Okay, have you heard about this? Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. Their fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back. And ° listen, that doesn't happen often.
They admitted that they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason it's the number one Manzani perspirant. And it's back in Walmart, Target and and other stores for under $4.
So try it and see what the fuss is about. Head to your local stores to try the OG Cool Rush for yourself.
Colin Cowherd

Foreign coach Brian Schottenheimer says Dak is still in developmental phase. I think Dak is in the developmental phase, and that sounds crazy for a guy who's played as much, but there are things we're tweaking with Dak. Dak is entering his 10th NFL season. Okay, what you think it Ocho?
Unknown Host
I mean, I'm trying to understand developmental phase. At what point in year 10 is something developmental at this point? Especially when it says, wait, it's not the same offense. It's the same offense from last year, if I'm not mistaken. Right?
Ocho Cinco
Nah, I guess he's gonna implement his because that was Mike McCarthy's offense.
Unknown Host
If that's the case, then he is in the developmental stage because he's having to learn a new offense, all the, all the new nuances and all the intricacies of that new offense. So I totally understand. I mean, that gives me better context. So, I mean, that's understandable. That's understandable. I'm excited for Dak, man. I'm excited for that. I just hope they ready to. I just hope they ready to use. Use. Pick the right way. CD Lamb is gonna get his regardless, especially when he plays in a slot. He's. When he. When CD Lamb is in a slot, it creates mismatches regards to who they're playing. It doesn't matter who they're planning. And we know what Pinkman can do on the outside. You can take a short and go hit his head off the goal post or he can go deep.
Ocho Cinco
Well, yeah, you got. I mean, look, they should be really explosive in the passing game. We're going to see. Can they protect it? Cause, you know, you lose. I mean, Zach Martin is retired. The offensive line was, wasn't. It was kind of shaky last year, Ocho. So let's see what they. What. How have they shored up that. The running game? Blue had some really good games, so it's going to be. It's going to be. It's going to be very interesting to see what the Cowboys are offensively as far as protection if we don' Look. Oh, you can have all the guys you want, but you don't protect your quarterback, ain't gonna do you no good at all. At all.
Unknown Host
That goes for the Cowboys. That goes for my Bengals. That goes for the goddamn Chiefs down there in Kansas City. Yeah, and who else? Well, hell, the Eagles don't got nothing to worry about for a long time.
Ocho Cinco
I mean, the Eagles got the best offensive line of football, though.
Unknown Host
Yeah, they got the best defensive line of football. Too.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, but, but I'm looking at, I mean, think about it. Look at the right tackle and the left tackle. You got Lane Johnson and my Lotta. You got your center. You replace it with Jason Kelce and you replace Jason Kelce and that guy, he's damn near all Pro, but he goes to the Pro bowl and you look at Dixon, one of your best guard. I mean, so they good, they set for, for the foreseeable future at the, at the, at the offensive line position. Should Dak be embarrassed that Brian Schottenheimer said that he's in the developmental state phase?
Unknown Host
Absolutely not. Because if you learn a new offense, it's completely different and you have to rewire and relearn everything, even though you played the game for 10 years. So saying he's in a developmental stage at this time where they're in ota, it's acceptable. Acceptable because that's what it is. It's a time for you to develop and learn everything that comes with that off. Because it's going to be completely different than what you learned before.
Ocho Cinco
Espn. Jeremy Fowler reports that Kyle Pitts would be open to a trade even though he's not necessarily looking to be moved and the Falcons aren't aggressively shopping him. So I checked with a source who said that, look, if Atlanta gets the right kind of deal for Kyle Pitts, it could very well could come together. This is not a situation where he's requesting a trade, but if he has a chance to go maybe to a better offense where he's more featured, he's sort of a third or fourth wheel right now in Atlanta. Could this. And could be something that he's open to.
Unknown Host
I like it. And he wouldn't be a third or fourth wheel if he hadn't gotten hurt. You have to understand, after the acl, he has, he hasn't been the same cow pits we saw at Florida. He just hasn't. And if, if you watch him close, there's a, there's a slight limp when he, when he, when he runs, there's a slight nimp. You can tell exactly which knee. You know, he tore his acl. Uh, it's unfortunate. As great as he is, he's still very good now that he's recovered somewhat from that, from that injury. I would like to see him in a different offense where he can be featured more.
Ocho Cinco
Well, yeah, yeah, I think that, that.
Unknown Host
I mean, where, where that would be, I'm not sure that's the problem. That's the, that's the problem.
Ocho Cinco
I think he'd Be great in Kansas City.
Unknown Host
Oh, that's nasty. A player like Kyle Pitts of his caliber before he got injured. If he hadn't got injured. We always talk about Hawkinson and la.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
Bowers, listen, he was eons above everyone I just named eons above. The only thing that set him back was that injury, huh?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
I don't understand how special he is. How many of those dudes I just named can go up, go line up out there, receiver, and run out?
Ocho Cinco
Ain't a whole lot of them. I mean, you know, hey, they're versatile now, but this guy had move, he had wiggle like you said. He could run the router, he could run the slant, he could run out, he run a comeback dig and cut. So, yeah, he was. He was special and. But now he's two years removed from that acl. Now he's in his fifth year, isn't he? Or is his fourth year. I think he's in his first year.
Unknown Host
It should be four. I think it's year four for Kyle, if I'm not mistaken. We gonna be. He gonna be all right. Good.
Ocho Cinco
Lisa, this is fifth year. Fourth year. Fifth because. Because I don't think they picked up his fifth year option.
Unknown Host
Look, that's a little motivation right there.
Ocho Cinco
It is motivation. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It's fifth year.
Unknown Host
Hey, listen. And I hope. I Hope Michael Penning Jr knows they didn't pick up that fifth year option and. And throwing the ball every play on purpose so he have a hell of a year so we can get paid in off season.
Ocho Cinco
OO.
Unknown Host
What's that?
Ocho Cinco
Falcons undrafted free agent Kobe Bryant. Spelled C, O, B, E, E. Kobe Bryant went after Lamar Jackson on Snapchat. Take a look at the picture.
Unknown Host
Is that Harden?
Ocho Cinco
Yep.
Unknown Host
Man, what Buddy doing?
Ocho Cinco
I mean, great regular season, not so much in the postseason.
Unknown Host
That's. The rookie did that.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah. Undrafted free agent.
Unknown Host
What's up with Buddy?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Unknown Host
I mean, that might be something personal. Maybe that's something personal we don't know about, huh?
Ocho Cinco
Bro, I don't know. Look, you all know I only know one Kobe Bryant, rest his soul.
Unknown Host
Yes, sir.
Ocho Cinco
And they spelled it like the state. So I don't know this young man, and he might turn out to be a phenomenal player, and I hope he does.
Unknown Host
Yes, sir.
Ocho Cinco
But it's a little early for you to be talking this kind of noise now. You need to be Pat. Sir.
Unknown Host
Tan.
Ocho Cinco
You need to be Jay Ram. You need to be one of them big dogs. Stingley Jr. Okay. You want to Take a shot. Okay, you gonna get. Come on now.
Unknown Host
Well, hold on, hold on. He got my attention now. He got Kobe Bryant, huh?
Ocho Cinco
Bro, you ain't gonna be paying no attention. We got bigger fish to be worried about than him.
Unknown Host
Hold on, hold on. No, we got bigger fish to. But if you take shots like this, right? You that boy. So now you got. Now you got my attention. So I'm trying to see what you like on that field.
Ocho Cinco
Well, hey, I sure hope they play the Ravens so we can find out.
Unknown Host
Hold on. What position?
Ocho Cinco
He play your corner, right? Woo.
Unknown Host
He a corner.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah. This man put James Harden head on Lamar Jackson body with the number and everything.
Unknown Host
Okay, who he play for? Huh?
Ocho Cinco
The Hawk. I mean, the Falcons.
Unknown Host
Okay. They the. The. The schedule out. Do the Ravens play the Falcons this year?
Ocho Cinco
I don't know. Do the Falcons play the Ravens?
Unknown Host
I'm. Hey, I'm. I'm. I'm gonna call him a dog. I'm gonna call AJ Terrell and ask AJ Terrell if Kobe Bryant really liked that. Yeah, I got. I gotta. I gotta. I gotta watch some film on young bull. No, normally when you talk like this or you know, you throw a little shade, that means that mean you like that.
Ocho Cinco
Man, that's a big old oak tree. That ain't no little shade. Yeah, I don't know what he was thinking with this one right here.
Unknown Host
Listen. I mean, you know what he was thinking.
Ocho Cinco
People tried to figure out why he did it. Hell, I don't know.
Unknown Host
I don't know either. That's why the first thing I said is maybe this is something personal that we don't know about.
Ocho Cinco
Well, he should go to Lamar because most of them.
Unknown Host
Most of the time when you're young like that, coming into the NFL, you always respect your elders, Especially the great was like that.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, but I told you, man, them jokes ain't had no.
Unknown Host
No respect.
Ocho Cinco
Nah, not like it.
Unknown Host
That's why I guess I don't.
Ocho Cinco
Man, I would have never. I don't know. It's just hard. But go ahead. I mean, look, that's that. Hey, look, we love the First Amendment. He has a right to say whatever he wants to say. Hey, bro, you have to go out there and back that up now.
Unknown Host
Oh, yeah. So now you put. Now you put the pressure on yourself. Not too hard.
Ocho Cinco
I mean, right now you got an alligator mouth now. Don't let. Don't have no hummingbird ass.
Unknown Host
Mm. Mm. I'm pinning pad at now. Gotta use that.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, they play the Raven. They play the Ravens next year. Nah, Lamar Beat up. Forgot about that. They need to get this thing. Oh, they need to get this going now. Hey. They say, hey, Lamar probably say, hey, Harbaugh. Y' all put this. Put them on the preseason schedule, and I'm playing. L. Jack said I'm playing. Hey, man, Lamar probably. Hey, you know, one of Lamar boys or somebody probably sent it to him, say, hey, dog, what's up with old boy? Yeah, my brother like, huh?
Unknown Host
Who?
Ocho Cinco
Look what I sent you.
Unknown Host
And one. One thing about. One thing about eight. He don't talk. He ain't even to respond. He ain't gonna answer.
Ocho Cinco
I know, but I'm saying he like. He probably like, what?
Unknown Host
Who?
Ocho Cinco
What? Who?
Unknown Host
Who? Yeah, who.
Ocho Cinco
Who is this?
Unknown Host
I just. I told you what he's trying to do. Huh?
Ocho Cinco
Get.
Unknown Host
Get your name out there. You do something. You do something. You ain't got no business no different than every. That reporter. That reporter with Kate, right?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, the Record.
Unknown Host
Listen, throw your name out there, throw the bait, throw the fish. Everybody gonna bite. Okay, Boom. That has. The camera's on me now.
Ocho Cinco
I guess he was at. I guess he was at Kansas last year. Ocho, huh? He was at Kansas. He could play college ball at Kansas last year.
Unknown Host
He was nice. He was like that.
Ocho Cinco
I don't know. What did Travis do? Well, I mean, he was undrafted, so, I mean, I don't know if he has decent speed. I don't know.
Unknown Host
Hey, chat. Chat, Kobe Bryant like that. Let me know now. Let me know. Let me know.
Ocho Cinco
Nah, I don't need to have a Keeb's number. I call a Keeb, Taliba or Chris Harris Jr. And ask them. They went to Kansas, they would know more.
Unknown Host
Wait, they Jayhawks?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
Wait, how Khalid get outta. He can go to Texas.
Ocho Cinco
Key with the Kansas. So did Chris Harris Jr. Oh, Chris.
Unknown Host
Okay. Okay. Okay.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what. I don't know what old boy was thinking about. I don't know what to prompt him. Cause Lamar don't really do no talking. I mean, every once. I've seen. I've probably seen Lamar at more at, like, fashion events, chilling as opposed to seeing doing anything else. I know. I think. I don't know if he still has it. I know he used to have his. His camp. His football camp.
Unknown Host
Right, Right.
Ocho Cinco
Lamar lays really, really low.
Unknown Host
Oh, he. He crazy low, bruh.
Ocho Cinco
So I'm. I'm. I. I. I don't. I don't know. What. What.
Unknown Host
What.
Ocho Cinco
What prompted Buddy to. To do this?
Unknown Host
I don't know.
Ocho Cinco
I tell.
Unknown Host
I'M telling you, it's something personal. I'm telling you. We just. We just don't know about it because nobody takes where he's from.
Ocho Cinco
Is he from Florida?
Unknown Host
He ain't he from the crib?
Ocho Cinco
That's what I'm asking Ash. Ash is looking for it now. I don't know where. I don't know where he from. Evergreen, Alabama, I don't think they had no demons on Joe.
Unknown Host
Nah. Listen, I know he must be like that. That's all I know. Anytime you take a shot like that, that high, you got to be able to back it up with your plate. So I know he must. He got to be that boy.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, I know. Yeah. No, I don't know about all that, Ojo. Yeah, I mean, we'll see. Oh, look, I'm not making light of him being an undrafted free agent, because all I'm saying, you give me a helmet and shoulder pads and then I'll show you what I'm capable of doing.
Unknown Host
Yeah. Yep.
Ocho Cinco
I look at it like that. So all that other stuff, I don't get calling well, he was this, he was that. I don't know, Chad, I don't know. I wish I knew. Maybe Chad, y' all can chime in the chat and says, well, he said Lamar said something about this or he been going at Lamar for a minute. I don't know. So I don't want to speculate, getting a conjecture or innuendo. All I know is that it seems from where I'm sitting, I don't know how Ocho feel, but it seems like from where I'm sitting, he took an unprompted shot at Lamar.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
And everybody knows what that means. That means that, hey, James Harden sensational in the regular season become post season, not so much.
Unknown Host
Yeah. Hey, now you. Now you got that. You got that target now.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
Every time you at seven yards, every time you impress now, this is going to come up. So, you know, you got. Well, you got to come to play, bro.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, yeah, Fast for sure. Well, you have to play anyway. But look, because there are a lot of guys. There are a lot of guys in this league that have the utmost respect for Lamar.
Unknown Host
Yeah, all of them.
Ocho Cinco
And so when you take, when you take a shot at him, they're like, bro, this man don't bother nobody. And a lot of people, you know, there's some that feel like, man, he should have been a three time mvp, they robbed him of that. So they, like I said, I don't know the kid. So I wish him the best. But hey, he talking like that, he might be like that. Don't.
Unknown Host
Yo. Yeah, we gonna find out. I know one thing. I know who he is now. So all I want to see is if the memes and the jokes match up with the play. Because it got to be. It got to be balanced. It can't be one or the other. It got to make sense.
Ocho Cinco
It absolutely has to make sense.
Unknown Host
And especially with a dude like Kobe Bryant, even though it's football, you got to represent.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know if I'd have. Hey, they named Kobe Bryant, obviously. I mean, there have been a lot. I mean, there are a lot of Kobe's. Yeah, there are a lot of Kobe's.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
Since that Kobe that burst onto the scene at Lower Meridian in Philly and drafted by the the Hornets and traded to the Lakers, yeah.

Hey so we all make mistakes, but owning up is the right thing to do. You know Degree Cool Rush deodorant? Well, last year they changed the formula and it did not go well with their fans.
Degree's whole thing is it turns up the sweat and odor protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the original formula. One guy even started an online petition.
And Degree listen, they admitted they effed up and are bringing the original cool rust back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. It's back in Walmart, Target and other stores now for under $4.
There's a reason why it's been the number one men's Annie purse print for the last decade. It's the same reason why people were not happy when it changed. So if you never tried it, it might be a good time to see what the fuss is about.
Head to your local Walmart or Target to try the OG Degree Cool Rush for yourself.

Number three of the Bengals. Number four, the Texans. 5 Chargers 6 Bikes 7 Cardinals 8 Jags 9 Falcons 10 Titans 11 Panthers 12 Browns. You like the order?
Unknown Host
Yeah, I mean the order is understandable. Simply. I see we're at 4 and they have the lines in front of us. I think because we start so goddamn slow. We start so slow and we're climbing towards the end of the season. Scrambling trying to get ourselves out of hole where we haven't even got a chance to consistently, consistently be in the talks of being in contention and playoff contention each and every year. Winning the division and taking care of business early in the season so we don't have anything to worry about. Now all the team that were mentioned take care of business every single effing year and are leasing contention and have a chance when it comes to playoffs. Lions, The Bills. Who's the. Who's the. Who's the. Is it. Who's the third team on this?
Ocho Cinco
Bills? Lions, Bengals, Texans, Chargers, Vikings.
Unknown Host
Oh, we were, huh? We were the third team.
Ocho Cinco
Yes.
Unknown Host
Okay. Okay. We. Okay.
Ocho Cinco
We good.
Unknown Host
But we're third because of what I just said, though. That damn slow start, man. Damn. We gotta fix that, man.
Ocho Cinco
Well, y' all didn't fix it soon enough, so I' ma need that.
Unknown Host
Need what?
Ocho Cinco
My daddy ruckus. You don't mind handing it over to me, do you?
Unknown Host
You talking to me?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah, I'm talking to you.
Unknown Host
Wait, hold on. You say you need your. Your daddy's records, boy. What that mean? I ain't never heard that before. That's some old. That's some country.
Ocho Cinco
My money.
Unknown Host
Hey, what you call it? Your daddy records?
Ocho Cinco
That's something. Yeah, I wore by Daddy records.
Unknown Host
Okay, I like that. That's a nice slang right there, boy.
Ocho Cinco
Can I get that on Joe?
Unknown Host
Hey, I'm. You know what? Do me a favor. Do me a favor.

Boston sports talk radio host and former New England Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak says it's possible that the Pats could release Stefon Diggs before he ever plays it down for the team. Speaking on 98 to 5 Sports Hub, Zolak said the following about the potential of the Patriots cutting digs. I came to this show yesterday with the opinion. With. With the opinion. Not an opinion, but the knowledge that is on the table that is being thought of, and it's just not the boat. It's just not the boat. There are some other things that I've heard that put some things into question. Are you all in here? He's Ocho. This is what he said. I came to this show yesterday with the opinion. Not an opinion, but the knowledge that it is on the table.
Unknown Host
A whole bunch of nothing. That's what I say.
Ocho Cinco
Ocho. But, you know, when you go to places like New England, you know, Ocho, you know how you got to move? You can't move like you can. I know it's the off season, but you can't move like you were there. As a matter of fact, I don't even want to talk about it. Talk about when you was there.
Unknown Host
Hold on, hold on. Bill Belichick ain't there no more.
Ocho Cinco
It's the same system. Let me ask you a question.
Unknown Host
Mike Vrabel doesn't. Doesn't. Doesn't work with a hard hand the way Bill does. Now, we talk about a players coach. Now you got Mike in there. It's a different ball game.
Ocho Cinco
Okay.
Unknown Host
I'm sure he doesn't run that like a military system. Hey, Chad. Hey. I swear for God, but my right hand to God, if anybody in the chat has seen the movie Full Metal Jacket, if you've seen them Full Metal Jacket, I know you saw Full Metal Jacket, right?
Ocho Cinco
Yes.
Unknown Host
Remember the beginning of the movie?
Ocho Cinco
Yes. Yes.
Unknown Host
I've never been to the army, never been to the Navy, never been a Marine, but the way the drill sergeant was in that movie is what it felt like. The structure, the discipline, where everything had to be right. The cursing, the. It didn't matter who you was, who you were. Everybody was expendable. That's how Bill. That's the kind of ship, type of ship Bill ran.
Ocho Cinco
This is what Mike Rabel said. He wasn't happy with the video either. It's something we're aware of, and obviously we want to make great decisions on and off the field. Any conversation that I've had with Stephon will remain between him and I and the club. So I'm going to ask you again. Ocho.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
If it was no big deal, do you believe the head coach would have said what he said, but he didn't have a chance. Any conversation or may not have will remain.
Unknown Host
He had no choice but to say something because everybody made a big deal of the goddamn thing.
Ocho Cinco
No, no, no, no. I don't worry about what the fans say. I ain't got nothing to do with that. I run the club.
Unknown Host
You have to, because that's the. That's the era we're in. We're in a social media era. So if there's a video.
Ocho Cinco
Ever respond. Did Bill Belichick ever respond? Now, there were things going on in.
Unknown Host
Tennessee he didn't respond to Bill and Mike. They're two completely different coaches.
Ocho Cinco
There are different coaches, but where do you think he learned how to coach? Where do you think you learned from what you're around?
Unknown Host
I have a question.
Ocho Cinco
Yes.
Unknown Host
Everybody under Bills Bell that went to be a head coach, how did they do?
Ocho Cinco
I'm not saying they. I'm not saying.
Unknown Host
I'm not saying able to do or emulate or at what he's done.
Ocho Cinco
But here's the thing. You want to have as few of distractions. Teams that have few distractions, those are the teams that normally win. Not saying always, because the cowboys of the 90s, they were so talented. They had distractions and won regardless. But the question, look here, for Scott Zolak to say what he said. He said this is not an opinion.
Unknown Host
Who is Scott Zolak?
Ocho Cinco
He calls play by play. He does color for the Patriots.
Unknown Host
Okay. Okay.
Ocho Cinco
He was there when you was there.
Unknown Host
Okay. All right.
Ocho Cinco
He said this is not. He said with the opinion. Not an opinion, but the knowledge that it is on the table. Now, why would he have said that if it's not the case?
Unknown Host
They say a lot of things. They say. They say a lot of things.
Ocho Cinco
So you say he making this up?
Unknown Host
No, I just said I take it with a grain of salt.
Ocho Cinco
Okay.
Unknown Host
Can I ask you a question?
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
Who's the best receiver in that wide receiver room right now?
Ocho Cinco
That ain't how they do it in New England. It's the Patriot way.
Unknown Host
It ain't. You don't even have the players to have the Patriot way anymore. You can't move. Number 12 is gone.
Ocho Cinco
Ray Lewis is not there. 12 clubs and Reed are not in Baltimore. You play like a Raven.
Unknown Host
Is different. You have a Lamar Jackson the stand. There is no Tom Brady in that.
Ocho Cinco
Lamar Jackson did not fit the culture in Baltimore. I don't care how great Lamar is. Lamar Jackson did not fit the culture for what's in Baltimore. That was long established way before Lamar Jackson set foot in Baltimore.
Unknown Host
Wait, I'm talking. I'm talking about from a skill set.
Drake.
Ocho Cinco
Matt. I'm not talking about the culture in which you do things, Ocho. The military. First of all, it's not people that go to the military. It's been established the military run regardless of who's there. You set the standard. You do things a certain way. I'm not. Listen, I don't really know Stephon Diggs. I know he's a phenomenal receiver. I know he's coming off an injury, and I do believe he can help the Patriots.
Unknown Host
Yeah, he's the best receiver there. What do you mean?
Ocho Cinco
Believe on one leg. Ocho, was he the best receiver in Buffalo? Let him go. Was he? Was he. He was one of the best receivers in Houston.
Unknown Host
Yes, but Nico Collins was that boy. Nico Collins damn near top five. But Go ahead.
Ocho Cinco
Let me ask you a question. Was Tyreek Hill the best receiver in Kansas City?
Unknown Host
Hell, yeah.
Ocho Cinco
Was Randy Moss the best receiver in Minnesota? In Oakland? In New England? Was Keo the best receiver in San Francisco? Was he the best receiver in Philly? Was he the best receiver in Dallas?
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
You see where I'm going with this?
Unknown Host
Yes.
Ocho Cinco
Okay, I see you going. But also.
Unknown Host
Also, everybody doesn't have to move like a goddamn robot. It's the off season. He's on a boat. Okay? Now, everybody don't want to live like that. Oh, that's boring.
Ocho Cinco
Ocho, he's having problem.
Unknown Host
I don't.
Ocho Cinco
Ocho, you. You. You killing the messenger.
Unknown Host
No, no, no, no, no. Wait. Stay with me. You talk. Listen. Listen to me. Stay with me real quick. When you. You operate in a different manner, you stay with me. I love you to death. You operate in a different manner. Yeah. For New England, they have a certain way to do things. Everybody's not living life born like a robot. Everybody operate that way.
Ocho Cinco
But here's the thing.
Unknown Host
He gets nothing on. He's on a boat, and that's it.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, then listen.
Unknown Host
They talk about he knows he's being filmed. So whatever he's passing out is not what people are saying it is. I'm sure he told Rabo that it was harmless.
Ocho Cinco
Ojo, all I'm saying is, is that. Excuse me. In certain situations, you have to move accordingly. I understand that. In the off season, that should be my free time, right? But you just have to, you know, you have to move a certain way.
Unknown Host
I got you.
Ocho Cinco
That's all I'm saying.
Unknown Host
With you. I'm with you. But listen, listen. We're in a different time. We're in a different time. Players are a little different. Unc, you ain't going nowhere. You know? My cheap ass ain't going nowhere. I've been in Miami all my life. I've been on the boat one time in 2000, and I threw up. I ain't been on the boat since.
Ocho Cinco
Right?
Unknown Host
So, I mean, just. I'm just looking at it from a different landscape. Not defending Stephon Diggs at all. I'm just looking at it from a different standpoint of. But damn, these boys can't even live their life. Cameras everywhere. You really can't do nothing. You can't go to where.
Ocho Cinco
But, you know, it was like that in New England. Oo, cuz, guess who's still there? Mr. Kraft. Oh, you think he's on. You think he's on board with this? You know how he Is.
Unknown Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, but listen, they. They had one year, right? Yes, they gave. They. They fired. What's name. After. After. Come on, what's his name? Huh?
Ocho Cinco
Oh, Rod Mayo.
Unknown Host
Rod Mayo. They gave him one year. You know, pride. So now Brayvo's there. We want to turn things around fast as possible, get all the pieces around a quarterback and Drake May, who played very well last year, and they wanted to make another leap this year, giving them all the right pieces and players that make his job easier. Stefan Diggs is one of those players that makes his job easier in that, in that wide receiver room. Veteran presence, very good receiver, one of the better rock runners of the league despite ACL injury. Hell, he wanted the better rock runners in the league with one leg. Excuse me recursion, but I understand what happened. Steph probably won't have this issue again. Probably won't be on any boats again, probably won't be around cameras again. But he still the same life he's always lived. This is. This has always been him, I'm sure. You know, I know him personally and just what we saw isn't what it was.
Ocho Cinco
I believe it. I just. I just think the thing is, is that you have to understand where like, okay, maybe they allowed you to do that in Buffalo, allowed you to do that in Houston. But you know, when you go to New England, they operate on a different set of rules. They do and they really do because Mr. Kraft, you know, he likes as little distraction as possible. Even though Coach Belichick, the Patriots, I guarantee you, they still got a sign up. Say even Coach Belichick is gone, Ron Brady is gone. They probably still got a thing up that says the Patriot way. Just like the Ravens have a play like a Raven.
Unknown Host
Yeah, absolutely.
Ocho Cinco
That culture was established a long time ago. And the thing is, is that what helped Baltimore is as you mentioned, Lamar came in and he bought into that culture. Play to a standard. I'm playing. All that other stuff don't even matter. Yeah, I play to the coach. I play it like a Raven. The Ray Lewis's and the Rod Woodsons and the Terrell Suggs and Ed Reed myself when I was there. There's a standard in which you play to. And it helps when you don't have a Ray Lewis and all those guys there. But you still have a Lamar. Right. And so Lamar's job is make sure the guys that hopefully he has another decade that he treads like, look, guys, I'm not going to be here forever, but there's a tradition here and your job is to uphold that. So, yeah, it's just a different time now, Ocho. It's different. Yeah, it is really, really different.
Unknown Host
It's so funny. I'm not gonna go there. I'm not gonna go there. But we talk about, you know what? I ain't gonna do it because we talk about the Patriots. And you know what? I'm gonna leave it alone.

So we all made mistakes, right? But owning up to them? It's the right thing to do. But we all know Degree Cool Rush deodorant well last year they changed the formula and it did not go over well with the fans. Degree's whole thing. It turns up sweat other protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the OG formula. Brad Holmes. Yeah, he's the general manager of the alliance, right? Takes reporters to task over past criticism. Let's take a listen to what he had to say. Oo.
Brad Holmes
When you look back at those picks and those picks were not welcomed by many in this room, you know, Dave, you want us to pick quarterback, you didn't want us to pick Penne Sewell. You know, people didn't want us to wait till the fourth round to draft a wide receiver, but every single move was intentional. I think y' all would expect me to be accountable when I'm up here, when things don't go right. You would expect me to be accountable when you heard so much negativity about our draft. And then when I said, look, wait till they start playing football. It'll be appreciative when they started playing football and people started giving credit. The negativity kind of just everybody forgot about it. I give probably two people credit in this room that said, you know, I was wrong.
Unknown Host
I like that. I like that. I like the fact that he can sit up there and actually do that and let the media know that you guys don't know the game like I do. I know what I'm doing when I'm in that war room. I've studied you guys might have been. Y' all might be a part of the meeting. You might be analysts, you might understand the game, but you don't know it as well as I do. That's why I'm in the position I'm in now, picking and choosing what our team needs, what our needs are, what players best fit our system. And he hasn't missed yet.
Ocho Cinco
Yo made the trade for Eric Dolph.
Unknown Host
What effing reporter complained about Pene Sewell.
Ocho Cinco
Getting drafted because they wanted him to take. They wanted him to take Chase.
Unknown Host
Oh, okay. Oof. Understandable. But listen, you didn't miss with Jameson Williamson and Aman Ross, St. Brown. Now, it ain't winner, but you still got some dogs.
Ocho Cinco
You got Brian Branch.
Unknown Host
You got Jameer Gibbs, and they don't.
Ocho Cinco
You got into arms Arnold there.
Unknown Host
Carry on. Carry on, Arnold. Yeah, he's nice. He nice.
Ocho Cinco
You got him.
Unknown Host
Hey, we get my dog to stop holding and use his feet a little bit more.
Ocho Cinco
You got Hutchinson.
Unknown Host
You're gonna be all right.
Ocho Cinco
You got Hutchinson. Because here's the thing, when guys miss. Oh, you could have had this guy. You could have had that guy. Be quick to write that in the paper. We'll write that in the paper. How good Brad Holmes has been with.
Unknown Host
His draft selection, and he hasn't missed. Hey, I have a question. Was he there when they drafted. Is it not? Arnett? There's another. There's another. There's another DB that I really like from Ohio State that went. That they. I think he got drafted to.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, you talk about.
Unknown Host
Hey, I. I really liked him in college.
Ocho Cinco
What's the guy name? He went to Atlanta. He was a. Yeah, I know who you talking.
Unknown Host
Okuda. Jeff Okuda.
Ocho Cinco
No, Jeff Okuda.
Unknown Host
Hey, I like the young bull. Where's Jeff Okuda now? Anybody know anybody in the chat know where Jeff is now? I really like.
Ocho Cinco
I really like. I think he only like his third or 14th.
Unknown Host
Nah, it's only like year. Year four, year three or four for him.
Ocho Cinco
Okay.
Unknown Host
Hey, I like. I like him, man. Hey, that goddamn Brian Branch.
Ocho Cinco
What team is he on now. Because he got traded. I think they traded him. Yeah, but where is he? Yeah, he got drafted to Detroit, though. He got drafted to Detroit. He was in Atlanta. He was in Houston. Now he's on Minnesota. I said he's on his third or 14 now.
Unknown Host
Right. Damn. Yeah. I wonder why. I don't know.
Ocho Cinco
I don't know what you was talking about. Like, yeah, he's not there. No, he's on his third.
Unknown Host
I know he's not there. I'm just. I'm just saying.
Ocho Cinco
No, I'm saying. But I knew he was on his third or fourth team.
Unknown Host
Oh, okay. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, I like him. I like.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, Joe. O.J. said he never wanted to leave the Giants. I never, ever wanted to leave New York Giants. The reason you heard me talking about what I was going on was because I was pissed, because where I come from in college, if we lost one game, our season was over. This was the organization I got drafted to. They believed in me. So if the Giants went and won the Super Bowl, I would be happy. But deep down inside, I wanted to be the one. No question. So it's definitely. You'll always hold that. But then someone like me went. The Rams won the super bowl, but still, you just won't back. Odell has bounced around between five teams since joining the NFL in 2014.
Unknown Host
Yeah, man. Odell, man, you don't realize, Ocho. Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
You and I both. I played on two teams. Yeah, you played on two teams.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
You don't realize how good you got it. You. Everybody always thinks it's better somewhere else. And I can. I'm gonna have so many more catches, and I'm gonna have so many more yards, and I'm have so many more touchdowns, and everything that you need is right where you are. Yep.
Unknown Host
You know what? But he was in a situation where he didn't want to leave. He didn't want to leave. He. He was. He was perfect. He was perfect in New York.
Ocho Cinco
Well, you have to. You have to, Ocho. You can't say, I don't want to leave this job. And I conduct myself in a manner which they're going to get rid of me, Ocho. Damn.
Unknown Host
Yeah. Yeah, you're right.
Ocho Cinco
Right.
Unknown Host
Don't scream at me.
Ocho Cinco
But I'm saying. No, but I'm saying he said he didn't want to leave, but do you. I mean, Odell could have conducted himself in a way, and they wouldn't have. He put him in a. He put him. He backed him in a corner.
Unknown Host
Yeah, yeah. You right. You're right. A unbelievable man.
Ocho Cinco
Odell's first four years was as electrifying as you gonna see any receiver.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
You go back and look at his numbers. You look at the amount of yards, the amount of touchdowns, the highlight plays. He was sensational.
Unknown Host
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely box office, baby.
Ocho Cinco
And he was tailor made for that because of his personality. He said he perfect.
Unknown Host
Perfect.
Ocho Cinco
Bro. He could have been Michael Strahan. He could have been g. I mean, he had. I mean, he had New York eating out the palm of his hand.
Unknown Host
Hey, that's the. That's the perfect scenario. But you know, it's funny, I think if for. For Odell, if. I think he's able to reflect and look back on it now, he would probably change the way.
Ocho Cinco
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Unknown Host
Wait, not the way he acted on. On the. Not on the field. I'm talking about on the field. Maybe some of the stuff on the sideline. Maybe some of the stuff.
Ocho Cinco
Yes.
Unknown Host
That we. Yes, I think he'll change some of that. But for sure, what he did on the field. Oh, my goodness.
Ocho Cinco
No, he was special. He was special.
Unknown Host
Oh, yeah. Listen, I said it not too long ago. We had some shows a while ago. I say he might have been the first million receiver. And this was before they even got to the money they get into now. That's how special in box office he was. Well, that. That's what he was trending towards.
Ocho Cinco
Yeah.
Unknown Host
Oh, my goodness. Man.
Ocho Cinco
He. I just. That. That's what I. I mean, I hate that.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
Because he. I promise you, he gonna kick himself because he knows he never should have left the Giants. He knows it. I mean, what. He wasted two. Two years in Cleveland. Yeah. In Baltimore, year in Miami. The Rams was a great pickup from. He had a quarterback to get him the ball. He had an offensive coordinator that knew how to get him the ball. He had Cooper cup that was playing phenomenal. So when he double cup, he's working one on one. You remember the game he had against Tampa because they was trying to double Cooper cup. He goes for 100. Cooper cup, still get his 100. He was playing well in the championship game against the 49ers. Played well in the Super Bowl. Had a touch, caught the first touchdown, tore his knee up. That's the second time he had torn that knee up.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
And just. And then all of a sudden, you know, he broke his ankle. I think he broke his ankle. There's only so much. There's only so much twitch you got in your body. Only so much twitch you got Ocho, there's only so much you got. He was phenomenal. I mean, his hands, his route, running. His is his. He played a lot bigger than his stature.
Unknown Host
Absolutely.
Ocho Cinco
Hey, his run after the catch, I was just.
Unknown Host
I was just getting ready. Hey, what is it about every goddamn LSU and Alabama receiver? They are phenomenal with the ball in their hands. Phenomenal Jettas, chase, Brian Thomas Jr. Julio.
Ocho Cinco
Jones, Jerry, Judy, Malik, neighbors.
Unknown Host
Malik, man.
Ocho Cinco
Because each one teach one. They go back and they teach, you know, Julio. And you got Calvin Ridley and you got Amari Cooper, and you got. You got Waddle, and you got Devonte and you got, you know, you got Judy.
Unknown Host
Yeah, it's one thing to be able to run routes, but then they got the other half.
Ocho Cinco
All of them can run. Roddy White says Kyle Shanahan told him he'd rather throw the ball to Jacob Tammy than Roddy with the game on the line. Shanahan told Roddy he wasn't a top four option on the 2015 team.
Unknown Host
Man, Shanahan lying like crazy, man. We talk about Roddy White, boy. Not just anybody, we talk about Roddy White, but that boy. 84, huh? As an Atlanta legend to me, a play I used to watch you talk about Roddy, stop playing.
Ocho Cinco
Damn. Julio had.
Unknown Host
He said that for real?
Ocho Cinco
I don't know. That's what Roddy White said. Hell, I wasn't there.
Unknown Host
Hey, Roddy, don't.
Ocho Cinco
Roddy White, Julio had 203 targets. He had 136 catches, 1871 yards, eight touchdowns. Jacob Tammy. He had 81 targets, 59 catches, 657 yards, one touchdown. Devonte Freeman. He had 97 targets, 73 catches, 578 yards, three touchdowns. Roddy White had 70 targets, 43 catches, 506 yards, 11.8 yards per catch, one touchdown.
Unknown Host
Well, what was this, his last year or something?
Ocho Cinco
I think it was his last year in Atlanta.
Unknown Host
Oh, but that. That I would see why the numbers look like that. Yeah, I see what I.
Ocho Cinco
Look, I'm not. I know something about Kyle. I've known him since he was a kid.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
Played for his dad. He has a lot of dad. He got a guy like Julio is this guy.
Unknown Host
Yeah.
Ocho Cinco
Hope Julio gets a blow because that's when the ball gonna come your way. Oh, he gonna feed. Oh, his number one receiver gonna get fat.
Unknown Host
Feed him, huh?
Ocho Cinco
That's the way. That's the way the west coast system work, right?
Unknown Host
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Most definitely.
Ocho Cinco
Look at Jerry, look at T. And that sister. Look at my brother. And that's. That sister.
Unknown Host
And look at, look at Cooper Cup Triple Crown year. Look at drafting Puka Nakua. Okay. Boom. Same same thing.
Ocho Cinco
Yep. Go back and look at Green Bay when it was Antonio Freeman and all those guys that Whiskey.
Unknown Host
Hey, Green. Green Bay still run west coast. But it's by committee now.
Ocho Cinco
Yes.
Unknown Host
Who gonna have a goddamn day?
Ocho Cinco
Well, that's what, that's what Jacoby said. That's what Jacob said. We need a dog. You need one guy that you can throw the ball to and he gonna, hey, he gonna go get it. But like I, you know, you asked me. I don't know. I don't know the volume. We finally switched to T Mobile because with them we can be connected here and there.

Club Shay Shay: Nightcap Best of NFL - Part 2: Will Pats Release Stefon Diggs? + Lamar Jackson Shaded Release Date: June 2, 2025
In the second part of the "Nightcap Best of NFL" series, NFL legend Shannon Sharpe engages in a vibrant discussion with co-host Ocho Cinco, delving into pressing topics surrounding the league's top teams and players. This episode primarily focuses on the potential release of Stefon Diggs by the New England Patriots and the subtle jabs aimed at Lamar Jackson. Below is a comprehensive summary of the key discussions, insights, and conclusions drawn during the episode.
The conversation kicks off with an analysis of New England Patriots' General Manager Brad Holmes addressing the possibility of releasing Stefon Diggs. Holmes emphasized accountability and confidence in his draft decisions despite initial negative receptions.
Notable Quote:
"[...] every single move was intentional. I think y'all would expect me to be accountable when I'm up here, when things don't go right."
— Brad Holmes [38:52]
Sharpe and Cinco dissect Holmes' stance, questioning the implications for Diggs and the Patriots' future performance. They discuss whether releasing a high-caliber receiver like Diggs aligns with the team's long-term strategy.
A significant portion of the episode centers around an undrafted free agent named Kobe Bryant, who made headlines by taking a playful dig at Lamar Jackson on social media. The hosts explore the potential motivations and repercussions of such comments within the highly competitive environment of the NFL.
Notable Quote:
"If you take shots like this, right? You that boy. So now you got my attention."
— Unknown Host [10:09]
Sharpe and Cinco debate whether Bryant's remarks are personal or part of a broader attempt to gain attention in the league. They also consider Lamar Jackson's adaptability and reputation within the team culture, questioning how such interactions might affect team dynamics.
The discussion shifts to Dak Prescott and his progression under the Cowboys' coaching staff. Coach Brian Schottenheimer's remarks about Prescott being in a "developmental phase" spark a debate on the quarterback's readiness and the team's offensive strategies.
Notable Quote:
"If you learn a new offense, it's completely different and you have to rewire and relearn everything."
— Unknown Host [05:14]
Cinco supports the coach's statement, highlighting the challenges Prescott faces in adapting to new offensive schemes. They analyze the impact of the offensive line's performance on Prescott's development and the overall effectiveness of the Cowboys' passing game.
The hosts explore the rumors surrounding Kyle Pitts' willingness to be traded from the Atlanta Falcons. Despite not actively seeking a move, Pitts' potential trade targets are discussed, with an emphasis on how a change of environment could benefit his career post-injury.
Notable Quote:
"This is not a situation where he's requesting a trade, but if he has a chance to go maybe to a better offense where he's more featured, he's sort of a third or fourth wheel right now in Atlanta."
— Ocho Cinco [05:42]
They further discuss Pitts' injury history and its lingering effects on his performance, contemplating whether a transition to a team like the Kansas City Chiefs could rejuvenate his impact on the field.
Sharpe and Cinco provide a broader analysis of NFL team performances, referencing CBS Sports' rankings of teams most likely to win their first Super Bowl. They critique the Bengals' slow start to the season and emphasize the importance of consistent performance and early-season success for playoff contention.
Notable Quote:
"We got a chance when it comes to playoffs. Lions, The Bills. Who's the... What's the..."
— Unknown Host [21:27]
The conversation extends to draft picks and team building, praising Brad Holmes for his successful selections despite initial criticism. They highlight the importance of strategic drafting in assembling competitive rosters and ensuring long-term success.
A comparative analysis of coaching philosophies emerges as the Patriots' new head coach Mike Vrabel is contrasted with the legendary Bill Belichick. The hosts discuss how Vrabel's approach differs from Belichick's disciplined, military-style regimen and the potential consequences for team performance and player development.
Notable Quote:
"The way the drill sergeant was in that movie is what it felt like. The structure, the discipline, where everything had to be right."
— Unknown Host [25:34]
Cinco argues that Vrabel's more flexible and player-friendly approach may not instill the same level of discipline and focus that characterized Belichick’s tenure, potentially affecting the Patriots' competitive edge.
Odell Beckham Jr.'s career trajectory is examined, focusing on his multiple team changes and the impact on his performance. The hosts express concerns over his decision to leave the New York Giants, suggesting that staying put could have prolonged his peak performance years.
Notable Quote:
"He was sensational in the regular season, become postseason, not so much."
— Unknown Host [42:11]
Sharpe and Cinco reflect on Beckham's on-field prowess versus off-field distractions, debating whether his frequent team switches have hindered his legacy as one of the top receivers in the league.
