Oikos presents 15 seconds of strength. Here we go. Steve's got a trunk full of groceries.
DJ Wells
And no one to help him. Oh, that's tough, Jim. Looks like a five trip load at least. He grabs the first bag, the second Bob. It looks like he's trying to do it all one trip. He shimmies the door open, steps over the dog.
Jim
Oh, and he stumbles.
DJ Wells
Oh, right.
Jim
The kitchen.
DJ Wells
Without missing a beat.
Podcast Host
Jim.
DJ Wells
Now that's a man who eats his protein packed Oikos.
Jim
With 15 grams of complete protein in each cup. Oikos Triple Zero can help build strength for every day. Oikos Stronger makes everything better.
Podcast Host
The volume.
DJ Wells

Jim
You are the father.
DJ Wells
It does require credit qualification, ID verification and an activation on a $6 plan. Taxes are extra and 5G speeds may not be available in all areas. But they said it was nationwide. Just not in your hood. Your neighbor good, though. Remember when we ordered that stuff off of that one at. And then we came back, we ordered all them water, some drinks, them bananas, all that stuff for the studio and we had that extra tech crazy fees. Crazy. Yeah, because we. I think the balance was pretty high. But then what we got what we ordered, man. It wasn't what we paid for that extra 51 for me. Come on, man. People, life is already hard. Inflation is kicking everybody's butt right now. You ain't trying to pay extra on top of the extra. That's why you gotta tap in with John. Tell them be him.
Jim
Chime.com, baby. Fee free.
DJ Wells

So it's only right we got a superstar wiz. But we are going to introduce her last. To my far left. We got my dog Bishop B hitting out the prairies. How you what Nasty?
Jim
What's happening, brother? Let's get to it.
DJ Wells
Now listen, this has nothing to do with nothing, right? But off my conversations, we were just talking about, you know what I'm saying, a restaurant that we all enjoy and behin is known for Remixing. He is a chef. He has a great catering company.
Jim
Yes, ma'. Am.
DJ Wells
He go crazy in the kitchen.
Podcast Host
It makes sense now. Okay, it makes sense. Got it, got it.
DJ Wells
I would love for him to run some of his remixes of these restaurants.
Jim
It's not really a remix. I educate her off the camera.
Podcast Host
Well, he was already remixing and drinks over here, so.
Jim
Yeah, no, you got to put the sherbet in the body armor. That's. That's for my workout. Workout, guys. We'll work on that later. That's a little meal prep for you. After the gym question.
Podcast Host
After the gym. Yeah.
Jim
Gluten free. I got a question for you. Spaghetti, right?
DJ Wells
Yeah, that's a great question.
Jim
Let's start here.
Podcast Host
You feel me starting off slow?
Jim
Yes. You know what I mean? My favorite spaghetti, is it made together in one pot, or do you have the noodles and the meat and sauce separate?
Podcast Host
It's separated, and then you mix it together.
Jim
Yeah, but how do you serve it to eat? Is it. Is it already put together?
Podcast Host
It's put together.
Jim
There we go. Thank you, Jade.
DJ Wells
That's not real.
Jim
Thank you, Jay. Yes, it is. That's a thing. Absolutely. No.
DJ Wells
Yes.
Jim
Thank you so much.
Podcast Host
Restaurant. You don't have it separated?
DJ Wells
No, no, no, no. She's saying. No, we talking about. Are they in the same pot?
Podcast Host
Yes.
Jim
Yes. Yeah, yeah.
Podcast Host
I cook it separate, but then I put it together.
Jim
Exactly.
DJ Wells
And then we saw.
Podcast Host
Yes.
DJ Wells
Why they ridiculed us.
Podcast Host
Okay. Okay, how about this? Sugar or salt and pepper?
DJ Wells
Well, on a spaghetti.
Podcast Host
Yes.
DJ Wells
Sugar. A little bit of sugar. Sugar meat.
Podcast Host
Let's see what kind of chef he is.
DJ Wells
You ain't here to. You here to kill?
Jim
Yeah, I'm not here to heal you. I'm here to kill you. But sugar is childish, because if yo. If your sauce is flavored correctly, then you don't have to worry about any enhancements on top. That's like when you go to a steakhouse. That's. That's why they don't have a one. Because don't disrespect my restaurant putting this. You know what I mean, Sauce on.
DJ Wells
Top of my shout out to A1 sauce.
Jim
So it's different. So when you add something onto it.
DJ Wells
They want me down.
Podcast Host
You sure, though. They hate when you add.
Jim
They hate when you ask. But I mean, if you put sugar on your. You know what I mean? Respect whatever you put sugar on. That's on love who you love.
Podcast Host
But I put sugar on it when it's not good.
Jim
See what I'm saying? That's when you have to remix my mama like that, that's what you got to see. We wanted the same shout out to J. Go introduce that.
DJ Wells
I guess my right my dog young Nacho, Young T. I eat what I'm chill, man. You know we here at SummerSlam, so I'm excited. We got some of the Superstars here and one of my favorite superstars, so let you do it last. Come on, man, you know what time it is. It's only right. SummerSlam. It's grown two nights back to back. We here shout out to Sean for getting us here. The one only, Ms. J Cargill. Appreciate you sliding on us.
Podcast Host
What's up? What's up? Thank you for having me. Also Ms. Queen of the Ring. Also future WWE Women's champion.
DJ Wells
Yeah, respect.
Podcast Host
Okay, Accolades, Accolades.
DJ Wells
We ain't gonna talk about the team you own as well, you know what I'm saying? We're gonna say later.
Podcast Host
Later.
DJ Wells
That's later.
Podcast Host
That's later. That's later.
DJ Wells
We got plenty to talk about, you know what I'm saying? But once, shout out to Chan for getting us here, man. WWE shows us good love. Let's talk about this before. You know what I'm saying, it became Ms. J Cargo in the ring, you know what I'm saying? We know you used to get nice on the court.
Podcast Host
I want to see it.
DJ Wells
Oh, you in the run.
Podcast Host
Listen, I got a good little step back jumper, okay?
DJ Wells
They said you was a rebounder.
Podcast Host
So listen, my senior year, I won. I was. My senior year.
Jim
Damn. That's the end.
Podcast Host
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Listen. No, no, no, no, no, no. And let me explain. Did you play basketball?
Jim
Oh, my mama, I hooked, hooped.
Podcast Host
So listen. No, the real stress. Four.
Jim
What you mean?
Podcast Host
We did. Listen, we did four out. We played four out, okay? We played four out and you was going in four. No, at times when I play out because I got a quick first step. So if you come out, I'm taking you to the rim. And if you don't, I'm shooting, okay? And taking that jumper. That's what I do. But at the same time, I have ups. So if that classifies me as a rebounder, then I guess I'm a rebounder.
Jim
Well, I'll bounce you a little older. Yeah, I ain't heard that either.
DJ Wells
I got ups.
Podcast Host
I got ups. But I think I'm the youngest person sitting over here.
DJ Wells
You are.
Jim
So you grew up with your grandma?
DJ Wells
I got up.
Podcast Host
You can go find a corner or wherever you need to go. I have pops, I have hops.
Jim
Yes, did you stop playing, like, after your senior year?
Podcast Host
No, I went overseas for two years to Le Havre in France. So I did that. But women especially. When I graduated in 2014, we didn't make anything. Like, we barely made anything. And so especially being overseas, I didn't make anything. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna come back. And I got my master's in child psychology, and I did that.
Jim
That's dope.
Podcast Host
I made way more money.
Jim
So, yeah, that's dope.
DJ Wells
That's dope. No, it's weird.
Podcast Host
That's why I can read you. I already know what you about. I already know what you about. Okay, you childish. Here. Go calm.
Jim
Go crazy.
Podcast Host
Not that kind. Not that kind.
DJ Wells
Call me now.
Jim
I love to learn about when I'm a die.
Podcast Host
So childish.
Jim
Childish when I'm a die.
DJ Wells
So roll with him.
Jim
Let me know.
Podcast Host
I already know what you about. I already know.
DJ Wells
Listen, we joking. Obviously had a crazy high school career. Played basketball, Jacksonville. Well, what. I mean, I don't want to skip too far for it, but obviously, being an athlete now, being a professional athlete with wrestling, what's that difference? Like, going from playing basketball to, like, being the ultimate athlete?
Podcast Host
You know what? I was real cocky basketball player. And I. Can I. This is PG13. Yeah. I talk my. So I'm the type of person where, like, I get in people's head. I was very just like, what the you gonna do? So it does. It helps me out with my character because my character is real cocky. I just talked my smack like it is what it is. What you gonna do about it? That's where it helps me out. And I like to compete. You say that you can do this. Let me show you. I'm better. That's the type of person I am. So it just helps me out, fool around. And being a child psychologist. So I know you childish, but, yeah, respect. And I'm a natural born athlete. So whoever want to come see it, I got it.
Jim
Yeah, we run the warm ones.
DJ Wells
You feel them?
Podcast Host
Not with these nails, but I don't know. When we talk about a bag, we could probably run something.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Jim
Oh, damn.
Podcast Host
Oh, y' all got it?
Jim
Yeah.
DJ Wells
I don't want no smoke. All right, well, tap in.
Jim
I run the ones. I'm something.
Podcast Host
Where were you?
Jim
We could. We could play one on one for a play. Oh, one through five.
Podcast Host
Yeah, I figured.
Jim
Yeah, it was. I was all five. I was five out.
DJ Wells
It was like, yogich.
Podcast Host
Got it.
Jim
So you. So what position did you play? Because T said you're a rebounder.
Podcast Host
Yeah, he was trying, so I need.
Jim
To see the stat. Okay, There we go.
Podcast Host
Combo guard. And then my senior year, we started playing four out. We had a whole different coach, and we played four out because we were smaller. My sister.
Jim
Okay.
DJ Wells
What made you go to Jacksonville, though?
Podcast Host
My grandmother was sick, and I needed to be closer to home because I actually was going to go to Georgia State. And then when my grandmother got sick, I wanted to be closer to home.
DJ Wells
I respect that.
Podcast Host
And I actually got out of my scholarship, which was crazy, because at the time, that's when, like, you couldn't tr. It's. Basketball is. Is so weird to me now because you could just transfer to a different school each year, and I would have had to sit out an entire year. So for some, I got out of it. And then everything just started getting different. Like, conferences are different. I don't even watch basketball.
DJ Wells
Like, I used to understand, oh, my.
Podcast Host
Gosh, my fine ass could have got paid.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Jim
2113 and 6 is nuts.
DJ Wells
That's at school.
Podcast Host
Are you Googling it?
Jim
Nah, I'm just saying. I just. My boy just told me that you average 21 13.
Podcast Host
She's lying. But I didn't average 21 on my senior year. Not my senior year. My sophomore. My senior year.
DJ Wells
I was killing from.
Jim
Right?
Podcast Host
No. So my senior year, I kind of. I was just like, I'll do this for fun, but this isn't. I knew I wasn't gonna go pro, so I was just like, I'll just do this for fun, and I'll use the money to get my education for my master's. And that's what I did.
Jim
Six deals is crazy, though.
Podcast Host
I'm quick. That quick.
DJ Wells
How long do you have your six deals?
Jim
6.2.
DJ Wells
Wait, what school is this?
Podcast Host
Jackson?
DJ Wells
Oh, high school.
Podcast Host
No. Well, in high school, I was. So I've been to three different schools. I sat out my junior year. It's a lot. I had to go to court, so I had to. I went to two different. Two different schools, but I don't know if you heard of Florida Air Academy.
DJ Wells
No, that's a high school.
Podcast Host
Img.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Yeah.
Podcast Host
Yeah. This is. So this is high school.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Jim
Okay.
Podcast Host
So we were sponsored. Florida Air Academy was sponsored by Jordan. Like, we were.
DJ Wells
Oh, yeah.
Podcast Host
Shit. Like, so good. My whole AAU team transferred to the school. I got flagged. I had to go to court, and I had to set out my junior year.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Podcast Host
So that killed a lot of momentum for me as well, because I was raped and I sat out. I got.
DJ Wells
Oh, she Was nice. For real?
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
Yes.
DJ Wells
You talking about age.
Podcast Host
I let all that. Listen, we won state, we won district. I was good, but so I got cleared. I was cleared to play two games. I scored 22 points in my first game, and that's when they pulled me back, and I had to go back to court, and I. It was overturned, and I couldn't play.
Jim
That's a hell of a journey.
Podcast Host
Yeah. It's BS because now kids can go and make and do and whatever.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Podcast Host
So. But I think Trump just put a lid on that.
DJ Wells
Yeah. He tried to hate a little bit. He gonna try to block it a little bit so people can't get that much money in nil.
Jim
Oh.
DJ Wells
Basically, that's the.
Jim
I ain't mad at that, though.
DJ Wells
But as a high school coach, that's interesting to hear. Yeah. I mean. Never mind.
Podcast Host
I'm just gonna say what you gotta say.
DJ Wells
No, I can't. Yeah.
Podcast Host
All right, all right, all right, all right.
Jim
So how'd you get into wrestling?
Podcast Host
Mark Henry had found me the hall of Fame. Henry, I love him to death. That's like my wrestling dad.
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
He was like, you know, we had a mutual friend. He was like, you ever thought about wrestling? I laughed out loud because I was like, wrestling. Like, who wrestles? Like, I haven't watched wrestling since I was, like, 12, because I used to love it. And so I went to a tryout, did amazing. Ended up going to another company, and I had my debut match with Cody Rose, who is our champion, and Shaquille o' Neal was my partner. And it was more like, no one gets those type of matches other than, like, if you're legacy or something like that. But it's fun. It's nothing like it. And the fact that if you play basketball, you know how it is to entertain someone, and, you know, the feeling of being in the spotlight and just taking it all in, soaking it all in. It's just one and the same for me. It was easy.
Jim
Gotcha.
DJ Wells
Damn. Were you always, like, physically built like this, or you had to start?
Podcast Host
No, I have great genetics, but I work hard. I really do work hard because working out is, like, my job.
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
So I've always been genetically gifted.
Jim
She's definitely worse. He be popping this all the time.
DJ Wells
She worse than me.
Jim
We embraced that on this show.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Now you talk about growing up watching wrestlers. Who are some of your favorite wrestlers or somebody that you rocked with early on?
Podcast Host
China.
DJ Wells
Okay.
Podcast Host
China Jazz. Growing up, like, I'm from the hood, I didn't see a lot of women that look, like, super built and look like that. And I was picked on growing up because I was so muscular. Like, they'll say, oh, she's a man. She's. But I seen this, these two women, actually, Jacqueline as well, and I was like, damn. Like, they look great. And the fact they have so much confidence, they walking out there, they don't give a damn who you are, what you about. They gonna show you what they're about. I was just like, yeah, I like that. I have to embody that. So those are the three women that I looked up to. And I was like, I want that.
DJ Wells
Sure. For sure.
Jim
I remember China.
DJ Wells
I'm a wrestling fan, so I watch wrestling these dudes.
Podcast Host
Is he lying?
DJ Wells
Nah, he's really.
Podcast Host
Gonna say that.
Jim
Oh, they Spain and everything.
Podcast Host
Okay.
DJ Wells
Don't believe that.
Podcast Host
You got pictures? You got pictures.
DJ Wells
I ain't never been. I ain't never been. Like, face paint crazy, bro. Face paint crazy.
Podcast Host
Some people do that. Are you guys coming to the show?
Jim
Oh, for sure.
DJ Wells
Most definitely.
Podcast Host
Something you'll see.
DJ Wells
We seen you at WrestleMania.
Jim
Yeah, I was at WrestleMania.
DJ Wells
We seen you come down there.
Podcast Host
Our fans are amazing. They're crazy.
Jim
I'm a fan now.
DJ Wells
Speaking of WrestleMania, I wanted to ask you, what was that like? You know, being at WrestleMania. Your first WrestleMania.
Podcast Host
That's my second.
DJ Wells
Oh, second. My fault. Disrespect.
Jim
Well, she knows. She. She.
Podcast Host
And oh, I'm two and.
DJ Wells
Oh, two and. Oh, my fault.
Podcast Host
It was great. The crowd is electric. For me, the bigger the crowd, the more I can embody my character. It's actually the smaller the crowd where I'm like, damn, am I doing this right? This is right. Like, I started second guessing, but the bigger the crowd, the more I come alive. So whole nother world where you're in the ring, there's one ring with thousands and thousands of people. I love it.
DJ Wells
Is it overwhelming at all? I mean, obviously you're probably getting used to it now with you being a star, but, like, is it ever get overwhelming where you just walk out? Like WrestleMania. Yeah. That many people in there are just all looking at you and your theme music. And then you got to, like, balance between, like, the crowd, the music, and then going to actual wrestle.
Podcast Host
It can be. It can be. But I'm at a point where it's kind of like you gonna get what you get. Like, by the time my music hits or I'm walking out if I don't got it, it's like you're done. Like, you're done. So you just have to have that mindset like you gonna get what you get. What's more overwhelming is the travel and like we're probably home one to two days a week. When I was a tag team champ, I worked Raw, smackdown, and nxt. So I only literally I traveled Thursdays, worked Fridays, came home Saturdays, left Sundays, worked Monday, came home Tuesday was off, Wednesday left Thursday, and that was my schedule.
DJ Wells

Oikos presents 15 Seconds of Strength. Here we go. Steve's got a trunk full of groceries.
DJ Wells
And no one to help him. Oh, that's tough. Jim looks like a five trip load at least. He grabs the first bag, the second bob. It looks like he's trying to do it all one trip. He shimmies the door open, steps over the dog.
Jim
Oh, and he stumbles.
DJ Wells
Oh, right into the kitchen without missing a beat. Jim. Now that's a man who eats his protein packed Oikos.
Jim
With 15 grams of complete protein in each cup. Oikos Triple Zero can help build strength for every day. Oikos stronger makes everything better.
Podcast Host
That's. And we have no off season. Every other sport has an off season. This is year round and we go overseas, comeback, have to wrestle in all kind of time zones and it doesn't matter, like you have to perform. So that part is the taxing part. I wouldn't say the overwhelming part is going out there. I think that's the part was like you look around, you're like, this is why I do this.
DJ Wells
You gotta truly love it because that's what it was. Crazy.
Jim
Two days a week and then you.
DJ Wells
Got your personal life, you know what I'm saying? Balance and family and everything else you got going on.
Jim
How did your face start off on a match day?
Podcast Host
What? I get up, I stretch, I meditate because me too. You have to meditate. As you get older, you'll understand, like, yes, Your peace and silence means so much. So I meditate, like I said. I stretch, I do some abs, I lift a little, go to the ring, hit the ropes a little bit, pray, get my makeup done, get fine, and I'm ready to go.
Jim
Damn.
Podcast Host
That's it.
DJ Wells
Like, how often do you lift?
Podcast Host
Five days a week.
Jim
No, you didn't listen.
Podcast Host
And I have to find those to like that time to lift weight. That's what I was trying to like traveling. It's a lot, but you do it tired.
Jim
Damn. You got a hobby?
Podcast Host
That's my hobby. That's my hobby. Well, I do have a hobby, and it's. It's very morbid. Don't judge me. I love historical cemeteries.
DJ Wells
We. That silence was judgment.
Podcast Host
I know. That was very his face.
Jim
I thought you.
DJ Wells
Why you judging her? You know what I was about to say? I was like, oh, you went to the one in D.C. the historical black Museum. She said, cemetery. I said it wasn't. Are you like. Are you in a Halloween?
Podcast Host
I love Halloween. It's my favorite Halloween. I love it.
Jim
You gotta explain this. This hobby, though, it's.
Podcast Host
Don't knock it until you try it. You probably never. You probably won't try it.
Jim
I walk around. It's Crown Hill Cemetery.
Podcast Host
You have to go to it.
Jim
I walk around. What up, cuz? They got you too soon?
DJ Wells
My.
Podcast Host
Stop holding down like that. It's not like that. It's not like that.
Jim
They want to see my grandma.
Podcast Host
I'm mature right now. That's why you can't tell black people certain things. This is how it goes.
DJ Wells
This is how it.
Podcast Host
Yes. I was trying to, like, put you on something, but here we go.
Jim
This is for my homies in the Cadillac.
Podcast Host
It's not like that. It's.
DJ Wells
Okay. Can you please explain to me what it is?
Podcast Host
Okay, so you have to start at a nice cemetery, okay. Which is like. The one in Paris is the most famous cemetery in the world. It has Jim Morris. If I name these people, you're not going to know. They have famous poets, they have famous authors, they have famous. All this kind of stuff. So in France, they're big into art. For example, they have somebody who has a tombstone. Like one of the presidents, he passed away. He passed away with one of his mistress riding him. Right? His wife, to get revenge. Literally has his body, like, laying down. He has a heart on. Like, it's all art. Like, I know it's a bad example, but, like, that's just one like, somebody has a camera where you can see. Scan it, and it tells. Like, you can scan it with your phone and it tells you about their entire life. Like, it's. I don't know how. El. It's really freaking. It's so cool. And it's so peaceful. Like, you could be in the city.
DJ Wells
Nothing in there.
Podcast Host
It's so. It's just peaceful. Like. I don't know.
Jim
It's one with the earth.
Podcast Host
Yeah, I guess so. It's very, like, morbid, but it's so beautiful. And like, Jim Morrison's grave is, like, the most famous grave in the world. And it's like, it's so small. It was an unmarked grave at first. Like, he's a famous singer. He was a part of the is it called 26 or 27 Club.
Jim
You know better than me.
Podcast Host
Yeah, it's like when you pass away, like. Like Jimi Hendrix, like, all these people that died at a certain age. And he was one of the people that's a part of that club. And his grave is, like, the biggest. And people go up and kiss it and. Like, somebody's grave, if you kiss it, you'll, you know, have a baby. It's a whole bunch of stuff. So it's. I don't do that stuff. But I.
Jim
You ain't got. You ain't got there yet. You still young.
Podcast Host
No, I've only kissed one grave. And that sounds so insane. But it was Jimi Hendrix. I'm a huge Jimi Hendrix fan. But that was it. Don't judge.
DJ Wells
Well, that was.
Podcast Host
Don't judge the guy.
Jim
This is why we pod. Jon.
Podcast Host
Don't knock it until you try it.
Jim
No, we don't.
Podcast Host
Anti.
DJ Wells
Stratton doesn't stand a chance.
Podcast Host
No, if I show you pictures. If I showed you pictures, you'd be like, damn, that's pretty cool. But don't knock it until you try it. I would never. I would never tell y' all nothing ever again. We're okay. Let's just stay.
DJ Wells
Don't stand a chance.
Jim
No, she don't.
DJ Wells
She's literally kissing Grace.
Jim
To bury that, you know, we gotta find out.
DJ Wells
That's a wild search, but shout out to Buddy, you know what I'm saying? Who went out. You know what I'm saying?
Podcast Host
He's trying. I gotta. Now I have to know.
DJ Wells
Whitney Houston.
Jim
I didn't know you could kiss grays and stuff.
DJ Wells
You gonna go see Whitney?
Podcast Host
Yeah, it's a thing.
DJ Wells
But where Mike at?
Jim
She's in Jersey.
DJ Wells
You didn't go up there? Whitney.
Podcast Host
Mike.
DJ Wells
Whitney.
Podcast Host
No, I'M too busy at least here.
DJ Wells
But yeah, you go.
Jim
You can go on one of them off days.
Podcast Host
I try. I have to go usually. So sometimes I go before the shows because I have a little time early in the morning after I work out.
DJ Wells
Listen. YouTube channel, Tap in with Jay. That's a new show. Yeah, that's a new for real travel channel.
Jim
That is a channel, I'm telling you, minutes away. Oh, wow.
Podcast Host
See, we should go for real.
DJ Wells
Would you go with us?
Podcast Host
I'll go in the morning.
DJ Wells
Yo, we're going.
Jim
We're on that.
DJ Wells
We're going to Whitney's.
Podcast Host
Is there anybody else in that cemetery? Cuz usually if it's one, it's a.
DJ Wells
It's Cece in there too.
Podcast Host
Is he the chronic relation?
DJ Wells
God bless. Under be here, boy.
Jim
I mean, to kill you.
DJ Wells
I only know how many times he killed big Mark Henry. Yeah, I just know that's our big.
Jim
Christina.
DJ Wells
Who. I don't like that, bro.
Jim
Oh, yeah. Bury the family next to each other.
Podcast Host
That makes sense.
Jim
Bury me next to Jeff or Jeff next to me.
DJ Wells
I don't want to be by you, bro.
Podcast Host
We can just go make a quick.
DJ Wells
Yeah, we're going to slide, but let's go. Slide the wheel.
Podcast Host
No, they're not, but you guys should check it out. It's just one time to a nice one. Don't go to like one that you see on the corner. Go to one that's really, really nice.
DJ Wells
Don't go to the broke ass cemeteries. Go to the couple.
Podcast Host
But it's a bad example. You guys say, what the hell am I doing here?
DJ Wells
I'm going.
Podcast Host
We're going to Whitney.
DJ Wells
We're going.
Podcast Host
There's one in Philadelphia that's really nice. The Hollywood cemetery out in la. That's nice.
DJ Wells
Yeah, for sure.
Jim
We motivated. No, we know.
Podcast Host
He already judged me.
Jim
I felt ass. I was serious.
DJ Wells
I'm interested though, because I don't know.
Jim
I don't know shit about wrestling. I like knowing, like the type of people y' all are.
DJ Wells
You should look at Crown Hill. He was joking at first, but Crown Hill is like a, like, hometown. Indianapolis is like a really big series.
Podcast Host
Is it night? Like, who's in there?
DJ Wells
There's some presidents in cities.
Jim
Martin King, James Wilcombe.
Podcast Host
Is he done? Huh? You don't live in Atlanta.
Jim
Nah.
Podcast Host
Yeah, that's in Indianapolis.
Jim
Nah, he got two of.
Podcast Host
I'm talking to you guys now. I don't know what's his problem. He's having a ball.
DJ Wells
Listen, that's what's my favorite part of the Show Moments with Child. Moments with Child, please. Okay, we get to ask you this question, obviously, superstar status. When you first made through that first threshold, you broke through for wrestling, what did you spend some money on? What'd you go crazy with? Not nothing responsible. Not take care of the family. Not. You know what I'm saying? Going to buy a house. What'd you. You know what I'm saying? Big purchase. Went crazy with.
Podcast Host
I've always had money.
DJ Wells
Oh, talk about it.
Podcast Host
So.
Jim
J, now with the first goddamn dos. No, I don't do broke shit or broke cemeteries.
Podcast Host
On some real. On some real stuff. All my checks go to my daughter. Like, it really goes to my daughter and her tuition and everything like that. I rarely spent anything that I get from this company.
DJ Wells
Dang.
Jim
That's a little.
DJ Wells
That's the way to live. Yeah. I gotta figure out my life.
Jim
You got an ELO deal. I see you got the ELOs on.
Podcast Host
No, but I need y' all to.
Jim
Y' all tap in.
Podcast Host
Love it. Love it. It looks good on me. Right?
Jim
I like the loads. Yeah, for sure. It's a good brand.
DJ Wells
Listen, tap in, it's reasonable, too. They sell me in clothing.
Jim
They do.
DJ Wells
They do pretty good.
Podcast Host
Yeah. That's where like a bra and some shorts.
Jim
No, the T shirt. The T shirt is some shorts.
Podcast Host
That's what I said.
DJ Wells
That's what you want to wear? That's okay.
Podcast Host
That's that old man talk, the two piece.
DJ Wells
Yeah. With the lemon pepper.
Jim
With nothing under.
DJ Wells
We don't need no lemon.
Podcast Host
All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right. He went left again.
DJ Wells
Always.
Podcast Host
We can't even get to the question. Did you just.
Jim
Nah, you had that. You had a stun on us. So. About your child moment. I always had money. Damn.
DJ Wells
My child moment. My whole life. I love it.
Podcast Host
Hey. Hey.
DJ Wells
Now, I want to ask you a wrestling question because we are here for SummerSlam. Yes, we are. But, like, what was that moment like, when you entered the WWE and like, we know I knew you from the other company, and you coming in, you had a big name coming from the other company. When you finally got here, what was that like? Did everybody embrace you? Was it love or was it a little hate? What was it like from the other women in the locker room?
Podcast Host
It was love. They wanted to work with me. They know that. They knew that I came here to get better, and they knew that I came here to be a legend. Like there's nothing else. There's no other place I'm going. I'm become a legend. And they want to help as much as they can because they want to do nothing but elevate the locker room.
DJ Wells
Facts. Facts.
Jim
What?
Podcast Host
No, I'm just.
Jim
I'm ready. You get your story. I love the origin story.
Podcast Host
But as far as the fans, it was great. I was scared. I was nervous when I came out for the Royal Rumble because I didn't know what kind of reaction I would get if they were like, oh, we tired of this girl. Like, gosh, it's been so long. Or if they. I just didn't know what type of reaction. Cuz fans can love you one day and they can hate you one day, then they can love you one day and they can hate you one day. So I just, I was like, okay, well whatever I get, I'll just roll with it. If I come out, they boo me. That's what I'll be for sure.
DJ Wells
We as I roll Rumble too. But I want to ask, how do you balance that? Cause you have such a. Like you said, WWE has such a crazy fan base and you individually have a fan base. And sometimes those collide, sometimes they ain't on the same page. Does that affect you mentally wise? Cause obviously you're doing something that's in front of everybody and you probably hear some of these opinions even when you don't want to.
Podcast Host
It can get to you sometimes. But I listen to people who have done what I've done and who wish me well. So everybody else can kiss my ass because they've never lived in my shoes a day in my life. Like, they can probably can't even do a push up. And so I could care less about how they.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Go out there.
Podcast Host
And that's so. Because if you let people creep into your mind, it gets bigger. It's bigger. And you have. You're one person. Yeah, you're one person. And you have to respect and love yourself and be gentle with yourself. You know, it all comes like. I feel like God would never give you anything you couldn't bear.
Jim
I agree.
DJ Wells
Most definitely. This is like a full circle moment for us because I know Tig was early on trying to get you on the show for us to have this moment right here.
Jim
What's one of your most memorable matches.
DJ Wells
Though, or favorite moments?
Podcast Host
I don't know. You know, when I have questions that are asked like that we have so many ples. Which are pay per views. Like back to back to back. Like we go to Paris in two weeks. Even at Wrestlemania or when I won the tag titles or even right now. I don't have time to really sit in it because it's like, off to the next, off to the next. And you're, like, focused before you know, it's here in your face. And you're like, damn. Like, SummerSlam is Saturday. Whoa.
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
I don't have one yet.
DJ Wells
Elimination chamber for me.
Podcast Host
I. Okay. I would say that because I was coming back from an injury and I didn't know what I was coming back. And so it took a lot because me being an athlete, I've never been injured in my life. And so I've had, like, a bone bruise, and I still play through that or, like, you know, you play hurt. Whatever. Whatever. But this was something that I had to sit out, and that was the first time. And that can mess with you mentally. And that's when fans, when they came, I was like, because there's nothing I can do. I can't go out there, show you. I have to just take it, take it, take it. And I couldn't say anything. So it's just like, that was taxing. But elimination chamber, I would say, because I had a lot to prove right then and there. And I was excited to be back. And it was kind of out of the blue. I wasn't even in shape yet. But I guess that the crowd reaction for that in our storyline.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Storyline was fire.
Podcast Host
Thank you.
DJ Wells
So if y' all ain't know the storyline, I could tell y' all talk to us, too. She had a real injury. Like, she just said, what's your tears?
Podcast Host
I didn't tear anything. It was more of a neck injury that could have been, like, led to surgery, but I didn't need it. Well, I didn't need it. Eventually I will. Like all wrestlers do.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Jim
Yeah.
DJ Wells
Damn. But she was tagging with Bianca Belair while I was telling you about, and basically the storyline was that Naomi was hating.
Podcast Host
Crazy girl. Naomi.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Insane shout out to Naomi. Crazy girl.
Jim
Which one was it?
DJ Wells
Proceed with caution, though. Proceed.
Podcast Host
He just had to get that in there, didn't he? I ain't hear my catchphrase yet.
DJ Wells
I mean, storm is coming. Okay.
Podcast Host
There we go.
DJ Wells
I am that.
Podcast Host
Okay.
DJ Wells
Questionable words. I know everything. Like, I'm really tapping. I'm really.
Jim
He really is. He really is.
Podcast Host
I love that.
DJ Wells
Yeah. Because I think the women's division is, like, the best division right now. They showed up. They put out the best matches. Yeah. So I'm looking forward to seeing who.
Jim
Was the little girl going crazy in Roy Rumble? The little white girl that was going inside.
DJ Wells
The strong one.
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
I forgot Jordan Grace.
Jim
It was a little Spanish. I mean, Chinese one, too.
Podcast Host
Well, Iyo.
DJ Wells
Oh, you talking about. Yeah.
Jim
EO was hard.
Podcast Host
Oh, my God.
DJ Wells
She was more cool. She was in a triple threat match.
Podcast Host
Let me tell you. And to be honest, I feel like she tones it down.
Jim
For real.
Podcast Host
I feel like she does because when she was at stardom in Japan.
Jim
Yeah.
Podcast Host
If you see her old stuff, it's insane, and she does not even half of her moveset.
Jim
She's a hell of an athlete.
Podcast Host
Oh, my gosh, she's amazing. I can't wait to have a match.
Jim
That was my first match. 1. No, first WWE experience, whatever with them. And I said, damn, that right there.
Podcast Host
What? She is great.
Jim
She owns some.
Podcast Host
What?
DJ Wells
I ain't gonna hold you. He's a tough critic, but he says the women's matches wore him over. For real.
Jim
That's what. See, I'm not no hater. I fuck with y'.
Podcast Host
All.
Jim
I really do. I'm a joke with everybody, but I really with you because I kept telling. I said these women. I don't know. Like, I know we got to wait on some shit, but y' all hella entertaining, though, for sure.
Podcast Host
Thank you. We try to put on when we have the time and try to capitalize off the time that we're given.
Jim
Yeah.
DJ Wells
I like looking at you and Bianca, like, who's stronger? Y' all both so powerful in the ring.
Podcast Host
He tries. He tried.
DJ Wells
He tried.
Podcast Host
Me. I am.
DJ Wells
You sure?
Podcast Host
Me, like, she's strong, but I'm stronger.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Jim
I with her, but she act like you, bruh. Facts.
DJ Wells
That's like, he. He's stronger than everybody. Stroking. Respect. Respect.
Jim
What you expect her to say, though?
DJ Wells
Like, what I'm saying, they might have really lived together before, and she like.
Podcast Host
Nah, I don't think so. No, we haven't. We haven't.
DJ Wells
They was tag partners. I mean, I'mma ask some questions.
Jim
I want to ask this because I. Like, I said they be putting me on the wrestling. Do. Do the beefs be, like, for real once y' all done wrestling? Like, is it people that you be like, you can't stand?
Podcast Host
You should watch our new show unscripted.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Podcast Host
That's all I have to say.
DJ Wells
Yeah.
Jim
All right. Because I do want to know, like, is it really, like, a.
Podcast Host
It's very entertaining. It just dropped, I believe, this week.
DJ Wells
Yeah. I was gonna say he been tapped in. Jamie, y'. All.
Jim
Oh, yeah.
DJ Wells
Shout out to Jamie.
Jim
Shout out to Jamie.
Podcast Host
Like, it'll show you the different layers to wrestling, and that is not just about the moves. Because people think we just go out there, like, just do the moves. It's so many different layers to wrestling. And that's why when people say they think they can do it, it's like, okay, but you can't. But all right.
DJ Wells
Yeah, I'm gonna stick with hooping.
Jim
I would never.
Podcast Host
Well, that's because we. We bring in celebrities and people see celebrities do it, and they're like, okay. Like, it's easy.
Jim
But I seen how they did ISO speed at Royal Rumble.
DJ Wells
My boy got.
Podcast Host
I didn't see. I think he got hurt. Not hurt, but like, yeah, cool.
Jim
They had him up in the air.
DJ Wells
I killed him. Yeah, I'm cool.
Podcast Host
Best sphere.
DJ Wells
If I could be a part wwe, I want to be Lavar Ball. He got up there and wild him. And Melo was wilding. Listen, man, we having too much fun. We're gonna have to do this again. Most definitely gotta do this again. We wish you luck on your match, man.
Podcast Host
Yeah, I don't need luck. That's what I do.
DJ Wells
We're gonna be watching.
Podcast Host
We watch what I do.
DJ Wells
I can't wait to celebrate before we get out of here.
Jim
I'll be there for a row.
DJ Wells
Be hitting so the people chance.
Jim
You better whoop her motherfucking ass. J. Talking all that shit.
Podcast Host
Please, I don't stand where you sitting.
Jim
Third roll.
Podcast Host
That's too far back.
DJ Wells
Well, listen here.
Podcast Host

Podcast Summary: Club Shay Shay – Episode Club 520 featuring Jade Cargill
Podcast Information
The episode kicks off with DJ Wells and Jim welcoming Jade Cargill, WWE Superstar and Queen of the Ring, to the show.
[04:26] DJ Wells:
"We back another episode of Club520 podcast. I'm your host. My name is DJ Wells. We live at SummerSlam with it. So it's only right we got a superstar wiz. But we are going to introduce her last."
Jade delves into her background in college basketball, highlighting her dedication and the challenges she faced during her athletic career.
[08:22] Jim:
"Did you stop playing, like, after your senior year?"
[08:27] Jade Cargill:
"No, I went overseas for two years to Le Havre in France. So I did that. But women especially. When I graduated in 2014, we didn't make anything. Like, we barely made anything. And so especially being overseas, I didn't make anything. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna come back. And I got my master's in child psychology, and I did that."
[09:42] Jim:
"That's dope."
Jade discusses her unexpected transition from basketball to professional wrestling, facilitated by WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry.
[14:56] Jim:
"So how'd you get into wrestling?"
[14:59] Jade Cargill:
"Mark Henry had found me the hall of Fame. Henry, I love him to death. That's like my wrestling dad. He was like, you ever thought about wrestling? I laughed out loud because I was like, wrestling. Like, who wrestles? Like, I haven't watched wrestling since I was, like, 12, because I used to love it. And so I went to a tryout, did amazing. Ended up going to another company, and I had my debut match with Cody Rose, who is our champion, and Shaquille O'Neal was my partner."
Jade shares her admiration for influential female wrestlers who inspired her confidence and strength.
[16:23] Jade Cargill:
"China, Jazz, and Jacqueline. Growing up, like, I'm from the hood, I didn't see a lot of women that look, like, super built and look like that. And I was picked on growing up because I was so muscular. But I saw these women, and I was like, damn. They look great. They have so much confidence, they're walking out there, they don't give a damn who you are, what you're about. They gonna show you what they're about. I was just like, yeah, I like that. I have to embody that."
Jade recounts her experiences performing at major WWE events, emphasizing the electrifying atmosphere and her growth as a performer.
[17:32] Jim:
"Speaking of WrestleMania, I wanted to ask you, what was that like? You know, being at WrestleMania. Your first WrestleMania."
[17:38] Jade Cargill:
"That's my second WrestleMania. It was great. The crowd is electric. For me, the bigger the crowd, the more I can embody my character. The smaller the crowd where I'm like, damn, am I doing this right? But the bigger the crowd, the more I come alive."
Jade speaks about the demanding travel schedule of a WWE Superstar and how she manages her personal life alongside her professional commitments.
[23:13] Jim:
"How did your face start off on a match day?"
[23:16] Jade Cargill:
"I get up, I stretch, I meditate because you have to meditate. As you get older, you'll understand, like, yes, your peace and silence means so much. So I meditate, I stretch, I do some abs, I lift a little, go to the ring, hit the ropes a little bit, pray, get my makeup done, get fine, and I'm ready to go."
Jade reflects on some of her most memorable matches, including her return from an injury, and the mental resilience required to continue excelling in WWE.
[35:23] DJ Wells:
"What's one of your most memorable matches or favorite moments?"
[35:24] Jade Cargill:
"I would say the Elimination Chamber because I was coming back from an injury and I had a lot to prove. I was excited to be back, even though I wasn't in shape yet. The crowd reaction was incredible and the storyline added so much depth to the match."
Jade praises the current state of the WWE Women's Division, highlighting the high level of competition and the quality of matches.
[37:08] DJ Wells:
"I like looking at you and Bianca, like, who's stronger? Y'all both so powerful in the ring."
[37:13] Jim:
"She owns some."
[37:17] Jade Cargill:
"I am that. I love that the women's division is the best division right now. They put out the best matches, and I'm looking forward to seeing who comes next."
Towards the end of the episode, Jade discusses her aspirations within WWE and hints at upcoming storylines and matches.
[39:25] Jade Cargill:
"We have different layers to wrestling, and it's not just about the moves. There are so many different layers, and that's why when people say they think they can do it, it's like, okay, but you can't. But alright."
[40:22] Jade Cargill:
"We’re going to celebrate before we get out of here. We wish you luck on your match, man."
[40:26] Jim:
"I'll be there for a row."
[40:29] DJ Wells:
"You're going to have to do this again. Most definitely gotta do this again. We wish you luck on your match, man."
[40:33] Jade Cargill:
"Please, I don't stand where you sitting."
Jade Cargill on Transition to WWE:
"[14:59] 'Wrestling... I went to a tryout, did amazing.'”
On Role Models:
"[16:23] 'They have so much confidence, they're walking out there, they don't give a damn who you are.'”
On Wrestling Characters:
