B
It's Chicks in the Office with Rhiann Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Monday, everybody. We have a great episode that we're about to get into, plus a great interview. But first, Chicks in the Office is presented by Microsoft Copilot. Before we get into all of the topics today, we need to talk about the thing that is keeping everyone's lives organized right now. And that is Microsoft 365 Copilot.

B
Exactly. And you can learn more@Microsoft.com M365 copilot We are back. We're back, back, back, back again.
A
Oh, I thought that Rhian.
B
Fran, Fran, Fran are back again. Okay, I messed up. I will.
A
I wasn't sure if you were going Miss Mary Mac.
B
That's exactly what it sounded like. Huh?
A
Yeah, but you. But then it also kind of had like, Eminem. Like it had a little MM in there, too.
B
Oh, yeah, I was going Eminem. Okay, but completely off.
A
I thought you were going. I thought it was Miss Mary Mac.
B
Mac El dressed in black.
A
But yeah, that's why you were doing.
B
That's exactly what I sounded like. Way more than Eminem. But yes, we are back. We were in Turks and Caicos this weekend.
A
Yes.
B
My God, did we have a fantastic time?
A
We did. It's just, you know, it's such a beautiful place. Basically ran back the exact same trip we did last year, which we were so happy to do. And it, you know, sun, sand, ocean, food, drinks, great food, great restaurants, good
B
times, great laughs had by all. I feel like people expect us to come in with like some crazy recap, but, like, nothing crazy happened besides having just a fantastic time.
A
Fun time. Fun. Giggles. Really?
B
What?
A
And it was my ideal vacation where it's like, you know, you don't have crazy big plans at night, you're sitting on the beach all day, you get a yummy dinner, maybe a drink afterwards. We, the four of us, really got into playing Imposter. After dinner, every single night, we just all played Imposter, which was a ton of fun. It was so fun, but it was. It was so nice. And, you know, we went. We stayed at the. At the same resort. We went back to the Weimara, and it was all like, the same people working and everything.
B
So it's like nothing had changed from
A
last year when we went. We just, like, saw all of our favorite people again. And, you know, we have so much fun on vacation. And Joe cracks me up because anytime we leave a place, he's always saying to the staff, you know, we'll be back. Like, can't wait to see you next time. And most of the places we haven't returned to.
B
Yeah.
A
Except this one. We were back, and they were all like, oh, Mr. Joe, you're back. So, you know, it was. That was just. It's just fun.
B
It was nice to be. It was nice to be welcomed back.
A
Exactly. See some familiar faces.
B
Yes. Yeah, we really did have a great time. You know, one night really got away from me in terms of drinking, waking up, feeling like, whoa, oh, I had a blast smoking cigarettes. Shut the fuck up.
A
Look, you posted a picture of you smoking his cigarettes so people can put two and two together.
B
I had far too many cigarettes one night.
A
I've never seen you do that before.
B
I've never seen myself do it before.
C
But who are you smoking with?
A
Who do you think?
B
Fran's husband.
C
Yes.
B
Who?
A
Of the four of us, who do you think?
B
Joe and I were going sig for sig at one point, and I have never. It was just the vibes, you know, the drinks were flowing. Imposter. The thing is, we were playing Imposter.
A
Yeah.
B
Imposter can be a stressful game.
C
That does feel more fun to be smoking.
A
Yeah.
B
And, you know, when you're pretend. When you have. When you're the imposter, you have a cigarette in your hand. You know, it's just a little bit easier.
A
No. Just never know.
B
But no, it was. It was really a ton of fun. And my husband ended up getting sun poison.
D
You.
A
Are you mentioning.
B
I felt. I feel bad because he was so. He was so sad on the last day. You know, he put on sunscreen and everything. But the. The five to ten minutes he sat out there with nothing on. Yeah. Really snuck up on him. Like the first two days it was fine, but it like settled in.
A
It was like a delay.
B
It was like a delayed sun poisoning. And his eyes got all swollen.
A
His eyelids were.
B
His eyelids were burnt. They were burnt up.
A
It's truly like the. Yeah. Like the 10 minutes he laid outside with his eyes closed just soaking it all in. Day one just couldn't have backfired. Yeah.
B
And it caught up to him like two days later.
A
So we were like, we're eating, we're drinking, we're doing the whole thing. It's not like he's in the shade, just drinking water, you know. Yeah.
B
And. Oh, I felt so bad. He was, he was so upset because the last day he was. He was down and out. But we were like, just in case. We thought it wasn't sun poisoning. Confirmed. It absolutely was because we went to this lovely restaurant, the Marine Room, which is so good. In Turks, you have to go if, if you're there. Yes. So good. And somebody asked to take a picture with us. It was a group shot and they posted the picture on their Instagram story. And in this picture you could just so clearly see that Matt had a case of sun poisoning. Yeah.
A
You know, he looked like a cherry tomato red.
B
I felt so bad for him. And he's also. He flew from Turks to Arizona to do some stuff, some baseball stuff, which is really exciting. But I felt so bad. Oh, God. Just.
A
He's gonna be peeling like a motherfucker.
B
Oh, yeah. I'm like, you gotta moisturize up. And then we're gonna be in Florida at the end week. Oh, my gosh. I know, I know. He's like, he's like.
A
He's like a sun shirt. Like, just gonna dress him up like a little kid going to the beach, you know, literally.
B
But no, he. He will be packing on the sunscreen. But we're going to Florida because I haven't seen my parents since Christmas Eve. And yeah, if I.
A
That's a long time.
B
If I don't go to see them this weekend, I won't see them until the end of April. Right.
A
Because then we're. We're traveling.
B
Yeah. And also my in laws as well. So we're going to see both, both our parents this weekend, which will be nice in Florida. But he will be bundled up for real.
A
I'm jealous. I wish I was doing that too, but just can't just.
B
I gotta go home. Yeah, we. We've been, we've been Going and going to go home, you know? Yeah.
A
And I was thinking, too, because I was like, oh, you're so right. And you guys are gonna have a blast. But you. Could we come back then? We're going to the west coast next week. Our tourist kicks off this week. We're so excited. We're in Charlotte tomorrow. Tuesday. Can' to see everybody. And I'm so excited to talk to Sally and Molly, too, because Southern charm has been getting so good.
B
It got really crazy this week.
A
Yeah. We'll talk about it for later in the episode. But it's gonna be. It's gonna be a ton of fun. But no, we had a great time. It was a blast. And we laughed. We met some lovely people, I have
B
to say, some of our listeners that we ran into.
A
So much fun.
B
It seemed like everyone was having a great time on vacation as well.
A
Truly. It's such a great place. How could you not, you know, it is.
B
And it's just. It really is a great, like, couples trip place as well. It is. There's so many great places to relax but also have fun. Like, you know, the Conch shack.
A
Yeah.
B
You got music and dancing and just yummy food all around. Great vibes. And I feel like. I feel well rested.
A
Yeah. And ready to actually, despite really, like, not wanting to leave.
B
No, no.
A
You know when you just think, like, oh, one. One more. One more day just would have done the trick. When you're leaving a vacation, you're like, just one more day. And I really do think one more, like four full days. We'll know for next time.
B
Yeah, we'll tack on that extra day
A
next year when you guys start to listen to us. And each day this trip gets one day longer.
B
It's also really funny, like, when we run into people and they're like, you
A
guys here for work?
B
And we're like, no, we just vacationed together as well.
A
Yeah, like you're recording from here.
B
No, just vacay.
A
Nope, nope, nope.
B
Just.
A
Just lounging and having a good time.
B
So I did see people ask, though, a lot of ladies in the DMS asking about, you know, if they should go on their honeymoon there. They're looking for an island to go to for their honeymoon. Things like that.
A
It depends on what kind of trip you're looking for. Right.
B
If you're looking for just a lay on the beach with some beautiful freaking water. Yeah. All day.
A
That's the place.
B
Then. Turks is a great place because, my gosh, that water is so damn blue and it's just so lovely.
A
There, it's just so refreshing. But it's not much of, you know, later evenings. I feel like most places, like restaurants and stuff close on the earlier side. And sure, there are places to go out if you want. If you really want to, but it's not like a crazy nightlife, I feel like.
B
Yeah.
A
And I don't know. I don't know. Most people may not want that on their honeymoon. Or you want a mix? Maybe some. You want half and half. Some sort of mix, which could work too.
B
Good call by you. Because one night we were. We were, you know, at a restaurant, had some drinks after at the bar, and you were like, we gotta get it. We gotta get a cab home. And I was just, like, living it,
A
you know, we're at another hotel. I was like, guys, I don't think, like, after a certain point.
B
Yeah, me, Matt and Joe are just in our own world still, like, playing imposter friends. Like, guys. The guys. We got to get home. How are we gonna get home from here? I was like, wait, what did take at home?
A
It did take a little while.
B
It did take a while. Literally the next day I was like, friend, thank God you said something. We would have been stranded.
A
Yeah.
B
So, yeah, it's not like a. It's not like a stay open late.
A
No place. No. But that was now what we were looking for. No trip. So we had a. An app. A ball.
B
We did watch Traders together.
A
We did.
B
On Fran's iPad.
A
Yep. Couldn't get it on the tv.
B
No.
A
But had it on my iPad. Where the four of us all laid in bed and watched on a very tiny screen.
B
Yes.
A
At the foot of the bed.
B
And let me tell you, it worked.
A
It did.
B
It did what it had to do. Because we were able to watch Thursday night.
A
Exactly.
B
We were not delayed, but didn't post about it on my story or anything because I didn't want to spoil it for other people.
A
Yeah. Yeah. And it was also just like. I don't know, we had watched later too, and some people had seen it, not seen it. And with the finale, I kind of wanted to give a more. You kind of want to give a more in depth thought.
B
Yes.
A
Discussion.
B
Which we will do. Which we will do later on in this episode.
A
Yep.
B
Noah, how was your big trip to Nashville?
A
Enjoy your time away from us?
C
I wouldn't say that, but, like, it was a good trip. It was a quick one night. Went to Nashville, Tommy and I, and it was fun.
A
You only went for one night.
C
Yeah, it was. It was just like an event. A Barstool, like, event that was happening at the Barstool bar. So we went.
A
You want to extend?
C
It never crossed my mind, to be honest.
B
It never crossed your mind to extend?
C
No, honestly, I had told my parents that I was coming home, and then that came up. So then I just. I was like, oh, I'll come home on Friday. But I feel like Nashville, I mean, it would have been fun, too, but. Yeah, it's also, like, I'm fine with one. One night's fine.
B
Yeah. One night in Nashville kind of does the trick.
C
I'm not, like, a big, like, bender guy, so if I drink a lot, like, one night, like, I don't know how I'm gonna feel for the rest
A
of the weekend fair.
C
But it was fun. And, yeah, then I went home and actually went to a kennel, like, where they keep all the dogs that are up to be fostered or adopted. And it's, like, the saddest thing ever, because it's just, like, all these dogs that, like, are so happy when you come in, but they're just, like, in these, like, tiny little cages and. Yeah, but that was. We were picking up, like, a foster for my. My mom has new foster. But, yeah, if you're interested in dogs, go to a new chance. There's plenty of dogs. But, yeah, that was my weekend.
B
Nothing crazy.
A
That looked like a very. What's the new foster's name?
C
Chewy. There were three dogs, or three of the dogs they named after Star wars. So he's Chewie after Chewbacca. There was Vader after Darth Vader. And then I forget the other one named something Star wars related.
A
Yeah, Muddy Paws had. You know, Saturday they do their adoption events in the city, and, my God, this Saturday, it just seemed like they had an influx of puppies. Like, sometimes they just have more puppies than other weeks. And I was just watching their story. It was just puppy after puppy. They were so cute. There was a Mario, a Luigi, and Peach, and I, yeah, showed Joe, and I was like, oh, there were two
C
dogs at the kennel. That one was named Taylor Swift, and one was named Travis Kelsey.
B
That's cute.
A
That's cute. It is. They do a good job with the names, you know, like, always. Maybe something current, get people creative, get people excited, so. Well, I'm excited your mom has a new foster. That's always fun.
C
Yeah, I was fully. If you saw me, I was, like, drenched in mud, like, after we left there, because all the foster dogs, like, we would take them for a walk outside, and it was Just all muddy because all the snow was melting and my entire, like. Yeah, all my clothes are gone.
B
So again, down dirty.
C
Yeah.
B
But, well, it seems like you had a nice weekend. A little bit.
C
I'm sure you guys missed.
B
We did.
C
The whole time we were talking like, what's Noah doing? Right?
A
We were like, we wish Noah was here.
B
Fuck. We are traveling though today together to Charlotte. Our show is in Charlotte tomorrow night and the tour begins and we can't wait to see you guys there. We got a couple of exciting guests that we will be announcing soon. More guests, more shows. Tickets are still on sale. Reminder to bring your signs if you're coming to a show. Because we want to see the creativeness that you guys have and bring to these signs and we always have a fun little, little thing that we do with the signs at the show. So can't wait to see you guys there. And let's get into the rest of today's episode. We have a great interview with Tyler Cameron.
D
Oh.
A
Oh.
B
I did want to mention this and we weren't going to make it full topic, but now that we're here.
A
I was waiting for you to bring it up. I didn't know if you were. I was gonna have to re. Bring it up.
B
Okay. This shook me up this weekend. Jim Carrey. Yeah. I'm trying not to be insensitive to whatever is happening.
A
Well, I just am confused.
B
I am seriously, like, I have chills about it. It's freaking me out. I know I may be being dramatic about this, but this is exactly how I felt when I first saw the videos, is that I didn't know how to act or respond. I'm gripping tightly to the chair.
A
Yeah.
B
Because is this him or not him? And why does he look this way if it's him?
A
Yeah. It's unfortunate because it probably is him. Which is sad because everybody thinks it's not him. But there's been a lot of discussion about it because as you can see if you watch him on the carpet and the award. He was at an award show accepting an award for the. The Caesar Awards. Cesar I don't know. It's French. That was. That was French.
B
I like to tell from that. Yes.
A
And the person who, like, runs the awards was saying, oh, this has been planned for months. He's been practicing his French. Like all of these things that make you think it was him. And it's like, oh, the person that was there's emotional. All these things. But you just look at him and you're like, what happened? What happened? Because it looks like he either got a lot of work done or something of the sort. Everybody was freaking out because his eyes seem to be different colors. It's like they're going back and finding old clips of him and pictures of him. He's got dark eyes, and now all of a sudden, he's got these light eyes, lighter eyes, I guess, in. In this. And then it really threw everybody for a loop because Alexis Stone on Social Big Drag Makeup Artist posted that it was really him dressed up as Jim Carrey. And then that threw everybody off. But then everyone in the comments is like, this is so clearly AI. Like, come on, people, use your brains. Like, it's not. But then he keeps posting all these prosthetics, and you're like, wait, I'm so confused.
B
I'm so confused. That's really all I have to say about this whole thing. Did you see this, Noah?
C
Yeah, I. I always lean toward, like, I don't think it's a clone. I don't think it's, like, someone else.
B
No, not a clone.
C
I'm, like, looking up. It's like people are literally like, no, not like clone. Like. Like it's someone impersonating him or like, yeah, yeah, like.
A
Like an Avril Lavigne situation.
C
Oh, but I just. I just don't see that. Just seems so. Unless this is some bit that Jim Carrey's doing where he's in on it and he's gonna be like, look, I got you. That wasn't me.
A
No, I know. I don't think so either.
B
I think it's him. I think he just got a lot of work done.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, it hasn't been that long. It's not like he's been out of the public eye for, like, a while, I feel like.
A
So this guy from the award show, he's a general delegate of the. Of the awards, says the actor's rare appearance at the ceremony where he received the honorary award was authentic and a historic moment. In a statement sent to Variety on Monday, he calls the outlandish rumors a non issue and spoke about the preparation that went into Carrie's tribute, as well as the star's dedication to learn his entire speech in French. Jim Carrey's visit has been planned since the summer. From the outset, he was extremely touched by the Academy's invitation. Eight months of ongoing constructive discussions. He worked on his speech in French for months, asking me about the exact pronunciation of certain words. He came with his partner, his daughter, his grandson, and 12 close friends and family members. His longtime publicist accompanied him. His old friend Michael Gondrey, who has made a film and two series with him, was there and they were delighted to see each other again. For me, it's a non issue. I just remember his generosity, his kindness, his benevolence, his elegance.
B
Okay, that's like, great and all, but. Yeah, it doesn't explain it. Why. Like, what's happening with. What.
A
Oh, no, no, no, no, no. But I think it's kind of like a.
B
Like this. Like they're like, we don't care.
A
Yeah, back off.
B
Like, yeah, it was. Let's not.
A
That's not why he's here.
B
The focus shouldn't be on what he looks like.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
Although it is. Well, then that.
A
Well, then the. Because I feel Stone posting just gets everybody all up in a. In a tizzy thinking that it is something. Because there's been so many transformations from them on. On. On Instagram of things that they've done and prosthetics and characters. If you look at the Instagram, it's crazy. There's somewhere, all of a sudden he's. He's Donatell Versace. It's crazy, crazy, crazy prosthetics that he works with. And he has a whole. All of his highlights are different people. And this whole one of Jim Carrey really throwing people off. It's been sent almost 400,000 times. This guy's post.
B
I don't blame, I don't blame that.
A
Yeah.
B
Because I think we're all confused trying to find out the answer here. Right.
C
I mean, it's still like, look, you know, like, he's obviously different, but what's different between this? Or like Bradley Cooper getting like a facelift? Like, this happens all the time.
B
I think it was because the initial video that we saw was a side by side that he looked so different that I was like, I was. I was shaken up. When you see the pictures, it's not as. I think, yeah. As bold than the original video that I saw that I was like, what the. What? Yeah, that's like a totally different human.
A
Yeah.
B
But then when you see the pictures, you're like, okay, he got worse.
A
I also think you see people, like when you see someone out all the time, it's just like when you see somebody in your. In your everyday life, they pop out with a new face and you don't necessarily notice. Cause you're like, oh, I see them every day. And not that we see Bradley Cooper every day, but he's out and about a lot more than Jim Carrey is.
B
Yeah.
A
Despite Bradley Cooper also claiming he hasn't gotten any work done.
C
So it's like when Zac Efron, that whole thing happens. Like, you don't know, like, what's going on. Like, his face looks different. But.
A
Yeah, the eyes thing is what really threw me off because I feel bad at maybe whatever. Maybe it is some plastic surgery or something that he's done filler. Well, I don't know what, but the eyes thing really threw me off. They are totally different colors being different.
B
Maybe he's wearing contacts. Maybe.
A
Maybe he wanted to just.
B
Just change it up. The look.
A
Totally. I don't know. But it's crazy.
B
It is crazy.
D
It is.
A
It really is. Because then you kind of feel bad, especially reading that guy's description of him preparing for so long to do this show. And. And he was so excited to get this award and brought. Brought all his family and. And now everyone's like, that's not. That's a clone, right?
B
Yeah.
A
That's not even Jim Carrey. Everyone's like, that's a. Although, would that be Jim Carrey's biggest gotcha ever?
B
It could be. Could be.
A
Could it be? So I don't know. I really have. No. I can't say. I've never really been more confused about something. I know the most confused I've been about something.
B
I think we just need to choose to believe that it is Jim Carrey. And Jim Carrey got worked on.
A
Yeah.
B
And that. And he worked a lot on his French as well.
A
Yeah. Yeah, I think so.
B
He put in the work for that. Anyways, moving on. Maybe we'll get the answer soon enough or maybe we don't and we'll just continue to see Jim Carrey like this. But we do have a great rest of today's episode. We got Tyler Cameron on today's episode. We have the actor awards. We got our traders recap. We got a big old weekly watch report and we're going to get into it now. Let's do it. Let's talk about Batiste, the award winning number one dry shampoo brand. It's number one in the US and number one in the world. You can instantly refresh your hair with Batiste. It absorbs oil and grease for a cleaner looking and feeling hair with added volume and texture. We're headed on the road and I always pack my Batiste in my bag because I can easily spruce up my hair, refresh a blowout with Batiste by my side. Last night, Sunday night was the Actor Awards, formerly known as SAG Awards.
A
SAG Awards, but now the Actor Awards, presented by SAG Aftra.
B
Yes. So don't get it twisted. Don't get it confused. It's now called the Actor Awards.
A
Yes.
B
And as Kristen Bell said, it got a facelift.
A
Yeah. And, you know, just like Jim Carrey. It's not a bad. Yeah, it's not a. It's not a bad name change. No, I think it makes a lot of sense. Actor Awards, it's decided by your fellow actors. And it sounds better than a SAG Award.
C
Sag Saggy.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, it's just like, sag's just not a great word.
B
Sag.
A
And back still. Still on Netflix, hosted by Kristen Bell. And, you know, she did a whole, like, musical number about stage names and changing names, which made a lot of sense. The logistics of the opening number made a lot of sense. It's like, oh, the award show got a name change. So we could joke about name changes and people that change their names and stage names and all these things, which all makes sense. The execution wasn't great because unfortunately, some of the names that they did come up with just weren't funny.
B
Right? No, it was a really good idea. The idea was good. I am so with you. I thought it was a great idea. I was like, oh, funny bit.
A
Yeah.
B
But then the names that they were trying to.
A
You're not gonna get me with Teddy Dan Daughter is not gonna make me laugh.
B
Teddy Dan daughter's so bad that it might make me laugh. Like, that's the level that it was on, that it was like, this is such a horrific joke that I'm laughing. Also the Jacob Elordi one I didn't really understand. Or Teyana Taylor. Titae. Oh, is that supposed to be titty?
A
Yeah. I don't know.
B
Titae, maybe. Now that's one word. Now that I'm saying it, it sounds like I'm saying titay.
A
Yeah, it does. It does. Which still is not good, but it's like that.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't know. Could have been funnier. Or could have been done in more of like a roasty manner maybe. Or also done more in like a. Because they kind of joked about it with people that had already changed their name, you know. Oh my God. Like Emma Stone was Emily Stone, you know. But like, I'm sure there are plenty of other people in the room that have changed their name in some way.
B
Yeah. Some of them were mentioned.
A
Some of them were mentioned. But I feel like maybe like that could have been more of the focus
B
I was choosing to just taken. Kristen Bell's fabulous voice.
A
Yes.
B
And how lovely she sounds like, you know, like a Disney princess that she is. Yes.
A
And that's where I'm like, you know what? Sing Like, I'm never when I see somebody who's like, you know what?
B
Here we go.
A
We've got an opening number. And it's a song. You kind of. Your immediate reaction is, oh, but for her, I'm like, oh, good, good. I'm like, I'm glad your opening number is a song.
B
She's using her strength.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
Now we hit the Ted Dan Daughter.
A
Teddy Dan Daughter.
B
Not once, but twice.
A
Multiple times. Yeah. Uh huh.
B
Which made it difficult.
A
Yeah.
B
Because then we started playing ping pong.
A
Yeah.
B
And it was then Ted Dan daughter was there again.
A
Yes. And the more Teddy Dan Daughter.
B
Teddy Dan Daughter. And the more we say it.
A
Yeah.
B
The more giggly I'm gonna get about it.
A
Well. Cause it's also something where you kind of think, you know, a stage name is normally something I feel that. Or nickname something that's shortened. Ted Danson to Teddy Dan Daughter is a. Is a mouthful. But yeah. I don't know. I don't know why I was so hyper fixated. Hyper fixated on that one specifically, but I guess because it just was brought up multiple times.
B
That one was specifically bad.
A
It was. And it was used often. But other than that, I felt like it was a fun show. It moved. It's on Netflix, so felt like more limited commercial breaks. Paige Sorbo hosted the carpet. Co hosted the Carpet on Netflix. She looked stunning and I thought she did a fantastic job.
B
Yeah. She looks so good.
A
I would be so nervous in the best way because it's such an awesome opportunity and such a fun thing to do. But first time, really, like being streamed on Netflix like that for a major award show is a big one.
B
It is huge.
A
And I thought she was fantastic.
B
So good. She looked absolutely beautiful. And it is such a cool job and opportunity to get just like absolutely crushed.
A
Kept her composure, asked good questions, got to talk to a lot of great people. I love that. There was also a dress code for the carpet. It was, you know, holiday. Holiday Hollywood glamour. 1920s, 30s. And I felt like you saw a lot of that in everybody's outfits. Looks, jewelry, some fantastic jewelry on people. Some. Some. Some of these necklaces. Viola Davis's necklace. Oh, my goodness. Was that something.
B
I was loving a lot of looks last night. Actually, Morgan Stewart's Instagram story was cracking me up last night. She was posting just pictures of everyone's looks. She's brutally honest.
A
Like, she was like, I hate this
B
so much, or I love this so much, so much. And it was. It was fun to keep up with. I will say, though, my overall winner of the night was Seth Rogen, because I felt like Seth Rogen had a big night last night. Not only did he win himself actor.
C
Yep.
B
He also accepted the award for Katherine o' Hara on her behalf and gave such beautiful speech, a lovely speech. I mean, the things that he said were just fabulous. To really capture somebody who's no longer here. The words he used to describe her, I. I was so moved by it. I thought he did such a lovely job. It is not an easy task to get up there and, you know, speak the words for somebody who just held so much weight amongst these people in the room. And I felt like he did just that, you know?
A
Yeah, I agree. I thought he honored her in a great way. Threw a little, you know, a little joke in there about how she would send emails rewriting scenes for the studio and just reminding everybody that if you're unfamiliar with her work or, you know, some, perhaps younger folks that aren't familiar with her work to show it to them because she was such a talent.
B
I loved what he said about being able to be a genius and kind at the same time, and one does not take away from the other. And I was like, that is so true. Because you get a lot of assholes out there that will just say, you know, oh, well, they're so talented and they're such a genius and whatever, but they're a big asshole. And that just, like, excuses the asshole. And it doesn't, because you can still be an extremely kind person. And he said that she was, and I thought that was really sweet and just great all around. So he was one of my big winners of the night last night.
A
Definitely.
B
On top of that, Michael B. Jordan. Michael B. Jordan getting the recognition that he deserves, winning Best Male Actor. Even all the other nominees were hyped for him. Like, everyone just, like, erupted out of their seats. Viola Davis presenting was.
A
She was fired.
B
She was fired up, as she should be. Just awesome. And you can tell how moved Michael B. Jordan was.
A
Yeah. Winning, Really? I couldn't agree more. And it also was so nice seeing
B
them
A
win for ensemble cast as well. The cast is so fantastic. And I do think. And they talk about on the carpet and they talk about throughout the show that this specific award show they all seem to really love because it is. It's not some foreign entity or critics or people that they don't really. It's like, who makes up these people? It's all the crazy campaign campaigning and all these things that people do for the Oscars and everything is like, this is voted on by your fellow actors. And I feel like that means a lot to the people I know. Like, Noah Wylie was really hitting home with that too, for the pit winning and him winning as well. And just like, I think it just means even more. And it's so interesting because it really just opens up the field for the Oscars. I saw a graphic on Social, really, of who's won the awards at all the different shows we've had so far, and it's been quite the mix. The only one that has been a sweep is Jesse Buckley. So it's very interesting. You know, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens at the Oscars, but I just so happy for the cast of Sinners. I think that the movie was so fantastic. They should be honored for. For all their work. I know we just had the. We were. What was the baftas last weekend? We all saw what happened at the baftas, and I felt like getting their. Their moment and winning for. For Sinners in this way was. Was so fantastic. And I loved hearing Delroy speak as well on behalf of the. The cast and.
C
And Miles Santa Cruz.
A
Miles sang. He sounded amazing. That was beautiful. That. What a voice.
B
Oh, my God. So good.
A
What a voice on that kid.
B
It is.
A
It's incredible. So it was just a. I thought it was a really great show.
B
Yeah, I thought so, too. I thought there were some funny moments as well. You know, it seems. It's so funny because I love seeing everyone's different opinions about all the award shows they go to. Like when Seth Rogen got on stage and he was like, this is a fun award show. He was like, there's food, there's drinks,
A
and air conditioning is working.
B
Like, yeah. Like. And I'm like, it's just an inside look. Yeah. As to what award shows could be like.
A
Yeah, Yep, yep, totally. So I don't know. I am so intrigued to see what happens. I'm not going to be able to find that graphic again because it was something that really showed up on my now suggested thing on what happens for best actors.
C
People are like, Timothy Chalmette's fallen into the Leo thing now where, like. Because he was supposed to be like a lock, it seems. And now they're like, oh, they're going to make him if he doesn't win. Like, they're going to make him wait. Like they made Leo wait for an Oscar.
A
You know what, though? I'm like, I don't know.
B
I'm okay with anybody who wins in that category.
A
I feel like it's just interesting because I think Leo's out of the conversation. Out. Which is different than what it was. I think early on when we were going to the award show, we thought award season, it was like, ooh, Timothy, Leo, who's it going to be? Because that seemed to be the conversation. But now it's like, now, is it. Oh, is it Michael? Is it. Is it Wagner?
B
Yeah. I'm thinking it's a toss up between Michael B. Jordan and Timothy Chalamet for the Oscar.
C
I'm pulling for Mike Michael, just personally, because I just love that movie. But.
B
And when you remember that he played two characters.
A
Yeah. I mean, he's so, so good in it. I watched both. I watched both again recently because Joe had not seen them Sinners and Marty Supreme. So we watched them both, like, in the last few weeks. And he's so good. I mean, Tiffany's fantastic in this as well, but just it's what. It's one of those years where it's like, those are two, three. I think Leo is also fantastic. Fantastic performances where pretty content with whoever takes it home.
B
And it's almost like recency bias. Like when you rewatch one of the movies and then, yes, you're like, this person should win. And then you watch another one, like, this person should win.
A
I haven't even seen. I haven't watched the other. Like, so I'm like, if I could watch those, I'd be like, maybe should go to Ethan.
B
Right.
C
I do feel like that's why. Because Marty supreme, kind of at the very end of the year, people were like, it was like right before award season where everyone's like, oh, where she was so good. But, like, Sinners came out so early in the year that they kind of forgot how good it was.
B
And then when you rewatch Centers, you're like, fuck, he was so good.
C
So, yeah, there's. Because, like, the baftas, like, Timothy didn't win at the baftas either.
A
So people.
C
Those are like the two industry awards. So they're like. That could be telling.
A
I know people like to say that the BAFTAs and the Oscars have more of a correlation.
C
Right.
B
Or.
C
Yeah, like, I think just the BAFTAs and the actor awards now, because those are, like, they call them industry awards because I'm like, those are people in the industry, not, like, critics voting.
B
Right, right.
C
So, like, you win those, like, I think so.
A
Interesting. I guess we'll see. I mean, and then we had a Harrison Ford won the, you know, Life Achievement Award, which also, another time, you know, bring. Brings a tear to your eye. I thought it was such a beautiful speech. And he's just.
B
He.
A
He's so fantastic. Um, some up. Some ups and downs for Woody Harrelson. I feel like announcing him. I feel like there's some jokes that maybe didn't land with the crowd.
B
I gotta be honest. I think I fell asleep.
A
Oh, my God. You missed it. Yeah, you gotta go. Veri. You gotta go back and watch it. Because it was like. It got to the point where he finally did and be like, all right, like, time for Harrison Ford to come up on stage. And he was like, I hope no one asks.
B
I hope.
A
He was like, I hope none of my actor friends ever asked me to do this again.
B
Yeah, I was able to watch it. Like, I saw Michael B. Jordan and everything win this morning. But there was a good chunk that I. Oh. So I fell asleep around.
A
Oh, you know what you did? Because you stopped answering my texts.
B
I did.
A
You definitely missed this whole part.
B
I fell asleep at, like, 9. Yeah.
A
Yeah, you definitely. You definitely missed this whole part. Yeah, he was trying to make a lot of jokes, and then if there was, like, a chuckle, he was like, ah, tough crowd, tough crowd. And then. And then people would laugh. But, you know, he talks. It's sort of just like a ramble.
B
Yeah.
A
So he started rambling and it kind of went back and forth from him being serious and then trying to make a joke. And then you were trying to decipher what was a joke and what wasn't. And he kept, like, naming other people, but naming other people as a joke.
B
I don't know.
A
There were some confusing parts. Did you watch the whole thing?
C
No, I didn't watch the whole thing now.
A
Yeah, so it was. Went back and forth. It was funny that he was like, please, God, nobody ever asked me to do this again. Like, I, you know, count me out of this. Yeah, he laughed about that. But it was, you know, he. He was happy that he was even asked to do it for Harrison Ford. He made a joke about, like, just being on the podium of, like, his famous friends to do this, which not, you know, didn't get as big of a laugh as I think he hoped. Hence him being like, tough grip.
B
Yeah. When once the laughs don't start rolling in, it could be a quick downhill.
A
Exactly, exactly.
B
Spiral.
A
But Harrison Ford's speech was beautiful. Go back and listen to it. Cause it was really, I thought, fantastic from him honoring the people he's worked with and those who helped him along the way, and just the different opportunities and projects he's gotten to do and how he's tried to live his life. It was a really beautiful speech.
B
I'll have to go back and watch it. I thought that Meg Stalter was really funny. And it was like. Like, you can tell, like, Jean Smart and Hannah Eybinder were, like, cracking up because they understand. And then it pans to Gwyneth Paltrow. And Gwyneth Paltrow's just, like, shaking her head, but, like, with a slight smile at the same time. I thought that part was really funny.
A
Yeah. I agree. At this point, I feel like those two get to do so much at award shows because Hacks is always nominated. Cause they're all so fantastic that it's like everybody else at the award show has got to be onto it now to think, oh, here's. Here's these two from Hacks again. You know, you gotta. You gotta be. You gotta be prepared.
B
They caught me on.
A
They do. And they were. They were very funny. And Meg and Paige were very funny at the carpet, too. That, like, had me. That had me laughing. Yeah. She's hysterical. You really never know what you're gonna get when you're. When you're talking to her.
B
But I love that she comm.
A
Yeah.
B
She commits so hard on that stage in front of all these. Like, some of them may be a little snooty. And they're like, yeah, I don't know what's going on right now, but when you just commit because you know your. Your people are gonna love it and laugh.
A
Yeah.
B
And then it's very funny. Totally on top of all of that, we got Law Roach on the carpet confirming that Zendaya and Tom Holland already got married. Yeah. Like, we missed it. They already got married.
A
He said, you missed it.
B
We'll never see it. We'll never see It. I want to pray that Zendaya and Tom gave him the go ahead to confirm that they got married on this carpet.
C
I don't see.
A
No. No chance. I. I don't think so, because I don't think he would have said it in, like, a. And like, he was, like, walking away from the interview.
B
No, but he said in another interview as well. So I'm wondering if, like, he maybe said to Zendaya, like, what if I get asked about your wedding dress? Like, what should I say? And Zendaya's like, just say it already happened. You know, Like, I'm wondering if there's a world where maybe that conversation happened or because she was seen with a gold band on her ring finger recently.
A
So maybe if he was asked about
B
the ring, he was like, zanaya, what do I say if I'm asked? And she's like, just confirm it. Right. Because in what world do these two still.
C
This is like, when I said, like, when I jokingly said, like, if you want, like, all the exclusive pics from Riz Wedding, like, I'll be releasing them.
B
Yeah. Everyone was like, messaging you.
A
Send me, like, Noah's, like, I'll be diplo in the back on Instagram Live. Israel walks down the aisle.
C
I surprised you to pull out his phone, being like, look, here. Here are the pictures.
B
As Zendaya is so private.
A
Yeah.
B
And Law knows that. I can't imagine a world where, Right. He just says this without knowing it's okay. That he says, they do have a good.
A
They have such a good relationship. They work so closely together. Yeah. I. I don't know. I don't know. I would like to think that you're right as well, but I would also. I also kind of think that when you have a friend like that that just kind of flies by the seat of their pants sometimes. You don't know what they're gonna say. You're just kind of used to it. So you're like, ah, that's a big one, though. Like, no, it is. But it's like, I think. I think you kind of know if Law was involved in the wedding in some way. In the back of your mind, you're like, maybe you're maybe all their inner circle jokes, you know, it's only a matter of time before Law lets it slip.
C
All the people who were. I don't know how many people were at their wedding, but there were a lot of people.
A
A lot.
C
Still, there's a lot more than Law Roach that, like, there's plenty of people they Told the people at their wedding, don't talk about the wedding because it hasn't been talked about. So there's.
A
Here's the thing. We don't know a single detail about this wedding. It could have been 12 people. Like, we have no. Like, they could have. We have absolutely no idea.
C
And Law Roach.
B
But here's the thing.
A
Like, Law. Law might have just from the standpoint of, like, helping her style herself for the dress, you know, like, for the wedding. Like, it's not. It's not. Like, Law was maybe just there as a guess, as he was probably working in some capacity.
B
There was a previous interview that he answered like, oh, you know, about her wedding dress. And he was like, it'll be fabulous, and you won't see it. Like, you'll never see it. So. And that was prior. So that's why I'm thinking, like, maybe Law Roach is one of those friends. I saw Giggly Squad talk about this recently. Like, Law Roach is one of those friends that you tell Law knowing he'll tell people. Yeah, Like. Like Zendaya and Thomas. We want this out there. Let's.
A
You're like, it'll be Law. Slip it out there somehow. Because we don't want to confirm.
B
We don't want to put out a spread. But if Law says we're married, then people will know.
A
Yeah, because like you said, she was seen with the gold ban, which everyone was like, ooh, did she switch out her engagement ring? Or does this mean that they, sneaky, got married somewhere? All I know is I couldn't be happier for these two. I fucking love these two together. I have loved them from the beginning. They are my favorite spidey duo, and it just makes me love them even more.
B
Yeah.
A
That they probably had some extremely intimate ceremony and. And that was it.
C
Yeah.
A
No big fanfare, no big crazy hoopla. And just like, the two of them wanted to. Wanted to commit to each other, and they did it privately. And we may never see one iota from this union, but we're happy for them nonetheless.
B
Totally agree. I am so freaking happy for them.
A
I love that they are just, like,
B
so happy together that they went off and got married. I love it.
A
I love, love.
B
I love that these two committed to each other in that way. And you know what? Like, we get to see fake wedding pictures of Zendaya anyway. You know, with Robert Pattinson. Like, we get to see Zendaya the wedding dress, just not with Tom.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
But I will say, going just to the movie, that Zendaya and Robert Pattinson have. Coming out soon with a 24.
A
Yeah,
B
I'm dying to see this film.
A
Same.
B
You know, I watched the trailer for this movie and I thought, what the fuck did Zendaya do? Because her character in the movie, for those who have, maybe have not seen it, her and Robert Pattinson are, you know, getting married and then they're at a dinner with friends and they all reveal, like a secret that they've done, and Zendaya reveals what she did and Robert Pattinson is like, so taken back, they don't know if they could work through a get out.
A
Same with the friends.
B
Whatever. The friends are disappointed.
A
Everyone's like, what the fuck?
B
I need to know what she did.
A
Yeah, it's a really good trailer. It is. It's a trailer that ropes you in. What's the movie called again? It's like literally like the. The Wedding. The.
B
I'm looking it up.
A
You know, it's just like. It's like a strong.
C
The drama.
B
The drama.
A
The drama.
B
Yes, the drama. I need to know what the drama is. An hour and 45 minutes. What a perfect. What a perfect time.
A
When does it come out?
B
Like April 3rd.
A
Yeah, yeah. I was gonna say the first week of April.
B
So. A month. Yeah. God, I just got so excited.
A
Yeah, it looks like it's gonna be fantastic.
B
Ever since I saw the trailer for this movie, I've. I've been wondering, what the fuck did she do? Yeah, you know.
A
Yeah.
C
I'm almost. I'm also really excited for that Ryan Gosling movie that's coming out in a couple of weeks.
B
Project Hail Mary, Tell Mary.
A
I'm reading the book.
C
People are saying that's great.
A
I started it on the.
C
It looks so similar to the Martian too, which is. It's the same.
A
Yeah, same. Yeah.
B
Yeah. A couple good movies on the way.
C
Yeah, yeah. Harry Styles album this week.
B
Sorry that I'm so.
A
Oh, my God. Speaking of. Oh, can we talk for a second? Sorry. I'm like, I can't believe I was gonna go without bringing this up. Multiple things now actually that I want to bring up before we go into TV stuff. The Brits performance, because I loved it. And my God, is. Did it get mixed reviews on the Internet? People either hated it. They thought he hated it. I saw people being like, oh, he. He hates what he's doing up there. And I was like, how do you know?
B
I didn't take it as he hated it.
A
I loved it.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, I think it gave some people the ick.
B
Yeah.
C
Are you one of those People.
A
It did not for me.
B
No.
A
I've watched it so many times. It made me so excited to see this show.
B
No, I just got excited to see him in concert again.
C
It is like, he's never done, like, choreographed moves like that.
A
Yeah, but he did. Like, he's. He's such a joyous performer.
B
Yeah.
A
I thought he dances all the time in his shows. Yes. This was a. This was like a dance break moment, like, which does have him. It feels more organic when he's dancing on stage to his music. But it obviously tied in with the music video and everything in the music video. So it made a lot of sense. Sense to me for it to be in the performance.
B
I think it was maybe the screen grabs is why people, like, got there. Like, because if you just, like, had. If you just saw screen grabs of the performance.
A
I love the screen grab this.
B
Well, yeah, no, listen, he looks like he's having a fantastic time.
A
Crazy people thought he looked like he was miss.
B
I didn't think that.
C
Yeah, I feel like he was in character for that because he. Yeah, I saw the dance part and, like, he would, like, do a move and smile and then the smile would go away. But I feel like that was part.
A
It was on purpose too, because I saw people being like, he's being forced into a new era that he doesn't want to be in. He's like, what?
B
No, I don't think Harry Styles would be doing this if he didn't want. I agree. At all. Like, I agree.
C
Someone's making him do, like, choreographed dances.
B
Harry Styles doesn't scream puppet to me. Like, he's, like, forced to do things that he doesn't want to.
A
Yeah.
B
So I think that this is just him exploring.
C
Did you see, like, the whole Jack Whitehall. He hosted the Brits and.
A
Yeah.
C
Did you see, like, they had a whole intro to the show with Harry? That was funny.
A
I did see that.
B
Did you share something on your story of Nick Jonas the other day?
A
No, no,
B
no, no. I'm blanking now.
A
Just the Harry video.
B
Okay. I thought I saw something of Nick Jonas this weekend and now it's.
A
And no, the other thing I wanted to mention was snl because Connor Story hosted snl. Oh, my God, I can't believe we forgot that. And he went from SNL straight to the Actor Awards, which pop off, like, good for him.
B
Booked and busy.
A
So booked and busy. And I was so happy for him. I thought his. I thought his monologue was fantastic. I loved the moment with the. With the hockey players getting the. You Know the Hughes brothers out there, but then we got the ladies out there and I thought that that was so fun seeing like Megan talk about, you know, they both had games earlier in the day. They both make it well timed joke. I thought it was a great, a great close.
B
Yeah.
A
To that whole situation and what a good way to, to do it, I think, you know, on a stage like Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, the rest is. Is tough. And here's my thing. And I saw a lot of people have this take, so it's not exactly an original thought for me. These people are so talented. Like, Connor's story is fantastic and I think he was fantastic in so many of the sketches.
B
God.
A
So a bunch of them were just. I didn't see any of the sketches I watched. I, I didn't watch the show like start to finish, but I watched the. I watched the monologue. I watched and then I watched a ton of. I don't know, at this point on Social they post the whole thing. So it's like on the flight I felt like I watched the whole show on TikTok.
B
You can watch it and catch up.
A
Yeah, that. I was like, oh, man.
B
I just kept saying, seeing people say how bad some of the writing was for the sketches that it did not make me go out of my way to then go watch them.
A
Yeah, that's fair. And a lot of people are like, hey guys, listen up. You got a few weeks to get together for Harry Styles. Get it together.
B
Because Connor is so talented.
A
I know. And honestly, the, the stuff before, like the promo I thought was some of that stuff was even funnier. The promo that they did of like the accent off was really funny because that's such a talent that he has. And there was one musical number, like a full short that I guess did. I guess didn't make the show, but that actually did make me laugh. I was like, oh, this is actually funny. And I guess it was maybe cut for time or something. I didn't know. All I saw was just comments of people being like, why wasn't this in the show? It was kind of ridiculous. But it was a funny song about how car door handles are terrible. Like they've gotten rid of door handles on cars. You can't get in and out of cars. You don't know how to get. You don't have to open them. No car now has a normal door handle. And I thought, oh, this is funny. Like, it gave me a giggle. It was good, but so true. Other than that, you know, I love seeing Hudson jump into the city to a sketch. But even some of those, I just. It just wasn't. I wasn't laughing as much as I wanted to be.
B
How do you feel about Hudson being brought into the sketches? I love it.
A
I think it's great.
B
I think that's awesome. I love that. Like, listen, I think it's great. Why not? They both popped off at the same time. No, I love it. Yeah. There has been discussion, and this is just like the, you know, people who are become very intense stans that there was discussion about, like, why do they both have to do everything that the other one is doing? But I see no issue with why not. I don't either. You know, like, what's the big deal?
A
Yeah, Yeah, I don't either. And they're. And it makes sense because they're both getting such a. Mm. Attention right now for a show that they're in together.
B
Right. And one does not take away from the other.
A
No, it doesn't. And it's also, like, it'll. It'll ebb and flow for the two of them. Like, yes, Connor was asked to host SNL as, like, oh, Hudson's doing an appearance, but, like, who knows what Hudson could be doing? Or maybe next season for show promo, they'll have Hudson host snl. It just always.
B
Everybody eats.
A
Yeah. Yeah, exactly. So I felt like it was a great way. And it's Saturday Night Live. Like, I think it's such an honor to be asked to host. And you could tell it really meant something to him. You know, he was emotional as the show ended. And I think that, you know, it's just. It's still probably one of the coolest things and such a massive, massive accomplishment that I think even as a host, you sort of want to trickle in people that are such a big part of your life or a part of why you are now hosting snl.
B
Right.
A
It's also one of those.
B
I'm sure he wants to share the moment with him. You know, like, they.
A
Yep.
B
This was such a big show for the both of them and. And they're kind of going through this together at the same time. And. Yeah, they clearly have such love for each other and have such a strong friendship that it's like, why not share it with your buddy? You know? So I. I love it. I think it's great. And I'm so happy for Connor. Although maybe he didn't get the best writing. That is not a reflection of his talent because he is so freaking talented.
A
Yeah, exactly. And I still. I appreciate everything he did. In the show, like he, he committed a hundred percent. I thought he was still fantastic and everything that he was in for sure. So definitely. Yep.
B
All right, that sort of wraps up the topics, but we are going to lead into a Traders recap and the weekly watch report. So let's get into it.

B
Time for the traitors finale recap. Finally. Yep, finally. We have made it to the end, my little faithfuls. Yeah, we've made it because my God, did I want to know how this. This fricking ended so bad. I tried every which way to find a spoiler and they kept it locked shut, which I'm really happy about. I'm glad that we were able to watch the final moments and find out together what had happened. But the man did it. The man did it. Rob was the official winner of Traitors. A traitor himself. Yeah. Now listen, did we sort of think Rob was gonna win mostly the whole time? Yes. Was there a little doubt creeping in at the end because of how obvious it was gonna be that he won?
A
Yeah.
B
Also yes. But I think it played out exactly how we suspected it to with Rob winning.
A
Yeah.
B
Did we suspect for it to be Mora and Rob in the end like that? No, I can't say I did. I cannot say that I predicted the way that it was gonna go down between these two.
A
No, but you know what? We should have thought it because they were so close the entire time. I think it just was almost unbelievable to us too, that he could take more all the way to the end and then. And then just double cross her like that. But it's exactly what he did. Gotta do. He played a ruthless game. It's. It is extremely hard to be a day one trader and make it all the way to the end as a solo winner. So he really did play a fantastic game. I think towards the end there, like we had talked about in the last couple weeks, some incredible frustrations as viewers from. From the standpoint of watching some of these faithfuls. As much as I love Johnny and Tara, I just think that it was. They weren't putting two and two together. It just wasn't happening for them. Like, they were not gonna figure this one out or go against each other, and they just, like, honestly, having them together was probably a disadvantage for the faithfuls because they were two people that just had the same mindset and couldn't really get them to. To break off of that. But I think we thought it went down very similar to how we kind of thought, though, like, talking about it last week. Getting rid of Mark, it's probably the best bet. Dramatic fashion, and then having to. To double cross Eric, which I saw people upset about that, that Rob did that. But at the end of the day, and he said it, you know what? I'm going to share money with. What? Why share money with someone? Would you share money?
B
Would you give $100,000 to somebody you
A
met three weeks ago?
B
Yeah, because I wouldn't. Yeah, I was completely fine with him cross at Eric like that because he did it to Candace and Lisa. So it was. He was like, fuck it. Anything to win, I'm gonna do.
C
I.
B
Poor.
A
Yeah, the numbers.
B
Yeah. Poor Tara at the end, because she finally figured it out.
A
Yeah.
B
What? It seemed like she finally had it. Maura just wasn't gonna go against Rob. That was her day one person. That was her number one alliance. She was never gonna go against Rob. So they get Johnny out, then they get. And. And the way that Rob said to Eric, he's like, we go Tara, then we go green. And he just pulled one on him because they then get Tara out. Tara is stunned at Maura. And then.
A
And Mora thought he was totally like, Maura was like, Rob listening to my plan.
B
Yeah.
A
Because Maura was like, okay, so we'll get Tara, but then promise me we'll get Eric. Because she was just so locked in on Eric being a faithful, she did not think about Rob at all. Rob's like, yeah, sure, yeah.
B
And no, he was like, pinky promise. He picked her up, spun her around,
A
and he was like, we're winning this thing.
B
And in that moment, Rob knew he was Gonna win. Because he's like, my plan's about to fucking fall right under my lap. Because what he. What they did was they got tar out. Then it was the three of them. When Rob threw red. Oh, chills. I was like, this fucking guy. So smart, honestly, because Eric's face. When Eric throws green, he throws red. And he just knows it's coming back to him, and they're just. Or just getting him out. I mean, I was completely fine with that. I. I was almost happy. I was like, you know what? Rob's done this whole thing since day one. Yeah. Eric, listen, you tried your best. You had a guy, and you should
C
have seen it coming.
B
Yeah. You should have seen it coming. He fucked over everybody else. You tried. Yeah. But you failed, and that's that. Yeah.
A
And I think here's the thing, too. I don't think Rob was really going to be able to convince whoever it was, whatever faithful was left, that Eric wasn't a traitor, because I think they were so adamant that there was a traitor left and that it was Eric or that, you know, that. That. That would have been suspicious if he really tried to throw people off of Eric. To be like, no. Like, if all of a sudden he was like, I really think we're all faithful guy. Like, I think that would have thrown people off, too. So it made sense to just be like, oh, you guys are all down to go. You guys are down for Eric. Absolutely. Maura. It was brilliantly frustrating to watch because she just refused to look at Rob. And then she had to own it. And she did. She was so shocked. Her face at that last reveal was insane.
C
When she made the joke to Rob, like, oh, like, to try to make him think she was a traitor.
B
Yeah.
A
I was like, oh, you're just like, oh, no. And you could see it. She's like. When he hesitated, she's like, oh, my God. Like, don't tell me. And of course, in the moment, she's super shocked. I think in her interview, like, in the little confessional, she said it in the best way you. You can. So I give her a lot of credit for that. It's like, you know, he got me. I don't know what to say. Took it like a champ. Because you could have a lot of different reactions to that happening.
B
Yeah.
A
I think she's like, damn, I like you, but respect. Because you. You got us all. You played us all.
B
I thought she had a great reaction. I think she had, like, the proper, like, initial reaction of, like, what the. And then, like, you know, what Props. Something that was really sticking with me was that I felt like we never saw their actual mouth say Rob's name as a traitor. Like, you would see them say Eric, but then every time they said rob, it would cut away. Like, you never actually. In the last episode, like, for some reason, you. I felt like you never saw their mouths actually say Rob. Like, it would be, like, shot from behind their head or would be, like, in a confessional but, like, moving fast. Like, I was like, something's off here. Like, I don't know if they're suspecting Rob or if this was edited in after to make them not seem as clueless because I think they're on to Eric, But I don't know about Rob here because the editing was off to me. I don't know if I was just overthinking it, but that's something that I was, like, speculating on while watching. But, I mean, props to Rob. So well deserved. He played an unbelievable game. So smart. Top to bottom. He did what he had to do and he won it all. Like, he just swept the entire game. As for the reunion, shout out to Donna Kelsey, who had some funny lines.
A
I mean, she did.
B
Donna Kelsey had some. Some funny throwaway comments in that reunion for somebody who was, you know.
A
Yeah.
B
Gone the first. The first night. And then as for Candice going at Rob, kind of a low blow to accuse of cheating. Like, you know, I. There is not one ounce of me that thinks he cheated in that game. I think it's just a low blow when somebody wins the whole thing to be like, you cheated. Because I, I.
A
There's really no benefit.
B
There's no benefit. No benefit to a trader telling a faithful that they're a traitor. You both can't win in the end. A traitor and a faithful both can't win. So there would be zero benefit. Yeah. To be. Tell a faithful that you're a traitor.
A
The only thing that I could see is, like, because Colton was so vocal about and now vocal afterwards about how he seemed to really want to be recruited. It's like, maybe that's a conversation, but they can't have that conversation. I don't think, like, Rob said, they can't even have that conversation. That's not. That's breaking the rules. It's not allowed. But. But in a world where if it was, it's like, oh, Rob sells it to Colton as, like, you play with me now, and when I get the opportunity to turn. Turn a faithful into a traitor, it'll. I'll pick you. Like, yeah, but even then, I just don't think that conversation even happens because I don't think they can.
B
And it's so risky. It's like, why would you even have that conversation? You don't know how far Colton's gonna go. Like.
A
Yeah, I mean, he really wanted to become a trader.
B
They're also on camera all the time and being recorded 24 7, like, it's impossible.
C
Really was, like, trying to get recruiters. You just saying that now to try to make it look like he was like, strictly.
A
No, I know. I definitely think he wanted to be recruited.
C
You think?
A
Yeah, because I think he knows he was playing.
C
So you think, like, when he said that hostage thing, like, that was him trying to get recruited?
A
No, no, I don't think that. I think he was just playing a pretty, like, reckless game in general, that once he started just throwing people's names out every second and just, like, being the loudest in the room, that he knew the only way out of that would be to be recruited or he was going to be sent home. Like, I think that's. I think that's pretty fair. And he said that, and I. I believe him when, like. Because I think if you're playing the game that loud and just like, non stop being like, this is the next person. Next person, next person.
B
You.
A
You know, you're not making it to the end unless you get taken in as a trader and then can try and flip it that way.
B
But yeah. Yeah, I just think that I. I thought that Rob kind of played it smart, too. He's like, it's a game. And, yeah, that's really it. Like, how else are you supposed to answer these questions?
A
He's got to get more of Birkenbag.
B
Yes. He owes Maura Birkin, which.
A
Fair.
B
You know what?
C
If I was Eric, I'd be like, can I get something?
B
Didn't promise Eric.
A
Yeah, Yeah. I mean, look, he wasn't him. And him and Eric weren't whispering in the corners, like, we're gonna make it to the end together. Like, it seemed that Rob and Mora were doing from the beginning. And to be honest, like, for Maura, probably best case scenario, right? It's like, she's like, I'm on. I'm on a show. It's a huge success. My fashion was fantastic. I knocked out of the park every single episode, and I'm getting. I'm getting a Birkin out of this for. For making it all the way to the end and losing. So I thought that was funny. Yeah. The housewives Kind of tried to do their housewife housewife stuff in the reunion, of course. I think, you know, Candace and Lisa both coming out at. At Colton a little bit. I thought. I don't know, I thought what Colton said made sense. And in that moment, I think, you know, whatever. They try to give Rapaport a second to give his side. Same with Porsche. It's like they know how to. They know how to speak up at a reunion. So they're going to have the most
B
to say Michael Rappaport was living out like his Housewives reunion.
A
Totally. Totally.
B
So all around. I had a great time watching this season and I think that they're going to have a lot to live up to next season. I think the Traders are going to have a fucking hard time next season. Like I. Not yet though. It's too early.
A
I don't think we're there yet. Pretty like season six seasons.
B
Yeah. Even still, like, I think it's too early to do All Stars.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I think we need to get a couple more under the belt especially because
A
now they're gonna do a normal citizen. Like they're doing a Normie Normie ones, which I think is fun because then down the line, if you want to do All Stars, you can mix it Normie trader players and celebrity trader players for that All Star. Like, if you get the people that do so well on Normie Traders onto an All Star season, have they done
C
All Stars in other.
A
I don't think so.
C
I was wondering, I'm like, when they do an All Stars, like, would they make someone who was a trader a trader again? Or is that like you have like. I was.
A
I don't know. I mean, the pool is huge. If they wanted to combine all the different Traders, you know, there's obviously a ton of people and UK Traders, Aaron
C
Won Traders, Rob Won Traders.
B
I think it's still early on. Would love to see those two on a. On a season together though. I think that would be fun. But I think it's early on in the Traders universe for there to be All Stars. I think we need a couple more.
A
Yeah.
B
But this one was, was so good.
A
Who knows if Rob will come back? You know, he just wants to live his, his, his quiet life. He wants to life.
B
He has a girlfriend.
A
He's got a girlfriend.
B
Yeah. Happy for him. Yeah.
A
Yep. He's like, sam's are coming up rock
B
and maybe we'll see him on Dancing with the Stars. I think he. I think he needs to do Dancing with the Stars and then fade into the Abyss. Yeah. And then come back for Traders All Stars years down the line.
A
I wonder if he would. I wonder if he would do Dancing with the Stars.
B
Part of me thinks that he might not, but if they offer him a pretty penny.
A
Yeah.
B
I could see him changing his mind. I agree.
A
Or I could see, like, the people around him, his family or whatever, being like, what? Like, come on, try this.
B
Dancing with Stars is harmless.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Harmless. Unless you are in the early stages of a new relationship and your girlfriend's
B
like, yeah, like, I would rather you not do that. But I. I don't know, maybe, like, hopefully she would be supportive.
A
You would hope.
B
But that.
A
It's a tricky show.
B
It is. It is, but we'll see. I'm rooting for him to be on there. And great stuff by Maura. I mean, listen. Yeah. She got bamboozled in the end, but what are you gonna do? She put all her trust in Rob. Yeah.
A
And all in the snake charmer.
B
Yeah. Yep. That he is. And I think that wraps up for the trailers recap. I'm gonna miss it, though. I'm gonna miss. I'm gonna really the hell out of it.
A
I really am.
B
I'm gonna miss Mark Battles, Tick tocks and Instagrams. He has been quite entertaining online. Yeah, he was quite, you know, seemingly got a quieter edit on the show, but he has been entertaining and his
C
tick tocks are really funny.
B
They are. I think this has been a great. A great cast.
A
And it was.
B
Look her forward. Looking forward to them announcing the next cast. That's what happens. It wraps up and you go, who do I want on the next one?
A
I. I think they're both on Watch what happens live on this week. They are on Wednesday.
B
I could see, like, Paige DeSorvo doing Traders. I think she would be hilarious.
A
Like some great fashionistas.
B
That's what I'm thinking. Like, just confessional wise and fashion wise, I feel like Paige would be great. That's all I got right now for people who I want on the next season.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Yep, yep.
A
I know. I'm trying to think too.
C
Let's get you guys on there.
B
I would fucking love to be on trainers, but I'm not, you know, famous enough.
A
Imagine they put Paige and Greg on there together.
B
Oh, she wouldn't do it and she shouldn't.
A
I wouldn't either. No, but if they did, it'd be pretty crazy.
C
Having, like, Craig and Austin on there would be funny.
A
Yeah. I feel like Craig would do it in a heartbeat, too. I don't I mean, I don't really know any of them that wouldn't do it at this point. Like what? I. I think it's a top. I think it's a show that's on top of a lot of people's list. Yeah, it's definitely for, you know, competition shows that you would want to do. So.
B
Yeah, that's my traders. My number one. Seems just like a good. Like everyone just gets so close, but you don't know who's lying. Yeah. So hard.
D
Yep.
B
Yep. All right, that wraps up the traders recap.
C
Foreign.
B
We're about to get into the weekly watch report, and honestly, it's the perfect time to crack open my Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. This flavor is cherry vanilla. I'm gonna crack it open in the mic. This.
C
Ooh.
B
Oh, the cherry vanilla flavor is absolutely delicious. Oh, my God, it is so good. Pepsi new prebiotic cola is just what you need. There's a regular cola and also the cherry vanilla. It comes in two flavors. It has the great Pepsi taste, but now with even more to love. No artificial sweeteners, only 5 grams of sugar, just 30 calories and 3 grams of prebiotic fiber. So like I said, there's the original cola flavor and then cherry vanilla. I have cherry vanilla in my hand. Gonna take a sip. Oh, my gosh, it is so good. I cannot wait to have this with my lunch right after. This is just delicious. And it's Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. It's unbelievably Pepsi. So whether you're having your lunch, you're having your dinner, sitting on the couch, sitting back, watching a nice TV show, and you want to crack open a Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, this is calling your name. It's available now, so try it today. All right, let's get into the weekly watch report where we talk about the things we watch this week. Weekly watch report on Monday. Weekly watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Weekly Watch report on Monday. Woohoo. I have watched mostly every episode of what I Like about you on Netflix. So what I Like about you with Jenny Garth and Amanda Bynes is on Netflix. It's been like, at the top. Like, they've been like, promoting it kinda. Sorry, my foot fell asleep. I'm doing a little rearrangement cross. Okay. It's been our throw on at night before bed show. Yeah. Flying through it.
A
Yeah.
B
20 minute episodes.
A
I gotta go back. I. I would actually love to go back and watch that because when it was on, when they would play it on, like, I don't know, Teen Nick or whatever the hell it would play on. Like I was obsessed. Maybe it was like freeform. I don't know. What?
B
ABC Family.
A
Yeah. What? Yeah, yeah. Like whatever. Whatever network it played on, like after Hit had already aired. Because when was it on TV? 2000. Like it early 2006.
B
Like I think it ended in 2006.
A
Right, right, right. So I don't think I was watching it when it was like live live, but afterwards. And I loved.
B
It's just one of those shows that just reminds you of when you watched it, if that makes sense. Yeah, it was on from 2002 to 2006.
A
Definitely was definitely watching it live, but
B
watched it after with the reruns and you know, it's just an easy show to watch. You fly through the episodes. I'll give it a B. It's just comforting. Yep. And also so fair. Sad at the same time. Yep. You know, you're just like Amanda Bond. Like it just makes you.
A
Yeah.
B
Scratch your head.
A
Yeah, you know it does.
B
But that's been a re. Watch Love story. This most recent episode.
C
Yep.
A
I fear, I fear my initial thoughts about him have come back around.
B
Yeah, this is the fifth episode.
A
Yeah.
B
This is the, you know, Battery Park City fight episode. The Proposal and whatnot. Listen, I like this show a lot.
A
So do I.
B
And I will tune in every damn week. This episode in particular was a tough go for our guy, Paul Anthony Kelly.
A
Yeah.
B
Acting wise.
A
Yeah.
B
Thoughts.
A
Yeah, I agree. There's three, there's. There are three things.
B
I made quite the noise when I.
A
Yeah, yeah, look, there are three things I wrote down from, from his moments. And one was the. When he was talking, when he was yelling in the park and it was like talking about why he proposed and he was like, propose out of love. That was one. It was like all one word. Proposal. Proposal.
B
I'm literally choking.
A
There was the kind of like toddler esque tantrum on the sidewalk.
B
Uh huh.
A
Where he said, why can't we just love each other?
B
Yeah. Yeah.
D
And
A
those were like, those are the moments that really popped out at me because here's the thing.
B
What was the third one?
A
No, the tantrum on the side, that was a double.
B
But it was.
A
I find her to be so good that it unfortunately hurts him.
B
Yeah. I think she's out.
A
Does that make sense?
B
She's out acting him all over the place.
A
I just feel like she is like actually believable and I struggle with him and there's moments where I'm like, okay, I get it. And I do think that it is a little bit of. In those moments, like, JFK Jr. Was kind of supposed. They think he's acting like a little bit like a baby. Like, it's. I get it. But
B
I don't know.
A
It's just. It's the performance.
B
Yeah. There was also one that stuck out to me, this episode when they were in the elevator, and he said that he forgot his wallet.
A
Yeah.
B
Just that line in particular, when. If you go back and watch it.
C
Yeah.
B
It's very much like, beat, beat. I forgot my wallet.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Right, right. Almost as if I was casted in a show. How bad my acting would be would be like, I forgot my wallet. Like, I. I couldn't.
A
Yeah.
B
I. Oh, God. I didn't. And here's the thing. I really didn't want to feel this way because I had been getting better. I had been defending Paul Anthony KE up and down with his acting for this show. But this one. I can't defend you, Paul. And here's the thing. I'm wondering. I actually asked.
A
I did think it got better. And then this one, maybe a little dip.
B
I brought this up to Jeff D. Lowe yesterday because I texted him about it, and I said, do we think that this episode was shot first?
C
I was gonna say maybe they didn't shoot chronological.
B
Maybe because a lot of shows don't shoot chronology.
A
They don't shoot chronological.
C
But they would go, like, most important, biggest fight first.
B
I don't know. That's what I'm wondering.
A
They might have. Because there were paparazzi photos of them shooting this scene pretty early on.
B
Right. So I'm like, maybe did they shoot this episode in the beginning and then the other ones later on? Because it took quite a dip.
A
It's scattered.
B
The acting in this episode, to me, is quite different than it's been.
A
Yeah.
B
In the other ones.
A
Yeah, I agree. I agree.
B
But it's still a good show. And I think Sarah Pigeon is wonderful. Yes.
A
She's just so great.
B
I think she's great. I mean, she was great in the wilds too. She was great. She was in. You know what's so crazy?
C
I didn't realize this. I know what you're gonna say.
B
She was in. I know what you did last summer.
A
Yeah.
C
I saw that. Someone tweeted that, and I was like, wait, that was her?
B
No. What? She's a. She's a fabulous actress.
A
Yeah.
B
I think I've said the word fabulous a lot of times today.
A
The blonde has really. The blonde really transformed her.
B
She looks. She's a Great blonde.
C
She's a fantastic natural blonde. Or is she a natural.
B
I think she's a natural brunette.
A
Natural dark.
C
Yeah, because I saw her on the carpet last night. Yeah, she's just like sticking with it.
B
The blonde is working for her.
A
The blonde.
B
I.
A
She can pull off both. But I think it's hard sometimes. It's hard to like when. When you have had darker hair and then you go to the blonde to like, really have the blonde. Be believable. That's the right word to use. You know, like, she really pulls it off.
B
She pulls it off. And now I'm wondering, like, you know, I'm sure you're seeing online this. Everybody wants to be Carolyn Bessette Kennedy.
A
Yeah.
B
Style. I'm, I'm like, are you guys sure you don't want to just be Sarah Pigeon as Carolyn? You know, like, they're watching the show and being like, I want to dress like Carolyn. But you're going on. You're like, really? What you want is to be Sarah Pigeon as Carolyn. I mean, there are a lot of photographs of Carolyn. Yeah, the real life Carolyn that people are going off of. But, like, it was inspired by Sarah Pigeon in the show. So, yeah, you know,
A
it's a major TikTok trend that's kind of like also going overboard too. I've seen so many people, it's like, oh, this the. They're calling it the CP C B K effect. Not to be confused with cpk, which I always want to say, because that's California Pizza Kitchen. Cbk.
B
Yes.
A
Like, I saw a tick tock go viral this weekend of, you know, Saturday at some bar in the West Village and everyone was like, all the girls are dressed the same because everybody wants to look like they want that CBK look, which is just really a timeless aesthetic in general. But it is, quote, unquote, trendy, I guess, right now because of the show.
B
So I will also say, though, like, anything will look good on like a six foot, skinny model type of a body.
A
You know what I mean? Is she that tall, Sarah Pigeon?
B
I don't know. She's 6 foot, but she's like 5, 9 or 510 around there.
A
She does look tall. You know, that's deceiving. Let's see what Google says. How tall is she? 5 10.
B
5 10, you know?
A
Yes, she's tall. That's tall.
B
Yeah.
A
Yep. I agree. How tall was Carolyn?
B
I feel like, probably pretty tall.
C
You think?
A
Five' nine?
B
Yeah. So it's.
C
What'd you. What did you guys think of Ethel at The table better than Jackie.
B
Ethel scared, man.
C
Oh, yeah. But I'm like, that was absurd. Like, do you think that actually happened? Like, that was crazy. She was just grilling everyone on politics.
B
I feel like maybe that did happen.
A
I don't know. I don't really believe anything from the show. I don't take a single. I don't take a single thing really as fact, because we don't know for sure. Yes, sure. Like, there's been books and all that written about the family, but not. It's always from, like, outsiders.
C
It's like, take your scarf off.
A
It's never like, from the actual family themselves.
B
I thought Carolyn's scarf was so chic in that scene that I, you know, she had to take it off.
A
But I certainly believe they sat around the table talking about politics. Yeah.
C
Maybe not in that fashion.
B
I know, but I believe it in some extent that that happened. But yeah, not as like, as exactly
C
farther down the table.
A
Yeah, like, yeah, it's like we all.
B
How do we know that? You know what I mean?
A
Like, I think a lot of speculation what exactly they were fighting about in the park. We know they were fighting because there's pictures of them fighting. Right.
B
But we don't know if they were fighting.
C
Yeah, we don't.
A
We don't really know like, what allegedly. Exactly. They were fighting.
B
I just want to love you.
A
There's stories.
B
What did you write yesterday?
C
It was one of the other quotes. It was, why can't we just love each other?
B
Yes. Wait, I'm going back to read it. Sorry, I keep picking up my phone. I didn't realize that.
C
Robert.
B
Why can't we just love each other? Why can't we just love each other?
C
Sitting on the sidewalk, like. And he said it like a kid. He was like a kid.
A
It was a. That was my line. It was a tantrum on the sidewalk like a little kid.
B
Yeah, that was tough. But I will give it. I'll give this episode a B minus. I'll give this episode a B minus. It is lower than the others.
C
I think if you watch it kind of like, it's funny in a way. Like it could. That's kind of how I'm watching it. Like those. I was laughing at some of those moments.
A
You know what I really love, though? They have. And I know we've talked about the music before. Just when they use. Is great popular songs, but. But Carolyn and JFK have, like. They have, like, a little melody like that goes with the show. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like the background melody. Like when things are good between them.
B
Yes, yes.
A
And it's a beautiful. It's a beautiful little number. I love it. Like, every time it plays, I'm like, oh, it's like a warm hug. I'm like, these two are in love. Like, it's.
B
It's.
A
It's not. It's not an act. Like, it's obviously made for the show. It's the, you know, whatever it's called. Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'm like, what. What am I. What's the word I'm looking for?
C
Score.
A
Score. Thank you. It's, you know, just like the background score that is playing. But it's. It's lovely.
B
No, it is.
A
It's lovely.
B
It is lovely. And I. I still think that the two of them have great love chemistry.
A
They do. They do.
C
I think the guy who. The Calvin Klein character is one of the better characters. Like, I buy into him. I don't. I know nothing about Calvin Klein, but I. He fascinates me.
B
Oh, the guy who's playing Calvin.
A
Yeah, yeah, he's good. But I'm. That's another one that I'm curious about because it's like, I feel like they're really playing up how pissed he was about this whole situation.
C
Yeah.
A
Like this snarky, like, oh, you can't get your boyfriend to come to my party. Like, I'm like, I don't really know if Calvin Klein care this much. Like, maybe he did, maybe he did,
B
but I don't know.
A
Yeah, but, yeah, look, there's. I'm sure there's a million books, and I've seen people looking for it. They're like, I need source material. Like, where's the documentary? Where's the. Like, give me the real shit of, like, where I can learn what's going on.
B
Give us the actual stories.
A
Because there's all. There's books. There's plenty of books and stuff that you can read and. But once again, it's not like,
B
you
A
know, Caroline Kennedy hasn't written an expose on her family.
B
Right. And by the way, we, like, people never heard Carolyn talk, so.
A
No, we.
B
We don't know.
A
There's, like, barely anything.
B
Like, we're just going off Sarah Pigeon. Yeah. And she's just a great actress. I think she's just doing a great job.
C
Like, everyone's using, like, It Ain't over till it's over song on everything now, like, out of nowhere because of this. I feel like everyone's like, I've seen a million tiktoks of guys, like, trying to dress like JFK junior Now.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's. It's taken over on both sides.
B
It is, yeah. Especially New York City.
A
Yeah.
B
A lot of love topics today. I got Love Island All Stars and love is blind.
A
Yeah.
B
Love story. Love Island. Love Island All Stars. I don't know which way I want to go with this. I'm going to go Love Island All Stars next. All caught up.
A
Yeah.
B
Finished it. This was quite the season. It was.
A
It was a.
B
It was a lot to swallow towards, you know, middle to the end with all the fighting all the time. Oh, my God. Lucinda, Pied, Sammy, and how much are they gonna fight about this? And Belle and Scott. It is. Was. It felt like it was never.
A
Never ending.
B
Ending. The fights just kept going and going and going. It was good cast, though. Entertaining. And I'm always. Here's the thing, though. I'm always bored by the finale.
A
Yeah.
B
Because as much as the drama gets tiring, when it's the same thing, then you're at the end and you find out the winner, and that's that. But I will say I'll give it a B plus.
A
Yeah.
B
All around.
A
Yeah.
B
Not one of my favorite seasons, but it was entertaining enough that I caught up on all of it.
A
Surprising win for me. I'm not gonna lie.
B
You think so?
A
Yeah. I. I just. I don't know if it's just because the discourse I saw online really had nothing to do with it with those two, which I guess maybe is why they slid to the top. It's like they were. Because towards the end, yes, Sammy was involved in the drama with Lucinda, and that was kind of it. But like, the last couple weeks, I. It's like you heard Kieran speak four words. You know, it's like they weren't really getting a lot of air time because the drama had to do with so many other couples.
B
I thought that maybe just because. That it wasn't. Because they weren't really drama, is that they were, like, kind of solid. And then I thought Millie was maybe
A
gonna take it just because. Because everybody loves Millie so much, and Millie is great. I do love watching them all after the show. So, like, now they're all on TikTok. Like, Lucinda, Lucinda, and Sean are making all the tiktoks together.
B
When Lucinda and Sean asked if. If people thought they were gonna get married. Yeah, I was like, these. These two, you know, like, it was. I am not so much like on the. I hate Lucinda or I hate. Like, she was very annoying at a Lot of. A lot of parts. And really, she's like a reality TV player and, like, really frustrating. And I could see why the girls were getting fired up. But then I kind of switched my tune where I was just like, you know what? I'm just gonna take her for what she. What she is.
A
100 point.
B
And.
A
And I really do think Sean is so obsessed with her. And I'm. What, like these. I'm telling you, these TikToks are unreal. I've only seen a few of them because they have only been out for so long. But one of them, she's doing a full, like, singing in the shower. Singing in the shower. But when it cuts to singing in the shower, it's Sean fully clothed in the shower, like, and she's dancing in the mirror. He's singing in the shower. And then they didn't. Another one, like, she loves, like, the cheesy saying tick tocks. You know, where it, like, starts with her and there's like, words on the top is like. Like when they tell you you need this, and it's like. But you get like, whatever. And it's something like that. And she's in front of her bed, and the bed is made, and Sean is underneath the covers completely, and she falls back onto the bed, and he, like, wraps her in the creative TikToks.
B
I gotta catch up.
A
It's crazy, but no, they're literally all on TikTok. I know. Millions. Zach are getting caught up on all of Zach's TikToks. And here's the thing. Like, they're like, oh, the dancing TikToks. All these things cringe. Like, Zach social media presence is so cringy to me. And they're acting like he was posting these videos years ago. I'm like, they. How about three months ago? You know, like, they're not that long. We'll see how that one goes. I really hope it goes well because Millie really does seem to like him a lot. I just kind of need. I appreciate the content. I don't know. I go back and forth. I kind of need him to put down his phone for, like, a couple days. Because I'm like, every time I open up TikTok, it's a clip of him from a live stream or a TikTok Live or Instagram live, or they're answering fan questions or they're vlogging or they're doing something where I'm like, can you put your phone down for like, a weekend?
B
I think these people, they just get. They get on the show and they get so caught up with. With how into it people are and they want to capitalize immediately, but it almost seems like they're never off their phone. It felt like, like this past season of Love Island USA this summer. Yeah. It was like they were on their phone constantly. They. They could never put it down.
A
Like, I'm like, he's gonna put his phone down one time.
B
Yeah. It's not gonna be healthy for you or the relationship.
A
Yeah. Yeah. But look, I'm happy with. I'm happy with who won. It just. I definitely surprised me. I thought.
B
Me too. I wasn't too surprised. Too surprised. Because I. I don't. I wasn't seeing a lot of discourse online, like, as I was watching, because I was behind.
A
Yeah.
B
So I really didn't see many of people talking about anything. Yeah. But from what I was watching, I just felt like, oh, they were locked in and weren't really involved in that much drama, like, couple wise. So I was like, okay.
A
Right.
B
I guess that makes sense.
A
Right? No, they seem like a very solid.
B
Yeah. So. Yeah. Yeah, I will give that a B plus. And then Love is Blind.
A
Got some notes on Love is Blind.
B
I mean, these are some of the worst people I've ever seen, to put it, you know, lightly on this show. Yeah. And in general on. On my TV screen as a whole. Right.
A
I don't know if it's recency bias, because there's been some pretty awful humans on Love is Blind before, but these two really seem to take the cake. The continuation of that conversation in the bar with Chris and Breezy and him being like, you ever been to the Four Seasons? No, like the Four Seasons thing. The Andrew Tate comment was wild. It's like, oh, everybody thinks I'm Andrew Tate.
B
It's like, maybe you should take a look in the mirror then if that. That's what everyone's saying to you.
A
Yeah. It's just like, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. No one would have known that if you didn't bring that up yourself, that everyone on the cast is calling you that maybe don't say that out loud.
B
Insane. It's not a good thing. No, no, it's horrible.
A
And then the comments from Alex, just really. Some crate. Like, I texted you this where I'm like, I'm ready to jump to the level of perhaps serial killer. Like, I am so freaked out by him.
B
Calling him a gaslighter would be putting it lightly.
A
Lightly.
B
It's like, like so far beyond that that I don't even Know if there's a word for it besides potential serial killer vibes? Because that whole conversation between Ashley and Pre.
A
Yeah.
B
Right. Pra.
A
Yeah.
B
Was hard for me to wrap my head around because he was lying. And then. And then he decided, okay, I'm actually not. I'm not going to lie anymore. And then tried to make them feel great.
A
Yeah.
B
And the way that he was speaking to both women really was, like, disgusting as well.
A
The comment he made about, like, oh, well, let me tell you. I'll tell you every time I jerk off. Then I was like, all right.
B
Yeah, all right. Like, okay. Really? This is what we're gonna jump to?
A
Yeah. You're gonna. You're gonna be this pathetic.
B
Yeah. Like, he. No, no, he's scary.
A
He's a little scary.
B
I'm not gonna lie.
A
And we. The two of us talked about this. A girl went viral on TikTok, talking about how. Like, he's talked about how he got on the show, that a recruiter, like, reached out on LinkedIn or something, whatever it was. And he keeps talking about his nomadic lifestyle, and he's jumping from this place to this place. And she was like, I think that he just signed up to do the show because it was, like, a solid place to stay for a couple months because he just seems like he's couch surfing.
B
He was like, I'll be able to stay with Ashley. Sounds good. No, the way that he operates as a whole, the way he thinks, acts, talks, lives his entire life is so absurdly suspicious to me. I cannot stand him. I hate this man. I really do. I. I can't wrap my head around him being a real human being. I also cannot deal with men who speak like this to women.
A
I know.
B
Don't make her and your friend.
A
Yeah.
B
Feel like idiots. Yeah. Like, oh, God. It really just really revved me up.
A
I couldn't agree more. Just a shout out to the. To the editing on the conversation that they were having back at their house where Alex was like, I'll order. I'll order you McDonald's. And they're like, talking about their McDonald's order. And I will go down with this. I will put my. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is fan. I mean, I was actually crying, laughing, like, buffalo. And she's like, he's like, 10 nugs.
B
Buffalo.
A
Buffalo, honey, must.
B
And it's like, you want fries?
A
I will go down with this. You want to make chicken and surrender?
B
And she's like, this.
A
She's like, buffalo. Yeah.
B
What was like. What was he Trying to do there. Was he trying to act like he knew her McDonald's order.
A
Like, was that supposed to be impressive? He was like, he was like trying to cheer her up.
B
Yeah. And then. Honestly, bizarre. I kind of went down like, like, you know, because he's so rude and foul. In my mind. Yeah. I feel okay making this comment because there has been suspicion of, like what he even does for a living or does he not even have a place to stay? I'm like, he's ordering Ubereats. Yeah. Like, I'm like, you know.
A
Yeah, I know, I know.
B
That's an extra delivery charge. Maybe you should go through the drive through.
A
Yeah. It's crazy. The other thing, the other thing. I, I hope, I hope Jordan and Amber can figure things out. I had a feeling that this would be a hiccup, you know, because I think Amber heard that her comments. He was being about being nervous. But then Jordan crack. There was one thing Jordan said, said to Connor when they were talking about Chris that Connor, Jordan was like, you should have just sent him a picture of your balls.
B
Basically back.
A
I said, these guys, there's just a lot going on. They did their dress fittings and the, and the tuxes. All that was going on in this episode, these episodes. Britney having her dress already. You know, I'm just like, sweet, sweet girl. Like, I, I, she wants to get married so bad, but I'm like, this isn't the guy.
B
You know, I am begging Britney to not marry devonte. This man has no personality whatsoever. He, like, she's so badly. And I feel bad saying this because I think Britney is so bubbly and beautiful and has a smile that lights up a room. And I feel like she deserves a really great person who is gonna sweep her off her feet in the way that she wants to be loved. I, I do think that there is a guy out there that is going to love her the way she wants to be loved.
A
Yeah.
B
But she wants to get married so badly that she's willing to just marry devonte without. I, I don't. He, he is not the person that she needs, I don't think or loves. And then on top of that, Devonte's like, you know, he wants to get a prenup.
A
Yeah.
B
They don't really know each other.
A
Yeah.
B
So I'm like, britney, sign the prenup. Like this whole conversation, like, her not wanting to sign a prenup. You don't. You barely know this man. You know what I mean? Like, you should want to sign this prenup. You don't know him.
A
Absolutely. I almost hope, because the prenup is the right move, and I don't fault devonte on bringing it up. However, I hope that it upsets Britney enough that she doesn't want to marry him.
B
Right. I just. Exactly. I hope that she does not. I get what you're saying.
A
Yeah. Like, she shouldn't be mad about it.
B
She shouldn't be mad about it, but
A
I hope that she is because then she won't marry him.
B
Exactly. I get exactly what you're saying, because him bringing it up is actually a good thing because. And her being so taken aback by it, I think is like, we were talking about this, is like, I think she'll. She just wants to get married and just will marry whoever at this point, but hopefully she does not, because this is not it. Like, he's just not giving anything, and you can tell she's somebody who wants to be loved, like, out loud and, like, be showered with compliments and. And have that, you know, physical and, you know, words of affirmation and all
A
those things for her to have to be like, I just need to, like, get used to the way that you show love, all these things. It's like, well, you really don't, because you've known this guy for four weeks, so you can. You can just not marry.
B
You can just not marry him, and
A
you can and find somebody.
B
Somebody out there that will do that, because it exists. And I want that for her because she's saying, like. Like, I know you're not gonna be the one to, like, tell me I'm pretty. Like, what?
A
Yeah, what?
B
Your husband should be telling you how beautiful you are all the time.
A
And he's, like, sitting across the table like, yeah, yeah, you're right.
B
And then. And then, like. Like when she was talking about, oh, like, the girls were asking, you know, how you'll react when you see me in my dress. And like, I. I just said, like, I know you won't really say much. It's like, what?
A
Yeah, yeah. You don't want conversation. You do not want that sad conversation. So sad.
B
I. I, like, I just feel so. She's seems so sweet.
A
I know.
B
And. Oh, God, it. I really hope she doesn't marry this man. Yeah. Really?
A
I. I agree. Breezy and Connor broke up. I'm not quite sure. You know, my ears were open. Like, I was watching. I was listening. I can't really, really tell you anything that these two talked about in the 10 minutes that we watched them break up. And then all of a Sudden, it was like it was over. And. And I was like, I think they just broke up. But they didn't really outwardly say it was, like, ending. It started in such a weird way. The conversation started. They were just really, like, complimenting each other. And Breezy was seemingly so appreciative for how he was showing up for her. And somehow it led to. Yet something still isn't right. And talking about, like, if they would say yes or no at the altar. And Breezy was. I think I'd say no. And it was like, well, there's your answer. If you're already thinking that now. It was kind of hard to follow. I'm not gonna lie.
B
I had the same reaction where I was confused that they even broke up.
A
Yeah. I was like, was that a breakup? I'm not quite sure what just happened.
B
I had to get.
A
Because then it was like, but do they still want to stay together, just not go to the altar? Like, it was it like. Like, let's just date and not be engaged. But at that point, it felt like she had these underlying feelings about him anyway, which is like, does that go away with time or not? I don't know. I guess we'll find out what happened. But, like, that was the most confusing breakup ever.
B
I had to get double confirmation online that they did break up because I was like. Or didn't. Or whatever was happening there because I was confused.
A
So they're not gonna have a wedding.
B
I also. I felt like, by the way, what Connor was saying about her was so lovely. You can tell that he really was starting to admire her.
A
I really liked Connor coming down to the end here.
B
Yeah. When she was talking about Connor, it was just about herself, really. Like, she just loves that he loves her.
A
Right.
B
But not. Not necessarily qualities about him.
A
Connor.
B
Yeah. So that was kind of odd. And so I guess why she wouldn't, you know, marry him. Right.
A
It was like a lot of, like, here's all the things that I like
B
that you do for me.
A
For me. But you as a person.
B
Yeah.
A
Maybe I'm not as attracted to. I don't know.
B
I thought Connor was lovely down to that.
A
I thought Connor was lovely as well. He seems like. Seems like one of the guys that has. Maybe he doesn't have everything in his life figured out, but seems like he had a good. Good head on his shoulders.
B
I mean, comparable to the rest of them. Jesus Christ.
A
Right.
B
At that. Really stands out.
A
Doesn't take much at this point. Right. So. Yeah, I guess that's. That's a breakup I'm sure maybe we'll get more details on. On how that all went down, if they did try and date afterwards or not. We got left on the cliffhanger, as always of a wedding. It was Emma and Mike and kind of a fake out. Didn't really know. Like, Emma kind of sound like it was maybe a no, but ended up being a yes. I. I just unfortunately think Mike's gonna say no. I just.
B
It.
A
It sucks. And I feel like their families are so sweet. And it's clearly taken a toll on Mike's parents, if you can tell from. From the way they were talking and. And both ways. But it's like Emma's his sister. Seemed like 100 in on Mike. Like, they really, really, really like Mike, which is great, but I just don't see a world where Mike says what he says said at the altar about the kids thing where he's like, I just need to know that that's a yes. And then he's like. And then. And then he says he has to get him married.
B
Yeah.
A
Because he doesn't know it's a yes.
B
Right.
A
So him being like, I need to know if it's a yes. Well, he actually has no clue if it's a yes. So how is he gonna say yes right now? I'll be shocked if he says yes, which sucks because I love Emma. I think she's so, so sweet. But I don't. I don't know how he says yes when. With the kids thing being so up in the air.
B
It's such a ginormous thing that I. So huge. I can't see it either.
A
So huge. So I'm curious that the rest of the weddings will find out what happens. There's always one that I. That. That shocks me that both say yes. So we'll see who that one is.
B
I'm really hoping it's not Brittany and Devonte. I will give a B to Love is Blind. Watch Summer House.
A
Yep.
B
I'll give Summer House a B. Yeah. Kind of rapping.
A
I need Jesse to like. Jesse's gotta stop with the. With the Sierra thing.
B
Yeah, it's weird. It turned weird because I also need Wes to stand up and say, I think it's weird. Yeah. Yeah. You know Wes, I could tell what he was trying to do. He. You know, you get put in that awkward conversation, and Wes is sort of like, you know, Ben and KJ Were saying it was weird, and other people are saying it's weird. Wes thinks it's weird, Right.
A
If he's like, I Think if it was anybody else, they would. You'd be. They'd say you're like a weirdo or is like, no, you could just call him a.
B
Right. You can just do that yourself. So just stand up. Stand up. Yes. You got this.
A
Because it is.
B
It is bizarre.
A
And.
B
And then Jesse was like. Like. Jesse was like, well, just because it's weird doesn't mean I'm like, stop.
A
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, that, like, that was like, Jesse talking his way out of it was weird, too, that I thought that, like, made me uncomfortable to be a really good friend. You're like, oh, just because it's weird. Like, I'm not gonna not do it. Which is like, what? And it's also like. And he was like, enough times pass now.
B
Wes and Ciara, like, had a. You know, they really. They had a relationship and they had, like. Like, yeah, there was, like, drama to it. And Wes and Jesse are, like, really close friends.
A
And it's also weird because it's like, why jeopardize? I don't know. I think Jesse's just really under playing his feelings. I think Jesse actually really likes Sierra and would be, like, 100% in on it being a real thing. However, he's kind of going, like the pussy route of like, oh, but, like, if we just make out for fun, you know, just be for jokes and laughs, it's like, actually, no, you'd have more of a leg to stand on if you were like, I really like Sierra and I want to pursue it instead of. Because then you're like, why risk your friendship with west over a drunk makeout? That'd be a joke. Like, you're saying it's a joke, so why even bring it up? Yeah, why risk having a big drama happen? Just own up and be like, I really like Sierra. And then that's a different conversation. And which is why I think Sierra's gonna get pissed. Being like, why would you say it's for a joke?
B
Like, that's lame. It's also rude. I want to break out with someone as a joke.
A
Like, I don't know. Maybe we'll just make it as a joke because they're. They are very touchy.
B
They are very touchy.
A
So I'm like, I don't know.
B
Maybe like.
A
Like, I don't know what's going on there. I don't know what is going through Sierra's head with that because it's like, does she like him like that? Does she not. Does she see him as just like a best Friend that they just have that flirty relationship with. But I'd be pissed, too, if, like. Oh, I just want to make, like, if we just made out as a joke, it wouldn't be, like, a real thing, like. No. Well, now you're just causing drama for no reason. Just be a man and say you like me. He's talking about writing a song about a friend that he's in love with. Like, okay, Jesse.
B
Yeah. Yeah, it was. It took a weird turn, but I will give Summer House, I think I said already a B. Yeah. I'm loving Lindsay.
A
Yeah.
B
Lindsay's have been fantastic for me.
A
Yeah.
B
She's cracking me up. She's like, she was a former publicist and now milf. Like, she's. She's just got some funny.
A
Yeah, she has been good. She hasn't been good. She just seems like she's in a really good place, you know?
B
Yes. Yes.
A
Which is good.
B
So I'm excited to keep watching. It's, you know. Yeah. Sort of the same thing every week, but I enjoy watching them. And I.
A
And I like. I like Mia a lot. I think she fits into the house perfectly. And Bailey, too, I think, has been. Has been really funny. Like, she's. I appreciate her honesty. I appreciate, like, her fully being herself.
B
Yeah.
A
And, like, putting it all out in the open, her feelings, like, joking about Ben, like, all these things. She's not hiding behind anything, which. Which I like.
B
Yeah. She's totally being herself. Like, even, like, the awkward flirting, I think is hilarious. I think it's cute. Like.
A
Yeah.
B
No qualms with the newbies?
A
No, no, none. So,
B
yeah, that's everything I watch. I'm catching up on Southern charm. I did see some highlights from the episode this week that. Oh, wow. Doesn't look like a good one for Craig. It's gonna catch up.
C
That's.
B
That's gonna be my plane. Watch. To catch up to chat with Sally. Molly, it wasn't.
A
I watched. I watched on the way home from. From Turks and, you know, they're on this trip in Mexico. Sally is just being herself. And I respect that, too. I know it's like rubbing some people the wrong way or this, that, the other thing. Look, she's got a crush on Austin. She saw an opportunity. She pushed him into the men's bathroom
B
and made out with him. Like, I, I.
A
It's just. And Austin's like, I respected the move. Like, she just clearly took control of the situation. But at the same time, they've been drinking all day, like, a lot. Tequila tasting to Dinner, to the bar, to the whole thing. And yeah, you. That was a. That was a drunk Craig that was not at his best. And I think Sally kind of pokes his buttons anyway, and her being, like, her normal, like, sassy self, whatever. Just, like, he went off and not in a bad way. There's really no. I, I. There's not a lot to excuse behavior like that. So he was obviously very, very drunk. But it did. It did not seem. It did not seem good. And the same even with Vanita. I don't know. Like, I know she really bothers Craig as well, but I think at a certain point, you have to, like, bite your tongue and not have it escalate to that level because it's like, you know, Vanita doesn't like you, you know, so why. Why make it a bigger thing? You're not gonna get her to like you by yelling at her. So, yeah, it's a tough one for Tough, tough episode for Craig. And I feel like Charlie's in a weird place trying to navigate it all, too. So that's. That's tricky because I, I don't get why she is hiding that she made out with Craig. Like, you're all gonna. You're all gonna watch it happen when the show comes out. I always think about that when they're filming for reality tv. It's like she's like, oh, I just didn't want to, like, tell Sally everything about me and Craig. Okay, fair. But she's gonna find out when she watches it, so why not just be like, I made out with Craig.
B
Yeah. Would you rather deal with an hour later?
A
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly. So I guess in that moment, you're like, I just deal with this later. But yeah, yeah, but yeah, that's Southern charm.
B
Yeah, that's everything I watch.
A
Yeah. Okay, I'll grade. My love story is a C. A very enjoyable C. Like, I'm liking it. I'm enjoying my Watch it. This past episode was.
B
Let's just get some. Let's get Pak in some fashion classes.
A
Is this one was a C. Traitors. Is an A finale. Fantastic. Love is Blind. I'll give a B plus. I guess there's this really just the finale of Love Island, Australia. Love on Australia. Love Island All Stars. B. I mean, I don't know. It's a finale. Like, like you said, I kind of fast forward through half of it anyway.
B
Yeah. You're like, show me the winner. Winner.
A
Yeah. Summer House. I'll give B plus. Southern charm. I'll give a B plus. This is A. It was a fiery episode. Fiery episode.
B
And
A
I'm caught up on shrinking. That's episode five. Shrinking is an A. I just love this show so much. I know I say it every single time, but it is such a great show. Always makes me laugh. Love it. And I think I need to grade. I think I need to grade Seven Kingdoms. Night of the Seven Kingdoms. Because I had not watched it by last Monday. I think I watched it last Monday night. That finale was an A. Great show. Loved it. Big fan. Can't wait for another season. After I watched the finale, my entire Instagram was flooded by this kid. Cutest kid on the face of the planet. I don't know. Like, I'm, like, obsessed with him. This Dexter. What a star. Put him in everything. Oh, my God, he's so fucking cute. And their relationship is so cute. But this is what I had reshared this on my story. But he's, like, on the carpet. He's in this rainbow sequin suit. I'm like, I'm obsessed with this kid. He's just got great energy. I love when they're, like, talking about the other Game of Thrones stuff. House of Dragon, Game of Thrones. He's like, well, obviously I haven't seen it. I'm 11. So he's trying to piece the characters together. He's like, oh, that's my granddaughter with all these things. It's just. He's a star. I'm obsessed with him. Love, love, love.
C
And.
A
That is. Yeah, I think that's everything I watched.
B
Nice. I'll give Traders an A plus, by the way. I didn't grade it.
C
Okay. I watched Paradise.
B
Yeah.
C
First three episodes of Paradise.
A
Yeah, I gotta watch that.
C
Very different than last season, obviously. Mainly one because it's, like, focused on Shailene Woodley, who's now in the show. But I like how it's all being tied together. Like, now we're on the outside of the bubble and seeing how, like, the survivors of that are living, and it's not great.
D
Right?
C
And then.
A
Because now they all know that they're people that were alive on the outside the whole time.
B
Yeah, Right.
C
But we're seeing it from, like, their perspective of, like, they don't even know about this, like, little secret bubble. Secret bubble. They're just, like, trying to survive in the woods.
B
Right.
C
And I think Shanley Woodley's good. And then the way that they connect her to. What's his name, the main character?
A
Sterling K. Brown.
C
Yeah, Sterling K. Brown is cool. And I'm excited for where it's gonna go because, like, I do want to get back in the bubble. I'm like, all right, three episodes. Like, time to go back in. But I'll give it a B plus. Good start. I finished Landman season two, so now I'm caught up for, like, whenever the next season comes out. That's a really good show. There's certain points that are, like, absurd and funny me, but it's a good show and, like, great actors. Billy Bob Thornton, he's always gonna put it on.
A
Yeah. Can I just say, I've not watched any of Landman, but my God, did Ali Larder look fantastic at this point at the actor.
B
Holy.
A
She. She just turned 50. She is so hot. It's insane. Insane.
B
She looks so good.
A
So good. It's really off to say she looked fantastic.
C
One thing with the show is. Is the. The way that they have, like, the ages for their characters are so funny because she's married to Billy Bob Thornton in real life. She's like.
A
She just turned 50.
C
Yeah, she's turned 50. I think Billy Bob Thornton's like, in his 70s, so he's like, way older than her. And then Billy Bob Thorn's dad, what's. He's a famous actor. I can't think of his name, but he was in. He was Bradley Cooper's brother in Billy
A
Bob Thorin's dad is Sam Elliot.
C
Yeah. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, they look like they're brothers at best. Like, Billy Bob Thornton could be older than the show in the show.
B
Oh, oh, oh.
A
I was like, no way.
B
But like, impossible.
C
Yeah.
A
So, like, in the show, Sam Elliott plays Billy Bob Thornton.
C
They're only 11 years difference in real life, but they honestly, like, no offense
A
to Billy, he tried to age Billy Bob down.
C
Yeah.
A
And he does, like, he kind of looks.
C
No, they look the same age. And then like, Michelle Randolph is playing like she's just out of high school, but she's actually like, the actual ages are so funny. You just kind of have to like, ignore that. But very good show. Very good show. So I'll give that a. I'll give that a B. Plus the beauty.
A
I'm not have.
C
I'm not caught up the last episode. It's kind of getting crazy. Like, it's starting to. I'm not really like, that familiar with Ryan Murphy and, like, I just kind of know his role rep of, like. I wouldn't say like bad shows, but, like, bad, good shows kind of thing.
A
Well, just. It's. It's really all across the board.
C
Yeah.
A
Because some are fantastic. Like, there are seasons of American Horror Story that are considered highest, like, you know, fantastic levels of television.
B
Fantastic. And you guys have never watched American Horror Story, but by the way, I
A
would put Glee in that category, too. Like, American Horse Glee was fantastic. So it's just, you know.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
But, yeah, it's definitely, like, there's a lot of action in this past episode. I won't give it away, but a lot of people getting killed. And I'm still, like, I'm still into it. I'll give this one a B minus. It's kind of going, like, a little down for me from where it started. But Traders. I'll give a B plus just because I'm combining the reunion, where the reunion was like, nothing to me.
A
Like, oh, yeah. I'm counting the reunion out of my grave.
B
I'm not putting the reunion.
C
And part of me is like, it was such a good moment, but at the same time, it is what I expected to happen. Rob winning. So it wasn't like, the Mora thing was funny. I did. Leading up to her realizing, like, when they were trying to get Eric out, I feel like they edited it in a way where she was really suspicious of Rob when she wasn't. I don't know if you saw that, but she was, like, suspicious. They edited it where she was, like,
A
looking at Rob or Tara.
C
No, Maura, they edited it in a way where I feel like they tried to make it seem like she was like, wait, is it Rob? Is it Rob? But, like, I don't think that ever. It was just editing, I think. But obviously, like, great moment. And the Pit. I'll give an A minus.
A
Oh, shit. I watched the pit yesterday, too.
B
I forgot.
C
Yeah. It's just probably the best show on tv.
A
Yeah. I don't know how I always forget to put that. Like, it's like, when I'm talking about the shows, I just seem to always forget. I literally watched it yesterday. Yeah. That was a good episode.
C
Yeah.
A
I'll give that an. I'll give that a. A minus as well, I would say. I don't know. I'm very intrigued to see, like,
B
Where
A
it all kind of ends.
C
Yeah.
A
With the day.
B
I don't know.
A
Like, it's like, how many episodes do we have?
C
I don't even know. I didn't realize, like, we had, like. I thought it was going to be closer, but last. Last year, I was saying, there's like, 14 last year.
A
Oh, maybe. So I forget. I forgot how Many episodes were in season one.
C
Yeah. But the chaos with, like, no technology and everything is cool.
A
Yeah, yeah.
C
So I'll give that name JFK Jr. We talked about it. I'll give it a C. Like, like I said from the beginning, like, that that's the worst part of the show is his acting. I saw one person online say, like, also with the. Like, JFK junior's style is a huge thing. And it's like, in this show, he's not wearing the clothes. The clothes are wearing him. Where it's like, he can't pull this off.
A
Damn. I disagree with that.
B
Damn.
A
I disagree with that, too.
B
I think he pulls off the clothes.
A
I think he does as well. I totally does.
C
What do you think about the hair color? I see people talking about this too, where I was like, like, why is his hair not the same color as JFK Jr?
B
I'm not stuck on any of his looks. I'm just stuck on the acting.
A
Once again, Noah's always stuck on the guy's looks.
B
Yeah. I'm not like, the guy.
C
The acting is by far the worst part. But I. When I say that, I'm not like,
A
oh, my God, what a jarring difference in hair color.
B
I didn't notice that either.
C
I feel like in the show it looks like his hair is jet black, but then when you look at JFK Jr. In real life, it was like, more of like a brown.
B
Oh, I didn't think his hair looked black in the show.
A
Oh, Mile, call the authorities.
B
He's like, I haven't noticed.
A
I don't know. It seems like JFK's hair was a little more brown than what they did for him.
B
I thought it looked brown in the show.
C
Yeah. I don't know. That's not my.
B
Maybe it's the lighting you're watching it on.
C
Yeah, maybe.
A
I mean, he's got pretty dark hair. Noah, like, it's.
B
It's like a dark brown.
A
It's dark brown.
C
Yeah, yeah. I'll just say, like, yeah, the. The acting and I don't know, maybe
A
the summer months, it got a little lighter.
C
Yeah. The actual acting is the worst part, definitely. But I also don't think the show. I think the writing is pretty corn. Like, why can't we just love each other? I don't know how he pulls that off in a good way. The writing, I feel like, is also to blame.
A
Do you think that's not helping his case?
C
It's not helping his case, but I think the acting is not great. I watched the Paul McCartney documentary that came out on prime man on the Run, which focuses on Basically Paul McCartney, like, right when the Beatles ends to, like, up until, like, Wings ends. So it's a lot of, like, his personal life and his wife and all that. I'm a huge Beatles fan. It lost me like halfway through because I was like, okay, now I don't need to see. Like, I wasn't that interested in, like, Wings practicing and all that stuff. Like, seeing like, how he felt after the Beatles and like, like all that.
A
What's Wings?
C
You don't know Wings? What.
B
What's going on?
C
Paul McCart. That's the band that's Live and Let Die. Band on the Run. Those. That's his band. Those are all songs by Wings.
B
Got it, Got it.
A
I just always think about that. Like, I just think I'm like, that's Paart. Like, it was like he was just under his own name.
C
No, cuz like, when they first ended, he put out a couple albums as like, Paul McCartney. And they didn't really have the greatest. Greatest reception, even though I think they're great albums. And then. Then he started his own band with Wing as Wings.
A
It was just called Wings.
C
Wings. Yeah.
B
Gotcha.
C
And just kind of thought.
A
I feel like I just always went with Paul McCartney.
C
Yeah, yeah. Like, the. The way they did the documentary is cool, though. Like, very cool. Animations and everything. But I'll give it a B, like, because. Only because I'm not like, that interested in like a full hour or two hours of like, just stuff about the Wings. Like, I wanted to hear about John Lennon and like, the Beatles breakup and all that stuff was interesting. It was cool. Actually. They said at one point, like, right before John Lennon died, Paul McCartney was in the city and he was like, at the Dakota where John Lennon lived. And they were just like, hanging out and it was like, on Saturday and they were like, what if we just go to snl? Like. Cause SNL was happening that night, like, and just show up and like, make it a whole thing, like on the show. And they were gonna do it. And then like, at the last second, they were like, actually, no, like, we don't need to. But that would have been like, crazy because they never, like, did a public thing together after they broke up.
B
True.
C
And then I watched the first two episodes of season. This new season of Shrinking. It's exactly what I remember it as.
B
Like, I love.
C
I don't love it as much as Fran. I love it just because it is like that Ted Lasso type of like, where everything's so wholesome and, like. Like, it's nice, but it's almost too. Them being friends with the guy who killed her. I don't like. That's. That doesn't. That's not realistic to me. I can't buy into that.
A
Yeah.
C
And, like, I'm happy that what's her face, like, called him out in this or whatever past episode I saw.
A
Yeah.
C
Because that's how they should feel.
B
Like, is this the second season or the third season?
C
It's the third.
B
Third, because I watched the first season, but I don't think I watched the second one.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, I like that guy's character, and I actually do, like, like, his banter and everything. But if you really think about it, it's like the. The daughter and dad of, like, he killed their. Their. Yes.
A
But I think it's kind of like, it's not. It wasn't an immediate forgiveness. He hated his guts for a long time.
C
No, no. And you can forgive him, but to be, like, best friends and hanging out with him every day now is kind of.
A
No, but I think it makes a lot of sense in the therapist way of, like, well, now they saw how up he was. That it's like. Because Jason Siegel's character, I just think, has an innate need to help people, even when it's detrimental to everybody. Like, that's like. The whole point is, like, he says these kind of wild methods. So it's funny that it's like, oh, this guy. Yeah, it's extreme, but it's like, oh, this guy killed his wife. But like, he's in a bad place and needs help. And he's like, well, it. I'm gonna have to be the one to help that. But he's not. I will say he's not in it for much longer.
C
The season.
A
It's not like, after that there, he kind of goes off on his own.
C
Yeah. But it's like a. It's an enjoyable watch. Like, so I. I'll give that a B. But I can see why people give it a night if that's, like, where you're.
A
It's really. Yeah. I. It just. It's. I love it. It's so good.
C
And that's everything I watch.
B
All right. That is everything we watch this week. I'm gonna miss. I'm gonna miss the Traders recaps.
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B

D
Is it considered special when you come on, like, four times anymore?
B
It's special because it's been a couple years.
D
Okay.
B
I think the last time you were here was 2023. And then before that, the last time was we were super drunk in the old other studio.
A
Yeah.
B
And we left. Remember, we were so drunk we left that Noah had to record the ads himself.
D
Yep.
B
He texted us and was like, excuse me, guys.
A
I forgot about him having to do the ad. Heads.
B
Yeah.
D
And now you guys are married. Like.
B
Yeah, I know.
D
That's changed for us. We're not drunk anymore.
B
No. No, we are not.
A
Sometimes, I don't know. The last time I saw you, we were. We were still.
D
We were still drunk. Yes.
A
Down in Florida, like, not that long ago. We had a blast. But you, like, Tyler was like, friend, put your drinking hat back on. Like, let's. Let's get back.
D
And she brought it. She brought it. She still has it. She still has it.
A
Lots of flip cups.
B
Yes, of course.
A
Really, really bringing it back. But we're really. We are excited that you're back. It's been a while. Have you been in. Have you been in this studio?
B
Yeah, the last time was I here. Yeah. The last time we did was in here.
D
The decor is a little different.
A
Yeah.
D
Yeah.
A
I couldn't remember if that was.
B
It was in 2023.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you're back in New York and it's. You've made it perfectly in time for a massive snowstorm.
D
Yes.
A
Which is fun or not fun for you as a Florida guy.
D
It was the time of my life.
B
Yeah.
D
I mean, I went and did a. I did. I built a snowman with Matt. Then I joined a gigantic 200 person snowball fight. I was thriving yesterday.
A
Was it as was the snowman, as big as Matt said he was going to build a snow.
D
It was huge. It was about, like 14ft.
B
Wow.
D
Like, I had people on my shoulders putting snow on top of the snowman.
A
Snow.
B
You know what?
A
It really was the perfect, like, packing snow.
D
Yeah.
A
Walking around like, that's why there are so many snowmen out there.
D
It was a magical day. Yeah, it was a magical day.
B
Did it make you miss New York at all because you had a little bit of time living in New York City?
D
I don't know. I blacked out. Really. Once the snowball started going, I was in the middle yelling, and like, this is war. And I really just went back to, like, like, just my old college crazy days. First for, like, hot three hours.
B
Yeah.
A
Which is fun. But at the same time, like, it takes. It takes it out of you.
D
Oh. I was fully, like, sweating through my snowsuit.
A
Well, it looks like you came. Did the snowsuit. You just were lucky that you had a snowsuit.
D
I was lucky I had a snowsuit. I just came off, like, a brand trip with Michelob Ultra and they gave us all these onesies.
B
Yeah.
D
And so I rocked that onesie all throughout the city yesterday.
A
Thank God. Because I. What do you even pack? Because we were talking about with Rhea. She's like, I can't even go outside because I don't own a single.
D
That's crazy. You guys live here?
A
No, I know.
B
It's insane. Trust me. Like, I am not defending myself. I said, I'm the asshole who does not have snow gear. And I don't know why. It's like I was saying, like, I did, like, a closet clean out in the summer. Got rid of, like, my snow boots, my rain boots.
C
And.
B
And I, you know, maybe told myself, oh, I'll get new ones. Or maybe I won't. Just never did.
D
It was just a beautiful day. You know, you got little kids ganging up on me, throwing snowballs at me.
A
They got real snow day, which rarely happens now. Like, they actually were off school, these kids.
D
These little kids were rascals. And they just. They just demolished me, buried me like I was just some punk throwing it in my face. And then all of a sudden, their mom would be like, all right, kids, time to go. Like, yes, ma'. Am. They just march off. Like, then he had everybody throwing at each other. No one was mad when you got just destroyed by a snowball. It was. It was a beautiful day. New York City was thriving yesterday.
B
It was I want to talk about your brand trips. We're gonna get into the bachelor mansion takeover, which we're very excited about. But you just mentioned that you were on a brand trip. You seem like a brand trip guy.
D
Yes.
B
You know what I mean? Like, I do feel like that's where you thrive.
A
You gotta brand. You and Tate are on a lot
B
of brand trips lately. Are you guys bringing the fun? Like, are you the, the guy there?
D
I feel like our role in the, in the brand trips is like, we got to bring the energy. So we come in hot to start, and then what we do is, like, we get the party going, we're excited.
B
Personality hires.
D
Personality hires. Yes. And then all of a sudden, like, party's going Irish exit. We get out because we know tomorrow we have to be the tone setters again.
B
Right, right, right.
D
So.
A
So you're, you're starting the party or never ending the party?
D
Never ending.
B
There's a lot of pressure. I, I, I'm with, with you, though. Like, starting the party is great because then you get everyone else going, and then you got the party finished. The ones that never want to leave.
D
Yeah, yeah. And those people will drag it out all night, you know, And I'm, you got to know, 33, it doesn't, it just doesn't hit the same anymore.
B
33 is still very young.
A
You're saying I'm 33.
D
I know, but I'm like, let's beat the crowd. You know, we were at a Kygo concert, Opera ski. It was like the coolest thing ever. It was like what you see in Europe. Europe, yeah, here. And so I was like, oh, this is great, but we all have to go down the gondola.
B
Right? Right.
D
And I'm gonna beat this crowd. I was the first one gone.
A
You know that the show ends at 12:30? It's 12. Let's start.
B
Exactly.
D
Exactly.
B
Often I'm okay missing the last song of something because of beating the crowd.
A
It was like, last song, hot debate. Because people talk about that all the time, especially going to concerts in New York City.
D
What did you say? Hot.
A
It's a hot debate. Debate.
D
Oh, hot debate.
B
Hot debate.
D
Hot debate.
A
Hot debate.
B
Hot topic.
A
Yeah, it's a hot topic because it's like when. Whenever you leave a concert or anything in New York City, it can be a crazy hassle. You gotta get on the train or the subway's packed. Can't get a car, can't get a cab. So people, like, will miss the last song for a concert, and that can really grind.
D
People Would you stay for the last Jonas Brothers song?
B
Always.
A
I'm.
B
I'm friend is not.
A
I'm not a leave early from a concert person. I'm like. Because it's most of the time, the. The last song is the one you're all waiting to hear.
D
Yeah.
A
So but, like, if you're strategic and, you know, maybe right before you get that first chorus and then you start to just move, walk out, you get a little bit of the last chorus. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just get that last chorus. But no, these trips look like so much fun, and you're with some super fun people.
D
Yes.
A
All people that you're, like, meeting for the first time are people that you normally know are already 50.
D
50. Like, this was the first time I really got to hang out with Joe and Kelsey. I've met him in passing.
A
Really?
D
Justin Glaze.
A
Okay. Yeah.
B
Great people.
D
I will sing Justin Glazes praises forever because he is one of the funniest people I've ever been around. Incredible. Kelsey Anderson, too.
B
Like, she is so funny.
D
So funny. Like, they. Those two together. Incredible, like, amazing group. Like, we're doing more stuff with them. Like, it's going to be a lot of fun.
A
Yeah. There's certain, you know, not to play favorites, but I do find when I'm like, scrolling Instagram and I see a brand trip and I see the group, there's ones where I'm like, damn, this looks like a good group. And some that I'm like, wouldn't want to be on that one. But that one this past weekend, when you guys were. Where were you in Aspen.
D
We were in Park City.
A
Park City. I was like, that looks like a really fun group. I think Camille Kossick was in the group.
D
Camille Kossick. Oh, my God. That girl sang. Oh, I forgot what it was. But everyone. She had everyone singing acapella. There was no music. It was just like, beautiful moments.
B
Beautiful moment.
D
I just sat there proud. I was just like, look at this beautiful crew.
A
That's so nice. That's so nice. And it's fun. And it's fun that you and Tate get to do it all together. Cause honestly, Tate's outshining you these days.
D
She is. She is. She is. She's the real talent around here. I'm just, you know, washed, and she's. She's, you know, hopefully I can rest my feet and her hands work hard so my hands can look like this, you know?
A
Well, my mom absolutely adores Tate. And it's funny because my mom and she repeats herself all the time. Because she always says she's like, you know, I just. I just love a girl that can pick up a drill and knows what
B
to do with it.
A
And I'm like, you do? Since when? Like, it's not like she's. It's not like she's somewhere.
D
Is she doing that ever?
A
No.
D
That is so good.
B
She can appreciate one that does.
A
Like, she's like. She's on. She's on that top of that ladder painting the ceiling like she. And. And it does crack.
B
And she's incredibly talented, and she's beautiful, and she's funny, and she's really got it all. She's got the whole package.
D
She does. She truly does. And I'm just along for the ride, it seems like, you know, I'm just trying to hold on and keep up.
A
Absolutely. And you should hold on as tight as you can.
B
Yeah.
A
Back to the break.
B
You.
A
You guys have all been joking a lot, too, because I know Rachel Kirkano has been on a lot of these trips with you guys, and it's been an ongoing joke, and I think there was sort of like. Like, some. What do you say? Like, some iffy, questionable time in, like, the last year. Ish. Plus, of, like, are they all still friends? Are they not? And then all of a sudden, it's like, bam. Look at all these videos of them all hanging out. You guys are good.
D
Yeah, me and Rachel are great. Like, we're. We're good friends. You know, there's. There's a custody battle happening right now.
B
You did post that Rachel got custody.
D
Yeah. So I. I get, like, every other weekend with Matt. So I was with. I got him this weekend.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you got to build snowman with Matt.
D
Building snowmans and snowball fights, like, really felt like a good father. Son behind me.
A
I was gonna say a very divorced, like, very divorced dad thing to do. Like, hey, son, let's go play.
B
Yeah, let's. Let's bond a little bit. No. Well, it was funny coming off right off the heels of that, because people were talking about that TikTok in the YouTube video and, you know, the bubble above Rachel, like, you. You know, she got custody, but then all of a sudden, you turn around, you're with Matt, and I was like, okay. That's a. You know.
D
Yeah.
A
And it doesn't cause any issues for either of them.
B
Them.
D
No, no, no. You know, I think they're. They're both in their respectable own lives now. And I can be friends with Matt, and I can be friends with Rachel. You Know, and, you know, me and Matt, we go back now almost 10 years, so it's just like.
B
You can make jokes about it.
D
Yeah, we can laugh about it. We can joke about it.
A
I mean, I. Look, I completely agree. I. I love both of them, so it's. It's tricky.
D
And, you know, I can. I can still root for both of them. Like, I want Rachel to find someone. You know, I'm always trying to of. You know, put her with someone who I think is a good person because I care about her, and I care about her finding love. And I. You know, same with Matt.
A
I'm always thinking of always, like, who should she date next?
D
Yeah, she. She's gonna find, but I'm also living
B
for her, just living her life right now as well without dating anybody. Seems like she's killing it.
D
She's thriving, and she's. She's doing great. They both are, honestly, like, Matt on the same side. Like, he is, like, I think in, like, the best space he's been in a long time. It's so hard to do what they did.
A
Yeah.
D
It's so hard to. To. To be in that light to date. And, you know, being a lead and having your person that you picked and all that they went through is. Is incredibly tough.
C
And.
D
And then the breakup was a little while, but any breakup is a bad breakup.
B
Yeah.
D
You know, so it's just, like, for them to navigate where they are now, like, they're both thriving. They're both doing their own things, and I can love them both and cheer for them both, and, you know, it does feel like mom and dad because, like, when we all live together, Rachel was always looking at me like, what. What. What are you doing? Like, what were you doing last night? Why is she here? Like, you know, like, you can be doing better than this. And I was like. At first I was like, shut up, Mom.
A
Yeah.
D
And now I'm like, mom was right.
A
Yeah, she was right. And the tables have 10 kind of turned, too, because I feel like Rachel is living in this single girl era where she is having fun, and, like, going out with her is a blast.
D
It is.
A
I think she. Is it.
D
That girl's a rocket. She can party.
B
Is.
A
She's an absolute blast. We had so much fun that weekend.
B
We were.
A
We were all out together. She's. She's so fun. But that's good that everybody can. Can hang out. And now, you guys, you got a new show coming out.
D
Yeah.
A
Which is really exciting. You've gone full, like, you really have gone full construction Guy.
D
Yeah.
A
You're the. You're the contractor. You're developing real estate. Your real estate agent now as well.
D
Real estate agent, general contractor, property manager. You name it, I got it all.
B
All.
D
Yeah.
A
So you're doing it all, and now you're redoing the Bachelor mansion.
D
Yes.
A
Which is a task, and honestly, something that really needed to be done.
D
It. It definitely needed to be done. Like, this house has not been touched in, like, 26 years. And when I say one of the cool moments about it, like, when we were, like, breaking through the walls, we would take off chunks of paint in the walls. It'd be, like, that thick, and it was like every color throughout the years painted over each other. So it would be like, you know, like a tree of life. Like, you see all the tree rays.
B
Rings.
D
It was like paint rings.
B
Paint rings.
D
And it would be like, you could see a purple, you could see a maroon, you could see a yellow. You could see all. I was, like, right here in, like, the red is, like, where I must have been kissing Hannah.
C
You know what I mean?
D
Like, it was, like a history. Exactly. Just kept the colors down. I'm like, oh, this must have been my era, right?
B
Those walls hold a lot of secrets, and a lot of things happen, and
D
all they did was just paint it and go to the next season, you know?
B
Right. They. Everything moved quickly in that. But you are judging with Taisha and is hosted by Jesse Palmer, along with, I think, 12 contestants. 12 contestants who are, you know, putting in the work for this. How exciting was this for you to be able to, like, sit back and judge it?
D
You know, when I got to. When I came back to the mansion, that's when it all started to hit me. I was like. Because that's seven years ago. It was a blur for me, and
A
it's so much time.
B
It's actually crazy.
A
Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
B
Seven years into rolling loud together in LA.
A
Oh, God.
B
That was 2019. Like, that is so crazy. Wow.
D
That was. And. And just to be back in that spot and start to, like, I forgot so many things, and then to be in it, you start to remember it, and then to be, like, full circle, like, I'm on my dream network, hgtv, doing a, you know, renovation show about the Bachelor mansion, like, where it all started. Like, this is one of the most famous houses in America.
B
Yeah.
D
That we get to be a part of this renovation. It's just so cool.
C
Cool.
A
Was it hard to, like, step back from being involved in, like, the actual.
D
No work? I do this for a living. I'm in the middle.
A
That's what I'm saying.
D
Like, flipping two homes right now to
A
be like, let me get in there.
D
Yeah. No, I was like, you guys got this, you know, like, it was. It was fun to be on the other side of it.
A
Yeah.
D
You know, because, like, this is a joy. I get to sit back and judge people and watch and see how they work and. And there's some times where you kind of want to steer them, you know, but you got to let them go.
B
Yeah. You know, what was that like, judging some of your peers?
D
It was fun. You know, it's like you learn to
C
love all of them.
D
They become like, it's like a family. You know what I mean? But that family fights, and that family has drama, and you can't believe because everyone wants their own vision to go. Everyone has their own belief of what the house should look like. Like, so now you got people fighting and drama happening. Like, it is bachelor drama in a Reno show.
A
Yeah.
B
Honestly, I love that. It's just a nice little change up from, like, dating drama. Like, let's fight about what this house is going to look like.
A
It's like you get the. You get the mix of cast members from different seasons, different ages and everything, and you're putting them in something that isn't love based, because everything is always, like, love based.
B
We're all growing up. We can't. We care about these homes. That's what our homes are looking like.
D
You know, you take love out, you put $100,000 in there.
B
It's like the same thing.
C
You know what I mean?
A
Like, it's like, people get ruthless.
B
Yeah. Who.
A
Who surprised you the most, would you say, from who was competing?
D
Who surprised. So there's a lot of surprises. I think you'll be surprised that, like, what you would think, like, oh, can the guys design? You know, and there was some guys that had some really good design ideas and thoughts. And, you know, I'm like, did your girlfriend tell you to do all these things?
A
You know, can you actually give us an example of maybe? Like, I don't know if it's sharing too much or not, but. Because when we talked about the show, we were so curious, really, about the setup and everything that, like, what people were actually going to be doing. What's like, an example of a. Of a challenge that people were doing?
D
I mean, like, for instance, like, we did the.
C
The.
D
The backyard.
B
Okay.
D
Right. Or episode one's the bunk rooms.
C
Yeah.
D
So, like, these guys are. Are building out all These bunk rooms, designing them. You know, they're all in the saws. They're all chopping for the trim. They're doing. Doing everything.
A
Okay. They're really doing everything.
D
They're really getting into it. You know, they're like. I was so shocked. Like, they're cutting tile, and they were doing this backyard grill, and, like, the craftsmanship, like, it was against a rock wall, so they were making cuts all along the rock wall with the tile. Like, that's impressive stuff.
A
I'm excited to watch Noah. I feel like he's gonna be really good because he's someone that I feel like. Posts a lot of.
D
Yep.
A
Like, renovation stuff that him and Abigail are always, like, doing cool stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
D
I'll tell you what. Abigail taught Noah a lot of good things.
A
Yeah.
D
So that'll be. That'll be fun to watch.
A
Yeah, I can see that.
D
Dean's a riot. You know, the Goldens were. Were, like. You would think the Goldens would be in the back of the line. No, no, they were fighting to be in the front.
A
Well, that's. That's, like, the strongest.
B
Yeah.
A
And that's the strongest opinion. It's like, if you're. You all know, like, if you're doing any kind of work in your house or apartment home, whatever, the strongest opinion is coming from, like, your parents.
D
Yeah.
A
You're like, why would you pick that color? That's hideous. You should have gone with this. So I bet I could see them having, like, a lot of guys. Let's. Let's do it this way.
D
And. And you get some villains, you know, and you got villains that. That were on the show in the past coming on. Like, it's a lot of feuding going on. Like, it. It's.
C
I.
D
Like, we love watching it from the background.
A
Yeah, definitely.
B
I don't put it past. Past there to be villains, even when it comes to a home renovation show.
D
No, because, like, a great Bachelor season had an amazing villain.
A
Yeah.
B
You need it to keep people interested
A
whether that person was really a villain or not. There's always. There's always a villain.
B
That is true. Do you miss anybody from Bachelor Nation that you've lost contact with at all?
D
No, I'm just kidding.
B
I wouldn't. I mean, I wouldn't blame you if
D
you were like, you know, who I'm trying to lose contact of is Dylan.
B
Honestly.
A
Us too.
D
Gosh, could that guy lose my number? Poor Hannah Godwin. That guy's a menace.
B
Oh, man.
A
So I noticed.
B
I mean, it is true, though, when you Receive a text from Dylan. You're just like.
A
He described me up. We, like, he'll text us about something so random, and we're just like, this is so Dylan. Like, what was the last thing you text us?
B
I didn't even answer. I was like, this doesn't even mean about.
D
Well, there was, like, this drunk guy harassing some girls on TikTok, and he's like, I swear I believe this. Tyler Cameron. I'm like, out of nowhere. You know what I mean? I'm like, go away, Dylan.
B
Random. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
You never know.
D
Which, honestly, you know who I miss?
A
Impressive.
D
And every time I get to see him, it's such a joy. Pilot Pete.
A
Pilot Pete. You know Pilot Pete. We've had our ups and downs of Pilot Pete, and we loved to, like, joke about it and then let me, like, Pilot Pete is the sweetest guy there is.
D
He's a golden retriever.
B
I have never, like.
A
I don't think you've ever really had.
B
We met him years ago. We did one interview with him, like, at the very start of his.
A
And it was, like, serious. Like, it was, like, very official. And.
B
And I have not seen him.
A
Yes.
D
During filming of this show. It happens to be, like, five minutes from where Pete lives.
A
Okay.
D
Like, his parents and everything like that. So I got invited to dinner.
A
Oh, that's nice.
D
The Webers. Yeah. And I got to finally meet Barb and I got to meet his dad. And I left there, and I was like, that's the happiest family in America.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
D
Like, they're like, the joy. The joy. Like, I mean, like, I totally can see that. Like, we're doing beautiful song, like, right before dinner. Like, like, hand in hand. Like, she made an incredible meal. I'm like, these. Like, I had so much fun, and, like, I left there, like, oh, there is, like, just happiness.
A
That's why he's. That's why it's hard for him to find someone who can fit into that level of unity.
B
Barb was iconic television.
A
She really was.
D
You know, that was amazing.
A
It was really peak.
B
It's.
A
You know, you hope you can get something like that again, but it's lightning in a bottle, really.
D
A little tiny square on the tv.
A
Really. It really was no pie. Pelippy was. I saw him. We did a. We did a ping pong tournament at the super bowl last.
B
Not this.
A
Not this most recent one. The one before. And leave it to Pilot Pete to get his face, like, sliced open by a paddle.
C
Yeah.
A
Like, it was, like, unbelievable. It was I couldn't.
D
I think it was Micah Parsons.
B
Yeah.
A
That was just like, getting smacked in the face.
D
That's such a Pilot Pete movie.
A
And it was. He's like. And he's like, am I bleeding? We're like, yeah, you're gushing blood. It's just, like, a little accident prone.
D
But, yes, he is.
A
But no, he handled it like a champ, which was. Which was very funny. But now we're excited to watch the show because you got. You got a lot going on. You're doing that, but you're also doing, like, way more home renovation stuff at home. What's some of the stuff you and Tate are up to right now?
D
Yeah, well, I think the biggest thing is we just launched a tool on mine. You know, our.
B
Our big thing said a drill.
D
The girl knows a drill, and we got it. Now Tate has her own drill. We. We are partnering with Tinker Tools, and, like, we are, like, real partners that we are building this business with them. This isn't just, like, your one post and we'll see you later. This is like, no, like, she is, like, creative director, and she's helping design everything. And it's really aesthetically pleasing, beautiful tools for, like, mainly the women to buy. Because if you go to Home Depot.
A
Yeah, they're ugly.
D
Everything's ugly.
B
I have a pink screw gun, which is just, like, so class. That is so classic.
D
But, like, everything is made for the man there.
B
And.
D
And when. When 40% of your buyers are women and they're the ones that spend. I think it was, like, three times more money in Home Depot than men do. Like, what is for them? So we came out with this, like, aesthetically pleasing tool set. It's beautiful. You can leave it out. You don't want to just throw this thing away. Like, if you have it out, it's fine.
B
I love that.
D
Yeah. And it's every tool you need for at home for all your simple projects. And then we also have, like. Like, barcodes on there. That or QR codes. Is that what they call it? The kids call it these days? QR codes. And you scan it. It teaches you how to use the stuff that we have in there.
B
Perfect. It's such a good idea because everybody needs a tool set at home. Like, it's the number one thing. I think people forget that you need to have it handy, literally, for anything. And, like you said, like, even simple projects, but then also such a good idea to have the QR code to kind of tell people how to use it.
D
Well, it's intimidating. Yeah. And I think what's so cool about Tate is, like, I want people to. Everyone's probably tired of someone mansplaining how to do something. We've all heard our dad tell us, well, you just do this, you do that. But now it's like Tate teaching you how to do it. And, like, I think our goal with Tinker is to become, like, the tasty of diy. Like, we want to show you guys how to hang the tv, how to, you know, align all these beautiful pictures on the wall, how to, you know, what are the rules of design that are really easy to learn and all that stuff. So I think that's our big goal with that. That.
B
Yeah, that's awesome.
A
Handy at all.
D
And then. And then we dropped the YouTube series. So we're trying to take all of our home rental stuff from Jupiter, like, all of our local projects and put it on there and just kind of show you what really is Besides, like, the 30 seconds you get on Instagram or TikTok. So that's been fun. We launched that. We've gotten great responses. We have two houses that we're about to start, one that we're already working on, the one I'm closing on on Friday, and then we'll amaze. Get to work.
B
Yeah, that's awesome. And I feel like this is so great for you because it channels what you love to do the most. And a lot of times. And now we're going back years. I mean, we said seven years ago now when people go onto a reality TV show, they go through that, then they kind of get stuck in that world, and it's like, well, what do I do next? You know? But you did that, and then now you are also following your passion and what you know and love to do, like, intertwined with that, which I think is great.
D
I think it's hard.
A
It comes to fame in the right way, I think.
D
Yeah. I think now what's great is, like, we're trying to merge the social media with the real estate, and I think everyone loves home content. Like, I think we were always so nervous about posting it, and then we just launched our house, and, like, that went pretty viral when we did our house. And I was like, so you take, like, you can do this now. I'm like, all right, we're gonna start a business. You're gonna be an interior Designer. I got 19 jobs for you. She's like, no, no. So. But it's. It's been a lot of fun. She's incredibly talented. So this is a great Way to showcase her skills. And you know, we'll, we have a house right now. We're doing. It's going to be a fun short term rental that'll be like retro, modern and different and funky. And she's got tile choices that I'm like, oh God. But I know I just have to let her go and do it.
A
You guys got that like what's her face? Chip and Joanne.
D
Chip and Joanne.
A
Yes. You know that like, because I was gonna say, I was gonna say going way back and thinking like that Ty Pennington, which is also moved that bus, like, which is also so something absolutely you guys could do. But now I feel like Tate is so important to what you guys are doing that it's a, it's, it's a partnership type of thing, which is great because it's so fun to see what you guys are, are working on.
B
And then what, what about all the real estate? You know, you're working with Ryan Sirhan. How did you get into that?
D
So when, when my Amazon show was coming out, we had coffee and he was like, you need to get your license to come work for me. Like, this would be great for your career added to what you're doing. And he was really wanting me to live in the city and do that. And I was just so busy, perhaps beyond owning Manhattan. Yeah, I definitely, I definitely did not see what he was saying. You know what I mean? I definitely did not pick up following
A
the whole trail of where he was going with that one.
D
I missed that bus. Right. But I got my license last October and I've really gotten to be around him a lot.
B
Yeah.
D
That is the hardest working man I've ever been around.
A
And you can see it on the show. Yeah.
B
And.
D
But he's so good to everybody. He's an incredible leader. So like I've had. It just inspires me and motivates me and then the power of his name. Like, yeah, I've. My first listing was seven and a half million dollars. We're under contract at 6.9. Like, incredible deal. We're gonna set the record for Singer island by like $400 a square foot over what has ever been done. I'm doing 24 townhomes in Hutchinson island, new development as like a lead agent. Like if you watch his show, everyone's trying to get new dev.
A
Yeah.
D
Like, I already got my first new dev project and I'm like, I don't even. I'm still learning how to write the contract correctly. You know what I mean? I have transaction coordinators holding my hand.
A
You're just in, like. You're just in the right area for it, too, you know? Like, it's just such a popular.
D
Everyone wants to be.
A
Everyone wants to be in that area right now. It's, like, totally thriving. It's like there's only so much new stuff you can get in New York. It's like, it's. There's only so much space here, but seeing everything that they're building there.
D
You keep having these snowstorms, and you get your property taxes increased again. It sounds like you come to Florida, where we're about to get rid of property taxes, and we already don't have state income taxes. So if you want to save your money. Chicks in the office, believe me, I'll help you all get some houses.
A
Yeah. It wouldn't be the first time Ray and I have had that conversation. What if we just off to Florida?
B
We just love it around here, too.
D
You guys know I can build this for you anywhere. Like, this is.
B
Head perked up. He said, wait a second.
A
That is.
D
I would love it.
C
I've been trying to get a revamp in here, so that is.
B
Yeah.
C
You should be a project.
B
You should come redo this studio here.
D
Should we do that? Should we do a little YouTube Tinker series here and redo your.
A
I actually would love. That's a real.
D
Should we let Tate design it?
B
No. Yes. 100%. Like, I'm actually being dead serious right now.
A
We don't have the eye.
B
We don't. We. We've talked about how we.
D
I wasn't going to say anything.
B
Guys, listen, this studio is.
A
This is been now, what, three years?
B
Yeah. It's out. It's outdated, and we want something cool and stylish, a little bit more adult.
A
Something. It was sexy. This was pretty hip when we first did it was.
B
Listen, it was cool, but now we've outgrown it.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
I love this idea.
D
I like this. I like.
B
We're gonna be, like, on your case.
D
This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna get a group chat going. We're gonna get a mood board. We're gonna get this figured out.
B
