C
I'm doing amazing. My good brother Debo.
A
Ditto. Ditto man. I'm doing amazing too, man. I had a good time this weekend, man. I was out here at the Monroeville Convention center, man. Hey yeah, did a sign in the couple, you know, did a couple, couple days signing, man. The fans came out. They show love, man. I show love.
C
Yeah. Yeah. All that we gonna get.
A
You know, and I. I was talking to. I was talking to this little girl, man.
C
And. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw you. I saw you do the interview with your girl. I saw you.
A
Why you trying to. Why are you trying to speedball me? Why you.
C
Why you trying to.
A
Guess who didn't give me the Js, though.
C
You didn't get those J, man. You got the J, man.
A
Didn't those.
C
Those were over. Those were over your 12s too, that you had on straight joints. You know, brother, you know, I know the shoes. I know everything. I'm hip. The shoes you had on were fresh. The video with the little girl, she had on the number 4 DK Metcalf jersey. I peeped you, Debo. I be watching you, my brother. But that's neither here nor there. We're going to talk about that after the fact that we talk about.
A
Listen, man, I'm trying to. I'm trying to show fans love, man. Because that's what it is. This is about.
C
It's good stuff. Yeah.
A
Still this nation.
C
Yeah.
A
Showed up and showed out.
C
Okay. They sure did.
A
That's what I'm talking about. Okay, now we got Aaron Rodgers on the 1.
C
No, no, no, no, no, no. We gonna talk about Arab, but we gotta go first to the Calves. First Cavs. Real quick. First Cat.
A
What is Cavs? Do they play. Is that a new football team? That's. New one in the league. That's new. That's new team coming to the league for football, Debo.
C
That's a. That's. That's. That's a basketball team that we were talking about. We were talking about Detroit in this quick. Basketball. You see me.
A
Hold on, hold on.
C
What you're talking about. We're talking about championship. Talking about winning titles.
A
Basketball.
C
Basketball titles.
A
Basketball. We're talking about basketball. All right, let's talk about basketball, then.
C
Yes. That's what we gonna do for sure at the top. Because it's still off season. They got optional workouts going on with football. Still basketball, we're trying to win more rings. Trying to bring more rings to the land. Because you was talking all that Detroit, all that Little Caesar's Arena. But I ain't gonna lie to you, Deebo. You had me shook. Game six. Cause when I expected it to go, it didn't go the way I expected. So I was hoping and praying that it went down, that we had game seven. It went down. So we could come back to this show and I could let you know we're advancing. You're not so I'm gonna give flowers and.
A
Who is we, bro? Listen, I told you, I ain't a Detroit fan. I'm just against Cleveland.
C
Okay, well, whatever, man.
A
Listen, this is what I'm gonna do, man. I'm cold in the D. Listen, man, I'm gonna give a peace offering. Here go my peace offering.
C
What's up?
A
Pittsburgh ain't got no basketball team.
C
They don't.
A
The closest thing is Cleveland, right up the street. I'm from Akron, Ohio.
C
You are?
A
AK Rowdy Roddy, west side, Summer County.
C
Yes.
A
So this is what I'm gonna do for you.
C
Come on, Debo.
A
It's gonna kill my soul to root.
C
No, it's not. You from.
A
Hey, I'm gonna tell you right now. Listen, listen, listen. This is what you gonna have to do. You gonna have. You have to remind me, all right? I'm. I'm starting a new thing. You know what I'm saying?
C
Because you don't even do basketball.
A
Hey, listen, listen. It's the new. I do.
C
I do a little bit of basketball. I do a little bit of basketball, but.
A
All right, but it's a new thing. It's a new thing. Room for Cleveland, okay? So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna try and root from. Okay? I'm trying my best.
C
Yeah.
A
Trying to stay on. I'm gonna try and stay on, like, straight, but I'm. You know, it's new, okay? It's like starting your walk with the Lord, but this is a lot worse because I got some hate for them. I love the Lord. Just dislike. I ain't gonna say, hey, hate a strong word. I got some dislike.
C
Just rock with me.
A
I'm roll with you.
C
I'm gonna roll with you, but I'm
A
gonna tell you, right. Listen, listen, listen. You're gonna have to. Hey, remember, you. You rolling with us now, you got to remind me, because I'm. I'm liable to crash out, okay?
C
Yeah, that's the thing. I'm gonna keep you real balanced, you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna let you know what's going on. I'm gonna give honest takes because Game 6 was crazy. We got bullied out there in Little Caesar's Arena. Detroit came out there and Ball K. Cunningham, all of his other talent, too. My man. What's my man name? Avery.
A
Listen, I'm gonna tell you right now, man, they was dapping up each other, like, with their elbows, and they was eating that Little Caesar piece.
C
They tried to get physical or a quarter.
A
They was doing that to y'. All.
C
Game 7. We won by 31. Donovan Mitchell came out there dishing the ball to everybody the way he needed to. Jerry Allen, Mobley, James Harden, Struse.
A
How long was they in the bonus?
C
How long was they in the bonus? What you mean?
A
The whole damn game?
C
Hope. Debo, listen, don't worry about.
A
Man, listen.
C
We was not flopping. We was out there being more physical.
A
We.
C
Defensive rebounds, turnovers. Jared Allen was hooping, mobily hooping when our big men are balling. And Donovan Mitchell was getting them involved early. He had more assists than he knew. He averaged three assists a game. He had.
A
Y' all was stopping more than did when he broke that in. Man, stop it.
C
I don't want to hear that. So, long story short, we got. We up against the Knicks now, Deebo. And that's a whole. Nother. That's a whole.
A
Can you. Can you just please acknowledge the fact that. That there was. It was some flopping going. Yeah, okay.
C
Thank you.
A
All right.
C
Thank you.
A
That's all I need.
C
That's the NBA that we're looking at now. That's all everybody's doing. Put everybody. All that. Everybody's pushing off to get open. Everybody's just doing this joint like it's nothing. They're stiff arming on offense. It's the offensive game. There's so many offensive fouls every time. They're pushing off every play. So we're doing the same thing. That's why I'm. Donovan Mitchell, he be doing his push off. James Harden does his push offs. I just don't like y' all the
A
only one pushing off.
C
No. Heck no. Cunningham does the joint, too. He got an offensive foul on him one time. But Kate Cunningham does it. And I'm not trying to knock it. Shay, Gil, Alexander, Jalen, Brunson. The ball is everybody they're using to push off of the left arm for sure. I'm not mad at it. What I don't like is James Harden. When you shoot your left hand tray ball, don't kick your feet out. Don't kick your feet out and just flop it. That's.
A
Before I start going Cleveland. Before I start going Cleveland. Let me tell you this, though.
C
What's up?
A
And you gotta meet sga. It's gonna be smoking the city.
C
It's gonna be smoking the city. I completely understand that. I'm just saying we gonna get. We have to beat. We gotta beat these Knicks. The Knicks are nice. Brunson's nice.
A
I don't know if I could do this. I swear. I don't know if I could do this. It's something in me. I don't know what it is.
C
This one, I'm telling you. Just get ready to watch this. There's four teams left. We got the spurs playing okc.
A
It's heavy on my heart.
C
The spurs were beating them during the regular season, so it's gonna be a battle over there. Whoever makes it from the west, they're favored to win it regardless. US versus The Knicks. You are us. Debo, you are us. You are the Cleveland, you are with me. Me, Donovan, Mitchell, Mowgli island okay, Support

Let's go.
A
Let's go Hoop team basketball.
C
Let's go.
A
Let's do it. I ain't gonna say nothing about what happened when they showed the whole script and all that because they got mad at me because I told the script and then they changed it up. And then they showed the world. And that's why. Listen, I'm gonna tell you. Listen, listen. I'm just saying, man. That's why they got blew out so bad. They was like, oh, now y' all changed the script on us. They was just, you know, they was. They was like deflated, bro. They was like, now we gotta lose. They was trying to pull. They were supposed to keep it close, but they didn't. It was like 31 now.
C
So I'm just saying, bro, because they gave us. They beat it. Y' all beat us.
A
I'm just saying.
C
6. So we had to come and put belt to s. It's all good.
A
I'm just telling you, man, that's sometimes that's how it's happened, man. Because I ain't gonna lie to you, man. Like, you know, I had to follow the script one time, man. The super bowl lost, you know, I
C
ain't gonna, you know, Zibo, you're lying.
A
I'm just saying.
C
You're lying. You lying. They ain't telling you what to do out there. You trying to win. Don't see you T. Bo. That's what I'm telling you. Get the line sometimes. And that's what's your credibility get to get in favor. Because that's not you. You get the line, you be telling the truth, dabbling in the lies.
A
Hey, listen, man, anybody think this is scripting you out of your rabbit ass mind.
C
I ain't gotta be nobody.
A
Come on, man, nobody.
C
I'm. You cannot telling me that. I'm trying to get a pick. Would the script tell me, can I get a pick every play? Hey, I'm getting beat on any play. If I'm getting beat on any play, I'm not going with the script. I'm not going with that.
A
No.
C
He gonna have to show crazy.
A
No, Joe. Now we can finally stop talking about all the people talking about, yes, Aaron Rodgers.
C
What he go do? What he ain't gonna do. He's here.
A
Aaron Rodgers.
C
He's here.
A
Signed a one year deal or will sign a one year deal with the Steelers. They say the deal is worth up to 25 million, including a base salary between 22 and 23 million with a few million in incentives. Distillers voluntary off season practices begin today. Aaron Rogers is expected to be there. Actually, don't. It started. Did it start already? It should have started already. Did he come? We go find out.
C
Yes.
A
Rogers didn't commit to the Steelers, I guess until last year. Well, we knew after the Mandatory mini camp in June this year. He will be there early. Joe.
C
Yes.
A
Come on, bro.
C
Come on, Debo. What you first started thinking?
A
How you feeling, Joe? Joe, when we first started, man, we told them boys, we said, aaron Rogers is not coming back for the same price that he played for. Yes. Okay? He outplayed that contract. And without him, I 100 believe we don't get a 500 record. So, yeah, man rightfully wants to be paid the value that reflects that now. Or I was a thought process that like, yo, when he went on the Pat McAfee show, he's telling me like, yo, ain't gave me nothing to look at. They ain't. They ain't showed me nothing. So I have nothing to make a decision on. On, you know, what I'm going to do as far as my decision to be in the Steeler or blah, blah, blah, blah. So the Steelers went and said, hey, man, we go put this special, this special tender on you, and you can get 15 million. And I said, then Aaron Rodgers is not coming back for 15 million. And I believe 100 that before he came back with 15 million, he would retire before he did that. But what that deal did was it made Aaron have to come to the table and they had to start talking. Okay. They have discussions because now the Steelers gave him a number. He's like, yo, I ain't really, you know, the number that I'm looking for or the number that I'm able to come back for.
C
Okay.
A
They sit down, they talk with your bottom line still say, all right, what's your top line? You know? And then some way they come together and they came to what the number was that they've agreed upon. He gets, he wants and we get what we want.
B
Yes.
A
But with Aaron back, it's a little added bonus. Now, the young one drew out who didn't get any time with, hey, he gets time away right now. He gets to be under the veteran leadership. The experience, you know, of a future hall of Famer, along with that, it's a plus and a negative. But will Howard, he gets another year, but it's going to slow down his own field game time and experience and all that, but the knowledge and information that, you know he's going to get or acquire, like having him for another year, I feel like that's priceless. Yeah, sure.
C
Do you have to rush it? You don't have to rush it.
A
Right. Right now. Aaron Rodgers obviously gives us the best opportunity to get the most out of our team.
C
Yes.
A
And potentially catch lightning in the bottom. Potentially catch lightning in the bottom. Great. Okay. Which will give guys like Cam. Cam Hayward, Chris Boswell, Jalen Ramsey, opportunity to get a championship.
C
Thousand percent.
A
I know they want it. You know, that's. That's the only accolade that some of them are missing in their careers. So as for me, I love it.
C
Yeah.
A
Like I've been telling y' all listening, I wasn't worried about what was gonna happen on the offensive side because we were going to be able to be protective and run the ball well. So we'll be able to protect the ball. Don't turn the ball over and be able to run the ball. So now we got a rock. For sure, for sure, for sure. He did last year. Okay. At 42, 43, whatever it is.
C
42. Turning 43.
A
At 42, turning 43. Listen, if Aaron Rodgers is able to get out there, brother, and catch that lightning in the bottom and win a Super bowl championship and what is more likely than not his last year in the NFL, Bro, that's storybook. That's what you're looking for, bro.
C
He's looking for the storybook, man.
A
But, hey, Joe, I will say this, though.
C
Yes.
A
If it happens and Aaron does win another championship, I think it's going to be difficult, if not damn near impossible, for him to retire, especially if they win it in the fashion in which I believe the record should be. Because now in your head, you have to be thinking it's an opportunity to repeat. Okay.
C
You know, this was. Okay, Debo. Okay. I hear him with the repeating. I'm hearing everything.
A
Okay.
C
I'm trying to go with this. This year first, you going to the future, winning the Super Bowl. We're going. Best case scenario, we were all talking the same talk right now. I'm super happy that finally Aaron Rodgers is. There's no gray. The Steelers, the whole time, knew they were talking with Aaron Rodgers. They were in communications. They had the plan going on. So in my standpoint, as far as, like, doing it with the media, answering all these questions, just trying to bring stuff up, but they. The Steelers were never wavering in what they felt. They were always expecting him and hoping him to sign early, but they were always in communication, always, never wavered, bringing in talent, doing everything they had to do. So now, just for me, in an organizational standpoint, kudos to the Steelers. He signed earlier than he did last year. We're asking all of these questions about what a rod. I'm like, he didn't come. None of the OTAs, none of these camps. He was right before training camp in June. So now for them to it was just a lot going on. So for him to sign before OTAs, optional OTAs, this is before he did last year. This is a whole earlier situation. So now it's a better situation than it was last season. All of that quarterback controversy talk. The Steelers were in their same position when you talk about the money and I wasn't really thinking about it as much at the time, but a Rod when they sent him out the 15 and then him to get the 22 with option up to 25, that makes him the 17th highest paid quarterback in the NFL. And when you look at it, I'm like perfect. That's fine. Everybody else under Aaron Rodgers is on their rookie contracts, you know what I'm saying? Besides Malik Willis is the only one. He's making $22 million a year. A rod signed basically the same thing with incentives to go up to 25. So everybody else is under that. So it's just that's the money speaks for what it is. We're going to get a rod at 17th highest paid quarterback in the league. You got dudes like it goes Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Jordan Love, Trevor Lawrence, Jared Goff, Brock Purdy, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Deshaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes, Daniel Jones making 44, Sam Darnold making 33, Baker Mayfield making 33. So all those quarterbacks and then you make the jump from there to Fernando Mendoza making $14 million a year. So that 25 support for the show

I've had a quarterback for Aaron Rodgers that's not on the rookie deal. All those other guys, smooth. They're making 33, he's making 22 with an option of 25. Boom. Now we have Aaron Rodgers on this team. And when you're saying best case scenarios, they were building this team to be successful without Aaron Rodgers. We have him here now on the team knowing that we're going to have him with Michael Pittman Jr. With DK Metcalf with Fire, Move well with Mount Washington, you know what I'm saying? With Jalen Warren at the running back, with Rico Doddle with the linemen now that we have with the new parts that we have on defense, we're making sure the special teams is going to be where the special teams is going to be. The vision for the Steelers now is, you know, obviously with the talent we had last year is we're running it back with new talent, with new pieces. With Aaron Rodgers knowing that our offense is going to be some of these plays with we can go down the field a little more if our running game is legit. Now these individual matchups, he's going to be able to throw those one on ones. Dk, your year wasn't as good as you wanted to be. You're ready to perform too. I understand. You know, you got some things to prove. So the names that we have on the team and the talent that we have are more and willing and capable to go and perform and do some special things. So now it's like, all right, bet we got a rod on your last this I'm thinking for me, if you saying we win the super bowl, we'll see what happens next year, this is more for me. Final hurrah. Rod. You're going on, you're going to be 43 this year. If you do come back. I mean you. We do have younger quarterbacks. We have pieces, we have a team that's building. So eventually, organizational wise you will want to have these, one of these younger dudes come up because he's not going to be able to play for but so long. You say one more year after this. But it's like then, then when is Drew that's going to be his second year following. It's going to be Will Allen's third year sitting behind him. So it's like when we ever going to be able to. We got to see these dudes to know what they can do at the same time building the team, doing a great job. So I'm with if with this team now with Aaron Rodgers signing, if I'm Cam Hayward, if I'm Jalen Ramsey, you know what I'm saying, If I'm the older vets, dude.
A
Yes. Guys that are in those last years, dude, not to win now we're in
C
the last years of our deal. We're trying to win organizational wise. That's when you want to have for your vets. We're trying to win. Steelers are never really a down year or a low year. You're always still rebuilding. If we lose it, Aaron Rodgers and then we can end up with TJ White, we can be able to move some parts but like we're always having, we don't really have to rebuild. When you have a team, we are always trying to get those players around. So I'm finally, I'm super excited for the Steelers because now it's no, it's no Gray, it's no Lowell. We're going to, we're going to have this team. Players going to have to ball the new coaches, the system, the defense, everybody's going to have to jail. Now with that, that, that one question was, is it going to be Will? Is it going to be Al? Like, do we like him? Coach McCarthy likes both of them. Now we're figuring out who's going to be, who's going to be missing out of that room. Now we got four quarterbacks, you know what I'm saying? So there's different things there. But the biggest point that we got is Aaron Rodgers is signed. Now officially there's no. What are they waiting on him? When is he coming? He didn't sign last year until training camp. We got him now early. So good for the Steelers.
A
Oh yeah, no question. Right. And speaking of that, the quarterback controversy with Aaron Rodgers back, one of the other three quarterbacks will be the odd man out, brother. So I guess according to what's his name, Mike Floor Florio, he believes that the odd man out will be Will Howard. And his reasoning is the Steelers supposedly have strong beliefs in the quarterbacks that they had Mason Rudolph and Will Howard, but he said they then go and draft a quarterback in the third round, Drew Aller. And his belief is that Drew Aller, since he was drafted, that he will be there and Mason Rudolph, since he's a veteran that you need to have, you know, As a backup. If it gets hurt, that's why it'll be aller and. Or why he believes it'll be aller. And Rudolph. Joe, what do you think? Who do you think it will be between Howard and Rudolph?
C
I think that it will be Will Howard. Yeah, I like Mason, but, you know, he's had his stints with the Steelers. He got drafted there third round. He had his chances to see, you know what I'm saying, maximize what he would be able to do while he was out there. I know that we're building a team. It's about the parts around him. But I would see last year when he came out there too, just bruh. Like you kind of immediately came out
A
there and gave it back. Gave it back.
C
I don't like to talk crazy about it, so I think he may. He. I'm not saying he could be out
A
of the league, but how am I talking crazy? I'm stating facts.
C
No, no, no.
A
That's not talking crazy.
C
No, no, no. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. So we're saying the same thing. I think that he is not going to be a suitable starting quarterback if you're trying to win a championship. He is a suit. He could be a backup somewhere in the league for sure. But with the Steelers now, let's see. Drew, you drafted him. You got. You gave Mason starts. He had opportunities to get out there and show what he could do. We know.
A
I understand the backup game with Will.
C
Yeah, I'm going with the younger guys that you drafted. At least see what you got.
A
Because you.
C
I feel like you know what you got.
A
Yeah, I'm. I'm with you in this. I think. I think, I think Mike done. I think he might have. I think he might have sniffed some glue or, or put too much emphasis in the. You know, Mike Florio put too much emphasis in veteran quarterback status. Like this dude, he got what, eight years? He got eight years. He got 18 stars. He nine and nine. A 63. Seven career, you know, completion percentage. I mean, that's not hard to replace. That's average. 28 touchdowns, 20 interceptions. That's not hard to replace.
C
Yeah, like.
A
And then like you said last time he got in the game, first thing he did was turn the rock over, bro. Yeah, like we talking a passer rating? What is it, like a 84, 85, something like that? Like, that's all average numbers. Like. And he has been in the league for eight years as a Career backup. He has not went any further. You telling me that you're going to keep him opposed to two guys that you don't know what they can do and you've seen this is his top. He's not going to get any better.
C
Yep.
A
And then from what he did like last year, hell, he ain't really. What was he in Tennessee? I think he woke nine. Nine interception, nine touchdown. Like, yeah, we're, we're not getting anything from him. He's not going to be enough, especially once Aaron is gone. Like, you keeping him, you're getting rid of one of the other guys, saying, oh, I don't need to see any kind of development from him. You ain't seen nothing from Will. You ain't seen nothing. Like, you ain't seen nothing from Drew. And you're gonna top him off for a dude that been in eight years and this is what he's giving you. Mike Florio is tripping, tripping.
C
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
A
He tripping, tripping, bro.
C
You gotta get them dudes a chance. You got to get the younger guys a chance.
A
Yeah.
C
See what you got.
A
That veteran stuff don't matter.
C
No.
A
If your quarterback is not playing like a veteran,
C
they had that time. Eight, eight years is a. Eight years is a good amount.
A
A long time, bro. And this college numbers was crazy. Like, his college numbers was crazy crazy. And this is what like, yo, he can't even just go and just manage this thing, bro. He go turn it over. Protect the rock, bro.
C
That's it. I'm with it, Debo. I'm with you. I'm. Because we said what we said. Yes, I'm with you. I kick it with me. So I'm like, when we saying that it's just not his time for the Steelers anymore. When you talking about the quarterback position, you're going to be out there. You see, we've had film. We've had legitimate film. That's what I was looking forward to seeing on Drew. To see what it looks like out there. You got to give him a chance to give him some play time. And then when you get out there and you see what it look, believe it or like maybe it's not the right time there. So this, this seven year stint in one organization for sure is. Is a good enough time to see
A
if you've done it for sure, for sure. Look here, man, Coach Brian, man, Deion Sanders, he, he warns the rest of the league that the, the Browns are coming. The Browns are coming. The Browns are coming. What what are they? He said. Look at the rookie class last season, the rookie class this season, who I know they have played, who I know they have played. They haven't played, they haven't played. Put on, put on the grass. But they're building something that is tremendous and they're not too far away. Of course they need to stable, they need stability at the quarterback position. Of course they need stability on the offensive line. Everything else to me they've got it. They got it.

what do you think? They got it. I know what you gonna say. You in a stability at the quarterback position and offensive line. That's your true statement. Everything else, I would say that they got something to it, but you know, I don't know. He also went off on the Miles Garrett trade talks. He said, he said they got a killer on defense. I'm tired of y' all talking about trading him and getting rid of him. They don't. That don't make no sense to me. That's a once in a lifetime man. That's a. That's a once in a lifetime man that you don't see no more. You don't I don't get rid of that. I don't get rid of that unless I get. Unless I get you. Yeah, Mama, daddy, your uncle, cousin and everybody in the trade for it. Because that's a grown man. That's a winner. That's a winner. So the Browns are coming. Joe, what are the Browns coming to? What are they coming to, Joe? What prime said they coming. You think they coming?
C
I do.
A
Where they coming to?
C
I do. I think this is the thing. Browns, like I always said, defense is not. We've always been able to have good defenses. Our defense is always ranked within the top 10, always. So the problem is when we saying quarterback stability. All these teams have been good. You gotta have a quarterback. We've had so many quarterbacks through the trajectory of the Browns. When we did end up having Baker Mayfield for that short time, he was solid. We were getting players around him. Andrew Berry and them were bringing in talent. They brought in Jarvis Landry, they were bringing in Odell Beckham Jr. On the offensive side of the ball to help us actually score points, get points on the board. When we get points on the board, the defense is always. Is never if you lose because if you give up one play, the game is over. No, you got to be able to have an offense that you go to and they're looking like when I was playing for the Steelers and I left the Browns, Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger, when they came off a drive, they expected to score every single drive. Like when they came off, they were upset that they didn't score. On defense, you wanted to do three and out every time to get the ball back to the birds. When you're on defense and you continue to get three and outs and you continue to get good field position and give them the ball back and you get nothing, that's demoralizing because it makes it feel like defense, you got to continue to ball out and your offense is just like not in factor. If you have an offense that they want to look at the same way that you're looking at it when they come off the field actually disappointed that they didn't put points on the board and they're trying to figure it out, there's nothing the defense got to go say you want to get them the ball back immediately so they can go score points. So that just situation is a completely different situation. So I'm saying the Browns are never far away because your defense is getting the ball back. They're creating turnovers. They're making things happen. Special teams wasn't that good last year when you got good defense and good special teams, you're playing a field position game. You want your offense to be competent, be able to get out there, get a field goal, don't turn it over. Don't go backwards. Don't look crazy. You know what I'm saying? So when you have an offense that's really potent, they're trying to go score every time, that's something that. When I went to the Pittsburgh Steelers, I was like, wow, this is crazy, because if you give up a touchdown, you don't feel like you lost the game. It's like, all right, guys, come on, we about to go score, and now y' all go get the ball back and then we can go run this thing up. You know what I'm saying? Like, nah, like, they got your back. They patting you on the back when you like, oh, okay. All right. Bet. That's my bet. You felt like you lost the game because you don't feel like you should ever get scored on. On defense, on offense, you should feel like they should never stop you. That's just your mindset. So when I was with the Browns, that was never the. I would hope that's their mindset, but I'm looking like y' all aren't scoring. They know they're not scoring. And the defense, we're trying to continue to. We gotta score, put them in position to score, make something happen. We're trying to punch stuff out like we're out there trying to ball. So when I hear in Coach prime, it's a team where if you got an offense now, you got Shador, not just saying he was a quarterback that is running a competent offense that's trying to go get points. He wants to score every single drive, knowing it's not possible. That's what you got to wheel it in sometimes. You check down are good. Let's get a field goal. That's great. You go down and don't turn the ball over. Get a good field position. We pin them down. Now defense is out there. You playing from the two, you playing inside the five. We got our ears pinned back. We're trying to get safeties. You know what I'm saying? It's like a team game that happens there. So what I'm hearing Coach prime, it's like they're building something. Yes. If you can get a competent offense with a legit quarterback that's trying to go score every drive now were speaking a different language because the defense not changing. Miles Garrett, Denzel Ward, they're always out there hunting. They're always hunting. But if they had a quarterback that was out there on the offensive side hunting the same way they hunting now. You going in there with a team, you feel like I'm walking in here with a fully loaded clip. Like, defense, we good. Offense, y' all good. Y' all could go score 30, you know what I'm saying, and really believe it. And they think we about to go take them up top, we about to go run this ball down they throat, you know what I'm saying, and genuinely believe it and go do it. So when I'm saying you go get an offensive line, you build that grit, you build that team. Like that's what it is. So they're not far. We're not getting blown out. But it's like, dude, get an offense. Have a special teams defense. Keep balling, Keep doing what you're doing. Don't get rid of Miles Garrett because he's the reason why our defense is what our defense is like. You want to go get other pieces, you've been doing it with the draft. You've been hitting with these pieces that we do need. So if we were to get rid of Miles, we need a dog tackle and a dog wide receiver. You know, that's what he's saying. Get the wife, get the kids. You need two dudes that are going to instantly make our offense just as good as our defense is. So I'm not against what prime is saying. You sound like I'm a Browns fan, obviously, because when the draft, they drafting the wrong people. I'm like this, no, we should have drafted the receivers and we need a lineman and we drafted. We would have drafted some defensive players. That's not what we need now. Our defense is looking great and we're still not competent on offense. So trying to build a nice offense, I'm like, okay, you're making the right moves. We're getting the right pieces. I like Shador. Shador, don't go out here and mess it up. Give me an offense that can get 24 points. Defense ain't gonna give up that many so we can win more games than we lose. I'm listening what he's saying. He doesn't sound crazy when you look at it like that, but when you.
A
I'm not. Yeah, I'm not.
C
They're the Cleveland Browns, man. What you mean? Y' all are on in the right direction?
A
When they label it as warn and then you actually read it, it's not really a warning, you know, I'm Saying it's more of a. He sees the transition is heading. So.
C
Yes.
A
You know the clickbait type of.
C
He warning.
A
Y' all doing Cleveland coming. No, but you.
C
But you see. But you see what I'm saying.
A
I see what you're saying. True statement. But don't forget y'. All. Y' all special teams were selling, too.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I mean, that's one of the
A
things we left out. Your special teams can lose you a whole game on five plays.
C
He gotta make us. Yes, yes, yes. Missed a couple. Missed a couple field goals. And then often turns a couple returns.
A
All that.
C
Need some. Yes.
A
Yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Write all that down. Yeah.
C
Okay. I got you now. You go ahead and I'm going right. I'm gonna go ahead.
A
Right.
C
What prime was saying,
A
like, in the. And the trading the miles, like, hey, that might be the best thing for them, you know, long term. That might be the best thing for them.
C
Not.
A
Because right now, for me, I just. I don't like having to play against him twice a year. It's a personal thing.
C
You're trying to weaken my squad. Always, that is.
A
Do you think I care about how weak the league is? If I won a championship every year, I would give zero. Zero. I would not care. Zero. I would give zero. Of course, I would want to play against the best and have your best talent. You know what I'm saying?
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah. I'm gonna give you a ride to the stadium. If I see your car broke down, I want you. I want your best. I want you. Yeah.
C
You want us to be in there for sure.
A
But I ain't on the field no more, so I'm trying to get it with less of a heart attack and a headache.
C
Yeah. So right now, you want the easiest path.
A
I want the easiest path possible.
C
Okay.
A
Okay.
C
Okay.
A
All right. I can't. Listen, man, I done got back into this thing, man. I'm up here. You know, I was trying to stay away from it for a long time, like, trying to stay away. But I'm back into it now, and it's. It's giving me the same thing I did when I'm playing. But I ain't even getting the check on Monday to make me feel better when we lose.
C
Nope.
A
You know what I'm saying?
C
Nope.
A
I just.
C
Just getting turned up too, Debo. I already feel it.
A
You told you, man. Bro, we can't. We can't do no live, man. We do a live. We do a live show, man. Like, I a live with. I Did a live with Ben, but I kept it. I kept it, you know, I kept it low during the game. Like, yeah, I keep it. Yeah, I was in. You know, I, I kind of. You gotta really. You gotta really bring it in. You gotta keep it inside. Like if you feel you want to say then you can't. You know what I'm saying? You know for sure. You know how, you know, you know what I was saying when we was.
C
Yeah, you quick.
A
You quick to react.
C
I'm quick quick to react.
A
And I would say something reckless as hell too. I'm gonna go back. I'm gonna go back to man the one play he had about seven years ago. That's the same thing.

The episode is light-hearted but passionate, laced with classic retired-player bravado, inside jokes, and brutally honest analysis. Both hosts riff comfortably, challenge each other (especially over Cleveland-Pittsburgh sports), and sprinkle in both ex-player wisdom and fan-level emotion. They get animated about “the script,” deeply analytical on QB play, and reflective about football culture in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.
This episode provides both detailed insider perspective on the Steelers’ “win-now” strategy with Aaron Rodgers and a hilarious, sometimes brutally honest take on the AFC North landscape. Deebo and Joe weave in personal experience and unfiltered opinions, making it a must-listen for fans of the Steelers, Browns, and anyone interested in how ex-NFL stars see today’s game—on and off the field.
