It's chicks in the office with Rhiann Fran. Giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. We are officially back. Sorry for the week off, everybody. We know you missed us, but we are back and we missed you. How are we feeling, everybody? Fran, Noah, we were on a very exciting trip to Singapore and we have returned to our rightful studio. So how are we feeling back in.

[Fran]

Back in New York. Came home to two full days of rain, which was nice on Sunday, not so nice today. You know, it's nice for one day, not so nice the second day, but good. I mean it's a massive time change when you go to that part of the world. So being there was a tough adjustment. And then like right as we probably felt like we were getting a little more comfortable, we came right back and now, now I'm just. My body doesn't know when it's morning, when it's night. And that is. That is a little tricky.

[Rhea]

Yeah, we're getting back into the swing of things. We're gonna make it happen this week. But let's start off talking about the trip. We have a ton that we're gonn for this episode. Don't worry. We are going to review the life of a showgirl. We're going to be talking about the eras tour documentary that was announced today. We have a ton of other topics. We got Weekly Watch report. We're gonna get into it all on today's episode. We're covering everything that we missed, but we want to talk about Love is blind. Gotta talk about love is blind. Wow. We watched it all. We are caught up. Weekly Watch report is going to be stacked, but we want to talk about our trip first. So, you know, if. If you may not know, we went to Singapore last week, you know, you may have missed that announcement and missed why we were off last week, but we were invited by the Singapore board of tourism to come to Singapore because Noah's 30 before 30 list is done. It's done and it's included, you know, going to a new country that he's never been before. And boom, we were invited because of that. His birthday is this Wednesday and he has completed the list. This was the final thing. So, Noah, how are you feeling?

[Noah]

I feel great. You know, I'm glad that I completed the list. I think early on, like, a lot of my friends were like, there's zero chance you're ever gonna complete this. And honestly, for a while, I was, like, doubtful that I would do it, but it honestly worked out perfectly. Like, this was the perfect way to end it. I think I always wanted to just kind of celebrate it in the new country and then it's like, it's over.

[Rhea]

And let me tell you, you were celebrated in sing.

[Noah]

I posted on my story at one point, like, no one has ever wished me a happy birthday as much as the country Singapore. And that is very true. Everywhere we went, it was just like, oh, my God, Happy birthday. Restaurants singing it, whatever we were doing, they had something for my birthday and.

[Fran]

It'S somehow still not his birthday.

[Noah]

And it's still not my birthday.

[Rhea]

It's still not your birthday. But you were the man of the hour. You were the man of the week. You were man of the country of Singapore at one point.

[Noah]

What is Singapore doing now with that?

[Rhea]

I don't know. I don't know how they're gonna go on without you. But we were in the airport leaving, and Noah looked at Me and he was like, imagine over the intercom. They were like, and we want to wish one more Happy birthday to Mr. Noah.

[Fran]

I quick send off.

[Rhea]

But it was, it was really cool.

[Noah]

And just started talking with the flight. The 19 hour flight.

[Rhea]

Yeah, we should start off honestly from the beginning because we did have that 19 hour flight from Newark to Singapore. Technically the longest flight in the world is jfk Singapore minutes by like. Yes. But Newark is right up there. I think it's a toss up, you know, depending what route you get right when you're in, how the wind is exactly. It's depending on all variables when you're up there. But this was about 18 and a half hours. And I talked about being a little bit nervous for this just because it's like you're on a plane for 18, 19 hours and there's no way out. And that kind of worried me. Yeah, I fucking rocked this flight. Like, I was like, oh my God, this is fantastic. I was excited to get back onto the flight home because of how much I enjoyed that flight. Now granted, we were given business class by the board of tourism, Singapore Singapore Airlines. And so that makes a humongous difference. Okay. Like you cannot go without saying how big of a difference that makes because they are waiting on you hand and foot and they are giving Noah 19 sodas. You know, like it's it. No joke. This man, he.

[Noah]

We were all sitting next to each other. It was me, then Fran and Rhea.

[Rhea]

This was assigned seating, by the way. We stuck because when we posted a video or picture of how we were seated, the amount of replies I got that people were like the. Fran being in the middle of you two, like for some reason shocked everybody. That's what everyone was replying. And I would. I don't think it's rude. I think people think that just like you, you know, they think that me and Noah are going to be like, you know, fucking around, like being silly and you're going to have to like put us, you know, time out sort of thing.

[Noah]

But not that we could. Like really.

[Fran]

No, there's not much.

[Rhea]

No, I mean, listen, where I'm not going to cause a ruckus on the flight. I kind of want to just lay there anyway. But that was assigned seating and I thought it was perfect.

[Fran]

Yeah. Also it's like we were in our own little pods and Noah was across the aisle so I couldn't even see him.

[Rhea]

Yeah, I think so.

[Fran]

He couldn't even really see us either. Unless he was like fully leaned up into his chair and over you know.

[Rhea]

I think that the way that the picture looked, looked like we were genuinely three in a row and that there was no aisle in between and that you were just. That would. If it was three pods like that, I don't even know how that would work. How would you go to the bathroom? Like, that would. You'd be kind of. For 19 hours. That would be.

[Noah]

Crawl over.

[Rhea]

Yeah, that would be very hard to.

[Fran]

Be some other setup there, for sure.

[Rhea]

I thought we all rocked that flight. You know, we.

[Fran]

I enjoy. Very much enjoyed it. I. I think, like, just give me my own little space. My own little space with my. With my devices, like a toddler with my devices and my snacks and I'm good to go.

[Rhea]

Yeah, I'm good to go.

[Noah]

We also, like, it was a football Sunday, so that actually helped a lot.

[Fran]

Yeah, it did help a lot.

[Noah]

They have live tv so you can watch the football games.

That was helpful. Lots of good movies. Food was fantastic.

I had salmon. There was steak. It was all fantastic. And you're right, time flew by because we had tons of entertainment, you know, had our iPads, had the TV that they had with their movies. Everything we downloaded it kind of just slight attendance.

[Noah]

Took so much care of us.

They did.

Specifically one.

[Rhea]

Specifically you as well.

[Noah]

When I told her about my nut allergy, she was checking on me.

[Rhea]

As they should. Yeah.

[Noah]

Which was great.

On the way there, like, when it was time to land and everyone has to, you know, fix their. Their seats up and everything, I. Noah. No one's been more asleep than Noah I've ever seen in my entire life. Like, the poor woman was shaking him, trying to wake him up, and then. And he wouldn't wake up. And then I was. I was like. I mean, I'll take a whack at it. So, like, I started shaking him. He's not. I took my squishmallow. I'm hitting him. I'm hitting him, trying to wake him up. Nothing. Nothing. He's dead.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

I had to, like, ferociously shake him to wake him.

[Rhea]

Solid as a rock. Dead asleep. Which makes sense, you know, because you were up.

[Noah]

I was up all before that.

[Fran]

Yeah. You. You didn't sleep much on the way there.

[Rhea]

I mean, you had so much caffeine with all the sodas.

[Noah]

I never really factored that into the. When I was drinking the sodas, by the way. Like, people were asking, like, what. Why was the soda so good? Like, I don't know. And honestly, the way Back. It wasn't the same. Like, it was something about.

[Rhea]

Maybe it was the excitement going there, that probably.

[Noah]

But I swear to God, like, well, you.

[Rhea]

Tasted the same to me on the way home.

[Fran]

Like, I. I think that it tastes a little. Actually did taste different on the way there.

[Rhea]

Well, I just think we were farther.

[Fran]

Back this time, so, like, they're stocking the planes in different countries, so you might be getting different.

[Noah]

Oh, that makes sense. Yeah.

[Rhea]

You know, you never know, but you were loving it.

[Noah]

But also, like, I think on the way back was more chill. Like, if we wanted something, we could ask them. But the way there was, like, if they kept coming by being like, do you want another? And I'm like, yeah, yeah. Like, you want another wine? Sure, I'll take another wine. Another Diet Coke?

[Rhea]

Yeah, yeah. They were. It was great. There was. The service was phenomenal. So we started off great on the flight there, and then we landed and immediately went to the night safari at the Singapore Zoo, which was very cool.

[Fran]

Very cool.

[Rhea]

We fed rhinos, we fed elephants. I was laughing because we posted pictures kind of right when we got there, and people were like, what are those animals? And I was like, they're rhinos.

[Fran]

Yep. Yeah.

[Noah]

People weren't sure what that animal was.

[Rhea]

Yeah. And they thought it was AI. Like the picture. Because the rhino literally was smiling in the picture with us. And they were like, is this AI? Like, no.

[Noah]

In the moment, I was also thinking.

[Fran]

Like, I think a lot of people are not as familiar with the Asian rhinos as they are with the African.

[Noah]

Rhinos, you know, And I feel, like, different. Rightfully so. People are like, wait, rhinos? You can, like, just feed rhinos like that. Like, I never thought you could do. Like, I thought they were pretty vicious animals, but they were pretty chill.

[Fran]

Yeah, well, yeah, they're in the zoo.

[Rhea]

In a zoo, so they were chill.

[Fran]

I don't really know if we'd be walking.

[Noah]

No, No. I wouldn't be like.

[Rhea]

No.

[Noah]

In the jungle doing that.

[Rhea]

No. Elephants were sick.

[Fran]

Yeah, they were really.

[Rhea]

We were feeding the elephants, which was so cool and beautiful. Just beautiful creatures.

[Fran]

Some gorgeous animals, too. Like what? Like that white tiger I've never seen. You know, it was really cool, something that. I think they said that. What were they, the first night safari ever?

[Rhea]

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[Noah]

That was really. It's just something about it being nighttime. It's just, like, way more peaceful.

[Rhea]

It was.

[Fran]

It is very smart, too, because it's. You know, you always feel like people go and do those activities in the daytime and the animals are sleeping because that's their time to sleep during the day and then at night they're awake.

[Rhea]

There was a nice breeze at night. Oh, yeah, it was beautiful.

[Fran]

Yep, yep.

[Rhea]

And then that was.

[Fran]

That was very cool.

[Rhea]

Right? That was the first night that we went right into the second day, which was the food tour, the hawker centers, the food tour. And we had this wonderful guide, Eldrick, who was very passionate about what he did. And so we learned so much about Singapore. We learned so much about the food. And, and the food was delicious.

[Fran]

Really good.

[Noah]

Chinatown.

[Rhea]

Yes. We walked through the. The markets. Chinatown. We saw little India, which was all very, very cool.

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah. The food was fantastic. It just was cool to get that set up and have someone kind of like pick and choose because there's so many an overwhelming amount of options when you go in. Even just the one in. Just the hawker center in Chinatown that we went to had like hundred, two hundred something stalls.

[Rhea]

Right.

[Fran]

So it's just.

[Noah]

It's just these are like, some of these are like Michelin star street markets.

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they are really, really, really good.

[Noah]

We were being quizzed on what the food was.

[Rhea]

We were. That was. Yeah, that was tough.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

Because we were really hungry and we wanted to just eat the food, but.

[Noah]

And we were all like, we were.

[Rhea]

Being quizzed a lot and we couldn't answer. We had just gotten off our flight and. And there was a lot of questions of what we were tasting in the food and we didn't, you know, want to be wrong. We want to answer.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

There's a lot of quizzing going on.

[Fran]

It was also, like, at a certain point, we just don't know.

[Rhea]

Right.

[Fran]

You know, like, tell us the answer. You know when somebody is asking you a question and they really want you to guess.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

And you're like, look, that was my one guess. And when you. So when someone's like, okay, what else? I'm like, I don't have anything else. Right. That was my one guess. Obviously it's wrong. Like, obviously it's wrong. So what's this?

[Rhea]

It's like when someone's like, I'll give you three guesses and you. And you guess the three guesses and they're like, okay, I'll give you one more. No, no, no, I gave my three.

[Fran]

Those are my guesses. Now just tell me what the answer is, because I don't know.

[Rhea]

At that point, we were really hungry and we were like, just. Just tell us the answer and give us the food. We are really hungry. But we did learn A lot. So, yeah, that was a plus side to that. And then after that, we had a cheese. Yeah. Oh, man. As if I'm the only one in the group that got something wrong.

[Fran]

That was. That was only. It was only because of his reaction that that was so funny, which made.

[Rhea]

Me not want to answer anything anymore. You know, like, you know, when you're. I felt like I was back in school. Like, you know, when you're get asking questions and in your head, you say the right answer, but you're afraid to answer because you don't want it to be wrong. Yeah. And then they say the answer and you're like, oh, that was what I was thinking, but I was afraid to be wrong. And then finally you give an answer and it's the wrong answer and they laugh in your face like he did to me. Yes. Then. Then it goes back to being in school, being afraid to raise your hand and answer the question. You know, I was like. I said cheese, and there was no cheese. And whatever we were eating. And he laughed so hard.

[Fran]

So hard. He went, cheese.

[Rhea]

He's like, oh, my God, you said cheese.

[Noah]

Get a lot of this.

[Rhea]

Well, there goes my guesses.

[Fran]

Oh, man.

[Noah]

There were a lot of stuff that I couldn't eat, by the way. People were like.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Noah]

Worrying on my behalf about the peanuts, where there was like a lot of peanuts on the table. But I had my EpiPen.

[Rhea]

And yes, you were very safe and.

[Fran]

And you were warned of, like, don't go nearest, don't go near.

[Noah]

The thing is, it's like in that type of environment, there's a part of me that's like, something could have slipped in. You never know, like. So luckily I survived.

[Rhea]

Yes. Thank God. But everyone was very cautious about your allergy, which was very nice because there is a lot of peanuts involved. Then after that, we had another tour that same night. That was a bar crawl.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

And we were not sure what to expect with this bar call, but it was fantastic.

[Noah]

We were.

[Rhea]

We had a lovely guide, Jasmine, who took us to all these cool bars. We went to one bar called Native. Like, everything's made in house and different drinks and combinations that is not done anywhere else. I had a pink guava wine that was just fantastic. You guys had cocktails that were amazing.

Cocktail was delicious.

And it was so cool to go to all these bars. And then we ended.

[Noah]

One of them was top 50 in the world.

Yeah. Jigger and Pony we went to, which was really cool. And it was. And it made the list again.

It was. We had an old fashioned fashion. It was, it was gorgeous. And then we ended up with making our own drinks.

It was, it was really delicious. It was. I wasn't sure what to expect because we were making it. You know when you like see everything going into your drink and you're like, I don't know how all this is going to turn out together, but it was delightful.

Yeah. Very like punch, punchy, punch forward.

Yes, yes. You know, that is true.

Like not obviously not made with gin. So that makes it a little more floral, but it was cool.

We were in the back room of the bar and the owner of the bar was there and then the like people who. One of the guys who created the gin was there.

So learned a lot about the gin. Singaporean gin.

[Rhea]

Yeah, we did learn a lot. Yep.

[Noah]

And.

And then, and then the owner recognized me.

[Noah]

Like we were there probably like 30 something minutes by that point. Maybe even more.

And I think he asked, he's like, so what do you guys do? And then we said something that triggered.

All of a sudden he started freaking out. He was like, surviving barstool. He was like, I knew it. When you walked in. You look familiar. I surviving Barcelona, Rhea. He was going crazy. Yeah.

[Noah]

We're getting champagne. Yeah.

[Fran]

He was like, let's celebrate the whole show. He's like, you won.

[Rhea]

He was like, you won. Your speech was gangster. You told everybody, all of you. I played you. I played this game. I was like, oh my God. You know, Exactly.

He was like, you just got married.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

He was like, you just got married.

He showed us like, he's like, look at my phone. Like it's all bar.

Which was so funny. He knew like everything about everybody here.

Hired him because he was fast? I was like, yes, that did happen. That did happen. And then all of a sudden he. He brought out bottles of champagne. So we sat on the roof, we had a Couple bottles of champagne.

Yeah, it was lovely.

Smoked a couple cigarettes, which.

[Noah]

I wish we smoked more cigarettes while we were there, to be honest.

[Rhea]

No, I feel like that was the right amount of. Of, you know, we had one. Me and Noah shared one to be.

I know when you said that, because I was like, yeah. And you're like, we could share one.

[Rhea]

I'm like, you should just ask for your own and just had your own.

[Noah]

I know, but I was like, yeah, I'm not going to.

[Rhea]

I just wasn't going to finish a full. Like, I wasn't going to have a full one. So I was like, oh, whatever. But that was cool. That was a fun day.

That was the, like, drunkest, I would say, like, we got on the trip.

That night. Or at least I can speak for myself.

We went back in, like, I kind.

Of had a slight service.

Stayed up late, and we're giggling. But I also felt fine the next morning, which was nice, too, because I feel like it was a lot of.

You know, in our drinks and stuff. Because, like, even, like the. The bar crawl was like, all the drinks were so good.

And he was saying, like, when we were making the drinks, like, people get hungover because of all the sugars that are in alcohol. They're like, they don't have that. So.

Yeah.

[Fran]

Yeah. Which was very nice.

[Rhea]

That was a fun night. That was an unexpected night.

But also, Jasmine was just the best.

Jasmine was sick. Yeah, Jasmine. I also appreciated Jasmine, who was our tour guide that night, did not leave us at the bar and made sure we got home. Like, she took us home in her own car.

Yeah. She was like, I'm not leaving you guys. And I really appreciated that because, you know, we're in a place we've never been before with people we don't know. And she was like, I'm gonna take care of you guys, which was very, very nice. And then we, you know, the days all started to blend together after that night.

Yeah, we went to the spa. We had. We did sometime in the infrared sauna with the cold plunge, which is something that we've all never done before. Have you done a cold plunge? No, no, no.

[Noah]

It didn't look like I've done a cold plunge.

[Fran]

No, it sure didn't. It sure didn't. That was. May have been the hardest. I laughed the entire.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

The entire time, Noah, trying to get into the cold plunge.

Well, you sit in the sauna for like 30 something minutes and you're like, so hot.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Noah]

So I just feel like that. Contrast.

Yeah, that is. That is literally what it's called. But so we all. We all did that for the first time. I think we. I think we all crushed it, enjoyed that. And then we had massages. That was just lovely.

Right? I fucking loved the cold plunge. I loved it. Like, last night, I went in the sauna at my apartment, and I was like, there's no cold plunge. You know? I know. I was like, man, I would love to just stick my body into a cold plunge right now. Like, after it, I was a whole. You know, it's like, you're like, whoa, I'm awake.

Like, it was.

I loved it. I loved the feeling. Getting in hard. Obviously, like, not an easy thing.

But you just tell yourself it's mind over matter. Your body can do a lot more than you think it can. And when you get over that hump, then you're in there and you got it. But the massages were lovely.

That was another. They had a happy birthday.

We walked this. We walked past this. This Pug Cafe on the night before when we were on the. The drinks tour. And I was like, what is that?

[Rhea]

But what. The Pug Cafe looked it up. Oh, my. Said, oh, my God.

This just a cafe full of pugs.

[Rhea]

Really?

[Fran]

Just a room full of pugs. You just go and sit in a room and play with pugs for an hour. And I was like, after the next morning, I was like, you know, we do have some time in between now. Feel like I could sneak in a trip to the Pug Cafe. Noah said he would come with me. I was like, all right, we're going to the Pug Cafe now. It was booked for us, which was very funny because it was so. It was under someone else's name. Name. So the guy just, like, when I walked in, I was like, oh. I said the girl's name who booked it. And he was like, oh.

So he just.

[Fran]

The guy just called me Marissa for the entire time I was in there. And I just. I just did not correct him. Like, at that point, once you let.

[Noah]

It Go, like, one time. You just have to commit to it.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

And it was also, like. I just didn't think he'd be calling me by name so many times when we were in there. He wasn't really.

[Noah]

He didn't know what anyone else.

He didn't really. He didn't do it to anybody else, but he just. He, like, kept saying things like making jokes and being like, right, Marissa. Yep, that's me. And it was very, very funny. They pugs of all ages, ready to go. You get to go and you take a picture with the paws. Play with the pugs, Feed the pugs. Yeah. All shapes and sizes, some fatter than others. I've never seen some pugs as fat as the pugs that were in here. They're living a good life, but it's because people come in, and then each time people come in, they get little treats. So people give them treats. I'm like, these pugs are eating good. But this guy, a fascinating man who.

Owned this place, he had 10 pugs.

[Fran]

Ted, bugs, and then three Dalmatians.

[Noah]

He said all 10 pugs sleep in the bed with him every night.

[Rhea]

And him and his partner, they are loved.

[Fran]

Yeah, Very well loved. And, yeah, the whole thing was just very interesting. Other, you know, pug cafes that have opened in other parts of the world.

[Noah]

He said, we're the second in the world.

[Fran]

Yeah. Yeah. So that was.

[Noah]

There was a point where he. He was at one point, like, very early on, he's like, are you. He looked at me, he's like, are you a bad boy? And I'm like, I don't think so. He's like, I'm gonna, like, get all the pugs. He was joking. And then he goes, okay, everyone. And he, like, hands out treats. And then he's like, five, four, three, like, start screaming. All the pugs just, like, run at you.

[Rhea]

Because you have the, like.

[Fran]

There's like, one certain treat that they all really love. Just, like, lets you hold it, and then they just all run at you.

[Noah]

And then he basically makes every person there choose. He's like, pick your pug. And then you pick whatever pug you want. And you get a photo, like a Polaroid type thing. And yeah.

[Fran]

Yes, I'll save. I'll have that memory forever. And I have it. I have the little. It's a little paper, you know, little card that has our pictures in it.

[Rhea]

And didn't cherish that forever.

[Fran]

Yeah, we really can. It was fantastic. I did not, like. It was exactly what I had kind of anticipated. And it was. It was very.

[Noah]

I, I In my mind when I said, yeah, I'll go. I'm happy with how it turned out. But I was picturing, like, a real cafe where, like.

[Rhea]

Yeah, yeah, there are pugs kind of.

[Noah]

Just like hanging out. But this was just like, sit on the ground and play with pugs.

[Rhea]

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And then because it said, like, you get a drink, and I'm like, oh, alcoholic drink. You just get like a soda on the way out.

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. But no, yeah. I think other ones in other parts of the world are obviously, like, different or different animals. You know, there's like, bunch of cat cafes and things like that too. But this was. That was very, very funny. And then we went back and we did the whole. At Gardens by the Bay, which is stunning. I think a lot of people recognize that the most as a big, you know, Singapore landmark attraction.

[Rhea]

That was really cool. So it's like they had the Flower Dome, the Cloud Dome. They had a Jurassic park exhibit in the Cloud Dome, which was cool of just, you know, seeing these very lifelike robotic dinosaurs moving around in the mist and the waterfall. And the Flower Dome had an exhibit for Switzerland. Yes. Which. Catching the end of the begonias, which was really cute. And it was really, really pretty inside. Really. Like, I thought it was really nice to walk around and do that. And then they have, obviously the giant trees. They do a light show at night with some music and lights, and people are all sitting on the ground looking up and watching them.

[Rhea]

And we had dinner up on the Marina Bay Sands iconic hotel building. I think everybody has recognized that if you see crazy rich Asians, they had the big event up there. We went to Salavi. Delicious dinner, Beautiful views. There was thunderstorm. Thunderstorming with Josh, which was really cool because you could, like, see the lightning strikes.

And then actually we took a picture, the three of us at dinner, and we, like, stood up, and all the other tables were looking at us after that. The morning and afternoon off from doing like an attraction or anything excursion. We were kind of just like, let's explore on our own time. And I'm kind of blanking.

Do you want to talk about your fascination with every 7 11?

[Rhea]

Oh, my God. I. Well, I guess that leads into.

Yeah, it does take us to the incident. But you really do have to start it off with all the seven elevens.

[Rhea]

Right.

[Fran]

So there wasn't a seven eleven that you didn't like. If you saw it, you. I went off.

[Rhea]

Yeah. So I don't know if anybody else has been on this side of the Internet where the 7 11s in Asia are talked about and reviewed because people love them so much. Like, it's such a big thing. They're like, you got to go to the seven elevens in Asia. They're amazing. They have amazing food, snacks, and drinks. It's in a whole thing. So for years now, I have always wanted to go to a 711 in Asia because I, I've wanted to experience these snacks and drinks. I've watched so many reviews.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

Of people tasting these things. And I thought, I'll never get to do this. And so when we were invited to Singapore, I was like, oh my God, I'll get to go into 711 and try these snacks and drinks. So I took it upon myself to kind of scout out the 7 11s. I, I one morning walked around by myself, going into every 711 that I passed to see if they had the snacks and drinks that I wanted to try. And the one closest to our hotel actually had the most. I was like, wow, how convenient. They have all the things that I want besides one thing. The ice cream that we ended up having at the airport, which was very cool. So I was doing a little tour myself of all these seven elevens. We went to Orchard Road and I went into every 711 there and, and the malls there and the malls and were gorgeous. We're gorgeous. Gorgeous. And obviously I paid a lot of attention to that. But, but my sights were set on the 711 sites.

[Fran]

Well, that's like, what was the funniest thing too. We're walking through some of like, the most luxurious malls I've ever been to in my life. And like, these stunning, like, food courts and like all these restaurants and like, and we're, you know, we're walking, we're having a nice time. But it took being on the sidewalk and you seeing a 7 oven for your face to light up.

[Rhea]

I, I just, it made me so giddy. I was like, I've seen so many videos, you know, like, I've seen so many reviews. I want to do one of my own.

[Noah]

I just couldn't get over the fact that you, you would go into all these seven elevens and then be like, no, no, it's not time yet. And like, walk out.

[Rhea]

Well, I was scouting them, you know, I wanted to make sure that I.

[Noah]

Could find a better one.

[Rhea]

Going to the right 711 with all the right things, you know. So it was part of my own journey that I was taking. You know, I, I didn't force it upon you guys. I said, this is my own thing. You guys don't gotta be a part of it. Right? So that day after Orchard Road, which we did go into some gorgeous malls that are very tempting. You're going into all these, these luxury stores and you want to buy everything. You know, you're like, oh, my God. This is all gorgeous.

[Fran]

Really.

[Rhea]

They're stunning. But we left, and everyone was really hungry because we hadn't eaten yet.

[Noah]

And you did do the milk thing at that 7:11.

[Rhea]

Yeah, we did the milk. We did the coffee with the flavored milk, and people were like, like, can't you just do this in the US.

[Noah]

When I had it, I was kind of like, you know, but there's tastes like, right?

[Fran]

Coffee with strawberry milk.

[Rhea]

But there's a certain milk, though, that people talk about, like, the brand of the milk, and I'm gonna butcher the pronunciation, but there's a certain brand of milk that people talk about, which we did try. So after we were headed back to the hotel, you guys were like, we're just gonna go into the. The hotel restaurant and eat lunch.

[Fran]

And I was like, I was getting hangry. I was so hungry.

[Rhea]

Yes. And I was like, well, I don't want to fill up. I want to try my snacks. Like, this is the time I'm gonna do my review. You know, we have a little off time, and I'm gonna take the time to go get my snacks, and that's gonna be my lunch.

[Noah]

You said snacks, but in the moment, it was kind of like, me and Fran are gonna have lunch at a restaurant. And you're like, well, I'm gonna go have lunch at 7:11. That's right. I was.

[Rhea]

I was like, I'm gonna go fill up on my snacks at 7:11, because I want to do my review, and this feels like the appropriate time to do. We depart, and I'm on my merry way to go to 711 to get my snacks. And I'm just thinking to myself, I'm not on my phone. I'm just thinking to myself, what am I gonna get? Do I want to get this? Do I want to get that? Boom. I'm struck, like, right in the head. And I honestly, at first, had no idea what hit me. I had no idea what happened. I'm looking around, like, I'm like, oh. You know, Like, I'm so taken aback by what just happened. And I start profusely sweating. So I feel my head, and it's, like, wet because I'm sweating so much. I thought I started gushing blood. There was nothing on my hand. So I was like, okay, that's good. But now I'm rattled. Like, I'm like, what do I do?

[Fran]

Where nothing's worse than having that happen when you're alone too.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

And I'm alone.

[Rhea]

And I start.

[Fran]

You're like, do I Get up and just pretend like that didn't even happen. Or like do I. Or am I like gonna melt down?

[Noah]

It.

[Rhea]

No. Right. And it was like a meltdown. Like I. It hurts so bad that I had no idea what to do with myself. I was like, what do I do.

[Noah]

Right now, by the way, Rhian, I mean myself and Fran were sitting down for maybe five seconds at that point at the restaurant. Like we had been gone from ria for like 30 seconds. And Fran is like, she just texted us like emergency, I just got whacked.

[Fran]

She says emergency, I just got whacked. And I was like what the fuck does that mean?

[Noah]

Someone punch you in the face?

[Rhea]

I had no idea how to.

[Fran]

And like Noah and I's first gut reaction, we were like, wow, everybody keeps talking about how safe of a city Singapore is. Rhea says she got whacked.

[Rhea]

Guys, I brought in broad daylight. I couldn't put together what happened. Like I got hit and I didn't even know how to describe to you guys what just happened. I was in a rush. I, I was in a state of what the hell do I do?

[Fran]

Yeah, you. I. It took a while for you to even explain it when you got to.

[Rhea]

I couldn't. So I'm like, okay, like you know.

[Fran]

The thing I got.

[Noah]

Yeah, the restaurant.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Noah]

I don't even know how to describe the state you were in.

[Rhea]

I ran in back to the restaurant or like fast paced walk back to the restaurant because okay, I can't go to 711 now. I'm all, I'm all discombobul. And I get into the restaurant, I see Fran and Noah and I can't even describe what just happened to me. I'm hysterical, laughing. Like genuinely.

[Fran]

Yeah. Borderline. But it was sobbing.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

Like it was one of those where both were, Both Noah and myself are just like how do we react right now? Like is this funny? Like are we laughing? Are we like oh my God, haha, this just happened? Or are we like oh my God, honey, I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Because it was like at one second you were like haha, laughing and then the other was like it was, it was flip flopping back and forth. I wasn't sure which one we were landing on.

[Rhea]

And that's a good example of how I handle most things in life is like part of me is laughing and the other part of me is crying. It's like I don't know. Yeah. How to react to the situation because you on one hand. I know how funny this is. Like it's Genuinely fucking hilarious that I just got whacked by this parking garage entry pole. And on the other hand, my head hurts so bad and I'm so dizzy that I'm actually a little bit afraid.

First of all, I felt like an idiot in general, because I was like, how did I. Why was I walking under? Because that's the questions everybody asking themselves. Why was I walking under the parking garage pole? And the car would have had to.

Be in front of you, but there.

Was no sidewalk or anything. You have to walk through the parking garage to get to the 7 11.

[Fran]

Right. So it also wasn't a garage.

It was outdoor parking lot.

It was a parking lot that was a parking. A gated parking lot. You know, it's like you had to pay the meter to get into the parking.

[Rhea]

Right. So I just. I. I thought. But then. Easy to walk through. Easy to walk through.

I could have took any other entry point through there, and I decided to walk right under the pole.

Yeah, well, you were behind a car.

I was. Which was weird. Like, I don't know why. Like, this is all very weird of me, you know? Like, I.

You were just really excited. Really excited to get to the seven.

I was like, I'm gonna film a video.

Yeah. I'm gonna do, like, an ASMR video. Whole thing. And I was just so focused on that, and boom, it came crashing down on me. I mean, if this pole didn't bounce off my forehead. Yeah, my nose would be broken. Yeah. Like, we were talking about this. Thank the Lord it hit my head and not my nose, because it would have been done for. That would have been bad. And I've learned to love my nose now in recent years. Like, if this was a couple years ago, I probably would have been like, okay, I. Fine. I wanted a nose job anyway, but I love my nose now, so I wouldn't want that. I would be very upset so that. Oh, God. So it really. I was so confused. I was dizzy. And then all I started convincing myself that maybe I had a concussion, but I didn't, like, they were monitoring me and I was fine. But you know when you just, like.

[Noah]

You'Re like, I don't think I can go to sleep.

[Rhea]

No.

[Fran]

And I were really trying to, like, enforce the mind over matter. We're like, do not tell yourself you are concussed. Like, you're gonna feel like if you keep telling yourself you're concussed.

[Rhea]

Yes. But I. My head did hurt and I wasn't dizzy. 100 makes sense because I literally got whacked in the head, but I was not concussed. You would be able to tell I was not concussed. We were monitoring my pupils, but I was acting like Vince Vaughn and couples retreat when he gets the shark bite. Like, I was like, all day. I'm like, you guys don't understand. I got hit in the head and things are now different. Yeah, life is different now.

[Fran]

Yep. And look, I'm not gonna lie. When you first walked in, I said, you do look like you just got hit.

[Rhea]

I. Because I. My head was really red.

And there was a little bomb.

20 minutes, it went down. You had a little bomb. I was like, let's. It's not a big bump.

I mean, it was 3:30.

I said, I got hit in the head.

I get hit in the head. No context, no nothing. I was like, send him another text. He's going to wake up. He's going to freak out.

[Rhea]

He's going to fly to Singapore.

He's going to fly to Singapore. You're. He's like, gonna be on the plane, and then you're gonna wake up and be like, I'm okay. And he's gonna be like, I'm in the air.

[Rhea]

No, but I. I ended up telling him, but I was just like, having, like, my husband's not even awake, and I got in the head and the end frame was like, he's gonna tell you the same thing I'm telling you. Okay, You're. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay. So I was okay, but.

[Fran]

Because that was like another added element of the. Of the, like, the drama of. It was like, you'd be like, I don't know, feel good. And now I can't call my husband.

[Rhea]

Like, you would make everything better. And grand was like, he's gonna. I'm telling you, you're fine. No, I'm kidding. You were very nice. You were very more than nurturing and. And nursing to what had happened.

[Fran]

I. I could tell that was. I mean, that was a traumatic event that just happened. I. I wanted to make sure you were okay, while at the same time, it was hilarious that we were going to really laugh. Thinking back.

[Rhea]

No, we. We were laughing the entire day.

[Fran]

Like, it was. I know. I mean, even towards, like, the end of lunch, like, we were sitting in silence. And, like, I. We were all over the place. We ordered soups. Like, we were just like, yeah. Really, like, all over the place at that point, too. It was like, we're trying a lot of new foods, so, like, our. Our tummies were at some points disagreeing with us. So when we sat down, it was like, this soup, I feel like, is actually what we need right now. And we're sitting in silence at the table. And at one point, I just, like, just couldn't stop giggling because you're also, like. You're just, like, holding your head and, like, taking spoonfuls of the soup, like, deep breathing.

I know. And then I took you guys to the scene of the crime after I was like, yeah, you guys have to see what. What happened. And you were like, wow. Yeah. That thing came down on your head fast.

[Fran]

Yeah. Oh, that. That pole was moving at a warp speed, let me tell you. And even with a car. It was a faulty pole. It was. It was.

[Rhea]

Did you see you guys. You guys watching some of the cars are. Faulty pole.

[Fran]

It wasn't going up in time. And like, let me tell you, after the car went through, it was going down fast. Right.

[Rhea]

It wasn't. It was a faulty pole that hit me in the head. And let me tell you, this couple that saw me from afar, their reactions to me getting hit in the head, I. That also scared me because they saw it from afar. And I saw both of their faces go, yeah. And then I. I dipped out of there. I was like, I don't want them to come over to me. You know, you're so. You're alone. You're embarrassed. Yeah. So that was definitely a bump in the trip. Get it? Yeah. So that was. But it was funny. It was very funny. But then that. But then after that, obviously, we had the most activities. Right. So we. It was time to do the Singapore Sidecars.

Where we're in these cars with Helmets on, racing in the streets. And I. It was funny. I posted, like, a video of me being like, I got hit in the head. And then my next video was us in the sidecars, and people were like, rhea, what are you doing?

How are we getting from point A to point B?

[Fran]

Like, what happened in between these two events? Yes.

[Rhea]

But I. I rested, and I recovered, and we did the sidecars, which were a blast.

[Fran]

Yeah, those are really, really cool. Sitting, like, these little vintage sidecars was going, like, riding through the city, getting to see all the. The sights and the buildings and. And it was really, really. It was a beautiful night.

[Noah]

That was probably one of the coolest things.

[Fran]

Yeah, it was really cool.

It was. That was my favorite thing. That was awesome. Yeah, it was so, like.

It was like, right as the sun was setting, we.

We just missed F1, which was also really funny because literally every single person we talked to was like, you guys here for F1? We're like, no, we got here. As it ended. There's a big. The Singapore Grand Prix was on Sunday. Like, we got there Monday. The Grand Prix was on Sunday. And all what's really cool about that specific race is, like, it is throughout the city. So we were on the track, basically. I mean, the roads are the track, but they have all the things built up. So the stands were all still up. Like, all these.

All these things that. Even when we were, like, in the sidecars, I was like, okay, F1. Like, here we go. Like, riding through the open, open roads was actually very cool.

So it was really cool to see all that. And definitely, like, top thing on the trip for me was.

And the guy Simon, who, like, created it, was very cool and, like, giving us history. He was telling us, like, you know, Drew Barrymore and, like, any celebs who come there now.

[Fran]

Yeah, I said a lot of people did it. Yeah.

Andrew sat in the same.

My. My guy told me. He was like, this is the. Drew also was in the yellow sidecar.

I was in the first electric sidecar, which is cool.

Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Or the whole background of it. It was. It was great. But that did lead us into going to a dinner that I had. I had searched maybe, like, the night before we left, because I saw it on the itinerary, and I didn't really do too much digging. And then I texted. Movie was like, guys, did you look at the. At the restaurant we're going to on Thursday night? Which neither of you had as well. And then we were all looking at it together and we said, okay, this is, this is gonna be a journey. And it. The name alone, it certainly was. So it was a place called Absurdities, which, you know, really says all you need to know. But it was a performance based meal. And also like combined with the antics of an escape room where you have to like kind of figure out how to get out of the room or into the next room. And each room, you know, we had a. Basically an award winning actor and. And they had a whole spiel before we had whatever course it was. The food was very tasty.

Some of them just. Just did not break character or.

[Fran]

No, I mean, most of them. Most of them did not.

[Noah]

And which was funny because the first room we went to, I. They knew I had a nut allergy. So I'm like, I should be fine. But the first room, the like, objective was like, find out what this is made of. So then he hands out like all the food and I'm like, okay, but on a real note, like, this doesn't have nuts, right? He's like, no, I know all the ingredients, trust me.

But I'm like, like, he gave you an attitude. Then he looked and goes, no, there's no nuts.

[Noah]

Yeah, because he had to break. Are there nuts?

[Fran]

Or like you took him out of his performance so he's kind of pissed. And. And yeah, we just, you know, then you had to really like each. Getting into each different room was another experience. Like a lot of it was crawling or like going through a. Climbing and crawling into another room and.

And finding hidden doors.

[Fran]

Yep, hidden doors. And it was the three of us. And then there were two other couples that were part of our group. And one couple was celebrating their, you know, anniversary of many years. So they've been together a long time. And the other seemed like they were definitely on a earlier date. They were hysterical because they were definitely drinking a little bit and maybe they were even a little drunk when they got there. Because after the first room, like she specifically was really testing all of our leaders in each room. I felt like, like they, they.

They all. I only imagine that they all got together at the end of the night and said, man, that one girl from the 7:30 reservation.

Because she was also really trying to get them to like break out of it or like not answer the questions that they want. And we were in one. One room was like a. A desert. And she just kept telling the guy that she wanted three wishes.

Because he was, like, kind of dressed like a genie. I don't know. But, like, not really.

[Rhea]

Not really. She said. She said he looked like Aladdin.

Yeah. Yes. Which was probably more accurate. And then at one point, the kid got so fed up, he was like, I'm not blue.

But. So she was saying that to him. And then we'.

The other rooms were like, they don't know what happened in the other rooms. And she'd be like, he promised me three wishes. Where are my three wishes? And they're like, what?

It was actually a really whole sideshow within the show itself.

And then, like, each room was another chorus. So we were trying different food. And it was certainly an experience I have never been through before, 1,000%. And I know, like, the. We met the owner afterwards. She was lovely. And I think she was saying that was there. There's one other. Was it in, like, maybe one in.

Yeah. Something else that was like a whole big kind of like, thing like this. And asked us. We would never as. No. This is the first time I've ever done anything like this. It was. All I know is Gia had one when we went to go get our tattoos. She had one on her bag. And I went, ah. Because they're, like, kind of freaky looking.

And so, yeah, she's got some of those. And so when I saw those, I was like, oh, gee, has these. I'll bring one back for her. And I bought one box. And we went. Well, we went back a second time, which we'll talk about. But the second time, I saw, like, three young girls walk over the section and, like, be like, oh, they have the new one. And, like, grab the box. And I was like, well, like, oh, I need that. That's the one I need to get then.

They were like, they grabbed him so fast. I was like, oh, my God, I don't even know what this is, but I'm gonna get it for Gia, because these girls Are making it seem like they're the new ones.

Clearly, it's cool.

Yeah, exactly. So. But no, that was. We. We did buy some items. They had the Labubu, like, figurines. Yes. Which we were interested in. Very, very, very.

The whole culture in that store was just shocking to watch people shaking boxes.

They're shaking the boxes. You're trying to figure out what's in there. I mean, me and Fran got caught up in that.

And we ended it up at the restaurant.

I got something for my husband, and I couldn't even control myself. I'm sitting at dinner, I'm like, I gotta open this.

I know, but he. You know, he wouldn't. He's not gonna be like, you opened my Pop Mart. Like, he would be like, that's funny. So we all decided that was the gambler in me, that I just couldn't. I had to open it. But then I was like, all right, well, now I need to go buy him another one. Because, you know, he should feel the fun of opening it. Yes. Even though he didn't care. And it was the same exact one that I opened.

That's crazy.

Yeah. So dang. Yeah. I know which the Coca Cola was. Yeah, same exact one. Yeah, but now they look cute next to each other. But he. When I told him the story, he was dying laughing. He was like, I wouldn't expect anything else than for you to do that. Like, you open up the box and then go back for another one.

And then the funny thing was that you got another one. And then after, I think we're, like, walking to the plane, you're like, I'm not. Like, I will not open that. Trust me. Like, and then I think five minutes later, you're like, I didn't care.

I could probably open it. I didn't know I was joking with you guys. I didn't open it. I didn't. There was. They were like. Fran was like, there's 19 hours on this flight. What are the chances? You get bored, you open this up. I was like, I want to, but I will not. But as soon as Matt picked me up from the airport and we throw.

In the door, I was like, you gotta open these. I was like, I've been thinking about this for 19 hours now. Please open up the boxes. Yeah, one of the other ones I got. So the Coca Cola one was the same. This sausage. I was like, the one I did.

It's ugly. And I was like, so one of.

Us got the noodles.

I know, I know. The cup of noodles or even the fried shrimp.

I got a Lilo stitch one. And it had, like, a birthday hat on, which is nice.

But we went back and got a second round. And then Brie and I got the same ones, which was like, reopeners. She's like, I. I got the sandwich. What'd you get? Like, maybe we'll trade. And then I was like, I also got the sandwich. We're like.

And then you're like, oh, my God, do I go back? Are you like, no, you can't fall.

No, that's why they get you. That's a fall into this trap.

You just need to keep opening the boxes.

But all of a sudden, you have eight sandwiches.

You're like, how did I end up here? No. Matt was like, this is fun, though. After he opened it, he was like, you know, I understand the thrill of this.

I have quite the display going on in my home now because. Yeah. All in one day. I have, like, 10 of them. Them now.

Couldn't. Couldn't be stopped. But the. The whole airport experience was something to be noted because it was wild. It was just never ending.

There was not one minute I didn't have a song from this album sucking my head.

We were in the saunas playing it through our Bluetooth speakers. And it's one of those ones like this album I loved a lot more than, like, torture pellets, which is just like, it's everyone's.

Like, that's kind of the whole conversation that was happening last week where, you know, upon initial hearing of, like, of listening of this album, you know, I'm like, yeah, my first. And I'm talking about first listen. Yeah, at midnight. Same first listen. Listen again in the morning.

Similar feelings.

Listen again in the morning. I'm like, ah, I'm feeling this one.

[Noah]

Yeah.

Elizabeth Taylor.

[Rhea]

I'm like, all right, I'm feeling it. I'm feeling it. Upon third, fourth, fifth listen. I'm like, oh, yeah, I am feeling it. This album. Like, I am eating this up. And then from then on, I was just eating it all up. All week, you felt the same. Exact way. We were vibing. We were loving it. So I listen. I also think her doing interviews, talking about the album, the music really does help. Totally. Because sometimes you hear a lyric, and rightfully so. I think people go, what the fuck is that? You know, what. What is this lyric? What does that even mean? You know, this is cheesy. Whatever. And then when you allow yourself to dive into the cheese and be cheesy and be sarcastic and be satirical and funny, then you appreciate it more when she's talking about the lyrics of certain songs and she's like, yeah, that's meant to be sarcastic. I'm not being serious when I'm saying that.

[Fran]

You're like, oh, right, Taylor Swift is.

[Rhea]

Allowed to be funny and not take herself so seriously and just be goofy and. And let that side of her show. And, you know, she talked about that, like. Like with Travis now, right? Like, how so many people have said to her, like, this is you. You've never been More yourself. And I'm like, that's so true. And, you know what I related to that, and I. It sounds so cheesy. And, you know, I know nobody really want, like, we don't care. Like, that is exactly how I feel right now, too. Like, and what people have said to me in my relationship and now being married, like, people are like, you've never been more yourself. Like, with this person. I'm like, yes. So, like, watching the. The. These interviews of her and, like, hearing her talk about the music, you're listening to the songs, you could, like, relate to it. You're like, ah, this is so fun. And even if you're not experiencing that as well, they're just fun songs, you know, that's how. That's how I took it.

And hearing her mindset, too, being like, you know, when I was writing my last album, like, not in a good place.

[Rhea]

Right, right.

[Fran]

And it's so true. I don't know. I just don't think there's any reason to ever put Taylor Swift, like, ever, like, pigeonhole. Taylor Swift is one thing, because she has shown time and time again that she can do so many different things. And every album has shown that every. In my mind, like, every album is so different, and she's been able to do that for so many years that it's like, you can't expect the same kind of sound or the same kind of album. I also think it really is, like, insulting to her and. And how successful and intelligent she is that, like, you're gonna say, oh, how could she write, like, folklore and then write this? It's like, well, she can do both. Yeah, she can write a song. Like, she can write an album like that, and she can write an album like this. Like, it's fun. It's different. It's like, you can be goofy and fun. She can also be serious and write a lyric that, like. Like stabs you in the gut. Like, it. It rings so true to you and all these. All these other things. So, I mean, I don't know, it got. It got wild for a little bit there. Like, we were obviously not, you know, discussing it in real time as much, but, like, the things I was seeing on Tick Tock, I. I actually was truly in disbelief. And if you don't like an album, it's so fine. You can just say, like, hey, I don't really. With this album, I don't really like it. It's not my vibe. I'm not gonna listen to it again.

[Rhea]

Fine.

[Fran]

But, like, using these. This deep Reasoning to, like, reveal why you think the album is bad because the lyrics mean this. And she's actually trying to sell us all on this message now that, like, I was like, I don't even know how we got to this point. I had to, like, close tick tock for a few days, especially when we were away too, because I was like, I, I, I. It was that weekend, like, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, before leaving. I was like, I don't understand what is going on. By the time we're leaving on Sunday, I'm. I'm on tick tock. It's like, Wish list is trad wife propaganda. And. And like, all these lines mean this. And she's saying that she. I want the whole block looking like you. And they're like, taking all these. I'm like, what is happening? I'm like, I. I don't know how we fell down this. Like, how. How is this the road people are going down? I don't know.

[Rhea]

It.

[Fran]

It kind of like, really threw me for a lot of these discussions and. Sure. Like, some things that people are upset about. Absolutely. You know, you want to be upset about certain lyrics. Okay. But then I just. There were some things I was like, we're really reaching on this one. Like, have a couple kids, got the whole Bach looking like you. Like, very clearly. Kylie, Kelsey and Jason have had four girls that are so clearly Kelsey's. It's like, oh, we're gonna have kids. They're all gonna look like. They're all gonna look like Travis. Like, the Kelsey Jean is strong.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

It's also like, thinking about having kids and wanting them to, like, look like their parents.

[Rhea]

[Fran]

I don't.

Yeah, it's a, It's a sweet sentiment.

You're like, oh, like, I love it so much. I want our kids to be like you.

In that one interview of like, you know, people think that you're gonna be done this. This is it, your last album. Now you're just gonna have kids and stop doing music. And she was like, that's incredibly insulting.

She was like, what a wildly offensive.

What a wildly offensive thing to say to someone. It's like, yeah, no, but that's like, people.

[Rhea]

Oh, she's.

[Fran]

She's throwing this message down our throats of just being. Of having kids. It's like, I don't know. I don't know. It just like, took a very insane political twist that I just really did not see coming.

[Rhea]

I think for Anything. It could show that, like, yes, you can be so successful and have your own thing and your own business and be your own person. While also, you know, she's in love and wants a relationship and wants to have all of these things as well, which 100% you should be able to do. Yeah. There. I actually really enjoyed a lot of her interviews because she even talked about, you know, because this album did get a lot of criticism as well as a lot of love. Like, you know, it goes both ways. Where she talked how she loves when her fans relate albums to different times in their life. Like, you know, she was like, initially, you know, I didn't like Reputation. Now I've gone through some more things, and now I fucking love Reputation or Evermore. Like, and I think that's so true. Like, certain albums are great for certain times of your life, and you can go back and listen and go, oh, my God, now this. I could relate to this one. I could relate to this one. And even if you don't related.

Yeah.

Relate to it. You could still have fun listening to it. Like, it doesn't all have to be relatable. You could still just have a good time listening to the song. So, yeah, I. I just thought it was, like, a lot of fun. And my favorite, favorite album is 1989 from Taylor Swift. So I think that, you know, I kind of love this because it was a little bit reminiscent of that to me.

And just. Just a fun album.

Totally. And it's also like, we couldn't. She couldn't have been more clear about the. About the period of life that she's in right now and her mindset and all these things. So it's like, I don't know why anybody would think we would get an album that sounded like torture poets. You know, it's just not where she is. Right.

[Rhea]

Well, I think it's because the Life of a Showgirl title made people believe that there was going to be, like, some sad.

[Fran]

Yeah.

Undertones of, like, being happy. Like, I could do it with a broken heart.

[Fran]

Yeah.

You know, can be like, Life of a Showgirl. Like, the life of a showgirl is you're brokenhearted. Backstage, you're so upset you just broke up with your boyfriend. But then you get on stage and you put on a happy face.

[Fran]

Yeah.

And you act like nothing's bothering you. I totally get that side of it. I think people were maybe expecting a little bit more of those songs. Songs. But on the other side of it, seems like this is what I was going through, like, it's her life of.

[Fran]

You know, it's like, it wasn't like, oh, I'm. I'm writing about the life of a showgirl in the sense of, like, what the definition of that means. It's like, I'm writing.

[Rhea]

Yeah.

[Fran]

My life was behind the scenes of the Heiress tour when I was in a good place.

[Rhea]

Yeah. I don't know.

[Fran]

I just. I did see that too. People like, oh, I really thought, like, the whole album was gonna have a different sound because of. Of the showgirl name, which I. I mean, I guess I just. I don't know.

[Rhea]

I could see where people are coming from with that, but was pleasantly surprised with. With the outcome of it. Like, I think all of it was really fun, and there are a lot of fun songs on there. And really just trying to dive into what a lot of it means. And a lot of it means, I think she's in love. Like, I think the takeaway of a lot of the songs were, the past has been shitty, but now here I am. I love this person. People have treated me shit in the past. He doesn't like a lot of those themes, which is great to see her so happy. And I think people get, like, weird when people are, like, very openly happy and in love and whatever. And people, you know, they always say, misery loves company. Sometimes, like, people just, like, want to be like, she's shoving it down our throats, and it's like, well, let her be. What's. What's. Is she hurting anybody by being so happy and in love? No. So, like, let it be. A couple favorites. I think we could talk about that. I love Elizabeth Taylor. That's my number one on the album. Even after the second listen, that was my number one. I love. Actually romantic, I think, even besides the sentiment behind it, because there's been a lot of discussion of what that song really means, who it's about. People think it's about Charli xcx. People think it's just about haters in general. You know, they're kind of obsessed with you at the same time. All that aside, I love, like, the beat of it and just the way she's singing the songs as well. Opalite is so fun. You're just like, dancing in a fairy tale. That's what Opalite feels like to me. Just like, you know, like, having fun. Father figure really grew on me. Initial listen, I hated the lyric about her. Her dick being better. I hated it. I was like. Like, this feels. I don't even know the word. I don't want to. I. I don't even know what it felt like. It just felt like, why? You know what I mean? I was like, why is this the way we're saying this? And, you know, get me wrong. I'm not one to shy away from profanity, so, you know, you would maybe think that that's an odd take coming from me, but I felt like, oh, you know, this isn't really necessary, I guess.

But then after multiple listens, I was like, you know what? I. With this song, I like it a lot. I like the meaning behind it. She talked about, like, you know, having to do with the music industry. And, you know, when you think of it, that perspective. She talked about Logan Roy from succession, like, being kind of.

A big inspiration to that song as well. When she. When he looks at his kids and, like, you're not serious people and, you know, the elta son type of thing, which I thought was very cool, because love succession. So that song has grown on me tremendously. Like, I really like that one as well. Wish list is so fun. That one has. Has grown up to the top as well. That one's just really fun. I know that people love wood, and I don't not love it for, like, I'm not like, oh, you know how, like, Dave was like, I can't love wood. Right, right, right. Like, that's not where I'm at with that. It's just not one of my personal favorites.

Yeah, it's. It's fun. I've. I've definitely found myself listening more times than I anticipated, more times than I listened to tortured poets. Just because of the. The vibe, I think of it. Yeah. Especially for everybody. And I love that she's so openly talking about being like, yeah, I'm not the art police. Like, if you like it or don't like it, like, it's okay, you know? Like, you don't have to love every single song, every single album. Like, it's very normal to not. Yep. By the way.

So, yeah, that was. I'm glad that we had some time to soak it in and not review it, like, right off the bat, because.

Yeah. Because now I know the songs a lot more and it's. It's pretty up there for me in terms of the albums. I mean, my top. Like, I love. And this is also a hot take. People didn't like Midnights. I love midnights. Yeah. Like 1989 midnights. Life of a showgirl. I think there's a theme here on my favorite albums of more being like, yeah, definitely. Definitely less of the.

As well as a full concert movie from the last show on the ERAs tour which is going to be awesome. Can't wait to relive those moments. Of course, like this will have the whole torture poet section in there and then the six part docu series of all the behind the scenes stuff. Even just seeing some of the quick clips. Seems we get a full view of everything that was going on behind the scenes. Training life after a show, times with Travis. There's like a cute clip of what look like them practicing when he came out and did his little part during the, during the show. So I feel like that'll be really fun to see. People are really excited for that and I can't wait to watch that. That's gonna be perfect for, you know, kind of close out the year. And the ERAS tour is really something that is such an interesting insane accomplishment and should be celebrated in that way. And I'm excited to to relive it and watch it and like watch her go through putting on these shows that really like changed the the landscape of of concerts 1000%.

I'm excited to see as somebody who didn't get to go to one of the shows just to be able to see behind the scenes and watch the, you know know there's already the concert, you know.

She posted on September 17th a full video with a boyfriend. It seemed not seemed it was very out in the open. It was a boyfriend and it was like to be loved or something of that sort. And now there's these. She's out with John Mayer. I know.

Yeah. So I think. And the John Mayer stuff started a couple weeks like a couple weeks ago. So I was just like, wait, what? I'm so confused now granted that was a almost a month ago she posted that so Maybe they could have broken up. Right?

You know, maybe right after that, and then she's on dates with John Mayer. That could be possible. Yeah, very possible. But I think people are like, wait, what?

Yeah, it certainly was a head scratcher for. For me as well. I. I believe someone snapped a picture of them at Fly Fish and sent it to Dumois, and they had posted about it this week. But, you know, my first glance, I was like, oh, is that John Mayer? I can't really tell. It's kind of a hard picture to see. Noah so diligently pointed out that they are his tattoos. He could really. He knows them better than anybody. So he made sure to say, oh, no, that if I know my guy John, that's his arm. So I don't know there.

Which, you know, it was good for somebody to confirm because we were like, maybe that's not John Mayer.

Can't confirm. I can't confirm. But to have his. Him having a sleeve of tattoos, like, makes it more likely that's him. Unless it's just a John Mayer look alike with the same tattoo.

Moving on. Real Housewives of Potomac. What? Wendy and Eddie.

They were arrested for fraud. Multiple counts, 118 counts, 116 counts. There's a lot of different counts of fraud going into this. The shit is things not being reported, faking, people thinking that they were faking a robbery.

You know, said that they can, you know, put claims in and they've been caught.

[Fran]

Yeah.

[Rhea]

So.

They were arrested Thursday in Maryland after being indicted by a grand jury for allegedly falsely reporting a home burglary and theft. She faces 16 charges related to making false misleading information, fraud and making false statements to an officer. And her husband faces 18 charges for the same crimes. A spokesperson for the Reality star said her and her husband are back home and in good spirits. They are grateful for the outpouring of concerns poor from friends, fans and colleagues.

They look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully offers a privacy. Blah, blah, blah. Deputies were called to their home on April 7, 2024, for a report of burglary and theft. They allegedly told deputies that they had just returned from vacation to find that their home had been burglarized. The couple said that jewelry, luxury goods, clothing, shoes holding more than $200,000 were stolen during an investigation. The sheriff's office said the detectives found that. That Wendy and her husband had returned roughly $20,000 of the alleged stolen items to the stores where they purchased them. Detectives also found images of one of them wearing jewelry that had been reportedly stolen. After the burglary took place, a search warrant was issued at the couple's home. They were taken into custody. They were released Friday after posting bond. You know, Wendy's been on Real Housewives of Potomac since 2020. She, her husband's an attorney, founder of the cannabis brand Happy Eddie. And this really shook the housewives fandom. For sure. We're not as well versed in Potomac, but I know I've seen people talking about it being on right now and like, I saw some screenshots of like, the episodes now. People being like, she's wearing, she's wearing, she's wearing the ring. Ring right here on the show that she said was stolen. Allegedly.

Allegedly. So I don't know, it really is mind blowing in so many ways because she really is somebody that I think everybody thought had had their together, like really had their together. You know, she is a journalist. She's received many, like, awards for her for her work and is, I think, has always been very, you know, proud of her work and all. And all that she has done. And it's just kind of crazy that like, this is happening or that anybody who thinks that they can, like insurance fraud is crazy because people, I really think people are like, who's gonna know? But my God. And they got, they got departments on. Departments on. Departments when making sure that this shit doesn't happen.

When you are on television.

Committing fraud. Yeah. Behind the scenes, it's gonna be easier to get caught. You know, they're gonna see your lifestyle, they're gonna see what you're up to. And there's a good chance that, you know, maybe you shouldn't risk it.

They'Re always out here risking it. They really are, you know, people, they take that risk and there's no reason to.

They really are so crazy. I just think everybody's really shocked that this would be happening with them. And, you know, Wendy, I believe, was on the new Wife Swap, the housewives. Wife swap. What? I think they're pulling the episode, her specific episode. I think they're not airing or something. I saw something like that, that they wouldn't be doing it. So I don't, I don't know. It's like we're waiting to see any kind of reaction. We don't know what else has gone, has gone down. But she's clearly like, they put out that statement that they'll have their, their, their day in court. But. But from what people are putting together and even just from the Internet, having like a weekend with it, people are like, oh, this is not good. Because you're kind of like seeing like, wait, she claimed that was stolen, but it wasn't. Or I mean, having the evidence that like you went and returned for. For money, Some of those items that you said were stolen. Nuts.

So I actually just saw an article just came out. Andy just said on his radio show, because people were. People watched watch what happens live last night thinking that they were going to talk about it, but maybe they pre recorded it because it wasn't talked about. Andy said, I want to say that like all of you, I found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie on Friday morning, and there's not much that I can say. I know nothing of the charges more than you guys do, than what I've read. He then said, I'm sad about this. I'm really sad about this. And Wendy is just, you know, I'm a Wendy fan and she's been a great housewife and a great role model. He then said, she's always led with education and her solid family values. And so I'm really thinking about her and her family. And I'm certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing. It's like, yeah, you know, you can hope that that's the case. But I. Not quite. Not quite sure, right.

But here they are kissing on top of this yacht as seen by pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, embracing and cuddling. And that's it. Everybody's declined to comment at this time about the two of them, but they're.

They're just enjoying another couple that man, no one saw coming.

Something here, right, to pop back onto the auct. And then, you know, lastly, which is very sad, Diane Keaton passed away. And this was news that people were, you know, taken aback by. So sad, very sad. And there were so many people that had such wonderful things to say, such wonderful things.

I watched this whole video of I think, I don't know where she was. It was some sort of hello sunshine event. Reese Witherspoon and oh, yes, I saw that. Yes, she had just learned of her passing and she just told like an awesome story of Diane really being there for her so early on in her career. Like one of the first movies she ever did, Diane directed. She walked into like the casting room. Diane was there. She's a cute little 15 year old from Nashville. She's got the accent, the whole thing. And Diane's like, I, I, I need you in this movie. Like you're, you know, you just, you just have it and having her there and, and, and helping her and just really so many people sharing so many amazing stories they have with her and people thinking back to their favorite movies and all the amazing things that she's done so many iconic movies, so many iconic roles and. And movies, and breaks my heart. You know, we just. She was 79 years old. We don't really have more details. It's like, you know, completely fair. I think her family is keeping that private, but they shared the news of. Of her passing. And, you know, she had kids. She had kids later in life, and it's just. That was just so sad. You know what? You know, the movie. I was thinking, you know, everyone obviously goes right to Something's got to give. Godfather, Annie hall, family stone. I mean, everybody being like, my family stone.

This Christmas is going to hit different. It's like, right? Certainly will.

Which, by the way, like, it is kind of important because that's like the background of his character, but it doesn't really. Like, like the baseball part isn't that, like, forefront of the movie.

But 1000% agree with you that what happened to him could have been anything. The beginning of the movie. No, but it could have been the beginning of the movie. Want that to be his background. Him being a massive Giants fan throughout, like, baseball. San Francisco Giants throughout this entire film. And randomly, like, the Go Giants. And his mom calling about the Giants and everything.

And. And on the radio, there was to be. I'm watching the movie. Like, what does this have to do with. I. I don't want to spoil it because the background, like, yes, it is important what happened to him. He was a going to be a baseball player and something happened and he's no longer. But, like, there is no part of him that was believable as a baseball fan.

And every time something happens, he's checking the Giant score and, you know, go Giants. And all this, I think is so not important to the movie.

It's not any. You could take that out. You could take hurt. He could have wanted to be anything else.

[Rhea]

Him being hurt from being a baseball. Like, you could have kept him wanting to be a baseball player and still taken out the random go Giants. That was throughout this entire movie. You'd be locked into a scene, and all of a sudden he'd hit you with a go. Giants. You start laughing like. You're like, what?

[Noah]

He was in the hospital bed and she gives him his Giants head.

[Rhea]

He's like, oh, yeah. He's like. He's like, but what happened with the Giants?

[Fran]

What?

[Rhea]

It took me out of it many times. I was like, I do not understand. And there's no one less believable as a humongous baseball fan than Austin. I just think in this movie.

We've talked about it many times, but it's just something about Austin Butler in general that. That I just can't fully buy into any character he's playing. Because of his voice.

No, but here's a thing. Watching this movie, sadly, I'm with you. Like, I was really, like, I liked the movie. There's an. I didn't not like the movie. I thought the movie was good. Not fantastic.

Overall, really, like, entertaining.

Zoe Kravitz is always great randomly. Bad Bunny was in it. I forgot that. I was like, wait, what?

Yeah, it's just kind of funny enough. Like we were with them for a little bit of time before the game and she was so sweet. I really, really liked her. Then when all this came out, I was like, oh, God. And then on top of that, I was like, oh my God. And she just had like. Like, this is so awesome. Like a career, like a big career moment. Like, this show is like gonna be huge.

She's really good. And then this shit happened. Fucking sucks. Yeah, she's really good in the show. I didn't know that was his wife. Well, I like her role in the show, so.

It's because of the way people have treated the way that she looks like. And that sucks. Like, that broke my heart. I actually.

The way that, that, that one like, TV announcer in the first episode when they played that clip and she. And they were like. He was like, she's such a.

And I was like, whoa, it was crazy. You guys weren't awake. I was bawling on the plane, watching this, like, genuinely sobbing, where I thought maybe somebody was gonna check in on me and ask me if I was okay. Oh, my God. Because I just.

It. It's true how much it really sucks the way that people put, you know, how you look, like really, you know, the comments that people make and how much it affected her. And, like, even David Beckham being like, you know, I know my wife as somebody who would come home and throw a tracksuit on and drink wine and. And, like, that started to change because of the. What people were saying about her, and her saying that she's been told she's too skinny, she's been told that she's too fat, calling her Porky Posh or skinny, like, all these different things, and it really affects the way you see yourself. And I think a lot of us can relate to that, you know, especially as women. Like, sometimes you look in the mirror and you're like, what the. At like, what? You know, because it just. Just. There's so much pressure people put on, like, the way you look, especially in the media. So I felt, you know, she's really, like. It kind of gave it a great insight to, like, what she has, you know, pushed through with, you know, Victoria Beckham, the fashion line failing and David Beckham, you know, helping her, putting money into that and it going into the red and, you know, then people being like, oh, her husband had to pay for it, and, like, her just wanting to prove herself and the Spice Girls ending and that was her identity, and she loved being a part of the Spice Girls. And even just, you know, when you see someone like Victoria Beckham and. And they say, you know, I was bullied as a kid. I was an outcast, right? And you're like, yeah, of course, Victoria Beckham. You were. But then they show the pictures and the videos and all that. You're like, oh, maybe she really was an outcast. You know, like, you just. You never really know. You really don't know what somebody is going through behind the scenes or what their earlier life was, you know, And I just found it to be incredibly interesting. And I think she's so cool, and I think she's hilarious, and I love watching their banter and their dynamic. I would like David Beckham maybe. Maybe this is their. Their banter, but I would like him to be a little bit more obsessed with her. I know that they've been together for 27 years. But sometimes I'm like, david, you know. Yeah, loosen up a little bit here, you know.

They clearly are. Are very much still in love and support each other, and they're in their 50s, and they look fantastic. It's just crazy to see, like, somebody who you, like, think is, like, so powerful and such a boss and everything with Victoria Beckham and then be like, oh, but she has all these insecurities that maybe you feel sometimes, and it's just. It's. I wouldn't say cool to see, because you don't want anybody to feel that way, but it makes them feel very human. When. When you're humanizing, look at someone like them in their life and be like, oh, they don't understand, you know, but. But they do.

Yeah, I think, too. Like, it's the same kind of thing with her and the message that she obviously was kind of sending with the documentary and everything, that the press has really just portrayed her in such a way throughout all the years that everyone has had this. This image of her and, you know, know, she's, you know, joked about it, too. It's like, oh, being, like, a moody guy. She's like, oh, she doesn't smile, like, all these things. And she is unintentionally very funny. Like, even when talking about, like, the not smiling, she's like, well, David stands on one side of me, and that's not the side. Like, I smile out of this. This side. But I don't know if it's just because, like, when I was. When you get to be, like, a certain. When you're in that certain age group, you see famous people depending on what era of life they were in then. So I really wasn't as familiar with Posh, because Spice Girls was just, like, a little bit too early for me. So I didn't quite. Like, you have a different image of Victoria Beckham, so it was so cool to watch that, like. Like, old footage of her and, like, the theater kid who wanted to dance and sing, and you're just like. It's funny because, like, obviously, you know, she's in Spice Girls. Like, I get like, you know, like, she is iconic for. For that reason, but, like, connecting that version of her from, you know, the early 2000s to that young girl who was, like, wanted to be in theater and was singing, you know, cabaret and, like, all these things, it's like, oh, oh, this is totally right. You. You see where it all comes from. It was interesting.

You know who she reminded me of? Ekinsu that's fair. Like, you know how Atkinsu was always like, I'm weird and quirky. It was like the way that she talks. I was like, that's what I was getting from Victoria Beckham.

Which was really funny. Yeah. Obviously they're both British, so I think maybe that's why. But it was all very cool to see, you know, having so much drive and like, it's inspiring to see someone just like, obviously, you know, when you.

Of a name and you have more of a poll and you have money, you can't deny those things that she is more of a.

But she also, to fight against those, you have to fight against all those things too. Because people had such an idea of what. Of who she was and. And they immediately just like tossed that away because they're like, oh, she's like, of course Victoria Beckham's gonna do this. Like, she can't do this.

Right. And it's so funny that, like, the media saw her one way. Meanwhile, growing up by Victoria Beckham was cool as shit, but like, you know, you're looking at a bunch of, you know, men on. On, you know, talk shows and whatever, call her a bitch and call her all sorts of names and you're like, well. And meanwhile she's talking about how when she's walking with Eva Longoria and Eva Longoria is laughing, throwing her head back in the picture, she doesn't care. But for Victoria, she's like, I can't even do that because I'm so afraid of what angle people are going to catch me at. And you know, so self conscious for such a beautiful.

I mean, look, like. I think the pods were very fascinating because there was a lot of potential couples that were coming out of it. And then of course, like, seeing the way it ended with. With Patrick and Casey.

It was like, you're like, oh, my goodness gracious. Like, that was one of the more uncomfortable breakup. Non breakups to watch where, like, she's so clearly trying to break up with him, but, like, not being clear enough at all. Like, to us, it's clear.

She's breaking up with him. But in that moment, she's not being clear to him at all.

No. And then she just kept jumping on him. I was like, you are breaking up with her?

And then. And then behind the scenes, because they. The. The producers are not holding back this season. They showed the behind the scenes where she was like, I'm just never gonna get to a place where I'm. The attraction's not gonna grow. Like, I'm not gonna be obsessed with him. And then was then still jumping on him. And I'm like, dude, what. What's going on here? Like, behind.

You could just tell right to him you're giving. Clearly was trying to not come across a certain way on TV first.

And then. And then they showed it, and he was like, well, girl, you're on tv.

She didn't want to give him back the ring. What was up with that? I was like, well, dude, you don't.

I don't know what was going on there.

That whole situation. I felt so bad for him because he was being misled. Yeah. Really. Because what we were seeing was different from what she was telling him for sure. And she. He thought that she just didn't want to go to Baja and. And then wanted to, like, talk after Baja. Yeah.

It was like, well, I'll see you in Denver. And she was like, no, but, but, yeah, but I love you.

It was very, very, like, really misleading to him. It made me feel very bad for him that he was getting all these mixed messages when we were so clearly seeing what was happening. And then you had sparkle.

Watching that man throw a chicken into a blender with some crystalite and then drinking it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. And honestly has made me question every single thing about. About you as a person.

In other ways, but, like, them talking about their sex life and her saying, you know, I. I'm don't want to be intimate until the wedding and having these things and, you know, kind of opening up about her past and maybe saying, like, I. I haven't done. There's been times I haven't done that in the past. I haven't been emotionally connected to that person. Things have happened and, like, kind of throwing a tantrum hearing that just because she said she isn't gonna sleep with you. And, like, then really having a major meltdown about it was perhaps raised a red flag for sure. A caution flag, at least.

What else did I. On the plane, I watched. I jumped back into mission possible because I realized that it was maybe something I was gonna have to do on my own. And I watched four or five, and over the weekend, I watched six.

So I've done four, five, six. Six. By far. I think my favorite so far. Really liked six fours. Fine. Five. I. Watching five, I was like, oh, I've seen this one, like, you know, sometimes, like, my dad has certain ones that he really loves and watches often. Five was one of them.

So as I was watching, I was like, oh, I have seen this one, like, plenty of times, but I would go, four. Four is a B minus. Five is a B. And honestly, I think six is, like, an A minus.

It's up there. Good action, good drama, good switcheroo. Some of the, like, the switches I kind of knew because it's like, oh, you cut. You sort of know the sense of, like, that's the one Harry Cavill's in. And then.

Love is blind is. Love is blind is a b plus. I agree with you on that. The pods are always so good, and then, like. Like, when they're trying to be a couple, it. Sometimes things just get. You're like, oh, God, this is awkward and weird, and let's just see if they get you. See if you get married, you know, I Started the Buccaneers, which I'm pumped about because people have been telling me to watch this show for since it came out. Like, people like, friend, you would love this show. It is a show. Like this is the genre that you love and they are right, it is. And I did love it. So I was late to the game. I watched basically all of season one on the flight home. A little slower to start. Like at first I was like, oh, I don't know if this is like, like maybe I thought it was going to be a little cheesy, but by the end, loved it. I would grade those earlier episodes like not as well as it would grade the later episodes because then it was like, oh no. There's like legit good plot points and, and things happening here. Now that I was interested in Season one, I'll give an A minus. Really enjoyed it. Great. Some Taylor Swift involved too. The end of the end of season one, they h got a Taylor Swift song playing. I was like, okay, this is, this is good stuff. And I apparently I've heard, I don't know anything about it, but I'm excited for when I finish the second season to dig into. Apparently there's a lot of behind the scenes lore within the cast that I don't really know anything about. I don't even know. But people have been like, ooh, there's drama. So I'm excited to catch up on whatever, on whatever that is. But it was funny. It's one of those shows that I think so many people watch but then like, don't talk about or isn't talked about, like the amount of girls or people. I do know that message, me being like, holy shit, I fucking love this show and have no one to talk to about it. I was like, wow, there's all these, like a lot of my own friends were like, I love the show. I don't have anyone to talk to about it.

I was like, everyone's just been watching. Everyone's been watching.

Yeah. And then I watched the first two episodes of the second season which very interested to see where it goes. One of the most hateable, hateable characters I posted on my story just, you know, like when the character's hatable and then they just have one of those faces that just links up to how hateable they are. That's this guy. The first two episodes of season two, I'll give like a B. Like they're, you know, we're, we're building to something and I kind of think that that's all I, I watched. I Have a bunch of. A bunch of bravo to catch up on. Oh, my God, I can't wait to. I watched part one of the. Of the Miami reunion, which I can get. I'll give like a. I'll give a b. Part two came out when we were away. I gotta watch the things people are sending about part. The clips. I've seen a. Part two out of this world. Out of the. I could try and sum up what is happening to you, but I think you'd be like, what?

Oh, yeah. Wow. Disney Week was awesome. Yeah, Disney Week was superb, I would say. Wow. There were some fantastic dances. I mean, Alex Earls I thought was incredible. Maleficent was. I think she deserved a nine in my opinion. At least one of them. Whitney and Mark are so good and they got a nine. And I thought, honestly, maybe it was the, like, the design and the. The spookiness of it all. Like, I thought she. Alex Earl deserved a nine as well. Like, I just thought it was so good. I love Jordan Nestle, Ezra. They're one of my favorites.

I thought they were so cute, so fun. Riley and Scott. Yeah, they did pop to the top, which was really cute. I'm always thinking it's cute.

Like, you're not voting for the people you want to stay. And I mean, that certainly happened with Hilary. I know that there's obviously, people have their opinions on her as a person and all these things.

I watched the first two episodes of Inside the Inside usa. This was before we went to Singapore, and I was, like, interested. It's been enough time now where I'm like, I might not finish it. I don't know. Like, it's kind of passed in my mind, but it was like, it's an interesting reality show. Like, I think it's a cool premise. I'll give that a B minus for what I watched. I saw one battle after one battle after another. The Leo DiCaprio movie. It's. It lived up to the hype. Like, everyone was hyping it up.

I really want to go see that.

Like one of the best movies of the year, if not the best movie of the year. DiCaprio is like at least gonna be nominated at the very least, I think. Yeah. Extremely. Like it's a 2 hour and 45 minute movie, but it felt like 2 hours. Like it did not. Like the whole movie is just constantly moving. Teyana Taylor, she was really good. Like, everyone in it was so good. Sean Penn was just. Just quite the character.

Yeah, I heard Sean Penn kind of like stole the show.

He did just his character and his performance was incredibly weird. But great job on his part, so I'll give that an A. Watched Crazy Rich agents on the plane for the first time. B plus. That was on the way to Singapore. Great movie. It was funnier than I expected it to be, but yeah, and it was just the perfect movie to watch on the way.

I watched Companion. This movie came out this year. Yeah, it's about, it's Jack Quaid actually. And he's dating like an AI robot. And that's kind of the premise of, of it and it goes downhill real fast. But I thought it was really good. It's like kind of like thriller, horror type movie. And those AI movies are always scary. It seems like could actually happen soon enough. I'll give it a B. It was, it was definitely entertaining and pretty quick. I rewatched Pirates of the Caribbean, the first one on the plane. That's an A. Like there's not a great movie. I haven't watched it in forever. Maybe like since I was a kid. But it all came back. I'm like, wow, this is just as good as the first time. The Ballad of Willis island. Another movie I watched on the way back that came out this year. Pretty new. It's a story about this guy won the lottery. So he lives on this island and his favorite band, favorite artist. He invites him to the island to play what he thinks is going to be like a big concert, but it's just, just for him. Oh, and then he invites what's her name from promising young woman Carey Mulligan. Yeah, she's in it as like his former love interest. But honestly, very good movie. Like music centered, which I like. So who's the main, the main guy I have not seen before. His name is Tom Basden, but Tom Bastin, really. I mean it has a 96 on rotten tomatoes. I really enjoyed it. I'll give it a B plus. It's just like a quick 1 hour 40. Quick, quick movie. Heartwarming I would say. Yeah, just a solid movie.

Oh, it's a come. I, I couldn't, I couldn't quite get what genre it was from your description. I was like, was it Supposed to be like. Like, not like drama. Like, it's like, intense.

I would say it's a comedy, but I wouldn't say it's a comedy. Like, it's like a. A mix. There's, like, emotion in it. Yeah, I wouldn't even say that. Like, I don't know how to start. Like, it's. It's a funny movie. There's funny parts, but it's. It's not like a comedy. In my mind. I watched this movie, the Penguin Lessons. Steve Coogan. It's a true story about this guy who goes to. Well, now I'm gonna forget where he actually goes. Let me just double check this. Steve Coogan. Oh, yeah, Argentina. He goes to teach English in Argentina. But it's during, like, this whole political coup and everything. Everything. And a penguin is involved. You'll see why. But what a tease. Yeah. But honestly, that's another heartwarming, like, true story. I was actually tearing up on the. On the flight at the end of it.

It does, it does, it does. But that's. I'll give that a B. Like, I love Steve Coogan and just a great true story. Then I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I'll give that a B plus. Like, it didn't really hold up as well as the first one. In my mind. I think that, like, maybe three or four I was a bigger fan of.

Yeah. But still, I mean, they do kind of drop off as it goes on.

Yeah. But it's funny because, like, I'm pretty sure those are the only movies I've ever seen Orlando bloom in. Like, I couldn't tell you another Orlando Rings. Never watched Lord of the Rings, but he was great in those.

The last movie I watched on the plane is this movie called the Surfer. Nicholas Cage came out this year. He just picks, like, the weirdest roles where I'm like, I almost am. Like, he wrote this himself. Just the strangest movies, but they're always, like, pretty entertaining. I'll give this one. I'll give it a C. Because it was so ridiculous that I was like, I don't know what I'm watching, but he's so funny in it. And I'd say it's worth watching. It's just Nicholas Cage being Nicholas Cage. Watch Caught Stealing. We talked about it, enjoyed it. I just think any Austin Butler movie I'm going to have a hard time fully loving just because. I'm just. Sorry. I just can't. Like, I could just think of A million actors that if you put him in his role, it would have gone up like at least a couple half letter grades in my book. He just takes me out of every scene. But it's not as bad as it used to be for me, so I'll give it a B. And then I watched the last couple episodes of Gen V. That show is just like a B minus. It's just like a fun show to watch but nothing crazy. And that's all I want.
