Ria
All over.
Fran
We're all over. We are time travelers. We went from LA to Dallas to here, straight off the airport and now here, here.
Ria
Yeah, we just really didn't know what time zone we were in. For a while I thought Dallas was potentially too. Like I, I just. We jumped. We jumped all over the place, came from la, lost the two hours. We're in the airport late to the hotel. The back to the east coast. Another lose another hour. My body doesn't know what time it is?
Fran
We don't know what time it is. We also got, like, less than two hours of sleep last night because we had to get to the airport early to get an early flight.
Ria
Yes.
Fran
But we made it, and we're happy that we made it.
Ria
Yeah. Here's the thing. Like, I know everyone's seeing the videos online, and you guys dealt with it a little bit, flying to Dallas.
Noah
Tell me about it.
Ria
Obviously. Why'd you. Why didn't you say that? Like that? Miles away, like, he said that. He was like,
Fran
tell her about it. Me. And nowhere in, like, a silly, goofy.
Noah
Every single person in the meet and greet, not to brag, was asking me about my travels.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
I was like, I wasn't lying. Like, it was a talk of the Internet.
Ria
Yeah, clearly everyone was talking about it.
Fran
I got emails asking if people wanted you on the show.
Ria
Yeah.
Fran
They were treating me like I'm your
Ria
manager looking for media requests.
Fran
They were like, you're like, do you know. Do you know him?
Noah
Storytelling?
Fran
And I said, he's not available. Booked and busy.
Noah
You got me going all around following you.
Fran
Yeah, right, exactly.
Ria
He's the storyteller.
Noah
So do you want this fire alarm keeps going off.
Fran
The fire alarm. The fire alarm in our studio keeps going off.
Ria
But regardless, you made your flight.
Noah
I made it. I mean, you want a quick synopsis?
Ria
I'm sorry I opened this door. Sure. I'm sure. We get a little Friday energy. Presented by Planet Fitness from.
Fran
From whatever.
Ria
Noah's gonna start this journey for us.
Fran
Heck, yeah.
Ria
Noah Ives, the king of quicksand. Noah tells a story faster than Noah.
Noah
I've had this story, like, a good amount of times now, so I feel like maybe I could get it down pretty quickly.
Fran
As long as yours.
Noah
All right, so we're traitors.
Fran
Yeah. The floor is yours.
Noah
And then there's, like, a dramatic pause.
Fran
Mm.
Noah
I'll say something.
Fran
This fucking alarm.
Noah
Should I go ask someone? Like, hey, can we get this off? Is there a way to turn it off?
Fran
And we're trying to record the best show on earth here.
Noah
I'm getting my headache with these flashing lights.
Ria
The alarm said, we don't want to hear Noah's story.
Noah
Okay, I'll just tell it. Even though it's still flashing. Kind of makes it dramatic.
Ria
They announced that they were doing tests in the building today.
Fran
Should we do this again? The floor. The floor is yours.
Noah
Okay, we'll be recording. So you guys were in la. So we were recording remote, and we woke up that morning. We're supposed to. What Day was this two days ago. Our flight was immediately. First of all, the LaGuardia thing happened obviously terrible, you know, so LaGuardia was shut down. We anticipated there might be some delay, so we Woke up to 67 minute delay to be exact. We're like, oh, great, we're recording. You know what? We're just gonna power through. Power through. And then people might skip this anyway. So it's like, does the fire alarm even matter?
Ria
So you're gonna have to cut the fire alarms out anyways. Just keep.
Noah
Yeah. So basically, if you're watching on YouTube, it is kind of dramatic. Like, you see a flashing light.
Ria
Yeah, yeah, you definitely see the flashing light.
Noah
So while we're recording, in the middle of recording, get the notification our flight was canceled. So, you know, you guys are still talking. And then like, when we pause, I'm like, flight was canceled. So we're like, great. Trying to get. So we get booked on another flight to JFK. So we were supposed to go to LaGuardia. Way closer, way better airport than JFK. And, you know, we're just gonna keep going. And my ADD is really. I'm testing it right now,
Fran
so I
Ria
should have brought out my timer, so.
Noah
Well. Yeah. Okay, so book on jfk. We finished the episode. So I'm kind of like, my legs shaking like it is now. Like, come on, guys. Like, we got to get to the airport. Because everyone's been posting, you know, just TSA in general. Like, especially JFK has been one of those where it's like, don't even try. Like, you know what? Don't even fly to where you're going unless it's an emergency. Like, you're. The lines are out of the airport. Also, JFK takes at least an hour to get there from where we are. So my ETA once I get in the Uber, it says I'm gonna get there like 20 to 30 minutes before boarding starts. So in my mind on the way, there was like, there's zero chance. So I thought, you know what? Like, if I start posting about on my story and make it kind of a joke, then if it gets canceled, it'll be. It'll be more funny and I'll be less actually angered by content content. So, like, I'll be. Cause I'll be like, oh, I told you I didn't make it. And then it's like, whatever. So I. You know, it's hard to explain. You had to see the story to really get.
Ria
And if you're watching real, you should save it all as, like a highlighter
Noah
yeah, maybe I' put it up as a highlight. You know what? I'll put up as a highlight.
Ria
A highlight.
Noah
You know, people.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
And. But I will say the people who watch in real time, there's nothing like it. They were telling me.
Fran
Noah texted me. Noah texted me on the side. And he goes, I'm honored, Annie. Letterman thinks my story is funny.
Noah
Listen, there were a lot of people. Like, I don't. I don't know if, like, you know, I don't want to out anyone, but like, maybe they're. They're silent admirers of mine, but.
Ria
Well, not so.
Noah
Not so silent, you know, like.
Ria
Like they're liking your stories.
Noah
Matt Quinn, famous singer of Mount Joy, called. Called it legendary. Like, I'm just saying, like, there were.
Fran
Joey Grassaday.
Noah
Joey Crosby is always my DMs. But there were people. There are a lot of people, you know, like, applauding it. And it was just. I think it was the storytelling. It was like the 20 minutes in between are like, what's. People were like, what happened? Are you there?
Ria
Like, what's Craig's line?
Fran
I'll give you the credit storyteller.
Noah
And I'm a. Oh, yeah, I'm a lawyer.
Ria
I'm a lawyer in a story now. Yeah. What does he say?
Noah
I'm a storyteller. What is it?
Ria
Anyway, that's, you know, I. I did
Fran
stop when I was all your stories and out loud said, these are really funny.
Noah
And I was, you know, you'll see it if you go to my highlight, which will be up. No, Ives, don't worry.
Ria
By the time this episode comes out, the highlight will be made.
Noah
But I was, you know, like, mixing in the. I was drawing some parallels to the Justin Timberlake thing. You just. It's hard to explain. But you had to be there. You had to see it. Posting pictures. It is pretty.
Ria
It is pretty hard to explain.
Noah
And so I got there, he's on a tour.
Fran
Hard to explain.
Noah
Wow. I didn't even see that. That just comes out of me. I don't.
Fran
It's hard to explain.
Noah
Got to the. That the story was funny, but I got to the thing and I was like, kind of accepted defeat, but I checked my bag. That's infuriating, by the way. What? You know, like, when you're just like, why is it taking you out of CVS line? It's like, why is it taking you 20 minutes to check out? I go up there and it takes 30 seconds. Like, people just, you know, so it's baffling. So I Was. And so it took a while. When I got there, the TSA line wasn't that bad. Like, it was bad, but it wasn't crazy. Once I checked the equipment, I turn around, it's literally out the airport. So I go to the.
Fran
I'm just laughing at you're. Honestly, you are giving dramatics, and I'm eating this story up.
Noah
So I go to the lady at the front and I.
Ria
What terminal were you in?
Noah
This was the American Airlines terminal. And jfk, which is eight. Terminal eight, if you see it on the highlight, I posted Terminal 8 when I pull up. So I was really, like, every step of the way. Here we go. And I go to the lady with, like, puppy dog eyes. I'm like, my flight's boarding in 20 minutes. Like, is there any. I literally said, is there anything you can do to help?
Fran
Say it. How? Say it to me as if I'm her. And how exactly you asked.
Noah
I'm like, hey, like, my flight. Like, my flight's boarding in 20. Like, could you. Like, is there anything you could do?
Fran
Like, I envision this. This is exactly that. By the way, this is exactly how you said it.
Ria
I know 12 likes that.
Fran
He's 1,000%.
Noah
Like, I don't know. Like, please. And then she's like, I gotta stop saying, like, now that you point that out. She just takes one look at me, and it's like, mm, yeah, okay. And just motions me, like, come with me. Then this other lady tries to, like, hop in on my escort train. Like, on the escort. And the lady, his personal hand to her face being like, wait, back there. You cannot come in here. She's like, no, but I'm. And she's like, no, I will come back for you.
Fran
She hit her with a mind your business.
Noah
And I was like, hey, I'm with you. So. But she basically just let me cut up until where it's supposed to start, which is had to be at least 52, 100 people that I cut. Whatever and
Fran
suckers, Whatever.
Noah
So then I'm just stuck in the line. And at that point, I was like, you know what? Maybe I have a shot. I don't know. I could actually see Sarah and Maddie, like, up. I was shocked that they were still. They got there so much earlier than me, and I saw them. But at that point, you know, I texted him, like, hey, just in case I make it, could you get me a snack and a water for the plane? Maddie did. I gave her a choice of pretzels and Doritos. Then I got through and you know what's weird? I was just kind of, like, I had already accepted a feat, like, I said. So when I put. When I'm putting, like, my stuff through the scanner, what do they call it? Yeah, scanner. This guy is like, hey, man. Like, I'm boarding right now. Like, do you mind? And for some reason, I was like. Like, if he cuts me, I'm like, yeah, go ahead. Like, I don't know why I let him. I'm like, I was boarding, too, but. And then.
Ria
So one person.
Noah
It was one person. But then I go, what if he gets held up? And that's a thing. Like. And I thought I had every camera battery met. I'm like, I'm gonna get pulled. God. Maybe there is a God, because my stuff just went through. Then I decided, all right, I'm gonna run to the gate now, get a good airport, run in. I'm running, and this guy's running next to me. He goes. The guy who cut me, he's like, wait, when's your. When's your flight? I'm like, it's. It's morning now. And he kind of was like, oh, like, sorry. Like, I wouldn't have got. I'm like, it's fine. And he. He. I kind of empowered him to run.
Fran
And. Are you running next to him?
Ria
No.
Noah
No. And I was also like this because I was filming myself. I almost ran into something. I almost took someone out.
Ria
Was the run necessary or for dramatic effect?
Noah
Like, it was. I mean, I didn't know how far the gate was at that point, so I'm like, let's go.
Ria
How long?
Fran
And it's miles.
Ria
You were waiting. Sarah's telling me you were waiting at the gate for a little bit before you boarded it. It's not like you sprinted onto the plate.
Noah
Here's the thing.
Ria
You're spoiling his story.
Noah
I was running. Cause first of all, I don't know. I don't know what's going on. And I'm in a full sprint. I'm running up the escalator, and this guy was walking, and then he saw me running up the escalator, or he was just gonna stand on the. He saw me run. He starts running back. I was, like, starting a movement. Like, it's okay, guys.
Ria
Everybody, if. Hey, if you got to get to
Noah
your gate, you got to go. And, you know the people standing on the wrong side of escrow, like, excuse me. Excuse me. Like, running by them. And then, yeah, I. I sprinted for however long. It wasn't, like, insanely long. I showed up, essentially, as the zone one was boarding. So I'm, like, out of breath standing there, like, looking for Sarah, Maddie. Like, where are they? They weren't even there. They're, like, at Starbucks.
Ria
Like, they're like, look, we have plenty of time. We're not worried. And then we didn't break a sweat, and we got a coffee.
Noah
Yeah, you know, I'm like, a Delta. We're all Delta people. So I don't really fly other airlines that much. So, you know, I kind of get a little leeway with my status sometimes.
Ria
Really fly other airplanes, honestly.
Noah
One of my, like, hidden talents, I will say, and I think Sarah and Maddie can attest to this, is knowing exactly when to get in line for your zone. But it's not when they call your zone. It's before you look for the last person. You're like, that's definitely the last person. Zone two. Like, I can spot them.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
And then we get behind them, and then when they call the zone, I am already. Next up. It's a risk because you don't want to have the awkward, like, you're trying to go in a different zone. I'm usually pretty good with this here. I was like, I just. I just had quite the experience. I'm just getting in line. Like, I thought I was going to do it. So I was. I think we were zone eight, which I was like, how are there that many zones? Like, that's crazy.
Ria
There's that many zones for Delta.
Noah
I wouldn't know. I'm by my status, you know? But it was zone seven, and I know it was the end of zone seven. So I'm like. I literally turned to them. I'm like, I dare her to, like, not let me in when I'm Zone 8, and it's the end of Zone 7 and she isn't calling Zone 8. I go up to the front. She's like, it, like, went red, and she's like, we're only boarding Zone seven. Like, basically, like, pointed me out, and I just basically, like, sighed and walked out of and stood on the side. And then. Cause in my mind, I was like,
Ria
rarely do you see that happen rarely. Because, like, sometimes Delta.
Fran
No, Delta doesn't. Delta doesn't care.
Ria
They're like, no, they don't care.
Noah
Whatever. But I thought about, like, saying something like, snarky. But I. In my mind, I thought, everyone behind me is zone eight. She's gonna look so dumb when everyone behind me is also zone eight. The three people behind me were zone seven. So I was like, Fuck. But then she called Zone 8, like 30 seconds after that happened. And I kind of was like. Like, I gave her one of those, like. Here you go. You happy? You feel good about yourself after doing that?
Fran
Oh, my God. No, not my hat. Erin. Holy shit.
Noah
Oh, my God. This is like. Like when you see the old lady.
Ria
Yeah, we've all been hatfished.
Noah
Oh, my God. It's hideous.
Fran
I can't breathe. I cannot breathe. Ah, my eyes.
Ria
My eyes.
Fran
Put it back.
Noah
Jesus.
Ria
I can't breathe. Quick, put it back on.
Fran
I can't fucking breathe. I am. For the people listening. I am wearing such a.
Noah
The world's biggest hat.
Fran
I'm wearing such a large hat right now that it's the only hat that I have. I bought it in la. Cause I didn't have a hat. And it's the only one that I. That I had. I put it on. And my hair. I haven't. I haven't washed it. Sorry.
Ria
I'm just like, the context of you being like, I got at the hotel Cause I didn't have a hat. It's like, what you mean?
Fran
Sorry. No, I need a hat because we were sitting in the sun and I wanted to shade my face and.
Ria
Shade. Shade.
Noah
I thought you said shave there for a second.
Ria
I wanted to shave my face, dude.
Fran
My mustache is growing in and I haven't washed my hair since Monday. Which is not gross to me, by the way, that I wanted to get that out of the way. Like, my hair can last a long time. You could easily go home and I wash my body multiple times a day. So whatever. I don't need to give my background of showering. But the way that my hair looks right now is so insane that when we were in the bathroom earlier and you were in the stall and you heard me, like, laughing at myself in the mirror, it was because I took my hat off and the way that my hair was so flat to my head was so scary, I started laughing. So the fact that my hat just fell off and you guys saw me like this, I feel like. I feel like you guys have seen me naked.
Ria
He's the most. Without your shell. Literally.
Fran
Oh, my God. Okay, sor.
Noah
I mean, no, we were. We're pretty much at the end here. So then I, you know, got through after I gave her a little, like.
Fran
So you're.
Noah
You're.
Ria
You're a jerk to the gate?
Noah
No, I mean, I think most people would say she was a jerk to me. Like.
Ria
Well, you were.
Fran
You were rule stickler.
Noah
Like, come on.
Fran
You know Literally her job.
Noah
Her job. She knows zone eight. She knows what I'm doing. She knows that zone eight is 10 seconds away.
Ria
This is a crazy hill to die on. I think it is. There were multiple group 7 people left, so she's really just doing her job.
Fran
I'll tell you what's going on until
Ria
it's time for Group 8 to board.
Fran
I'll tell you what's going to happen in titles. Yeah, he's in a goofy mood right now. And so he's going to. Later on tonight, he's going to. He's going to text us and be like. He's going to text us and be like. Do you guys think that that came across too entitled? No.
Noah
You're saying killed that. Ah, we shouldn't. We shouldn't post that anymore. No, but you were saying the other how I. Because I told Haley, the makeup artist. I don't know if I need to specify that anymore, but just for anyone who wouldn't know who. Yeah, yeah.
Fran
Background.
Noah
But you're a storyteller. I just like to give context. Painting a picture.
Ria
Paint the picture.
Fran
You are painting it.
Ria
You're painting the picture.
Noah
Which I do everywhere we go to Sarah, Maddie, because I'm always a higher zone status again, I take them with me. I go there with me today with Sarah, Maddie and Jackie. I said, they're with me. Because otherwise they would probably have to check their bags.
Fran
Like, that's really nice of you.
Noah
They wait, like, that's nice of you. And I don't know if everyone knows that's a thing.
Fran
Like, we had no idea. And Haley told us you're a higher
Noah
zone and you're with people. They can come with you.
Fran
Haley told us that and she said, Noah told me this and we said, what? Noah's been doing this. We had no idea.
Noah
Hey, I'm just a man of the people.
Fran

Noah
And then, you know, I sat down on the plane, got my pretzels, and then had a lovely talk with a Hasidic Jew. For the whole flight.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
And he told me the entire story about Passover. You know, where he was headed. Did I tell you? No, because I was trying to switch the conversation off of, like, I felt like I was back in Hebrew school. So I'm like, trying to just. So where are you going? And he goes, fiji. And I was like, fiji? And he's like, yeah, I'm going to Fiji. And then I'm going to Sydney from Fiji. And I'm like, wow, like, that's fun. And he was kind of like, well, you know, like, it was a work trip type thing, like Passover, I'm sure, like, the whole thing. But. But yeah, it was quite, quite.
Fran
Did you tell him you went to Fiji?
Noah
I did. I said, oh, the people are really nice there.
Fran
And did you teach him bula?
Noah
I was going to, but no, I didn't. He was. It was a layover. So he's like, I hope I have a little time. But yeah. And it was one of those things where I let him charge.
Ria
Oh, he just had a layover in Fiji.
Noah
Yeah. But he said he might have enough time to, like, see it a little bit, but I doubt it. But he. Originally, the contact started because he didn't have the right charger for the plane thing. So he's like, can I plug it into your laptop? I was editing, always working.
Fran
He asked to plug it into your laptop.
Noah
It did feel like a weirdly, like.
Fran
Because intimate type thing that is.
Noah
It is personal. It felt personal. So I. I hesitated. I was like, yeah, yeah. Because, you know, you're one of us.
Fran
Well, because if you plug your phone into your laptop, it can put your information in.
Noah
I know. And I. I know.
Fran
And vice versa.
Noah
Well, I was worried, like, is he gonna hack into my computer?
Fran
I absolutely would have thought that.
Noah
But I, you know, I was like, no, he's. He's.
Fran
Yeah.
Noah
No, he was reading, like, the Torah.
Ria
The whole thing pops up that says, do you want to trust this device?
Fran
And you write, no, no.
Ria
Yeah. No, that way it just charges.
Noah
But, but he was charging like he was, he was taking my juice like half the flight. Right?
Fran
Because then it takes the juice out.
Noah
I know. So then, so then, yeah, but, but
Ria
you can plug in your laptop.
Noah
But I don't want, It's a whole thing. And it's like, like I had a resound and like, and you're trying to
Fran
edit the best show on earth.
Noah
I was editing the best show on earth.
Ria
I want to.
Noah
Here's the thing. It's like, well, I would have been a solution. I don't have to take out the car. The laptop to the ground. The laptop charges are so heavy.
Ria
Laptop charger out of my.
Noah
No, no. Like they fall out of the outlet. Cause they're so heavy. It's like a whole thing. But they do, they do that once the flight attendants come through with the drinks. So we like, I have my headphones out. I'm like, hey, you mind like taking it out now? Like, I don't want you to like drain all my battery. And he was like, oh, no problem.
Fran
You asked him that?
Noah
Yeah, yeah. I mean, I, I, it was a while. He took a lot of my juice.
Fran
I'm eating this story up.
Noah
No, he took it. Took a lot of my juice.
Ria
I had a lot of balls on this trip.
Fran
Yeah, really?
Noah
And then big horness.
Fran
Uh huh.
Noah
I mean he had some cojones asking me, can I plug into your computer?
Fran
He answered me, let me tell you. Absolutely. That is, I would never ask a stranger if I could plug into that.
Noah
But I'm also like, he didn't check his phone once the whole flight. He was reading the Taurus. I'm like, why do you even need
Fran
your phone charging up for Fiji? Okay, continue.
Ria
So then maybe you didn't have an adapter.
Fran
Right.
Noah
By the way, by the way, I wasn't mad. Like, you know, he's a member of the tribe, so.
Fran
And also this is dramatics for the story, but continue.
Noah
Yeah, you know, we are embellishing a little bit. Not really though.
Fran
You're not embellishing.
Noah
It did feel like that in the moment, but I did think about it for like a minute or two before I did it. Like I got to tell this guy, like, because at some point, like, was he ever going to take it out? Or if he's like, I'm going full and then I'm going to stay on full. Like if he hit 100, was he going to stay connected right and be like, I don't even want to, like, go drop to 98.
Fran
Like, I saw my laptop with a full. With the full charge that is killing me. Is he gonna charge full?
Noah
Yeah, like, I think he was. I don't. He wasn't dead either. He said he was, but then I'm like, you're not. I see your phone's on. It was probably, like, 20. You get to, like, 50 maybe, but he probably got to, like, 60. Charges are pretty fast these days. I don't know. I don't know.
Fran
Okay, continue, continue. So you said.
Noah
So then, like, I say that. He goes, oh, like, of course. Took it out. And he had just ordered a soda. And while he's getting the soda, he's like, looks at me with one of these. He's like. Like, kind of like a Larry David type thing. Like, looking at me. He goes, are you Jewish? And I'm like, so? So I'm proud to be Jewish. Don't get that wrong. If I get stopped on the street in New York, which happens sometimes, like, those guys are. It's. Every religion has people trying to preach to people or whatever. Honestly, the Jewish guys, they're not even trying to convert you. They just want to find fellow Jews and, like, talk about being Jewish or, like, whatever it is, or, like, give you stuff, which is nice, but, like, I'm in a hurry always, like, don't. Don't come up to me on the street. So when they say that on the street, I. I, a lot of times will be like, no, I'm not Jewish, because I don't even want to. Like, I'm like, they're probably like, he really looks Jewish. But I'm like, no, because I don't want to have a conversation. It's a whole thing.
Fran
Well, can't you just say, like, yes, but I'm in a rush?
Noah
No, no, because they try. They're like, wait, one second, one second. This is what this guy did. He.
Ria
So he was like, announcing his faith.
Noah
No, I'm not. That's. That's the thing I don't want your
Fran
mother gonna do when she hears this.
Noah
Well, my mom's only half Jewish. If we're being honest, she didn't even get bat mitzvahed. I'm kind of blowing up her spot here.
Ria
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Noah
My dad is 100. But anyways, so when he did that, when I said yes, his eyes lit the up. He was like, really? And then he tried to start convince me, can I do this prayer for you? Like, it'll Connect you closer to God. And I was like. Like, no. Like, no. Like, I was trying to be very nice. And I think Sarah said she heard it too. Like, yeah, like. Like. Like, I'm all for it and everything, but I'm not really that religious. And, like. Like, no. Like, I'd rather not. And he's like, it'd be quick.
Ria
Everybody needs to, you know, respect their respect.
Fran
Yeah, but he had this, like. He had this, like.
Ria
And levels and boundaries. Yes, that's very nice for you, sir, but I'm okay.
Fran
Yes, but please, like, I'm minding my business.
Noah
By the way you're reading. Like, I don't know if it was a tour, but it was Hebrew. Like, out loud on the plane. Like, it was like. Not loud, but he was like. Like that.
Fran
So you could hear it kind of under.
Noah
He might have been practicing for, like, whatever thing he was doing in Australia, work thing. It wasn't. I have a noise canceling here. It's fine. But he was trying to talk. So then he orders a soda, and I go, it was a soda that I don't really usually see. You know, we're on a different airline. So I'm like, you know what? I'll have that one, too. And they go, that was the last one. And I'm like, oh, it's fine. I'll get this one. And he goes, have mine. And I'm like, no, it's fine. He's like, no, please, please, like, he's like, give me. I'm like, no, it's fine. I didn't even know that was an option until you ordered it.
Fran
He seemed like a kind guy.
Noah
Very kind guy. Very kind guy. What happened was then I didn't really talk to him. We land, take my headphones out, pack my bag, we're at the back of the plane because I don't have any status, so I'm, like, at the very back of the plane. I'm not used to this. I'm not used to, like, this deboarding, taking so long.
Ria
Please, let's not forget the no status on American. On Delta, it would have been a different story.
Noah
Usually I'm off the plane pretty quickly, but this round, like, oh, man. Like, this is a long way. And I should have kept my headphones in, but honestly, he probably would have talked to me anyway, because he kind of looked back at me like. So, like, basically went back to, like, can I? Can I? Are you sure? Like, can I do this? Like, he literally kept saying it. It'll take two minutes. It'll Take two minutes. And I'm like, like, no, like. Like, I. I respect it. And, like.
Ria
But just.
Noah
But just know. And he's like, but honestly, like, the sun is setting, and it's like, it's a perfect time to do it. Like, out the window. It was actually nice. Like, it was a nice orange.
Fran
Did you think about it for a second when you looked at the sunset?
Noah
No, it crossed my mind multiple times. But I just go, there's no way it's only going to take two minutes. Like, there's just no way. Like, I exaggerate, like, all the time. Like, that's just what we do.
Fran
Yeah.
Noah
Like, that's just. That's just kind of our thing. So I'm like, it's not going to take two minutes.
Ria
I think this story originally was supposed
Fran
to do two minutes.
Noah
Yeah, I mean, I said, this is going to take.
Fran
By the way, we're not going to do topics today, because this took up the majority of.
Ria
I think we've been recording for at least 30 minutes.
Noah
No, no. Yeah. I think this has been at least, like, 20, 25 minutes. So that proof.
Fran
And by the way, I've actually thoroughly enjoyed this.
Ria
But no, honestly, I feel like I met. I feel like I met no Ives Comedy Hour.
Fran
Me, too. He's crushing it. You're killing it.
Ria
This is.
Fran
This is not a tight five. This is a long 30, and you're crushing it.
Ria
This is no Ives comedy Hour.
Fran
Yeah. And it's better than the first story you told. Story?
Noah
Even with Trent and you guys, when we went to San Francisco.
Fran
San Francisco, Yeah.
Ria
That's always some sort of travel that
Fran
wasn't filled with jokes. This one, that.
Noah
Yeah.
Fran
Interesting. It could be a movie. You could write a whole movie about this.
Noah
Maybe I should. Maybe I should.
Fran
But he did seem like a kind guy.
Ria
But it is.
Fran
It is like a boundary thing where it's like, no, I already told you. No, like, please. Yeah, yeah.
Noah
It's like, I get it. I get it. But. So then he goes, well, you know the story of Passover, right? Like, and he was asking me. He goes, so, are you celebrating Passover in Dallas? I'm like, no, I'm going for work. I'm going back. He's like, asked me questions. He's like, does your. Your family have good matzah? I'm like, they. They got the best matzah. I go, that's when I finally was like, you know what? I love matzah. I will say that. I love Ma. He's like, oh, good. I'm like, we got good matzah. Don't worry. Like, that's one thing I know, because he was kind of like. There were points where I felt like he was testing me. I felt like I was back in Hebrew school where I'm like. He kept saying things where I'm like, I don't. I don't even know what you're saying. Like. So then he's like, well, you know this story.
Ria
Just trying to gauge where you land, you know?
Noah
And he. I felt bad because I did. I was doing this thing where he's talking here, and I'm like, this, like, looking up at the aisle. Like, kept kind of, like, looking. And I was kind of looking at Sarah, too, because I'm like, she's hearing all this. And I, like, knew that she was. She took a picture. Like, I was like. It was hard to not like. So he saw it. He goes. He goes, let me just tell you one more thing, because I can tell that you're like. He said that. He's like, I can tell that you're, like, looking in the eye. So I felt bad. I felt bad, but it was hard to not. Because I'm like. I don't even know what's going on right now. Yeah, I feel like. So he goes, well, you know the story of Passover. And I'm like, I got the gist of it, you know? And he goes, let me tell you. Like, it'll be quick. Wasn't quick. He tells me the whole story of Passover. And I. I was. That's where I'm back in school. And I'm like. My brain just, like, I'm not taking anything in, but I'm just nodding.
Ria
Like, I said, that wasn't. Wasn't nice at all.
Noah
No, I took some of it in, and it was good. And you're talking about Egypt and how, like, in, like, the meaning of it and everything. And I took some of it in, like, if you ask me now, like, maybe, like, give you some little.
Fran
We're not going to test you.
Noah
No, we're not.
Ria
But just, you know, in the moment,
Noah
you just think it's about, like, getting the darkness out of you, like, and, like, they got the darkness out of, like, something like that. And. Yeah. And then, you know, like, he. He was asking me about where, like, you know, New York. He was like, oh, you live in New York? Have you been to Brooklyn? I'm like, I know there's. There's a lot of us in Brooklyn, like, certain spots, Mike. There's a lot of us but you know, that was pretty much it. We were trying. I was trying to switch the topic to more of like what he asked me what I do. I was like, my video producer just kept it at that. And he was like, oh, very cool, very cool. And then whenever people like that, I'm like, I feel. It doesn't feel as noble as what you're doing. But that was kind of it. Then, you know, finally got to us. And I'm like, hey, man, happy Passover. Keep on doing the job. The Lord's work. I don't know. I don't think we call Lord, keep on doing the work of.
Fran
You should have listened to him.
Noah
And. Yeah, but I think it was funny because, like, everyone behind us is just standing there and I'm like, happy Passover, man. Like, like, they're probably like, what just happened? But he walked off the plane and got off the plane and made it to Dallas. Made it to Dallas after all that? After this 25 minute story that I said was gonna take five minutes. So that's pretty much where it ends. Unless you wanna hear what happens. Got to the hotel.
Fran
I'm just kidding.
Noah
Went to a nice dinner.
Fran
Check into part two on the highlights.
Noah
Part two. Went to the hotel. Recreated my. When I met Derek Trucks of my Tedeschi Trucks band.
Fran
Yes.
Noah
I don't know if we ever talked about that. Met him at this hotel in Dallas last time.
Fran
We definitely did.
Noah
I recreated the handshake and.
Fran
But yeah, thank you for just recreating it right there as well.
Ria
No celebrity sightings this time around for you. And then in that.
Fran
Just himself.
Ria
Yeah, just himself when he was looking in the mirror.
Noah
Yeah. Yeah. But that, that was. That was it. I don't know how much else I got. That took a lot out of me, that story.
Ria
That's so fair. We had a lovely time in Dallas as well. Once we got to Dallas.
Fran
Yeah, we'll keep it short.
Noah
That's just the start of our trip. Yeah, we got so much else.
Fran
That was the start.
Ria
We got in. We got in later that night. But no, Dallas was great. We had such a fun show. Cool venue, really cool green room. I love, like, that felt like a rock star green room, which is always fun. Carl and Jesse were great. So we had a blast. We had a great time. It was a really fun show.
Fran
To the lovely listeners of Dallas who came to the show were ones who didn't make it. Thank you guys so much for supporting us. Amazing signs last night. They were so funny. But we really did have such a good time. In Dallas. It was such a great show. So thank you guys for. For coming. And, you know, we would tell our airport story, but I just don't think we have enough time.
Ria
I don't think we have enough time, and I just don't think it'll be as funny.
Fran
Yeah, it wouldn't live up.
Noah
So you guys are just having. In the lounge, it seemed.
Fran
No, I meant our. Our landing in Dallas. But it's fine. We can save it for another time. We'll save it for another time. And nothing's going to live up to that. And we had such a good.
Noah
So many people are so mad right now. Like, why the fuck do we just listen to Noah for 30 minutes and then.
Fran
No, ours is not.
Noah
I guess we don't have time on our own podcast.
Fran
Really short. Like, I think there's somebody scamming people in airports, and we've now seen them at two airports in. In the last two weeks. Like, we have seen this person multiple times.
Ria
It's crazy.
Noah
Totally different airport sense to me because he's. He's spending money like, he's losing money going to different airports.
Ria
We don't understand the scheme. We don't know the inner workings of the scheme. All we know is it's a scheme, because this is. We saw him in the Seattle airport, literally at the gate. And we saw him, the Dallas airport, at baggage claim. You know, his. He missed his flight. He needs help, cash, stay in a hotel. He said the exact same amount of 109 plus $9. And people bring out big wads and big. And they're giving him all this cash, big bills. I was in the bathroom. I came out. I heard his voice. I looked over at. My jaw hit the floor.
Fran
I said, oh, my God.
Ria
It's the same guy that was just in Seattle last week.
Fran
We were bugging out. And then I started looking around at everyone. I started looking at people going, no, no, guys, guys. Like, I was panicking. I was like, guys, no, no, no. Like, I was trying to explain the story. I was like, we just saw him in Seattle last week. It was the same exact script. No one was believing us. They looked at me like I was crazy.
Ria
We became the craziest because they were
Fran
like, that's so rude. You're gonna say this guy's a. But we were like, we just saw him in Seattle. And then, yeah, somebody else we know saw him in Chicago. So it's now been three airports now.
Ria
And when I tell you he. He collected that big collection of cash, like I said, big bills. He, I'm sure, exceeded the amount of money that he was asking for. And then he hightails it out of there fast. All of a sudden he's there, he gets all his cash, then he's gone.
Noah
Gone the doors off to the next city.
Fran
Yeah, I think he's just like turning around, going back in the terminal and getting on another flight to another city.
Noah
He' me, if you can.
Fran
Right.
Ria
Or it's like, yeah, I guess some airports he goes into, because in Seattle we saw him at the gate, but you know, baggage claim. Realistically, he could just drive to any airport I might claim.
Fran
Don't.
Noah
Like at the airport.
Fran
Don't, don't.
Ria
It's really, it's really unbelievable.
Fran
We were, we were stunned.
Ria
We were. It was also like 12:30am so we're, we're a little delirious. It was a long day and. And then. And we heard that. We were like, oh, my God, this guy, this guy is back.
Fran
No, I had to take a lap because I was gonna. I thought I was entering like psychosis. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no. You can't tell me that this same exact person in the Seattle airport is now in the Dallas airport having the same spiel in front of our faces. Are we real right now?
Ria
The same outfit?
Fran
No, I was like, are we real right now? That's what it felt like.
Ria
It did feel like we were somewhat in a simulation.
Fran
Yeah, it was in. It was, it was.
Ria
Carousel broke. Jammed for a little bit. So there's a delay in bag. So there was like multiple groups, multiple airplanes waiting to get there to get their bags. It was crowded and people were like talking to themselves. Lady was having a hot flash next to us and she took off her flannel and then just started laughing maniacally, like to herself.
Fran
Yeah, that was me.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
I was gonna say that kind of sounds like something really.
Ria
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Noah
We were just.
Ria
We were really all over the place.
Noah
We were.
Ria
It was really all over the place.
Fran
It was quite the adventure.
Ria
But no, we had. We did absolute blast in Dallas. So that was, that was fun. Felt like, you know, felt a great show. Thank you to all the lovely, great signs listeners. Great signs. We had two lovely ladies gift us T shirts.
Fran
Yes.
Ria
Were so awesome. We were laughing because they're the, you know, like the hype up T shirts where. What are they called?
Fran
Like, fan T shirts. Where it's like, yeah, yeah. Who you're a fan of, like with. With all the faces on it, the
Ria
name and big Lars on the top and Then all the faces. And Rhea got one of Matt, and I got one of Olla.
Noah
It's one of these.
Ria
Yeah.
Fran
Oh, yeah. You have it at Andy. I laughed really hard because for Christmas we do, like, Secret Santa in my family. And my cousin's fiance got Matt, and she got Matt a shirt with my name on it with all pictures of me. And it was so funny. And we were like, oh, well, I gotta get one one day. And then there and then I got it. I was so excited. But even funnier that you got Olive and not Joe.
Ria
Yes. Yep, yep, yep. I know you're cracking up. Which. That really made me giggle. But Joe was like, oh, my God, that shirt's so sick about. About olive too. And you know who had my friends, my very large group of friends do a Secret Santa as well. And my friend that had me wanted to get me an olive T shirt like that, but it wasn't gonna come in time. She ended up getting me, like, a little dog scrapbook. That was really, really cute. But ever since then, I was like, oh, I gotta get one of these.
Fran
Yeah. So sick shirt.
Ria
Yeah. Yeah. That was really, really cool. Very, very thoughtful, which is so nice. Just really. We get to meet the. The nicest people.
Fran
We really do.
Ria
So sweet.
Fran
We have the nicest, coolest listeners.
Ria
Yeah, we just. We just had a lot of. We had a lot of fun in Dallas, and we're really excited to be in Boston on Tuesday. It's gonna be a great show. First time doing the Wilbur, which is surprising considering how many shows we've done in Boston. But we felt like this was a good time to do it. We're excited to do. Feels really. I'm really excited to do the Wilbur.
Fran
I don't know.
Ria
It's just like. Yeah, yeah. And so many people we work with have done it, so it just feels like it was a good time to do it. And very excited for Ariel Keppel to be our guest.
Fran
Yes. I cannot wait for Arielle to be our guest. Gonna be so fun. Cause we had so many more things that we wanted to ask her.
Ria
So much fun.
Fran
And I feel like she is filled with am amazing stories. So that's gonna be amazing. And if you're. You're in Boston Tuesday night and you haven't gotten tickets yet, tickets are still on sale, so come see us. All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We got Jesse from Mormon Wives on call her daddy. New 13 going on, 30 movies coming out. Emily Bader and Logan Lerman have been cast. And it Looks like there's maybe some rumblings of Maura Higgins being the bachelorette. Not sure how true that is.
Ria
I think there's so many rumors now
Fran
of different people and we have a great game of trivia. So let's get into the rest of the episode.

Fran
So Jesse went on call her daddy to talk about her recent announcement of getting a divorce and then went on to explain what has been going on with her and Jordan for these past couple years. And it was not good. She said that she woke up every single day for the last four years wondering if she should get a divorce. Which I mean, my God, like that is just a long time to when
Ria
you've only been married for five.
Noah
Yeah, right.
Fran
For the four out of the five you woke up every day. That is bad, bad news. But people have told her and come to her with stories of Jordan with, with escorts and orgies and, and the whole.
Ria
And that was before the Mars Marciano Stuff. So it's like she protected him from all that. It was like, oh, Jesse's so bad. She, like, kiss Marciano. All these things. Meanwhile, they had problems before that where he was doing weird shit when she was pregnant with their daughter. That's always when they're pregnant.
Fran
It's disgusting.
Ria
The worst type of guy.
Fran
It's really gross. And on top of that, though, like. Like Jesse to have the strength to not open up her mouth when he was giving her so much about Marciano.
Ria
Seriously.
Fran
And to not. And by the way, I don't even know how they stayed together. Like, I. First of all, I don't even know, you know, why or how she would stay with him after escorts and orgies. But that's. I think, you know, Utah the Mormon. Like, it's like, whatever's going on there, they really try to. They really try to stick it out.
Ria
Seriously.
Fran
And, like, that's insane. But. But even after that, with the Marciano stuff, for her to not like it, it requires a tremendous amount of strength to not just be like, oh, what about your escorts and orgies? Like, she's going to be great going forward, and I really hope that for her, because she is really sweet, and I can't believe she's been dealing with just this loser of a husband for so long. She said that no one in her life ever likes, like, family, friends. No one likes him. Nobody likes him.
Ria
Yeah, she said. She kind of joked, like, you know, you don't really expect to announce you're getting divorced, and everyone's like, yay. Like, happy. Not one person in her life liked him, which really says a lot. But she was saying that she did feel kind of bad that people were, you know, making fun of his appearance and things like that. And it's just when he seems to be so vile, everyone does do that. And you look. I saw some comparisons to him that he looks like the koala from Sing. And the appearance is not the only thing those. Those two things have in common, because they probably both have chlamydia, too.
Fran
Ooh, nailed it. Nailed it, nailed it.
Ria
That's a little one for her.
Fran
Yeah. Yeah. We worked on that during the Dallas show.
Noah
We did.
Ria
We worked on that one for the Dallas show. Get it? No, I. Yeah, orgies. Who knows what he was spreading?
Fran
Ugh, God. It's disgusting. But no.
Ria
And you know what? I also really didn't like the whole, like, Pilates thing of it all.
Fran
Mm. What's the deal, Leo, with this?
Ria
Here's the thing. It has become something that we had. That was like a girly girlhood thing. And the fucking men got it and projected it and turned it into this, like, ideal woman thing. The whole Pilates princess thing. It was a fun.
Fran
It was fun for us.
Ria
It was fun for us. And the men got ahold of it and ruined it by turning it into like, well, I want my wife and my girlfriend to be toned and skinny and do Pilates. It's like, no, no, no, no.
Fran
I hate it. I'm like. And it's just.
Ria
The Pilates princess was for us to gab with our girls, grab a little coffee, go to Pilates, wear a cute set, wear a Cusette, not have these guys be like, you gotta do Pilates to be hot.
Fran
Yeah, no, it's. I. Oh, my God, I hate it heated so much. Where are you up in the gym then?
Ria
Jordan, Seriously? Because I see you. We got the, like, after Love is Blind. Now this. Clearly, it's something circulating in this group of guy, this type of guy, this
Fran
type of man who is just like, I, if you're not doing Pilates every
Ria
day, then, yeah, no, I don't like it. I think she. I love what she said about, you know, being a mom. She's a great mom. Her kids are going to be okay. They're. They're going to get through this. The prenup is intact, so he can't take anything from her business. But you should say she's probably gonna have to pay alimony, child support, because, my God, the guy doesn't work. It's been years. He quit, his job, doesn't work. She was saying, you want me to
Fran
hit Pilates every day? Why don't you get a job?
Ria
Right? He's golfing. I guess she was saying that, you know, when he had quit his job, it's because he was traveling so much and filming with the show was hard with the kids. But she was under the impression that, you know, he was gonna try and find it a job local, not. I'm just not gonna work at all. Golfing all the time, obviously, trying to be the leader of dad talk. Just, like, being competitive, trying to get deals and all the, you know, brand deals. Had to have Jesse in it. So it really was so messy and crazy. And I'm so glad she's out of this marriage. So glad she's gonna be so happy. And like she said, she was saying, you know, I don't know if it was a hero, a friend or family member, forget who exactly, but, like, they would look at. Look at what you've accomplished being so held down. You're already so accomplished. Think about all the things you're gonna be able to do now that you are your own free, independent person. So I was like, that is so true. So I'm really excited to see what she does. And she broke my heart a little bit too. Cause she's been very open about the, you know, cosmetic procedures she's done and her insecurities with her appearance and all these things. And she basically was saying, you know, she hasn't felt really any control in. In her relationship. And this was something that she felt like she could have control of and things that she could maybe change to make her happier. And she regrets some of that. She regrets, you know, blindly listening to a doctor and not questioning these things. And I appreciate her being so open and honest about that because it is so popular right now to really be open about those things. And, you know, if you have a regret to share it, not just. And not just hype it up. And a little bit more clarity, sort of the timeline with the Taylor, Frankie, Paul stuff. And that the. The girls had really sort of gotten together and said that they weren't really comfortable filming because they had heard rumors of other allegations that were gonna come out. But they're filming, but they don't know if it's gonna come out or not. So it's like, do you talk about it on camera? What if it never leaked? Like, what if it never comes out? Okay, well, then we're all talking about on the show. So when the show comes out, goes on, it's all gonna come out. So I think they were having a really hard time time balancing what those conversations were gonna be like and having it be authentic. It feels crazy that, you know, Jesse is going through a divorce and having all these moments and the cameras are down for people that share so much of their life on. On reality tv. But I don't know, the. The future of the show seems a little up in the air right now of if they are gonna be able to pick up filming. If they're not, there was another allegation against. Against Taylor. So I'm not. I'm not really entirely sure what's. What's all gonna happen there and what that timeline looks like. You know, it's like, you see, oh, the police are investigating another instance. Like, well, what. You don't know what. What the timeline is.
Fran
Yeah, for.
Ria
For that.
Fran
She also talked about her conversation with Harry Jowsey. She had some DMS with Harry Jowsey. He posted them Yeah, I was getting. Yeah, yeah, that he ended up posting after. And it was just a little back and forth that har. It was. They have shared the same birthday. So she DM'd Harry saying, you know, birthday twin. He sent her a voice note being like, what are you doing? You know, whatever. The way he talks, honestly, very innocent voice notes back and forth of Jesse just be like, I'm doing this. And then Harry being like, this, I'm doing this. And she's like, oh, enjoy. And Jordan took that, ran with it, sent it to himself from another phone saying, oh, your girl's cheating on you. Look at this. Hacked her Instagram, hacked everything. So now she has a whole separate phone number that he does not have, and that she has another phone just to talk to him. And she has to keep it so separated so that he doesn't hack into all of her stuff, which is just so up and such an invasion of privacy in so many ways. And now especially going through a divorce with this man and still being like, oh, my God, how am I going to keep myself, my privacy from him? We're going to be divorced. We're not even married, and he's still going to be trying to keep all these tabs on me. So I'm really rooting for Jesse. I think that her being so open and honest is a really, really great thing. And maybe we'll have people do the. The research and take time to make these decisions before doing any cosmetic procedures, because everyone can fall into that trap of, oh, should I do this? Should I do that? And it's like, you don't have to. If you want to, that's great, and you absolutely should. Everyone should do what they want, but, you know, take those steps, do the research. So I thought this was a great interview, and hopefully we find out more about the filming of Mormon Rive so that we could see this go down. Moving on. While we're on this same topic, we'll talk about the Bachelorette theories. There were theories that they were working on having Layla and Miranda do a joint Bachelorette season, but that has been shut down. I think. Apparently rumors on Dumas say that execs are trying to move away from all of that and they don't want to have the Mormon wives be the Bachelorette, and they're now looking at Maura Higgins.
Ria
Feels like a safe bet to probably stay away from the Mormon wives world for. For now. There's so many rumors about the Bachelorette, it's pretty hard to keep up with what the latest is because I feel like the. The sources are flying. Like, they, they. Like they've never flown before. Their sources here, sources there. Everybody's got a source and everybody's got a friend that's saying something. And there's a rumor that, oh, it could be more. They'll do a live season. That could be so fun. More commented. Eyeball emojis. So that fired up. But I could almost see that going both ways. You could. You could look at an eye, like eyeball emoji as maybe her laughing at something she's not heard one thing about. And it's like, oh, I'll join in the. In on the joke. Or maybe she really is trying to teach something. You're not. Not quite sure. I think she'd be great doing that. But then there was also rumors this week that, like, maybe they could still air her season. It was like, oh, they've. They're. They. They just put it on pause. Everything's being put on pause. And they could. They could put it out at a different time. I don't know. It's all really very interesting. I know Jesse also said that she did that. She does wish people could see Taylor season because as her friend, it felt like this version of Taylor was her real true self and that it was such a great experience for her and, you know, growing experience for her. Which is why the one thing I wish that Alex may have, you know, maybe would have asked her is sort of what they all thought when the season. When she came back from the Bachelorette and you and you guys all started to hear Sheila, what Dakota was going down again. Like, how did you guys all feel about that? Because they've been so. In the whole last season, they. They were trying to pull her away from him doing any. Literally pulling her out of bed to get to film the Bachelorette. And at this point, it's like, yeah, the season's spoiled. So I don't know why that was the reason. You can't. They don't want to talk about it. It's like one. We may never see this. We may never see the season. We probably won't. Felt like the season was spoiled anyway. Everyone was talking about it. Now everyone's really talking about it because they're talking about the guys that were on the season. And also, we know she was having problems with Dakota again and she had already filmed the whole season. So it is true. That's why it is frustrating, I think, when you're like, oh, the Bachelorette was. You're saying the Bachelorette was a Good experience for her. But that's all kind of been washed away. Now.
Fran
I did see rumors that they would, they would maybe think about just airing it on Hulu, just like putting it all out at once or. Because not airing it live on abc,
Ria
a lot of different.
Fran
There's a lot of rumors about that. And I'm also seeing that people are now discussing because when it was going to air, there was such a movement of like, don't air this, don't air this. Yeah, now that's not airing. There's a big movement of oh my God, please air it. So, you know, it's. It is always going to be like a back and forth on, on how people feel on the Internet. But besides all that, I do think Maura Higgins would be such an interesting choice and so fun. Maura is such great TV and I think that it would be such a. Such a switch up and fun to watch her eyeball emojis do make me think that she would be interested and that maybe they are discussing it and if that's the case, then I'm. I'm open to that as well.
Ria
She thinks she would do it.
Fran
Yeah, maybe. Maybe.
Ria
Batiste is the award winning number one dry shampoo brand. It's the number one in the US Number one in the world. It instantly refreshes your hair, absorbs that oil, the grease for a cleaner looking and feeling hair with added volume and texture. It's great on your hair and easy on your wallet. You can get that blowout look without the blowout price. Batiste works better than the next leading competitor in brands that cost up to two times more. It's a cult classic for a reason. All hair types are welcome. I love carrying around a little travel Batiste dry shampoo. Since we've been on the road, whenever I need to do a nice little zhuzh, put it back together. Especially when I do my hair, make a nice blowout for a show and then the next day I want that blowout to still look as good. Just use a little Batiste in the morning and it makes it look like I just did it. You can buy the Batiste dry shampoo online or in store at your nearest retailer.
Fran
Moving on 13 going on 30 is getting a reboot this time with Emily Bader and Logan Lerman taking those lead role spots. I think that this is a movie that does not need to be touched or rebooted. But if we're gonna do it, then I think that this is a great casting.
Ria
This is extremely frustrating because I love this pairing Obsessed with the idea of Emily Bader and Logan Lerman in a rom com. They seem to be really. I feel like they'd be such a good romantic pair. They got the comedy, they got the laughs. I very much see them, I guess, in those characters of this movie. But at the same time, it's like we don't have anything original for these two. We can't get these guys a new script for a romantic comedy. We can't get these guys in a fresh new idea of the two of them. There's a million rom com books that are out there in the world. Find something that hasn't been made into a movie yet and cast these two. I think Jennifer Garner's executive producing, so it's like they're involved in this. But it really does feel like something that doesn't need to be touched in this way. Because even if it is, it's like, is it the exact same story over again?
Noah
But people are saying about the Harry Potter stuff too.
Ria
It's like, Harry Potter is so different.
Noah
But people are. Even that trailer, like, I think it looks good, but it's like it looks exactly like everything's the same. Like it's the same exact story. It's like, well, obviously it's the same to. To tell it, but you're going to be.
Ria
It's like shot for shot more in depth. I. Well, I think the teaser specifically did that for a reason. There's so much more in the books that never made it into the movies. I know, like, Gia's reading the books right now and when we get to these seasons, because they're doing all of them, it'll see. It'll be so different. Like, Gia was so surprised how different Goblet of Fire the book is from the movie. There's so much more in it. The first ones are shorter. Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, they're shorter books. So the movies weren't really like, oh my God, the movies are missing so much. So maybe those first couple seasons could feel very familiar. But as it goes on, there's so much more. And I don't know, to me that's like a giant franchise and that gets remade all the time. There's different versions of superheroes that get made at all the time. There's like that reboot. Those kind of reboots happen. A one off rom com, that's. That's a cherished movie. That was a one off just thing. You have to make the exact same movie. There's only one of them.
Fran
Yeah. I don't see the reasoning for this, but I guess if we think back to like really like long ago. Right. Like the Parent Trap. We think of the original Parent trap being.
Ria
Yeah.
Fran
Lindsay Lohan. There was a Parent trap before that one. So it is funny when we're like, like, oh my God, they're remaking movies.
Ria
There's Star is Born. Yeah.
Fran
A Star is Born. You know, Barbra Streisand, huge star. There's other generations that come after us that will see these movies and go, oh my God, 13 going on 30 was my favorite movie growing up.
Ria
Yeah.
Fran
And then It'll be this 13 going on 30. Not the first one. Very possible.
Ria
I think a lot of times more years have to pass.
Noah
Why not just the first parent 40.
Ria
Yeah. The first parent trap. And this parent, like the first parent trap and the Lindsay Lohan Parent Trap are so drastically different. Different because they're just made in such different times that like the quality of movie is so different.
Fran
Yeah.
Ria
13 on going on 30 wasn't that long ago, what, 20 years. Right.
Fran
Maybe. But I guess now with just like the way like that social media. Yeah, but like social media and technology now is so different that somebody who's 13 going on 30. Yeah. It would be a way different 13 year old. Like maybe they're on AIM or like on. And then. And then they grow up and then they're, you know. Now with Instagram, that might be the angle. I don't know. I'm playing devil's advocate advocate here. I'm trying to think of a way
Noah
that they would make it more the 13 year old. Unless they're like going in.
Fran
No, it'd be, I would think like 13 years ago.
Noah
Yeah.
Fran
Or whatever. And then. Yeah, so the.
Ria
It would be. Yeah, it's. That is true. But at the same time, just track record them doing this. In recent, in the last decade, none of them have been good.
Fran
Good.
Ria
You know, like every time they try and reboot or bring something back or change it, it's like, was this really worth it? Probably not. Like, there's some that I've been. There's some that I've enjoyed with Emily
Fran
Bader and Logan Lerman being cast and Jennifer Gardner executive producing. I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm gonna, you know, I think that there's potential for it, even though I find it to be unnecessary. And I think you're right that there could be other better stories for them.
Ria
Original movie.
Fran
Yeah, an original movie. A book to movie adaptation would be great. But we'll give This a shot and it may be really cute. It may be cute with these two.
Ria
Yeah, I, yeah, I don't know. I just have like it's almost a little bit sometimes of the fatigue. You see the news. It's like, oh come on. Regardless of if it's good or not, you're just kind of like this is the best idea we could come up with is remaking another beloved romantic comedy that people have never once said that they wanted to reboot.
Fran
Yeah, it's reboot.
Ria
Unless there's a part of the Internet that I'm not seeing of a world where they've been fighting to reboot 13 going on 30. I, I, I don't know. I'm sure people have made a cry for like oh, a sequel through the years where it was like actually Jennifer Gardner or Mark Ruffalo. A complete reboot is, is a very different thing. And by the way, just to, because Noah brought it up, the teaser for Harry Potter looks, looks great. I am very excited. The kids are adorable. I can't believe it's coming out this year. I really thought it was going to be like summer, fall 2027. I felt like they just announced that they were in production not that long ago and it seems like the whole thing's done already.
Noah
Are they releasing the whole season at one time?
Ria
I think so.
Noah
That's, that's cool. I wonder like.
Ria
Yeah, I think so. I'm not, I'm not positive. All I know is that it says that it's coming out Christmas day.
Noah
So are these kids like I don't even know the, the, the schedule of like they're shooting like one season at a time or are they like doing it all at once?
Ria
Like, well, they can't do it all at once cuz they have to get older.
Noah
That's kind of crazy that these kids just like signed on to be like for the next however many years. Like.
Ria
Well, it's what, it's what doing this. It's what the three original ones, I guess.
Noah
But they originally when they signed on, I don't think they did. They know like we're like fully locked into like all the movies. Cuz it wasn't. They didn't know if it was gonna be like.
Ria
I think they were told it was a really going to be a really long commitment because, because I think it was. Daniel Rackliff even recently was saying that his mom was skeptical of the project originally because it was such a massive commitment.
Fran
That makes sense.
Noah
They better get a fat paycheck. They're Gonna. This is gonna make so much money.
Fran
Hopefully. Hopefully. Oh, yeah.
Ria
I mean, it's no question.
Fran
Yeah. Someone's gotta fight for these kids. Yeah.
Ria
The whole thing came out new. The HBO original series. Yeah. Just as it premieres this Christmas.
Fran
That's nice. That is a good time for that.
Ria
I saw that that one executive was saying that it may not be every year of release because it does take a while for them to make the show. And then the editing and the special effects, like, they made the comparison to House of Dragon or Game of Thrones. It's like, it's just a hard type of show to turn around that quickly. But then, you know, all the comments were like, you don't exactly have 20 years to work with to make all these. To make every season. Like, you can't have. You can't have this seventh season.
Fran
And the.
Ria
And these kids are, like, 28 to 30 years old.
Fran
So true.
Noah
Like, just filming anything with kids, I feel like, is a challenge because you have all those rules of, like, they can only shoot this many hours or, like, that stuff where that must be.
Ria
Yeah, I look. It seems like they shot the first season pretty quickly, though, I guess, like,
Noah
summer break, they still got to go to school.
Fran
True. Yeah. But even the hours that they can be on set is tricky, so.
Ria
Yeah, definitely.
Fran
I would imagine it takes a bit longer.
Ria
Yeah.
Fran
Well, that's exciting that it is coming this year way sooner than what people thought. And that wraps up today's topics. Last night's Rumhaven cocktail at our show honestly, just hit the spot. Those Friday Energy cocktails at our shows are so delicious, and I love everyone in the crowd coming up to us to tell us how delicious they are. So if you're looking to try them, now is your time. Because the world's too loud, it's too filtered, it's too fake. But not here, not with us. And not we're Rumhaven, where the noise fades and the real comes out. Where you can unbutton expectations and sip on what's true and what's natural. One taste of pure cane sugar and real coconut water lets you feel the difference. That's the best part about Rumhaven is the real coconut water that's involved. Oh, it tastes so good. You could just drink it on ice, or you can mix it with juice, make a cocktail like we do at Friday Energy, and it's all what real tastes like. So open up a bottle, lose a small talk, and find the good vibes. Because the best moments aren't fake. They're simply real rumhaven made for real. All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another game of Beatria and Fran. This is game number 212, and we are joined by Tara and Maddie. They are high school besties, which means they go way back. And if these are throwback questions, they probably watch together. And we're screwed. We are screwed. Ladies, welcome to the show. Thanks for having us. You have a lot of confidence in us, so hope. Hopefully we. Hopefully, we prove ourselves. Well.
Ria
We were just saying to you guys, you. We feel like we've teleported back here, so not quite sure what brain function we're operating at. It's not high. Nope, it's not high. So we'll. We'll see how this goes. But it's 15 questions. If you got the question right, you get the point. If you get it wrong, the other team can steal the point. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. To determine who goes first, Noah's gonna give us a movie. We're gonna guess the Rotten Tomatoes critic score of that movie. Whoever is closest will go first. We get everyone gets their own. Individual guests will alternate between teams for guesses. So, Noah, what is today's movie?
Noah
50 first dates.
Ria
Okay, so one of you. One of you guys guess first.
Fran
I'll go 53%.
Noah
I thought you were gonna say 50 for a second. 51st space.
Ria
Oh, I thought you were just, like, giving away the answer.
Noah
I was like, whoa, crazy. How crazy would that have been?
Fran
So crazy. Yeah, I'm thinking 78. I will go, oh, 64.
Noah
Great Beatles song. When I'm 64, I'm in, like, a kind of goofy mood right now.
Fran
I can tell. I love it. When I walked in the studio, Noah goes, she's here. I said, wow. Whoa. You're happy to see me?
Ria
The rare, silly, goofy Noah. 68.
Noah
53 is the closest. 45.
Fran
Right on the nose there.
Noah
All right, question number one to Tara. Right. Sometimes I. I get really in my head about Tara or Tara.
Fran
You know, I get it all the time. It's terrible. It's a respectful, clarifying question. It is. But I'll say this. I've never met Atara, but I. I do get confused. But anybody. I've always. It's always Tara.
Noah
Yeah. Okay, question number one to you guys. Shadow at Juliana from Boston. In the Jonas Brothers song Montana sky, there are four other states mentioned besides Montana. Name three of them. You guys make Jonas Brothers fans, or.
Fran
I think we're gonna slack on their new stuff. Yeah. My guess would be states out west. Yep. Okay, so let's go around Montana, Denver, Colorado, Colorado, Idaho, and Utah. Final answer incorrect.
Ria
I have no clue. All I can think of is Georgia.
Fran
Georgia, Wyoming, Texas, California.
Noah
Sure.
Fran
Okay.
Noah
Final answer incorrect. Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Virginia.
Ria
Georgia was the only one I could
Noah
remember that seemed to be the most prominent.
Fran
Yeah, when I heard Montana, I just went Wyoming. I don't know.
Noah
I feel if you were gonna guess, you gotta throw in Jersey. Right? Casino.
Fran
You're right. You're probably correct. It's where the brothers are from. That makes sense.
Noah
Zero. Zero. To reinforce number two, shout out Olivia. In season nine of Real Housewives of New Jersey, a psychic told Melissa Gorga something which turned out to be false as it played out through the season. What did she tell her?
Ria
I don't remember this either. No clue.
Fran
I don't know. We'll just say the Joe. The Joe cheated on her. Joe. Joe's cheating.
Noah
Final answer incorrect. Tara and Maddie.
Fran
All right. Have not gotten to. Haven't gotten to season nine of New Jersey. Teresa. I don't know. I got nothing. It would be a silly guess.
Noah
Anything or no?
Fran
No.
Noah
She told her that Melissa. That she had a long lost sister. She didn't. Not ringing a bell. Not ringing a bell. All right, question number three. To Tara and Maddie, shout out Maggie from Yellow Knife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Canada. Name the year the Departed wins the Oscar for best picture. Rihanna releases her song umbrella, and Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling break up
Fran
Umbrella. I feel like we were in middle school. I was gonna say late elementary school. Early middle school. So what? That's. What year did we. 2009? 10. 10. 10 sounds like a good one. I think it is 2010. Maybe I said that. 2010. Final answer incorrect. I think it's 2009.
Ria
Yeah, I think nine as well. I was between eight or nine, but now I'm thinking nine.
Fran
I think nine.
Noah
Yeah. Final answer incorrect. 2007.
Fran
Oh. Oh, never mind. Never mind. The confidence was wrong.
Ria
You know what?
Fran
Yeah, we were all. What are you gonna say? That you thought it was 2007? Was my.
Ria
I knew was my first thought.
Fran
You didn't say that.
Ria
They said 2009. 2010. I went, oh, yeah, that's probably way closer. I thought I was way off.
Fran
Okay.
Noah
Still no answers.
Ria
Yeah. We're crushing this. Okay.
Fran
Have. Hey, have faith.
Noah
Lauren from Fort Worth. Maybe she was at the show last night. I don't know. What actor was in all of these movies? Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest. The second one. Mamma Mia. Goodwill Hunting.
Fran
Penelope Cruz.
Ria
Actor or actress?
Noah
Actor.
Ria
Act.
Fran
Oh, Penelope.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
I will just say now that you said that. Was she in any of those movies?
Fran
No.
Ria
No, actually, no, to be honest.
Noah
Where did that come from?
Ria
She's in none of those.
Fran
He's actually. And none of them.
Ria
All right, wait, what was the middle movie?
Noah
Mamma Mia.
Fran
Oh, Mamma Mia.
Noah
Five seconds.
Ria
Pierce Brosnan, Skarsgard.
Fran
Stella and Skarsgard.
Noah
Correct.
Fran
Way to go. At the buzzer.
Noah
Wow.
Fran
Thank God. Thank God. Penelope Cruz points on the board. Is Penelope Cruz in any of the. Penelope.
Ria
Yes. Yeah, but the, like, end ones. Like, the last. Like, she might be in four or five.
Fran
Yeah.
Noah
Okay. One. Nothing. Reinfor, Question number five. Taran, Maddie, shout out. Julie from Pitman, New Jersey. What is the first name of Lily's brother, AKA Mia's love interest in the movie the Princess Diaries?
Fran
Oh, you know it? Yeah, but it's not coming to me. Mia's brother. No, his. Her best friend, Lily's brother.
Noah
Lily's brother.
Fran
Mia's loving face in my head. So hot. What did this say?
Noah
10 seconds,
Fran
Jake. Jason there. Oh, Jake. Final answer incorrect. It's a J name. Liam.
Ria
Michael.
Fran
Michael. Michael. It is Michael. It's totally Michael.
Noah
Correct. Michael Moscovitz.
Ria
Yep.
Fran
Michael.
Ria
Moscow.
Fran
Dang. Liam.
Noah
Two, nothing. We're in. Fran.
Ria
Penelope Grooves.
Noah
I'm Justin Timberlake, by the way. Are you guys convinced that I'm not pulling an April Fool's joke now? Because they haven't gotten any. Right. We talked about this yesterday, but they did. They did offer up that. I'm like, we can't. Yeah, you can't pull that off again.
Ria
Oh, you girls were trying to do it again.
Fran
They were like, we're available. Oh, wow.
Ria
How gullible do you think we are today? We want to do it again.
Noah
This would have been a good time, though, because I feel like we just got off a flight where. And you guys, like, wouldn't have been thinking 1000%, but picked up on it by halfway through. I would have hoped that. Yeah.
Fran
I'm on high alert with your trip tricks this upcoming week.
Noah
I should be on high alert, too. I don't know. What you got up your sleeve?
Fran
Nothing. I got nothing.
Ria
We just, like, trash the Boston show and go April Fool. I'm playing.
Fran
Yeah, I'm playing clean. I got. I want it to be always fair with us.
Noah
Okay. Two, nothing. Re and Fran, question number six. To them, shout out. Madeline from Duluth, Minnesota. Julia Rose. Robert's character, Anna.
Ria
Thank you, Tara.
Noah
What?
Ria
Duluth. She said.
Noah
Oh, is that gonna be, like, a big thing?
Ria
No, I think you're gonna.
Noah
It's not as bad as. What did I say? Raleigh Relay or something. Julia Roberts character Anna in Notting Hill always leaves a cartoon character's nickname for the front desk at the hotels she stays at. Three are mentioned throughout the movie. Name one of the nicknames she uses. She's just a girl.
Ria
I'm picturing him calling or when he's trying to find her room. Is there a.15 seconds. What does he say? Bambi's come to my mind.
Noah
Five seconds.
Ria
Just a guess.
Fran
Go for it.
Ria
Go for it, Bambi.
Fran
Final answer correct. Yay, Bambi.
Noah
Pocahontas and Flintstone.
Ria
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Noah
I don't know which one was like the final scene, but yeah. All right. Three. Nothing. Rean Fran. Question number eight to Maddie and Tara. Shout out Abby from Boyd's, Maryland. Name four Taylor Swift songs where the first word is I.
Fran
I can do it with a broke. Where the first word is I. Yeah. Yeah. I'm running through the list of names in my head.
Noah
15 seconds. You were off to a hot start. I was. Oh, no. Five seconds.
Fran
Not gonna get him.
Noah
Damn.
Fran
Not gonna get him.
Noah
Time is up. To reinforce friend.
Fran
I could do it With a broken heart. Yeah. I knew you were trouble.
Ria
I don't want to live forever.
Fran
I don't want to live forever.
Ria
We had to name three.
Fran
Four. Four. Oh, oh, oh.
Ria
I.
Noah
Five seconds.
Fran
I'm throwing out a guess. It's not right, but I'm just doing it just in case. I wish you would. Final answer. But it's just wish you would Now.
Noah
It is. I wish you would.
Fran
Is it?
Noah
Yeah. Yay.
Fran
See?
Ria
Always throw down.
Noah
Let me just triple check that, though. The fact that you were like, I don't think it is. I need to do that.
Ria
No, I'm pretty sure Ria's right.
Noah
No, no, no, no. I wish you would.
Fran
Oh, it is. I wish you would. Okay. I'm glad I said it.
Noah
All right. You want me to tell you? I'll run through it quickly. I can see you. I knew you were trouble. I almost do. I bet you think about me. I wish you would. I know places. I did something bad. I forgot that you existed. I think he knows I can fix him. No, really, I can. I can do it with a broken heart. I hate it here. I look in people's window and I don't want to live forever.
Fran
Yeah. Yeah.
Ria
So there's a lot.
Fran
So it turns out there's a lot.
Ria
So there's a lot for sure.
Noah
Okay. Wow. Four. Nothing. Pulling away a little bit and this is question number nine. Your comeback starts now.
Fran
Thanks.
Noah
Question number nine. Shout out Annie from Chicago to Re and Fran in heated rivalry.
Ria
No, it's their question. No, it's our question.
Fran
Our question.
Ria
But wait. But we're evens.
Noah
Oh, you know what? No, no, I skipped a question.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
Okay.
Ria
We're evens. That's it.
Noah
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Question number eight. Shadow Ally from Rhode Island. Rhode Island. Who was not partnered with Pasha on Dancing with the Stars. Out of these options. A, Carol Baskin. B, Ariana Maddox. C, Teresa Giudice. D, Tanya Harding.
Fran
Was Carole Baskin with him? I don't remember.
Noah
15 seconds.
Ria
Okay, what were the other two?
Fran
Teresa.
Noah
Carole Baskin. Ariana Maddox. Teresa Giudice. Tanya Harding. Five seconds.
Ria
Therese?
Fran
I don't know.
Ria
Between.
Noah
Time's up.
Ria
Where did Carol Baskin.
Fran
Final answer, incorrect. Sorry. Can you say the last
Noah
Blocked her
Ria
being on the shows?
Noah
Teresa Judice. Tanya Harding.
Fran
I think it's Tanya Harding. I think. I can't remember who Teresa Judice is with.
Noah
10 seconds.
Fran
Was teres. Teresa with Max? Yeah, I think. Go with your gut. Tanya Harding.
Noah
Final answer correct. Tanya Harding was never on dance.
Ria
You know, when we were saying Tanya Harding, I was like, well, Ms. Tanya Harding being on this show.
Fran
Yeah, I thought I missed that, too. I was like, she would have been really, really good. And I feel like I would have
Ria
been also really talked about.
Fran
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. That.
Noah
All right, you're on the board. Four.
Ria
One really threw me off.
Fran
Got one. The comeback starts.
Noah
And this is question number nine to taron Matty. Shout out Andy from Chicago. In heated rivalry, Shane is endorsed by a sneaker brand that his mom reminds him he needs to be seen in. What brand of shoe is it?
Fran
I didn't watch Heated Rival. I did. Was it Reebok? I'm not feeling very confident in that, but we'll say Reebok. That sounds good to me. Final answer correct.
Noah
Awesome.
Ria
Cheer up for them for. I don't know.
Fran
I don't know what just happened.
Ria
We don't have, like, that big of a lead.
Fran
I just was, like, happy.
Noah
I don't know. Four, too. I told you the contest. Come back. Yeah.
Ria
She was like, come back, starting now. And now she's cheering for each question. I'm like, we're only up by two points.
Noah
Sorry.
Fran

Noah
Question number 10. To them, I'm playing a movie clip, and you tell me what movie it's from. You want to have a baby?
Fran
Let's do it. See, I hate when you do that.
Noah
Do what?
Fran
Let's have a baby. La la, la.
Ria
In a five, four, Walk up.
Fran
We can barely move it. I'd have to change diapers on the window.
Noah
You have to have a plan.
Ria
You can't act like everything's just gonna
Fran
work out by itself, Jerry. Why do I have to be the responsible grown up who worries? Why can't I be the cute, carefree Irish guy who sings all the time?
Noah
Because you can't sing without making dogs bark.
Fran
Not ringing a bell for me. So one of them's Irish and he sings a lot.
Ria
I have no clue.
Fran
I have no idea. Oh,
Noah
15th
Fran
takes place in some sort of city where there'd be a walk up.
Ria
Yep.
Fran
I could.
Ria
I didn't recognize her voice at all.
Noah
Got your detective hats on?
Fran
This is a big hat.
Noah
All right, two seconds.
Ria
Like Colin Farrell or something.
Noah
Time is up.
Ria
Okay.
Noah
Taran. Maddie.
Fran
Okay. Part of me thinks it's P.S.
Ria
i love you, but it's been a
Fran
really long time since I've seen it. That's cool. I. Not a guess. Go with it. Okay. And I honestly don't know if that's correct. Let's just go with status. Final answer correct.
Noah
Gerard Butler and Hillary Swank.
Fran
Damn. Damn.
Ria
So he's playing. He's playing an Irish guy in that movie. Yeah, it takes place in Ireland despite him being.
Fran
I talked about this. How. Beautiful place in the city and, like, he's from Ireland. I love you like it. Really? Ireland looks gorgeous.
Ria
He's Scottish.
Noah
He's Scottish.
Ria
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what threw me off?
Fran
He looks gorgeous.
Noah
They got walk ups in Ireland. Huh?
Fran
Huh. I don't know. I haven't seen the movie in so long.
Noah
But I just remember it.
Fran
Sad.
Noah
I think that's the opening scene. That's. That's the opening scene of the movie. Okay. Wow.
Ria
I'm just blown.
Noah
4 3. Not gonna say that. Ever since I said here is a comeback.
Fran
Yes.
Ria
Yep. Once Rhea started cheering.
Noah
Question number 11.
Fran
Not even gonna look in her direction. It's like we're fighting now. I'm. I think I'm rooting for Tyra Maddie.
Noah
Question number 11 to Tara Maddy. Shout out Jordan from LA. In Sex in the City, Samantha throws a party at Richard's house in the Hamptons. She infamously breaks a window after throwing something at a group of young models. What did she throw at them?
Fran
I just watched this episode on Saturday. I think it was a melon. Final answer. It's not gonna be me.
Noah
Correct.
Fran
Funny coincidence. Funny coincidence. Wait, this is not a prank. Oh, I never said prank. I said ch. Cheating.
Ria
No, that would have been.
Noah
That would have been like the. Actually the best thing is like.
Ria
No.
Noah
Hey, we're gonna get all the questions wrong. Halfway through.
Fran
Yeah.
Noah
And then we're gonna actually. We're actually gonna talk about how we wanted to do.
Fran
This is the perfect setup. Guys.
Noah
I wish we did that. But now it's funny. If you just went anyway, like that would be. That would completely throw you off. Over. If we brought it up like we wanted to prank it would.
Fran
It would have.
Noah
It would have.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
Okay. Tied up at 4. 4. Unanswered. Question number 12 to Reinfranchetta. Julie from Pittman again. In the movie Zootopia, what flower causes predators to go savage?
Fran
I have never seen Zootopia.
Ria
I forget what the name of it is.
Noah
15 seconds.
Fran
Talking about Zootopia.
Noah
Five seconds.
Ria
It's got some funky name. I can't remember.
Noah
Time is up.
Ria
Poppy. Final answer.
Noah
Incorrect. Taryn met Patty.
Fran
I've never seen Zootopia. Nope. And I don't think it's going to be like a normal flower. I think it's going to be a made up name. So we'll say Tulip. Final answer. There we go.
Noah
Incorrect. I think if you had gotten that one, they would have actually thought you.
Fran
That would have been a little off. That would have been. That would have been odd.
Ria
Something with like.
Noah
Oh, I didn't even tell you what it is.
Fran
Snow or sleep or Night Howler.
Ria
Night Howler. Yeah.
Fran
It was never going to come to me.
Noah
All right. Title up at 4. Question number 13 to Taran. Maddie, shout out Danielle from Sioux Falls in Friends. What is the name of the dog that Phoebe is sitting and hiding at Monica in Chandler's house?
Fran
I don't remember. Here is our friends girl. Yeah, I have no idea. Make up a dog name.
Noah
Okay, ten seconds.
Fran
Murphy. Final answer. Final answer.
Noah
Incorrect.
Fran
Wow, am I useless today? I don't. Gosh, this is not ringing a bell for me.
Ria
Did you name the dog Ross? Oh, no. Am I. I'm just making that up, like, in my head. That's just like a good plot.
Fran
Yeah, it is.
Ria
Like, that's.
Fran
Just go with that.
Ria
That's just like a good idea for an episode.
Fran
Ross, final answer. That would have been amazing. Oh, it was correct.
Ria
Very incorrect.
Fran
Oh, never mind.
Noah
Clunkers. Clunkers.
Fran
Oh, classic dog name.
Noah
Okay, tied up at 4. Two questions left. Shout out Ally from Rhode Island. This is two to re. Infran. Entangled. What is the name of the pub where Rapunzel sings I've got a Dream?
Ria
No clue.
Fran
No idea. No idea. I need to start paying. Pay attention to the little details.
Ria
Yeah, you gotta, like, map out.
Fran
Look at the signs. Tavern. Yeah, the Nutty Tavern.
Ria
They're all like. They're all bad guys.
Noah
Five seconds.
Ria
I don't. I got nothing.
Fran
The Lumberjack Tavern. Final answer.
Noah
Incorrect. So Maddie and Tara.
Fran
Nope, I have no idea. The tav. That sounds like a nice floor. The tav. Final answer.
Ria
Tavern.
Fran
Green Shore. Forward. The Tavern.
Noah
They name a pub a tav? No, it's called the Snuggly Duckling.
Fran
I need some merch that says that. Yeah, Studly Duckling. That'd be sick.
Ria
I think they make it.
Fran
Oh, I'm gonna buy it.
Noah
Okay, final question. Tied up at 4.
Fran
Ooh, I hope they get the Sarah,
Noah
Maddie, shout out Maggie from Yellow Knife North.
Ria
She says, looking to the ground.
Fran
Man, I hope they get this wrong.
Noah
Name the movie by its IMDb description. A woman who raised herself in the marshes of the Deep south becomes a suspect in the murder of a man with whom she was once involved.
Fran
I know it. Where the Crawdads Sing. What an easy final answer.
Noah
Correct. April Fools. No, I'm just kidding.
Ria
No, well done. Well done. I'm being cranky. That's an incredibly easy question.
Fran
That was a gimme. I haven't seen that.
Ria
No, I know, but it's like lady in the Marsh. How many movies are there about a lady in the marsh?
Fran
I don't know. I don't even know what the plot is of that horror movie. So. So congrats to you guys.
Ria
You all did it. I was rooting for you.
Fran
So congratulations.
Ria
The two of you. The two of you spun. You left me alone. I was on an island. I was the only one fighting for our team.
Noah
This is where the comeback starts.
Ria
Yeah.
Noah
Ever since then, it was four nothing at that point. Five. Four. Yeah.
Fran
And you got in my head a little bit and you said, I also root from.
Noah
I don't even know what to. You're like, whoa, this is real.
Fran

Podcast: Chicks in the Office
Date: March 27, 2026
Episode Title: Mormon Wives' Jessi Exposes Jordan on Call Her Daddy + Maura Higgins Bachelorette Rumors
Hosts: Ria and Fran (Barstool Sports)
Special Guest: Noah (Producer)
This episode is packed with pop culture recaps, major reality TV updates, chaotic travel storytelling, and juicy Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise rumors. The Chicks recount their travel misadventures, break down the viral Call Her Daddy interview with Mormon Wives' Jessi, debate rumors about Maura Higgins and a new Bachelorette, and bring their signature energy to a spirited game of trivia. The show’s tone remains naturally conversational, humorous, and a little chaotic, with the trio riffing candidly about life, headlines, and fan interactions.
Timestamps: 02:00–32:38
Exhaustion From the Road:
Noah’s Viral Airport Adventure:
"Matt Quinn... called it legendary. There were a lot of people, you know, like, applauding it." – Noah
Plane Encounters:
Noah chats with a Hasidic Jewish man during the flight, who shares Passover stories and asks to use Noah’s laptop charger, sparking amusingly awkward thoughts about data security and etiquette.
Notable quote (22:44):
"I mean, he had some cojones asking me, can I plug into your computer?" – Noah
The conversation becomes religious as the seatmate asks if Noah is Jewish, offers to do a prayer, and then narrates the story of Passover – much to Noah’s anxious discomfort and comic storytelling.
Post-Arrival & Dallas Recap:
Timestamps: 41:33–49:11
Jessi’s Divorce Bombshell:
Jessi (from Mormon Wives) opened up on Call Her Daddy about her “miserable” marriage to Jordan:
"She woke up every single day for the last four years wondering if she should get a divorce. Which I mean, my God, like, that is just a long time..." – Fran
The hosts highlight Jessi’s strength and restraint in not publicly exposing him sooner, despite immense gaslighting and pressure.
Community & Cultural Pressure:
Public Reaction and Appearances:
"I saw some comparisons to him that he looks like the koala from Sing. And the appearance is not the only thing... They probably both have chlamydia, too." – Ria (44:17)
"The Pilates princess was for us to gab with our girls... and the men got ahold of it and ruined it..." – Ria (44:58)
Financials and the Prenup:
Cosmetic Procedure Regrets:
Timestamps: 49:11–54:59
Mormon Wives Bachelorette Theories:
Possible Taylor Season Aired on Hulu:
“There is always going to be a back and forth on how people feel on the Internet...” – Fran (54:16)
Timestamps: 56:01–64:19
Movie Reboots – Are They Necessary?
Harry Potter HBO Series:
Timestamps: 65:55–91:50
"I'm being cranky. That's an incredibly easy question... How many movies are there about a lady in the marsh?" – Ria
Noah’s Gate Scramble:
“My flight’s boarding in 20. Like, could you… is there anything you could do?” (09:47, Noah’s puppy-dog plea)
On Pilates and Toxic Expectations:
“It was fun for us. And the men got ahold of it and ruined it...” (44:59, Ria)
On Reality TV Drama Creeping Into Real Life:
“It feels crazy that, you know, Jesse is going through a divorce and having all these moments and the cameras are down for people that share so much of their life on reality TV.” (48:14, Ria)
Riffing on Movie Reboots:
“There’s only one of them... You have to make the exact same movie.” (58:48, Ria on 13 Going on 30)
Final Trivia Tension:
The last trivia question (“lady in the Marsh”) leaves Ria hilariously frustrated at the obvious answer.
– “That’s an incredibly easy question…How many movies are there about a lady in the marsh?” (90:39, Ria)
End Note:
If you love reality scandal, witty rants on millennial pop culture, and the comfort of friends telling all, this Chicks in the Office episode delivers.
