Ria Ciuffo
What's up everyone?
Olive
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Happy Wednesday everybody. It is a gorgeous day in New York today. The weather is just absolutely magnificent. How are we feeling today?
Ria Ciuffo
I know, it's lovely. I took I took a step outside this morning and I am Normally in shorts and a T shirt, walking olive in the morning when I. You know, right when I get up.
Olive
Maybe even a tank.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, it's too hot, maybe. Sometimes I'm feeling crazy. Sometimes even a day, because it has been that hot out has been. And I anticipated that same feeling. And I walked outside. It's like a. It was a little crisp in the air. It's gorgeous.
Olive
Look at us. We're both in yoga pants.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, I know. I feel like the fall was around the corner, which I didn't love, to be honest. I mean, the. The. The breeze felt amazing, but I was like, wow, it feels like an early September morning.
Olive
It does. It's delicious.
Ria Ciuffo
Now. It's.
Olive
It's.
Ria Ciuffo
It's getting a little warmer out now, but it's just. It's just so nice when the humidity is not so bad. Right.
Olive
It breaks through. You could walk around without it feeling like you' choking on the air. That's always really, really nice. Last night, we hosted a little talk with Sheena Shea about her book My good side at 92Y in New York, which was really, really cool. And we got to ask Sheena all about her book, and she gave us a little inside scoops, and it was really awesome to be a part of that and really, really great interview and conversation that we hopefully will be putting out. We're waiting to get that footage back, and hopefully we can share all of that with you on this show because it was really great.
Ria Ciuffo
It was. It was. And I. Interviewing Sheena is, like, the easiest because she's just open book, open book. And she's promoting her memoir, so that makes it even more so of an open book because she's telling all the stories and letting everybody know what's up. And it was also so great because she had her mom and her sister with her. We've met her mom before, who was so lovely so to see them. And then she had little gifts prepared for us, and they were cute little boxes, and we opened them when we got home. I opened mine first. I don't want to ruin the surprise. First of all, I opened the card. It was like a Sheena. Just a themed card. Like, it was a cartoon and her tattoo. It's all happening. I was like, first I just saw the card, and I was like, this is so iconic. Honestly, I love that I just even have the card. Like, I felt like this. This is a piece of memorabilia almost for sure.
Olive
You know, we could sell it.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I was like, this is an amazing card. And then I opened the Box. I gasped. It was a Labubu. It was a Labubu. And, you know, we have had our opinions. We've been talking shit.
Olive
I've been talking a load of smack.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I know you have. You have. And yet there was something about opening that box where I thought, oh, my God, I have one. And then I texted you and I said, I don't want to ruin the surprise, but you must open this gift immediately.
Olive
And I said, oh, my God, I can't wait. And then saw it was a little boo boo. And I said, I can't open this without calling Fran and GIA on FaceTime to open the Lubu boo in front of them. And then all the anticipation, like, I started to feel, I was like, okay, I get it now. Like, I understand. Like, there's something about getting the box.
Ria Ciuffo
That you don't know which one it is that I think is a big element that we were not factoring.
Olive
No, the surprise feeling of, like, what's it gonna be? And then you kind of are like, oh, what does your friend have? And, like, what do you have? And, you know, everyone's talking about the ones they have. Maybe we'll do a swap or maybe, you know, you borrow.
Ria Ciuffo
There's a chance you got. Maybe you got the secret one, right? No, you never know. They're not in your favor for that, but.
Olive
Right. And open it up. I got the blue one. Hope. So pretty, so cute. And I hate that I'm even saying that I hate that those words are coming out of my mouth now. Am I gonna attach it to my nice bags? No. No, I am not gonna do that. Well, I attach it to maybe a tote bag for the week.
Ria Ciuffo
Maybe. Maybe Hope's coming to the Hamptons this year.
Olive
Bringing Hope to the Hamptons, Abercrombie just launched their new bra Free collection. Built to make going bra free that much smoother, the collection features pieces with removable padding and double line fabrics that give you the extra coverage you need to leave your bra at home. By the way, we are doing a TikTok Live Today, Wednesday at 2pm Eastern, with Abercrombie showing you so many exciting new items that are. That we absolutely love and how we style them. Your personal best, Abomi's Active brand just dropped a ton of new sets that are comfy enough for your morning Pilates class. Or if you're just running to grab a quick coffee and you want to take a. A quick picture, it's just cute enough for it all. Abercrombie drops new arrivals every week Straight from your for you page to your closet shop their latest new arrivals in the app online and in store, honestly, is a whole other thing. We are going to the Hamptons this weekend, but there's just so much talk about the Hamptons lately. I don't know if your Hamptons fatigued online, but, like, I am a little bit and I hate to be that. I go back and forth where, like, I'm very excited. And I love just getting a house with friends in a beach town. There's nothing better than like a beach weekend in a house. And a lot of the times, the best parts are hanging out in the house with everybody. In my opinion, you know, the jokes, the inside jokes that come, it's a blast. But there's so much talk about the Hamptons lately. Everybody and their mother, sister, brother, father, second cousin, step siblings are all in the Hamptons. I'm like, why? Everybody's there. And like, you know, growing up on Long island, like, people went to Montauk and they went to the Hamptons, and it was definitely a thing that people did.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
But it was like a cute beach town. You know what I mean? Like, it was like, cute, you know?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, it was.
Olive
That's. It has just grown into this whole phenomenon online where Kelly Keek sent us.
Ria Ciuffo
An article that's exactly what I was pulling up right now that said, is.
Olive
Is Montauk the Ibiza of America?
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no. I know. And I think it's. It is crazy because especially from being close enough to the area.
Olive
Yeah, from the area.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, you hear all the people and all the memes, all the jokes are made that the influencers are ruined in the Hamptons. And it used to be so different, and Montauk was so different. Montague was just a little fisherman's town. Like, you know, you hear everyone and they're not wrong. Like, that is the case and it has changed drastically. But seeing is the secret. NYC posted is Montauk the Ibiza of America. And it's just all pictures of people at the surf lodge. And the bio is that this she came. This chic Hamptons town has been an exclusive spot for a minute. But this summer, she's exploded in popularity with sunset parties and international DJs, which is like, not. It's not wrong. Like it has. But it's not just this year.
Olive
It's, you know, and by the way, like, Montauk in the Hamptons was always a place where rich people went. Like, you know that it was a thing. It's just gotten so influencer heavy. And, you know, I'm gonna put my glasses up like this for just a quick minute. As somebody who has recently been to Abuse.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Olive
It'S nothing like Abiza.
Ria Ciuffo
That's one of the top comments. It says anyone who calls Montauk the abyss of America has clearly never stepped foot in Ibiza, or they'd be embarrassed to make such a ridiculous claim.
Olive
It's such a ridiculous statement. I'm like, what? It's just absurd. And here's the thing.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm sure I'm about the DJ scene because there are a lot.
Olive
There are a lot of DJs that are popping in that are.
Ria Ciuffo
And. And there's a lot of events now in Montauk that are very, like, event focused and DJ focus. Like a DJs are doing a lot of shows out there. So I get it. Maybe just like, solely from the music aspect, but everything else. Not even close. No, it's not.
Olive
It's just not. But also not even from the music aspect.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, no, I know.
Olive
Biggest DJs in the world are headlining Abuse.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, I.
Olive
It's just. It's wild. A wild statement. We are going and we are gonna have fun. But if I see another person dancing with their chicken tender at Surf Lodge, I'm gonna lose my mind. They're like, I don't go for the drinks, I go for the chicken tenders. Like, oh, my God, you're so different. Like, like, I just. Sorry, I'm just wonder.
Ria Ciuffo
But I'm going to. We don't. We have no plan. We have no plans to be at the Surf Lodge.
Olive
We don't have plans. But if we end up there.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm sorry, if we end up there, the way I'm gonna, like, like, put chicken fingers, like, in your pants and take pictures of you, like, from behind to be like, ah, she's got the chicken finger.
Olive
No, and here's the thing. Like, you're. It's the classic. You're a hater until you're in it, right?
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, I'm hating shitting on the boobas for weeks. We have something like, oh, we love them. I got loyalty, Rhea got hope. They're so cute. I know.
Olive
And listen, we can acknowledge that here I am going, if I see that fucking chicken finger one more time. But if this weekend we so happen to make our way there and a chicken finger ends up in my hands, am I going to eat it? Of course. Of course I am.
Ria Ciuffo
They are chicken fingers.
Olive
I will say you had them.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I've had them.
Olive
You bitch. No, I mean, listen, just. Just joshing. But it has just. It has felt like a lot online, if you do follow.
Ria Ciuffo
It has. And it's just. It's turned into quite the scene, for sure. So that's definitely true. Thank you, Olive. Beautiful view.
Olive
Yeah. And listen, if you are going to Surf Lodge and you're eating those chicken tenders, I am not judging you. You enjoy yourself, okay?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. Yes.
Olive
You enjoy your time, and you enjoy.
Ria Ciuffo
That phobias.
Olive
Is Montauk, the Ibiza of America. I know.
Ria Ciuffo
What? I know.
Olive
Anyways, we are going, and I can't wait. We're gonna have so much fun.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. So we'll be in the Hamptons.
Olive
So anyways, we will be in the Hamptons this weekend, mainly because we decided that we should just switch it up. Like, we usually do the shore every year.
Ria Ciuffo
My birthday is on Saturday.
Olive
My birthday is Saturday. Yeah, we usually do the shore every year, which we love, obviously, the Jersey Shore, but everyone was kind of voting in changing it up this year and just trying something new that we haven't done before. So we'll feel it out. We may be back to the shore next year or. Or we'll love it there. We'll. We'll find out. I'm. I'm keeping my eyes and my mind wide open.
Ria Ciuffo
Wide open. No, I think we're. We're gonna have an absolute blast. I am good for one Hamptons weekend this summer, and you do all the things. You make all the plans, and it's so nice. And then. And. And that's it. Then you come home, you go, I'm. That was great. I'm good. Because I'm. I'm only used to going there and doing the, you know, going out and having, like, not, like, all a full itinerary, basically, because every time I'm out there, it's for, like, a birthday or about. Like, it's. There's some sort of reason I'm out there, which is very different than, obviously, if you're out there every weekend and some weekends, you can park your ass on the beach for three days and not see or talk to anybody.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Or the next weekend you want to hit up, you know, common ground. Like, it's. Like, it changes depending on what you want to do.
Olive
For sure. I like, will I be trying the chicken salad from Round Swamp Farm?
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right, right. That's. That was actually the one thing on.
Olive
Your one request I have. I love chicken salad, and I want to try the chicken salad from Round Swamp Farm. Now. I've been to not cuz we're going. We're staying in like East Hampton. But I have been to Montauk, like growing up. Stayed in condos and stuff like that. Not growing up. Definitely not in elementary, middle school, or high school. It was like kind of like after that I had been in that setting, but not like going out.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You know, I haven't experienced.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like we said, it's changed.
Olive
Yeah. I've never like gone out in that area before. So it will be. It'll be fun to see. I'm. I'm open to it and I'm ready to have a good time. And my birthday is Saturday. I'm turning 28, which somebody asked me today actually. They're like, how old are you turning? I'm like, I'm turning 28. And they're like, you know what? Finally I'm like, it's like, I feel like they're like.
Ria Ciuffo
Feels appropriate. That feels like the age that you should be.
Olive
It feels like I've been 28 for six years actually.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
So yeah, I'm excited now.
Ria Ciuffo
It's gonna be great. With some really cute puppies in the office this morning, which I love. Money Paws brought some puppies in for everybody to play with and see and cuddle with. And they were so yummy and cute and squishy. I took all of up to say hi to them because they're all, you know, they're all under the muddy Paws family.
Olive
So cute. You saw your brothers and sisters.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. And they can all be adopte and they're. I think there she's. They said they were gonna be on the site either today or, or at some point, so you can go check them out. They were really cute. There was cookie and there was croissant. Aww.
Olive
So cute.
Ria Ciuffo
They were really, really cute.
Olive
Cuddles.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. She's like, let me back in. Which were so cute. Frank came up for a couple minutes and croissant just like laid on his chest and snuggle. And I was like, frank, I think you need a puppy.
Olive
Take croissant home.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. So I think you might need a puppy, Frank.
Olive
That's sweet.
Ria Ciuffo
That was. That was very nice. They're doing their pack challenge this month where there's their big fundraising event for the month. So if you. If you want or can donate to help these little nuggets. I have a little page and it's in my bio on Instagram. You want to make out with me while I tell people to do.
Olive
Oh, she's getting so Excited.
Ria Ciuffo
Wow. Yes. Donate.
Olive
Oh, so there's something to say. It sounds like it. It looks like it.
Ria Ciuffo
I know, right? She's like sniffing right into the microphone.
Olive
So cute.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
She's so. Yeah. Go to Fran. Go to Fran's page in her bio.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. And you can donate and. And help them out. They would love it. There's really like, Isabelle Simon sits. Just got a new foster, this little like pitbull mix named Itsy.
Olive
Oh, Itsy Bitsy Spider. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Itzy. She's so cute. She needs like a double ear surgery or something. Like, her ears are so bad. So they were fundraising for that as well. So all. All of your money goes to the causes to help these dogs, especially the ones that come in that do need these massive surgeries. They're so expensive and it. And it helps save them.
Olive
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
So it's very nice. And she had a lovely time up there with them. They were so, so cute.
Olive
And now she wants a little nap.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
I need some olive cuddles because I'm devastated about the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away, which now happened. Just happened. It delayed our podcast recording at least 20 minutes because I'm so upset.
Ria Ciuffo
That's a hit for the Chiffo family.
Olive
It is. It's a big hit. Loved Ozzy Osbourne's music growing up and I feel like I've learned a lot about Ozzy Osbourne's life because I love Motley Crue, which I've. If you've been listening to this show for years, then you know that about me and Motley Crue toured with Ozzy Osbourne and they wrote the book and they did their movie the Dirt and so many stories about Ozzy and just amazing music or like, in my opinion. I love, I love his music. So it's very sad. And he just did his last show, which was actually, you know, it's very sad, but at the same time really beautiful that he got to see everybody celebrate him. Right before he passed, he had been living with Parkinson's, which is really sad. And he's only 76 years old, which is quite young. And I will say this though, he has lived quite a life for somebody who got into the shenanigans that he did at a young age that, you know, with, you know, mly crew talk so much about it and even them.
Ria Ciuffo
Way too, you know, they've really, you.
Olive
Know, have gone through some. So he has lived quite a fulfillful life.
Ria Ciuffo
Absolutely.
Olive
Would say for sure.
Ria Ciuffo
In a statement, his family said is it is with More sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. This morning he was with his family and surrounded by love. So it's like you said, very, very sad. It is. It's crazy that that concert was what, a week, two weeks ago? Like, it was not that really.
Olive
Yeah. We can have really recent.
Ria Ciuffo
Really, really recent. But you got to think that that is some sort of intervention. Like that's some sort of sign that he was able to have that moment and, and kind of close that chapter.
Olive
Absolutely.
Ria Ciuffo
And feel the love and.
Olive
Right.
Ria Ciuffo
And reunite with the, with, with people he hasn't seen a long time and.
Olive
Do all these things and just see everybody celebrate him.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Olive
One last time right before he passes, which is just so sad. So that came, you know, out of nowhere.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Right before we recorded.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
So very.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
Very sad.
Ria Ciuffo
Very, very sad. And you know, with his, with his family and everybody, it's. They were all they've had. Of course, they've had their ups and downs, the Osbournes.
Olive
Oh, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, they've had their ups and downs. But it's nice to hear that they were all able to be with him, you know.
Olive
Quite a ride.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
What a life he lived. Yep. All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We're going to be talking about the filming of Devil Wears Prada too. That is definitely in the works right now. Trisha Paytas named her son. Yeah, Baby number three will reveal the name when we get to that topic. You probably saw it already. JLo addresses whether she uses her skin care or not. And there was quite a few cameos in Happy Gilmore too. You know, Julie Bowen. Tease that with us. But we'll talk about that. And we have the popcorner. So let's get into it.
Ria Ciuffo
Having the right people in your corner for life's biggest milestones makes all the difference. Like that friend who's there when you close on your dream home or helping you pick out the color of your new car. State Farm is there to help you feel supported by helping you choose the coverage you need. With a State Farm agent, you know someone is there to help protect what's important. And with so many coverage options for things like your home, car, boat, motorcycle or even rv, it's nice to have help finding what fits for you so you can continue to focus on what's most important to you. Go online@state farm.com or use the award winning app to get help from one of their local agents. Like a good Neighbor State Farm is there.
Olive
We are now seeing the filming of Devil Wears Prada to be in the works. Anne Hathaway posted a little TikTok wearing, you know, that blue sweater, which is a nod to the first movie. This is all very exciting.
Ria Ciuffo
It is.
Olive
And it's also nerve wracking.
Ria Ciuffo
Would you say yes? Because you have. You just don't want to be let down. You don't, you know. But I also feel like I don't want to see all the photos of all the outfits. Already I'm seeing all the outfits because they're filming in New York City. So she's in the streets and they're. We're getting all these photos of her back as. As Andy Sax. And I'm like, ah, ah. I feel like it's ruining it for me. I don't want to see all the outfits. But then again, I do love seeing the outfits because I'm like, ooh, maybe you can drop some hints, see what's gonna happen, like what's going on. Fashionable as ever. I mean, she just looks fantastic. She really does look great.
Olive
But I'm with you. I've been kind of scrolling by very fast when I see anything about devil wears Prada 2 come up because I don't want to be spoiled. That's the problem when you're filming in a hot spot like New York City. We're gonna see.
Ria Ciuffo
I would love to run into them.
Olive
Oh, my God. I mean, a dream. I like, you know, I'll shut one eye and say hi at the same time. So I don't see the outfits, but I just, I don't want to be spoiled. Because nowadays. And you know, tell me if you disagree. Nowadays. Nowadays you see a trailer for a movie, you feel like you saw the whole thing.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
It's like, don't give me the bread, the meat, the cheese, and then the ending bread at the same time.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Olive
Give me a little bit of the meat and cheese. You know, leave out the. Leave out the bread, which would be the beginning of the end.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, right, right. A little bit of the juice.
Olive
A little bit of juice. A little bit of the mayonnaise, tomato and pickle squeezed together.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Come out a little bit in the trailer.
Ria Ciuffo
But you don't want the full. But you don't want the full bite. But I don't want the top of.
Olive
The bread and the bottom of the bread. I know how the movie begins.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
I stopped watching trailers. Really.
Olive
Thank you.
Fran Mariano
And the best.
Olive
We stand together.
Fran Mariano
The best movie experiences I've probably had in the are when I go into a movie not knowing much because then I like don't know what to expect. Like Sinners. It's like the first frame when I saw two of him, I'm like, there's two.
Olive
I'm so with you. I never watched. I maybe saw bits and pieces of the trailer from Sinners, but I never watched that from beginning to end. I'm out on watching the trailers from beginning to end these days.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
Even I know you did last summer. I want to see that movie. You know, the one with Madeline Cline. The remake or the second one, whatever they're calling it. I want to see the movie. I started watching the trailer. I'm like, ah.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You know, it's like too much.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Four minutes long. You showed me the whole movie.
Ria Ciuffo
I know. We need Cameron Diaz in the holiday back making trailers. You know?
Olive
Exactly. You're so right.
Ria Ciuffo
Where's John Krasinski cutting movie trailers for us.
Fran Mariano
You know what they need to bring back is the voiceover for movie trailers coming to you.
Olive
She was doing yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, is that what Cameron D is the line? That's why they pay me the big.
Olive
Bucks coming to a theater near you. The chills that you'd get as a kid.
Fran Mariano
Like, they trailers should be corny.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Like if you go watch old trailers for, for like Oscar winning movies, they're like really corny. Like, the trailer wouldn't make you think that. It's like a really good movie.
Olive
Why are we watching a short film before that?
Fran Mariano
Because they're literally short films now.
Ria Ciuffo
There's no reason for them to be. You know what, guys?
Olive
It's fucking bullshit.
Ria Ciuffo
They should be 90 seconds max.
Olive
Less. Give me 60 seconds.
Fran Mariano
Honestly, like those teaser ones where it's like 30 seconds.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Olive
I'm good with capping it at 60 seconds.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, my problem more with is like the specific. Sometimes like an action movie. Fine, whatever. Like, there's obviously things that are not in it, it's fine. But in the, in the romance rom com category, it's like they're giving you everything. Like, I feel like I watched. I did not see Materialists, but I do. I did want to see it, but I did watch that trailer and I was like, I feel like I just watched the whole.
Olive
Mm.
Ria Ciuffo
The whole movie. And even with like the fashion. When fashion such a big impact, that's such a huge discussion of the movie and what's happening, what's going on. I mean, let's not forget what happened with it. It ends with us fashion Was its whole crazy moment. I don't really think we're getting that feedback from what she's wearing for devilless Prada. But if you are in the city and maybe you come across a sign for a movie being filmed that's named Cerulean, that's apparently the code name.
Fran Mariano
Oh, really?
Olive
Well, that's a bad code name.
Ria Ciuffo
Wait is because everybody knows that was the Cerulean line. Yes, from.
Olive
Because that's what she's wearing. The blue. This. Yeah, I can't.
Ria Ciuffo
It's Cerulean.
Olive
Cerulean blue sweater in her TikTok.
Fran Mariano
Is Minnie gonna be in this movie?
Ria Ciuffo
No, I don't think so.
Olive
They've done without Adrian.
Ria Ciuffo
This says when movies and TV shows are shooting on the streets of New York, they're required by law to post signs in advance. But sometimes shoots with big name talent try to use tricky techniques to throw up the paparazzi and autograph hounds. Notifications went up this week in Midtown on 5th Ave. Between 36 and 38th street, alerting residents they would be filming in the area on Tuesday, warning them to move their cars by Monday. The project name was listed as Cerulean, the color used in a fame monologue given by Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly. You know, about the culture reach, blah, blah, blah, blah. So then they gave the quote of, you know, it's not. It's not turquoise, it's cerulean.
Fran Mariano
Did I ever tell you about that when I was on a movie set with Daniel Radcliffe and they said to me, like, don't. I was like, where? The people were walking by, like, just making sure people don't. Come on. They're like, don't tell them what is being filmed here. And like, don't tell them who.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
Everyone who walked by, they were like, what's going on? I'm like, harry Potter's over there. I just told them because they're like, oh, my God, that is him.
Ria Ciuffo
Wow. So you just did exactly what you weren't supposed to do. Yeah, I don't know what you want as an employee.
Olive
I don't know what he wanted our reaction to be from that.
Fran Mariano
But it was just a one night show.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, you got him.
Olive
You went against the rules, bro. Good for you.
Ria Ciuffo
He really stuck it to the man.
Olive
Fuck the rules. As an intern.
Ria Ciuffo
Producers be damned. You were just working for one day. There's.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, that was the same movie that I was on with Nicholas Hoult, too.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, yes.
Fran Mariano
And I got not yelled at, but, like, told sternly. To not hit the slate so hard next to Nicholas Hoult's face.
Olive
I do remember this story. Yeah. His pure, beautiful face, as Fran would say.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, seriously, probably too close.
Olive
Not the money maker. The dust from the slate probably got on his face. Hitting it so hard. Noah's like this.
Ria Ciuffo
Harry Potter's right over there. Come on down, take a look at Harry Potter. I'm selling pictures.
Olive
Five bucks Siege Harry Potter.
Fran Mariano
Daniel Radcliffe was very nice, though. I do.
Ria Ciuffo
I've heard that about him.
Fran Mariano
Very nice.
Olive
Until he finds out what you were doing.
Fran Mariano
He introduced, like, as if I didn't know who he was.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, that's always. That's always a very respectful thing. Like, if you're that big of a celebrity, when they're like, hey, I'm Daniel, you're like, yeah, I know, but thank you. It's nice because it's. It's just. It just makes the interaction less one sided because you're always like, you're introducing yourself, hey, I'm Francesca. And then they're just like, hey.
Fran Mariano
I'd argue he's like one of the most recognizable actors, like, in the world. Dana Radcliffe. Right.
Ria Ciuffo
He's up there for sure. I mean, Harry Potter is as big as it gets for you. Like, I can't imagine he can go much places, really.
Olive
I would say. I feel like Daniel Radcliffe probably flies under the radar.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Olive
Because you're never, like, seeing paparazzi photos of Daniel Radcliffe.
Ria Ciuffo
No, but. Well, I think he. Yes. I just. I mean, by him on. I don't know if paparazzi was like, they're dying for the day in a Radcliffe shot, but I think there's a.
Fran Mariano
New Harry Potter in town.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I need.
Olive
I need the Daniel Radcliffe exclusive at Starbucks.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. But I think if he, like, when he was on Broadway, I'm sure that when. If he was walking the streets in New York, he was getting stopped every two seconds. For sure.
Olive
For sure.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Yeah, you're right.
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, more like there are a.
Olive
Ton of people who get stopped all the time that are not being paparazzi.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, I would be like. I mean, I. You know, I would.
Olive
You go up to him?
Ria Ciuffo
That's a good question, Mr. Radcliffe. I think I would.
Fran Mariano
What would you say?
Ria Ciuffo
I think I would. I don't know. It's probably the same shit he hears from. Everybody's probably so sick of it.
Olive
It's almost like you just want to be different, but you can't.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You can't be.
Ria Ciuffo
Honestly, I'd pick up some. Yeah, I was gonna say I was Gonna say I'd pick some other random movie he's done and be like, I really loved you.
Olive
I really loved you in that. That thing that that intern Noah Ives worked on.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
If you look me up on IMDb, I played out on the same movie.
Ria Ciuffo
He played, like, the Game Changers. He played the villain in that Sandra Bullock Channing Tatum movie. Remember? What was that movie called? That was me. I'd be like, no, so great.
Fran Mariano
He isn't. That movie that I really liked, like a rom com. What's it called?
Ria Ciuffo
But, you know, the one I'm thinking of. They're on an island.
Fran Mariano
The Lost City.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. What if? That's a great movie. What if?
Ria Ciuffo
What if? No, but I do think, like, he must be so used to Harry Potter. Means so much to me. It's, you know, for the whole. The whole thing, which I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing, but I, you know, maybe throw. You know, what's so funny is, like, one of the other things that just stands out to me, which I wonder if he even wants it to be brought up or not, but remember when everybody freaked out that he did that play Equus? And, like, I was in, like, eighth grade. It was a whole.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Crazy shebang. Maybe I'd bring up that. Although he thought that would be inappropriate, maybe.
Olive
Why?
Ria Ciuffo
He goes, I think he did full frontal in that play. That's why it was so controversial.
Olive
Oh, right. To go from Harry Potter to be.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. And then I was like, whoa. And then they're like, is it prosthetic? Is it not? You know, the whole thing.
Olive
Right. It's like when Miley Cyrus.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Whoa.
Olive
Yeah. Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. But were you, like, what were we talking about? Oh, movie sets.
Olive
Yeah. Were you, when he did that, happy or disappointed?
Ria Ciuffo
No, no. I didn't know much. It was just like, whoa. And that was peak. Like, when I actually had a crush on him, you know?
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Go for it, Daniel.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, open it up.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I definitely was too afraid to, like, investigate, really, you know. Yeah. I was eighth grade. I remember. I think it was like 2007, 2008, somewhere around there where I was like, oh. Oh, no.
Olive
But I did close out of things.
Ria Ciuffo
Really fast when the fourth movie came out. Earth. Between, like, the third and fourth movie was when he really hit his stride. I felt, in me and my friends, like, having such a big crush on him. He had the longer hair. We, you know, huge crush on him. We wrote him fan mail, and we did get a signed picture back.
Olive
Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
Which I kept for a very long time. And I don't know if I have it anymore. I have my. My mom. I don't know. We, like, went through my room and we saw the house, and just, like, so much shit got thrown away and. And it's just. Just like my mom had a moment where she was like, if you're not home to do this, I'm just dumping everything in your drawers. And a lot of things were not kept.
Olive
I had the same experience, and I'm really upset about it because I feel like I lost so many childhood memories. No. 100% within, like, magazines and things.
Ria Ciuffo
And I think I kept some, like, journals and stuff. But even there's so many things that I threw away myself that I'm like, I wish I kept that.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, like, so many funny things. Like, I loved writing stories, but I. But I would never finish them. So I have, like, in a notebook, I would have, like, 30. The, like, the first three chapters of 30 different stories. And I just never finish any of the ideas. But it would be very funny to see the ideas. It was always like a group of friends walking into the woods.
Olive
I know. I know. You know, me and you. I also wrote a lot of stories. Maybe that's why we ended up here. But we didn't know that we'd be doing this show and would want all these memories so badly.
Ria Ciuffo
No. Yeah, for sure.
Olive
Like, we didn't know that we'd want to, like, look back on.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I know. Yeah. And then, like, you get to the end of high school and you go through it all, and you're like, this is so embarrassing. And then you throw it all out, Right?
Olive
And then you're like, now you're this age, you're like, I wish I kept all that.
Ria Ciuffo
I do think I kept some. Some diaries and. And journals and such. I hope. But then it's also like, I'm like, I don't even know where those things are. Like, my mom was like, I have a box. I'm like, where is that box? I don't know. So it's got to be. It's got to be around somewhere. But. Well, we're. We were talking about Devil.
Olive
That's okay, though. We can move on from that because.
Ria Ciuffo
I would like to have a conversation with Anne Hathaway about what exactly she is that she's doing. She looks better than ever.
Olive
Yeah, she looks amazing.
Ria Ciuffo

Olive
Trisha Paytas, just a quick announcement, named her son Aquaman.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
So she has Malibu Barbie, Elvis, and now Aquaman.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Olive
And it's just the timing of Ozzy Osbourne passing away and Trisha Paytas.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
Giving birth to her son. I know.
Ria Ciuffo
But it's a reverse order, though. Normally isn't like the person dies and.
Olive
Then she has her baby. It's like, now this would mean Ozzy Osbourne just taking over the baby.
Ria Ciuffo
Right, Right.
Olive
Right. So that wouldn't.
Ria Ciuffo
The death happened before.
Olive
Right, right.
Ria Ciuffo
I mean, death happened after.
Olive
Ozzy Osbourne would have had to have died before Trisha Paytas gave birth. And that was not the case.
Ria Ciuffo
However, Elvis. What was. Is it Elvis? That's. That's Queen Elizabeth or Malibu Barbie.
Olive
I'm pretty sure it's.
Ria Ciuffo
I think it's Elvis.
Olive
Which, by the way, Elvis has the most normal name out of all of them.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Well, you know, maybe Malibu Barbie doesn't go by full first second.
Olive
If. If they. If Malibu Barbie just goes by Barbie.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. I was gonna say Malibu.
Olive
Oh, I'm gonna go Barbie. Like Barbara Barbie.
Ria Ciuffo
No, Barbie for sure would be normal, too.
Olive
More normal than Malibu.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I guess.
Olive
Yeah. But Elvis.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Is Aquaman is not.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm sure they all have nicknames.
Olive
Aqua.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Elvie.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
And Barb.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Yeah, that's. That makes it a lot.
Ria Ciuffo
They must all have nicknames.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, they must. Yeah, they must.
Olive
Aquaman. Buddy goes by Charlie.
Ria Ciuffo
I come across Trisha Paytas clips on online all the time, and I just. She really. She cracks. She cracks me up. Because sometimes I'm like, what is. What is she saying? Sometimes I'm like, wow. Trisha is so true. And sometimes I'm like, wow, I could not disagree more.
Olive
Yeah. You know, and I. That. I think that's where it mostly lies with Trisha Paytas.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Like, it's either 100% on your side or 100%.
Ria Ciuffo
I go back and forth from the extremes of, like, which way it is. And she's doing that full tour again, I see in those videos. Singing on stage.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Living out her dream.
Olive
She got her big sushi boat after giving birth, which is classic.
Ria Ciuffo
Aquaman is fun. And I think she had. What I saw was that she had somewhat of a traumatic birth with Aquaman.
Olive
That's sad.
Ria Ciuffo
So I don't know if maybe the name is connected in. In any way. I don't know.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
But Aquaman. It's just crazy.
Fran Mariano
I mean, you can hear you referring to Aquaman.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Well, yeah. It's like I'm giving birth to a superhero. That's what it feels like.
Olive
Hey, maybe.
Ria Ciuffo
Which I like. If you really think about the sentiment of naming your kid after a superhero, it's. It's sweet.
Fran Mariano
Imagine it's, like, in class, like, I'm.
Ria Ciuffo
Instilling all this power to him.
Olive
Yes.
Fran Mariano
Chris. Like, attendance. Chris Jacob. Noah.
Olive
Aquaman.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You'll always stand out. Everyone. Nobody will forget your name, ever.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep. Yep.
Olive
Tell me your name again. You know that's never gonna happen.
Fran Mariano
I feel like people wouldn't believe you. Like, when you introduce yourself, My name's Aquaman. Like, if they don't know you, they'd.
Olive
Be like, they would have to know you're Trisha Paytas.
Ria Ciuffo
Which is why he definitely has a nickname.
Fran Mariano
Wait, what were the other two? So it's really like Elvis is the most normal.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Olive
Where were you five minutes ago when you said.
Ria Ciuffo
Quite literally 30 seconds ago, I literally.
Olive
Said exactly those words.
Fran Mariano
That hasn't happened in a while.
Ria Ciuffo
That's a good. That was a good tune out. You know, sometimes he just tunes that for a second, then he jumps back in.
Fran Mariano
I. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
With a new original. Thought.
Fran Mariano
I was working. I was working, to be fair.
Olive
I know.
Ria Ciuffo
I know.
Olive
I'm not my swag. Stealing my flow.
Fran Mariano
Well, that's just.
Olive
We're on bar from bar, bro.
Fran Mariano
We're just so in sync that we have the same thoughts exactly.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, you're right. Take it as a compliment, you know?
Olive
Yeah. I feel so complimented that Noah tunes me out.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
That's what that is. When I talk, he tunes me out.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah. Complete tune out.
Olive
Yeah. All right.
Ria Ciuffo
Yep.
Olive
I mean, very much you care about Me during my birth week.
Ria Ciuffo
Realistically, we knew baby number three was. It's not like we knew who this baby was going to be named Kevin. Like.
Olive
But that would be so epic if it was.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
I was thinking about this while I was floating my pool this weekend, actually. It was so random that it popped in my head. I was like, it really is crazy that Haley and Justin just named their kid Jack.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You know, like celebrities, they're always naming their kids something out of the box, but they just went with Jack.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Refreshing.
Olive
It was. It really was refreshing. And if Trisha would have just popped out with Kev. Yeah, Kevin.
Ria Ciuffo
Right.
Olive
That would have been something.
Ria Ciuffo
It would have raised eyebrows, too. Honestly, Aquaman probably gets a lesser reaction, for sure.
Olive
Actually, Gia told me when we were sitting at her desk, she was like, trisha Bay doesn't even get Aquaman. I was like, what?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Like, it wasn't. I wasn't like, no, what?
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Olive
It just was like, Yep, that makes sense.
Ria Ciuffo
Exactly.
Olive
Moving along. JLo, Jennifer Lopez was asked if she actually uses her JLO skincare. Now, when Justin Sylvester was on the show recently, he did mention that he found fully believes that JLO uses her skincare because he said he smelt it on her.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
When they were together. And she was asked, and she was like, I'm in my bathroom right now. I do use this every single day. Because somebody. Somebody asked, are you just using this when it's on camera? She said she does use it every day. Do you believe her or do you not believe her?
Ria Ciuffo
That is the question. I, you know, I lean more towards. She uses it mixed with other things, you know, because she'll put a little.
Olive
Dot of her own.
Ria Ciuffo
Someone. Yeah. And maybe it's just from my own experience, like, everybody's skincare routine is different. Everybody uses different things. Some people love using products. Some people want to use one thing, and that's it, you know, so everybody has their choices, and that's their own. They can pick. That's my prerogative. They can. They can really pick whatever they want. And I. I just envision JLO as someone who has a vanity that is just filled with products to the brim, where some nights she's going full La Mer face, and some nights she's going with, you know, a little dab of JLO beauty here, J. Lo beauty there. By the way, her serums are not cheap. Like, they're like. One of the serums is like, over $100.
Olive
Wow.
Ria Ciuffo
So it's not like she probably is using it.
Olive
Yeah. Right. It's not like cheap skincare that, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
She's not picking up a $10 serum. And then you're like, J. Lo's not using that.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like she's saying. She's saying, like, they did the research on these products. That's why they're so expensive. And they're. They're supposed to have these good things in them, and therefore they're good enough for JLo. It is an easier sell to me to think when I see the price point to be like, oh, those are expensive. But that does make me think she uses it more.
Olive
Yeah, that's a good point.
Ria Ciuffo
You know, but I feel like it's just like maybe a little bit of both. You combine it. Use a serum with a different moisturizer. Use a moisturizer with a different, you know.
Olive
Yeah. I don't use in her whole line every day.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. I don't think that's the only thing in her bathroom.
Olive
No, for sure not. That's. That's not realistic. And that's why I believe maybe in her guest bathrooms. Yeah. That's why I believe Haley Bieber so hearted wholeheartedly when it comes to skincare. Because whenever she does her skincare routines, she does throw in the other stuff she's using. It's not like she's only promoting Rhode. Like, she's like, I use this and then I use the road glazing milk. Like, it's not just road. So I'm like, you know what? I buy into that. And we need more of that. We need it to be like, yeah, we know that you use other products.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Olive
And it's okay. And that's okay. And everybody in the world does that. Nobody's using the exact line, you know?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
I mean, maybe they are, but it's not likely. A lot of people like different products from different brands. So.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Moving along, last topic, just a quick little happy Gilmore 2 red carpet roundup. They're excited to watch there. I'm very excited to watch Friday. Yes, Friday it'll be out. We had a great interview with Julie Bowen. Hopefully, if you're listening to this, that you listen to our interview with Julie. It was fantastic. She's so funny. And there. And she did mention how there were cameos in the movie that haven't gotten spoiled, but now we are seeing them because we saw the red carpet last night.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. People go show up to.
Olive
Bunny is in Happy Gilmore. Alex Earl maybe has a really quick cameo. Apparently, Adam Sandler's daughters were the Reasoning for that. They wanted her to be included. You know, we already knew about Travis Kelce being involved in it.
Ria Ciuffo
A lot of golfers.
Olive
A lot of golfers. Cameos. I'm excited to watch just a feel good movie.
Ria Ciuffo
I think I need a re. Like a rewatch of the original. I feel like I haven't seen it in a really long time.
Olive
But it must have been the telly this weekend.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, I'm sure it's all. I'm sure non stop. Really?
Olive
Really. You know, you haven't seen a lot of the classics.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, you know what I will say, what's the one? Joe was watching it the other day and I was like, I don't think I've seen this. And he was like, what?
Olive
No, with Adam Sandler.
Ria Ciuffo
Mr. Deeds.
Fran Mariano
I've never seen that one.
Olive
You've never seen Mr.
Ria Ciuffo
Deeds? No, I had never seen it. And I sat down and watched like, watched the whole thing with him because I was like, damn, I don't think I've seen this one.
Olive
Yeah, but you've obviously, obviously seen Big Daddy, right?
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, Big Daddy. A million times. That's classic. Yeah, that's a classic. Big Daddy. A million times breakfast.
Fran Mariano
You don't mess with the Zohan. It's like so funny.
Ria Ciuffo
That one I've seen once. I don't think I went back and rewatched it after that blended. I've seen 9 million times.
Fran Mariano
Just go with it.
Ria Ciuffo
Just go with it. I've seen 9 million times.
Fran Mariano
Have you seen Click Wedding?
Ria Ciuffo
Click? Yes, Click. I have not revisited as an adult because. Because it made me sob the first time I watched it. Like a really, really, like a full blown heavy cry. Yeah, it's sad that I don't think I've seen it since it came out. Like, I think it affected me that much that I have not put it on ever since the that time watching it.
Olive
Me too. I remember where I was when I saw it for the first time. You're at my brother's friends from baseball's house and I never saw it again.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, no, it's exactly like. It's just one of those ones. You're like, I saw it, but I remember how it made me feel like I couldn't even really tell you the full plot of Click right now. But I can tell you that I saw my eyes out. You know?
Olive
You know what's a movie I never saw for that reason?
Ria Ciuffo
Marley and Me.
Olive
Yes. I've never. I've never watched Marley.
Ria Ciuffo
I've never seen it. Never will.
Olive
Why would I Watch. Why would I watch the movie?
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no. Just the premise of it now, it made me cry. It's been like I got all of a sudden in my lap. Okay, we gotta move on to something else.
Olive
Well, not to bring this up, but that's like. You know Old Yeller.
Ria Ciuffo
No.
Olive
And you don't know Old Yeller. We have to watch it. And I think read the book in school. But there's an episode. There's an episode of Friends. Yeah, we had to watch. I remember like the. We had an assignment over the summer and one of it was Old Yeller. But there's an episode of Friends where they're watching Old Yeller and Phoebe walks in. She's like, I love this movie.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, whatever. She's never seen, like.
Olive
Yeah, her mom always shut it off before the ending. And then they were like, no. Why.
Ria Ciuffo
Why is she.
Olive
Why are they doing that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
No, Marley and Me is not one. I will.
Olive
Sorry. Olive, cover your ears. We're moving on.
Ria Ciuffo
Seriously.
Olive
Happy Gilmore too though, this Friday. Super excited. I'm. I'm excited for just like a feel good movie.
Ria Ciuffo
I was gonna say it must be fun for his family. Him and his family. Now that any new movie he makes, it's just like, like, hey, girls, who you guys a fan of these days? Let's slap him in the movie. It's just a free for all, you know who. You guys think it would be fun for a cameo? Great, we'll come up. Because really, who's saying no to a cameo and Adam Sandler movie?
Olive
No. Nobody. We really need his daughters to become a fan of us.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, that would be a dream. That would be a dream.
Olive
Really need his daughters to get in on chicks in the office asap.
Ria Ciuffo
That would be a dream. Imagine. Yeah, whatever. Whatever one he makes next.
Olive
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Was Travis Kelsey. He wasn't. He wasn't at the premiere, Travis.
Ria Ciuffo
He was not. But I think camp just started.
Fran Mariano
Like, I would. That'd be so funny if Taylor was like going to like, Taylor Swift is at the real camp for an Adam Sandler movie.
Olive
So fun.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah.
Olive
She's wearing bags. That's why first I saw like a Hawaiian shirt.
Ria Ciuffo
That would be so funny if for a movie premiere, every entire cast decided that they just dress like Adam Sandler. I don't know why they did not tell him.
Olive
I don't know why they didn't do that last night.
Ria Ciuffo
That would.
Olive
That was my thought last night. I'm like, why is nobody in baggy? Yeah, I'm chock full.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, next movie. And it would have been funny because it's such a big premiere. There's so many people there that if everyone just showed up, they just send.
Olive
Out a memo and they don't tell him. And everyone just shows up in baggy.
Fran Mariano
Like, he's the only one wearing a suit and everyone.
Olive
He wouldn't dare.
Ria Ciuffo
No, that. That would wear like a suit to the Oz.
Fran Mariano
Well, the Oscars. He did his whole thing. But he's worn suits before. He does sometimes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fran Mariano
Not for his own movie.
Ria Ciuffo
No, his own movie premieres.
Olive
Imagine getting to the level, though, of he's like, premiere day, to him isn't like, oh, my God, it's premiere day. Like, he's just literally just going about his day and he's just gonna show up to the premiere.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
He's like, I got this premiere.
Ria Ciuffo
There's no prep.
Olive
There's zero.
Ria Ciuffo
Literally. I gotta go for this facial, this massage, the hair. The hair appointment.
Olive
He's waking up, showering, and wearing exactly what he's wearing in the morning to the premiere that night.
Fran Mariano
It still is crazy. He just plays basketball in New York against strangers all the time.
Olive
Yeah. He's been hanging out in Jersey a little bit. They're filming a movie.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Olive
Yeah. I haven't run into him.
Ria Ciuffo
You guys are hanging out, going on your nightly walks together.
Olive
I don't know. I just have this demeanor today because I had an espresso before I started, which is just always the case when I just get this, you know, I.
Ria Ciuffo
Should have had an express. I feel like my eyes are closing on me. I think it's the lights today. I'm feeling extra. This is.
Olive
Look how cute.
Ria Ciuffo
They're feeling extra bright.
Olive
It just like it pumps through my veins right before a podcast taping.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
And all of a sudden I get like this little, like, personality come out.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Oh, I move my shoulders differently.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
It's like, you know.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Hanging out with Adam. Sailing jersey. Yeah. Anyways, that wraps up the topics. They don't make it easy to buy concert tickets these days. You gotta sign up for the pre sale, get in the queue, and by the time you get through, the best seats are gone. Going to a concert should be about the show itself, not waiting in a virtual line. Lucky for us, we always use GameTime, the official ticketing partner of Barstool Sports. GameTime makes getting tickets faster and easier. Prices on the app actually go down closer. It gets to showtime. Plus the game time picks feature makes it even easier to find the great deals on the seats. You want. I'm really looking to get to a Yankee game soon. I'm going to use game time for that. There's so many concerts going on. Maybe you want to hit Coldplay this weekend. Last minute if you're Miami. You know, there's so many options. Just pull up your chosen event and turn on the GT pick setting at the top of the screen. Take the guesswork out of buying tickets with game time. Download GameTime app, create an account, use code Chicks for $20 off your first purchase. Terms do apply. Again, create an account, Redeem code chicks were $20 off. Download the Gametime app today. What time is it? It is game time. All right, let's get into the popcorner where we're taking your voicemails, your hot takes, your opinions. Let's get into it. Noah, play that first voicemail. Noah, play that track. Hi, Rhian, Fran, this is Anna from Minnesota. I am just calling to say one, I love your show and two, I was obsessed with your Chicks and Hogwarts segment and when you get did the rewatch of Twilight. So I'm wondering what movie franchise, if you had to choose, would you guys do a rewatch on and want to do a deep dive on?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Thank you guys so much. I love listening to your show and even now my kids start dancing along to the theme song. Have a great day.
Ria Ciuffo
Bye. Our new song. Love it. I would love to do Hunger Games.
Olive
Yes. I'm gonna throw something wild out there. I've never seen any of these movies.
Fran Mariano
The Hunger Games?
Olive
No. Take a guess. I've never seen any of them and I don't even think I'm interested. But it would be interesting to talk about Marvel, maybe Lord of the Rings. Nope. Lord of the Rings would be second.
Ria Ciuffo
Oh, okay.
Fran Mariano
It's like a.
Ria Ciuffo
Is it like it's a franchise?
Olive
Oh, yeah. Big Star Wars. Yeah. Star Wars. Never got into it. Seen bits and pieces. Was a big Spaceballs fan. Love the movie Spaceballs. What's so funny?
Ria Ciuffo
It's just.
Olive
I know. They have nothing to do with each other.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no. I know. It's just so funny. It's like, it's like, like, oh, I haven't seen and like I never watched any of the like. Like I. But I love scary movies. Like, you know, it's like you don't want.
Olive
Yeah. I never seen the Ring, but I've seen Scary movie. Yeah, that's true.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Yeah.
Olive
That is a fact.
Ria Ciuffo
Spaceball says this is a hysterical one. Ludicrous speed. Yeah.
Olive
So good.
Ria Ciuffo
Big Mariano. Yeah. Household Movie as well.
Olive
It's such a space, such a classic.
Ria Ciuffo
Star wars would be a really fun one to watch with you guys. Have you seen them, Noah?
Fran Mariano
I've seen some, but definitely not all of them.
Olive
My problem with Star wars is.
Ria Ciuffo
Why.
Olive
Are we not watching them in the order they came out? Why is there a specific order that people want you to watch them in that are not the order that they came out?
Ria Ciuffo
It's a complete personal preference. What I think. No, I think in the way you can either watch them, you can watch them in the way they were released or you can watch them in the chronological story or of the story. Yes.
Fran Mariano
Because they put out movies and then they made like prequels to those movies.
Olive
Yeah, I understand that. And I remember a couple years ago I was thinking about doing this watch. I was very bored, had a lot of time on my hands. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
How many are there?
Olive
And I asked Robbie, I'm telling a story.
Ria Ciuffo
She's talking.
Olive
You know what? In Noah's world today, I might as well just shut up.
Fran Mariano
All right, I'll Google it.
Olive
Anyways, I asked Robbie Fox in what order I should watch them because Robbie Fox, the biggest show, he's a lightsaber on his arm and he gave me.
Ria Ciuffo
He always says release order.
Olive
Does he?
Ria Ciuffo
That's what I always thought it was. His advice to people was do release order.
Olive
I always, I thought that he like spelled it out for me in the, in the order that I should be watching. I got all confused. I was like, I don'.
Noah Ives
Know.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Cuz I, I, maybe I'm wrong. I feel like you should watch with Robbie Fox. But I feel like Robbie, I've seen, I've always seen people ask him like if I were where to start. You FaceTime him?
Olive
Yeah, he's in the office.
Fran Mariano
Star wars mov.
Olive
That.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like you start with the, the Harrison Ford era and then you go prequel. And then the new ones.
Fran Mariano
New are the new ones. Be like, where do those fall in the order later?
Ria Ciuffo
They're after everything else.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. It would be weird to bounce back and forth between like movies that have such.
Ria Ciuffo
No, like the Natalie Portman. Those are all pr. Those are all prequel. That's all before. So like that's once that was touched. That's like that's. And then they moved past. He didn't answer.
Olive
Oh, he said release order.
Ria Ciuffo
You're right. Yeah, I know. Yeah.
Olive
So I must have got that answer from him and then must have been googling. What?
Ria Ciuffo
Right, right.
Olive
What should I watch this in and probably confused the hell out of myself and then just decided, I'm not watching any of them.
Ria Ciuffo
4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9.
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Olive
Yep.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, that's what I would.
Olive
So there's.
Ria Ciuffo
How. I would advise nine as well.
Fran Mariano
Yeah, nine. But then when I said nine.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, but then there's. There's the side move. Then you broke Rogue One and the other. Yeah, yeah. But if you were just to stick to that. Those. Those nine.
Fran Mariano
I love.
Ria Ciuffo
4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9.
Fran Mariano
The. What was the movie where. I'm not gonna spoil it for you. Never mind. I was gonna say something that would.
Ria Ciuffo
Be a spoiler for Star Wars.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. Have you ever seen the movie where it's Anakin versus Obi. Obi Wan? No, so I won't spoil it.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah. She hasn't seen any of them.
Fran Mariano
No, I know, but sometimes, like, how do you not see, like. Yeah, there's famous scenes, but it.
Olive
I've seen, like, famous scenes.
Fran Mariano
Do you know who Darth Vader is?
Olive
Do I know who he is?
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
Well, she might not.
Fran Mariano
Well, that's what I'm just saying.
Olive
Don't ruin father.
Ria Ciuffo
Don't ruin Star Wars.
Olive
Isn't Darth Vader Luke's father?
Fran Mariano
Yes.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes.
Fran Mariano
I won't even. What?
Olive
But.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, but the. Yes, but there's. I mean, but maybe we. Maybe you will watch Star wars.
Olive
And doesn't he. Doesn't he never actually say, luke, I am your father?
Fran Mariano
No, he does.
Ria Ciuffo
No, he does.
Fran Mariano
That's like. That's like the.
Olive
No, I know that's the line, but I thought that. He doesn't even actually say, luke, I am your father. It's a Mandela effect.
Fran Mariano
No, he definitely does. I see it in my head right now.
Olive
The line is often misremembered as, luke, I am your father. He says, no, I am your father. He doesn't say, lou. Yes. Look, I. I know more than you guys. I never even seen it. Yeah, he says, yeah. The actual quote is, no, I am your father. But people usually say, luke, I am your father.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Olive
They improvise that one.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
You know, as a whole, as an audience.
Ria Ciuffo
Just like. Sounds better that way.
Olive
It does. 1,000%. No, I am your father.
Ria Ciuffo
It's like.
Olive
Okay, okay, I get it.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no, no. Yeah, you got that could be.
Fran Mariano
Wait, no, that's not the chills. That's a different scene. Because when he says that he's wearing.
Olive
He never said. Here's the thing. Look it up. He never says, luke, I'm your father. He only Says, I'll ask Robbie again. And can you confirm?
Ria Ciuffo
I'll let you guys just debate this.
Olive
Out because, you know, he never actually.
Fran Mariano
Says, oh, you know what? You might be right.
Olive
Robbie. I said, and can you confirm he never actually says, luke, I am your father? He says, no, I am your father? He said, of course.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Classic Mandela.
Fran Mariano
That's crazy.
Olive
Yeah, you learn something new every day. Hey, see what happens when you listen to me?
Ria Ciuffo
I would love to do that. I would love to do that watch, though, if you.
Olive
Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
If you want to do it. I would love to do it.
Olive
It's gonna be a time commitment. We gotta have. We gotta take it slow.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We could do. Well, you could do them in threes, which is why it's nice. You can, like, you can do four, five, six in a chunk, and then you can do one, two, three, and, you know, you can separate. Sound like we have to watch all nine rapidly.
Olive
Let's try to do that in the winter. I know that's a long time from now, but the winter is a nice low period inside.
Fran Mariano
You watch a movie, kind of like toward the holidays.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. Joe's really trying to get me to re. Watch Lord of the Rings too, because I. I've seen them, but not, like, at all really in depth.
Fran Mariano
That's a series I've never been.
Olive
The famous Lord of the Rings line.
Ria Ciuffo
My precious.
Olive
Yes, yes, My precious.
Ria Ciuffo
Yes, yes.
Olive
Is that Mandela effect, too?
Ria Ciuffo
I think he does say it's golem with the ring.
Olive
Yes. I think I actually would love probably Lord of the Rings more than Star Wars.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, yeah, it's. It's. That's debatable.
Olive
Or at least that's what my sister would tell me because she loves both so much. Like, she is like a obsessed with both of those.
Ria Ciuffo
Lord of the Rings is like more fantasy. Star wars is like more.
Olive
Star wars is more like.
Ria Ciuffo
More like sci fi.
Fran Mariano
Like Star Trek and Star wars obviously have more common.
Olive
Yeah, don't even get me into Star Trek. I'm not gonna venture into Star Trek.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no, no, no, no. If. If we were to jump into that world at all, I think it would be fun to do Star wars or Lord of the Rings.
Olive
My precious. Okay.
Ria Ciuffo
I think our dreams would be fun to do too, as a rewatch.
Olive
I smell like beef. Okay. That's like a famous video. I don't actually smell like beef.
Ria Ciuffo
Thank you for clarifying. Moving on, because you definitely just made everyone think. You bet that for real.
Olive
I know. I know. I did, right? Probably. No, I smell like delicious Cream. Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father. He told me enough. He told me you killed him. No. I am your father. Chills.
Ria Ciuffo
Direct quote from Robbie's just sending. Robbie's just sending. Full transcripts.
Olive
All right, moving on.
Ria Ciuffo

Olive
Hi.
Ria Ciuffo
Rhea, Fran, Noah and Olive. Of course. My question for you guys is if.
Olive
You could rank your streaming platforms like.
Ria Ciuffo
From best to worst, like, what would they be? It doesn't have to be all the ones that are out there, but it could just be the ones that you use most often based on sort of like the stuff that they have on it, how often you use it. Is it glitchy? Does it work like that?
Olive
Or well. Or whatever.
Ria Ciuffo
But I just thought it would be.
Olive
Interesting to see like what you would prefer.
Ria Ciuffo
Like, do you prefer Peacock over HBO Max?
Olive
Or would you say Hulu's better than.
Ria Ciuffo
All of them or, you know, I just want to know. Okay, thanks so much.
Olive
Bye.
Ria Ciuffo
Good question. Good question. Because I've actually had a lot of thoughts about this recently because I really, really dislike the new interface for Netflix on your tv.
Fran Mariano
What's the new interface like?
Ria Ciuffo
It's all there. Everything's really big. Like, you know, it's a.
Fran Mariano
New things. Like when you.
Ria Ciuffo
No, no. It. Like all. It's. It's all. It looks different. Does it not look different?
Fran Mariano
Maybe mine isn't updated or something.
Ria Ciuffo
Do you know what I'm talking about?
Olive
I don't, but I would love to be able to relate it.
Fran Mariano
Like, I still have like the rose.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah. But mine doesn't. It's. It's a new like it. It doesn't give the detailed descriptions on.
Olive
I can give my ranking.
Ria Ciuffo
Go ahead.
Olive
Number one, hbo. Number two, Peacock.
Fran Mariano
And then based on like how much you watch or like the interface like. Or it's all together.
Olive
It's all together. Like I'm not too particular and picky with my interface of like I'm, you know, just how often I use these. I'm going 1 HBO to Peacock and then it's really a battle between 3 and 4. 3A and 3B would be Hulu and Netflix. Like I sometimes really. Yeah, I know.
Fran Mariano
Prime on there, huh?
Olive
Prime would be the last. But I do, I really love all the streaming services. I have nothing bad to say about them. And prime, although would be ranked last. Oh my God. Then we're talking about Apple. Oh God. You got me off Apple tv.
Fran Mariano
I forget like, why do I always forget about.
Olive
And it's your most.
Ria Ciuffo
You watch every Apple TV show.
Olive
Like the spokesperson for Apple TV. Yeah, shit. Because I would throw Apple TV in there as well. I would maybe put Apple 3 Apple TV at 3. And then I would go Netflix and Hulu 4A, 4B combined. Because I really can't choose between the two. I bounce back and forth all the time. Hulu's been lacking as of late. You know, they used to really have a head up for me personally, lately they've been lacking. And then last I'd go Prime video because I do love it. But I would probably put it below the others. But once again, I love all of them. So I don't really have any qualms.
Ria Ciuffo
Right. Because it's also like there's a lot of variables here of like what you factor into it as it's. Is it. Is it watchability? Is it the interface? Is it how much you are using it? Is it the shows that are on it? You know, so Netflix did roll out a new new upgraded TV experience at the beginning of May.
Fran Mariano
Maybe that's when they like up their pricing too.
Ria Ciuffo
I. And I really, I really do not like it. It has like the.
Olive
Oh.
Ria Ciuffo
Like it's just. I don't.
Olive
I actually do have that.
Ria Ciuffo
I just do nothing yet over. It's really big. And then it's not all the little rows anymore. It's just really big. So like it's the whole row takes up the whole screen.
Fran Mariano
Oh, okay. Yeah.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm not a big fan of it and honestly it knocks it down some for me because every time I open Netflix now I get like. I'm like, I can't find Anything. I feel like an old person. Like, I can't find my show.
Olive
Can you give us your ranking?
Ria Ciuffo
Yes. I probably go one right now. I probably go Peacock, HBO Max.
Fran Mariano
How often are you guys watching HBO Max?
Ria Ciuffo
HBO Max Max is on often in my household.
Olive
HBO Max is probably sweating from how much it's being used. Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Is it mostly re watching?
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
Entourage, Friends, Sopranos, Sex in the City. Like, yeah. The way that I'm squeezing out the most I possibly can.
Ria Ciuffo
I also like the look of HBO Max.
Olive
Yeah. Very clean.
Ria Ciuffo
I'm like, you know, I'm factoring that into my ratings here because I think Hulu actually needs an upgrade. Like, I think Hulu, they have not. Haven't really changed theirs in a while. And then I think maybe go. I think I would go Prime Video, not necessarily because of shows, but because of movies. And, like, you can access basically every movie, you know, whether you rent it or whatever. You can, like, like, access any movie. And then.
Fran Mariano
No, Paramount.
Ria Ciuffo
I go.
Olive
Paramount is the worst app.
Ria Ciuffo
I think I'd go Apple T. No, I would go. I'd go Netflix, Hulu, Apple tv, Paramount. Paramount's a terrible app.
Olive
It's a bad app. They got up that app. It's bad. They need to do something different with that.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah, Yeah. I think that's probably where I'm at right now. Just because I probably clocked the most hours on Peacock. I know half that's because of Love island right now, but Bravo shows everything. Like, I'm on. I'm just. I'm on Peacock a lot. I think Peacock's super, super easy to use.
Olive
Peacock and HBO Max are getting put on in my house every day.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
In some capacity. No, I'm sorry. HBO Max might tell me then they. They need a break.
Ria Ciuffo
Yeah.
Olive
From how much they're being played.
Fran Mariano
Yeah. HBO just feels very nostalgic for me. Like. Like, I'm not going to HBO for new thing. I mean, if they have, like, a Sunday series type thing.
Olive
But.
Fran Mariano
But right now, it's like, if I go on to there, I'm rewatching for sure.
Ria Ciuffo
Netflix will be higher for me if they didn't change their interface that I really don't like.
Olive
Yeah.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Olive
All right, that wraps up the popcorner for today. All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so very much. Thanks for watching the best show on earth. We will talk to you on Friday.
Fran Mariano
Yeah.
Noah Ives
Chicks in the Office. Longtime listener, first time caller. Look at the charts who doesn't? The best? Two chicks getting paid in reality checks? You can find them at the gym? It's not even a flex? Last minute red carpet flew them out on the jet? Yeah, they're who you want to be? They're always on your screen? Two queens and they might be spilling royalty? A lot of topics that are popping here to get into? I know a show that you probably want to listen to? Who turn the heat up? Turn the beat up? Record the pod made a bag, put their feet up? The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up? Who's the pod that they all want to meet up? Who turned the heat up? Turn the beat up? Record the pod made a bag, put their feet up? The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up? Who's the pod that they all want to meet up?
Ria Ciuffo
Sam.
