The first round of the tournament. Beat them. They then had another match after they lost and then won those two. So now they're in the final four. And I'm excited. What's nice about doing this with you is like, I haven't had one worry. I'll be like, you know, when I'm planning my own trip, I'm like, oh, I gotta make sure I got stuff to do. All these things. I'm like, I'm going with Ria. She's got this whole thing. There's the places she's gonna want me to see. They're the places she's gonna say are overrated that I don't need to see. I'm just along for the ride. I am. You are driving the motorcycle, and I am in the sidecar, you know?

And you know what? I'm happy to do that. I'm actually so happy to do that for everybody. I love, like, in another life. I'm a travel agent. I'm planning itinerary, curating.

Curating trips.

I do. And I love showing people a good time. I love giving people a good time. There's nothing that, like, brings me more joy and happiness than seeing other people enjoy, like, you know what I'm saying?

But then that also comes with, like, pressure. A lot of pressure. We're also staying in the same hotel room.

Right. So. So what happened was, is Matt and I were supposed to go to London in December, and we ended up canceling that trip. And then the hotel was, like, too close. You can't get this money back. You just. We'll give you credit to use within this amount of time period.

But I'm benefiting from the credit, and Matt is not.

Which he is happy to give up for you, you know, so we are. We're gonna be in London gallivanting. We got Harry Styles on Friday.

I'm so excited. I feel like the energy around his shows is getting back to the. The Harry that we know and love. I'm starting to see a lot of the positivity, the fun, the sharing, the dancing, Harry being funny on stage, all these good clips. Because I think at first everyone was maybe a little unsure about the new stage and the setup and all these things, but now it feels like we're really getting back in the Zone. And when I tell you. I think that that clip of Harry singing Bridge Over Troubled Waters came up on my feed no less than a hundred times in the last few days. And in whatever shape or form it was, it was presented to me. A 10 second clip of just the end, a three minute clip of the, you know, five minute clip of the entire. I watched every single video all the way through. I. I have chills again thinking about it. He has never sounded better in his life. I've been walking around my apartment going bridge, like, singing to myself. Like, it's just. I. I was like, let me, let me, let me try. Let me give that note a spin that he, that he hits the. It's so.

Wait, can I admit something to. I recorded myself on my phone singing because I was like, I want to see what I can. And it was so fucking bad.

I. I did it in two different, like, octaves. Like, I did one, like one and then one, like, kind of raspy. Like, I did that. I did the high one and was like that. That did not sound good. But maybe if I do it like more of like a raspy, like, it'll sound cooler and they sound equally bad.

No, I wasn't thrown off by that. I'm thrown off with what the vibes of the show are. I'm thrown off with it, but what people are wearing. I'M thrown off of what I just need like, I need like a mood board. Like put send me in the right direction and where I can find something.

This is my issue. Wear whatever the fuck you want to wear. Like you're going to a concert. You want to be comfortable and cute. I don't really care what other people are wearing. I just. In my head I'm like, what did I envision myself wearing to this concert? You know what I'm saying?

If that was the question, I'd be in jean shorts and a T shirt because that's my prefer. That's my preferred outfit to wear to a concert. It's like when I'm going to a Jones Brothers show, it is the best thing for me to just be like, well, I'm just wearing it. I can just wear Jones Brothers T shirts. My go to don't have to overthink it. Feel like there's now with different artists, there's different vibes and people get all dressed up and all these things and I, I want to wear a cute outfit. I also have a potential. I order something else that could have potential. But then there's, you know, there's people doing the sequence party, disco vibe. There's people doing a little business casual flair.

I bought a shirt that's part of a set that has like, it could be fun. I don't know. I'm all over the map with it really. At the end of the day, I could end up wearing jean shorts and a Harry Styles T shirt.

That would be the most comfortable. I kinda hate the fact that we gotta dress up for concerts now. But also you don't. You could really wear whatever you want. But I think for this, like being in London, you kind of just like. It's like, ooh, let's wear like a cuter outfit of like. But what you envision you would wear to a Harry Styles concert, you know?

Absolutely. And I ordered a set that I think is so cute. And you know, no, sorry for these details but like the shirt is just way more see through than I anticipated, which is fine.

And I was, it was like, you know, what'd you have for dinner? Well, you know, Chelsea ate this and then I found out Matt ate dinner earlier. Like it. I felt attacked. I felt it was a direct attack on me.

Did you see any of. Not to pivot completely, but since you just brought him up, you see any of the clips from the last Culturistas Awards?

Yes, it's a major cult. Them doing all the things she said and having Mallon and Britney Snow then come out as well with their, with the fucking hockey sticks. Unreal. Unreal. Just great stuff.

I don't know how they come up with this. And it is so funny every time. Rachel Ziegler singing Fame is a Gun. Like unreal. Like, I was like, I can't believe that I'm like having an emotional moment right now watching this.

Unreal. A Walk to Remember is one of my favorite movies of all time. If you asked me back in the day what my favorite movie was, my answer was always A Walk to Remember. I was so obsessed. Honestly, I was inspired by Mandy Moore's Veil in A Walk to Remember for my own wedding. Kind of dark because, you know. Yeah.

But a beautiful sentiment nonetheless.

Yes. But it's just. Oh, it was so good. I actually, I started thinking to myself, like, what goes into the planning for this? Right. Because there has to be so much thought, so many ideas. We know how talented both of the, both, both of them are. But it's all so creative. The crowd gets so into it. We saw, you know, Mia and Ciara and Paige and Hannah which was so fun. And so many others as well.

Big wins. I love Lisa Rinna modeling the outfits the year, every, every when she does them all are so funny. She is so good.

So good. I mean, oh God, it was so funny.

It's non stop laughs. It really is. I, I just am so impressed by everything that they do and the thought that goes into that. It's just like actually so funny.

It's really fun night. I love to like go to that as an Event. You know, I think it's, like, such a fun room to be in just because, like, all the videos are so much fun and obviously watching it on Peacock and everything, but, like, being in that room has got to be a blast.

I was thinking that. I was like, oh, damn. I hope me and Frank can get invited one day.

And Olivia Wilde with Alex Cooper. Great stuff. Because I feel like we have not seen Olivia Wilde in this setting because, you know, I feel like in the past couple years, especially with the don't worry, darling stuff, her relationship with Harry Styles, her divorce with Jason Sudeikis, which she touched on everything in this interview. She's kind of been under some criticism, you know, recently with the red carpet, about how her. She looked. She even talked about that. I loved seeing this side of her. I felt like she was incredibly open about things that we have all been wondering. Even fucking Spitgate. I couldn't believe we were talking about Spitgate. And by the way, Alex Cooper not knowing what Spitgate was, just being like, oh, you. They thought you spit on somebody. Where were you? Where were you when we were talking about that endlessly? Yeah, sorry. That one annoyed me. That one annoyed me.

[Fran]

No, that I. That. You're right. I couldn't believe that either. That was something that was like, wait a second. That took over everything.

[Ria]

Yeah, it did. It did take over everything. But she dressed it all. She talked about getting paper served while she was at Cinemacon and she was standing on stage giving a speech. She got served her divorce papers or her custody papers for their kids. And you replay the video of that and she takes it out, thinking it's a script. And she goes, oh, okay, I see what this is. And then continues on and talking about as a woman, you know, feeling like you gotta, like, power through, and then you go backstage and you just let it all out and deal with what's happening. So I thought it was incredibly interesting stuff from her, just talking about such

criticism that you would think sometimes people would never even touch on, I mean, her relationship with Harry Styles. She said that they had the loveliest relationship. It was very domestic and beautiful and they didn't let the outside noise come in. But there was a lot of chatter about the 10 year age gap and everything that went on with her divorce with Jason. And she spoke very highly of Harry and, and their relationship.

[Fran]

It seemed like they really did have a lovely relationship she was talking about. She said people were pissed. I think that it, it also had a lot to do with the kind of parasocial, parasocial relationship people had with and have with him, which is a burden that is very weighty and not something I envy. And he carries it with grace. I think that is an enormous responsibility that all those stars have to carry. That's fucking impossible. When talking about the age gap, she noted that she still doesn't quite understand why the shift in dynamics seem to get. Seemed to get such a negative response. She said, it really did upset people, though. It was crazy. I don't know how much I understand yet. That's one of the factors that I never really felt like I fully. And then she kind of was like, I, I, you know, didn't know, wasn't sure. But she said they had the loveliest relationship, calling it so sweet and so beautiful and actually very domestic and kind and lovely. We existed in this like little bubble and the judgment never really got into that bubble, which was a miracle and testament to us making that happen. Then she said she felt like no matter what she did during that time, it upset onlookers. She said, I think that people were mad. It's almost like the happiness made them mad. I would go to shows and dance and people were like, oh, you slut. Oh man, I don't know. Just really did upset people, which is so true. That had to have been so hard to balance and really such a mind to think. It's like, oh, behind closed doors we had such a lovely relationship. But going out or dealing with the public was such a different thing. And touching on dating someone like a Harry Styles, where the fans are so invested and feel like they kind of own a part of his life and the decisions that he makes and all those things, it really is very crazy to, to hear her all, to hear her all talk about it. And she talked about how Jason had been dating a girl that was 11 years younger than him and she's like. And that wasn't commented on publicly. She said you recalled spending Thanksgiving after their split with their kids when he spent time with his girlfriend abroad. Jason was photographed with his girlfriend on the beach in Costa Rica or something. And the press was like, yay for him. He looks so happy, so wonderful. And I was like, if I was away from my children on a national holiday, frolicking on a beach, I'd be like. It'd be like, just burn her on the stake now. Take her out and take the kids away from her forever. Which it is. There are just. There are a lot of contradictions, and a lot of times moms are held to higher standards. And it's like, well, if you're a mom, you're like, what? And you're out and about. They're like, well, why isn't she with her kids? And that rarely happens when the divorced dad is out.

[Ria]

Yeah. I mean, it's a double standard, and obviously a lot of times it's bullshit. So I was happy to hear her open up about all of this. And it is incredibly hard, I'm sure, to date someone with such a large fandom that people would absolutely die for. I mean, you. Even the discussion the other day, Joe Alwyn's dating somebody else, and he's getting ripped apart for just dating somebody else. Meanwhile, everyone should be able to move on. Like, it's. Yeah, it just comes with a lot of pressure, and I think it's about how they handle it, you know, closed doors, which sounds like they had a great relationship. Obviously, it didn't work out, but sounds like they have a lot of respect for each other. And she talks very highly of him, and I just thought it was interesting to see her in this light. And her new movie with Seth Rogen is coming out, the Invite. So I'm excited to see that.

[Fran]

Did you see. Same. Did you see what she said about Jason? She talked about that they were having a rough time in their relationship. This was in 2020, her birthday. They were driving home from her party, and she asked Jason if he bought her a present, and he said, what would I get you, Olivia? I don't know you. I went. She said that. I went. I was like, oh, my gosh. She was like. She didn't admit it. She wasn't wrong in his sharp response because at that point, they didn't know each other anymore. And then she did say that that interaction is what helped inspire her make the invite.

[Ria]

That is exactly why I ranked Jason Sudeikis strictly on his humor and comedy and not his personal the other day.

[Fran]

Right.

[Ria]

I don't know about whatever happened between these two, you know?

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah.

[Ria]

Like, I don't. We don't know for sure, but we've heard some not so great stories. About Vegas.

[Fran]

Right, and. Exactly. And it's like if you're saying like this is your husband, it's your birthday, and he's like, what would I have gotten you? I don't even know you. You're like, okay, that sounds like a rare, that sounds like a marriage that's in a really bad place.

[Ria]

Really bad place. And just a super answer. So, you know.

[Fran]

Yeah, yeah, that, that's, that is, that is pretty crazy. But it's a really great interview to listen to it. She talked about a ton of different things, you know, being on the maxim Hot 100 and just different roles and dealing with all these kind of images that have been thrust upon her and ideas that have been thrust upon her and how she's handled it all. So it was, it was, it was a very good conversation.

It is. And it's also interesting when you hear someone talk about something like Olivia Wilde talking about her looks like how she never felt a certain way about herself and then she's Maxim, you know, number one on the list. And it's so crazy because I remember a specific period of my time, maybe during the OC or I think she was in the switch up. And I remember thinking to myself, like, I want to look like her. I want to look like Olivia Wilde. And it's funny to hear someone you like, wanted to look like think a certain way about themselves. Right. Because it makes you, it kind of just like puts it in perspective of like everybody wants something but you don't know how that and that person perceives themselves differently than how you perceive them. It's very interesting, but I thought it was a, I thought it was a really good interview.

And as with all Olivia Rodrigo albums, for me, the more I listen, the more I love, the more I come around on songs that maybe I didn't love the first couple times but then begin to become fucking obsessed with. Like, I remember when Vampire first came out, it didn't hit my soul the way that it was that I was hitting everyone else. And then one day I put it on, and I never looked back. It was like in the room. I started listening to that song every day. That's a lot of times music with me in general, where it just hits a certain spot. And then all of a sudden I'm like, ooh, that cracked a part of my brain that I really like. And it'll keep going. So I'm feeling that way about. About Olivia's album. I think the more I listen, the more I love. I think she's an incredible songwriter. I think Olivia Rodrigo is one of the most talented people in the game right now. I genuinely think her songwriting is so high up there. So I'm a big fan.

I agree. Any favorites for you? I feel like it's. It changed for me because I've been listening to the album all week, and the initial, like, I really loved the ones that she had released first. Like, I love Drop Dead, I love the Cure. But then you get to kind of hear them all in the midst of. Of the album. And I do think she really takes you, like, on a journey with the album. Starts a certain way, ends a certain way. It feels like starting a relationship, like the beginning of a relationship hopeful, all these things. And then once you get to cigarette smoke, you're just like, oh, damn, what's really it? But it's a beautiful album.

I feel like it's got to be really hard though, because I bet even no matter how secretive they are or they try and put decoys or use different names or whatever, once one person hears that it's all this, you like, like summer integrity is. That's what they're filming. People are just coming in swarms. So I. I felt sad for them though, seeing that, because they did look agitated, to say the least, that this is what was. Yeah, I'm excited to keep listening to the album. I think the more we listen, the more we'll love and I just. I just think she is so talented. I really do. When the artist drops the songs earlier, like certain singles come out before they are sometimes discussed as like standalone things and not as like the bigger picture of the album because everyone's been listening to them beforehand. So you. You're like, oh, well, I already know that one. But in the grand scheme of like the whole album, I think that song is so good too.

The whiny behavior that kind of bothers me. And I felt like I didn't really like the way Kenzie was acting. Acting with Corbin and Anaya. And like, I felt Anaya was shooting herself in the foot, like sort of like self sabotaging with Casey a little bit. Yes. He wants, wanted to maybe have a couple conversation with Soul, but then all of a sudden it turned into like her being the safe option and just a choice and like, sort of pushing him away. And I'm glad. I think they got to a better place at the, like during the love letter stuff. But even that, even that was kind of bizarre because that in any other season would have been like, must watch television. I think people would have been freaking out. The clips would have been going mega viral of like someone opening their mailbox and not having a letter in. And I don't know if they're just maybe calmer or there's not that pop off element of, of yelling or getting really upset or all these things. Because just in, just in terms of drama, if that happened with another love triangle. The way Sincere has been acting with these two ladies is really like, he's, he's acting like he's locked into each of them.

No, it's, it actually is crazy. Crazy. So to me, like, and it's, and it's a testament to these ladies. Good for them in terms of craziness. The episode ended so this, I could be talking and everyone's like, this happened on Thursday. But in the moment, she was just like, very sad about it. But I, I just don't understand how he's getting away with this behavior. And no one's yelling at him. No one, not one person is giving him any, like, giving him a hard time.
