Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's a phenomenal first date. That's a great question too. But you have to understand the type of woman you're dealing with for a first date. You want to you want to make sure she you've asked her questions on what she likes to do and if she likes sports. If she likes sports, a sporting event is a great way to break the ice hockey game. Nascar I'm not sure if you ever been to a NASCAR race you set up that is. Oh my goodness. Now obviously Football is cool, but I'm just saying things that are fast paced, where you can, you can read conversation.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And actually, when you watch it.
Alec Baldwin
Go to, you know, I want to probably go to one, go to Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte, Andy, one of those big super tracks where you just booking it. You got two miles, you got two and a half. I mean, you got a two mile oval, two and a half mile.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Exciting.
Alec Baldwin
That's me.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Very. I don't know if anybody in the chat has never been in nascar. If you haven't, even if you don't like nascar, the experience is different when you're actually there sitting in the stands, you will enjoy it.
Alec Baldwin
Willie said the streets need go. JAMES ON Club SH Interview. Oo when we hitting first watch?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, boy, if he remind me, boy, I'm gonna be a first watch tomorrow morning, boy, after I hit the gym. So. Right there in Pine, right there in Pines, in the plaza with Walmart.
Alec Baldwin
Every time Cardi B was spotted out with Stephan Diggs on Valentine's Day, it was remembered that Cardi B had an affair with Diggs while she was pregnant with offset child. Oh, Lord.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, Steph. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Boys like, boys, like, I'm trying to think. I, I, how far along was your joke? She couldn't show it. That, that, that could, that could be, that could be false. That could be, you know, a rumor of some sort. But yeah, young, young boy be doing his thing, bro, you know, But I.
Alec Baldwin
But hold on, hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's just say, for the sake of argument, I get it. You know, you married. That's your girl. You know, y'all, y'all do what y'all do. I don't know about hitting somebody else, girl.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Ocho, hey. Oh, no. Yeah. I don't think that was true. I think that might have been fabricated. I think that might have been fabricated and it might have been fabricated. Yeah, listen, I, I, I tell y'all, I tell y'all, somebody, somebody.
Alec Baldwin
She was seven, eight months. I got dirt.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, when you, when you've been around long enough, you hear me? When you've been around long enough, you have great experience in this area. I have great experience in this area. And it's a lot more peaceful when you're number two as opposed to number one, when you know how things go.
Alec Baldwin
Cardi outing with Diggs is for the second time. They've been seen out in public in less than a week. Before that, Cardi tried to downplay the rumors about Diggs doing an Instagram live. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, her husband of seven years, last August, right before giving birth to their third child.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Where there's smoke, there's fire. You know that, right? You ain't hear me, huh? When there's smoke, there's fire. See, her new dude really ain't her new dude. You just never knew. You're not. You know. You're not hearing me. Her new dude ain't her new dude. You just never knew. Always. It's always smoke. When there's smoke, there's fire all the time. All you have to do is, well.
Alec Baldwin
Offset, offset, if I'm not mistaken. I think he tweeted something about, you know, you sleeping with somebody else.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, if the tweet goes out, there's. Where there's smoke, there's fire. So there you go. There you go. Oh, the plan B is always there. It's always there. She might not cheat on you, but she know who got next. Come on, now. We've been doing this a long time. We do not live in delusion. We live in reality based on experience.
Alec Baldwin
Just swim down in the chair. Listen.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What? Yeah. Steph. Steph. Hey, Steph. Steph. One of them was. Now, he won't play with you. You slipping. You slip up if you want to.
Alec Baldwin
Oh, man.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Alec Baldwin
I'm sitting from the crib, man. You can't do no Jordan boy like that.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You mess around, playing around with your girl and they. Steph. Future Trey songs before he got in trouble, you know? You know, with a little incident. Trey Drake. Hold on. Let me. Let me go.
Alec Baldwin
If. If you got. If you got that paper that can put them on the private planes and.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Bring them to you, you know, you and your girl going through it and you know somebody, you know, she, you know, you know, fine. Oh, yeah. All right. Oh. Oh. She unhappy. All right.
Alec Baldwin
I don't want no kind of problem. I don't want no kind of problem. Yep.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It's a dirty game, man.
Alec Baldwin
Offset out here, tweeting somebody. I had you last week, by the way, my newbie batter.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, oh. They go. Oh, they going at it. It's. Oh, hey, Petty. Petty.
Alec Baldwin
Oh, yo, let that go.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh.
Alec Baldwin
Oh. Hey, listen.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
The game is the game, huh? You just under. You got to keep it. What they call it? You got to keep it, Pete. Huh? I don't know what that mean, but I. It sound right in this situation. You got to keep it, Pete. Yeah, sometimes you get them.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Sometimes you get God. But you live to play another day. You got to remember, huh? She's not yours. It's just your turn. Stay with me now. She's not yours. It's just your turn.
Alec Baldwin
Damn, damn, damn.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, you've been around long enough, you hear me? I've been number two. Yeah, I've been number two long enough to know all the tricks and the games and the trade and. Come on now, in my 20s and my 30s, I'm almost 50. Why you think I'm trying to wave my white flag, man? I don't want. I don't want to play. I don't want to play no hole. You can, you can, you can have. Y'all got. Y'all can have that. I don't want to play.
Alec Baldwin
Well, my dog Ocho coming in out the rain, man, it's time for me.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
To put the old galosh, man, I'm hanging it up. Well, it's a dirty game.
Alec Baldwin
Drake and DeRozan's relationship soured after later period on stage at Kendrick Lamar's the Pop out concert and dance to scathing date diss track. Not like us. DeRozan also appeared in the official video of the song that came out the next month. Remember when demar told me on Club Shay Shay, no matter what, when it comes to him, he'll forever have a friend and me and loyalty out of me, because he cared. He was one. He was there for me when everything was kind of going crazy. I mean, that's what Demar derose told me on Club jj. Now, if it's a lie, he told it, but that's what he said.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, demar, in Toronto, obviously he had a relationship with Drake. I don't know the extent of that relationship. When demar was there.
Alec Baldwin
It was very good.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It was very good, but. And then you think about DeMar DeRozan's background being from LA.
Alec Baldwin
From Compton.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Compton, where Kendrick Lamar is from. I understand the whole loyalty aspect of things. You know, off the court, when you're not in Toronto, you are from Compton. I do understand Drake's side of it. Well, hold on. You. Oh, you my homie, man. Yeah, Human dog. You shouldn't really have no horse in this race. You understand this song that's about me. I know that's where you from, but I thought we was cool. You ain't got to be in the video at all. You ain't got to be walking and, you know, throwing up the. You ain't got to be doing all that, you know, so, okay, that's what we own. That's the type of time we own all Drake. But say Drake Took notes, then jotted everybody number down. Not number. Jotted everybody name down. That jumped on that bandwagon. The opportunity.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, he did.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
When he was at war. To take their personal shots as well. Okay, it's on. Bet. Bet. That's what it is. It was 99 against one of. It was 99 against one. And there's only one way Drake could win, and that's in the booth. Continue making great music like you've all been.
Alec Baldwin
That's it. I ain't coming on no diss tracks. I'm just gonna make this. I'm just gonna make this stuff that's gonna sell the screaming and people doing.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What he does best. An album for the ladies.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
An album for the women. Oh, he. Listen, two things can be true. You can lose a battle and still be sitting right on top. You can lose a battle. Don't mean you lost the war. There's a difference. He lost the battle.
Alec Baldwin
He didn't lose. He should have just been like, J. Cole. J. Cole.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He got up out of there quick.
Alec Baldwin
Now y'all go ahead and have it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
J. Cole say, I don't want no part of that. Understand? Understandable.
Alec Baldwin
What or what? Didn't make a whole lot of sense. Still doesn't. I mean, look, this. The song had a catchy phrase, and, I mean, it had a catchy hook.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Alec Baldwin
It is what it is. But you, Drake, bro, you got a big old jumbo jet. Got a $55 million crib in. In Toronto. Got a big crib in LA. Got a crib in Houston. Probably got crib in on five continents, Man. I'd have let that. I'd have let that ride so quick. But it's tough for you.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I get it. Honestly, Dravy and Kendrick need to be thanking me. They do. For what? I chose to play football.
Alec Baldwin
You chose the right thing. You'd have been broken here.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Boy, you ain't never listen.
Alec Baldwin
You.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I just told you. I just explained to you who I was in junior high, but I was a lover boy. You hear me? I was a lyricist. I was like Nas. I was like Nas back then in junior high. You want me to.
Alec Baldwin
You want me to wrap real quick the lyrics? I mean, you know, you talk about Nas, you talk about Big Daddy Kane, you talk about KRS1.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I used to rap like Big L in junior high. My teacher used to call me outside and have me rap for the principal. That's how good I was. Yeah, man, I tell you no lie. I tell you no lie. I have so many gifts. I really haven't really, really been able to expound on because I just been. I. I just been on the go. On the go.
Alec Baldwin
Good thing you. You saved the world from having to hear that. And. And we. We're very thankful for that. We're very thankful for that. We. We greatly appreciate it. Ooh, you look at Raim.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Different.
Alec Baldwin
You know, when you talk about lyrics, I mean, I grew up.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I grew up.
Alec Baldwin
Yes. Nasty work, Big Daddy Kane.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, hold on real quick, Chad. Y'all want me to. Y'all chat. Y'all want me to give you a quick 16 real quick? Like y'all don't understand. I come right off the top of the head, too. Like, I'm special. I'm like Lil Wayne. I'm like Jay Z, I and G. I ain't writing nothing down, man.
Alec Baldwin
I know your grades would indicate that.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, I had. Hold on now. In high school, in junior high, boy, I had all. I had five. Oh, five stars and satisfactories. What you talking about?
Alec Baldwin
I know. Think about that. You getting. Say, you getting starved in junior high.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, I was in the bungalow in the back.
Alec Baldwin
I know. Using the trailers. I know. Yeah, I know. I know. Exactly.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, damn. I curse.
Alec Baldwin
Same class the whole day.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay.
Alec Baldwin
Call room here, spelling here, math here.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I tell you, no laugh.
Alec Baldwin
That joke was in the same classroom the whole day.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
When it was time to go to lunch, we had the whole hand.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, I don't. Man, you need help with your bad. You. You really need help.

Trevon Edwards
What's up everybody? I'm Trevon Edwards, co host of the new podcast Got e Greatest of Their Era with Seth Curry. You don't wanna miss our first episode that's out now. We went live from All Star Weekend and had special guest appearance by Steph Curry himself. Steph talked about what separates the truly elite NBA shooters.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
When you have a scouting report and you're on the list as not just a shooter, but we have specific rules for how we guard you. There's a fear factor that's associated with anytime you're wide open. Like, you might as well just count that and get back on defense.
Trevon Edwards
And we ranked our top five shooters from the 2000s.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Peja 5 Dirk 4 Peja is elite. I'm mad him. I left him off my list, but I still like my list.
Trevon Edwards
You won't believe who Steph left off his list.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's so tough. That's why we tap these conversations. Absolutely love it.

Lil Wayne's daughter Arjunae Carter clapped back at those hating on Wayne's SNL50 performance after Wayne performed a medley of his hit songs during the Sunday show the Roots acting as his back backing band. Some people use his performance as an example of why he wasn't selected to play the Super Bowl. When Arjunae caught wind of the comments, she defended her dad on the Shade Room Instagram comments. She was very clearly pointed out that her father was well paid for his time. While the sumo performers didn't get any money to play. Y'all are some D riders. My dad's been having fun performing for years. He is truly himself when he hits the stage. Go play with y'all mofo kids. He collected a check after this, y'all get there. What are y'all getting for hating? Not a D thing.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, I understand resonate, you know, that. That, that's my little dog, you know, and you know, you, you got to defend your daddy. You got to defend your daddy. You know, everyone's going to have an opinion. Are they going to have an opinion? That's it. That's the world we live in. You know, they want Lil Wayne to, to look and perform a certain way based on what we're used to seeing from Lil Wayne.
Alec Baldwin
But not as. But, but you don't get no performance like that at an event.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Like there's only so much you can do. There's only you can do, you know, there's only.
Alec Baldwin
I mean, if, I mean, if he like wood. If I could see him at a performance like a Woodstock or a Rolling Loud or something like that, I could have something to judge it by. But I'm not going to judge Lil wayne performance at SNL50. And compared to somebody performing at the super bowl, that's two different things they're.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Talking about based on what they. I didn't see it. I didn't see it. But the only thing they can compare it to, maybe the energy, maybe the stage presence, maybe that's the only thing I can think of. That's the only thing I think of. Because when you think about Lil Wayne performing, I think energy, excitement, engaging with the crowd, getting everybody going.
Alec Baldwin
I tell you what, who want to see. Let's just say it for versus who want to see Lil Wayne on the verses?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hold on. If you put Lil Wayne in the verses, who the hell are you going to go against? There's only.
Alec Baldwin
That's what I'm saying.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That can actually have the catalog to even go against it. Me right.
Alec Baldwin
Now. They don't have. No. People don't even sell catalogs no more. You got to go online.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I mean catalog. I'm speaking of his body of work as far as music is.
Alec Baldwin
Okay, I know what you're talking about. I'm. Well, I thought. I thought Tim and Swiss Beats. What's swiz? I thought it was gonna be. I thought they was about to start versus good.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That would have been good. But I don't think anybody would probably watch as much as they did before because it was good. Because everybody had to be in the house. Wouldn't nobody?
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, you had Covid.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What's going on? So that was a. That was a perfect timing to do something like that.
Alec Baldwin
Who y'all want to see? Who y'all like to see? Battle Wayne? Some people say Kanye.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, that's a good one. Because Kanye had the catalog to be able to. To match. Now the sounds are got. There are completely different. The sounds of the music are. This is Apples, oranges. Still great in their own right, but completely different. I say Lil Wayne, Jay Z, chat.
Alec Baldwin
Let's give it up. Spello, Cinco. Okay. Ocho. Your first word is boudoir.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What?
Alec Baldwin
When I lie awake in my boudoir. It's a old fashioned word for a bedroom.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Say it again. Boob.
Alec Baldwin
Boudoir.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Boudoir.
Alec Baldwin
No, boudoir.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Boudoir.
Alec Baldwin
Prince had a song. When I lie awake in my brunois, I think of you. Do you think of me?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Boo. Boo.
Alec Baldwin
Boo. Boudoir. Boudoir.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
B double O D U A R.
Alec Baldwin
B O U.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's a good one. Now you just gave me a word I never heard before. I never heard nothing like that. And I've read the thesaurus. Front to back. Front to back. I've read the thesaurus. I've never heard that before.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, I guess I think you better skip the. The. The bees. How about this here? Poignant. He made a very poignant point.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
P O N I A N T. P O N I E N T. Poignant.
Alec Baldwin
P O I G N A N.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, come on, man. What are we doing? Hold on. Let me. Let me slow down a little bit. Let me slow down a little bit because I'm being. I'm being I'm being too. I'm being too fast. I'm being too slick.
Alec Baldwin
Guillotine.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Like the chokehold. Like what I'm gonna do to James Harrison.
Alec Baldwin
Yes. Actually, it was a device that was used to behead someone in French in France. So they brought you out to the guillotine. They let it down and off with the monkey's head.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, that's a good one. Guillotine. You know how to spell that, man? Hold on. I remember. Listen, remember Braveheart? Remember the movie Braveheart? When he screamed freedom?
Alec Baldwin
Yes.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, yeah. I mean, that was an ax, but still, same concept. Guillotine. Ghee. Ghee. G. Man, forget this. G E E I G U I.
Alec Baldwin
L L O T I N. No, you'd already off.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn.
Alec Baldwin
Yes. How about this, Ocho? Reconnaissance. When they send you out. When they send you out to check something out before you have to go out and do it, they sent Ocho out on the army mission.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Reconnaissance. R E C O N A I S a N C E. Damn incorrect.
Alec Baldwin
R E C O N N A I s S a N C E.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
But hey, listen, I'm feeling good, too. And I'm spelling these words with confidence, and they wrong.
Alec Baldwin
You confidently wrong.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, how about this one?
Alec Baldwin
Ocho, I promise you. Rapport.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Rapport. Rapport.
Alec Baldwin
Yes.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
R E P O I R E.
Alec Baldwin
R A P P R T. Rapport. It's a good sense of understanding and trust.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah. Cause me and my quarterback, we had a great rapport. Hey, I'm over four, huh?
Alec Baldwin
One, two, three, four. No, you over five.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
For real.
Alec Baldwin
What's this other one?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You can't even say a word.
Alec Baldwin
Oh, you ain't gonna get this one. Portmanteau. Oh, a portmanteau. Oh, a portmanteau. I had one. It was an LVLV A Louisiana. It's a large suitcase.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, what's the. Say the word again.
Alec Baldwin
Portmanteau.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Where you getting these words? From.
Alec Baldwin
The thesaurus that you supposedly had read.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, I read it. I read it because I studied. Damn. Hold on now. Portmanteau or po. You are M A N T L E.
Alec Baldwin

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Y'all cheat me over there. Somebody over there cheating me because. And I know nobody in the chat. I know y'all not laughing because they. Y'all ain't know how to spell none of them words too. It's okay. It's okay to be real. It's okay to be real and don't lie.
Alec Baldwin
All right, Ocho now it's time to dump.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
All right, I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready, I'm ready. Where we at? Okay. Hey, Chad, here we go, man. Dunk on tonight will be based on black history and some pop culture since we are in February and it is.
Alec Baldwin
Oh, yeah. Have mercy.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, yeah. Chad, we got him right here. Chad. We got him. Let me know. You ready?
Alec Baldwin
Go ahead.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Stay with me. And don't put the answers in the chat. Born in 1867, this entrepreneur is often cited as the first female self made millionaire in the U. S. Thanks to her successful hair care products for black women.
Alec Baldwin
Walker.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Somebody told you that, huh? Hey, you read that in the chat? Okay, here we go. Okay, here we go. Here we go. Here we go. She refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus in 1955, sparking the bus boycott and further igniting the civil rights movement. What was her middle name?
Alec Baldwin
Parks. I wish I could tell. Yo, Joe.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Now, I just gave you that easy one just to get you in the flow of things.
Alec Baldwin
Okay? I appreciate it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Harlem renaissance was propelled by this poet's work, including Harlem. What happened to Langston Hughes?
Alec Baldwin
You must stop playing with O'Shea. Give it a.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Give me this thing.
Alec Baldwin
Let me log in right quick. I just have a look.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hold on now, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on now. Something is a little sketchy now. Now who now have you. Were you briefed on these questions? Did they give you something to study before we did this? Because I'm trying to understand how before I even finish, you know, asking the question, you answering.
Alec Baldwin
Cause I don't want you to say the chad didn't help me out. That's why I'm answering them fast. Because you gonna say the chance of.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Parks when I understand. Now I get that one. Now the rest of them, I ain't even finishing. You just throwing. You throwing the answer out there.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, I'm black. I went to a black school. I mean, I should know a little something.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Here we go. Known as the Moses of her people, she was an abolishing, abolish abolitionist. Abolitionists guided dozens of enslaved individuals to freedom via the. Now, this ain't fair. Who is this? What was her nickname? Don't give me her real name. What was her nickname?
Alec Baldwin
Harry.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What was her nickname?
Alec Baldwin
You said she was named Black Moses.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah. Okay, you got that one. You got that one. All right, here we go, here we go. What fictional HBCU was attended in the show? A different world?
Alec Baldwin
Human.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, hold on. Okay, okay, in family matters, what was Steve Urkel's more attractive, suave alter ego?
Alec Baldwin
Oh, hold on.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, got him. Got him. Oh, yeah, I know that one. Stefan, are you and you. Nah, man. Hey, chat. Time out. Time. Time out. I need. I need to talk to, like. Because your questions were somewhat easy, and the fact that you went to an hbcu, it made it even easier for you now when it came to me. Now, I know I was a spelling. Spelling bee champ from 1985 to 1997, but the words that I'm being asked to spell are so far extreme.
Alec Baldwin
Bro. Do you see the words those little kids be spelling?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That is. That is their profession.
Alec Baldwin
That's their profession. Bad. Them kids, trust me, they can spell, but they know a lot more ish than spelling words. Most of those kids are homeschooled, and they'd be graduating.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Like, that's the problem. I wasn't homeschooled. Now, you know, I was in the back of the bungalow, you know, Damn, man, I. I went over five, but I. That don't sit over six. You ain't had to say that. You ain't had to throw that out there. And I was. I was so confident about tonight, too. Chad. I let y'all down. Chad, I apologize. Like, on behalf of me, I. I really apologize. I let y'all down, and I'm embarrassed. Not just myself, but I embarrass y'all as well.

Trevon Edwards
And we ranked our top five shooters from the 2000s.

Foreign. A husband threw away a wife's Valentine gifts that her boss got her. Ocho. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's just say World Rail works in corporate America. She come home, balloons, couple of gifts, flowers. Hey, Ra. Where you getting that from? My boss gave. My boss got this for me. The floor is yours.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
We wouldn't be together. Listen, let me take. Let me take my glasses off real quick. I know I. I know I play around a lot. You know, I play around a lot. I make a lot of jokes, and there's a lot of things that I don't play about Right individual that I'm dealing with. On how you move when you. When. When you attach to my name. I don't play them games. It's a. It's a certain site. It's a certain thing about. About respect. And if. If you respect me, if you know your boss gave you something at work, you ain't even bringing that home just out of respect. Whether it was ins. That's going to trash. That's just out of respect. I don't. I don't. I don't play them games. And the fact. Let's say if you do bring them goddamn gifts in a house where I'm probably paying them off on the bills and you trying to be funny. Because that's what. I'm considerate. I'm considering you trying to be funny. Well, then I'm gonna make it a comedy show. I'm not even gonna say nothing. You want to be funny? I'm gonna make it a comedy show. And that's just the way I've always been. You know right from wrong. You know about respect. You know what you should and shouldn't do. I'm not your guardian. I'm not your parents. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna scold you. I ain't gonna say nothing. I just move accordingly to how you operate. Whatever you do, I'm doing the same, too. Talk to me now.
Alec Baldwin
But I got a better question. I'm trying to figure out, what have you been doing at work to make your boss feel comfortable enough to buy you something, to get you flowers, to get you balloons?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
But did he do it for Everybody or did he just do it for you?
Alec Baldwin
That's what I'm saying. You. First of all, you know he ain't buying everybody no gifts. Bosses are cheap. I ain't cheap, but I damn sure anybody. Nobody know Valentine's. I ain't cheap, but you get no Valentine's. As a matter of fact, I ain't telling nobody. Happy Valentine. What the hell is that? So that's what. Oh, I'm being in chat. I think y'all gonna back me up on this. For somebody to feel comfortable enough to get your girl or your. And women, this applies to you, his boss or a co worker feel comfortable enough to get your man flowers, to get your man, to get your man a gift.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And you know what else that means? That means she's already put her boss in a comfortable position where he feels it's okay to do so.
Alec Baldwin
That. There you go. And see, I ain't got no problem with the boss because I ain't in no relationship with the boss. I. I never. I never check a guy about somebody I'm dealing with. That's your job. Never. I ain't never approached no. Hey, I.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, I got a question for you. And I don't chat. Y'all stay with me real quick. And there's a couple of fellas. Fellas in here. And it just goes back to just the thought about respect and other guys doing things and women trying to move and just. Just, just. You could be honest with me. Have you ever been the side dude, at any point in your life did be honest? I mean, we family. We could talk and fellas in the chat. Have you ever been the side dude? I'm just. Just be. You could be honest. And you told me we family, bro.
Alec Baldwin
I'm about to be 57. I'm pretty sure.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Knowingly been inside dude with understanding how things work, how women lie, how women are sneaky. Just. You can be honest. I mean, it ain't okay. Okay. Yeah, okay.
Alec Baldwin
But here's the thing. It's for me, but then I just. I. Then I just remember, like, you know what? I just have to remove myself. Because the longer you in a situation, Ocho, man, I mean, feeling. It's hard. It's hard. Feelings are going to get involved. You start talking to that person, you spend time with that person, you. You be intimate with that person. It's hard to just keep it. Okay, you. You got him? I got.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It ain't. It ain't hard.
Alec Baldwin
Eventually somebody gonna break it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It ain't hard. It ain't hard because why would you under with a great understanding as number two, you get all the fun. You ain't got no responsibilities. You get the best version of her. Why the hell would I want to be promoted to number one? And I'm living the life. He got to deal with headache. He got to deal with the bullshit.
Alec Baldwin
But I don't get that. Don't Ocho. You know, I don't get that women sleep with 700 guys. They want to settle down with me, you and I. Oh, I have to. I asked Lord to send me something, but send me somebody. It damn sure what me. Hey, I'm just like the other guy. I'm just dropping this package off to you, baby. Oh, no, I ain't. No, sir, it ain't me. He ain't sending me to you. He sent me to drop off one of those other ones.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm saying that and using that analogy for better context with the whole Boston and the comfortability and feeling comfortable enough to bring a package that someone else gave you and bring it home into a house where I'm assuming the man, you know, pays the bills. If she's that comfortable, she already doesn't respect you. She, she already doesn't. And they got the nerve to say, well, when you go sleep. What?
Alec Baldwin
Oh, yeah, yeah. That's why I never, I, I, I never. Like after I heard my grandmother say how when she was living on somebody else property, how they, those people would come by and bring five, six, seven loads of clothes on Sunday after they get back from church o cho. And they would have to have those clothes washed. So now you gotta start a fire and put those clothes in that pot to get the hot water. And you gotta have those clothes ready by Monday. And they say, well, Lou, if you don't have these clothes ready, you're gon to move on. I said, oh, no, I never gonna let somebody put me in that situation.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, that's, that's, that's, that's one, that's one of the worst feelings there, boy. That's why you, that's why you always hit me when I say so. Something that I've always mastered. I've always. And I've mastered it to a T with the kind of discipline I had when it came to being, being great at the game of football, managing my expectations. Because I was on the other side of the fence for so long. Because I was on the other side of the fence for so long, I have great understanding that it can happen to me.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
So when it does happen to me, it's easy for me to compartmentalize and remove myself. It's easy. Now, you other hand, we think differently. But I, I already go into. I'm not. I'm just speaking in general. I already go into situations with great understanding. Well, hell, if I was on the other side of the fence, well, who the hell am I to have the ego and pride to think it can't happen to me?
Alec Baldwin
Oh, I'm.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm not no fool, but, you know, goddamn me. But anyway, I just can't believe she actually bought the gifts home and had the nerve to record it. Do you think that was. You think that was a skit face?
Alec Baldwin
Ain't no telling. I think the thing is, for me, Ocho. Hey, back in the day, if you saw, if you saw a UPS in your girl phone, that was me.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hold on.
Alec Baldwin
I was dropping off a package once a week.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, that.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, I was dropping off a package once a week. That's all.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Because you know what's funny? You and dropping your UPS package off once a week. How long it takes to deliver something, man, listen. Cause I'm on the clock.
Alec Baldwin
Hey, we. Hey, you see them? You see UPF. They get under the truck. They running FedEx. They running. As soon as they hit feet, step on the gas. That's how I was.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's as long as it takes. That's as long as it takes.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah. What's that Jibaloo slogan? In and out in 10 minutes, you get a oil change. Hey, awps. Hey, you, you've been to NASCAR.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You see the pissed off, you're not dragging. Like I always say, I'm gone famous saying, the game is the game and it will always be the same. That's why you got to learn how to play it.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah, it's. Yeah, don't bring that. But don't bring that back no more. Don't bring that lady. Don't bring the packages home. Somebody give you something if you.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
If, if someone gives you a package, you bring it home. She don't just. She don't respect you. She don't respect you.
Alec Baldwin
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
There's certain things you just know you shouldn't be doing. The volume.

Club Shay Shay – Episode: Nightcap - Hour 2: Cardi B & Diggs, Drake vs. Kendrick, Lil Wayne’s Daughter Claps Back
Release Date: February 23, 2025
In this engaging episode of Club Shay Shay, hosts Alec Baldwin and Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco) navigate through the latest buzz in the world of celebrities, sports, and music with their characteristic wit and candid discussions. The episode primarily focuses on the swirling rumors surrounding Cardi B and Stefon Diggs, the evolving dynamics between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, and a spirited defense by Lil Wayne’s daughter against criticisms of her father’s recent performances.
The conversation kicks off with Cardi B being spotted with Stefon Diggs on Valentine's Day, igniting rumors of an affair during her pregnancy with Offset’s child.
Alec Baldwin [08:06]:
"Every time Cardi B was spotted out with Stephan Diggs on Valentine's Day, it was remembered that Cardi B had an affair with Diggs while she was pregnant with Offset's child. Oh, Lord."
Chad Johnson [07:05]:
"I don't think that was true. I think that might have been fabricated."
Chad expresses skepticism about the authenticity of these rumors, emphasizing the prevalence of fabricated stories in celebrity culture. The duo delves into the complexities of public relationships, trust, and the impact of media speculation on personal lives.
Transitioning to the music scene, the hosts discuss the rumored fallout between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, referencing comments made by NBA star DeMar DeRozan.
Alec Baldwin [12:24]:
"Drake and DeRozan's relationship soured after a later period on stage at Kendrick Lamar's 'The Pop Out' concert and dance to a scathing diss track."
Chad Johnson [13:15]:
"Demar, in Toronto, obviously he had a relationship with Drake. I don't know the extent of that relationship."
Chad analyzes the intertwining relationships between athletes and musicians, highlighting how personal dynamics can influence professional collaborations and public perceptions.
The discussion takes a heartfelt turn as Lil Wayne’s daughter, Arjunae Carter, responds to critics targeting her father’s performance on SNL50.
Alec Baldwin [22:56]:

Chad Johnson [24:56]:

Arjunae defends her father’s artistic choices and professionalism, countering arguments that question his suitability for high-profile performances. Chad underscores the importance of respecting individual artistic expression despite public scrutiny.
Adding a playful element, Baldwin and Chad engage in a lighthearted spelling challenge, attempting to correctly spell complex words like "boudoir," "poignant," and "portmanteau." This segment showcases their chemistry and humorous rapport.
Following the spelling game, they present a fictional skit exploring a husband's reaction to his wife bringing home gifts from her boss on Valentine's Day.
This skit humorously delves into themes of trust, respect, and boundaries within personal relationships, highlighting the potential complications that arise when professional interactions overlap with personal life.
The episode concludes with reflections on maintaining personal integrity and emotional boundaries. Chad shares his perspective on being the 'second choice' in relationships, emphasizing the wisdom gained from past experiences.

These insights encourage listeners to prioritize self-respect and authenticity in their relationships, advocating for honesty and clear communication.
Alec Baldwin [08:06]:
