It went well in the minor league, so they're adding it to the game. So basically, each team would get two challenges. They could keep them if they're successful to signal challenge the pitcher and the catcher. Or the batter will have to tip his hat to the umpire to know it's no help from the dugout or the players allow. They will go back and see if it's a ball or a strike, which I think they should definitely have been doing anyway. And each extra inning, a team will be awarded the challenge if it has no remaining in the inning. So I want to see what's going on with the situation. I know that they also teased having some possible robots. I don't know how true that is to an extent to help with the game next year, but I think it's dope. Every league has a challenge. AAA did it and it had a 50% success rate. I think that calling balls and strikes in the heat of a moment is pretty hard to do from a human eye. So I'm not mad if they get some things that Are wrong, right? For sure. And it's only a couple challenges. Game's already long as hell. Might as well get it right.
