We went into Casa Amore and we're all going into it thinking it's the usual Casa More that we're going to get. Nope. They changed Casa More this year, and now they're having everybody single.

To couple up with new islanders in both Casa and the regular villa. And then everybody goes back to the villa, and they, I would assume, Then decide who they actually want to couple up with. I'm sure they do a recoup. One giant and one giant dumping.

It has to be. A giant recoupling and a giant dumping all at the same time.

They literally just said, taylor will say two things about it.

Right. And it was like, did. Did Taylor lead this pack? Like, I'm confused about the situation, but I am not sure how to feel about the casa more. Switch up. I don't think I like it. And here's my reasoning why. Yeah, I think think when it came to casa putting the guys and the girls in houses with, you know, strangers and new islanders, it was, like, up to them. Right. Like, are they gonna do something? And it was so tempting for them because, you know, they shouldn't be doing it, but are they gonna. And, like, we got to see, really, if somebody was slipping up or if they were really gonna keep to their connection.

With this, they're kind of forced to. To do something and forced to be in a new connection. And I can kind of see the side of it being like, all right, well, some of them almost seem like they're so locked into a point where, like, are they just trying to win the game.

You know, like, are they just locked in because they know if they go all the way that they'll win or what's going on? I just felt like we didn't. We didn't have to do that because I think that they all were gonna kiss each other anyway. Like, I thought they were all gonna explore anyway, because the whole season, they've all been open. Yeah. I can't decide if they're open. If they're. I think that's where I'm at. I'm like, are they all closed or are they all open? They keep saying they're all open. Right. But then, you know, Taylor and Alandria. I'm sorry. Like, let's stop acting like Alandria and Taylor have some strong connection, because every time they're on the screen together, it was pointed out to me by somebody at work. Yesterday, Steve actually said, can you talk about the way that Taylor kisses Alandria? And I thought, I've never noticed. Then I went back and looked at Sunday night's episode.

People are talking about it online.

[Hannah]

Oh, my God. It's like he wants nothing to do with kissing. Like, he's like. Like. Like it was a really strange kiss that they had on the. On the dock when she set up that little date and everything.

Like, he has to work himself up to, like, yes.

That's what it felt like watching. I was like, wait, what's going on? Because then watching him kiss all the new girls, I was like, weirdo, though. I never even.

But he was making out with the other girls. No problem. Like, it was like. And maybe they're just not showing us the passionate, intimate kisses between him and Alandria. But I was like, wait a second. That's right. And I just. I'm like, I don't know. Maybe it's just both their personalities. Like, I'm like, I'm not feeling the chemistry. Like, I. I'm just not feeling it. So.

No, I don't. I. Their. Their chemistry does not jump off the screen.

No, not at all.

It really doesn't. I mean, to be quite honest, none of them really do that much.

No. Besides, like, Sierra and Nick, but, like, like, you know, no Sierra.

No Sierra. Nick definitely do. But at the same time, I'm like. I'm like, I also want to, like, have a talking to with Nick to be like, fucking get your shit together. But I don't know if production thought that they would either be, like, so crazy in casa or, like, not crazy at all that they Were like, we have to give them some sort of structure. Because what's so great about casa, too, is it does make. Makes it feel like they are moving on their own volition. Like, they are. Like, if they're. They have that connection in the house, but if there is someone that they see that they like, it is their own choice to pursue that person. There's no, like, oh, well, now we're in a couple, so I should explore, because we're in a couple. And I almost think I was like, does this kind of restrain them a little bit where it's like, how are they thinking this is gonna go? Like, should we just stay with the person we're coupled up with? Does that stop them from sort of talking to some of the other guys?

Right?

Because it's like, immediately it plays. It shows all their cards. Like, having them. Having the guys have to, you know, vice versa, whatever. But, like, having them have to stand next to the islander that they're interested in. It's like, you're putting all your cards on the table already. Like, pretty. You're not. Like, you can't play it cool of like, oh, I like this girl like this, or I like this girl. Because in his mind, if two girls, you know, now one of these guys, they're paired up with the person that wasn't their first choice. The girl's like, well, that's the first choice. No, I. Both way. I'm saying it, like, for both, because he did it on both sides. But, like, it's the same kind of thing where it's like, oh, now you're like, we just kind of started the whole show over again a little bit in a weird way, right? Which I don't really know if that was necessary, because I'm not gonna lie. Like, it got a little. It got a little slow. It got, like, a little boring of being like, okay, we're just watching two giant first episodes again, of them, like, coupling up and showing who they like when I don't casa something that does not need to be changed. Like, it's so. And I did write on. I wrote on Instagram, too. I was like, look, right now I'm nervous about it. Could it create an absolutely insane recoupling at the end of all this? Yes, it could. Having them all there together and they all can talk and they all can see each other, and they all can say something that could be explosive in that sense. That part. I'm like, okay. But they could have done that anyway without the, like, full recouplings at the beginning of Casa because they're just not there for that long either. For it to be like you have to do a full right new couple.

It kind of feels like they now just are full, fully playing into it's a game aspect because now people are just talking.

[Rhea]

Way more strategic.

[Hannah]

It just feels like people are talking and trying to connect now because somebody has to go home. So telling TJ and Amaya that they are vulnerable and going home, it's almost like, okay, well, now they have to make a connection or else they're being sent home. Which feels like things could be not genuine because everyone's just worried about being sent home. So I'm not really a fan of this new twist. Could it potentially lead to something great when we get back from it? Yes. We'll have to wait and see. I guess it's something they're just going to test, see if it works. We'll find out what happens. But I really wasn't a fan of it, and honestly, I just got bored throughout it, and now I'm like, oh, my God, this is the proof that you get attached to the islanders. Because now I'm like, oh, my God, we got to learn about so many new people.

And we're like. And you do anyway when it comes to Casa More, but in this one, it just feels so much more because they. Everybody's in a new couple and you have to see each couple and, yeah, I mean, I guess we'll see what happens.

But TJ being a hard judger and then, like, it completely backfiring on him was so funny.

[Hannah]

Ariana was killing me being like, what is with this guy? I mean, tj, if every single girl isn't a good kisser, maybe the common denominator is you, because the other guys were rating them like 9.6, whatever. And you get to see Jay's like, like a six.

Just doesn't even really look like a good kisser.

No. One of the girls. One of the girls was like, he kisses different.

Some of them have decided that while they are still going to stay in their couple, it's like, oh, well, if you Explored now and you had connections. Actually, now it's your time to go. It's like, no, that's not the point of the show. You explore. You make connections. You make a connection. You stay. You're you. You found it. Now you stay. That's the whole point. It's like when Shelly was like, oh, you know, Hannah, she's gotten two great connections and, like. And now, like, she can go. It's like, no, she explored. She made a good connection. Now she stays like, am I. It's not like, oh, there are other girls they haven't. Haven't had. Like, no, they're exploring and it's not working right. So I just.

That they have defined, like, the way Love island works. And that's just not true, by the way. Like, any season of Love island can be different. They're like, we make the rules this season, and you're not exploring enough, so you. You're gonna go. But it's like, literally, a. Jeremiah tried with Iris wasn't there. Andrea comes in. There's a connection. He's not gonna connect with any of the other girls. He's known them for weeks. It's not. There's no connection. So for him to pursue Andre and it's like, yeah, that's the one person that he can pursue. And you're going to. You're going to say, no, no, no. He's doing what he did with how to hood a hooda, coulda, woulda, shoulda. We're sending her home.

So allegedly that in the back of the falling out between Scooter and Justin really happened around the fact that Scooter had done all these deals for Justin. Allegedly. Allegedly. But instead of just getting him paid, like, here's the check. Sign it. He got like stock options in these. These companies, like whatever that big company was, instead of getting paid, I'm gonna take stock.

But then he took the stock and the stock was put in the name of Ithaca holdings, which is Scooter's equity company. So. And I think it's all like, oh, then you have pieces of. You have a piece of that and that and that. And I think that it got to the point where when they broke up and Justin looked at his bank account and he was like, where's the money? And it was all tied up in this web, allegedly of things that Scooter had put it in. And he didn't actually have any cash money to pay for things. I think that started that. That was the start of a very bad breakup for Scooter. And I think when you're a kid and you've had a manager like that for so long. So long. It's like JLo and Benny Medina. Like, you've had someone in your life for 25 plus years. That's your dad, that's your business manager, that's your manager. That's your, your person for them to break up. I think he has lost it and I think with the money issues as well because I think he allegedly went to go audit Scooter to say hey, I.

Oh, I'm owed all this money. And then the audit came back. No, actually Justin, you owe us all this money that we never commissioned on. So it's a, it's a big financial disaster. Like, and you're young and you have no one to go to. You can't go to your family because you're paying for all their mortgage.

Yeah. Or like he DM'd us, being like, you guys could have DM me. And then I think he commented, yeah, or some. Yeah, something like that. He was supposed to come on the show and he did not feel comfortable coming on our show.

And he did not feel comfortable.

He was supposed to come on with a coat, with a co star. Like, it was like they were promoting a project together. And then the co star came on. Couldn't do. Co star. Couldn't do it.

I was definitely a huge CSV Key fan. But without to hear if this would be a good cast in your guys eyes or if there's any other reality stars who haven't really been on a show recently who you think would be a good new Summer House addition just to mix it up a little bit or if you think they should just stick with people who have never really been in that reality space before. Thanks. She, she. Juliet said this on the toast. I think she was like that. She a casting director or someone that worked on Siesta Key was a casting for Summer House and she did the whole interview thing, whatever, and they didn't obviously go with her. And she said she thought maybe, like, that Lexi kind of took that role that perhaps she would have had. I do feel like Summer House has kind of stuck with the formula of bringing in people that maybe haven't really done reality TV before, because it's not like Lexi had a shit ton of followers. So it's like she was in that world, like, kind of being known, but not necessarily reality tv. But I think I would actually love for them to bring in some reality TV people.

Right. But I feel like if you have people who have been on before but haven't been on years, at least they know what it takes to be on reality tv.

Especially in that sort of format where it's just, like, following friends around or whatever.

It feels when she has done something really serious, like when her character's having that fucking meltdown on euphoria, like, that was good, you know, So I just don't. I don't know if it's necessarily like the, like the funny rom com vibe is like her bread and butter necessarily.

It feels as though it's. She has a bit of a monotone voice.

In anyone but you. At times it just feels very monotone. But when she's like doing the extreme, like. And you find. Like you said, I think she's incredible. But it's those. Those little moments that we're like, this feels. This is falling a bit flat.

And you know, Glen Powell, he was the charm of that movie, let's be honest. He had all the Charm. I think they had good chemistry. I think I thought that they had good chemistry together. But you are not completely in the wrong that, like, you know, I don't think she's giving Academy Award winning performances like you said with the White Lotus and anyone but you. I am interested in the upcoming movies she's doing, though, and I think she's really good in Euphoria.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. She does kind of like, remind me of like a Dakota Johnson in the sense of, like, there are some things that I've seen Dakota and that I've loved and some. But they both kind of have like that monotone speaking voice. And then there's some things where people obviously, you know, whatever, like Madame Web, everyone said was like the worst movie ever. No. Which is not necessarily Dakota Johnson's fault. But, um. But I mean, I like, I love her. I love Dakota Johnson. I mean, I watched her on. I watched her on Amy Poehler's podcast recently, and she's so fucking funny.

She is so fucking funny. But there's. But like her humor in that monotone sense like you get when you're talking to her as a person. And then I think acting wise, sometimes it's different. I know.

[Jeremiah]

You know, I think it's a lot of mixed emotions. A lot of glasses of wine and sad songs and tears, and I feel really bad for my neighbors because, oh, my God, they probably think I need, like, an exorcism or something. I losing my mind. But I, you know, day by day, today is definitely a better day.

[Hannah]

So I feel like as each day goes on, it'll get better. We did see your emotional reaction to being dumped that night, and I think, you know, everybody was like, why? Why did this happen? Was that your immediate reaction as well?

[Jeremiah]

I was not expecting that at all. Like, when I tell you I didn't have, like, an ounce of. Of, like, thought in my mind, and it could have also been Pepe. I feel like the entire time, he was just looking at me, and he was like, you're good. Like, everyone loves you. You're good. Like, don't cry. Stop crying. You're fine. You're fine, you're fine. You're okay.

[Pepe]

You're okay.

[Jeremiah]

So, like, that was my mind. I'm like, I'm okay. I'm okay. Everything's fine. So literally everything changed in, like, a second. She said my name, and I literally, like, my mind just like, what the fudge? Like, there's no way.

[Hannah]

Mm.

[Jeremiah]

That was really two times we're gonna do this to me.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Hannah]

I mean, that was the reaction. Watch it. And then, you know, anybody, naturally, after they get sent home by the people in the villa, are going to be like, I don't even know if I can talk to you. You just sent me home. And we kind of saw a little bit of that. We saw, you know, the girls telling you the light in the villa. How did you feel talking to them after, While you're packing your stuff?

[Pepe]

Oh, my God.

[Jeremiah]

I didn't talk. I literally, like, what was shown was the only words that I said because I was like, I don't really want to talk to them. I only want to talk to Pepe. I was like, I. I couldn't. Like, how. What do I say? I talked to Iris because, like, Iris was my girl, and she had no part in that. And everyone else, I was just like, I really. Like, there's no words because when I'm sad or when I'm frustrated or when I'm angry, like, I just, like, shut off. Like, I don't have this. Like, I sob, cry, like, you know, I'm a crybaby, but, like, I don't really speak. And so I didn't know what to say. And they kept trying to tell me all these things. Oh, well, we love you. I'm like, do you.

[Rhea]

Right? I was gonna. Did the girls try to give you any kind of explanation to their reasoning behind their vote?

[Jeremiah]

I pretty much got as much of a reasoning as everyone else did. And I even watched, like, the most recent, like, the first episode of Like Casa, like, right after I left. Still, I was waiting for an expensive explanation. I was waiting to see if anyone stood behind me at all or if anyone was, like, the front runner of, like, gunning for me to go home. And I still didn't get it. Them saying that I seemed closed off right away. One man walked into the villa, and I had a conversation with him. The thing about tj, like, when he walked in, we had one conversation. But I can kind of clock when, like, me and somebody have different. How do I word this? Different opinions on things that I just don't waver on. And I kind of stand on business with that. And I there, I knew there's multiple people that were like that, that I just did not want to, like, have those interactions with everybody else. All the other guys I was really close with, and I've talked about them, about their connections, and I haven't. Like, they just weren't on my radar. I was. I told the girls, up and down, down, I'm ready for casa more. I want to see what comes in. Like, I'm ready to test my connections. That's what I'm there for. I've been that way since the jump. Everyone can see that. That I was never like, oh, I'm married. I'm off with this man. I'm so in love. La, la, la, la.

[Hannah]

Yeah, but.

[Jeremiah]

So that was definitely weird to me. And I still don't know, but maybe I'll never know.

[Rhea]

It really did seem like the reasoning changed for. It's like the reasoning for voting certain people, it's like, it changes with the person. Like, they've. It seems like they've made up different rules. For different people. And like this person hasn't explored enough so they're. We're sending them home. This person's explored too much. So we're saying it doesn't seem to make really any sense. How did it feel watching. If you watch. So you watch that episode of the beginning of the casa. How did it feel watching the boys seem really confused by you getting sent home?

[Jeremiah]

I think that was the general reaction from everyone was like, literally I even had a chat with Jeremiah like right when we were leaving. He's like, me, I didn't expect. But you was crazy. Like that's. Nobody would have guessed that. And like I, I was really close with Taylor so I know that like I saw Taylor's face when they said my name and that's when I knew, knew like Pepe wasn't going home and it was just going to be me. And I was like, that's. I just shut down because it's like you really, like you don't expect it. And I don't think anyone would have expected. I never would have prepared myself for that.

[Hannah]

It did feel like watching it. And we did speak to Charlie as well and we said this to him that it seemed like you were doing Love island in the way that you're sort of supposed to. Like you had a connection with Chart Charlie. He, you know, you were, you know, experimenting with Pepe and then you went back to Charlie, he was sent home and then, you know, you sort of tried to further that connection with Pepe and it seemed like you guys were getting there. So it did seem like a very odd choice from the viewer perspective of why they would send you. I mean people, you don't understand, like people were screaming at their TVs, including us about you and Jeremiah. As for Jeremiah sending home, what did you think about that? Were you surprised about that as well?

[Jeremiah]

That was shocking. I really liked. I could tell you I had two ideas of who's y ho in my head and it was not Jeremiah for sure. And like I could maybe see where they. No, I really couldn't see what they. I couldn't. I'm not even going to try reason with that because that was really confusing. Maybe they wanted to put an end to like the Hood and Jeremiah show because it was literally non stop all the time, 24 7. So like maybe that was just their like actual reasoning but they didn't want to say that. So.

[Rhea]

Right. That it did kind of seem like it was that that may have been the case. Did it seem ever while you were in the villa, that perhaps there was some sort of animosity between, like, Ace, Taylor and Nick and Jeremiah and the way they were feeling about him. Because watching it as viewers, it comes across like Ace has almost had. Had this kind of personal issue with Jeremiah, and, like, the second he had a chance to get him out, he did.

[Jeremiah]

I don't. Like. I really don't think that I noticed that. I'm kind of oblivious, though. Like, I feel like I. I'm just like, I don't know what's going on half the time. But, like, usually, like, pretty much every night, I would come down and I would talk to Ace, Taylor, and Nick. Like, every night. I was. I was always, like, the first one to. In bed, and, like, Jeremiah was always, like, the last one. So he was never really in our conversations, but I. They never, like, said anything that would have made me feel that way. But, like, I know that they were super close, and I know Pepe and Jeremiah were really close, so it was like, you know.

[Rhea]

Right again, some. That's when it turns into Friend island.

[Hannah]

Right? Because I feel like we're watching conversations where it seems like those group of guys seem like they're kind of being like, this is what's supposed to happen in the villa, and this is what's not happening happening. Did it feel that way at all where they were kind of, like, you know, policing what the other islanders were doing?

[Jeremiah]

Ace definitely was, like, the president of the villa. Like, I feel like he just, like. I don't know, he always was, like, ordering the boys to do things. Like, he'd be like, go tell Shelly that she got a text or that you got a text. And, like, it was so weird, but, like, I don't know. I thought it was funny, but it was just, like, odd because they were just like, yes, master.

[Hannah]

Like, yeah, I feel justified hearing this because watching that's how we feel where, like, you know, Ace snaps his fingers and the boys are making Shelly breakfast and putting on a show and putting on their suit and tie.

[Rhea]

Nick, go put your jacket on. Set up a date for Shelly.

[Hannah]

Yes, sir. I'll do whatever you want. And it's like, we're watching all this happen. So that is really how it was.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah. Like, and I don't. Like, it wasn't constant, but it was like, definitely I would be like, oh, there Ace goes again. Another date planned for Joe. It was. It was funny. But I, Like, I'm. I'm an observer, so I think I really pay attention to things like that.

[Rhea]

But, yeah, no, no. And I. We've. We've noticed it too. You had what seemed to be a good friendship with Huda. You were always there for her when she was going through a lot of her issues. And then right at the end there, before you were sent home, it looked like maybe she was interested in Pepe and had some conversations with him. Him. How did you feel about that? Because another, you know, a little bit of the viewership as well was like, ooh, maybe Huda didn't fight for Hannah to stay, because that would have opened Pepe up.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah, that was crazy. And there's actually a lot of conversations that happened that weren't shown. Like, I had so many chats with Hooda where I'd be like, nobody wants to hear you talk about Jeremiah anymore. You can come to me, I can give you advice, or I can just sit there and listen. And we would talk a lot about her situation. All, like, constantly. Like, constantly. And I didn't really like doing it in group settings, because I know, like, everyone was kind of annoyed. But there was one conversation I had with her that same day that she, like, went and pulled him where I was like, there's a lot of things that I want to talk to him about, like, in my, like. Like, my past traumas and stuff that I really want to open up to him about. And, um, I'm not, like, I don't know if I'm ready to. Or I don't know how to say it. And she's like, oh, why don't you practice and tell me everything? So I sit there and I tell her everything I'm about to tell Pepe. And then, like, that happens later. And what's not shown, too, is, like, when she pulls Pepe, he's like, on me. Feed me pancakes, and, like, kissing me on the neck. And then she's like, oh, Pepe, come here. And then pulls him, like, well, like, I'm sitting right there. And that was. And I had no clue. Like, it was never was told to me. Or even, like, you don't need to explain it to me. You don't need to give me your reasoning. You don't even need to ask my permission. All you have to say is, hey, I'm gonna pull Pepper for a chat. Like, that would be, like, just decent to know before. So I'm not, like, sitting there like, what the fuck is going on? Yeah, right.

[Hannah]

I mean, absolutely. Because, like, it's been said a trillion times. It's been beaten down. It's like, obviously, it's about exploring connections and at that point, people wanted Huda and Jeremiah to stop. It was like, enough this. So explore other connections. If Huda came to you and was like, listen, I'm just gonna talk to everybody. I mean, I'm gonna pull Pepe for a chat. I'm gonna pull everybody because I need to see what else is out there. Different story. But it was the, you know, acting like she didn't know how the challenge went to. We saw that she was a guy. Didn't know that I had to make out with Pepe at the end, which was. Yeah. Which was a little bit. Which was a little bit confusing. And also, you. You know, I want to bring this up in an appropriate matter, but we did see, I believe that you were intimate with Pepe, and us viewers saw that. Yeah. Did that change things for you after that moment?

[Jeremiah]

How do I want to talk about this? See, because I feel like with Pep B, I was really, really comfortable with him really fast. We had, like, actually, like, a really good dynamic, and I feel like it's not, like, shown at all.

[Rhea]

At all.

[Jeremiah]

And I think going into that night, I had, I think, talked to him about, like, just how I have been in the past. And, like, I. I feel like. Do I want to mention. I'll say it. Whatever. I've had, like, a lot of, like, I guess, sexual trauma in the past past, and I feel like that's changed a lot about me and how I view, like, my. I don't know, my sexuality and how I'm confident in that, and I feel like I am finally in control of that. And I don't think anyone should have an opinion on what I choose to do. I don't think anyone should have an opinion on what any woman chooses to do for sure, who sleep with. Because I could sleep with every man in that room if I wanted to, but I didn't. You know, I didn't. I did what I wanted to do. And, you know, people are going to. I mean, it was kind of crazy. I thought, you know. Yeah.

[Hannah]

No, I think you saw.

No, I'm. I'm with you. I think everybody should be able to do whatever they want to do. Like you said, women should be able to do whatever they want. And, like, you're exploring in there. Like, you go for it. With Pepe, were you feeling, like, sort of the next day, say, like, you know, I'm feeling a little bit more closed off. Did you feel like he was feeling closed off, or are you like, okay, we're still Gonna keep things open. At that point, I don't think I.

[Jeremiah]

Ever felt closed off, but I think it definitely changes the dynamic a lot. But we were also already really close. I remember one thing Huda said to me. She was like, oh, like, Pepper really likes you. Like, what do you do to these men to make them like you? And it was. Was like, I think that the morning before that night, and I was like, what do I do? I don't know.

[Hannah]

I just like to talk.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Hannah]

I'm just myself. And I mean, the reason. Part of the reason I'm asking that is because we're kind of seeing a little bit unfold with Nick and Sierra and just more conversations like that happening in general in the villa, which I think is also great for people to be open about it because it is something that happens outside of the villa.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah, I think, like, definitely it, like, changed our dynamic maybe a little bit more. I think he was definitely more, like, less interested in pursuing other connections. But I think we both, from the jump, have been very, like, you know, we're going to talk to other people, we're going to do things, kiss people and challenges, whatever or outside, like, come on, whatever. We're in love. But, like, ultimately, if, like, if it's meant to be, if it's supposed to work out, we'll come back to each other and like, yeah, absolutely.

[Hannah]

Now, seeing that casa has started, how do you think you would have done with just, like, being thrown into a new house, new guys, with all this new recoupling that's happening in this huge twist?

[Jeremiah]

That would have been crazy, I think. Feel. Come on. I, like, I feel like I would have had. I've been blasted. I think I would have done the thing. I think I maybe would have crashed out a lot just because, like, my mind's gonna be like, what's that man doing? But now I can watch it right in front of me, so I know exactly what he's doing. So maybe that's a little bit more of a relief. But, yeah, I think I would have definitely dove into the experience the way that I have been the entire time. But. And I don't think that would have changed.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Hannah]

Regarding.

[Rhea]

I want to go back a little bit because you did have. You've had these, you know, I will say viral moments now. And one of them was also when Charlie was sent home and you were crying on your pillow and you had the picture of you from the photo booth next to you. And. And it did seem, obviously like emotions were so high and you were so Upset about Charlie leaving. What was your mindset shift like from that night to the next day? Because, of course, as viewers, we don't see everything. So for us it was like, oh, here she is. Very upset to, like, okay, she seems to be making it work, Pepe, pretty quickly. So what was. How. How did you kind of get through that?

[Jeremiah]

So, okay, that was like a 24 hour day. That was a really, really fucking long day. And don't get me wrong, I was crying for hours. Like, it was not like a. Okay, I'm ready. I'm happy when I finally decided to go talk to Pepe, because I just remember him sitting there at the fire pit next to me being like, I'm so sorry. Like, I'm so sorry. I would have never. Like, I would have never wanted this for you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Just constantly apologizing to me. And I was like, that can't feel good that I'm sobbing about being coupled up with him. So I was like, I just need to go, like, reassure him that, like, he's perfectly fine. Like, it's not like, I know it's nothing he could do. And I kind of just told him, like, you know, I finally feel like I made a decision for myself and that was completely ripped out from under me. And maybe it was signed because the girls kept saying, oh, well, maybe it's a sign, like, everything happened for a reason. Maybe there's a reason that you were coupled up with Pepe. Maybe that Charlie was saying things that you didn't know or, like, things were going on that you didn't know about. So that really got into my head and I'm like, maybe I was making a, like, a really, like, decision on a whim without really thinking about it because I had an idea of what Pepe was from, like, what the girls were telling me. Like, oh, he's just playing you. He's just like, he's just like every other guy. And so that really got in my head. And that's, like, how I viewed him. And he was just like, what can I do to help you? How can I comfort you? Like, what? He was pretty much the only one who was there for me through all of that. Everyone, everyone was with Huda because Huda was crying about Jeremiah, not comforting her. And my man just went home. So, like, nobody was really comforting me except him. And I was like, I'm gonna go make myself some food. This man was like, no, you go to bed. I'll make you food. This man made Me three different meals. He made me, like, pancakes and then a PB and J and, like, bacon and eggs. And then he was like, I was gonna make you a breakfast sandwich, too. I'm like, I don't eat anymore. And then that night in the bed, we stayed up all night until maybe 10 minutes before our date. I fell asleep finally, because he was just like, I'll listen to you talk. Just, like, talk. Let me know everything you're feeling. And we really got to know each other. None of that was shown. It was hours and hours and hours of me just talking and him just listening. And he'd yawn and be like, you can go to bed. And he's like, no, keep talking. Like, I want to hear what you have to say. I want to hear your thoughts. And, like. And then I was finally like, okay, I'll go to bed. He's like, okay, turn around. Like, I'll rub your back and, like, talk.

[Hannah]

That's really sweet. And I do wish that we saw that, because we don't see that.

[Rhea]

We haven't seen.

[Hannah]

No, we haven't seen that side of Pepe. And I really do wish we saw that. And obviously, there's so much that's happening, and, you know, there's only. They can only fit so much in an hour. But that's really sweet to hear, you know, behind the scenes of that. And it seems like you guys really did have a great connection. And, you know, we're talking about the same night that Charlie was dumped. And in the last episode that we saw you in, in, we did see, like, a quick glimpse of you mentioned, you know, I miss Charlie, but I'm connecting with Pepe. Now that you're on the outside and you're going to be going home soon, do you see any world where you would maybe meet, you know, Charlie for a coffee or just a meetup and. And see where your head's at? Are you kind of going to wait to see what happens with Pepe?

[Jeremiah]

I'm definitely open to still talking to Charlie. I think he's a great guy. We had a really good connection. Like, I. I'm not at all, like, discrediting that. We had. I think it was very great. It was just very, very different. Charlie was not really open to talking about life after the villa, while Pepe was. I feel like every time I kind of brought it up, he would be like, oh, well, let's not talk about that right now. Like, let's focus on, like, the moment. Live in the moment. Which, like, was hard to, like, Deepen a connection when we can't really talk about that. And he'd also be like, oh, well, Pepe lives really close to you. You know, I'm all the way in Australia, so, like, Like, I understand. Like, it was. It was weird because, like, I didn't understand if he, like, wanted to see me after this or if he only, like, wanted to have fun then. And, like, that's not what I was there for. But then, like, everyone was like, oh, you're just in your head. You're just in your head. I. Maybe I was just in my head, but I'm an overthinker. I overthink everything. And, like, that's a cancer man. I don't trust cancer type, so. So I, like, I don't know, you know. Yeah, I'm just still thinking, but I know it's his birthday in, like, two days. I was keeping track in the villa. I'd be like, 10. I talked about Charlie all the time. Yeah, I really talk about Charlie all the time. It wasn't shown, but I'd be like, oh, 10 days till Charlie's birthday. Because I was like, the calendar. I would keep track of the day, kept me sane. So I'd be like, now it's two days till his birthday. Maybe I'll have my phone back to tell him happy birthday.

[Hannah]

Yeah, I mean, you never know what can happen now that you're out outside. You're all caught up, though. You've watched every single episode or just a couple.

[Jeremiah]

I watched everything. I literally spammed it all in one day. I was like, boring conversation, skip about me that, like, I watch everything that I wanted to watch.

[Hannah]

What? I just want to know your general thoughts of. Of watching this season and what was shown to us. And obviously you've brought up, you know, Huda and Jeremiah a ton. And even though it's died down a bit and Jeremiah was sent. Went home, it was, you know, the conversation of the whole beginning of this season.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah, you know, I had a lot of chats that, like, weren't shown. And I think that changes my reality a little bit because, like, literally every time there's drama going on, me and Pep would just look at each other and be like, okay, let's go talk somewhere else. Like, we really, like, abort, like, every conversation conversation. Just like, we. I was there to build connections. I wasn't there to, like, feed into everything or, like, you know, do things I didn't want to do. I. I was pretty lazy, too. I, like, never got ready in the morning with Them I would just, like, put clothes on and go downstairs. I needed my coffee and I need my breakfast or I was gonna get real angry. But yeah, I think it does show, like, a pretty good idea of what's going on. But, like, yeah, it was really like Huda and Jeremiah focused 24 7. I feel like she would just kind of always have something to say. And I honestly didn't really have, like, a good perception of Jeremiah until watching that back. I did have a chat with him before I left, like a couple days before I left, where I was just like, honestly, like, I never heard good things about you and I'm seeing a different side of you now. And I, like, would like to keep getting to know you because I've only known what I've heard from Huda, which has never really been anything good. So it's hard because, like, you don't see every conversation. You don't get to know everyone personally. I really was super close with Taylor and other than that, there was nobody, like, I was super close with. But, like, I didn't really chat about, like, other people's connections too much.

[Rhea]

Saying that you're, you know, very close with Taylor, I wonder, like, if you have an opinion on his connection with Alandria, because I think we watching, at least for the two of us, you know, we've seen it's been a slow burn and it's built a little bit. But I wonder if, like, you have really felt it from his side, his feelings for her. Because I think the viewers are. Have been a little iffy on how he really feels about her because he hasn't really seemed to explore any other connection actions.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah, I don't think really any connection for him has walked in.

[Rhea]

Yeah. Yeah.

[Jeremiah]

But I do think he does like Alandra, but she is a very slow burner. So I feel like maybe that's a little hard to, like, handle if you're not expecting that. But I do think that they have a good dynamic. I just don't know if it's like, there yet. I think there needs to be more time to. But also more experimenting. I feel like there's not enough experimenting from either. But I love at Landry to death, and I think she deserves the world.

[Hannah]

Yeah, I mean, we love Alandria as well. What is. What is going to be your reaction now? Say that, you know, the season ends, the girls reach out to you. How are you gonna navigate those conversations?

[Jeremiah]

You know, I am very forgiving and I understand that they did what they need to do. And I hold no, no, like, animosity about that. Because I do think that Iris really deserved a chance. She didn't get a chance at all. And Amaya is a sweetheart. I just think she didn't really have, like, a solid connection either. So I'm glad that they get a chance to be back out there and, like, really give it a go. I think definitely I'll internalize everything that I do know and probably need to have those chats, like, how I felt and, like, how that moment made me feel, because I didn't say anything. I really did not say anything in that moment. So, yeah, I think it'll be like Nashville for my birthday, apparently. We'll see.

[Rhea]

I know.

[Hannah]

Well, I.

[Rhea]

You know, we saw that you were.

[Hannah]

Talking about Nashville for your birthday, and then I think, was Sierra wearing your dress or was that a shared closet dress? She was wearing your dress.

[Jeremiah]

My dress? Yeah.

[Pepe]

Getting set home with somebody else.

[Hannah]

You got sent home with your dress on her? Oh, no. And then did she have to give it. She had to take it off and give it back.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah, I got it in a bag, like, two days later.

[Rhea]

Oh, that's tough.

[Hannah]

That is tough.

[Rhea]

Because, you know, at the end of.

[Hannah]

The day, it probably wasn't easy for them either. They have to send somebody home, and it's not an easy decision. I think people were just like, why Hannah? When she has the strongest connection out of the group.

[Rhea]

Yeah, it gets frustrating because of. Of it really does become, like, friend island when it comes to the votes. We. We're screaming from the rooftops. We want more power. It's like, hey, what? It's time for us to just send someone home. And the islanders can't decide. It's gotta be America because it has felt like they're starting to talk about America as, like, a character on the show. Do you think any of the contestants have America's opinions in kind of clouding their judgment a little bit when they make decisions when it comes? Yeah. Like, they're like, ooh, I'm gonna do this. What do you think? I want America to like me.

[Jeremiah]

Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure. Like, and you hear a lot of that. They'll be like, well, America thinks that.

[Rhea]

Blah, blah.

[Jeremiah]

I'm like, you don't know what America thinks. They could be thinking anything, Damn it. Like, I don't know. I still don't know what America thinks. I don't have my phone back.

[Rhea]

Yeah, yeah.

[Jeremiah]

But, yeah, I think definitely that was something that was thought about by pretty much everyone a little bit. Like, everyone was just like, oh, well, America felt this way about Huda, and Jeremiah lit them up, and Hud was like, does America hate me? Why does America hate me? And I think maybe that's when, like, she tried to change.

[Rhea]

Yeah. There has definitely been a shift. Shift from her since. Since those moments. It feels like, you know, watching a little bit. And yes, she has had these pep talks and talking about kind of a redemption for herself. And, I mean, we weren't fully. We were kind of a little confused about the vote in general of how that kind of. She snuck in there. But that's, you know, that's how. That's the way people voted. That's the way people voted.

[Hannah]

Yeah. And I think. Yeah, watching it seemed like the guys thought, okay, well, the America voted to split up Hooda and Jeremiah, and now Jeremiah is in the bottom three, so that must mean America wants Jeremiah gone. And that wasn't the case, really.

[Rhea]

So it is.

[Hannah]

It is interesting. Now, the reaction to Sunday night was unlike anything I've seen. I mean, it was. It was insane. It was explosive. People are still talking about it. You know, we need to wrap up. But I do want to note just a quick background of how you got onto the show.

[Jeremiah]

Oh, okay. I. I think I applied, like, on a whim, like, before last season. Just like, shits and giggles. I. I love reality tv. It's like my thing. I binge it. Like, I'm such a Love island watcher.

[Rhea]

Yes.

[Jeremiah]

And, you know, I was going through a breakup, and, you know, I was like, you know, Batman, I'm gonna heard nothing until. Until, like, maybe March of this year. I got a text, and they're like, hey, you still single? I'm like, what the. I thought it was fake. And then I was like, you know what? I'm gonna go for it. I actually had no idea I was going into the villa. I'm in Fiji, and I still was thinking I probably wasn't going on. And then one day they're like, pack your bags. They're going in. So it was really a shocker. I was not expecting it. And then.

[Hannah]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

Were you excited to go in as a bombshell or more nervous? Like, would you have rather been. Been, like, on from the beginning, or did you like coming in as a bombshell?

[Jeremiah]

Oh, I was definitely nervous to come in as a bombshell. I like. And that's what I was thinking the whole time. I was like, you know, if I have to wait here any longer, I don't know if I'm ready to go in. Because I knew, like, I Was scared. I was scared to go in and like, it's scary. It's really intimidating. And did you see Happy with my edits now?

[Rhea]

Yes.

[Hannah]

Yes. Did you see the episodes before you. You went in?

[Jeremiah]

I watched the first episode, so I didn't really have an idea of how the dynamics were at the moment, but I did watch, like, everybody's introduction, and then I watched Sierra and Charlie walk in. That's all I knew.

[Hannah]

Wow. Yeah. That's got to be nerve wracking. Coming in as a bombshell, you know, they're always like, you got to steal a man and that. That situation.

[Rhea]
