T Sizzle
Let's transition to some sports Mano. I know you say you the biggest football.
Riley Herbs
I'm limited, but help me out. Come on.
T Sizzle
Let's go into it as. As a true New Yorker, right? I wanna. I wanna hear from you. Who's your. Who's your New York team in basketball first? Knicks. Neds, who you. Who you rocking with?
Riley Herbs
I'm. I'm. Well, we got two teams now, but I'm. I'm Brooklyn all day for sure.
Colin Cowherd
All right.
Riley Herbs
I gotta start there.
Colin Cowherd
You gotta know that.
Riley Herbs
Gotta start. Brooklyn. Brooklyn, man, he ain't gonna go, I gotta start Brooklyn. I mean, come on. I mean, listen, man. The king of all boroughs. Like, I gotta start this.
Colin Cowherd
Only right.
T Sizzle
It's only right. All right. The Yankees or the Mets?
Riley Herbs
Come on.
Colin Cowherd
That's too easy.
Riley Herbs
Yankees. Okay.
Colin Cowherd
Is there New York Met fans? I thought all like, met friends from, like. Jerk.
Riley Herbs
My grandmother makes you rest in peace. Used to be a. A die hard Mets fan and used to take me to Mets games when I was little. She loved the next.
T Sizzle
Yeah, loyal bunch.
Colin Cowherd
So it's not.
T Sizzle
Not like the Yankees, but they're here.
Colin Cowherd
They won't. They had Strawberry and all of them. I can't.
Riley Herbs
I'm like, that's that era right there. Dwight Gooden. Dwight Good, Daryl Strawberry. That's that era.
Colin Cowherd
So, like, I can't think of any other Mets players besides them, too. Why is that?
Riley Herbs
Because that was.
Colin Cowherd
Why is that? I can't think.
Riley Herbs
That's.
Colin Cowherd
Because I can't think of any of the Mets players.
Riley Herbs
That was. That was the. That was their time right there. That was their era. That was that moment that they had. That they had the city and they was winning and Daryl Strawberry was sending them out the park and they had the whole city behind them and the nation was like, oh, the mess. And Dwight Gooden was pitching and Darryl Strawberry smoking a little bit of crack.
Colin Cowherd
It was the 80s.
Riley Herbs
Yeah. Yeah. A little bit of crack.
Colin Cowherd
Come on, man, you know, strike him.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, a little bit of crack.
Colin Cowherd
Terry, what year was you born?
T Sizzle
I'm. I was born 91.
Colin Cowherd
Damn. For real? You're not.
Riley Herbs
80S, baby.
Colin Cowherd
I was gonna say all those 80s, baby. Got a little bit of crack residue on us. Like it was random. It was everywhere. You know what I'm saying? Like. Like it destroyed the black community. But technically speaking, like that tent. At that time, in the 80s, crack was like smoking weed. Like, it was the cool thing to do, I guess in the 80s. So all those 80 babies got a little bit of, like, you never Know what happened at a party? You don't know how your dad cracks your mom. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. I don't know. Correct.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, that was, that was the Mets. Yeah.
Colin Cowherd
Daryl Strawberry, you know, he's hitting a little bit of crack, you know what I'm saying? You know, I mean, still doing his thing. Yeah. I mean.
Riley Herbs
Yeah. Huh.
T Sizzle
Jets or Giants?
Riley Herbs
Giants. Big blue.
Colin Cowherd
Big Blue. So they're like, the trend is like the all New York, but Brooklyn, like, Brooklyn was like the new team. So. Yankees.
Riley Herbs
So the Nets.
Colin Cowherd
The Nets came from, it came from jurors. Yeah.
Riley Herbs
So. And then they came to Brooklyn. Yeah.
Colin Cowherd
So your teams is.
T Sizzle
Yeah.
Riley Herbs
Put them all away.
Colin Cowherd
Them the only sports that have two teams, right? Well, three. They don't. They don't have two hockey teams?
Riley Herbs
Well, no. Well, the, the, the jets and the Giants actually play in Jersey. Yeah, they play in Jersey, but they, they New York team.
T Sizzle
MetLife. MetLife now.
Colin Cowherd
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Riley Herbs
MidLife. MetLife. Yeah.
T Sizzle
I need to fix it.
Riley Herbs
New York. Yeah. I mean, of course the, the Knicks, you know, Knicks had us all riled up a few days.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah.
Riley Herbs
A few weeks ago.
T Sizzle
You think they get it done next year?
Riley Herbs
I mean, with the, with the energy. We gotta maintain that energy, man.
T Sizzle
Do they have a. I feel like.
Riley Herbs
If we, if we could.
T Sizzle
They have enough on the roster to get it done to win a ring.
Riley Herbs
The way they threw that coach out of there like that, man, I'm like, damn. Like he got like, like he ain't get no credit. Like he got blamed for not getting it done. But we haven't even went that far in.
Colin Cowherd
They find steps. Yeah, well, you know, he got a reputation of like beating his players up. Like, you know, they blame him for D Roll. What you mean?
Riley Herbs
What you mean beating him up?
Colin Cowherd
Like the season is so long, he don't like divert. Like I remember, I want to say it was like last year's playoffs. Y' all had like eight healthy guys because everybody was injured. You know what I'm saying? Like he has a reputation of being like a, a hard nosed coach and just like his teams can't finish or get it done because they're so beat up and they so injured. Like, remember like D. Rose had his MVP year and then, you know, they ran into Miami and the King James did. And I don't think, I'm not sure if it was the next year to follow him, but like he was playing D. Rose and they was up like 20 and then like a game one of a playoff or something. Like, he should. D. Rose should have been sitting down and Tibbs was, like, working them still and end up hurting them, you know what I'm saying? Like, everybody in Chicago blamed Tom Thibodeau for D. Rose, like, not, like, becoming.
Riley Herbs
Like, being able to produce.
Colin Cowherd
But, yeah, they do.
T Sizzle
They talk about his lack of rotations, for sure. He leads a starters in the whole game. Everybody playing a lot of minutes. Let's. Let's stay on this. Stay on this football wave, man. No, we working now.
Riley Herbs
Come on, let's work.
T Sizzle
Brown's insider reveals Kenny Pickett's superpower that gives him the edge over Shadow Sanders and company for the quarterback battle down in Cleveland. T. Sizzle, you know that this conference very well. A lot of games against the Cleveland Browns. Should there be concern in the Browns, with the Browns organization, that Shador would not even get a fair shot at the number one spot?
Colin Cowherd
No. Are you asking me or Mayo?
T Sizzle
I'm.
Riley Herbs
No, you have to be asking you.
T Sizzle
I'm asking both. I want to. I want to hear your thoughts on Shador and the whole draft situation. May know, but Sizzle, I want. I want to ask you, do you think Shador has a fair shot of taking that, the number one job?
Colin Cowherd
Yep, he does. For the simple fact that, you know, Cleveland has a very loyal fan base, and if Kenny Pick is not getting it done, they gonna want him out of there. And, like, they. They drafted two quarterbacks. They brought in two other ones, you know, or three other ones, you know what I'm saying? So, like, I think he will, especially because people want to see him, you know what I'm saying? Like, everybody kind of want that Lamar Jackson feel, you know what I'm saying? We got a chance to win because this guy is under center, you know what I'm saying? I think they definitely want, like, Shador to kind of, like, be they star, you know what I'm saying? He was a big. He had a big. You know, I mean, he did good. He was very successful in college, you know what I'm saying? Under the spotlight. Like, they want. Like, Cleveland's gonna want that kid to play. They want to see what he can do. They want to see what he can do early, you know what I'm saying? Like, they're not gonna wait around. Like, they. They're very. They're gonna become very impatient. Like, I don't.
T Sizzle
I don't think he get to start immediately. I think will start the year. Yeah, go start the year. And I can see Shador taking over week six. Early.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah, pretty early.
T Sizzle
I think.
Riley Herbs
So.
T Sizzle
I think. I think the Browns would be not that competitive, honestly.
Colin Cowherd
Right.
T Sizzle
And early in the season, I think it'll be the best situation for them to see what they got, and Shador will give them that best chance to go win. So I think about week six, he'll be inserted as a starting qb.
Colin Cowherd
Is John Watson not still on a roster, is he?
T Sizzle
He's still on the roster.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah.
T Sizzle
But he was coming back from injury, right?
Colin Cowherd
Is he. Has he been, like, participating in all of that?
T Sizzle
No, he came off. He's coming off an Achilles.
Colin Cowherd
Oh, yeah. So he ain't been doing no. No. No team drills. No OTAs. And then. So I. I can't speak. I'm not a Cleveland fan, but I think they want Deshaun Watson out. I think they, like, cheered or some. When he got hurt. Some stupid. So I think, you know, the Cleveland. The Cleveland fan base want a new. New quarterback under center. I'm a big Joe Flacco fan. I'm always gonna stand by the veteran quarterback, you know what I'm saying? But, like, Kenny Pickett, I don't think anybody in the league fears Kenny Picket. I'm gonna be totally honest with you, you know what I'm saying? You know, in the league, we call a spade a spade. You know what I'm saying? The film don't lie. Like, I don't think anybody's ever went into a game like, yo, we can't make no mistakes because Kenny Pickett's gonna make us play, make us pay for it. Like, you know, that dude Oxborough. Like, dude in Foxborough, like, you make a mistake, he know it pre snap. And I'm gonna light y' all asses up, you know, breathe the good ones know, before the ball's even snapped. You know what I'm saying? So I don't. I don't. I don't feel that from Kitty Pickett. Like, I would never go into a game like, yo, I gotta have my best game because we're playing Kitty Pickett. I'm like, no, I'm gonna get off and get, like, three or four of them. You know what I'm saying? Like, nobody fears. Like, I. I'm basically honest as a defensive player. I wouldn't fear Kenny Pickett. You know what I'm saying? And is that the same guy, Miles Gary, hitting the head with the. With the helmet and their teammates now?
T Sizzle
Damn.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. Wow.
T Sizzle
You know, he gonna be protecting Miles walking around with two helmets everywhere. He got him.
Colin Cowherd
He got his back. Hey, Miles. Gary, one of the best players in the league, hands down, but I don't think I could ever, like, get over a guy hit me in the head with a helmet. I didn't have no helmet on.
T Sizzle
He like. He like a molded, too. Yeah, yeah. No.
Colin Cowherd
And if it wasn't for penalty, they wouldn't have did nothing like. Like Marcus Bouncy, the one like, oh, I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna get it on with him. But everybody else was like, hey, man, he went, all right, but now ain't nobody feeling pick. I think like you said. I'm not sure it'd be week six, I think, because if you know how the draft went, it might be a rebellious thing. Like, we don't want to give him. Like, we don't want to hand him the offense so early and so young, too.
T Sizzle
About that dress.
Riley Herbs
A question. What. What? Why? And I guess this is about Shadow, why they played with him at the. At the draft, why he wasn't in the round.
T Sizzle
I want to ask you, man, no further. We. I. I'll give my opinion, my perspective. I want to.
Colin Cowherd
I want to get your.
T Sizzle
Your thoughts first. Like, why do you.
Riley Herbs
I really. I really don't know why they. They handle him like that. You know, I. I hear his attitude or whatever, but I'm not that tapped in.
Colin Cowherd
Like, from what they said, they was like, he didn't have good interviews at the combine, but I think that's bullshit because anybody who's not doing the draft process, they were like, when they interviewed the kid or talked to the kid, it was like, yo, he was very humble kid, respectful kid. Like. Like, you know, I never met him, but like you just said, we just had discussion about the Internet and how they want even. Like, I think they really did it to kind of, like, punish, like, Dion and him, too. You know what I'm saying?
Riley Herbs
It was basically done in.
Colin Cowherd
I think it was done in spite because, okay, he don't go in the first round. Like, we. All right, that happens. You know what I'm saying? Like, Lamar almost didn't go in the first round. Ozzy News traded back into the first round to go up and get Lamar. Like, Lamar almost fell out of the first round. Like, it happens at the draft. Like, you know, stuff. Crazy stuff happens on draft night. But fifth round, like, all those other quarterbacks taken ahead of them, like, one or two. Okay, like, we can respect it. You weren't the first quarterback taken. But, like, he went in the fifth round. Like, Shador Sanders is way better than Fifth round, right? He didn't deserve to be always back then, like, when he was sliding and we were like, all right, like, how far is this going to go?
Riley Herbs
Who.
Colin Cowherd
Who's gonna. Who's gonna take them? And like, you look at all them teams that had horrible quarterback play last year that needs a quarterback, and why would they go, you know, another way this kid throws. He got a good arm. He got the numbers. He got that, you know, I mean, got the talent, got the athletic ability. Like, you gonna. You're gonna punish the kid for not, like, throwing at the combine. Like, I didn't run at the comb. Like, you know, a lot of people don't do it at the combine, you know what I'm saying? They want you to do it so they don't have to get on a plane and fly to see your personal workout or for whatever reason they want. All right, we got all y' all here, all y', all, and it's like the worst process ever. You know what I'm saying? They wake you up at like 6am they tugging on. You got to take this test. You got to do that test. You gotta go meet with this team. And then they said, all right, go run your fastest 40 and go bench press as many times you can. You know what I'm saying? It's not like. Like you don't want to have everything you've been, you know, working your whole life or throw it into this one, you know, interview, this one audition, you know.
Riley Herbs
Right, right, right.
Colin Cowherd
A lot of guys, like I did, you know, I'm saying you got a controlled environment. It's on my terms, you know what I'm saying? I'm. I'm coming in here. I'm not interviewing with no teams all day. I'm not taking tests all day. I'm coming here to do the bench test, and I'm coming here to run my. Then it was a 40 yard dash and an L drill, like, you know what I'm saying? Line work. Let's see how well you can move. You know, I'm saying your whole workout, like an hour. But if you're doing that with just you, and it could be like 10 of your other teammates that you play with, you know what I'm saying? At the combine, it's like 300 or 300 some athletes there. It's all. It's like herding cattle, you know what I'm saying? You want to stand out. So I don't know if they punished him for not. Not throwing at the combine. I don't know, like his whole pre draft process, he was kind of like on his turn. But all, all quarterbacks do that. Especially like quarterbacks projected to go hot. They all do it at their own school with their own receivers they've been throwing with, you know what I'm saying? And not just thrown out there with other receivers, you know what I'm saying? So like his whole pre draft, like, I just think they was just, they, they wanted to punish him. I don't think all of them thought he was going to go where he went, like fifth. But I think it was kind of like universal. Like once he started to fall, it was just, he just kept falling into somebody like, oh, Shador Stilling, you know what I'm saying? So, like why Cleveland would draft Dylan Gabriel and then come back and draft Shador Sander. Like, like, yeah, like how? Like I'm still trying to.
T Sizzle
It makes sense to me.
Riley Herbs
Well, now he got opportunity to prove all these people did bad.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah, yeah.
T Sizzle
That's about the response for sure. How you respond.
Colin Cowherd
Like Lamar did. Like, like you could tell, like Lamar was real disappointed to go. I think he went 30, I think we, we jumped up and got a 30 second. He went 30 seconds. Like, I think he was disappointed but he, he responded, you know what I'm saying? He responded. And he's two time mvp. Supposed to be three, but we can get into that. But I think like he responded and I hope, like we really do hope Shador, like, I really do hope that level of success not at Cleveland though, because they're in the same situation as Baltimore. I want to light this motherfucker up. I just don't want them to light us up, you know what I'm saying? I'm still emotionally attached to that team, you know what I'm saying? So. But if he lighted up, actually, as long as he don't like light up the Ravens, I'm cool. I'm cool. You know what I'm saying?

T Sizzle
Of, speaking of Lamar, he recently said that the game has gotten easier. It's progressively gotten easier, he says. As I've been getting older in the league, my mindset has been different and the game has gotten a lot easier for me. Do you feel like that's a, a good thing to say? Should, should opposing defenses be afraid Lamar is approaching the game with that mindset?
Colin Cowherd
Nah, you know how we are. Yeah, we are like we're gonna be like, oh yeah. Well, let's see how slow it's gotten for you, you know what I'm saying? Like, like, like y' all definitely from anybody. Nobody on defense is gonna shy away. They definitely gonna see. Well, we're gonna see how, you know, slow the game's gotten, you know what I'm saying? I don't think opposing defenses are gonna. Like, they know, like, I'm facing Lamar Jackson, you know what I'm saying? They know that going in. They know I'm facing Lamar Jackson. Like I said a few minutes ago, ain't nobody worried about Kenny Pickett, you know what I'm saying? Nobody. Like, oh, man, I'm gonna have to hydrate more this week, you know what I'm saying? I'm facing Kenny Pickett, you know? I mean, but like, Lamar. Lamar is like one of them players. You, like, are we gonna contain this dude? Like. Like, you. You and your group text, you know what I'm saying? Hitting your teammates like, all right, look, man, like, we going to send three man rush with a spy or two spies or something at him, you know what I'm saying? Like, the bar is not. I mean, excuse me. Lamar is not no normal, like, talent like that. You know what I'm saying? My son asked me today, like, who was faster between Lamar Jackson and Michael Vick? And I was like, I've never seen nobody. I've never seen a human move that fast as Lamar. Like, Lamar could jog and be faster than the rest of us sprint, you know what I'm saying? I've never seen nobody that fat. Like, I didn't face up again. Fred Taylor, Chris Johnson, Michael Vic. Like I said, everybody know that, like, Michael Vick was the apex. Like, he was the prototype for that mobile quarterback, you know, being ambidextrous, too, you know what I'm saying? But, like, Lamar, I had to tell them. I'm like, look, dude, you gotta slow down. Like, man, we gonna pop hamstrings out here. Like, hey, and we ain't facing no quarterback as fast as you. You know what I'm saying? Like, all right, sizzle, I got you. I got you. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, he was jogging one time. I was chasing him. You know what I mean? Like. Like Lamar Jackson is. You've never seen nothing like that. You never seen nothing like that. And he. He fast insane, too. Like, it's ridiculous.
T Sizzle
Lamar different. I gotta make a correction from earlier in the show. It was Mason Rudolph. That guy whack a mole.
Colin Cowherd
Okay. Okay. Yeah, I'm glad. That'd be an awkward first meeting in the locker room.
T Sizzle
Yeah.
Colin Cowherd
Mason Rudolph, I'm so glad.
T Sizzle
He got whack a mole by miles. Well, so, man, are you pulling any football games this year, man, you know.
Riley Herbs
I go to football games, though.
T Sizzle
You are you.
Riley Herbs
I do.
T Sizzle
What you watching?
Riley Herbs
But I usually go. I usually go around some type of business, though. I got, you know, you know, I, I've, I've been to Giants games. I've been in the field. I've actually performed in the Giants game. This is more or less when Saquon was there, maybe like two years ago, you know, but football was never really my, my, my sport that like, like that, you know.
T Sizzle
Basketball guy.
Riley Herbs
Basketball, More boxing.
T Sizzle
Boxing, okay.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, definitely boxing. All right.
T Sizzle
Hey, you know, I'm all about it, all the sports. What we, what you think about Terence Crawford? Bud Crawford? Hello. What you, what you.
Riley Herbs
I mean, you got. I'm, I'm, I'm very interested in this fight because it's like he really going up, he's going up a lot, right? In his last fight was the Russian dude, right?
Colin Cowherd
I don't know.
Riley Herbs
That fight, he scared me. Yeah, that fight scared me. Because he's moving up, he moving up. And a lot of times when you.
Colin Cowherd
Move up, you get your ass. So, like, but you don't have that.
Riley Herbs
Speed a lot of times that you used to have him. You gotta use that weight, right?
Colin Cowherd
So why do they do that? Like, why not have it at like a catch weight? Like, I'll go up, but you gotta come down, you know what I'm saying? And we meet somewhere in the middle and fight there, you know what I'm saying?
Riley Herbs
I don't think Canelo was gonna come down. He wanted.
Colin Cowherd
He just fought the Charlo twin. He like, makes everybody come up to him, you know what I'm saying? And in boxing, if you're not Floyd Mayweather, you only getting one payday fight, maybe two if you're lucky, you know what I'm saying?
Riley Herbs
I mean, it depends on who you fighting though, right? Right. So, like, the guy, like, so you think about, you think about like Javante Davis, the guy that, the guy that, that fought Javante, the last dude wrote, she probably got more money ever, right? Right. So you talk about, you know, you got in New York, you got the young guy come up out of, out of Brooklyn called Edgar Belonga. You know, he's a young up and coming boxer, but he fought Canelo. He got a, he got more probably than he ever got.
Colin Cowherd
Okay, 160, huh? What does Canelo fight at?
Riley Herbs
Canelo, at what middleweight was that?
Colin Cowherd
160?
Riley Herbs
Yeah, somewhere around there he had around middleweight.
Colin Cowherd
Like.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, Canelo went all the way up to light heavyweight.
Colin Cowherd
Like, he just did that to the Charlotte twin. He like made everybody come up to him. Like, the way people talk about Bud Crawford is like, so who you got.
Riley Herbs
So who you got in the fight?
Colin Cowherd
I'm not. I'm not. I can't bet. Like, I want. I want Bud to win, but like you said, he's going up. So remember, like, if. If Canelo Alvarez fights at 160, 162, he probably walk around at, like, 170, 175. Right?
Riley Herbs
They said Bud walk. Walks around at a. At a higher weight than he usually fights as well. But still, like, I got though that.
Colin Cowherd
That's still a lot of. Of weight he's going up. So I know Bud fight at 154 because they were talking better. Who's the better 154 fire between him and Floyd. So Bud fights at 154. He's got go up to 160, and, you know, like, he's gonna dehydrate himself to make weight for the fight or whatever, whatever they do, and then he's probably gonna lose weight, whereas, like, Canelo's gonna make his weight and go back up, you know? So they both might weigh in at 160, become fight night. Bud might be back down 154, 156, and he go up to 170. You know what I'm saying? Like. Like, in the football world, like, I. Bud, because I think to 230 is nothing.
T Sizzle
I think Bud going in there to box, not to try to knock Canelo out. I think he's going out, going up to outbox him. And like you just said, it's the. It's really like the last real blockbuster.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, this is going to be the biggest fight of the year. Right?
T Sizzle
So in order, it was a draw that he can't get at 154, he. So he had to go up in order to get this. This pay per view, this heavy bag. I think Bud going in there to box, he real surgical. He's a great counter puncher. Canelo, he got power, all that and the weight could play a part. But Bud not going there to have a slug fist and go toe to toe. I think he going there to move around, work his jab, and just win.
Riley Herbs
I said that makes a lot of sense. If he fights that fight, like, if he fights the sticking and moving, beating him to the punch. Canelo is slick, though. Yeah, Canelo slick.
Colin Cowherd
Hell of a counter puncher, too. Like, super. Like, I didn't like for Charlo, I don't like this fight for him.
Riley Herbs
But Charlo didn't even fight, bro. Charlo didn't even really fight, bro.
Colin Cowherd
I feel like it was like all right, I know I'm climbing an uphill battle. Let me get my bag.
Riley Herbs
But no, but, no. This ain't that. Bud going in the fight.
Colin Cowherd
I hope so, man.
Riley Herbs
Like, no, no, no, no. Bud is going in the fight because he's ambitious. He's undisputed in like two weight classes. He wanted this. This is what he wanted. He ain't want nothing else. I think this is for him, his trophy, right? This is what. This is what he want to end on, right? He don't want nothing else. He ain't care. He don't care about whatever Javon say was saying. He didn't care about what nobody else was saying. Welterweight 154 hot. Lower than that. Like, he didn't care about none of that. This is the trophy that he wanted. This is what he want to do. So he coming to fight. He ain't coming. He ain't coming just to get no money.
T Sizzle
You got to add those resume. Especially if you want to be in that goat conversation. You're talking about Floyd Mayweather. You have to have those names on your resume.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, he. Listen, he got a heavy resume. Undisputed. Like, I mean. I mean, unified. Like, he unified the belts. Come on, man. Like, I've been impressed after the Spence fight. Really?
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. That's what I'm gonna say. He beat Earl Spence. He beat.
Riley Herbs
I was a Errol Spence fan still.
Colin Cowherd
Everybody was like, aerospace. He fought like.
Riley Herbs
No, let's be honest. He beat the shit out of Dog. Like, let's. He beat him, but the dog out of him. Like, we got to be honest here.
Colin Cowherd
It was a great fight to watch and I like that. It wasn't none of that, that like pre fight bickering. It was like, no, I respect dude. Like, he's a great fight. I'm going in there to win, you know what I'm saying? I love that aspect of it, but I didn't expect. Oh, boy.
Riley Herbs
That had like, nah, he beat himself. Like, he stole from him.
Colin Cowherd
Like, yeah, so I like, he got the Earl Spence fight. Like, does he have another big fight? Like, I don't know, like I'm drawing. But like, he beats everybody's ass who gets in the ring with him.
Riley Herbs
Didn't he fought. If he fought Golovkin, didn't he?
Colin Cowherd
Oh, no, that's the other. That's enough. Because the left one bigger. You know what I'm saying?
Riley Herbs
Then he fight triple GS.
Colin Cowherd
I'm no triple G. I don't know. I don't think so. I think Triple G is like that much bigger. I think Triple G might be in light heavy.
Riley Herbs
They, they around us. They. They around that same.
Colin Cowherd
Because Triple G fought Canelo. I think they came down and fought at the. The 160, the 162, 163, something like that. But I haven't seen Triple G since then.
Riley Herbs
But bottom line, is this boy coming to fight. This ain't about no paycheck. I don't believe it.
Colin Cowherd
No, I don't think it's about no.
Riley Herbs
Paycheck, but that's a fighting. He coming. Yeah. That's all he know how to do. Like, is fight like he's coming. Yeah, he coming to fight. Like it's gonna be a good fight. It's the biggest fight in. In boxing right now. This is. This is it.
Colin Cowherd
This is.
Riley Herbs
This is it. This is going to be the biggest.
Colin Cowherd
Fight until we get Tank and Shakur Stevenson.
Riley Herbs
I don't know if that's really gonna happen.
Colin Cowherd
I don't think that's gonna happen either.
Riley Herbs
They gotta get back with Roach.
T Sizzle
I see Tanking.
Colin Cowherd
Who is Roach?
Riley Herbs
That's the homie that had that fought him last time. Oh.
Colin Cowherd
Oh, yeah. Tank doing. They doing a rematch.
T Sizzle
I gotta see that. We gotta see that, right?
Riley Herbs
We gotta see.
Colin Cowherd
Because he.
Riley Herbs
I felt like he kind of had Tank number.
Colin Cowherd
It surprised me. But, you know, Tank starts slow, right?
Riley Herbs
And he take a lot of punches.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah, Tank starts slow, and then once he. He got your timing, once he know what you're doing, then. Right, knockout's coming, right?
Riley Herbs
But the thing is this, right? What happens when he can't knock you out and you winning on points?
Colin Cowherd
That's the thing.
Riley Herbs
You see what I'm saying? It's a point game. It's not always about the knockout. It's about.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah, that's how Floyd got all points. He got under your skin so much that you wanted to knock him out, and then you was too busy focused. Like, I'm be the first person to knock Floyd out and be the first person not Floyd out, and then Floyd in there putting them pause on you. Like, Floyd, the best defensive fighter, like, in boxing history. He's probably the best fighter of history, you know? I mean, in history. Like, his resume's crazy, you know what I'm saying? Like, Floyd didn't make no mistakes, you know what I'm saying? Like, the closest he got to get knocked out, like, Shane Mosley caught him one time.
Riley Herbs
Zab caught him, too. They ruled it.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah, that's right.
Riley Herbs
Caught him, too.
Colin Cowherd
I forgot about that.
Riley Herbs
Floyd been hit with some shots, some solid maidana where they said his tooth got knocked out. Like, you know. Yeah, he said.
Colin Cowherd
Because remember, like, during that time, like, Berto and Pacquiao, all them said, like, oh, Floyd was running, so he said, you know, Madonna, like, he wanted to give the crowd, like, a show. He wanted to stand in there and kind of, like, take punch.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, we seen him slug it out with a few guys, like, you know, but his fight, more or less, was a defensive fight. He always played the points, and sometimes that ain't always go well with the audience because they like to see blood. Like, they want to see sluggy. They want to see knocking. They want to. They want to see that. And when you do it, when you. When you moving around, around, like. Like, I personally don't like Shakur Stevens fights because it's too much of that.
Colin Cowherd
It's too much. Oh, okay.
Riley Herbs
Too much of that.
Colin Cowherd
Personally, we've seen the kid once, and I know, like, Tank. We expect the knockouts from Tank. Like, from what I hear from their division, that's like, the fight they both need to take.
Riley Herbs
So. So in.
Colin Cowherd
In.
Riley Herbs
In your mind. Yo, you want to see Tank and Shakur. What about Haney? Is Haney in that conversation anymore?
Colin Cowherd
Devin Haney? I think so. Like, one loss shouldn't take you out of a big fight. But that.
Riley Herbs
That was a. That was a. That was a.
Colin Cowherd
That was an ass whooping. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was pretty bad. But I don't know. I don't know who Devin Haney's gonna fight. Like, what he gonna fight, right? He just fought.
Riley Herbs
So he just fought who he just fought. He said it wasn't an impressive fight, though. Who did he just fight? He just. He just fought recently, and they said it wasn't really an impressive fight. He fought here in New York?
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. Like, I don't know where Devin Haney, like, goes from here. Like, does he try to fight the winner? Like, these two, bud. And you know what I'm saying? I don't know what Devin.
Riley Herbs
No, he's not in the area of reborn. No, that ain't gonna happen, no. Yeah, that's. Well too big. No, that ain't gonna happen.
Colin Cowherd
Like, like, what is. Is. Is Devin Haney, is he 154, 149?
Riley Herbs
No. Hell, no. He. He lower than that.
Colin Cowherd
He's small.
Riley Herbs
Yeah. Yeah. Smaller than that.
Colin Cowherd
I don't know who he fights then, so I don't know where he goes. So that fight happened when he lost? That happened in New York, didn't it?
Riley Herbs
No, he didn't lose in New York. He lost to Ryan Garcia. I for. I don't remember where they put it. Huh.
Colin Cowherd
Was that in Vegas?
Riley Herbs
It might have been in Vegas, yeah.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. I don't know where.
Riley Herbs
He just. He had another fight after that in. Out here in New York. I wasn't here, but if they fought in Times Square. Yeah. Who. I don't remember who it was. They said it wasn't. It wasn't an exciting fight.
Colin Cowherd
So what, do we go back and fight Ryan Garcia again?
Riley Herbs
Oh, no, I wouldn't. Yeah, I don't know if he want to do that. I think Ryan kind of had his number. Ryan was beating him to the punch. And I know they said that Ryan had enhancements and all that. I don't know. But Ryan kept beating him to the punch with that. With that one punch.
Colin Cowherd
I knew. We all know it. Like, he just kept over.
Riley Herbs
To what's his name, little Spanish dude that fought Tank before. Damn.
Colin Cowherd
Oh, I know what you're talking about.
Riley Herbs
Ryan just lost.
Colin Cowherd
He lost to him.
Riley Herbs
Yeah. Yeah. N. He beat, shot Ryan.
T Sizzle
Keep it with the ufc.
Riley Herbs
Yeah.
T Sizzle
Not lying out, but with the ufc too. May know.
Riley Herbs
No, not really. Not really.
T Sizzle
I do. I do. I've been to a couple in Vegas.
Riley Herbs
Who's the guy right now?
T Sizzle
Well, Bones Jones is the goat.
Riley Herbs
He's the goat.
Colin Cowherd
He's the greatest. Stones.
Riley Herbs
I ain't really been tapped in since McGregor.
Colin Cowherd
He was.
Riley Herbs
He was exciting.
Colin Cowherd
Have you ever seen no UFC fight?
Riley Herbs
Nah.
Colin Cowherd
You gotta go. Everybody goes to bed. Like, you know how it works.
Riley Herbs
I watched them, though.
Colin Cowherd
You know how every. In boxing, we. We waiting on the knockout and UFC is. Almost everybody is knocked out.
Riley Herbs
It's guaranteed somebody going to sleep.
Colin Cowherd
Guaranteed. Like, the atmosphere is crazy. Like, it is. Like, I ended up at the McGregor fight, the one he lost to to Obi from LA. Not Khabib. You know, they brothers and they. They fight. You know, he told them, no, Khabib beat his ass. It's somebody else. It's somebody else he lost to and he came back.
Riley Herbs
We had a couple back to back losses though.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. So I can't think of that. That guy's name, but I went to that fight and like, he ended up choking McGregor out and like, like that upset loss. Like it is. Is this, like the atmosphere is like straight up dope. It's like, like, you know, you've been in the hood and you hear about, you know, you know, two people got hands and like the hoods show up to see it.
Riley Herbs
What was the. What was the. What was the female UFC fighter that they all was behind. And then she got lost.
Colin Cowherd
Ronda Rousey.
Riley Herbs
Ronda Rousey, yeah.
Colin Cowherd
Ronda Rousey, yeah. She got beat by Holly Holm, and then she ran up against that Brazilian, that Amanda Nunez. Amanda. New Year's, I would probably think twice, like, if some jumped off.
Riley Herbs
She had beat Amanda before, back in the days, right?
Colin Cowherd
I don't know. I don't think so. I think Amanda Nunes had one loss.
Riley Herbs
I gotta go back to that. And yeah, Ronda Rousey was exciting. So everybody.
Colin Cowherd
Ronda Rousey was exciting, but then Holly Holmes her ass.
T Sizzle
One kick from Holly Holm changed his life.
Riley Herbs
Never the same ever since that.
T Sizzle
Now she. Now she's in the wwe, I believe.
Riley Herbs
Yeah, right. All right, so. All right. Somebody else said that that was exciting that I used to watch. He had a crazy accident, though. His shin popped out. What was his name? Silver.
Colin Cowherd
Oh, Anderson Silva. Yeah, he like one of them. He like one of them hall of.
Riley Herbs
Fame OG of the situation now, right? Yeah, his whole shin bone came out.
Colin Cowherd
He was like, yeah, that's how that was. Like, his loss. He had, like, set the record for consecutive, like, title defenses. You know what I'm saying? Like, Anderson Silver, like, was. He was like. He was the guy, the first Bones, right?
Riley Herbs
Yeah, right, right, right, right.
Colin Cowherd
Like, remember, like, when Bones came out, it is a 6 5, dude. Like, he was a physical mismatch to everybody. He fought, you know, and he beat everybody every type of way. He knocked people out, he kicked people, he choked people out. He submission. Like, like, Bones have to go joke.
Riley Herbs
Like, yeah, I gotta tap in with him.
Colin Cowherd
Like, Bones is no joke. Like, you could probably, like, YouTube some of Bones's fights. Like, Bones is. Because, you know, I played with his brother. I played with both brothers, actually. I played with Chandler and Art. I played with Art on the Ravens. We won super bowl together. And I played with Chandler here and at the Cardinals. And like, they. They. They real, like, fun as a family, you know what I'm saying? Like, they just like your brothers. You know what I'm saying? And, like, you know, I would ask Art, like, so who used to win y' all fights? And my, you know, hard, like, you know, I used to beat the out of this brother. I'm like, duh, that's far fetched, bro. Like, I just don't see you beating that six four dude. And he know every trick in the book. Choke you out. Like, you imagine your little brother choking you out like that. But like I said, he do. McGregor was that dude, like, they was very exciting draws. I think now it's like Israel Adesanya. Like I haven't, I haven't. Like I don't know who the new star is in ufc, so I don't know.
T Sizzle
I haven't been. I gotta tap back in.

Hey, so we all make mistakes, but owning up is the right thing to do. You know Degree Cool Rush deodorant. Well last year they changed the formula and it did not go well with their fans.
Degree
Degree's whole thing is it turns up the sweat and odor protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the original formula. One guy even started an online petition.
Meta AI
And Degree listen they admitted they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp, and fresh. It's back in Walmart, Target, and other stores now for under $4.
Degree
There's a reason why it's been the number one men's antiperspirant for the last decade. It's the same reason why people were not happy when it changed. So if you never tried it, it might be a good time to see what the fuss is about.

Colin Cowherd
Go ahead.
T Sizzle
Challenge. Jones was different, man. Monster.
Colin Cowherd
Yeah. He was pass rush technician.
T Sizzle
Longest arms in the world, man.
Colin Cowherd
Like, like, like, like. He don't like doing anything else. He don't like dropping in past coverage. He only want to do one thing. He. He was surgical at it that long army. Like, he was like one of those, those baseball players that called a shot like, yo, I'm gonna hit it right there. Like, he used to say it all during the week, like, yo, I'm gonna use this move and he'll get in the game and do it. I'm like, I can never do that. Like, half of the. I did, like, it was like, reactive, you know what I'm saying? Like, I didn't plan on doing it. I just ended up doing it, you know what I'm saying? But like, Champ, like, he was as Rush Technician, man. Like, like, dude was. Dude was real good. Like, dude still is good.
T Sizzle
Yeah, your playstyle is different. T sizzle. Yeah, I remember in Baltimore and you, like, not even. You don't even have a stance. For real. As I'm studying players, I'm looking at. All right, Inside foot back, four point, two point, bro.
Riley Herbs
You was.
T Sizzle
You would literally be standing straight up, talking, telling the defense, hey, watch civil ball snapper. You just like a. I gotta be.
Colin Cowherd
Able to see everything.
Riley Herbs
Oh, what?
Colin Cowherd
Like, I want to say what happened while I started standing. I was like, in a three point stance and J. Michael Finley motioned in and cracked me. I mean, like, cracked me. Like the cracker ball cracked. I was like, I ain't getting no stands no more. I need to be able to see everything. Like, nope.
T Sizzle
That one crack block made you stand up.
Colin Cowherd
I was like, all right, I gotta start saying, I gotta be able to see. I gotta be able to see. He, like, crack the out of me. And like, I used to have to threaten Heinz War. I'm like, heinz, I swear, you come down here with that. I'm. I'm you up like, we ain't playing football no more. I used that to threaten Heinz War like pre snap and he was still trying, you know what I'm saying? Like them Baltimore, the Raven Steelers games used to like, I don't know, like all of us would be suspended now for them games. Like how we play, like the, that, that they don't allow now that they allowed back then. Like right now, like all of us would be praying, playing for free. They'd be finding us like, no, we got suspended a couple games because it used to be real in them Raven Steelers games, but now like, it's just, it's still a rivalry, it's just not as, as physical, you know what I'm saying?
T Sizzle
But during that time, that window with, with y', all, it was a heavyweight fight every time.
Colin Cowherd
Like it was a fight, man, we was in there, it was like you, you playing against a team like that, y', all, y' all identities match, you know what I'm saying? Like you got the legendary Baltimore defense, you got the legendary Steel Curtain defense, you know what I'm saying? You know, I mean, you got like, like, come on, man. Like if you look at the rosters of all time players from Ravens and Ross of the all time Steelers is like, it's like identical, you know. And like, you know, even Rob Woodson, he wasn't raising for a short time, but people know him as a Steeler, you know, we got Ed Reed, they got, you know what I'm saying? Like they had Ike Taylor, we had Chris McAllister. Like the, the, the teams, man, like, it's crazy. It's crazy. But you know, you don't really get that no more. You don't really get that no more.
T Sizzle
Do you think it's because it's so much. Is it, is it more movement now from season to season, players going from no different.
Colin Cowherd
I think it's more business structured. Like, I think they want the game to grow kind of like the NBA. Like they want it to be in all the homes in all the countries, you know what I'm saying? Like NBA is like one of the fastest growing sports, like worldwide, you know, besides soccer and baseball, of course, you know what I'm saying? So I think they want the NFL going, so they want touchdowns. So it's kind of the defense is playing with one hand behind their back. So to say, you know, you can't touch, you can't do that. Like it's a lot of rules, you know what I'm saying? Like, and then really they benefit the officer, because they want to see touchdowns. So I think that's why the game, that's one of the reason why the game is like high flying now. You know, the past happy offense, you know what I'm saying? Other reason is NFL is cheap and they don't want to pay for none of us because after we get done playing, we're all up bodies and limbs and so they like, oh, we're gonna try to make the game less, you know, dangerous, less hazardous to the body. But it like you running into another person, another man. You know, I'm saying 100 miles an hour every play. Like you can't prevent that. The injury rate in the NFL every year is 100, you know what I'm saying? Somebody's gonna get hurt. So like, I don't know why, like they, they just, they just try and be cheap about it. But I don't know. That's just my take. What do I know.
T Sizzle
Before we, before we wrap up T sizzle and get up out of here? ESPN lists the best NFL draft pick ever at every slot from 1 to 262. You was the 10th overall pick in 2003, 75th overall pick in 2013. From there, we, we both can't come in second place on this list. Okay, so one of you is Patrick Mahomes.
Colin Cowherd
He was a 10.
T Sizzle
Yeah. So they got him as the, the number one 10th overall pick.
Colin Cowherd
Okay.
T Sizzle
And is Russell Wilson got him as the best 75th pick over you. So yeah, we both finished runner up, which how you feel about that? You think they got it right, got it wrong?
Colin Cowherd
I think they got mine's right. The only case they have against Russell Wilson is that he got super boring. Like, like it was part of the argument.
T Sizzle
He don't have any all pros. I have one. I'm not sure he got, I got five.
Colin Cowherd
He does.
T Sizzle
I don't have a ring.
Colin Cowherd
I think that's probably like, like I said, I think, remember like offensive linemen are the secret service. Y' all got the toughest job in the world and don't get any credit for it. You know what I'm saying? Like, y' all can play 200 snaps, give a sack and then they like, oh, he's a liability, you know what I'm saying? But like quarterbacks, remember Scott, they, they kiss babies, you know what I'm saying? They're always on tv. You know, the game is. I like it by the quarterback, you know what I'm saying? So you know, it's a quarterback driven league. So that's why I think they would put that over you. But you.
Riley Herbs
Sorry about that, fellas.
Colin Cowherd
We understand numbers don't lie, huh? No, he was talking about the draft pick. But I. I got a question for Mayno, though. You know what I'm saying? Ta. Can I ask him, or do we got time? So come on. So, you know, New York is. They call it the Mecca basketball. New York City point guards. Give me your top five. All time New York City point guys.
Riley Herbs
Bernard King, he from New York City. Yeah, he played on the Knicks.
Colin Cowherd
I know he played on the Knicks. Is he from New York?
Riley Herbs
He's from New York.
Colin Cowherd
Okay.
Riley Herbs
Stephon.
Colin Cowherd
I knew you were gonna say that. Brooklyn. Lincoln.
Riley Herbs
Lincoln, definitely.
Colin Cowherd
Let me help you out.
Riley Herbs
Oh, you got.
Colin Cowherd
So I heard Rod Strickland.
Riley Herbs
Rod Strickland.
Colin Cowherd
I heard Rod Strickland was off the chain. But the. The names. The two names I hear most is Guy. Sham Guy.
Riley Herbs
That's my guy.
Colin Cowherd
And Kenny Anderson.
Riley Herbs
I mean, I heard Kenny Anderson was like, my guy, definitely. But it's so much more. I mean, we got. We got. This is New York City. It's the biggest, baby. We got playground legends, man. You know? Man.
Colin Cowherd
But, like, I've never seen, like, you know, high school footage of Rod Strickland. Everybody's seen Stefan because he had the. Iverson. They had that. That kind of rivalry in high school, you know, was the number one point guard that time. So, you know, everybody know about Stefan Mulberry, and it. It's like a rumor that the movie He Got Game was, like, actually about him. You know what I'm saying?
Riley Herbs
Loosely based, right? Yeah, it was. I think it was loosely based on him.
Colin Cowherd
I think it was loosely based on.
Riley Herbs
I think it was. I think.
Colin Cowherd
All right, Rod Strickland was. Was just phenomenal. But I keep hearing, like, Kenny Anderson was like Kyrie Irvin before that kind of ball was like.
Riley Herbs
But Bernard King, though, that's a little.
Colin Cowherd
Bit older than me.
Riley Herbs
That's a long time ago. But what I'm saying, you talking about New York. You got to go all the way.
Colin Cowherd
All the way. I mean, as far as the point guard, I know Kareem from New York. You know what I'm saying? Kareem. Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Ain't he from New York?
Riley Herbs
He wasn't no point guard.
Colin Cowherd
No, he wasn't no point guard. But I'm just saying, like, yeah, y' all got. I mean, of course y' all got players, you know what I'm saying? But they like the point guard. Like, this is the way the position was invented, was in New York City.
Riley Herbs
I mean, come on. It's New York, baby.
Colin Cowherd
Come on.
Riley Herbs
We play black on a black top. You understand? I just want like the whole rock a pop.
Colin Cowherd
