Oo, we got breaking news. Lloyd. Lloyd Howell just announced resignation as the NFL PA's executive director. Remember, he came after D.C. deMar.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah. Well, can I. Hey, hey, un. What you think about me? Put my name in the hat because I would represent the players, right? I will represent. I will. I will fight tooth and nail for what we deserve. Matter of fact, and the first thing, the first order of business, if I was the NFLPA president, okay, first thing I'm gonna do is I'm standing on the table. I don't know who I need to talk to, but we want lifetime health benefits. That's number one.
Unknown Speaker
Convince them 1500 guys that you, that you. That you're trying to get them to go in the right direction, that you're going to strike to do it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I can get them. Hey, one thing about it, what you don't want to do is put me in front of today's NFL players because you know they gonna side with me every time.
Unknown Speaker
They gonna side with you as long as they don't come to money.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, I'm the one like they gonna. They gonna side with me when it come to money too, because they understand when I put that suit on and for one, the, the ultra you get on Nightcap and the, and the person you get in person when it comes to business like that, that chad them Two completely different. Oh, I mean, I'm sorry.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
My bad. Hey, that's two. Two. That's two completely different people. Because now we talking about business. I ain't play. I ain't. I don't. I don't play. When it come to business. I got two sides. I got a light switch. I know when to turn it on. I know what it turned off.
Unknown Speaker
It would. After reading it was gonna be hard for him. Cause he had a consultation job that used to work for the NFL. I mean, how you have a consultation job, you work for the NFL and then you become the NFL.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's crazy, huh? Hold on. How about how.
Unknown Speaker
I mean, did they not vet. Did they not vet this?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Let's start there.
Unknown Speaker
Yes, they voted. The PA committee voted.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
So not a. Are they really far not.
Unknown Speaker
I don't know who they for.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's why. That's why they need somebody like me. You need you.
Unknown Speaker
It ain't. It ain't been the same since Gene rest his soul. Jean upshot was the best one.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, that. That. That should be me, man. That should be me.
Unknown Speaker
And then you hear about the collusion, and then you hear about the lost cases, about, you know, how they telling the players they need to fake injuries or to hold in. You go there, you get your money. It's just. It's just a mess right now.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, I. I get it together. I get it. I get everybody. Everybody in line. I play around all the time.
Unknown Speaker
It's hard. I. You know, and you know, look, we. We talk about all the time, Ochos, like, you want to get things, but like I said, it's hard because maybe only 50 guys making the money. And the other 1450. Like, bro, we need this. It's the 50 guys that in two paychecks have secured their family for the rest of their life. You know, Lamar Jackson is cool. Patrick Mahomes cool. Burrow those top quarterbacks, those top defenders, those top receivers, those top DBs. But what about the guys that's never going to make that kind of paper, Ocho. Yeah, what about the guys? Because the average length. Because we talk about a guy. You say you played against Joe Flacco, but the average length of an NFL player is still only three years. So what about the guy that's only gonna be in there three years? You think he worried about something that's gonna happen in 2030 when you 2035? Hell, no. If I got in 2025, hell, I'm talking about 25, 26, 27. That's what I'm worried about. I ain't worried about 30 and 35, because guess what? I probably ain't gonna be around to enjoy it. And so that's the mindset the guys are dealing with. I understand it, even if I don't sometimes always agree with it. Sometimes you have to take a stand. But a lot of times, Ocho, if I don't get no benefit out of it, I don't really feel like helping nobody.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I ain't like that.
Unknown Speaker
I. I'm not like that either. But I'm just saying there are a lot of people are. Yeah, what. What's the. What's it, Ocho? How many times does somebody say for me, what's in it for me?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And then that's another reason.
Unknown Speaker
That's another reason, Ocho. What do I get out of this?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's another reason. This is. This is perfect. Why I be. I. I would be perfect for that position because there's nothing that I need. There's nothing that I need that I don't already have. I'mma fight for the players that ain't making the big money. I'mma make sure you get what you need for one. I. I told you what I'm starting with. First, we will lock out, and we will strike. And the owner, we want lifetime health benef.
Unknown Speaker
Well, you get to strike. The owners lock you out. You can't lock out.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, listen.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, you gonna strike?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, that's fine. The only. They want to play hardball, we'll play hardball.
Unknown Speaker
But. But you had to understand, they're fighting for the wrong things. They're fighting. Oh, we don't want two of their practices. You know what? I don't want to wear pads, but X amount of times during the regular season. See, they bargain. And see, the thing is, the players are bargaining for petty privileges. Oh, we. We want the weed. We want the nanogram. You think they really give a damn about y' all smoking weed?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
No, absolutely not.
Unknown Speaker
Y' all bargaining for things they wanted to give y' all anyway. They're like, hey, hey, if he gonna play, I don't care nothing about no him smoking no weed. And you bargain that. Oh, but guess what? I can smoke now. They only test this amount of time you're bargaining for petty privileges don't even matter. You ain't bargain. You ain't trying to get no lifetime health benefit. You ain't trying to get away done with that franchise tag. You're not trying to get away a guaranteed money.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You're not.
Unknown Speaker
You bargaining for practice time. You got two. No, double no. 2A days in training camp. No. You can only have so many padded practice during the course of the year. That's what y' all bargain. Y' all bargain weed.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Why they need somebody like me? That's why they need somebody like me.
Unknown Speaker
O you dealing with grown men? How. What you mean like you? So let me ask you a question. Did those guys come.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Did.
Unknown Speaker
How many times did they come around and tell y' all about DUIs? What did it stop?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
People still drink and listen, the funny thing. Thank you and see, it's hard. Oh, my black ad don't drink no alcohol. I've never, I've never been in that situation. But them boys, them young boys, them linemen.
Unknown Speaker
You see how you take it, Ocho, and think about it, Ocho. Think about what you just said. You say, well, I don't drink. Guys that's making money say, well, hey, I ain't worried about lifetime benefits. Cause I'll be able to pay for them myself. There are a lot of guys. When the free agency first happened with the Reggie White settlement, man, I got a million dollars, I buy my own health insurance. Okay, okay, that sounds good.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You talking real big now in that moment. Give it a couple of years.
Unknown Speaker
You Also, you also 26. There ain't a whole lot of 26 years, 26 year old that need medical. But what happens when you get 46, 56, 66, 76, if you're fortunate enough, Then what when you not making a million dollars? Now, making a million dollars is fine. You get married, you get divorced. She takes half of it. She also takes half of your pension.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's what happened. She get the pension, half of the 401k.
Unknown Speaker
Half of that's pension, half of it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You sure? Let me do. Let me do my homework.
Unknown Speaker
You can do all the homework you want. I'm absolutely 100%. You know, if in a regular job, if you want a regular 9 to 5 and you get a divorce, they get half your pension. You don't think they finna take half of your NFL pension?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Boy, the devil is a lie.
Unknown Speaker
And more times than not, if you somebody guess where your kids go to school, private. How you gonna continue to fund that and pay support? It might be 5000 a child, it might be 2500 a child. But what happens when you don't have that money coming in and there's only money going out?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
See, now you see why I'm so thankful for those I have kids from ain't had no problems. One band, one sound.
Unknown Speaker
So a lot of times we don't, we don't think nobody ever think it's going to happen. Like I said, you don't think it's going to happen to us. But that's the breaking news. Lloyd Howell is out at nflpa. Executive director. After reading everything that I was reading, I was like, I don't know how he's.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Who, who is he going to be able to talk and stand in front of after that exact point? Exactly. You have no choice but to resign. As a matter of fact, I feel bad for whoever goes in next in his place.
Unknown Speaker
Well, he, he easy to follow. Ain't no way that somebody coming in after him gonna be worse than him.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
No, no.
Unknown Speaker
You should have gave Troy Vincent that job.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm not sure. Troy might not have wanted it. He might have want to see.
Unknown Speaker
He don't want it now. No. They gave D. Smith.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You're right.

Unknown Speaker
Jackson takes it himself. Look at him. Dirt back and forth. Oh, he broke his ankles and he's got a touchdown. He is Houdini.

San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team. We need veteran players and we need young players. Like you're building a team from scratch and so the succession plan of long term success needs to be defined. We need to embrace this community. When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier and we watched Paraguay against Chile. Pouring rain. Just watching the fans jumping up and down, I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me. Not only was that going to be my game, but it was Going to be my life.

Anthony Richard shoulder is reportedly believed to be recovered from the setback. AR underwent season ending surgery on his AC joint in his rookie season of 2023. He reported experiencing soreness in the shoulder during the spring and missed the last two weeks of the club's off season practices. He's in the open competition to be the cold starter with Daniel Jones. Arkansas completed just 48 of his passes in 2418 yards, eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also rushed for 499 yards and six touchdowns. Ocho, I saw something today. I don't know if it's true, but they showed his numbers from the time he was a quarterback in High School, 9th grade, 10th, 11th and at Florida.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What happened?
Unknown Speaker
Ocho, he ain't never been a marksman, right? He's a 4050 completion guy.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
We can approve that though. Huh? We can approve that.
Unknown Speaker
Well, you he's guess get guess what he is in the NFL.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Talk to me.
Unknown Speaker
His completion percentage is lower than tebow's. Tebow's is 47%.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
47%. What's his.
Unknown Speaker
Yep, is that good?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
But did you hear what I just said? I said we can improve that. Do you know who has to do it though?
Unknown Speaker
I'm trying to think of that. Who got to do it?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He got to do that. He gotta want to do it.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, I want to improve.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He got to want to put the work in.
Unknown Speaker
So let me ask you a question. So I'm his freshman year to his sophomore year, did he want to improve?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I don't know.
Unknown Speaker
Okay. From sophomore year to junior year, did he want to improve from his junior year to his senior year? Okay, let's go senior year to freshman year in college.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I got a question for you. Have his number, have his numbers changed yet and got increasingly better in any of those times you just explained?
Unknown Speaker
No, they have not. Ash, can you find that, can we find that and put that up on, put that up as a graphic. I, I, we might need to have some time to vet it. I meant, I meant to sit that, I meant to send that to you.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey. Hey. Was you trying to be funny? Was his percentage, his throne percentage really below Tim Tebow?
Unknown Speaker
Yes. Ocho was at 48% last year. In today's game, if you're not at least 60%, you're not good. It's not like it was. I remember when 55, 57% was good because of the way they play. They allow the defenses to play with the way they protect the quarterback, the way they protect the receiver, and you complete less than 50. Oh, let me ask you a question. If you call 50, if you call 48% of the balls, how long do you think you'll be a receiver in the NFL?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm just.
Unknown Speaker
You laughing? I ain't laughing on you. Seriously.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
48%. I might make. I might. I might make it past three years.
Unknown Speaker
If you call 40% of the balls, you might make it past three games. You ain't making it three years catching 48 of the balls. That ain't happening. You gotta fix it. Ocho. In high school, his completion percentage was 53%. In college, his completion percentage was 55. In the NFL, his completion percentage is 54, is 51.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He either. He didn't scale back a little bit. He's a scale back a little bit. Not. Not. Do we. Do we. Do we attest any of these percentages to injury?
Unknown Speaker
Do you realize what now you know what he's throwing to and. And you. We talked about this the other day. What he's throwing to it now?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Michael Pittman. Okay. Alex Pierce.
Unknown Speaker
Pierce, yeah. And what's the other guy name?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Dude, he got Jonathan Taylor back there. Who on the other side of Michael Pittman Jr. Is it downs?
Unknown Speaker
What's the other receiver name?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Not Josh. Damn. Who is the other receiver? Chad. Who's the other receiver on the other side of Michael Pittman Jr. He might. Yeah. Who are Josh Downs? Alex?
Unknown Speaker
Yes.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, I was right. I was right. But that goddamn.
Unknown Speaker
And he got Jonathan Taylor in the backfield.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, you know how easy that is?
Unknown Speaker
Your mic. Oh, oh.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It was too low.
Unknown Speaker
Bro. I'm trying to hold on.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Unknown Speaker
Ocho At 53, this man got a scholarship to a D1A Power 5.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Have you seen Anthony Richardson in person? What you mean?
Unknown Speaker
How your mic have you tell Ocho his mic is out.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You can't hear me? Hey, you hear me now? Hello?
Unknown Speaker
No.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I know. I wasn't tripping. Your earphones going dead, huh? Chat, chat, can you hear me? Chat chat.
Unknown Speaker
At some point in time, it's just not about potential. Potential is not going to get it done. Potential just mean you haven't done anything yet. One time. Anthony Richardson is going to have to take advantage of that 6 foot 4, 244 pound frame that's running 4 5. It's just not. Those are good measurables, but I can't win a championship with measurables. I mean, I went I win games with results, and those results aren't happening now.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, I, I wish. Yeah, they. Everybody. The whole chat can hit me. Unc, you the only one can't hear me. I think they went dead.
Unknown Speaker
Did you charge them up?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You don't need. You don't need them. You can hear me. Can you hear me now? Yeah, yeah, I'm back.
Unknown Speaker
Maybe, Maybe it was my headphones.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm back. I'm back. We back.
Unknown Speaker
No, no. I was saying, Ocho, at some point in time, potential just means you haven't done anything yet. At some point in time. I can't win with potential. I have to win with results. And the results that he's giving me, I, I can't. I can't win with that. It's just not good enough to be 6 foot 4, 240, running 4 or 5.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You know what?
Unknown Speaker
I, I, that's not good enough. That don't. That doesn't win me anything.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
It doesn't. And I, I think for, for him, I think the, the light, the light should, it should have went on whenever they, Whenever you saw, okay, they signed Daniel Jones. They gave him one year, 14 million. And I'm. I'm still here. The light should have went on. It should have clicked. With great understanding. If he at some point takes my spot and he's given that position, when we do have that quarterback battle, the chances of me getting another job as a starting quarterback in the NFL, it's going to be very slim.
Unknown Speaker
Ocho, the team had a meeting. They called you into a meeting to say, bro, you got to stop coming in late and leaving early. Really? Ocho, at the quarterback? That Ocho, that tells you, if I, if at this early in my career, if I've got to have that conversation with my quarterback, it ain't gonna be long. Ocho, let's not fool ourselves. You know that. I know. You played the game long enough. I played the game long enough. And we both played at a high level.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Dang, you don't.
Unknown Speaker
Why should. Ocho. You should be, bro, this is a lifelong dream. You're playing in the NFL, and I've got that. We gotta have a meeting and say we. Ocho, remember they suspended the dude because he took himself out of the game.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And you think they really had to have a meeting about him leaving too early?
Unknown Speaker
Man, you heard Michael Pittman Jr. Sit on our stage and tell us that at the Super Bowl. Ojo, you talking about really?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn. You think he don't want it no more? You think he had the same Hunger.
Unknown Speaker
I don't know what I don't know.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He don't have a drive.
Unknown Speaker
All I know is that they drafted him on potential. And at no point in time has he ever lived up to the potential that they said. Not in high school, not in college and not in the pros. It's really that simple.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I tell you one thing, and this is no disrespect to Daniel Jones. We saw a nice sample size of Daniel Jones in New York. Now he might look a little better because what he's surrounded by in Indianapolis, you got Jonathan Taylor back there, stretch left, stretch right. You got Michael Pittman Jr. Josh Downs and Alex Pierce. Them boys ain't no effing slouches. So Daniel Jones looked much better if given the opportunity to be the quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts.
Unknown Speaker
Guess who. Guess who else had those exact same weapons. Jonathan Taylor in the backfield, Josh Downs, Alec Pierce, Michael Pittman Jr. Can you tell the people that's listening or the people that's watching or word of mouth is going to get passed along, who else had those exact same weapons?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Anthony Richardson.
Unknown Speaker
He had those weapons and he's completing 51 passes. And Jonathan Taylor's running the air out of the football. I mean, we don't talk. Look, because Saquon and, and, and, and, and Derrick Henry had unbelievable rush season, we forget that Jonathan Taylor is still him.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Absolutely, absolutely. He's in that conversation. When we talk about top five running backs, he should still be in that conversation. But here we put, See, wait, hold on, hold on. We got Josh Jacobs, Derek Henry, Christian.
Unknown Speaker
McCaffrey, and he only 26 years of age.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Am I missing somebody?
Unknown Speaker
Oh, last year he had 14. He had 1400 yards, 11 touchdowns. He had 14 at 23. He was injured. He only had 169 rush yards. So that was Richardson's first year. But Richardson got hurt too, so that don't really count.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn. I, I hope, I hope Anthony Richardson get it together, whatever it may be. I'm not, I'm not in there. I'm, I'm not in there, but just, just players like that. I would love to see him succeed. I would love to see him take it serious. I would love them to live out their childhood dreams and not just make a team based on potential or looking like you got it. Having that it factor based on measurables that have nothing to do with winning games. I hope whatever is going on with Anthony Richardson, I just want to see him succeed. I'm, I would love to see him.
Unknown Speaker
Succeed, but you can't want something more for him than he wants it for himself.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You're right. You're right. You're right.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, Joe. Dan Dillard is returning to the Blazers. Three years, $45 million would include a player option for 27, 28, and in no trade clause. It is. Is it better the second time around?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Well, my therapist always told me, when you break up with your ex, you never spend the block because whatever you left for the first time, it is sure to arrive the second time. I'm not sure if that's the same. It goes the same in basketball, but maybe. Maybe the rekindling of the. The relationship between Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers may be different this time. It may be. I love. I love Dame. No, he's been joy to watch over the years. I'm excited for him. I'm hoping he gets back healthy to full strength where he can be the same Damien Letter we're used to seeing before. Yeah, I mean, it's a dope situation. I'm. I'm glad the Trailblazers opened their arms and we're willing to let him come back. So that's dope.
Unknown Speaker
Damon Lillard found out that nobody was gonna love him like Portland, even going to Milwaukee and teaming up, you know, because a lot like, it's not that big of a deal. I guarantee you. If Giannis had him as Milwaukee, could he train, could he rehab outside, It'd be no problem. But Dame doesn't have the same cachet in Milwaukee as he had in Portland. And that's what guys need to understand. They're never going to love you as much as they do where you're originally from.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn, that's a good one.
Unknown Speaker
He's not going to play this year.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
This year.
Unknown Speaker
This year. So the first time we will probably see Dame on The court is 26, 27. And then because he has that no tree, he has a no trade clause. He had a player option 27, 28. So we're not going to see Dame until the 26, 27 season.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn, that's crazy.
Unknown Speaker
But I'm glad he went home. I mean, I think the thing is that Dane wanted an opportunity to play for a championship, and he realized that he wasn't going to play for it there. And, you know, he's like, okay, I got a movie. You know, he want to pull, I want to do a Kevin Garnett. Kevin Garnett was loyal to the soil until he finally realized he wasn't. And then he said, okay, you can trade me. And he Went to Boston and he won one and he came close to winning another. He lost game seven to the, to the Lakers. And Dame wanted a very similar situation. I think Dame stayed too long, but he didn't go to where he wanted to go. He wanted to go to Miami. And Miami didn't want to give up the assets to get him, so he had to go detour. And it didn't work out. I didn't think it was going to work out and it didn't. But hey, he got an opportunity. And like I said, a lot of times, Ocho, when these guys move, ain't no guarantee you don't win a chip, even if you go pair with another great player.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, that's, that's unfortunate. That's, that's crazy. But I'm glad they did open their arms and they're willing to let him come back.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, his family's there, his kids there. He got three, I think he got three boys. His ex wife still lives there. He wanted to be close to them. His family still is there. And so it's a no brainer to me. Milwaukee still owe him a boatload of money. They bought him out. They bought him out or cut. Or cut him, I don't know, whatever the case may be, but they still owe him 110, 115, $20 million. And he gets another, you know, three years at 45 million. So another 15 million a year.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I like it.
Unknown Speaker
But hopefully he heals up and be ready to go because I want to see Dame, the old Dame Lillard out there in 26, 27. Yep. Dame time.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What are we talking about?
Unknown Speaker
Ocho Golf. YouTube megastar Grant Horvat announced that he was refusing an offer to play in the PGA's Tour Barracuda Championship after the tour made it clear he would not be allowed to create content. YouTube content from the experience. Unfortunately, this is what he tweeted. Unfortunately, I will not be playing in the PGA Tour event. The rules and regulations around the PGA Tour tournament will not allow us to film. The only reason I was in position to receive the invitation like this was because of YouTube and you're all watching the videos. So if I'm going to play, we want to film it. And I'm hopeful this won't always be the case. I would be honored to play a PGA Tour event and bring y' all along in the future. Huge thanks. Huge thanks you to the Barracuda for the invite and the belief in YouTube Golf.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's. That's pretty dope. A great opportunity. Obviously being Able to expand the brand PGA to. To a different audience, a broader audience, a younger audience. I think maybe they. They don't understand that yet. I think it's similar to the NFL back when I was playing unc, when they had so many rules, you know, where they did. They didn't see the vision. They didn't see the vision. Long term, I think this was a great opportunity for the PGA to continue to grow the game of golf and bring in a different type of audience to their game. You know, YouTubers. And I mean, that's. That's. That's the world that we're in right now. That's the world that we're in right now. So I think they should have allowed it and be a little bit more lenient and embrace the era that we're in now when it comes to YouTubers and streaming and allow them to do what they need to do as long as it doesn't take away from, you know, the PGA Tour in itself, which it. Which it wouldn't.
Unknown Speaker
You see the NFL, a lot of events. What do they have, Drew? Ski Castanet.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Different audience, different eyes.
Unknown Speaker
Aiden Ross. You see, those are the. Those are the. The Gen Z. Those are the people that. Okay, those are eyeballs. Yeah. Come on, golf. I understand y' all have, you know.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Etiquette and all that other stuff, whatever, what job, please. But again, it's all about continue to.
Unknown Speaker
You want eyeballs?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Unknown Speaker
This guy can provide them for you.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, you know, you know what we should do on. Before you. Before you go on to the next thing, you see how you say.
Unknown Speaker
Huh?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Can you hear me? I was thinking about something. Right? So, you know you have Kaiet, right?
Unknown Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Drew.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You have Aiden Ross and. And you know, you know them fellas speed, the other one. Speed. Oh, yeah, I show speed. Yeah. You got speed, right? How come we don't have nobody that's doing that type of content? But for the older folks, like, stuff we like to do and it's recording.
Unknown Speaker
Stream what all the folks creating content. Ocho what older folks could.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's the point. We don't have one. That's where I come in.
Unknown Speaker
Okay, go ahead, Go ahead.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay.
Unknown Speaker
I'm doing what all the folks go sit around and watch somebody play video games.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Wait a minute, let me finish. Like, let me cook. Let me cook. If. If Kai could do it, if Drowski could do it and speed can do it, then I can do it for things for people my age.
Unknown Speaker
Ain't nobody sitting around watching people think that's ridiculous. Your Age. Who's sitting around watching other people play. Play a video game with you?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I said would be, do you do it?
Unknown Speaker
Do you sit around and watch people play video games?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah, on my twitch.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, I watch you watch you play video games. I'm asking you, do you sit down and watch castanet stream? Do you watch Aiden Ross? Do you watch? I sell speed. Speed. Do you do that? Okay, then the halt his fame as a YouTube creator is landed here in a spot on the tour. His involvement in the barracuda would have increased TV ratings and interest in the sport, thereby increasing sponsor value of the tournament. You see, Ocho, if you sit down and think about it, you're like, you know what? People my age, they ain't sitting around and watching nobody do that. They don't like people at your age and my age, they don't like no pranks.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Right.
Unknown Speaker
They don't watch. They're not fitting to watch nobody just like, okay, so what do I do? That's what the younger generation do, and that's the demo sponsors and advertisers are trying to appeal to. They have eyeballs.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I got eyeballs, too. And we can.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, but like I said. You said you want to appeal to.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, no, I didn't say that.
Unknown Speaker
Demographic. I said basically, it's 45 to 54, our demographic.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Like, do the stuff we like to do.
Unknown Speaker
Okay, so what are you. Hold on. Kai, Speed, Aiden, they create content. Okay, so what content are you gonna create for the 45 to 54 Democrats?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You listen to me.
Unknown Speaker
Yep.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm gonna create content at the cigar bar.
Unknown Speaker
Cigar do what?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Jazz, cigar rolling, Going salsa dancing, Parachuting. Without the parachute.
Unknown Speaker
Chad, do y' all think that's a good idea? Do you think the demographic. The 50, 45 to 54 and the 54 to 65, do you think that demographic would be interested Ocho doing this?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Tell them. Tell them chat.
Unknown Speaker
Okay. Build it. Go ahead. You don't try it. Go ahead.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What's the movie with the baseball movie? Build it and they will come.
Unknown Speaker
Feel the dreams.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
There we go. Build it and they will come. Listen, Unc, that's a late listen. Stay with me real quick. That is a lane that has not been touched. We got all the young bulls. All the young bulls. They having fun. They having fun.
Unknown Speaker
Who? Ocho, people in your demographic are not on their phone like that.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
In this era, you man shoot everybody on their phone. I think me and you need to create something. Me and you. I can imma buy the backpack. Listen, hey, Jordan. Jordan. Gonna be the cameraman. We're gonna buy the.
Unknown Speaker
I. I'll let you have it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm gonna do it too. The backpack is only 30k. It's only 30k. So we gonna. We gonna stream everything we do for 24 hours straight.
Unknown Speaker
Nah, I'm good.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
We're gonna do it.
Unknown Speaker
That's your labor. That's your labor of love.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I'm gonna show up to your house, and you'll have no choice. Then what you gonna do?
Unknown Speaker
See, I. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not passionate about that. That's. That's what you're passionate about. So if you passionate about it, do it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He gonna do it.
Unknown Speaker
No, I'm not gonna do it. I ain't gonna lie to you. That ain't what I'm passionate about.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You know what? See, this is what makes it so perfect. You're not passionate about it, and the fact that you don't want to do it is what's gonna make it so great. Boom, we got a show.
Unknown Speaker
Things only. Things only work when you're passionate about doing them because you don't look at it as being. You don't look at it being work. You don't look at as being monotonous. You're like, oh, boy. It's like people. People that go to the job, oh, man, I gotta go to the job again. Because that. They're doing something that they don't really love. They don't really love, right?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You're gonna be.
Unknown Speaker
So if you love it, you're passionate about it. That's how you know, like being on.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Camera doing crazy anyway. Just. Just in general.
Unknown Speaker
Oo, what's stopping me?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What's stopping me? The. The goddamn. The. The damn backpack cost 30 grand.
Unknown Speaker
Okay, you invest in you, right?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
No, I ain't got no cameraman. Who the hell going to run the camera?
Unknown Speaker
You hire one, how you gonna know.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
If he good or not? And what if he don't know how to work that goddamn backpack?
Unknown Speaker
Hey, that's what you do. You. It's the same thing. Oo, you know how to hire people. You hire people. You interview people. You says, okay, this is what I'm looking for. What. What. What is your expertise? How long have you been doing it?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, somebody in the chat just said they got content for our age group. It's called hgtv.
Unknown Speaker
All right. Oo, it's time we got. Bringing a segment back. We hadn't had this segment of the R. It's time for rough draft.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You finna lose?

Check out behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego Football Club. We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved.
Shannon Sharpe
San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team. We need veteran players and we need young players. Like you're building a team from scratch and so the succession plan of long term success needs to be defined. We need to embrace this community. When I was 13, my uncle took me to to a qualifier and we watched Paraguay against Chile pouring rain. Just watching the fans jumping up and down, I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me. Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life.
Greg Rosenthal
Listen to San Diego FC behind the flow now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast.
Unknown Speaker
You see today is prompt by the top five snacks that slap at 2am.

Unknown Speaker
No. Cause I ain't up at 2am so I don't know what slap sleep don't slap me so I'm out. Absolutely right.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
This is the part. This is why it's so important to date to date women with kids. Because in order to know what slapped at 2am you have to have someone that has kids because you never know what slaps unless they have food in the pantry and single women never have food in the pantry. So you never know what slapped at 2am if you're digging somebody that don't have no kids. I. But anyway. Come on, let's go.
Unknown Speaker
You up first.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What? I'm choosing from.
Unknown Speaker

Unknown Speaker
No, we don't. All right, now it's time for. For your segment. Oo. Now it's time for spello.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You ain't tell me we were spelling tonight. I would have got a haircut.
Unknown Speaker
That's all right. Where your head at?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I don't even know where my head's at, man.
Unknown Speaker
All right, Ocho. Your first word is silhouette. The dark shape and outline of someone or something visible against a lighter background, especially in dim light. Silhouette.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)

P A R A. Now, this is where it gets tricky, because I don't know if it's a F or a P. Paraphernalia. Matter of fact, I think it's a P because I know paraphernalia. If I'm not mistaken, I saw it in the dictionary. When it comes to talk about illegal. Illegal substances, paraphernalia. P R A P H E. Nope. That don't even sound right. Hold on. Work with me. Work with me. Para. P a R a P H A E. Nail in it, you know? N E L I A. I don't know. It's probably wrong.
Unknown Speaker
P a R. P H E R N A L I A. Far off, huh? Yeah. Hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics. A character used in a system of pictorial writings. Particular that form used in ancient Egypt.

Unknown Speaker
H I E R O G L Y P H I C S. Hieroglyphics.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What did it. What? That's what I just said. Please tell me that's not what I just said.
Unknown Speaker
You said H y. You. The Y is I. Oh, swat.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
So you couldn't just give me that because I put an I instead of Y.
Unknown Speaker
Epilepsy. A disorder which. A nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures. Epilepsy.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, now that's. Now, that's a difficult one. Now I know epilepsy. It starts with an E. I know that part. E.P. ePA. E.P.A. l.E.P. oh, I don't. Yeah. I don't know this one.
Unknown Speaker
I. I'm E. P I L E P S. Yeah, Epilepsy.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That one. Damn. My bad.
Unknown Speaker
The last word. Gnome. A legendary dwarfish creature supposed to guard the Earth's treasures underground.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Is it known G, N, O, M, E. G, N, M, G, N, O, M, E. Yeah, I know that.
Unknown Speaker
I know that.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
From the video game. Yeah.
Unknown Speaker
Use two for five.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
No, actually, listen, you could have. You could have given me that one with. What was it where I put an I a Y instead of an I?
Unknown Speaker
You weren't close. You were. You. You was off, way off. Even after. Even after the wide and the I use off. All right, Ocho, now it's time for dunk.

Unknown Speaker
I don't know that.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What you mean you don't know that? No. You don't want to give a guess?
Unknown Speaker
No.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay. All right, we're gonna go to the next one. You owe for one. You ready? How many receptions and receiving TDs does John Elway have in his career? How many receiving TD receptions and receiving TDs?
Unknown Speaker

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Come on, Unc. You're not even trying because you asking.
Unknown Speaker
Me stuff that ain't no trivia. You. Oh, what. What's the. What's the. How many games did the Nuggets win in 1997?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, but I asked you, a quarterback. How many. How many touchdowns, how many receptions and receiving yards does John that way have in his career?
Unknown Speaker
Bro, John was there eight. Jab was down there. There. Well, hold on. I got there. John was there eight years before I got there. I will say he had six receptions, two touchdowns.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I mean, you.
Unknown Speaker
You.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Listen, he had three receptions, 11 TDS.
Unknown Speaker
How you gonna have 11 TDS on three catches?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oo, I. I'm saying tot. How many receptions, receiving TDs has in his career?
Unknown Speaker
You said he had three receptions, 11 TDs. How can you have 11 TDs on three receptions?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He ran them in. Huh? He ran them in.
Unknown Speaker
Ocho. Receipts downs mean you caught the ball. You said how many receptions and how many receiving touchdowns did he have?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, shoot, that.
Unknown Speaker
You said three receptions and 11 touchdowns.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Huh? Oh, that's. Oh, that's one TD. Oh, my bad.
Unknown Speaker
Don't worry about Ocho. Go ahead.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
No, I'm reading it wrong, Chad.
Unknown Speaker
Y' all see what I'm up against? Y' all see what I'm up against? Chat.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I told y', all I got one good eye. It's three receptions, one td. My bad. My bad.
Unknown Speaker
Well, look at it. With. Look at it with the good eye.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Okay, you ready?
Unknown Speaker

Unknown Speaker
How many touchdowns?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Wow.
Unknown Speaker

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You know what? You good. You're good. You got that right. You got that right. It was Matt Ryan. Matter of fact, Matt Ryan in 2016. That is the year for those stats. Okay.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, you thought you gonna slip one pass. Okay, you thought you gonna slip one pass up?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)

Name the players that make top five all time three point made lists. Name the five players that make the top three pointers of all time. That's not. That's not that hard.
Unknown Speaker

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I don't know the answer you were looking for. The players that make up top 5 all time 3 point made list is Steph Curry, James Harden, Ray Allen, Damian Lillard, and Meg. The Stallions. Klay Thompson.

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Which three NFL draft pick selections are tied for the most hall of Famer selected at seven inductees?
Unknown Speaker
Repeat what you said again.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Which three NFL draft pick selections are tied for the most hall of Famer select selected at seven inductees. Wait, am I supposed to read these?
Unknown Speaker
The draft class? Oh, oh, oh, okay.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
God damn. I'm reading it just how it is right off the deck now.
Unknown Speaker
So what selection?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, I. Okay, I get it now. I get. I get it. I get it. Oh, yeah.
Unknown Speaker
I think number one overall has. Is. Is one because they got O.J. elway, Manning, Bradshaw, Aikman. I want to say Starbuck was the number one draft pick, but he went to the military.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Who else?
Unknown Speaker
Eli's not in the hall yet.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Which three draft pick selections are tied for the most hall of Famer selection selected?
Unknown Speaker
So you're asking which selection has the.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Most hall of Famers have? Is it number one overalls? Is it the two overalls or the.
Unknown Speaker
I'm gonna say number one.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And matter. Is, is that. Is it the number one Ash, would it be the number one or. Yes. Oh, okay. Okay. This is. This is the good one right here. Yeah, it's. It's three that are tied. So.
Unknown Speaker
So how many.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
How many is one, right? Number one has Earl Campbell, John Elway, Steve Young, Bruce Smith, Troy Aikman, Orlando Pace, Peyton Manning. So that's what, seven ante?
Unknown Speaker
The number one overall draft pick, and I think it was 1970.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Did I say Terry? No. So what's that? That's eight people, then. All right, we're gonna. We gonna. We gonna. We gonna let you have that one. We're gonna let you have that one.
Unknown Speaker
But Terry Bradshaw was selected number one overall. Hold on, let me look this up. I'm almost certain that he was.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Nah, we ain't, Ash. We not giving him that. He ain't get it right. You got, you. You want. He won for four. I'm. I'm winning tonight.
Unknown Speaker
Terry Bradshaw joined the Steelers in 1970, the number one overall draft pick. Go ahead, Ocho.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You ready? Okay. This is a good one. You should know this. You should know this name ductees of the 2024 Black college football hall of Fame class.
Unknown Speaker
Man, I ain't even know they had the class yet.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
What you mean? It's 22? No, we in 2020.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, my goodness.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, I ain't even know some of these.
Unknown Speaker
Huh?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I ain't even know some of these. Wait, Antoine Patel. I ain't know that.
Unknown Speaker
Antoine. But they played with the play with the Oilers, with the coach.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, you. Yeah. No, 41. Yeah, man, I. I can't even begin to guess. I'mma say Albert Lewis, Tyrone Pool.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
We got Lamar Parish, Lincoln University, Eddie. Eddie Hurt. Morgan State University, obviously. Antoine Bethea. I ain't even know Antoine with the goddamn Howard. You knew that.
Unknown Speaker
No, I did not. Oo. I was gone with these guys.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, Joe. Joe Adam. Joe747.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, Joe747.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You knew that?
Unknown Speaker
Yeah, Joe, because, oo, the thing is, black college, most of them had nicknames. The really good players. Jeff Jefferson, Street Joke. And you had Gary Big. You had Ernie Ladd, the Big Cat. Gary Big Hand Johnson. You had Willie Sugar Bear Lanier. You had. They had a quarterback name. Guess what his name was. Ocho nickname. The Lord's Prayer.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
For real. What his name was?
Unknown Speaker
I forget his name, but you can look it up. The Lord's Prayer. That was the name.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
For real.
Unknown Speaker
The Lord's Prayer. Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I like that.
Unknown Speaker
I like that. Oh, in black College, you had, you know, like, Steve McNeil. Yeah. Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I like on here. I wonder if this is Coach Huntley. That was my linebacker coach in Cincinnati, Ricky Huntley. Oh, it's Rick. It says Richard Hunt.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. I mean, Winston Salem. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The Rams.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, that was dope. Lamar Parrish, Lincoln University.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. A lot of them guys might. I'm trying to find this game's name.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
So you went. You went. You went one for. You went one for five, one for six.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. All right, Ocho. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. Oh, yeah. Apache hall said, Uncle Nocho, first and foremost. Welcome back. I was wondering, what is the biggest thing you two fear? Minus spiders. Eight legs is just too much for any creature.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Biggest thing. Well, what you feel? Huh?
Unknown Speaker
Well, I ain't in the woods no more. I mean, considering that you grew up in the woods, there's not a whole lot. Spiders, the last thing you spear. Snakes. You don't fear snakes.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I don't care about no snakes.
Unknown Speaker
I'm trying to think, what would I be afraid of?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
And that's a good question. I'm trying to think.
Unknown Speaker
It is. Ocho.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Damn.
Unknown Speaker
Damn. How about this here, people?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's a good one.
Unknown Speaker
Do you know how many times my grandmother called. We got the snakes. We don't found snakes in the clock. We have rat snakes in the closet. Because if you got rats, you're gonna have snakes. Snakes. Trying to come in on the screen. Trying to come in on the screen door, son. Here he is. Come get him. You could not. So you had to pull his ass down. Because you can't, you know, put a hole in the screen.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's a great question. Because I. I can't think it is.
Unknown Speaker
Oh. Because I. I'm like. I'm not really, like, afraid of, like.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
In the country, obviously. I grew up in the city. I had.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
With iguanas in Miami. Alligators I had to deal with, obviously. Roach. In. In. In the house. Growing up, you're used to that. And then obvious. You see dogs all the time.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Horses.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. Ultra. I'm not really. I'm not really afraid. Garter snakes, even though they're not animals that, you know. When we grew up in the country, we saw all the time. And we had to deal. Deal with. We had to deal with spiders. We had to deal with, you know, hate flies, nasty mofos.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah. I don't know.
Unknown Speaker
I gotta think about it. I gotta really sit down and think about what I'm actually afraid of. Charles Howard said it's Pretty messed up that Teddy Bridgewater got suspended for doing the exact same thing that John Kitner did for his alma model Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. Continued success on Kanocho.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yes. Unfortunate.
Unknown Speaker
He a booster.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Unknown Speaker
So the booster used to buy us, you know, used to buy us dinners. He ain't. He ain't an employee. He ain't an employee. He ain't getting paid, is he?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I don't think Teddy was getting paid either, huh?
Unknown Speaker
That's what I'm saying.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
He wasn't. It just.
Unknown Speaker
Man, get that man the job back and let him do something good for these kids. Lanny Ray said. Hey, guys. Glad you're back. I'm gonna be homeless, staying with my family for five weeks until I close on my new house. So I gotta know, what's your favorite and least favorite thing about moving?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Oh, I like.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, moving.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, listen, I love moving. Oh, I. I don't listen, I love moving. And. And start new, starting fresh.
Unknown Speaker
Oo, you gotta realize. Oo you moving from Miami to cross the street. You ain't did. No, you gotta. When you move from. When you move from Denver to Baltimore, Baltimore back to Denver, Denver to Atlanta, Atlanta to LA, Atlanta, LA. To Vegas. That's a different type of movement.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
My moving is like 20, 30 minutes away. That's it.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. Packing. I ain't doing nothing. I'm hiring somebody to do all that. It cost you a little bit more, but they'll pack everything. They label everything.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Yeah.
Unknown Speaker
Plates, lamps, bed, framing pictures, silverware, Tupperware, pots, pans, linens, clothing. Ta da.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Done.
Unknown Speaker
And they unpack it and they take the boxes away. Thank you very much, Kevin Norwood. Judy said. I saw start cut bench is Luca. Jimmy Butler. Tyrese Halliburton. My question. Well, I mean, bro. Luca starting over.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Over. Wait a minute. Who was again? Luca.
Unknown Speaker
Start cut bench, Luca. Jimmy Butler. Tyrese Halliburton. You start, Luke over Jimmy Halliburton. It's easy because Tyrese Halliburton injured now. So you start.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
You starting. Luca over. Over. Jimmy Butler.
Unknown Speaker
Man, stop. Cal Simpson said you retired as a Bronco Ocho. A bingo. Was Von Miller going to retire as all 32 teams? He's going to the hall as the entire shield. Either. Either way, he's the truth. Love the show. Well, actually, it's not like baseball, where you have to choose a cap to go on the. The plaque. In football, they put all the teams that you play for, the Broncos, the Rams, the Bills, and now the. The Commanders. So all of those teams will be on his plat. T for real. The majority said nightcap family. Love y' all with all my heart. God and pops heard the prayers. They are allowing my family and I to retain my dad's estate. I'm so blessed and grateful. I know he's proud. Peace. Good job. I'm glad you're able to to hold on to that and take care of it. Elgato says Ocho having to debate whether what was better, Esther's or Jackson's and the miracle.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's a good one. Listen, Esther's was nice, man. Esther was nice. I used to go to Esther's right here off 45th and 7th Avenue when it was here across the street from. From the corner store. Oh, that's a good one. That's super good. I still go to Jackson's in Overtown. Now we gotta I what was the other two? He just said Ss and Jacksons.
Unknown Speaker
Ss and Jacksons and hold on. I had to scroll back. Miracles or shakers?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I ain't never had miracles. I ain't never had shakers. I. I mean, if you see matter.
Unknown Speaker
Of fact in I'm assuming that I.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Haven'T had it no mlk, you might well throw MLK in there. And I crave, you know, shakers. I. I don't know. I don't know what. I don't know what the mother two is.
Unknown Speaker
Deshaun Allen said, what's up, uncle no show? My question is, was it hard learning the playbook during your rookie season? Absolutely. That was harder to move because like I said, the they install one day, and if you get left behind, you left behind because they moving on to install the next day, and they moving on to the installation the next day. You absolutely. That all that verbiage.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Mine was easy, man.
Unknown Speaker
I'm used to a 636 or 574.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's what made it so easy for me, though, because it was the number system. So regardless of what they call, you know, 268, a628, you know, you got got to dig back. You got to dig front side. You got the post back side and the little flat by the. Yeah, it was. It was easy.
Unknown Speaker
Yeah. I didn't. That playbook. That playbook had. You had me twisted in knots. But I ain't never been afraid to ask no questions, man.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
I.
Unknown Speaker
Hey, man, they send me emotional. I get halfway through, hey, hey, man, what I got again?
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Hey, listen, it's better to ask before you mess it up. Going full speed.
Unknown Speaker
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hey, hey, you know what you got? No, I'll be. Hey, hey. I told you, man. They put me in motion, so. And John told me what I had to do, man. I said, man, I gotta learn this, man. I mean, I go home, I spend four, five hours until I go to bed learning, learning, learning. Whole off season, I'm learning the plays. I'm just going over, just. I said, I got. I got to know it just like he know it, just like he know it.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
That's the best thing the bet. The. The more. The better you know your playbook, the faster you could play all you got.
Unknown Speaker
Exactly.
Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco)
Because you know, doing is just reading and reacting.
Unknown Speaker

Club Shay Shay Episode Summary
Nightcap - Hour 2: Lloyd Howell RESIGNS from NFLPA + Dame returns to Portland
Release Date: July 18, 2025
Host: Shannon Sharpe
Produced by: iHeartPodcasts and Shay Shay Media
The episode opens with breaking news about Lloyd Howell's resignation as the Executive Director of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). Chad Johnson, also known as Ocho Cinco, takes the lead in discussing the implications of Howell stepping down.
Johnson passionately argues that Howell's departure opens the door for a more player-centric leadership. He emphasizes the need for representation that fights for players' long-term welfare, not just immediate perks.
He criticizes the current NFLPA leadership for focusing on what he perceives as trivial negotiations, such as practice time and minor privileges, instead of securing substantial benefits like guaranteed lifetime health coverage.
Johnson also highlights the challenges faced by the majority of NFL players who have short career spans and limited financial security post-retirement. He stresses the importance of negotiating terms that protect players beyond their playing years.
The discussion shifts to the effectiveness of current NFLPA leadership, with Johnson expressing his disappointment.
Johnson advocates for his vision of the NFLPA, emphasizing a hands-on approach and commitment to real change.
The conversation transitions to player performance, specifically focusing on Anthony Richardson and his struggle with completion rates.
Chad Johnson critiques Richardson's performance, questioning his ability to sustain a long-term career in the NFL based on his current statistics.
He contrasts Richardson's potential with established players, arguing that without tangible results, potential alone is insufficient for success in the league.
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to Damian "Dame" Lillard's return to the Portland Trail Blazers. Chad Johnson expresses his enthusiasm and support for the move.
The hosts discuss the potential impact of Lillard's return on the team's dynamics and their championship aspirations. They draw parallels between Lillard's situation and that of Kevin Garnett, highlighting the importance of being in the right environment to realize one’s full potential.
Johnson is optimistic about Lillard's future performance and the positive influence he will have on the team and the community.
The hosts delve into the integration of content creators into traditional sports, using YouTube megastar Grant Horvat's decision to boycott the PGA Tour Barracuda Championship as a case study.
Chad Johnson advocates for embracing the digital era by allowing content creators to document their participation in sports events, believing it can attract a younger and more diverse audience.
He proposes creating content tailored to older demographics, suggesting innovative approaches to engage different age groups and expand the reach of traditional sports.
The episode features interactive segments where Chad Johnson engages with listeners through spelling and trivia games, adding a fun and light-hearted element to the discussion.
