Embiid has publicly and privately said in recent weeks that he might eventually need surgery or an extended rest period for his knee to heal. Next thing you know, I missed a whole season. As I got older, my body couldn't recover. I remember, hey, we complain when you. Young Ocho, your first two, three years. Hey, play Sunday, play Thursday. Good. Hey, you want me to play another? We need to play another game on Monday night. Let's rock and roll. Then all of a sudden, I got to get in the cold tub before practice. Got to get in the cold tub again after practice, come in early in the morning, get in the cold tub. It's just. He's played just 39 games. He played 39 games last season after tearing the meniscus in his knee. This season, the lingering knee issues combined with a foot sprain, have caused him to play just 19 of 56 games. Because what happens, Ocho, if you get a flat tire and you continuously drive that car on that flat tire, it just don't mess up the rim and the rotor on that side, It F's up your alignment because you're trying to compensate every. The body is meant to work in unison, in sequence, just like your body. You start having knee issues. Before long, you're going to have hip problems, you're going to have back problems, you're going to have feet. Foot problems. That's just the way it is.
