Omarion
Perfect, too. Let's get it.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Listen, man, fresh off the road, man. First and first. How you feeling, man? How was the tour, bro?
Omarion
Man, I'm feeling amazing. You know, the first tour we ever went on as a group was the Scream tour, and that was with Bow Wow. So this. We haven't all been on tour together, you know what I'm saying? So this was, like, very reminiscent of, you know, us coming through the ages now being, you know, like, looking at veteran status and, you know, I did something that I usually don't do, which is like, go out every other night and tap in with everybody, you know what I'm saying? And, you know, I was just thinking to myself, like, wow, you know, in 10 years, you know, we'd be the big five zero, you know what I'm saying? And life is going to look completely different. So let me make sure that I interface with everybody that's here at this particular time right now. So it was dope, man. We went out some nights with Pretty Ricky. We went out. You know what I mean? We went out with Bow, you know what I mean? We actually had this. Yeah, so we actually had this. We had like a little. The cafeteria room. We would turn into our little club, you know. Okay, so it was Club B4L, you know what I mean? After the show, everybody go Club B, for real. And to say the least, it was always vibration. Yes, indeed.
Co-host or Interviewer
You had the old things back in the day. Did you see anything that you touched 20 years ago?
Omarion
Hey, I'm gonna keep it real with you. I'm gonna keep it real with you. Yeah, they all pulled up and guess what? They still find shit. They still find shit. So shout out to you did. Yeah, they still find. I'm like, oh, my era looking good. So.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, I always thought about. I'm like, damn, I ain't been on the road. See something from 20 years ago. She feels something.
Omarion
Come on.
Co-host or Interviewer
I need that.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Come on.
Omarion
Still got them eyes for you. They're in the crowd singing the songs for you, you know what I'm saying?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, reminiscent right now.
Co-host or Interviewer
What was that age gap in there, though? Was it. Did you have a mix between the younger and ye?
Omarion
Okay, yeah, it was. Because a lot of, you know, the women that, you know, grew up on us, they brought their daughters, you know what I'm saying? So their daughters is like teenagers. So they're having the experience of like, what it means to really entertain, you know what I mean? Because. And no disrespect to any other eras, you know what I'm saying? But my era in particular, we was the king performers, you know what I'm saying? So when we come out, it's to tell a story through dance, it's to tell a story through the light. So it's not just, oh, we coming to sing along with you, and you got a nice set in the background. No, you remember this move right here, Boom and dump. And then here go, uh huh. And then we like, ah, ah. It's like. It's a real thing. Yeah, it's a thing with us. We like, oh, you smell a thing.
Co-host or Interviewer
So old.
Omarion
Straight up. When it comes to performance, talk that shit. When it comes to I ain't going live.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
My mama right now talking about New Edition and shout out to my OGs. But I saw Bobby Brown Respect. No, my nigga did take a break. Let me say that this is like the Popeyes Lady
Co-host or Interviewer
Bobby, bro.
Omarion
No, for sure, Bob. He won no one. But I would say, like, you know, just as far as, like, performance, you know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
When it came, we got the best era, we.
Omarion
We was like, you know, definitely. I mean, who. Who else is outside of a group that was like, really performing and dancing and had, you know, movie and had different things in that in the background?
Co-host or Interviewer
I just.
Omarion
You know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
I had the restaurant. Anytime I get the match with Bobby Brown, I do. So.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
What's the man one doing there?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
No
Co-host or Interviewer
respect.
Omarion
Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Why they went in the move. Speaking of move, while we here, man, I gotta ask you again, brother. Why y' all slide for little sl. Man, why ain't y' all a little slate, bro?
Omarion
That's a Rico question, man.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That was his, man.
Omarion
I'm just saying, he knew where he was at. Now, if you said, you know, Elgin, then I would understand, you know what I'm saying? Because, you know, well, we know he
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
ain't pulled for Elgin.
Omarion
Okay. You know what happened. Yeah, his sister.
Co-host or Interviewer
How was that shooting that movie, though, man? Was that your first gig in a
Omarion
movie role or in a real big commercial release? Yes.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah.
Omarion
And, man, it was actually, like, pretty nerve wracking, you know what I'm saying? Because the studio knew that we didn't have a lot of experience. Even though I had a. I had some experience because the first thing I booked was a commercial, you know, corn pops commercial. So I was already acting. I was already in, you know, in drama class. Like, that was my thing, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, as an actor, when you have to make certain choices for the character and you kind of like, at the studio telling you how to do it, it's just like. It's kind of, you know, annoying.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah.
Omarion
You know what I mean? And then, yeah, it's just challenging. It could be challenging, you know what I mean? But all in all, I'm so happy and appreciative that, you know, I was able to be a part of something so, you know, culture, you know what I'm saying? And then it's like. It's a thread, you know, from the previous dance eras, you know, like beach street and, you know, all of these other dance movies that are really big dance movies that really, truly bringing together people, you know what I mean? On a grand scale. That's what dance is. That's why we love dance. That's why I love dance.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah. Even with the battles in that movie, you know what I'm saying? Y' all was really getting. Y' all shit off. But, like, y' all had so many different people. Who was really respected in the dance world that y' all really got to get down with in that time period.
Omarion
Exactly.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Steve Harvey being the host is still hilarious.
Omarion
Yeah. Shout out to Steve Harvey. Steve Harvey.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Funniest shit. Did y' all know the hairline was fake then? Was that afterwards? Yeah, that was fire.
Co-host or Interviewer
That's a good question, though, dj, because
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
we didn't know for a long time here. We was all confused.
Co-host or Interviewer
Look, like, tell the truth.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, it's like a micro. Tell the truth.
Omarion
Honestly. Honestly, Steve Harvey, every time he seen us, he looked out for us. There we go. He bought us all suits. He bought.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Damn. Them big ones.
Omarion
Yeah, I'm telling you, the big ones. No, he was like, listen, y' all go down there in my tailor, I'm gonna kick. I got y' all take care of y'. All. And honestly, that was like, you know, back then. That's like some OG shit. Regardless of how you feel, you know, about him or whatever, or whether or
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
not he bought me a suit, though, I ain't going.
Omarion
Oh, he did? Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
From Hadiyaki Shout out to my boy.
Co-host or Interviewer
Really?
Omarion
That's what I'm saying.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
My shit was tailored, though. It wasn't.
Omarion
Yeah, no, we was saying it wasn't. It was that other suit now, at
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
the time period, it was like, oh, three or four. You got that? What? My shit was like 2015. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Omarion
So his suit.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Hell no. Hell no.
Co-host or Interviewer
That was more fitted to the body.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Good night. The Taylor. What he just now. Shout out to alleged sleep. Magical movie. Always the hoop scenes, man. I know you. You get genuine. But y' all hooping on that set is hilarious, bro, because y' all was dancing between the moves, and I was like this. Damn. And one
Omarion
people was getting crossed in real life, though. Don't get it twisted.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Talk about it. That's who Bron said,
Omarion
like, as far as the group goes, I would probably give it to Fizz.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Okay.
Omarion
Yeah, Fizz. Fizz could hoop. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Then I would give it to myself. Second. You know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
Okay.
Omarion
Yeah. Cause the first step. Oh, I'm out of there. Sweet. Sweet.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, yeah. She started laughing. Oh, what? The first step, like that.
Co-host or Interviewer
Point guard.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, okay.
Omarion
That's what I'm saying. I know how to move and maneuver the ball. Like, I'm like that. I know how to pass. I know how to set up shots. I'm a dancer.
Co-host or Interviewer
Like, do you rank high in the R And B world so far as basketball.
Omarion
No, because. No, because they take it too serious, you know what I'm saying? Like, all of them, they think they Hoopers, like, they really had a chance, you know what I'm saying? But.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Well, I blame the game legend.
Omarion
But it is something that's like that kahoot, though. Don't twist it. It's some R and B things.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Valentine take it serious.
Omarion
That's what I'm saying. But he could really hoop, though.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Okay.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, Drake can go Tank. Tank is a bruiser, but he can look.
Omarion
That's true. Yeah, yeah. He gonna bump into you, young man. Damn. Oh, sorry, sir.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That's what they always say. Chris Brown obviously is the gohu of the rb.
Omarion
Of course. That's what I'm saying. He take that shit seriously. He be out there with the. What's the basketball dude that be with everybody.
Co-host or Interviewer
Lethal shooter.
Omarion
Yeah, he be lethal shooting.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Womp womp, wom.
Omarion
He's serious about that.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, I'm taking that with Wong. That's right there with the Mukhaya. We got to get that on there for sure.
Omarion
Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. You see, I got sounds.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
So, you know, now I'm dead serious. See, I'm like, man, fire.
Omarion
I'm like, man, you get your sound. You like, oh, y' all have an ad.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Libs.
Co-host or Interviewer
Okay.
Omarion
That's what I'm saying. Conventionalisms. Yeah, I love it.
Co-host or Interviewer
I wanted to ask, how did B2K start? Who got that group? Who brought y' all together?
Omarion
So as the score, as the story goes, you know what I mean, they were already a group before they were called Melodic. It was five members. And at the time, what would be considered like a family member, you know, an auntie. Your auntie. My auntie was with the manager of the group. So I was invited to this New Year's party. And there used to be this house in Studio City, and everybody would be over there, you know what I'm saying? Black Destiny Child. We performed for Destiny Child early on. Like this crib was. It was off of Koufax, okay? That's where the New Year's party was. And when I went to the New Year's party, of course, you know, it was groups and girls and it was a vibe, you know what I'm saying? Like, hold up, what's lit? So the Boog Raz and Fizz, you know, they start performing, they start doing a routine, you know what I mean? I was like, oh, this shit hard. You know what I mean? And then I had to hit him with the backflip, you know what I'm saying? They was like, wait a minute. Sure.
Co-host or Interviewer
Now.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Talking about, I don't want to stop the story. So they moved forward. Hey, you mean a fucking backflip?
Omarion
I was like, oh. They was like, all right, you know.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, I thought you slipped in while they were performing.
Omarion
Like, oh, no, no, no. I let them get that, you know, get their performance off, but, you know what I mean? I was like, okay. And then I started performing, and I, you know, I hit it with the backup, and they were like, yo, like, what's up? You want to be in the group? You want to be. You know what I mean? I ended up being the lead singer of the group. And then from that point on, we just. We developed. You know what I'm saying? We took the. The necessary time to really perfect our skills. Rest in peace. To our choreographer, Dave Scott, you know, who actually is the choreographer to you guys, served as well, you know what I'm saying? But he is who helped us really, like, hone our skills and get, you know, prepared for the majors, which ended up being, you know, Sony epic, you know?
Co-host or Interviewer
Cause I didn't even know you used to dance for my girls before dark.
Omarion
Oh, yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
I was like, enrique, straight up.
Omarion
Yeah, yeah, Enrique, Yeah, Enrique.
Co-host or Interviewer
Today they don't know.
Omarion
Come on with Dor. Yeah, yeah, bro. Yeah, my g. Yeah. Straight up.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, girls and everything.
Omarion
Straight up. She like that. She like that. She's a great performer.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yes.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Respect. In my mind, even though you just tell us a story how it happened, I just feel like you walked up as you was performing, did the backflip. Like David Ruffin and the temptation. Is that what we are?
Co-host or Interviewer
That was. Sealed the deal on the backflip.
Omarion
I think so. I think so. I think so. Because it was just. I don't know when you really think about the concept of throwing yourself over. You know what I mean? Like, it's. It's some power in that. It's some. It's some athleticism. There's some energy in that, you know? I mean, somebody that could do a backflip, you might. You might be like, that's an interesting person. You know, what will possess them to throw themselves back aerodynamically?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I ain't never.
Omarion
Wait a minute. Hold up there.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You asking that question makes that crazy. Nah, I was. I was there, brother Coke. I was like, go ahead, get your. We gotta get it. He said he's got aerodynamic out there.
Omarion
Be like, wait a minute. I wasn't even shaking that.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, man. Not Anybody. At this point about the dance moves, we always talking about people doing major shit, but that's what got Chris Brown Smoke that battles.
Omarion
Yeah, man, that'd be that jealousy, man, when you dope like that, you know what I mean? They want to off you.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, that is crazy. But we talk about the different eras and time periods. Obviously been around a long time for people to go to having y' all on the wall, like, word of magazines for them to still be in the crow. Like, what's that feeling like to still be in touch with, like, your core fan base?
Omarion
Yeah, man, it's. It's. It's a couple of different things, man. It's. It's a feeling that sometimes is hard to describe because, you know, you put something out in the world and you created a connection and you build a relationship with. With people, and that's really what culture is, you know what I'm saying? It's like basically coming together and sharing your experience with others, and they go along that journey with you, you know, and you go along that journey with them, too, through, you know, the product, you know what I'm saying? That that album becomes, you know, that thing that. That memory that they held. Like, I remember one of the girls that came to the meet and greet, you know, as soon as she started walking up, I seen it was water in her eyes, and she was. As she was walking, and she was, like, trying to hold it down, and I'm just, like, looking at her, and then she just started crying, and then she didn't say anything, but she. Then after, you know, because I could tell it was something, you know, deeper than her just, like, coming to see her favorite group, you know what I'm saying? And then she ended up, like, hitting me in the dm and she was like, thank you so much for, like, seeing me. She was like, my last concert that I got to go with my mom, you know, so every time I come to a B2K, I think about my mom, you know what I'm saying? And this was a grown woman, you know what I'm saying? So we haven't toured in, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, 20 plus years. So she has held on to that experience, you know, and that's. That's through, you know, the art. That's through, you know, the songs and the hours of, you know, getting it wrong and curating music and a vibe in the industry, energy that people could have for a lifetime, you know what I'm saying? So it's deeper than I know people play around and they think that music is just this thing, like, oh, for the moment, you know what I mean? But for real, it's deeper than that. It's deeper than that. We really got a soundtrack to all. There's certain songs that bring you back into the mood, you know what I mean? And that changes your whole mind. You're not even present no more. That's what nostalgia is. Nostalgia takes you into a whole other world and then you're in a current world. So just think, think about that. Think about how healing that is for her, you know, for me to be able to see her and understand. Oh, I understand what you're going through. Give me a hug. You know what? It's all good. Your mom here with you. She said thank you for coming, you know what I mean? And she got to experience that, you know what I mean? So that for me, it's an honor. It's an honor to be in a position as an artist to have a gift like making music and to share my experiences like that and for it to pay not only dividends in that way, but like, emotionally, spiritually, you know what I mean? I feel like that's a grand deposit. Not everybody gets to experience that, you know what I'm saying? So, yeah. Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)

See, I was spending a catalog the other day, and I was like. Took me back to the old days. Cause Gots To Be In My Eyes is one of my favorite artists. I thought I was young when I first heard that song. And it still slapped today as an adult.
Omarion
Straight up. Straight up.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You brought up old. Remember what we was on with him? Okay, now, bro.
Omarion
Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
Hung a lot of though, right there.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, there we go.
Omarion
I didn't name the song,
Co-host or Interviewer
though.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That's number one.
Omarion
See? No, no.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, yeah, we on that today. We haven't for it, but, yeah, those songs, bro.
Co-host or Interviewer
Like that y'.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
All catalog now, he brought it up. Being messy, but we here now. Industry's talking about, you know what I'm saying? Potential versions. How we feeling? Okay. Pretty Ricky, what's going on? Seen the chatter, man? I heard it.
Omarion
Well, first, let me say, man, you know, big shout out to Pretty Ricky. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. No, we always show respect because that's what we require. Yeah, yeah. So we always show respect first, you know what I'm saying? Now, if you want to be disrespectful, that's different, you know what I'm saying? But we don't even have to worry about that, man, because 20 years, how many ever years later for them and for us, we both in the same place. Like, man, tour was so amazing. And one of the nights that I was telling y' all about, when we went out, we went out to go see Pleasure at one of his. His clubs that he had, and, man, it was such a good night. And he was on the mic and he was just giving it up, and he was like, Yo, B2K is in this mug. Like, wait a minute. Put on O. Start singing. Oh. You know what I'm saying? So. So it's love, you know what I'm saying? I think it would be. Well, let me say this. Let me say this. I think people forget that we were different ages when we came out. Yeah. We wasn't singing about 5 in the morning. And. Yeah, first.
Co-host or Interviewer
That's true.
Omarion
I mean, like, when we first came out, you know, we were talking about how the girls wanted us, you know what I'm saying? We. We was 14 and 15, 16. Like, we weren't really on that kind of vibe, even though we was all looking, you know what I'm saying? Like what we grew into, you know what I mean? Which was poor, you know, handsome man that the ladies love you feel me and adore you did. You know what I'm saying? But, but, but Pretty Ricky, bro, Pretty Ricky is like that. They got smashes, you know, B2K got smashed. I think it will be, you know, I think it will be a great night of R and B.
Co-host or Interviewer
It'll be a great night. It's just too different.
Omarion
It is Energies. Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
It's a grown man. I. I just feel like you said it right. Y' all were so young when y' all came out. Bum, bum, bum.
Omarion
Right, right.
Co-host or Interviewer
That was just like some school to
Omarion
play them all, right.
Co-host or Interviewer
That first Pretty Ricky album, it's like, come on, bro.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Come on. I'm getting pregnant.
Omarion
Straight up. A lot more ghetto than it was back then. I'm just keeping it real. The world is. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So, like, the kids, like, even they songs, even their music, the context a lot of their songs is like, what
Co-host or Interviewer
for it to even be like. Like this. I feel like to match the energy.
Omarion
Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah. We had to play a bunch of old. Like, old records.
Omarion
Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
I mean, I'm saying yeah to make it make sense, you know? I mean, these niggas playing all these grown people songs and they playing. It don't. It don't make no sense.
Omarion
Right.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I think it would be fire, though. I think it just straight up as a celebration. Like, I don't really.
Omarion
He has some solo bangers, too. He has some fire, too.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
So y'.
Co-host or Interviewer
All.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Miles was just going, okay, I see, I see where this is going. Oh, that's.
Co-host or Interviewer
He got some. But I think, oh, oh, my. You don't gotta. You don't gotta respond.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You got it.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, I got you right, y', all, though.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I do as well, bro.
Omarion
Damn.
Co-host or Interviewer
He got some shit, though.
Omarion
He got some.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah. I think it's dope, though, that y' all still can rock with each other.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah.
Omarion
Even though. Even on one of the nights of the tour. Cause, you know, we, we, we, we like friendly banter, you know what I'm saying? We still competitive. Don't get me wrong. You know what I mean? We still like that. Where it's like, okay, it's been 20 years plus. Let's see who could, you know what I'm saying? Still hit him with the. Okay, y'. All. Y' all know that. Oh, okay, cool. You know what I'm saying? Like, we still wanna. You know what I mean? So I think it still would be competitive.
Co-host or Interviewer
What group move better?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I, I, I think I see Pretty Ricky, bro. They in better shape. Yeah. Respect.
Co-host or Interviewer
Two of them been like me. And I see it was right here.
Omarion
Y' all stop.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Doing backflip. And my two was right here with it.
Omarion
Come on, my split.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Love my guys. I love that.
Omarion
Gonna go off, though.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, no, no. He going viral.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, he be crazy. Yeah, he jab walky.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
For real. Yeah, jab walkie for sure.
Co-host or Interviewer
For sure.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, he be trying to get to it.
Omarion
But for the record, though, you know what I mean? We got love and respect for, for Pretty Ricky. Everybody out there that's doing their thing, you know what I'. You know, everybody. Everybody has been around 20 plus years. That mean they put points on the board, you know what I'm saying? And that mean that they could hoop, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, who was.
Co-host or Interviewer
Are y' all doing another tour together? Just. I'm just talking about B2K or Y'. All.
Omarion
Yeah, man, we got some opportunity, you know, we. Yeah, we're definitely going to drop a new album. It's titled B2K Clips, you know what I'm saying? So be looking forward to some new B2K bangers. I'm just saying. We got a song called Mileage. Oh, yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Damn.
Omarion
Yeah, we got a song called either Way, Man.
Co-host or Interviewer
I got a couple I can play that for got my 96 cam. 400,000. Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
96 transmission.
Co-host or Interviewer
You got about 400 owners. She probably still working in the field.
Omarion
Hey, man. Hey. But the real question.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, whoa, no,
Omarion
She doing well oh, she doing well
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
that engine don't breaks, don't break
Co-host or Interviewer
down we almost form yo,
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
my one hour in Troy don't break past is shot. Oh, man. And we always talking about the group success, but what was like for you the first time that you was kind of not gonna say on your own, but when you kind of went solo and started making your own makers by yourself?
Omarion
I mean, it was a journey, because it wasn't a plan. It wasn't in the foreseeable future at that time to be, like, so focused on being a solo artist, you know what I'm saying? I feel like, in a way, I was, like, kind of shoved in the solo artist hood because, you know, the group was so successful, you know. I mean, like, I wasn't focused on, like. I think the idea came through the Pandemonium album because we all. We did a bundle at that time, you know, we all had our own separate covers, you know, and they were talking with Fizz because, you know, Fizz was, you know, rap, hip hop at that time and most popular. You know, the rapper was always the most popular in the group, you know what I mean? So I think that that kind of brought in that mindset, but then it was like, a bunch of stuff just happening behind the scenes that was just, like, for, you know, a teenage star was just hard to process, you know what I'm saying? So as a solo artist stepping into now, my then, like, not even months in between, not even years in between, to have to think about a concept or how I want to come, how I want to change, you know what I mean? It just kind of happened, you know what I'm saying? Which I think in hindsight, I definitely appreciate, you know, being guided, you know what I'm saying, into things that. Because. Because sometimes we have things in life, you know what I'm saying, that we're guided to and that we just have to either decide if we want to take responsibility for or not, you know what I'm saying? And that was one of those things that at the time, you know, it felt, like, very uncomfortable. But in hindsight, I was so happy because I think as a man, you have to create things on your own. You have to make something for yourself. You have to know who you are. And that was, like, me really maturing and seeing what I wanted to be and who I wanted to be in the space, you know what I'm saying? So it was good. It was great, actually. It was great action because I have to, as someone that's been in this business for a long time, take responsibility for being aware enough that I was being linked. I have to honor that with honoring it and saying, like, oh, I wouldn't be here if I didn't. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes you don't be ready for certain things, but guess what? You get pushed anyway. You gotta swim, you know what I mean? And when you are in a position like that, you swim different, you know what I'm saying? So I'm like, I'm thankful.
Co-host or Interviewer
When they pushed you out there, though, did they already have records for you or you had to get. Oh, damn, they threw you out there.
Omarion
Yeah, yeah. No, it was like, okay, the group is over. And it was like, oh, okay. And then I remember, I never forget that week. And then I heard them on Power 106, and they was talking shit about me. That hurt me, you know what I mean? So then I was in the studio, like, one, here comes the two to the three and four. And I was like, yeah, I'm on some shit now, you know what I'm saying? It inspired me in a way, too, you know what I mean? But it's like, look at us now, you know what I'm saying? I get the opportunity unlike any act that has been in a group before or solo act that's been in a group before, because real special people get the experience of breaking out of their group, you know what I mean? Just the Timberlakes, Beyonce's of the world, you know what I'm saying? When you in a group, you approach the stage differently, you know what I'm saying? So what schooling, you know what I mean? Like, grand schooling that I get with being pushed out there. I felt like I held my own, you know what I mean? I was like, oh, okay, boom. It's time. All right.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Boom.
Omarion
All right. Oh, number one. Boom. You know, 21, number one, you know what I mean? It was like, I did my work, you know what I'm saying? Icebox going up. Timberland for real. And it's like, okay, yeah, I did my work.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That's a banger. That's a banger.
Co-host or Interviewer
I like Icebox. Did any of them reach out, like the people who broke away from their groups and went so old to kind of give you some game on how to navigate through it?
Omarion
Nah, you know, at the time, I didn't really have, you know, like, even now, you know, I feel like I grew into, like, my relationships in this business, you know what I'm saying? I wasn't like a frat buddy or, you know, like, this literally was my schooling. This was my college, you know what I'm saying? So I never forged relationships for the sake of business, you know what I'm saying? Like, I was a kid in this business. If I really fucked with you, then it was like, okay, cool. But I probably wouldn't still even ask you or nothing, you know what I'm saying? And it wasn't a lot of people, because we started so young that was willing to be like, you know, put their arm around her shoulder and be like, yo, you need to be doing this. Hey, you need to look at this. You know what I'm saying? I kind of earned that now. Now I got, like, some older people that I could. Like, I'm about to make this deal, you know, this is the outline. What do you think about that? You know what I mean? And they could be like, oh, well, you need to be. You know what I'm saying? I just now got those relationships, you know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
For sure.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
And I asked you that question because I think you probably already seen the Michael movie just to see what he went through. It's like, even though it was family, you know what I'm saying? Kind of similar with you. Even at Warren Blood, which I was still family, he kind of had to go do his own thing. It was just like, I still love y', all, but I still gotta venture out. What's for me. I know that it looked like a hard task in that situation for me
Omarion
to do that straight up. It is. It's tough. And then, you know, it ain't like, we talking about just dollars and cents, man. We talking about love. We talking about emotions.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah.
Omarion
We talking about feeling betrayed, you know what I'm saying? You hear whispers, niggas hating on you, but, you know, they smiling in your face and shit. Like, yeah, it's a tough. It's a tough high school to grow up. But, you know, if you do, you know, you could be a great. You could be a legend.
Co-host or Interviewer
What was that first record that you wrote that you was like, all right, this the one?
Omarion
The first record? Well, I would say my experience in writing songs has always been in a kind of collective way. I just now probably started writing my own song. And of course, you know, I probably got a bunch of songs sitting in my phone that I never shared before, you know what I'm saying? It's for the sake of songwriting, you know what I mean? But I think contributing on songs like Icebox, you know what I mean? Like, coming up with that title and that concept, you know what I'm saying? Because there was no song out there that embodied the emotion of feeling, trying to not be sad about a heartbreak, you know what I'm saying? Empowering yourself. The process of that ain't even supposed to be, you know what I'm saying? Like, pulling up on cd, you know what I'm saying? Our relationship at that time, you know, like, really making music.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That's a banger. It's a banger.
Co-host or Interviewer
I don't know.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Pleasure to figure out what it is
Co-host or Interviewer
on there with you. Is that Janae?
Omarion
Yeah. Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Come on, bro. That's a banger.
Co-host or Interviewer
It is a slap. Icebox. I was like, is that song about, like, ain't?
Omarion
Yeah, come on. I got this ice box.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You kind of.
Co-host or Interviewer
Kind of make me toxic a little bit off.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I want to say it be here, but that was an early toxic ale. Early toxic. Early. Early one wearing ballado.
Omarion
I'm just saying we couldn't even be in power.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
We did.
Omarion
We was losing the battle. We had the no Scrub song, all that. We was getting beat up.
Co-host or Interviewer
No, that's a thousand percent beating us, bro.
Omarion
I was like, I got this ice. My heart used to be I ain't with you now.
Co-host or Interviewer
Was that different touring, how you feel touring solo versus with the guys? Are you still comfortable or.
Omarion
Yeah, for sure. You know what I mean? Yeah, for sure. But it was like, maybe the first couple of shows, like my first show, man, I was so. I think more than anything, it was emotional for me because it was just like, the way it happened, you know what I mean? So it was like, you know, people don't understand this part of performing because, you know, every day is something happening. So we get to the stage differently every day, you know? And depending on where our mindset is and our mind, you know, that has to do with us performing, you know, that could affect our performing, you know what I mean? So I think it was, like, maybe one show that I was, like, you know, I was, like, emotional, you know what I'm saying? And feeling like, damn, gotta go. You know what I'm saying?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
All right, cool.
Omarion
You know what I'm saying? And it's funny, on this tour, I found something that I lost, you know what I'm saying? Because of the way it happened. And that was my backflip. Cause in B2K. Like, I don't know of any other people. Artists backflipping at the time. I think we knew Usher could. You know what I'm saying? But nobody was backflipping in song building offices. Like I was doing that. I was back flipping off the table in this little small. You know what I'm saying? So that was like my shit. But it went away when I started doing O. In Touch. I stopped flipping, you know what I'm saying? I stopped giving my energy. So on this tour, oh, I was backflipping ever since the LA show. So now I'm like, wait a minute, hold up. I'm back in that energy. I'm back in that mode, you know what I'm saying? So that's the game.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Now listen, Drake album just drop. I gotta ask. One of my favorite interludes of all time, man. Briz. Interlude. How did that happen, brother?
Omarion
That happen. Yeah. So, you know, I was signed to. To Young Money for. For a brief moment, you know what I mean? And, yeah, shout out to Wayne, you know, we was trying to work it out. The business didn't work out, but he always used to come here and stay at the Beverly Wilshire, you know what I mean? And I think he was on tour or something, you know what I mean? Lobby crazy. Everybody down there, we hanging out, Tiger down there. Nikki Dallas. First time I meet Drake is on tour, you know what I mean? And Wayne introduces him like, yo, this. This Drake right here, like, you gonna hear about him. He got all the hits. I'm like, okay, cool. You know what I'm saying? So that was the first time we met. And then that other time, you know, when I went to link up with him at The Beverly Wilshire, 40 was downstairs, and 40 was like, yo, oh, we about to drop this, you know, mixtape so far gone, man. You should come get on it, Lloyd. On it. This person on it. I'm like, cool, I'll come upstairs. So he already had the bridge and a little beat, you know what I'm saying? And I was like, okay. So I put down like a couple of, like, two or three melodies I wrote. Then we went downstairs, played around a little bit, went back up. Then he was like, these are the melodies that I think you know, is the best. And I was like, oh, damn. And that's when I knew the value of 40 right there, you know what I'm saying? I was like, oh. Cause sometimes when you creating this shit, you like, I don't. You know what I mean? I'm the type of person. Because this is how I learned too, you know, as far as like recording vocals. Because there's an era like back in the Motown days, they would sit and learn those songs and create those songs so they could sing them in a way that felt familiar, you know what I mean? Like sometimes I'm getting a demo fresh, this cat, he's singing a higher key than me. I gotta, you know, it's a banger. So I wanna record the record, but you know what I'm saying? So it was a process. Oh damn, I forgot my point. What was we talking about? Okay, yeah, so 40 picked the reference Bria and then I wrote it and then Drake came upstairs and then that was all she wrote.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, that shit, that's a banger. Still to this day.
Co-host or Interviewer
Straight up, how long was you on cash money, man?
Omarion
It had to be like maybe six months.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
Oh yeah.
Omarion
It was short. It was short. It was short.
Co-host or Interviewer
Speaking about joining a big conglomerate, what about that? How did Maybach.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, made back. Oh yeah, self made stepson. That's just real for sure.
Omarion
Come on, man.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)

time, the music business was shifting for me, you know, and I felt like because of what I came from, I was kind of searching for that again, like to be a part of something, you know what I'm saying? And it didn't work with Young Money. So I remember I was at the CIA. Ciaa Wheat Team Charlotte. Yeah, Charlotte. And I don't know how I ended up whatever at this club. And then I seen Rose and he came over and he was just like, yo, what's up? Like man, we need to do something, you know what I'm saying? And I was like, oh, okay. Damn. Okay. He really interested. He really interested in doing business. Like, okay, cool. He like, yeah, as soon as I get back, boom, boom, boom. And he kept his word. He kept his word, you know what I mean? I went down to Florida and he was recording and then we just started going off, you know what I mean? And then he was like, yo, like Maybach. Oh, let's go. And I feel like in hindsight, I feel like in hindsight, you know what I'm saying? I had a Maybach at the time. That's why I named myself Maybach all the time, by the way. Ok, I had a Maybach at the time, so I was like, that's my lifestyle. But at the time it was just like, wow, this is a new era. This is a, you know, different version of me, you know, I mean, that I wanted to kind of transform into. And that's really what it was, you know, I mean, I was able to, you know, put my post, get my post to be. Record out. Like it was, it was some business there, you know, I was like really coming of age in my business and I felt like Rose understood my language, you know what I mean? Even though, you know, the, the business taught me from the past, it's good to have an executive in the building, you know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
Cause people had an album was so crazy.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
The first old way albums is, hey, come on. Hey. That was my shit.
Omarion
Yeah. I feel like I also brought validity to his business and that's why it made sense for him, you know what I'm saying? It was like it wasn't no other well known artists, you know, like Meek was bubbling, you know what I'm saying?
Co-host or Interviewer
Everybody was getting their start.
Omarion
Exactly, you know what I'm saying?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
They was looking for that look.
Omarion
But yeah, so he made me feel like, yeah, you know what I'm saying? So that's why it was intriguing to me too. It didn't feel like I was on his label and shit. It felt more like a partnership. And I'm like, I'm gonna help you build, you know what I mean?
Co-host or Interviewer
So yeah, I ain't even thinking about it like that. You was the only one putting the breakout star on there.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Everybody was on their way. He was already established, that's what I'm saying.
Omarion
And I did songs with everybody.
Co-host or Interviewer
Nah.
Omarion
Yeah, you know what I'm saying? That was on purpose.
Co-host or Interviewer
Oh, okay.
Omarion
You know what I mean?
Co-host or Interviewer
That's hard.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
What's a song that was fired that you passed on ended up being like, damn, I wish I would have kept it. I wish I would have tapped in with this song.
Omarion
It hasn't been no songs.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Okay.
Omarion
Yeah. And, you know, that bag, it changes, you know what I'm saying? It changes with the songwriters, you know what I mean? Because sometimes, like, back in the day, like, Dream was writing a lot. Dream was, you know what I mean? Like, yeah. And then pain started writing, you know what I mean? So it ain't a lot of, like, cats in the game that you not gonna know of. Like, even still now, you know, it's like, not a lot of new young cats, but this cast that actually got skinny game and know what they doing, too. Still writing smashes. So I try to stay out of the pot of what that is. I think it's way more intentional when I'm working with these new guys, and I'm like, let's put out the Tupperware. Let's cook for real. You know what I mean? So now that's kind of my approach. But earlier on, and sometimes you come across a song. I come across songs all the time, and I'm not necessarily listening to. Just copy the song and the vibe and the energy, because that'd be indicative to the artist, like, the person singing behind it.
Co-host or Interviewer
I believe that.
Omarion
You know what I'm saying? So it's like, hold up. I gotta put my swag on this. You know what I mean? Like, oh, I might not say this. I might approach it like this. Like, it's certain things, you know, some songwriters, they'll say. And I'd be like, I would never say that. Especially by women. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, damn.
Co-host or Interviewer
This is different with rap, though, and R and B. Yeah. I feel like even if you did, it wouldn't be as criticized as much as, like, somebody actually rapping for you and writing for you. It's different.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Look at that.
Co-host or Interviewer
Totally different.
Omarion
Yeah, because the pillar of hip hop is writing. That is art. It's like creative art. You know what I'm saying? Like, the essence of hip hop, you gotta be able to, like, put words together for real and not just be somebody else's, you know what I'm saying? That's what I personally. Cause you could rap after somebody. You could match a flag. But how long is that gonna last if your writer go out the door?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yeah, I was a rapper. I couldn't have nobody writing my wrongs. Yeah, everybody.
Omarion
If I was a singer in rapper. Nah, I gotta write my own. My talk gotta be like that. Cause that's what. That's what the hip hop.
Co-host or Interviewer
No, I gotta give you some pushback on that.
Omarion
Okay.
Co-host or Interviewer
Because I feel like to me, music is music. And I get it, it is a difference. But it be 12 people on the R and B track and they kinda be like, we kind of know that's not your record, right? Kind of. You, you're the perfect fit for the song.
Omarion
No, all these 12 wrote it for you. How about that, Bro, do you know how many they can't sing, bro, I'mma tell you right now, the. The, the pot, the Potter,
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
They had a voice for it.
Co-host or Interviewer
I don't like doing.
Omarion
That's true.
Co-host or Interviewer
I ain't going at him musically or not.
Omarion
I feel like.
Co-host or Interviewer
Like this nigga can't flop like me. I look better than this nigga. I got more hoes than this.
Omarion
Okay, well, this is the reference I'mma make. That goes away. That goes away. Because you can have a good run, but you can't beat Jay Z. Just by chance, you can have a good run, but you can't be Kendrick Lamar. By chance. You can have a great run. You could be the flyest, handsomest nigga that got flows, that's rapping, because this N got your flow. But guess what? But you ain't gonna have a run. You can have one run. You can't be like that and expect to be Tupac. You gotta. As far as hip hop goes, and it goes the same way for R and B, you know what I'm saying? It's like, you really gotta put in
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
that work if you want to say, that's what I'm gonna be.
Co-host or Interviewer
That's what I'm saying.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Documentary. If they want to shut the hell up. Them niggas,
Omarion
that's a lot.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
They was up there whiling, bro.
Omarion
They don't.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
They don't.
Omarion
Do you know how they was acting on the planet when they did that? We getting all over the whole world.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah, I'm telling you.
Omarion
And the energy. Pendulum swings, you know what I'm saying? Like, everybody, especially music artists, you gotta have peaks and valleys. That's just life. You not gonna be high forever, you know what I'm saying? Like, you gonna have to figure out some other shit to do, you know? So.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
So if you can't really rap, man,
Co-host or Interviewer
I'm coming up with a new sound on this first year.
Omarion
Oh, I'm finna get popped
Co-host or Interviewer
next year. 2027. I'm the baby.
Omarion
And that's. Listen. And this is why hip hop is dead.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Yes.
Omarion
No, because. Because people really think it's a quick scheme. They think it's a real. They think it's a fast journey and it's really not like. Like Kendrick probably getting like 2, 3 on his shows.
Co-host or Interviewer
That's Ken, though. That's different.
Omarion
But you don't think. He didn't sit with the pen. Yeah, he.
Co-host or Interviewer
No, he's ill with the pen. He's.
Omarion
No, I mean sit with it. Sit with it.
Co-host or Interviewer
That's what I'm saying. Yes, he.
Omarion
For real. For real.
Co-host or Interviewer
But I'm saying it's so many different variations of rap. And I feel like rappers can come out with a new style, though. Bro, you just.
Omarion
I was saying, come out with a new style.
Co-host or Interviewer
They switch up the flow.
Omarion
I agree.
Co-host or Interviewer
A few rappers have switched up they flow.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You got to hire a new rapper every year.
Co-host or Interviewer
Oh, did it. What he hired. Hey, come here. Help me put. Let's work. Let's make this fire record together.
Omarion
Yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
You know what I'm saying? Just say he just started writing his own shit. Oh, a legend. Nigga, you right.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I'm gonna start rapping. But see, the only. I mean, behind the scenes of rap is different than R and B, because how they put music together is different.
Omarion
And also, let's just be real. If we talking about flow and melody, be. I mean, that. I guess that could be viewed as the same. Yes, I guess you could view that as the same. Yeah, that's true.
Co-host or Interviewer
You're so good at what you do. It don't matter. Like you said, you can remix somebody give you a good record. You're not gonna say that, but you're gonna write your own words in this.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
And then you.
Omarion
That's true.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah. You still back flipping that 40, right?
Omarion
Right.
Co-host or Interviewer
I'm cold at what I do. I can rap. Oh, you can't with.
Omarion
All right, my bad.
Co-host or Interviewer
I see why Bobby left them. They trying to hold my back.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
See.
Co-host or Interviewer
Gotta get rid of these.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I think everybody come to see you start rapping. Oh, God. N. I saw him and John Rule. You see how he hopped out the chopper? Top tier legendary. One of my favorite top tier choreography. Oh, where he hopping out the chopper?
Omarion
I guess the real difference that I'm just trying to, you know what I'm saying, really differentiate is like, I think, like the arts. Because sometimes. Sometimes people think that it's just something that you can do and you can pick up, you know, Like. No, it's people that, like, you know, spend years and years with you. You know what I mean? And it's like people would be coming in here, you know, hyping up, piping up the business of this. You know what I'm saying? And that's why the game is fucked up. It's because of the business. Because people think, oh, okay, you know what? I'm gonna get this person. He doesn't even know. He doesn't even know. We're gonna put him in360. We just invented this deal. Yeah. And now, you know, that's the name of the game. And it's just like, no, that's not. No, we didn't. You know, the people that been here that really helped build these businesses, we didn't come here just so you could kick us out and just. It's just that practice of, you know, not. Not appreciating something that's a real art. You know what I'm saying?
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
I said it heavily with. The streaming era is like a microwave area because a lot of these artists ain't really artists. They like, all right, I can make this song. I can be lit on social media.
Omarion
And, hey, matter of fact, AI. That's what I'm saying. AI is already trying to put the music in the box.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
We got an album coming from behind
Co-host or Interviewer
Shout Out, Shout out to China Style. It's one of my favorite albums.
Omarion
No, you know what? No, hold up. No, it's some AI. No, it's some AI artist that's fire. But just know you listening to something fake.
Co-host or Interviewer
I don't plan on go see her ass anyway.
Omarion
Send it out.
Co-host or Interviewer
That is kind of up the game. I want to ask how you feel about independent versus a label, though. What kind of game can you give an artist when they trying to, you know what I mean, decide the two?
Omarion
Well, I can only speak from my experience, you know, and I think that it's important, you know, to highlight that because my journey is different from my. You know, you might have different choices or different options then, you know what I'm saying? So, yeah, what I can say about the difference between a major and, you know, indie or even that approach, you know, it's. It's. The difference is responsibility. How much. How much do responsibility and, you know, equity do you want to have in your own success? That's really what it boils down to because some people don't mind cashing out and not being the reason or understand the formula. And I. For me, to me, I don't. I don't. As. As a person that has so much experience. I'm just. I'm not in that place anymore to not hold myself accountable for what I'm putting forth when it comes to a product, you know what I'm saying? I'm. And I'm. Not. I don't want to be in a position with a company that acts like they understand what that messaging and that. That direction is. You know, really, the. The point of a lot of these major corporations is to support you. It is to support, you know, your plan and your ideas, you know, and your strategy. And I think, you know, that's the difference. And I would say also now, like, major deals is like, they're crazy. They're crazy as far as, you know, what they offering. It's ridiculous. It's actually shameful, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. What they offer some people or what they're, quote, unquote, only willing to give. You know what I'm saying? But then there are people in this business, you know, if. If you are truly blessed and favored, you know what I mean? That will move mountains for you, and that will call the right people to help support and believe in your dream. Because essentially, that's what it's doing. So, you know, if you're taking out a loan, just be able to pay it back, you know, have some equity. That's what I would say.
Co-host or Interviewer
Okay.
Omarion
You know, that's the game that I would give, like. Like have equity in what you're doing. You know what I'm saying? Just give it away.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
That's what I was gonna say. I know it's probably crazy, especially from your standpoint, because you was at a time where it was different from music, what they was offering them, what they was doing.
Omarion
Yeah.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Much different from now. So you're looking at this like, hell, no. I didn't do all this work to go backwards.
Omarion
Yo. I got my first Millie, you know what I mean? On Sony, like 21 years old.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
It's hard.
Omarion
No? A whole million, you know what I'm saying? Not, not, not. You know, like. Like, so it's like, oh, it's serious money being made for sure. Exactly. Guess what? Guess what? They can cut you out. That's crazy. They could just be like, yeah, here you go. Here goes in there.
Co-host or Interviewer
You know why they can't cut me out, though? Tell nigga I'm the baby now.
Omarion
Hey, but you can't get that high. Cause the baby exists. You can't even make that much.
Co-host or Interviewer
It's only Wanda.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
They gonna say, you sound like them, though.
Co-host or Interviewer
So what they look when Migos and them drop. All them people look when Thug look at. Look at the influence of Lil Uzi Vert XX Extension and rip. All them growing up under him, bro. They got a. That's a whole wave of Music that sound the same. They all got their own cult following.
Omarion
They do.
Co-host or Interviewer
It's the thing, bro. I could be the baby.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Come on, man.
Omarion
No, actually, I would agree with you that you can have a cold following.
Co-host or Interviewer
Yeah.
Omarion
And you really. Only you don't need a whole bunch of people.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
You just. 30,000 people to rock with.
Co-host or Interviewer
Big baby.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)

Omarion
Now you going somewhere with this.
Co-host or Interviewer
Sell out arenas you can. These motherfucking theaters. Yeah, go above.
Omarion
Hey, it could work.
Co-host or Interviewer

Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)

Co-host or Interviewer
It's on the whole album cover, bro.
Omarion
I gotta hear the flow. I gotta hear the flow. Okay, all right. I gotta hear flow. I believe, though. I believe.
Club 520 Host (possibly a DJ or main presenter)
Oh, yeah.
Co-host or Interviewer
You got your own studio on, huh? I probably need to come in there, man. Okay, three for a couple days and I'm. One take Jake in.
