Hey guys, it's Francis. Look, life moves fast. Dating is a tough thing to find time for and to be intentional about. At least so I thought until I found the League. I've found that the people I've met on the league are people I really have a lot more in common with than the people you typically find when you're just aimlessly swiping and scrolling on other dating apps instead of endless searching. I get a curated batch of profiles each day. There's less noise, less back and forth, less flakiness. These are just people I'd actually want to meet, have a conversation with, have a meal with, spend real time with, create that meaningful connection. Join me on the League, download the app and apply today.

What's up everyone?

Listen, we are running on a high right now because we attended the haniversary special, the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana. We did the red carpet. We watched the special with Miley Cyrus herself and it was so insane. Like, I just have to say she's. She is my number one person I'm a fan of. Like, it does not get higher for me than Miley Cyrus. I am so obsessed with everything about Her. She is so fucking funny. She has the voice of our generation. Like, I spent the day before the premiere just watching so many cover videos of Miley singing all rock songs, because, like, in my heart of hearts, I know that one day, maybe she'll put out a whole album of just all covers. Like her doing Rebel Yell and Zombie. It's all so good. So on top of that, and. And she's just stunning and so fabulous. Like, she is my number fucking one. I'm so obsessed with her. Sorry I had to let that out.
Fran
No, that's so fair. And I couldn't agree more. It's like, it's not that we needed a reminder because we know it, but. But when we're lucky enough to be in the same room as her, which has happened a couple times in the last year, now twice. It's. It's on. It's. Yeah, a couple. That's. That's two. No, I was just.
Rhea
I was just, like, emphasizing, you know.
Fran
Yes, it's. It's just unmatched. Her energy is unmatched. She's such an entertainer. I think that there's only a certain amount of people that are at that level of celebrity that when they're in a room filled with people, everybody. Everybody's energy gravitates towards them because they're just. They're just singular. You're in awe of everything that she's doing, and I felt that tenfold hearing her up on stage and joking, and she just has the best comedic timing, and she's so great in the special. So it was just an honor to be there, and we had so much fun. Big thank you to Maybelline for taking us. It was so much fun, and the whole thing was. Was so well done. And I just. You can always guarantee a laugh when she's around, which is such a great quality. Like, she's always gonna make you laugh.
Rhea
She's so funny. I love it. Like, oh, God, she's just my inspiration. I'm so obsessed with her. And the special was so good. And y. You to Maybelline for taking us, and, you know, we got to walk the carpet. It was, you know, it was high pressure because before we went, we got a dress code, and the dress code changed, and originally it was, like, red carpet chic with a Y2K essence. So it was like, ooh, essence. That means just like, a touch, a little touch. And then it changed to pop star chic. So it was like, you're. I guess I took it as, like, your interpretation of what you would wear if you were a pop star on a red carpet.
Fran
And.
Rhea
And that could be. And that could really be anything at this point. Any. Anything you want it to be is what that is.
Fran
Totally. And we were originally, you know, trying to pull some. Some Hannah inspiration, which I think we. I think we definitely did. I saw someone comment saying that our outfits were giving Hannah and Miley, which I thought was fair, and I liked that comparison.
Rhea
I did, too. I thought that was fun. I feel like, more like, not like Miley in the show, but, like. Like Miley in real life, because.
Fran
Yes. Yes. Miley Cyrus. Not Miley Stewart. No.
Rhea
Yeah, Miley Cyrus. Because Miley Stewart's not wearing a sheer zebra print.
Fran
No, no, no, no. But Miley Cyrus definitely would. So I. I thought that was cute. I mean. Yeah, the carpet was all over the place as far as outfits, because we were joking. I was like, honestly, it would almost be even more fun if the dress code was everybody actually dressed like Hannah Montana. Like, put on the wig, and everyone in the theater is dressed like Hannah Montana. And there was a lot of people that were dressed like Hannah Montana. So it's like, if you wanted to do that, go right ahead, put on the wig, and have fun. So it was actually so fun to see everybody's outfits. I think that there was. There's so many, like, nostalgic outfits of people dressing up in, like, exact looks from the show or special moments from the show, which I thought was so cool and cute.
Rhea
It was so fun to see what
Fran
everybody was wearing or even everyone with a little. With a little Y2K essence. You know, I thought that was so. You know who we saw? Matt Peterson, who was wearing a full swan outfit, like, the full swan fit, which was so good. We were good.
Rhea
We were freaking out. A throwback to. To Miley with Jake Ryan. It was literally so perfect. So, yeah, seeing everyone's outfits and how creative everybody is was so cool. But it was such a wide range. Like, everyone just like, you know, it was kind of like one of those things where it was like, do what you want to do. And that's exactly what Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana represents.
Fran
I feel like, like, just however Miley was there for you.
Rhea
Yeah. Like, just being yourself, and. And I love that. And it was. It was really so cool and so fun. I was joking that you wore these insanely high heels that look so sick and you were so tall in them that there were points of the night.
Fran
Borderline too tall borderline too.
Rhea
No, no. They looked amazing. Like, your legs look insane.
Fran
Thank you.
Rhea
There were points, but I felt really tall that you were in conversations with people that you were eye level with. And I was so much lower to the ground that I was trying to get into conversations that no one can hear me. And I was like, hello? Like, I would. I was so much lower to the ground that I was like, no one. No one can hear me right now.
Fran
I'm down here. I know that. Which is actually true. And I can back you up on that. Where there was definitely times where I was like, repeat yourself. Like, what'd you say? Like, I couldn't hear you because there's all people talking in the lobby.
Rhea
Literally need a megaphone right now. Like, no one can hear me,
Fran
but at the same time, like, wearing heels that giant. There's people that I wanted to meet or. Or introduce myself to that, like, didn't really have high heels on, so they're tiny. Like, I. I think, like, Connor and Brooke were there, and I have never met Brooke, and I love her. I think she's hysterical. I think we're like fangirl sisters at heart. I feel that from her. She's got a new book coming out. Like, I'm. I love her. I love following her. So I wanted Connor to introduce us, but, like, she. She had such a cute little dress on and, like, little heels. And I was like, hey, I'm Fran. I'm such a big fan. I'm, like, looking down. I'm like, no. I was like, it's really nice to meet you. She's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Just take it easy, man. Oh, my God. I just, like, got a kink in my back from doing that.
Rhea
No, but they look. They looked so good. And actually, my sister's friend Alex texted me and said, I just need to give major props to Fran as a fellow tall girly for continuously wearing really tall heels. And I was like, so true. Because they looked so good. Like, they made the outfit, you know, you needed to wear them. Yeah, but it was so. It was so funny.
Fran
I know. And it's funny because, like, they're. They're giant platforms. So I do love wearing them, and I actually have worn them. They were the shoes I wore to the People's Choice Awards. So, like, they're. I mean, they're like a red carpet staple for me at this point. You know, red carpet. Just a salty vet. So I know that they, like, look great on the carpet because, you know, you feel. You feel tall, but, like. And then when you get back to the real world of like, not taking pictures. You're like, I'm. I'm far too tall to be having conversations, but it was. It was. And it's like I was, like, a little uncomfortable in the seat. Like, it's hard. Yeah. You're like.
Rhea
Feet are like.
Fran
Your knees are, like, at your nose, I guess. But, yeah, walking other than that was funny.
Rhea
Yeah. Walking the red carpet as a non. As a non celebrity is really humbling because they. You know, the people are. They do have your name, and they're ready for you to walk the red carpet. And you go up and they have, like, a sign with your name so the photographers can, like, take a picture of your name so that when they upload the pictures, they know who you are, because otherwise they would have no fudgeing clue who we are. And so we walk onto the carpet, and it's like. Like, they're, like, forced to take. They're like, all right, one shot.
Fran
You hear? You go, snap, Snap.
Rhea
Yeah. They're like this. Like, okay, next. Next star. I'm like, okay, I'm actually going to force you to take a picture of my back right now. Like, I gave this. I gave this man no chance. I was like, I'm turning around and. And I turned around. I was like, you're going to get this, honey. You're going to get this booty. I didn't wear a thong with a sheer dress for no reason. You're going to capture this. Hello. Hello. I'm trying to give. Hello. I'm trying to give Tate McCray. And you're not even going to capture this. Wait, you don't think I'm Tate McCray?
Fran
Yeah, from the back. You don't see it?
Rhea
You're not going to yell at me. Rhea. Rhea, turn around. Rhea, from the back. No, I.
Fran
Look at that dress. Oh, Rhea, turn around. Look at that dress.
Rhea
They didn't even hit me with a smile for me. Smile for me. They don't care if I smile. They don't care. They don't want to see these pearly whites. I'm like, God damn, it is so humbling. But, hey, we got the shot. We got the pictures. That's all that matters, you know, because you get off the carpet and you're. And I'm like, texting our group chat, and I'm like, guys, we just hit the carpet. Check the pics out. There's, like, one picture up. I'm like, God damn it. But then. Then we went to sleep. More hit. And I was like, okay, thank God. He got. He got the back shot. Thank you.
Fran
It was in there. Thank God. Your pictures came out so great. I did not love mine, but I was going to say, I'm glad that I thought you look so good. Yeah. Now I. I don't have good red carpet face. Like, you know, like, you can. The, like, smizing. And I was wearing the glasses, and I. Every time I actually tried to smile, like, the glasses would, like, fall off my face. And then I was doing a weird, like, smirk thing. I feel like when I. My closed mouth smile, like, I. I can't, like, close mouth. I was like, okay, Debbie Ryan, like, literally one side goes up where it looks like I'm smirking. I'm like, okay, what is going on here? But the pictures we took, the two of us. The pictures we took, the two of us are cute. Which I also was like, hey, can we. Can we take a picture of the two? Like, they were moving us along. I was like, back it up. I want to get a couple of the two of us together. Which I'm glad we.
Rhea
Because those.
Fran
Those came out great. I laughed. I woke up this morning. I saw. Because my feed right now is just everything, Hannah. Like, it's every video, every outlet. Like my suggested. It's all videos from the premiere and Entertainment Tonight video came up, and I'm in the background of it. But it's Michaela, like, makeup Michaela from TikTok being interviewed. And I'm dying. I was start dying laughing because I'm just in the background. But they're like, michaela, we heard you're dating again. Like, what's going on with your dating life? And I'm like, damn, it's. You know, Michaela's dating life is. I'm like, oh, sorry. Like, I remember I caught myself in the background. I was like, oh, I'm in the back of this. I'm in the back of this. I didn't realize she was talking about her dating life.
Rhea
Yeah, no, I. I hit a Justin Timberlake on that carpet. I was like, I'm Rhea.
Fran
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Rhea
No, by the way, we're on a world tour. You don't know the best show on Earth, Chicks in the Office tour is going on. Who are you? Hard to explain. I'm on a tour.
Fran
Oh, my God.
Rhea
It was.
Fran
No, but the.
Rhea
Oh, so.
Fran
It was so much. It was so much fun and got to sit in the theater. Had great energy to. To watch the special. I don't want to spoil anything because. Oh, no, everyone will have watched it already because it comes out.
Rhea
Yeah, it's out.
Fran
Like, it's okay. Yeah. So spoiler alert if you haven't watched it yet, but hopefully you immediately watched it Tuesday night when it came out. It was. It was so cute. I think they did a really good job with it. Really. Some very funny moments. I had heard that, you know, the. They filmed for a while, so there's a lot of content. I'm hoping maybe we get to see more of it at some point, because whatever. Everything that made it was. Was so funny. Miley's joking about, you know, back in the day, she just wanted to. She didn't really care if she got Hannah Montana because she had a crush on a boy back in. Back at school and was like, if I don't get it, it's fine because I got Jeff back in Tennessee. Like, it was. It was just really so funny. She joked about dating Dylan Sprouse for a hot second, like, going on dates with Dylan. And when they showed the old pictures, it never gets old. Like, it never gets old that it's cute little Miley. And then, like, just the. The hair on Dylan, he looks like he's eight years old, like, insane.
Rhea
I was like, you know, I turned to you, I said, I knew Dylan was the one because he was my number. You know, if you don't know, Dylan Sprouse was literally my. I was obsessed. I had posters on my wall that said, like, who I'm going to marry when I grew up. Dylan Sprouse. Like, it was insane. I was so obsessed with him. Yeah. When he looked like that, like, it was insane. Insane. And Miley, it was. It was just so funny. I mean, she also just joked about Nick Jonas dating Nick Jonas. And she was like, you know, they wanted me to go on tour. And I was like, like, can my boyfriend come? Like. And they were like, sure, have your boyfriend open up. And she was like, great. It'll be more fun. Nick's there. And she was like, name drop. Yeah, I know Nick.
Fran
She basis.
Rhea
She's so funny and, like, so relatable as a young girl. And I think that's why, you know, loving Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus for so many reasons when I was younger. And then also on top of that, like, being in, like, the boy crazy phase and just, like, hearing Miley as herself be like. She was like, yeah. Like, I was like, you know, if I don't get this, like you said, like, cool, well, I'm going back to my crushes at home. And then. And then she was so funny. She was like, there were two Jeffs I got them both. Like, it was just so, so funny.
Fran
And then I just know how to deliver a line.
Rhea
Yeah. Really, really sweet, sweet moments with Tish, who is just a doll. We got to say hi to Tish and Brandy at the after party. And Tish was cracking up. She was like, you girls are sick. And I was like, oh, my God. This is making my whole entire life, like, being told that we are sick from Tish. I was like, this is epic. This is a dream.
Fran
I know.
Rhea
Brandi. So nice.
Fran
We were like, oh, we got to
Rhea
do something in person.
Fran
Yeah.
Rhea
They're just such. There's. They're such a nice family. And then, you know, we're really trying
Fran
to do something with them. I want to say, like, we're really trying. We were like, guys, like, this is crazy. We haven't. We only had them on virtually. We really want to have them in person. And I also want to add that Tish was like, you guys have always been. Oh, geez, thank you for that. Like, she was Brandy from the beginning. Oh, Tish said it too.
Rhea
Oh, wow. Okay. So they both.
Fran
Yeah, no, no. Tish was like, you guys. She's like, you guys have been. You guys have been working at, like, OGs of Miley for a long time.
Rhea
Yeah. Wow. Oh, my God. They both. Recognizing that is, like, insane.
Fran

Also, you can toss it in your gym bag when you're coming back. And you take your hair out of the. You know, to give your hair up, you take it out. You want that blowout to last. Little judge a little Batiste, you're good to go. You can buy the Batiste dry shampoo online or in store at your nearest retailer.
Rhea
Then there was a really sweet moment because we all know, like, the back and forth with Billy right in the family and Miley and. But it is her dad at the end of the day, and he was such a big part of Hannah Montana. And they had a really sweet moment on the show when he came back and they read their lines together and it was really nice.
Caller
And.
Rhea
And you know, Miley did joke like, I think people, the world feels better when the Cyruses are getting along, which was really funny. So then, you know, Selena Gomez made an appearance. And then on top of that, Chapel Rome made an appearance. And let me tell you, different tone in the room when Chapel Roan popped up on the screen versus Selena Gomez popping up on the screen. Like, Selena popped up on the screen. Whoa. Oh, my God, Celine is there. Chapel Rome popped up on the screen. There was like a hush.
Fran
Everyone was like, you know, the audience, like, kind of gasped. It was actually hilarious because it went. It was. Wasn't a gasp, I would say it was like a. A mid. It was in between a cheer and a groan. Like, it was like. Like she popped up and everyone went like this. Oh, like it. But like. But like it clapped. But it was like a. Ooh. Which was funny. Just timing wise of all that. Like, if it was any other time, people have been like, oh, my God, sick. But it's just with the. With everything going on, it was just like cheer. But no, the moment with Selena, I thought was really, really sweet. They've been through a lot, and I think when they can show support for each other, it just speaks volumes to the women that they are now. And it's like they can bond over what they went through, through as teenagers and the crazy times. Because there, you know, there was drama back in the day. There was. There was back in the day.
Rhea
I. So badly. And I think Miley would. But I do not think Selena would. Yeah, I wanted them so badly to talk about their YouTube feud back in the day when, like, Miley and Mandy would go against Demi and Selena and they would make videos. I think Miley would talk about it. I just don't think Selena would. And so I agree.
Fran
It would heal the world.
Rhea
Yeah, it would. Because it would just be funny to hear them joke about it and then even them just joke about Nick Jonas would be funny. But I feel like Selena and Miley are sensitive topics in the Jonas household. Like, I don't know. I. I just. It must have been quite the time. I know Nick has joked about it in some capacity with Miley, but I. I don't know much about with. With Selena, but it was so cool to see her pop in and she was like, you know, meet Miley Cyrus was my life. Like, you know, and they both define such a huge culture of Disney Channel, which is so cool. And then on top of that, at the end, Miley gives us just. Oh, my God in it. Absolutely beautiful song. I actually have chills again talking about it.
Fran
No, when I watch it again at home, I'm gonna, like, sob.
Rhea
It's insane. We were both crying while everyone was crying. Everyone was crying in the theater. Everyone. It's a song to, like, her younger self and she's like, hey, you from younger you. And she's like talking to her mom and dad. And it was. It's so emotional and such a perfect way to wrap up the special, but also such a beautiful song. It was so, so good. I mean, I have constant chills talking about this song.
Fran
It was such a beautiful song. And truly I felt like if I was in the privacy of my own home, I would have been sobbing in a. In a theater in full fucking glam. I was like, do not ruin your makeup right now. Like. But it was, it was a really, really stunning. I mean, she's got, she's got a verse really towards Billy Ray in it that just kind of rips your heart out in a way of acknowledging her. Her relationship with her dad and how things have changed. And it just, it felt like a song for all of us at our age now. Cause, you know, we're similar ages to Miley and we grew up around in the same time. It just felt like a gift to all of us of like, hey, almost like a reminder to treat yourself with kindness and reflect on where you are in your life and think about your younger self and just be ha. Like be proud of yourself for where you are from. From that girl then to the woman you are now. And it was. It's just really, really, really stunning.
Rhea
Yeah. And even with, like, family stuff, everybody has family stuff, whether it's really major or smaller. But I think we can all agree. And if you don't, God bless you. But I, I think it's something that a lot of people can relate to. So just like that aspect of. Of it as well was, Was really sweet. And I think it's such. I think it's such a beautiful song. It's. I thought the special was great. I think Alex Cooper did a great job. Miley joked a lot about Alex on stage. She was like, you know, Alex Cooper moved in right next to me. She got money and decided to move in and then said, you know, oh, you live here. And she interviewed Me five years earlier at my house. So she knew where I lived, which was very funny. And she said that she called Alex up and was like, hey, what do you think people would be interested in? Do you think they'd be interest, interested in this? Which is so funny because you're like, Miley, you obviously know we'd be interested in a Hannah Montana special or anything. But when you're living it, I guess you still need that validation. She even talked about that, like you have that want to be liked and, and whatnot. So that was really cool. I thought Alex did a great job with that and I thought the special just hit where it needed to. Obviously would want even longer more hours of this, but you know, we can't, we can't. Beggars can't be choosers. So you know what, we just need to accept what we got. And I thought it was fantastic. I like, I really, really loved it.
Fran
I agree. I think it was, I think it was really cool. And Alex did do a great job. I think she very much understood the gravity, I guess like, of having to do this. Like, I think it's extremely nerve wracking to be asked to do something like this. And it's Hannah Montana. It's so precious to people. So I think she, she did a really great job with, with that and the, you know. Yeah, selfishly, I wish maybe there was some of the other cast members in it. A lot of the cast was at. They're a premier. No Emily Osment, no Mitchell Musso. They both wrote really nice things on social, of the significance of Hannah Montana in their lives and the love they all have for each other. Emily's on set right now. She's filming a show. So basically, as you're saying, the production time and filming schedule just couldn't work for this. But truly the only thing that could have made it a 9,000 out of 10 was if Emily walked through the door and they, they had a moment because we haven't seen them together in so long and that would have been incredible. But what we, what we got was, was really, really great. And I thought it was a great moment really for Miley. Like this special felt like it was for Miley and she is Hannah Montana. Like, she definitely acknowledged the impact that the rest of the cast had. And you know, Emily and Mitchell were actors already and sort of like how she looked up to them and, and wanted to. They were part of their, their whole, little group, which was really, really sweet. But at the end of the day, like she's Hannah Montana and I think because she has had sort of a, an up and down relationship with Hannah, doing this special to really be around Miley and how she's grown and the love now that she has, looking back for Hannah, looking back at Hannah and that time is, is really special and how it affected the Cyrus family as a whole. And having Billy Ray there, it was great.
Rhea
Yeah. It must be such a weird thing if you really think about it, that she was playing somebody else who also became very famous. So Miley Cyrus was very famous, but Hannah Montana was also very famous. She did a concert where she played both. So to have two people exist in the world that are extremely famous, but you're both of them being one person famous is hard enough. Then you're having to be two people that are very famous. So it, it must be so wild and must have been such a trip in her brain growing up. But now she acknowledged that she was like, I now think of them as one. Like it's, it's no longer two people to me. I, it is both. She said she didn't even put a wig on. It was clip ins, like that's her hair because she is Miley and Hannah Montana. So the whole thing was, was incredibly special. I'll probably watch this special like literally no joke, 15 times and I think I'm going to rewatch Hannah Montana. I am in such a hat Montana mode. I'm in my skims Hannah PJs right now that I'm obsessed with. Like, I'm going to live in this stuff. I, oh, I can't wait. I'm going to watch this special a thousand times.
Fran
I, I agree. I think like, it just warms your heart. Especially with the flashbacks from episodes. You really forget how much you remember and your brain remembers everything. Like every line you could recite every line that's coming up. Everything that's coming up next. You're like, oh my God, I remember this. That moment. Like, I think I watched the. He could be the one episode a thousand times. Like I had that episode purchased on, on itunes. I had like, to be honest, I was a Jake Ryan Stan. So I had every, every episode that Jake Ryan was in shows how boy crazy I was and am at the time. I had purchased all the Jake. Like if Jake Ryan made an appearance, I bought the episode. So I would watch all the Jake Ryan episodes like in a row and like follow the Jake Ryan story.
Rhea
You know what was such a good episode when Jake Ryan, they have him like live as a normal person and they're so annoyed with him. And they're like, Oliver's asleep. And they're like, the only thing bigger than his head was his heart. And then he's like, was his heart like, you remember the lines or. I'm in love with a girl named Miley Stewart. And she, like, it's, it's just replays over and over and honestly, still funny to me. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna do a rewatch.
Fran
We were laughing at the clips. It's still so funny. Plus they talked a lot about the Hannah Montana movie, which made me be like, I gotta watch the movie again, because that's just the best. And she, you know, Miley joked a little bit about, about Taylor Swift too, because she was like, this is, you know, no shade. But at the time, like, we were trying to find somebody that would be like authentically filling that role of someone who, who would actually be like playing in a bar. And that's what Taylor was doing at that time. And she wrote that last song and I saw people discussing this and I just want to double down on it as well, that it truly shows that from such a young age, songwriter of our generation. Because the way that Taylor nailed that last song of, you know, you can change your hair and you can change your clothes, like, just nailed it perfectly where you're like, she got it. She got the Hannah Montana message. That song fits perfectly in the movie. It's so fitting. It's such a great song to close that movie. And it's such a, like, everybody loved it. So I thought that that was a great moment. Doing the hoedown throwdown just takes you back down. Like the Hannah Montana movie was so, was so special to everybody too. So they touched on all the really big things and did such a great job doing it. So that was so great.
Rhea
Yeah, I think, and I know I said it a million times now, I think Miley Cyrus is the coolest fucking person alive. Like, there's, there's no one cooler to me. I, I think she is, I know. The coolest person alive, hands down.
Fran
It's so. Yeah, absolutely. It's so. She had a little like, outfit change into a very 2000s esque chill vibe. And she was in and out of the. The after party pretty quick, but taking some content. She like walks right past us and it's great when she has the blonde hair. She and Tish are like interchangeable from the back. You would have no clue which is which. It's like they got the same hair right now. You're like, is that Miley? Is that Tish? It's just like, is it Hannah? It's so crazy, but it was so fun to Just to see them. She came in, she took a bunch of pictures in front of the big Hannah Montana marquee Light up logo. And we were actually. We were starving, so we got some food, and we're standing at a table. And where we were standing, she walked in and out just, like, right past us. And we were like, huh? And like, ria, look, you're. We're mid empanada. I'm like, I'm mid.
Rhea
I'm mid empanada bite. I'm mid empanada with sour cream and salsa on it. And Miley's walking past me. I'm like. And I fumbled so hard because I got my camera ready because she literally. We. We may have brush shoulders. And I was gonna stop her for a picture, but she was about to get swarmed. And I was like, okay, you know what?
Fran
She was moving fast.
Rhea
Not the time. And then the girl right after us asked her for a selfie, and she took it. And I was like, God damn it,
Fran
why didn't you ask?
Rhea
You know, closed mouths don't get fed. But I'm fed right now. I'm shoving an empanada in my fucking mouth. Miley Cyrus is walking past me. I would add empanada teeth.
Fran
We both would have. Honey. It would have been. It would have been both of us.
Rhea
Or she's.
Fran
You know, this is like when.
Rhea
When I did the thing with Wish, she's thinking, wow, that was so cool that she didn't ask me for a picture. That was really nice of her to not ask me. Yeah, no, sorry. I just was too busy stuffing my face.
Fran
Yeah. My God, it was so funny. You know what? I loved and, like, good for them that they're all still so close. So Moises Arias and his brother were there, and they were on the carpet. Jason Earl was there. Cody Lindley was there, too. There's a lot of fun. Members from the cast were there. I saw Jason doing an interview with. Doing, like, his full Jackson, Rod Stewart. And I was like, oh, the nostalgia. I couldn't take it. It was so good. He's where it looked like he was wearing his real authentic Rico's T shirt. Like, it was the. The logo was all torn up. But at the after party, I'm looking over. I'm like, what in the world? Jaden and Willow Smith are here. Like, I'm like, what a. What a. What a bizarre combo. And by the way they stayed the whole time, like they. They were there.
Rhea
I noticed on the carpet, I was like, oh, I know.
Fran
And I thought, you know what? That's so nice. Because remember years they're not. I don't see as much of their social as I used to. But I remember, you know, back in the day, that was like a whole group. Remember seeing Kendall Jenner hang out with like Jada Smith and Moises and like they had like this, this.
Rhea
Yeah. Kylie Jenner dated Jaden Smith.
Fran
Yeah. Where they were like all together all the time. And I would see all the. Their pictures of all of them and I was like, oh, my God, that's so sweet that Jaden and Willow came to support Moises and being back for Hannah Montana. I said, that's so lovely. They were. And they seemed to be having a lovely time.
Rhea
That is really nice.
Fran
Yeah.
Rhea
It was just. The nostalgia was hitting in all the right places and it was just a 10 out of 10 night and 10 out of 10 special. So if you haven't watched it, go watch it. Because it is.
Fran
If you haven't watched it. Sorry, we spoiled. We just spoiled the whole thing. So. Yeah.
Rhea
A little preview though. We don't do it justice, though. You gotta watch it.
Fran
No, you absolutely have to watch it because words, there's. There's not enough words that can just describe. Like hearing that new song. You got to see that for yourself. And she did perform a couple other Hannah songs as well. Which. Which was great. So she, you know, she did climb best both worlds.
Rhea
So cool.
Fran
So cool. Cool. And I just. I want more Hannah. I'm like, give me more Hannah.
Rhea
I know, I know. But I. Like I said, we can't. We can't beg. I know, I know. You gotta be happy with what we got.
Fran
Exactly. And like Alex Cooper said, it's like, you know, close. Doing this 20th anniversary special is just like closing. Closing the chapter. Closing the book on it. So fun to reminisce and acknowledge 20 years. The haniversary. I should say Milo is saying it's not the anniversary, it's the Haniversary.
Rhea
That's. That's right. That is right. All right, we're going to get into the rest of the show. We have more. More Mormon wives talk. You know, like the talk of the Mormon wives does not end. There's something new every single day. Alex Earl's. A new brand has finally been revealed. It was a whole wtf as Alex doing. We finally got it. There is a little update from the Bravo world with real Housewives of Miami and Real Housewives of New Jersey. So we'll get into that and then we have the popcorner. So let's get into it. I stayed stocked in my hotel room with the Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. They got two flavors. This is the Pepsi Probiotic Cola, the original cola. And then there's also the Pepsi Probiotic Cola, Cherry vanilla, which is so delicious. I love them both. It's just 30 calories, 5 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of prebiotic fiber. It's so delicious. Guys, you have to try these if you haven't already. I'm going to actually crack mine open right now. Ooh, cracked mine open. So delicious. It's a great pick me up. Whether it's lunchtime, you're hanging on the couch, really, whenever. Having them in the hotel room right now. A plus. I've been cracking, Honestly, I've been cracking them open pretty early. Wake up. I'm like, I am craving one of these right now. You can try the Pepsi Prebiotic Cola now. It's all available, so try it today. More Mormon wives news because we cannot go a day without Mormon wives news. Number one, Jesse's husband filed a restraining order against her. What is going on? Then we saw tease, which I'm sure by the time that this comes out, it may have been already released that I believe Jesse is going on. Call her daddy. Because the tease was like, truth box. I'm not the only one who cheated. So to me that seems like Jesse is going to maybe talk about Jordan's alleged cheating as well. I say alleged because we don't. We don't. We didn't see the interview yet, so we don't know what's to be said. And then we see restraining order. I'm like, what is going on? What is going on?
Fran
I know. And I guess there are different types of restraining orders. It's like, I think people always immediately go to the physical aspect of you must stay X amount of feet away from me at all times sort of thing. But I guess there are other types of restraining orders. I'm not the restraining order expert. I don't know. But it's like a restraining order to get someone just to stop them from doing something or something like that. So people were speculating maybe this was a restraining order that, that he. She can't talk about him or something. Something like that. But granted, it does seem like she's talking about him. Like you said with, with this caller daddy interview that'll be coming out today as well, but temporary. It was a Temporary restraining order was filed in the pending divorce case, that he had filed the restraining order on March 20th and that Jesse had then opposed the order that same day, which I'm not quite sure what that means.
Rhea
Yeah, it is crazy because your mind does immediately jump to the physical aspect of like, you cannot be this certain amount of feet away from, from me or near me. So that part is confusing. I guess there are different ones, so there's that. But this whole thing is so insane. And I really cannot wait for her interview with Alex to come out because it seems like she's going to be talking like, especially with the whole truth box thing.
Fran
Yeah. Let me tell you something. We already don't like Jordan. And I can say with confidence without hearing this interview as a full statement, if you guys have listened to it already, I probably hate him even more now. Right.
Rhea
I mean, that just goes, it goes without saying.
Fran
Yeah. And, and I have a feeling that Jesse's been trying to protect him for the sake of their family. And I hope she just lets it fly now because the fact that he's pulling these moves, filing for divorce, restraining order, it's, it's madness. It's ridiculous. So I'm excited to see what she has to say about it. And it's, it's gonna be good.
Rhea
Do you think Jordan's like, I'm a little jealous we're not in the news. It's too much Taylor and Dakota, like, I need to get my name out there 100%.
Fran
I think he wants to be a superstar. He's riding Jesse's coattails. I also was laughing because in my head I thought, wow, so interesting that ABC would, you know, whatever abc, Hulu, Disney would, it's all one thing. Would let Jesse do this type of interview right now. Call Her Daddy, Sit down thorough. Like, Alex will ask the questions. She, she won't hold back in this situation. And then I thought, you know what? They, they want 9 million different news stories about morbid wives coming out that aren't about Taylor. So yeah, let's have Jesse sit down on Call Her Daddy. Like, let's have Jesse sit down on Call Her Daddy and have a billion other stories come out. Because it's, it's been non stop even. Like, so Chase's sister. Did I, we talked about this on Monday. Chase's sister made a video that was like, I heard Jordan's going to jail. And everyone was like, sis. What? Like sources, question mark. Like what? Where'd you hear this? And then Chase posted a video of him like, calling his sister being like, bro, where did you hear this? Like, you. I, like, I don't think that's true. So the rumors that they all must be hearing in Utah, because I just feel like they all love to gossip in that community anyway. Must be flying of things that they're hearing and talking about. And I trust Jesse to really bring the tea for everybody on as much as she can say. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff with Taylor and Dakota that she can't talk about, but I'd imagine she'll say as much as she possibly can. And I think we have to understand, like, I don't want anyone to be mad at Jesse if they're like, she didn't talk about this. She talked about that. I'm like, I can only imagine she wants to talk about all of it, because right now, the rest of them giving their side and where they're at only helps them because I think they're all kind of fighting for their jobs right now on. On tv. And then, bam, they hit us with news that they're going to do a reboot. Now, I'm sure all these girls are like, fuck, I'll move to Orange county tomorrow. Get me on this. Get me on this other show. Or, like, if we don't know what's going to happen with Salt Lake City Mormon Wives. And now they just announced, which is another one. You're like, okay, good timing on make sure we put the announcement. I'm like, put the announcement out about a new show. They're doing a Mormon Wives in Orange county with Jen Affleck. And Jen's the only cast member, at least currently announced from the cast that will be joining this show with nine new cast members, which I suppose checks out for the way things have been going with Jen in this group. It's like if one of them were to peel off because they're not really in it with everybody else. Whitney, I'm like, girl, you fly. Do whatever you want. You don't even need to be on these shows anymore. You know, you don't need to be a part of this. But Jen. Jen is jumping ship to Orange county. And that one makes sense to me, despite everyone in the comments being like, we so did not need a new show from Jen.
Rhea
No, I am full agreement with that. Like, I don't care about this new show. I don't want to watch any more of Zach particularly, either. Like, I. I would actually.
Fran
I would have been way more excited. They just said they're starting a new show in Orange county, none of the original cast members are in it. It's, it's a whole different show with different people.
Rhea
Right. Give us a, give us a new cast. I mean, that would be fun to shake it up a little bit, but I do not have interest in watching Jen and Zach any, any further on their own separate show. I couldn't agree more, to be quite honest. So there is, they, they are just news hit and I cannot imagine until after this interview drops of how much is going to come out. But yeah, Disney is like, yes, yes, we need it all. We need it all because we need people to forget that this Taylor, Frankie Paul thing is happening. Even though we will not forget because people want to know. People want to know what's going to happen.
Fran
And I'm really surprised with how much she has been online. I'm not going to lie. Did you see comments?
Rhea
Someone's, someone said like made a video about how she's online and she wrote, what do you want me to do? Stare at a wall? No, Taylor, no. That's not the only thing that exists. You have kids, you have a life. Like, genuinely, their brains are so warped with reality TV and being online that she genuinely commented, what do you want me to do? Stare at a wall? Like, everyone's like, no, we want you to like, go take care of yourself and like be, be with your kids maybe, I don't know, just insane.
Fran
It's like, turn your phone off. It's not healthy to be reading everything too. So it's like, oh, you're seeing everything or commenting on things. She's been commenting about the, the trauma of her daughter having to now relive this because of the video being put out again. And I don't know, in my head I'm like, okay, it's
Rhea
consequence of your own actions.
Fran
Yeah, like, I, I get it, I get what, I get what you're trying to say. Did you see the video that they also released of Dakota, like begging the police to arrest him instead?
Rhea
Yeah, crazy, crazy.
Fran
The whole thing really is, is, is so nuts. But yeah, I, I, I see the comments and truly I'm just like, I get what you're trying to do, Taylor, in some way. But at the same time I think it would really speak volumes if you got off your phone and was out of the comments and just like taking a step away from all this to try and really take care of yourself. So I don't know, it's, it's non stop. But yeah, 100%. It's like, let's get let's get, let's get Jesse on call her daddy. Let's get some other stories out there to to move on from from all of this situation with with the Bachelorette,
Rhea

Real Housewives of New Jersey. There has been different reports. Apparently Miami's been put on pause. And then on top of that Margaret said that she won't be returning to real houses in New Jersey. I'm confused of when we are even getting the Real House of New Jersey again because you know we got Dolo going on Rhode island soon as a friend of she'll be on there. He's going to pop on Jersey as well. When, whenever that comes back and then Miami even though so interesting and the drama really popped off on that show that's been Put on pause.
Fran
Let me just say Bravo has done Real Housewives of Miami dirty because these women are such great television, and they put on some amazing seasons. I fucking loved Real Housewives of Miami.
Rhea
The last one. Good.
Fran
It was so good. And it's crazy to me that they get put on pause. I think Bravo did nothing to help them. I always felt like they did not promote this show enough. They had a summer release date for them. It got lost in the mix. It did not get talked about enough. And these girls were putting out some fantastic episodes. It was. I'm like, you're going to stand behind Beverly Hills? That's just like, been boring for multiple seasons now. And Miami, where every episode you're laughing out loud because it's. It's funny, entertaining, there's drama, everything. And just put them on pause. I was very upset when I saw this news, and I would like them for, like, for them to be unpaused. Please.
Rhea
Please.
Fran
Damn right unpause. Button it. I don't want them pause. I want them unpause. I love that.
Rhea
Play.
Fran
Press play. Press play. Press play. God damn it. Dorit was on watch what happens live recently, and Andy asked her about the unpaid mortgage, which has been in the news of Dorit, you know, selling. Selling her house and unpaid mortgage. And. And Larsa commented on a club of it being like, rhom all their. All their mortgages up to paid up to date. It's like, we're ready to go. I. I think Miami is also such a hot spot right now. We know of all the people that have moved to Miami or are talking about Miami visiting Miami, there's just so much going on in Miami that they deserve to have a franchise there that gets the respect that they deserve. And with all the drama that's been happening with rebooting Roni for another time and Beverly Hills, like, trying to add new people. And some of it works, some of it doesn't. I like. I watch Beverly Hills because it's Beverly Hills, but every episode I'm like, I don't even. Two days later, I don't even remember what happened in the episode.
Rhea
Me too. I've been watching Beverly Hills and have just not put it on my weekly watch report because I've been actually just forgetting that I watched it.
Fran
Exactly. And that speaks volumes, you know, that we don't even remember that we're watching it. And New Jersey has been all over the place. We know that for. For really the last year plus of what are they doing? Are they filming? Are they not New cast Members Teresa and Melissa. They are getting. Will they film together? Will they not now it seems that they are, I think, getting closer to starting filming. From what the rumors were, it was like, oh, Teresa and Melissa both would be back with a whole bunch of new people, which is interesting. But Mar. Margaret has firmly. She came out and said that she's not a part of it anymore. She's officially saying goodbye. She shared a video that on social saying, hey, guys, it's the Marge. I'm dialing in. I have to tell you something that might come as a little surprise to you, but not for me. I've been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the Housewives of New Jersey. Sorry I don't look a little more glamorous for you. I have been in talks with the network and Andy Cohen since December. We've discussed it. I think the timing is right.
Rhea
I think that's fair. I. I think, yeah, I think the time has come.
Fran
Yeah. She said she's ready to. To move on to different projects. She teased different projects, both personal and professional reasons for why she was ready to exit. She said a lot of things have changed in her, in her life. She gave a thank you to NBC and Bravo and Andy and everyone. You know, it's not the last time. We'll.
Rhea
We'll.
Fran
We'll see her and all those things. So it's, it's interesting because you really, as of right now, like, we really don't know who's going to be a part of it. And also, if I'm. If I'm Margaret, I might be thinking, look, it seems like it's a done deal that Theresa and Melissa are back. I don't really know if I want to be a part of that same sort of narrative and storyline that we've had for years, because no matter what with those two, that's the centerpiece of the show is, like, their relationship and their families and how that's going, how they interact. And that's been the case for years. It's probably maybe a little exhausting at this point.
Rhea
Right. At some point, she's probably like, all right, I need to live for myself and do my own projects and not really be like a side character or background to whatever Melissa and Teresa and their family's fighting about or not fighting about. So, you know what? I respect the decision. I think that's fair. And it's always. It's nice to know the time to move on. Right. Because people sometimes stayed way too long on reality TV and Like, Real Housewives of New Jersey is so good. I would be okay if they were kind of like, we're going to wrap this up, because it's had its ginormous moments. And now that we know that Melissa and Teresa are like, they're good and they're getting along, I'm like, you know what, guys? Go live life off tv. Go enjoy each other's company. You know, company. Have them come over for a cup of coffee, the whole thing. So I would be fine with it. But also, you know what? They are iconic. So I do understand. But for, like, the side characters, as I would like to say on Real House of New Jersey, I understand wrapping it up. It's like, okay, I understand. It's my time to go. So I think you said it all having to do with Miami and. And New Jersey also. Last topic before we get into the popcorner. Alix Earl. We finally know what she's doing. We finally know what the fuck Alex Earl is doing. She's been teasing this project, I think, for a couple months now. It's been, you know, seemingly so that she was working on a brand of her own. And then this past week, there was a lot of buildup of, WTF is Alex doing? She sent people luggages with Puzzle P and had, you know, a billboard in New York City where the puzzle pieces were being put together, which was really fun. And it was like a whole scramble. Now come to realize TMZ has reported, and I think she's doing a full release today, on Tuesday, that it is Real Actives. It's a skincare brand. Real is a scramble of her last name, Earl, hence the puzzle pieces and putting it all together. I think that's fun. That's fun branding. Good marketing. So interesting. It kept people on their toes all day of, like, we now I really want to know what the fuck she's doing, because it's not just one big reveal. We have to put the puzzle pieces together. And she has been so open about her skincare journey and her acne journey, and I think that's like, a big reason as to why she kind of took off in the first place on TikTok was that she was this gorgeous girl, University of Miami, you know, had it all. And then she started being, you know, real online and posting pictures of her acne that a lot of people struggle with. And girls were like, oh, wait, you know, she's not relatable in a lot of ways, but this is something that I can relate to. And so I hope that with this brand she has done, and I'm sure that she's done a ton of research and worked the right people because she herself knows how important it is to use the right ingredients on your face and not just throw together a skincare brand that, like, yeah, just use that and whatever.
Fran
I agree. I think if, if she's going into skincare took a lot of thought and consulting the right people because she knows what it's like to try a new product and have it break you out or have a bad reaction and all these things. So I feel like it has been a work in progress for a long time because they've been really careful and thoughtful with this process for all those reasons. I also think real actives, like, I think actives, active ingredients, like, you're making products that have those active ingredients that really do something. It's not just, you know, a band aid. It's. It's something that could really help your skin. Like you said, bravo on the marketing, well done. She's got a great team with her. This was really well put together. It wasn't just a normal launch. She had people guessing for days, weeks. Like, it's. Everyone's been speculating for a while, but, you know, starting the Instagram page, starting the TikTok page, posting videos. What is she doing? What is this? It got the people talking and what a great way to, like, have people follow an account that when it is revealed, you can just turn it into the brand's account. So that's really smart. You know, you already have all the followers that we're following. You know, wtf is Alex doing? She'll be able to turn that into her full skincare account. The name, it all makes sense, but. And you know, TMZ found the trademark, so TMZ had posted it a little early. I think by the time you guys are all listening this, the full announcement from Alex herself has come out. We wanted to talk about it just because I think you'll all know what it is already. So. Yeah. And the billboards, Gorgeous. I thought for a second, I thought maybe a bathing suit line. I wasn't sure. But skincare, this makes a lot of sense for her. Like you said, it's very on brand. With the struggles she's talked about and what had. What's made her as famous as she
Rhea
is, I feel like she has also worked with so many brands by now. She's been on brand trips. She knows what works and doesn't work because she, I, I think is at the top of the list for brands who people want to work with. So I think that she has really great experience now. And now going on the other side of that side of it, I think that she will be majorly successful with this. I think it's going to be a big. And I just have to say, if you're making a skincare line or makeup line and the first letters in R, you're on the right path. We got road, we got rare, now we got real.
Fran
For a second I was like, I can't even think of one. And then you said, I was like, oh, yeah, there's a lot of big
Rhea
ones with a lot of rolls off the tongue now.
Fran
Rolls off the tongue. Real actives. Makes like rea flows. It's a good name, I think for sure.
Rhea
Yeah. And it tells you what it is. So I'm excited to see the products and everything that will be revealed. And that wraps up the topics before
Fran

Caller
Hey, ladies, this is Ashley. Now that Meghan Markle has officially been removed from Netflix, what do you think this is going to mean for not just the show, but, you know, for the sales of the jams? I'm really looking forward. I was really looking forward to another season. I thought it was going to happen so we could find out more about the jams, but for some reason she's no longer partnering with Netflix. So just want to know what your thoughts are about that and what your thoughts are about the future of the jam. All right. Love you guys. Bye.
Rhea
I love you for this question. This is a great question. And honestly, I didn't know that this happened. I didn't know that her show on Netflix got canceled. I thought we were coming back for another season. More jam.
Fran
Well, the show, it's very confusing because the show, I don't think the show was canceled.
Rhea
But Netflix canceled their partnership.
Fran
But Netflix is out of. Like as ever it was.
Rhea
We want more jam, Meghan. Give us the damn jam.
Fran
Yeah, or maybe the show is. I don't know. So this is a Page Six article from a few days ago, actually, that says that the headline was, Meghan Markle left Netflix millions of dollars in the hole with severed as ever deal. They never saw return. Sources claim as ever, Megan Robbins back in her place. She was back in her homes. She posted pictures of. Even off this brief sales pitch, people were quick to point out that high camp goes against the ideals that Markle and her husband allegedly hold so, so dear. The company ships orders from its California farm via FedEx Priority to ensure customers get the pedals within 24 hours of being cut. I don't know. She's. Now she's doing florals.
Rhea
Listen, Megan has a. Megan has a lot of ventures, but what Megan should really focus on is becoming the queen of jam. If Megan wants to make it become the queen of Jam. Okay, okay, wait.
Fran
So it. So it was all. It was all canceled?
Rhea
Yeah. It's done for.
Fran
Sources argue that many flower suppliers ship by air. But it's just another day in Sussex land where the Duchess's best attempts to present a glossy golden image are often at odds with headlines portraying her as so demanding and arrogant that even Netflix boss Ted Sarandos won't take her calls without a lawyer on the line, a claim that Netflix denies. That was a rumor that went around too, that Ted Saranos wouldn't even call her take her calls. It's all part of the fallout of news that her, as ever, partnership with Netflix is over. Just after just 11 months, the brand was launched in tandem with her show with Love Megan, which won't return for a third season. Inside Netflix, there were. There are many who are happy to talk about what really went down. Netflix put millions behind this deal and I don't think they saw a return whatsoever. They just cut a loss, someone from claimed one company Insider. Others said there was no point in the streamer working on the brand when there was no show. Industry experts point out it can take years to launch a brand and return all investment, noting that it took Amazon nine years to become profitable, while Hailey Bieber's road beauty line did not return for investors for three years. And then there's. Oh, there's always rumors. There's a lot of people who said they didn't enjoy working with Megan on With Love, and there's no love lost between them. I. I do think that they get put in this, like, there's almost more pressure on them to succeed immediately. They don't really get the grace of, like, getting some time to. To work through some kinks at the beginning, because all these deals that they make, they're like, like, oh, one year, 11 months. Like, it's like, oh, we're not. We're not seeing anything. We're pulling the plug. It's happened now with a lot of big brands, and it's not good.
Rhea
Yo. They make Megan seem like a terror to work with anybody who's ever worked with her. Really makes her seem, like, to be not great. She's got to rebrand herself as Sweet Jam lady because they. They're. They're coming for every time they work with her, which is no good.
Fran
And, my God, the jam's delicious.
Rhea
The jam is delicious. So she needs to re. She needs to go full jam. That's my take. Go full Jam, Megan. Lean in. Cut. You know, cut it out with the podcast and the television shows and, you know, whatnot. Go Sweet Jam lady route, and the buyers will come.
Fran
Yeah. Well, it almost seems like now they're sort of leaning into what their old royal duties used to be, but not, like, official royal things. Like, it's like, oh, they're gonna do a tour of. I think they're doing, like, a Australia tour or something soon. I just see there's 9 million headlines about them every day. It actually really is crazy, like, without fail. But I know that they were like, oh, they're gonna go on some big trip, and there's, like, you know, tickets that you can buy that are thousands of dollars to see them. I'm like, so they're. They're trying to do the royal, like, lean back into what they were doing as royals, but not, like, officially be royals, because they're probably like, oh, this is what we're best at. Showing up places and smiling and waving. They are going to return to Australia in mid April for a series of private. Private business and philanthropic engagements, making this their first visit since 2018. The pseudo royal trip is what they're calling. It includes Meghan headlining a $3,000 per ticket.
Rhea
Her.
Fran
Her best life women's retreat in Sydney and Harry attending a Melbourne mental health summit. So she's hosting this. This retreat. That's $3,000 a ticket. Yeah, that's. That's probably what they're going to do. They're going to charge up the wazoo for people to, like, go, get to hear Megan talk.
Rhea
Listen, that's nice and all, but give us the jam. All right, next voicemail.
Caller
My name is Brianna and my hot take is that Ticketmaster is faking these cues and wait lists in order to get us to pay more. I don't even know if this is a hot take because I feel like everyone might agree, but, like, no matter who the artist is, a list, D list niche, there's always tens or hundreds of thousands of people in their queue. And in my mind I'm like, there's no way this many people are trying to get tickets to one tour date. And it's just really frustrating. And I'm not blaming Taylor Swift. It's not her fault. But this was never like this before the Eras Tour, because the Eras tour changed a lot of things in history because of its impact and all the people that wanted to go. But I feel like it used to be so easy to get tickets if you logged on right at the time the sale started. And now, like, you really just have to pray and do all your luck and manifestation rituals if you want to take it to something because you could be on there right when it starts and there's suddenly 248,000 people ahead of you. So we need to band together and do something about Ticketmaster. Who's with me? Thank you. Bye.
Rhea
Listen, we. Everyone's with you, but the fact that I feel so naive for never thinking about the fact that they were faking these numbers in the queue. Like, I have just always been like, yeah, obviously there's 145,000 people waiting to get Harry Styles tickets. Duh. At this exact time and this exact day. Yeah, I, you're right. You're. You're absolutely correct. They probably are fake pumping the numbers so that when people get in, they see the price of the number and the tickets. A thousand dollars. And they go, oh, my God. Well, I'm never going to get back in the queue. I must buy this. A thousand dollar ticket. It boom. And that's how they get you.
Fran
I couldn't agree more. I'm so down on this. On. On this thought there. They've been lying to us for years. I. I don't know if you guys saw the story recently of I Think it was executives or people at Live Nation, Ticketmaster that. I don't know if it was, like, emails or a call. I think it was maybe emails that got put out. That was them basically laughing at the public that they were making so much off of. Charging for, like, parking. Parking spots is like, ah, yeah, we got them, like, and they'll pay, like, you know, charging $250 for a parking spot. It's. It's greed at its highest form because they are the only way. It's like, well, yeah, if there's only a parking spot through you, they charge a ridiculous amount. They're like, we're robbing these people blind. It's like, yeah, you are. I absolutely have had that thought before. When I enter a queue and I'm like, Show me the 300,000 people that are in front of. Like, it's. The numbers are always crazy. They jump so dramatically. Like, maybe one minute you're so high, and then you. It, like, loses three people, but then maybe it loses thousands of people. It's like. It's. It's crazy. And, you know, it was going on before Taylor Swift. I will say, as someone that actively buys tickets often or wants to go to shows often, it was happening before the ERAS tour. Yes, the ERAS tour absolutely changed everything. But having those official platinum tickets and overcharging and blah, blah, blah, that's been going on for far too long. And it's brutal. It's brutal.
Rhea
It is. And we're with you. We're fighting that good fight. All right, let's play the next one.
Caller
Hi, Rhea, Fran, and Nora. This is Nicolette calling from California. I'm wondering what your guys's opinion is or if you've listened to Hilary Death's new album, Luck or something. It released on February 20. I don't believe I've heard you guys talk about it. Obviously, I know Fran went to her concert not too long ago, and I just. Just. I'm actually completely obsessed with the new album. I'm so happy with it. It's nostalgic, but it's also so at the same time reminiscent of her Youth and Elizabeth McGuire and that whole, you know, nostalgic scene as well. Just being so mature and adult and there's so many good songs on it. So I'm curious if you guys have listened and if so, what are your favorite songs? Thank you. And I love you. Sh. Bye.
Fran
I have listened. I am a. I am a big fan. I am wanting to go, hopefully in August when she's at msg, which I think is amazing. She did play some of the new ones when I saw her in Brooklyn, which was really cool to see them in that setting. But the album is really fun. It's quick. It's 11 songs, 37 minutes. Like, you know, you're one. One little walk around the block. You can really listen to the whole thing. But I really liked it. I thought it was well done. The songs are catchy and fun, and it does feel like it's coming from her. It's very personable. She's telling stories about herself. I know she's talked about in a lot of interviews, writing a song about relationship with her sister and just like, hey, I'm writing from my experiences and this is. Is something that I have gone through. I'm not like, speaking for her, but this is how I, how I feel about it. She sang Weather for Tennis in. At the show, and I really liked that one. So I would say I really enjoy weather for tennis and I like. I liked Holiday Party a lot as well. Those were, those were some ones that I. That I really liked from, from this album.
Rhea
Yeah, I, I listened to the album. It's not my favorite, but I do support everything she's doing. You know what I mean? Like, I'm all in on her, kind of like owning the nostalgia, but also she's like, I'm grown and I'm going to be singing about my relationship, my. My relationships with family. So I fully support everything she's doing. Wasn't my favorite, but hey, she's a great performer.
Fran
Totally.
Rhea

Hi, friend. My name is Natalia from Puerto Rico. Thank you for loving Bad Bunny so much. I love you guys about that Bunny so well. Thank you so much. Anyway, the reason I'm calling is because I want to know your opinion. I don't know if. If you guys have talked about this earlier and I haven't listened to it yet, but I want to know what is your take on podcasts directly linked to a show? For example, the Traders podcast, the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, the Love is Blind. What is reality? I think, what's the reality? What is your take on it? In my opinion, it's like, I think it's a little biased and I think it's. It's seen through my eyes. Like there's a producer always watching every word you're saying about the show and not being unbiased in. In some way like that. And actually, I. With the almost. Almost Famous podcast and you guys, with your six in the Office podcast, you can be. Be as liberal or as open as you want about these shows without having someone, like, saying, no, you can't say that about the show or etc. Etc. I don't know, I just think it's. It feels like a little bit produced or over produced. Like, it's enough with the show. Like, let. Let people talk what they want to talk. Like, I feel like. Like it's a way for them to control the narrative in some way. I don't know. What's your take on it? Thank you for listening. Thank you for living. Bad Bunny. I love you guys. Have a nice day.
Rhea
I love it.
Fran
First of all, let me tell you something. I'm gonna let. I'm gonna let Rhea. I'm gonna let Rhea give her thought. I just want to say, boy, you read Rhea's mind because we were getting ready for the. For the Hannah Montana premiere, and she had this thought unprovoked, like she had seen it too, and was like, you know what? We're doing too many of these things. So, Rhea, how do you feel about official TV show podcasts?
Rhea
I'm done. I'm done with these official TV show podcasts. One for every goddamn show. We don't. We don't need it. Here's the thing. You're absolutely correct with everything you're saying. It is a way to control the narrative. They're not going to be able to speak their mind of what they can't say. Hey, I hated this episode. Like, when we talk about traitors, we go, that was a good episode. That was a bad episode. They can't do that, you know, or any other show that you're mentioning. You know, the Tell me Lies one. You can't be like, yo, this episode sucked. Like, it. It's so freeing to be able to say whatever the. The you want on your show with your real opinion. These shows, I don't think can do that. It's very produced. You're 100% right. There's somebody standing behind the camera being like, you better say the right thing. You better damn right say the right thing, because we're going to make you cut if you don't. It's probably got to go through lines of edits of. Okay, let's make sure nothing bad was said. It's too produced. I don't like when podcasts are so produced like that. I like podcasts that are just, like, off the cuff, given real opinions, real people, the whole thing. So you're. You literally read my mind because I was laying in bed after. We're getting our makeup done. I'm chilling, I'm looking at my phone. I said, we do not need more of these official podcasts. Now, listen, is it probably, like, a lucrative deal, like, thinking about it from the business side, a lucrative deal for the people that are doing them, and they are approached with like, hey, do you want to be the official podcast of this show? Yeah. They're like, you know what? Yeah, I'm gonna take the deal. They're probably getting paid. Well, at one point, we tried to be the official podcast of Love island, but we do love Love island, and I do think we'd be able to give our real opinions because it's such a. Like, Love island is like, you know, they want your opinions on that. That did not end up happening, but we. We tried to make that happen. But now that was before all of this. Like, that was before the official podcasts were a thing. Now we. It's every show, and I'm like, do we need an official podcast for Love Story on Hulu? Do we need an official podcast for that? I don't think that we do. So, yeah, that's my take on it. I'm totally in agreement with you, and you literally read my mind. And I almost jumped out of my chair hearing this voicemail because, wow, I'm so happy you brought that up because I've been waiting a damn minute to talk about it.
Fran
She. She really did have that. Have that thought, you know, I absolutely agree. I think at the end of the day, doing these official podcasts is like. Is another added stream of revenue for these companies in promoting the show. It's really just can be like a giant ad for the show because they can get the actors, the contestants, whoever, to do the podcast. That's where the interviews lie. It's a machine. It's a way to keep everything in half house where your company is getting all the revenue. It's like, oh, tell me lies. It's on Hulu. We're going to get every cast member to do these interviews and talk about each episode. And everyone's going to want to hear from those actors. They don't have to do big press cycles on other shows because they don't
Rhea
got to come on chicks on the office.
Fran
They're doing it on ours. And then we can make the money from that. Like we had get the ad revenue from them doing their interview because it's on our podcast. It's a whole business model. Abc, you know, Disney is definitely jumping on because if you, if you open Hulu now, it's like, here's all the shows and every single show has an official podcast that's with it. Now look, if they call us and say, hey, Rhianne, friend, you guys, official, you know, not, not stepping on Joey's toes, I'm sure he will continue to be the host. But if they were like, we're switching up for Dancing with the Stars, you guys wouldn't be the official podcast of Dance with the Stars. I'm taking that call. But no, it is, it's a, it's a, it's, it's very clear and it's every network. I mean, you watch any show on HBO is the same thing. Like Game, any Game of Thrones show, they do a pause at the end of the episodes, like, stay tuned for a look. Or at the beginning. Like, make sure you listen to the, to the rewatch of the podcast that goes along with it. Everything has a podcast that goes along with it that some people do on their own and they can give a little bit more honest feedback. But yes, when it is branded as like the official podcast, the ultimate message is going to be promoting the show in a positive light.
Rhea
Yeah. And you know, sometimes there are good clips that come from it. You know, I won't knock that. There are some good clips sometimes.
Fran
Great. They get great people to host a lot of them too. So it's like, like they get good, talented people to do it and then that's like you. I completely understand the business model of wanting to do it. It makes sense. But yeah, it's, it's just It's a lot. Every single show has one.
Rhea
Yeah. And it's. I believe it's unnecessary. All right, that wraps up the popcorner. That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so very much.
Fran
Much.
Rhea
You know, if you're listening to the show and you're coming to the show tonight in Dallas, we can't wait to see you there. And we will have an episode on Friday. We're gonna come home from Dallas straight from the airport and record the podcast if all goes as planned, because flights, airports, the whole thing is an absolute shit show right now. So hoping for the best. And bear with us if we get screwed. We really do apologize in advance because it is something else right now. But. But we love you guys so much.
Fran
That's a good. That's a good disclaimer. It is.
Rhea
Because we, you know, right now, our team's flight did get canceled going to Dallas, so they're trying to figure that out. So we're trying to figure it all out. But we love you guys so much, and we'll talk to you on Friday.
Guest Rapper
Yeah. Chicks in the office.
Fran
