B
But we gotta talk about Boost.
A
Huh?
B
We gotta talk about Boost, man.
A
Okay, we get to that. Alabama held off number 14, Missouri, 2724, to give the Crimson Tide their fifth consecutive win. Ty Simpson threw for 200 yards, three touchdowns, including a clincher on fourth down to Daniel Hill with 316 to go jam. Miller added 85 yards rushing before leaving the game with a concussion in the fourth quarter. Alabama has won seven straight over Missouri, dating back to September 8, 1975. Man, look, I haven't been able to watch all the quarterbacks play, but it's hard for me to say that the quarterback playing better than Ty Simpson. Now, he don't have the gotty numbers. He's not throwing for three, 400 yards, but, boy, he doing an unbelievable job of getting the ball out of his hand at Ocho. I don't know what's going on with Ryan Williams, but we might need to have an intervention.
B
Ocho, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. What happened to him today? That's another game. I can't get no Alabama games out here.
A
One target, no catch.
B
Wait, well, that. That's not on him, is it? That's not on him. They have to get him involved in the game.
A
He's there a lot of times. A lot of times he's been retrieving lately. Ocho, they've been throwing it to him. He dropped it. He pick it up and hand it to the official.
B
Okay, okay.
A
I mean, you watch the game. Don't do that.
B
Now. I see. Yeah, I've seen. I've seen the past games, you know.
A
Yeah, but.
B
But he's their most dynamic playmaker.
A
He can't be dynamic if he dropping the ball.
B
He's electric.
A
We're basing that on what we saw last year. Has he been dynamic and electric this year?
B
He showed flashes of it, but he's had inconsistency with the drop, though. He's had inconsistencies with those drops.
A
I'm making $2 million a year, Ocho. I need consistency, right? See, now, we can. We can call like we see it because we like Ocho. Hey, man, look here. He 18 he don't look he 18, but he making 2 million. We used to say all the time, ocho, man, they don't get paid. They getting paid now.
B
Okay, okay.
A
So we get to judge them a little more. A little more harsh.
B
Harsher. A little different.
A
And the critique needs to be a little more firm than what has been in the years past. Ty Simpson, 23 or 31, 200 yards, 44. They had 44 carries for 125. When you got a guy that dynamic, freshman, all American, and he doesn't even show up on the statue, don't you. Something going on? I don't know what is something going on? I don't know where his head is. Something. I don't know if he's having issues at home. I don't know if he's having issues at school, but something you don't. You don't have this kind of precipitous drop without something bothering you.
B
I'm gonna talk. I'm gonna talk to him. I'm gonna talk to him. I'm giving a nice little call. Nice little call. Nice nice little car. I'm gonna talk to him because there's no reason, obviously, when what you did your freshman year was unbelievable, not only did you leave high school early.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, you looked like you was basically number one and two. It was out of you. And Jeremiah Smith is the best guy in college football last year. So whatever's going on, I'm going to reach out to him and talk to him. Because you expect. Expectations are high now. We expect you to build off what you did last year.
A
Yes.
B
So I. I'm not sure what it.
A
Is, but, you know, people's like, well, he's injured, he's injured. We'll sit out. You're not doing them any good if you. Ocho, this is what I tell people. If you can't have the same impact that you have if you're not injured, you shouldn't go out there injured because you go out there and you don't do nothing.
B
Right.
A
Tell me how that helped. He didn't help them win today. So if you can't help them win, Ocho, I'm just trying to figure out, what are you doing? What are we doing?
B
I say something real quick about that, too. You know, some players, even when they're not 100%, they're 80 or 85%, is better than other players at 100. And I. I see. I view Ryan Williams based on his skill set, his DNA and his makeup as a receiver. Even him being at 80 and 85% is still better than other teams receivers at full strength.
A
Boy, Horton and Brooks been playing better than he has this year with you. Listen, if we had this conversation last year, Ocho, I said, oh, you got me dead to right.
B
Yeah, but I, I have no argument with that. I, I can't, I can't argue that fact.
A
So hopefully you have a conversation with.
B

Number five, Texas A&M. Continue this perfect start with a 3417 win over Florida. Marcel Reed threw for 234 yards, a touchdown and ran for another score. It's the first six zero start for the Aggies since 2016. They improved the three and oh in the SEC conference. Aggies look good. I know.
B
Hey, Johnny went to that game. He was there.
A
Don't start me the line.
B
He probably was. They probably showed. They showed off for him. They showed off for him.
A
Let's see here. See what it looking like. See these stats looking like. Yeah, but they look good. Look, I and DJ Langway didn't play bad. 21 to 37, 2:45, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions because you couldn't run the ball. Marcia Reed was 16 of 26, 234, one touchdown, one reception. They ran the ball 42 times for a buck 83 and three touchdowns. I don't know what happened to Florida. I don't know what happened.
B
You just played good last week, huh?
A
But how did they play the week before that and the week before that?
B
It was bad.
A
Exactly. That's my point. But Ocho, they 2 and 4, they played Texas A and M. Ocho, they were 2 and 3 before they played Texas A and M. So they had more losses to win even before they played Texas A and M. That's my point.
B
Oh, yeah. No, it has messed up.
A
No, but they got. Look, there's a lot of heat on Billy Napier. I don't know how he survived this. I don't know if he can hold on to this job.
B
You can only do so much from coaching on the sideline. If you don't have the players compete against the Power 5 schools or the better schools, they got that money, as you know. Texas AM got that money. So they have the better players. Most will say, well, it comes down to coaching. Well, there's only so much coaching can do if the players on the other opposing team are better than the players that you have. Coaching can't. Coach ain't gonna solve that. He's just better than us at individual positions. That's what it comes down to if we want to be detailed and nitpick.
A
Turnover. They had. They fumbled it four times. Florida did, and they lost two of them. Langway lost fumble twice, lost one. V. Brown the third, lost one. It's just. I don't. I don't know. I mean, I think. I think the thing is, is that what has happened is that we've allowed people, we've allowed the media to, to form this. Like, Florida's gonna be good and Laneway's gonna be this and that and, and we bought into it. I'm missing something. I just don't see. It's like all the quarterbacks oo that they hyped this year coming into this year. Yeah, I ain't seen it.
B
It ain't. It ain't. Well, hold on. Have there been any quarterbacks that just jump off the screen this year at all? No. None. And I mean that in a respectful way. Nobody's like, oh my goodness, you know what? He's the first round pick. He's the first pick to go in the. No, there's nothing like that. There's no, there's no, there's no Cam Newton. There's no, there's no CJ Stroud. There's, there's no Jaden Daniels. There's nothing like that. Nothing.
A
I think the thing is Ocho, look, we're six weeks into the season and ain't nobody mentioned about no Heisman.
B
No, not, not at all.
A
Not a, Nobody said nothing about no Heisman. Right now me and you got a better chance of winning the Heisman. I mean I, I mean if, if we go back and look at it. Ty Simpson, he don't have great stats but they play well. He doesn't turn the ball over a bunch. I think the guy. Notre Dame have another big day today. But I mean Chad, do y' all know something I don't know? Who, who, who's the Highland front runner? Drew Aller. He's hurt but he was playing terrible. What about Langway? He's playing terrible about Carson Beck. Out of my mouth maybe. Carson Beck?
B
Yeah.
A
Haynes, King. I don't know but it's just like I just expected more from Florida, but Texas A and M is rolling. All that money they've been pumping into that organization Ocho is probably paying is finally paying off. It's finally coming to fruition. Yeah, Jimbo's like man, they like Jimbo. We gave you opportunity after opportunity. Walk on. Running back King Miller powers hard nosed USC to a 3113 victory over Michigan. King rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns. And Jada Maya Maya passed for 265 yards and two touchdowns. Despite playing without two starting offensive linemen, USC won a hard nose Big Ten football that included 224 yards rushing, most from a tailback so far down the depth chart against the nation's seventh ranked run defense. Look, if you're going to beat Michigan, you got to be able to run the football. They hard note, they blue collar. They try to punish you running the football and they try not to let you run the football on them and USC game.
B
USC beat Michigan at their own game.
A
Yep.
B
I, I, I, I, I hate to say this but when I view usc, I view USC as a finesse team. I view my team not. No, no, no, no. Physical, I mean there's physicality in the game of football in general. But you don't view USC as that. You just don't. They always have, they always have a nice running back and they always have nice receivers and they gonna throw that thing all over the place r walk through that door. But what they had tonight in the running game was damn good. You beat Michigan at their own game.
A
Yeah, I just don't what's he used to. He was USC. He was OU's offensive coordinator. Took the USC job and he's had different coordinators. He's tried some of everything. And for whatever reason, they good offensively. Yeah, they can put points on the board, but hell, they can't stop anybody. Michigan quarterback as a freshman, Underwood and Bryce Underwood had 15 to 24, 207, two touchdowns, one interception. His receiver March 8 for 138, a touchdown. But USC in the. In the Coliseum, they get it done. What's USC's record? 5. Oh, USC 5 and 1. Ocho.
B
Yeah, I forgot. I forgot who they lost to.
A
Yeah, they 5 and 1. But we'll see. Remains to be seen. Because I. I don't trust their defense. I don't. Because normally what happens when you expect them to do something? They defense lay an egg and they give up 50 points.
B
Listen, what they defense did tonight, they did.
A
Bishop made two interceptions. And the highlighted strong effort by the UFC's defense. Is Dalen Lynn still the DeAnton, still the DC at USC? Oh, shoot.
B
I don't know.
A
As check and see if Dean Lynn is still the D.C. i remember when. I remember when he was a little kid. That's Anthony Lynn's son.
B
Anthony Lynn?
A
Yeah, the coach. A Lynn. He used to coach the Chargers.
B
Huh? Oh, the head coach.
A
Yeah. Okay.
B
Okay, okay, okay. What Mr. Lynn at. Mr. Lynn. The coaching somewhere.
A
He and the commanders. I think he's with the Commanders.
B
Okay, okay, okay.
A
Yeah. What.
B
What position? What position? Coach. I'm sure he positioned.
A
I think assistant head coach or. And running backs coach or something in the ash. Check and see where Anthony Lynn is. I know he's at the Commanders, but I don't know. I think he's assistant head coach. Okay. Cause he was with. He was with a. A Kyle at. In. At the 49ers.
B
Okay. Oh, Mr. Lynn. Yeah, that's dope.
A
I think that's. I think that he's a what coach. Okay. Run game coordinator and running backs coach. I knew he was in there, but that's. Look, normally, for the most part, if you've been in that Shanahan tree, they're gonna take care of you.
B
Absolutely.
A
Whether it's Sean McVeigh, whether it's Kyle Shanahan, whether it's any of those guys, they're gonna find a place for you.
B
Yeah, absolutely. You know what? That's why I'm not worried about if they let our coach go down there in Miami.
A
Oh, you'll get a job. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
And it's one. You know, that coaching, that coaching carousel, that coaching tree in general. They take care of each other.
A
Yeah, for sure.
B
They take care of each other.
A
Yep.
B
I. I just would hate to have to be a coach and have to uproot my family and my kids, you know, every three years because things don't go well. That's the only part I don't like. Not very many coaches have been fortunate, like Bill Belichick or Andy stay one play for two.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Or you get tired to get like a. A Joe Gibbs that stayed somewhere. A coach Cower. A Mike Tomlin, a Chuck. No, A Tom Landry. Don Shuler. Think about how long Coach Shula was in Miami.
B
Miami. Yeah.
A
That doesn't happen.
B
That doesn't. I don't like that. That's the only part of coaching I don't like.
A
Bad. But Andy. Andy Reid.
B
Now, how long was Andy Reid in Philly?
A
He did more.99 until he's about 12. He's about 13 years.
B
That's a good. That's a. That's a good.
A
About 11. 12. About 12, I think. 12 or 13. And so because he's coached. He's coached 200 games in both places. He's the first coach to win, I think, to coach at least that many games in two places. And he has a 100 wins in both places. Damn. Yeah. 14 in Philly. 13K. Yep.
B
Jesus.
A
Yeah, because what. He came in with Donovan in 99 and so 12, and then he picked right up. So I think he got the job in Philly. I think he got the job in Kansas City right after he got, you know, let go. And I got the job in Kansas City right after he got let go in Philly.
B
And he's. You know what's funny? Everywhere coach is gone, he's always had a squad. He's always had elite talent. McNabb to Todd Pinkson, Freddie Mitchell.
A
Boy, stop. Boy. You mention some names and you ain't got nothing to do with no goddamn elite talent.
B
You know, Tio McNabb to.
A
Okay, T o. Okay, go ahead.
B
Oh, the supporting cast. Brian Mitchell.
A
No, no, Brian Mitchell was there.
B
Not Brian Mitchell. What's 32 name, huh?
A
You talk about. No, you talk about Westbrook.
B
Westbrook. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Westbrook. Then you go to.
A
You did not say Freddie Mitchell.
B
You don't like Freddie Mitchell?
A
Chad, this man said Freddie Mitchell was elite.
B
Hey, Freddie. Freddie was that man.
A
Freddie Fred X. And then you said Todd Pinkster.
B
That's a good supporting cast, huh?
A
Man, you know what? They call. You know what they call? Look, you know what they call Todd Pinkston, what they call Todd?
B
He was just tall.
A
They took the P out and put st in. So don't do that, Ocho. Don't do that.

It took less than a round for Boots Innis to bring the official 154 pound debut to a thunderous close. Ennis 35 wins, 0 losses 31 by Kale the former Unified Welterweight Championship send a loud and clear message to the junior middleweight division by scoring two knockdowns in route to a first round tko. Portugal. I ain't gonna try to say his first name. Last name is Lima. I sent a big message in the said, you already know what time it is. You know who I want next. The likely next the long anticipated showdown between Virgil Ortiz if he gets past Eric Lubin. Erickson Lubin in November.
B
Yeah. Hey listen, I'm excited. You know how much I love the the sport of box. You know how much I love the sweet science and understand exactly what I'm watching. Some people will say, oh, boots hadn't for anybody, but everyone has to build their resume to get to the big fights. You have to fight fighters to build your resume to get to the big fights. The big fight, obviously, is Virgil Ortiz. Boots called out some very interesting names after winning tonight. He called out Charlo, he called out Xander Zayas. He called, he called out. There's. There's one more guy. I don't know how to pronounce his last name. Bakarat. I don't know how to say it the right way, but again, the money fight, the mega fight, is Virgil Ortiz. Now where Oscar De La Hoya. Will Oscar De La Hoya not hide him, you know, and allow him to duck Boots? It would be a phenomenal fight. Understanding. I, I predicted if you watched Leon fight in the past, you understood this is probably how the fight was going to go. I didn't think it would end this early based on the, based on what we saw from, from him in the past. But Virgil Ortiz is really, is really no different. Great fighter, superb fighter. Obviously, he keeps that same high guard that Lima had tonight, and it can be trouble for him going to this fight against Boots if and when it ever does happen. Boots is, is too skilled, being able to fight on the inside, being able to fight from distance, being able to switch at any point. So I, I can't wait. I'm excited. And I think the only person right now who can give Boots a problem, who can give Boots an issue and give the fans what they deserve in the ring, and that's probably me. That, that. That's probably me. I'm just, I'm just gonna be honest.
A
With you, like, clean your clock.
B
Who, me? I'm probably on. I'm probably the only one who, who isn't scared of Boots, who's been in the ring with him multiple times sparring that could probably. I, I give him, I give him that work, though.
A
You ain't, you ain't beating the 140.
B
Oh, man. Man, please. But hey, Boots, I know you probably. Hey, Boots, I know you're gonna probably see this, man. Congratulations. Listen, all, all the hard work, obviously you put in through, through camp. I knew you had one hell of a camp coming off. Sparring with Canelo, preparing him for Bud is probably why you looked as sharp and, and it's sharp and as solid as you did tonight. Kudos. Congratulations. If any point you want to bring me in the camp when you, when you do start, when you sign that contract with Virgil Ortiz to get that fight going, you need, you need an extra body. I can get in there and beat your ass. So, yeah, that's it.
A
Yeah. Look, I mean, I'm with you, Ocho. I want to see guys fight. I understand guys want to protect they, you know, and build up and make some money, but it didn't used to be like that.
B
No, it did.
A
That's what. But you see, Ocho, this is why the guys in the modern time, they don't get the credit that they deserve because they don't really fight anybody. And by the time they fight them, they're past their prime. That's why the guys hold Sugar Ray and Hagler and all those fighters still hold them in such high regards. And they question some of the guys that fight today because even though they got losses, they're still willing to put them in front of people. They got undefeated records.
B
Yeah. This is the funny thing you think about boxing back then is you having a loss or you having two losses. It still doesn't affect your purse. It still doesn't expect your payday. But when you lose in today's era of boxing, you can't. You can't maximize your purse, you can't maximize your potential and getting mega fights because you have that, that, that one loss or two losses. That's just, that's unfortunate in just the way the game of boxing is now. And I think now it didn't affect.
A
Tommy Hearns, even though when he fought Hagler, he had lost to Sugar Ray.
B
That's a long time ago.
A
But I'm saying, if you fight top fighters. No, I don't want to. I do not want to see you. If you somebody. I don't want to see you fighting no name. No. I wanted to see Hagler fight Hearns. I wanted to see Hearns fight Duran. I wanted to see Duran fight Sugar Ray. I wanted to see Iran Barkley fight Hearns. I would. And you was in the 70 with the heavyweights. You wanted to see Norton fight Foreman and they fight Shavers, and they fight Frazier, and they fight Ali and they fought Ron Lyle. You wanted to see that. Ocho ain't. What? No ducking. Right?
B
You're right. I mean, I, I really wouldn't call it ducking. I call it building your resume to a point where you can maximize your purse for that mega fight and maximize as much as you can get before you take that chance. See, back then, they were willing to take chances.
A
That's the only way you can be great.
B
Yeah, you write the only way you can break now, you, you take chances when the timing is right.
A
Oh, so you got. So let me. I'm trying to figure out who gets into the fight game saying, I'm going undefeated.
B
This is prize fighting, huh?
A
I understand.
B
Let me, let me finish. When it comes to prize fighting in this day and age, you understand the importance of being undefeated. You understand the importance of being undefeated. Not only being undefeated, but the timing being right to maximize the person which you can get before you take that chance against a fighter of equal talent on the same level where.
A
That's why boxing, you know.
B
So now, now's the time. Boost has done everything he needs to do. This was his introduction to the 154 Division. He called out all the top dogs at the 154 Division. He said when the fight ended, I'm ready for Virgil Ortiz. There's no excuses. There should be no ducking all Virgil to. They have to send, I think. Who would be the A side? Who would be the A side? Boots or Virgil?
A
Who got the belt?
B
Damn. That's a good question. Hey, Chad, check help me out a little bit.
A
Who's a. Whoever got the belt. If you come. He just getting to 154. Virgil Ortiz gonna be the A side. Oh, who cares?
B
I mean, you know, I mean, I mean a side matters when it comes to person and, and, and, and, and split.
A
That's all you want to make the fight happen, you call this man out. So if you call that man out, you know, you. If you call, he ain't call you out. So if you call him out, you already know you to be side.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Listen, it's just like, who did, who did. Who did Bud call out? He said, I want Canelo. How is he gonna go beat a side?
B
Okay, you right. Well, listen, Bud went out there and proved himself. Bud Aide now.
A
But here's the thing.
B
Bud gets a command how much he wants Bud next fight should be 100 million or more.
A
But here's the thing. What Bud did, Bud took a chance. Bud said, hey, you get you fighting. Anything can happen in a fight. Guys want to be safe. Guys want to fight cream puffs. And then when you say, well, you're not one of the top fighters all the time, what you mean? I'm undefeated. That's why. Yeah. That's why Bud Crawford gets the credit that he deserves. Because Bud is a three. A three division undisputed.
B
Yeah.
A
And he took with. Basically, he'd leave three weight classes to take on a man that was unblemished. And he's the only man to unify the 168 Division.
B
Yeah.
A
That's why Bud Crawford gets The cache and the love that he gets because Bud was willing to take chances these other guys wouldn't take and they won't take. I want to fight this guy. No, you don't. All you want to do is talk. So everybody say. Well, he said he want to fight him. Go sign the contract.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Bud took substantially less. Are probably 50 million less, maybe 75 million less than what Canelo got just to make that fight.
B
Yeah, yeah. And now. And now he's a side, huh? He's aide. The only problem. The only problem with Bud. Where the fuck do you. Oh, I'm sorry. My bad, my bad, my bad.
A
He can't fight nobody but Canelo.
B
Where do you go next?
A
Canelo rematch. Listen, Benavidez come down. Benavidez. I don't know if Benavidez want to come down to 168.
B
That wouldn't. No, no, that's. That's too much. That's. That's too much. That's too much. That's too much. But we wanted to see Bud in boots at 147. We wanted to see that. But there was. There was nothing in it at that time for Bud to be able to. To take, you know, that.
A
That he already beat Spence. What's do what he had already unified 147.
B
Exactly. So that unified 140.
A
Unified 147.
B
Yeah, we. We wanted to see. We wanted to see Boots vs. Virgil at 147. It never happened. The timing and when things happen now is the perfect timing. Boots showed out tonight at 154. Fight Lima 1 round out of there. He calls out. He called out Charlo. He called out Xander. Xander Zayas Prospect out of Puerto Rico. He nice. He real nice. But I. I'm excited. I'm excited. I hope Oscar Dollar Head Oscar De La Hoya doesn't hold things up and getting this fight done. And what month we in? We in. What were we in October? That. That fight should happen 10th month. That fight should happen somewhere early in January. What fight early in 26. Boots and Ortiz.
A
Nah, that fight, if he just fought, that ain't. That fight ain't happened until like April.
B
He just put him. Oh, wait.
A
Oh.
B
Or you right. You're right because Ortiz had the fight coming up against Eric.
A
Yeah, he fight in November. Hold on.
B
Wait a minute. Erickson. Lubin ain't no. Ain't no chump now, but I'm saying.
A
What happened till April or May.
B
Okay. Yeah, you're right.
A
You know, Oscar gonna probably want that. That fight on Cinco de Mayo. I'm just, I'm just talking, right? Yeah. But if you think about, oh, why do we hold? Look at Holyfield. Holyfield fought everybody. I'll fight Linus Lewis. I'll fight, I'll fight George Foreman. I'll fight, I fight Mike Tyson. You gotta fight. Oo, you get you, you gotta fight.
B
Yeah, yeah. Oh, listen, you had, you had, you had, you had Andre Ward explain it to you. Yes, they explain why it's like that today.
A
Because so, so when, when they, so I get it, make money. But when it come to come when it comes to ranking and where they put all time great fighters, your name on the list. Yeah, don't say nothing now. When it comes to ranking fighters that's made the most prize, made the most money, you'll be on that list. But I think if you're a professional athlete, you want to be considered one of the best.
B
Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. I mean, listen, that's great for conversational pieces. You know, having super bowl rings is great for conversational pieces. You know, having belts is great for conversational pieces and topics and barbershop talk. But man, man, them boys, they worry about that money, I bet.
A
I tell you what, I will ask Tom Brady. Say, Tom, would you rather have an extra 50 million or would you rather have those two Super bowl, those two Super bowl wins, that's that undefeated season.
B
You talk about a quarterback that's worth 400 million. Like, come on now, that's, that's, look.
A
Here, after you don't make. First of all, you made more money than you ever thought you would as a boxer because most of the time boxers come from impoverished conditions, just like you and I. Anything that I made over $2 was more than I ever thought I would make.
B
Exactly.
A
So now we've made millions. Now you. I didn't. Look, I wanted to make money long as I can get my grandmother out of the house. But I want to be a damn good football player. I wanted to be in a situation. I wanted to be in a situation that when people talked about the position, they talked about me or people in Denver would remember me. Right? That's what I wanted. Right. Yeah, you make money, but you, it's hard for me to get. So now, okay, you the wealthiest boxer in the world and, but nobody want to, Nobody talks about you. And everybody questions your legacy.
B
You, you think about, you think about Floyd. Floyd is the wealthiest box in the world. He still talked about, he still talked about.
A
But people still, but a lot of people still put, put Sugar Ray Robinson in front of him. A lot of people put Sugar Ray Leonard in front of him. A lot of people put Bud Crawford not in front of him. That shouldn't. It should be a no. A no. A no brainer.
B
You're right. But I don't think when, especially when it comes to Floyd, he's not worried about who they put.
A
No, no. But everybody can't be Floyd. Everybody's trying to be Floyd, but they're not gonna be Floyd.
B
No, that's the problem.
A
Ocho, I get it. Floyd is a very unique situation. Floyd need to be set aside. Stop looking at Floyd's career and how Floyd did what Floyd did. Look at your situation. You're not gonna be Floyd. Even if. Even if you end. If you end your career, 45. 0, 52 0, people ain't gonna think of you like Floyd.
B
Oh, matter of fact, great example, huh? Great example. Tank is fighting. Tank is fighting in the exhibition fight against Jake Paul.
A
Yes.
B
Why is he taking that fight? You think he worried about Frank? You think he's worried about. Who would know? No, it's. It's prize fighting. Making as much money as you can. Making as much money you can in that small wind of opportunity that you have to do as a boxer.
A
We should have been a boxer. Then you should have got some. Look, because you, you, you, you look, you don't. You don't. You don't play. You don't play bots. Because you could. You can. You could end your life. That could end your life. Boxers have died. Duke, what's the guy? Benny Perrette. Bernie Perrette. When he killed a guy. I think he killed a guy. Yeah.
B
Yeah, that's. It's dangerous in that, bro.
A
That's a dangerous sport, and you have to take risk. Ocho, when you go across, when you catch the slant, you're taking a risk.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
Slam's one of the most dangerous slams. Way more dangerous than a 9 route. You cut your teeth running the slant route. But that's what. That's what makes certain receivers unique.
B
Yeah.
A
And make them special. I just. Like I said, I. I want. Look, you got into this sport, you understood what this sport entail.
B
Yeah.
A
That's why boxing is dying. They keep up well. Why boxing dying? Because the greats won't fight. They won't. Shakur and Tank should be fighting like you said. Boosting innocent should boost, and Ortiz should be fighting.
B
It's coming, it's coming, it's coming.
A
But the problem is you got too many sanctuing bodies. You got the wbo, the wba, you got ring, you got the ibf, and you got. You got too many bodies. Just imagine if you had. If you had five football bodies. How the hell we gonna find out who the champion is?
B
Yeah, you right.
A
Everybody want to protect their fighter. Don't nobody want to see they fight or lose. Yeah, so I'm gonna protect it.
B
Hey, listen to me, honestly. Based on. Based on skill. Based on skill. And if you actually enjoy boxing, actually enjoy boxing and know what you're watching round by round, I'm not just about getting there and knocking people out. My. My favorite and most exciting fighters to watch, because I actually know what I'm watching. Obviously, Bud, is one watching Boots fight. And Shakur Stevenson. A lot of people say Shakur's fights are boring. They're not. They're not boring if you know exactly what you're watching.
A
Right?
B
He puts on a master class offensively and defensively. Every effing fight where he's on the inside, where the. Where he's at mid range. I mean, it's just. It's. It's like, how are you doing that? How are you. How are you doing it? Because I actually know what I'm watching. I understand the sweet science now. Where it's not. I'm just not in there waiting on a knockout. No. I'm seeing everything develop round by round. I'm seeing how they feel each other out. Okay, this ain't working. Well, I'm gonna do this in the first round, and I'm gonna see if it work in the fourth. Let's just. Nuances of it, man. I think people. When I hear people talk about fighters, oh, they ain't fighting nobody. I'm like. Like, I don't think y' all understand how difficult that sport is in general.
A
It is. But O. I remember when Shane Mosley fought Winky Wright fought Vernon Forest, and they fought this one and they fought that one. What? Nobody ducking. You had to fight Hagler, had to fight Hearns, Hearns had to fight Leonard. Leonard had to fight Duran and so forth and so on. You had to fight. Yeah, but you got all. You got the box sanctioning bodies, and you got the Zone, and you got Top Rank, and you got pbc, and you got this one and you got that one, and the WBC and the WBO and the WB this and the IBF and Ring Magazine. And I'mma protect my fighter because I got the golden goose as long as he undefeated and he with mine.
B
Y' all want, hey, you know who gonna make boxing great again? Goddamn Turkey. Goddamn Turkey. Turkey gonna get. Turkey gonna get them boys from hiding behind whatever they hiding behind. These coaches not gonna be able to hide them, because Turkey go throw that money, and it's gonna force you into taking a chance and fighting someone of equal talent that same level where you can. You can get yourself hurt. Something gonna happen. Something gonna happen.
A
You gotta take. You gotta. OO. Because you get. First of all, you know, in order to knock somebody out, you got to subject yourself to getting knocked out because you gotta. Ain't nobody throwing no points like this.
B
No. Gotta be vulnerable.
A
Yes.
B
Gotta be fun. See, that's why. That's why. That's why.
A
You see what you said, Ocho?
B
What?
A
You got to be vulnerable.
B
You have to.
A
So. So knocking somebody out is like falling in love. You got to be vulnerable. You got to open yourself up. Oh, are you willing to open yourself up, Ocho?
B
Got the debo. The debo. I hope James Harrison see this. I can't wait till I see you. I'm a punch in your face. I'm gonna put you in your face. I don't care where we see each other at.
A
Shador Sanders was officially named the number two quarterback for Cleveland in the game against Pittsburgh. The athletic Jason Lord is reporting that the Browns might be hesitant to release Shador because of what happened with their former quarterback, Baker Mayfield, who went on to shine after leaving Cleveland. I think it's a fear of. More so than Deshaun Watson debacle, and it's totally debacle at this point. I think. Excuse me. It's just a fear of a guy could develop elsewhere, and then three years from now, we're having the exact same conversation we are with Baker. Yeah, well, if you. Ocho.
B
Yeah.
A
If you can't develop them, why do you care? Ocho? I've never been mad of being in a situation where I couldn't give a young lady what she wanted and she went on somewhere else and got married. Or. Or she find her a serious boyfriend. I couldn't give her what she wanted. What she wanted at the time. I couldn't give her to it. She went somewhere else and found it. How do I begrudge that? Cleveland, if you can't develop a quarterback, why do you care if he goes somewhere else and somebody puts the time into him and develop him and actually wants him? Yes. At that time, actually, y' all didn't want Baker. Y' all didn't want Baker. You said you wanted a grownup. Okay? He went to. He had to go. He took up. He had to go. A lot of detours. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
But he eventually got to a place that let him be. Him y' all don't like, for whatever reason. And I don't know, I hope we get an opportunity to see Shador, maybe if it's not here somewhere else. But you guys wanted someone to, to be like this because you think this is the only way to play quarterback. No, that's not the only way to play quarterback. Now, I do think there are certain things you have to adhere to. You have to take the onus when things go wrong offensively, you put all the blame on yourself as the quarterback. That's just the one thing that I do believe. But do you have to be, like, stoic and, you know, you can be like Peyton Manning, you can be like Tom Brady. You can be like, you can be a. Look, you be like. There are a million different ways to play the position. I just believe responsibility and ownership is one of the things that a quarterback must do. But why do you care? You're not trying to develop him. He leaves. You release him, he goes somewhere else. They put the time in, they develop him, they give him an opportunity. Why do you care?
B
Yeah. And listen, don't let him go to a situation that's perfect for him. The situation in Tampa is perfect for Baker. What they have around him, what they built around him, the pieces that they continue to put around him. You got Mike Evans, you got Godwin.
A
You got Bucky Irvin, then White K, Dot.
B
Oh, my goodness, man, please.
A
I, I, I, I just never understood that. I, I, I never understood that because I look at and, and, and, and, and I just equate a lot of things. I've dated women that's gone on and gotten married. I wasn't ready at that time, and that's not where I was. How? Oh, you go marry him and you go do what?
B
Right?
A
Yeah, Cleveland, y' all not even attempted to develop it. Your owner didn't even want him and.
B
He let it be known. Yes, loud.
A
You didn't want Baker, and now all of a sudden, Baker played. Well, we don't want another Baker situation on hand. Why do you care? You didn't believe Baker could play. You didn't believe Baker could leave because you didn't like the way he was. Maybe he was braggadocio. Hey, the man is confident. The man deals with a Heisman Trophy as a walk on. The man walked on in Oklahoma. Yeah, and won the Heisman.
B
And the funny thing about it, too, you Know how the NFL works, right. If you believe in whoever is starting at the starting position, you have no problem letting someone else go. You have no problem letting anyone else go when you. Yes, that. Okay, you know what? We have our quarterback of the future. We have our quarterback of the future. You can just go get any other. Any other person to be a backup.
A
Correct.
B
Leaving the person that's actually starting.
A
Correct.
B
That lets. You know right there. We don't know. We're not sure. Now, Dylan, Gabriel look God damn good against the goddamn Vikings. Yes, I'm good.
A
So it's gonna be off. You look, they're gonna. They're gonna make him. Forced him throw the ball down the field. He's not gonna be able to check it down all the time. Ocho. And take that short stuff. They're gonna start sitting on the quick game. They're gonna make him. They're gonna force him to throw the ball down the field. He's gonna have to throw some comebacks. He's gonna have throw some outs. He's gonna have to throw some goals, some over some digs. He's gonna have to do some other things to get guys out of the backpedal, but we'll. We'll see. But this notion of the. They're afraid. Why do you care if I'm not willing to invest time, effort and energy into this individual, why do I care if they go somewhere else and succeed? You fired me from this job. Well, we don't want to fire him because, you know, he might go to somewhere else and blossom. Why do you care? You don't want me here, so let me go somewhere where they do want me. That's going to give me an opportunity no matter what a job is.
B
Yeah.
A
You fired me because clearly you didn't think I was good enough to do the job. Whatever the job is, whatever the task that you had set for me, you didn't believe I was good enough to do it. So if I go somewhere else and the task that they have set for me, I'm able to do it. Why do you care? He.
B
Listen, ego and pride make a fool of us all. I think there's something better out there. You know what? Forget that. I'm going ahead and let him go.
A
Yes.
B
It already happened once. So now you look at Baker succeeding. Okay, we don't want. We don't want to make that mistake again.
A
Well, first of all, y', all, general manager ain't Jason Light, so he can't pick players. Let's start with that. So, look, Begrudgingly he had to be number two. We'll see if and when he gets an opportunity to play. But hey, he might not even be able to. At least one NFL executive believe the Philadelphia Eagles will trade star wide receiver A.J. brown this season, according to Diana Rossini of the Athletic and anonymous AFC general manager predicted Philly will move on from Brown before the Nov. 4 trade deadline. Said Brown doesn't look frustrated or mad. He looks indifferent and that's not a good place to be. I think how he moves, I think how he moves him, it would have to be for the right player or pick. But a trade wouldn't surprise me. How he likes deals, especially players value override how Brown is being used, Rossini added. If the Eagles do entertain an idea of trading Brown teams across the league, expect the asking price to be steep going into the season. Brown had reached a th000 yards receiving in five of his six NFL seasons and earned three Pro bowl bursts, including two over his first two seasons in Philly 22 and 23.
B
Come on down. Come on down here to the AFC east, boy. Come on down here to the AFC East. We gonna get it we gonna get it to you Come on down here, down here on in Florida, bro.
A
With tour.
B
Yeah, we gonna, we gonna throw it. You heard me. At least we gonna do that. We gonna throw it. We gonna try. We gonna, we gonna let that thing rip. And number 11 is available. AJ Howie, I'm just saying.
A
I'm just saying it's gonna be interesting to see. I think a lot of things are contingent. Let's see how up until the Nova no November 4th trade deadline. Let's see how they're looking. But I can definitely see him. They're moving him in the off season. Yeah, I think that's more likely than moving him during the season. But first of all, I think Miami is more of a sale fire a rummy a fire sale than than the Eagles.
B
Oh yeah, it's coming. Oh, it's coming.
A
So the last thing I do if I'm unloading a player I'm not I'm not looking to add a player and they still got Tyreek on the roster. Now we'll see how that is. I mean that that that injury did look good. That I mean I understand what Drew Rosenhaus said. He's looking to return the start of 2026 season. Boy, that'll be a miracle after see after go back and looking at that injury. Oo that would be a miracle if he starts the season. A miracle.
B
But it wouldn't be. You think. You think it'd be in Miami next year?
A
Oh, no, no, no, no.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't think so.
B
Yeah.
A
No. I could have saw a situation. They moving on Tariq before the trade. The trade deadline or before. I think that was more realistic.
B
Right?
A
Yeah. Because they know they're not going anywhere. Ocho. No, they're not going anywhere. So. Yeah, I could totally see. All right. Oh, we're back with our newest segment, Player Fade, presented by prize picks. How it works. Nightcap staff has made lineups of their picks and either we play their lineup or make some changes. Choosing more or less. How do we do that? How do we do. Let's see what you call them. Had more than 35 yards rushing. Jackson dark somebody. A.J. brown. Had more than five and a half catches.
B
Told you.
A
But didn't we win last week, Ash? Oh, yeah. Saquon and Saquon got none.
B
You. You. And you answered that one. You answered that when I answered the first three.
A
All right, here's the pick. The power. The pick. Pick four pick. Power play of headache. Mars slate. Jake Ferguson over six receptions versus Carolina. Bam. I'm going.
B
Yes. Well, Jake Ferguson, a number four love.
A
Yeah, he love. Yeah, he loved Thorgy and CD not back either. No. And it seemed like it's like him. Okay. I'm going. Okay, we going. More. Matthew Stafford over 255 against the Ravens.
B
Make it 400.
A
DK Metcalf over four receptions versus Cleveland.
B
Oh. Greg Newsome gone. If Denzel Ward falling all over the place, I think. I think you get four. This might be a frustrating game for DK though.
A
We're gonna give him five.
B
Yeah.
A
More. Baker Mayfield over 239 yards passing. 239.5. So that means he has to have at least 240. Who they playing? Chris Godwin. I think Chris Godwin might be out the 49ers. Where's this game, Ash?
B
Man, the way a Booker playing, I wouldn't care they was playing in Iceland.
A
And San Fran. I don't think Chris Godwin is playing. Ocho.
B
Chris Godwin played last week. Yeah, I don't think it's gonna make a difference. You saw what a booker had last week.
A
Yeah. That's only 168. That ain't 239 and a half.
B
I mean. I mean, I. I don't know. And Baker been on fire, bro.
A
He has. I think Bucky Irving out, too. Isn't. I'm gonna say more. It's in Tampa. Oh, yeah. I'm definitely Going more. Now I'm going what you call them. I'm going more. Only one I'm concerned about is dk. Because it's. Because a lot of times. Dk. DK might have that one big one and then they have to move him around. I'm gonna go more. $25aminute. Win 250. Download the app today. Use code SHANNON to get 50 in lineups when you play your first five dollar lineup. Download code SHANNON to get 50in lineups after you play your first five dollar lineup. It's good to be right. All right, Ocho, we're gonna get you out of here on this one. Time for Q and a.
B
It's 6. 25 here.
A
What time the game?
B
At 2. Oh, so I got. I gotta get. My pickup is at 11, so I'm gonna give me a quick three hours of sleep.
A
Jason said Fizz Magic owns Ocho. Fizz Magic carved them up like crazy Christmas turkey. Ojo can never use words flag, foot or ball again until he pays Unc his money. Ocho was cooking some hot ales for Ocho today. Ocho stuck up the joint. Granny on the sideline did more than you, Ocho.
B
Thanks. I ain't stick up nothing. I did what I need to do.
A
I'm just saying what the chat said. The chat say you were looking.
B
I'm kidding about no chat. I ain't kidding about whoever said what they just said. I did. Both came my way. I did. I was supposed to. Supposed to do and I pick and I pick. Fits all. What you talking about? Like this. I picked him off like Odell. Let me get that.
A
Gary Jenkins said, hey, OO Uncle OO love y' all show. But word the shelf. We need some fresh hot ales for OO Keep that stove warm for OO Bengals tomorrow. You right.
B
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Joe Flacco. Joe Flacco is that quarterback tomorrow.
A
Boy, it don't matter.
B
I don't know what the pack is going to do the packing. Had to pack it up.
A
Oh, man. They tell y' all look Triple X Cap Sanity said, first is basketball, now flag football. Chad, you should have been the water boy. Don't want Chad to say basket or ball. Flag foot or ball.
B
Child, please YouTube me. Google me.
A
Nah, we did Google you on flag football. And use some slow.
B
Nah.
A
Zeldor said Ocho Binkle. Ocho Bengals lose. When he goes to the game, his flag football team gets destroyed. Unc, don't let Ocho go to the Broncos game. He tried to curse your team with his bad luck. I caught as many touchdowns as Ocho did today. Damn. Only good play Ocho made with that pick. But he forgot how the ball is played and it stood in the end zone to try to and not try to return it back.
B
I didn't want to return back. I was trying to. I was trying to lull him. But Fitz. Fitz caught on. I was trying to pretend like I was walking to the sideline. I was going to take off. It was smart. Hit him with that.
A
Antonio Kardi Devon Hustle Motivation said. Can I please have a birthday shout out? Thank you for all the laughs throughout my time in the Army. I haven't missed the show since 23. Devon Happy birthday, bro. Hopefully you had a great day today. I don't know if it's the day or tomorrow, depending on depending on where you are. But thank you man for your support. Thank you for listening. Thank you for watching Chad and I. We greatly, greatly appreciate that, man. We love our loyal members, our followers, our subscribers and thanks to you, Nightcap has become the success it's become. So thank you man and happy birthday fans. New Jersey is the Big Ten fraudulent behind beyond Ohio State, not Indiana for real?
B
Yeah, in Indiana.
A
Indiana for real. Kristen Field says SC SEC the Breeze 10 ain't nobody playing Minnesota Purdue attention versus UGA versus Bama. NFL draft output is proof enough. Damn pass. Natty look, I mean, yes, there are two power conferences, the Big Ten in the sec. Yes, most of the draft picks and most of the drafted players and players, they're going to come from those two conferences. I mean, it's going to take a miracle for somebody outside of that conference to win a national championship now moving forward. Ocho yeah. I mean, think about all the teams that's in all the teams that's in the SEC and all the teams that's in the Big Ten. So to get a team that's from the ACC or I mean, what, the Big 12 AAC. I, I don't, I don't know. I mean, it could happen. I mean, ACC and maybe Clemson, independent Notre Dame.
B
Clemson could.
A
But I ain't, I ain't, I ain't, I ain't putting no money down on it. Slowly. Griffin said. Uncle Nocho, great show. I wanted to know if you could play for any team in NFL history, who would you play for and why would you have a. You made a great patriot. Anybody outside of my Broncos who threw the ball? I mean, in this there hell, everybody throw the ball. Ocho it ain't really no bad team if you find a good. A decent quarterback.
B
Quarterback. Yeah.
A
Because, hell, everybody throw the ball 35 times a game. I think I could have been okay. I think I could have been okay with Thomas. Oh, Thomas Brady.
B
Yeah, that for me. I. I would. I would have loved to play in Miami. I would have loved to play in Miami. Be. Be. Be right there at home. Grandma could come watch me. Place she ain't getting on no plane. Mama could watch me play. All. All my dudes out at the city, out of Dade county come watch me play.
A
No, I don't want to play my home. I don't want to play in Atlanta. Hell, no.
B
No, man.
A
You'll be spending a thousand dollars every week for ticket, Every. Every game for tickets. But at least they wouldn't be asking. I mean. I mean, you go to super bowl, then people start asking. Hey, man, let me get a couple of tickets, bro. You ain't even say me saw me play a preseason game, right? So the first game you're gonna watch me play, it real. You're gonna be in the Super Bowl.
B
I'll play.
A
BNV goes. Love. Ocho just met him and chopped it up for a minute. Genuine guy.
B
Hey.
A
Oh, my pretty beggars.
B
Matter of fact, you know what?
A
What?
B
That might be my partner. You know, I was. I was sitting outside.
A
It was at Pretty beggars.
B
Okay, okay, wait. That's. That's ideal. I don't know.
A
Yeah, yeah, he met you, not me.
B
Yeah, in London. Hey, hey, the people out here in London, boy, they. They nice, man. They real nice, man. I was sitting there talking with some dudes I met at the Blues Kitchen. Blues Kitchen was nice. And I'm sitting outside the hotel. Dude, they're like, Ocho, like, yeah, what's good? Well, where's Shannon at? I'm like, man, Shannon right here, man. We love Nightcap, man. We sat. We. About a whole hour, about five.
A
Football.
B
And I was explaining how much I love soccer, and I was mad. Everybody's on international break right now, and I. I don't know, man. You. If you ain't been to London, you need to come here, man. A lot of you. You got a lot of fans, bro.
A
Ocho, you know what I get every time I see somebody? Jordan, man, where Ocho? I said, y' all do know OO not my child, right? I expect to see Ocho. Really? Yeah. So let me. So you didn't expect to see me? You just happened to be. We just happened to be passing to the airport. Yeah, I said, ocho, and I don't Travel together. Oo live where he lives, I live where I live. And then we do the show, and if we got a live event, we go take that together. But.
B
It'S a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. A lot of love out here in London, man. A lot. A lot of people watch the show.
A
Well, we got to get over there, go see Big. Did you go see Big Ben yet?
B
Big Ben?
A
Yeah. What's that? Don't worry about it. Justin McNeil said Ocho ain't paying you your money. Got my UNC out here looking funny. I'd be damn if my Titans ain't lose on Sunday onto the draft in five.
B
Oh, you talk about looking funny. Them. Hey, the jets might get their first win tomorrow, too.
A
Oh, well, I ain't gonna get my money, so.
B
Hey, who. Who The Ravens play. Who? The Ravens play the Rams. Oh, yeah. Good luck with that. So you might be.
A
You might be on two tomorrow, Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy said. Breaking news. The Nightcap weather report. There's 100% chance of cowboys victory tomorrow. They play Carolina. They play Carolina. They play in. In Dallas, but it don't matter.
B
Listen, it don't. Hold on now. Carolina. Same. Same. Same team that shocked the goddamn Falcons. Not so fast.
A
Okay?
B
Carolina ain't down.
A
It's in Carolina. Oh, yeah.
B
All right.
A
JT513/Bingles O line. Got to come to the party tomorrow.
B
That's it.
A
They not. Miles Gary gonna have about three sacks.
B
Miles Gary? You mean Michael Parsons. They play the Packers.
A
Who?
B
The Bengals.
A
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Michael. Oh, Michael and Rashawn Gary. Yeah. They probably have about. I bet the packers have about seven sacks on that statue back there named Flacco. Yeah.
B
Don't believe that.
A
Yeah, man, the Statue of Liberty don't move more than Joe Flacco has. Hold on.
B
You know. You know, the pack is. The pack is back in. Is. Is suspect, right?
A
You can't get to it. All right, Peter, Pat Dub said, since Aaron Glenn and Sean Payton were on the same staff in New Orleans, do you expect this game to be a trap game for the Broncos? No.
B
I'm glad you said that because I said. I'm telling you now, you won't be on here crying. Make sure you put that robe on, too.
A
I'm having on.
B
Yeah, put a. Put. Put your Broncos helmet off. Put it. And the Ravens, too. Yeah.
A

B

A
Him and Mims. Okay.
B
You know, Sauce Garden out there, right?
A

Boy, Ocho, you talk how good you, you, you is, but you scored zero in basketball, got smoked in boxing, got ran over at rodeo. And, and now zero touchdowns today. Come on, bro. Hey, Granny had that many touchdowns. Oo De. She looks way cooler in sunglasses. Maybe the Bengals can sign up.
B
Everything.
A
Oo. You did tell him you gonna have about three, four touchdowns, though.
B
Who? I mean, you did? Yeah. I mean, what you want me to do?
A
You didn't. I wanted you to have three or four touchdowns like you said. That's what I want you to do.
B
How am I gonna do that without the ball? What you want me to do?
A
I wanted you to score a touchdown, Ocho, like you promised me you would.
B
I did score a touchdown. I know Ash showed you the clip. Tell as show you that clip of these feet. What he feet.
A
You scored an extra point. That's what he said.
B
Yeah, well, five, eight touchdowns required the ball five or eight times.
A
No, you didn't score, Ojo, and I'm. I'm disappointed in you.
B
Ain't nothing I can do. I play a dependent position.
A
Fans New Jersey heard Ocho played like he was 85, too. They told you, man. They say call you Chad. Don't call you, don't call you Oo Cinco. Call you 85 or Chad.
B
