So I know that they're gonna be having a blast. But what's gonna keep the Friday Energy going for me, especially the Friday Energy presented by Planet Fitness, is watching all these amazing athletes follow their dreams.

You know what Fred, I am with you. How about the figure skating? The ice dancing yesterday?

Let me tell you something. What's only bringing me back is the fact that I got that Breezy Johnson got engaged. And I'm like, what an amazing moment. Like, that's lifting me back up so nice and, like, putting me in a better mood. And then I'm reminded again by all the interviews and everything that, you know, Maddie and Evan are doing, that those two magnificent ice dancers were robbed. Robbed of a gold. Robbed of a gold.

[Fran]

Why?

[Rhea]

What are you giving me a face for?

[Fran]

What?

[Rhea]

They were robbed. Do you not think they were robbed? You thought the French were good. I thought the French were really good. Okay, here's the thing, though.

[Fran]

They were also really good.

[Rhea]

Yes.

But, you know, when you watch. I actually rewinded, rewound multiple times to watch them over. Because I was watching it live or whatever. Just from your face.

[Rhea]

You had something to say.

[Fran]

I know, and I have held it in. I didn't even text you about it yesterday because I was like. But here's what happened. We watched us go, and then the French came on and I was like, you know, cursing. I'm cursing them. I'm like, ah, they're not gonna be better than them. And then as it's going, I'm like, oh, fuck, they're really fucking good. And then I, you know, went back to rewatch you, and I. I did it. So I went back and rewatched them twice. Yeah. And I was like, they were really fucking good. So I don't know if I can jump on and be like, they were robbed because. Because I. I thought the French were really good.

[Rhea]

Just amazing.

[Fran]

I thought they were both really good. So I thought it was so close. Like, the scoring was, what, less than a point of difference? Which to me.

[Rhea]

Well, the final score was a little over a point.

[Fran]

Yeah. It was so close.

[Rhea]

Well, they got robbed in their rhythm dance because of the French judge. That's massively overscoring the French team. And that's where it's great. And yes, there's a lot up. Like, ice dancing is. Is a tough sport in general. Kind of falls into a lot of that, you know, gymnastics esque, like, where the creativity and the performance can be seen in such different ways from a judge. But here's my thing. There's one element of ice dancing that I know that I'm like, you gotta nail your twizzles in ice dance. Like that.

[Fran]

The twizzles are important. Yeah.

[Rhea]

And all I know, the Americans nailed their twizzle and the French did not. He fell out of his twizzle a little bit, and he should have gotten a bigger deduction. And he did, in my opinion. And he fell out of that twizzle.

[Fran]

He fell out of his twizzle right then and there.

[Rhea]

Yeah. Cause, yes, it was a beautiful dance.

[Fran]

Other moments, they had some wow moments.

[Rhea]

A clean. Like, the Americans had all the wow moments, and it was a perfectly clean dance. The French had some wow moments, but a slight mistake. Should take. Should put them in second.

[Fran]

Yeah, that's fair. That is a very fair critique. I think I was stuck on the wow moments. No, there were a couple of movement moves that they did where I thought, I don't even know how she ended up in that position.

[Rhea]

And to be honest. And I know this is a superficial, like, answer, and I laugh because Kevin was calling them, like, a pair of Disney villains. The outfits also scream Disney villain. Like, they. They came out there in that, and they're matching outfits. And he, like, something about his look just irks me.

[Kennedy Urich]

Oh, yeah.

[Rhea]

And, you know, and then you get mags. It's like, oh, they've only been together for a year. It's like all these things. I just think Maddie and Evan have been getting screwed on the Olympic stage because they have won worlds years and years in a row. And they get to the Olympics, and, you know, silver is amazing. Here's my thing with the Olympics and the medals. Silver, I think this is my take. Ready for this?

[Fran]

I am seated.

[Rhea]

I think silver is the worst medal you can get because the bra. The people who win bronze are so fucking hyped that they made it. Cause it's like, you're borderline third or fourth. You're on the podium.

[Fran]

You're off.

[Rhea]

So it's like, you get third. You're like, I'm on the podium, but I wasn't gonna get first. Silver's like, I could have gotten gold, but I'm silver, which hurts a little bit more.

[Fran]

If you ain't first, you last.

[Rhea]

It's just, you know, and silver's amazing. Silver's fucking incredible. So it's like, you get to. You get to win silver, but, like, especially because you're a point. Ish off from gold.

I totally find why the people who.

Win bronze, they're up there and, like, like, pumped about bra.

[Fran]

Because they have been left off the podium.

[Rhea]

Yes.

In the last Olympics.

Because the feeling of being in, like.

Fourth is got to be awful. Yeah.

What if it's close between? Like, you'd prefer if you got Bronze. But you were so close to getting silver, you'd prefer silver.

[Rhea]

Yeah, but at the same time, it's like, if you're so close to getting silver, then were you so close to getting gold?

[Fran]

I would be like, you know what? Yeah, I would be like, there's two in front of me. Like, at least I'm. I'm, you know, number three. You're so right about being number two.

[Rhea]

Like, I've just seen the way and I've watched, like some of these athletes, they're so incredible, but the reactions on their faces for a bronze versus silver when they're like, yes, like, I'm, you know, I'm on the podium, pumped up.

[Fran]

Right. You. You make it to bronze, you're like, hey, at least I made it. You're like, everyone's congratulating you. You're like, listen, I got on the podium, you get second. The conversation is around those little deductions of the Twiz. Oh, the number one team fucked up their Twizzle now.

[Rhea]

Yes. And by the way, the Canadians were also fantastic. And in my mind, if I was in the judge's chair, I would have gone, I would have said the American team, the Canadians, and then the French. Okay, fair now, solely based on, you know, the twizzles. The Twizzles, the technical. Judgeable by a new, like, by a number things. Yes. Creativity and musicality. And like all those things are taken into consideration for ice dance.

And every.

[Rhea]

Those are, you know, everyone has their own opinions. Like, we could totally. I could hate the music that someone's dancing to and that could maybe bring it down in my mind.

[Fran]

Yeah. I think that maybe I don't have the judge eye where I was looking at the deductions and was just more looking at, like the wow. Creativity. Now, obviously I wanted the American team to win because I haven't. We heard like, not great things about the French team. Like they really are the Disney villain ice dance couple. But they. It was just so frickin close.

[Rhea]

They've been struck with controversy, that French team.

[Fran]

They have been. It was just such a close scoring.

[Rhea]

It was so close. Which is why I go back to, you know, they had. The French had the edge on them after the rhythm dance. And if you really, if you look at the other scoring, like everybody's. There's some, some fair consistency. But then there's one French judge that like wildly scored the French team so much higher than any other judge did.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

And then it's like, then you get.

[Fran]

Into that ain't right.

[Rhea]

Should they even be allowed to judge their own country kind of thing? Like, I get. If they can't do it with complete neutrality, get them off.

[Fran]

Totally true.

[Rhea]

They shouldn't be on there. And it's like, maybe they compile a panel of judges that are. Are from countries that don't have, you know, a skater in the rink that could be. Which is hard, though, because I know you always have, like, the judges are the top of the top, I'm sure. And it's like you want the best of the best judging. But when you see the French judges given the. The French team and it. The smallest numbers matter so much.

They do in sports.

[Rhea]

And then you see the jump, it was like, multiple points higher, which is such a game changer when it comes to a sport like this. But you fall in love with the story too, which is why it's just like, oh, these two been dancing together for. They've been dancing on ice together for a year, the French. You're like, there's not.

It's not.

[Rhea]

Is powerful. This guy's won already. And Maddie, they're in love. They're married.

[Fran]

They're married.

[Rhea]

They've been together 15 years. Shit. God.

You will eat this show up after this. It's all about how long the partners have been. It's all about the ice dancing, how long the partners have been together.

Yeah, yeah. But I've stayed very consistent. And I have not. I Still haven't watched it yet. I just haven't been in the right setting of getting to really digest.

We've talked about this before. Like, you know, I think everybody is fun people watching on Valentine's Day because it's like, oh, have these been. These two been married 20 years, or is this, like, a really funny fourth date? That's Valentine's Day. Happens to be Valentine's Day. We like to do the day before. Day after. We're just gonna go to dinner.

We have.

We have sandwiches. We're gonna go to dinner Friday night, and then Joe's gonna cook on Sunday.

Yeah. Yeah.

And just lay low. Lay low Saturday because we're doing Dancing with the Stars on Sunday.

Yes, we are going to Dance with the stars on Sunday. Very excited for that, which I'm very excited for. But, yeah, dinner on Valentine's Day could be hard because of the prefix menus everywhere.

[Rhea]

That's what. And you know who. Nobody dislikes a prefix menu when you're set to it more than me and Joe. Like, it's like, we want to go into the restaurant and order what you want. Order what you want. And sometimes. And some restaurants give you the option. It's like, you can order from the prefix or not, but sometimes you walk in. It's just prefix because, yeah, Valentine's Day is a very busy night. I also think sometimes they're shuffling you out of the places fast because they have a lot of turnover, a lot of reservations.

[Fran]

Gotta find a spot that's, like. Doesn't give a. That it's Valentine's Day or.

[Rhea]

Well, that's why it's like, it's a good day to go to your, like, favorite local spot that isn't some big to do of, like, I got this big reservation.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

And you have all these hopes. It's like a new place that you've never been to.

[Fran]

For sure.

[Rhea]

It's like, I think Valentine's Day is a day to play the hits.

[Fran]

Yeah, of course. Yeah. And I feel like any day that you do it, like, it doesn't have to be on. It could be like you said, the day before, day after, you could do something during the day. On Valentine's Day, there's so many options, especially with it being Saturday next year. Valentine's Day is on the Super Bowl. Yeah. So some people might write and run into some troubles with that.

[Rhea]

Yeah, you know, definitely. But you just got to. You just got to double it up and, like, make it a Saturday. You got to make it a Friday or Saturday. It's just going to be. It's just going to be Saturday again. The other thing I mentioned, the beginning was Breezy Johnson, who is, you know, one gold in the downhill skiing. She's fantastic. She completed her last event this week. What day is it?

[Fran]

Thursday.

[Rhea]

And at the end, the result wasn't what she wanted in the actual event. However, her boyfriend was there waiting for her to propose, which is. Was so adorable. Such a beautiful moment. He, you know, we have the whole video of it. It was up on the. I was watching on the Today show Instagram when I saw it this morning. So sweet. And of course, you know, your, like, first. First gut thought is like, oh, my God, I hope she wanted to get engaged at the Olympics. That's a. That's a big life event for her to double it up. And of course, everywhere is like, she hinted that she would have loved an Olympics proposal. I'm like, okay, perfect. So it's her dream come true.

[Fran]

Right? Right. And we are rooting for a dream come true, and we're so happy. But the discussion can quickly turn into, oh, he stole her moment.

[Rhea]

Totally. The Olympics so fast.

[Fran]

And like, that's how people twist things. But if this is what she wanted, then it's the most adorable, sweetest, so romantic.

The Olympics in mil. Like, it is so freaking romantic. I'm so happy for them. It is so cute.

So sweet. And then. So what was really special is that he had this little, like, plaque and it had the Taylor Swift lyric, honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy? Obviously from Alchemy. They must love that song. And so she put. I, like, literally have.

I got full goosebumps just thinking about, like, what I would do if this happened to me. Full Cuz Gia was joke. We were joking before, but I'll share that after. Full, Full goosebumps that Taylor Swift commented on her Instagram saying, you know, quotes. Where's the trophy? He just comes running over to me, all caps. Congratulations. I was like, oh, that is so What a dream. What a dream.

And then like from summer when your camp is over, and then you, like, it's finally winter. It so much time I actually went home and said, made a video of myself in my room being like, this is how you do it so you don't forget. Cause I thought I was gonna forget. And then once the winter came, I was on the mountain. I'm like, I don't know. I don't know.

I just can't do it. I just can't do it.

You have to have a serious level of daredevil ness in you to be these skiers and snowboarders who do these jumps and flips. I remember we had a family friend who's awesome snowboarder, and there was a time when jb, like, legit thought he was so good at snowboarding. He was so good. And he went and. And was going down the mountain with our. With our friend. And like, afterwards he was like, I'm nowhere near as good. Like, he's like stratosphere. Like, stratosphere different than me.

[Noah]

I have to show you this photo of me in the hospital after I was snowboarding. I was like, going down a mountain as fast as I could, and I tried to go off this little jump and my snowboard edge caught and I literally blacked out. That's how hard it hit my head. But then I went down. Some of my friends were above me, and I'm like, oh, I'm fine. I'm fine. Went down the mountain, took my helmet off and just blood coming down my head.

So they forced me to go to the hospital. But this picture of me in the hospital is so funny.

A two to two weeks to a month. Like, I didn't go to school because if I walked, I, like, couldn't walk. Like.

Wait, I mean, did you see that tweet of him that also went viral of him, like, jumping and doing a trick in front of. I Think it was like, Vanessa Hudginson or whatever.

I went down such a rabbit hole the other day of. You probably don't remember it, because I don't. I did not remember it either until I watched all these videos of Nikki Blonsky and Zac Efron during their press tour for Hairspray.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever really watched a lot of the videos in full because I wasn't, like, at the age of watching, like, exactly.

She was obsessed with him.

She was obsessed with him, but he fed into it. And then on TRL or whatever it was at the time, they full on make out, like. And like, they're like, should we kiss right now? And he was dating Vanessa Hutchins. And then Nikki Blonsky goes on to Wendy Williams show, and Wendy's like, let me ask you, Nikki, like, do you think that they're gonna laugh? Like they're gonna make it? Like, are they the one for each other? They gonna get married? And Nikki's like, sorry, Vee, I don't think so.

I was like, zac Efron and Vanessa.

Hutchins were literally dating at the time. And she looks at the camera, she's like, sorry, Vee, I don't think so, or whatever she says. But I know she says, sorry, Vy. The way that I was watching endless videos of them two doing press, like, it was Margot, Robbie and Jacob. Lordy. Like, I couldn't get enough. You have you. I'm telling you, if you're listening to this, you have to look it up. It's wild. Like.

Really, really sad news. Unfortunately, James Van Der Beek, who was battling colorectal Cancer. Cancer, I think, since 2023, unfortunately. Lost his battle at the age of 48. So incredibly sad. And, you know, for somebody to lose their life at such a young age is just heartbreaking.

[Rhea]

It really is. Someone so young and with such young kids, it just kills you. He was married with six kids, which is a lot of kids.

[Fran]

A lot of kids.

[Rhea]

A lot of kids. And they're still really little. And I remember seeing them, a couple of the older ones, when they did that reunion on stage, and they all sang the Dawson's Creek theme song, and his daughters came with his wife and sang with them, and that was like such a beautiful moment, but this is just so heartbreaking. And I. I feel like, you know, I think he was able to prepare in a little bit of a way, which is so awful to say, but it's just like, maybe some closure, getting to say some of those goodbyes. I know Emma Slater, who was his partner on Desk with the Stars, posted a beautiful tribute on Instagram, and she said, you know, I'm so glad I was able to see you on Sunday. So I think people were able to kind of visit him and have those moments, but it's just so awful. And I know it's kind of going viral right now that they formed a GoFundMe for his family because it's. It's. That is tough leaving a wife with six kids. And right now it seems that they are. Yeah, they're over. It's over one and a half million dollars right now, which is just crazy to see. The friends of the Vanderbijk family, they wrote on there today. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for showing up for James and his beautiful family. Your kindness has meant more than we can put into words. In the middle of deep grief, your support has been a light. It reminds us that love is real, that community is strong, and that James's spirit continues to bring people together.

Which is really a beautiful thing to say. I think everyone was kind of noticing other people he's worked with supporting this, and everyone saw that Zoe Zeldana had put in, like, $2,500. It would repeat monthly. That would. That would go to the family. So it's just.

It's awful, but it's great to see people rally around his family and give them the support that they need and are going to need.

[Fran]

Right. Like they said, in a moment of such hard grief, the positivity that comes from the community that James had around him, friends, family, people he's worked with. Having such nice stories to share wonderful things to about his life in such a heartbreaking way to lose your battle with cancer. But I'm really happy to see everybody come together for him and his family because six kids really is a lot. And, you know, they are gonna be needing the help going forward. So it is really nice for everybody to be rallying together for them.

[Rhea]

Yeah, definitely. I think even just from like hearing stories and knowing from other people. And they had also posted like the. We don't even know the lengths of treatment he was trying to get the expenses at that cost. The fundraisers had added on the page that they basically had been like out of funds after really going through all the options as far as cancer treatment goes.

[Fran]

I mean, it's just so insane when someone is so sick and everything is so expensive and, you know, a lot of people can't afford it. It's just so sad. It really is.

[Rhea]

Yep, exactly. So just heartbreaking. I know that, you know, he was so beloved and such a. Such a. Such a care, like such a person that is remembered for that character and all, like the amazing, you know, projects and things he got to do. So very, very sad. And we're praying for his beautiful family.

[Fran]

Yeah, of course. And to see everyone sharing such nice things is. Is always really wonderful as well. It is, it is. Moving on. Hilary Duff announced that she is going on world tour. World tour. Now, she has kept it to pretty, you know, not small venues, but I would say modest amphitheaters.

[Rhea]

Yeah, a lot of amphitheaters.

[Fran]

Amphitheaters, you know, modest amount of people. And she realized the want is there, the demand is there. And she's going worldwide. And she went from the Brooklyn Paramount to msg.

[Rhea]

Let me tell you something. I saw the Madison Square Garden, like, Instagram post first. Before I even saw anything else. I thought, oh, my God, this is incredible. Good for her. But she's doing a summer. It's mostly like it's starting in the summer, so there's a lot of outdoor amphitheaters, which is going to be amazing. But then she's got MSG on here in August, which is so cool. She's gotta be having such, like a pinch me moment. I talked about it when I went to the show at the Paramount. It was so packed and the demand is just there. I also love the video she posted, you see, of her, like going in the closet and pulling out some iconic Hilary Duff fashion items, whether it was Lizzie or music video stuff or Cinderella story and all these things. So it was so cute and love seeing that. And she's going on the Lucky Me world tour and she's going. It's global, not only in North America, but I think she's hitting up the UK and yeah, she's got shows in Dublin, London, Manchester, Glasgow, New Zealand, Australia. There's some shows in Canada, Mexico City. It's fantastic.

[Fran]

So sick. So happy for her. That's so incredible to probably be a little bit nervous to get back out there. You haven't done this in so long. And then to see the love and support just pour in from everybody. So much so that now you're gonna be frickin doing a world tour. Like, that's just so amazing.

[Rhea]

I know. I'm pumped for her. I'm excited to see how, how it sells because I think that people are just really. And I know we say it all the time with nostalgia and how much people love nostalgia and they love reliving those moments. I think Hillary just pulls something out of everybody, especially girls our age and a little bit older, you know, whatever. Aging, younger, older. But in our age demographic really, that she's just such a special person to them. And the music, like, takes you back to those times of like back to the beginning. Yeah. Putting the CD in your boombox and blasting in your bedroom or in your Wal Walkman and hanging out with your friends.

She was sort of the first of its kind for us for Disney Channel.

[Rhea]

You know, so I really do think it just hits that nostalgia nerve for everybody.

One of the ones that really, really, like, made herself into a star too, which is so fun. And she's, she's leaning into it, which I love. I think that that's something that you need to do when you know what your audience wants. And everyone is very excited for her new album, which is great, but you're also about to go on a world tour and you know how much people hold, hold on to and love those old songs. And I mean, the set that she did at Broca Perro was fantastic.

Feels like she has to go to Italy.

So it's just, I'm so happy for her too, because it's like, that's a lot to tour and her family and hope, you know, I'm sure her kids are going to be along the. To sit around and stare at each other? Not my thing.

And then, like, nobody wants to get up to go to the bathroom. We were just talking about it. Cause I was explaining to Rhea about what, like, Harry Styles doing all the shows at msg, they have, like, a set time that you can even start to line up for the floor. And you have to line up at a certain time. But, like, fans band together, so if you're there early, like, they start the line already.

And I was like, joe, you can't. You can't wait in the. In the line. And he said. He was like, I waited for 10 minutes. It didn't move, and then I left. Like, I was like, I can't. I can't do this. Like, I don't care how fun it is in there.

Yep, yep. I'm originally from. I say outside of Pittsburgh, but like, I am like, like 40 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. Like, people can't put on the maps. I'm like, oh, I'm from Pittsburgh. And then they're like, well, what borough? I'm like, okay, so I'm actually not from Pittsburgh.

Like a 20, 21 years. I like, legit. Never left until I left.

Until I fully left. Like, I went to community college too. My parents were like, we're not paying for college. Like, we're not doing this. We can go to community. So I went to community and then by the time it was time for me to transfer to like a four year university, I had gone to manager a couple months before. And it was like, I was like, dude, I'm never going to make this much money. Go. I was going for communications. Like, I was like, dude, I'm not going to school to be a doctor. I'm not going to school for anything. Crazy odds are like, I just need to take this opportunity. And at least now if I do this, I can afford to actually pay for the college and not be in debt forever. So I kind of just took a chance. And then I still had signed a lease, so I had to live at the campus. It was kind of awkward, like, because I never went to school there. So then I just like lived on this college campus for like four or five months with like, luckily I did have friends there. And then I remember, like, when I decided I was moving, like, one of my friends was low key piss. I was like, you're not resigning your lease. I was like, girl, why would I. I'm not going to school here. Like, and there's. It's not like I'm like, I was in the city or it was legit. It was a place called Slippery Rock.

We had one bar that was like the college bar. That was it. There was no reason for me to be there. And I kind of had new. I knew people in Austin and they were like, you should just move to Austin. So I got an Airbnb. And then once I went to Austin, I just never came home. I called, my parents were like, hey, someone's gonna be there to like pick up my car. My mom was like crying My mom was like, well, my mom always has so much anxiety. She's like, well, what are you gonna do? Like, what happens when you need to go to the doctor? Yeah, okay. You find a doctor. Like, what are you talking about? But, like, she was, like, instilling this, like, comforts of home. Yeah.

But then I've been there ever since, and it's good. It's. It's just like four years in Austin is a long time.

And then at one point last year, we went one weekend and we looked around and everyone just started looking a lot younger. I was like, oh, I think we had to go uptown. I was like, I think we got to change the location.

When you look around and everyone's like, legit 12, that's when you know. That's when you know, like, there's.

And it shows in the boys so much more like, look so much younger. And you're like, I'm sorry, are you even able to be here?

And when, like, you can just tell, like, also, like, by how drunk people are getting that you're like, wait, I'm. I'm down this rabbit hole. Especially, like, there's like, this, like, street in Austin. Then I feel like, Wes, it's like you go. And it's either very young people, like 21, barely 21, you know, crowd, and you're like, oh, y' all are getting up. Y' all having fun? Or it's like old men that are kind of. I mean, not that old, but like 35, where it's like, oh, you're predators. You know what I mean? It's like the young girls, the young really young people, and there's predators and.

It is that big jump. Now. What inspired you to start posting in the first place? Because I feel like you got extremely popular in, like, 2021, I would say was like the big year that you really started popping off. But what made you start posting?

[Kennedy Urich]

Literally nothing. I think I was bored because it was during. I started posting during COVID and I had always loved people like Tana Mongeau, stuff like that. Like, I'd always. And like, growing up, I played lacrosse and girls would be like, I remember being like a freshman and the senior girl been like, you need to start YouTube videos. Because I would tell them stories and I'd be going on and on and be like, you need to. You need to, like, have an outlet to do this. Right? And so during COVID I think it was just like, short term, like, content, short form content was like kind of popping off. And it was at the time where Tick tock was still so cringe. Like, if you were posting on Tick Tock. It was kind of like. And it was people still, you know, doing the dances.

Yeah. Trying to dance on there.

[Kennedy Urich]

At some point I'm actually like mid looking. You know what I mean?

[Rhea]

Like on the.

In a small town, I think you think you're better looking than you are. And then I would like post lip syncs, being like, this is about to pop the off. No likes. And I'd be like, yeah. Oh wait, damn, I'm not okay.

[Fran]

And I literally was like, I literally post myself.

I'm actually scraping the bottom of the barrel.

[Fran]

Yeah. Like, I thought like I was going to get like famous for being pretty on there.

And then I was like, I was sipping that cola.

No, I was like, wait, I have to talk. Like, people need to hear my personality talking.

All of a sudden it was working for me. I was like, oh, so I'm actually more than a pretty face.

If anyone ever like makes any comment about like, oh, you just got. It was easier for you to get popular because, like, you're good looking. I'm like, trust me, I wasn't that good looking because I was trying the whole. And it wasn't working. Okay, it was not working for me. But like I started posting and I was kind of using it as a diary and like on hand. Like sometimes I look back at the. I was posting even two, three years ago, and I'm like, that was not so funny though.

Like I have a respect for it because I was like, what do I have to lose now? It's kind of like, you know, now that it's like it's become a job, there's kind of a little more, you know, you have to be a little more careful with what you say. I was just getting on there talking about whatever.

I was like posting me crying about men. Oh my God. Like, guys. I get sick to my actual goddamn stomach when I think about it. Like the amount of men that I would like cry about on there and be like, like this guy.

I'm like, okay, like, then you're not my man. Respectfully, in my mind, I'm like, if you can't get behind that, like, that's just me. Yeah, point blank, that's just me. So I'm like, you just don't get me. You don't get me. I'm so deep. You don't get me. And then all of a sudden, like, one day, like, we were just butting heads. I feel, like, a lot in that, like. And he would kind of get tested with it because he thought he was being funny, but I was like. Like, I'm not, like, in the sense of humor. We're never having an easy time, me and you. It's always just a hard time. You're always giving me hard time. And then all of a sudden, like, one day, I remember, like, I was leaving for Hawaii, and I was like. I kept on, like. Because he would call me too, and he would, like, randomly give me. I call it cold calling. I never had an office job, so I'm like, he's cool calling me.

Why is he cool calling me? Like, I'd be like, randomly see him calling me, and I'm like, we don't know each other.

Listen, I don't passionate either of you, but I know you from watching you and I love you two together. I think he's so funny. I think it's sweet. I feel like just from what I can see is that like you are totally yourself in front of him with the videos, which is really nice. It's always the most important when I.

And I feel like I've like, let him become himself a lot. Like, I feel like he. When he always talks about his like, past relationships and stuff like that, I'm like, wait, like, hold up. But then I'm like, wait, we actually have a lot of middle ground where we're actually way similar than I thought.

Oh well, it's, it's, it is so cute. And I feel like you have been so open about it, which is so fun to watch, which is why every and I were talking about it. It's like, like people that have the ability to share online, like we respect it so much because like I get nervous about posting like an opinion on TV show. People are going to get mad at like I like, it's just like, it's crazy to me. So how do you like, do you compartmentalize? What do you do? Like if you post something, are you like reading the comments? Are you not? Like, are you like I post it, I forget about it.

I think a little bit of both. I think there's some things that like I know when I'm posting it, like this is going to maybe ruffle something that. But then sometimes there's ones where you're like, yo, holy. I didn't think anyone would care about this. And it got people talking and you're kind of like. But now I think I kind of do separate it a little bit. And I think like going to therapy, my therapist was like, you got to separate the art from the artist.

And ever since she said that to me, I was like, you're right. Like ever since.

Yeah, the influence of the influencer. Now I'm like, okay, now I can kind of take a step back and I don't really read comments as much. Yeah, I used to be like, post a video obsessively seeing every comment that came in and like, like, oh my God, what are people thinking now? It's really not so much like I'll post a video, I'll forget about it. Then I'll go and be like, oh, what are people saying? Okay, it's okay. But like recently me and Bobby started posting these like long form YouTube and long form's always scary. Like cuz people like to take long form and run with it. Like even more so than a short video. I feel like when you just start talking, that's when you're giving people like a lot of Space to like speculate.

Right. Or you post your own long form and then other people take it and make it short form and then you're like, why don't do that. Why is this 20 second clip from my 20 minute YouTube video now on TikTok? Like, it's not.

Someone clicked one of the, like, things that we had posted and like, luckily, I mean, it got perceived well. But I was kind of nervous because I feel like me and Bub's like our sense of humor, like we do. I think that's what's hard too, is a lot of my stuff. Although it is me. It's a bit. It's like a really heavy bit that I do that I like. Yes, it is a side of me, but like, I feed into it when I'm on camera, you know, I'm an entertainer. You know what I mean? Like, I'm like, I'm an entertainer, but like, personality, personality.

It's like personality, but it's not.

Not me. Like whenever I'm like, usually whenever it's like me and Bobby, whatever. Like, but I feel like when we're on camera, like, we really turn on both of our bits of like, I'm a little sassy. We. It's just like, it just naturally happens and he does the same thing. Like, we just kind of feed into these like, characterizations of ourselves, I guess.

That like, I like, mess with him a lot and I'm like, oh my God, are people gonna be like, she's so mean to him? Because some of the clips, like, it kind of looked that way and I'm like, I swear to God, like, it's like this bit that we do, but people don't really necessarily know that and they're looking into it. And then I'm like, first of all of all, whoever feels bad for a man, not me, but like, you know, people are like, can't even watch this. Like, she was kind of mean to Bobby. I'm like, wait, was I? And I'm like, bobby, was I mean to you? And he's like, no, I think it's. It's like your bit. And I'm like, I know, but like, people, I don't know, like, if everyone.

Right? We don't shut up. But that is still not 24 hours in a day. So, like, sometimes people will see someone like you who shares so much, they think they know everything about you. But really, you know, like you said, it's a lot of it is.

I'm like, y' all know I'm a lot more calm in my everyday life. You guys don't get it. Like, I mean, because I do post. I feel like I post videos when I'm in this energy of, like.

[Fran]

Exactly.

But, like, whenever I'm, like, at home and I feel like when I'm hanging out with my friends, I have these moments, like when I'm telling stories and I'm that entertainer side of me is coming out where I'm like. But then I feel like a lot of time, like, I'm actually way more boring. Like, Bobby said that. I think it's so interesting that, like, one of Bobby's things that he really liked about me was like, wow, you're, like, so much more of a person, like, a deeper person.

Than I ever would have thought. And I'm like, well, what would ever give you the vibe that I was? And he's like, I don't know. I guess just, like, watching videos and seeing that, you're always like, yeah, you know, going off and you're in this mindset. And when I started to, like, actually hang out with you and got to know you on this deeper level, he's like, you're actually, like, more intelligent than a lot of my, like, friends and a lot of the people that I knew that I went to school with that in my mind, I'm thinking, like, these people are educated and they're this.

Said that and doesn't always mean.

I'm like, baby, no, it doesn't. Yeah, don't worry. Trust me. I got that side of me. Yeah, I can bring it out. I can bring it out.

But it's like, people think because you're entertaining, it's like, oh, that's. You must be dumb.

Or like doing that all the time.

People have met me who have said, oh, she's quiet because I could be very loud on the podcast. She. Oh, she's quieter than I thought. She's more shy than I thought. I was like, well, I'm not going to be screaming 247 when I first meet you. Like when you get to know me, obviously. Yeah, right. Like, that would be so obnoxious, you know? But obviously when you're like you. When you're going to entertain, you're put.

I know you're turning it on for the cameras even. Like, I feel like at bars it's like, I don't know if people think that I'm like, like hanging from the rooftop, like grinding chandelier. I'm like, yo, at bars I'm like this. Trying not to make eye contact with people. Cuz also usually I'm high.

[Fran]

So I'm like, right then you're. Someone comes up to me.

[Kennedy Urich]

But then I'm like, then I turn it on. Because the thing is, I feel like there's a lot of people I was just talking about this that are like influencers and that low key. Like, you meet them and you're like. But like they're like dead silent or like they can't hold the conversation. I'm like, you need to find another job, baby.

Yeah.

You need to be like, come on, we need to turn it on a bit, you know? I know. Entertainer. Like, if you're gonna pick up that phone, you can talk to your phone. You should be able to talk to someone when they come up to you and say, hey, I love your videos. Like, yeah, I feel like I'm good at like being like, oh my. Making conversation. I've seen some people interact with like their audience and I'm like, okay, you guys, this is kind of awkward.

Yeah, like, that's a no, no. Like, like these are the people that are like, why you have your job job.

Like, you can take five minutes to like actually act like you give a. Like, it's not the hardest thing in.

I think that's what I find so interesting is I was telling this to my. I was like having like a thought. I was like, you know, took an edible and I was having a thought and I was like, yo, it's actually kind of crazy to think about when I'm talking and like picking up my phone. Compared to, like, when I first started, I'm just like kind of of posting videos out there to God knows who. I don't even know. I didn't even know who I was posting to. It was just kind of like. And now it's so weird that I can like take a video and in my mind, like, when I'm posting it, there's a group of people that I know I'm posting to. Do I know them? No. Do I know the individuals that I'm posting? But in my mind there's like, there's this community that I'm like, oh, they're gonna get it. Yeah, they'll get it.

Yeah.

And it's like, who is they? I don't know. I don't know, but I know. And then when I meet them in real life, I'm like, people will be like, oh, my God, is it. Is it like weird that I like, I know about your dog or I know. And I'm like, no. It makes me feel like, so seen, like, if you're not talking. Because then there's the other side, though. People being like, oh, my God, like, I fucked your ex boyfriend.

Like, I feel like mentally the things at 21 versus 25, like, yeah, they're very different. So she comes, she's my friends, like, going away party. And you know, she's talking and she's talking about her roommate. And I'm. I'm like all ears, right? Because I'm nosy. I'm like, I'm hearing it. She's bitching about her roommate. Like, and she goes, oh, like our one other friend's coming. Like, you know, we kind of know. We're kind of. Don't immediately have this feeling where I'm like, I just feel like this is going. I don't know why. I have this, like, sickening feeling come over me where I'm like, something's gonna happen. I just don't. I don't get a good vibe. So my two friends show up, and I see them and I'm like, oh, wonder where. I don't know where the other girl is. And I see in the corner of my eye, like, this girl, like, going and hugging my ex. And I'm thinking like, oh, that's French with her. Well, then she comes and walks over to the group after, and I'm like, wait, hold up. She's like, with my friends. Like, this girl's like, friends with, like, I don't know if she's seeing my ex and she's friends with my friends. Immediately I'm like, dude, this. This is like my nightmare. Nightmare rotation right now going on. I'm like. And so I'm kind of like. And my friends are looking at me like they have this, oh, moment of like, we didn't know that she knew them. Like, we didn't know it was going to be one of those situations because then. Then all night, the girl was like bouncing in between going back and forth and that group.

And now, now it's like too much paying attention to. To. Now you have to pay attention to that group because you're seeing her bounce back and forth. Meanwhile, you could have just ignored right then.

Now I'm like, this is weird because then you're going missing and then I know you're coming back. And I'm like, are you. Are you talking about it? Just like then when my boyfriend was performing then she was like becoming like the whole best friend thing where she was like, oh, my God, he does this. She's like. She's like, wow, this is like, I'm gonna become. She kept on saying, like, I'm gonna become a groupie. I'm gonna become a groupie. And I was like, girl, you're messing with that X. Now you're trying to my boyfriend. This is all entirely too much like.

She went up to my friend some weird, weird. And she was going on and on about like, I'm gonna be. Let me know. I'll go to all the shows. I'll go to all this.

All night, she's doing the whole, like, going back and forth. And now my friends are like, we didn't really know her all that well to begin with. Now this is giving us weird vibes. They go up to another bar, she ends up going with them. And then she's like, once again trying to pull my friends into that same group. And my friends are like, what are you not understanding?

Like, I just. I like to be alone, like, in my hotel room, literally eating room service. And my friend just moved to New York, so it's, like, been nice that I've been able to see her. Like, do whatever. And then sometimes I'm like, after the fact, I look back at pictures and I'm like, yo, that's the last time I give people creative freedom. Because then especially when I like, do slick backs, anytime I do a slick back and I'm like, I literally look an egg in all my photos. So right now I'm like, mentally trying to figure out what the hair and makeup's gonna look like with this outfit. Because I'm like, I don't know the outfit. The outfit's just like, it's. So that's a challenge that I'm not sure if we're working on it.
