Jo Joe Hayden
I'm doing all right.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, Joe. You crazy, Joe?
Jo Joe Hayden
What's up, bro?
James Debo Harrison
I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. I ain't gonna lie to you. I ain't gonna lie to you at all. When I seen New York had won and we finally got that thing back. Tied one one. We won one now.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, no, no. No, we not.
James Debo Harrison
What you talking about, bro? Y' all blew us out. I went to sleep with eight minutes left. What is you talking about? The first game, it was over. What are you talking about? It's done.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know.
James Debo Harrison
You telling me we won?
Jo Joe Hayden
No, we're down. Two zero.
James Debo Harrison
We're down. No, I'm New York.
Jo Joe Hayden
You're New York.
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Jo Joe Hayden
You're up. You're up.
James Debo Harrison
You're up.
Jo Joe Hayden
Two zero.
James Debo Harrison
What happened? I went to sleep with like eight minutes left in the game. Y' all was up by like 22 or something. What happened?
Jo Joe Hayden
That was game one.
James Debo Harrison
I know. That's what I'm saying. That's why I thought it was one one. Cause I just went to bed. I Never even checked again. Then I saw it was, you know, we won the day last night, you know, and then that was. It had to be. So what happened? What happened? It was like. It was like eight minutes when I went to bed. Left in the gate. That's up at, like, 22. What happened
Jo Joe Hayden
in my soul? I was hurt. I was hurt. We was up.
James Debo Harrison
But that's not telling me what happened. Your soul got hurt and that's why they lost her.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, this what happened.
James Debo Harrison
Coaching.
Jo Joe Hayden
This is what happened. Coaching. They went on a run where we needed to call a timeout. We switched James Harden onto.
James Debo Harrison
You can't be calling all your timeout. Sometimes you gotta save it.
Jo Joe Hayden
We need to call it when they get. It's called momentum. It's called momentum. I mean, sometimes.
James Debo Harrison
You gotta save them, though.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, save him for what? Don't. You gonna save me?
James Debo Harrison
I don't know. I'm just saying.
Jo Joe Hayden
That's what I'm saying. There's nothing to save him for. He's saving them for no reason. Saving them for no reason. We needed to burn the timeouts. It was coaching. It was. James Harden switched on to Jalen Brunson and got barbecued. We needed to leave D. Wade and Max Strust on Jalen Brunson. We were doing a great job at that point. Deebo, we're up 7 minutes and 22 seconds by 22 points. And I started just. I started calculating how much time is left with the possessions. How many more possessions do we have to have? Because I think we started playing not to. Not to lose. We started missing shots. People weren't getting back on defense. Brunson started getting on fire.
James Debo Harrison
That ain't how you play. Not to lose. Missing shots ain't how you.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, no. They were just really like. I felt like we were clock watching. When we were up by 22, we were trying to get buckets. Everybody was scoring during the second. We needed to call the timeout. It got ugly. It got bad. I was.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, they put in the twos, huh?
Jo Joe Hayden
Jalen Brunson started barbecuing. No, we needed to call timeout. It was clock management. It was Jalen Brunson going crazy. We need.
James Debo Harrison
I don't know how you lose. I went to sleep. Y' all was like. We were down by, like, 22. When I went to sleep, it was like, maybe like eight minutes left.
Jo Joe Hayden
Something.
James Debo Harrison
Seven, 40, something. I don't know, but, like, in the bed sleep.
Jo Joe Hayden
I ain't gonna lie to you, Debo. That was one of. I was. I'm a, I had. I gotta relax. Cause I was so. I watched the whole game and saw it happening right in front of my eyes, and I was genuinely hurt. I was sad. And then the second. And then again, I got a tear.
James Debo Harrison
Joy in my eye from that.
Jo Joe Hayden
Harden was getting barbecued. My man Brunson was.
James Debo Harrison
What did Harden do? You know, Harden ain't got no deep.
Jo Joe Hayden
It was a deep. It was. It was just. It was a.
James Debo Harrison
No, we didn't know that.
Jo Joe Hayden
We did. Look, we didn't need to put him on Brunson. And then game two. Listen, I understand. Hey, get the ball. Listen. No, no, no. We need to get the ball out of Brunson's hands. We got to get out of Brunson's hands. But Josh Hart, he's still an NBA player. There's a such thing.
James Debo Harrison
We got other players.
Jo Joe Hayden
There's a such thing as lagging off, and there's a such thing as leaving him wide open. Jerry Allen, we need a little. I understand. We need a. Just a little contest. Give him a hand. He's sitting there wide open. Passing it to him. Josh Hart killed us, too.
James Debo Harrison
I don't know how you.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, man.
James Debo Harrison
Hey.
Jo Joe Hayden
All I know is this look.
James Debo Harrison
Calling Mr. Hart.
Jo Joe Hayden
It was a sad, sad. I'm still. I'm not calling. I'm not counting this out because at the same time, we gotta go defend home court. It's only two games, but when you lose one in that fashion that we should have stole, it should have. It was like. It was 1 0.
James Debo Harrison
Hold up. What you. No, no, no. It wasn't a steal. Like, y' all just.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, we was up by 22. We're not supposed to lose that game. We're not supposed to lose that game at all.
James Debo Harrison
I just knew it. I went to bed, man, and I just. I just. I didn't even. I didn't even look at it, man. I should have knew something. But you need.
Jo Joe Hayden
I mean, we got to shoot some more shots at the end.
James Debo Harrison
I mean, Harden was shooting enough, wasn't he?
Jo Joe Hayden
All I know is we're going to the land and we got to pull it out in the land. We got to pull out in the land.
James Debo Harrison
How'd you sleep last night? I slept great. I slept like a baby.
Jo Joe Hayden
I didn't sleep too well. I didn't sleep too well. I feel. I feel the fandom now when I'm watching. I get, like. Because I have no control. So I want them to want it. I want the Cavs to be out there wanting it. And we up by 22. We gotta somehow close it out, call a timeout, Coach.
James Debo Harrison
Well, you say somebody get a bucket.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, no, no, no. And players. And players. We need to somehow. Somebody dimits. We only only shot three times at the end of the. You're. You're our best player. You know what I'm saying? Like, go get a bucket. I know he wants it.
James Debo Harrison
Maybe it's count on James Harden.
Jo Joe Hayden
Go get a bucket, James Harden. You just. Just a little. I don't think James Harden.
James Debo Harrison
Maybe less flop.
Jo Joe Hayden
Just. Just a little more effort with the defense. Sometimes he's just letting them just blow by.
James Debo Harrison
It ain't about effort. He can't play no defense. You know this.
Jo Joe Hayden
It is about effort.
James Debo Harrison
He can't play no defense.
Jo Joe Hayden
It is about effort. It's about slide.
James Debo Harrison
He can play defense by. Well as I can.
Jo Joe Hayden
Slide your puppies, man. And then coach told him what we did, but then it's coaching because it's like, if we know that that's not his expertise. Leave D. Wade on him. Leave stru on him. Them dudes are in his pocket. Just stand there giving them a way better body to give him. Trying to get a bucket on them than trying to get a bucket on James. That's just letting them slide by, man.
James Debo Harrison
I love this game. Love this game, man.
Jo Joe Hayden
All I know is we got game three coming. They going, yeah, we, We.
James Debo Harrison
You heard what they said.
Jo Joe Hayden
What's up?
James Debo Harrison
You heard what they said?
Jo Joe Hayden
What they said.
James Debo Harrison
You heard them. You heard them.
Jo Joe Hayden
Obviously they're gonna be chanting that in their crib. Garden was turned.
James Debo Harrison
I felt like. I felt like I was there, you know, I was sitting next to Spike. You know what I'm saying? That's why. That's what I felt like, baby. I just wins over there, man.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know what.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, don't bring your. Hey, don't bring your ass over there playing. We don't care if you up by 22 with 740 left.
Jo Joe Hayden
Tripping they go. They did what they had to do. They held down their home court. I'm sick that we let that game one slip.
James Debo Harrison
Get over here. That's how you rip they soul out. 22. 7, 40 left. Get over here. Mortal Kombat, man. Goodness.
Jo Joe Hayden
Slide your feet. Hey, what's up
James Debo Harrison
the cast doing. What's the. The hat on top of your head? Do they. Browning.
Jo Joe Hayden
You know what? I didn't. I didn't wear my. I didn't wear my gear.
James Debo Harrison
The calves is brown.
Jo Joe Hayden
I didn't want my gear.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, that's what it is.
Jo Joe Hayden
They not browning Bro. Yeah, that. That was. That was just. We got to keep our eye on the prize. We got to go protect home. We got to go protect home. We got to go protect home. That one hurt home. That one hurts.
James Debo Harrison
You got to protect home. You can't protect home.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes, we, we. Same thing you was talking about. The same.
James Debo Harrison
The doors open. Y'. All about Y' all leave the doors open.
Jo Joe Hayden
No disrespect. New York is boring.
James Debo Harrison
Listen, just hold the door open so that they don't have to break everything to come through there. Just leave the door. That way you ain't got to replace no locks or nothing like that and everything. Just leave the doors open. Don't you know what I'm saying?
Az Fudd
Like, what's up, everyone? It's me, Az Fudd from FUD around and find out. Thanks, everyone, for all the positivity coming out of the draft. I am so blessed to have so many people that believe in and support me. My listeners, my friends and family, and the whole GEICO team who put my family in a commercial with me. That was so cool to see. The gecko even showed up wearing my jersey. Well, a smaller version of it. And my grandfather is a huge fan of the gecko. During my injury rehab, I was a little nervous about the future, but I've had so much support and so many people believing in me, and we came through it together. I know I'm leaving the bubble of college, headed to a new city, joining a new team. It's a lot of change all at once, but I don't feel like I'm alone. The way I feel about basketball is the way I feel about life. You help your team and your team helps you. So thank you again, everyone, whether you're on the GEICO team or just a fan wearing my team's jersey. Thank you all so much for all the support.
Jo Joe Hayden

Hello, this is Malcolm Glabel from Smart talks with IBM. Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari. Hp.
Stefano Pallard
Your pronunciation is strongly American. It's more Scuderia Ferrari.
Malcolm Glebel
I'm still working on rolling my R's, but what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tifosi, the Ferrari superfans. In the digital age.
Stefano Pallard
Ferrari fans and super fans want to be part of something, want to belong to something. So they want to be part of a community, and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team.
Malcolm Glebel
You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history, and now you're interacting in a kind of digital space. I'm curious how you balance those two traditions.
Stefano Pallard
When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans.

James Debo Harrison
Wow, man. He gonna tell me to sell Joe, man. Joe. Joe, Man, Joe got a lot of animosity in him today, man. It's bad. What's wrong with Joe? Why he asked me like this?
Jo Joe Hayden
It's my Cavs, bro. And I. I care. I want them to be successful. I want them to win. That hurt. Up 22. My boys in New York fans. New York Knicks fans. They cutting the game off.
James Debo Harrison
Y' all thought you was my brother. I thought you was my brother. I thought we cared love for each other. I thought you was my brother. Why you acting like that? This is just a game, man. You see me with not a damn tear in my eye. I don't give a damn.
Jo Joe Hayden
That's what I'm saying. I know you don't care. That's what I'm saying. I know you don't care. I know you don't care. Pissing me off. You don't care. You all happy and all that just to just. Yeah, you. You saw both games. You talking about some.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah.
Jo Joe Hayden
So what happened? I went to sleep.
James Debo Harrison
You know what? You know what, Joe? I'm gonna start this off a little different, man. I'm. I'm gonna just stay over here in Cleveland, bro. You know, and let's.
Podcast Host
Let's.
James Debo Harrison
Let's just go to Cleveland, man. Todd Monkin still hasn't met Miles Garrett. Yeah, so why. Why hasn't he met Miles yet, Joe?
Jo Joe Hayden
Because they still Miles, ain't he? Because. Same reason why a lot of the vets didn't come up yet. Miles just. He's chilling. He's chilling. He's gonna be there for training camp. Dude, he's gonna be there for training camp.
James Debo Harrison
He's chilling. So tough that he missed the mandatory mini camp last month and lost a million. And y' all got another mandatory camp coming up next month.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay?
James Debo Harrison
And if you don't show up to that, that's another 100 and 100 and almost 108,000 up out of his pocket.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, Joe, come on, now.
Jo Joe Hayden
Don't be counting Miles. You count Miles. Pockets, man. Don't become Miles.
James Debo Harrison
I ain't counting. I ain't counting.
Jo Joe Hayden
But I'm.
James Debo Harrison
I'm like, mandatory. I ain't come. I'm losing a Millie.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know. I know.
James Debo Harrison
A Millie, Joe.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know it's not a good look.
James Debo Harrison
Explain something. Explain something to me, Joe. It's supposed to be your theater. He ain't gonna meet your new leader. He ain't even buying that. He's showing him. He ain't buying there. He ain't got to say a word to him. He done told the rest of the defense I ain't showed up. And I'm about to take a million one hit, let y' all know I run this. He doing.
Jo Joe Hayden
He's letting the young dudes get the reps. Cause he know it's gonna take them more time to learn the system, you know what I'm saying? They gonna need to be all this time that they gonna get the reps in, be able to. You know what I'm saying? Figure it out. But Miles is plug and play. Soon as he gets back, he's going
James Debo Harrison
to be the defense just staying exactly the same. The terminology and everything, huh?
Jo Joe Hayden
It ain't gonna take Miles long to learn the terminology. He's a defensive player of the year for a reason. He's gonna be fine. The younger dudes, everybody else, get your reps, get your stuff in, get your. Get your level of play up.
James Debo Harrison
You're right. You're right. I agree with you, Joe.
Jo Joe Hayden
You know what I'm saying, Miles? It's not.
James Debo Harrison
It's not a good Miles Garrett. You do not need to show up.
Jo Joe Hayden
You do need to show up. I would love for you to show up.
James Debo Harrison
You understand?
Jo Joe Hayden
It would be better for you to
James Debo Harrison
be there until after the last preseason game if you don't want to. Nope.
Jo Joe Hayden
You had a different tone. We had a different. We had a different tone. We had a different tone when we was talking about a rod being able. He didn't show up until training camp last year. Do you know what I'm saying? And still was able to do everything he had to do.
James Debo Harrison
Was he under contract? Did he lose a Millie?
Jo Joe Hayden
No, he didn't. He didn't. But don't worry about that part. Don't worry about Miles Bread. Don't worry about his part.
James Debo Harrison
I'm not worried about it. I'm just letting you know. I'm letting them Know to let. I'm letting you know to let them know. Cause he the defense player of the year.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
Y' all need him. He don't need y'. All. He don't need him. When he show up, y' all say, thank you, sir, for showing up. That's what you do. I don't care.
Jo Joe Hayden
He gonna come there and give you. And give you 20 seconds.
James Debo Harrison
Might be the head. It's not.
Jo Joe Hayden
It's not.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, this is not.
Jo Joe Hayden
This is not. This is not ideal.
James Debo Harrison
I don't care. Put a head. Coach Miles Garrett just told me he run this team. He told me about what I care. What. What a little Millie is. When I'm getting 50, 40 of them things a year. Debo, that's. That's change.
Jo Joe Hayden
Debo, this is not ideal. A thousand percent. I would love our defensive player of the year to be in the building. Obviously, like we said, this is camaraderie. This is when you build. This is when you grow. This is when you can be able to learn. But like we say this too. It's a little bit different when you're a vet and when you're a young guy. So then the losing money part, you
James Debo Harrison
don't want to get in there and try and get some money.
Jo Joe Hayden
I would want. I'm saying ideally, yes, yes, yes.
James Debo Harrison
You know, a buy in of just showing.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes, yes, Ideally, yes. You want your vets in there. You want them dudes in there leading by example, showing the way. But if they not in there, that's time for the younger dudes to get in there and do their thing. I want Miles to be in there for sure. It's not a good look, like you got a new coach. He said, no, I haven't been in touch with Miles. It's not. Not good. But, you know, Miles comes. Let me talk to.
James Debo Harrison
Let me talk to Miles.
Jo Joe Hayden
Still gonna be doing what he can do regardless.
James Debo Harrison
Let me talk to Mr. Garrett. Mr. Garrett, you don't even need to come back until after the break. Our break, after week nine, you can come back.
Jo Joe Hayden
You need.
James Debo Harrison
You deserve it.
Jo Joe Hayden
He don't.
James Debo Harrison
You deserve it.
Jo Joe Hayden
See, there you go talking crazy. There you go talking crazy.
James Debo Harrison
You deserve it.
Jo Joe Hayden
Why you can't give him that same.
James Debo Harrison
They could give you a whole season to sit down and you still.
Jo Joe Hayden
Obviously, it's just because you're a hater, but. Of the Browns. Of the Browns. But why not? If he's the vet and he just ends up not coming to the stuff when he gets there before training camp,
James Debo Harrison
that is the best defensive Player in the league, dude, that is the person that everybody is looking up to, who they trying to chase down. What are you talking about? That man could do what he want to do when he want to do it, and I agree with him. You show up when you want to show up. You don't need nothing but the time that you need to do what you need to do. And whatever that time is, you will make that available to them when you feel like you good and damn ready to. That's what you should do.
Jo Joe Hayden
Mouth. Yes, I want him to be there.
James Debo Harrison
Let me say. I ain't gonna say I love it.
Jo Joe Hayden
I like it. I like it a whole lot. Yeah, I want him to be there. Let me just say that. Oh, I wish that he was there, but him not being there isn't as big of a deal. I will hope that he was in there because like we said, for the camaraderie.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, Joe, can I ask you a personal question?
Jo Joe Hayden
What's up? Yes,
James Debo Harrison
if it's you. Okay, listen, just listen. If it's you and you're coming in and you have something that says you lose a million, you lose 108,000.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
Would you show up or would you just say, hey, I'll come?
Jo Joe Hayden
I would show up a thousand percent.
James Debo Harrison
Why would you do that, Joe?
Jo Joe Hayden
Two reasons. I mean, obviously the team you're going to be working out, you're in the facility, you're getting stuff, right? It's new coaches and the workout money. Like, why would you get. Why would you not get the money, the million dollars, if you're going to be working out regardless, and you in there with the team, you're killing two birds with one stone. I mean, that's why I would.
James Debo Harrison
Or maybe. Or maybe what if you felt like you couldn't get the work done there and it was worth not getting a million to go and be where you were at to get the work done so you could get back to the playing level that you were
Jo Joe Hayden
then? Okay, then that's what. That's what he's thinking. But. Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Would you. Would you not have a conversation with your brand new head coach before that time came so it didn't look like, you know, from the outside looking in.
Jo Joe Hayden
You know, maybe I'm saying I would. I would handle the situation probably differently. But Miles rose, like we said, with he rolling to the beat of his own drum. He's under contract. He knows what it is. He knows he's missing the Millie. And if he's in your mindset, I'm not going to Come out there. I'm staying here. I'm going to be able to get right, get all of my training, my treatment. It's not worth that meal. When I come back out there, I'll be ready to go. That's not how I would do it. But you saying he's not getting the work that he would need to out there to take care of his body better where he's at. I'm. I hear you, but that's not what I would do.
James Debo Harrison
Okay, I understand. I understand what you're saying. Also. Oh, Todd, Todd Monkin. He. He didn't like the fact that the quarterbacks had some interceptions in 707. Hey, Joe, we got a little sound for that. Yeah, okay. Can you play that song? Interceptions in seven on seven. For God's sakes. I mean, who does that? There's no pass rush. I mean, it's embarrassing. Joe. Hey, hey, it ain't sounding too good over there right now. Joe, what's going on over there, man? He sounds, he sound a little upset, man.
Jo Joe Hayden
He could, man. Look, he's coaching up. He's coaching up. It's routes on there. That's how offense. 7 on 7 is for the offense, the same way 1 on ones is for the offense. You should not be. If you're a really good offensive team, you shouldn't be throwing picks in seven on seven. When I seen. Then I. You got to go back and you got to look at the routes. I, I want to see whose fault is it. When I seen the interception that Shador threw, I saw it was a corner route and a cover.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, Shador threw an interception.
Jo Joe Hayden
Shador threw one and Dylan Gabriel threw one. So there was two. The two quarterbacks that threw him in the seven on seven with Shador threw one and Dylan threw one. So I got to go back. Watson did not. Watson didn't throw a pick. He didn't throw a pick. This is practice, though, Debo. He's looking.
James Debo Harrison
So we talking to, we talking to two quarterbacks. Not everybody, not everybody. Talk about the past. The interceptions in 707 and the, the, the, you know, people that got intercepted was two quarterbacks did. Two quarterbacks didn't. I mean, without you having to call the name, you know, you're saying, hey, this is unacceptable. And, you know, ain't no pass for us there, you know, really ain't nothing that could have gotten your way other than your misinterpretation of what you were looking at. Maybe route running, as you said, or misplacement of the ball. Huh?
Jo Joe Hayden
Hmm. He's coaching Debo. It's practice. Coaches evaluate practice.
James Debo Harrison
But how many. How many people. Listen, Joe. How many people. How many head coaches have said I was upset about pass interceptions and seven on seven to the media?
Jo Joe Hayden
I think a lot more coaches are saying it, but people just won't take it as serious because we're going through a quarterback competition and he's a new coach. And that's just something to talk about because it's practice, Deebo. You know, things happen in practice all the time. We are picking people off in practice all the time. So, like, practice is. Practice is where you go to try stuff. It's where you go to try to get better. It's where you go.
James Debo Harrison
I thought you go to practice to perfect your skill.

JBL Wireless Earbuds Grab a pair@jbl.com practice makes perfect.
Jo Joe Hayden
You can't but perfect practice makes perfect. But there is things where each practice is getting evaluated at a microscope. Each throw, each thing. So when I'm looking at this pass, it might have been a little bit late, and I'm looking at Judy, the route come back to the ball. It's looking like you just standing there waiting for the ball to come to you, but you got to come back, drive back downhill to the ball. I didn't see Dylan Gabriel's interception, but I only was able to see the Shador one. So when I'm just looking back at the plays, there's reasons, there's cause and effects for everything. Every interception isn't made the same. Every tip ball, it could have been a tipped, and you know what I'm saying, it was tipped and then it was picked because I seen with Judy come back to the ball, somebody else DB was able to come make a play, tip the ball into the air, and it gets picked off. So when you're looking back at it, it's like, okay, how are we working in this? Does the quarterback need to throw the ball a little bit earlier, look like he might have been standing there for a second? Does the quarterback, does the receiver need to drive back down to the ball? There's all different causes and effects for all this stuff, but when coach is coaching it up, boom. Like, that's in a. That's a legitimate evaluation. You shouldn't be throwing picks in seven on seven. Our quarterback needs to get the ball out earlier or our receiver needs to be coming back down, coming back downhill. These are just things that coaches are coaching. And that. That's tape that they're going to watch and evaluate. So, like, every single snap, I got the plays. When, when you're doing, like in training camps, good on good, you're getting. Things will happen. You're going to get beat. Like it is what it is. And that doesn't make. Doesn't mean I'm a bad corner because somebody hit me up on a play. No, that means they won that rep. Next rep. You know what I'm saying? Do better. Line it back up. So each. When you do do good plays, they get evaluated. Everybody's looking at, oh, yeah, that's great. When you do one bad play, everybody's saying everything about it. So I just think it's coach coaching stuff up.
James Debo Harrison
Joe.
Jo Joe Hayden
And seeing and seeing what he sees, though.
James Debo Harrison
Don't let me. You know, I read into everything. Joe, you know me.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know you did. You read into it and trying to do. Trying to make it stop.
James Debo Harrison
Joe, stop, stop. Joe, let me talk. But my things make sense. They have reasoning behind it. And I'm, I'm starting to get some reasoning in my head on this that.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay, let me hear.
James Debo Harrison
You know, I'm just going back to what they, you know, what was said by. What was it a while ago? Yeah, Albert Brewer a while ago about, you know, him kind of liking Watson a little more, supposedly. So now you go to this and like I said, I've never heard a coach talk about being upset about throwing interceptions in 7 on 7 and actually just speaking it straight out to the media when you're already in a quarterback controversy. So with that being the case, with his supposed liking of Watson and his abilities to play offensive schemes that he's hadn't done and been successful at, I think this could have been maybe a
Jo Joe Hayden
little bit of a shot
James Debo Harrison
at saying, look, interception, interception. But it's not him. Is them is helping you and everybody else out here give a public opinion about who they feel it should or shouldn't be to go along with who he probably already wants it to be. I'm just saying, Joe. That's all I was saying. What do you think of that, Joe? Joe, you. You muted.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, I'm not muted. I'm just trying to listen to what you saying. I hear you. I think, Coach. Yeah, I mean, it is what it is. It was bad. Like, if dudes are throwing interceptions in the practice, then he's just reporting the news. And they asked him about the defense, like, do you think the defense was creating the plays? He's like, look, it's a seven on seven. We shouldn't be throwing picks. So, I mean. Yeah, it's a. You could say that. You could say that.
James Debo Harrison
I mean, he's just reporting the news. I mean, that's a little. That's a little. That's a little not true. You just know you're not just reporting the news. You're. You're reporting to the reporters that are reporting out the information to the fans that you want to be heard. Because if you didn't say it, they wouldn't have knew it outright out of your mouth.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
You know what I'm saying? So you're putting that out there. You're putting your own little spin, I would say, on the topic of where you trying to maybe get people to lean, Joe.
Jo Joe Hayden
Oh, for sure. You're right. You're right. It's giving. Todd Monkin is definitely in favor of Watson a little bit because he didn't he Watson. But Watson didn't throw a pick. He didn't throw a pick. Shador Did.
James Debo Harrison
But what do you know of any other practices? Has he thrown a pick all at all, this minicamp or. Or OTAs? We don't know if.
Jo Joe Hayden
We don't know.
James Debo Harrison
But if he has and you can find that information out, it would be very suspicious that he would talk about it now. Hey, I'm just saying. Hey, it was brought out to the public, all right? That's all I'm saying. Joe, I'm gonna go over here to. To the Steelers man, Aaron Rodgers. He will retire after the 2026 season. My man said, this is it. He said this is it. That's it. Ain't no coming back.
Jo Joe Hayden
Ain't no coming back.
James Debo Harrison
Ain't no coming back. He has. He has a 2.5. The 2.5 million in incentives in his contract with the Steelers now is he must play 75% of the regular season snaps, and then he can earn the following 625,000 for every playoff win, wild card win, divisional, AFC, Super Bowl. Joe.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
I hate to say it, but he ain't gonna get all this. He's not gonna get all this, bro. Ain't gonna get no more than about 1, 8, 7, 5, because when you number one, you don't play to the divisional round, you know, so he'll get 1, 8, 75 when it's all said and done, walk off into the sunset. Super Bowl Champion, you know,
Jo Joe Hayden
that's what you think is gonna go down. I. Look, I'm. I'm excited because.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, hey, listen, listen. You are so gone. You are so down in the dumps. They got you so depressed. And so. Yeah, I am.
Jo Joe Hayden
I'm messed up. I ain't gonna lie, go down bad. I ain't gonna lie to you that
James Debo Harrison
you can't even be excited about a team you said was at least a 1B.
Jo Joe Hayden
Look, my whole mood this morning, I ain't gonna lie to you.
James Debo Harrison
I know what Joe is. I was literally misery, love, company.
Jo Joe Hayden
Joe, I've been sad when we lost that first game and it's the fan. I. I never. I was able to get over games way easier when I was playing in it, but now it's like I don't have no control. So that hurt. It just. It really, really hurt. I wanted us to be up. We lost two, and I knew you was going to come in here talking crazy. Then we got the Browns. It's just. I love my Browns, but we going to be talking about everything that's not a quarterback controversy.
James Debo Harrison
And I'm talking about players out in public. You got your Star player showing up.
Jo Joe Hayden
Got my got. Yes. Yes. So I knew it was all. I'm just. I'm sorry if the energy is down. It's just you just beating me up today, T. Really.
James Debo Harrison
I told y'.
Jo Joe Hayden
All.
James Debo Harrison
Joe, Joe, Joe. Hey, listen, Joe. Joe. Coming out, he came.
Jo Joe Hayden
He was trying to hide his colors.
James Debo Harrison
He was trying. Brown and orange. I know he want to claim black and gold, but I know it's brown and orange.
Jo Joe Hayden
I was. Look, I'm gonna cut him next time
James Debo Harrison
and see if he bleeds some brown and orange.
Jo Joe Hayden
All right, man, listen, Deebo, I was just being honest with you, man. You. You had me. I was hurting today. I honestly, I was like, man, I really don't want to show up. Cause I know he's going to fire me up. He's going to.
James Debo Harrison
You didn't even come on until two minutes before we was about to go on. Joe, what's going on?
Jo Joe Hayden
No, I. Crazy.
James Debo Harrison
It was crazy, and I knew what it was.
Jo Joe Hayden
I didn't have nothing that wanted to talk to you about Debo, except for when we got to the Steelers. I was ready to get to this part. That whole first part of the show just now, I didn't want to talk about any of that. That was none of my doing at all. You just sitting there, couldn't wait. You skipping stuff around. You moving stuff around in the show just so you could get on me.
James Debo Harrison
Joe, I didn't know what happened. I thought. Joe, listen, Joe. I thought it was one one. That's all it was. And I come to find out right here from you, you're lying, though. I blew up 22 point lead, Deej.
Jo Joe Hayden
Deebo. Deebo. That was what you were planning on that entrance the whole show. I felt it. I felt. I was like, he got something. And he was like, oh, no, ajo. I'm like, you saw the game.
James Debo Harrison
I know you saw the game.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know you did.
James Debo Harrison
I came to see it. So is my vision bad? I'm old. I couldn't see. I was listening to it, and then I went to bed.
Jo Joe Hayden
All right, you know what? It's all.
James Debo Harrison
I was listening to Aaron retiring and all that. And then I'm. I don't know. I don't know, Joe. You know, I'm getting old.
Jo Joe Hayden
It was.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, man.
Jo Joe Hayden
This weekend really was a Not good. You know what I'm saying? Sports weekend for me. My wife was like, you're just not. Like, you're a little grumpy. I said, I am. I'm sorry. Just not in a good mood right now.
James Debo Harrison
Bruh, that's not bad.
Jo Joe Hayden
I know it's bad. I know, I know, I know, man. Listen, man, I know, I know. I don't like it. I don't like that. That's not me. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not a man. Hey, man, I'm a really glad person.
James Debo Harrison
I know you was thinking about moving back to Cleveland, but now ain't the time, bro.
Jo Joe Hayden
Not moving back. I'm chilling right now, but I'm definitely going the game. I'm definitely going to Game four. I'll be out there. I'm be out there on Monday.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, man, maybe you could, like, for my boys, man. Don't y' all got a team over there? Got Bullets or something? Washington Bullets, right? Something like that.
Jo Joe Hayden
The wizards out here, D.C. yeah. We just got the number one pick. We're going to get AJ the AJ from BYU.
James Debo Harrison
Here you go with this we shit. Joe, where are you?
Jo Joe Hayden
I live in D.C. i mean, I live in Virginia. So you say the team that's right up the street, it's the Wizards. They gonna get the bonza. All right, That's. They. Okay, You French, they gonna get the bonz.
James Debo Harrison
You French, they gonna get. You got French in your mouth.
Jo Joe Hayden
I'm just gonna go watch.
James Debo Harrison
We need to check your DNA heritage. You French. Cause it's a whole lot of we.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay. All right. You know what, Deebo?
James Debo Harrison
We know.
Jo Joe Hayden
You going to stop. I'm going to stop saying we. Cause I'm not with them. Exactly. They're up the street. So the Wizards are going to get AJ debonza, and he's up the street. So I would love to go watch him play. So that means him being close. I can get to go watch the Wizards play.

You gotta be spiked out. Listen, other than the TV, you 1000% right. But you spiked out. You right there. Seeing like they real ballers move like that, I'm like, yeah, that's NBA. No, all that. James Debo Harrison
I understand, I understand, I understand Joe. But I'm just saying like we talking. We know we talking about.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay. Talking about
James Debo Harrison
run to the end. That's gonna be a Super bowl championship finishing at the end. I'm sorry he only go get 1.8, 7, 5 million. Because we will not be playing week one. We won't be playing to the divisional game. So you know, we're gonna have a buy.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay, so you just saying that that's not even possible. If they skip the wild card, he don't need.
James Debo Harrison
I mean, worst case scenario, it could get possible and we have to play in the wild card. Cause we are two.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay, okay, okay. You know, but if they skip the wild card game and he don't play in it just because we go to the divisional round, then that's just. That's Nyla Boyd.
James Debo Harrison
Right, Right.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
James Debo Harrison
You know what I'm saying now? He don't. All right, he getting the two, five in. He getting the two, five.
Jo Joe Hayden
So. But all I know is, and.
James Debo Harrison
And maybe they may just go ahead and put it in there as a bonus retirement gift. Another 625.
Jo Joe Hayden
All I know for seven. All I know is this is what I'm talking about. It's no gray area, Debo. It's no willy nilly. This is what it is. Last year, a Rod, he's here. He's showing up to the optional stuff we were talking about. My boy's not there. A Rod's here now. He's here earlier than he was last year for training camp. We got all of the talent on the team. We got the receivers, we got the running back. We went and got the D backs. We went and got everything that we need. And a Rod and for Cam and for Ramsey and for Highsmith. For the older dudes on the team, they know it's they final hurrah too. TJ Watt, it's their final hurrah. Not in the way of like when the young dudes start getting in, when Will Howard starts getting his shot. When Drew Aller, that's when you know it is what it is. It could get. You don't know how it's gonna get. Like the quarterback position is something that's gonna be up in the air. But right now, with a Rod knowing, saying, this is it. This is my final hurrah, he's in here with McCarthy. Our man Omar been doing everything he had to do to build the team. Not to rebuild, but just get talent. Get as much as you can. You got your old, you're not. We're not trading tj. We're not getting rid of High Smith. We're going to make sure we can figure this thing out. And it's going to beat Hera. We got the quarterback. We have a hall of Fame quarterback. He came out here last year. 3,300 yards, 24 touchdowns, seven picks. We were dunking and dunking, you know what I'm saying? It wasn't offensive, it wasn't going as as. That's not terrible. That's not special. But I think with being able to get more talent around, being able to get that consistent running game and knowing what we need to get done, knowing on outside, we gotta be able to take more shots, we gotta hit on those. But that's gonna happen when the run game is going, when dottle, when Jalen Warren are really fucking coming downhill. When we're establishing a line of scrimmage where, you know what I'm saying, we're coming down, it's short, third downs, it's third and three, you know what I'm saying? Working with second and fours where we're not behind the sticks. So I love a rod being able to be like now, okay, boom. It is what it is. You're all in.
James Debo Harrison
We got all in.
Jo Joe Hayden
We got you. You know, this is it. You want to leave on a. When you were in New York, you got hurt. It didn't go as quite well last season. We were still. We still won the division. We still went to the playoffs. It didn't end up going the way we that we wanted to go, you know what I'm saying? Like defense, there was. There was gaps. Offense, we weren't hitting on the defense.
James Debo Harrison
We were checking the ball, worried about that. We have all that gap stuff cleaned up on defense side you want to
Jo Joe Hayden
get now with a rod saying that he's going to be here for this whole season, 22 mil with these incentives, playoff incentives, you got to play 75% of the games. This is your final hurrah. We're in with you. Wa Cam the boys. Dk. Everybody knows he can't wait to get to Latrobe. So all I'm going to say is with this, I'm rocking. I'm loving what Aaron Rodgers is like because in my heart of hearts, I love as the Thor of the football, he's one of the best to ever do it. I don't care what anybody says, he can spin the rock. So now we just got him in a where Joe Flacco type role where just make the passes that you got to. Don't turn the ball over. And you know what I'm saying, Control the offense. A rock can do that, a rock can 1000% do that. And then somebody get special, make some throws, because that's what you do. You can still spin the rock. Your arm isn't going nowhere. It's your mobility. I don't know how fast you're going to be able to move, but that's
James Debo Harrison
arm is changing a little bit. But you know, everybody.
Jo Joe Hayden
It is. He can make those. He can make them. Yeah, he can make them.
Az Fudd
Yeah.
Jo Joe Hayden
So I'm rocking.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, for sure. Mike McCarthy, he said the Steelers have four quarterbacks that we love, that we live. You do that a lot, too. I'm gonna tell you right now.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, that. You see, that's what he sound like.
James Debo Harrison
He sound like, listen, man. Words, words, words. So, so, so words mean things. And it's two. It's two words that I think people use a lot and they don't correct theirself on. Or at least even when I use them, I try and stop myself if I don't really mean it and correct myself. Okay, it's love, hate. If I love something, dude, like, that is a. Like, that's, That's. That's.
Jo Joe Hayden
That's, you know, just throw around the love.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, man, you can't throw around love, man. What the Bible say it's with three different forms of love. You got. What is it? Agape, which is the God.
Jo Joe Hayden
Love.
James Debo Harrison
That's the unconditional love. That's the love. Hell, that's the only love you ever go give to is your kids, you know.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
It don't matter what they do, how bad they mess up and everything. You always go, love me. Nothing gonna stop you from loving. And then you got the. What is it? The Philly. It's like. It's fillejo. It's like, it's for the word for Philly. Like, okay, brotherly love. So it's brotherly love. Like, it's like, you know, it's an, you know, an affectionate love for, you know, like, relationships. Yeah. And then you got Eros, which is like, you know, you and your wife.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay, yes, yes, yes, yes.
James Debo Harrison
So, like, when you use those words, they, like, they, like, mean things. But get back to my point is stop using words like love when it could be just like. Like. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, because you.
Jo Joe Hayden
I love.
James Debo Harrison
Hit a spinner of the ball and I'll be. It might be in my head and I'll just be like, like, like, it just. It just. I don't know why I do it. It just irks me. And then when I say I, like, hate, like, if I hate you, hate is a very, very, very strong, like, if I hate you, like, I'M willing to do something that is just out of. Out of character. Well, it used to be out of. Well, it's out of my character now.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Before, if I hated you, I was willing to do anything to make you not exist.
Jo Joe Hayden
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
That's how. That's how strong the hate word is. So to use the hate is very, very strong word. So hate and love, those are the two words that I tell. I tell my kids, like, yo. And, you know, they mean things like, oh, I just love the color blue. I just love the. I love the rainbow. I just love this. I love, you know, all this. Yeah, they love everything. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Jo Joe Hayden
You like it. You like, right?
James Debo Harrison
You like it. You got an extreme, like, for it. Maybe, you know, maybe you like it.
Jo Joe Hayden
A who.
James Debo Harrison
Whole bunch. You know what I'm saying?
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, I like it a lot.
James Debo Harrison
To give it.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
To give it more. They. They want to throw love into it.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
You know what I'm saying? Or. Or hate.
Jo Joe Hayden
You know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
Like, I'm done. No, they can't do that. So I think what he's saying here is that they like the quarterbacks that they had more.
Jo Joe Hayden
Like what we got. Mike McCarthy's happy with the QBs that he has.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. Yeah. He said. I guess his words were they. Definitely. We definitely got four that we love. I can say that we always have to develop the room. There's always been. That's always been my approach. We're hoping that Omar can get the roster expanded to 55 and we can keep four. It's a really good room. This is a good place to be having four guys that can play. Joe, do you think keeping four quarterbacks is a good thing or.
Jo Joe Hayden
No?
James Debo Harrison
Okay.
Jo Joe Hayden
No, I'm. I'm a. I'm. I'm a three quarterback kind of guy, you know, and if it gets down to it and maybe if you got to let one go and then hopefully they can sign them to practice squad. But having four quarterbacks on the roster is crazy to me. It's just taking up too many spots. You could be using another tight end, you could be using another running back. You can use another linebacker, another corner, somebody that's actually literally a legitimate piece of special teams and offense, you know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
And able to do special teams.
Jo Joe Hayden
That's a real. That's a.
James Debo Harrison
And defense.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, you need all four phase kind of guy that's like, really out there making plays for you. So to just have that on the roster for. No, I. I Just I. It doesn't make sense to me. Because you need a quarterback for show three solid four. You're tripping.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, yeah. You know what? Now thinking about it. Go back Aaron's last year. This is the year. Maybe they're trying to just hold on to all three. The possibility of having them all three for next year and then seeing what they could do in the draft because we gonna be the last pick in
Jo Joe Hayden
the first year with the. Yeah, with the plans. With the plans you got going.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, yeah. With the plans I got going on, baby. It ain't like you could put one of them on the practice squad. You put either one of them rookies on the practice squad, somebody go grab them.
Jo Joe Hayden
If that's the man, win the Super Bowl. I'm not tripping. If it was three or four of them, but they got to go.
James Debo Harrison
Whatever you want to do.
Jo Joe Hayden
Yeah, we can figure it out. Will's good. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, we figure it out. Will it Drew. We'll see what's going on a rise. Farewell tour. We are not.
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Jo Joe Hayden
When we got you got the super bowl. Then there's other then I think Mason
James Debo Harrison
could go on the practice squad.
Jo Joe Hayden
Come on.
James Debo Harrison
I don't think nobody would grab him. I ain't lying.
Jo Joe Hayden
We have to. After last year, I'm not a big old. I'm not a big component of the four QBs. We're gonna have to max out what a rod got.
James Debo Harrison
Okay, Facts.
