James Debo Harrison
Welcome back to Debo and Joe on this Victory Monday. I'm your host James Debo Harrison and I'm here with my co host Joe Hayden. Please make sure you guys like and subscribe. You don't want to miss nothing. Hey, how you doing today, Joe?
Joe Hayden
I'm doing good, brother. Debo, man, you know, great Sunday. I know you was feeling I was answering me and you were talking back and forth. The vibes were on a thousand, you know what I'm saying? So yeah, I'm feeling great.
James Debo Harrison
No question, baby. Feeling real good. In case y' all didn't know, the Steelers went on ahead and we jumped on somebody's neck. We we right? We, we, we we.
Joe Hayden
You see me, I got Distillers jersey on. Come on the Brown office.
James Debo Harrison
Okay, okay, okay. We there's still a went on here and jumped on somebody neck. Now we gonna go ahead and get into everything, man, but I'm gonna tell you I really Liked how we even ended the coin toss. You know what we did? We won the toss, and we said we want the ball. You know what that mean? That mean we about to run this ball down your throat or we gonna go down here and score. That's the most disrespectful thing you could do in a coin toss, right?
Joe Hayden
I think so. I agree a thousand percent. You put taking the ball off the rip, not worrying about getting the halftime. You're like, nah, I'm putting my offense on the field. And we about to score off rip.
James Debo Harrison
And then we go out there and do.
Joe Hayden
We don't do a damn thing.
James Debo Harrison
We don't do a damn thing.
Joe Hayden
Good thought great.
James Debo Harrison
Thought great. Hey, I like, I like the mindset.
Joe Hayden
I like, I like, I like, I like how you first play the game.
James Debo Harrison
But look.
Joe Hayden
But look it off the fingertips. It could have been different. It could have started off great. You know, it was wide open a little bit. You know, I think you gotta catch that. We gotta catch that.
James Debo Harrison
Got to coach, get the ball. First play, they hit us in the head for a quick 10, and then we get them. We get them backed up. Third down and 11, and. And they. They get one on us for 18. I can't tell what's going on, nephew. Lil Peasy, man, I don't know what was going on, but I'm not a db, so you. You tell me, like, once he got beat right there, wouldn't you just, like, track behind him instead of picking the side? I don't know how y'. All. How that process go. How do that go?
Joe Hayden
On this one, I think we was in. It looked like they were in on this time. They weren't in two, man, so he needed to just be outside. It was a good route. He beat him on a route. So this one was just a man to man. Good play. He could have stayed on his outside shoulder trying to get him to the inside, but this one, he kind of gave him a good game, a good move on the top of the route. This was single high, so he just didn't need to be underneath this one. He had to take care of the fade ball, had to take care of everything. So this one, it was just a great route, great pass. So this one was. It was just, you know, good. Good throw, good catch. Let's get to the next one, you know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
Okay. So then the next play, we get hit for 36, bro. Again, I don't know what's going on. I think. I don't know how y' all do it in cover two. But I think when we play it a little, you know, different as a linebacker, you know, we're supposed to go ahead and pop this dude and we're playing deep to short. How y'. All.
Joe Hayden
We're supposed to play the same way. We got the flats, we got deep to. And I love Slaver on this. If you're not going to give him a reroute the safety jailer, he's not going to be able to make it over the tops of that hole shot. So if you don't put any hands on him, I love what Slade doing. He's looking at number two. He's trying to steal that out route, because if he runs to the flat, he's expecting to get a pit. But you're leaving your safety out the dry because you didn't put hands on that number one receiver, slow him down in any type of way. So you got to be able to. If you just going to let him run past you on the outside, you got to sync with that and carry it because Jalen can't get there. There's too much space. So that was just a whole shot. We gotta do better on the COVID too. Just getting hands on them and carrying them with slay with that play.
James Debo Harrison
Then they continue, man, they convert two fourth downs, one of them being a touchdown for seven, for six. Rather we end up starting off, we down seven, nothing. I ain't gonna even lie, bro. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not real optimistic at that point in time. The very next series, Steelers get the ball. I think Aaron is sacked on the third down. We ended up doing basically a three and out, but we punt the ball, and Danny Smith special team comes through. Cause this receiver, this returner wants to play.
Joe Hayden
He wowed out. He had a brain fart. Just trying to figure out if he was going to get up to the ball. Then Peter. Peter called. You got to make. You got to make. You got to catch that. You got to catch it. You got to catch it. Then you tried to back off, hit off his chest. Great play for the Steelers, man. So this is the swing. This is the swing we needed, right?
James Debo Harrison
So we recovered. We at the 11. I think the first play, we got about five, six, seven yards, something like that. And we go forward on fourth and three. I'm not gonna lie to you. I am. I was all against this because I'm looking at it and I'm saying, yo, we just took an opportunity where we had nothing. Let's at least Try and leave with something. That's my mindset, you know what I'm saying? We go for it on the 4th, but we still could have made it.
Joe Hayden
Though, a thousand percent. I mean, so I think this was the place, but it was Washington. DK ran the joint first. Kenny Moore tackled him. Then we had Washington versus Kenny Moore. Kenny Moore beat him on that one on one. We like that matchup. Kenny Moore made a great play. And then you get to the fourth down, Washington, you gotta know, get your head around. As soon as you put that foot down, whip that head around like, you know, the ball hit him right in between the numbers. So I think I know what you're saying for sure. We needed to get points there, but on that same token, we can make that play. You got to be able to get your head around, snap it around, catch the ball, a rod, put it in a good spot. So leaving that with zero. That. That sucked.
James Debo Harrison
That sucked. That sucked, Coach. Get the ball back. They start moving the ball a little bit, you know, we stop them, we get them to a fourth and one. I am lost because I know when I played under LeBeau, if it was anything around that 4th and 1, close to less than 2, it was defense safe. You knew you wasn't gonna get a great return, but we wanted to make sure that they didn't do a sneak. And the best way to do that is had the guys on the field that actually played defense instead of a mix of offense and defensive players. Like, what do you think? Like, is that. Did y' all do that? Did y' all do that?
Joe Hayden
I. I don't. I don't.
Odoo Advertiser
I don't know.
Joe Hayden
I didn't know who determined to call punt safe, you know what I'm saying? I just knew I was. I was out there regardless. Most of the time, I was either holding up the gunner or. Or I was going to be out there on punt safe or on the regular defensive call, because I was the corner, so I didn't know who was making that call. I'm with you 1,000%, though. You know what team you're playing against. It's four for one. They've been going for fourth downs all the time. Like, let's just, end of the day, put one defense safe with the returner back there and just. Let's make sure we get the ball in our possession.
James Debo Harrison
They fake the punt. They get it the first down, they get a false start. So you. You know, we got them. We got them behind the chains. Second down, nephew. Lil P. My man. Get a PI, man, like, what. What is going on? What is what you think is causing him to get all these PI. I see what it is, but peasy.
Joe Hayden
I think the. The good thing is he's very, very physical, and that's what we loved about him, you know what I'm saying? But he's being a little too handsy on these routes. You got to not, you know, you can't literally, on this play, he actually just grabbed the dude's waist, you know what I'm saying? You can, you know, these are dig routes after you pass five yards now, the game has changed for corners. They don't let us touch them. They don't let us jack them up like. Like they used to back in the day. Once you pass five, you get a flag for touching a receiver. You're not supposed to do it. So my man needs to start using his feet a little bit more. And when you get to the top of routes, you recognize that dig, slip the hip, you know what I'm saying? Like, all that, like the grabbing and the pulling, it's not. You're going to get flagged for it. They're going to call it. I love your aggressive play, but in this league now, it's not college no more. They're going to make sure. They're going to call those handsy, those ticky tack fouls. So just. You're in the right position, you're in the spot. Just don't use that dance with them. Use your feet and get under and try to undercut some of these routes, but that one was a legit. Just. You can't grab. He had him by the waist.
James Debo Harrison
Nephew, I'm telling you this because I love you, man. Rely on what it is you have. You gifted, man. You got speed and you got length. You don't need to be so handsy, man. You can make that up on the turn with your speed and with your length. That's. That. That's. That's not. That's not something that, you know, we need as a student defense. And I'm telling you this because I care about you. And if I didn't, I wouldn't say.
Joe Hayden
For sure, you know, he got it in him.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, no question. We. We go on here, they get about to the 38 and with that man named Swat.
Joe Hayden
TJ Swat.
James Debo Harrison
Go ahead and get the sack. Fumble recovery. Only thing he could have did more.
Joe Hayden
Was pick it up, get up off.
James Debo Harrison
The ground at school, take it in for the touchdown. Steelers get out there. We going on here. Hey, we started working Our way down the field. Old Connor Hayward went on here, showed him how you supposed to do the tush. Push right up.
Joe Hayden
Washington pushing him. Washington, Daniel, lift him up past, took him down there.
James Debo Harrison
Seven yards, no question. We conferred a third and seven with Austin. Money, money, money. Next third down, touchdown.
Joe Hayden
That man.
James Debo Harrison
Jalen, Jaylen. That's how you.
Joe Hayden
And that's how you answer. That's how you answer.
James Debo Harrison
Points off.
Joe Hayden
Turnover.
James Debo Harrison
That's how you go turn over, capitalize. No question, man. Coach, get back out there. And P dubbed, I'm just gonna call him P. Dub. He went on ahead and showed me.
Joe Hayden
Give me that, give me that great, great, great play. And he had the running back. He had the running back and was just over top of.
James Debo Harrison
And then soft playing over top of it.
Joe Hayden
He came back, bro, great play, great hands. Brought the ball back to the 14, bro. So the turnovers, we was turning the ball over.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, they lucky they called him. Cause you know, that ball.
Joe Hayden
I didn't think that. I thought he was going to school.
James Debo Harrison
If he had, if he had lifted them legs when they, when that tackle, when that alignment with the die for him, it had been gone. Gone.
Joe Hayden
But they don't matter because. Come on, get in there.
James Debo Harrison
Fire.
Joe Hayden
Move.
James Debo Harrison
12 yard touchdown. 7, 14. Listen, man, Andy, come out there, they think they go do something. Defense said we go do three and out. We go ahead and pressure you on this second down. So you throw the ball too long. Hey, Cam, how you doing? Third down. Hey.
Joe Hayden
Drop back in the coverage, bro. That's what I'm saying. Read the eyes of the quarterback into your zone, into your position where you need to be reading off the quarterback, reacting, jumping, knocking the pass down.
James Debo Harrison
Let's go pass defense, baby. Go ahead, punt that thing on the way. Still, let's get the ball. We working, you know, we work our way. We get. We hit him one for about eight, nine, ten on the run. We hit him for about 16, 15 on the pass, man. Third down, we gone ahead and get a nice little 15 for a personal foul. DK, look here, man, you can't be out there one handed men, they got kids watching. Everybody else on the team seeing it. 40 come to his defense. You know, my son said DK be raised baiting them boys go ahead and handle them like that in front of all their family and kids.
Joe Hayden
That's exactly what he's doing.
James Debo Harrison
Your son go get home and think he could do that to you? You let DK do. DK stop doing them like that. Cause that man to get 15 yards and then he Arguing. And I can't even tell who he arguing with. Cause I can't see who he looking at. I don't know who he looking at, you know, 40. I couldn't tell he was looking. He was.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, he was. He was all discombobulated. He was trying to figure out why y' all didn't do nothing on dk. When you have a man choked up, like, I just. Like.
James Debo Harrison
And then I'm trying to look. You know, I'm trying to look at him, and I can't. I can't tell who he's looking at. But we get sacked on the first down. Put us behind the chains. But we still got seven from. I mean, we still got three from it. You still got three from him, man. Ain't bad. It's seven to 17, man. Feeling good.
Joe Hayden
The things your halftime run running. Running. Defense doing great.
James Debo Harrison
Run the defense doing supremely.
Joe Hayden
Come on.
James Debo Harrison
That's still a football. That's still a defense. That's what we're accustomed to seeing. That is the defense. When you come to Pittsburgh, that they talk about this. We got it right here, y'. All. Y' all do it. Y' all forget it. Indy get the ball back in the second half. They can. They convert. What? I don't. I don't know on that one. I think we should have had some bigger people in there, but that's just me. But. Hey, hey. First down, Smith. Hey. Every man whoop a man.
Joe Hayden
Every man whoop a man. Debo.
James Debo Harrison
Every man whoop a man. Whoop a man. Belt the ass. Yeah, yeah. Hey, second down. Sit, nephew. Went ahead, got him a sack. You know what he did, though? He said, before I come up here and go away, I'mma push this boy out of bounds. Smart play. Smart play. Why he can't get the ball no more. Go ahead up there.
Joe Hayden
Go ahead and get you a sack. Peezy.
James Debo Harrison
Good defense.
Joe Hayden
Running to his man. Pushed his man out of bounds. Because when the quarterback's out the pocket, you could push a man out of bounds. And then went and got the quarterback. Come on, peasy.
James Debo Harrison
Went and got him a set. Third down, Ramsey come down.
Joe Hayden
I like Ramsey. Oh, my goodness. We gonna talk about that. I do, too. I do too.
James Debo Harrison
They end up can't get nowhere. They punt the Rock. Stillers. Get on back up out there. Hey, that boy Washington said I'm gonna make up for this. Second down. Back hit.
Joe Hayden
He was making some big time hands catches.
James Debo Harrison
Next time, Washington. Again, again. Get him another one. Listen, man, this dude is dangerous. He's a weapon, this man, 8ft tall, 753 pounds, he could catch the ball. He, he, he, he, he can block you. This, this ugly, but we don't really get nowhere with it. But I wanted to give you, I wanted to get Washington this.
Joe Hayden
No, no.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, hey. We punt the rock, man. Dang. That ain't no big to do. There ain't no big to do. They moved the ball, you know, a little bit. You know what, dude? That one play right there on that, I think it was that second down where he came in and he tackled that ball out.
Joe Hayden
He lost it.
James Debo Harrison
He lost and caught him right before it got all the way out his hand, man.
Joe Hayden
And then they got a third and three on this drive.
James Debo Harrison
I believe so.
Joe Hayden
And this is when I was talking about my man. Yes. Because they had the man to man coverage. And on 33 they gotta go. My man excels exos. What's 26 name?
James Debo Harrison
No, that's not this one. No, no, this, this is the fourth down where they, they left, they left, they left Pittman wide open.
Joe Hayden
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, it was a little confusing there.
Joe Hayden
The 16.
James Debo Harrison
Okay. Yeah, yeah. I don't, Yeah, I don't, I ain't gonna lie. I don't know. What happened was the car and then Taylor go ahead and gets nine yards. That's like his longest run of the day. And I'm like, yo, I hope we ain't unwinding on this thing, man. Like what, you know what's going on. And the next play. Hey, P Dub, P Dub, P Dub.
Joe Hayden
Athlete back the ball to Jack Sawyer.
James Debo Harrison
That's the ball to Jackson.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, that was nice. And paying Willis is all. He's all over the place, Peter. He's all over the place.
James Debo Harrison
Tell me about it. Tell me about man still, let's get back in there. And what they do, they capitalize.
Joe Hayden
Start dialing up a rod, dialing up. Hey, nine in a row.
James Debo Harrison
Dialing up. It wasn't number a hot full pad, but it was four or four where that, that, that 875 pound tight end that's 10ft tall. First down, he get 11. He throw a short one to Austin. Austin give him the. He go ahead, get 18. And then right at the end of the third, Washington get that big boy slant. And at the end, big boy, 18ft, 7,322 pounds, 13 yard in the third quarter. Going at the one down at the one fourth quarter, we go ahead and punch it on the fourth. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, 7 24. What do you know, coach? Get Back out there. What happened on that. What happened on that first down?
Joe Hayden
Sack every man whoop a man.
James Debo Harrison
Every man. Whoop a man.
Joe Hayden
Keanu.
James Debo Harrison
They got 17 on that third down though.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, they did.
James Debo Harrison
And nephew, we get another PI.
Joe Hayden
On the.
James Debo Harrison
And.
Joe Hayden
And this is the part that's is you got to move your feet. You're on the. It's on the tight end too. It's on a nub tight end. You know the Titans is trying to get biz physical and I'm not going to lie, you know he was trying to the tight end. We're not acting like he wasn't trying to push off on him also. But you got to not even get in that position. When you're a corner in the tight end run. Use your feet. You know they're bigger than you running around for him. He's running a corner out. Get in a position where you outside, you turn into it now, boom. You're in the position. You're quicker than him. You're faster than him. You don't have to try to out bully the tight ends. No, you should never get a call.
James Debo Harrison
You like 6, 8 or something like that.
Joe Hayden
Use your feet on that spot. So that's just like. I understand but that's just not good football. You can't be that handsy with the tight end. They're going to call on you every time.
James Debo Harrison
Yes, yes. We end up stopping them though at least to holding them to a field goal. You know. It's 10 to 24 now still. Let's go out there, man. And basically we basically do like a three.
Joe Hayden
Yeah. And that's what I thought gain. Well he could. I thought he could have got vertical on that slant and got a first down.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, I think. I think I thought that too.
Joe Hayden
I was looking because he tried to.
James Debo Harrison
Do the little juke and then when we went to punt the ball, I'm.
Joe Hayden
Like, we just need to get north aside. We only need three yards so you could fall forward.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. Yeah. And when we went to punt the ball, dude, like why didn't we take more time off the clock? He snapped it so fast, bro. Like we got lucky because the PP was actually getting set. He was moving backwards. That's the only reason we ain't get a penalty on that one. Because he was actually backing up to get into his position and just flop like.
Joe Hayden
Yeah. I don't know. I gotta.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, yeah. Peep it for sure. For sure, dude. Indy, get back out there. Second down. Ha.
Joe Hayden
SmithSmith was bawling.
James Debo Harrison
He was doing it on a bad ankle too. I seen the boy on the sideline hobbling. They went on out there and they spat it up. They spat it up the hey, it's.

James Debo Harrison
Ankle and Put the black, put the.
Joe Hayden
Put the black, put the black on.
James Debo Harrison
There, spat on the outside. He came back out yes, he did.
Joe Hayden
Yes.
James Debo Harrison
Fumble. Hello. Is it me you're looking for?
Joe Hayden
Everything was going. That was the fifth fumble all day. Fifth turnover of the day.
James Debo Harrison
Pittsburgh came to play. Yeah.
Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Y. We get the ball back, baby. Short field. I'm thinking we got action, baby. We got money. That third down, he needs to do what Joe the.
Joe Hayden
He needs to get. Get your head around.
James Debo Harrison
You gotta break that off.
Joe Hayden
Aod knows he's coming in hot. There's going to. You trying to run an option. You're the defender is 15 yards back. A Rod is trying to get that ball into your hands as fast as possible. So it's just like the. Not getting it.
James Debo Harrison
The.
Joe Hayden
The Steelers are missing. Like with the Washington on the slant. Get your head around right here. Gain will coming out of the backfield. He just want.
James Debo Harrison
You see it. The blitz come. You see him. That should be your key. As soon as he go.
Joe Hayden
Oh, let me break this off. Yeah. So that's just the miscommunication right there. And I feel like that's where the offense on some of these things we. We gotta. They gotta play better. Defense was doing great. Offense there's just. And that's the A Rod knows it too. There's more me on that bone.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, yeah, for sure. For sure.
Joe Hayden
We end up selling bankroll, obviously.
James Debo Harrison
Bankroll all day. It's 10 to 27 and he go ahead, get that ball back. They start moving the ball. I mean, I kind of knew that we couldn't just keep him sealed up forever. And again I'm just trying to tell you, man, I like Jalen, I like Ramsey at that safety. All he had to do was go about 6 inches lower and it wouldn't have been.
Joe Hayden
I'm just trying to figure out how many. I know what you're saying. I called last that he got hit too hard flag because he.
James Debo Harrison
It was very little.
Joe Hayden
Every little of the helmet. He's coming in there.
James Debo Harrison
It was very little incidental contact on the helmet. But you know how they airing on the side for the offense causing all the other stuff.
Joe Hayden
I call that joint. Tell your quarterback don't throw a compression. A concussion protocol ball or. I call it a tent ball. I call it a narcolepsy ball.
James Debo Harrison
That boy throwing blue tent balls out there.
Joe Hayden
Throwing out blue tent balls. And especially people not get to put to sleep. I mean that's why like. But you ain't.
James Debo Harrison
You ain't. You ain't expecting. You ain't expecting that safety to come down there like that though, man. Ramsey put that.
Joe Hayden
My man. I'm glad he's okay. He tried to get up.
James Debo Harrison
He was. He was this. Hey, he did the wall. He. He did the stanky leg for a minute, but he good. You know, everything good. And then, dude, I don't know what happened with 20. Well, he had just got here, so he was.
Joe Hayden
What he got is mad on that play.
James Debo Harrison
That's mad he got mixed up, man. He just.
Joe Hayden
I think this is what I'm trying to tell you. That's man to man coverage. There's two people there. I'm looking. They're giving the lock signal. No, you're giving a lot.
James Debo Harrison
This is why I need you. Because I don't need a lock.
Joe Hayden
But we could do it in and out. So we got a combination.
James Debo Harrison
I think they end out when I do the picture.
Joe Hayden
Look, you'll see. But this one, I'm going to tell you when I got a picture of a man to man. And he's standing there looking at the quarterback and his man is two yards behind him. He's not guarding nobody. Like, if you're a cornerback, you're gonna have your eyes on your work. You're supposed to be connected to a man. He's standing there. At no point when the play is going on are you supposed to be as a cornerback. Looking dead at the quarterback.
James Debo Harrison
No looking anywhere.
Joe Hayden
But actually you got a man to be looking at. You know what I'm saying? So, like with that. I know. Like, that's just terrible eyes, eye discipline. You gonna look at it. You look in the hope that he's not throwing it to your man. And then you run over there. Cause like, no, that's too bad.
James Debo Harrison
Ain't that the worst? You get beaten, the first thing you go to do is look and see if he saw that you got beat.
Joe Hayden
And that's what he was. He's looking at the quarterback. He said, you're going to look at him, throw a fucking touchdown on you. And that's what he did. So like, you got to have your eyes in the right places when it's man to man. You're never supposed to be as a cornerback staring at the quarterback. Your man's running in the end zone.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah. So now it's 1727, but we getting the ball back. All we got to do is go out here, hold on to the ball and burn out.
Joe Hayden
Just hold on to it. Just chill.
James Debo Harrison
Look, Wilson, what in your right mind told you that was a great move to make. Anytime you jump, you go pull a hand off the ball. Because when you jump, you don't Just land on you.
Joe Hayden
You're gonna just land on your head.
James Debo Harrison
You ain't gonna just land on your neck.
Joe Hayden
You know what I'm saying, dude?
James Debo Harrison
Kenny.
Joe Hayden
And shout out Kenny Moore.
James Debo Harrison
The only thing that could hurt us. And you know what them damn announcers said that y' all need to keep quiet when situations like this happen. When my still is playing. You understand? Cause y' all make things come true when it ain't supposed to. Oh, they fumble. We fumble.
Joe Hayden
They. We punched it. We punched. That was a good play by Kenny Mordo. He punched that joint out. He did. He did punch it out. But Wilson's wilding. You're not supposed to jump. Just.
James Debo Harrison
No question, dude. He ain't have to punch that hard. It was like this. Cause you jumping. You doing this. What are we doing?
Joe Hayden
I know. He's up in the air looking crazy.
James Debo Harrison
Indy, get back out there, man. Hey, Nephew, go ahead and make up for one of them PIs. Went on ahead, put himself in the middle right there and picked that thing.
Joe Hayden
Great play. Great play. Great play. Good vision.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, I'm thinking it's over with, man. Still, let's get the ball back and.
Joe Hayden
What we do, we punt again, out quick. We weren't able, like, our run game was terrible. We gonna talk about that. But we couldn't get nothing going on the ground.
James Debo Harrison
Dude, it was ratchet out there for. For the offense. But anyway, man, hey, we live by defense, man. Indy, get back out there. They work, too, you know, about the 35. They go ahead, get the field goal, they try to onside kick, we get a game over with. It shouldn't have been that close, Wilson. Okay? And I'm not blaming you, but, yes, I am blaming you. Because the later you get in the game, the mistakes you make, they tend to magnify. And this is one of those things that magnify. But, you know, we go out there and we win the game against what? What ranked offense?
Joe Hayden
Number one.
James Debo Harrison
Number one. Okay, the Stillers defense, T.J. watt, Cam Hayward, H.A. smith. Hell, the whole D line, run stopping. This is what we like to call big game hunting at its best. Cause you're playing against the best. Peyton Willis, Wilson. What are we talking about? Peyton Willis, Pete Dub. What we talking about?
Joe Hayden
14 tackles, bro.
James Debo Harrison
We forcing turnover. We doing all that. This defense, like, hey, we stepping up and we making plays when we needed to make plays. Dude, dude, you stopping the run like they're not being able to piss a drop. Dude, they got gallstones. They got. They got barnacles. You know what? I'm saying gale force win PE and you know what I mean, like, they backed up nephew. Yes. You come through at the end for us, Jalen. I like Jalen Slay did some of his things too. The dbs played better all together, bro. Like, you just held Jonathan Taylor to 45 on 14. You done sack this man six times. Not to mention who knows how many passes you batted and tipped and three interceptions on it. Like, they only had 55 yards rushing as a total off.
Joe Hayden
I know, I know.
James Debo Harrison
We need the defense to do what they did here, keep doing. We need turnovers, we need extra possessions. We need all that. Like, because when you look at it, dude, the offense did well enough for us to win. They capitalized on the opportunities, the extra opportunities that they got from the defense. Altogether, we only had 225 yards. They had almost 370. Like they had 26 first downs. We had 17. We lost time of possession. Every offensive category we lost in. And there's no way, if you look at these numbers, you think this was the score. We have to find out a way to do better on offense. We have to be able to run the ball because the dump pass run game alternatives that we're doing is not going to continue to stick and last forever. People are going to find a way to stop that. So that's what I need done in defense. Look here. That's still a defense. That's what I love to see. That's what it should always be. But I'm gonna give you a challenge, though. My daddy said the sun shines on every dog's ass once in a while. He used to tell me that every time I beat him. Efficient. Which I ain't gonna lie was. It wasn't that often, you know what I'm saying? Like, we got to go out there and do this week in and week out. A broke clock is right once a day and if it don't got AM or PM on it, it's right twice a day. Show me who the real Steeler defense is.
Joe Hayden
I'm with you, nephew.
James Debo Harrison
Nephew. Show me a complete game put back to back with no Pisces. Okay, D line. Show me continue back to back games of great run defense. I know you can do it. You just did it against the best.
Joe Hayden
Yep.
James Debo Harrison
And we gotta stop people on fourth down. You can't let nobody go. Five.
Odoo Advertiser
Five.
James Debo Harrison
You showed me you can do it. Now go out there and do it. Week in and week out.
Joe Hayden
Yep, you got it.
James Debo Harrison
You can do it. You did it against the best. It ain't nobody else better out there.
Joe Hayden
I'm with you with the. I'm with the run defense. The run defense did everything. They did everything we expected. We said, every man whoop a man, Deebo. And they went out there and they whooped the man in front of him. Because the Colts never got to really start ahead of the sticks. They never got that, like, they were always fighting for, like, third and longs, trying to figure out how to make plays because we weren't letting Jonathan Taylor get going. The one thing I'm going to say about the defense is our secondary. We still gave up 345. 345 yards passing. And two receivers had 100. Some. Two receivers had 100 yards. My man Pierce had 6 for 115 and Pittman had 9 for 1. 9 for 115. So it's the. It's the chunk plays that happen. For me, if you're being. If you get beat man to man, you're on your man. You're contested. He catches it and goes out. That's all good. That happens. That's football. We're going to the next play. That's why it's on that. But when we have things like when these big, big gaps in the. In the zone, it's a lot of people taking the cheese. You know when they told the linebackers, you got something in front of you and the dig come right behind you.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, butts would always. These.
Joe Hayden
Don't tell me these dudes, they're biting the cheese. They're taking the cheese. It's simple things where, like, the check down is there and you're just breaking on the check down and they're throwing it on the dig route right behind your head. Just back up to that. You can get a pick on that. Back up to that.
James Debo Harrison
It's a couple deep to short.
Joe Hayden
Everything deep to short. And there's certain plays with echoes on the. Like on you. When you're the curl flat and cover three, you gotta play that deep to short, the same way the corner has to play that Chinese deep to short. Everybody has certain little plays where you have to play things deep to short. There's gonna be a dig behind you and a little something in front of you. It's called like, they trying to take the cheese. So little discipline, things like that. It's not like they're beating you bad. It's like, don't take the cheese back up. Don't let those digs behind your head. Make them throw that drag and y' all rally up and Make a tackle. Do you know what I'm saying? Like, a lot of those are what's blowing on the defense. So with me, I'm like, that run game. That's perfect. That was amazing. Man to man echoes. When you're on man to man, be on your man. Don't be staring at the quarterback. So if you're at least on your man and he makes the play on you, that's okay. But if I see you just standing there, not like with eye discipline, making bad plays like that, that's not good. You can you. That's not a skill thing. That's just like a. You got this, man. Don't be looking at the quarterback. You know what I'm saying? You have this zone back up in your zone. Like, that's why I rock with what Coach T was saying. It's a short distance between drinking win and squashing grapes. Because it's not like we're reinventing the wheel. We know how good the team is. We got the players to do it. Be in your spot. You know what I'm saying? Like, if you do. And he make great plays when man and man. Echols had three pass breakups. Joy Porter Jr. Great pass breakups. He's on his. Man. Just don't, don't, don't grab.
James Debo Harrison
Just.
Joe Hayden
You know what I'm saying? Just be right. You right there.
Ryan Seacrest
You.
Joe Hayden
You good, baby. If he makes that play, it's a hell of a play. Just throw your hand in there, try to knock that down. Next play, we good. You're on it. You're on your position. You're in your spot. Next play, somebody might get a sack. TJ Might knock the joint out. Next joint. Let's just keep how it's going. You know what I'm saying? So I love the way the defense did it, but my thing is that the defense pass game is not reinventing the wheel. Just Everybody do your 1/11 every play. I know it sounds easy. Just be in your spot. Be in your zone. A lot of those digs and stuff.
James Debo Harrison
Work and see what you supposed to see. Be where you supposed to be and make the plays. You supposed to make everybody do that. Can't nothing go wrong. But look here, man, I'm happy, excited. The future is bright again. The future is bright again. Especially. Especially with the bangles went out there. The bongos went out there and did that. Boy, Chase Brown had a sound off on, hey, play that for me. We got that.
Joe Hayden
We just got to play complimentary football. Like, we put the ball in the End zone and go up a point at the end.
James Debo Harrison
Finish the game. Like, just end it.
Joe Hayden
Like that's it. Like that's. That's like. That's what we need to do.
James Debo Harrison
Just end the game.
Joe Hayden
Like, make them. Make them get us the ball back. Let us go to 22 victory and let's end the game. That's how. That's like. That's how I feel.
James Debo Harrison
Listen here, Joe. Yeah, the bungles defense sold. Y' all sold the game. Okay? Where was that trash defense when we played y', all?
Ryan Seacrest
Huh?
James Debo Harrison
Huh? Y' all gave up 283 yards rushing, another 302 yards pass, or a total of 576 yards. Then the offense go down there and make it up for you. D boys score 14 points in a minute and 21 seconds. And then you bums go out there and let them score a touchdown in 37 seconds and it's only 54 left. Flacco go 47 to 31. 470 yards, both touchdown. Diggings get him 121 on 7. Chase, get him 111 on 6 and Brown, get him 8 on 75. Hey, Joe. Joe Burrow. Listen, it ain't too late. Get out of there. You ain't been wearing orange long enough that you can't come over here and wear black and gold. We only got a quarterback under contract for a year. Right? Now sit back and think about your options. Okay? Okay. They go waste you. They go waste you. Now, even though that the offense did ball out like that, how do you.
Joe Hayden
Feel about him saying that? Debo, you.
James Debo Harrison
You.
Ryan Seacrest
You.
James Debo Harrison
You can't go to the media and say that. It's been plenty of times when we played where we like, man, damn. The offense could do this or do that. We're not saying it to the media. We're saying it to each other. I like how Chase responded to it. He said, listen, I ain't got nothing to say about it. Don't. They say nothing to me when it's on the other side? So I don't like that you went out there. Everybody could see that. Hell, the Bengals players didn't even want to talk to the media, most of them. So that's. You know what I'm saying? That's not something that you can do. And in today's time, especially with all this sensitivity, guys being called out publicly in the media, you know, it. It don't. It don't. It don't. It don't end well.
Joe Hayden
I feel the same way, Debo. If it's if you can go to the media with that, then you already know what it is in the locker room. Like, that's not something that you would want to put. Obviously, the defense, they know, like, if. If dudes are doing.
James Debo Harrison
They're professional athletes. It's called. It's called a football team on a team. Not a football. Me, I. These dudes. Oh, we win together, we lose together. We gotta accept that. And we damn sure ain't gonna be out here in the media hounding each other when we already know. I know they feel like trash. I know they feel like garbage. All you had to do was hold them, and you only had 30, what, 50. 50 seconds left in the whole game, 54 seconds left. Like, yeah, they feel bad. They feel like trash, you know, and they. Half of them ain't. Well, most of them didn't even talk to the media. But on that same point, when you do have that performance, you got to talk to the media, man. Own up to it. Hey, we trashed out.
Joe Hayden
The highs are highs. The lows are low. When you. When you miss a tackle, if you miss those dudes, you miss the. You got to make that play. If you don't make the play, then. You know what I'm saying? It happens. So when you win the games, you want to talk to the media and be all good, but when you lose the games, you got to be able to take it. We professional athletes, we do this job as a professional, so we're able to. Are we professional? Are you supposed to make that play? Yes, you are. So I think for teammates to be calling on other teammates, that's just where it gets kind of tough because. Because, you know, your guys want to be held accountable. So I would think the teammate or he has to feel. The Bengals defense has to feel trash. You know what I'm saying? So going on with Jamar Chase, your teammates or anybody bashing you in house, that's going to have you feeling also some type. You're a professional.
James Debo Harrison
And then now you. You might mess around and cause a fray inside the locker room. Dude. Like, you have a situation where now it's offense pinned against defense.
Joe Hayden
It's real.
James Debo Harrison
Sp. Folk. At the same time, it's real.
Joe Hayden
If you.
James Debo Harrison
You gave.
Joe Hayden
You giving up a thousand yards in the past two games at 86 points, offense scored 80 points.
James Debo Harrison
Where was your trash defense when y' all played us? I. I can't. And you know, look, Cleveland, you. You bounce. I wanted to say something else, but I forgot that I'm trying to do things not to. But I still get. I still. I still mess. Ain't nobody perfect, man.
Joe Hayden
My team still got the buy.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, Cleveland, y', all. Y'. All. Y' all made the best decision ever for another team. And you can't make not one for your damn self. You think?
Joe Hayden
Don't even see they on the bye week. They at the crib chilling right now, man.
James Debo Harrison
That's the best thing that happened to them. They couldn't move.
Joe Hayden
Brownies won this week.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah.
Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, that's just what happened. They won by not.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, you won't.
James Debo Harrison
They won by now. The Bills went on ahead and gave the Chiefs a little bit of work, man. Not a little bit of work. A lot of work, dude. Like, you know, the offensive line for the Chief struggled, man, when the office of line struggled like that, Patrick Mahomes gonna struggle because the line can't protect him. This dude was getting hit, sacked. I don't even think he completed 50% of his passes.
Joe Hayden
I think 44.
James Debo Harrison
The defense struggled bad. Allen only had, what, three incompletions the whole game? What is that? He spread the ball around to, like, 10 different receivers, bruh. He ain't even picking one no more. He like, yo, whoever opened, go ahead and get that thing, man. Like, he just seeing it all. But I ain't gonna lie to you, dude. That third quarter when they called that intentional grounding, that was a tip pass and had time to look at it and actually go back and don't change it. I think. I think that caused, like, that was a big. A big, big switch in the game, dude. Like, because now they. They 10 yards further back, you know, and then they ended up getting sacked after that play, you know, where you can. You can run a shorter route out when you're 10 yards closer. Yeah. So I. I think that was a.
Joe Hayden
They gotta do better, man. How you. You see, they. They showed the man. He took the ball. I don't know how you do that.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, all the way.
Joe Hayden
The refs, man, they wild all the way.
James Debo Harrison
Like, you can see it when it comes off. The ball changes where it's going, trajectory, it motion, all that, like. And you. You get. Like. That's something where New York need to be like, yo, hey, that ball tip.
Joe Hayden
I think it should be, you know, if we can see. I don't know what's.
James Debo Harrison
Why.
Joe Hayden
So I like. I like the way that they're doing some of these instant replays, how they get switched a whole lot quicker. Like, when you see it, they're like, all right, bet. But it's just obvious. Things should be able to get switched quick. There's no, like, I don't get that. It's the NFL, bro. Like, these are real life, like these situations. Momentum like that joins me and you.
James Debo Harrison
Can see it like, you see it, it's replayed, replayed, replayed replay. Like, come on. I don't, I don't, I don't understand.
Joe Hayden
But look, I, I'm the Bills. This is what the Bills and the Chiefs, I robbed my whole perspective is what you think is going to happen later on, like Bills, when they play them into the playoffs.
James Debo Harrison
I don't know, man. It's so much up and down with the Chiefs defense on how they play week in and week out. And you know, they, they'll give up big plays here, they'll stop somebody here and then, you know, later on it's a shootout, you know, Patrick Mahone having to score 30, 40 something, you know what I'm saying? Just to, just to get the dub. I don't know. I think it's just more of I'm not worried about Pat Mahomes. As long as they can protect him and keep him upright, it's not an issue. But I also think that has some people hurt on their offensive line, but everybody has that. You got to be able to step in, pick up and keep it moving.
Joe Hayden
Yep, yep. I, I, my thing is with the Chiefs, I think that they're always, like you said, as long as they got Patrick Mahomes, as long as they had Andy, I'm never really worried about them too much. It's just about when it gets to the playoffs. I know they're always people getting healthy.

Joe Hayden
Difference Game still hasn't got right I hope Pacheco's gonna end up getting right but I just never. I'm not. I'm I'm almost to with Patrick Mahomes. Like I was like people got with Tom Brady. I'm not worried about what happens right now. We know they're gonna be in the playoffs and then we gonna see what they gonna what people gonna do with the Chiefs. That point with me where I've watched every game we're gonna see what's happening, how it's developing, they're getting people back. It's like worthy everybody rice. You know what I'm saying? Just getting them acclimated. But I know once it gets to the nitty gritty they gonna be there. So like what I don't know. People gonna have to deal with them. So just having a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes on your on your team, I think you know what I'm saying like he's generational. You know when he gets the ball he's going to get the ball every time you're on offense so you just feel like we can win this game.
James Debo Harrison
Game, yeah, that. That. That's no question about it. The Vikings, though, be Lions at home, bro.
Joe Hayden
I was not expecting that. That was not on my uno.
James Debo Harrison
That was not. That was not mine. I. I really feel like this became just really a battle of two defenses. One defense out playing the other one. You know, the Vikings defense played better, you know, than the. You know, than the Lions def. Defense. You know, the Lions gotta turn over early, but again, as I said, the later you get in the game, the bigger the turnovers will come. And then the Vikings, they get to turn over midway through the third quarter when, you know, David Montgomery, he fumbles the rock, and they're able to capitalize on that, and they score a touchdown, you know, and then I believe they. Oh, special teams, too. So they ended up getting that field goal block blocked. The Lions got the field goal block, and the Vikings capitalized off that and they. They got a field goal, you know, and then I think with just under two minutes left in fourth quarter, the Lions scored a touchdown with, you know, put them where they was at, but the defense couldn't hold up, and they ended up converting the third down for 16 yards. And from there, you know, basically the. You know, the game was over with the Vikings defense. Dude, they got shot after golf, five sacks, and then they held their Russian attack to only 65.
Joe Hayden
That's crazy, dude.
James Debo Harrison
That's a battle between two defenses. The one defense outplayed the other. And. And honestly, that's just how I look at everything because I'm a defensive player. I'm like, yo, we gotta outplay their defense. It don't really matter what our offense do. We gotta outplay because you keep them.
Joe Hayden
Out of the end zone, they don't score, they don't win.
James Debo Harrison
No question, dude, and. And Stillers defense, dude, that's. That's. That's what we did, man. We went out there and played. Dude, like, you either. What. What coach Take what Coach T. Say, you either apply pressure or you feel pressure. You know what I'm saying? And. And I always wanted somebody pressure. Even though it may be in a situation where we're under pressure, I want that pressure. What would Deon say? You. How do you put it? You apply. Do your peers apply pressure to you or do you apply pressure to your peers? Like, yo, I want to be in that situation where the defense got to go out here and we got an opportunity, we're down by three or whatever, and I want to be the one. I want the defense to be the ones to go out There, get that sack. Fumble recovery for a touchdown and then come back out after that and do a three or four and out and let the offense go in there and close the game. Talking about, I want to be in that position. That's what that, that's, that's. That's what I used to show up, man.
Joe Hayden
Same dude, same. Because when, you know, when you, when you got. You got Debo, you got that dog in you. You know what I'm saying? You got that dog in you. I got that dog in me. It's some type of dudes that just really want the moment and just, you know what I'm saying? This is what we was born for. We play ball, we want to be the best, and we're going to show people that we the best. And I like when we was going out there, like when I played for the Steelers too, when I felt like the defense was turn, you knew TJ was going to make a play, Cam was going to make a play, I was going to make a play, or Minka was going to make a play. Vince Williams going to make a play. We're rushing to get the sack. We rushing for them to get the sack. Or we know after first down, boom, they. We get them on third and long. They're rushing them fast. Either wat going to get a sack or he going to toss the ball up in the air and somebody going to get a pick. So, like, you just get hyped for those moments because it's not like you're anticipating bad stuff. You always know, like, no, I'mma make a play. Play. Something good is going to happen for the team.
James Debo Harrison
No question. No question. Washington, bro, the Commanders boy, they got dog walking. Oh, my God. Jalen was run. That boy, Daniel, that boy was running.
Joe Hayden
That's what I'm saying, man.
James Debo Harrison
Bruh. And then to add injury to insult, you lose Daniel with eight minutes left in the game and you down by 31 points. Why is he even in the game? He just came back from a hamstring. Why is he even in the game? And you don't even know how long you done lost him for yet. Like, it's no need. Listen, they got our number. Fourth quarter a start pulling out your players that you cannot replace. Your quarterback, you cannot replace between his performance as a one and your backup performance. It's a. A big guy.
Joe Hayden
He's your franchise.
James Debo Harrison
You.
Joe Hayden
They know that.
James Debo Harrison
What do you think, man? Do you think he should have kept him in there?
Joe Hayden
No, no, no, Deebo. I mean, Jaden Daniels and especially he's been getting hit. He's already coming off of an injury and 31 points down. You got to just be realistic. You know what I'm saying? At the end of the day, there's. And I'm not saying you pull out your. I'm not saying you pull out defensive starters, but your franchise quarterback that's been hurt and is, like, kind of just healing, and y' all are obviously lost the game, and he's been taking hits this whole game leading up to it. Not like this was his first time getting hit that game. Like, I would just. And then calling that play. It's a read option run play with the quarterback. Also, like, just trying to protect your guys when you know what position they're in. That's kind of how I'm looking at it. I would get. I would get him out. This game is out of reach at 31 7.
James Debo Harrison
So far out of reach, and now you lose your quarterback. And. Did they say what happened to his arm?
Joe Hayden
All I know is something with his elbow. Left elbow.
James Debo Harrison
Did they. Did they give a prognosis of what it is? I think they said it was dislocated, but. How long is that? What's the.
Joe Hayden
I don't know how long that. I don't know how long the dislocated elbow. But the good thing is it's a left elbow, so it's not. And it's throwing on.
James Debo Harrison
And listen, that don't matter when you trying to get away from people. He's an athletic court. He needs to run. He needs to. To kick them arms.
Joe Hayden
No, no. A thousand percent. But I'm saying people were. I'm just saying that because people are kind of.
James Debo Harrison
Did you see it, bro? That stuff did not look good.
Joe Hayden
I seen it, but people are comparing it to the RG3 injury, and I'm like, you think. You think that's similar? Was the left with an opposite arm than, like, a leg or his right arm?
James Debo Harrison
No, no, no, no. I'm with you. Yeah, you. You wanted to be the other arm, but at the same point in time, don't forget, he got to get snaps. He got to hold down.
Joe Hayden
He got to catch.
James Debo Harrison
He got hang around you.
Joe Hayden
It's gonna be a healing process. But I'm just saying, I believe they.
James Debo Harrison
Get an MRI today. So they go. They go get a evaluation of exactly what it is, how long they're looking at. But a dislocation, dude, that means something had to go. You don't usually get a dislocation without something tearing.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, I'm away I'm. We're gonna wait and see on this one because. Yeah, it just.
James Debo Harrison
It didn't look total opposite direction like that. That. That and yo, Carolina beat the Packers. Packers. Where was this at? You played us. You know, I'm so tired.
Joe Hayden
Y' all just Browns beat that ass. Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
And listen, bro, they lose. They lose. They lose on a. They lose on a last second field goal. 49 yard field goal goal. They lose 16 to 13. You know. Hey, speaking of field goals, Jacksonville's field goal kicker, Cam Little. That boy hit an NFL record 68 yarder to assist in them beating the Raiders 30 to 29, bro. 68. When we go? See soon, bro, soon.
Joe Hayden
The buddy from. I think Buddy from Dallas probably gonna hit that thing. Buddy from Dallas or him? Cause he. He kicked it with a little bit to spin there, dude.
James Debo Harrison
They said. I think they said he kicked one 70 yards, I guess in pregame or something.
Joe Hayden
It's them new. It's them new modified footballs.
James Debo Harrison
You let him work him in. Boy got that good leg, good contact. He's like. Well, I don't. I don't do golf, but I hear it's like, you know, hitting that ball and you. You hit it in the right spot.
Joe Hayden
Sweet spot.
James Debo Harrison
That thing flying.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, I had to spot a couple.
James Debo Harrison
I can't really do that golf thing too much, man. I ain't up, man. I damn near tore off my. My what you call that, right? My del, man.
Joe Hayden
That's what I'm saying. Swinging too damn hard. There's no way you're lifting all them weights. And throughout your delt, playing golf.
James Debo Harrison
Not throughout my delt, bro. I had to go get an mri. Everything, bro. I'm like, yo, this can't. This ain't right. Like, what was you. I was playing golf, bro.
Joe Hayden
No, Debo, I'mma take you to the man. We gonna go golfing and I'm gonna get you. Right?
James Debo Harrison
Right?
Joe Hayden
Cause I play. I play now deep. I've been playing now for about six years.
James Debo Harrison
Listen, man, I don't hit. I don't drive the ball no more. All I do is.
Joe Hayden
Okay. Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
If you want me at your golf event, I will go because it's charity. I'm trying to do whatever I can to help give back. That's not an issue. But do not expect me to be competitive or be upset or try and do anything seriously, okay? Because you do not want me, me on your team. But when I get there. When I get there. Listen, I'm go look.
Joe Hayden
Okay?
James Debo Harrison
I'm gonna have the glove On, Imma have the shoes on. Imma have the shorts and the shirt on. If it's a little chilly, I' ma have. Okay, I' ma had a hat. I'm even gonna have the clip on top of my hat to sit down to put this.
Joe Hayden
This is the real question. Are you gonna have your shirt. Are you gonna have your shirt tucked in?
James Debo Harrison
My shirt will not be okay. And I' ma talk so much trash and game that they gonna be like, wow, he really do this? Because I'm gonna tell you, I started young. I started young at a Tiger age. Woods. A Tiger woods age, you feel me? That's when I'm lying. Oh, they call me James woods. Okay. You know when I'm on the golf course, before they see me hit that first ball and then they realize I'm just talking hella, hella hell.
Joe Hayden
Talking out your ass.
James Debo Harrison
Oh, all the way. Ain't nothing but coming out. You know what I'm saying? But until you see that first swing, I got him nervous.
Joe Hayden
I'm just need you for the putting then, Debo. That's good. That's good. I ain't gonna lie to you.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, my puck game, my putt game. Trash too. I never said I was gonna make it. I said, I only think I do it. It won't hurt my shoulder. What is your golf game like while you up here, you know, talking about. I've been playing this old.
Joe Hayden
I'm about a 12, I'm about 11 index, you know what I'm saying? 11 handicap. People would say that that's not too good. That means I'm shooting. That means I'm probably. I'm shooting in like the high. I'm shooting in the high mid to high 80s. I'm shooting like 86, 87, 88. You know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
I mean, that's all right. I'm damn near scratched off.
Joe Hayden
No, you're not shooting in the 70s. That's no way. And you can't drive the ball, Debo. There's no way you're shooting 120.
James Debo Harrison
That's real disrespectful, Joe. You ain't never seen me on the course. Oh, I did.
Joe Hayden
Told me you trash. You told me you blew out your trying to drive.
James Debo Harrison
Maybe I was lying to set you up so I could go ahead and we could get this gambling together. And I bet a good 50, 50,000 on it and show you how it really goes.
Joe Hayden
See, there you go. You trying to parlay, but I'm not. No, I'll take it 50.
James Debo Harrison
Whenever you ready, you let me know.
Joe Hayden
Let's wait till it.
James Debo Harrison
Because I will not be available.
Joe Hayden
The weather just changed, so it's starting to get a little chilly outside. I'm gonna give you an off season.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, it don't matter. I will not be available. Whenever you let me know. You ready? I will not be available. I am not playing anybody and competing or betting anything. And go. I play you some tic tac total.
Joe Hayden
Oh, please. It's gonna be. I'm the. I know the cheat code. It's gonna be a cat.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, listen, man, listen. I play you in tic tac toe. We can play left, right, center. You know what? Left, yeah, center is okay. We play left, right, center. We play kick ass. Know what kick ass is?
Joe Hayden
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
You roll five dice, okay? And the dice add up to, to amounts. So if you roll 3, 3, 3 of anything, that's that amount. Except for if you roll three ones, that's a thousand. You automatically keep the thousand. But you need 750 to get on board. It'd be too long to sit here.
Joe Hayden
Okay, we get offline. Give it to me offline.
James Debo Harrison
But whenever you're ready, I give you some kick ass. You know, some space. Hold on. How you play? I play jailhouse.
Joe Hayden
I could play. I could play however anybody wants to play.
James Debo Harrison
I don't need autumn wilds. I don't need autumn wilds.
Joe Hayden
You know what I'm saying?
James Debo Harrison
That's for people who can't count.
Joe Hayden
We go eight. I can run aside, Jailhouse.
Odoo Advertiser
I call, I call.
James Debo Harrison
I call it Jailhouse.
Joe Hayden
We go joker, joker, deuce. We do anything. We do however you want.
James Debo Harrison
I whooped in some tongue.
Joe Hayden
I'm nice in all of those games that you're talking.
James Debo Harrison
Some, some uno, uno, reverse.
Joe Hayden
Oh, Debo, we got some super.
James Debo Harrison
You know how to play casino?
Joe Hayden
Play what?
James Debo Harrison
Casino. I'mma show you how to play casino.
Joe Hayden
You know how to play, right?
James Debo Harrison
Oh, you know how to play. You know how to play some boo.
Odoo Advertiser
Okay.
James Debo Harrison
No, I know. I play $20.
Joe Hayden
Only $20 now.
James Debo Harrison
$20 anning now. I can't. I, I, I, I, I can't afford to lose too much now.
Joe Hayden
Debo, I got to ask you something.
James Debo Harrison
All right.
Joe Hayden
We got a super chat. Yeah, got a super chat.
James Debo Harrison
What we got? We got what we got. Go ahead, take off with Christian.
Joe Hayden
Donated $10 and said Pittsburgh Steelers need a wide receiver. Where should the Pittsburgh Steelers lay their eyes on? Is waddle worth getting? I like, I like waddle.
James Debo Harrison
You know what? I like waddle. But I think we need to figure out how to shore up our offensive line. If we can figure a way to get effective runs that'll open up more of that passing.
Joe Hayden
Yeah, it's most.
James Debo Harrison
Not a one person. It's not a one, you know, item fits all.
Joe Hayden
And that's not the cutest decision. I mean, at the prettiest people want to get a receiver, but I rock if we get. If we can get a lineman, you know what I'm saying? And be able to open up some more holes. Because Jay. Jaylen running for 16 carries for 31 yards and my man Gain Will had three for minus one. That's not good. That's not good at all.
James Debo Harrison
That sound wild.
Joe Hayden
That sounds crazy.
James Debo Harrison
That sounds wild. Like I said, we got beaten every offensive statistical category. And to win that game is no way anybody would think that without knowing what the score was, looking at the.
Joe Hayden
Numbers because it was that the turnovers. And still we had six turnovers and we only won by seven, you know what I'm saying? Like that I was rocking with a. Ron said we need to drop at least 35, 42.
James Debo Harrison
Look at the Patriots game. Same, you know, same sort of thing.
Joe Hayden
All these. We winning the turnover margin by five, but plus five and winning by one touchdown. These games need to be easy walkways, you know what I'm saying? Like setting the self back up, losing the ball like that. We just can't do that. We could. We need to be able to just run away with some of them.
James Debo Harrison
Yeah, man, look here, man. I'm just happy to be celebrating a good victory Monday. Speaking of Monday, we got the Cardinals playing the Cowgirls. I mean the Cowboys balance. And we know Jerry ain't gonna be there.
Joe Hayden
Jerry got big business elsewhere.
James Debo Harrison
Gonna be at a meeting talking about that. That gas, getting that 100 billion. Hey, let this. Let this little 13 billion dollar organization sit on the side over here. I got the 100 billion. Y' all be there waiting. Y', all, y' all fans gonna be there paying that money, giving Jerry all that money. When he don't give two fiddle faddle flicks about that team.
Joe Hayden
He about that money.
James Debo Harrison
About that money. He gonna always be about that money. Look here, man, we really want to thank you.

And we gonna be talking about Them Cowboys, we gonna be talking about them Cardinals and how Jerry, he, he ain't gonna be at the game. I hope they ain't got no meeting. Well, you know what? He might be there because it's Monday night.
Joe Hayden
It's gonna be eyes there.
James Debo Harrison
He might be there. All the businesses for the gas and, you know, for the natural gas, all that, that's gonna be done in normal business. Come on, he gonna make it there. He got, he got, he got a jet and all that. And he go, he'll, he'll get there there probably with, you know, a good, a good two hour hour maybe before he might, he might just land what.
Joe Hayden
I'm saying, I know he got a pad on there. I know he got a pad.
James Debo Harrison
But then again, like, who knows, you know, he may have to do some, some other work in the after hours of it to make sure you sweeten the deal, get it right. You know what I'm saying? I'm just gonna tell you right now, if it's something else he got to do, coming at 8 o' clock time with that natural gas, that 100 billion, he ain't gonna be there, okay? He is not. He will be there.
Joe Hayden
It's Monday Night Football. He probably gonna. He gonna bring the billionaires there.
James Debo Harrison
Hey, hey. He gonna whine and dine a man stadium in the field. He most definitely go beat it. I forgot they was at home, Joe. That's a good point, Joe. I forgot they was at home. Look here. Come and see my stables. Come and see my.
Joe Hayden
Come and see my.
James Debo Harrison
Come and see my cabinet. Come. Come and see my stable. I got, I got a stable. Come and come and look at. Come and see my, my, my toy. You know, my little play business I play with over here.
Joe Hayden
Yeah.
James Debo Harrison
And look at all these fans around here. They believe in our cap. I'm Jerry Jones. I don't care nothing about nothing but that money. That money.
Joe Hayden
You ain't lying.
James Debo Harrison
That money. Hey, man, again, we want to thank y' all for coming, man. Make sure y' all come back tomorrow.
Joe Hayden
Like, subscribe. See y' all tomorrow, baby.
James Debo Harrison
And we out.

Hosts: James "Deebo" Harrison & Joe Haden
In this episode, NFL veterans James "Deebo" Harrison and Joe Haden break down a dramatic NFL weekend, highlighted by a gritty Steelers win over the Colts, the Bengals’ late collapse against the Bears, and key injuries shaking up the league. They offer candid player-level analysis, passionate criticisms, and ballplayer banter — all with that signature mix of insight and locker room humor.
Opening Vibes & Coin Toss Mindset
"We jumped on somebody's neck...We won the toss, and we said we want the ball. You know what that mean? That mean we about to run this ball down your throat or we go down here and score. That's the most disrespectful thing you could do in a coin toss." – Deebo (02:08)
Early Defensive Miscues & Adjustments
"You're in the right position, you're in the spot. Just don't use that, dance with them. Use your feet and get under and try to undercut some of these routes." – Joe Haden (09:08)
“Nephew, I'm telling you this because I love you, man. Rely on what it is you have. You gifted, man. You got speed and you got length.” (09:53)
Game-Changing Turnovers and Defense Comes Alive
“Get your head around...the ball hit him right in between the numbers...Leaving that with zero. That sucked.” – Joe (06:45)
“Only thing he could have did more was pick it up, get up off the ground and school, take it in for the touchdown.” – Deebo (10:33)
Momentum, Playmaking, and Defensive Physicality
Halftime and Second Half Defensive Themes
Late Game Drama: Turnovers and Close Calls
“What in your right mind told you that was a great move to make? ... you don't just land on you...You're gonna just land on your head.” – Deebo (28:04)
Defense Wins the Day Despite Offensive Woes
“We gotta go out there and do this week in and week out. A broke clock is right once a day...Show me who the real Steeler defense is.” (33:32)
“You can't go to the media and say that...It's called a football team on a team. Not a football. Me, I...” (39:43)
“That was a big, big switch in the game, dude...That’s something where New York need to be like, yo, hey, that ball tip.” – Deebo (44:49)
“It don’t really matter what our offense do. We gotta outplay their defense.” (51:18)
“Why is he even in the game? He just came back from a hamstring...Your quarterback, you cannot replace...” – Deebo (53:43)
“When we go? See soon, bro, soon. The buddy from, I think Buddy from Dallas probably gonna hit that thing.” – Joe (57:29)
“We got the Cardinals playing the Cowgirls. I mean the Cowboys balance. And we know Jerry ain't gonna be there. Jerry got big business elsewhere.” – Deebo (65:14)
Deebo, on defensive mentality:
“You either apply pressure or you feel pressure. Even if maybe in a situation where we're under pressure, I want that pressure.” (51:32)
Joe, on the ‘dog’ mentality:
“You got that dog in you...it's some type of dudes that just really want the moment...We play ball, we want to be the best, and we're gonna show people that we the best.” (52:35)
Banter on golf game:
“Listen, I don't drive the ball no more. All I do is...If you want me at your golf event, I will go because it's charity...But do not expect me to be competitive...But when I get there...I'm gonna have the glove On, Imma have the shoes on...I'm gonna have the clip on top of my hat...” – Deebo (58:36–59:20)
The episode is fast-paced, enthusiastic, and layered with real-player insight, honest criticism, and humor — especially during moments of banter or stories about post-game antics or the pitfalls of golf.
“Listen, man, I don’t hit. I don’t drive the ball no more. All I do is...If you want me at your golf event, I will go because it’s charity...But do not expect me to be competitive...” – Deebo (58:36)
Deebo and Joe deliver a lively, analytical, and entertaining breakdown of a wild NFL week — with unapologetically real football talk from two defensive specialists at the top of their storytelling game.
Catch phrases, honesty, laughter, and football smarts — this show is a celebration of all that makes the NFL (and the Steelers) great.
