DJ Wells
Okay.
Podcast Co-host
On what?
Carlos Miller
I like to gamble with people that I know personally. Oh.
DJ Wells
Hand in hand, old school.
Carlos Miller
Okay. Sometimes it ain't about the money, it's just the. That you can talk, you know what I mean?
Podcast Co-host
Okay.
I fuck with that.
So you do, like, basketball, football, what?
Carlos Miller

Podcast Co-host

Y', all. I'm proud.
DJ Wells
We appreciate you, man.
Podcast Co-host
Appreciate it.
DJ Wells
We try to camouflage your neighborhood, man. We ain't trying to say it out too much at all, man. But definitely, man, a legend back in the building, man. One of our inspirations, for sure.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
DJ Wells
Come on, man. Do everything, man. Comedian hit in the garage. Now he actor as well, man. Carlos Miller, Big Dog. We appreciate you family. Yes, sir.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, I'm seeing the jerseys, and y' all got trading cards, seasoning, sauces, Sauces, man. Y' all doing big over here. Look at all them jerseys with the autographs and.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, yeah, man. Love, bro.
DJ Wells
We trying, man. We trying, man. I'll never forget you was talking about how dope they studio was, you know what I'm saying? You slid through as well with Nav, and you just like how dope it is, man. Definitely y' all the inspiration. I honestly don't think y' all get enough credit for how important y' all are to the space and how early y' all were to the space, bro, Because y' all did a lot of stuff that people trying to do now and pretty much an independent route. You see so many people going to situations and stuff now. Y' all did that by ourselves in the light that nobody had and never got interrupted. So salute to y', all, man. That really held it down, bro.
Carlos Miller
Appreciate that. We'll take all that, man.
Podcast Co-host
What got that started, though, man?
Carlos Miller
I actually like to sit and listen to podcasts, but, you know, in the earlier days, it wasn't a whole lot. It was like Tax Stone and what else I used to listen to, like, Combat Jack R PE to the Legend, you know, stuff like that. So I used to. I used to like to drive to a lot of my shows, and after a while, you can only listen to so much music. So, yeah, I started tuning in with the satellite radio, listening like Lord Sear and Rude Jude, and, like, I really wanted to create my own space where I could talk a little, you know, and just break up the monotony of listening to music on the road trip. So I got with some of my partners and some of my friends, and we just started trying to put this together and figure it out, because we didn't really have nobody to really watch and study as far as how you get the infrastructure to do this. So we just start building and building and networking and cross promoting and, you know, just trying to make it happen.
DJ Wells
I mean, not to jump around too much, but, like, how is it looking at the game now compared to when you started? Because it's. It's totally different now. And some opportunities is so crazy now, but y' all part of the reasons that some opportunities are available for people like that.
Carlos Miller
I love the variety.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Like, you keep hearing people say, man, they should stop giving people podcast mics. I really don't agree with that. I love the different opinions. Just hearing black people talk about whatever, you know what I'm saying? Even if it's disagreeable, we still need that. So the people with the right opinions can come behind that and we can kind of get it back and forth because we a lot, like, we real far behind with, like, the communication amongst each other, you know what I'm saying? Like, especially black men and women. We haven't had spaces like that where we could talk about whatever the we wanted to talk about.
DJ Wells
Yeah, that's real.
Podcast Co-host
I think what y' all do is dope, which I got the app. Like, y' all got your own app. Yeah, like that, Fire. Like, we really.
Carlos Miller
We. We needed that, man. Because you know how it is when you're putting your stuff. Other platforms.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
One episode could get 10 million, and the next week you get 1200. So it's just.
DJ Wells
It fluctuates.
Podcast Co-host
That's true.
Carlos Miller
Once we put it somewhere where it's like the numbers and didn't matter, and we got the kind of following where people want to stick around and watch more than one thing. So we just kind of wanted to put it all together so people didn't have to go around the Internet looking for it.
DJ Wells
You know what I'm saying?
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, that's. That's fire.
DJ Wells
And it's up that your people followed you there, so you ain't got to cater to nobody else. I know who here won't. What we doing. Yeah, we ain't got to do too much appeal to nobody else. If you're pulling up, cool. If not, we got our people right here.
Carlos Miller
Absolutely.
Podcast Co-host
For sure. For sure. How you even get into comedy, bro? Like, what started you. What was the motivation for you to get into this space? Not even podcast, just comedy alone.
Carlos Miller
My comedy career started way before my comedy career started. It was school, man. School, my friends, you know, you think. I'm thinking I'm just, you know, being a regular student and shit like that. But when it comes to just. Just like, reading in the class and like that, or getting put out every day, you know, the teacher desk right at the end of the teacher. Oh, you know what I mean? I'm getting thrown out of class two or three times a week, and then, you know, the principal walks away. What you doing out here? I gotta act like I'm doing something else so I can avoid having to go to the office. But that's what it was. And then when I got to college, I was delivering pieces, and so I was all over the city, so people used to call me and invite me to and just like, man, come. Come talk some. And then my homeboy, his dad was like, head of the ROTC program. He used to always throw cookouts. They was from New Orleans. And. And he used to always invite me over there and, like, man, just come talk some. And then, like, I started going, and he would. He bought this little joint with the speaker with the mic on it. And then I started going over there, and he was just having me talking. Then I started doing improv, and that's what really set it off when I got to the improv group and they like, I started. You have to warm up the crowd, like in between games. So that's what really got me started doing stand up.
Podcast Co-host
That's hard.
DJ Wells
Being his favorite people. Rotc.
Uncle Lazer
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
I used to. I used to hate them. Hell no. It was way too serious, bro. I'm like, I used to tell all them. All y' all gonna die as soon as y' all go overseas. Them weak ass outfits and the black shoes. I used to hate them, bro. I used to up all the Thursdays was the wor day in my highest, cuz.
Carlos Miller
They used to wear the.
Podcast Co-host
That green shoes. I hated them.
My man went to the Navy, cuz. Oh.
Oh, God bless you. He says, you made it back home. I used to hate all them.
Damn.
Carlos Miller
I had a few partners who. Who actually went through that. Yeah, my bar.
Podcast Co-host
My brother was in the Navy for 25 years. It just. That was just too serious. Like, you don't even listen to your mama. Y' all in this. They don't listen to nobody. Nobody, bro. Tighten up quick. Ain't worth a quarter outside these hallways, for sure.
DJ Wells
People need that structure for sure, man. Hey, man. Shout out to Baby Bird Automobile. I want to ask you this, man. What was that first car that got you hooked on whips?
Podcast Co-host
Oh, God.
Carlos Miller
He got that 93 Caprice Classic bubble box. Bubble.
DJ Wells
My dog.
Carlos Miller
Hell yeah. That was the one and the box. Chevy. That was the first. First couple joints that I had.
Podcast Co-host
You got your own car shows or anything?
Carlos Miller
Yeah, I got. And we do a few shows here and there, but I'm working on some big, big stuff in the car world too, man.
Podcast Co-host
You gotta tap in with my boy. He buy a car every week, dj.
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Oh, he got them whips.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, I do that every week. You know he ain't uploaded them yet.
Yeah, he got. He got them with.
DJ Wells
I ain't got no wi fi yet.
Podcast Co-host
9, 11 on the way. Oh, yeah.
DJ Wells
Once I get a raise, a couple of them for sure.
Podcast Co-host
Do you break them all down too? Like, you get a car and, like, start from the ground up.
Carlos Miller
Who, like, builds them and he run the shop. I go get him and find him. I come up with the vision, tell him what I want. And he. He executed for me, man. I'll be on the road trying to go get the funds to make it happen.
DJ Wells
What was that one car you got? And it was like, all right, I made it. Or that first car on your dream list you knocked off was like, all right, I'm here now.
Carlos Miller
It's hard to pick one specific.
DJ Wells
Oh, go crazy, brother.
Carlos Miller
It's something with that. With that convertible, man. That just make you feel like I
DJ Wells
don't got no conversation.
Carlos Miller
Like you made it. You gotta have a convertible.
Podcast Co-host
I ain't never had a convertible.
Carlos Miller
You never had a convertible?
Podcast Co-host

Podcast Co-host

Carlos Miller
I don't know. You feel like Batman.
DJ Wells
I can see that.
Carlos Miller
I can see that you jumping out that Ben. And then it kind of give you like. It make you feel like you. You did something with your life. Because it ain't. You ain't on no street shit you jumping out like this. You know, in the black community, the drug dealers, only ones who had some business when we was growing.
Podcast Co-host
That's a fact.
Carlos Miller
When you're doing legit business as a black man and you jumping out the bins and then the top. Already you walking off in the top still putting yourself.
DJ Wells
I gotta get the VIN number ain't scratched off.
Carlos Miller
That's why even the white people looking make you feel like money making. Mitch. When you pull up and you look at your.
Podcast Co-host

Podcast Co-host
I didn't grow up like that. I always had electricity. As an adult for a couple years.
Carlos Miller
I was grown when they was cutting my lice off.
Podcast Co-host
Oh yeah. I mean, my night license ain't never been. Oh yeah, ain't nothing wrong with that.
Carlos Miller
They cut my off and then I made the payment on Friday. Guess what they told me, you gotta wait till Monday. Somebody keep coming out. I told the lady on the phone, like, hit the same get off with.
Podcast Co-host
No, you know, they come out there and get you together.
Carlos Miller
They can cut that off from where they at.
Podcast Co-host
That happened to me when I was NBA, cuz they on top of my roof. No, they was sending my bills to the wrong thing. So I ain't know. And I came home, garage was open.
T-Mobile Representative
What?
Podcast Co-host
The garage won't open. I go to the mailbox. I'm like, man, I called my mom like, hey, the garage won't open, man, they send a bill to your house. And she went out there, she like, yeah, boy, you owe $5,000. She. You ain't paid this thing in a long time.

Carlos Miller
That's why this what you need is that ain't your money anyway.
Podcast Co-host
You gonna be able to change. I hate when black people say I need to. They be calling the light company. Why my bills so high? They ain't about to lower that.

DJ Wells
That was most honest food review I've ever seen.
Podcast Co-host
I ain't gonna lie.
DJ Wells
Don't go buy Arby's.
Podcast Co-host
Arby's definitely got premium beef, though. So that's why premium beef, the quality of it's usda.
Wow.
Oh, yeah. I ain't never called my beef sword or nothing but Swanson, but he did in motion.
DJ Wells
That made it better.
Podcast Co-host
Never did a cheese steak from Mar.
You.
You know I do the exotic menu. That's a little out of pocket, though.
You pressing the issue.
DJ Wells
I was going to say you the one who always talk about Arby's exotic menu. Is that worthy to be on there? Obviously not.
Podcast Co-host
No, no, no, no. And this just the first year of it. You know, everything need trial and error so they get it right. For sure.
Carlos Miller
I heard a lot of people like the brisket, though.
Podcast Co-host
Yes, the brisket. You got to get the cheese on it.
Carlos Miller
I'm not eating it.
Podcast Co-host
You don't like brisket?
Carlos Miller
I don't.
Podcast Co-host
I don't think from Mississippi. Right.
Carlos Miller
I don't think you should be buying brisket from Arby's. I'm not the type of person who
Podcast Co-host
it's real brisket, though.
Carlos Miller
I buy chicken wings from Taco Bell. It's like certain you don' like eating the steak from the Waffle House.
Podcast Co-host
He did that.
I love that car.
DJ Wells
That used to be Fitness Journey.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah. I go rib eye. It may not even be a ribeye, but that's what they say it is. T Bone there it is T bone hash brown with the diced ham in the hash brown. Fry my eggs hard. Three pieces of toast, and I can
Carlos Miller
do a waffle just for the gold blood.
T-Mobile Representative
Al,
Carlos Miller
that is a lot of good Carlos from.
Podcast Co-host
But from Mississippi, man. I know.
Carlos Miller
And I'm. I want better for you.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, I wasn't. What was you eating growing up, love?
Carlos Miller
Oh, kind of.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Every part of the people away from that and. And realize that I was up too.
Podcast Co-host
At what age did you get away from the pork?
Carlos Miller
I mean, I still eat pork sparingly. Not enough that I'm gonna need to go to counseling and. No like that. But I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna not eat a ham sandwich. Ham sandwich are delicious. Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
Did you eat pig feet growing up?
Carlos Miller
Hell, no.
Podcast Co-host
Damn. What about, like, neck. Neck bones?
Carlos Miller
No.
Podcast Co-host
Y' all didn't put pork in your greens?
Carlos Miller
I grew up around a lot of old people. It's a lot of that I never eat again.
DJ Wells
Oh, yeah?
Podcast Co-host
Like what, love?
Carlos Miller
Man, I don't even.
DJ Wells
Liver and onions.
Carlos Miller
I smell it as you.
DJ Wells
That PTSD kick.
Podcast Co-host
What part of Mississippi you from?
Carlos Miller
I'm from Oxford, Mississippi. You ever heard of Ole Miss?
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Uncle Lazer
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
That's where Ole Miss is located.
Podcast Co-host
Okay. Okay. How far is that from Biloxi?
Carlos Miller
Six hours north.
Podcast Co-host
Mississippi.
Carlos Miller
It's closer to Memphis. Memphis, like 40 minutes away.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, that ain't bad.
Okay, okay. You grew up on a country country or was it more of a city?
Both.
I had.
Carlos Miller
I'm a project, but we moved to the country. I started out in the. In the real up part.
Podcast Co-host
Gotcha.
Carlos Miller
Yeah. And then eventually we made our way out to the county.
DJ Wells
What was that transition like in life? You know what I'm saying? Going from no saying for the trenches, and I'm saying, like, oh, we out here with farm animals and brother.
Carlos Miller
Well, it was very different because I'm coming from, like I said, the real projects where you used to just having to walk outside and see a bunch of drunk drinking and smoking, and then now you walking in your backyard and you seeing hogs and chickens and some cows and. No, you wouldn't.
Podcast Co-host
That's how I would, bro.
I couldn't imagine busting them down.
Carlos Miller
That is a lot of work to do that.
Podcast Co-host
I know. I used to. When my people was from Jackson.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
And I. We used to do it as a kid, but I really couldn't. I used to want to stay and do that, bro.
Carlos Miller
Oh, man.
Podcast Co-host
I couldn't imagine, bro.
Living on a farm. Damn near, bro. That fire.
DJ Wells
My family had farm I was nothing in the summer. Boy, I just did my little two weeks to get right back to that. Boy, I was nothing.
Carlos Miller
Nathan, it's a lot of work when you live in the country because you get so much, so much opportunity to do that the average person don't do. Like you said, like, like killing hogs, skinning deer and like that where you actually having to cut your meal off of this neighbors skin right all the way. Like you crying this as it comes off the.
Podcast Co-host
On the grill. Cuz you imagine going straight from the.
I shot my first gun. Mississippi.
Alcohol. Rotate.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, we do all that, but I'm saying you built.
Podcast Co-host
I knew I was gonna.
Carlos Miller
Okay, that was your origin story.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, okay, okay.
DJ Wells
He shot his first gun in Mississippi.
Podcast Co-host
Man, I was 13.
Carlos Miller
What? Where were you at?
Podcast Co-host
I was in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Carlos Miller
Oh, that's way. That's on the coast.
Podcast Co-host
I love Beloved. That's where all the concerts you. I don't know why you were shooting guns. And at 13, what was you going
through in the country?
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
You was with your family?
Yeah, I was with J Mix grandpa.
Okay. You just shooting a gun at 13. You just sound like he was on bull.
Carlos Miller
I had a gun at 13. Yeah, my granddaddy gave it to me.
Podcast Co-host
See what I'm saying?
Carlos Miller
Like that's your gun.
Podcast Co-host
I just came from the bar. This your gun now?
Carlos Miller
No, but we definitely used to be outside though. And we was like you said, most the kids they had had BB guns and we'd be outside shooting squirrels with like 30, 30 or 41030 out six. We had all that.
Podcast Co-host
Okay, okay.
My first gun. I was scared as hell too. That's went fishing and I got bit by like a thousand mosquitoes.
Yeah, that fish. It take too long to fish.
Carlos Miller
My granddaddy had one of them long ass.357 like the Joker.
Podcast Co-host
Oh man, was in the country TV shows back in there. I know exactly what you talking about though.
DJ Wells
Yeah, you got.
Carlos Miller
That's the best part about
Podcast Co-host
what you do.
I say the gun was like at an angle.
Carlos Miller
Boy, this got a hook in it.
Podcast Co-host
He got a hook in it.
Carlos Miller
Big long country. I just got it.
Podcast Co-host
I want to talk about how you ended up. Oh, w it out, man, they didn't.
Carlos Miller
I didn't just end up.
Podcast Co-host
I did some to get on. No, I'm saying how that phone call. Who calls you? How does that work? Cause I was like, damn, I be watching this. It seemed like it's just off the
Carlos Miller
top, but at this point I don't know what the Process is they just be throwing.
Podcast Co-host
Okay, okay, okay.
Carlos Miller
I actually had to go to the audition. And I was at the house one day, and I heard that they were having the audition, but I couldn't confirm it because nobody actually knew if it was happening or not. So I just went up there. It just so happened they were having it, but it was like a closed audition, so they wouldn't let nobody else else, like, sign up or get a spot. So I just stayed there and I just roasted all them all day. And then somebody didn't show up. And I took their spot and got the call back. But I didn't believe that it was who they said it because Nick called me and told me to come back for the other joint. I was like, all right, bro, whatever. Because I ain't. I hadn't talked to him on the phone, so I didn't recognize his voice, so I didn't think it was him. And then when I got there, the rap, it was me and Chico. We had our audition together. We went in there, and if we didn't know none of them people, and I just pulled them to the side. I was like, oh, look, I don't know what these about to do, but me and you, yeah, we gotta get on tv. And that's. And we've been rocking ever since.
Podcast Co-host
That's hard.
Yeah. That was my first glimpse of y' all on there, and then y' all doing y' all battle. And that was dope, bro. That being my favorite part of the show.
DJ Wells
Yeah, that being the origin to, like, the beginning of y' all dynasty is fire. Like, that's crazy.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, we definitely was in there because there was a lot of guys who were, like. Like, more known than us, especially, like, on social media and stuff like that. They had bigger followings. But I. I was like, man, we gotta get this. If they got two spots, they got. It's us. It gotta be us, man. Cause we the ones with the most to lose. We gotta do this.
DJ Wells
Hell, yeah.
Carlos Miller
We took it to a whole nother level, man. Just went on there. And then with the battle that, like, the old school, we just was talking before, like, the break came back, and I like, you bet. You won't, like, jump it off. I was like, kicked it off. And then it just became one of those things that people look forward to, man. That probably did 100 million views.
Podcast Co-host
That crazy.
100%, bro. Yeah, that shit's all improv.
Carlos Miller
Yeah. Because it's like, if you think about it, we shoot two to three episodes of this show a day. And then these episodes are back to back. Sometimes it's just a quick grab something to eat and come right back type. So it's like, even if you wanted to prepare this, how could you.
DJ Wells
That makes sense.
Carlos Miller
And because everything is moving so fast, and then you got cameras, and there's a lot of that goes into the show that they don't show. Like, yeah. People saying, is it improv? Hell, yeah. Cause you ought to see how mad get when we run out of time and they don't get to go. I think the live show is a whole lot better than the version that they put on tv. Because you got to keep in mind, we shoot these out, these episodes, like an hour and a half, two hours. And then they got to condense this to 25 minutes. Yeah. With. That's with the commercial.
DJ Wells
With commercials.
Carlos Miller
So that's why they play so many of them, because a lot of that get cut out. But there's a lot of great that never makes it to the app.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, it's wonderful.
Carlos Miller
I can see you on Wild and now.
Podcast Co-host
I will always do that. I always want to do.
Carlos Miller
Y' all should. Y.
Podcast Co-host
Who's the. Who's the. That be the referee. I would want to do that part. I want to do that part. Or I go against somebody. I love that part of the show.
DJ Wells
You know, my go. I want to be DJ D. He got the best job in the world.
Podcast Co-host
Y' all think I can't set this up?
Carlos Miller
I still got some Jews.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, no. If you can order. When they do the game where the girl got to speak, spit it spit out her mouth.
Uncle Lazer
Excuse me.
DJ Wells
Is that the part?
Carlos Miller
Talk is fit.
Podcast Co-host
Talking Spit.
Is that okay?
Carlos Miller
Look, you will go out there, you will want to see if you can make a spit.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Uncle Lazer
No.
Carlos Miller
What would you. Would you do something or would you say something?
Podcast Co-host
They probably. Probably both lost, you know, I mean, I'm an improv myself.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, man.
Podcast Co-host
I probably.
Uncle Lazer
I.
Podcast Co-host
Look, see you all w. Now you
can set that up, bro. That'll be beautiful. I. I do everything. I just. Those are my two favorite parts where you got to try to make a laugh. Spit is crazy.
But, like, yeah, I. I can't do the rap.
Carlos Miller
I can definitely see y' all being a team captain on there.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Let me come out with the signs. Don't forget about Barbie for sure episode.
Podcast Co-host
I will.
It be some pressure on that, too. That lineup is pretty. All right.
Carlos Miller
I'm pressure, too.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
They be having some one.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
DJ Wells
The real audition.
Carlos Miller
He gotta ask for some talent.
Podcast Co-host
You gotta respect it. For sure.
He got supreme beans on there.
Carlos Miller
Don't do me. Don't let me get a fresh retwist.
Podcast Co-host
Okay, my fault.
I was like, damn. I wonder if people be getting mad when they can't get their off. Like when you actually watch the show and you be like, man, I said some cool ass. Why that it'd be like that?
Carlos Miller
Absolutely.
DJ Wells
I'd be mad if I said so far to get edited out. Like, damn, that day.
Podcast Co-host
They roast brother, bro. They roast Nick brothers shoes. I laughed for that shit for like three weeks.
Carlos Miller
Do you understand? The, like, every shoe that he wore after that just looked big as hell. Even if it wasn't, Nick tried to make every excuse for him and his brother's shoes. And then we started noticing his shoes was big as hell too. They like y'. All, we got small ankles. Who the hell says that? That genetics got ankles like wrist.
Podcast Co-host
I know how much you D.C. and Chico play. I said, I know it's some people up there really mad at these. They can't show it, but they be.
Carlos Miller
It was one. This is my favorite one out of all of Cisco came on there.
DJ Wells
The legend.
Carlos Miller
Cisco the legend. We I did not know shout out to Cisco. He one of the coolest. But D.C. had really just roasted him to the point where he couldn't take this. This is what he did, though. You know, like, you remember in the mall, they used to have those fake air force ones that light up, right? He had some he wanted to do with like the black lights. So when him and the dancers do the dance, the shit gonna look hard. It's gonna look hard. Cause on some dance and shit, like on some live performances, but he up and he warmed through the whole episode. So every time he walked out, his shoes was lighting up and he kept hitting him.
Podcast Co-host
He kept hitting. I remember that episode.
Carlos Miller
Francisco got so mad, he just snatched the mic from somebody. He was like, y' all might not like my shoes, but at least I
Podcast Co-host
can say
Carlos Miller
I was throwing. San Francisco is hilarious, man.
Podcast Co-host
I seen when DC got on Old Girl too. He had her. Oh, he had her talk.
DJ Wells
Oh, yeah, that was.
Carlos Miller
He started that.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, yeah.
For real.
Carlos Miller
She had been taking shots at him all day, like off camera and everything. It's like she had an agenda.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, yeah, you know, he ignorant.
Carlos Miller
Why would you with him?
Podcast Co-host
That's crazy. I always wonder because I just used to see clips. I never watched the episode.
Carlos Miller
Watch the episode. She started that.
Podcast Co-host
He went crazy.
Carlos Miller
She got her feelings hurt. Cuz he. What he said at first, she said something slick to Him. And I don't think they aired that part. But then he came back and he was like, we supposed to get Cardi B, but they couldn't get us. So they got Azalea, Ugly ass that did it. That was the one. And she was just like, yeah. Cause that was true. Cardi B was supposed to come and she was like a fill in guest type shit. So I guess the truth hurts, man.
DJ Wells
That's a legendary show. Played in every hotel on repeat.
Podcast Co-host
Yes.
DJ Wells
Everywhere you go. That's the best. It's like a comfort show for. For everybody.
Carlos Miller
They got this one channel that just played Wilding Out All Day and I really. It's like Fuse tv. Fuse and Wilding Out All Day.
DJ Wells
Legendary show.
Podcast Co-host
Who's somebody that surprised you that you didn't think was. Was funny?
Carlos Miller
Like a celebrity that I didn't think was funny. Yeah. Let me see. Tasha K. Wendy Williams.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, okay.
Carlos Miller
Wendy Williams came on there and was funny as hell.
Podcast Co-host
Hell.
Damn.
Carlos Miller
Old girl from Mob Wives too. D. Okay.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, I know who that is.
DJ Wells
Real gangster.
Carlos Miller
Some of my favorite guests. They done had a lot of people on there.
Podcast Co-host
Okay, okay.
DJ Wells
Now for sure, before we kick Barbie out of here, tap into his 520 somewhere, man. She had a legend on her show as well. How you feel about that episode on the couch?
Carlos Miller
Make sure y' all tap in each and every Wednesday. We are on YouTube, but this episode was fire.
T-Mobile Representative
I can't wait for y' all to see it.
Podcast Co-host
For sure. Appreciate you.
DJ Wells
520 somewhere. Tap in. In.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, man.
DJ Wells
Good times. Hey, man, as we said in the intro, actor now, man. New movie out, man. How you feeling about that, brother?
Carlos Miller
Haunted Heist.
DJ Wells
Yes. Haunted Heist is out now. Yes, sir. Tap in. If you're familiar. What was it like shooting a movie, bro?
Carlos Miller
It was dope, man. Me, Lil Rail, Tiffany had his king batch. My boy Tony Baker was in there. Joe Blunt, a comedian out of Detroit. My boy Martini Harris out of Detroit. It was dope, man. Real has really been doing a lot in the movie space.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Ever since Get Out. He probably done 40, 50 movies since then. So he really got some really dope insight. And he called me to be a part of like his directorial debut. And I was like, anything. Anything you need from me. So we put it together. This was the. This was the route they wanted to go. When he got the funding, flew out to Detroit. We shot that at Barry Gordy's old crib.
Podcast Co-host
Damn.
Carlos Miller
His old mansion. And he got so much dope in there. Just like that. Should probably be in a Museum like all kind of like old Motown lyrics and pictures of you've never seen before. Like when they were sending telegrams back and forth, you know, asking to send more money to the road and pictures of all kind of Motown history, man. So it was real dope. Detroit showed us a lot of love and I was glad that it was really like a theater movie and not just, you know, one of the streaming joints. Not saying nothing wrong with that, but it's a different validation when people can go see it.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
So shout out to everybody involved. Tiffany Haddish, she was real dope to work with. Every day we get to set, she got some kind of antics going on. Like one day we pull up, she's making everybody drink green juice. So like you said, she throwing all the pork away. Yeah, she's making everybody do yoga. And so I had a ball, man, and it was just dope to see real going to the director space, you know, I mean when your people call you your friends and. And you get to see them do some and they include you, it's just. Yeah, another level, man. So y' all go support that.
Podcast Co-host
How long it takes to shoot that?
Carlos Miller
We shot it in 18 days.
Podcast Co-host
Damn. Yeah, that shot short.
Carlos Miller
18 long ass days though.
Podcast Co-host
I would say that's pretty okay actually.
DJ Wells
That's like a long time to be working non stop. 12, 15 hour days.
Carlos Miller
Absolutely, absolutely. But we had to make the most of it though.
DJ Wells
Absolutely.
Carlos Miller
Independent film. So we had a budget to really around. Come on, we gotta go, we gotta go.
DJ Wells
I got 18 rolls of film.
Carlos Miller
We go absolutely. Daylight.
Podcast Co-host
Damn. That's.
Carlos Miller
You know, you start seeing me in a lot more and it's. I really enjoyed my role because I got to do more to. And just tell jokes and be funny. I hit him with some drama and. And some tears.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, thought prov.
Carlos Miller
Yeah, go see you crying. I have to put it. I had to do everything in that motherfucker. They should have put me in there
Podcast Co-host
this long.
Carlos Miller
Now I'm do all my. At all, man. So if anybody watching this who make movies and you got a budget. I'm a movie star moonlighting as a comedian. So approach me different.
Podcast Co-host
What's the budget, man?
Carlos Miller
What's the budget? Yeah, what's the budget for the. At least.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Oh, you got at least be 2 million.
Podcast Co-host
Okay, we rolling with that.
DJ Wells
Yeah, come on, man. We talking about new conversion.
Carlos Miller
You can make a dope ass movie for $2 million though.
Podcast Co-host
Okay.
Carlos Miller
Special effects and all that. That's what I want to do next. Some action.
Podcast Co-host
You want to Make a movie or you want to be in it? Action movie.
Carlos Miller
And I want to play the bad dude.
DJ Wells
All right, so your action movie, who you catch casting? You got you the villain.
Carlos Miller
I'm the villain. Let me see. Jason Statham.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Podcast Co-host
All right.
Carlos Miller
Because I want that. I want that one scene where you have to be on the phone and me and him can exchange. Where are you? Yeah, don't worry where I am. You think your little girlfriend is sick like some like that. I'm coming with accent. What they talking about? I want an accent and like a scar somewhere. Like a real low down man. I want to be a escape in a helicopter and don't catch me in the first one. So we could do a sequel.
Podcast Co-host
For sure. Run it up.
Yeah, for sure.
Carlos Miller
No, put all the action heroes in there, man. Sylvester Stallone put me in.
Podcast Co-host
What's the they had with all of them expendable expendables.
Carlos Miller
I want to be one of them, but I want to be the low down selling crystal mill in America. You gonna need a Fenal or something.
Podcast Co-host
You gonna need more than two Breaking Bad.
Carlos Miller
At least two in the game.
Podcast Co-host
It's the load that he out the game.
30 million these days.
DJ Wells
Respect to the OG I think we can figure that budget out for sure.
Carlos Miller
Everything.
Podcast Co-host
DJ always try to lower it. Oh, yeah, for sure.
DJ Wells
He does.
Podcast Co-host
Rocky. Sebastian long.
DJ Wells
It's young Rocky, though.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, it ain't him.
Carlos Miller
It's another one.
DJ Wells
Yeah, it's his producer. That's how he became Rocky. Yeah, that producer back. I respect it.
Podcast Co-host
Hey, man, that'll be dope doing that, man.
Carlos Miller
I'm definitely getting in the movie.
Podcast Co-host
Is that the hardest thing that you do, Condo?
Carlos Miller
The hardest? Yeah. I think stand up. Kind of the hardest that I've done is think of how long you have to tell jokes before anybody even gives a facts.
DJ Wells
That's real.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
DJ Wells
Do you like when people heckle in the crowd?
Carlos Miller
I don't like it, but it doesn't bother me.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Carlos Miller
Because I don't get the type of hecklers who'll be like, man, you people who want to say some or be a part of the show or some like that. I haven't had too many bad experiences, but I. I mean, in the earlier days, it was up.
Podcast Co-host
The way y' all freestyle on stage is crazy. Like, I know we have a show and we just be rambling, but y' all doing it in front of live audience and y' all just. I was watching a clip the other day. Dude came to the show with some gloves on.
Carlos Miller
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
And y' all just started going, bro, that was so funny, bro. Bro.
DJ Wells
They'll go from torturing somebody to singing a song about the person, freestyle, and then go back to the person and then find somebody else. Somebody, bro. That's talent that you can't even follow.
Podcast Co-host
And the chemistry, that's the most important.
Yeah, that rock and roll song, I was like, they D is crazy, bro.
No, for sure.
Carlos Miller
That's the best part about it, man. I think wilding out really was the springboard for all of that, because every day we had to come and, like, be creative in a different way because, you know, you kind of center the episodes around the guest.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
So you got that one episode we got to dress up like wrestlers. One episode we did rock music, and then one episode we might make a love song or. You know what I mean? Just playing to the different audiences. So that's what really, like, helped us hone the skills to be on stage. And that's what built the chemistry, too. And plus, you got somebody who's super talented, like. Like dc. This dude can sing.
Podcast Co-host
Hell yes.
Carlos Miller
Do back flips, play instruments. And he wanted them. Them hood kids who, like, if he do it a couple times, he'll around and figure out how to get good at it. And then Chico, the same way, he got an incredible improvs, you know what I mean? And he like, oh, yeah. He's into so many different things, so it's like a variety that he brings to the table. And then me, I'm just like the facilitator I with everything. Yeah. I'm like, how can we put all this together so we all know our roles and we play the hell out of them.
Podcast Co-host
Hell, yeah.
DJ Wells
And it shows for sure, man. Been killing it for a very long time period. What's the dream, guest? You want to have my 85 South?
Carlos Miller
My dream guess. Let me see.
DJ Wells
Or somebody who ain't pulled up yet. You want them to slide somebody who
Carlos Miller
ain't pulled up yet.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, and I got something to ask about that, too.
Carlos Miller
I gotta get. I gotta get Kevin Gates on there. That's my dog Gates on there. I got. I would love to do a podcast with Barack Obama, but I want to be able to smoke weed with him.
Podcast Co-host

DJ Wells
I was just saying, you know Barry, I don't with the Newport so they ain't too far fetched.
Podcast Co-host
He get hot too though, so it makes sense for sure.
Carlos Miller
I think I would love to do one with Oprah, too, just to be on that flirting with and see how she respond to it.
Podcast Co-host
I mean, I ain't.
Carlos Miller
I saw you look like she ain't with you.
Podcast Co-host
No, no, I want to look. I said Oprah kind of crazy. You said flirting. That kind of made me look at you. I want to flirt Oprah just so
Carlos Miller
it'll be on camera. So it didn't see how she responds.
Podcast Co-host
That's what I'm saying. I would talk to her because I seen the AI picture of her boy looking crazy. They put Ari about it. You told me.
Yeah, they put Ari body on Oprah
looking thing on that.
DJ Wells
Remember they did the Judge Judy. Everybody thought judge was strapped for no reason.

Podcast Co-host
See what I'm saying?
He said the game.
You saw us. We sitting there like, any minute, and
Carlos Miller
they like, oh, he gone.
Podcast Co-host
The.
Carlos Miller
The crazy part about this is as big as Rick Rose is nobody saw him leave. We literally saw the get up and walk towards the bathroom. The bathroom is this way. The door is this way. That mean he had to walk back in front of us and we missed all.
Podcast Co-host
I'm asking that building, bro. I've been there. I'm like, ain't no way in. They missed this leaving.
Carlos Miller
We did.
DJ Wells
And that coat, too. He had a colorful jacket on.
Carlos Miller
I don't know what happened, man. You saw. He just recently tried to pop some and. Yeah, on the album and get in D.C. oh, Lord.
Podcast Co-host
Well, it might be something else then. Like this on the. One of the best shows in the world, bro. Why would you just.
Carlos Miller
He tried to look homie or something. Yeah, I don't think he respect.
Podcast Co-host
Respect that I with y', all, though, because y' all kept that player, though. That's why I respect y even more, cuz. Y a. Yeah, y' all could have turned up and you Know what I mean? Rightfully so. But y'.
Carlos Miller
All.
Podcast Co-host
Y' all moved on to the next thing.
Carlos Miller
We ain't. We ain't them type of people, bro. We would never invite nobody on our show to try to ask them some up. Look up. We like people that show us love. So when people come through, we going to try to make the best environment. We had about 200 chicken wings, 7, 8, 9, 10 bottles of bell. We had the look cookies and everything. You didn't even know he had cookies and did you?
Podcast Co-host
No.
Carlos Miller
D. Terrible, but n. But real.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah. Cause y' all show like, I ain't been on y' all show, but I'm just saying how broken play nabbing them like, yeah, y' all show hella love, bro. So I was just. I don't know. I was just confused.
Carlos Miller
I hate when, like, that happened because now you can't even enjoy that type of no more. You know how many Rick Ross songs I used to with now that don't even hit the side off Gonna walk out on us. Talk about DC can't cross the gun line. I don't know what. I don't know what the. We went wrong with this.
DJ Wells
Oh, man, that sound like us a masterpiece, man. Man, that's Master P, man.
Carlos Miller
Master P walked out.
DJ Wells
N. He ain't walk out, boy.
Carlos Miller
He chumped y' all off.
DJ Wells
Whatever happened, man, we did a live show in New York. He said, hey, man, I ain't talking about no music. Damn.
Podcast Co-host
Remember that? The worst. The worst part about it was the circumstances were different. But it. It's not funny, but I can laugh about it now. This is the biggest hater in the world.
Carlos Miller
Dang.
Podcast Co-host
So this my.
Carlos Miller
I love the second bigger, cuz. I know a no, this here. Here.
Podcast Co-host
No, this here. And I'm not saying, like, hating like he be hating on somebody down. It's just him like, I love this example. This was singing P. So he like doing the. Singing the song P Looking at this like, lame ass if you don't talk about my education and like that. He like, nah, P. This is the. This was so mad, bro. I had to hold my composure because I know him like the back of my head, bro. He did not get give a, bro. He like, n. This is my sister. We used to sing this in the house all the time. Just trying to honor him on some cool, bro. Shut my down.
ChatGPT/Moto Casino Announcer

Podcast Co-host
All right, well, let's talk about his
basketball that was ready to catch a fly.

DJ Wells
We get to go to New York,
Podcast Co-host

DJ Wells
My team made a set list for the live show. We had never had that happen before.
Carlos Miller
Damn.
Podcast Co-host
He was my favorite artist, so, yeah, he was.
Carlos Miller
Who is now?
Podcast Co-host
I mean, Jay Z was number one, but he was like a strong. After Wayne.
Carlos Miller
Who'd you replace him with now?
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, man, anybody.
DJ Wells
It's an open spot.
Carlos Miller
On the truth. Sometimes. Sometimes you shouldn't meet the people that.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah, I hate.
I met him, and I never believed. Believe that until that I said, damn. That's kind of. If he was cool. We was backstage talking, he was cool. He was cool than a. But one of them lights got on, and we had to wait, you know? I mean, some was happening, but technical difficulties.
Carlos Miller
I'll tell y' all off camera. The I wish I would have never met. Yeah, yeah, we don't want to do this here. Was doing the absolute most. I was like, should have never met this.
Podcast Co-host
Oh, God.
DJ Wells
Disappointment, man. Get well soon. Hey, man, obviously, you know, you au dad. We always talk about the parents involved in sports, man. What's that like for you, man? Man, obviously being notable, Going to your son's games and supporting like that, they bother you in the crowd. You just get to be a parent from afar.
Carlos Miller
Nah, I don't let that bother me because it ain't about me. I'm like, hey, watch the game. You watch my son?
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
I'm his biggest cheerleader, man. I'll be out there like t mor. I'm not talking big. Don't let him do some exciting, bro.
Podcast Co-host
Yeah.
Carlos Miller
Cause like, my son, he dunked a lot.
Podcast Co-host

Carlos Miller
So anytime he dunk, I do some. I might go back, buy five hot dogs and give them away or something. You know what I'm saying? I'm.

What you know about d Like, hey, listen to me. Hey, land on both feet. So I'll be trying to come with some that I know he ain't just gonna hear from the regular spot, but I'll be out there, and I'll be. You know, I'll be Giving them the game and.

Now that's hard. When you. When did you realize, like, damn, this little. Actually kind of nice.
Carlos Miller
He always been into sports.
Podcast Co-host
Like, yeah.
Carlos Miller
Athletically gifted. And so it was one time when he was playing football and he was way bigger than all the rest of the kids. He might have been probably 6ft tall. 6112 or 13 or something like that. I seen they. He was playing wide receiver either, and they threw the ball and he had like five dudes on him, and he just. I thought it was gonna be football, but once I saw him on the basketball court, it was completely different. He'd been playing basketball since he was 6 75, you know, 5, 6, 7 years old.
Podcast Co-host
Okay.
Carlos Miller
So it's always one of the bigger kids. So once I saw that he was really like, studying that, and he had a better form than everybody, and he had a better understanding. That was like.
Podcast Co-host
That's when I started.
Carlos Miller
Start trying to grow his talent.
Podcast Co-host
No, that's hard.

Carlos Miller
Yeah, man, I've been really. It's been really dope just to watch him, though. Yeah. Because you know how it is. Like, you know, basketball ain't no easy and Then I'm seeing him catch the lives with the left hand and, you know, just working on. I'm like, man, I don't know where you even get all this.
Podcast Co-host
Ain't nobody. You had nobody in your family that was athletic? That's like, damn. They probably. I mean, yeah, I got a.

Podcast Co-host
Oh, damn. Oh, he's super.
Carlos Miller
Oh, and yeah, he was. He was really one of them. He got. Had like a 47 inch vertical. Yeah, yeah.
Podcast Co-host
What's his name?
Carlos Miller
He went to the Olympics and I think he had jumped like 7ft or some like that. What happened? He. He literally tied for gold and they did a jump off, and him and the guy, they. They both scratched, but they got it. So he just. He took the silver medal. As opposed to just splitting the goat.
T-Mobile Representative
Yeah, yeah.
Carlos Miller
Check him out.
DJ Wells
Out and put.
Carlos Miller
Tell your people, Shelby McEwen.
DJ Wells

Carlos Miller
My mama used to say that to me growing up when I was. We used to go in the store and she like, just quit touching all the damn time. I was very destructive as a child growing up.
DJ Wells
See that?
Carlos Miller
So she used to always tell me to leave alone on, and that's something that always stuck with me. There you go, right there, Shelby.
Podcast Co-host
Respect. That's hard.
DJ Wells
I think it's hilarious that you said they're grown people like you said to adults and stuff, and that's hilarious. Hey, quit touching.
Carlos Miller
You know what made that stick with me, though? When I was up and didn't have no bread, I used to go in places and I'll be looking, man, like, hey, don't with nothing. You ain't got to worry about having. Yeah.
Podcast Co-host
You ain't got to pay for it for sure.
Carlos Miller
Quit touching. Leave alone.
Podcast Co-host

If you go to Ole Miss, you gonna save your bread.
Carlos Miller

Podcast Co-host
