day at work? I loved it. I didn't really need the other stuff because they'd be like, we're gonna go here, and you can go to you. I mean, people were traveling the world to sell the show, ostensibly because everybody wanted a visit from Ty Burrell or, you know, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara, please. And I. I made my peace with the fact that I got to be with those people all day, every day, you know, Monday through Friday. It was all the. All the fun I could have asked for. So I didn't. So, yes, I appreciated every single day at work. I loved it. It was a blast. Imagine.
Julie Bowen
Right? And for so long, too. Right.2011 to 2020. Right. And are you missing it at all? Oh, my God. So used to it. Every day.
Guest
I was. Yeah. Well, we went right into. We wrapped February 2020, and three weeks later, we're shut down. And my therapist. I'm in therapy, guys. Don't be shocked. She's always like, you lost everything at the same time. I was fairly recently divorced, and I hadn't really processed that. And then there's the shutdown, and then modern family stops. And I was like, I feel weird. I don't know what I feel. I don't know how to feel. I didn't know what to do without all that structure around me.
Ria Ciuffo
Me.
Guest
But I figured it out.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. What do you think was the one thing that helped you through that?
Guest
Oh, you know, the pandemic was awful. Shutdown was awful. But I got my kids all day, every day, because they were doing homeschool, and it's like, I got them at the sweetest point. There wasn't. They weren't driving, and it wasn't all about, like, parties and girls yet became that immediately after. And it was like, I got these extra years in a way, and it was. That was great. And I was like, oh, I really need to double down and invest in these people because, you know, or you pick them up from school, you get them to soccer practice, you drop them under. And this was like, we were just together, and it was. That was great.
Ria Ciuffo

Julie Bowen
With Happy Gilmore 2 and other shows, they're always reprising bringing things back. Modern Family, they say, we're gonna bring everybody back five, ten years from now. Are you like, yes, let's do it. Or do you think, no, we need to leave that show how it was.
Guest
Oh, I would show up tomorrow if they were like, we're gonna do a, you know, anything, A stage version with singing, which I cannot do. I cannot, cannot sing or dance. I'd be like, I will be Claire in a coma in the middle of it. Those are the nicest, smartest, most fun people. They're delightful and yeah, I would do anything.
Ria Ciuffo
What's the Modern Family group chat like? Chaotic.
Guest
It's very weird and intermittent, but it'll suddenly blow up with some crazy. It's usually Ed o'. Neill. Interesting. It's funny because he's the worst texter, but the funniest because he doesn't under. He's really bad at text. Yes. And so sometimes it'll be like, like there'll be a text out of the blue. No one's talked a couple months and it'll say thank you. And you're like, what?
Julie Bowen
Yeah.
Guest
And then it just starts and you've got all these brilliant people chiming in. Thank you.
Ria Ciuffo
For what?
Guest
What are you talking about? And then Ed won't come back on again. I mean, until, you know, the next day. But you have days and days of texts of people just ragging on each other and making fun of each other. And it's delightful and there's a lot of talk about meat.
Ria Ciuffo
Interesting.
Guest
There's a lot sometimes. Yep. Eric just throws up, like marinating this.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right. And you're like, he's a Kansas City guy. You know, he just wants us to know that he's. That barbecue.
Julie Bowen
That's a dream group chat to be a part of. We were just talking last week about what's what, sitcom parents. You would want to be your own parents. And we posted it on our Instagram. So many. Claire and Phil.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
So many.
Guest
Oh, I'm so flattered. I wish my kids felt that way. They don't watch what I do, though.
Julie Bowen
Really?
Ria Ciuffo
No Modern Family for them. No, no.
Julie Bowen
I bet their friends get there.
Guest
Their friends do. But, you know, like in la, it's like the thing. People always worry about kids in la. They worry that they're gonna be really spoiled or awful because they're growing up with other, you know, famous people. Whatever. All these kids don't want to have anything to do with their parents ever.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And they just are like, ugh, gross. So it's. They. They negate their parents immediately. Like, you're. Unless it's a sports star. Sometimes it's like, if your dad's LeBron, you're gonna be like, that's my dad.
Julie Bowen
Right, right. But like, are there, like, their friends, like, your mom's so hot. Like, do you think they do that?
Guest
I heard that one time because there was one kid just come to our house all the time and he left pair of swim trunks or something and his name was in. I said, we gotta get these back to, you know, Bob.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And. And one of my sons, like, no throwing him out. I said, what? He goes, that kid's an asshole. And I said, what? He goes, wouldn't tell me what happened. I said, wait, did something happen? Something happened. Finally, weeks later, I find out he said I was hot.
Ria Ciuffo
There you go.
Guest
And they were like, he's never allowed.
Ria Ciuffo
In this house again.
Guest
Get out.
Julie Bowen
They're not gonna find out that you touched him. His swim trucks.
Ria Ciuffo
Nope, nope, nope.
Julie Bowen
No way.
Guest
Was not welcome back. I was like, I mean, is it so bad that one of your friends thought I was vaguely attracting?
Ria Ciuffo
They're like, yeah, it's. They're like, that's worst case scenario.
Julie Bowen
Mom. That's a compliment.
Ria Ciuffo
I bet they loved. Did they get to come to set for Happy Gilmore too? No, no, no. Sorry. Cuz I was going to say all the cameos that.
Julie Bowen
That's.
Guest
It was during school and so I was flying back and forth on like, I was, you know, I do my thing and then I go, Back. They want me around, and they want me to be their mom. Like, I could be up for, you know, 24 hours and working and then getting on a plane and coming back, and they'll walk in the door. They're like, how come you didn't sign my permission form?
Ria Ciuffo
And, like, they don't care, you know, my signature.
Julie Bowen
Just sign it.
Guest
And they. They don't care what you've been doing. They're inherently selfish in the most wonderful, and that's completely normal. They want me to be their mom. They want me to take care of them. And now they're. They're Every now and again, they're like, where have you been?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And I'm like, I was just on 10 planes. Thank you for asking. And they. I have a wonderful person, my life wife, who I make soap with. We do JB Scrub together. And she also produces with me. Her name's Rachel. And she forces them to write me cards for Mother's Day and my birthday every year. And you can tell that she stands behind them with, like, a freaking whip. Because they are long.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right, right.
Guest
Just like, purple prose. It's fantastic.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, that's fantastic. I was gonna say that's as I said. Because if it's not. If there's any. I'd imagine any teenage boy would want to. I know it's their mom, but, like, with a movie like this, right, you see everything that's going on, and it's Adam Sandler, and it's all these other guys and all these comedians and all these people. I know we're excited to watch it. That's for sure. I think it's gonna be. It's gonna be so fun. I feel like Adam does. He's been doing these, you know, sequels and these new versions of his classics, and he makes them so fun. This.
Guest
There was no reason to do this movie at all. Like, the first one was. Was. It was a perfect little gem. Leave it alone. And so there's a danger in picking that up and messing with it. But I knew if Adam wanted to do. He was gonna do it for a reason. And I think when you see it, he's. I don't want to say he's matured, because that makes him sound like he was a baby. He's just become such a loving family man. And I think he wanted to see, you know, what would it be like if Happy was a family man and, like, had struggles in his life and, like, how would he deal with that? So he had his reasoning, and I was like, I I don't need a reason.
Julie Bowen
I'm there.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. I'm there.
Julie Bowen
I'm there.
Guest
But I have to. I don't want to say it's better. I don't want to denigrate the past. But it's a really fun movie.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, that's exciting.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, we can't wait to watch it. Everyone can stream it on Netflix July 25th.
Julie Bowen
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
So it's a great campaign. Yeah. You know that.
Guest
Of course I know that. And there's a ball in.
Ria Ciuffo
Did you see this?
Guest
I thought I was hallucinating the other night. I turn on the news in my hotel room here, and it was the end of a news segment, like 11 o'. Clock. And they're like, you know, they always trying to end with something upbeat. Bummer. So here's a picture of a kitten.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
And this one was. There's some giant golf ball in Times Square.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I said yes. Yes.
Guest
With Happy Gilmore on it. And some good marketing.
Ria Ciuffo
That's a good activation.
Guest
But I mean, that's real. I'm looking over. Yeah, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, it's real.
Julie Bowen
They're bringing you to see it after.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's real. It's real.
Guest
But it went by so fast. They were like. And there it is. And then it was off the tv.
Ria Ciuffo
And I was like, yeah, that's their half.
Guest
Did I hallucinate that?
Ria Ciuffo
Well, everyone's talking about it. And the giant golf ball. Times Square two, for sure.
Julie Bowen
I do want to ask you, though, before one more thing before we wrap up. I saw you went on inside of you and you talked about your email, Julie B. Prozac. You don't have to tell us your new email, but has it changed?
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, yeah.
Guest
I had to change. I would not have given up my old. That was. For years. It was Julie B. Prozac, which, yes, I had got a. I finally got a proper business manager accountant who was like, that's changing. And I'm like, why?
Ria Ciuffo
My life's an open book.
Guest
He's like, close it a little.
Ria Ciuffo
All right, let's tighten it up.
Guest
Let's tighten it up. No one needs to know that you're nuts.
Julie Bowen
And.
Guest
Yeah, no, it's. It's definitely. And it's a weird email address.
Julie Bowen
It's a boring one now.
Guest
It isn't Julie Bowen.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Guest
At Julie Bowen.
Julie Bowen
To be a Prozac would be like a good, like, fina, you know, like the fake Instagram that people have.
Guest
Oh, totally. I hate that you thought you had to explain a fin today. I'm like, I know it Makes sense. Cuz I'm old and you're young but at the same time I'm. I know.
Julie Bowen
I didn't mean it like that. I just came out naturally.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh my gosh.
Julie Bowen
I even felt weird saying fin, you know, like it didn't feel natural to me.
Ria Ciuffo
I don't like saying that.
Julie Bowen
Like yeah, I, I hated that I.
Guest
Said also the for a minute since does which were like where you post like the bad stuff.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah. You probably know more than we do. Honestly, you're. Because the, the boy like it changed drastically after our age to the, to the gen Z immediately when I said.
Julie Bowen
Fenced, I said why did you say that?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Julie Bowen
Why not just get mad at yourself? Yeah.
Guest
You wanted to go. You're like, you reminded like I won office Survivor. It's okay, it's okay. I know.
Julie Bowen
That's what I tell myself often to go through anything. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, Julie, thank you.
Guest
Go into the bathroom. The color is rising high. She gives herself a long looking. She's like, I want office Survivor.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Julie Bowen
Gets me through anything.
Guest
Sometimes that's what you need. That is you got to go deal with your in laws for a long weekend. You're like, if I could do office Survivor, I got this. I don't even know. Maybe your in laws are awesome.
Julie Bowen
They are.
Guest
But.
Julie Bowen
They are. But I will say there are a lot of things where I'm like, you know what?
Ria Ciuffo
What?
Julie Bowen
I did win that.
Ria Ciuffo
I love it.
Julie Bowen
You caught me.
Guest
How come you didn't win with her?
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I, she was on her honeyweek. I was on my honey. I didn't participate.
Guest
You get to tell yourself you could have won.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, exactly.
Guest
Yeah, she would have won.
Ria Ciuffo
Who knows what would have happened if I was in it. No, I, I, I'm not cut out for that.
Guest
She be the parvy.
Ria Ciuffo
Not cut out for that.
Guest
That's her. No, she looks like parvy.
Julie Bowen
Yeah, a little bit. Actually.
Ria Ciuffo
We've had her on. I've actually some people have said that to me. No, she's got the, that was the cutthroat. I don't watch Survivor. I've never watched it. So I don't know how it works.
Guest
You got to get into it. Yeah, it is, it is good stuff. It is really good stuff. And it's too bad that you can't really do celebrity survivor because then it's, it's like a bit but like Mike White is doing the 50 and there's been people. John Lovitz was on it but not John Lovett's. John. Yeah. Jon Lovett. Was on it last year, but there's not. I don't know. I would love to do Survivor. I would love to do it, but it would be. You can't do the real Survivor if people know you from somewhere else because then they come for you.
Julie Bowen
You could do Surviving Barstool next season.
Guest
I will. Can I represent for one of you? Maybe for Noah?
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Guest
How come you didn't win?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Hey, we're only teammates. Like, next. We could win it. When Surviving Barcelona with Julie Bowen. I would put that in.
Guest
I've seen what happens if you're Boston Rob. They come for you.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Guest
So you have to. That's the. That's the problem. You got to be, like, low key.
Julie Bowen
Yeah. That's why I can't do it again.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Guest
Oh, yeah. No, you can't.
Julie Bowen
I'm out.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, you go out on top. Honestly, I don't think they're going to do the show anymore.
Guest
It was such a.
Julie Bowen
Who knows?
Guest
It cost him too much money.
Ria Ciuffo
It was. Yeah, yeah.
Julie Bowen
The company fell apart.
Ria Ciuffo
A lot of broken relationships, but. Okay. Julie, thank you so much.
Julie Bowen
Thank you.
Ria Ciuffo
We could have you on for hours, but we do have to wrap up.
Guest
