It's chicks in the office with Ran Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Monday, everybody. Hopefully everyone is feeling marvelous today. It is the day after Jonas Kahn, which we are gonna get all into. How are we feeling this morning?
Ria Ciuffo
Exhausted.
Fran Mariano
Yes, it was exhausting.
Ria Ciuffo
No, it is. It was so much fun. It's just, it's when you're. You're on such a high or adrenaline's pumping all day long and then you just crash out.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Really. And, and I, I am very impressed by you because we have.
Fran Mariano
If you're.
Ria Ciuffo
We have very different looks going right now. If anybody's watching, it looks like I absolutely slept in a sw.
Fran Mariano
Listen, this was not by choice. I need to give a full warning. I am in full glam right now. Not my hair. This is not how I'm doing my hair. My hair is dirty. I slicked it back into a bun. I just need to preface that I'm not wearing my hair like this for the wedding. Hailey and I. Cause Haley did our makeup for Jonascon on Sunday. We had been talking about doing a trial for my wedding and we played around this morning. Cause it was really the only time that we could do it. So I was up at the crack of dawn this morning too to do some trials to play around with some looks for the wedding. So I am in full makeup right now and I don't want to be. You know what I mean, if Hailey was not there.
Ria Ciuffo
You have a lash on right now. I do. I have lashes on, lashes on. I Can't even imagine.
Fran Mariano
I wouldn't be wearing makeup right now at all. I would look literally like a swamp monster.
Ria Ciuffo
That's how I feel and look. Because I rolled out of bed and was like, okay, I guess I just. I also have the.
Fran Mariano
You still look cute.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, thanks, but I just have the. I don't know if it was like the stress leading up, the nerves, the. Then sometimes when I do, like, full makeup, I get. I get nervous and things get. I have very sensitive eyeballs. Everybody knows that. Not even my eyeballs, but my eyes. Very sensitive eyes. I. I like, I'm so hyper aware of them, especially when I do have a lot of makeup on and, like, I really try and. And get in there and I got all the sprays and the wipes and all the things because of my Chalazian that I had for like, six months. But I feel sty coming on. Oh.
Fran Mariano
Oh, no, not Ekinsu.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, no, not the.
Fran Mariano
Not the Charizard.
Ria Ciuffo
Seriously. Thankfully, it doesn't feel like that, but it does feel like a. It does feel like a sty.
Fran Mariano
Well, I'm sorry.
Ria Ciuffo
It's tough, tough, tough.
Fran Mariano
But I know it all makes up for it because Jonas Kahn was absolutely amazing.
Ria Ciuffo
It was.
Fran Mariano
I mean, to give a little background, I think we were obviously a bit nervous about how this was going to go down. Um, you know, I think we. Everyone. It's the first time they're doing something like this, so I think we were nervous. I think everybody was a little bit nervous and it turned out spectacular. I mean, just from. Because I. To get into the. The part of, like, you being such a big fan your entire life and like, how this is literally a dream come true just from a career perspective. It was really awesome for us to be fully trusted in this capacity, like, for career wise, to get on stage and to host something this large and this big in front of thousands of people. And we've done live shows before in front of huge crowds, but never this large. And to be trusted at this level by, you know, a huge management team, the hu. The Jonas Brothers team, everybody who worked at Jonascon really was something special. Career wise as the career highlight. Like, to. To get on stage and to. To do something like that was just so incredibly cool and rewarding. And I felt so proud of us that we pulled something off like that. It's just incredible. Like, it was. Is really a career highlight. Just taking away the fandom of it all. Just very, very cool and accomplished and proud of us and how far we've come.
Ria Ciuffo
It's a great, A great resume booster. It is that.
Fran Mariano
That's what I really felt. I was like, this is so great for us, like, as a show for our careers and just to keep growing and to do things at higher levels each year. It feels just really cool. And I'm so grateful that we got to be a part of it on that level. And then on the level of like, holy shit, can your younger self believe you're on stage with the Jonas brothers talking about 20 years? Like, it is actually insane.
Ria Ciuffo
It really, it. It really was. And I think just having a full hours long, really, both of these sessions that we were so busy in these, in the moments, and it was go, go, go, go, go. That I didn't even really process it fully because we had a bunch of other different interviews. We were focused on one thing. We're moving on to the next. And it was like, bam. We just. The Jaws brothers were in between, and they were on the stage, off the stage doing all these things that it felt really, really cool to kind of look at it all last night when I got home and just think, like, oh, my God, I can't believe that we got to do all that. And some background on just the event too, because it was at the American Dream Mall. And if you're not from this area, you're like, oh, a mall. You know? Like, you don't know.
Fran Mariano
Right.
Ria Ciuffo
The American Dream Mall is unlike any other mall there is. Yeah, truly. Like, the American Dream Mall is a experience. It's an amusement park. It's a mall. It's a. Like, you can do everything at the spa. There's a water park. There's a ski slope. There's. There's so many. There's like, there's literally an amusement park as well. There's a roller coaster. Like, there's so many things that you can do. So them taking over that space was really, really cool. Like, we are the sky stage was over. Ice rink.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, that's. That's what they did. They covered that up. And so it was just kind of crazy seeing how the event was run. Like, kudos to them because it was just a lot of different things going on, a lot of different ups and downs. And if you were at the water park, we're watching the feed of the, of the live feed on the TVs down in the green room. And you know, there's thousands of people. Everyone's in their bathing suits. They're in the water, splashing around. Listening to Jones brothers, I truly couldn't.
Fran Mariano
Believe it my eyes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I know, and I wish we got.
Ria Ciuffo
To go over and see it. We just didn't. We, we, we were, we were go.
Fran Mariano
Go, go the whole time. I mean, the way that the sessions broke up for the people that weren't there. There were two sessions. So one that was in the morning, one was in the afternoon. And we got on stage, we welcomed everybody to Jonas Con. The sky stage, which is the main stage, welcomed everybody to Jonas Con Intro, Big Rob introed Franklin Jonas his performances. We interviewed the some, you know, cast members from Camp Rock. We then we went into the Jonas Brothers portion. Then the Jonas Brothers performed and then it was a little break and then we did session two. We ran the whole thing back, plus more. We did an interview with Big Time Rush. We did an interview with the All American Rejects and then again with the Jonas Bellers. So we did two separate interviews with Jonas Bellers, watched them perform twice, which was incredible. And it's just crazy to think about, like, be like younger self being so obsessed with Disney and like, obviously, you know, the Jonas Spellers, but like also Camp Rock. That's what I'm saying. Like, I at one point, like had an out of body experience while we were on stage with Camp Rock and I was like. And we were watching the video package of Camp Rock and everyone was screaming about it and I was like, oh my God. Like I had a flashback while I was sitting there to watching Camp Rock for the first time in my friend's basement. And I was like, this is just like an outer body experience and you kind of just go through the motions and like you said, when you get home at night and weirdly, and I want to know how you feel because obviously different, you know, feelings here. When we were on stage with the Jonas Brothers, it was the calmest I felt the entire day.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I don't know why I felt so comfortable and calm with them. Like, did you feel that way? I'm curious of how you were feeling because we didn't talk about it.
Ria Ciuffo
I am one, maybe like one more event away from being like, we're friends. I agree. Like, I'm not there. I'm not there yet.
Fran Mariano
A month ago I was saying they were mean to us and they're not. They're very nice. They couldn't have been sweeter.
Ria Ciuffo
No, they're the best. A month ago. Yeah. No, I, I think, like, I'm, I'm, I'm almost there where it's like. But no, they're so Sweet. They remember everything. They were like, this is so fun that we get to do this. And, you know, they. They are mega, mega, megastars, and they have so much going on that, like, all the little things and little correspondences, like, they're not running those things. They have massive teams. They do all these things. And it's just cool to, like, have that moment where I really did. I felt like I was like, you know, one more, one more. Sit down. When we can really. When we can, like, joke around them and have some fun, then I'll be like, you know what? I think we're pals. I agree. You know what? I think maybe they would say we're pals already.
Fran Mariano
I think so.
Ria Ciuffo
But that's a me thing.
Fran Mariano
Fran, I. You know what? I think you're spot on because I think that the first session, I think everyone was, you know, making sure everything was going smoothly and whatnot. And then the second session, it felt like everybody had loosened up. We were joking around with them. The.
Ria Ciuffo
I was the most comfortable, by the way. I was the most comfortable with them on stage.
Fran Mariano
I was. Yeah, that was my question. Were you nervous or were you calm? Because weirdly, I had a sense of calm on stage with them.
Ria Ciuffo
I did, too. Cause I also think we do. Like, we know them and it's not our first time talking to them. And I think we were.
Fran Mariano
We spent an entire day with them touring a brewery.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I just. I think with. And we know how. I also think because I have watched and listened to so many of their interviews that I kind of know their vibe and how they manage interviews and things like that, which is super, super helpful. We were also talking to a lot of people that we haven't met before. So that's always different. You're trying to gauge their vibe and how they are feeling in that moment. So, like, you know, we've never met Big Time Rush. Like, we've never met the other cast members from Camp Rock. And everybody was lovely. I thought, like, every interview was so great and everybody was having an absolute blast. But I think when the Jonas Brothers came up, it was like, oh, okay. Nah, the guys are here.
Fran Mariano
You know, we're just chatting with old friends.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, exactly.
Fran Mariano
You know what's so funny? I saw girls writing like, wait, we wanna see the hug between Nick and Fran. Because it got cut out.
Ria Ciuffo
It got cut out. Wait, I got so many DMs from girls being like, oh, my God, I can't believe Nick snubbed you like that. And I was like, it's Just not in the video.
Fran Mariano
He didn't snub you. He hugged you first.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And in my TikTok vlog that I posted, I was like, well, I gotta give the people what they want. Like, I gotta put in. But someone was blocking it. I think either Kevin or Joe was standing in front. So it. Like, you only saw it a little bit.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yes. No, they. They were. They were so kind. They are, they're so. They're very kind, very thankful. Like, each time they came up, they were like, thank you guys so much for doing this. Very appreciative.
Fran Mariano
They kept shouting out chicks in the office. We have a lot of sound bites.
Ria Ciuffo
And they. I'm wearing our. Our merch. Our merch, which is still on sale online. Joe was like, you got. We got a collab in the store. Like the whole thing.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
That was really awesome. Really, really awesome.
Fran Mariano
We'll be putting our interviews with.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. That's why it's tough. I don't want to give away. Like, we won't give away. We were saying with them and. And you could have live streamed it. So if you did that, you would have heard it as well. But we want to put it out there too.
Fran Mariano
We will be putting out the two sessions that we did with them. It was two separate 15 minute sessions that we'll combine together. So just to put that out there. And then we'll put the one with the Camp Rock members as well too. But that will be sometime this week. We're waiting to get the files back for that.
Ria Ciuffo
But some things may sound a little repetitive because we did. And maybe we'll edit around it a little bit or we'll just put it all out there, whatever we decide to do. But because there were two separate sessions and it was completely new group of people, obviously for each session it was. There were some. Some repeats because, you know, they're promoting, they have a new tour and you. They were making all these big announcements. So we wanted to make sure that they touched on those things for the new crowd as well, who maybe didn't hear it previously.
Fran Mariano
Making it in time for McDonald's breakfast is the best feeling. And let me tell you, I've had no shortage of time the past two days. Waking up early. I've had plenty of time to make before the end of McDonald's breakfast. And that feeling is unbeatable. You can make a breakfast taco with a big breakfast breakfast, which is actually really good. Sausage, egg and cheese McGriddles. Bacon, egg and cheese McGriddles. The McMuffins, bacon, egg, cheese on a bagel, hotcakes, hash browns. They. And you know the hash browns are the absolute best. We all know it. Come on, let's be honest. They have the best hash browns. You can't just get one, you got to get two or three. And I won't even judge you if you get four because I understand. To wake up and get McDonald's breakfast. Make sure, make sure you wake it up on time. Okay. You don't want to miss out. You do not want to miss out on getting McDonald's breakfast because breakfast also always comes first. That's how you start your day. What better way to start your day with some yummy, delicious breakfast. So wake up, it's time for McDonald's breakfast.
Ria Ciuffo
No, it was great. And they made some massive announcements last night as well. They. I don't know how they do it, man. Rock stars. I give them a lot of credit. My God, they were at the mall early, ready to go. And when I tell you they were just going from one thing to the next. The sky stage, the beach, to the beach to the sky stage, to the, to the GA stage, to the Z100 stage, down. Like they were non stop all day long. Interviews, performances, everything. And then they put on like a full blown concert, basically. I mean, they were saying they were doing shows all day. I mean they did like five, what, six songs for each session at the sky stage. And then they were on stage for two hours around that for session three, which they also did at the Ice Ring the sky stage which was like 8:00 at night. And they did that all night and they had more announcements. I'm like, oh my God, this is like Nick's day off. My God, the man's on Broadway. Give it a rest.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, they props to them. I mean, they have to be absolutely exhausted. I saw Kevin Jonas doing school drop off this morning, which is so cute. I mean, the whole thing is it was so cool to be a part of, like, seriously, it's one of those things. And you mentioned like going home, laying in bed.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Looking back at it all, when we were leaving, we both said to each other, like, it's going to take a little bit of time to digest what happened yesterday because there's so many different levels to it. Like there. It's so many different levels. Like levels to get. No idea. Yeah, exactly. There's so many different levels. It's like, yeah, career wise, fandom wise, performance wise, getting to be front row, watching them perform, just like being A fan, like, a lot to take in and just so cool. But like, we're still. I think we're still processing because it was just yesterday and I'm sure you're still trying to gather your feelings about like, holy shit.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I. When we got there yesterday and it was about to start and everything, like, I looked at you and I was like, this might be the best day of my life. That was before it even started. I was like, just thinking, just like gathering my thoughts, like, where this could go for the rest of the day. I was like, this could really be one of the best days. And it really was. I was laughing because I did see Kevin in an interview talk about, like, they were talking about dad life and Nick was talking about it, and then Kevin was like, you know, I've got a. I got a preteen now who's all about the clout. And like, she. He was saying that she was like, dad, like, can I get a box for my friends for the Metlight? Like, it's just like all the things are just, just. It's just really so funny. But it was. And they got so much coming up. They are working their butts off for sure that the session three, they announced Joe's solo album. We have a date for that, May 23rd. And then they have a live album in June and then a full blown new Jonas Brothers album in August, August 8th, right before they start this new tour, Jonas 20 Living the Dream Tour, which is gonna be a MetLife August 10th. So, my God, it's gonna be. It's gonna be a lot. It's very exciting time for us Jonas fans. There were so many announcements. I was like, oh, my God. I was at home watching the live stream of the announcements and I was so excited to see everything that's coming up this year. They announced like the holiday movie and some other things. And, you know, it's really cool.
Fran Mariano
I thought it was super cool because just seeing the fandom stay with them for 20 years, obviously, you know, so many artists are lucky to have that and it's really cool to see. But to think about those small appearances they would make. Many other artists, celebrities did the same thing at malls, which is why I thought it was super cool. They did it at a mall. And I think people, like, wondered why a mall in New Jersey. Well, they're from New Jersey. And also think about showing up to your local mall when you found out, like, your favorite celebrity was gonna be there. Like, yeah, it's that sort of vibe, which I think is really Cool. It was just. It was, it was, yeah, like insane.
Ria Ciuffo
I know they were talking about doing a lot of countries, which they absolutely should. It's good. The people flew from all around the world. Brazil to be there. Like, yeah.
Fran Mariano
Canada, all over Peru.
Ria Ciuffo
I saw some. There were some Italians in the front row of the sky stage in the first set. Like, I'm just. It's really.
Fran Mariano
Pass it to the Italians.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's just, it's just. It's so impressive and so much fun to see the fans all get together because there really is just a love and appreciation for them. And I felt that talking about them and talking with them and seeing everybody's reactions and it's. It really is such a cool, unbelievable, like, out of body moment where you're just. I jump in and out of it because people always ask me, they're like, oh, my God, how are you so calm? How are you? I'm like, well, it is my job. Like, I am. I hope to think a professional. As much as I geek out and freak out behind the scenes. Like, I'm not gonna melt in front of them. Although there are times when I. Especially when I watch videos back, I'm like, ooh, I can see my. I can see my face. I can see I'm losing it a little bit there. You know, there's certain moments naturally, but like you said, just career wise of how cool it was and such an amazing opportunity that I had that in my head so much of, like, I wanna prove that we can do something like this and do it well and be organized and calm and thoughtful and ask great questions and really have that. And I was so focused on that that it makes such a big difference. You know, you come home, you think about it, I'm like, oh, my God. I just am really proud of us and myself and you and the things that we've done and getting to do and finish an opportunity like this and speak with them and reminisce on them. Being a band for 20 years and having those early memories of going to shows and having our friends there with us, that was really, really cool. I mean, your neighbors that are massive, massive, massive fans got to be there. And Claire was able to come with me, which was amazing. And we just have shared so many memories. Like at one point Kevin had redirected and said, like, you know, friend, like, what is your first moment that you realized, like, oh, you were a Jonas Brothers fan. And, you know, I have nine, nine million different stories, but, like, those. I didn't go into as many Details when I talked about it. Cause it's like, I'm not gonna. I'm trying to talk to them, you know, it's not about me up there. I'm like, I'll tell my story, but let's think. But there was. And this was, you know, this was kind of my answer. But the 2008 Burning Up Tour was so impactful. And I loved, like, it was just like seeing them in concert. I was like, yep, that's it. I love them so much. Like, this is like, this is amazing. And it was a show I was at with Claire. And I just think, like, going back, I have the memories of being in her house after. And we had like our digital camera and we're like taking selfies, like with our tour shirts. And we were like playing the music and listening, like just being so excited and into it and having those flashback moments while doing this and talking about that is. Is so crazy. And you know, and I still. I go back and forth where I'm like doing that and then like Nick's like, oh, you know, I'm on the last five years. It's been so nice like doing the show. It's been so nice having family and friends come see it. And I was like, yeah, I was there. Thanks for acknowledging friends and family coming. Because he's like, oh, you were like, sure was.
Fran Mariano
You're a friend. You were there.
Ria Ciuffo
Which, by the way, really cool show. I don't know, I was not super familiar with like the last. I never. I didn't see the movie. But of course when you. The movie is different because it's a feature length film. This show was like an hour and a half. Ish, give or take. No intermission, fully singing. It's just there's not a lot of really any that much dialogue. So it's different, it's unique, it's fun. It's really like vocal, vocal oriented, which is great. And I think his comedic timing was fantastic. I thought he was great. His acting was great, he sounded great. And she's fantastic too. Adrienne Warren, who. She also came out and sang Earth, Wind and Fire. They did a little September on the stage for session three, which I'm sad I missed because 21st night of September. That's my song.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. It's like Nick knew.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. He said, wow, I knew she got married on the 21st night of September.
Fran Mariano
He knew. He put that out there for you. No, I mean, I'm super proud of us for accomplishing what we did yesterday. Keeping our cool, keeping our Calm and really crushing it. Like, I thought we crushed it. Overall, I thought we did an amazing job of sort of putting together something that like never done before. We've never done before.
Ria Ciuffo
And I don't like, didn't really practice that much.
Fran Mariano
They. And they also didn't have like. Like we kind. We sort of put together, you know, a show there. We did Beatrian Fran on stage with, you know, some fan trivia with Jonas Bros trivia and you know, girls who follow and listen to chicks in the office. And I was just super proud of us and I'm super proud of you for, you know, accomplishing this. While also, like, you mentioned being so chill with the fact that you were on scene. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, you were so fucking chill about it, but on the inside, freaking out.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, yeah, I, I have my moments and it just goes back and forth and it is so funny because I was joking too with you. The night I could not fall asleep Saturday night, I was so excited and I. Of all the things I could be worrying about, I was like, oh gosh, like, because I was. I was all over my TikTok and I saw people posting like the merch and the store and everything you could get. And in my mind I was like, oh God, the lines are gonna be so crazy. How am I gonna get the merch? Like, like, that's what I thought. Fellow sleep worrying about like the, the. The fan girl lives in me and it's just like. And then it was also so funny is they were so busy, so they were running around. We didn't have any time to really chat. But after the second session when they were kind of transitioning everything around and they were going back out to perform and Kevin was like, oh, you know, thank you guys so much for being here. You like, you sticking around, you sticking around a little bit. Like, I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. The whole time in my mind I was like, oh, what did he mean by that? Like, you think, you think your friend.
Fran Mariano
Was like, what did he mean by that? And I was like, I think he just was being nice, just like trying to say something.
Ria Ciuffo
Because we didn't really. Like, we, we spoke on stage, but we didn't really have any, you know, time to. To catch up in between because they were getting pulled. They were on a strict schedule. Let's go. So very impressive that they stuck to that schedule all day because there were so many things by the time we got to the second session, they could have been so off timing wise and they really weren't at all.
Fran Mariano
Everything was on time. Like, spot on for what? The list that we had. Every. Everything was on time, so that was incredible. And I. Yeah, I thought there was a high chance that they were going to be like, no, you're not doing anything with the Jonas Brothers. Like, they're all over the place.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, this has been cut. This is.
Fran Mariano
Until yesterday, we thought. Up. Until we did the show yesterday, we thought, there's a chance that they just cancel all of our stuff. And, like, because the Jones brothers are so busy that, like, maybe we. They don't have time. But it all panned out. It all worked out seamlessly. And, yeah, it was just. It was just an incredible experience.
Ria Ciuffo
It really was. It really was.
Fran Mariano
And this is gonna. This is gonna live up there, you know, an amazing. An amazing start to 2025.
Ria Ciuffo
I've been saving, like, the video, although there's. We have tons of videos and stuff, and I've been, like, saving them to. To really go back and. And watch, because there is. It is a weird experience watching it back after, like, living it, and you have your feelings of how you sounded and behaved in your mind, and then you watch it back and you're like, oh, wait, I. I hate.
Fran Mariano
No, I hate every video of what I saw of me on stage. I was like, oh, that's what I sound like. That's how I. Whatever. But it is what it is in the moment.
Ria Ciuffo
In the moment.
C
In the moment.
Fran Mariano
We're crushing this. But, yeah, we're just not gonna watch any videos back and then hope for the best. But, no, I love. I hope anybody listening was there, had a great time. Yeah, you know, we. We met a lot of wonderful, lovely people that said they were custom merch.
Ria Ciuffo
Made by you guys, which was amazing.
Fran Mariano
So cool.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah. The. The. And it was so comforting looking out and seeing some familiar faces of our listeners, either whether, you know, put something on their phone or, like, signs or, you know, our people, we're here. Which fel.
Fran Mariano
It did feel good because before we went out there, I did mention. I was like, what if all of these people hate us because they don't know who we are? And they're like, who are these two random girls on the stage? Why am I at this stage right now? And that was not the case. Everyone was super warm, welcoming, inviting. It seemed like everyone had a good time, and we couldn't be more thankful that we were part of it. So thank you to the Jonas Wellers.
Ria Ciuffo
Thank you to the team, and seriously, so exciting. And we'll Put everything out there that we have on Wednesday's episode is gonna be the kind of plan so can re. Listen to all of those fun moments and have that footage and enjoy. Yes.
Fran Mariano
And then hopefully we'll.
Ria Ciuffo
Hopefully to watch it back too.
Fran Mariano
Hopefully we'll have like a good, you know, real sit down with them podcast style.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, would love to.
Fran Mariano
Hopefully soon, maybe before their tour. That would be. That would be really cool. We're just putting that out in the universe.
Ria Ciuffo
Put that energy out.
Fran Mariano
That energy out there.
Ria Ciuffo
Come sit on the couch.
Fran Mariano
That'd be sick. To just have them here right in the studio. That'd be amazing.
Ria Ciuffo
There was one video that the Jonas Brothers Social, like the Jonas Brothers Instagram account posted that really I have re watched like 50 times and, like, brought a. A slight tear to my eye. Was like, they were up on the second level and it was a pan of like the full crowd and then us on stage with them, and I was just like, oh, my God, this is so sick.
Fran Mariano
It was so sick. And it actually gave me a lot more confidence for us to do even bigger things. Like, like, I mentioned our live shows and we've had crowds that are, you know, close to 2,000, I would say is the. Is the biggest crowd we've had for a live show. But I don't know the number there yesterday, but I know it was more than that. And it. It just gave me a lot more confidence, you know, to be able to accomplish these things and. And be like, yeah, we do deserve to be here and we do deserve to have, you know, opportunities like this. Not just with Jonas Con, but hopefully more in the future. People will come to us and trust us with these. With these things because we. We do know what we're doing, and it's. It's nice to be reminded of that. So, yeah, it was. It was awesome and excited for everybody.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Fran Mariano
To listen to. Listen on Wednesday.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly. Thank you to the brothers.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Thank you to the brothers.
Fran Mariano
Yes, of course. Oh, my gosh. I was actually. So when Kevin flipped it on you, I was like, this is so cute. Like, I was like. I was like, that's so Kevin.
Ria Ciuffo
It was so Kevin.
Fran Mariano
When Kevin.
Ria Ciuffo
It was very.
Fran Mariano
Not to give anyone, but, like, when Kevin was like, I'm gonna interrupt, and like, we're used to being interviewed, but, like, I'm gonna. Fran.
Ria Ciuffo
What? And I was like, yeah.
Fran Mariano
And I was like, that is so sweet of Kevin. Like, it's just a Kevin move. And I loved it. It was all right. But enough about that because we'll put it out on.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, I know, I know.
Fran Mariano
All right, let's get into talk about it for days. Yeah, we could, we could. All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We're going to be talking about Selena Gomez's new album, released on Friday, produced by Benny Blanco. Jennifer Aniston was seen at Sunset Tower Bar in la, leaving with Pedro Pascal. Ooh, Cheyne Tatum, maybe new girlfriend. And also, are Noah set tonight? And Zoe Kavitz doing a movie together or are they dating? We're still trying to find out. And we have the weekly watch. So let's get into the topics.
Ria Ciuffo
They don't make it easy to buy concert tickets these days, guys. You all know it. You gotta sign up for the pre sale, get in the queue and then by the time you get through, the best seats are gone. You've heard me rant and rave about this time and time again. Going to a concert should be about the show itself, not waiting in a virtual line. Lucky for us, we have Game Time, the official taking partner of Barstool Sports. Game Time makes any tickets faster and easier. Prices on the app actually go down the closer it gets to showtime. Plus the Game Time Picks feature makes it even easier to find the great deals on the seats you want. Just pull up your chosen event and turn on the GT Pick setting at the top of the screen. Or browse the best local Game Time Picks deals near you on your GameTime app homepage. I've had my eye on tickets. I've brought it up many times, but this summer when Gracie Abrams is in town, I'm eyeing those ones. And you know the Jones brothers just announced a massive tour, so certainly going to be watching out for those too. So what are you waiting for? It is time to get those tickets now with Game Time Picks. Take the guesswork out of buying tickets with Game Time. Download the Game Time app, create an account and use code chicks for $20 off. Your first purchase terms apply. Once again, create an account and redeem code chicks for $20 off. Download the game Time app today. What time is it? Game Time.
Fran Mariano
Selena Gomez released her new album I said I love you first on Friday. Produced by Benny Blanco. They've been doing a lot of press together. I love it. I actually can't get enough of watching their interviews. I think they're super cute together and I just love how much he supports her and she seems to be so in love. So I think they're great and I can't get enough. I really love this album, like really really good. I really love a lot of songs on this album. Not that I'm surprised because some old Selena Gomez songs are a fucking jam. Like Hands to Myself was like my favorite song for a long time, but Benny Blanco also. Oof. Yeah. A classic. Benny Blanco is also an incredible producer. Like he has produced some of the greatest hits.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Fran Mariano
So, you know, not super surprised. I just wasn't sure. I was indifferent at first of how I was going to feel about it. But there are some songs I really love on there.
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, I think there's so much too. And I was saying this to you about it also with Benny Blanco is, you know, his name, you know he's a producer and you know he's done some massive, massive songs. But like the. When you really look at the list, it is so impressive how many songs he has had his hands on and just been involved in that are just pop hits. And the two of them working together, Benny and Selena really is a fantastic pairing. I know there was probably a time when maybe they wouldn't have been working together so much, you know, but he does, he did do a lot of Justin Bieber songs and I know that especially on Tick Tock, a lot is being dissected. The lyrics are getting dissected. A lot of people want to pull things back to Justin Haley again and certain moments. And I think like Selena's had to dismiss one or two things, I think. But at this point it's, it's, it is crazy because no matter what it's gonna. People are gonna try and make those connections. Selena has always been very vulnerable and very personal with her lyrics, I think, and it's such a outlet for her that sometimes maybe it gets used against her in almost like a Taylor Swift type way of like, oh my God, this has got to be about this and this situation and this thing and this, that, that, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I think with like the bigger conversation of what's been going on and everything that's. People have been saying about Haley right now online and how that's been going on. It's just like having this on top of it has been the, the Internet's really run wild with, with certain things and certain songs. For sure they have.
Fran Mariano
And I'll tell you, the songs are great. The songs are, the songs are really good. There are some personal favorites I think a lot of people love right now. Don't take it personally. I think people love that younger and hotter than me. I Can't Get Enough. The one with J. Balvin, I really love that.
Ria Ciuffo
Sunset Boulevard she released, like, as it, you know, came out before the whole album came out. But love that one.
Fran Mariano
I think there's so many great songs on this album.
Ria Ciuffo
Blue and Flame. I also love too Blue is Fame, like, kind of has a little, like, dance.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Beat to it.
Fran Mariano
I can't wait to give it another listen through. I've listened to it, I want to say twice now through.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And I can't wait to keep listening to it. I think it's. I think it's really good. And I'm happy that she released it because I think if people recall, she talked, maybe it was this time last year or around within the last year. She said, like, she's not meant to be a pop star anymore.
Ria Ciuffo
She said she was done.
Fran Mariano
She was like, I'm done. I'm 30 something years old. Like, I'm not a pop star anymore. Da, da da, da. And then. And, you know, I would assume, you know, Benny inspired something in her and was like, let's release this music. And I think she mentioned that. So I think it's really cool she put it out. I'm glad she did. And I think it's awesome. I think there are some really good songs on this album.
Ria Ciuffo
I agree. And it's really very sweet. And even just the first, it's curated in a really cool way too. Just the flow of it. And it opens, like I said, I love you first when you play that first song, you know, if you even want to call that. But it's just an old audio clip of Selena during that time, like, of wizards rapping and just her thoughts and feelings at that time. And it was really. It's like, it was very sweet. And she's, you know, everything she said was so sweet in that moment too.
Fran Mariano
Did you see that she sold her wand for $4?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Why would she sell it?
Ria Ciuffo
I don't know. I think it was for some.
Fran Mariano
Like, she didn't want to.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I don't know. Like, I don't. I only saw the wand sold for $4.
Fran Mariano
I just sold it on her website for $4.
Ria Ciuffo
Is it a replica or is it the wand?
Fran Mariano
I gotta look because when I first saw it and I clicked it, it was like, wizards wand.
Ria Ciuffo
I remember seeing the headline too, but I didn't really see.
Fran Mariano
And I was like, why wouldn't she keep it for memorabilia?
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Oh. Selena Gomez sold her Alex Russo wand for a surprising amount. The same wand she used as Alex Russo. Only $4. The sale was part of a rare beauty campaign. That included personal memorabilia and other exclusive Selena items, all listed at a shockingly affordable price.
Ria Ciuffo
There you go.
Fran Mariano
She previously sold a custom diamond ring originally worth 3, 200. Around that. 3,200. 500 for just $12.
Ria Ciuffo
Just really want to make it accessible for fans.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. And that wand just.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. What an absolute snag for whoever. For whoever got that right.
Fran Mariano
I mean, that's so special. I wonder why she put that up there, you know, not. She didn't want to keep it for memorabilia. That's fine.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
But what a snag. Like, being the person who's like, did I just get this for $4?
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Fran Mariano
You're like, that can't be right.
Ria Ciuffo
That's so cool.
Fran Mariano
You mean 4,000, 40,000. 400,000.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I wouldn't be surprised if it's sold for, like, $40,000.
Ria Ciuffo
No, totally. You could auction that bad boy offer for sure. For sure. For getting a lot of money. But, yeah, no, I. That. That was just. Maybe there's. Maybe there's just something. She's like, I'm. I've made my piece. Time to let this go. Go to a fan. They'll love it. And, you know, they can. They can buy it, but, you know, the album's great. Very happy. She is still doing the music. And I think that. And we've said this before, but I think it is a testament to her relationship and how good the two of them feel together. That they both obviously love music is both a passion for both of them. And to have their relationship seamlessly create this art and work and have it be so, you know, click so well is because they click so well. So that's great. And I feel like, you know, maybe with previous producing partners or anything like that, like, you don't know.
Fran Mariano
You.
Ria Ciuffo
If you have. You make the magic like that. And I think they. They have that. And yeah, the interviews are so cute. Like you said before, too. I watched them on Hot Ones. I loved it.
Fran Mariano
Oh, yeah. That was so.
Ria Ciuffo
I thought that was great. They were cracking me up on Jimmy Fallon playing that game where, you know, you're supposed to, like. Like, if decided the person's lying or not. And then did you see that clip where it was something about Millie Bobby Brown's wedding and Betty Blanca was like, who's Millie Bobby Brown?
Fran Mariano
I know. Which I kind of was shocked by because he said he's not even know what pop culture right now.
Ria Ciuffo
But then it was like, he was like, oh, the girl from Stranger Things got it. Like, it's just like sometimes People names and. And things like that. It's.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Even when you're in it, you don't fully.
Fran Mariano
I was just confused. They're like, grasp. You know what I mean? Like, you're in the know. You are, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
No, he certainly should be in the know.
Fran Mariano
For sure.
Ria Ciuffo
He's not.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, maybe not.
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe he's not. Maybe he's not. So. No. So happy for them. And the album is awesome. So.
Fran Mariano
Such a great album. Can't wait to keep listening.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
On a totally unrelated note, Jennifer Aniston.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, we should mention.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my.
Ria Ciuffo
While we're recording.
Fran Mariano
Yes. It just dropped as we were recording that Miley Cyrus is releasing a new album called something beautiful on May 30th. Amazing. Can't wait. Lady Gaga. By the way, we never reviewed Lady Gaga's album Love. Love Lady Gaga's album. Love Selena's album. And I'm sure we're gonna love Miley's album that's out May 30th. Cannot wait to listen to that.
Ria Ciuffo
I.
Fran Mariano
The new Miley album.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm like, oh, I know. Thank you. Right before the summer.
Fran Mariano
It's amazing. I'm like, it's gonna be amazing.
Ria Ciuffo
Some summer jams on there.
Fran Mariano
Maybe that's what she. She knows what she's doing.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, she does.
Fran Mariano
So.
Ria Ciuffo
She does.
Fran Mariano
Super excited for that.
Ria Ciuffo
It's always different, though. You never know what kind of like Miley has transformed herself time and time again. And her muse, you know, sometimes the album. Her albums have different sounds and whatnot. So I'm excited, really excited to see what this one sounds like. Highly anticipated ninth student album Something Beautiful album features 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Miley Cyrus and Sean Everett. Captured by Renown. The. The photo. The album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Muller Couture, a striking nod to the album's bold aesthetic and visual storytelling. Love, you could have said anything there.
Fran Mariano
And I would have said that. I love it.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, right? I don't even, really, like, know what fully what that means, but I'm excited for it.
Fran Mariano
But I'm listening to it. I'm there. Yep. Moving on. Jennifer Aniston, Pedro Pascal seen leaving Sunset Tower bar in la. I mean, what a pair.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
What a duo. Like, I mean, right? That's. That's a duo I wouldn't have put together in my head. Like, I. I don't know. Like, but it's a duo to me that I'm like, wait, that makes a ton of sense.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And I love it.
Ria Ciuffo
A Three hour dinner date on Saturday.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my God. I got goosebumps. I actually just got goosebumps.
Ria Ciuffo
The duo were photographed exiting West Hollywood's Tower bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel together and chatting outside the valet area. Three hour dinner. The actress, 56 pair. She just talked about it. Right. He's 49.
Fran Mariano
Can I make a statement that.
Ria Ciuffo
I think that would be a great pairing. Social media users gushed over the hot pairing. Everybody freaking out, saying they were here for this. Another speculated that the actor will be featured in the morning show.
Fran Mariano
Oh, womp, womp.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I need. I mean, he could still be appearing in the morning. They're having a little chemistry.
Fran Mariano
They could have made it hit over.
Ria Ciuffo
A, over a dinner.
Fran Mariano
I wanted to just say like a statement really quickly that I think I smiled so much yesterday. I can't smile today regularly. Like, I'm having like a. Trouble forming a normal.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Fran Mariano
Smile. Yeah, I just tried to smile and I was like, whoa. Like, I think you could probably see my face sort of malfunction a little bit last night. I need to do jaw exercises.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I, I actually have to do the same last night. I kept making weird faces. Like, just, I think just because my face was literally sore.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, no, I, that's what I'm feeling.
Ria Ciuffo
Joe was like, are you good? Like, I was like, we had the basketball on the TV and I was like moving my jaw around, just zoning out. Just like completely zoning out. And he just looked at me, was like, what are you doing? And I was like, I didn't even realize what I was doing. I was like, I was like, I don't know, like, my face hurts.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, I just had that happen, like mid podcast. I was like, am I, is my mouth moving? Am I talking right now? Like, what's truly. What's going on? Yeah, but listen, if Pedro Pascal is, you know, talk with Jennifer Aniston about a role in the morning show, well, then that's spectacular.
Ria Ciuffo
Okay.
Fran Mariano
I think that's great. A good cast, whatever. But I'm hoping if they were talking about the morning show, that they really hit it off and they threw his character out the window and said, no, no, no, we're actually just gonna date. Because when you. When I heard a three hour dinner date at Sunset Tower. Okay, here's the thing though. It's Sunset Tower. Sunset Tower is the place you go to have a business meeting and to be seen. And to be seen and to, you.
Ria Ciuffo
Know, like, you know you're gonna be seen.
Fran Mariano
We went to Sunset Tower.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And Sofia Ritchie's Husband was there. He walked by, like everyone's. Yeah, someone's always there. We also saw Paul Rabel.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
No, I. I'm just. I. I just do. I just remember that. That wasn't like. I wasn't being like, oh, my God, huge celebrity. I just was saying that because, yes, he was there.
Ria Ciuffo
He was.
C
Sophia Richie's husband was there when we were there.
Fran Mariano
He, like, walked by or something. You remember that?
C
I missed that we.
Ria Ciuffo
I didn't see him either. I wasn't.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, someone's always there.
Ria Ciuffo
No, for sure, for sure.
Fran Mariano
I didn't mean it like that.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I'm just laughing. I was like. I thought you were about to say something totally different. Then you're like.
Fran Mariano
And no, I was more like. I just remembered on the spot, like. And Paul Rabel was there, which was weird.
C
Like, Pedro Jennifer. Paul Rabel.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Elliot Granger.
Fran Mariano
I'm realizing now how. How absurd I sound, but.
Ria Ciuffo
No, it's.
Fran Mariano
It's like business deal place. Like people go to like, talk about whatever. Whatever.
Ria Ciuffo
No, you're.
Fran Mariano
What I'm saying right now.
Ria Ciuffo
You're right. All right. You're right.
Fran Mariano
Whatever.
Ria Ciuffo
But if a potential romance there would absolutely be upset.
Fran Mariano
It would be great. But I think that they would probably go somewhere else for a date.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Maybe not. Maybe they both love the Sunset Tower. It's a cool spot. And they. This is good drinks. So maybe they thought it was a good place for drinks.
Ria Ciuffo
I love his new. His new AirPods commercial. Have you guys seen it?
Fran Mariano
No.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like, oh, my God. When it comes, it's. It's very catchy. I don't even know how to really describe it.
Fran Mariano
I can't give a rating, but it's like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. He whispers.
Fran Mariano
It's like a. Oh, that's nice. Speaking of whispering, I wrote this down in my notes and I forgot to bring it up. Lady Gaga did a W Magazine ASMR video. It's about 17 minutes long. It's perfect amount of time. And I fallen asleep to it twice in the past week.
Ria Ciuffo
Amazing.
Fran Mariano
It's gorgeous. She's really good.
Ria Ciuffo
I would imagine she would crush that.
Fran Mariano
It was really, really good. So anyways, Paul Pa. I mean, Paul Pedro. Pedro Pascal and Pascal and Jennifer aniston and his AirPod Marshall.
Ria Ciuffo
We're keeping our. We're keeping our eye on these two.
Fran Mariano

Channing Tatum does seem to have a new girlfriend. Inca Williams, she's a 25 year old model that, you know, whoa. He's 44, pretends to be shocked. You know, that whole, that gif.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, no, the 20 year age difference. Shocking.
Fran Mariano
Wow. 25 year old model Channing Tatum. Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
Handsome middle aged actor dating a model.
Fran Mariano
Oh my gosh. Something we've never seen before. Never before done, never been done before, never. And then on the other side of that, no. Cincinnati And Zoe Kravitz. Are they dating or are they working on a film?
Ria Ciuffo
I don't know. It's. I feel like I just.
Fran Mariano
Pedro and Jennifer.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I feel like I have seen the same picture like four different times. You know, like it looks like it's the same energy in each instance in a, in a different night. It's like a dark New York City, but they're always.
C
And then now there's just like side characters.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. So now there was a photo that came out and it was them and it was. His first name is Michael James Gandolfini's son. And I could be making that up. And Kristen Miliotti were photographed together. And I was like, oh, Michael, is.
Fran Mariano
What sort of Italian film is being made?
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly, exactly. I was like, what kind of mob movies?
Fran Mariano
What kind of pies on film is going on?
Ria Ciuffo
Does Zoe have like, is she. Is she working up 100?
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I was like, we got Gandolfini, we.
Fran Mariano
Got Milioti, Noah Centineo.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Wow. That's an actually really good point. That Zoe Kravitz could just be working on like a mob movie.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
She could just be writing it up.
Ria Ciuffo
She could, she could one together.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, that sounds good. That's how. Yeah, yeah, I'm interested. Maybe I'm bought in. And if they're not, they should.
Ria Ciuffo
If they're.
Fran Mariano
If this isn't something they're working on, they should start.
Ria Ciuffo
Here's this. Oh, what about a Batman thing because she's Catwoman and, and she was just in the Penguin. It's the whole DC universe.
Fran Mariano
But then you're throwing Michael Gambasini and Noah Centennial.
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe, maybe if Robert Pattinson pops up the next time that they're all right, it's like.
Fran Mariano
And then, then this becomes less of an Italian film.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah. It could be more of an art piece. Be a Batman thing.
C
You have Colin Farrell walking around too.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
You never know.
Ria Ciuffo
You never know.
C
I mean, I wouldn't much to think about.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
I couldn't hate it at either avenue. It's going in. I either if it's, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right, right.
C
If it's Batman, she's giving like director energy in these walks and is she directing the next?
Ria Ciuffo
No, it's like she's giving powerful female in these photos.
C
But I'm saying like, it's like they're all kind of walking with her, you know.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, she's leading the charge. But I think if you're standing next to Zoe Kravitz, you're always just walking with her.
Ria Ciuffo
Totally.
Fran Mariano
You know, she's leading.
Ria Ciuffo
You're following her lead for sure.
Fran Mariano
I follow 100. So whether it's Batman, whether it's mob or whether it's them dating, I'm on board for.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm not ready to accept any other options.
Fran Mariano
Next up, Sunset Tower with Pedro and Jennifer and Paul Rebel and Elliot Grange. Big time meeting.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, goodness. But yeah, no, Channing Tatum, I guess was photographed with this and, and she's been around for a little bit. This new, this new girlfriend. Nothing like really nothing crazy. She's obviously adorable. 25 year old Australian model. They Were enjoying a late night dinner with friends and their dogs at Shay Jay in la. He did. I did see some. I did happen to come across some pictures of him recently where he was, what kind.
Fran Mariano
It was his Instagram and he said.
Ria Ciuffo
He was thankful for his genetics. Yeah. And he was like, I'm done taking.
Fran Mariano
Wait.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm done taking roles that I got to be fat. Wait, wait, wait. I don't know if he said fat, but that's how.
Fran Mariano
No, Fran, that is basically the right.
Ria Ciuffo
It was like the gist of it was it on his Instagram.
Fran Mariano
He posted on his Instagram. He posted three shirtless photos of himself. One where he's like his. You know, I think this is what Channing Tatum is used to. You know what I mean? Then the second one he has a little bit more weight on. And then the last one, he's super. He's skinny. So his caption was we back up. LOL. First photo is today 205. Second photo, 235 for a movie called Josephine. Then went to the third photo, which is 172 for a movie, Roofman. I'm so grateful for my genetics. Honestly, there's more to it, but I laughed so hard when I saw that. Grateful for my chef, nutritionist, witch. Grateful for my trainer. I couldn't make these big swings in my weight without you guys. But I won't be doing any more fat rolls. Haha.
Ria Ciuffo
No more fat rolls.
Fran Mariano
So it's too hard on the body and too hard to take off now. But damn, when I look at these pics, it's just wild with a human body and will can do.
C
It's funny because I just want to.
Fran Mariano
Say that different, but I also just want to say like, Channing, yes, you should be thankful for your genetics because it's actually not as easy as you just made it seem in all of that.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I know. I mean, he is saying he's great for all the people that help him. And honest, Noah, I think that's a crazy statement. There's drastic difference. But I'm just saying, like he's making 172. He looks. Looks really thin.
C
Yeah. But he's like, it's crazy what the human body can do. It's like there have been some crazy, like transformations.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, well, I think he's just saying.
Fran Mariano
Like going up, down, all around.
Ria Ciuffo
No, it's just very impressive. Like for every year if you're doing multiple different movie roles and you got to go up 30 pounds, down 30 pounds, get shredded, get like not Shredded.
Fran Mariano
A lot on the body.
Ria Ciuffo
Is. It really is. I mean, the pictures do.
C
I wouldn't know.
Ria Ciuffo
The pictures do show it. It. I mean, that last one is, like, jarring to me. I feel like he. Like, it looks like his head is his photo. Like, it looks like his head's on a different person's body. It's so crazy.
Fran Mariano
I mean, the caption made me die.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. No, I mean, like, he won't be doing any more.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. I'm so grateful for my genetics. I was like, so, so true, Channing. I think everyone is grateful for your.
Ria Ciuffo
Honestly, people like Channing Tatum should be outwardly more thankful for their genetics. They should, because they should. Like, it is genetics hot.
Fran Mariano
People like that should just be like, thank you.
Ria Ciuffo
Thank you, God. Yes. For my genetics, truly. Because it is so right. And I think especially, like, girls are so hard on themselves when they see, you know, pictures of these stunning, beautiful. You know, these models are. And you know, everybody. You're. You're beautiful in your. In your own way. But, like, for instance, I think everybody freaked out seeing Pete Davidson's new girlfriend. Whether you know her already or didn't. You're like, like, holy. Like crazy.
Fran Mariano
Her body's crazy. She should be like, I'm so thankful for my job. Right?
Ria Ciuffo
It's like. And you're just like, you gotta just toss that one up. You're like, no, Jeanette, like, that's. You're blessed. Yeah, you're blessed. You were genetically blessed for sure. And. And some people just get that kiss of the. You're. You're genetically blessed. Jenny Tatum.
Fran Mariano
He's.
Ria Ciuffo
He's saying it.
Fran Mariano
He's one of those people and he's.
Ria Ciuffo
Open about it, but we will not. Do not expect to see him in any fat roles.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, he's. Cut those out. None for him.
Ria Ciuffo
Crazy. Which. Also crazy, because if he's referring to him being 205 is like a fat roll.
Fran Mariano
No, I think. I think he's referring to 35, which, honestly, I don't even think. No, 205, I don't think he's referring to. I think he's saying.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, did he say 205?
Fran Mariano
Because today, 235, he's saying 235 is the second.
Ria Ciuffo
Which also.
Fran Mariano
He looks great.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I'm just saying. But he's laughing. He. You know. Yeah, that's not free. He did put. Haha.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Let's not forget.
C
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
We don't have to take it that seriously.
C
No, no, I think that was all just one Big excuse to post a self like a picture with a shirt.
Fran Mariano
Off where he looks sick.
Ria Ciuffo
The man doesn't need an excuse to post a shirtless photo. Nobody look at Channing Tatum's Instagram. You would know that if Channing Tatum.
Fran Mariano
Just posted a picture of himself shirtless. Nobody's going, why did Channing Tatum never. No, he doesn't need.
Ria Ciuffo
Never.
Fran Mariano
He doesn't need an explanation.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Fran Mariano
But I'm glad he gave us one. So thank you, Channing. And that wraps up the topics.
Ria Ciuffo

Welcome back to the Weekly Watch Report where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. White Lotus last night really fucked me up.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I think you and everybody else.
Fran Mariano
Damn. And I did see somebody say, like, let's not forget we all used to watch Game of Thrones every Sunday. You know, we've seen, we've seen some crazy shit.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
You know, you know what's gonna happen. You know, there's gonna be some brotherly love.
Ria Ciuffo
If you wanna.
Fran Mariano
That's what you're gonna call it. But seeing it so many times, so visually, I felt the way that Saxon felt when he first realized what he'd done, and he was like, gonna run and puke. I felt like. I honestly thought.
Ria Ciuffo
I was glad Saxon had that reaction. Same.
Fran Mariano
I was super. I was really glad Saxon had that reaction.
Ria Ciuffo
I feel like Lachl. No, some demons.
Fran Mariano
Lachlan is a freaky freak. And I think what we saw in this episode was a dynamic switch.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And they on. They actually changed what shorts they were wearing. Lachlan was wearing Saxon shorts. Saxon was wearing Lachlan. There's so many. There's so much that goes into the white.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. There's so many little details.
Fran Mariano
So sick. It's so cool.
Ria Ciuffo
You almost, like, have to rewatch the episodes a couple times to fully pick up everything.
Fran Mariano
I mean, Jason Isaacs with the Duke shirt and the gun in his hand during March Madness at the beginning of the episode, I looked at Matt and I was like, I mean, come on. Perfect. If they lose. And he's like, trust me. Everybody sends it to me. But the visuals. I just have to say I really felt what Saxon was feeling. And props to Patrick Schwarzenegger, because I feel like he really did a good job this episode.
Ria Ciuffo
No, he.
Fran Mariano
Because I feel like everybody felt what he was feeling. Probably just because it's gross in general. But, like, I just thought that he did a really good job. I mean, they're all incredible, but wow. Like, I don't know. I'm talking circles here. Because it just was a lot to digest, literally, like Lachlan. And this is what people are debating now after this episode. So I'm curious of your guys thoughts. This is what I think. I think he remembered what happened. I don't think he blacked out, but when he's in the monastery at the end, it looks like he's sort of remembering, but I think it's more just like coming to his conscience. It's more like he knew what happened, but it's more like, oh, wait, I'm not so comfortable with this anymore, you know?
Ria Ciuffo
Do you think he forgot it?
Fran Mariano
Cause I don't think he forgot it. Because when he said he blacked out, he was sort of smirking a little bit. Like. Like, if you watch it back, it seemed like he had a little.
C
Maybe, I think. I think that just the visuals became more clear, like in that moment.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
C
When he's. He probably just remembered loosely, like, what happened. I don't know.
Fran Mariano
I don't know if he remembered him putting his hand on his ass.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know.
Fran Mariano
I'm torn. Like, Like, I'm leaning towards. He did know.
Ria Ciuffo
I. I don't know. I. I think he remembered more than Saxon, for sure.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
And in that moment, I think when they're in the monastery, it's like. Is that what that's called? Yes.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
That they're like, he just has a second to actually stop and process what.
Fran Mariano
He remembers because he's meditating on it, and now it's all coming to his conscience and he's like, oh, yeah, I jerked off my brother.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, that's.
Fran Mariano
Gosh. I mean, wow. Yeah, it was a lot. It was a lot, but great tv. It was a great episode.
Ria Ciuffo
I thought it was. It was. It was wild. I. I did. I got a good laugh at. Patrick Schwarzenegger posted on Instagram, like, a ton of screenshots of Saxon, like, waking up in those moments. And Joe Jonas commented, like, I saw that.
C
I was like, Joe's already on his phone watching.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Fran Mariano
I had the same thought. I thought.
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, there's no way he. Why he. There's no way he could have seen the episode. But he wrote, oh, boy. And then comments by celebs reposted it. I was laughing because they made their caption. Oh, brother.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, smart.
Fran Mariano
It was a funny scene with the two girls and Saxon, and they're like, I. No drug in the world would make me, you know, do something with my brother.
C
A good scene. Because it was like he was trying to just deny it in his mind, but then all he needed was, like, one person to say out loud, like, what he did, and he's like, fuck.
Fran Mariano
I totally think he is going to kill somebody or kill himself. That's. I think.
C
I think someone from his family.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, I don't think he's going to be able to, like, live with this.
Ria Ciuffo
They're certainly making it seem like we could have a Jackson Jackson, a Jason Isaacs, like, murder suicide. He could kill them all.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, he could just kill the whole family. But I think Saxon, because when they. So it. It's Lachlan, like, meditating and sort of, you know, flashing back, and then Saxon is walking. And they didn't need to add this in. They did not need to add Saxon walking at all in this.
Ria Ciuffo
This.
Fran Mariano
In this point of the episode. But they show him walking, and then it's overlapping the gunshots from the gun range, and it changes scenes. And it was just weirdly cut into the middle of the two, the gunshots overlapping. I was like, he's gonna have something to do with it because of the gunshots overlapping which is what I thought in the second. That could be totally off. But that's a theory of mine. He's gonna have something. He's gonna kill somebody or he's gonna die.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Because I don't think he can live with what happened. And now the preview for next week. Is Lachlan gonna. Is Lachlan gonna.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
With the sister.
C
Now that is my biggest fear. When he said, I'll stay, I'm like, oh, no.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, that. That felt like it was. That something weird was happening there too, by the way. Also very bizarre. Like, Chloe really just being pretty normal about it. Like, being like, I hooked up with both of them. Like, what?
Fran Mariano
And why.
Ria Ciuffo
Why are you being so normal about this? She's.
Fran Mariano
She's being a weirdo.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Because she's being normal. But she's also.
Ria Ciuffo
There's something other. It's something else going on with her too, for sure.
Fran Mariano
And also, like, encouraging two brothers to hook up with each other. Like, that is bizarre as well. Like, all of it is weird. I mean, everybody's weird. So what's.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, Greg. Gary.
C
Greg is, like, trying to kill everyone.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I just.
Fran Mariano
And then you have Lori, Kate, and Jacqueline.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I mean, I don't know what's gonna happen with this friend group, but I love watching them.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I know. They may. I think they may never speak again after leaving Thailand.
Fran Mariano
They may never speak again. Or they may leave as besties, pretending like nothing ever happened.
C
It is funny, though, her being like, oh, well, you guys, like, aren't really friends if you're talking shit. But they say you were doing that yesterday.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Fran Mariano
That's what. It was so funny where you were like, classic. Like, she's talked so much shit about both of them separately, and then she's like, I just can't believe, you know, I have so many people talking about me. I just. It hurts when it's your friends. I was like, oh, wow, this is. This is something. I mean, it was a good episode.
Ria Ciuffo
It really was. It really was. I actually love if you love to see, like, a deeper breakdown too. Abby, whose CEO friend, Abercrombie. CEO friend. Her daughter, who we've met. She came in with her. She. She's, like, so great on social media. I love following her because she does all these, like, flows and charts and everything. She does the White flotus, and she, like, kind of goes through every episode.
Fran Mariano
Genius.
Ria Ciuffo
And they're great videos. And she, like. There's always so many things that either don't pick up on or don't like, have had not thought about. And they're really fun to to watch. So if you watch them, like, she does them, obviously, after the episodes come out, which is cool to see too, but I'm so, I mean, now we got two episodes left. I love where it ended too. I was like, what's gonna happen with Rick?
Fran Mariano
I know. Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
And I think, like, is he actually gonna kill this guy or not?
Fran Mariano
I don't know. I, I. It definitely ramped up the last two.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
This was a good episode. I'll give it an A. Yeah. I mean, I was, like, dumbfounded during this episode. I'm sure everyone felt the exact same.
Ria Ciuffo
Absolutely.
Fran Mariano
Being like, what?
Ria Ciuffo
And by the way, you knew it.
Fran Mariano
Was happening, but, like, you also didn't know. You didn't know exactly what you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Like, you knew something was gonna happen, but you didn't know exactly what. And, like, I just feel like it's.
C
They might have flashback to that one too many times. I was like, how many times are we gonna show him?
Fran Mariano
Right. There was, like, a lot of flashbacks to it. So I think it was like, okay, wow. Like, we really got this engraved in our brain.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Fran Mariano
You know, like.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Fran Mariano
So.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, it was also kind of like not to not to, like, dissect this, but it was at the beginning, you didn't, like, fully know what happened.
Fran Mariano
You thought it was just him jerking him, brother having sex.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Right. Like, it's. Which is still no. No.
Fran Mariano
It's still no.
Ria Ciuffo
It's bad in every way.
Fran Mariano
It's bad in every way, but it just gets worse.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
C
When they revealed that it was his hand, I was like, oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
It was just, it was a cool way to do it. It. Like we're. The viewer is seeing it as they're remembering for sure. It. And how they are maybe interpreting it in their brain of like, oh, was that what was going on? Or was it this or was it that? And yeah, for sure.
Fran Mariano
And you know what? Two episodes left the difference. Like, when people say, you know, we watched Game of Thrones, it's like, we did watch Game of Thrones and we would, like, watch brothers and sisters have sex. And for some reason, that felt less graphic than whatever we saw last night. Like, I don't know why something. Because.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Because Game of Thrones is also has so much a fantasy element. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Like, takes place at such a different time.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And like, this is just feels like a family, like, present day.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, present day. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
And I think that's what's, like, so Jarring about it.
Ria Ciuffo
Definitely.
Fran Mariano
I will say something I hate that shows do hate is like dreams or daydreams.
C
I know what you're talking about. I like in the beginning when he like killed himself. You're like, that's.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, yeah.
Fran Mariano
No, I actually hate when shows do that. It's like, just either do something or don't. Like I don't. The daydream now.
C
Anytime someone, it's like you don't know what's real.
Fran Mariano
Like, Right.
C
And when they like tease it next.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
But I think it's so important to showing what his mindset is like right now. Clearly he is fantasizing about killing himself. His wife is like, how could I could be alive? How could she be like, she wants to. She's saying. She'd rather be saying. She was like, oh God, if I was poor, I'd rather be dead.
Fran Mariano
That's like the last here she had.
Ria Ciuffo
She was like, at my age, just, I'd rather be dead.
C
I knew when he's in the monastery, I'm like, oh, he's gonna hear exactly like he's gonna be. His mind is gonna be blown when this guy talks.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, yeah.
C
And it was.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You see that coming for sure. But I'll give that an.
Ria Ciuffo
A very good episode.
Fran Mariano
Been watching the Pit.
Ria Ciuffo
Same.
Fran Mariano
I really like the pit.
Ria Ciuffo
I started it. Really like it.
Fran Mariano
Really, really good episode.
C
Are you on?
Ria Ciuffo
I watched one to six.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, I'm on episode six too. I'm torn between a B plus and an A minus.
Ria Ciuffo
Directions your heart taking you.
Fran Mariano
I'm gonna go B plus because I do really like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, I like it. It's a totally new structure for, you know, a medical drama which I really, really like. Like, I know you guys have been hyping it up and talking about it, but there are so many. There's been so many medical dramas out there and things like that that it's almost like. It's almost like a 24esque medical drama, you know?
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
C
One hour.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I mean, 24 is obviously there's.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
A totally different concept, but like hour blocks and.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. That I think is really cool because it really shows that there's just actually feels like you're watching it in real time and there's so much going on minute to minute.
Fran Mariano
I love that aspect of it. So I'll give it a B plus because I do really enjoy it. That's really all I like. Any. Anything new? No.
Ria Ciuffo
I started Summer House, Southern Charm.
Fran Mariano
Summer House. I did not watch Southern Time, but I Watched Summer House. I'll give this episode of Summer House like, a c plus. You know, not anything particularly like. Yeah, interesting. We had the Craig and Kyle. The beginning of that. I mean, you could see in this how out of the relationship page was.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I think so.
Fran Mariano
Like, I mean, it's very obvious watching this back. And I did not watch Southern Charm. I started re watching Young and Hungry, which is just always a classic. Young and Hungry. And that's it. Lots of basketball on. So. Yeah, that's really. It's really been it.
Ria Ciuffo
I will give the White Lotus a. A as well. And I'll give the pit. I think the pit is. It is an A minus for me. Really good. And, like, had me totally locked in. I kind of thought I would watch, like, I think I put it on Friday night or something. I'm like, oh, watch one or two episodes. And all of a sudden it was really late, and I had. I was like, oh. Because I. It's hard to. And it just does continue on if you're playing it. So, like, if I wasn't fully paying attention, it just kept going. And, like, one time I pressed pause, and I was like, oh, my God, I'm on episode four. I thought I was still on episode two.
Fran Mariano
It does lock you in.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it definitely does. So I'm really liking that Summer House. I'll give a C. There's something. I don't know. I know there's a lot of people talking about it, and Andy was asking Sierra about it too, but, like, she doesn't want to date anybody else. That's on. That's on reality tv. And it would be. It would be messy for sure. But Sierra and Jesse, like, they have a little flirty banter that. But I think it's maybe just.
Fran Mariano
I think it's better as friends. I think it's better.
Ria Ciuffo
No, I. I do think it is. I do think it is.
Fran Mariano
Two single people that are friends and flirt with each other.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Is way more fun than whatever's gonna happen. If Sierra gives Jesse a chance, I.
Ria Ciuffo
Think it caused drama because there's been people saying on, like, social media that Lexi's like, of snubbed Sierra in certain ways. And, like, she reposted some picture on her story and, like, it was a whole group, but she cropped it so Sierra, like, wasn't in it. Weird like that. Yeah. But no, you're. You're certainly right. I think with the Paige and Craig stuff as we're watching, it really does seem like the. Seem like the writing was on the Wall a little bit Southern Charm finale. I'll give C plus. I mean, it's right in that middle, middle range as well. I like the two new girl editions this season. I wish Molly, like didn't give a about Chep. And yeah, it was a. It was an interesting final moment where they did bring the cameras back up post breakup of Craig talking to Shep and Austin because it felt really cut together to be like two minutes. Like it was so quick. So it was just like really short statements from Craig that I feel like there's such a bigger conversation that they probably needed to have. And like Shep and Austin, I'm sure they were talking to him, but like it wasn't really in it as much as just Craig speaking. So I felt like that was kind of really edited super quickly to be like a super quick thing. But I just have to say the way because now they're doing these after shows, right? And the after shows are juicy. What they're talking about everything that's happening. And this even just the summer house. One of the girls talking about the girl is talking about Craig. And you can tell Amanda and Sierra are finally like, oh, there's some things that we could talk about that we haven't been able to that we like, that bothered us or things like that, whatever. But then the Southern charm one, Shep, there's certain things that he's said and done and as. I don't know, he's like, as he gets older, which sounds like a ridiculous statement, but like you're, dare I say, too old. Like it's just ridiculous. And for him to refer to Paige and what very seemingly seemed like he was referring to giggly squad saying stupid ass talk show. Like, bro, what are you doing?
Fran Mariano
Seriously just a loser.
Ria Ciuffo
What are you doing? You've been on Southern Charm for a decade plus now, however long it is. And, and like you. Good for you. Like, you. You have family money. You don't have to work. Like all these things referring to something that Paige and Hannah have built from the ground up and is like so amazing. And they had such a fantastic year and all their shows and everything and be and say stupid ass talk show. I'd be like, fuck you.
Fran Mariano
It's just because they don't have anything better going on. So they just are belittling them for right. Because they're losers.
Ria Ciuffo
And what a dumb excuse to be like, Paige didn't come on any of our cast trips. Like, okay, she's not on your show. She has like, she's on her other show. And there's so many other people that have significant others that aren't featured as much in the show. Like, yes, Matt, like Madison's husband is on the show and they have scenes together. But, like, he's not out on the cast trips. Austin now has a new girlfriend. She's not on the cast trips. Why? Is it just because Paige is also on reality tv, Right? She's supposed to also do everything on. It's not her show.
Fran Mariano
Maybe she doesn't like you. Maybe she doesn't want to go on the cast trip because she doesn't like you. If you're. Because she realizes that's the way you speak about her and her show.
Ria Ciuffo
I thought that was bullshit. I really did not like that he said that. There was also another that I saw. They said they were like asking Southern chart people who from the old seasons should come back or like, not even come back. Like who they miss or what would be good if they came back. And Shep was. Shep, said Thomas. I was like, really?
Fran Mariano
Yeah. But also really like Shep, I literally don't even pay attention to because I like. But Ms. Pat also, like continuously saying stuff about Paige. I'm like, grow. I mean, literally, you can't grow up saying grow up to an 80 or something year old woman. Feels ridiculous.
Ria Ciuffo
But it's like, really, it's just like that petty. Dare I say, like, there's a whole Southern vibe to it, you know, like, and that's not to say it. It's always like that there. But I think specifically in Charleston, like we've always said it's a very small town, people love to gossip. And I think for a lot of those people, especially Ms. Pat, because she is an older woman, that it's very hard, I think, for her and you know, that age and wanted to process. Like a woman not wanting to potentially settle down and have this life that Craig has laid out. That would be so great. And like, you know, honestly, I think. I don't know, it just feels unnecessary for her to even really comment on it.
Fran Mariano
No, it feels so unnecessary. It's ridiculous, the comments. But I think Paige now is. It was the best decision for both of them to break up. Like, yeah, it was clearly there.
Ria Ciuffo
We're watching it on both shows.
Fran Mariano
It's not working.
Ria Ciuffo
Working.
Fran Mariano
Not gonna work out. And it's. It's best that you know. Yeah, they. They parted ways and you can live their separate lives that are totally different from each other. Totally, totally different lives.
Ria Ciuffo
The conversations they were having and the things that now they're both revealing. Like Paige saying in the after show, you know, or I don't know if she said the after show or interview. I think it was the after show that there was moments like career moments that she wouldn't tell him about. Insane, you know, it's not, it's not gonna work.
Fran Mariano
Like I'm saying, not gonna work. No, like her, like she mentioned it, like her not wanting to call Craig immediately and be like, this is what's happening in my career should is. It is a telltale sign right there. Like he should be so excited for you and you should want to tell him immediately. And her being like I kept things like that's a sign. Like, yeah, I mean all. Everything's coming out now, but that's a sign right there. I mean if he, you know, he's probably like, like fake being happy, but you could tell he's not and whatever. But it's best that they parted ways.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, definitely. This is the way to a healthy scalp. You can get to the root of your healthy hair goals with Waze scalp care that will get your strands looking stronger, fuller and healthier. Their hair and body products are made to be effortless and work for you and your routine. I love the scalp serum from whey. When I get in, I'm doing an everything shower. I'm really cleaning my hair. If you are someone like me that can get a little flaky especially in the cold months. And then I get out of the shower and I use some of that scalp serum. So nice, so lightweight. You can also use it before bed, which is a great time. And I also feel like I don't wake up with my hair being greasy in the morning. 100 saw thicker, Fuller looking strands after using the scalp serum. According to an expert grading study, this daily scalp serum can be used day or night with wet or dry hair and it soothes irritation. It keeps your hair stronger and fuller through a healthy, hydrated, balanced scalp. The way to a healthy scalp starts here. Go to the way.com that's T-H-E-O-U a I.com and use code chicks for 15 off any product that's T-H-E dash O-U-A-I.com code chicks. I think that's pretty much everything I watched too. Like you Said a lot of basketball on. I don't think I jumped into. Oh, I finished Temptation Island. These people that they find for this show. I'll make this brief, but this is. This is about to be a one minute rant on Temptation Island. Where do the. Where do they find these men? Where do they find these men? And honestly, I guess, like, hat. Hat off to this, to the couple, but Chante and Brion. Spoiler, Spoiler. If you haven't been here, spoiler. Sorry. They're together still, which is mind blowing because this man, and I guess he was right the whole time. This man had a threesome, you know, on camera. Not on camera, but you knew what was happening. And she watched it. She watched the footage on the. At the bonfire. He's talking about he loves threesomes. Loves threesomes. And then afterwards, he's like all cocky. Like, no, isn't it like, women were, you know, women respect honesty. Like, I think she'll really be able to get past this. Like, I think we'll be okay. And I just, the, like, the, the smirk and the way that I was like, this man knows how he has manipulated her into, like, believing what he's saying. And now he's like, oh, I got out of my system. Like, now I know that that's like, not. Not what I want.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
She left with him at the final bonfire. And I was so disappointed.
Fran Mariano
That's wild.
Ria Ciuffo
So disappointed. But then it's also like, like, they're on social media being like, we're, you know, we made it work. They're together. I'm like, that's crazy.
Fran Mariano
Insane.
Ria Ciuffo
She should have ran away from this guy.
Fran Mariano
I. When I watch shows like that and watch Temptation Island, I don't see these people. And this is, I guess, kind of mean of me to say. Like, I. I'm like, these aren't real people. Like, I don't know how they're walking around the same earth right now.
Ria Ciuffo
I really don't.
Fran Mariano
You know, Like, I'm just really, really. I don't understand, Like, I don't even.
Ria Ciuffo
Know how they find people. Like, find enough people to cast for the show, honestly. And they do. There's so many people.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
And then the other guy, Grant. Grant is the one making the first moves on another girl. And they're. They're kissing, they're. They're loving up on each other. He's breaking all the rules that they, you know, supposedly had set. And he had cheated in the past. And so his girlfriend was like, you know, she's holding this resentment towards me. And he's in his interviews being like, I don't know. I just think, like, if Ashley can really let go of this resentment, like, maybe we'll be able to make this work and she'll look at me differently and we'll be able to move past this. He's saying this as he is hooking up with another. He's doing it.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my God. He's doing it again.
Ria Ciuffo
He's doing exactly what she had the resentment for.
Fran Mariano
That's insane.
Ria Ciuffo
And he's like, oh, you know, if she could just let go of this resentment. I'm like, oh, my God, that is crazy. These men are in insane.
Fran Mariano
That's insane.
Ria Ciuffo
Insane. Thankfully, they got together.
Fran Mariano
I want to watch. But now I know what happens.
Ria Ciuffo
I. Sorry. I just had to, like, it's. It's worth watching because it's so shocking. No, it is mind blowing to see how these. How, how these people react and the things that people say. And I guess behind the scenes there's been a lot of drama too. Is like, he. Grant, like, he was with Ashley. Grant left. The girl he was with in the. In the guy's house was Natalie, I think her name was. And then like, he wanted to make these worth. With Ashley didn't. Then he went back to Natalie and then he was dating that. And then he cheated on Natalie with Ashley again. Like, it was just a really. Sounds like there's some. It's crazy, crazy shit going on behind the scenes. There was one happy ending though, for one couple, so good for them. But I just. I guess. I guess Shantae and Breon too, because they're fucking still together. I. I almost threw my shoe at the TV because she was like, I'm gonna. I need to. I think I need to leave on my own. And then he got. He got her and she was like, I'll leave with you. I was like the man out of threesome. You watched it.
Fran Mariano
You saw it happen.
Ria Ciuffo
You watched him literally say, like, no, I think she'll forgive me.
Fran Mariano
Damn, that's wild.
Ria Ciuffo
Crazy.
Fran Mariano
That is wild. It's making me want to watch. I'm sorry. Like, my eyes are shut. Like, I just. The fact that I only just got.
Ria Ciuffo
Fired up about Temptation island because I forgot I finished.
Fran Mariano
The fact that I woke up so early this morning.
Ria Ciuffo
You gotta go to bed at 5:00.
Fran Mariano
So do full glam.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Is hitting me so hard in this moment. And I just have to be completely honest with you guys and the listeners. That's right. Energy has Gone to zero. You can mid podcast. My energy just. Just flew out of my body.
Ria Ciuffo
You can take a nap during Noah's.
Fran Mariano
No, no, no, no. What did you watch? No, what did you watch? Well, come on.
C
Thanks for teaming me up there.
Ria Ciuffo
Bring some excited.
C
Great.
Ria Ciuffo
Temptation Island. It's. It's a. It's a. It's a b.
Fran Mariano
Bring some excitement to the.
Ria Ciuffo
The full season.
Fran Mariano
My friend just gave a lot of excitement. My head was spinning, and then.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm sorry. I got fired up about.
Fran Mariano
No, no apologies. I. I got fired up, too, but I realized I was so tired when I realized I couldn't get as fired up because I was like, oh, wow. Yeah, the energy's gone, but. Noah, give us what you got.
C
Celtics, third episode.
Fran Mariano
No, I'm actually interested.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm just.
Fran Mariano
I'm. Because the one. Who told you to. Who. I didn't tell you.
C
I was gonna take an act.
Ria Ciuffo
In my mind, I just. I might. In my mind, I was like. The first thing he's gonna bring up is a Celtics documentary.
C
That's an A minus. I don't need to elaborate on that. Yeah, they're on there. They're on the 1970s part right now, so.
Ria Ciuffo
Is that the Larry Bird era?
C
No, it's like, right before that.
Fran Mariano
Fever Night Fever.
C
Okay.
Fran Mariano
The Discos era.
C
I watched this movie called the Overnight. It's with Adam Scott and Jason Schwartzman and Taylor Schilling. Came out in 2015. Really weird. Really weird. It's like a comedy, but also kind of like. It says, it's a thriller, too. It was all right. It was just really fucking weird. I'll give it a C. Plus. I watched this.
Ria Ciuffo
I forgot that about. I forgot about. I didn't watch the finale of Severance yet, which is killing me.
C
I'm getting to that.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
C
And I'm actually on the edge of my seat.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, okay. Okay, okay.
C
30 seconds from now.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
C
Last Breath isn't a movie I watched. It's new. It's Woody Harrelson, and basically it's these.
Ria Ciuffo
I've seen this.
C
Yeah. These people who work on pipes at the bottom of the sea. So they're like, divers and.
Ria Ciuffo
One of the most dangerous jobs in the world.
C
That's what they said. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
If not the most dangerous.
C
And I could imagine, like, something goes wrong, one of them gets, like, left at the bottom of the sea, and that's where the movie is, so.
Fran Mariano
Gotcha.
C
It was good. It was. It was.
Ria Ciuffo
What's it on?
C
Entertaining. I rented it on Prime. It's like a new movie.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, a new movie. Gotcha.
C
I'll give it a B minus. So Woody Harrelson didn't have like that huge of a role, but I was.
Fran Mariano
Gonna say, is Woody Harrelson struggling for work?
C
He. Yeah, this might have been like a passion project or something. I don't know. He wasn't one of the divers. Like, he. He was in the thing, but he just stood. He didn't go down with them. So the pit. I watched episode 12. This was like, I don't know there's that many episodes. There's gonna be 15 total. It's like a 15 hours.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, I just, I thought I was like catching up. I didn't realize I had.
C
Yeah, 13 this week. Oh, amazing. This was like one of the bigger episodes of the season so far. I don't want to spoil anything, but like, like something big happened. I'll give it an A. That shows. Just an A for me, like a good show. I'm very good, very excited when it comes out. Severance finale.
Fran Mariano
Hold on tight.
C
I have to give it credit. Where it's due. It's an A. Oh, baby.
Fran Mariano
Oh, my God.
Ria Ciuffo
Come back around.
Fran Mariano
I'm glad I stayed up for this.
C
We come back around the finale, like, standalone episode, like, I'm not gonna give it an A plus, but it's like very near. Just like perfect tv.
Fran Mariano
Like that perfect year.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm so excited to watch this.
C
Like, why couldn't they just. I know they can't make every episode that good, but like, yeah, you gotta.
Ria Ciuffo
Have a build up to the finale.
Fran Mariano
You know what's gonna be funny?
C
When I was. For me, it's hit or miss. Like some episodes I love. This is the best severance episode I've ever seen.
Ria Ciuffo
I think that's kind of how people thought about the first season too. Is like moving a little slow. And then they got hit with. This was like season one finale. And everyone was like, it's so good because the season one finale was so good.
Fran Mariano
Well, let's be honest, that's sort of how succession was at first. The first season of succession was like kind of slow. And then that finale hit and everyone was like, oh, my God, I can't wait until the second season. Like, if you recall, like, it wasn't like people were like, holy shit. At first. It was like that first finale.
C
Like, I. This episode was just overall, like, it just.
Fran Mariano
You're perfect.
C
Hit on every single thing. Like, never checked my phone. Just like constant entertainment and maybe watching the episodes.
Fran Mariano
What, not checking your phone?
C
No, because it's no, I'm saying I didn't check my phone because I wasn't bored.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah. The episode was so good.
C
And I still know that, like, season three is gonna come out, and I'll probably have the same. There'll be some that I love and some that I'm like, what the.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's a roller coaster.
Fran Mariano
You're an honest reviewer.
Ria Ciuffo
Roller coaster ride.
C
Yeah. So that's really good. Really good.
Ria Ciuffo
Very happy for. For Severance to pull Noah back. Wow.
Fran Mariano
What a sigh of relief. You know, it's gonna be funny when I watch Severance, like, just a couple weeks from now, and I'm so behind everybody, and then. And then I start giving my reviews.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. So Severance, episode three from season one. Really good.
Fran Mariano
No, I feel like I have to catch up because I want to be in the know I'm having a little bit of fun.
C
There are certain things I want to be like.
Fran Mariano
I want to be like. I want to be able to fight with Noah about it or agree. I want to have a little banter about it, and I can't because I haven't watched.
C
There are some very cool things they did in this episode in terms of, like, any Audi communication, like the way that they told it.
Fran Mariano
And by the way, you guys have been talking about Indiana any and outy.
Ria Ciuffo
For like, the past four weeks and not belly buttons. Yes.
Fran Mariano
And I know what it's referring to, but all I can think about is Benny belly buttons.
Ria Ciuffo
Every time I hear it, I still think about belly buttons even when I say it and I watch it.
Fran Mariano
I gotta be honest, I don't like the feeling that it gives me.
Ria Ciuffo
I.
Fran Mariano
When I hear that in Ian Outie.
Ria Ciuffo
Hate saying it out loud in E and out. It just feels like, why is that.
Fran Mariano
What it had to be named?
Ria Ciuffo
No, I. I hate. I agree. I hate it too.
Fran Mariano
And did. They weren't there. Right. Were they in the writers room, like, writing about and be like.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like, yeah, I don't know. It gives it, like a very elementary feel to it, you know?
Fran Mariano
That's what I'm saying.
Ria Ciuffo
I think that's very purposeful.
Fran Mariano
Right. When I hear you guys saying any an Audi, I'm like, why does this feel middle school?
Ria Ciuffo
Right? Because you're like, oh, and you have an Audi belly button.
Fran Mariano
Do you have an Innie or an Audi?
C
I think when you watch Severance, you'll realize very quickly, like, this show is really weird. And that makes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, no, it's a first.
Fran Mariano
I mean, let me tell you, I've Watched the first episode twice now, so.
Ria Ciuffo
Move on to the second one.
Fran Mariano
I know.
C
I'm telling you, like, I'm telling.
Fran Mariano
I know.
C
I know. Ria's gonna be, like, on my side for, like, a lot of these episodes where it's like, I can't get through this.
Fran Mariano
You never know.
Ria Ciuffo
I never know. I know.
Fran Mariano
I'm full of surprises.
Ria Ciuffo
You are.
Fran Mariano
When it comes to my television, I'm full of surprises.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm very. I. I think it could go either way. Really? I don't think it's because there have.
Fran Mariano
Been some shit that I'm really into that I think would surprise people. So you never know.
C
The ending was, like, a good ending. I' spoil anything, but, like, it's one of those endings where it's like. I feel like the audience is split on, like, what side they're on.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right.
Fran Mariano
Are you on the Innies or the audience?
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right. Yep. No, for sure. That's what they're. I mean, that's the build up they've been creating this whole time. Like, who's.
C
Yeah. You know, tough, but. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Are the Innies and outies fighting with each other?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Fran Mariano
So the two. So the. Are you. You're steering me wrong.
C
No, no, no, no, no. It's just funny because that is kind of like the premise.
Fran Mariano
I thought that she was doing the bad friends thing with the movies. When it's like, describe a movie and they're. Yes, that's what it is. That's what it is.
C
No, that actually is.
Fran Mariano
No, the Innies and nows are so.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, the gist of it.
Fran Mariano
The two personalities of, like, your work personality and your outside personality, they're fighting with each other.
Ria Ciuffo
It's just because they're completely different.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. They're different people, but the same.
Ria Ciuffo
So, you know, they're. It's, you know, a fight for. But it's like power and who gets a voice? Like.
Fran Mariano
Like, who's the main.
C
Well, it's like outside, but. But like.
Ria Ciuffo
But many people, they have their own personality and life is their own being.
C
Yeah. So now it's like.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's a mind. What the.
Fran Mariano
What the. What the. Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
I like, the Itties are like, why are my Audis making these decisions? I wish that I could just get.
Fran Mariano
Like, little synopsises about each episode and, like, you know what I mean? Like, I want to know, but do I really want to. To sit and watch the entire thing?
Ria Ciuffo
To be honest, like, reading it would.
Fran Mariano
I said, I wish I could.
Ria Ciuffo
I could do that. Yeah. But I'm just Like, even reading it, I think would be very confusing.
C
Honestly. Shout out Ben Stiller. Like, it seems like he's extremely involved and, like, this is his thing. I don't really know, like, what he's seems like it.
Ria Ciuffo
He's directed a lot of the episodes, too.
C
Didn't know he had this in him.
Fran Mariano
You didn't know Ben Stiller had it in him? Ben Stiller is so talented.
C
Like, something like this. Yeah. I mean, obviously he's a great actor and he's.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
C
A billion great movies, but yeah.
Fran Mariano
Shout out to Ben Stiller.
C
Shout out to Ben Stiller.
Ria Ciuffo
He can do it all. He can make severance and happy for all you housewives of Beverly Hills.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. You know, he covers all bases.
Ria Ciuffo
He does.
C
He was just on new heights.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
C
I watched Dope Thief episode three, Apple tv. Solid. Like, not a as great as the first two, in my opinion, but I'll give it a B plus. Like. Yeah, just really good.
Ria Ciuffo
I do find that there is a formula of TV where it's like, not every episode is going to be amazing.
C
No, no. Not every episode is going to be amazing. You know, but, like.
Fran Mariano
You know, that's just. That's life.
C
It can go a little down, it can stay flat, like. But severance for me is like a roller coaster.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. It's like A or F. Like, there's.
Ria Ciuffo
Just no in between.
C
And that's why I kind of have to keep watching, because I'm like, if I had stopped watching when I said this sucks, I would have missed this finale.
Fran Mariano
Damn. Damn.
C
And like, this finale in my mind, like, I'm viewing it as a movie. Like, this was an incredible. It's an hour and a half movie.
Fran Mariano
The Innies versus the Audis.
C
And then White Lotus. I'll give it an A minus. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep. Amazing.
Fran Mariano
All right.
C
That's it.
Fran Mariano
Right? That's everything we want.
Ria Ciuffo
Time for bed.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Literally.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. All right.
Fran Mariano
That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office, AKA the Best show on Earth. I heard it sticking. I heard it's sticking.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm not about, like, rumor has it it's sticking.
Fran Mariano
Rumor has it, people are asking for merch.
