This is Julian Edelman from Games with Names. This message is brought to you by Pizza Hut. Because if you're yelling hut on Sundays, why not yell pizza first?
James Debo Harrison
So Pizza Hut just put out one of the coolest, like, funniest challenges maybe ever.
Julian Edelman
Pizza Hut. What is it?
James Debo Harrison
Basically, if a quarterback says pizza before they say hut, Pizza Hut will give that quarterback city a pizza party.
Julian Edelman
Is this real?
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. Isn't that crazy?
Julian Edelman
You think coaches are bringing this up in team meetings?
James Debo Harrison
You think a pizza party is worth a false start?
Julian Edelman
Or what if they got the other team to jump off sides with a Pizza Hut?
James Debo Harrison
Hey, whatever it takes this time of year.
Julian Edelman
100% this weekend. Let us know if you hear Pizza Hut. I know. I'll be listening.

Welcome back to Deebo and Joe. I'm your host, James Debo Harrison, and I'm here with my co host, Joe Harrison Hayden. Please make sure you guys like and subscribe. You don't want to miss nothing. How you doing today, Joe?
Joe Harrison Hayden
Brother. Brother Debo. I'm doing great, my guy. Good Friday. Another day the Lord has made for me to be here.
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Good man.
James Debo Harrison
Happy New Year.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes, yes, yes.
James Debo Harrison
Blessed to see another year.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Come on. I. Bro, I brought that thing in right. Right on the bed, right on the couch. Just looked at it. Me and my baby. Hold on.
James Debo Harrison
I thought you said the bed first, then you said the cow. I thought you were trying to say something.
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, no. On. No, no, no. Me and my baby girl was all.
James Debo Harrison
I thought she was trying to time it up.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah, we was timing it up.
James Debo Harrison
Time it up. Happy New Year.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah. Come on.
James Debo Harrison
Look here, baby, look. Hey, I. I got good news.
Joe Harrison Hayden
What you got?
James Debo Harrison
Lamar says he is playing in the Stillers game. Hey, look here, let me. Let me cook, okay?
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'm gonna let you cook. I'm gonna let you cook.
James Debo Harrison
Listen. Yes. I want Lamar to play. No, I am not crazy. We are three and six against Lamar Jackson in regular season, okay? And that's when he was more of 100% truly healthy. Okay? Lamar says with his words, He's 100%, but with my eyes, I don't see it. Now, you add that to the back issue that he's having right now.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
Okay. And the reason we had success against him early in the run game last time we played against him is because he was not using his legs and keeping the ball when they did the RPO play. Yes, yes. Which allowed our outside linebackers to crash down.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
In the backside and helping the run game. They only had, like, 70 yards at halftime, okay. We didn't even have to start respecting it until the second half, where he started keeping it.
Joe Harrison Hayden
When he started pulling it because he saw we was crashing down, we couldn't.
James Debo Harrison
Crash down no more. They ended the game with almost 220 yards rushing. Now, if we're going to win this game, the defense will have to win it, Period. Okay? Facts. We have to stop them from running the ball. I do not care if we have to put 8, 9, 10 men in the box. 11 men in the box have 12 men in the box. I don't care what we need to do. If we don't stop the Ravens from rushing, we will not win this game. They are predicated on a 85 to 90% base of running the ball successfully. We know that. The AFC north knows that, or at least they should. If you look at it, Lamar, is. What is it? 10 and 6? No, 10 and 5. The Browns. Okay? And guess what, Joe? And the five losses against the Browns, or should I say your Browns? Yeah.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
The Ravens only rushed for an average of 127 yards a game.
Joe Harrison Hayden
On their losses, on their losses.
James Debo Harrison
Five losses, okay? Now, in the 10 wins, minus the. What was the September game where the special team sold. Yeah, yeah. And they basically scored, like 21 points almost without having to do anything. They rushed for an average of 191 yards a game. But Cleveland did Have the right idea that game. Okay. And they said, we're going to make Lamar beat us passing the ball. Okay. Ravens only had 45 yards rushing, and Lamar did just that and beat them passing the ball.
Joe Harrison Hayden
But I'd rather take my chances on that.
James Debo Harrison
He did that with short fields. They only scored one touchdown where they had to drive the ball more than 37 yards, bro. Everything else, okay. Cleveland held them to a field goal, and even with that, lamar only had 225 yards passing, but it was four touchdowns. And again, that was made easy on.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Three of them, the short fields.
James Debo Harrison
Because you start at the opponent's 35, 5, 24, you're going to have great success. Now let's go on to the Bengals. He's 11 and three against the Bengals, and then the three losses. Joe, guess what the rush average is per game.
Joe Harrison Hayden
125 yards.
James Debo Harrison
101 yards, Joe. Wow. And guess what it is in the 11 wins.
Joe Harrison Hayden
190.
James Debo Harrison
Almost 200 yards, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah. You starting to get.
James Debo Harrison
You, you, you Ravens. You with grease, bro. The Ravens have to run the ball for show successfully, period. And Lamar only is averaging 190, 92 yards passing a game this year. And here's the crazy thing. Here's the crazy thing. On top of that, for his whole career, he's only like 195, 194 for his whole career average per game of passing. So if we don't go into this game and do everything we can.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Make him pass.
James Debo Harrison
Stop the run. Yes. And force Lamar to pass. We are doomed. And, And, and, and what? Do what. What do Coach T. Say? He say. He say we. We. We playing. They. They playing checkers. We playing chess. Right, Right. Okay. So let's go out here and play chess. Okay. Because that's the chess move. And sometimes, like the playoff game that we had last year, it didn't look like chess. It looked like we was playing tic tac toe out there. You understand what I'm saying? Yes, because we had, like, no way of stopping the run. And we changed what we were doing as far as how we went against the run. And the more time Lamar throws, the more opportunities we get to sack him.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
And along with that, I'm not saying to do this, but you could maybe push yourself up off of him by maybe placing your hand on that little tender spot on his back as you.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Can, a little lean on, you know.
James Debo Harrison
You know, along with the more he pass, we got possibilities for sack, fumbles, turnovers, interceptions, maybe a interception return for a touchdown, a fumble Sack fumble something.
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, no. You know we good for that. You know, it's.
James Debo Harrison
We need turnovers. Okay? Now the offense, I need them to run the ball enough to use up.
Joe Harrison Hayden
The clock and effect the first down.
James Debo Harrison
Runs, give our defense enough time to rest as much as possible and hopefully get in field goal range a times and give Boswell a chance to put points on the board like, because we have to do far better than we did against them rushing the ball last time at, what was it, two yards of tote?
Joe Harrison Hayden
That do it. They ain't gonna cut it.
James Debo Harrison
That ain't gonna get it done. Because we are not going to have a passing game, bro. We won't have DK. He was almost 150 yards of the passing game.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Along with Washington and possibly Austin, I hear now that was almost 200 yards of a 284 yard total last time.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yep.
James Debo Harrison
We cannot allow the Ravens to beat us at what it is they are good at. Period. And you know what Coach LeBeau. Coach LeBeau would always say, listen, we are going to stop what they do well and we are going to sell out and stop that. And he would say if it beat us, if we get beat, he said, that's on me.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
And you know what? It worked. For the most part, from the time 2004 to, I would say 2012, he was allowed to run his defense as he wanted to run it. It was 100% Dick LeBeau. Fire zone ran the way he wanted to run it with the players in the positions that he wanted to have in that. Positions that knew what they were doing. From that 04 to 12, we were a dominant. Give me the things. Oh. From 04, 2004 to 2012, 2004, we were a number one defense. 2005, we were number four, won the Super Bowl. Now we had a slack in 2006, okay. Dropped to nine. Okay. That happens when you win the super bowl because you lose some players that you don't realize were key role players in your defense, they get to go get some money. 2007, we went to one. 2008, we were one. Won another Super Bowl. Again, you lose some of those key players that next year. 2009, we went to five. 2010, and we thought we were trash, bro. In 2009, 2010, we were two. Okay? We lost the super bowl and we came back and was number one and 11 and number one in 12. Okay? And like I say this because you need to be able to have people, coaches in position that know exactly what it is, need to Be done and do it and be ready to deal with whatever the outcome. And the crazy thing is, like, we're in a do or die game with the Ravens, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
For sure.
James Debo Harrison
After they started 1 in 5 and they said that gave them a, what, 1% chance of making the playoffs at the same time during, what was it, week six? Because we had a buy. We were four and one and to be here where we at right now and last week against Cleveland, the worst team in our division, we had an opportunity to be able to rest our guys and have an extra week to get healthy and, dude, it's crazy to me. What's crazy is TJ ain't even four weeks out from surgery and we're talking about. He's playing, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
So, look, let me. Let me. Go ahead, hop in this thing. You write everything you said, Debo, you're exactly correct. And I'll just go from when we're talking about what the Steelers needed to do. We didn't have to be in this position. We let the Browns, my Browns, you know what I'm saying, Go out there and beat us. So.
James Debo Harrison
Not at the time for that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, no, no. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. You said it, so I'm just. I'm just saying what you said.
James Debo Harrison
Okay.
Joe Harrison Hayden
There's just some things that we. We're in this position, we're fighting for our life. But with all that being said, we are playing the Ravens on this good night game for all the marbles. And the good thing is, like you said, Debo, I want us to, like, stop the run. We have to stop the run. Derek Henry, when we beat him the first time, he ran the ball 25 times for 95 yards. Make Lamar have to pass it against us. We have to have eight in the box. We. We've done it before. Everybody has to be in their gaps, in their spots. And when we do pass the ball, we in those cover three. We could be in some zones. We don't have to play man to man every time. These single highs can be cover threes. They could be man to mans. But we need to have eight people in the box, everybody playing their gap, not peeking, not jumping, not getting pushed back. You know what I'm saying? So just consistency.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, no question, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
We've seen them do it in games where they made plays where they stopped to run. And then I need them to do this for four quarters. If we get up. If we get up in the game, don't start acting cool. Don't start acting like it's sweet. And start letting plays happen. No, we got to put our foot on their throats, for one thing, on defense, because on the offensive side, we're missing 140, 148 yards and seven catches that we had when we played. We're missing our dk, we're missing Calvin, we're missing Mount Washington. So offense, we just need to make sure on first down when we get it to Gainwell, when we get it to Warren. These aren't just meaningless handoffs. We need to get 3, 4 yards.
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
You know what I'm saying? So just don't give him the ball and he gets a loss of one. Now we're sitting at second 11. No, no, no. That makes us look crazy. Stay ahead of the sticks, you know what I'm saying? John Smith, get him in fire. Move. He's there. Get him involved. Mvs, you know what I'm saying? And feeling Adam Thielen, let him be your friend. He's a bet. He knows when it's third and threes. He knows how to find the holdings and zones. So go to your guys. Pitch and dump like a rod. It's four from two. Don't throw the fade to Scottie Walker down the sideline. Throw the little man to man beater to Thielen for two. So keep the drive alive, you know what I'm saying? Like, yes, things like that be simple, don't try to.
James Debo Harrison
But again, at the same point in time, if he make that connection, we happy. So, you know, good with the bad. Scotty.
Joe Harrison Hayden
But what I'm saying is, though, for us to keep our defense off of the feet and I should just keep drives along, that's going to be good. But just, you know what I'm saying, that completion to extend the drive, get us another four downs, make the clock go away, you know what I'm saying? So when the Ravens do get out there and we get these three and outs, they trying to run it. We stop them on first, second and 10. They trying to do some incomplete pass, third pin back. Stay in our rush lanes, too. When we do get Lamar, don't just get to going crazy running up and he's able to skate out of there. No, we're pushing evenly that front line. You going straight at him outside, y' all are containing. Don't go past the quarterback. You know what I'm saying? Stop. You know what I'm saying? You. You know those rushing lanes. So just the simple things when we're watching the defense, be on point, know what you Got to do. And it's going to be simple. We're playing single high. Everybody in the gap. Man, man or zone he's got. He going to have to throw the ball. Make him beat us with his arm.
James Debo Harrison
Yes. And, and, and like I said, I do not believe he can do that. I see. He can't. 195 yards. The average, the average quarterback. What is it? 245 almost.
Joe Harrison Hayden
You gotta get it.
James Debo Harrison
When you look at guys like Josh Allen and all those boys, they're more around 260, 270. You know, golf and, and, and, and all that. Yeah, that's. That, you know, that's what you, what you're looking at there. And I just, I don't if I'm, I'm okay if they beat us. Lamar Jackson going out there and passing.
Joe Harrison Hayden
With 300, 300 yards.
James Debo Harrison
I'm okay with that because we didn't let them come out there and do what it is that we know they could do. They had to come out and show us and do something else that was not in their character. I could be okay with that. Okay.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Because if they come down there and run it down our throats, you're like this. We know that's their game. You know what I'm saying? We coming in to stop this. Don't make them just establish, don't let them establish dominance. Like if, like you said, I'd rather somebody throw the ball on me. Then we gotta figure out what the DBs and if they just running, it's like we can't stop it, big man. We know they're running it. Why do they keep letting them move you out the way? You know what I'm saying? It's just a, a, a man on man thing with the run game.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. It's a five star matchup. Right. Ain't that what he say is it's a. No, he say it's a five star matchup because we in it. Right.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Cause we in it.
James Debo Harrison
Right. Okay.
Joe Harrison Hayden
That's for sure.
James Debo Harrison
Well, let's go ahead and make sure this is a five star matchup because we in it. And we're not the, the footnote to an historic comeback by what would be only the fifth team, one in five and make it into the postseason. Let us not be the five star, historic footnote of the air comeback.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, Lord.
James Debo Harrison
We don't need that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
We don't.

We don't. And I mean, it's the Ravens. And I think, and I know and I believe we can go in that joint and win. We should win. We can beat them, obviously. So I'm, I'm. I'm geek. I'm going to be watching the game. I'm going to be Locked in and be hyped. And I'm going to be watching to make sure we don't get blown off the ball. I know that's what you're going to be watching on our O line and our D line got to come to play. Like those are the same. Those are. They're, they're not, they're not injured?
James Debo Harrison
No, they're not injured like the D. The D line has to be stout. If we are not stout in the interior, it's going to be hard for us to hold anything. If you're, you know, if half of your D line is sitting back there getting pushed three, four yards deep, your linebackers can't get to where they need to go.
Joe Harrison Hayden
They can't feel Queen can't run free.
James Debo Harrison
No, not at all. Not at all. And that's in that defense as it was originally made is meant for your linebackers to run and make the plays and be there.
Joe Harrison Hayden
What do you think about so if, if, if, if it would win? What happens with Coach T, you think with this game after.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, Coach T, he ain't going nowhere. I'm sorry.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
I'm sorry to have to tell you people, but listen, he is not going no more. It, it's not. It don't matter if Coach T wins or loses this game. The decision of him to be there or not be there is going to be his decision be there next year. You are counting on the Steelers to fire him. That is not going to happen. I'm gonna be 100% honest with you, bro. If I'm him, if I'm him, I'm not walking away from that money. I'm a head coach. My money is guaranteed. You are going to have to fire me because that means it's still guaranteed. Now if I decide to walk away, then that's no longer guaranteed. I'm not leaving no money on the table.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I think with Coach T, he got. It's like, it's only like I'm not only, but it's. It's probably 10 mil that he probably making around a year. Yeah, he's gonna be able to. If he leaves, he can go sign. He's gonna sign a 90 million dollar joint somewhere. 80 million dollars.
James Debo Harrison
Now again, like I said, that would be his option. Now I go, you know, I'm not go going ahead and you know, like they say, you know, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Now he got to get the opportunity. If, if it's me, yo, I got the opportunity to look out there and See what I can get now. If I see I can go out there and get it now. Yeah. All right. I go ahead and, and walk away. I know I could come back, you know, and get something bigger. But at the end of the day, the Steelers will not fire Mike Thomas. What the outcome of this game is like, that is 100 given. All right, Patrick McQueen, he said, he said what's on stake against the Ravens, his former team. He said when you look at the whole building, when you look at the people who work here, them getting the extra check, I think a lot of people don't notice a lot of teams, if not all of them, their staff and all that stuff, their bonuses and stuff is based on how well your team does leading and going into the playoffs. I know we are one of them. And that's where he's saying teammates who aren't working a whole bunch or making a ton of money, you know, getting another check is big for them. And it's the same thing with, you know, with the staff just trying to win, trying to, trying to be legendary, trying to build your legacy up and do whatever it takes to get out there. It's everything. I don't. I mean, it is what it is. I mean, I understand that, you know, I ain't got no. I mean, that's what you say. I mean, the Steelers, that's what it is, bro. Aaron, but Aaron, they asked Aaron about, you know, next year. Like, you know what they said? They asked him, you know, about if this was his last game of his career, you know, and he basically left it open, you know, how do you feel, you know, about Aaron Rodgers possibly coming back next year?
Joe Harrison Hayden
I mean, after I seen Philip Rivers now go out there and play at 44, I wouldn't, I think we need, I wouldn't be mad at having Aaron Rodgers there. He showed that he's a. He can still do it. He can still make the throws when he's protected, when he has dk, when he has competent receivers out there. He still looks like Aaron Rodgers to me. I know for the Steelers, long term, if they want to do it, he's not going to be there for their long term future. So we're going year by year and I think next year would definitely be a Ross probably last year of being a legitimate solid quarterback. But if it's, if it's up to a Rod, if he wants to come back, and I'm not mad at what he's looked like, he can play starting quarterback for sure for the Steelers. It's not A Rod's fault. I feel like that we're losing, you know what I'm saying? Or that hasn't been that, that good. So if it was for him to come back and a friendly deal, you know what I'm saying, you got a solid veteran quarterback. That's, you know I'm saying, getting it to the players, getting people in positions, I'm not mad at it. But in the long term, you know, we need a young, a young guy that's ready to, you know what I'm saying, be a franchise quarterback for the next 10 years, 15 years, like a C.J. stroud, you know what I'm saying? The Bengals down there, Joe Burrow, Browns, we still looking to see what we could do. But just a quarterback that, you know, you can put a name on that dude Justin Herbert, you know what I'm saying? You just got a guy that even if you haven't been winning all the games, you know, you got your quarterback. So with a Rod saying he will come back for one more year, I wouldn't.
James Debo Harrison
He's not saying he would. He said he left it open.
Joe Harrison Hayden
He left it. He left it open. I'm not mad at him leaving open. Leave it open.
Odoo Advertiser
A Rod.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'll leave it open too. I'm, I'm, I'm ready to dance with you if you're ready to dance with the Steelers. But at the same time, he had.
James Debo Harrison
To talk to, you know, wife, make a decision, all that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, for sure, for sure. And he just did that this, this offseason. He took his time, you know what I'm saying? And I think that's one thing that the Steelers know too. He's going to do his own thing. So at the same time, you still got to be doing all of your work. Like, don't put all your eggs in that basket, you know what I'm saying? You're still doing all your due diligence trying to get a franchise quarterback to the team because you know it. Aaron Rodgers is not going to be the guy for long term, but he could hold down the fort, you know what I'm saying, this year and then maybe next year.
James Debo Harrison
I understand, I understand. So for me, personally, I like the idea because like you said, we do not have a quarterback.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Okay?
James Debo Harrison
But I don't like the idea if we have an option to get a quarterback that is younger and in the NFL right now taking. And, and I believe that, you know, with the current defense we have, or should I say defensive ranking that we have without a veteran quarterback, we will Be in the bottom. And maybe that's what we need, bro, you know, because that's just going to.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Have us, you know, picking in the.
James Debo Harrison
Middle a chance of getting a quarterback, a franchise quarterback at least in the draft next year. But I also don't know if there's one available that would be worth getting or trying to get or move up to get, you know, in the upcoming, you know, draft of next year.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I can't, I can't be on the losing to try to get the number one pick. So you could try.
James Debo Harrison
I understand what you're saying, bro, but.
Joe Harrison Hayden
You know what I'm saying.
James Debo Harrison
I also don't want to do this though. I also don't want to be back where we are now, where we're 500 or hell, worse. Worse would be even better because that puts us even lower in the draft with no chance of drafting anyone that would be a franchise quarterback. And bruh. Yeah, I think.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Who you, who you, who?
James Debo Harrison
This is what it is, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Go ahead.
James Debo Harrison
We need to get ready, okay, as Stiller fans to be down for a couple years to be able to come back up. And it's going to look hopefully something like what the Patriots did over the last few years. They're going to be down, they're going to get a new coach, they're going to come back up and they're going to be where they are now.
Joe Harrison Hayden
What pick was Drake made?
James Debo Harrison
That is something that we could do.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Do you know what pick Drake may was?
James Debo Harrison
I don't know.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I gotta think, I gotta find out what pick these. I know this chat, right?
James Debo Harrison
And again we have to be able to pick. I said it loud.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Got a draft right.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, you gotta be able to draft, right. And this we have a horrible time with what we have right now of drafting, right? Only two players that have been with the Steelers since we won our last playoff game in 2016 that were drafted in the first two rounds have gone on to receive long term extended deals when the time came up. That is a horrible rate.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I mean we looking at the receivers and when I'm just knocking off the top of my head, when I was there, my good man Deontay Johnson was there hooping, didn't get another deal Juju. And then I mean Claypool, it just didn't, didn't, didn't pan out. But he went early too. So like those are just high draft picks.
James Debo Harrison
Claypool didn't pan out. How many receivers we done got, bruh, that just didn't pan out. Why is that, bro?
Joe Harrison Hayden
I don't know, brother.
James Debo Harrison
Like, we always get receivers that don't pan out. What's the common denominator with these receivers?
Joe Harrison Hayden
This the part though, Debo. When I came, when I was first got drafted and I started looking at the Steelers, though, it was always. That was when AB, Mike Wallace and Emanuel Sanders, them dudes was Hoopers. So that's why in 16 or 17 when I came over there and they had. Then they had Martavius Bryant. He ended up switching out so. To Martavius Bryant. AB and then. Damn. And Marvin man's another one. But then juju was there too, and they drafted juju. So I mean, it hasn't been. It's not until from 17, kind of on to where he's starting to kind of missing and getting rid of those receivers and not being able to keep them.
James Debo Harrison
I'm talking about the first one and two and the receivers like you, you. This receiver has a problem. It. It's a. It's a. It's a.
Joe Harrison Hayden
It's a.
James Debo Harrison
It's an attitude issue. It's. It's a behavioral issue. It's. This is that you're picking ballers. Why are we getting all these receivers that are having these issues and, and not being able to. To keep them for fear of that or just not being able to keep them because they didn't pan out the way we wanted to. What's the common denominator?
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah, what do you think?
James Debo Harrison
You're a coaching staff. Like, come on, we keep. This. This receiver is bad. That receiver's bad. That receiver. What are we talking? What.
Joe Harrison Hayden
They're not bad receivers?
James Debo Harrison
Like, come on. Like that don't. That, don't. That don't make no sense, bro. And like I said, Drake may. I think it was third or fourth pick 24.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, man.
James Debo Harrison
Third pick 24, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Okay. Got to be more careful. So they went. They had to be that trash, bruh.
James Debo Harrison
And, and what they do. They went and got somebody to do what they needed to do. And, and, and he got, he went out, he got coaches. He got coaches that he knew could do what they needed to do. He got coaches that, that had, had, had, had had knowledge under. Like that's the first thing he did. He went and started getting his staff. Dude, like, we, we. What. What do we have over there, bro? Like, honestly, what do we have over there? Like, like Mike been there almost 20 years.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Ain't got one tree in his coaching tree. Not one limb. Like, come on, look at, look at, look at, look at Detroit. Detroit already. He already got like two or three head coaches. He got like two head coaches. And hell, Randall, I think he the OC in Chicago with the other coach that left.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Now you making good points.
James Debo Harrison
You got to put coaches in position to be able to help you and not worry about credit or anything else being taken from you. That's your credit because you put him in that position. Like, Belichick Tree is out of control. Like, dude, that's the only common denominator that I'm looking at right now. Dude.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Nah, I feel you with the trees. Cause I remember we had Belichick Tree all over the place. I had everything, dude.
James Debo Harrison
And where Belichick come from? Parcells. Like, come on. Do you.
Joe Harrison Hayden
But do you think a rod is going to return?
James Debo Harrison
Do I think he's going to return? Yes, I think that. Oh, man. Do I. I don't know, bro. Would you be.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Would you. Would you. Would you want him to return?
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Because if we don't, we ain't got nothing right now.
James Debo Harrison
Yes, yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
We don't got nobody.
James Debo Harrison
But again, I'm six and one, half a dozen other. I feel like we're going to have to have that down year. That down, you know, that we go be in the basement for a year or two to where we can get that quarterback and have that coach and coaching staff that can develop, you know, those players into what it is that they can become, you know?
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, I feel you, Debo. I feel it. It's that you coaches go a long way and like, you could tell, like when Braybo comes in there and really just switches some stuff up over there in New England. You know what I'm saying? Like, it might. You might need that. These are great coaches, the leadership, you know, like, just.
James Debo Harrison
It's not. Might need. You do need.
Odoo Advertiser
You do.
James Debo Harrison
You do need. You do need.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Because we've been.
James Debo Harrison
What's the first thing I need? Joe, who was your coach? Who was your coach? Your DB coach in Pittsburgh? Joe, did you go in there as soon as you saw and heard your DB coach and read his name and said, oh, I'm automatically bought in?
Joe Harrison Hayden
The first one, Cornell, Lake. Yes.
James Debo Harrison
Okay.
Joe Harrison Hayden
The first one I had was Lake. And Lake was so hard.
James Debo Harrison
And what happened after that?
Joe Harrison Hayden
He left and I had scrap and I didn't. I was not excited at all. I promise you. And this is no disrespect, one of the great person had a great time with him. Not a good defensive back coach. I did not learn anything. He kind of was Hermanning my learning of the game. He was only there for a year, you know what I'm saying? Then we switched. But, like, I was really coaching myself and really getting my DBs, right? Really had to tap in. So for sure, it was not. We were not on the same page. That was a tough, struggling year after Lake left and we got scrapped, for sure. Definitely difficult, you know what I'm saying? But I'm just keeping it by being with you.
James Debo Harrison
Right? And that's. And that's what I'm talking about, dude. Like, yeah, I understand bringing guys up, you know, letting guys get in there that wouldn't normally have the opportunity. But you've done that for so long and nothing's come from it. I know players I won't name, and they're like, yo, the coach that I have, he ain't did nothing to develop me. I do more in the off season to develop myself than they have did in the last, whatever, two, three years that, you know, they were there.
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, for sure.
James Debo Harrison
Like, you have done nothing to advance and develop me as a player. So why are they in there?
Joe Harrison Hayden
I don't know. And I don't know. Some team, some. You can't. Have you had a bad coach before on teams and when you've been in Cincinnati ever, or have you ever had a bad coach?
James Debo Harrison
I had a bad coach when I. My first year in Pittsburgh. Didn't like him.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
Didn't like him at all. If he's being any kind of way.
Joe Harrison Hayden
When I'm saying a bad coach, though, I'm talking about, did they know the game, though? Like, I'm talking bad coach. Like this. You like, man, this. Don't really know what he's talking about.
James Debo Harrison
No, I don't think he was a teacher like that. I'm gonna tell you right now, and I keep telling everybody this, Keith Butler is the coldest linebacker coach I ever had in my life. Okay? You understand that? Like, that is the coldest linebacker coach I had in my life. And everybody goes, well, he wasn't nothing as a D coordinator. I don't know what he was as a D coordinator. Again, he never got an opportunity to do it. He had it in name. He had it in name. He didn't get to operate in it as far as doing the job itself. And I think we have a lot of that going on over there in Pittsburgh still today.
Joe Harrison Hayden
They don't have to figure it out.
James Debo Harrison
Joe Burrow, man, y'. All. You know, y' all Browns, y' all play Joe Burrow.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes, we do.
James Debo Harrison
Joe said, hey, man, I'm not going to go out of My way to not let him get the sack record. There's going to be situations where a sack is the best of the bad outcomes of that play.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, yeah. He getting sacked.
James Debo Harrison
He getting. Oh, yeah.
Joe Harrison Hayden
He gonna accept it. Oh, yeah. He gonna give us that breath. He gonna give us that breath off. He might slide into it.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, he gonna give you that breath far. He gonna slide into it.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
He said. He said he ain't gonna slide into it, but he said he ain't about to. Go ahead.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I ain't going to avoid it. Too crazy. Yeah, go ahead.
James Debo Harrison
He said. He said I ain't gonna lose to. To get out the. To get totally out the way and make it look worse than what it is. I understand what he's saying.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Mm, me too.
James Debo Harrison
I understand what he's saying. Me too. I already know, man. Somebody go out there and slang that thing on y', all, y' all might not be able to even get to him because, you know, they gotta. They got. They got both their receivers back.
Joe Harrison Hayden
So over there, I'm gonna check and see what they lying talking about, man. Make sure all they linemen intact, okay? Yeah, yeah, we gotta check and make sure Burrow's left tackle and right tackle are intact.
James Debo Harrison
Listen, man, he ain't even gotta hold it that long. He just gonna. He gonna get that thing out faster than Roger.
Joe Harrison Hayden
But you know what time it is. We got. We got Denzel Ward. They got. We got Campbell. We got. We got my man Campbell out there.
James Debo Harrison
He can't cover, too. He can't cover two, man. Listen, man, you telling me. He go, he go, he go, he go. He go. Strap one. He gonna strap Chase and brother, brother, brother, brother, brother.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Gamble on Higgins. We got Ward over there on Chase. Not like it's gonna be like. He's not gonna. He's not gonna just lock him. That's what I'm talking about. That's good on good. He's gonna win his opps. You know, he got a. Don't even talk about Ward. Don't even look at Ward. Crazy. Ward took the pick. Six back, 100 yards on them. Chase tried to throw a. Your man Burrow tried to throw an out route. Boom. Let me get that. 101 yards. Don't play with that man, Ward. Don't play with that. Don't play with that man.
James Debo Harrison
Wolf. It was late. He ain't jumping. It was late.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'm trying to see. I'm trying to figure out why they keep throwing it at him. Don't throw it on that side.
James Debo Harrison
That man Was so lucky against us. It was unbelievable, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
That was, you know. Look, look, look. This happened. The Steelers, bro. I'm not gonna lie. Like you said, Deebo, y', all, Herbic had to pick six. That's my good, man. I won. I was like, dang.
James Debo Harrison
You see how you just. Oh, man, that's crazy. Joe.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Deebo. I'm really being serious.
James Debo Harrison
That's. Wow.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Cause if they would've After. Cause if the Steelers would have won, I'd have came in the jones just like, okay, look, went out there and lost and the Steelers won. Let's go, Steelers. That's what I would have said. Genuinely, I don't know if you believe me.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, I know you would have said that. But you remember, you flipped the whole script because you know why, bro?
Joe Harrison Hayden
Cause you were so. You're so disrespectful. Because you're so disrespectful.
James Debo Harrison
My hardy Cleveland. Yeah, man. Let's go over here to another db, man. Trayvon Diggs was released by the Cowboys, man. Oh. So I guess what's. How you say, a dude's namer. Yeah, this is the first time Trayvon Diggs approached him about, I guess, wanting to stay in Washington, D.C. after the. They won the game. I guess he ended up staying there, whatever that was. But what's your. How do I say, what's your. Your take on this? I mean, I already know dude was, what, injured in, like, 23. He ended up doing an ACL or something. He came back 24. I think he started on the PUP list, right?
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah, yeah.
James Debo Harrison
So obviously during that process, he probably thought he came back too soon. He wasn't 100%, wasn't able to get back to playing at the level that he played because that ended up getting him fined, I think, in the 24 season because he had a clause in his contract where he had to be there for 85% of the off season program. And he was like, nah, I'm taking off. I'm going to do what I need to do. You know, that's best for my body. You know, Jerry did his thing through his press conference, was like, hey, you know, that ain't it. And then I think the next day, Parsons and Diggs, I guess, had like a little joint press conference. And, you know, I guess Parsons back Diggs, and it's like, yo, you gotta do what's best for you. You know, your body, whatever it is, line was kind of drawn in the sand, so to speak. And then along with that, I guess they had another player that they started, you know, liking better. It's business. Business. It's business. Where, where are you at in it?
Joe Harrison Hayden
So as far as the trying to stay at home or trying to stay when you went and played in D.C. sometimes if y' all are off the next day, coaches will probably let the vet like if you're a vet or something. You know what I'm saying man, boom, my family's here. I'm going to fly back there to then just get back on the plane and fly back. Some, some of it just makes sense. So if you have a relationship with the coach and he knows you're about to go spend time with your family, this where you from.

Joe Harrison Hayden
They played the Cowboys. I can see how a coach would let it happen. Some coaches would just be like this. No, what you're doing is you're going to fly back with the team, you know what I'm saying? You fly back with the team and then when you get there, then you can fly. Then you get on your own plane, fly back out there. Just make sure you gotta do what you gotta do. So some coaches are just strict like that. They like, no, like, that's not how we're rocking. Some coaches will let the players get away with other little stuff like that. So with that, that's a coach's decision, you know what I'm saying? He can tell you, no, everybody's getting back on the plane. But that's the same thing with some coaches are players coaches. Some coaches, they'll let certain dudes do certain things. And you're thinking, I'm a player that's making 25 million. I signed a $97 million contract. I'm handling my business or coaches probably like you, not hooping like that. You are making 97. Fly back with the team and get yourself a PJ and fly back if you want to. Like you gonna do that on your own dime. So coaches can be petty, you know what I'm saying? If it's a good player and you have a good relationship. Nah, smooth, good player, not playing coaches feel some type of way. You're flying back with the team, then you're gonna go back, you know what I'm saying? So those situations, I could definitely see how it happened. Been involved with those for sure. So I don't see nothing wrong with the coach, you know what I'm saying? Because it is what it is, man. This is the team. We're flying back. This is nobody's thing, you know what I'm saying? Cool. Everybody back on the plane. Everybody get back. I'm setting up my flight so when I get off of there, I'm not even leaving the airport. I'm just getting on the flight and I'm going back.
James Debo Harrison
I'm going from the FBO to the actual airport.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'm going to the actual jump. You know what I'm Saying so however you want to do it, you can handle your business. Coaches are going to take. That's the coaches decision, you know what I'm saying? No, you're not going back. We're doing this. So with that, I think that's, that's kind of what it was.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, yeah. I think, I think shot and Hiram said they had, you know, previous conversations, tough conversations, some good, some bad. But I think this was something where, you know, the writing was on the wall. You know, they had already really made a decision that they were going to let him go after the end of the year. And he's like, yo, I got one game left. Like, what do I care? I mean I don't, you know, I don't. I wouldn't have did that. I'm like, yo, because now they could still, they could have still find him, you know what I'm saying? It would be super petty. But yeah, they, they could have still find him. But they ended up releasing him and I guess the packers picked him up.
Joe Harrison Hayden
They picked him up instantly. He out there in Green Bay with Michael Parsons chilling. Yeah, my dog, Michael Park.
James Debo Harrison
He said, hey, I guarantee you Michael was like, yo, go ahead and get him. He, oh, he had a hunted. He ready to go.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Instantly, instantly.
James Debo Harrison
How many years he got left on his deal?
Joe Harrison Hayden
He only got only. I think this is the last, last of the guaranteed. It's only the last of the guarantee. So the Green Bay packers gotta pay him the rest of his contract. This for this game. It's like 500,000, something like that. And then next year they can release him.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, you can double dip though.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I know they can release him, I'm saying. Or they can restructure his deal because right now he don't have nothing. So they can basically. Diggs is going into. He signed a deal there, you know what I'm saying? Got his bag. They weren't rocking. It's kind of where when I look at the cornerback and where Diggs is at, he can reinvent himself now when he's going to go hopefully hoop out for the Green Bay packers where he can get a contract with a good team, where now you can be happy, consistent, try to see if they can give you a good. But I'm seeing if Green Bay is going to give him a one year deal, give him a two year deal, a three year deal. Is it a prove it year? You know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
I believe it's a prove it year. I want you on that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'm looking at like a 1 for 15, you know what I'm saying? Let's see what you can do. Because the highest corners are making 30. He was making 20 million. So 115. See what you can do and then be able to get him an extension. And now, like, he can reinventerate itself. Playing with a good team, good situation. So I'm looking at Diggs like, bro, you got your bag. But now, like, if you want to do it again and really show that you are.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah.
Joe Harrison Hayden
You got to come in here right now. You know what I'm saying? Ball out. And then boom, you right back to the table showing that you still that dude. Because he's only. It's only his fifth year in the league, bro. This is right around it. You good? Six.
James Debo Harrison
I think it's six.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Six, 15, 20, 28. Not, not. He's not even that old.
James Debo Harrison
So, you know, hey, listen, they, you know, you know how they be tripping now when you try and get to that three old go.
Joe Harrison Hayden
And I'm saying right now, that's what he can hit him for now and get another like three years. You just gotta fall out, Diggs, you gotta ball out.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, yeah. I mean, I think that would be idea. It's just he gotta get that. He got to get the opportunity he have left on his deal. Like, they picked him up, so they kind of like gotta let him go to restructure it, right?
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, they picked. They picked up his. They picked him up. So they picked up his contract, right? Picked up the five year 97. And that's gonna be. It's like $500,000 a game. So they paying him that for this game. And then next year he would probably be making $20 million. But they get to renegotiate.
James Debo Harrison
All right, that's what I'm saying. They're gonna have to renegotiate. Restructure that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yeah, restructure that.
James Debo Harrison
There's no way I'm gonna pay you that. Especially after the last, you know, couple years.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, no, no, for sure. They could restructure it or they could release them, but I'm right.
James Debo Harrison
So you went on pick him up just to release him?
Joe Harrison Hayden
Nah, I think you picked him up to do your thing, Diggs, and then be working on every negotiation, you know what I'm saying? Because then you go, you're gonna get some guaranteed money, you know what I'm saying? Dicks is walking into a brand new contract, which I'm looking at it, you know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, I guess. Yeah. You can look at it like that. Especially Going in, he probably already know the inside. Like, yo, you come here, but you know that you ain't gonna get what you got coming.
Joe Harrison Hayden
No, no, we're gonna, we're gonna rip that deal up and we're gonna re structure something so you're gonna get guaranteed money. This your first year on your new contract. But I don't know what it is, you know what I'm saying? It might be 1 for 15. Just here prove a year. You know what I'm saying? See what you could do, right? You never know.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. Drake may he respond to his critics saying they had an easy schedule. He said we playing the NFL. He said every team has great players. It's not like we're playing. It's not like we're playing Foxborough High School down the road. Why you banging on a little high school team down the road, man?
Joe Harrison Hayden
He just letting you know them know they not in the same class as him. It's high school, it's little League, man. It's the big boy leagues like every week.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, how they catch a straight on?
Joe Harrison Hayden
How they catch a straight.
James Debo Harrison
Yo, that's crazy. Yeah, he did, he did. Yeah, I understand what he's saying. Like, it is what it is. Can't nobody, you can't make your schedule. It ain't your fault that the teams y' all ended up, you know, getting was. Ended up being, you know, some of the lower winning teams in the league. But you still, like you said, you still got to go out there and play. You still gotta win. Look what we did against the Browns.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Like, ah, hey, any given Sunday, that's why we watch the games. Brokens, Rams, all of this last second.
James Debo Harrison
This is why you play the game. Yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Deebo, you never know. You think, oh, no, you play to win. Do you think the other teams are trying to lose? I could say maybe. I don't know about owners or trying to get a draft picks, but I know the players that are actually out on the field do not want to lose, do not want to get embarrassed. They're trying.
James Debo Harrison
I ain't trying to put no bad tape out there.
Joe Harrison Hayden
They're trying to succeed.
James Debo Harrison
That's gonna mess my money up thousand percent.
Joe Harrison Hayden
So I respect the teams. When you go out there with the Patriots beat, who you supposed to be, you know what I'm saying? Like, don't leave it out. Don't play down to your competition, to where you make it. Next thing you know, you start looking crazy and you lose. So then you go down there and beat. What do you say? Beat A fly with a sledgehammer. You just gotta go do it and don't give up.
James Debo Harrison
No way. No way. Give up. I can't. I don't even know. I don't even know.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I'm not even give up. But I'm saying like start. Start playing it. Start. Start playing that backup defense. Stop playing that. Oh, no. Y' all could take 15, 20, 20. That's what I'm talking about. Preventing you from winning.
James Debo Harrison
That's what it do. Prevent defense. It prevents you from winning the game. Do not play that. That is not what we doing. Yo, you know what time it is? Play a Faded by. Joe. Yo, I made my pictures for Sunday's race, brother. And you either play my lineup or you faded and you go have to tell me why. Lamar Jackson is not not going more. He is going less than 212.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes, he is.
James Debo Harrison
Derrick Henry is going to go more than 91. It's going to be very hard to stop that man from getting.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Because I mean 100 yards.
James Debo Harrison
When they go give him the ball 30 times, they're gonna have to give.
Joe Harrison Hayden
It to 30 because we gave. Because last time he had 94 yards for 25 carries. I'm thinking they're gonna have to give it to him at least 30. Okay, 30 for 95. 30 for 94. So I. I could see over 91. But I'm really pissing me off because I don't even want him to have.
James Debo Harrison
I don't want him to have it. I know we talking paper on the line, Joe.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Are we talking play or play?
James Debo Harrison
I can't go out here and. And just give it up. Aaron Rodgers. Less.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh my.
James Debo Harrison
Less, bro. Yeah, I mean you gotta. Yeah, it's less, bro.
Joe Harrison Hayden
It's gonna be a lot of dumps.
James Debo Harrison
Cleveland. What was Cleveland? 160 something. And look at it. The last game we played against the Ravens, it was 284.
Joe Harrison Hayden
We gonna need none of that.
James Debo Harrison
We missing right now.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Gainwell and Warren are gonna have to run for a buck 70 between the two 50 each receiving. Okay. Yes. And then. I like it.
James Debo Harrison
We still was in a dog fight. Hold up, man. I totally forgot about the. The catch. That wasn't a catch. That we would have went crazy if it was us.
Joe Harrison Hayden
The likely joint.
James Debo Harrison
Yes. The interception, fumble, whatever that was.
Joe Harrison Hayden
He got down. He got to get another foot, bruh.
James Debo Harrison
We would lose our mind if that was us. And then the roughing, the whole. The roughing, the snapper. That wasn't a roughing.
Joe Harrison Hayden
That added four terrible. He didn't Even touch the snapper, dude. We'll take it though.
James Debo Harrison
And the other running back, he go come in for the spell and he go, he go get another 10 carries. If they don't run that ball 40 times, at least they done went on ahead 30 and 10 and allowed whoever it is that make that decision to help them lose the game. I'm hoping they do do that.
Joe Harrison Hayden
That.
James Debo Harrison
Because I'm willing. I'm. I'm actually willing to lose this to win, but I'm. I'm. I'm not. I'm not optimistic that it's going to happen. Lamar is playing, which is great.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Lamar's playing, which is great.
James Debo Harrison
Yes.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Okay. We don't. Yep. Okay. We need Lamar. I like all of these, Debo. I like all of these.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, bro, I knew you wouldn't like it, man.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I like all of these and I like all of these in a win. This, this, this is a. This is a key. This is a key. This is going to be a key to victory. But just like the, the over rushing yards, they gonna have to run the ball a lot. But just, just bury. Because it's for the bread, right?
James Debo Harrison
They got 40 carries. It's gonna be hard to keep somebody under 120 yards. 40 carries, 40 carries, it's gonna be hard. But it is easily winnable if you keep them within that three yard range.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Debo, all I'm telling you is we're gonna watch this game and we have to win. First down, everybody watching watch. First down. We have to watch this game.
James Debo Harrison
Y' all heard what he said, man. He bout to play for your boy. Look here. Download the app today and use the code Debojoe to get $50 in lineups.

Joe Harrison Hayden
Yes, bro. We need to get Fire Move and Johnu. Fire Move and Johnu. Both of them.
James Debo Harrison
Easily, like easily.
Joe Harrison Hayden
It's like every time we get into.
James Debo Harrison
Fire Move discovered Washington and forgot about friarmouth.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Every time. The last game against the Browns, every drive we made, Firemove across the middle was dominating. Don't forget about him. He's nice.
James Debo Harrison
So she said if the defense don't take Henry Out. We're done. We don't need to take him out. Running the ball, that's all.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Oh, for sure. Put. Everybody stay in your lane.
James Debo Harrison
Okay, Baby Jesus. Cousin, what's the effing. Effing the laterals and act like you. If that's a. Is that. Is that a. Is that a cuss word?

James Debo Harrison

James Debo Harrison
I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. I'm gonna have to go with 12 to 6 US. It ain't. I like that ain't number field goals. We gotta. We gotta stop them.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I wrote it down. You went. You went 12, six. I went 2010.
James Debo Harrison
We gotta stop them boys from running the ball, man.
Joe Harrison Hayden
We got to.
James Debo Harrison
Okay. We gotta, gotta, gotta stop them boys from running the ball. If we do not stop them from running the ball, it's gonna be a long night. Actually, it'll be a short night, but it's gonna be a long night. Cause the clock go keep running. And they gonna keep running both of.
Joe Harrison Hayden
Yep. We just need to maintain drives. I'M telling you, I'm not mad at Dinkin Dunks. I'm not mad at those, but I'm not. I'm win first down. I'm second and six. Second and five. And we'll win the most time you see second and five. We're gonna be good to go.
James Debo Harrison
Bro. I hope so, brother.
Joe Harrison Hayden
I hope so. Telling you. I'm telling you, Deebo.
