T Sizzle

Mayno
Co host.
T Sizzle
Excuse me, two legendary co hosts. This evening I got the future hall of famer, a dog, T Sizzle. And I got the platinum recording artist out of Brooklyn, New York, my dog, Mayno. What's going on, fellas?
Ryan Seacrest
What's happening, brother?
Mayno
What's happening?
T Sizzle
How we feeling this evening?
Ryan Seacrest
Feeling good, man.
T Sizzle
What's them 4th of July plans looking like we got the 4th tomorrow. What are we doing?
Ryan Seacrest
I mean, I'm going float around a little bit. I've been on set shooting this TV show. Me and Shaq and a couple of people been on there all week. So tomorrow. I think tomorrow's the last day. I'm looking for a plate, bro. Can you.
T Sizzle
Can you tell us about the show that. Hold on.
Ryan Seacrest
What you.
Mayno
What you.
Ryan Seacrest
It's. It's a. It's a mob inspired show. It's a show that's already on. On TV right now, so on. It's on Amazon, I believe, Prime. It's called Graves In. It's already two seasons in. We on the third season, so we've been shooting for it for the last week. This. This whole week right here.
T Sizzle
What's the name of it again?
Ryan Seacrest
Graves In. So it's a mob show. It's about, you know, the Italian mafia back in the 80s. Shaq is a gangster. I'm one of the goons. And, you know, it's just the. The interaction between the white Italian mafia and. And some of the black dudes that was holding it down in that day.
Mayno
Really?
T Sizzle
Oh, yeah.
Ryan Seacrest
His characters. His character is Mustafa.
Mayno
Oh, wow. So how do they shoot that when you standing next to them? You know, Shaq's like the biggest.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Shaq is God size. It's hard.
Mayno
Like as a director, you think like, all right, do they give.
Ryan Seacrest
You gotta shoot wild.
Mayno
Give you, like apple boxes to stand on or something like that? How you gonna.
Ryan Seacrest
Nah, I'm six feet, so I'm all right. I'm. I'm. I'm.
Mayno
Can't nobody stand in a digital shack. Like, I met Shaq. I've never felt so small in my life. Like, I mean, like the Nickelodeon Awards or something. He was like, hosting and he was just the biggest human being. He had to, like, biggest hands.
Ryan Seacrest
Like, biggest hands.
Mayno
I'm just like, I'm not gonna stand next to this dude.
T Sizzle
I'm with my woman.
Mayno
I'm not gonna stand next to this dude. I'm with my woman. Like, to her I'm the biggest man she ever seen. But then here come Shaq, you know what I mean? I mean, Ring, Shaq got four and all them. Then I'm like, nah, man, We. We gotta move around.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, you had to move away from that.
Mayno
Like, that was a. That had more money and more accolades than me.
T Sizzle
Had to move around, man.
Mayno
We.
Ryan Seacrest
We.
T Sizzle
We've seen you appearing and starring shows, movies, skills top, top notch.
Mayno
How is.
T Sizzle
How is Shaq as an actor?
Ryan Seacrest
Well, you got to remember Shaq been doing this for sure. You got to remember Shaq was in movies back in the 90s. Shaq. Shaq has done right. We talking basketball, but he was kind of. We talking rap. Let's not forget he was platinum rap. Yeah, let's not forget he was platinum. Work with Biggie, Nas.
Mayno
Every Shaq album went platinum.
Ryan Seacrest
This is what I'm saying. Back in those days when they was, you know, when Fooshnik and all that was out, that's, like, unheard of. And that was his faded group.
Mayno
That's unheard of for a person who's not really a rapper. And he, like, got into rap, and for him to release albums and all of them go platinum. Like, people don't understand how hard it is to go platinum. Like, if your album sold 500,000, that was.
Ryan Seacrest
Right.
Mayno
A major success. You know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
Right, right, right, right. I mean, listen, he had a love for the culture. He come from the culture, right. You don't have to actually be an artist to come from the culture. You growing up, we come from the same kind of backgrounds. We all play basketball on crates. We all went to school and tried to play ball. And at the same time, we was on our way to school. We was listening to rap music. We was doing the same thing. So, I mean, it's only right. But he's one of the ones that really was able to cover all those bases. And then when we talk about movies, like, I mean, he did many movies.
Mayno
Blue Chips.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah.
Mayno
What else Shaq was in. Cause I just saw him, like, yesterday, I was watching CB4. He, like, cameoed in that.
Ryan Seacrest
And. And it's still. To still be, like, right. To stand the test of time is that we talking. Because a lot of that was, what, early mid-90s?
Mayno
Early mid-90s. Yeah. Yeah. Blue Chip. I want to say it's like 93, because that was with Penny Hardaway. Right?
Ryan Seacrest
This is Orlando.
Mayno
Yeah, this is Orlando, man Steel.
T Sizzle
That's long.
Mayno
He was like. And Freddy got finger, like, you know, remember, they loved Sha, like, In Hollywood, right? Like.
T Sizzle
He'S a mogul.
Mayno
Yeah, right? Yeah.
T Sizzle
All right, mano, let me, let me ask you this. I know you got your New York roots. You know, we all have been in the news and browsing the World Wide Web show. What's your thoughts on the Diddy verdict? What's your thoughts on P. Diddy verdict?
Ryan Seacrest
I think it was. I mean, listen, it was. To me, it was always an overcharged situation. I never felt like it should have been a rico. I never felt like it should have been in the courtroom. Because if you understand what a RICO is, this was never.
Mayno
That RICO was created to catch the mob. Like, come on.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, we talking organized crime. We talking about running a criminal enterprise. All right? Now, he was doing things that, I mean, I probably wouldn't do it. I might have thought I was a freak, but until now I've realized that I'm really right. Okay? But at the end of the day, it wasn't a rico. And then my whole thing is like they created this whole narrative. And then when the child came out, we didn't see none of that. Like, they had this whole thing about diddy parties. What happens to the diddy parties? Because if you look at what, what was going on in the transcripts and what happened in, in the testimony, those freak offs, there were no parties. This was a hotel with a man, his woman, and whatever else they had.
Mayno
Mansion, Right?
Ryan Seacrest
Right. This is closed off. Personal situations had nothing to do with. Remember all this talk about a sex dungeon, Underage kids, rape, sex, all the drugs in the baby oil. I knew the case was. Was flimsy when, when they started to only talk about the baby oil. When the feds is leaking, leaking information to the media and they only talking about the baby. Yo, yo, what we, what we really talking about?
Mayno
No, we ain't talking about. So, like, yeah, when this comes out, you like, yo, this is bad. Like, and you know, all of us being in the black community, we know people like the feds don't come get you unless they know they got a case. We know the Fed don't come. But that wasn't the case here.
Ryan Seacrest
But, but that's not always true. And I tell people that all the time. The Fred. The feds got a. And you've seen it right now in this case right here, where they turn and really kind of make a narrative, right? And really spin it. They known to do this. They do it all the time, right? You get locked up for, for, for one situation, the next thing you know, conspiracy. Because they didn't created a narrative around it, so they. They. They do it. It's just that.
Mayno
They stack it up.
Ryan Seacrest
They create that narrative. They tell you exactly who you are, right? And they drag you in the courtroom and say, this. This is who you are. And I think that now we got a chance to see that. Because this is a situation where it was a domestic violence situation. This is what this really was. I mean, we talking about a super rich guy, super famous guy. Come on, man. Like rico, like, really, like, if. If this was a situation where he was having Cassie have sex with dudes and the dudes was paying him, that's something different. Because then he would be making money from. From. From selling her off. But that's.
Mayno
That's not this or like, you know, rico. Like I said, they created it to catch the mob. They couldn't catch, like, the headline bosses, so they created the rico. Like, if this guy's standing next to you and he collecting money illegally this way, and this guy standing next to you, he collected money that way, and they try to trump all y' all together. You know, it was created to really catch the mob. You know what I'm saying? But, like, when it came out, we was like, I was like, where's the racketeering?
Ryan Seacrest
But where's everything that they had in the media? Where's the sex dungeon? Where's the underage kids? Where's the. All of the. All these tapes where they say, oh, man, all these people. Where's these people that was getting raped and all that?
Mayno
Where's all it was back? Like, we all saw the video and was like, oh, like it's bad. So they see the video and then like, we think it's like, oh, it's only gonna get worse from here, right?
Ryan Seacrest
Because they use that video to get people attached.
Mayno
So it was like, it don't even work. What else is coming out? And then transcripts coming out. And then you start to see the interaction between him and Cass. And I'm like, this kind of sound.
Ryan Seacrest
Like I'm always down for a freak off. I'm always down for a freak off.
Mayno
That's complicit. She was like, like I said, she was with me until she wasn't. And then I was like, right, that's not really Rico or everything else that they had him charged for. Like, we didn't see any evidence of that. And like, if I get into it with my ex girls new dude, that don't make me. That don't give me a racketeering charge. You know what I'm saying, like, I think that's what they were trying to say with the bombing of Kid Cudi's car. Like, oh, that's racketeering. You know what I'm saying? You sent somebody blow up his car. I'm like, yeah, that's, that's the part.
T Sizzle
That'S, that's that I'm getting lost on. Like, like you said, mano, where is all those other.
Mayno
Because you said tc.
Ryan Seacrest
Because that's a tactic that the feds use, right? Is to. So they got the media, right? So they leaked this to the media to control the narrative. So now what happens is they tamper with the jury pool because now in the eyes of the public, he guilty. You can't tell people, you can't tell my daughter, mother that Puff don't deserve to be in jail based off of what is in the media. Not even what's happening in the court. You can't tell the average person that he don't belong under the jail. Because if you looked at what the media was promoting, it was just this super high heinous level of criminality that just made you feel like this dude was just the worst dude in the world. But in the courtroom, it was flimsy as fuck.
Mayno
It was real flimsy. We was all like, well, where's the racketed? They had to drop all that because they didn't present any evidence of anything to describe this, even at the bare minimum, you know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
No, no, no. And this is, and that's why he only got convicted for the, the interstate transportation and prostitutes. Now they saying that you cannot transport prostitutes from across state lines and do transactional business with them. Even though this is all consensual. Even though this is consensual. Now you got, when you talk about complicit. So now you got, you got, you got Puff, you got the woman and then you got the sex worker. Everybody is complicit. So now he's. He, he had a, he had a one man rico, right? When do you ever see those? The reason why he had a one man rico, because he had unindicted co conspiracies. Co conspirators. Who was the co conspirators? The woman and the sex workers. But what did they do? They used them to get him.
Mayno
I mean, like I asked my boys every day, I'm like, dude, if, if ice cream. Trump sells ice cream. You know, he rolls through the hood if I buy ice cream, and I'll be like, hey, I know Some of my boys over here, they love ice cream too. You're selling ice cream? Does that make. That make me a sex trafficker? Because I'm purchasing, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, dude, you're providing a service and I'm buying it. Like, sex trafficking is. I'm making you do this, you know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
Right? And that's the thing, right? So when you got text, like, you know, I'm always down for a freak off and things like that. And you know, and then it's, it's a lot of gray area, right? Coercion. Like, you gotta be forcing somebody. You gotta be like, yo, you better. You gotta do this. Like, when you think of sex work, you think somebody locked up in a dungeon, you think somebody is like, like.
Mayno
Kidnapped you against will. Yeah, that's, that's what I thought. Like, like sex trafficking was, you know what I'm saying? Not like, oh, you know, I'm into some freaky shit. I like seeing my girl getting bused down and I go by a guy called the Hammer or something like that. Now I'm safe trafficking because I got, right, right? Like I said, like after, like when it first, when the indictment first came out, like I said, I, like, I know, we all know that they, they trump your charges to get you complete, basically to scare you. Like, nobody, like, especially a person in his position who, his reputation was at stake, you know, he don't want all this coming out, you know what I'm saying? They were trying to like corner him and then he was like, no, I'm, I'm a fight, you know what I'm saying? Even all this freak off, all this stuff coming out, what's she gonna say? And embarrass him and stuff, like, and he, he stood his ground, you know what I'm saying? But everybody know the Fed is gonna trump your charge. They're gonna charge you more than what actually went on to scare you in there, like that. But like you said, it was this high profile case. They had raids at like, at the same time, bicoastal, you know what I'm saying? LA and Miami and New York. So it's like we, I'm thinking like, all right, they didn't, they didn't, they didn't set up these raids at the same time. So can't nobody alert each other, you know what I'm saying? They come at. So you think like, oh, when they come, they come. Yeah. So I'm thinking like, they got something. And then as the trial go on. It's like all they talking about is the sex. Like, really, it's your kink or not. You know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
Whatever your kink is, whatever you into, you.
Mayno
As long as all parties are screaming.
Ryan Seacrest
Where'S the parties at? Because you gotta understand they didn't change what the narrative on what a diddy party is. To the point where you have regular people seeing you in the street playing with you like, you may know her. You was at a diddy party. You know, I've been to diddy parties.
Mayno
Everybody was trying to go. Like we went. We didn't know anything about the same.
Ryan Seacrest
But none of those, none of, none of the freak off shit had nothing to do with no problem, right?
Mayno
Everybody know, like, like they try to even get, you know, King James for it. King James was like, yeah, you know, you known for having, you know, like. Like Dee's always been on Main Street. Media have like the best parties and stuff.
Ryan Seacrest
100%.
Mayno
He got his own video. He was like, all right, this is the nice party for everybody. But everybody like to leave in about a couple hours. Like, he gave me his warning. Like, if you stay in here, it's gonna get a little while, you know, and so I don't think, like, like everybody was like, oh, he was at a diddy party. He's at a diddy party. Like, no, I never. I was never cool enough to get invited. But did I want to go at one point? Yeah, it was like, how this shit out?
Ryan Seacrest
Like, no, I've been. And my point is, is that I don't know. I've never seen nothing crazy. And I don't know nobody else that did. But. But then when you look at what happened in the court, all of those instances of freak offs had nothing per se, had everything to do with a man in his personal kink, his fetish, his sexual nature, whatever, that's his business.
Mayno
It's crazy. It's an evil world we live in. So either world we live in, yeah, man, Shit's crazy. But hey, do you think he gonna get time served? You're gonna serve some more with.
Ryan Seacrest
See that, See that? See, I thought he. I thought he should have got bail because, you know, because technically the first time offender, this is a person, right? He's the first offender. But the feds is dirty. They like to play this game with what they call unindicted criminal conduct. So when it's time to send a shoot it. Even though you're not convicted of these things, they like to add in things. Something else. You see what the judge said? He said, oh, it was. Even. He got convicted of prostitution. The judge held his belt because of the video with Cassie. Because. Oh, it was, it was violence. And it was the worst violence is the violence behind closed doors.
Mayno
What, like she got paid for that?
Ryan Seacrest
He didn't get convicted of violence. Did he get convicted of violence? No, he didn't get. You see what I'm saying? And then, let's be honest, like, that happened like what, nine, ten years ago.
Mayno
Not to diminish the situation a long time ago.
Ryan Seacrest
But. But it's, and then it's, it's not like he was out here terrorizing these people. So it's like when you start saying, oh, we, we scared for our lives. Was he, he was just home. Was he just out here looking, running down, looking for these people?
T Sizzle
Right?
Mayno
Like, yeah, I, I don't know. Is a very slippery.
Ryan Seacrest
It's all, it's all about the, it's all about spinning the narrative and it's all about playing with the minds of the people, man. Because I realize now it ain't, it ain't always about the truth. It's about the perception.
Mayno
Okay?

I'm going off book. Ta but I've been dying. When I found out we got me, I was like, I already know what question I was gonna ask him. But for a second, yeah, N Jim Jones.
Ryan Seacrest
I knew it.
Mayno
I want to hear. I want to hear the rap. So.
Ryan Seacrest
But this is, this is, this is the genius thing right here that everybody not realizing. The fact that you asking me that. The fact that you right now asking me that question right now. This is what this is all about. It's about algorithm, man. Jim understands the power of. Of algorithm, the power of the Internet, the power of conversation. Come on, man. We know who Nas is. We know what Nas did. We understand the greatness in. Nas is a rap God.
Mayno
Yes, he is a rap God.
Ryan Seacrest
Right? But we. It ain't about that, right? It's about the fact that Jim saying I'm better than Nas right now. He's saying he better than Nas right now. Because why? Because it creates conversation. You just asked me.
Mayno
Yeah, yeah.
Ryan Seacrest
This is what this is about.
Mayno
Yeah. So they say the rap world is like, you know, basketball or competitive sports. Like you. You want to say you're the best. You know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
It ain't. No, it ain't. It ain't nothing wrong with nobody.
Mayno
Ain't nothing wrong with that. Like, you gotta love.
Ryan Seacrest
Ain't nothing wrong with nobody.
Mayno
If you don't feel yourself, especially in your business, if you don't feel yourself like that, like, pause, you know what I'm saying? Like, then it's really you, you. You ain't never gonna have no level. Like you said, such and such is better than you. You know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
So listen, feel how you wanna feel. Don't say you better than whoever. Feel it go. Go up it like you better than the world. Like, that's how you feel. That's how you feel. Wear that. You understand? But, but you could feel that way privately, right? You could feel that way in the studio. You get not going to. I'm in the studio we all want to see. I'm like, man, I gotta kill everybody in here. But when you say it, when you say it to the public, you gotta know what come back with that. And the fact that he already knew what it come with. Yeah, like, you know, but it don't matter because it' the, the. The. It's about the conversation that creates the, the. The algorithm that creates this energy that every time you turn around now, he vibes.
Mayno
So like I will say this so like, like, I didn't even know like, before Jim Jones came out with Ballin', I just thought he was part of the, the Dipset crew, you know, I didn't really think like, like Jim Jones was a rapper. And don't, don't get me. Remember that run Jim Jones had when he had ball in. And what, what else am I, am I thinking of? He did, he did a Diddy joint, the Sherry did. Like, like Jim Jones, he, he does have like, hits, you know what I'm saying? Like, he party too. But like, guys, he was in that transition era before hip hop really became mainstream. And when you really had to spit, like, you really had to have talent, you know what I'm saying? And came out like, lyrically and like, I didn't appreciate this until I was older because I was a Tupac fan, you know what I'm saying? When you 13 or 12, you really impressionable, you know what I'm saying? Like, Tupac told me, don't listen to Nas and all these other rappers. So I'm like, no, I ain't listening to them. You know what I'm saying? And then I like, got into a debate and I was like, nas? And then everybody clowned me. I was like, maybe I need to go back and go listen to this dude. And then like, he was just like, like, Nas, Nas.
Ryan Seacrest
Nas is a rap guy. One of the, one of the greatest of all times.
Mayno
Like, Nas is a rapper.
Ryan Seacrest
Definitely one of my favorite.
Mayno
Not only that, like, he, he, he was like, he's like part of those brand. Like, he's street but he's also very intuitive, like Rob. I mean, excuse me, Nas is very intelligent, you know, like Karen S1 was and public Enemy, like Nas started bringing it to me and I was just like, Nas is very intelligent, you know what I'm saying? One of those rappers that can get you to think, you know what I'm saying, and get you to feel and be happy to be black. Yeah, he started out Queens, big projects where I'm at now, you know what I'm saying? Like Nas one of them rappers, you know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
No, and, and, and not only that, like, I mean, we gotta, we gotta really also not just talk about, you know, what he did, the rap game, but just on the business side, like the things that he doing. Like. So, I mean, listen, man, I'm cool with Nas. Jim is my brother, you know, I, I had the opportunity to work with Nas, perform with Nas, like, you know what I mean? So it's, it's, we talking about legendary, man. Every, every, you know, everybody bought something to the game, right? That, that, that somebody could leave, you understand? So when Nas did and what he's still doing on the business side is, is definitely admirable. So, you know, I, it ain't. You can't take nothing from.
Mayno
You can't take nothing from neither one of them. Like I said, I wanna discredit like Jimmy, you know what I'm saying? Like Jim Jones. Like, I think I, I love Jim Jones, you know. And like we all had, we've all been to a party and one of his songs had come on. It like turned us up. Like, all right, I was waiting to hear this, like, now, now I can get there, you know what I'm saying? So I didn't want to discredit Jimmy. I just didn't like that the conversation started from like, you know, exactly what he doing. 18 or 19 year old conversation in.
T Sizzle
The spirit of competition.
Ryan Seacrest
But that isn't, that is a perspective though, right? Right. So that is a, that is a perspective for some. See, the thing about this is this, everything is from your own point of view, from. And a lot of things is from whatever your social circle is. So you had a 19 year old that said that he didn't. He wasn't tapping with Nas. Maybe that was just that 19 year old because maybe that's what his social circle was and he was more tapped in with Capo. So, you know, everything you got to take with a grain of salt, man, and everything is relative, you understand? So, you know, like I said though, this is really not about the com. This is really just about the conversation. It ain't about us really picking one up over the other. This is not what this is about.
T Sizzle
Know exactly what spirit of competition, man. We all feel like we the we the best and I respect it for sure.

Hey, so we all make mistakes, but owning up is the right thing to do. You know a Degree Cool Rush deodorant? Well last year they changed the formula and it did not go well with their fans.
Degree Ad
Degree's whole thing is it turns up the sweat and odor protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the original formula. One guy even started an online Petition and degree Listen.

They admitted they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. It's back in Walmart, Target and other stores now for under $4.

T Sizzle
Let's go to a younger artist, DDG recording artists and a big name streamer. Apple Music just got called out by DDG after his name started showing up when users typed the poop emoji. How would you guys feel about that? How do you guys feel about that with Apple? And is all publicity, good publicity?
Ryan Seacrest
No, I don't. I think you gotta learn. I think it can be if you learn how to flip it. But certain things you just don't want on.
T Sizzle
On your name.
Ryan Seacrest
Now I don't know if that's that serious.
Mayno
That's crazy.
Ryan Seacrest
So Apple Music did that? Why would they do that?
T Sizzle
I don't know. But DDG called him out. At any time the users was typing the poop emoji, his name was popping up, his name started to show up. That is, I don't know about the.
Ryan Seacrest
Algorithm but I mean you could probably flip that though, you understand? So that I wouldn't say is super duper negative because act actually it kind of puts you in a. The. In the algorithm. And he kind of got that way with the streaming anyway. So you could probably flip that into an, into a positive. It's all about what you do with it. But certain things I feel like I don't even. I wouldn't even want on me. Yeah, that pause like I wouldn't even want on my name. I wouldn't want it associated with me.
Mayno
Exactly. So what, what happened? What did he say happened?
T Sizzle
He said his name popping up. When somebody I guess in the search engine would type the poop emoji, his name DDG would pop up and it's like a, like a running joke. Doodle gang or doodle or whatever. But.
Ryan Seacrest
Right, right, right, right, right.
T Sizzle
So he caught about it like to, to fix that algorithm.
Mayno
So Apple did they fix it from the.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, they said Apple did that.
T Sizzle
Apple Music.
Ryan Seacrest
No Apple Music or just so you go to Apple Music, you type. You type in a the Poop emoji and dd.
Mayno
That's what I was gonna say. So, like, if I Google a poop emoji and a whole bunch of DDG will come up.
T Sizzle
What I have right here in front of me said Apple Music.
Mayno
What do you think they try sabotage them or something? I don't like. What's the downside to that?
T Sizzle
Is people have been trolling, saying, DDG stands for doo doo garbage.
Mayno
Oh, right, right. He's like, into it with somebody. Right, Right.
T Sizzle
It's still up on Apple Music right now.
Mayno
Like, if you.
T Sizzle
If you type that in, it's. And he called him like, hey, y' all need to fix his algorithm. Like, my name is not synonymous with the poop emoji.
Mayno
Damn. What does it stand for?
T Sizzle
It's a lot of publicity. I really don't know what DDG stand for.
Mayno
We gotta. We gotta fact check that.
T Sizzle
It's a lot of. It's a lot of.
Ryan Seacrest
Oh, I just put it in. It's a fact.
Mayno
It's a fact.
Ryan Seacrest
Damn. Damn, damn. They did my dog. Damn.
T Sizzle
No Apple Music. I gotta fix that.
Ryan Seacrest
All you gotta do is type in. Can I curse?
Mayno
Yeah.
Ryan Seacrest
Okay. All you got to do is type in that. That's on. On your emojis. That's a. Right.
Mayno
That's a.
Ryan Seacrest
It's doodoo. Yeah, it's poop. Right. And you click on it in the search engine and his name is the first name that comes.
Mayno
For drop what.
T Sizzle
Garbage they saying and do garbage.
Ryan Seacrest
That's what the people that been trolling him saying that it stands for. Right. His name don't stand for that, but they've been playing with him saying stands for doodle garbage. But this is dead wrong right here.
T Sizzle
It's standing. Stands for Darrell Dwayne Granberry Daryl.
Ryan Seacrest
Okay.
T Sizzle
Yeah, his name. Yep. So it's his initials. Yeah. I don't want nobody playing on my name like that, man. Apple fixed that. Apple Music. Get him. Get him.
Mayno
Right.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, this is. This is real deal here. This definitely.
Mayno
Oh, wow.
T Sizzle
So back to the point. Like, all publicity isn't good publicity.
Ryan Seacrest
I mean, I don't think that that's.
Mayno
Too.
Ryan Seacrest
Crazy where it's like his name.
Mayno
Something that you can't found.
T Sizzle
And you know, he probably got a spike in. In searches or strains.
Ryan Seacrest
This is what I'm saying. Like that you can flip that.
Mayno
I would think that would like, result into him getting his checks. I think that's how he. He gets his brand is. Is who.
Ryan Seacrest
You can flip that. That could be flipped that. That could. That you can be. You can use that. That ain't something like they saying somebody touched on somebody. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that type of. Yeah, yeah, certain. You don't want to be accused of. You don't even want it associated with your name.
Mayno
Yeah, but who's the person he into into it with another streamer?
Ryan Seacrest
No, it's just random fans trolling.
T Sizzle
Fans trolling.
Ryan Seacrest
He.
T Sizzle
He's in the news quite a bit. He having some back and forth. I know him and his. His son's mother.
Ryan Seacrest
No, they beat. They beat the brakes off a. Recently for calling him that in public. I like that. That was pretty impressive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that. Yeah, yeah, they did. Yeah, they did what was necessary when the nigga is playing with you in public.
Mayno
Yeah. So, yeah, he in the new. Like, I think into it, but like another streamer or something like that. I don't know. Don't quote me, but I think they. They getting into it war. The words, like, they going back and forth online. You know what I'm saying? I really don't get that. Like, you know, I. I grew up around gangsters. Like, when a gangster had a problem with you, he wasn't gonna tell you on Twitter.
Ryan Seacrest
But that. That. Them days is over with, though, man. So listen, it is what it is. You're gonna have war words on the Internet.
Mayno
That's why I really don't.
Ryan Seacrest
It.
Mayno
I'm like, I don't. I don't play them games like I grew up.
Ryan Seacrest
So what.
Mayno
What.
Ryan Seacrest
What. What happened if somebody that. That knew you from your hometown, right, that made a hat. Y' all might have had some friction in the past, and he started him on the YouTube page, and he just starts talking crazy about you every other day.
Mayno
I probably know somebody that he know. Like, one people, I'll be like, hey, tell your boy, like, when I see him, we. We gonna have. We're gonna have a discussion. You know what I'm saying?
Ryan Seacrest
No, he don't. He don't come out.
Mayno
I don't.
Ryan Seacrest
No, it ain't that easy. If it was that easy, these wouldn't be talking. Let me just tell you something. You got. You got a whole, like, section of YouTube for guys that just, you know, that they. They monetize their pages. And the way that they. They attract the viewership is to talk crazy about artists, rappers, or whatever.
Mayno
They talk crazy.
Ryan Seacrest
So this. I mean, yeah, but they. But they. They not doing it just for clout, though. They doing it to monitor for money. Because if they. If. If their page is monetized, right? And, and, and, and, and they saying the most outlandish, right? And it's like, it's, it's like clickbait for people to click on it. They making money, right? So they don't. And they, and they don't care about.
Mayno
See, like, my, my thing is.
Ryan Seacrest
Because they ain't coming out.
Mayno
Exactly. Like, my thing is like, you never underestimate a dude from another hood because there's another you in that hood. You know what I'm saying? Like, like what happened when you run into a nick that's really about that. You may think this is all about streams and it's all cute. I'm getting clicked. And then you get confronted by that person or somebody that love that person, that's close to that person. Like that, that's really with that. Like, I don't believe in like, bringing extra like, heat on yourself, so to say. Like, like to start beef for like, flakes. Like, like what it's saying is not all money is good money.
Ryan Seacrest
Like, yeah, yeah, but, yeah, but this is for you. So you got, you gotta remember some of these guys ain't got no outlets. They don't have no other opportunities. And now the Internet then provided them a way to, to be able to make a few tools and fuse. So what do they do? They do it for the views, right? They motivated by the views because the views bring them what, monetization. So they don't care. It ain't personal. We don't fuck you, mano. Suck my fuck. Fuck you, Mr. Suggs. Whatever, whatever. Like, I don't care. Like, whatever.
Mayno
At what cost?
Ryan Seacrest
What cost if no cost? Because guess what? If you're not a person that's in traffic coming out doing the things that people do that get money and like to party, have fun, then. Then you, then you're not in traffic, you making your money and you staying home, you in your basement, you're in your girl crib, you're in your wife house, you're in your backyard, whatever you at. You at not in traffic though.
Mayno
It's all funny games they put. So, okay, I'm like, we know it is. Like, we know your story when you in like Rikers Island. Like, yeah, with me. Like, yeah, I know your story. And you don't like things in life, you know what I'm saying? You get all kind of unlimited money, you know what I'm saying? Clean money, you know what I'm saying? Why for clickbait is it worth it to me to like, get you Back into your old self.
Ryan Seacrest
Because it ain't even, ain't even personal to me. It's whoever, whether it's me, Fat Joe, or this one or that one, whether it's you, it don't even matter. It's because it's all for the sake of so called being a blogger or a media person and just saying. But if you look at, if you look at the way media is right now, it's more blog driven, it's more gossip driven, right? So it's like back in the days we had the National Enquirer. That was like where all the gossip shit was at, right? And then you had the real news. Now everything is gossip more like, you know, it's the, it's about who's with who and who's doing well. Who says something to who. Was he talking to him? Was he talking to her? Like, it's all gossip driven. And this is where it comes from. This is the age that we living in.
Mayno
I hear what you're saying, I hear what you're saying. I just think it's buffoonery.
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, absolutely buffoonery. But we gotta know how to, we gotta know what it is so we know how to deal.
Mayno
I'm just, I'm like, no, you gotta understand, like, I grew up with real, straight up gangster. If they're gonna do something to you, trust me, they're not gonna have no evidence that somebody come used in court. Like, yo, we've seen y' all going back and forth right here. You told him you was gonna do such, such to him when you saw, you know what I'm saying? Like, like that rapper that. It was a rapper that got killed in LA at the Beverly center, you know what I'm saying? A dollar. But like, the dude who, who killed him, like, end up getting off because it was like, it was like documented. Dude said like, yo, when I see you, I'm gonna kill you. You know what I'm saying? It was like, yeah, that's how dude got off. Because they was like in self defense, you know what I'm saying? And like, I just thought that was crazy. I'm like, dog, why, why if you're gonna do that, so why would you, like, put it out there, you know?
Ryan Seacrest
Yeah, that question is like, for somebody that, that, that understands. So you might come from a different background in an element that you understand, like, this ain' about it. But right now, in the age that we're living in, that whole thought pattern is thrown out because we had a place where somebody do something they almost want you to know that they did it.
Mayno
Wow.
Ryan Seacrest
They want the clout. Everything is for social media. Everything. Everything is for social media.
Mayno
Oh my God. Like I just can't get with it. I just can't feel with it.

Club Shay Shay Episode Summary: Nightcap - Hour 1: Diddy Verdict Reaction + DDG 💩 Gate
Release Date: July 4, 2025
Host: iHeartPodcasts and Shay Shay Media
In this engaging episode of Club Shay Shay, host Shannon Sharpe delves into two hot-button topics that have been making waves in the entertainment and music industries: the recent verdict in Diddy's legal case and the controversy surrounding DDG's association with the poop emoji on Apple Music. Joined by co-hosts Mayno and T Sizzle, Shannon offers insightful commentary, sharp critiques, and candid conversations that resonate with listeners keen on understanding the intricacies behind these headlines.
The episode kicks off with a discussion about Ryan Seacrest's latest venture into television. Shannon, Mayno, and T Sizzle explore "Graves In," a mob-inspired series streaming on Amazon Prime, where Seacrest stars alongside NFL legend Shaquille O'Neal.
Shannon Sharpe introduces the show:
"[03:22] It's a mob show about the Italian mafia in the '80s, with Shaq as a gangster and Ryan as one of the goons."
Mayno expresses curiosity about the dynamics on set:
"[04:05] How do they shoot scenes with Shaq's imposing presence?"
Shannon shares behind-the-scenes insights:
"[05:28] Shaq's character, Mustafa, brings an authentic edge to the show, balancing his larger-than-life persona with nuanced interactions."
The trio praises Shaq's versatility, highlighting his successful transitions from sports to acting and even rap, noting his platinum rap albums and memorable movie appearances like "Blue Chips" and "CB4."
Transitioning to more serious topics, Shannon and his co-hosts dissect the recent legal verdict against hip-hop mogul Diddy. The discussion centers on the use of RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) charges and the perceived manipulation of legal narratives by federal authorities.
Shannon Sharpe critiques the RICO charges:
"[08:12] I think it was always an overcharged situation. It shouldn't have been a RICO case because RICO was created to catch organized crime, not personal misconduct."
Mayno underscores the inappropriateness of the charges:
"[10:05] This wasn't about racketeering; it was a domestic situation. The narrative spun by the feds didn't align with the actual evidence presented."
Shannon emphasizes the media's role in shaping public perception:
"[09:43] They create a narrative, spin it, and manipulate the jury pool by portraying someone as the worst in the world, regardless of the courtroom facts."
The conversation highlights a shared skepticism about the federal legal tactics used in high-profile cases, arguing that the charges and media portrayal often misrepresent the truth to secure convictions.
The episode shifts focus to a lighter yet controversial topic involving DDG, a prominent recording artist and streamer. The co-hosts discuss how DDG's name began appearing alongside the poop emoji in Apple Music searches, sparking both trolling and widespread criticism.
T Sizzle introduces the issue:
"[32:50] Apple Music started showing DDG's name when users typed the poop emoji, leading to confusion and negative associations."
Shannon Sharpe contemplates the impact of algorithms:
"[33:12] It can be flipped into something positive, but certain associations, like with a poop emoji, aren't desirable."
Mayno expresses frustration over the misrepresentation:
"[35:42] DDG's real name is Darrell Dwayne Granberry Daryl, and it's disheartening to see it misconstrued as something derogatory."
Shannon discusses the broader implications of social media dynamics:
"[41:26] Everything is for social media now. It's about clout, and people exploit algorithms for views, not necessarily personal vendettas."
The trio debates whether such algorithmic errors are merely public relations nuisances or if they have deeper implications for an artist's reputation and brand. They emphasize the importance of handling such situations strategically to mitigate negative fallout and possibly turn the spotlight into a positive narrative.
Throughout their discussions, Shannon, Mayno, and T Sizzle weave in broader themes about social media's influence on public perception and the blurring lines between reality and fabricated narratives.
Mayno reflects on the authenticity of real-life confrontations versus online feuds:
"[39:20] Real conflicts aren't aired on social media; they're handled privately. The digital age has changed how grievances are expressed."
Shannon Sharpe expands on the psychological impact:
"[43:13] Understanding that narratives are manipulated helps us navigate and respond appropriately without letting false perceptions dictate our responses."
Their conversation underscores the necessity of critical thinking and discernment in an age where information—and misinformation—spreads rapidly, shaping public opinion and individual reputations.
In this episode, Club Shay Shay delivers a compelling blend of entertainment industry insights and critical social commentary. Shannon Sharpe and his co-hosts provide listeners with a nuanced understanding of both high-profile legal cases and the intricate workings of social media algorithms. By integrating notable quotes and timestamped discussions, the episode offers a comprehensive overview that is both informative and engaging, catering to audiences who seek depth beyond surface-level news.
Note: Advertisements and promotional segments from Meta AI, DJ Wells, Chumba Casino, Greenlight, and Degree were present in the original transcript but have been omitted from this summary to focus solely on the core content discussed by the hosts.
