Ocho Shador Sanders commented on his dad's involvement in his life and his career. Let's take a look at what he had to say.
Matt Castle
I ain't know. I ain't know. Your parents, you know being involved and wanting the best for you is a problem, right? I think his parents, each and every one, they want the best for their kids. So the fact that he has the opportunity to do that for me line. He has the best quarterback in the country. He's supposed to do that. Yeah. Talk.
Chad Ochocinco
You see how they do? You see how they do What? You see how they do now the killers, if we create homes and you're not there, right? Time has created a Situation. Even as he divorced their mom, the kid's mom, he was always hands on. He never stopped being dead. First and foremost. He prioritized everything around his kid's schedule. Hey, I used to call him, hey, man, I got. Hey, I got to go pick up the kids. I got to go to practice. Even when the hall. Everything was around the kid. He's always been in his kid's life. We should. We should applaud that. We should commend him, but that's not what we do. Oh, man. He tried to run the kid. How you do realize who he. Who his dad is? He ain't got to live his life through his kids. That's time. Yes. He's arguably one of the two or three greatest athletes to ever. To ever live.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
He ain't got to live his life through Shador. I tell you what he does, though. He want the absolute best for Shador. And he's gonna do everything he possibly can, like we all do, to put our kids in situations where they can succeed.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
And when we got money, Ocho, if our kids can't get a scholarship, what we do, we pay for them to go to school.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
We put them in pride. We put them in the best situation because we've been afforded an opportunity, the means to be able to do that, because we won't. Who in the hell want worse for their kids than what they had? I'm confused.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
And I'm glad Shador said it. I'm glad he said. I didn't know that was a problem. That your parents in your life, and they want what's best for you.
Matt Castle
Yeah. It shouldn't be a problem. But obviously, you know, the media has to come up with some type of narrative. They have to come up with something. Because they don't do it for any other quarterbacks.
Chad Ochocinco
No, hold on, hold on.
Matt Castle
They didn't do it for Peyton Manning. Did they say anything about. Did they say Eli is saying about archers being around? Come on, now. They didn't do that to them. You know, And I'm not. I'm just saying in general. It's the only example I can think of, especially at the quarterback position that's as prominent and more of a public. That's a public figure similar to that of Deion Sanders and Shador. That's the only example I can think of. But they didn't do that to them. No, but I mean.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, what Lavar was able to do for his boys. I laugh at Lavar. Cause he was funny. Because he Used to come on us all the time.
Matt Castle
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
But he sincerely cared about those boys. About a man that's married, that had been married 30 plus years, married his college sweetheart. I remember him telling the story like, hey, I said, man, how you know? I think her name is Tina. Teddy, take your. Teddy, come here. Come here. Hall ass did this. Teddy came here, looking around, said, y'all ain't got nothing going on. I said, I say, I said, laar, I said, bar, how you know Tina was the one? He's like, I ain't know. He said, I ain't know what I was going to do and. But I said, I want to do it with you.
Matt Castle
Oh, I like that.
Chad Ochocinco
Here, come on, get up here. Come on, get up here. Why shall I put you in the bed? Who? No. Why she ain't put you in the bed? Why should they put you to bed? You're supposed to be. No, it's actually. You got. You got 15 more minutes. You got 15 more minutes, bro, and then you got to go to bed. Okay? 15 more minutes. What is Joker here? Come on, let's go. Come on. Hold on. Go ahead. Let's go chat.
Matt Castle
I forgot what I was talking about. Chad. Chad. Who y'all got tomorrow, huh? Eagles Commanders. Talk to me. Eagles Commanders. You really, honestly, you. You really can't go wrong. You can't go wrong. I know we have some Eagles fans in the chat. I know we have some Commanders fans. Eagles. I, you know, I love my Eagles. I love my Eagles. You know, I'm in Philly every Tuesday, so you know how I feel about the Eagles Commanders fans. It's been a very long time. I think 33 years since you've been in the NFC Championship. I think my numbers might. Might be right, might be off a little bit, but you got to be feeling good about tomorrow. You have to be feeling good just based on the product that's been on the field and what Jaden Daniels has been able to display for you guys, you know, for this season, you know, and not having adequate quarterback play or consistent quarterback play, you know, of this manner, you finally have a quarterback that gives you hope, again, similar to what RG3 did, you know, when he. When he came in, and he played as well. So I'm excited for that game tomorrow. But for me, the Bills and Chiefs, that's going to be a good one. That's going to be a good one. The Bills can't beat themselves. The Bills cannot beat themselves, you know, because I don't think Mahomes is going to make any mistakes, I think Josh Allen has to play the exact same way. Josh Allen has to play the exact same way. We call him Superman at the time based on some of the things that he's able to do. He has to put on that cape tomorrow and not turn the ball over. You got to beat Mahomes.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. Ocho.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm gonna disagree with you. I don't believe he has to be so disagreeing. Huh?
Matt Castle
You gonna disagree with me?
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, Because I don't think he has to be Superman. I just think he could be as long as he don't turn the ball over.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Because look at him last. He wasn't Superman last week.
Matt Castle
No, he didn't even have that good of a game.
Chad Ochocinco
No. He threw for 127 yards.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
But what didn't he do?
Matt Castle
He didn't turn the ball over. And that's what I said, too, right before when you sat down. I said, well, I would like him to be Superman and take the game over. If the team. If the. If the team, if they put the ball in his hands, I need you to do everything. I need you to run it, I need to throw it. But I don't need. I need you not to turn the ball over because not only you'll be. You're going to pay double for it. Not only. Especially with the Chiefs. They getting some points out of something.
Chad Ochocinco
Ocho.
Matt Castle
Whether it be seven or whether it be three, they gonna get some. Like Denzel said, we leaving with something.
Chad Ochocinco
Get to the fourth quarter. Josh Allen, get us to the fourth quarter, right? With a chance to win the game. That's all I need. Five minutes. Five minutes. That's all I need.
Matt Castle
Right?
Chad Ochocinco
Don't let it be. Don't let it be. With five minutes and the Chiefs up 14. They up 10. Hey, one possession, that's all he needs. And then trust it, because anything third and short. Fourth and short. He got. He fourth and short. He got the legs to get you out of harm's way. Yeah, but if you turn the ball over, you get that crowded. Let's keep the crowd at bay for as long as we possibly can on Joe.
Matt Castle
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
Let's keep that crowd in Kansas City. Now, that's the loudest stadium. They're going to be 80,000 and they're going to be in red. Keep them at bay.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Oh, yeah. So who you got? Who you got? Who you got tomorrow?
Chad Ochocinco
Man, I can't pick Buffalo. Cause they beat. They beat my team.
Matt Castle
Oh, so you.
Chad Ochocinco
You beat my team? I'm picking against you. They beat both of my teams.
Matt Castle
Oh, okay. Well, who you.
Chad Ochocinco
But I do think. But look, my, my head say Kansas City. My heart say Buffalo. Buffalo beat both of my teams. So I guess I'm supposed, I'm supposed to pick Buffalo but it's just, man, it's just hard to pick against my homeboy. Yeah, he's been there, he's done that and he. Cause think about Ocho. They've gone eight games. Eight consecutive games, zero turnovers.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
That's an NFL record. That's the thing you look at, you look at when they lost at Buffalo. I mean. Excuse me, when they lost to Cincinnati.
Matt Castle
Right?
Chad Ochocinco
Two.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
And Buffalo capitalized on.
Matt Castle
Eight games.
Chad Ochocinco
Be hard to beat him if they, it's going to be hard for Buffalo to beat them if they don't turn the ball over.
Matt Castle
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
They got, they, they got to somehow Coach Mahomes into turning the ball over. I'm going with Philly. I'm going with Philly in, in the, in the, the first game. Yeah, I think they play, I think they play they the first game. Philly in Washington. I think 3 and 6.
Matt Castle
Can't wait.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, 3 and 6. 3 and 6 30. So that means we're going to probably be on around 8:30, almost 9:00.
Matt Castle
I can't wait, Ocho.
Chad Ochocinco
The Bills offensive tackle Deion Dawkins wants an offensive lineman of the year award. Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
Matt Castle
My dad thing for an individual that is a part of this league to be able to get an award for being great and I'll circle back on, you know, offensive linemen don't have awards for being great. You know, there's not a protector of the year award. I'm knocking at so many doors now to get this award going and I'm going to head spirit and make sure that this gets done before I'm done playing because so many greats. There's so many greats and if we have great quarterbacks, we have great running backs, we have rushing titles, we have quarterback passing titles. All those titles are reflections of the old linemen which are the protectors and soon to come. But yeah, I'm glad that the, that our McDermott is up for an award. I like it.
Chad Ochocinco
You agree?
Matt Castle
Yeah, I, I, I, I told, I wholeheartedly agree with him. It is because listen the office alignment overlook the office alignment overlook especially those the blindsided the quarterback. If, if your quarterback on your team, let's say pimping Junior your right tackle Is. Is your money man. I need him to be the best player on the field for me. You know, if your quarterback is right handed, like, like Baker Mayfield, Worth, your left tackle. I think Worth is on the left side. If not mistake. Yes. Yeah. Worth on the left side. Players like that, your DM Dawkins, your worst, your Lance Johnsons, your penny souls, they deserve the accolades as such, you know, individual achievements for their play throughout the entirety of the season. Because if you look at some of the stats with half of the people don't. Especially unless you are a fan that is really embedded into the sport. You know, based on outside of receivers and DBs and quarterbacks and running backs. You know, these dudes are great. You know these dudes are great. They are the foundation that keeps the quarterback not only upright, but allows a running game to be what it is.
Chad Ochocinco
I agree. Protector of the year. I like that. Protector. The protector of the year, more times than not is probably going to be old lineman of the year because they got it. They got like Lombardi's in college. They got the Remington award, which is the top center, right. You know, the Outland Trophy or the Lombardi, you know, something like that. So offensive lineman in college can win an award. But he's right, right there's. I mean, you know, even though it's not specifically for the D lineman. But you can win defensive player of the year, right?
Matt Castle
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
Chad Ochocinco
I don't know if the DBs do. DBs have an award now? They don't. DBs don't really have an award. They give the most tackles team. I think Zach Braun. No, the guy Zaire. Zaire. Franklin in India. I think he let tackles.
Matt Castle
Yeah, he nice.
Chad Ochocinco
So I, I agree, I agree. I agree with Dawn. They definitely need to have an award for the, for the offensive line. But show them some love. Give him some love.
Matt Castle
I mean, me and, me and dog, we work at the same, same gym. When he's down here in Miami. It's called AK Fitness. In, in. In Davey.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They do it, dude. Big as hell, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh yeah. Hell yeah.
Matt Castle
When you're not around, when you're not around the game as much you know, anymore and you know, you retire, you.
Chad Ochocinco
Forget how big and you kind of.
Matt Castle
Forget how big the damn linemen are until you see him in person.
Chad Ochocinco
Uh huh.
Matt Castle
I'm like, God, me, what the hell?
Chad Ochocinco
Ocho.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Kyrie spoke about the end of the season comments and he said what y'all heard at the end of the season is frustration. I've been winning my whole life. We gotta put some pressure on mofos, and y'all gotta fix this Ish. Add some mofo dogs. Ocho, I get the frustration part.
Matt Castle
That's what I told you, too.
Chad Ochocinco
What I don't get is not taking your ass back in the game in the fourth quarter.
Matt Castle
That's part of the frustration. Now, see, you can't take how you would be frustrated and how you would react as opposed to letting how someone else would react to it. Now, the way he reacted, being frustrated.
Chad Ochocinco
About can the Dolphins be frustrated and not seeing him that check.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Now, when you break it down like that. I understand what you're talking about.
Chad Ochocinco
I just want to know, because guess what? I guarantee you he wasn't frustrated to know that that direct deposit didn't hit that account on Monday or Tuesday.
Matt Castle
Right? He was.
Chad Ochocinco
He. That. So. You know what, guys? Since I didn't go back into the game and my team was cap, I quit on my team.
Matt Castle
Keep that money.
Chad Ochocinco
You know what? Keep that money.
Matt Castle
Hey, that's funny. That's funny.
Chad Ochocinco
No. Ocho.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Think about how many times you've been frustrated in the game. They ain't throwing you no balls. Hey, you don't go say, man, y'all ain't throwing me the balls. I finna go and get up out of here.
Matt Castle
I don't like that. Now, you do know a story now where I wouldn't get that in a very, very, very, very, very, very, very important game. And I will hop. Now, I got.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, I know. I remember.
Matt Castle
Oh, yeah. Hey. Huh? I had. I had the IV in me, and.
Chad Ochocinco
I used to break it out. Blood going everywhere, everywhere.
Matt Castle
You know? And I'm telling you, I'm saying, hugh, what are we. Hugh, what are we doing? Not only does Carson go down. Well, if Carson goes down, you have somebody. You have a viable option that makes. That makes the. Makes your job still easy. You know, I can do anything. All you gotta do is move me around. Don't allow this team to dictate to us what we want to do in a game of this magnitude and this important. Come on, man. What are we doing? Ain't nothing. Ain't nobody over there that could do nothing with me. I don't care who it is. I don't care nothing about how historic their franchise is and how many Super Bowls they got. Now, you know, my mentality was different, huh?
Chad Ochocinco
But even though you said that and you did that, you still went out there and played.
Matt Castle
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
You know, you didn't quit on your team.
Matt Castle
Oh, no, I don't care.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm saying. Well, they're not throwing me the ball. Ain't no sense of me being out here.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't play.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, bro, they make it seem like we caught five passes every game that we participated in. Ocho.
Matt Castle
No, see, I'm different. I mean, mentally, I was different mentally. Once I clock in. Once I. Once I clock in, I ain't clocking out to that motherfucking clock in. 0.
Chad Ochocinco
Do the game over.
Matt Castle
That's it. Whether it's. Whether it's going good or bad, it's different. You know, now everybody handles their frustrations and what's going on differently. You know, I sympathize and empathize with Tyreek, though. I understand where he's coming from. Do I agree with the way he handled it? Absolutely not. You can't do that, young bull. You can't do that. You got to be there for your team. First quarter, second quarter, third quarter, third quarter, four. Now, if you have issues when the clock hits zero, address those issues. As a matter of fact, the issues you might have start all the way at the top, go straight to the owner, and then work your way down, right? And finish it with the quarterback.
Chad Ochocinco
Ocho, it would have been easier to have this conversation. You finished that game. Now, that's a conversation I have with McDaniel. That's a conversation I have with the general manager. And if it needs to, I go all the way upstairs. I mean, how do Ocho. How do you have a conversation with somebody when you quit on that team when they needed you the most? You're not going nowhere. So hold on. When you was catching all them balls, you ain't quit when you got an opportunity to get 2,000 yards. You was gung ho.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Hey, I have a question.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes?
Matt Castle
I don't know. Do you think he was injured? Do you think he was hurt a little bit? What do you think?
Chad Ochocinco
No, No.
Matt Castle
I mean, I'm just asking. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Chad Ochocinco

Bobby Bones
I don't like the color edition.
Matt Castle
It's extremely pink.

Ojo. Yes, Tom Brady is looking to sell his Florida mansion. It happened to be down the street.
Matt Castle
Yes.
Chad Ochocinco
That big one In Miami, that 35 million. The one he got all them big cranes like this. A high. Like it's a downtown high rise.
Matt Castle
How much he want? How much he want?
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, he put. What is like 35 million. I think it's in billionaire. It's in billionaire bunker. Billionaire row, isn't it? Where is it? Yeah, he's received bids over 150 million.
Matt Castle
Damn. I was gonna try to get that bitch, too, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Get with what, huh? You ain't gonna even pay the light bill of that both.
Matt Castle
Are you cribbing? No money, man. Well, with this good 150bill I got, with this credit I got. Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Man, you need Bezos credit to get that one.
Matt Castle
Matter of fact, you know what? It don't matter how many bids he got. If I hit. If I call, may I call Tom right now? You think he answered? If I call and say, tommy, hang up.
Chad Ochocinco
Hang up on you. Ocho, man, look here. Me personally, Ocho.
Matt Castle
Huh?
Chad Ochocinco
I don't want. No, look, I think I might be willing to go to 10.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
For a crib. 100 million?
Matt Castle
Nah, but 150, that. That's for. That's a. That's for a different type of person that's bringing in a different type of revenue. It's different. Now, there are people if you. You haven't been you ever been to Salt Islander? I sit on. I don't understand the people that only been living in Miami. They don't come here until the goddamn summer.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah.
Matt Castle
For the winter. How you got a 38 million, 50 million dollar house that you only come for two months out the year?
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. What do you do? No, they come down there during the winter. It's too hot.
Matt Castle
That's what I mean. They come in the winter because where they live, it's cold.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah.
Matt Castle
How you got a summer house for 50 million? And here I am, I'm catching balls. Getting ahead. Pause, pause.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, yeah. Getting hit. Wow. Wow. Hey, hey, Chat. I'm gonna step back for this one. I'm gonna let it down on that one. Y'all go your head on your.
Matt Castle
When I played football, I was catching the pig skin getting hit, getting knocked over, scoring touchdowns. You know, I think when I played, I think the totality of my contract at that time was what, maybe 35 million? And you got a house, a house that you only come see for two months for 50. I mean, that's neither here nor there. I'm happy with everything that I made, and I'm still blessed beyond measures, and I'm thankful for that. But what do you do? Sometimes I go around and look at the houses on Star island, you know, like, what do. What do you do?
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, I've been to a house that was like 80 million. I couldn't. I can't even imagine.
Matt Castle
Oh, let's, let's.
Chad Ochocinco
But you know what? Hey, I might hit him up. Cause I got his number.
Matt Castle
Right?
Chad Ochocinco
Right. I might hit him up and ask him to let me hold that thing for a while.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And we could do. We could do the show. We could do a live show from there.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, no, I'm done with the live shows. But anyway, you know what I'm saying? I got something else in mind, though. I got a show in mind.
Matt Castle
Okay, okay, I see what you mean, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, you hit a button, Ocho, and the whole wall disappear. About 3,000 square feet of wall just go into the floor.
Matt Castle
Hey, that's a different kind of money.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, and it got. Got a. It got a fireplace that just wrap around probably like. The fireplace probably like 30, 40ft. And they got those. Got those outdoor couches, those big old couches.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
If you ever want to impress one, if she ain't impressed with that.
Matt Castle
Listen, they walk through the whole. They walking through the door of an $80 million house. Matter of fact, your clothes just fall off when you Walk in?
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matt Castle
Just fall off when you walk in. That's a different, that's a different level of. And you listen, you thought you talking about an 80 million dollar house or a 50, 35 million dollar house. You ever been to the boat show? You want to be angry and you want to be angry and understand a mega. You've seen the price of a mega yacht, I see. Yeah, man. And this is all the owners.
Chad Ochocinco
That's the new thing now to the owners are getting them. Mr. Blade got one, Jerry has one. There's several owners that are. That have purchased them. Obviously. Obviously. Larry Ellison and Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, all those guys got to about 300. This Russian got what like a length that's long on the football field.
Matt Castle
Oh, the funny thing about it is these mega yachts for them, that's their toys, our toys, you know, Ferrari, Cullinan, BMW. Old school exotic.
Chad Ochocinco
They don't do nothing with the car. Cars don't move them yachts. Planes move them yachts. I mean like yeah, 100 million, 200 million.
Matt Castle
Or private jets in making it.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes.
Matt Castle
Like it's a different dog. It's a different level.
Chad Ochocinco
I don't fly enough. Would I love to have shares. I'd like to get like 100 hours or 150 hours in a jet.
Matt Castle
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
But to own it.
Matt Castle
Oh no. Oh no.
Chad Ochocinco
And a yacht. And a boat. Boat. B O A T. Bust out another.
Matt Castle
Thousand year round because you're paying a.
Chad Ochocinco
Crew even though it's dark. Yeah, you paying for. You got to keep that salt water up off it. So you paying for maintenance even though it's docked? Nah, I'm good.
Matt Castle
You have to have a different type of. You have to have multiple streams of high revenue when you're doing that playing.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, yeah. I don't want the prior. I like the access. I like the access to be able to go, hey, right. Hey, we gonna leave it this time on show. Hey, and I want X, Y and Z on the plane. You know, we had. You gonna have a little thing, you know, ash was kicked back on the plane.
Matt Castle
Okay.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, you gonna ask, can we go on the plane? Oh, so now you don't wanna fly? You don't wanna fly. You know, Delta, you, you above Delta now. Delta is beneath you, huh? Yes, you. But yeah, that's. That's Tom like. Nah, you know what? I want to see the kids, but I'm gonna move to a different side of the island.
Matt Castle
Yeah, that is crazy, man. Hey, hey, Brady, Brady, if you. I know you're Gonna see this. You know, the fact our relationship goes beyond anybody, goes beyond anybody that's put a bid in for your house. If you want to sell it to somebody, come holla at your boy. Come holler at your boy.
Chad Ochocinco
No, don't holler. Yeah. And no, you know what? That way I can, you know, if I have my. Only if I had my plane, you know, I go to the bathroom on the plane, then I only want to do one thing. I want to do one thing on the airplane. And they got. Here in Vegas, they got a little runt for 825. Ocho, you can become a member of the Mile High Club. They got a pilot. You saw it? I saw it advertised.
Matt Castle
I heard about that.
Chad Ochocinco
Don't be surprised.
Matt Castle
I heard about that.
Chad Ochocinco
Don't be surprised, Ocho. You look up in the sky and you see legs. That's your boy. That's what I'm saying, Ocho. That's me.
Matt Castle
Now, that'd be great content right there now. Yeah, yeah, that'd be great. That'd be great content, matter of fact.
Chad Ochocinco
Because I. I'm trying to figure out who fit in them. Who fit in an airplane laboratory, right? I mean, every time I'm knocking paper towels off the wall, I mean, so water run. I'm like, hey, no way.
Matt Castle
Right, right, right.
Chad Ochocinco
But, hey, it all depends how bad you want to make it work. I make it work.
Matt Castle
That's all it comes down to right there. Now. Hey, one of my. One of my. One of my favorite things, you know? Oh. When you say, listen, you can't. It take two people to tango, huh?
Chad Ochocinco
Titus, I don't.
Matt Castle
I don't. You know, I don't want to spar. I don't want to spar by myself. I don't want to shadow box. I want to spar with you. You hear me?
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, you could fit in there.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Most definitely. Most definitely.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, look at you, Ocho. Any man that can look through a keyhole with both eyes, Come on, man, I know you.
Matt Castle
You got. You gotta understand. You got. You don't understand how big I've gotten. I'm not small no more, man.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm rocked.
Matt Castle
I'm sitting right. Look at the size of my Titus right now, man. Hey, Chad, y'all see how big I got my camera down some. So the check and see.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm glad they didn't hear him in the thing. He was in the room barking. He said, man, look here.
Matt Castle
Hey, Chat. Look at the size of my arm. Chat.
Chad Ochocinco
I see you, boy. I see you.
Matt Castle
I'm gonna. Give me credit, man. I might be. I'm. I might be bigger than you right there. This thing look good.
Chad Ochocinco
He just refused to go.
Matt Castle
Will we get flagged if I take my shirt off? Nah, Like, I. I think the chair.
Chad Ochocinco
They really. I mean, if you take your shirt off, you go just blend into the background. We ain't gonna see it. This joker here, Titus, what they do.
Matt Castle
Twin Titus.
Chad Ochocinco
Once you go in Shelly room, bother Shelly, so all she do is jail. All right, Ocho, it's time for our daily Dum Dum award. Ocho, you gotta listen to this baby mama who blocked her incoming child support payments. Chad, take a listen to this. Hank. Child support payments from him, do you?
Matt Castle
Yes. He leaves knocking on Venmo. He should. That makes it so much easier on him to just Venmo me instead of.
Chad Ochocinco
Going to the bank.
Matt Castle
He's doing everything the easiest that it can possibly be done for Chase, and he's done that the whole time we've been together.
Chad Ochocinco
Why would you not want it to.
Katherine Legge
Be easy if he's going to send.
Matt Castle
You money, why would you not want.
Katherine Legge
That to be easy for him?
Matt Castle
Because it takes one more thing off of Chase that he has to do.
Chad Ochocinco
You don't take child support. Let that figure. She said, because it's easy, he should have to go to the bank and get the money and bring it, like, basically bring it to her, Right? So she. When he Venmo her the money, she blocks the payments and then says, I ain't getting child support.
Matt Castle
I don't understand. What's the point? What is she doing?
Chad Ochocinco
She doesn't. She says it's too easy for him to make child support payments by Venmoing her the money.
Matt Castle
Oh, so she wants it to be a little bit more difficult on him to. Oh, yes. Well, I.
Chad Ochocinco
That. That.
Matt Castle
That makes absolutely no sense, honey. That makes absolutely no sense. I wonder what the ruling was in that case.
Chad Ochocinco
You can't block Ocho. He's paying. You can't say he's not playing when you blocking the payment.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah. She tripping. She tripping big time. Big time.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm like. I had to listen to it again. She was like. Because it's so easy for him, and he's always doing the easiest thing possible.
Matt Castle
Yes. Know what that means, Ocho?
Chad Ochocinco
How many people have direct deposit on their bills? Because everybody got tired of writing checks, filling it out, putting it in the mail, putting a stamp on it. They say, you know what? We can just Take this out every month.
Matt Castle
That's me.
Chad Ochocinco
And be done with it.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Babe, you gotta move on. He done moved on with his life. That sounds like a woman that's upset that the child's father or ex husband or whatever the case may be has moved on with his life.
Matt Castle
That's what happens when you still have feelings. When you're a little bitter. When you're a little bitter. Because if you're not bitter, you let everything happen very smoothly. So you don't have any. Any type of situation or you have. No, no, I don't. Not combativeness. What's the word I'm looking for? Yeah, I'm looking for a word. I really can't find it.
Chad Ochocinco
Toxic.
Matt Castle
Yeah, yeah, that too.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. Auto pay. I ain't got no auto. Well, I do got auto pay, but Shelly set that up. Okay. Oo. Now it's time for another Twitter debate. Hold on, hold on. Type. Someone asked 125,000 to continue to work fully remote or 165,000 for three days at work at the job. Which would you choose?
Matt Castle
Wait a minute. Three days out the week for 165,000 or staying home and working remote?
Chad Ochocinco
Yes.
Matt Castle
For a year. Right.
Chad Ochocinco
I. Moving forward.
Matt Castle
Oh, I'm taking. I'm taking the three days. 165. And I'm getting my ass up and going to work for them. Three days out.
Chad Ochocinco
Three days a week? Yeah, man, please.
Matt Castle
Oh, so you. You're not taking you long. You. So you.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm taking. I'm taking the most money. Yeah, for sure.
Matt Castle
Okay, okay, okay. I mean, because it's easy to get.
Chad Ochocinco
Distracted when you hold mocho. You start doing a whole bunch of other stuff and not.
Matt Castle
No, you don't even.
Chad Ochocinco
I need to get my.
Matt Castle
I don't even think people actually work when they home. I mean, I know they work.
Chad Ochocinco
I know.
Matt Castle
Because they have to do things. You have to meet.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. People saying. People are saying.125, Ocho. This explains why we. That's why. That's why we in the situation we in. That's why people ain't got no money. Because people want what's easy. You see, Ocho, all you gotta do. Look at your chat. People want what's easy. People don't really want to work.
Matt Castle
Well, I mean. 165. 165. Oh, 125. Work, life, balance. I ain't dealing with the crazy dude. People don't want to work on Joe. I mean, they tripping.125. Yeah, they tripping. They tripping. You know, they, they. Ah. I. I saw one.
Chad Ochocinco
Give me the money.
Matt Castle
I saw somebody say, I want to work from home. I don't want to deal with people at work. I don't want to deal with traffic, you know, having to commute back and forth, especially during rush hour. I understand all that, all those stuff, those things. But.
Chad Ochocinco
But you dealt with it before.
Matt Castle
Yeah. In this economy. Now this is a hypothetical. In this economy, I think most. Most. I'm not sure what percentage, you know, is back and work, but a lot of people work remote since COVID A.
Chad Ochocinco
Lot of people, yes. Hey. And a lot of them said, look here, y'all either come back to work, you're gonna have to find different employment. Yeah, okay. I got no problem with that.
Matt Castle
Hey, but that one year, 165, when you just work three days a week, man, where I had my feet kicked out. Chilling.
Chad Ochocinco
You know, you work three days and the other two at home.
Matt Castle
Oh, I like that. As a matter of fact, I want to. If I can control it, I want to work. Coming off the weekend, I want to work in. At the workplace. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I want Thursday and Friday at home. So I could basically call. I call it a four day weekend. Damn near five. Yeah, no, four day. Four day.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. I've just come to the realization people really don't want to work.
Matt Castle
Yeah, well, they want.
Chad Ochocinco
They don't.
Matt Castle
Right. They want instant gratification.
Chad Ochocinco
Doing the least possible.
Matt Castle
Exactly. Like you really said.
Chad Ochocinco
And then they get mad at other people. Well, how much money you need?
Matt Castle
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
How much hard. How hard did he work? Yeah, how hard did he or she work?
Matt Castle
You get that.
Chad Ochocinco
See, people that have a lot, most of the time, not all, sometimes they inherit it, but they're willing to do things that you want, which is like work multiple hours, 80 hours a week. That's not what you want. You think somebody should just hand you money over freely? It doesn't work like that. So. It doesn't. So that's why I've been like, I don't care. I'm gonna work. Saying I'm gonna work because I like the lifestyle, and I think the people that around me like the lifestyle that they have. And I've been very fortunate. I'm very, very blessed, Ocho, that I got a team that works just as hard.
Matt Castle
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
But I've been come to that conclusion. People just don't want to work, Ocho. Yeah, they don't. They don't.
Matt Castle
It's been that way for a while, though. You know, a lot of people are lazy. A lot.
Chad Ochocinco
Think about, think about it. People saying, now you making a 125 and you saying 40,000 ain't no money. That's a third of what you actually pay. Think about that. Let that sink in onto what they're saying. 40,000 is 30% of what they make, and that ain't no money.
Matt Castle
Yeah, I don't know, man.
Chad Ochocinco
I think, I mean, we wonder why people broke and we wonder why people credit messed up because that's how they think.
Matt Castle
The way people talk, you know, maybe not just the chat, just in general. The way people portray themselves over Twitter, social media, Instagrams, tick tock. They make it seem like everybody's rich. They make it seem like everybody has money. They make it seem like it's so easy to win. Statistically, the percentage of people that you only want to work one that they. The. The percentage of people that actually have what we consider, you know, real or good money, the percentage is so small.
Chad Ochocinco
Exactly. Well, I'm gonna let y'all do it. Y'all go ahead and do what y'all want to do. I'm gonna keep on working this. I'm gonna show up for work.
Matt Castle
I'm showing up to all 57, 11 my jobs.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, now we got a situation, though, that we can do hours, right? That we don't have to be next to each other. And I know people say, well, Shannon, you be working on. They told me that. Now VSP had told me, said, well, Shannon, we gonna give you this, but you need to have your ass in studio. Guess where I would have been?
Matt Castle
In studio.
Chad Ochocinco
In studio. But this was a conversation we had. I didn't spring this on them, right. I didn't get the job. Say, oh, I'm working. I'm working. What you call them? If they'd have said, shanna, we need you to be in studio. Considering I was in the studio five days a week and you mean to tell me all I gotta do is be in studio two days a week? Families, that's just me.

Ocho. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and. Hey.
Matt Castle
Q and A. Hey, you know what? I'm going. I'm going out. I'm going out tonight. You heard me.
Chad Ochocinco
Titus, lay down.
Matt Castle
You hear me on, huh? I'm going out tonight.
Chad Ochocinco
Titles. Sit down. You took the first one off.
Matt Castle
I'm going out tonight.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay? Keychef said, it takes more discipline to work from home than it does in the office environment. You're held to the same standard. People need to stop saying lazy. Stop saying lazy. People working at home. Bro. Bro. You all. You putting the thing on mute. You talking, bro. Stop it. I've talked to people that work from home. Yes, you. You see what I'm doing? Work from home. You gotta pet my dog. You think Tyler's gonna be up on my chair if I'm in the office? It'll take no more discipline. You in PJs. You wear PJs to work. You want Crocs? You want us to work? No. Let's stop it, y'all. Lazy it is. I'm sticking with that. Dr. Frankie L. Bellarmine. Hey, fam. I asked who's sleeping on your shirt. It looks like Sterling, but I can. I can't tell. Care to share the story behind it? That's me and Teddy Bear.
Matt Castle
Where y'all at?
Chad Ochocinco
In the Bay of Sleep.
Matt Castle
Oh, I see. That's the. I see. I see how it is. Okay.
Chad Ochocinco
Me and Teddy Bear. Lanny Ray said. Hey, guys. A little less than two weeks till Nolan. I'm so excited. Get your tickets, everyone. My question is, in your opinion, what's the hardest thing to do in all the sports? Hit a baseball? Ride a bull.
Matt Castle
Hey, riding a Bull ain't hard because I did that.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, it's hard.
Matt Castle
Oh, it's failed.
Chad Ochocinco
It's hard to stay on it for eight seconds. How about that?
Matt Castle
Oh, now you talking. Now, that's hard. Hey, when I got on that bull, obviously there's no way to practice for it. Obviously. Riding a mechanical bull, that was easy because my legs were. I was able to squeeze my legs.
Chad Ochocinco
Because your legs can touch. You could damn near lock your legs. Bingo. You ain't locking your legs around 1500 pounds bull.
Matt Castle
And I looked at the person, the guy, legend, Ty Murray. I looked at Ty, I said, ty, I can't fit my legs. I can't squeeze. He say, I know you can't squeeze. I didn't know they was this fat. It was one big ball of muscle. Well, you got to use your spurs.
Chad Ochocinco
What? He is.
Matt Castle
What happened using my spurs? I didn't use them on a mechanical bull because I could squeeze.
Chad Ochocinco
You ain't squeezing that.
Matt Castle
They open that goddamn shoe. I ain't never. I swear for God, I've never felt the power. On tv, it looked like they moving in slow motion in person. Boy. Boy, that boy.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean. Cause when you think about it, Ocho, you hit a baseball, you get 10 tries. You hit it three out of 10.
Matt Castle
Times, you're a hall of famer, bro.
Chad Ochocinco
You gonna make 700 million, I'm telling you.
Matt Castle
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Catch seven out of 10 footballs, you're gonna be in the employment line. You're gonna be selling cars to coach it. Aaron said, what's up, Uncle? No, Joe. What's the craziest fight you witnessed during practice of the game?
Matt Castle
Craziest fight. Damn.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, fights in practice, it's hard to really do damage. Cause everybody got on helmets.
Matt Castle
Yeah, everybody got on helmets. And the craziest fights for me was every training camp. Every training camp. And obviously, you know, I'm the jokester. I'm the fun guy. I wouldn't fight. But it's always alignment. 11 can fight, always a lineman. And most of the time, it's, you know, offense versus defense. And if two offense, defense, then all the rest of them get into it. That's funny.
Chad Ochocinco
Rodrigo burrito said. Hey. Hey, y'all. Good to see Ocho got his sign up. Also, can we expect to see nightcap merch for pets? Yeah, we gonna make some nightcap merchant pets. Ocho, what are you doing?
Matt Castle
Hello.
Chad Ochocinco
What you doing?
Matt Castle
50 push up real quick.
Chad Ochocinco
You need to dip your elbows in some lotion.
Matt Castle
Huh?
Chad Ochocinco
You need to dip your elbows in some lotion. Good Lord of mercy.
Matt Castle
You know, I don't use no lotion when I'm home. I ain't got nobody to impress. You know, what's the point of. Why would I have my lotion at home? I'm. I'm ashy.
Chad Ochocinco
You are?
Matt Castle
Yeah, it's cool. I'm actually. But I'm swole, though. Huh?
Chad Ochocinco
Nate Harper said uncan. Ocho, what do my Eagles need to do defensively against Jaden Daniels in order to get back to the Super Bowl? Fly, Eagles, fly. Keep him in the pocket.
Matt Castle
Yeah. Tell them ends, tell them book ends. Don't come up that field.
Chad Ochocinco
Go hard. Keep him in the pocket.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
If that man throw for 300 plus and three touchdowns, do not let him outside the pocket because, hey, he gonna. He rushed for 80, 90, 100 yards. Now y'all conscious of trying to stop the run. He gonna throw the ball over your head. Keep him in the pocket. Cal Simpson says, sup, Uncle Nocho? Better fan says, ocho, river dance. Saw the show with you and Cheryl. Was it me or did it sit across from your soulmate and say, nah, I'm not. I'm not interested. Y'all have more chemistry than a periodic table. I've known Cheryl for a very long time, if you noticed. Hold on. If you watched the previous episode, me and Darnell Rollins.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
That was because I've got a sense of humor, because I'm quick witted. We can go back and forth, we can have fun. And that's, for the most part, all the comedians. The comedians do really well because they're entertaining and they can tell a story. Obviously, good comedians, they're used to doing 20, 30, 45 hour sets. So clearly they can tell the story. But when Cheryl got there, she was asking. She like, what can I say? I say, cheryl, be you. She like, for real. Jordan got this. We should have did the out. We should have posted the outtakes. She's like, for real? I said, yeah, be you. I was like, I already know how you gonna be. And what she said when I introduced myself, what she said on. That's exactly what she said that night. She said, ian, I know who you are. I don't know why you think you gotta tell me that. Look, it was a great time and it's always great to see. Like I said, I knew her. I've known her 30 plus years. Donnell. The difference that people like with Donnell, Donnell and Keith Burns, they went to the same high school.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
He's the same age as Burns. Older sister. So they're about Four. They're about a four year difference between those two.
Matt Castle
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
But so I was asking Burns about it. So Burns like, man, I hear you got, you know, Donnell coming on. I like, yeah. I said, so what's he like? He like, hey, he great, funny. Just be you. Y'all go hit it off. So he got there talking Ish too. I'm like, bro, we ain't. I said, okay, so. But it was great. It was great. Cheryl. Cheryl has been Cheryl. Every time I see her when I was at cbs and she would come in, her and Julie and the cast would come in from time to time. We've always had a great relationship. No, ain't nothing pop off. I think she made that abundantly clear. But no, my soul, nah. I think my soulmates between the ages of right now, between the ages of 32 and 42, that's my soul mate.
Matt Castle
I like that.
Chad Ochocinco
You know, but hey, y'all, if y'all. If y'all haven't seen the interview, if you haven't seen the clips, well, you go check it out.
Matt Castle
You gotta go watch that one.
Chad Ochocinco
You got to go check it out.
Matt Castle
Watch that one.
Chad Ochocinco
D. Smith said if Eagles lose, it's a failure. Never going to have a path either to the Super Bowl. That it is. They may. They have way more talent and experience. They do.
Matt Castle
Yeah, they do Better defense, too.
Chad Ochocinco
But it's one game. Anything can happen.
Matt Castle
Anything.
Chad Ochocinco
That's the anything.
Matt Castle
The great thing about football in the playoffs.
Chad Ochocinco
Yep. 35, like a half my age. Plus seven. That's what the honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us.
Matt Castle
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Isaiah Lancaster, uncanocho was the greatest moment in NFL history. Also, Joke. Is the most offensively skilled center in NBA history. It's hard to argue. The only ones I could go as far as skill is a clean olajuwon. But yeah, Joke. You look at less than 800 games, 150 triple doubles, averaging 30. 13 and 9. Almost 10. He's unbelievable. He's unbelievable.
Matt Castle
Oh, Titus, you back again? Well, he done been on you. Didn't be your fault.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, he was in the bed. He was barking. I'm surprised y'all didn't hear it.
Matt Castle
Man, what Teddy at? Man, Teddy didn't even make no appearance.
Chad Ochocinco
Nah, Teddy, Teddy. Him and Teddy got into it today. That's why he got a. He got a thing on his nose. Teddy looked him up.
Matt Castle
Oh, that's funny.
Chad Ochocinco
Teddy looked him up right quick. Hold on. Tiger stripes. John Paxton, Steve Kerr. Each hit game winning finals for Michael Jordan. So why does LeBron get hit? Criticized for when Ray Allen, Cal Korver hit big shots for LeBron. LeBron is the only guy that's not allowed to have his teammates do what they're supposed to do. Nobody says anything. There have been other guys that hit shots. Derek Fischer hit shots. There have been a lot of guys that hit shots. Game winning shots, and they've won games. Klay Thompson hit the shot with that OKC when he made those, when they were down 31 and he made those 11 threes. Ain't nobody say anything about these. Safe stuff. It is what it is. Look, wherever you are in this argument, if you're a Jordan guy, you're going to remain loyal to Jordan. If you're LeBron guy, you're going to stay there. So I've just given up. That's an argument. Ain't nobody going to. It will never end.
Matt Castle
It will never end. You know, that's no different than the argument when it comes to who's the best soccer player in the world. Is it Messi or Christian?
Chad Ochocinco

Episode Title: Nightcap - Hour 2: Shedeur Addresses Haters, O-lineman of the Year Award, Brady Selling Miami Mansion
Overview
In this engaging second hour of the "Nightcap" episode, NFL legend Chad Ochocinco and former quarterback Matt Castle delve into a variety of pressing topics within the football world and beyond. The discussion primarily centers around Shedeur Sanders addressing his critics, the advocacy for an Offensive Lineman of the Year award, and the buzz surrounding Tom Brady’s decision to sell his Miami mansion. Throughout the conversation, Chad and Matt provide insightful commentary, humorous banter, and notable anecdotes that offer listeners a comprehensive look into these subjects.
Timestamp: [04:41] - [06:40]
The episode kicks off with Chad and Matt discussing Shedeur Sanders, son of renowned Deion Sanders. Shedeur has been vocal in addressing those who doubt his capabilities and commitment on and off the field.
Chad Ochocinco shares, “He prioritizes everything around his kid's schedule. He's always been in his kid's life. We should applaud that.” [05:14]
Matt Castle echoes this sentiment, stating, “I wholeheartedly agree with him. Offensive linemen are the protectors and deserve recognition for their crucial role.” [15:14]
The duo emphasizes Shedeur's dedication, highlighting how his actions reflect his commitment to his family and his career. They commend him for maintaining a balanced approach despite the pressures of public scrutiny.
Timestamp: [14:15] - [17:54]
Chad and Matt transition into a passionate discussion about the often-overlooked role of offensive linemen in football. They argue that despite being fundamental to a team's success, linemen rarely receive individual accolades comparable to other positions.
Chad Ochocinco suggests, “Protector of the Year is a great title. Offensive linemen deserve more recognition.” [16:18]
Matt Castle adds, “These guys are the foundation that keeps the quarterback upright and enables a strong running game. They deserve individual achievements for their performance.” [15:14]
They explore the potential impact of introducing such an award, believing it would elevate the status of linemen and acknowledge their indispensable contributions to the game.
Timestamp: [26:12] - [34:43]
The conversation shifts to a lighter topic as Chad and Matt discuss Tom Brady's decision to sell his extravagant Miami mansion. They humorously debate the astronomical prices and the lifestyle that accompanies such high-profile real estate.
Chad Ochocinco quips, “If I call Tom and say, 'Tommy, hang up,' he’d probably be taken aback.” [27:17]
Matt Castle jokes, “With bids over $150 million, I'm trying to get that house for myself.” [26:43]
They mock the exclusivity and opulence of billionaire-level properties, reflecting on the disparities between their own careers and the extravagant lifestyles of top-tier athletes like Brady.
Timestamp: [35:04] - [60:20]
Beyond the main topics, Chad and Matt engage in a series of lively exchanges covering various subjects:
Work Ethic and Remote Work: They debate the merits and challenges of working remotely versus in-office settings, critiquing the modern desire for convenience over hard work.
Chad Ochocinco states, “People want instant gratification and doing the least possible. It’s why they’re broke.” [42:07]
Matt Castle counters, “The way people portray themselves on social media makes it seem like everyone’s rich, but the reality is different.” [43:53]
Child Support Payments: The hosts discuss a humorous anecdote about a woman blocking her ex’s Venmo child support payments, highlighting the absurdity of complicating straightforward financial transactions.
Sports Comparisons and History: They touch upon iconic sports figures, comparing achievements and discussing the never-ending debates surrounding the greatest athletes of all time.
Throughout the episode, Chad and Matt deliver several memorable lines that encapsulate their viewpoints:
Chad Ochocinco: “People are saying $125k is not enough because they want what’s easy. People don’t want to work.” [43:50]
Matt Castle: “We’ve got great quarterbacks, great running backs, but without the offensive linemen, none of that is possible.” [15:14]
Chad Ochocinco: “Protectors deserve the accolades as they safeguard the team’s core.” [16:18]
Timestamp: [60:21] - End
As the episode winds down, Chad and Matt recap the discussions, expressing their anticipation for upcoming NFL games, particularly the showdown between the Eagles and Commanders, and the Buffalo-Kansas City matchup featuring Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
Chad Ochocinco: “Tomorrow night’s game will determine our Super Bowl contestants. Can't wait!” [59:56]
Matt Castle: “Thank you guys for joining us for another episode of Nightcap. We’ll see you tomorrow night after Kansas City and Buffalo.” [60:05]
