Dungeons & Dragons -- as a movie series -- ended with Honor Among Thieves because of the abysmal box office. This is despite fans actually liking the movie once they gave it a chance. But the people behind the movie basically told audiences to stay home because it would "emasculate men." So there's been a sequel penned but it'll never see the light of day.
