so well for medical school. Explore over 350 plus programs at ASUonline, ASU, EDU. Look at this right now. The NFL owners, they're alarmed by the state of negotiation with the NFL Rest association and have authorized staff to begin hiring and onboarding replacement refs in the coming weeks. The NFL began compiling a list of college level officials to recruit earlier this month and owners are expected this week to approve a sweeping set of replay enhancements to support replacement officials in preseason and regular season games. A league source said the training of the new replacement officials will begin May 1st. Joe, how, how well, how well did that go in 2012when the NFL locked out the refs and they used college level refs, which they are saying they plan to use now, which led to bad cause, inconsistent calls, incorrect calls, because it was different rules. Like they weren't even calling the rules white, right?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
That lasted for three weeks and then it ended with what they call it, the, the Fail Mary incident with Seattle and Green Bay and the last play touchdown that cost Green Bay the game. First off, the play shouldn't even been judged or rude anything because Tate pushed 37 so hard to the ground that Stevie Wonder could see it. Okay. And it should have been an interception, but they don't know what they're looking at because what they say, simultaneous possession goes to the offense. But it wasn't simultaneous possession. The DB had it and the receiver reached his hand in there. So what happened? Players started complaining, the coaches started complaining, they criticizing, you know, the refs, the fans and the general public started complaining. And then it was like, yo, what's up with the credibility of the game? Then the gambling thing was an issue. Oh, there we go, Money, losing money. NFL said, oh, hold up, we about to lose money. Get the refs back. They worried about money, bro. What you think of this, man? Them using replacement refs again?
Joe
Joe I think they need to look the whole referee joint, it pisses me off because we're a professional NFL football league that have part time referees. Like there need to be our referees. I feel like the NFL referees need to first and foremost be full time refs. They need to be able to get judged by how they perform. They need to be able to get their stuff reviewed and get that stuff taken over. So the whole little league referee system that we're doing in the professional and the multi billion dollar business blows my mind. So getting replacement referees just D league, like what are we doing? This is a professional football league, y'. All. Were talking about the integrity of the games. All this. Why are we having part time refs reffing a big professional game done by the cream. Like this is supposed to be the best of the best. The business, business. Trillion dollar, billion dollar companies. Why do we have part time officials that are making sure that are like the games go by them, you know what I'm saying? So I think that starting from there, it's money. But we got so much we need to make it legit. Where we have legit full time and they get. I hear you, Debo, but with me it just, it just. It's crazy. And hiring replacement refs, it just makes it look even more junior varsity that we're playing in the NFL and now we're getting replacement refs come from college. That the rules. It is a different game. Like all of the little intangibles, the, the just the, the. The not even the big stuff. The two feet in bounds, you know what I'm saying? That they have one foot in college, the gunners, the in and out. How, how long you can stay out of bounds, how long you get to come back inbounds, the touching of the ball on the punts and anything. Just the little intangibles of our game that people were looking like, why do they do that? I'm like, no, no, you gotta. When you put one foot out of bounds and one foot in bounds on the kickoffs, little stuff special teams, just the little, little things of the league that you have to know. And it's like those are professional refs that have been doing it for a long time. They have. They should be going through training and making sure like this is what you do. There's reasons when you do mess up calls, you don't get to play ref in the playoffs. There's. You get in trouble like the same way players and everybody, you get. No, you stink.
Daniel Jeremiah
You're out.
Joe
You're fired. You're no longer NFL ref. There has to be repercussions to continued bad calls and not being able to do stuff in playoff games and Super Bowls and stuff like that. So with me, they. We need to have our own referees and replacement referees. Just makes it look even more junior varsity.
Debo
No question, dude. They need to be full time pay these dudes. Some of these cats are pilots and lawyers, dude. Like, how much time are they doing elsewhere? If this dude is a pilot, he's flying and he's a lawyer. Like, come on, bro. Like pay the man.
Joe
Pay that man some money. He's a rat.
Debo
Money. What they need. That's the whole reason right here. They said next week it's expected to approve a sweeping set of replays to enhance the support. Why? So they can try and get the play right. Even if they miss the play or don't get it right. That they can call and be like, hey, this need to be that. But then do you get into people talking about, oh, man, the NFL now is setting their own rules of who they want to win, not win, depending on what plays they review or don't review. They catch or don't catch. Now you getting into the whole gambling type issue thing and all that other stuff where they're like, now the NFL got control of whatever it is. So I think you running into. You running into. You know, a whole bunch of. You run into muddy waters here, man. You run into muddy waters here. And you know, they trying to be. Oh, it's scripted. Everything's scripted. Well, hell, if that's the case, they thinking something scripted, well, hell, they can change the script.
Joe
I'm telling you this because when you talk about the scripted part, though, Debo, I can't. I can only speak on myself and knowing of.
Debo
Speak on all of us.
Joe
Brother, brother, brother. How the hell I'm trying my hardest to not to get my ass beat over top on a fade ball. Like, I'm not worried. Like, I understand that, but like, for me, that is my livelihood. The eye in the sky don't lie. What are you doing, Joe? You just got your ass beat. Like, I can get cut. I will not play anymore. I'm looking at it like, no. Just for like, no. What are you supposed to be in your spot getting hit on that in front of my team when we go to that film room? The embarrassment of being on that big screen with your coach in front of everybody like this. What happened right here? And you know it's coming. I'm like this. I got beat. I got. I'm. I'm waiting for the tape the next day because I know I'm going to see that in the big screen. I'm gonna see that in the little meeting with the defense. I'm gonna see it again in our individual meeting. I'm about to get bombed up in three meetings in front of all of my homies and feel terrible. Cause I'm supposed to be him. He's not supposed to ever score on you. Like, that's how I feel. But when we looking at it, I'm like, oh, man, Joe, okay, you gotta get your head around what happened. What happened here. I'M like this. That's me. I gotta make that play. Ah, like
Debo
you sitting. Meeting you like, damn.
Joe
Play 23. Play 47.
Debo
I don't know.
Joe
Yeah, and you know you got that list. You got the joint. They got it. I know I missed that tackle comment right here, Joe.
Debo
What?
Joe
What? What did you. Nsa, What? What the hell? What? What the. WTF on it? Like, oh, my. Oh, my goodness. I can't wait till this play come. So, Joe, what we got here? On they play 23. That's me, coach. You know, I thought he was running that. That's. That's all me. That's me. I got to make that play. All right, next time. Yep.
Debo
Damn, bro, it ain't do it ain't nothing worse, dude. Especially like when I played for Coward, bro, when I played for Cower. The whole team sat in there for every special teams play. So we'd go through kick off, kickoff return, punt, pump return. The whole team was in there, bruh. He would replay, replay, replay.
Joe
What are you doing?
Debo
Are you accelerating or you decelerating? What the. What are you looking at, man? Me and foot, we'd be like there, man. Did you miss a block on the. Yeah, bro, I missed the blocking. You know, he all 11.
Joe
They're gonna rewind. You're sitting on one play for 20 minutes. Everybody gonna get theirs, bro.
Debo
Hey. Yes, bro. Everybody getting theirs.
Joe
Everybody getting theirs.
Debo
Ain't no shorts for nobody. No, ain't no shorts for nobody, bro.
Joe
But that's why I love football, though, bro. Cause that honest sky don't lie. If you made your block, you made it. You good? Oh, yeah. I'm gonna get a good one on this one. This is how we need it. Like, give me. Make me do a teach rep. So we're coaching like this now, Joe. That's how you get your leverage right there. Like. Yes. Come on, guys, you hear? Yeah. You heard that, right?
Debo
Right? That's how you do it.
Joe
Joe in there. Good feet. Good feet, Joe, about.
Debo
Hey, you see Joe? I'm like, oh, you see James right here? Oh, I did, right?
Joe
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Debo
Hey, dude, I never forget, man. So I was. I was nervous, right? So I'm playing and you know how you. You do a right or left return on kickoff?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
You could do the crack backs then.
Joe
Yeah, yeah.
Debo
So as we doing it, we're doing a right return, but we're facing this way. So the right return is here, right?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
So I don't got so damn nervous, bro, that I didn't turn to run and As I turned to run, I'm like, right return, right return. But I'm turning, running towards our guy now. So the right return that should be on my left is. Now I'm thinking is right.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
Total opposite, wrong direction. And as I get down there, I'm looking and I'm like, where the hell is he going? It's a right return. And as I start seeing everybody else doing the real right is my left because I done turned around.
Joe
Yeah. I'm like, oh, you know, you about to look.
Debo
I'm in the meeting, bro. Coach Cower. Go, James. What you doing here? What.
Joe
What are you.
Debo
It's a right return. Do you know it's the right return?
Joe
Did you get the call, Coach?
Debo
I know it's the right return, I said. But what had happened is I went for the. I was doing the right return, but when I turned around, I said my right was still on my right. Dude. He started laughing like, that's the only thing that got me out. Like, everybody like, yeah, that was. That was. He said what I said when I turned around, Coach, my right was still on my right, so I went for the right return. I was nervous.
Joe
Okay, okay, you. You can look, Debo. You probably get. You get that one time, right?
Debo
That one time, I. Oh, I told him one time. I go. We was blocking and, you know, we in the meetings and he's. He's going through the meetings and he's like, hey, whatever happens, you know, just go ahead, go hard. Da, da, da, da. He was like, cuz happens, you know? Right?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
So we in a play. I think they got me for like a holding penalty or something. And he comes over. James.
Joe
James.
Debo
I'll make it. Like, I don't hear him. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to the sideline, you know? You hear me, James? Silverback. Da, da, da. You know, that's when they called me silverback. So I turned. What. What happened there? And I was just like, coach, happens. You know what I'm saying?
Joe
He had nothing. You had nothing for him.
Debo
He had nothing to say. He was, like, busy and then was like, yeah, coach. You did say happens, though. Yeah. Like, you did say happens.
Joe
That's right. You took it on the chin. That's me. Happens.
Debo
Yeah, I. I had nothing else to say.
Joe
No. No excuses, dude.
Debo
Wide receiver Khalif Ran Raymonds chose to play for, I guess, the Bears over the. Over the Lions. So there was a chance to return to the Lions for a sixth season. An opportunity to rejoin a former or opportunity to rejoin a former coach of Chicago, he opted for the chance to play for Ben Johnson, who had been the offensive coordinator in Detroit before leaving their division rivals in 2025. He said, I wanted to play for Ben's offense. He's extraordinarily creative and honest, and you can be in any spot on the offense and he will find a way to get you the ball. Just to be under him is a great privilege. Joe.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
What is this saying? Is this. Is this a. Is this a knock at Detroit or is it a bump on the Bears?
Joe
Like, I think I'm going to bump on the Bears. I'm going to bump on the Bears. I'm going with young Caleb growing, getting better, looking good. And them dudes just thriving. Nothing against what's up.
Debo
Who they got over there at quarterback, bruh. In Detroit.
Joe
In Detroit.
Debo
Yes. Golf.
Joe
Golf. Okay. I mean, yeah, I like golf, but like young, young Caleb. Well, you acting like golf is better than Kayla Williams.
Debo
I'm taking. I'm taking golf.
Joe
Oh, you're doing. You're on. You're on some. You smoking more than that cigar. I'm taking Kayla Williams for sure.
Debo
I'm taking golf.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Taking off. I think it's more of the head coach.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Personally, because he said I wanted to play in Ben's offense.
Joe
Quarterback and coach. Quarterback and coach. I think if they had. Don't want to.
Debo
Don't forget Campbell took over play calling this year.
Joe
Now,
Debo
they didn't do great. They didn't make the playoffs, bro, after killing it early and years. Especially when he was coordinator in 25. Go back 25, bro.
Joe
I'm gonna tell you this. If I'm a young, I'm going with Caleb and them. He's young. I'm just saying I'm rocking you.
Debo
You.
Joe
You rather you. You going with Campbell.
Debo
I mean, I'm not going with Campbell. Yes. I'm gonna go the other way. You just said quarterback. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go to. Because I didn't like what. What happened. Especially when they could have went to the super bowl if he didn't play Russian roulette in the playoffs with going for fourth downs every time. Crazy. You can't do that when they get deep into the. When you're in the playoffs, dude. Ain't no. Ain't no making up for that.
Joe
No, for sure he could have made no he. That he was living. Living by the sword, dying by the sword. I like. I still like Campbell. I like the way they was coaching over there. But now they got rid of the running back, too. They lost Montgomery. I think Caleb is going to be a star and that the Bears are. The Bears are going to be trouble. Oh.
Debo
From his last year, I believe he's. He's going to. Yeah, he's going to develop into something.
Joe
But you saying that golf is better than they already.
Debo
They already doing. They already doing it in a super, super supernatural way right now. But once he gets his consistency together and have a real grip on getting that thing there now with his ability to shaking bake on you.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
Stop.
Joe
It's happening.
Debo
You got. You got Ben right there, baby. He just told you. Extraordinarily creative.
Joe
He knows what's up, man. Caleb gonna be the future. I like it,
Debo
man. I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. I just can't get over the painted nails.
Joe
Ah, Sam Debo.
Debo
I'm just keeping it 100. I just, you know, it ain't gonna happen.
Joe
But I just said I feel he's gotta. Yep. Just keep going. The main thing. The main thing. Long as he in that thing, he knows all the plays, all the adjustments, all of that. That's all that matters. In between those lines, Coach, please, you know, come out that gym, you know, and doing it on time, handling business, please.
Debo
Better understanding of the offense, defense, better understanding of the system. Everything.
Joe
Dude, bro, literally comfortable, moving smooth. Not like understanding being able to.
Debo
Just don't. Just. Just don't be missing no, you know, no, no, no, no practice time, coming late for nothing.
Joe
None of that. None of that. None of that. I'm talking about first one in. I'm thinking at the same time, I've never. I haven't heard anything about him. Like. Cause I know Caleb's pops and every. I'm. He's in there, he's studying the tape. He knows what's going on. He wants best. So, like, I never heard about anything about being late to any meetings, late to any, like, obligations.
Debo
He's in there shot at the nails, that's all. Bro.
Joe
I know you was. I know you was.
Debo
I bite my. You know I do my.
Joe
You ain't even got. You don't even have any nails. You don't have nails, man. Look at you. Just. Just don't even care.
Debo
I'm biting. Yeah, I'm just. I'm just biting. I used to. I used to get bored and just sit there and just chew on them.
Joe
Yep, you wild, wild man. Debo, man. Straight up. That's why you call Debo working.
Debo
I can't help it. I take I, I, I take and I, I, I, I take away the need to spend extra money. I told you I gotta find a way, Joe, I ain't got it.

Hey, I'm Wilmer Valderrama and this is Freddy Rodriguez. Welcome back to Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos, Season two, baby. This time we're going even deeper into our careers, our lives, our art, and everything in between. Each episode emanates from our very own speakeasy, where we swap stories about the moments that really shaped us on and off camera. What do we invest in right now? What is the immediate advice you give people right now is to value time, to be cognizant of time and how important time is, because once the time is up, it's up, and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that pushed us to grow. The common denominator is that we have the same people with us since, like 30, 40 years ago, right? Like, we have a lot of the same. Same homies that stuck around. Plus the door always stays open for a third amigo to pull up a chair. Listen to Dos Amigos as part of the Michael Dura Podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

Joe
I can't.
Debo
You dirty dog.
Joe
Oh, no. I ever can't see you see you with your leg out, toe up. Crazy man.
Debo
Bro, you. I. I honestly, I used to be able to. I think I saw. I think so. I ain't that no, bro.
Joe
You got to tell me what age did you stop doing that?
Debo
Oh, man, I was. I had to be a kid, man.
Joe
Okay. I was about to say you had to be. When you had to be under double digits, you had to be at least got at 6,5. Because once you 13 year old, Debo.
Debo
Yeah, I was young, man. I think. I think I might have bit that toenail off one time.
Joe
I had.
Debo
No, I ain't, I ain't. I ain't know how to use no fingernail clippers, so I bit that big toenail one time.
Joe
Oh. Oh, man, I wasn't ready for that one.
Debo
I'm just saying, bro. I'm just saying. Hey, man, listen. Who, who, who. He preferred Buffalo. I mean, sorry. The Bears, obviously.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
Who would you like if you could come back right now, you still had your skill. Who would you. Who would you want to play for?
Joe
I ain't gonna. For me, I would want to play for the Lions. I want to play for the Lions. I love the coach. I love that. I just, I just love the way that he, the previous. How he was a previous player. Love his energy, love how he moves, you know, So I, I don't. I would probably want to play for that coach if it was me. But quarterback wise, I think Kayla's the better quarterback.
Debo
Okay.
Joe
But I would definitely, probably want to play for the Lions. I think I like him a little more.
Debo
So you going?
Joe
I'm a player coach kind of guy. I mean, you're going.
Debo
You're going for the. You going for the coach that you like. Yeah, understandable. Understandable.
Joe
And golf is not bad too. I mean, that coach, quarterback combo, like you said, it's not bad.
Debo
Oh, yeah, for sure. You can't go wrong with that.
Joe
And I got Gibbs comes out on
Debo
the AFC north, though, on, you know, top this year. Who you. Who you got coming out?
Joe
Hold on. Who you got?
Debo
Stop playing with me, bro.
Joe
Who you got? Because we see. We always doing it because we ain't nobody got the full rosters. I'm gonna know is I don't need no food. You already know what it is.
Debo
I know the moves we done made. I know the moves y'. All. Y' all done made. I know the moves some people ain't made. I notice some. I know the move some people can't make. And it ain't nobody that you go get right now. Let's go change that in first, second, third, fourth, fifth round. You thinking that your. Your guy Andrew Barrett can get something, let's go change that or one of those other teams.
Joe
We need to get. We. We go get. We go get two. Two dog receivers out of this draft. I'm talking about two dogs and another. And then two more offensive linemen just for. Just for skill and depth.
Debo
So what you said.
Joe
No, no. I mean, I'm going with. I'm going with. I'm going with the Steelers. I'm going with the Steelers. And then second, I want to see what. What we do with the receivers and our. With. With the rest of the receivers and offensive line because our defense is a. Defense is what it is. Boom. We're going to be cold. Our offense, we got to be able to score at least 24, like 20, 21, 24 points a game at least. If we could do that. And our defense is going to be able to hold teams to under 16 points. I like us to win a lot of games. So once we get.
Debo
What do you call a lot of games, Joe?
Joe
A lot of games. Okay, over 10, because we know four is 10 to 7. 10 to 7. 10 to 7.
Debo
10 to 7. Why are you going down?
Joe
10 and 7 is our record. 10 and 7, Tim. We have. We have. We had five. That's doubling what we had last.
Debo
Okay. Okay. You good?
Joe
Yeah, I'm. What you what?
Debo
You're comparing it to that trash that y' all had? It's perspective is everything.
Joe
Coming in like this year with. Yeah, Shador, with this good squad. We go 10 to 7.
Debo
Okay, so where does that put the Steelers, y'?
Joe
All? I mean, we need to want to see who the quarterback is. But I'm saying right now. 11, 12. 11. 11 to 12. 11 to 12 wins. 12 wins.
Debo
2, 4, 6, 12 and 5. Cincinnati, Cleveland Ravens. I'll say maybe 13 and maybe 14 and 3.
Joe
See you. Okay. No, that's not. I'm saying I'm going 12 for the Steeler, going 10 for the Browns.
Debo
So everybody else is in the basement.
Joe
Where the Ravens? Yeah, Ravens probably what they. 8, 8, 9 and s. 9 and 7. What's that? 9 and 8. 9 and 8. Yeah, 9 and 8 and Bengals. Ah, sorry. 7 wins. 7 and 10. 7.
Debo
A lot of wins.
Joe
6. What? 6 and 11.
Debo
You got 7 with them. You got 9 with them, 10 with y', all, and 12 with us.
Joe
Oh, our division gonna be 5. That's the thing we got. Joe Burrow's not gonna be playing. Lamar Jackson's still Lamar Jackson. You know what I'm saying? I'm not gonna disrespect our division. Our division's nice. So that's why our. That's why the Browns, I'm looking at. We gotta be able to have offense. We gotta be able to put up some points. Our defense has always been in there with all the other AFC defenses. We in there every time, sometimes better,
Debo
but we can't score.
Joe
Listen, listen. Listen, fool. You gonna let me. If we can't score, then we can't win. So let's get us some offense. To where? Oh, man.
Debo
Whoa.
Joe
We got 30. And the defense, like. Oh, my God, are you kidding me? We could really go out here and take off and get some more sacks. We don't have to. Bimba don't know. We getting. We going after him. We up. We gotta lead.
Debo
I'm so lost on the weeds right now.
Joe
Listen, when I'm talking about the Browns, you jump on with me. Cause you from Ohio. You lived in Ohio. Hell, I will just take it. Just take it. Just let me go.
Debo
I eat shit. Dying.
Joe
When you. Always.
Debo
When we go with the bronze, when
Joe
we go with the Steelers, you know, obviously, I'm rocking, so I let you just. We're going. But when I'm going, let me flow.
Debo
We. I just needed you to clarify the we.
Joe
We is me, you and my brows, bruh.
Debo
Hey, say something else. That ain't we. Okay, say us.
Joe
Us. Okay, I'll say us. I say us. I say us.
Debo
I ain't part of that we.
Joe
So, yeah, we'll know is that I. We'll know exactly. But, yeah, that's what I'm saying. Steelers, 12, Browns, 10.
Debo
Still is 12. Browns 10. Cincinnati, seven.
Joe
And Cincinnati. Cincinnati. Maybe Cincinnati may be seven. Seven. Seven. Seven or six. Six or seven. Six or seven.
Debo
That's a lot of wins, bro.
Joe
That's not a lot of wins. It's a great division. It's going to be competition.
Debo
So, what's the divisional breakdown?
Joe
The Steelers are going to win the division, and the Browns are going to end up getting in by record.
Debo
Smart man. Smart man. The other part ain't too smart. But the first part, like I said, common sense ain't too common no more. But, hey, even. Hey, Even a blind dog, you know what I'm saying?
Joe
He.
Debo
He. He can find the meat. You know what I'm saying?
Joe
All you gonna do all that.
Debo
Hey, listen, right? Twice a day, baby, telling Sunshine, hey, Sunshine on every dog's ass. Once in a while, I could keep going, you know.
Joe
You know, you. I hit. I. I hit the exact. I hit the records on point, though. Like, just wait.
Debo
Remember, y'. All. Hey, y', all, you heard it.
Joe
You heard it. Here still is 12, Browns, 10, Ravens. What was it?
Debo
Nine.
Joe
Nine. Yep. And the Bengals, seven or six.
Debo
Seven or six. I. I give you. So I'll let you play with seven or six right there.
Joe
Yeah, please.
Debo
Yeah. Because I'm. I'm just trying to see where all these, like, the divisional records is gonna be. Something like, it got. Like. That's. That's.
Joe
I had it. Yeah. Because I had it last year.
Debo
Hold up. Because I had it. You had the records last year.
Joe
No, I didn't. I had what they did last year.
Debo
Oh, okay.
Joe
Yeah. The predictions. They always thinking that people gonna win more than they did. Except for the Browns, they had us at 4, and we went 5, and y'.
Debo
All. And y' all went double it. Y' all held up. Y' all into the bargain.
Joe
We gonna double it this year, though. Good old 10. Because we losing by extra points, field goals, no telling.
Debo
And y'.
Joe
All.
Debo
And y' all keeping Miles. Cause y' all ain't trading.
Joe
We keeping Miles until right now, he's still on the squad for sure. Until somebody tries to come out there with something crazy, you know?
Debo
Yeah.
Joe
Yeah. But right as of right now, we're going in with Miles, and we gonna go draft those receivers and those linemen and gonna rock out. We don't need to get nobody. The defense, fine. Corners, fine. Safety's fine. Linebackers, fine. D line, fine. We could go. We always get another interior D lineman. Okay, maybe. But besides that, offensive line, receivers, fire, then.
Debo
Did you need some or you had them just.
Joe
No, this is what we. We have all the other stuff, but we need.
Debo
Okay.
Joe
And the. In the O line.
Debo
I'm just. I was just.
Joe
I was just trying to tell you.
Debo
We go. We're gonna go ahead and jump into this. This super chat right here, brother. We got Duff and tail, gang. You're. What. Is that Canadian? Is that Canadian money? Somebody tell me.
Joe
Oh, you know, I.
Debo
Yes, it is Canadian money.
Joe
That's Canadian money.
Debo
That's Canadian money. Which equates to I don't know, but I know it ain't. I know it Ain't too much less, because if it was pesos, it might have. We might have been paying somebody.
Joe
Thank you.
Debo
You know what I'm saying?
Joe
So what'd they say?
Debo
They said, debo, you ever come to Canada? I'm right across the river from Detroit. Windsor. The real South Detroit.
Joe
Oh,
Debo
there ain't no South Detroit. That's just Canada. That's it.
Joe
Hold on.
Debo
That's it. I have been to what part of Canada was I in?
Joe
I don't know.
Debo
I was in. It might have been.
Joe
Was it was Toronto? No, because I know I spent.
Debo
Might have been Toronto.
Joe
Love Toronto. Beautiful. Clean as all. No one went to the Raptors versus Cavs.
Debo
It was another one, too, though. Another. I actually see somebody up there in. It's one of my therapy people I see up there. Oh, man. Where is it? I would have to look. Is it Calgary? I've been to Calgary, too.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Been to Calgary and Toronto.
Joe
All the people I meet from Canada, been super nice. Always.
Debo
Yeah. And I think I stayed at the Marriott. Super Bowl 40.
Joe
Super Bowl 40. Was in Canada.
Debo
No, it was in Detroit. So you're looking at the. You looking at Canada. Oh, stayed on the river across the. Across that, you know, Detroit River.
Joe
Okay, okay, okay.
Debo
Covenant life. C. Back $5.
Joe
Yes, sir.
Debo
Joe.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
Where was you at Friday? Coming to life. I need to know where you was at. We ain't used to not seeing you, Joe. Yo, fan. C. He's. His sacks drop to 7.0. What are we missing on the tape? That still makes him a nightmare for DBs. For DBs.
Joe
Who. For defenses. I say covered. He. He didn't. How many. How many games did he play last year? Yeah, tj.
Debo
Okay, you lost me with the db.
Joe
I'm saying. But tj, how many games did he play last year? Debo, Like.
Debo
Well, you gotta realize he also came back earlier than they expected from that prompt. Yeah, I don't know if he was 100 anyway. Did he do something early in the season? Did he have something happened earlier in the season?
Joe
I think so. We just. You. We just did this year. This is what I'm saying. You got to give him a little bit of the benefit of the doubt. It's like it's. You got seven. Seven db.
Debo
Think lost me. Maybe. She's talking about old tackles.
Joe
His. He got all the moves. He comes off the ball super fast. He got. He got it all. He can bend. He got hands like. He's explosive off the ball still. TJ's still a dog. It's just when he's, we just need him to be out there 16 games when he's on the, every time he produces, he's going to make something happen. He's going to make a force fumble, he's going to bat a pass down, he's going to create a sack. Tjy, every time he's on the field he's going to make an impact, especially when he's healthy. So I would just want to give him a little bit of benefit of the doubt. 1,000%. Seven sacks isn't what we look for when we look at TJ. But let's give him, we don't need seven sacks two years in a row while he's out there 16 games. If TJ's out there 16 games and hopefully let's hope he does because now it gets to the point where you are making $40 million a year. It is what have you done for me lately? Last year was seven and a half cool. Tj, we know it is what it is this year. Obviously come back out there, do what you gotta do, be a game changer, game record like I know that you can be. Because making that, that's what it applies. You know what I'm saying? So it's tough every single year just doing that. But right now, down year one time now, this year, if TJ's not giving us those numbers now, we can really have that conversation, you know what I'm saying? But I'm expecting him to come out there, play the season, all the games and just watch. He's going to get picks, he's going to have forced fumbles, he's going to have double digit sacks. And that's just what you get when you get TJ Watt on the field.
Debo
For sure. For sure. Joe Brown suck at Brown.
Joe
Oh man. Go ahead.
Debo
What are they talking about the Brown? No, it's, that's the usual. It said Pac man looking like George Clay Brown suck came again with $10. He said, James, you've called the current defense trash in their alignment. Is that a lack of talent on the field or have the modern NFL rules just made your brand of football impossible to play? My, my comment of trash was their actual play and yes it was scheme alignment assignment. Like we don't know what we're looking at out there and as far as where guys are supposed to feel because of how guys are are playing or, or not playing being taught. Not taught schematically. Like are you feeling where you're supposed to? Because we're seeing guys and two guys who we're also seeing guys that just are obviously getting, you know, pushed back into people. And then we have guys that looks like they're filling the wrong gap. So it looks schematically that it was just incorrect. And I know the alignment assignment things were not the same as what they were when I played. Hell, I don't even think they were same as when you played Joe. So looking at that, it's just not even, you know, nine two. It's just, you know what I'm saying, Like I'm used to looking at something different. And we'll actually have a chance to possibly talk to someone who knows what that defense actually looks like. And they have trouble sorting through just looking at it through play because of how much of it has changed. And you can't change a defense that is structured a certain way because when you change the defense, you change the roles and positions of the players and all that. You, you open up other gaps. Every defense, just like every offense has one weakness. When you try and cover that one weakness, you open up multiple other weaknesses and, you know, spots where your defense can be hurt. And I think that's what we were dealing with a lot of in the last, you know, year or two.
Joe
I think you want to look at it both ways. When you're saying trash, like sometimes they just weren't playing well and then sometimes, like you were saying, people being in two gaps, what is the system? What is really going on? So I think it's a little bit of both. We know the players that we had out there, they're good enough. So we're just looking at the tape, wanting to know you gotta be in your. When you say alignment assignment technique, be in your spot when you're supposed to be there, have your eyes on the right place. So a lot of that stuff is some of that individual. Some of us. Have you been coached. So we going, we're just going to be watching every week to see. But I feel like the players can make the plays. You just got to be able to do it every play because they have. Because they could be. Seen them do it before.
Debo
Yeah, yeah. Covenant like $5. She said James, after the 100 yard return in the Super bowl was at 43, most guys would be at the club. Is it true that you were back in the gym at 6am the next day? That is not true that I was back in the gym at 6am the next day, but the day after because you stay there. And I just wanted, I wanted to remember this one, to be honest with you. So the first one that I won. Listen, I ain't gonna lie to you. I don't remember getting off the bus. I got. I got on the bus, and somebody handed me a bottle of something, and I don't remember getting off the bus. I had family, Joe. I had family come down that drove because it was at Detroit. They came down, and I guess they kicked it with me. I guess we went to Casino. We did all that, you know, and they kicked it with me all night and got up the next morning, and my mom and dad like, hey, I'm like, who? Your brother, Your sister? They came down, and I'm like, no, they didn't. I ain't see him. So that was back when you had to wait for the film to, you know, like, get developed. You know what I'm saying? So they had a little camera dude, film got developed, and I'm like, oh, my God. I'm sitting there like, yeah, hey, out of it. Out of it. And I was like, yo, if I win another one, I'm not. I'm not drinking. I'm not doing. I want to remember. So I did not. I did not drink. I wasn't at the gym. But after we got home, I did get to the gym the next day, though, for sure. Covenant. No, sorry. Brown suck is back. $5. Hey, Browns. Hey. He said, hey. Covenant life. Ask Joe the same question. What did he do after the Steelers won? Joe, what did you do after the Steelers won?
Joe
What. What I do to this at the stills Won What?
Debo
He's talking about the Super Bowl. We won in. What did you do after we won? What would you. What was you doing?
Joe
I don't. I wasn't a part of the Steelers organization or nothing like that, so I don't even. I was just chilling. I think I might have been out in. I don't. I don't even remember where I was at. I ain't gonna lie.
Debo
It wasn't a celebration for you, obviously.
Joe
I mean, I did. This was before I even. This. Before I played.
Debo
I know.
Joe
You know, So I was just like.
Debo
You just stopped. Was over with in January, and you didn't even. You didn't even know. I wasn't even played after. After. After December, the end of December. Did you.
Joe
I wasn't even in the. But I wasn't in the snow. I didn't do anything.
Debo
I wasn't saying. You finally found out that it was football played after December, at the end of December in 2017. That's when you found out, right?
Joe
No, I. Funny, man, Debo. Funny guy.
Debo
Funny guy.
Joe
No, I knew it was football. I was watching y' all from wherever it was at in Miami in the off season or California somewhere.
Debo
Okay, okay.
Joe
Y' all play.
Debo
I was watching, like, back with tonight. She said, why don't Browns fans ever have to worry about their kids running away from home to join the circus?
Joe
Oh, why?
Debo
Because. She said, because they already spent every Sunday watching a group of clowns try to handle a football. Wow.
Joe
Wow. Okay, coveted. Okay, coveted. Oh, now she funny. Now she a comedian.
Debo
Hold up, hold up. She back again. Hold up, hold up. She back again. 20, 20, 20, 20 bucks. Joe.
Joe
She's firing me up for the go ahead.
Debo
She said, james, why did Ocho stop trying to bribe the rest with the dollar? Why? Why you think? She said, why did Ocho stop trying to bribe the rest with a dollar?
Joe
I don't know.
Debo
She said, because he realized that if he really wanted to see a flag, all he had to do was stand within 5ft of you while they were greeting the quarterback.
Lily Herman
Huh?
Joe
Nope. Something about you.
Debo
Yeah, while I was greeting the quarter up.
Joe
Oh, while you were greeting the quarterback.
Debo
Yeah, they. They flagged the ball. They flagged the dog piss out of me.
Joe
Yeah, they did, because you was leading with that. Leading with your dome.
Debo
No, bro, you hit too hard.
Joe
If you hit too hard, you're gonna get a flag.
Debo
You'll get a flag. That's what it was.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
You got to realize, man.
Joe
No, for sure, for sure.
Debo
If it look.
Joe
If it looks too bad.
Debo
Listen, dude, they were trying. They was trying to get out of that lawsuit. They knew it was coming up. That's what it was, man. They're trying to protect their money, man, because prior to that, they making the big hits videos on it. You got jacked. All that other stuff.
Joe
Jacked up.
Debo
Yes, yes. Act up. All that you like. Come on, man. The picture of me popping him. They had it up already selling it. They only took it down after I said something about it. That's it.
Joe
Yep. Bruh, you was out there hitting them Brown suck, cat.
Debo
Brown suck. I'm just telling you the names.
Joe
Yeah, you Screams just.
Debo
I guess that's how many times y' all just read what went over the career of y' all organization. $10 said, I enjoy the show so much, but these damn ads are out of control. By the way, the Steelers. His skit it. By the way, the Steelers will be.
Joe
Get.
Debo
Will be going to the playoffs this year, and we will have number seven with Will Howard
Joe
when I'm. I'm not.
Debo
What do you think of that? What do you think of that, Joe?
Joe
I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad at it. I like, I. I like Will come
Debo
out there and give us. Look, we're being gay.
Joe
And if Will comes out, defense come
Debo
and give us what the defense is known to be able to give us, we got it. We got a damn good shot against seven.
Joe
Got us team, bro. The players, the names. Everybody got to go out there and perform like we got. Like, if you just looked at it on paper, paper looks amazing. Then we just need like we said that quarterback, if it was a rod in there. And I think this team that we have is better than the team that we had last year on, like just far as filling up as far as cornerback on paper. So if coaches out there, I think,
Debo
I think, I think we have a better group all around.
Joe
I think we have a better group all around. So if you go out there and everybody goes out there and performs to the level, everybody does the best that their job, what they can do. I'm not asking nobody go out there and do above and beyond what we believe that they can do or what we've seen them do before. Like, everybody goes out there and locks in, plays on their thing, plays complimentary football. Special team.
Debo
You're going to be. You're going to be taught the right things. You're going to be. Everybody's going to be teaching the same thing. You know what I'm saying?
Joe
Yeah. You always been in the mix, so you know what I'm saying now it's like get over the edge. Those games that you lose by a little. No, we find a way to win those games and that's how you get to that 14 and three, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's not too difficult.
Debo
Yeah, yeah. Come to life. Back again. $10. She said I missed y' all because I had a physical. That's why she missed.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
She said, I watched the replay and James, leave Joe's children alone. But she also said, Joe, yes, coach him up. But I am for the baby Sons team. The Stillers.
Joe
Yes. Thank you. You know the Stillers. She did say, okay, the Stillers team. Okay, Both teams. I got two teams. My boy, man, my son was born in the land.
Debo
Hey, I'm just saying, bro, she know who she fold. We got it. We got another one right here. Canada back Duff intel gang year 27.99 Canadian.
Joe
Love it.
Debo
Joe. One of my buddies is a die hard Browns fan and I'm obviously on the Good side. Yes, sir. You are obviously on the good side. And when we signed you in 17, he was sad you left, but happy for you because he said they did you dirty. Please tell him it's okay to be a Stiller.
Joe
Wow. It is. It is. I appreciate you. It is okay. It is okay to be a Brown. It is okay to be a student.
Debo
No, it's not.
Joe
Yes, it is. Yes, it is. It's okay to be a Stella. Hey, y' all all welcome me in there.
Debo
It's okay.
Joe
Y' all welcome.
Debo
Hey. It's essential to be a Steeler. You would have never knew what it felt like. You would have went your whole career and you would have had nothing. Nothing but the Browns to remember. You would have had nothing. You would have had no feel. You would have knew nothing about what legacy is. You would have knew nothing about.
Joe
Don't do that. I do. No legacy of losing.
Debo
Oh, gosh. You would have never even seen a Lombardian person. You got to walk by sex of them every day. Walk by in your facility. Legendary. A legacy. Legacy.
Joe
It just sucks. I didn't get to. You know what it did. I didn't get to bring one to either squad, so I. It didn't matter. Those are other people's trophies. Those are your trophies. Those are Joe Green's trophies, you know, so I wasn't able to bring one to Cleveland. I wasn't able to bring one to Pittsburgh. I'm out there walking. I'm out there play pimping, walking by Yalls trophies. So get out of here, Debo. Don't want to hear. Don't want to hear. I'm already, you know, I'm trying.
Debo
You know, you would have never knew what it felt like to actually be like, yo, we got a chance of winning the super bowl every year. You know what it feels like to say it. You know what it feels like to say it, but actually be there when it's time that the group is made. That's go going.
Joe
You know what it was. You know what it was, though, Deebo, Because I was so freaking good in college that I had to get drafted to a team that wasn't as good yet. So when you go first round, seventh pick, sometimes you can't go to the best teams yet. You know what I'm saying? I was trying to go. You know what I'm saying? That's why I think that's really understand. That's why. Okay.
Debo
That's why I made sure that I'm like, you know what I'm gonna Go to a smaller school. Yeah. Don't draft.
Joe
Go to the best team ever.
Debo
I don't want to be drafted. You know why? Because I want to go where they already good organization that I know know how to do it. Not a team that you was drafted by that still can't do it, ain't never did it and will never be able to do it.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
You know.
Joe
Okay. Yeah.
Debo
Joe, you could have played that 30
Joe
years and it still wouldn't have did it, huh?
Debo
It still. It still wouldn't have made no difference.
Joe
Joe.
Debo
Unit. But, you know, it takes 10, $2. What you say, Joe?
Joe
It takes a team.
Debo
It takes a team, but y' all don't know how to build one over there in Cleveland.
Joe
He's trying right now. Hopefully they trying to.
Debo
No, he not. He been. We already went over there. Aaron Barry started. He started tripping. He back there. He in McDonald's. He might do.
Joe
He just tells him. Yeah, he just don't talk. He starts talking about Ty Simpson, man. Don't talk about Ty Simpson. We already got the quarterback spot right now. You was talking about the receivers. I'm happy talking about the. The. The. The tackles. Okay. Talking about defensive linemen. Okay. Yes. Let's do it. Why are we talking about quarterback right now?
Debo
I'm just saying, man. I'm just saying, dude, we got unit 25, 10, $2. Said, do you think we need to move 90 around more? I don't think we need to move 90 around MORE. I honestly just think the whole scheme of what we were doing, dude, was just so often so changed. Like. Like I said, I was saying before, like, when you go and you change a defense and you have a guy doing something that he doesn't do anymore. Now, I'm gonna keep it. Listen, we're gonna get the ball on here, okay? Okay. So we're gonna get Dick LeBaron here. I was trying to hold it back, but we go get him on here. Okay? But what you gotta understand is this defense right here, it gives a certain look. Now, as long as you keep that look, you got three or four other defense that look exactly the same, but it's different people coming in, different responsibilities. Now, if I change what one person is doing, I lose the effect of these three other defenses. Now, they can tell them apart. We started changing stuff. And what is Dick LeBeau's defense? You can't do that. So you lose the threat of certain things. So if you go and change him around, you're not doing anything but letting them know that he's going to like Rush from this other side because it's not defenses where he's going to be on that side. When I would switch sides, Dick Lebo had two or three other defenses where I would be on that side doing something totally different from what the one is that they wanted me on that side for.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
So we lost a lot of that in that. In that process.
Joe
Look, let me tell you this. Let me get back to you. Keep on talking about the Browns legacy. How about I keep on Jim Brown? We did win a championship in 64, so you gotta just. I don't care.
Debo
It's not even called a Super Bowl. It's called a championship.
Joe
I don't care.
Debo
I said Super Bowl.
Joe
I don't care. I don't care. You just gotta put. I just gotta say that.
Debo
Okay. You gotta say that Brown's legacy ended
Joe
when he was disrespect. Yes. Cause we just can't disrespect.
Debo
Okay.
Joe
Just can't disrespect Jim Brown.
Debo
I mean, the Lions World 3 won three World Championships then too. So.
Joe
But look, you know what? Talk about it.
Debo
And the legacy ended.
Joe
Okay,
Debo
listen, listen. Barry couldn't even get one. Coldest. Couldn't even get one.
Joe
Yeah, no, for sure.
Debo
Couldn't even get one.
Joe
And that's what I'm telling you though.
Debo
Do you think, you know why do
Joe
you think Matthew Stafford, prime example, he was in there the whole time dodging and dealing, doing what he had to do for the Lions. Do you really think that it was just because of Matthew Stafford that didn't win a championship? Soon he go to the Rams team organization, he's doing his 1 11th championship. Like it's hard to win championships. There are amazing talents. Barry Sanders like you said, Calvin without one. All the Buffalo Bills that went there, Jim Kelly went there in a row, smacked. So Deebo, feel honored that you was on the team with all the amazing players with you alongside you, the amazing coaches, the amazing staff, the amazing owner.
Debo
Yes.
Joe
It took.
Debo
Listen, I've been trying to tell you, this took everything. Hey, it could be done.
Joe
Time is up. Time is up, man. I'm good. I'm good on this show.
Debo
Two, three. It was. It was done by the chief to Mr. Rooney, old man room to. To Art now. Hey, you know who next? Little Dan. He gonna be after that baby.
Joe
Yeah, Little Dan on the way. I love little Dan. Lil Dan and Lil Dana hit every part and Lil Dan have been everywhere.
Debo
Stop playing with me, man. Look here, man, we got, we got, we got, we Got two more we're gonna hit through real quick. Okay, we got. Oh, my goodness. We got. We got Chip one. We got Chip. Is that is. It's Chip. I think it's chip. It say CH1P. I want to say it's Chip. Debo. And Joe, if you had to build 17 no defense with current and retired players, what would you want on that squad? Dude, who would I want on that squad? Listen, I'm just gonna have to tell you. We're gonna have to come back on that one.
Joe
That's.
Debo
That's. That's more than. That's more time than we got.
Joe
That's the segment. I want to run that. We can run that.
Debo
We're running that back. We'll run that back. We'll get to y' all on that one tomorrow. And coming to life. Hit us back again. Ten lives. Do you. Do y' all cut? What? Do what y' all have.
Joe
Y' all have cut up.
Debo
I've cut up today. I'm here for it. I'm going to apply to drive the golf cart for Tyco.
Joe
Oh, my God. See, that's that.
Debo
I'm going to apply to drive the golf cart for Tiger Woods. Joe, come down to the Masters and help me root for my boy Bryson dechambeau.
Joe
Shamble dechambeau. Dechambo, yeah.
Debo
Who was Bryson dechamble?
Joe
This Bryson dechambeau is a professional golfer. That's nice as hell, Debo. And he's probably might try to go win the Masters. Probably. I think he might. I think he's won it before. Big time YouTuber, great golfer. I follow Bryson DeChambeau. I'm gonna be watching for show. And Tiger Woods.
Debo
Is Tiger gonna be able to play?
Joe
Brother, did you not just see Tiger woods just flip his whip?
Debo
They say he ain't hurt himself, so
Joe
that's what I'm telling you, man. This I. I love Tiger sad. You Tiger, you got too much dough. You gotta just get a driver. You got to. You got to. You don't need my man Tiger out here. Everybody wants Tiger to win for sure. And then this just flipping the car. It's a lot of car.
Debo
Listen, me, bro, you ain't. You don't need to be behind a wheel.
Joe
That's what I'm saying. Here's a plane. If you have a plane left and right.
Debo
You flipping lip like you flipping whips left. You got too much paper. Like. I don't know what it is. I know I'm a type of person. I like to drive myself. I like to drive Myself.
Joe
That's what I'm saying. But you gotta know, if I can't
Debo
drive, I'm gonna let somebody else drive. I tell you know what, Joe? I take it back. I'm the type of person that I would let somebody else drive me, I just don't want to pay for it. But the kind of money Tiger got,
Joe
I wouldn't drive Tiger Woods.
Debo
That's why Joe don't drive. Joe don't drive, man.
Joe
When I'm out there, I had to. Look, Debo, this is what I'm saying. People like to drive. Yeah.
Debo
You had a driver. Go ahead, tell him. You had a driver come all the way out to Cali.
Joe
I did have a driver. I did have a driver. And that's because every time, sometimes that was for my kids, sometimes I was for family. But ever I went out and went to the golf course, I knew I was gonna have a couple of beverages with my friends. So why would I even risk just. If you ever gonna drink, you can. People can get Ubers, all that, but
Debo
like, you don't like Ubers.
Joe
I don't mind. I don't mind Uber, but I'm like, end of the day, the Ubers are getting expensive. Uber's 150 for.
Debo
For TMZ said he want to drive because of privacy concerns. I understand that, but what you go and do is you go and get you NDA.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
You get you an NDA and you get you something that roll up, lock up Debo, end of it, whatever that is. I don't know.
Joe
Unless you just a nice little spinner,
Debo
whoever you with, I don't know. But my thing is get, get you get you get you a non disclosure agreement and, and keep it moving like that.
Joe
And it's. And that's not hard.
Debo
You ain't got a homeboy that you trust. You know what I'm saying? Like Debo, I'm gonna hire my ace.
Joe
Boom.
Debo
Cool. Before I go and just telling you
Joe
out here reckless, I'm telling you. And you can have a 24, 7. I'm talking about 247 driver on course, on command.
Debo
Dudes on that money he got. I've got a 247 driver. If I had that kind of Joe cooking, I ain't eating leftovers. I'm being like Tom Brady shot. I don't. They don't even know what a microwave. They don't even know how what. They don't even know what it is to warm up food no more. Tom said he ain't warmed up no food in like, seven, eight years. Eight Leftover. What?
Joe
Yes, brother.
Debo
That's all I eat.
Joe

Debo

Joe

Debo

Joe

The hosts field spirited "super chat" questions from fans, debate divisional prospects, and share personal anecdotes from their playing days. The conversation moves seamlessly from cutting critiques of the league to classic banter about Browns vs. Steelers, culminating in lighthearted and brutally honest football talk.
"They worried about money, bro. What you think of this, man? Them using replacement refs again?" — Deebo [04:31]
“Getting replacement referees just D league, like what are we doing? This is a professional football league, y’all... Why are we having part time refs reffing a big professional game?” — Joe [05:00]
“If that's the case, they thinking something scripted, well, hell, they can change the script.” — Deebo [08:36]
“How the hell I'm trying my hardest not to get my ass beat over top on a fade ball… the eye in the sky don't lie.” — Joe [08:46]
“I ain't know how to use no fingernail clippers, so I bit that big toenail one time.” — Deebo [26:04]
“I’m taking Goff.” — Deebo [16:00]
“You smoking more than that cigar. I’m taking Caleb Williams for sure.” — Joe [16:01]
[52:38] Joe reflects on his transition from Browns to Steelers, the pain of never winning a Lombardi, and being surrounded by legacy in Pittsburgh.
Deebo jabs:
“You would have never even seen a Lombardi in person. You got to walk by stacks of them every day… Legendary. A legacy. Legacy.” [53:00]
Joe returns fire:
“Those are other people’s trophies… I wasn’t able to bring one to the Browns, I wasn’t able to bring one to Pittsburgh.” [53:25]
Browns’ lone championship in 1964, Jim Brown era, and post-merger futility discussed.
The episode stays true to the hosts: candid, unfiltered, and loaded with ex-player insight. Deebo and Joe fuse knowledge of the league’s inner workings—labor disputes and scheme breakdowns—with the everyday humor, trash talk, and wisdom unique to NFL locker rooms. Whether debating dubious refereeing, reliving hard-knock meeting rooms, or trading Steelers-Browns barbs, their tone is both raw and fun, connecting directly with superfan questions and never shying from tough truths.
If you want an irreverent, no-nonsense football conversation—equal parts inside-baseball and locker room comedy—this episode delivers. You’ll get critical perspectives on the NFL’s officiating crisis, bold division predictions, and plenty of raw, unvarnished truth about team culture and what it means to win (or not) in the pros.
