I feel good because I'm already thinking like I'm in that holiday mindset of counting down the date. It's like, oh, we're so close to Thanksgiving. And then once, once we're so close to Thanksgiving, then we're so close to Christmas, you know, it's like, all right here.

I know. I cannot wait for Thanksgiving next week. I'm going to be chefing it. I'm super excited. So if anybody has any good recipes they want to share with me. Like a Thanksgiving staple. Send my way. I would love to try something new.

A lot of Christmas, lot of thing, you know, jingle my bells. I saw a lot of, you know.

Ho, ho ho, right itself for sure. So a lot of that.

[Rhiannon]

Which is why it's crazy because you get like people with very serious ones and sweet ones and then like right next to them, then you see that it's just like, whoa. Even from them reading. It must be. It must be. And they really are reading them. Like they.

[Fran]

Oh yeah.

But it's funny because it's like they come out and I'm just like watching Nick's face and I'm like, he's thinking like he's really reading everybody's sides.

[Fran]

So I asked Hardy this if he can see everybody in the crowd that's on the floor. When he did mass in Square Garden. Yeah. And he was like, I could see everybody. Yeah, I could see what you're doing. I could see when you guys walked away to go backstage instead of listening to my songs. Like I can. I can see everything.

[Rhiannon]

There was. There was certainly a moment because in front of me was like two rows of shorter people. So I felt like. I felt like there was a spotlight on me.

[Fran]

You. You can be seen.

[Rhiannon]

And that there were some instances where like Claire and Gia were with me and we both. They both looked at me. Because there's times when it looked like Nick and Joe were looking in the crowd and like looking at signs and looking at everybody. And we were just joking that it'd be me being like, hehe, hey, hey, me again.

[Fran]

I'm here.

[Rhiannon]

That's why it was funny because we were debating if we wanted to make signs or not. And then I was laughing because I was like, well, is it how Funny. Would it be if I had a sign and then they, like, picked it out and then realized it was me?

[Fran]

They'd be like, what the fuck?

[Bronwyn Newport]

You're back.

[Rhiannon]

I know. And I had. I had a whole idea in my head, and at the end of the day, I'm glad I didn't have the energy to execute it, because the little girl in my row had the same exact sign.

[Fran]

Taylor Hammer Pork roll. Cause we were in Jersey. But I was gonna make it because people do, like, song requests under. Under it. So it's like, pick one, and then there's, like, a hidden song request under each thing. So, like, I would have done, you know, pick one, and then it would have been the song request. And this very cute little girl had basically the same exact sign. I said, oh, my God. How embarrassing would that have been if I came with the same sign as her?

I picked one summer, and now I can't remember which one I picked.

Well, here's the thing. My South Jersey family says pork roll because it is objectively. It is objectively pork roll, but the brand is Taylor Ham.

[Fran]

Okay.

[Rhiannon]

And so. And then, like, here, where I grew up in Chatham, like, it was always like, Taylor Ham, egg and cheese.

[Fran]

I think I chose pork roll.

[Rhiannon]

Yeah, you. That's okay.

Place that I went to this summer in Lavalette.

[Rhiannon]

They probably call it down there Pork roll. Yeah.

And then I was like, I'm going with pork roll. I need to make a decision.

Yeah. So it is a. It is a hot. It is a hot debate. You know, it's kind of like if you were to call it Kleenex or tissue, it's like some people call them a Kleenex, but that's the brand.

Yes. There's people out there being like, pass me a Kleenex.

If you were to, like, walk into Madame Tussaud, like, you'd be like, is that.

But maybe he's doing all the dance moves. He's doing all the things that. Body language is a song that, like, I was like, this probably would not. He probably couldn't make this song in the year of our Lord 2025. But it's a great song.

Really great song. And he was great. And we knew five seconds of Summer was gonna be there. Five sauce. And we're looking forward to seeing them. I know we named the one song, but I forgot about Youngblood, which is arguably their biggest, as I did Billions of Streams. They sang three songs. It was like. They did. She Looks so Pretty. Perfect.

Gia yelled at me again. Last time. That would change. She was like, why'd you say pretty? I was like, I don't know. Now I'm confused. Now I confused myself. Now I'm confused myself. Then a new song, and then Young Blood, and Nick played a new song from his new solo stuff that he has coming out next year.

[Fran]

Okay.

[Rhiannon]

And he had a big choir come out. And then they sang Jealous with the choir, which was gorgeous.

[Fran]

And.

[Rhiannon]

They brought out Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as their surprise, which was so fun because Kevin was like, who loved little emo music, who went to Bamboozle, who went to War Patrol. I think Brad Jumpstart brought us to sing. Really? The one song that everybody knows from them is we're singing at the top of our lungs, Face down in the dark, she said. Which, you know, let me tell you the lyrics dark for that song. And I was like, man, I was bumping this song when I was in eighth grade and had no freaking clue what I was singing out loud.

[Fran]

That's a lot of songs that you realize you were listening to when you were like 11 and you're like, wait.

[Rhiannon]

And then you listen to it when you're older. You're like, oh, yeah. But the guy, you know, he had his. He hit it. He hit his scream note and everything. It was. It was great. And Kevin sang his new song, so I got to see that in person. And they sang a cover of Still Haven't Found what I'm looking for, U2, which was gorgeous. Joe, the pipes on Joe.

I saw you put that on your story.

Joe.

[Fran]

Yes. With the. So good rocking out, man.

He's got. He's got nice pipe, you know, Nice.

[Fran]

He does, he does. And they came out in like a new outfit after five sos. And me and Gia, literally at the same time. It was maybe one of the. Our more sisterly moments we've had recently where we just. And Claire was in between. In between us, they came out in new outfits and they all had blazers on. And we said, okay, shoulder pads, like a wider jacket, for sure. But no, it was so fun. It was so fun. It was. Joe just cracks me up, you know, he shouted out this one little kid who was so cute. He was five years old. He was in the crowd with his mom and they had a sign that was like. It was his first concert and they were celebrating his mom being cancer free, which was amazing. And he had a bag of Sour patch to give to him, which was a little nod to the. To the movie.

[Fran]

And.

[Rhiannon]

And he, like, ate some of the Sour Patch. And then he, like, looks to the back and he's like, oh, 20 milligrams.

[Fran]

Oh.

[Rhiannon]

Like, basically pretending like this five year old gave him edibles. But it was funny. And now it was great, great show. Let me tell you, the New Jersey Transit. Now that I am somebody who has gone from being a New Jersey Transit girl to now an L, I double R girl.

[Fran]

Yeah. The learning, which I've never called it that.

[Rhiannon]

You've never called it that. No one.

[Fran]

No one does. No one does.

No one does. But that's okay.

It is just like so much better, let me tell you. We got on the train. New Jersey Transit is so ass. We get on the train leaving Prudential center and we got two stops. The Caucus and Penn Station, and the train is packed because there's. Everybody from the show is going back in the city. I'm in a car and multiple cars. They just don't open the doors. It's the caucus. All these poor girls are running. Cause they're trying. You have to transfer there to get to Hoboken. So all these girls are, like, trying to run up the aisles. The train is packed. There's people in the aisle trying to run up to get to a door that's open because they didn't open all the doors. The train just starts moving. Sorry.

[Fran]

Oh, my God.

[Rhiannon]

To Penn Station. You go, no. I felt so bad. All these girls being like, that sucks.

[Fran]

And now they have to go to Penn Station. They go backwards.

[Rhiannon]

It's like, we live in Hoboken now. We got to go all the way to Penn Station and then get back to Hoboken.

[Fran]

Oh, my God, that is so annoying. Really. I would be so pissed.

[Rhiannon]

I know. I felt so bad for the people around us who were like, ah. Like, the train started moving. They were like, no, Which. Which was tough. But the show, the show itself was a town of fun. And I was glad I got to be there for one of the Jersey. Jersey shows. Hometown show.

[Fran]

Yeah. I'm glad you made it. Yeah. That's amazing.

Last night, I finished all her fault. We started it one episode on Sunday, and then last night we just flew through it. Flew through it. It's eight episodes. We watched all seven last night. Lovely night at home. Just happy to be at home. Matt made some delicious dinner, and then we just watched television. And I've been dealing with these fucking canker sores that are actually excruciating. And I don't want. Guys, I don't want to hear it. Don't give me your remedies. Nothing, nothing. I've had them since I was a young. Young gal. Yes. Okay.

Yeah, same.

[Fran]

Some. Exactly. And we bonded over this, actually. We were like, we're prone to them. It's also genetic. My mom and sister get them too. If I am traveling, I'm starting to.

[Rhiannon]

Get a. I'm starting to feel one coming on. I'm getting a sympathy cankers.

[Fran]

Right, Exactly. And by the way, they're not contagious and they're not cold sores.

[Rhiannon]

No, they're not.

[Fran]

Because people are hitting me with, like, try a Breva.

[Rhiannon]

It's like. It's not a cold sore.

[Fran]

It's a canker. So it's in your mouth and it ramps up. If I'm, like, traveling a lot or if I don't get enough sleep or if I'm fighting, like, a sickness.

[Rhiannon]

Yeah, 100%.

That's why all of combined are happening right now for sure. So feeling the same, you know, my lymph nose. I feel it. I feel sickness maybe coming along. And these canker sores are popping up, and they're trying to fight it. My immune system's trying to fight it, and I have two on my tongue, which is making it quite a task.

Incredibly difficult.

[Fran]

It's been months since I've had one, which is the best feeling if you are a canker sore sufferer and you go months without getting one, you're like, this is the life. And then when you feel those bad boys come on, you're like, no way. So, yeah, I've been hit with them. So I'm just trying to keep a positive outlook that these will be gone very soon, these little buggers. And you know what I said to Matt last night? I said, thank God that this happened this week and not Thanksgiving next week, because if I was battling these motherfuckers during Thanksgiving dinner next week, I'd be pissed off. But I know that they will be gone before then.

That's exciting news. That's what's giving me light at the end of the tunnel. But then on top of that, we're watching all her fault last night. Don't want to spoil anything. You haven't started yet. But we're sitting on the couch, and it dawned on me. I remembered that last week when Matt and Noah went to Wiz Khalifa's house, that Wiz Khalifa gave Matt, like, six Khalifa Kush big boys. All right. These big old joints. And as we all know, I don't really smoke that much anymore or I really don't smoke anymore in general. Every once in a while, if with friends, I'll take a puff. Yeah. Partake for fun, the way the wind.

Yeah. But I can go months. I can go weeks. It really depends on the time. I was looking at these Khalifa Kush big boys, and I said, well, I have to try one of these.

So I think she will, like, ask the right questions and ask what we're all thinking, but do it from a. Like, coming from a good place, you know, I think she's gonna crush it.

I'm very excited for Sassy to do this. Which is a great move, I think. I mean, I'm wondering, I guess it's just a crossover, like, if Andy Cohen would ever step in to do the reunion for the Mormon Wives. But, I mean, he's got a lot on his plate, and I think Stassi stepping in is kind of perfect.

I just pulled up one, too, that there's been, like, some sort of, like, paternity situation as well, maybe with one of her kids. I don't know. I Saw like a. A video came up on my Instagram. Granted, it was from the sun, so I was like, I don't really know what is all going on there, but there was, like, from her ex husband. There's her. The paternity of her. The ex husband. Or was it Jordan's? Or was it. And then there was, like, maybe saying that she legally changed his name at some point. I don't know. It was all very, very confusing. It is.

I. That was the first time I had seen something like that, too. Yeah. Was people talking about Jesse. And this is all, like, alleged. I'm not sure that she cheated on her ex husband with Jordan.

And that's where that crossover is.

And that whole situation. So I feel like she'll have a lot to answer and talk about on the reunion. And then as a whole, I mean, we want to know it all.

So they're gonna be wanting to talk about season four stuff.

It must be confusing even for them.

We need season four to come out as soon as possible. Like, we need season four in the new year pretty asap. Right.

Because it really must be even, like, confusing for them to keep, like, to remember, oh, was I. Was I friends with this person at this time or not? Or, like, the friendships always are changing.

And going back in time and putting yourself back in that place of, like, maybe you're not. Because they are always changing who they are mad at and who they're friends with. Like, even Michaela popping out wearing a Mark and Whitney shirt. Yeah. To support during Dancing with the Stars. And then you're like, wait, you guys.

I see them, like, commenting on each other's Instagrams and stuff. So it's like, oh, if they're cordial now, but when they're filming the reunion, they have to go back to the place where they didn't with each other. So it's very confusing.

It is. And I mean, shout out to them for filming so much and producing so much in a short amount of time. But at the same time, I think we need these things out as soon as possible because then we're left behind.

Right. That it does feel that way. It's like the seasons almost have to be turned around, like Love island style. Not that I mean, that would be wrapped way too quick, but at least only a couple months. It's so crazy.

It is really crazy. I mean, this really. I guess it was filmed in April. Yeah. The Stagecoach. So I guess it wasn't that long ago. Like, you know, when you think about the filming of Summer House, it's like that's maybe the same kind of time period. I don't know. With all these shows.

Yeah, but they were. Yeah, I guess they had less of a jump. They went from season two to season.

Three really quick, really quickly.

Season one, Season one to two is a little bit longer because I think you have to, like, test to see obviously out the show how people respond to it. And then it feels like season two to three and now, like, now they're moving. Now they're moving faster. But we'll see.

Somebody released this video of Shep going on some sort of rant about Paige and Craig and. And how their relationship got. They got millions off of Bravo and that Paige then broke up with him on his. On her podcast. How fucked up is that? And then Paige came in with an amazing comment. She wrote. I mean, I can lend him some if. If he wants. If he needs it. If he needs it. Which is hilarious. Just a great response to. He is. I'm sorry. I think he's a loser. I do. I think Shep's a loser. And I have felt that way for a long time. And I. That's it. Like, that's the way I feel about him. I think he is always jealous of somebody and has a lot to say about Paige and Craig and the whole thing. And it's like, what are you piping up about behind the scenes so much about this? Like, first of all, she didn't break up with him on her podcast. Like, that didn't happen. So it's bizarre to me.

Yeah. And it's just like, also this time and place, you. You know, it's propaganda weekend. You know, everybody's listening to every single thing you say. And you're gonna rave about this saying, she and Craig. This is what he said. She and Craig made millions on reality TVs. Back, and then she broke up with them on her podcast. Do you understand how up that is? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you or ignoring the hand that feeds you. Basically. It's like, I don't really. I don't know the whole narrative around coming up on reality TV and then like, owing everything to reality tv I don't think is completely fair because reality TV is. Can be so great for certain people at a time in their life. And then for some people does it stop serving them and what they want to do and. And where they are? They don't want to be on reality TV anymore. Just because they met on reality TV doesn't mean they have to see. Stay on reality TV forever and also stay together.

Like, what a bizarre way to word that. Like, talk about the hand. But no one's for. Sorry that.

It's like shading Paige leaving reality tv and it's like, let her be. She's allowed to do.

You could stay on reality TV as long as you want. You can also leave reality tv. And her leaving reality TV because she didn't want to do it anymore and has a lot of great opportunities in her life is not a problem. Like, it should be. Honestly, like, they should feel honored. Like, oh, wow, look at the stepping stone that that summer house was. Or Bravo can be for other people to grow their brands and. And great opportunities like that is not an insult to reality tv. Like, sorry, she doesn't want to stay on there the rest of her life. And if you do, fine, good for you. That's your jam. You want to see on reality tv, then that's your prerogative as well.

But don't owe anything. And by the way, you're all getting paid for the job that you're doing, right? So it's not like doing a machine.

And I think a lot of people look to certain voices and, and, and faces to be like, spokesperson is the wrong word, but to lead by example. And then on the other side of that, you do have the people's. People that are going to snatch their face up with a facelift and the Botox and all that shit. And if that's what you want to do, go for it. And I think we can all decide that when we. When we get to that point and. Yeah. And what we want to do and how we want to go about it. Yeah.

But all this, like, back and forth about Andy being on Dancing with the Stars or not kind of had me thinking, like, I don't know if this is, like, a stretch, but what if, like, Dancing with the Stars did something like the Bachelor did, where they split it up of, like, the Golden Bachelor and then, like, the regular Bachelor, but maybe instead of, like, age, which I guess you could do, but I was thinking more along the lines of, like, if you've had some sort of dance experience, you are on one type of Dancing with the Stars. And then if you've had, like, no dance experience, you know, you're an athlete or, I don't know, somebody that hasn't necessarily been trained in dance in their life is on a different Dancing with the Stars show, if that makes sense. Because I think it's, like, honestly, a little unfair to judge people like Andy kind of like Noah said of, like, it's part of the game. It's part of the voting. If they didn't want people like that on the show, they shouldn't be on it in the first place. What they have done on Dancing with the Stars and now it's always been this way and they've continued to do it this way. I don't know if they'll ever shift from it because it has worked for so Long, even when, you know, when the viewership was down. But they're always casting people that, yes, maybe are from the performance world, have done shows or music, dance, something that, you know, there's a couple of those. There's always, you know, a few older contestants. There's an actor who is. Had such a, like, such success in the early parts of their career, maybe a little bit less in the later part of their career. Like, there, there's just a formula that has always worked. And I will say I do think you need the Andes on this show. There's just a point where those type of contestants, they, they can go as far as they can and then it's, you know, time for them to go home. Like, the point I'm trying to make is that like, in order to see everybody else grow and I think you have to have a diverse cast and that they're all from different, different walks of life and different performances and you get to see somebody like an Andy or, or, or whoever that we've had on past seasons do well. Do we think that they have to make it to the finals? No, but they should. They can still do well and leave after, you know, a few weeks. But that's just kind of what the show is. I don't, I think the show would be too serious if it was like a full blown dancing competition. You know, like, I mean, whatever. That sounds wrong. It is a dancing competition. But if dancing, that is the fight.

No, but. No, no, no. A show entirely of people who have dance experience.

Yeah. I think that it is totally okay to root for and against people. I think that's what makes the show exciting. That's what ropes people in. That's what makes it engaging. And where's other people rooting for and you go for. There's a certain point of time.

I think that's what makes a show fun and engaging though. There's going to be the people that you root for and you root against and you may be divided with other people, but that's the fun of the discourse of the show.

100 and the. This season would. 1. The season would not be as successful as it has been without Andy. Like, that's. It's just been such a topic of conversation. He's been such an asset to the show. I totally agree because I think that was the problem that she had with film. The new Lizzie McGuire was that she wanted Lizzie McGuire to, to be adults and not the old Lizzie McGuire. And I don't think she has a problem with the old Lizzie McGuire. But I think this is about her becoming mature and growing up.

Exactly.

Being an adult now. And I think we don't have to go back in time. Yep.

We are, yes. But I think I left Vegas with the most voice out of anybody on Bravo. I. I talked about for a living. I'm loudmouth. I was. Okay.

How was Bravocon for you?

[Bronwyn Newport]

My first baby's first Bravo con. It was so lovely. My first two days were all fan experience things. And then on Sunday, I kept saying to everyone from NBC, like, who hates me here? Why did I have all my panels back to back on one day? But the fan stuff was the softest, most like, Lovely intro to BravoCon. I just got to, you know, chat and talk to everybody. People crying to me about stuff, and I was crying, but hugging. I ate a lot of maraschino cheese cherries. A lot of people brought me cherries at Bravocon.

[Rhiannon]

That's very kind of them.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Questionable to let somebody put a cherry in your mouth in Vegas, but I did many times, so we'll see how I survive.

[Rhiannon]

You know, that is so fair, though, because I am the exact same way. Like, if I'm. If I'm getting an ice cream sundae and there's a cherry on top or like a milkshake and there's a cherry in it, I'm saving it to the end because it's the treat at the end. And if that cherry gets snatched from you, I'm like, can you wait? My channel?

[Bronwyn Newport]

Honestly, I love Todd. He is my best buddy.

[Fran]

But what?

[Bronwyn Newport]

And it's not just the cherries, like, that was that day. But if I'm like, you know, eating, I kind of, like, I'm a kid. I eat around my plate. I eat the least favorite thing first. You know, he eats quickly. So he's always, like, picking off my plate, and it's always the thing I'm saving. And I'm like, do you want a divorce? I just need to know, let's be.

Honest, the best for you.

When my husband takes, like, a bite of my pickle, like, if I have a sandwich on my plate and I'm like, I'm obviously saving my pickle to the end.

I. There was some People magazine article the other day about a woman divorcing her husband because he ate the last slice of her birthday cake. And the amount of people who DM'd me that article, I was like, okay, this is not me, but hello, friend.

So funny. How. How did you enjoy the panels? Were you nervous at all?

[Bronwyn Newport]

You know, I was in really good company. I did, like, a OGs and newbies with girls that I respect on both sides of that. And then, you know, I did the Salt Lake panel, and I'm never nervous with those girls because I spend way too much time with them. And I'm always nervous with those girls because I know more than anyone else. And then I got to do fashion with Vanita and Rachel Zo, and there's nothing I love talking about more than that. So I was excited about all of it.

[Fran]

That's so fun. I mean, your first BravoCon, you hear things about BravoCon. It could be hectic. There's chaos, there's drama. Did you witness any of that? Or for you, it was just like, a fun, nice time meeting the fans.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I had a fun, nice time meeting the fans. I really did. I can't say enough about how wonderful the fans are, how, like, seriously, they take the shows, the things they know the ins and outs. So many. So many gout dick sucker sweatshirts in Las Vegas this week. And I appreciate the commitment to saying that publicly across your chest.

[Rhiannon]

Really, when you're like, you had to take that somewhere to be made.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

[Bronwyn Newport]

Kinko's FedEx office, people being like, what are we making this, Jones? So the fans were amazing. And I think sometimes even on the show, you see me just, like, in awe of the women ripping each other apart. And then I catch a strain. I'm like, wait, clock back in. I'm not here to watch. I'm not a fan. I'm part of this. But, yeah, I saw all kinds of messy stuff this weekend that I lived for. If it's not on our show, kill each other while I watch, please.

Because you are a Bravo fan.

Oh, I absolutely am. I was before AM now will be till the day I die. Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

Well, it's so funny. We were joking on Monday's episode about how, you know, with the Housewives franchise, the BravoCon drama is always a little different than maybe like the Southern charm or summer houses where they're like, it's very relationship based and all those things. But with the Housewives, you always leave BravoCon with someone being like, ugh, I'm. I met so and so, and they weren't nice. And like, that's always, I feel like one of the biggest stories. Did you have any unpleasant encounters with any other housewives or was everyone nice?

[Bronwyn Newport]

No unpleasant encounters for me with housewives.

[Fran]

No.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I'm nice to everybody. I feel like that's kind of my vibe on the show and in my real life. Because, you see, my real life on the show is I'm perfectly pleasant until you're not, and then I'm really unpleasant, you know, or at least I can be. So, no, everybody was wonderful to me. And I actually felt like this weekend at BravoCon because I got to know the other women. I did really see the sisterhood that I think so many people reference on being on the show. I would love to see more of that on our show. This, like, fight and makeup because we are sisters kind of a thing. But it was great with the other ladies. And then Candy got the wifetime achievement award of the Bravos and she really spoke about her cast, the current cast of Atlanta, and, like, there's no nobility in reality tv. Like, I don't want to be a guy and mighty about it, but it really was emotional hearing her say, I raised my daughter on this show. I got married on this show. All these businesses, I've done all this beautiful stuff. And yeah, we dragged each other to hell and back, but I love them. And I looked at Phaedra real quick. Does she love you?

[Fran]

Is that part of you?

[Bronwyn Newport]

But they do. And in a weird, sick, entertaining way, we do love each other, but we love each other enough to know each other's weak spots, too.

[Rhiannon]

That is true. That is true.

But no, I thought they're good with.

Everyone like Kim crying in the audience when, you know, when that was all happening.

[Fran]

I know everybody who watches Bravo feel old that we are, like, next.

And, you know, everyone was talking about that show too, Andy, And a lot of people, I think now their answer. And a lot of celebrities especially, have been saying, like, when they're asked, what's your favorite Bravo show? Right now, everyone says Salt Lake City. How does that feel?

[Bronwyn Newport]

It's unbelievable. It's my best defense with Todd, you know, when he's like, this show sucks. I'm like, well, you know, John Oliver doesn't think so.

[Noah]

Todd.

[Rhiannon]

So he's pretty intellectual.

[Fran]

Todd.

[Noah]

Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

Some of the smartest people in the world love Salt Lake City.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yes. And I live for it. You know, I know that Portia was saying, like, our show could stand to be a little bit more like Salt Lake, or we're coming for those girls. And I was like, okay, well, I don't want the Atlanta girls coming for me. To be fair, I could never keep up. But I kind of live for the fact that I don't know in the moment. I have a manager, and I text her a lot while we're filming, and I'm like, I don't know if we have anything good. It was kind of boring. And she was like, can you please read what you happened today? And I'm like, okay, never mind.

[Fran]

It's everything.

[Rhiannon]

Even when it's, like, not scandal level drama, because people are kind of. You know, we've had some. Certainly had some scandals on Salt Lake City.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Salt Lake is scandalous.

[Fran]

Yes.

[Rhiannon]

But even like, Nat, you know, even now, I wouldn't say there's necessarily massive scandals, but the conversations that you guys all have are so, I think, unintentionally. So funny.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I was gonna say, I think it's even better when we don't have the scandal because we're just wilding out.

[Rhiannon]

Exactly.

[Bronwyn Newport]

The craziest things come out of our mouths. And, you know, the way I am on the show is that you see what's happening as we film. So sometimes when we watch back. Do I wish I hadn't said that? Do I. Have I learned new things since then? Has my feelings changed? But yes, in the moment, that's how I felt. And I think everybody. Okay, well, I'm not gonna lie on your podcast. Most people on the show are committed to really being 100% themselves all the time. So, yeah, we are Looney Tunes. I mean, literally everyone compared me to Gossamer in that red heart code. So we are Looney Tunes the time. All the time.

[Fran]

With all the love that you were getting at BravoCon and the show as a whole, do you feel like any of the other franchises are a little jealous?

[Bronwyn Newport]

They should be. If they're not. Heads up. Yeah. Are you guys keeping the lights on at Bravo or.

[Fran]

No?

[Bronwyn Newport]

I mean, what are we doing here?

[Rhiannon]

Yeah, get to work.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I talked to. I won't tell you who it is, but I talked to one of the girls, and she said, you know, on my show, I'm the biggest asshole, but I think I'd be, like, the nicest one on Salt Lake. And I was like, okay, not too much now. Okay, not too much, but all also. But I said to her, I said, yeah, you seem this way because not everybody on her cast clocks in. Everybody on Salt Lake is willing to do the work, put their real self out there.

[Rhiannon]

That is definitely true. I. And you. And you definitely feel that way. And watching this season, we have felt it. I mean, you kind of came onto the show through Lisa Barlow.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

And that has certainly taken a turn as one and a half seasons now that we've. We've seen. Where do you think things went south for you and Lisa?

[Bronwyn Newport]

You know, I think we feel differently about it. Lisa's made it really clear that she and I were never friends in her mind, and that is, you know, breaking news to me. I did not realize that at the time. I'm very clear on it now. I mean, somebody telling you that on national television that you were never more than an acquaintance to them. Gets that point. Got through. I heard it. I heard. I received that message. Thank you. We are good. I didn't feel that way. And. And I guess I'm grateful that I'm just an acquaintance to her now. I'm happy being just an acquaintance to her now. Yeah, I'd maybe like to be. I'd like to be workplace proximity associates. As they say on the. On the Parks and Rec. We're not even co workers at this point, let alone friends, let alone sisters. We live in the state of Utah together, amongst others.

[Fran]

You're in the same state. Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Not the same state of mind ever, but we sometimes are in the same state of Utah. Yeah.

[Fran]

We asked you if you had seen last night's episode because while we're recording, we haven't seen it yet when this is airing. And you said, no, we don't watch before because you guys Have a leaking problem now. At BravoCon, Lisa Barlow was like, who's leaking stories? And everyone shouted, you.

[Bronwyn Newport]

And I want to point out I was not in the audience, nor did I ask anyone to say that I was tucked in bed with a migraine. But when I woke up the next morning and wasn't feeling well, that day did make me feel better.

[Fran]

Now, when you say you have a there's a leaking problem, expand on that.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I don't know about the episodes specifically. We just don't get them ahead of time anymore. And that was happening for part of last season and has been the case for this season. And the messaging that I got was that we just weren't getting them anymore because something was happening. I don't know if pieces of the episodes were out or if it was just somebody had seen the episode and was already out and about trying to get in front of something that was set on the episodes. I don't really know. I really. I'm a Virgo. I try to be as, you know, teacher's pet. I do not call Bravo. I do not call their pr. I don't ask for stuff to be cut out of episodes. I don't flip out when they portray me in a way that I myself acted on camera. You know, like, I just take it as it comes. So I'm not in with them. They don't tell me all the insider dirt, but. But somebody has something.

[Fran]

Somebody can't be trusted.

[Bronwyn Newport]

And like you said, shockingly enough, on a Housewives franchise, there is at least one person who can't be trusted.

[Fran]

It is interesting that you said, you know, them getting out ahead before the episode comes out. I had never even really thought about that, that if somebody gets a screener, they could start portraying themselves some way, like on an Instagram story or tweet or something, so that before the episode comes out, people are like, oh, well, they just said this. So it goes against that. So that would make a lot of sense. And honestly, kind of good on Bravo, I guess we're not sharing them with you guys. So we.

[Bronwyn Newport]

We are also fans. We watch when you watch now. And I will not be watching in real time tonight. I have a friend who's turning 40 and I will be with him. So, you know, God bless me on the interwebs, because I don't know what's coming and I don't know what it'll.

[Rhiannon]

Be till I am dying for it. Because another, like, Andy had said that this is like his favorite episode, which has me. So I'm like, oh, my God, I'm dying to see it it now.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I heard it. I heard that. He said that. And I was trying to think. I was like, okay, what was in last week's episode? Where do we go from there? What would be in this? I was trying to think. And yeah, I have a couple ideas.

[Fran]

What it could be.

[Bronwyn Newport]

We'll see.

You're usually watching in real time.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I usually watch in real time. You know, Utah's behind the time literally that it airs here in New York. So I get to watch it kind of. And then if I'm in Utah, I have a group of girlfriends that always wants to watch it together. But I try to watch. I try to keep up with it. Yeah, I'm the only person in my house who watches it. So somebody has to, right?

[Rhiannon]

Somebody has to do it. Well, there's no shortage of drama right now. And it's been hilariously entertaining. I guess we can start honestly with this yacht trip because I have so many questions. My first one is, how did you pack those inflatables?

[Bronwyn Newport]

Oh, the inflatables were the least of my concerns.

[Fran]

Those things just like roll.

[Bronwyn Newport]

First of all, I don't care if they get crushed, you know what I mean? And so I just roll those right up.

[Rhiannon]

How do they blow up? I mean, like, are the machines the thing?

[Bronwyn Newport]

Like the Moschino inflatable was hard to pack Amazon inflatables.

[Fran]

No.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah, that was easy. Yeah, I could have an Amazon inflatable. My little lieber today. For all you know, those things are.

[Rhiannon]

Tiny and you're ready to go. You're like, this is the time, like when you guys were thinking about tossing that unicorn. You're like, this is the time I got to bring out the inflatables.

[Bronwyn Newport]

You know, I always have an inflatable with me in case we want to get silly. And it just had felt really heavy the night before. I think I never want to say that you editing is never weird to me. I never. If I said it, it's on camera, you know, whatever. But there are things that you don't always get to see, just time wise. And those dinners are long and they are intense. And I mean, just. We were covered in flake blood. The boat was covered in fake blood. There was like a little strip tease by some of the crew that, you know, I hope we'll tease at the reunion since it didn't make the episode. So the night was long, it felt heavy. And I just the next day kind of wanted to, like, be silly with Meredith and I Had no idea where that silliness was gonna go. We. We launched the unicorn and a grenade.

[Rhiannon]

When you heard that unicorn, when you had that voice come out of that unicorn for the first time, what. What were you thinking?

[Bronwyn Newport]

I mean, you saw my face on camera first. I just saw the unicorn and was like, no, like, I do not want this. It's like the creepy baby from Traders that sings Tom Sandpole the backwards songs. Like, I didn't even want that in my room, you know?

[Fran]

Know.

[Bronwyn Newport]

But the voice box, truly, you know, Brittany is a tricky person for me because I love her and I care about her, but she drives me crazy. And I saw the unicorn and was repulsed by it. And then I heard the voice memo and I felt sad for her. I do. You know, immediately I clock that he did not say he loves her. He said that you are loved. Yeah, thanks. We know she's loved by somebody. It's not him, maybe, unfortunately. But also, I just kept picturing this grown man and a build a bear while children are making their own stuffed animals. Making that and thinking, this is an iconic good idea.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

This is gonna make her care about me or at least keep her sleeping with me.

[Rhiannon]

What irks me made me think that I'm like, there's other women with. With. With this.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

Like, I have. I was like, if he's doing. You're not going to. You're not going to the store. Making just one of those things.

[Bronwyn Newport]

People say, like, sometimes, you know, guys give the same gifts for Christmas to, like, multiple girlfriends in a row. Like, how many unicorn build a bears do you think there are floating around? There's probably a lot in trash cans now the episode's aired.

[Rhiannon]

Yeah, there. There might be a lot. You might be one of the only people that has an experience of being on one of these absolutely stunning yachts and sleeping outside.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

After you did not wanna sleep in that room, was that a nice sleep for you?

[Bronwyn Newport]

It was not my best night of sleep.

[Fran]

No.

[Bronwyn Newport]

It actually kept kind of raining off and on, and people kept being like, why there? So the boat was hot. There was some, like, AC issues in some of the inside rooms. And it was very Roc. And there was something about being hot while the boat was rocking that I was really veering into Angie territory. And we saw how dark that was with Angie and the bum. We really saw it. Bravo. Really went there with that. And that was scary to me. I didn't want to be kind of down and out that way, so I wanted to be outside. And then there's just not that many places outside that you could lay down. So the pool chair was one of them. So misery loves company. Every time the rain woke me up and I'd go huddle by the table where we would eat at, I would send Todd a text just so the. But it would wake him up, too, in solidarity with me back in Utah. Yeah.

[Fran]

Very fair. You're like, if I'm gonna be awake.

[Rhiannon]

Someone else is gonna have to be awake with me. How relieved were you to get off that boat? And then, I mean, I don't know what happened. No one really does, I guess. What happened on this plane.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

And I'm so curious how no one captured what was going on.

[Fran]

No one took their phone out.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I don't know. I mean, I can tell you I've traveled with the housewives before, and it's always a circus, no matter what. This sounds like. It was totally different than what I've usually fans are excited to see us in the airport, that kind of a thing. We have way too much luggage. The producers are trying to get us, you know, if we're not on camera, not to be trying to, like, discuss something that's happened on camera. They want to kind of keep us on ice, those kind of things, as we're traveling mid season. But I'm just grateful I wasn't on that plane, you know, really. Todd was coming to see me, so I was gonna stay. And then that didn't end up working. Cause he had a family emergency. So I left same day, but they'd already left. And it's a small place, and it's tricky to get off that island if you're not ahead of time and have something planned. So I actually. I was really feeling sorry for myself the whole way home. Like, this is not great. It's a slog. I didn't get to stay and see Todd, all these kind of things. And then when I heard what went on, I was like, oh, I had it easy. Okay, we'll do this 10 times over, you know, So. I don't know. I have all the same questions as everybody else. I feel kind of like stand in. In this regard. I wasn't on the plane. I don't know what I've heard is what you guys have all heard.

[Rhiannon]

Yeah. How did you feel hearing Meredith and Mary have that conversation where it was like Mary was trying to. I felt like, as a friend was trying to ask her to, you know, just fess up. Just like, talk about what's happening. And Meredith kept. It felt like Meredith was real. Is like, really staying on the. Did you talk to Meredith about how she acted?

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

So it's a big storyline coming up, how I feel about what goes on, or I think it is. I haven't seen the episode yet. What I lived is that, you know, originally I kept feeling like, you heard me say in the confessional that I would have felt like there would have been bigger ramifications if it had gone the way that they told me. And I know that some of the women are upset with me saying that. Their retelling seemed like it could have been an exaggeration. That's how I felt when I first heard it. And so I'm gonna, you know, be honest about that over time. Much like Mary, my feeling was if there was nothing Meredith could apologize for when everyone else was so upset and so clear, you know, Meredith's a wordsmith. You can't come up with a, I obviously went too far or I made you uncomfortable, or Britney was in tears, and she's my friend. She's not Meredith's friend. Brittany is in tears, and you guys care about her, and I don't want her. She's a human. I don't want a human crying over something I did. There was a way for Meredith to find something she could be accountable for. And then I just kind of felt like, if there's nothing you did wrong, maybe you did a lot wrong. And it's a. Like, it's a defense mechanism. I don't know. So I still don't know. You see me trying to, like, I think there's a Scooby Doo aspect of Saturn to Salt Lake City every single season. So maybe I'm the Scooby Doo this year trying to figure out what happened.

[Rhiannon]

So when they tell us we're going somewhere, I start formulating things and then I have to kind of reset once I know what we're doing and then once we actually get there, I never really have full time to like put everything together and remember. So I'm getting better as I pass giving myself an a photo of what I want it to look like. Because when someone's screaming and I'm just trying to put clothes on so I can be part of the chaos, I forget a necklace or an earring or you know, those kind of things. But I live for it. I said my first season that I wasn't gonna buy anything new. I was just gonna One way I was gonna really be myself on camera was only rare stuff I already owned. And you know, they're always saying to me, we're having Mafia night or we're having whatever and I'm like, I don't have anything Mafia. How am I gonna style like? And it's. And it's a fun challenge for me. I love Drag Race, and I like to, you know, think to myself that I'm living a Drag Race challenge. Oh, is putting together an outfit to fight with these hoes.

[Fran]

Oh, my God, I love that. So did you end up not buying anything new even if you told yourself, I'm not buying anything new?

[Bronwyn Newport]

I think I bought a couple of things for the first season, but not full looks. So season five was my first season, and then for this season, I bought a few things. But I rationalize it to myself, as I would have worn them that winter anyway, even if I hadn't worn them on camera.

[Fran]

Of course you gotta have new outfits. I mean, no one's judging you if you're like, I gotta step up with you. Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

But it's like this weird game I play with myself. I might need a hobby.

[Fran]

I might have too much time. That is a hobby. I guess fashion is a hobby, and.

[Rhiannon]

You really express yourself through all your fashion as well. When did that develop for you? At what age were you like, this is for me.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Oh, teeny tiny? I remember my mom really loves hair and makeup, and when I was in kindergarten, and she would. I would kneel in front of her sink, and she would get ready, and I would chat with her, and then she would do, like, elaborate braids, and I would always want makeup, and we'd do all this stuff together. We'd get ready in the morning together. We were like the original Get Ready with Me, you know, in the 80s, early 90s. But I remember arguing with her over what I would wear for sure, because she would send me in, like, opaque white tights and a little skirt to kindergarten. I couldn't play. I couldn't do any of that stuff. I'm not real outdoor cat, anyway. I'm an indoor dog for sure. But I remember having a very, very specific look I wanted. And I tell everybody this story. We moved when I was in first grade, and I went in the middle of the day to meet the class, and we. I mean, big move from a suburb of San Francisco to Holland. And I had on a beret and this little shift, plaid dress and matching shoes. And some kid in the class was. The adults thought it was really funny that he was like, oh, we have a California babe moving in. And I was like, obviously, this is a Parisian vibe. Like, yes, I came from California.

[Fran]

But, like, please be educated.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I was like, honestly, it's like, it's a tartan, but it's giving, you know, the beret gives Paris. So it's very European.

[Fran]

I've entered my Holland era. Thank you. So, I mean, from, like, six, seven, I've been really fussy about people calling my outfits costumes. Yes. Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

Well, it's been amazing to. To watch all the fashion. It's, like, so fun to see what you're gonna. What you're gonna show up in the episodes.

[Fran]

And I love.

[Rhiannon]

I love your honesty on this show because there are so many housewives, I think, that. That decide to share one part of their life, but not all of it. And I think you have come in, you share all of it, specifically your marriage, which I know I'm sure you probably get a lot of outside opinions on. And we just saw you had this conversation with Whitney, kind of like, about the being outside of your marriage or if Todd was okay with this, like, would you. Setting boundaries, all these things. What is. What are the conversations like with Todd when you're like, hey, this is what I talk about on tonight's episode?

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah. So I never wait till tonight's episode.

[Fran]

Fair.

[Rhiannon]

Okay, good start.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah, I never wait till that. That was a. That was a different thing. Usually Todd hears it in real time or he. You know, I don't, like, kind of pre plan. You can't pre plan. It's an ensemble. It's not a show about me. It's a show about me reacting to everybody else. Reacting to everybody else. And like this, you know, circle jerk, if we're gonna call this Barlow conversation. Oh. Is so, you know, I never know what's going to come up or how it's going to go. So you can't pre plan. And I think you can kind of tell when someone has because it doesn't fit in naturally to what's actually happening. But I do debrief with him when I get home. I think the producers would love with it if I debriefed with him more on camera. Todd doesn't want to be on camera. Poor Todd. Free Todd from the camera. Not from our marriage, hopefully.

[Fran]

But for you.

[Rhiannon]

Todd doesn't want to be on camera. I had no clue yet.

[Fran]

Who knows?

[Bronwyn Newport]

He's really subtle about it.

[Fran]

Right. Joining the cast in season five and now being on for the second season that you're on, did you tell yourself you were gonna share certain things and just be all out there, be honest, or did you just wait until the cameras were up and go, you know what? This is just gonna be me I've.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Been saying I said this at BravoCon this weekend, and I said it, you know, at. Watch what Happens Live. The other day. I told the producers and Andy if cameras were running, if we were in a filming, you know, month, that whatever happened in my life, they could have. And I. And now I say I regret saying that.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Which I had some boundaries about that, but I really went into it a little bit naive about how much stuff does come up in a season and you never know what's gonna happen in your life. When I started filming, I didn't know Lisa knew Gwen's grandparents and that that would come up. I might have felt differently about that if I thought that's where we were going. You know, my daughter's 19. That's a long. That's an old story in my life. It's not one that live in every day. My daughter, obviously, that is her family. We don't talk about them every day at this point in our house. So that was something I wasn't prepared for. And, you know, between seasons, my parents health was rapidly, you know, having. Becoming a problem, and they needed to be in with me. And I knew in the back of my mind as my mom was having surgery, as I was moving her, as I was putting my dad in memory care, that cameras were coming. But I wasn't like, oh, we're gonna have to explain this on camera. So I wouldn't say I wait till cameras are up, but I wait till I'm in the shower the morning that cameras are. Yeah. To be like, oh, God, I have to do this today.

[Rhiannon]

This is all happening.

[Bronwyn Newport]

So you get it pretty real time. And like I said earlier, it's how I felt right then. Sometimes you watch it back and you're like, oh, I should have done something different, or, you know, you've settled into a feeling. But I think you see a lot of my honest reactions in the moment as things are happening, and that's what makes it real.

[Fran]

I mean, as a lover of reality tv, Bravo, all of those things, you can tell when someone's, like, really giving their real reactions in that moment versus somebody's holding back. Why won't they tell the audience what's going on? When everybody has signed up to be on this show, so especially with your cast, it's all out there.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Well, and you know, me, like most people, I think about myself most and first and, you know, in the center of my own life. So when that plane stuff happened, I had gotten some very vague texts of this plane stuff is crazy. Was Your flight okay? Are you fine now that you've landed? And I thought they meant that they'd seen the tweet. About time, Todd. Because that's what happened on my flight. So then when production says we're filming tomorrow to talk about the journey home and everything that's come out, I think they thought that I knew and I didn't. So I went in expecting. We were all. They were all coming at me about Todd.

[Rhiannon]

Right.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I had no idea that they'd had their own plane.

[Fran]

Right. You're like, that's whatever that was. Yeah. This is the least.

[Bronwyn Newport]

You see me kind of being like, oh, right. Well, I wish I hadn't led with.

[Fran]

Todd at that point.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I'm learning to listen first, respond second. Todd gave me some advice going into our last trip. He says, maybe when somebody says something to you, you cut a piece of food and chew it and swallow, and then you respond. And I haven't started doing that yet, but I think about it.

[Rhiannon]

I'll think about it. I'll think about getting there. I mean, this is an assumption, but I'm assuming, you know, Todd would prefer you were not on this show. You're so amazing on the show. What? You know, how do you keep your marriage strong and together when that's a pretty huge thing that you guys disagree on?

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah, it's new in our relationship. Todd is doing something new at work. In the last couple of years, he's changed and pivoted, and I'm so incredibly proud of him. But I have very different political beliefs than some of the people that he has partnered with. And so we were kind of navigating that, I think. And it's something that this whole country is navigating right now. Can you have somebody in your life? Can you work with someone? Can you love somebody? Can you get along with somebody who feels differently when things are so divided? So we were navigating that from a work situation for him when I started doing this show. And I think much further than just, you know, a difference in political opinions. Todd really does not like anything about some of the women on the show, how they talk about him, how they talk about me, our family. So it's really been heavy while we were filming, which I think you see that we are trying to figure out. Out how we stay best friends, how we stay partners while we navigate that. And then, you know, not to be meta, but to not like the show and then also have the show's spotlight on top of him not liking the show lovingly. Todd hates to be on the show. And so he kind of acts like he hates it, and then people hate him for hating it, and then he hates it more, and he is in a downward spiral on camera. We have got to get, like, somebody needs like a cane, like, hooked hot off center stage, you know, like, he needs a reset. Yeah, he does. I love him, but he needs a reset on the show.

[Fran]

It's hard to navigate both because he is your husband. So how are you gonna show your life if you can't show him?

[Bronwyn Newport]

And I'm trying to figure that out as an adult. I mean, I turned 40 this year, so I should have some kind of life experience that has made me wise. And you've seen the show, so, you know, I don't. I make the same mistake over and over again, it seems like, But I still am navigating how I can you see it with my mom, too. How I can love somebody, how I can accept them for who they are, but really have a feeling that's different from theirs or a want that's different from theirs and stay close to them.

[Fran]

Has there been a compromise? Like, okay, we can film for this amount of time. You could do this on your own. I'll have to be there for that. Are those conversations happening with Todd?

[Bronwyn Newport]

You know, we talk about it, and there isn't a compromise. There's not an arrangement of any kind in my marriage today, right now about, you know, sex or the show. I know you're not asking, but I.

[Fran]

Know you want to, so I just.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Tell you, okay, I didn't go to Las Vegas and, you know, do anything. Slept every night alone in my bed in Las Vegas. Thank you, but it doesn't needed to be said. No, we don't have any specific arrangement. And I think I always know. Like, when I was talking to Whitney, I was like, dad is going to hate this. You know what I mean? And I don't get, like, satisfaction out of that. But I do have to be myself. I have to. I said in an interview this weekend at BravoCon, I love and respect Todd, but I also have to love and respect myself. And I like sharing. I like talking to people. I like being clear about who I am and where I'm going. Because that conversation with Whitney was informative for me, hearing myself say some things. Sometimes you hear yourself and you think, wow, that's more important to me than I thought it was. Or, I can't believe I said that. Or maybe I'm uncomfortable or. And watching it back, hear Whitney's experiences and what she's Gone through. So I love Todd, and I don't want to embarrass him. I don't want to make him uncomfortable. But me not talking about things is also not me.

[Rhiannon]

Yeah, definitely. We were here in New York, and I know that you love New York and love theater.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

And I believe you're. You're producing a show right now.

[Bronwyn Newport]

So we did Cabaret last year, and Queen of Versailles is out right now. And my husband and I have gone back and forth on, you know, what our involvement is on that. And so especially, like, with the show, we didn't say this, but with the show and with these other things, Todd wants to support me, but that doesn't always mean that he enjoys the same things as me. So, you know, it's. We are. Look at Todd learning new things. You know what I mean?

[Rhiannon]

He's learning to. You're like, all right, we're headed to Broadway, Todd.

[Bronwyn Newport]

But I do. I do love. I mean, Brittany and I should be better friends. She's an old, you know, Broadway adjacent girl. She's gonna punch me for something.

[Fran]

It's true.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Britney.

[Rhiannon]

I think you did a pretty good job on the show of clearing up whatever stories had come up about you and that so and so were leaked. Do you think Lisa Barlow leaked that information about you?

[Bronwyn Newport]

I know Lisa didn't leak it, because I know that Lisa is not the person who was saying it on Twitter. And I think when I got on the boat, what I was trying to say is that my husband and I felt like there's this pretty trackable record of when you argue with Lisa or you kind of go against her. Lisa, you hear Lisa, she'll say, don't do that with me.

[Rhiannon]

I'll.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I have stuff on you, or I'll. I'll ruin you. Or if you want to go dark with me, I'll go dark with you. She said that last time. She knows things about the women. Very open that people seem to just come to her at the grocery store with information about all of us. Maybe I should start cooking. I should go to the grocery store where we. Where was this information happening? In Salt Lake. So I never really accused Lisa of doing it. In fact, I kind of say I don't want to. We'd had a truce going into the boat, and I didn't really want to say out and out that Todd thought it was her. Do I think Lisa tweeted it, leaked it.

[Fran]

No.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Do I think that there is something about Lisa and her Persona, at a bare minimum, that encourages other people to ride for her in this way where they want to protect her and create a narrative around her that everyone else is damaging her and she's just fighting back. No one on Housewives is solely just fighting back. We all throw our first stone. You know what I mean? We all have. And that would be the most generous take. The worst take is probably. And I'll just say the truth, because it is my truth about it and how I feel. I hate the phrase my truth. I can't believe I just said that. But the way I feel about it is that I do think that she is happy when negative things come out about us. Takes the heat off her having to show things in her life that maybe she doesn't know how to talk about. And I think my feeling is you should expend the energy to be the person you want to be, not push other people down so you look like the person you want to be. And maybe the baby gorgeous should think about that. So do I think she is posting something from an anonymous Twitter account? No. Do I think she talks to people who use Twitter? Yes. Do I think we have seen screenshots on Instagram where she talks to bloggers?

[Fran]

Yes.

[Bronwyn Newport]

She defends herself. She talks about us. So is she part of that food chain? Yeah.

[Rhiannon]

Do you think it all fuels these online, like, leakers, whatever you want to call them? These.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Leak is the wrong term. It's not a leak.

[Rhiannon]

You know, it's just they're the. They're looking for the tea. They're looking for the drama because they want to post it, and they're getting it on. Up on. On Reddit or all these things. And then do you think it's motivating to them that, like, it becomes such a discussed topic on the show?

[Fran]

I really.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I really.

[Rhiannon]

That they're like, we should keep doing this because now, like, our names, our tweets, our tiktoks. Like that one random girl that made a TikTok about seeing sad. Like, it's like, now she's on the show.

[Bronwyn Newport]

There are so many of us who feel like it should not be talked about on camera, that if it is a rumor online, it should not be brought on camera because it does encourage these people to do this and, you know, get your bag, do your job. But it's a separate job to me than the show is.

[Rhiannon]

It doesn't necessarily be brought onto the show.

[Fran]

Right.

[Bronwyn Newport]

There was a few, like, content creators at BravoCon who were spicy with me because they were like, oh, hey, I'm so and so I, you know, said.

[Rhiannon]

X about you take a selfie. And I was straight up watching that girl's TikTok is, like, fully on the show.

[Bronwyn Newport]

And I think that they should do what they want to do, and that's their job. But I think what they don't realize is to be on camera is a different level. Talking about what we are showing on camera is not the same thing as showing your life on camera. And I welcome them to come on and bleed out every episode that I way that all of us do. And tell me if you still would think it was funny that people tweeted about you. You won't.

[Fran]

They. They thrive off of it. Their name gets mentioned. They're all excited. They feel like they're famous now because they were mentioned.

[Bronwyn Newport]

I did. I was disappointed that we named. Checked some of the tweets and some of the TikTokers one. I don't know what the, like, you know, ethicalness around, like, did Bravo reach out to them?

[Rhiannon]

It's like, they talk about it, so I assume cement, like, they have to.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Cry them because I feel like it does encourage it. It does fuel it. And there's so much that's said about each and every one of us that is exaggerated or untrue or, like, could be spicy. So we say it, you know, and it's just not necessary. We all can do that to each.

[Fran]

Other, and it is true.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Let us do it to each other.

[Fran]

They want selfies with you at BravoCon.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Yeah.

[Fran]

Even though they're writing about you.

[Bronwyn Newport]

And I actually had a good talk with that person. They messaged me and said, I realize that that came across maybe weird. I was trying to just say, hey, it's me. So you are warm. But the way I took it and I told her this is. You were, like, kind of felt like you were giddy to tell me that you'd said this thing about my husband and then thought you were gonna post a picture of us buddied up. And I'm not. So we've talked it out. We worked it out in the remix, her and I. Is that still a cool thing?

[Fran]

Yeah, totally.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Absolutely.

[Fran]

It worked.

[Bronwyn Newport]

But, yeah, I think it's a weird thing that this whole sub, like, career has evolved out of the Bravo shows, of talking about the Bravo show shows. I mean, we're here talking about a Bravo show.

[Fran]

Right? That is true.

[Bronwyn Newport]

So I would love for. I would Love for it to be about us in our lives. And it's an interesting thing because that does affect our lives, but it's also the show within the show. Yeah, you know, definitely.

[Fran]

Right. There's so many layers to it. Everybody wants to be a part of the juicy gossip. Especially with this season and this cast. Who doesn't want to be part of.

[Bronwyn Newport]

Salt Lake right now?

Everybody wants to be a part of it.
