Yeah, go ahead. So I put my GM hat on and I don't see it happening because of the cap hit of 42 million and his, his sack numbers from last season. Now 2024 he had, I believe 11 and a half. That's a good year. 25, it was seven. He missed the games because of injuries, all that. Okay. 24 was a good year numbers wise. But when you're being paid top money, fans expect top numbers. Okay.

And last year he was down. Now I feel he is worth the money because I can see and understand his impact as he, you know, a player that's, you know, not just by the numbers but his impact of what he does just from being on the field. The opportunities that it opens up for other guys. When TJ has two guys assigned to him, you know, every snap. So that gives other guys more opportunities. Yes. To have the one on ones and go and be able to make plays. Now again, he's getting chipped too. What does that do? So he's getting, he sometimes he's getting double and he's getting chips. So now not only are they taking two now. Exactly. Now they're slowing a guy down from being able to get out into his route. And if the quarterback ends up needing to use that guy, he's going to have to wait a snap longer or a hair longer for that guy to get open because he has to bump and chip TJ on his way out. Which means again, it's going to give other players more time to get to that side. So I understand all that, but the biggest issue is again, why I don't see it happening is that it's not going to be another team out there that's going to make this trade and then try to reason and explain to fans that the 42 million dollar hit is worth what they're looking at, which would only be seven sacks from last year. Okay, yeah, no, he's not gonna be able to sit there and, and be able to understand or explain, you know, the intangible values of the things that, you know, he could bring because, you know, of who he is and. And what that would mean to offenses. You know, the same way Cincinnati, Cincinnati just picked up Dexter Lawrence had a half sec. I can't understand. But, yeah, yeah, yeah, they can. I. I've never really watched, you know him like that, but I'm looking at half stack and I'm like, whoa. You'll be thinking, you see what I'm saying? Like, and yeah, you'll be thinking that

That's not something they're going to be able to be like, oh, yeah, but it's. Because it's. No, they want to look and say, oh, my goodness, we're getting a guy that had 20 sacks. We're getting a guy that had 18 sacks. We're getting the guy that had 17 sacks. You know what I'm saying? That's. That's what they want to look for. And, you know, another thing is, dude, it's heavenly dependent on how it is. They see Nick Herbic, and if they see him, like, as the future of being, you know, one of their outside guys, because his agent has already said he sees him as one of the top, top. That means you're going to have to pay him top money. He's not going to take anything less. And we cannot give top money to three, three linebackers, brother. So if they know that or don't know, whatever that process is, if they know and it's like, yo, he's going to be that and they give him top money, then something has to be done. And if a trade is possible, like, say a trade became possible and you know, it's on the table and it's a team that's ready to trade for tj, then I'm. I'm gonna be honest. As a gm, you would have to sit there and be like, yo, let me listen to at least what they're saying to investigate the possibilities of it, because, hell, you got a whole new staff. You got new offense, you got new defense, new coordinators, you got. You you got. You got new everything. And now, you know, T.J. is, what, 32, 33, something like that? I don't know. And. And you're talking, you know, being attached to another. What is it? I think it's two years. It would be two. Two years at. So it'll be two years each at 32 or 42. 32 a year, 42 to the cap. And then I believe Highsmith is a little younger. I think he has a couple years left. And if that's the case, like, what are they looking at for future? Like, we got to start getting younger at some point. So if Sawyer is. Is the guy that's after that, like, is it now, you know, Herbic, that's coming with Sawyer being the thing with Highsmith stand there and then transitioning through, like, and, you know, picking up somebody in the draft later, you know, next year or however that process would be.
