There's a difference between liking a house and actually getting it. Redfin is built to make up that difference and close the gap between finding and owning the home for you. Redfin agents close twice as many deals as other agents, so when you find a home you love, you're not a step behind when it comes to making an offer. That means less watching great homes disappear and more focus on the one you'll call home. Redfin helps turn saved listings into real addresses. Get started@redfin.com own the dream thy ticket

Ocho, check this out. Joe Flacco is coming back for another season. The 41 year old quarterback has agreed to a one year deal to stay with the Cincinnati Bengals. The contract is for $6 million, but could be up to 9 worth 9 million with incentives. Flacco went off on NFL teams not signing him to be their number one quarterback. Ocho, let's hear Joe Flacco.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Come on, Flack.
Joe Flacco
I probably do feel that way. I feel like I have unfinished business. That's part of why I'm still here and playing and doing all those things and, and, and not being one of those guys to go sign somewhere. Yeah, it pisses me off a little bit. But, but at the same time, like, I'm, I'm very happy to be here. And that's. And that's also why I don't see this as the end. Like, I, that's just not how I'm viewing it in my mind. Like, I feel like I can help a team win and yeah, it may be in a different role here, but I do still think I can help this team win in that role. I had a lot of fun with Joe and Joe's the guy. And believe me, I wish I was a guy somewhere. And I think teams are dumb for not having me be that guy. But it is what it is and I'm not gonna let me, I'm not gonna let them or it get me down. I'm gonna be the person I am and just approach football the way I always have.
Chad Ochocinco
So how do you, how do you showcase kind of what you can do,
Discover/Toyota Advertiser
you know, Unless Joe goes down, you'll be playing.
Chad Ochocinco
Does that mean you can't. Does that mean.
Joe Flacco
Yeah, no, I'm not even thinking about that, man. It is what it is. I'm just going to approach my job like a professional and be the best I can be in my role and have fun with the guys that I have in this locker room. So what is your unfinished business to you?
Chad Ochocinco
What do you mean by that?
Joe Flacco
Well, I just. I just still feel like I can just like what I always have. Like, listen, I'm a football player. I want to go out there and play and I want to still want to show people that I'm better than you think I am. And all that stuff, just like I always have. And like I said, I understand that what I'm doing here is a little bit different than that, but it doesn't mean I don't still have those thoughts.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, he was the guy in Baltimore.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Had his time, and guess what? Oo, guess what. He was the guy so bad. He was the guy so. Well, they traded back in the first round to take Lamar Jackson. I mean, you.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah, he has to understand how this game works. The game is. The game is different now. He's not seen in the upper echelon of quarterbacks like a Aaron Rogers, he never was. Or like. Like a Tom Brady. So it's different. The game has passed him on. Not only has the game passed them on, he's in a position on a good team with a quarterback that, you know, he's had some injuries. He's had a history of injuries. So this is a great position for him to be in. This is a great position for him to be in because based on Joe Burrow's. Joe Burrow's history, there's a chance that he could get injured. And you will get the opportunity to show you're better than what you make, what you may think you are, and you're able to show teams that you're still capable of. Of playing quarterback now, being quarter quarterback number one. That's probably not going to happen because the NFL has moved on. They're going much younger. And if they wanted to sign you, if they felt you were the one, you were the answer, then obviously you'd probably still be in Cleveland if that was the case. But that. That's just.
Chad Ochocinco
They.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
They moved on.
Chad Ochocinco
Or. Or New York. Oh, yeah. Or New York. Or Indy.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah, I forgot.
Chad Ochocinco
He did.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
He did have a year ending.
Chad Ochocinco
Joe. You haven't been that guy for a long time, Joe. You were a very marginal quarterback. You had tremendous success in the postseason, but you do. But come on, Joe, tell my teams.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
He got to feel confident about himself.
Chad Ochocinco
He gotta be.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
He gotta. He's supposed. He's supposed to feel that way. He's supposed to think that way.
Chad Ochocinco
Ocho, remember he got up to that hard start in Cleveland and then what happened? He went to bed. He got up to the hot start in Cincinnati. What he do? Ocho wet the bed. He get up to the heart starting ending. What happened? Ocho wet the bed. Heart start. The jets wet the bed. Don't you see a real current thing?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah. He's not. He's not the same, Monk. He's not the same. I I think deep down maybe he doesn't know it, maybe he feels he's much better than, than what has been put out on film. But the film is out there. The jury is out there. You know that you at, at best right now you're a backup quarterback and you're a damn good backup quarterback. You're a damn good one, you know. So I, I, he has to understand realistically, he's not the guy he used to be. And he hadn't been that in a long time.
Chad Ochocinco
He hadn't been that in a decade. Yeah, he haven't. He had. Oh, Joe, he. After they won that Super Bowl, Joe Flacco hadn't been the guy. Since they won the Super bowl in 2012, nobody thought. Joe Flacco has never made a. He made the Pro bowl this year because nobody wanted to go. They couldn't get the seventh alternate, the eighth alternate, the ninth alternate, the tenth alternate.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, hold on. 2012. What year Joe?
Chad Ochocinco
Man, what they want? They want. I think Joe Flacco came in the league in 2008-2008-2009-2009 might have been his rookie year. I'm going to say 2009 was.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
What year is this for Flacco?
Chad Ochocinco
2008. Okay, 2008. Ocho.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
God damn.
Chad Ochocinco
So this is year, this is year what, 19.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
And he still think he should be the starter somewhere else
Chad Ochocinco
Damn mind. Hey, and the one thing we know, Ocho, this is what we know. When you really good and you play
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
that position, oh you gonna have a job, a starting job at that. And hold on now, it's only so many like prestigious and being in your 30s playing 19 plus years and still playing at that position, you should be thankful you even on the goddamn roster.
Chad Ochocinco
Thank you.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I mean no disrespect. I mean let's be honest.
Chad Ochocinco
No, it's, it's disrespect. You made it that way. Yeah, you should. How many games did Joe Flacco won since he won that super bowl regular season game. He had led a team to the postseason because when he got hurt, Lamar Jackson came in and he took them to the playoffs.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Easy boy. Lamar went crazy,
Chad Ochocinco
man.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I like, hey, I do like the confidence though. I like the confidence.
Chad Ochocinco
He not confidence. That's delusion and that's disrespectful. He make it seem like if this
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Tom Brady understandable,
Chad Ochocinco
this, this is if this Peyton Manning, even Aaron Rodgers, a four time mvp. A Super bowl mvp. Joe Flacco's an mvp. I'm trying to figure out Joe Flacco has been a backup every. For the most part since he left Baltimore, he's been a backup.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Now all of a sudden he. In year 19, when he's been a backup basically from 2016 on, Lamar came into what, 2018. So basically for 20. So the last nine years, he's been a backup, basically. So now all of a sudden in 20, his 19 season, he should be a starter. Teams are dumb. And he can help a team win. You can help a team win the number one overall draft pick next year. That's what you can.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I know what I can give him credit for. I can't give him credit when he does start. For some reason, he going a 5, 6 game streak looking like goddamn hell on wheels. Boy. He look like hell on wheels. When he, when he, when he, when he started. When, when Burrow got hurt. And they, and they.
Chad Ochocinco
In 10 starts last year, guess what his record was in 10 starts?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
What, two and two and two and eight. Oh, I said. I was getting ready to say. I said two and something.
Chad Ochocinco
The man, since he left Baltimore, he fell like Lucifer from the heavens.
T Mobile/US Cellular Advertiser
No.
Chad Ochocinco
Never to rise again. If you know the story, God kicked him out.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, you, you. I think he has to understand too. GMs look at that. They look at your. They look at your past records. They look at what you've done on other teams, coming in as a backup. I mean, every, everything is shortlived. You get, you get, you get some nice magic, but that magic doesn't last very long. You give you a good five or six games and that's pretty much it. Hey, hey, hey, hey. He Trey. He tripping. He tripping.
Chad Ochocinco
Lord have mercy.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I'm surprised nobody said nothing.
Chad Ochocinco
You do, Ocho. Being. Being. Being confident and delusional is a skill in and of itself. To be confident and not delusional is a skill in and of itself. Oh, my goodness. We ain't got no problem with the man. The man's still in the league. He can still play. Oo. Ain't nobody beating down Joe Flacco doors because they don't believe he's the guy that can help us win anything. He can help us if the kite goes down. He could keep us afloat for three, four weeks. But ain't nobody trying to make Joe Flacco this starter.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Nah, he's in a good. Hey.
Chad Ochocinco
Then for him to sit up there and say teams are dumb, bro. Hold on. What, what did. Wasn't he on somebody? Wasn't he on his couch for a couple of. A couple of days last year. Or he started the season in Cleveland. No, he started in Cleveland.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah, he was a starter.
Chad Ochocinco
But where was that the year before? Because he got picked up off the couch somewhere. Maybe that was. Maybe that was the Jazz. Maybe that was indeed.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah, I forgot. I forgot where that was.
Chad Ochocinco
Cu. Remember he was taking his kids to school and he was doing all that? Yeah. In 2023. Oh, he was on his couch.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Where'd he go?
Chad Ochocinco
They thought so that Joe. They thought Joe Flacco was so great of a quarterback that nobody signed him in the off season because he. They knew he could help them win. And Cleveland got desperate. Cause they got hurt and they called him up off his couch.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Now Flacco flat, Flacco tripping, man.
Chad Ochocinco
He's in a good look at what it. Look at the teams that's signing him. It's not an accident.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. You take. You don't. You taking a shot at my Bengals.
Chad Ochocinco
The Bengals are signing him up for to be a backup. But when he signed it, when he went to Cleveland, what were Cleveland. When he played for the jets, what were the Jets.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Okay, I got you.
Chad Ochocinco
We decided with Indy, what were Indy.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Okay, I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you.
Chad Ochocinco
I, I, I, I did this, this delusion that this man, he's been average his entire NFL career. Yes, he's had it in the playoffs, but what happens when we don't get to the playoffs? Ain't nobody, Ain't nobody. The guy prior to this year, the guy goes to the suit, goes to the. Makes the pro. The Pro bowl in his 18th season. Because, oh, they, they did. They wouldn't take me or Ocho because Ocho and I, we had to do nightcap. So they said, okay, we gonna call Joe Flacco then.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Damn, Flack. Hey, hey, you gotta slow down. That's. That's still my quarterback too.
Chad Ochocinco
Now.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
That's still. That's still my quarterback.
Chad Ochocinco
Well, if you like your chance of winning, you better hope he don't play. Now Chase gonna get his numbers. T gonna catch his balls.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Pause football.
Chad Ochocinco
Pause football. But, man, the mere fact. I would not have been as angry if this man had the nerve to call 31 other teams that did not sign him dumb.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I mean, think. Think about some other teams that, that need a quarterback. What teams actually need a quarterback right now?
Chad Ochocinco
Not that quarterback.
True Nature Meats Advertiser
Oh,
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
the jury is out. Hell, the Raiders
Chad Ochocinco
ain't no jury out. They done came back with Arizona. They came back with the verdict 10 years ago. I'm trying to think Joe Flacco is no longer a quarterback that can help us win a championship.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Who else?
Chad Ochocinco
As a matter of fact, it's done been appealed. It's done went to the appellate level. It's been appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court. Those nine men and women have already said that. Hey, rule it down is final.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yes. Hey.
Chad Ochocinco
Damn. Joe Flacco's a guy. Congratulations. He played 19 years. Congratulations. We don't do lifetime achievement here. This man. This man still. He still. Look, he's. He's gotten a lot out of that super bowl, and that says something because it's not easy to win a Super Bowl. I'm not going to sit here and pretend he played phenomenal. He went on the road and. And beat Peyton Manning. He went on the road and beat Tom Brady. He beat Andrew Luck at home, and then he beat Colin Kaepernick, who's one of the hottest quarterbacks in the NFL in the Super Bowl. So I'm not taking that away from him. But in the process of winning a Super bowl, which he earned, he did that. That team did that. He was a part of a winning team. He did that. But what am I supposed to do with all this regular season since then? What am I supposed to do with the regular season before then?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
But you. You also have to understand why he's still getting jobs too, huh? Even if it is a backup. Because he's being. He's being able to coattail off of that Super Bowl Championship, off of being that super bowl mvp.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, we. We hope he don't have to play. I mean, look, like I said, Ocho, if he has to play, we can get three to four games. He'll win one or two games for you. The problem is when it goes. When it goes. He has to play the end of September all the way through midway November.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah. Well, hopefully, God damn, Joe is able to stay upright and stay injury free this year, so we ain't got no problems.
Chad Ochocinco
That. That would definitely help y'. All. Cause you believe that you guys are gonna get depth, you're gonna be better defensively. You believe that we.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, we. We trending in the right direction.

Purdue. Yep.

Chad Ochocinco
I say, yeah, I think Purdue's gonna win. And he's gonna have to play well in order for them to win.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I got it. Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
All right, we got. Oh, Joe's boy, Darius Acuff. He's gonna have 31 and a half points and assist. So he'll have at least 32 points. When you consider points.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Absolutely. Absolutely.

Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I'm going. No, I'm. I'm going to Boston tomorrow in the morning.
Chad Ochocinco
To do what?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I'm going to see France and Brazil and they're a little friendly at Gillette Stadium.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay. France.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah. Soccer. I'm not sure if Mbappe's playing. He has a knee problem right now. I'm not sure if he's gonna play. Honestly, if I was him, being that he is hurt or something's going on, I wouldn't play him in the friendly. It's no point. The World Cup. Just wait for the World cup until June. But if they called him up, I'm sure. I'm sure he gonna play.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay. I hope so.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
We got to go to a game. Huh?
Chad Ochocinco

Chad Ochocinco
I don't know. I might stand you up for that one. It's time. It's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, that was a good one. That was a good one.
Chad Ochocinco
Before we get to the super chats, we've got a video voicemail from our discord. This one comes from tj. Let's take a listen to what TJ had to say.
TJ (Discord caller)
What's up, nightcap family? Just want to say what's going on. Been watching you guys since day one. Want to say what's up, the OO ISO Joe. I appreciate what you guys doing for a young brother like myself out here in this harsh world, many nights, your word travel, uplift me, maybe laugh, maybe think about things and help me think about my life as a man. Just want to let you guys know that you're doing something great and special. Keep going. What are you guys doing to, like, bring somebody else along in a bit, you know, interviewing some young man? See where you can take them in life?
Chad Ochocinco
We do have an internship program where we take. Basically, we take normally 2. I think it's 2 to 3, 2, 1. This year, we take one person from an HBCU and we let them see how the business works, see if there's something that they want to do. They want to produce, be on the producer side. They want to do graphics, they want to do editing, social, whatever the case may be. We bring them in and we try to give them behind the look of what it's actually like and what it entails in order to get into this business and let them see how much work actually comes along with this ocho. So that's. That's kind of what we do. I get people from time to time. Guys reach out from time to time and. And ask me questions. I don't volunteer information anymore.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Why not?
Chad Ochocinco
You know, because it's just better. People reach out. I think it's better received when people reach out. It'll be better received because I don't want people that. Well, ain't nobody asked you for that. So I was just like, you know what? You're right. You're exactly right. He didn't ask me for that. I should keep my damn mouth shut. That's what I do. So when guys reach out, I have no problem picking up the phone. They're like, hey, do me. Hey, can I have your number? I want to ask you and run something by you. I shoot my number, they hit me up, we have a conversation. Goes no further than them. Them and I having a conversation. But yeah, that's that. That's kind of the approach that we tj that we take. I do try to give back to my HBCUs because I think some of them do want to get into this line of work, and maybe they don't have the same advantages as some of the other schools do. So that's my way of trying to give back.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Samuel Grant said Flacco done got on the UN skin so bad. He done went biblical on now. I don't like the fact that he talked about teams are done for not signing him. Nah, they smart. Hey, can he bridge quarterback in a running offense? Maybe Arizona if they draft the qb.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Wait, say that again.
Chad Ochocinco
He said, oh, they talk about. Oh, I guess he's talking about Flacco. Flacco could be a bridge quarterback and then running up. I guess if Arizona drafts a quarterback. So they said, like, he could be the bridge. But even in the bridge, teams are trying to win and hold on, wait.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Back to that question. How many teams in the NFL are running, are running teams anyway in this past happy league because you can't win running the ball. This ain't the early 2000s. It's not the 90s.
Chad Ochocinco
It is absolutely not. It is absolutely not, Ocho. I promise you, if Arizona thought Joe Flacco was the answer. Kevin Boat Knight. What's up? Nightcap? Your boy 46 today. Had a blast with the wife. Enjoyed my day, my weekend, and enjoy my Shea by La Portea. Happy birthday. Thank Kev. Thank you, bro.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Happy birthday, my boy.
Chad Ochocinco
Happy 46th birthday, man. You and the wife, y' all did something. I know you. You order sparks, cuz, you know, hey, when you ready to perform as you saw Tom Brady this weekend, he still got it. Them roast sparks. Have a faking. You still got it. I'm telling you, they won't let you down. But happy birthday, bro. Thank you for the support because you jump. Jump in the chats all the time. I see your name in the chat, the super chat. So, man, we'll really, really appreciate that. Waukesh. Imagine Pistol Pete in this era,
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
bro.
Chad Ochocinco
Y' all do realize, like, Pistol Pete shot like 41%, 42%. He was shooting the ball like 37, 38 times a game. Jesus. Yes, he averaged 44, but he was taking the damn near 40 shots to get it. And I. It was fancy passing. Look, nobody shot high percentages back then. Guys are better. It's called evolution. Guys. There are more guys that can shoot the ball better and. And do things better than what it happens. It's. It happens in baseball. I mean, baseball now, guys don't hear for average because now they've changed it. They just want you to hit the damn ball on the fence. So guys are swinging, trying to dance, trying to get no singles, no doubles. They ain't trying to move the runner. They trying to move the runner around the base pads. Bill hitting the ball over the fence. But basketball, Ocho, these guys, there are more guys that can shoot the ball at a higher clip than what they could in the past, and that's okay. Brendan Thomas, 4134. Hey, y'. All. My wife Gabrielle and I had our eight year anniversary on Monday, and she's been my ride or die from the very beginning throughout my military career. Can you guys give her an anniversary and appreciation shout out? We absolutely can. Gabrielle, thank you. Thank you for allowing Brennan to be the best he can do and protect us. Because while we get it up, Ocho and I get an opportunity. And a lot of men and women in this country, it's people like your husband Brennan that goes out there and makes sure we sleep well at night. So we're glad he's on that wall. And you, Gabrielle, thank you because you hold it down and for him to get on here and ask us to give you an appreciation shout out to. Not just an anniversary, an appreciation for what you do. Because, you know, a lot of times these military families, they have people that are counting on them and want them to see them come home, and that sometimes goes unnoticed. But we just want you to know, Brennan, it doesn't go unnoticed here at Nightcap. We appreciate you and we appreciate you, Gabrielle, for allowing him to be the best he possibly can be. So happy anniversary and happy appreciation.

GMAC2 the the last greatest pro game with high competition with the 2024 Olympics US vs Serbia and Paris in French. He meant the French team. It was in Paris, hands down. It was. It was great. They were down. Basically the whole game from by Serbia was down by as many as I think 12, 14 points. And LeBron and Steph and Katie said, nah, we ain't losing this. You're not.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
That's the game. Steph went crazy with the back to back threes.
Chad Ochocinco
That was. No, that was the France. That was France. But that was great game and whoo. That was too close for my liking. Oh, I'm looking for something. Hold on.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Let me use the bathroom. I drink too much water.
Chad Ochocinco
Go ahead. I drunk a bunch too, but I'm gonna let you have it. No, no, no, no, no, no.

Somebody said in the chat because I
TJ (Discord caller)
said
Chad Ochocinco
Pete Maravich was shooting the ball 38, 39 times. And somebody said that's a lie. If y' all go look, it Up. Pete Maravich as a sophomore shot the ball 39.3 type field goal attempts a game his sophomore year. His. That was his. His fresh sophomore year because freshman couldn't play back then. Ocho. And then he shot the ball 37 and a half times per game. And then he shot the ball his last game last year, he shot the ball 37.7 times a game. He made 16 of those field goals. So he shot 42%. 44. 44. See, y' all jump in the chat and y' all just say anything. Do y' all realize that when I come here, I come prepared? Now, I had no idea that we're gonna talk about Pete Maravich, but I've read enough. Just in case some smart ass think they can throw some stuff out there that can stump me. You can't.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
You can't stomp the. You can't stump the swab.
Chad Ochocinco
You can't. Now go look it up. Now, I said he shot the ball 38, 39 times. Did I not tell you that?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
You said that.
Chad Ochocinco
Now I'm just going back from stuff from. From years ago reading about this because I'm like, how in the hell is this man scored averaging 40 something points a game. How many times did he shoot the ball? Granted that as a guard you're not shooting no high percent considering most guards you taking a lot of shots. A lot of shots. Some of those shots are for distance. Naughty man. Now you. I'm just saying. Now you jump. No, jump back. Put something else in the chat. I'm saying, I don't know. O. I just. Oo what it is.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, I. I don't.
Chad Ochocinco
I do some. Not all. For the most part, most of our chat. But what, what is it about some people that jump in the chat don't want to try to.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
They trying to. They trying to. Trying to question your basket. Your basketball acumen.
Chad Ochocinco
Huh?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Your basketball knowledge. I mean, when it. When it comes to that, even though you play football, I'm not sure at this point why they even question that. That would be. That would be like them questioning my football knowledge of. Or hell, even questioning my soccer knowledge. Because the funny thing about it is, which is kind of weird is I can talk soccer, the history of the game, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and currently better than I can't. Better than I can football. Which is. Which is. Which is weird.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, but I'm saying. But the thing is. Oo to be good to. To get. Because I've always. I've always liked sports, but I. And I Think the thing is, because when I went and did. When I did. When I first did First Take, the first time I went on First Take, I didn't have a producer. I didn't have nobody. I didn't have nobody to give me information. I just went up there and whatever Skip wanted to talk about, we talked about. And I'm just pulling stuff off my head. And he's looking at me. He's like. And the producers look. Looking at me like. And then I come back again. They was like, well, you guys, like, I'm good. They're like, what do you want to talk about? I say, whatever you want to talk about. I do. I want to talk about. But then I understood. So to read. But y' all got. I'm almost 58. A lot of the stuff that I be talking about, I watched, I saw it, I've read about it. I read when it used to be with sports. I mean, I read and was consumed with it because I wanted to do something in this field. Yeah. Yes. I might mispronounce this or get a year off, you know, might as well. Like, I was like, I think Flacco, 2008, 2009. So let's go with 2009. Okay. I was off a year, but I have a pretty good idea because I think it's my job. And I know somebody y' all talking about. Oh, you got Reese. I said, first of all, a lot of stuff that I'm throwing that I'm. That I don't know what we're going to talk about, and I don't know if it's going to come up. So we might be talking about something Ocho, but I don't know if Ocho's like, well, such and such. What year was what? What year was that? I don't know what you're going to ask me. I don't know what the chat's going to ask me, but I have to have a pretty good understanding. Like basketball. When I was telling, I was like, Joe, the really first buzzer beat that I remember in March Madness was us. Reed hit a shot. I think it was like 81 against Louisville. Ash looked it up, and I can always tell with ass drop ahead. But I'm just saying, I just like, look, guys, I mean, I'm just trying to give you the. The best information I possibly can. And I'm just saying. And I'm not trying to diminish what Pistol Pete did. He did that. But I'm saying he shot the ball 39 times a game.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
That's crazy. Pete was good, though, huh? He was good. Even though he had.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, yeah. Yes. He was ahead of his time because he was flashy. The way he'd be drilling the ball and do. Yeah, yeah. And then, you know, do all that stuff and. But he was the one of the first one behind the back passes, and then he cuff it like he's going
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
come back with it.
Chad Ochocinco
And then he lay it up. He was shooting from distance, and they didn't have the three point line. So it had been interesting to see how many points he would have actually averaged had he had to had the three point line.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Okay.
Chad Ochocinco
Because he shot. That's why I didn't shoot such a high percentage. He shot a bunch, but he was shooting from distance. Hometown. Yo. So now the two lovely foreign ladies. When you talk about Houston, are you admitting Houston, Miami? Cause when I was in Miami, I was like, food me yams, oxtail, Mac and cheese is crazy. So he's asking, are you saying Houston and Miami are the equivalent?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
No, no. I think when you, when you come here to Miami, you hear me, UNC
Chad Ochocinco
is like, it's like they got a smorgasbord. You talk about smorgasbord. Yeah, yeah.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
It's a buffet, huh? You hear me?
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. So you talking about they got Dominicans, they got Puerto Ricans, they got, they got Cubans, they got Colombians, they got Americans, they got Russian, Ukrainians.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
It doesn't matter what you want with every.
Chad Ochocinco
It's a United nations of women.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Every ethnicity you can think of is here. It's a melting pot for that. When you go to, when you go to Houston, Unk is us. It's a lot of us.
Chad Ochocinco
It's foo for us.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
And man, listen, I don't know, but, God, I, I, I still don't understand how people could live in Houston. For those that do live there, I'm not sure how you have the discipline to do so over time, but, man. Well, it's a sight to see, huh? It's a sight to see.
Chad Ochocinco
JJ Carvaso petition to get ash&t raised when the channel hits 2 million subs. And another race where the channel hit 1 billion views. Let's get it. Show wouldn't be the same without them either. Absolutely. I think all the, you know. Oh, no, no, no. They're good. They good.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, well, hey, hey. When we hit two, me and so let's give the graphic team. I don't know who shooters. I'm in public. They don't even talk about the show. No. More they asking who do the goddamn graphics?
Chad Ochocinco
Who?
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hey, but that was funny, man. I said. I said I sat next to somebody on the goddamn plane. Boy, 20 minutes was a conversation on the graphics. And they showing me all the different ones we've used so far.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, yeah, they. They, you know, look, team work hard so you know, when we can get a day or two here there, we. We definitely try to let them, let them get a chance to decompress, you know. Now we Wednesday and we going all the way to next Monday. So, you know, they. They do work hard. They. They work incredibly hard. And I'm definitely proud of the team that we put together here. So hopefully we. We can continue to work. Barry Gang, the reason so many people have an issue with Bam's 83 is because it's about as impressive as the 2024 All Star game. The 1 in 1211 to 186. It was so exciting that they changed the format. I get it. But let me ask you a question. If anybody. How many other people other than Bam have ever scored 80 points in a ball game? Wilt got a hundred and I think it was 62. And Kobe in 2005, well, it was January 06, maybe the 22nd. What day that was. Kobe School scored them 80, 81 points. I think it was January 22nd of 2006 because it was the same day the Broncos lost to the Steelers in the AFC championship game. Oh, damn. I'm sorry. As you ain't got to shake. You see, I asked you. We. Oh, January 22nd. Damn. But I just remember because the Broncos had played. Had played the Steelers and they lost in the championship game on their home field. Ben was a second year quarterback. It's the. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, other guys have tried to feed the ball, you know, like T. Mac brought up a. David Robinson scored 71 and 94 against the Clippers. They force fed him the ball because they wanted him to get. Get the record. No, they wanted him to win the scoring title.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Oh, be Shaq out.
Chad Ochocinco
He beat Shaq out for the scoring title. That happens. Guys, it's okay
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
if.
Chad Ochocinco
If you look at Bam's 83 and if it takes any luster off the. Kobe's 81. I don't know what to tell you. It doesn't. I don't think any. I was like, well, Kobe. Kobe's 81. That ain't impressive. Not hell
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
where you go. Oh, the chat can still hit me. Oh, hey, chat. Anka's working on some technical difficulties, but.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. Yeah. Chat. See, uncle's computer died, so he's going through some technical difficulties right now. So we gonna get him hooked back up, but in the meantime, I'm gonna carry on and boom, we talk about Bam's 83 points. Obviously.
Chad Ochocinco
Obviously.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
You know, my basketball knowledge is nowhere near that of that of monks, but being that only two other people have done it before, obviously, no matter how. No matter how it was done, history was made. Some people is not going to sit well with obviously. And hell, it's a feat. It's a feat. He made history. It is what it is. It doesn't take anything away from what Kobe. What Kobe did. And the way Kobe got his. Don't take anything away from Wilt and the way he got his. Even though there's been no footage of Wilt actually doing it. But I guess people don't, Don't. Don't see fit. The way Bam scored his. His, his, his 83. But history's already been made. There's nothing we can do about it. UN you can see me? UN I can see you, Chad. We got unc. We got. We. We got. We got un we got Jordan there trying to get UN Together over. I would have a joke, but I didn't prepare one for the night.
Chad Ochocinco
Can you.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I got you now.
Chad Ochocinco
That's a Jordan. I don't even come in. I don't even come in this room. Jordan come in the room, cut everything on, and the computer died. That's all Jordan. Yep. I'm good. You good? Nope. I ain't good. That's Jordan. Ain't no technical. Ain't taking no blame for that. You did that. He told me. Take the blame. Nope.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I, I. I just. I just called it. He was called the technical difficulties.
Chad Ochocinco
It was.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Hold on.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey.
Jennifer
Hold on.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
My. My. You see my light. My light died in the middle of the show earlier.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. I say, well, damn. They just went. This went black. They were. Damn. But look, I. I'm a firm believer, O. Joe, is that somebody's accomplishment doesn't dim. Somebody else's accomplishment doesn't. If I win an award, somebody else win ten of them. Okay. I'm happy for you. It don't take no shine off my one.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
Got yours. It don't matter how you got it either. You got it.
Chad Ochocinco
Sure don't. Real sports talk. What do you guys think about Dano do Dan Olofsky saying Simpson over Mendoza.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
That's his pick, man.
Chad Ochocinco
D. I. I thought Ty Simps. I thought he was play. I thought he played well. I thought he kind of regressed towards the end of the year. OO where he didn't play well. But we'll see. That's the thing about it.
Co-host (possibly 'Ocho')
I don't see. I don't know what Dan is looking at. Man, I love Dan. Dan. I. I love. I love his takes. I love his knowledge about the position. And obviously, you don't need to be Tom Brady to be able to talk about the game when you watch film and, and you excel very well at watching film and watching players and being an assessment on what you think they're going to be at the next level. But to even say Ty Simpson is better than Mendoza based on the sample size that we've seen from Mendoza in his senior season at Indiana is ridiculous. That's a horrible take. That's. That's. That's a horrible take. Like, come on, Dan. You, you, you, you. Come on. Now. I understand you might like the kid. I understand you might like. You might want to, you know, pump him up for whatever reason, being that your voice and your platform might hold some type of weight when it comes to the draft process. But he's. He's not Mendoza. And if. If he was anything like that, I think the Alabama Crimson Tide would have looked a little better in certain games where he should have been able to take over and elevate that team when things weren't going well and he didn't.
Chad Ochocinco

Hosts: Shannon Sharpe ("Unc") & Chad Ochocinco Johnson ("Ocho")
This episode centers on the decision of 41-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco to re-sign with the Cincinnati Bengals and his comments asserting that NFL teams are "dumb" for not considering him a starting QB. Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco dive into Flacco's self-perception, career arc, and the realities of aging in the NFL. The second half of the show shifts to their signature "Play or Fade" sports pick segment and a lively Q&A covering NBA scoring feats, mentorship, and cultural commentary.
[02:31 – 04:33]
"I feel like I have unfinished business... I think teams are dumb for not having me be that guy." – Joe Flacco [03:20]
"I just still feel like I can just like what I always have... I want to still show people that I'm better than you think I am." [04:07]
[04:33 – 09:57]
"Joe, you haven't been that guy for a long time. You were a very marginal quarterback. You had tremendous success in the postseason, but... come on, Joe." – Chad Ochocinco [05:57]
"He hadn't been that in a decade. He made the Pro Bowl this year because nobody wanted to go. They couldn't get the 7th alternate, the 8th alternate..." – Ocho [07:08]
[09:02 – 11:47]
"I like the confidence though. I like the confidence." – Co-host [08:57]
"He not confident. That's delusion and that's disrespectful. ...If this is Tom Brady, understandable." – Ocho [09:02]
[11:47 – 14:39]
