Absolute Batman write Scott Snyder said the quiet part out loud. It's hard to get a comic storyline to last past six or eight issues because readers drop the book after the first couple. He also says that there's some inflation going on with comic book numbers, but stops short of saying the industry is NOT in a good place right now. One of the reasons for the short attention span? He says streaming (i.e. Netflix) but... c'mon. We know that's not what's actually going on here.
