The Knicks stay alive in the race for the number two seed in the east by beating the Celtics 112 to 106. Jason Tatum returned to Madison Square Garden where last year during the playoffs he tore his Achilles. Josh Hart scored 15 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, hit two dagger three point shots to give the Boston a six point win. Jalen Brunson 25 points, 10 assists JT Jason Tatum finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. The Knicks pull within two games of the Celtics with two games to play for both teams. The Knicks on the tiebreaker because they beat the Celtics head to head three to one and it'd be the number two seeds with two wins and two Boston losses. So Boston wins one game. They got they host New Orleans on Friday and Orlando on Sunday. So if they win one of these final two games, they are the number two seed. The Knicks I believe will be the number three seed if they win out. The Knicks host Toronto on Friday and close out against Charlotte on Sunday. Joe, watching this game, look, the Knicks were ahead comfortably. They were headed by 12 points at one point in time. And the next thing you know, Boston ended up having a six point lead. Charming got hot from three. JT Hit a couple of threes. Pritchard hit a couple of threes. But Joe, what did you like about what you saw from the Knicks having the lead, giving up the lead, and then finding a way to win this?

And I think for the Knicks sake, their sake, with JB not playing, they really needed this game. And Josh Hart stepped up. If I'm not mistaken, the last game he played, he only had, what, two, maybe three points. Yeah. Or something like that. For the fact that he was able to step up and hit those big shots when they needed it most. And I think that the Celtics did a good job getting the ball out of Brunson's hands. And like Unc said, if other players, the sporting cast for the Knicks is gonna hit those shots, you just gonna have to be able to live.

Hey, but when y'. All, when you look at it, Uncle Ocho, Boston didn't really shoot the ball great outside of. Outside of. What's his name? Scheidenheimer coming. Simon coming off the bench. You know, he was ultra.

Yeah. So, you know, not. It ain't gonna be many games that Josh Hart gonna lead them Knicks in scoring. Matter of fact, this might be the only game he didn't done it all season. If we just keep it 100, you know what I mean? So, yeah, Boston. Boston is in a good spot, man. In a good spot.

Man, I think when you look at the bench points they got. They got 53 points from the bench. Yeah. You look at Charman, he had 20. He's seven of eight from the floor, six or seven from three. You look at Pritchard, 10 of 20 from the floor, three or eight from three. Vucevich, four or seven from the floor, two or four from three. I think they're gonna need a little bit more from Derrick White the last couple of games. Joe, he's kind of been hit or miss when he's in double figures, because you know what JB and JT gonna give you on a daily basis. You know, Pritchard, what he's gonna give you he's averaging 16 point, basically 17 points a game. Whether he's in the starting lineup or he's coming off the bench. So I, I'm penciling in him somewhere between 15 and 20 points. That's what I'm penciling for. If he gives me more than that, I love it. I'm not counting on him giving me less than 15, but if he gives me more than 20, I'll graciously accept it. But somewhere in that 15 to 20 ballpark, I, that's normally what he does. Now my big guns, I'm gonna need those guys to go up on a, a consistent basis, one or the other. I love to have both of them do it. Yeah, but Howser didn't shoot the ball well tonight. Like you said, I'm not counting on shot, but he can let it go. Now I don't know how many games you watched him, but that left handed joker can let the ball go.

And I'm like, man, listen, if he can get him some consistency like this, I ain't saying he gonna go 6 for 7 from the field and be that efficient. But man, if, if you can be a reliable guy, we can go to when JB or JT getting double team, you know, down the stretch or just throughout the game, I think he can definitely be beneficial for the Celtics.

Yeah, he, but that's the thing. Their bench is outstanding because normally you'll probably, I mean House or somebody's going to be coming off the bench. You know, Pritchard is coming off the bench. You know, Shireman's coming off the bench and you know both of these guys can get on heaters. Preacher can do it all. Preacher drive the ball. He got a nice minute. Hey, he'll put the shoulder into your bump. He can snatch, he can shoot the three ball. He's, he's great in all aspects. Shire is looking to shoot three ball. How's is looking to shoot the three ball. Although House, we saw how the Other night, he put the ball on the floor and got to the city. He was letting it go. But when those big two. I believe if everybody plays their best basketball in the Eastern Conference, if everybody plays to their capabilities, I don't believe a team can beat the Boston Celtics. That's just me, Joe. You might think Detroit can do it. You might think the Knick can do it. You think the Cavaliers. Now, I don't think there are no unbeatables in the Eastern Conference. I don't think.

When you look at what they have, they got Pritchard, they got Charming, and they got other guys. I think they have the best bench. And those two proven guys, JB and JT are the most proven come playoff time based on what they've done. Getting to an NBA Finals and winning an NBA Finals.

And so Clyde Drexler, so Jordan could take somewhat of a break on defense. Kobe, who did he have? He had Baw, he had Rick Fox, he had Meta LeBron, he had Shane Bier, or he had original Jefferson or he had Junior. So when you, when you have someone that's like, okay, they got defenders over there now, there have been times that look, he just had to deal with kd. He had to deal. He had, at some point in time in the fourth quarter, he got a deal with KD or Some point in time in the fourth quarter, he got to deal with Kawhi. You'll see JB try to deal. Try to slow down Mitch, and vice versa to keep them giving them different looks. Hey, guess what? We're traveling. We'll blish it. We want to get the ball out. I'm gonna see how this thing shakes out when it's all said and done, because we. We kind of know, like the top four. I think this year I would have a little bit more confidence had Von Carroll played a little bit better and they had Wagner then throughout the entirety of the season. But they haven't. They kind of been up and down all year long. Toronto's kind of been the same. Toronto's going on a stretch where they've won six, seven games in a row, and then all of a sudden they fall by the wayside. But they still got bi. They got Scotty Barnes. Like me. I don't really, I look at other NFL players, but no, my game is special. Like, you see me on the field making these plays, you know, I had 65 tackles from a head up nose position.
