Like, oh, man, you got to get better at this sometimes. You got to encourage him and tell them stuff they. That he's good at. Like, hey, man, you one of the best players at blocking out or guarding or whatever it is, and keep encouraging him that way, and eventually, you know, he'll find some success in doing what he's good at, and it might build a little confidence. And then when something bad happens, one thing is coaches, what we do when a player messes up, turn the ball over or whatever, you immediately jump on them. Like, man, you gotta make a better play.

And some kids, you don't know what they're going through at home. You don't know what's going on. They might be used to somebody screaming at them all the time at home, so they might shut down. Even though we grew up in a different environment when nobody got baby, kids are a little fragile now. You might have to baby them a bit.
