B
It starts on Christmas.
C
Oh, it's on Christmas.
B
Yes.
C
I knew it was one of that.
B
Which is crazy. I mean, it goes into January, which is kind of wild.
C
Yeah, you are. Are you prepared? No. Like you said, you got to go shopping.
B
Well, Hanukkah, the way my family. It is late, but we've kind of. We celebrate both, so we don't do, like. Or at least I don't do, like, eight presents. Like, I just saved the big ones for Christmas and maybe, like, a couple of things for Hanukkah. But that's just how we do.
C
Well, that's exciting. You get a double whammy.
B
Yeah. Double feature Christmas. I feel like everyone's like, oh, now it's over. But we're just like, it's just starting, right?
C
It's just Christmas night. You're gonna be like, it's just begun.
A
Really? Extend New Year's Eve.
B
Lighting the candles.
C
Yeah, that's gonna be really exciting.
A
That's so nice.
C
How was everyone's weekend? How was Martha?
A
Great. Oh, Martha was fantastic. Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha. I did meet Martha Stewart on Friday afternoon, and she was just, as you would expect, just telling some stories. They did, like, a little Q and A with the CMO of rare beauty and asked Martha some questions. And Martha just, like, she's just amazing. Like, even at the beginning, the restaurant they had the event at, it was so cute. It was like in this back courtyard garden. The decor was really, really cute. The new products were, like, laid out everywhere. And, like, the first thing, they were, like, joking around, and it was just like, oh, Martha, we feel like we've been transported back here. It's like we're not even in New York. Like, they were laughing about it. That she's like, yeah, like, Martha approved on the. On the. On the decor. And Martha just said nothing. She just looked her. She went. And then she goes, okay.
C
Oh, my God. Dang, she's feisty.
A
Well, she could just say whatever the fuck she wants, you know, at this point. At this point, she really can. And she was cracking us up because she was like, yeah, you know, I'm taking my grandkids to Jingle Ball tonight. Is anybody going to Jingle Ball? But it's just like, the way she was saying Jingle Ball was very funny, but she had some great words of wisdom. She'd said, learn something new every day. Whatever it is. Read an article about something you don't know about. Try and learn something new every day. And then the other one I'm gonna butcher. But it was something along the lines of, when you're not done changing, you're through or something kind of like that when you're. You're always. You're not done with changing. You're through it. Like, it's just so. I think I totally just butchered that. But that was the gist of it. And then her final tidbit for around the holidays was like, she said, don't forget anybody. Don't forget anybody's gifts. She said, you don't want to be the one who forgets somebody on there on their list.
C
No, you don't.
A
So. And she just came out with her 100th cookbook, and she was saying, everybody wants her cookbook. And she was like, oh, everybody wants my. She's like, I can't find. Everybody wants it. I don't know where the copies are. I can't find any. I don't have any. And then somebody towards the end of the Q and A was like, oh, and by the way, everyone here you are getting a signed copy of Martha's cookbook. And Martha just, like, under her breath, Martha's like, oh, maybe that's where all my cookbooks was.
C
Damn, I'm so jealous of the cookbook.
A
I know. I just. And it's like. And it's in a gold pen. You open it up, says, happy Holidays, Martha Stewart.
C
Oh, God, that is just divine.
A
I know. I wish I had for the rest of my life. But no, the event was beautiful. Saw some people that I haven't gotten to actually, like, meet in real life, which is fun. Like, people you follow, you see and like it. That's. That's always. That's always nice. And then got to listen to Martha, and we were. We were on our merry way.
B
What did you say to her?
A
So, like, the way everybody moves, like, it was like, all right, everyone could take a picture with Martha, but move quick. This is not chit chat. Hang with Martha time. She was basically stood in a corner and took pictures with everybody. She really didn't say a word. Like, she's just. She can do whatever she wants. Like, it was like everybody went up. Oh, my God. Hi, Martha. So nice to meet you. Take a picture. Walk away. She says zero words to most people.
C
So she didn't even say. She doesn't even say hi, but I respect that.
A
No, it was like, she's a mad.
C
No.
A
Yeah, right. Basically, she was just like, take your photo and then that's.
C
Get your op and get on out of here.
A
Now. If you had, like, something to say or give her whatever, then she was very receptive and listening in that sense. But, like, you know, was like, let's take these. Let's take these pictures quick and get the show on the road.
C
Yeah. Well, that's awesome.
A
She had to get to Jingle Ball.
C
Of course. You had to take her grandkids to Jingle Ball. That sounds awesome, though. What a lovely Friday afternoon.
A
It was really. Yeah.
C
And so in the holiday spirit as well.
A
It was. It was. And she just. What an icon. She looks incredible.
C
I mean, for her age. It's genuinely shocking.
A
No, it really is. And she had these gold, like, leather pants on, and she looks sick. And these white sequin Prada sneakers that I was like, oh, my God, you're so cool.
C
She's awesome. She's just so cool. Well, that sounds like such a wonderful Friday. I'm so happy for you.
A
It was.
C
And I'm happy you went and conquered your fear and got to meet Martha Stewart.
A
I know. I know. I've. I did. I was very nervous walking into the event solo. I will say it all. But it all, you know, it all panned out. Yeah.
C
And sometimes that's really nice to enjoy something by yourself, too.
A
Yeah. Or try push yourself out. And then I was, you know, listen to Martha's words of advice of, like, kind of being confident, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. She literally was like, what do you have to be afraid of? Who cares?
C
Right? It's so true.
A
I was like, martha, you're so right.
C
It's like when people say, like, embarrassment isn't real. It's just you be like, what are you embarrassed of? And then you're like, well, I'm embarrassed. It's like, well, you could just not be. It's so. It's harder. It's harder than.
A
Right. Because it's like the new rare beauty line is like the awakened confidence.
C
Yeah.
A
So they were asking her about, you know, how you bring confidence. She's like, you know, you just. What are you afraid of? Just, you know, get out there, do it. Try it.
C
Yeah. So the worst that can happen is it doesn't happen. And I guess that's really not, you know, it's easier said than done. Of course.
A
Totally. But it was lovely you completed your trip.
C
I did platinum status. And let me just say, the weather was shit.
A
Yeah.
C
It rained the whole weekend. But at least she got platinum.
A
Yeah. Yep.
C
Yeah.
A
You know, you had a goal and you achieved the goal.
C
I did achieve the goal, but the close 1a and 1b 1b was get a tan.
A
Right.
C
Because.
A
Right, right, right. That was.
C
I'm paler than my. My bare cheeks as a baby right now. And yeah, that didn't happen. You know, and not even just get a tan. More like get some sun, get some rejuvenation that I feel like I really needed.
A
Yeah.
C
And I didn't get any of that. Yeah. Which is. It is what it is. You know what I mean? It's just like when it gets cold and dark and you just like really crave that.
A
You crave that vitamin D. Totally, totally. And some sunshine.
C
That didn't. That didn't necessarily happen. You know, there were some thoughts in my head like, oh, you know, I could have flew, you know, somewhere that.
A
Would be like, guaranteed.
C
Guaranteed.
A
Yeah.
C
But I.
A
Then it's harder. It's a weekend.
C
And also we had a lovely weekend with Matt's parents.
A
Yeah.
C
Right.
A
You know, it's all fun.
C
I gotta be honest. Best dinner I've ever had in Florida. Saturday night we went to this place and it's like a Michelin star restaurant, which I just.
A
I.
C
They were like, we gotta try this place out.
A
Yeah.
C
And it was unbelievable. I had this wagyu steak that just like melted in your mouth. Where some yellowtail jalapeno.
A
Can you give a location?
C
Yeah, it's like. I guess it's near Orlando because they. Bless. You live in Claremont. So I guess it's, you know, we had to drive a little bit.
A
Yeah.
C
And I think it was called Akira Black, I think that was the name of it. And it's located in a hotel. Sorry, I just want to make sure I have the right.
A
That sounds delightful.
C
Oh, no, sorry. The chef is Akira back.
A
Okay.
C
And it's called Salt and the Cellar.
A
Salt in the Cellar.
C
Salt and the Cellar by Akira back in the ETT Hotel. So I butchered that totally fine. But there's a lot of names going on there.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
But really incredible. And the dessert was just. Oh, my God. Like this three layer twisted cheesecake they called it. Just really honestly the best meal I would say I had in Florida.
A
Wow, that's so nice.
C
It was so good. So that honestly worth it?
A
Sometimes the. The food alone is worth it.
C
Yeah. And we got home and then we watched the holiday.
A
Oh, my God. I watched the holiday. This weekend.
B
I started watching it too.
C
Oh, my God.
A
This is about. I'm around. This time is my annual holiday.
C
Yeah.
A
Rewatch. Yeah, we. I watched Saturday night.
C
So did I. Oh, my God. Were we watching at the same time?
A
Probably were.
C
Oh, my God. Smile on my face right now. Yeah, we all. We all came home, we watched the Holiday. So. Yeah. Even though the weather was not great. We still had a great weekend. And I made that Platinum.
A
There you go.
C
Platinum, baby.
A
There you go. I went to. We went out to dinner Friday night to spot in this city called Oceans.
C
Oh, I love Oceans.
A
It is so good. It's so fantastic. But we got this and we had never ordered it before, but like you can get a. Basically a full fish that they just sashimi up for you right there and put it on the plate and it was so good. But then like, like eat it. Like, I'm like, this fish is just staring me in the eye, you know, they like put the whole fish on the plate, staring me, staring right back at me.
C
Oh, that's an amazing restaurant.
A
Oh, my God. It was. It was delicious. I did wake up to a text from Francis on Sunday that was so Francis. And Francis works here at Barstool as well. Morning, Fran. Saw that you achieved diamond. You have some very important decisions to make regarding your choice. Benefits selections. If you want any help. I have spent an ungodly amount of time researching this.
C
Wow.
A
I was like, wow. Thank you so much, Francis. We'll discuss in the office on what my choices should be.
C
If only. I fucking got that text. God damn it.
B
What are the choices? Like, I didn't realize.
A
Yeah. There's some added benefits. You get to choose once you hit diamond of some extra perks.
C
Yeah.
A
Through them this weekend.
C
Fuck. Whatever.
A
Whatever. Whatever.
C
Very. I'm very happy.
A
What is a goal for next year?
C
It is. It is. I don't know if I'm going to make it next year, but I am very. I'm very happy for you, Francesca.
A
But that was Francis.
C
That reminded me surviving Barstool back this week. Your girl made it through another week. Last week's episode started to heat up a little bit. It only gets more intense, I think starting this week is this last week before the. Yeah.
A
For the break. So we have three more episodes and then.
C
And then there's a two week break. Okay. Yes.
A
Everybody's locked in.
C
I'm loving the. I'm loving our listeners who are watching. Guys. I love the support. Thank you very much. I need. I need the support from our girls. Okay. I need the support from our chicks. Because, you know, you guys get reality tv.
A
Yeah.
C
You know, you guys are fans of reality tv. And as fans of reality tv, I like to see what you guys have to say.
A
We did. All my friends are watching it, which is very funny. So just like hearing their commentary is. But it was even like last night we were at Madeline's for a little holiday dinner. And now one of my friends has moved and two of us were at her spot. So she had FaceTimed us and. And they were watching the last episode, but we were all like, yapping away. And it was so funny. Cause Bridget goes, all right. We were watching Surviving Barstool. Jen just started rewinding because she's like, I'm being too loud. I'm missing out on these points. So. But no, it is funny. Like, Jen texted us the other day and was like, rhea, little mastermind. Love it. So it's fun. I like hearing their outside commentary on it too.
C
It is funny. Bridget texted me last night. She was like, how did you do this? Like, what is going on? And I'm like, honestly, watching it back brings back all of the feelings of when you're there. And it's jarring. It's a little bit jarring. And we've. I've joked around it with. Joked around with other people on the cast, like, being like, I said that. Like, you're like, I said that. You know, like, it's just like those moments where you're like, I can't believe I said that. And I can't believe I did. Like, it just kind of. You're like, you're so in the game. And people.
A
That's how they get you.
C
That's how they get you.
A
And that's how they get you on real. Like, there are people across the board on all reality TV shows that are. When they are immersed in the show and then they watch it back and they're like, oh, whoa.
C
Right, Right. And they film 24 7. Like, I know that they're not really showing that. Yeah. But now that we're six episodes deep.
A
You had a camera in your face all day long.
C
Yeah. I mean, from the moment we woke up to the moment we went to sleep, there were cameras in our faces. Like, it was truly non stop. Yeah. So there's so much that gets cut out. And that's also been another thing online as well, where people, you know, you're like, how did this conversation get cut? How did. And I've had those moments too. Watching the past six episodes. I'm like, well, that didn't get put in. And this didn't get put in. But.
A
But.
C
Right.
A
It's like, then you also understand and you also. Cause if it was gonna be everything, it's impossible to cut it down to however many episodes it is.
B
Right.
C
And nobody knows, like, what the episodes are gonna be like. Nobody has seen the episodes. So it's like you can't really. You just have to watch and then be like, oh, okay, that's what got put in. Or that's what didn't get put in. But we just sent Clemmer home in the sixth episode, the pizza, the Pizza four, the Pizza five, or whatever the fuck Clemmer was calling us.
A
Well, you know, right on the heart. Right on the heart.
C
It's unreal. It's unreal. I saw somebody comment that I'm like, acting like Tony Soprano and that was like the best comment to me. I'm like, you know what? If that's what people saw in that episode, then so be it.
A
Wheeling and dealing.
C
Yep, yep, I'm watching. Like, what am I doing? You know what I mean?
A
Like, you're just like, hey, you know what? You're fucking cutthroat. It's like something at the end of the day, like this. The name. You're like. You're like, all right, everybody sit down. Is the name of the game. Somebody's got to go. Who's it going to be? Who's it going to be? Somebody's got to go.
C
My face is like, so serious too. Like, it's like dead fucking serious. And like, I'm having this thing where I'm like, yeah, I'm like, so dead serious in this show. But all of our chicks listeners know like, how goofy I am really, like, on this show and in my everyday life, like, I'm so goofy and like, not very serious. But it's a game, you know.
A
Hey, I just said you were locked in.
C
I was. You know, that episode I had my game face on.
A
But it's also like, with a show like this where so much is focused on the challenge into who gets sent home, the like, haha, funny, silly moments that are like, happening, they're just not a lot of the time they're just like, not going to be put into the show.
C
Right.
A
Because it's like for context of who's getting sent home and everything. Like, that's what they. They have to put in all those conversations.
C
Right?
A
So that's why I feel like, serious. So serious. Because you're like, you. Those are the serious conversations you're having because you have to decide who's being sent home.
C
Right, Right. If I'm skipping around.
A
Yeah.
C
Who's going to take me seriously?
A
Right.
C
I will say, though, I don't.
A
They like, decide. They decide which people they're going to show. Like the. It's like, oh, like all the silly, funny, like, they're going to show Mincy they're going to show Gilly. They're going to show Rico doing, like, the stupid, silly stuff.
C
Yeah, I don't. I haven't seen people talk about this either, though. But we did get our phones taken away a lot of time. Like, right after the challenge, before elimination, we all got our phones taken away. So sometimes. Like, sometimes it would be hours.
A
Right.
C
Like, sometimes you did it, Sometimes we had it, sometimes we didn't. So that was also another aspect where, like, sometimes we had our phone, Sometimes it got taken away. And I think, like, I don't know if you could tell that while watching.
A
Yeah.
C
Cause sometimes.
A
No, I don't. You definitely.
C
Sometimes we're on our phone, and sometimes we're not at all.
A
We're like, you definitely can't.
C
Scrambling around. Yeah. But ready, up, go. Oh, my God.
A
It was gonna be ready, up, go.
C
That challenge was literally gonna be in my. In my nightmares.
A
No, I couldn't. I could not believe people were asking how many times we had to listen to Jeff dlo say those words.
C
People for dming me why they didn't see me. In the jousting challenge, we had to sit one person out because we had an extra person. Because the other team didn't send someone home. We. They sent someone home. We didn't. So the team decided to sit me out of the jousting. Yeah, I was going to. I was like, I'll do it.
A
Yeah.
C
But I think it was a team decision. Like, yes.
A
Yeah.
C
Not put Rhea up there.
A
I would. Solely from, like, a wingspan. No. You know, like, that's like. You're. You got to. You got to.
C
Well, I've got it through in my head. What I would have done is ready, legs, fight. I would have crouched down and went for the.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Totally.
C
That would have been mine.
A
Totally.
C
Which.
A
But I didn't get to. I understand the team's. The team's mindset.
C
I understand the team's mindset of let's.
A
And honestly, after watching them all, like, actually hurt themselves for the best and.
C
Also hearing will say, I'm not above just knocking moves out, I'd be like, okay, y. Y.
A
No, for sure. I'm good with getting nailed in the face by a retired at a certain point.
C
And there were some people on production after that were like, rhea, we were so relieved that they sat you out because you're getting married in April, and, like, if something happened to you, I'm like, oh, good point. I actually did nothing. I had some. Cuz, like, I've been getting asked, like, Certain questions in my DMs and stuff where I'm like, feel like they're pretty self explanatory, but I guess they're not. Like someone DM me, like, why aren't you wearing your ring? Like with a bunch of like exclamation points. And I'm like, well, I didn't want to get like, we're doing challenges. Like, I don't want my rings on my hands. Like, you really never. We had no.
A
You don't know what.
C
It's no idea what the challenges are going to be. So I'm like, I don't want any jewelry on whatsoever. Earrings, necklaces, rings, whatever. Like, I just want to be clean, free, whatever. So, yeah, yeah, it's, it's. It's very interesting to watch back and I got to be honest. Do you have a favorite character? Because like, just from like a reality TV standpoint, I do have a favorite character.
A
Yeah. I don't know. It's hard. It's hard to separate, I guess.
C
Yeah.
A
You know.
C
Yeah.
A
Like I, it is like, I get what you're saying, but at the same time, like, personally, like Francis has been so, like, good. Like, I think it's Francis for me.
C
Francis is so funny. But Ryan Whitney.
A
Yeah, yeah. What's been great.
C
I think Whitney is so funny.
A
I think Roan as well.
C
Yeah, Roan. I feel like Francis and Roan are like, no duh. Like they're people, like expect them to be. And obviously Ryan Whitney is so funny too.
A
But just Francis and Roan we interact with on a day to day basis when we do not know.
C
So like, yeah, watching him, I'm like.
A
Yeah, literally crack jousting was so funny of him being like, I went early.
C
Again and it was so funny. They talked about this on the unnamed show where Wit said that Dave turned to him like on the last one before he went up against Will and was like, just do it again. We already lost. Like, it was just. Which is. That's what I'm saying. Like there's so many like, yeah, other like little jokes that get thrown in or things that people are saying that get cut. But like, it's pretty much impossible to get it cut.
A
Holiday party fails can turn into a great story that ends with a toast over Coors light. Getting snowed in can turn into the ultimate movie marathon. It doesn't matter if the holidays don't go as planned. When you choose chill and then reach for a Coors light. When you embrace a chill mindset. This holiday, it's a good Time to choose chill and crack open a Coors Light. Coors Light is mountain cold refreshment. Crisp and refreshing as the Rockies. I think, you know, you gotta embrace that chill mindset for the holidays. Maybe you are starting to have some new traditions. You know, I just got married this year, so establishing some new traditions for our family is very exciting. Hosting, going to parties. Also, I love a good Christmas movie marathon. I think just cozying up, making sure the Coors Light is cold. You have it stocked up in the fridge and you get on the couch and you do a full movie holiday movie marathon, which is also always so fun. Choose chill this holiday season and then reach for a Coors Light. Get Coors Light delivered straight to your door. Visit Coors Light.com chicks or you can find it pretty much anywhere that sells beer. And always celebrate responsibly. From Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado.
C
Like I said, though, it is jarring to watch yourself back.
A
Yeah. I mean, it's the social experiment of coworkers, which is crazy. Cause, you know, you just all have to continue working with each other.
C
Right.
A
No matter what happens.
C
And I think remembering it's a game is important. And even though we are all co workers, like, it's a game.
A
Right? Just even like this where we're up to right now is like, Clemmer, Clemmer, I feel like, respects the game, understands the game. You got, you know, we see him in the office all like last week you guys were talking about it and Clemmer was like, you know, you guys got me. Got me good.
C
And Clemmer was like, I was gonna. My plan was to get you out. Yeah, like, he, like. So I'm like, you know, like, oh, yeah. The hard thing was, was awesome. But yeah, it's a game.
A
Yeah.
C
So even though we're all co workers, but yeah, with Survivor, it's like, yeah, they're all in a jungle and like, they're not eating and they have to sleep on grass and whatever. But they all, like, don't see each other really, if they don't want to ever again. We.
A
All right, back to work.
C
Right? Back to work. I'll have to, you know, interact.
A
We're. We'll be tuning in back. We're back. Tuesday night.
C
Yes. Tuesday night, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. This week, 8pm Eastern Time on all platforms. You can watch on the Boston YouTube and yeah, check it out.
A
The. The Eagles keep winning, which has been fun.
C
That's very nice.
A
It has been fun. 1010 wins. And now that I'm bringing it up, I'M probably going to end up jinxing it, but it's been. It's been a fun season. And there was, like, all this drama last week about Jalen Hurts and A.J. brown and whatever, and then they just kind of like, shoved it right in everybody's faces on Sunday, which was great. And they also did, like, all these lookalike contests in Philly this weekend. Jason Kelsey look alike contest. They did a Jalen Hurts one, but the Jason Kelsey one. My God, did some of those guys look exactly like Jason Kelsey?
C
They all looked like Jason Kelsey.
A
Like, sometimes you see these look like contests and you're like, the guys that showed up. Little bit of a stretch. Not for the Jason Kelsey one. He actually, like, just changed his Twitter profile picture to one of the guys I miss. Maybe I'm assuming he's the one that won because he was in, like, a winter, like, white fleece type jacket. I would say, like, very, like a holiday pattern type thing. And oh, my God, he looks just like him.
C
Insane. When I saw the videos, I was like, there's about three people that I already think are Jason Kelsey.
A
Yep.
C
So that's incredible. But, yeah, you got your Eagles sweatshirt on right now.
A
I think I've only exclusively been wearing Eagles merchandise on. On this podcast every Monday for now. We're going on 10 weeks.
C
That makes sense. Why wouldn't you? It's clearly. You have a rhythm going.
A
It's the easiest charm. It's when it's a victory Monday and I can open the closet and say, I don't even really need to think about what I'm putting on. Going for the Eagles. The sweater.
C
Fuck it. Why not? You gotta rep your team. Noah, how was your weekend?
B
It was good. I had a. I went to the Rangers game. I haven't been to a hockey game in forever. And then I was joking. Like, people forget that I played four years of varsity hockey in high school.
A
People forget.
C
I don't think we knew.
A
I don't think we ever knew. We never talked about that, ever.
C
I don't think we ever knew. What do you mean?
A
People played four years of varsity ice hockey?
C
What?
B
The word play could be debated. No, no, I did play.
A
You were on the team.
B
I wasn't the first line. Let's just say that.
C
Third.
B
But.
A
But you were on the team our freshman year.
B
We went 0 and 18, so I definitely got some minutes.
A
Oh, shit.
B
Wow. But I was on the. It was one of those. Yeah, I was on the team for four years. I mean, I played hockey my whole.
A
Life, like, so was there a JV team or was it only varsity?
B
Good question.
A
Yeah.
B
There was not a TV team. Although I think my I. Yeah, because.
A
I was gonna say four years. Varsity is like.
B
By the time I was a senior, they, I think started cutting.
C
And I was gonna say, is that now why you were 0 and 18? If there was. No, it was all varsity. Everyone was just on the same.
A
Everyone played varsity.
C
Everyone played varsity, so they're not gonna win a game.
B
By the time the grades below us, like all had like really good hockey players. So by the time I was like a senior, we actually.
A
You were getting better.
C
Did you get better?
B
Did I get better? I think I probably like.
C
No, the rephrasing the re. Answering the question.
A
Did I get better?
C
No.
B
It's like you only play so much.
A
You really are such a winter sports guy.
B
Yeah. I don't know why. And hockey is like, I think any parent would tell you, like, that's the last sport you'd want your kid to play. Like. Yeah, because that's like you wake up at like 5.
C
So expensive.
B
It's so expensive. All the equipment, like traveling. Yeah.
A
6:00Am practice.
B
Yeah. No, but I kind of missed it. I haven't skated in forever.
A
That's so.
B
Well, remember I skated when we were in Minnesota and you guys were like, why does he not have skate?
A
Yeah, but I don't remember like conversation about you playing. I do remember you being a good skater, but I don't remember you being like, yeah, I played ice hockey.
C
Yeah, I agree with you. I don't remember the ice hockey talking.
B
I always remember there's this one guy who's. When I was a freshman, he was. Or he was a great. Above me. So when I was a freshman, he was a sophomore. He was also like a kind of a bench warmer type of guy. And it was our first game. I was like so nervous. We were like in the warm ups and we were. He passed me a puck and it just went like right by me like all the way down the ice. He's like, dude, don't worry about it. Like they're gonna put us in like with five minutes left. And we just try to fight people.
C
Like, is this something. Is that something that keeps you tossing and turning at night? Like, damn, no, no, pass me.
B
No. There's certain plays that do, but that's not one of them.
A
The. That's interesting though because I feel like you're like, I'm not, not like a massive hockey.
B
No, I actually feel that's the case for a Lot of people, or like, at least when I played, like, weren't like that into watching hockey. It's just like, you play it, but there's too many games. I don't know. Like. Yeah, I can't ever watch. But going to hockey games is always fun.
A
I love going to a hockey.
C
Hockey games are, I think, the most fun.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
C
In my opinion.
A
Wow. But yeah, learn something new every day.
B
About our pal on Saturday night. And there was sushi at the Christmas party. I stayed away.
C
Good.
B
And I actually, like, took it kind of easy. I didn't really get like that crazy on set. I was like, maybe I shouldn't drink too much. My stomach felt. Still kind of felt.
C
That's fair.
A
That's fair. Take it easy on the body for a little bit. Fully recover.
C
You got to prep for the holidays.
B
Yeah, Yeah. I haven't worked out. This is the longest I've gone out all year without, like, exercising. I'm kind of like reverting back into.
C
At this point, you might as well just, you know, ride it out. Be the January 2nd guy.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Yep. The new Year. It's the new Year. New Year, new me.
B
Yeah.
C
I don't know why. That all just reminded me. I had a dream last night that I. Cause I'm making a bunch of dishes for Christmas Eve. Cause we're having it at my house on Long island. And I had a dream that I forgot everything. And now I'm like, oh, now I'm getting pretty scared that I'm gonna forget the things I have to make.
A
Yeah, yeah, you won't.
C
But. No, I won't.
A
That is, I have that dream often as well.
C
It's like, oh, pre.
A
Some sort of event.
C
Oh, fuck. I forgot all the big clams.
A
Right, right, right.
B
Damn. You guys have big clams?
C
I'm making big clams.
A
You can't forget the clams.
C
I'm making big clams. I'm making mussels, shrimp scampi. I talked about this. And some stuffed mushrooms. Well, I kinda like you're doing the fishes. Yeah. Well, I kind of fucked my parents over because we were going there for Christmas Eve and it was gonna be very small. And then I guess more and more people found out that my parents were having a small Christmas Eve gathering. And it turned into a large Christmas Eve gathering.
A
Yeah.
C
And my parents hit me with the way to go.
A
Maria. Yeah.
C
We could have just had a. You know, we could have just went to dinner or something.
A
Right.
C
And I was the one being like, I don't want to Go to dinner on Christmas Eve. I want to cook.
A
Yeah.
C
And because I thought I was cooking for a small group, and now it'll be a big group. It'll be a large group.
B
Do you have, like, kids at this party?
C
No.
B
Okay. I was going to say, like, are you putting. Like, do you have to put cookies out and do the whole, like, Santa's coming, like, that type of thing?
C
No. Luka's not old enough yet.
A
Yeah.
B
No, that's a few years away.
C
Yeah. He's like.
A
Yeah.
C
He didn't know what's going on. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
How long did you believe?
A
And if you do it, like, that's for. That's for show. It's, like, for photos, and it's totally for the. It's, like, for the purpose of the adults.
C
Oh, my God. Did I. Good question. How long do you believe in Santa? Did I not show you Luca's picture?
A
Oh, I saw. I saw what your sister post. I didn't. I didn't see. You did not, but I saw what your sister posted.
C
Yeah. Wait.
A
He seemed unimpressed.
C
Unimpressed. He was crying. But, guys, look at this scary, scary Santa that one of my sister's friends brought. Brought her kids to. This guy does not look like Santa.
A
Oh, no.
C
Oh, he's, like, so skinny. I. I know. We.
B
Santa's house.
C
We don't have any vision.
A
I mean, he's like. He's young, too.
C
He's like a really, like, young, skinny Santa. That doesn't look like Santa at all.
A
That's a bad wig.
C
No, like. And, like, it's not even. Like, the wig is more gray than white.
A
Like, I mean, you can't. Like, if you bring a kid that is, like, on the verge of questioning Santa, and that's the Santa you bring. You bring him to. It's over. It's over. It's done. Santa's done.
C
The kid did ask mommy what was wrong with Santa. He looked different.
A
Yeah.
C
And she was like, oh, Santa. Santa had to bring in a helper.
A
Yeah.
B
Wait, so do these kids, Because I don't remember me being like this. I don't think I was ever, like, brought to, like, a sit on Santa's lap type of thing. Maybe I was, but. Or, like, when you were growing up, did you believe that was Santa? I never was brought either, because I'm like. I think as a kid, I still believed in Santa, but I was like, these aren't the real. Like, these are just, you know, they're just faking it. Like, Santa's Too busy to be, like, in the mall.
C
For sure. For sure.
A
Yeah.
C
I can't. I was like, he's in the North Pole.
B
Yeah. I'm dressing up as him.
C
Yeah, I totally agree with that.
A
I can't remember. Although I will say the Short Hills Mall had a really. Always had a really good Santa. And I. There is probably a few years that.
C
I did think that this guy was far too skinny as a Santa, far too young, and his wig and beard was, like, gray and out white.
A
No, that's a bad Santa. Really, all around, bad Santa.
C
Really bad.
A
Yeah. No, you're scarring your children, taking them to see a Santa like that.
C
For sure. No, Luca had a great Santa, but Luca, like, was screaming and crying. Yeah, well, which you're being handed to a stranger.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
C
It kind of makes sense why you're a little friend.
B
Like a whole, like, costume.
C
Yeah. Like, as a baby, you're like, ah.
A
Did you see that TikTok? It went viral. Like, it was a. It gone. I forget where. Where it even was. But it was like this. The girl was so cute. She was this little girl and she was waiting for. But it wasn't a Santa. It was the Grinch. But the Grinch, like, dressed in the whole Santa outfit, and the Grinch turns the corner and she sees the Grinch and she just, like, starts screaming bloody murder. She's, like, so terrified. And then, like, the Grinch, like, sits down, she's screaming, but everyone's like, okay, it's time for a picture. It's time for a picture. And literally, like, the Grinch picks her up and she's like, okay. And like, she just smiles, but, like, she was really just sobbing her eyes out. But like, she's like, okay, picture. And like, she. Oh, that's a little smile on her face, like, trying to just get through the picture.
C
But, I mean, I could see being terrified of the Grinch if you.
A
It's a rite of passage to scream your head off as a little child taking a picture with Santa, you know?
C
For sure. For sure. Well, we are in that season, but it is time to get into the rest of the topics for today's show we're gonna do. I mean, Vanderpump's over, but now we got. Now we're talking about these guys. It seems like Tom Sandoval maybe Che on his new girlfriend. Whoa, big shocker there. The police report was put out for James Kennedy and Ally. His girlfriend posted about it on her Instagram. Shawn Mendez seems like he maybe alluded to the whole Sabrina, Camilla, you know, little love triangle. Pete Davidson did an interview with W magazine where he talks about, you know, not wanting to be famous for certain things while doing an interview for V. I mean, W magazine. And we have the weekly watch report. So let's get into the topics. My bridal shower is right around the corner in the beginning of January. And thanks to Zola on the Zola app, I was able to put together my registry really easy. Just sat on the couch with my Zola app, put it together and now I'm seeing the gifts coming through, what people are purchasing. You could ship it right away, you could wait to ship it. And I'm doing this all on Zola. And with Zola, you can plan your entire wedding in one convenient place from the day you get engaged and you search for the venue or when you send out, they'll save the dates. Or when you're having your bridal shower and making a registry and so many different things that come into the wedding planning process. Zola has you covered. There's even a five star app which I have on my phone that really helps me out and helps me keep organized with like guest list and everything to come. Or you could do this all on your couch. Like I mentioned personally, you know, the guest list, having that all on the Zola app is super easy and convenient. You can add, you could take away, you got to take someone away. You never know. But you could do that all on the Zola app. So right now get started. There's also wedding pros on call to help you out on there. And if you're planning a wedding or someone you know is planning a wedding, recommend Zola that z o l a.com get started. Get it going. Go to Zola.com. so, a little Vanderpump guy talk. Even though the season's ending, it seemed like Tom Sandoval allegedly probably cheated on his girlfriend. She posted some stories alluding to the fact. Yeah, she posted and then deleted that are now deleted. And it was like a scathing post suggesting that he cheated. That is what Page Six reported.
A
She said, wow, you guys were right. Tiger never changes its stripes. He loves the best friends, apparently. I feel like a fool. Completely heartbroken.
C
Okay, well, here's my honey. First of all, number one, why would you ever date Tom Sandoval? Number two, what is with all of girls? Best friends fucking hooking up with their best friend's boyfriends. Yeah, what's good with that, right?
A
I don't know.
C
Like Tom Sandoval, we all know, awful guy. And it doesn't excuse his behavior.
A
Oh, you think?
C
She wrote he loves the best friends, apparently.
A
Yeah, yeah, no, I know, but you're saying her best friends. I'm thinking his own friends. I'm thinking like he's. He hooked up with somebody that he was like, no, don't. She's just my. She's just my best friend. She's just my best friend.
C
Oh, I took it as like he loves the best friends apparently. Like I, I took it as her being like he one of my best friends.
A
Right. That would be a repeat scenario for sure. Which I. It's totally possible.
C
But I could, I mean, I can't put anything past.
A
No, you can't at all. But I just feel like Sandoval is totally the type of guy who like has his female friends and like, to his girlfriend he's like, no, no, don't worry. Like we're told, she's just my best friend. She's just my best friend.
C
That's definitely possible as well. I, like I said, I don't put anything, anything past this guy. She wrote, I feel like a fool. Completely heartbroken. What do you. Okay, like sorry.
A
Like sorry, that sucks. But like, like it's one of those scenarios where I feel like I don't want to lay into this girl too much because that is sad and unfortunate for her. But you dated Tom Sandoval, right?
C
It's hard to feel so bad for somebody who dated Tom Sandoval after everything was made to light about Tom Sandoval. That's where I stand on that. It seems like, like you choose to.
A
Believe Tom Sandoval at his word, right?
C
Like, why the fuck would you ever choose to believe Tom Sandoval?
A
He is a pathological liar.
C
She'll probably learn her lust from this. To never believe someone like Tom Sandoval ever again.
A
Hope so.
C
And they deleted all their posts together. It's a tale as old as time. Nowhere did we ever think that Tom Sandoval was changing his behavior or the way he acts. This will be who he is probably forever because he's just that kind of guy. And it's disgusting and unfortunate. He's a liar and he's a big fat liar. And this girl believed him and you know, that sucks for her. But it was pretty apparent how he acted.
A
Yeah.
C
So that is very. Just not shocking at all. Really, really not shocking in the slightest bit. Oh, Tom's animal cheated. Now I do want to know, was it her best friend or someone he claimed to be?
A
Right. That's what I'm. Yeah.
C
If he did. If he did it again, where he cheated with one of her friends.
A
Yeah.
C
And what. What is wrong? What is wrong? What is wrong with him? And what is wrong with the women who continue to hook up with him? I'm. I'm so baffled by it. I'm really baffled by it.
A
Agreed.
C
James Kennedy.
A
Not good.
C
Really not good. Here, Updates. Yeah, the police report stated that he picked a woman up and threw her to the ground.
A
Terrible.
C
This all apparently transpired after Kathy Hilton's Christmas party.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Ali posted on her story over the weekend because there was also some reports that was like. And I don't know the validity of them, but it was like, oh, business as usual. Like, they're allies. Staying with him. They're gonna work. Working this out, like, blah, blah, blah. So I don't know what. I don't know what the situation really is with their relationship. If. If that police report is accurate. Like, I would really hope Ally does not stay with him. She posted on her story and said thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me. I'm okay. And taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time. So. Ali's just a sweetheart. I hope that she can break away from James in this situation, because I just. I think James can be so. Like, it's just two sides of a coin. Like, you don't know what side you're gonna get. I saw this clip from Vile Files because they were at Kathy Hilton's party, and this was before the news broke of what had happened between James and Ali. But Nick was saying that he, you know, said hello to James, chat and whatever. James introduced some guy that was, like, one of his best friends and was like, oh, like, it was. It was nice. Normal, whatever. And then, like, the next time that he saw him around the party, he watched James, like, snap on this guy. Like, so just, like, word, word. It seemed like Nick's reaction was like, whoa. Like, yeah, supposed to be one of his best friends. He just, like, fucking snapped at him like that.
C
And he said, like, demanded him to do, like, yeah, hold my drink.
A
My drink or something. Yeah, yeah. So I don't know. Not. Not. Not great. It is unfortunate because it did feel like everybody had thought James was moving in a better direction, and perhaps that's not the case. Kristen Doute Repost. When this, when the news broke, she reposted the story on her story and just wrote finally, which is.
C
That's as blatant as it gets.
A
Telling.
C
Yes.
A
And yeah, just. Just not good. I think, like, TMZ tried to catch him at the airport. I've seen James, like, he hasn't addressed it at all. Hasn't said anything. Allegedly they were some of his DJing gigs, like, were staying as they were, but now it seems like a lot of things are actually being canceled. So I guess, you know, I don't know what. I don't know what he's gonna do here, but right now it feels like he's handling this poorly.
C
I agree. And I really hope that Ali has the support that she really needs in this sort of situation. And I think anybody seeing this would be like, yeah, we hope that she gets out of this relationship with James and does not stick around.
A
So it's easier said than done.
C
It is easier said than done. And although we could be like, hey, get out. Yeah, she's probably being fed different things by James and, oh, I will never do that again. I was. Whatever, you know, any excuse in the book. And sometimes it's. It's easy to, you know, believe that kind of person manipulating your brain. So I hope.
A
Right.
C
I hope Ali is supported by her friends and family. And. Yeah, just one of those cases where seems like he will never change as well. It's always going to be. It's always going to be something new. Moving on. It seems like Shawn Mendes kind of, you know, touched on the little love triangle with him, Sabrina and Camilla. He had a conversation with John Mayer where, of course, they, you know, bonded over the fact that they have had high profile exes write songs about them and whatnot. It's John Mayer's show on SiriusXM. How's life with John Mayer? They obviously had a conversation and, you know, just two guys talking about being rock stars, all the songs. And Sean talked about kind of the situation, and he said, so I'm with someone and two days before going to hang with my ex, I express, I'm going to hang with my ex because I have unresolved feelings. Is there something in all of this that you could say, yeah, I played that wrong. No one gets out of this life without getting hurt, and no one gets out of this life without hurting someone. Which.
A
Now I think that's fair. I think that's fair. You make mistakes. Yes. I think without him, maybe not going into too many details, but it's like whether he thinks of it As a mistake or not. But, you know, at the time Sarge starts to see Sabrina, they're together, but there's, like, something. It's not fully over. Camilla. They see each other.
C
Yeah.
A
It's like, I'm sure that's not exactly what he. He just was stringing Sabrina along. You know, it's just like, sometimes caught himself in a situation and was like, yeah, it's. It's unfortunate. He did have to be the one hurting somebody in that scenario. And he was.
C
Yes. And I think. I don't think this is him saying he didn't do anything wrong. Yeah, I think he is, like, yeah, I. Is probably wrong.
A
Yeah.
C
And he's just acknowledging the fact, like, sometimes you're gonna get hurt. Sometimes you're. Sometimes you're gonna be the bad guy in someone else's story, and other times someone else is the bad guy in your story.
A
John Mayer could certainly relate.
C
And I think. Yeah. And I think John Mayer. If you're talking to anybody, John Mayer is gonna relate to that situation. But, yeah, like, I'm not. I'm not all like, fuck Shawn Mendes on this. Like, I think he pretty much was honest. Like, yeah, I was seeing someone and I had unresolved feelings, and I expressed that I was gonna go see my ex, and that hurt Sabrina, but that's how I felt.
A
And that's what he did selfishly, because it's music that's being written about it. It's like, you know, if that doesn't happen, we don't get a lot of those songs on Short and Sweet, and they are great.
C
And I'm always Team Sabrina.
A
Always.
C
Yeah, sorry, Sabrina. I'm always team Sabrina. I fucking love Sabrina Carpenter. Love her music. I think she's great. I think she just has that it factor as well. I think she just totally has it going. So I'm always team Sabrina. I think Sean's being kind of honest about the situation. I think he's like, listen, this is. This is what happened.
A
Sometimes when the. When the guy, like, actually just lays out how it went down, you're like, you can obviously be like, ooh, that sucks that he did that. But it's like he's saying what he did.
C
He's saying what he did, and he told her, I'm going to go, yeah, I'm going to go see her.
A
I'm going to go see her. Yeah.
C
So not the best, obviously. No.
A
Right.
C
Like, if you're Sabrina, you're like, what the fuck? Right? Like, being on the Sabrina side of it, you're like, oh, you piece of. If you had unresolute, unresolved feelings for your ex, why did you even enter?
A
Yep.
C
Entertain me, you piece of. And then for Sean, he's like, face.
A
Yeah, I'm late. I'm going to see her. Yeah.
C
And Sean on his end, he's probably like, I don't know.
A
I didn't know.
C
You know what I mean? Like, maybe. Maybe all the unresolved feelings came bubbling up and he didn't realize he still had them.
A
Yep. And that, I mean, they clearly both felt that way because they, like, got back together for that brief time. Sean and Camille. And then broke up again. Yeah.
C
They, like, made out of Coachella. And then it's like. And then everyone was like, oh, no, wait, what about Sabrina Carpenter?
A
Yeah.
C
And Sabrina's all like, fuck this guy. Which obviously we all stand with Sabrina on that as well. Fuck that guy. Right?
A
But, yeah, a conversation, a young love.
C
Yeah. A conversation between Shawn Mendes and John Mayer cracks me up.
A
Up. Yeah.
C
Because I feel like John Mayer's always sort of like, tried to act like a mentor to Shawn Mendes, but then sometimes I'm like, maybe he shouldn't be the. Or like, maybe John Mayer's like, don't do what I did.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
C
You know what I mean? Like, I think in that way, he's like. Because I remember on current mood.
A
I think he definitely does say that.
C
Yeah. When I. When I remember a current mood once where Shawn Mendes was on talking to John Mayer, and John kind of like asked Sean like, what's the worst you've done in a hotel room? And Sean was like, like, basically, he does not, like, trash his hotel rooms. He keeps them very clean, whatever. And John Mayer was like, oh, I've done some crazy to my hotel rooms. And it's like kind of like, don't do that. Like, don't be that. And I think John Mayer has a little bit more. Even though John Mayer does have the attitude of, I'm, you know, smarter.
A
Yeah.
C
I got my nose up in the air. I'm smarter than everybody. He also has the attitude of like, yeah, I was an. Don't do what I did.
A
Yeah.
C
There's some self awareness, funny line in.
B
That where he was like, like, yeah, no therapist is going to understand. Like, there's only so many people that would understand. Like seeing your ex on a giant billboard when you're driving down the highway, like, right.
C
Those are.
B
Some people can't connect with that.
C
So true. Those are not things. Obviously. Therapy is great for so many reasons. And it can help really, a lot of people in a circumstance where you're like, I'm a really famous singer, and my singer is plastered on a billboard writing a song about me, and I have to hear this song about me. What exactly is a therapist to say?
A
Yeah.
C
You know what I mean? Like, that is. That is a good point where it's like, eh, not really relatable situation.
A
Totally.
B
They don't teach that in therapy.
C
No, it's. I'm sure there's so many psychological things behind it that could maybe help in some way, but it's really a very rare, rare scenario to help somebody through. Last topic, Pete Davidson. He did an interview with W Magazine. I read this. I read this this weekend. And I found it interesting because he is doing this new, like, he's a, you know, a new sock company he's got going on. He's, like, going the Rob Kardashian route with this. And it seems like he really didn't love the attention that got brought with dating a bunch of famous women, which is bound to happen when you date a bunch of famous women. And he kind of got pegged as, like, the. He. He thinks in his eyes, like, he's like, I don't want to just be the loser who just dates. Who just.
A
I don't want to be this fucking loser who just dates people. That's not who I am.
C
Right. And I think that really got to him. And he kind of talked about how every couple years the Internet decides to just fucking rip apart a celebrity. Which is. Yeah, is true. And it's not every couple years, it's every day now. Yeah, but he said, like, the media just rips apart celebrities, and this is an everyday occurrence, more than it's ever been before. But he feels like he was one of those people that kind of just got ripped apart. And from, like, my. From our side of it, I think we always saw someone as. Pete Davidson is like, someone who, like, got propped up for, like, dating these women. We're like, oh, my God, Pete must be so cool. He's dating all these women. But on the other side of that, there was a lot of people tearing him down, being like, oh, he. He just dates people. What does he even do? Meanwhile, he is a comedian or it's.
A
Like people ripping apart his looks because of who he's dating.
B
Right, Right.
C
There's so many things that go into, like. Like being ripped apart. Like, some people might be like, oh, he's complaining about dating these women. He did get ripped. Right. Like. Like, you said his looks. Oh, how could he be dating this? Oh, he's a loser. Whatever. Not the case. He does have a great career. But he talked about how now, like, when he's seen. He really just wants it to be about, like, his comedy or a charity or a business venture or things that he's doing, which he is doing with this sock company now. And he talks a lot about, you know, his style, how it's changed over the years, how he used to be someone who wore, like, a lot of name brands, then those name brands became not cool because everybody wants to wear them and sort of like businesses. How if you have, you know, he was like. He talked about the certain shoe. It was a shoe that he talked about that came to him and he thought they were cool. And then the. The person of the company was like, yeah, they're gonna be a big hit. I gave them out to all these porn stars. And then Pete Davidson was like, I. He's kind of like, well, if you just gave them to Cristiano Ronaldo or Bad Bunny, like, one guy promoting the shoe, then people want that shoe. But if everybody has that shoe, then all of a sudden it becomes mainstream, and then people don't want that shoe anymore. Very. A kind of guy who seems like he wants to be, like, not what everyone else is wearing. And, you know, like, you know, he wants to be.
A
He got bit by the fashion bug. Yeah.
C
And now he wants to be like. Like, he's like. He was kind of talking about how, like, if. If something becomes mainstream and everybody wants it, you don't want to be that person. You want to be somebody who buys something just because they like it. Which, on one hand, I do agree with the point of, like, you should just buy something if you like it. Like, it does not. And we've talked about this before, it does not matter if something is in or not in. If you like something, you should buy it and you should wear it, and that's originality. But if something is mainstream and you think it's cool, you shouldn't stop yourself from buying it just because it's quote, unquote, mainstream.
A
Right.
C
You should also wear that as well if you want to. Like, you know.
A
Yeah, I agree. I totally agree. But yeah, was. It was an interesting back and forth because of, you know, fashion aspect. And now he's W magazine talking about fashion, doing this whole thing. But, yeah, the quote was, I got hit in the face with the Hollywood shovel. It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I'm very happy where I am at right now mentally. So that's good. Like, it's like, also it's like, seems like he's gone through all of that, that he's had to kind of make peace with that in his mind of everything that's happened these last few years. And now he's on this other side where he does want to be doing good work, business, movies, stand up, charity, like, helping people. So.
C
Yeah. And he did say, like, it made him take a step back and reevaluate his life. What's important to him? When you get hit in the head over saturated. Yeah. When you get hit in the head with that celebrity or Hollywood shovel, it's like, like, what's important here? Like, what everyone's saying or what do. What does Pete Davidson want to do with his life? Yeah. And I think it's pretty clear that Pete Davidson, although he's doing a public interview for W magazine and people are like, if you don't want to be known, why are you doing the interview? He did say he would be doing it if he was, you know, promoting, like, work. And he is promoting work in this aspect. So.
A
Yeah. And I think it's also like, there's a way to pick and choose what you do now in the sense of like, less is more, which is what he also said. He said, you know, when you're first coming up and getting all these offers, it's hard to say no because you're hungry. I made the mistake of doing literally everything. Now I'm older and wiser and I'm realizing. Realizing that less is more. Like Christian Bale, he does one movie every two, three years, but you go fucking see it. Leonardo DiCaprio does one movie every four years, but it's the biggest thing in the world.
B
Yeah. They're the two. Two of the greatest actors in the world.
A
But that's like the goal that you, like, if you're striving to be a. A movie star. Like, why not take a page out of the biggest stars?
C
And I.
B
And I don't know, I don't think everyone has that luxury of, like, they can do that because they're so in demand.
C
Yeah. I don't think Pete Davidson saying he's going to be the next Christian Baylor Leonard.
A
No, I think he was just. His point was you have to be missed.
C
Yes.
A
He said, he says it's because you miss them. People have to miss you.
C
Yes. And I actually agree with Pete because lately people have been like, where's Pete?
A
Yeah.
C
And he has done some things but it's not as much. So I, I do see what he's trying to say there. Like, he's not, you know, and clearly he's done well enough for himself where he can take a step back and not be having to go after every single thing. Like, he's clearly, you know.
A
Yeah.
C
Put himself in a position where he doesn't need to be doing everything that's thrown at him. So Pete Davidson, always an interesting guy and, yeah, we, you know, we miss Pete. What's going on with him? You read the whole interview because you want to know what's going on with him.
A
Yep, exactly. So hopefully, you know, we'll be seeing more of Pete, but in a less is more type scenario.
C
Yeah. I mean, he didn't sell me on the socks. I'll say that. Like, I wasn't. Like, I need to buy these socks after. But, you know, I'm glad he did the interview.
A
Right.
C
And that wraps up the topics.
A

A
Thank you guys so much.
B
The world's most refreshing podcast.
A
Yes.
C
Foreign. Let's get into the weekly Watch Report where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Boom. Watch the holiday. I haven't watched the holiday in years. Really? Yeah, I've talked.
A
Oh, yeah, you're right. You're right.
C
We just talked about it. I have seen the holiday, but I don't. Like, I'm not.
A
You know, we literally just talked about this.
C
I give the holiday. I'll give it an A minus. I'll give the holiday an A minus. Because there is a point in it where I'm like, it's a little too long, in my opinion, for a Christmas movie. But I do very much enjoy it. I will say, though, kind of absurd to give Cameron Diaz Jude Law and give Kate Winslet Jack Black, like, in terms of, you know.
A
Yeah, but that's.
C
No, no, it's the charm.
A
It's part of the story, you know.
C
But it just, it's a. It's a. It's a stark difference going from watching Jude Law to Jack Black.
A
That is. That is true.
C
That's my honest. No, yeah, no, yeah.
B
I'd rather hang out with Jack Black.
A
But it's like she goes from. She goes from the objectively handsome asshole to the charming, funny guy.
C
No, and Jack Black is very.
A
Whatever, because Jasper's the worst.
C
Right, but we're not. Jude Law isn't an asshole.
A
Oh, Jude Law.
C
Jude Law is a really stand, like a nice guy in this. So that's where it's like, he's funny, he's a nice guy. He's great looking. Like, he has all the aspects.
A
But, you know, you have to have it. Like, I feel like Jack Black is crucial to the story of, like, not being just an objectively.
C
Yeah, I'm not anti Jack Black.
A
No, I know, I know. I'm saying, like, if it's. If he, if it was like Jude Law and I can't even think of somebody else at this moment in time. The only person popping into my brain is Hugh Grant. But it wouldn't have been. It would not have been at the time. It actually could have been Hugh Grant, you know, like another. I'm trying to think American because he would have been an American in that setting. But yes, it's a.
C
It's a classic.
A
It is.
C
It is. It's a great movie. Give it an A minus.
A
Yeah.
C
I also rewatched Notting Hill.
A
Oh, Hugh Grant.
C
Also classic, obviously. Always give that an A. Love Island, Australia. Caught up. It's gone down for me a little bit. I'll give it a B right now. I'm. They're. They're starting to annoy me. Rather than like, wrote me in. I'm starting to get annoyed by them. Like, I think I'm.
A
I think I'm behind on a Couple episodes.
C
All right. Won't spoil them.
A
No.
C
But, like, I genuinely can't stand Zayn and Taylor.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, I really. I do not like that.
A
Like, sometimes there's people I watch through movie night.
C
Yeah. Sometimes there's people on reality shows where I'm like, you don't agree with them, but, like, you still like that. You know, it's not that you dislike them, you just don't agree with them. Them I straight up do not like. And that brings it down for me a little bit. I'll give it a B right now.
A
I didn't. I didn't like the whole movie night conversation at all either. Like, no, I didn't like, like what Dylan did.
C
Yeah.
A
All the guys laughing and like, like, she said. I was like, I didn't want to say those things, like, on tv. Like, and it felt like only afterward that Zayn tried to, like, save himself to be like, oh, like, it's. I should have thought that, like, it would be different for her than, like, just me. It's like, okay, now if you're trying to act like you have this evolved opinion, it's like, you didn't 4 hours ago when you. When you did this.
C
So, yeah, he just seems like a big dummy, and I really don't have time for him. That's. And Surviving Barstool. Oh, Surviving Barstool. That a. Yeah. You know, sometimes it's hard to talk about because we know what happens, but we also don't know what happens, if you know what I mean? Like, we know what happens, but we don't know what gets shown in what episodes or what's to come. Right.
A
There's no, like, next time.
B
Right.
A
Right.
C
There's no next time on this episode. It's just like, what's gonna happen on this episode? Even though we all know what happens. So. Yeah, just keep watching. Yep, keep watching. And if you haven't started watching yet, if you love reality tv, then you will love Surviving Barstool. Just a bunch of totally co workers fighting with each other. Really?
A
Totally. What did I watch? So I. I watched Sex Lives episode three. I think four is out now, but I've. I watched three, which. It's fine. I don't know.
B
I'm not on that show. I'm not gonna continue.
A
They're, you know, they're like, introducing a new girl. It's just like.
C
Right.
A
Like, no offense to the new girl, but it's just not the same. I'll give it a C. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I have not brought up at all. But I've been. New season just started. I'm on. I watched. I think I watched all of it. So I think there's four episodes out right now. So that. That has been good. That's been interesting. I don't know. There's been a lot of theories on, like, why Dory is, like, showing up. Like, she has, like. It's been like an aggressive.
C
I have to start it.
A
Yeah, it's been a. Like she's coming for Kyle hard. And they are. Have been having been having their issues, but I don't know, there's not really too much happening. The PK and Dorit stuff is obviously, like, the start of the season, but now they're just. They're trying to just get Kyle and Dorit like on the same page. So not really sure if that happens or not. I'll give it a B minus. It's good. I've been watching Roni still. I'm probably on episode like seven or eight. Somewhere in that. Somewhere in that range also. Fine. It's like. It's a C minus. Like, not. There was a really weird that I just was like, what is going on? But Rebecca Minkoff, who's new this season on the show, she and Aaron did, like, a pregnancy prank on the rest of the girls, trying to plant a seed that Rebecca was pregnant, but it was not her husband, baby, and like a whole scandal and like, whatever. And they thought it would be, like, funny to like, see where, like, like, if everybody finds out, it's like, who's. Who's the leak? Like, who's telling everybody? Just kind of weird, I thought, like, I don't know, like, especially with like, a pregnant, like, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. I started the new season of the Ultimatum on Netflix. Season three of the Ultimatum.
C
Is it good? I've seen people talking about it.
A
It's interesting. It's interesting because it's a different type of season because. And this isn't really a spoiler, but once everybody. All the couples all, like, re coupled and they're in their faux marriages with the other people, but at a point early on in that two of the original couples just pack their bags and fucking leave and there's no conversation, there's no nothing. They get their stuff and, like, leave in the middle of the night. Like, it's like bags packed and they're gone. So because they did that, it left some of the original people without a pair. So, like, say. Say, like, I'll just use it as Nick and Brittany go into it's actually funny. There is a Nick and Vanessa and Nick and Vanessa host, but it's like Nick and I mean they do live, so it's fine. But like Nick and Vanessa, they are paired up with new people. They leave. Well, one guy now doesn't have a partner and his original girlfriend is still with her new guy. So now this guy is just alone and he has to go through the whole process of the rest of the weeks of this fake marriage with his girlfriend. Cuz, you know, with a new guy and he's just sitting on his ass alone in his room, like losing his mind.
C
Yeah.
A
So that's kind of an interesting dynamic that hasn't happened before where like the people leave and then these other people just have to go through the process. Like alone. Pretty much. But I don't know, nobody's really like that likable besides like two or three people. One girl looks just like. What was her name? Jess. Love is blind. Then she went on the Perfect Match with Harry Jowsey. They like look exactly the same. It's like, yes, but it's. I'm still watching it. The Ultimatum is just a fucking wild show. I'm like, why? Every time I watch, I'm like, what are. Why do couples do this show? I just could not wrap my. Wrap my brain around it. Like couples that have been together for years have like lived together and like have a full ass life together.
C
It's like, clearly you don't want to be together, so just end it right.
A
Like, I don't know, crazy. I'll give that a B. Minus. Love Island, Australia. I'm only just through. Like the part two of Movie Night was the last episode I watched. I'll give it a B. And Lioness. I watched the second season we started. I don't know if I graded it, but I'm up to episode four of Lioness in season two. It is very good. I think it's a fantastic show. I'll give that an A. And the holiday was my. Was my holiday rewatch. Do it every year. It never fails. The Holiday is a solid A for me every time. And that's. That's my list.
C
Solid.
A
Oh, I started no Good Deed on Netflix. I forgot that. But I started it multiple times because every time I pressed Play I had a few drinks and one night I completely fell asleep. Had to rewatch it, tried to rewatch it again. I've watched the first episode. It's the new Netflix show with Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano. Big ensemble cast. They're like, trying to sell their. Their house. And it's like all prospective buyers of the house. And it was. It's created by the same woman who did Dead to Me. Oh, yeah.
C
Okay. I'm interested.
A
So I like the first episode. I thought it was. I'm. I'm intrigued. So episode one, I'll give a B. Like, it was, you know, couple laughs. It's like a 30 minute type show kind of vibe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. That's everything.
B
Okay. I have a couple left over from last week since I wasn't here, but I watched the whole Madness show on Netflix. I don't know if you've seen that pop up. It's called Madness. It's with Coleman Domingo. He was in Euphoria. He's the main character. And it's like a thriller. Just one season. I just finished the whole season. It was like, entertaining and it was like a good, like, easy watch. Especially when I was like, sick. But it wasn't like, I won't blow you away or anything. I'd say it's a solid, like, C plus.
A
Yeah.
B
But exciting. Watch Shrinking. I watched like the last three episodes.
A
Oh, shit. I finished shrinking.
B
Totally forgot about the finale.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The two episodes before this finale I really liked.
A
Yes.
B
This past. The most recent one I was like, not as impressed by, but I'd say like B overall.
A
Yeah.
B
I thought it got like, really.
A
I would give the same over, like.
B
It got like, like, really emotional for like a couple episodes there.
A
Yeah, yeah. And it's. I still, still did.
B
I also just realized that what's his face from Ted Lasso, like, is a creator of the show.
A
Yeah.
B
I didn't realize. I was just like, oh, he's just randomly in this.
A
No, no, no, no. He's. He's in the mix. I did love the finale that they threw. God, I always forget what her real name is, but. Robin, How I met your mother.
B
Oh, I never watched How I met.
A
Oh, you wouldn't even recognize the girl. The woman that sells him the car for. Did you watch the last episode?
B
I did. I'm gonna say I was in and out in the last episode because I. I wasn't like, loving it.
A
But he.
C
Oh, the car.
A
It's her birthday. He buys her the yellow car. The woman who sells him the car.
B
Yeah, I do like that. That's.
A
She's from How I met your mother.
B
Yeah. No, I didn't.
A
And you know, so is he, so.
B
Oh, I didn't even think about that, honestly. Well, I've Never seen How I met your mother. I knew that.
A
Yeah, but I mean, you would recognize the characters. You know, Neil Patrick Harris and.
B
No, no, I know, but I wasn't like, oh, my God, how I met your mother reunion. Well, I did, but, yeah, I'll give it a B plus. And I watched the. The new Clint Eastwood movie, Jer number two. Have you heard about that? Very good. It's on Apple tv or I rented on Apple tv, but a ton of good actors in that movie. And it's crazy. He's 94 and still, like, pumping out, like, really good movies. Like, I'm sure this will be, like, in award season. Zoe Deutsch is really good. She was in it, so. Yeah, I'll give that an A minus thought. That was really good. What's his name? Is the main character my guy? Nicholas Holt? He's.
A
Oh, I love Nicholas Holt.
B
Yeah, he's the main character.
A
That's where I want to see the new. Other new one that he's in that's coming out soon is Nosferatu.
B
Oh, yeah. Everyone's talking about that.
A
Yeah.
B
I watched a tunnel of Island. I caught up. So I'm fully caught up, at least on Hulu. I don't know. Like. And also I'm annoyed because I looked up one of the girls on Instagram. Not. And I. It spoiled it for me.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
Because I didn't realize how far behind the Hulu.
A
Yeah, it's like, a couple weeks.
B
Yeah.
A
At least a week, maybe two.
B
I'll give it like, a B. That if I had rated it before, like, the last bunch of episodes I watched, it would have been higher. But yeah, like, after the movie night, everything. It's kind of gone downhill.
A
It's. After. It's like, almost over. Is it love they. Unless they magically added more episodes. Love Island. Australia is always, like. Like 27 to 30 episodes.
B
Yeah.
A
For, like, the whole season. Because I was looking at Hulu the other day just to see, like, the other past seasons, how many there are. And that's like, kind of the average.
B
You know, I like Mimi. That's pretty much it.
C
Like.
B
Like, I can't stress how much I hate Hannah. She sucks.
A
Yeah, I know everything about it. I'm starting to lose me a little bit too, sadly. So.
B
Yeah, like, there's not that many likable people in this.
A
No season. Like, no.
B
Hannah just, like, makes these, like, facial expressions like that just, like, infuriate me because she's just. I don't know. Like, she. I think she, like, enjoys being Like a bad person.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. And same with, like, Taylor and.
A
Yeah.
B
Zane Surviving Barcelona. Plus, I watched a new movie, Carry on, on Netflix, Taron Edgarton. Just like, a really fun.
A
Yeah. Carson.
B
Yeah. Just a fun movie.
A
It's like Jason Bateman, right?
B
Jason. It's completely ridiculous.
A
I want to watch it.
B
You just have to, like, put your mind.
A
Yeah.
B
Because it's the most, like, absurd. Like, it's in an airport, and the things that are happening are just.
A
I watched a trailer. Yeah.
B
But it's, like, really fun. Like, I saw someone saying, like, it's just like, die Hard in an airport.
A
Like. Right.
B
Like, it's. It's just like, a really fun watch. And it's like, well done. And honestly, Taron Egerton, I'm like, anything he does. I'm like, like, I like same.
A
That's. I mean, I feel about. I feel that way about the whole cast, so I'm like, I'm gonna.
B
You know, it got, like, really good reviews, and I'll give it, like, a B. Like, I was Maybe gave it, like. And it's also, like, it's set during Christmas. I honestly, like, if it wasn't for, like, I. I just have to take it down from an A minus because of, like, how absurd it all is. Right, right, right, right. But it is just fun. And then I just started this show on Netflix last night. I watched the first three episodes. Black Doves. It's the. Kieran Knightley.
A
Yeah, I've heard.
B
Really good.
A
Really good. I.
B
Really good.
A
Yeah. Like, she got nominated for that.
B
Did she? Yeah, I'm, like, really excited to.
A
Golden Globes.
B
I think there's only six total episodes.
A
Yeah.
B
Three left.
A
It's like a. It's a British limited series.
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, really? So it's not like. So it's just it.
A
I think so. Like, I think it's.
B
Yeah, it's really good and, like, funny, too. Like, it kind of reminds me, give Mr. And Mrs. Smith, like, a tiny bit like they're all spies.
A
No, I really want to watch that also.
B
Yeah.
C
I think it's been a while since seeing Kira Knightley and Tumbling.
B
Yeah. Yeah, she's great. I'll give that an A minus.
A
Solid.
B
That's all I got.
C
That's a good list. Some good recommend recommendations on that one.
A
I know we're getting. We're getting into that. Into that time where people are looking for something.
C
Yeah. There's a lot of things on your list I want to watch.
A
Take a bite out of first during their holiday break, for sure.
