I know, it's lovely. I took I took a step outside this morning and I am Normally in shorts and a T shirt, walking olive in the morning when I. You know, right when I get up.

Maybe even a tank.

Yeah, it's too hot, maybe. Sometimes I'm feeling crazy. Sometimes even a day, because it has been that hot out has been. And I anticipated that same feeling. And I walked outside. It's like a. It was a little crisp in the air. It's gorgeous.

Look at us. We're both in yoga pants.

I know, I know. I feel like the fall was around the corner, which I didn't love, to be honest. I mean, the. The. The breeze felt amazing, but I was like, wow, it feels like an early September morning.

It's getting a little warmer out now, but it's just. It's just so nice when the humidity is not so bad. Right.

It breaks through. You could walk around without it feeling like you' choking on the air. That's always really, really nice. Last night, we hosted a little talk with Sheena Shea about her book My good side at 92Y in New York, which was really, really cool. And we got to ask Sheena all about her book, and she gave us a little inside scoops, and it was really awesome to be a part of that and really, really great interview and conversation that we hopefully will be putting out. We're waiting to get that footage back, and hopefully we can share all of that with you on this show because it was really great.

It was. It was. And I. Interviewing Sheena is, like, the easiest because she's just open book, open book. And she's promoting her memoir, so that makes it even more so of an open book because she's telling all the stories and letting everybody know what's up. And it was also so great because she had her mom and her sister with her. We've met her mom before, who was so lovely so to see them. And then she had little gifts prepared for us, and they were cute little boxes, and we opened them when we got home. I opened mine first. I don't want to ruin the surprise. First of all, I opened the card. It was like a Sheena. Just a themed card. Like, it was a cartoon and her tattoo. It's all happening. I was like, first I just saw the card, and I was like, this is so iconic. Honestly, I love that I just even have the card. Like, I felt like this. This is a piece of memorabilia almost for sure.

You know, we could sell it.

Yeah. I was like, this is an amazing card. And then I opened the Box. I gasped. It was a Labubu. It was a Labubu. And, you know, we have had our opinions. We've been talking shit.

I've been talking a load of smack.

Yeah, I know you have. You have. And yet there was something about opening that box where I thought, oh, my God, I have one. And then I texted you and I said, I don't want to ruin the surprise, but you must open this gift immediately.

And I said, oh, my God, I can't wait. And then saw it was a little boo boo. And I said, I can't open this without calling Fran and GIA on FaceTime to open the Lubu boo in front of them. And then all the anticipation, like, I started to feel, I was like, okay, I get it now. Like, I understand. Like, there's something about getting the box.

That you don't know which one it is that I think is a big element that we were not factoring.

[Olive]

No, the surprise feeling of, like, what's it gonna be? And then you kind of are like, oh, what does your friend have? And, like, what do you have? And, you know, everyone's talking about the ones they have. Maybe we'll do a swap or maybe, you know, you borrow.

There's a chance you got. Maybe you got the secret one, right? No, you never know. They're not in your favor for that, but.

Right. And open it up. I got the blue one. Hope. So pretty, so cute. And I hate that I'm even saying that I hate that those words are coming out of my mouth now. Am I gonna attach it to my nice bags? No. No, I am not gonna do that. Well, I attach it to maybe a tote bag for the week.

And like, you know, growing up on Long island, like, people went to Montauk and they went to the Hamptons, and it was definitely a thing that people did.

But it was like a cute beach town. You know what I mean? Like, it was like, cute, you know?

Yeah, yeah, it was.

That's. It has just grown into this whole phenomenon online where Kelly Keek sent us.

An article that's exactly what I was pulling up right now that said, is.

Is Montauk the Ibiza of America?

No, no, no. I know. And I think it's. It is crazy because especially from being close enough to the area.

You know, you hear all the people and all the memes, all the jokes are made that the influencers are ruined in the Hamptons. And it used to be so different, and Montauk was so different. Montague was just a little fisherman's town. Like, you know, you hear everyone and they're not wrong. Like, that is the case and it has changed drastically. But seeing is the secret. NYC posted is Montauk the Ibiza of America. And it's just all pictures of people at the surf lodge. And the bio is that this she came. This chic Hamptons town has been an exclusive spot for a minute. But this summer, she's exploded in popularity with sunset parties and international DJs, which is like, not. It's not wrong. Like it has. But it's not just this year.

It's, you know, and by the way, like, Montauk in the Hamptons was always a place where rich people went. Like, you know that it was a thing. It's just gotten so influencer heavy. And, you know, I'm gonna put my glasses up like this for just a quick minute. As somebody who has recently been to Abuse.

It'S nothing like Abiza.

That's one of the top comments. It says anyone who calls Montauk the abyss of America has clearly never stepped foot in Ibiza, or they'd be embarrassed to make such a ridiculous claim.

It's such a ridiculous statement. I'm like, what? It's just absurd. And here's the thing.

I'm sure I'm about the DJ scene because there are a lot.

There are a lot of DJs that are popping in that are.

And. And there's a lot of events now in Montauk that are very, like, event focused and DJ focus. Like a DJs are doing a lot of shows out there. So I get it. Maybe just like, solely from the music aspect, but everything else. Not even close. No, it's not.

Biggest DJs in the world are headlining Abuse.

But I'm going to. We don't. We have no plan. We have no plans to be at the Surf Lodge.

Yeah, we usually do the shore every year, which we love, obviously, the Jersey Shore, but everyone was kind of voting in changing it up this year and just trying something new that we haven't done before. So we'll feel it out. We may be back to the shore next year or. Or we'll love it there. We'll. We'll find out. I'm. I'm keeping my eyes and my mind wide open.

Wide open. No, I think we're. We're gonna have an absolute blast. I am good for one Hamptons weekend this summer, and you do all the things. You make all the plans, and it's so nice. And then. And. And that's it. Then you come home, you go, I'm. That was great. I'm good. Because I'm. I'm only used to going there and doing the, you know, going out and having, like, not, like, all a full itinerary, basically, because every time I'm out there, it's for, like, a birthday or about. Like, it's. There's some sort of reason I'm out there, which is very different than, obviously, if you're out there every weekend and some weekends, you can park your ass on the beach for three days and not see or talk to anybody.

Yeah.

Or the next weekend you want to hit up, you know, common ground. Like, it's. Like, it changes depending on what you want to do.

For sure. I like, will I be trying the chicken salad from Round Swamp Farm?

Right, right, right. That's. That was actually the one thing on.

Your one request I have. I love chicken salad, and I want to try the chicken salad from Round Swamp Farm. Now. I've been to not cuz we're going. We're staying in like East Hampton. But I have been to Montauk, like growing up. Stayed in condos and stuff like that. Not growing up. Definitely not in elementary, middle school, or high school. It was like kind of like after that I had been in that setting, but not like going out.

Yeah.

You know, I haven't experienced.

[Ria Ciuffo]

It's like we said, it's changed.

Yeah. I've never like gone out in that area before. So it will be. It'll be fun to see. I'm. I'm open to it and I'm ready to have a good time. And my birthday is Saturday. I'm turning 28, which somebody asked me today actually. They're like, how old are you turning? I'm like, I'm turning 28. And they're like, you know what? Finally I'm like, it's like, I feel like they're like.

Feels appropriate. That feels like the age that you should be.

It feels like I've been 28 for six years actually.

So yeah, I'm excited now.

It's gonna be great. With some really cute puppies in the office this morning, which I love. Money Paws brought some puppies in for everybody to play with and see and cuddle with. And they were so yummy and cute and squishy. I took all of up to say hi to them because they're all, you know, they're all under the muddy Paws family.

So cute. You saw your brothers and sisters.

I know. And they can all be adopte and they're. I think there she's. They said they were gonna be on the site either today or, or at some point, so you can go check them out. They were really cute. There was cookie and there was croissant. Aww.

It is. It's a big hit. Loved Ozzy Osbourne's music growing up and I feel like I've learned a lot about Ozzy Osbourne's life because I love Motley Crue, which I've. If you've been listening to this show for years, then you know that about me and Motley Crue toured with Ozzy Osbourne and they wrote the book and they did their movie the Dirt and so many stories about Ozzy and just amazing music or like, in my opinion. I love, I love his music. So it's very sad. And he just did his last show, which was actually, you know, it's very sad, but at the same time really beautiful that he got to see everybody celebrate him. Right before he passed, he had been living with Parkinson's, which is really sad. And he's only 76 years old, which is quite young. And I will say this though, he has lived quite a life for somebody who got into the shenanigans that he did at a young age that, you know, with, you know, mly crew talk so much about it and even them.

Notifications went up this week in Midtown on 5th Ave. Between 36 and 38th street, alerting residents they would be filming in the area on Tuesday, warning them to move their cars by Monday. The project name was listed as Cerulean, the color used in a fame monologue given by Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly. You know, about the culture reach, blah, blah, blah, blah. So then they gave the quote of, you know, it's not. It's not turquoise, it's cerulean.

And I think I kept some, like, journals and stuff. But even there's so many things that I threw away myself that I'm like, I wish I kept that.

When they were together. And she was asked, and she was like, I'm in my bathroom right now. I do use this every single day. Because somebody. Somebody asked, are you just using this when it's on camera? She said she does use it every day. Do you believe her or do you not believe her?

That is the question. I, you know, I lean more towards. She uses it mixed with other things, you know, because she'll put a little.

I just envision JLO as someone who has a vanity that is just filled with products to the brim, where some nights she's going full La Mer face, and some nights she's going with, you know, a little dab of JLO beauty here, J. Lo beauty there. By the way, her serums are not cheap. Like, they're like. One of the serums is like, over $100.

It's all together. Like I'm not too particular and picky with my interface of like I'm, you know, just how often I use these. I'm going 1 HBO to Peacock and then it's really a battle between 3 and 4. 3A and 3B would be Hulu and Netflix. Like I sometimes really. Yeah, I know.

Prime on there, huh?

Prime would be the last. But I do, I really love all the streaming services. I have nothing bad to say about them. And prime, although would be ranked last. Oh my God. Then we're talking about Apple. Oh God. You got me off Apple tv.

I forget like, why do I always forget about.

And it's your most.

You watch every Apple TV show.

[Olive]

Like the spokesperson for Apple TV. Yeah, shit. Because I would throw Apple TV in there as well. I would maybe put Apple 3 Apple TV at 3. And then I would go Netflix and Hulu 4A, 4B combined. Because I really can't choose between the two. I bounce back and forth all the time. Hulu's been lacking as of late. You know, they used to really have a head up for me personally, lately they've been lacking. And then last I'd go Prime video because I do love it. But I would probably put it below the others. But once again, I love all of them. So I don't really have any qualms.

Right. Because it's also like there's a lot of variables here of like what you factor into it as it's. Is it. Is it watchability? Is it the interface? Is it how much you are using it? Is it the shows that are on it? You know, so Netflix did roll out a new new upgraded TV experience at the beginning of May.

[Fran Mariano]

Maybe that's when they like up their pricing too.

I. And I really, I really do not like it. It has like the.

Like it's just. I don't.

I actually do have that.

I just do nothing yet over. It's really big. And then it's not all the little rows anymore. It's just really big. So like it's the whole row takes up the whole screen.

I'm not a big fan of it and honestly it knocks it down some for me because every time I open Netflix now I get like. I'm like, I can't find Anything. I feel like an old person. Like, I can't find my show.

Yes. I probably go one right now. I probably go Peacock, HBO Max.

How often are you guys watching HBO Max?

HBO Max Max is on often in my household.

HBO Max is probably sweating from how much it's being used. Yeah.

Entourage, Friends, Sopranos, Sex in the City. Like, yeah. The way that I'm squeezing out the most I possibly can.

I also like the look of HBO Max.

I'm like, you know, I'm factoring that into my ratings here because I think Hulu actually needs an upgrade. Like, I think Hulu, they have not. Haven't really changed theirs in a while. And then I think maybe go. I think I would go Prime Video, not necessarily because of shows, but because of movies. And, like, you can access basically every movie, you know, whether you rent it or whatever. You can, like, like, access any movie. And then.

No, Paramount.

Paramount is the worst app.

I think I'd go Apple T. No, I would go. I'd go Netflix, Hulu, Apple tv, Paramount. Paramount's a terrible app.

It's a bad app. They got up that app. It's bad. They need to do something different with that.

[Ria Ciuffo]

Yeah, Yeah. I think that's probably where I'm at right now. Just because I probably clocked the most hours on Peacock. I know half that's because of Love island right now, but Bravo shows everything. Like, I'm on. I'm just. I'm on Peacock a lot. I think Peacock's super, super easy to use.

Peacock and HBO Max are getting put on in my house every day.

Yeah.

In some capacity. No, I'm sorry. HBO Max might tell me then they. They need a break.
