How was everyone's weekend? How was Martha?

Great. Oh, Martha was fantastic. Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha. I did meet Martha Stewart on Friday afternoon, and she was just, as you would expect, just telling some stories. They did, like, a little Q and A with the CMO of rare beauty and asked Martha some questions. And Martha just, like, she's just amazing. Like, even at the beginning, the restaurant they had the event at, it was so cute. It was like in this back courtyard garden. The decor was really, really cute. The new products were, like, laid out everywhere. And, like, the first thing, they were, like, joking around, and it was just like, oh, Martha, we feel like we've been transported back here. It's like we're not even in New York. Like, they were laughing about it. That she's like, yeah, like, Martha approved on the. On the. On the decor. And Martha just said nothing. She just looked her. She went. And then she goes, okay.

Oh, my God. Dang, she's feisty.

Well, she could just say whatever the fuck she wants, you know, at this point. At this point, she really can. And she was cracking us up because she was like, yeah, you know, I'm taking my grandkids to Jingle Ball tonight. Is anybody going to Jingle Ball? But it's just like, the way she was saying Jingle Ball was very funny, but she had some great words of wisdom. She'd said, learn something new every day. Whatever it is. Read an article about something you don't know about. Try and learn something new every day. And then the other one I'm gonna butcher. But it was something along the lines of, when you're not done changing, you're through or something kind of like that when you're. You're always. You're not done with changing. You're through it. Like, it's just so. I think I totally just butchered that. But that was the gist of it. And then her final tidbit for around the holidays was like, she said, don't forget anybody. Don't forget anybody's gifts. She said, you don't want to be the one who forgets somebody on there on their list.

So. And she just came out with her 100th cookbook, and she was saying, everybody wants her cookbook. And she was like, oh, everybody wants my. She's like, I can't find. Everybody wants it. I don't know where the copies are. I can't find any. I don't have any. And then somebody towards the end of the Q and A was like, oh, and by the way, everyone here you are getting a signed copy of Martha's cookbook. And Martha just, like, under her breath, Martha's like, oh, maybe that's where all my cookbooks was.

Damn, I'm so jealous of the cookbook.

I know. I just. And it's like. And it's in a gold pen. You open it up, says, happy Holidays, Martha Stewart.

Oh, God, that is just divine.

I know. I wish I had for the rest of my life. But no, the event was beautiful. Saw some people that I haven't gotten to actually, like, meet in real life, which is fun. Like, people you follow, you see and like it. That's. That's always. That's always nice. And then got to listen to Martha, and we were. We were on our merry way.

So, like, the way everybody moves, like, it was like, all right, everyone could take a picture with Martha, but move quick. This is not chit chat. Hang with Martha time. She was basically stood in a corner and took pictures with everybody. She really didn't say a word. Like, she's just. She can do whatever she wants. Like, it was like everybody went up. Oh, my God. Hi, Martha. So nice to meet you. Take a picture. Walk away. She says zero words to most people.

So she didn't even say. She doesn't even say hi, but I respect that.

No, it was like, she's a mad.

Yeah, right. Basically, she was just like, take your photo and then that's.

Yeah. Or try push yourself out. And then I was, you know, listen to Martha's words of advice of, like, kind of being confident, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. She literally was like, what do you have to be afraid of? Who cares?

Like, I'm like, this fish is just staring me in the eye, you know, they like put the whole fish on the plate, staring me, staring right back at me.

Cause Bridget goes, all right. We were watching Surviving Barstool. Jen just started rewinding because she's like, I'm being too loud. I'm missing out on these points. So. But no, it is funny. Like, Jen texted us the other day and was like, rhea, little mastermind. Love it. So it's fun. I like hearing their outside commentary on it too.

It is funny. Bridget texted me last night. She was like, how did you do this? Like, what is going on? And I'm like, honestly, watching it back brings back all of the feelings of when you're there. And it's jarring. It's a little bit jarring. And we've. I've joked around it with. Joked around with other people on the cast, like, being like, I said that. Like, you're like, I said that. You know, like, it's just like those moments where you're like, I can't believe I said that. And I can't believe I did. Like, it just kind of. You're like, you're so in the game. And people.

Yeah. I mean, from the moment we woke up to the moment we went to sleep, there were cameras in our faces. Like, it was truly non stop. Yeah. So there's so much that gets cut out. And that's also been another thing online as well, where people, you know, you're like, how did this conversation get cut? How did. And I've had those moments too. Watching the past six episodes. I'm like, well, that didn't get put in. And this didn't get put in. But.

It's like, then you also understand and you also. Cause if it was gonna be everything, it's impossible to cut it down to however many episodes it is.

It's John Mayer's show on SiriusXM. How's life with John Mayer? They obviously had a conversation and, you know, just two guys talking about being rock stars, all the songs. And Sean talked about kind of the situation, and he said, so I'm with someone and two days before going to hang with my ex, I express, I'm going to hang with my ex because I have unresolved feelings. Is there something in all of this that you could say, yeah, I played that wrong. No one gets out of this life without getting hurt, and no one gets out of this life without hurting someone. Which.

Now I think that's fair. I think that's fair. You make mistakes. Yes. I think without him, maybe not going into too many details, but it's like whether he thinks of it As a mistake or not. But, you know, at the time Sarge starts to see Sabrina, they're together, but there's, like, something. It's not fully over. Camilla. They see each other.

It's like, I'm sure that's not exactly what he. He just was stringing Sabrina along. You know, it's just like, sometimes caught himself in a situation and was like, yeah, it's. It's unfortunate. He did have to be the one hurting somebody in that scenario. And he was.

He did an interview with W Magazine. I read this. I read this this weekend. And I found it interesting because he is doing this new, like, he's a, you know, a new sock company he's got going on. He's, like, going the Rob Kardashian route with this. And it seems like he really didn't love the attention that got brought with dating a bunch of famous women, which is bound to happen when you date a bunch of famous women. And he kind of got pegged as, like, the. He. He thinks in his eyes, like, he's like, I don't want to just be the loser who just dates. Who just.

I don't want to be this fucking loser who just dates people. That's not who I am.

Right. And I think that really got to him. And he kind of talked about how every couple years the Internet decides to just fucking rip apart a celebrity. Which is. Yeah, is true. And it's not every couple years, it's every day now. Yeah, but he said, like, the media just rips apart celebrities, and this is an everyday occurrence, more than it's ever been before. But he feels like he was one of those people that kind of just got ripped apart. And from, like, my. From our side of it, I think we always saw someone as. Pete Davidson is like, someone who, like, got propped up for, like, dating these women. We're like, oh, my God, Pete must be so cool. He's dating all these women. But on the other side of that, there was a lot of people tearing him down, being like, oh, he. He just dates people. What does he even do? Meanwhile, he is a comedian or it's.

Like people ripping apart his looks because of who he's dating.

There's so many things that go into, like. Like being ripped apart. Like, some people might be like, oh, he's complaining about dating these women. He did get ripped. Right. Like. Like, you said his looks. Oh, how could he be dating this? Oh, he's a loser. Whatever. Not the case. He does have a great career. But he talked about how now, like, when he's seen. He really just wants it to be about, like, his comedy or a charity or a business venture or things that he's doing, which he is doing with this sock company now. And he talks a lot about, you know, his style, how it's changed over the years, how he used to be someone who wore, like, a lot of name brands, then those name brands became not cool because everybody wants to wear them and sort of like businesses. How if you have, you know, he was like. He talked about the certain shoe. It was a shoe that he talked about that came to him and he thought they were cool. And then the. The person of the company was like, yeah, they're gonna be a big hit. I gave them out to all these porn stars. And then Pete Davidson was like, I. He's kind of like, well, if you just gave them to Cristiano Ronaldo or Bad Bunny, like, one guy promoting the shoe, then people want that shoe. But if everybody has that shoe, then all of a sudden it becomes mainstream, and then people don't want that shoe anymore. Very. A kind of guy who seems like he wants to be, like, not what everyone else is wearing. And, you know, like, you know, he wants to be.

He got bit by the fashion bug. Yeah.

And now he wants to be like. Like, he's like. He was kind of talking about how, like, if. If something becomes mainstream and everybody wants it, you don't want to be that person. You want to be somebody who buys something just because they like it. Which, on one hand, I do agree with the point of, like, you should just buy something if you like it. Like, it does not. And we've talked about this before, it does not matter if something is in or not in. If you like something, you should buy it and you should wear it, and that's originality. But if something is mainstream and you think it's cool, you shouldn't stop yourself from buying it just because it's quote, unquote, mainstream.

You should also wear that as well if you want to. Like, you know.

Yeah, I agree. I totally agree. But yeah, was. It was an interesting back and forth because of, you know, fashion aspect. And now he's W magazine talking about fashion, doing this whole thing. But, yeah, the quote was, I got hit in the face with the Hollywood shovel. It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I'm very happy where I am at right now mentally. So that's good. Like, it's like, also it's like, seems like he's gone through all of that, that he's had to kind of make peace with that in his mind of everything that's happened these last few years. And now he's on this other side where he does want to be doing good work, business, movies, stand up, charity, like, helping people. So.

Yeah. And he did say, like, it made him take a step back and reevaluate his life. What's important to him? When you get hit in the head over saturated. Yeah. When you get hit in the head with that celebrity or Hollywood shovel, it's like, like, what's important here? Like, what everyone's saying or what do. What does Pete Davidson want to do with his life? Yeah. And I think it's pretty clear that Pete Davidson, although he's doing a public interview for W magazine and people are like, if you don't want to be known, why are you doing the interview? He did say he would be doing it if he was, you know, promoting, like, work. And he is promoting work in this aspect. So.

Yeah. And I think it's also like, there's a way to pick and choose what you do now in the sense of like, less is more, which is what he also said. He said, you know, when you're first coming up and getting all these offers, it's hard to say no because you're hungry. I made the mistake of doing literally everything. Now I'm older and wiser and I'm realizing. Realizing that less is more. Like Christian Bale, he does one movie every two, three years, but you go fucking see it. Leonardo DiCaprio does one movie every four years, but it's the biggest thing in the world.

But that's like the goal that you, like, if you're striving to be a. A movie star. Like, why not take a page out of the biggest stars?

But Rebecca Minkoff, who's new this season on the show, she and Aaron did, like, a pregnancy prank on the rest of the girls, trying to plant a seed that Rebecca was pregnant, but it was not her husband, baby, and like a whole scandal and like, whatever. And they thought it would be, like, funny to like, see where, like, like, if everybody finds out, it's like, who's. Who's the leak? Like, who's telling everybody? Just kind of weird, I thought, like, I don't know, like, especially with like, a pregnant, like, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. I started the new season of the Ultimatum on Netflix. Season three of the Ultimatum.

Is it good? I've seen people talking about it.

It's interesting. It's interesting because it's a different type of season because. And this isn't really a spoiler, but once everybody. All the couples all, like, re coupled and they're in their faux marriages with the other people, but at a point early on in that two of the original couples just pack their bags and fucking leave and there's no conversation, there's no nothing. They get their stuff and, like, leave in the middle of the night. Like, it's like bags packed and they're gone. So because they did that, it left some of the original people without a pair. So, like, say. Say, like, I'll just use it as Nick and Brittany go into it's actually funny. There is a Nick and Vanessa and Nick and Vanessa host, but it's like Nick and I mean they do live, so it's fine. But like Nick and Vanessa, they are paired up with new people. They leave. Well, one guy now doesn't have a partner and his original girlfriend is still with her new guy. So now this guy is just alone and he has to go through the whole process of the rest of the weeks of this fake marriage with his girlfriend. Cuz, you know, with a new guy and he's just sitting on his ass alone in his room, like losing his mind.

So that's kind of an interesting dynamic that hasn't happened before where like the people leave and then these other people just have to go through the process. Like alone. Pretty much. But I don't know, nobody's really like that likable besides like two or three people. One girl looks just like. What was her name? Jess. Love is blind. Then she went on the Perfect Match with Harry Jowsey. They like look exactly the same. It's like, yes, but it's. I'm still watching it. The Ultimatum is just a fucking wild show. I'm like, why? Every time I watch, I'm like, what are. Why do couples do this show? I just could not wrap my. Wrap my brain around it. Like couples that have been together for years have like lived together and like have a full ass life together.

Like, I'm sure this will be, like, in award season. Zoe Deutsch is really good. She was in it, so. Yeah, I'll give that an A minus thought. That was really good. What's his name? Is the main character my guy? Nicholas Holt? He's.

I watched a tunnel of Island. I caught up. So I'm fully caught up, at least on Hulu. I don't know. Like. And also I'm annoyed because I looked up one of the girls on Instagram. Not. And I. It spoiled it for me.

I'll give it like, a B. That if I had rated it before, like, the last bunch of episodes I watched, it would have been higher. But yeah, like, after the movie night, everything. It's kind of gone downhill.

It's. After. It's like, almost over. Is it love they. Unless they magically added more episodes. Love Island. Australia is always, like. Like 27 to 30 episodes.

For, like, the whole season. Because I was looking at Hulu the other day just to see, like, the other past seasons, how many there are. And that's like, kind of the average.

I just have to take it down from an A minus because of, like, how absurd it all is. Right, right, right, right. But it is just fun. And then I just started this show on Netflix last night. I watched the first three episodes. Black Doves. It's the. Kieran Knightley.
