Joe Johnson
Aaron Rodgers has been in Pittsburgh for a couple of days, but he hasn't met with the Steelers. Aaron Rodgers returned to Pittsburgh, but has not returned to the Steelers. Instead, they're talking with his agent. He has a base salary of a little less than $14 million last year, a very low rate fairly relative to the market at the position. The ultimate question, and you know this Ocho, when they say it ain't about the money, it's about the money. How much are the Steelers, how much are the stealing Steelers willing to offer? And how much does Aaron Rodgers actually want? Yeah, that's tough.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That's tough. I. I would hope they get the resolve rather faster than later. Aaron Rodgers needs to be with that team right now. He needs to be with that team right now. Building chemistry with some of the new players in the locker room. I think just having his presence in there would be very important right now. Be very, very important. I'm not sure if they, I'm sure they have an off season program going on right now. I know Aaron Rodgers probably don't want to be a part of that. He probably want to be there, but he needs to be there. His presence is important. If he's serious about changing the way they look last year, if he's serious about business, you know, the money part gonna take care of itself. The market is what the market is. You're Aaron Rodgers. Your resume, your accolades speak for itself. So you're gonna be able to command and get what you want to because they ain't got no other goddamn options anyway. You ain't got no options. You don't get what you want. Just Just if you're in Pittsburgh right now, just stay there. Just stay there. Go. I go. Go out there, work with the boys, man. Kid, them kids love that. Hey, Unc. Strickland one tonight, huh?
Joe Johnson
Yeah. He beat Shamaya. I'm surprised. He was undefeated, if I'm not mistaken. I think he was undefeated.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, he's nice. Hey, is it me? Hey. Hey, Joe. You watch ufc?
ISO (Co-host)
Not really.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, not really. Hey, Joe, I don't know what it is about watching ufc. I was watching the prelims earlier today, right?
Joe Johnson
Huh?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I don't know why. When I watch ufc. Hey, Chat, y' all stay with me real quick. When I watch ufc, like, it's one thing to watch it, but, like, I want to see what that experience is like. I want to know what it's like to go to a camp. I want to know what it's like to. To go through the things that fighters go through. I want to know what it's like to. To. To do away in. I want to know what it's like to. To. To have that. That. That ring walk, you know, to get inside that octagon, you know, right before that bell sound, and just had a ref say, you ready? You ready?
Joe Johnson
Let's fight.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Like, I want to experience that.
ISO (Co-host)
You want to fight somebody. I'm with no gloves, none of that. You just want.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Not me. Just the same structure that they have, like that, you know, the same structure. I just want to know what it feel like just to be able to. Like, I have a deal right now where I'm working with ufc, right? And I have, like a four fight deal where I go to the. Four. Four fights, the lower division, right, Joe. And highlight some of the young fighters trying to make it to the big, you know, to the higher level. But I'm like, I talked today, and then I talked to some of the people, Doug and Ryan, who got me this deal, right? It's like, I don't really like the fact that I'm working with the ufc, right? And I'm highlighting some of the young fighters up and coming, trying to make it to the big stage. But you had me doing this, and I don't have the accolades of the resume to be able to do it. So how about you guys give me the opportunity to see what it's like to get in there with somebody, to have a camp, whether it's a month, maybe two months. So I feel better about myself being connected to the ufc, because I've actually done it. You give it a say.
ISO (Co-host)
You feel like that,
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Joe, I'm crazy, Joe. I'm willing to do anything, Joe, you
ISO (Co-host)
can take a punch with bare knuckles.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I mean, I ain't got no choice. We gonna find out. Hey, Joe. I got a nice little foundation. I gotta. I got a nice little foundation. I ain't saying I'm.
Joe Johnson
Goddamn the boxes. That Ray Merson, all the boxes, James, Tony, all the guys that were world champion, they got their ass in the ufc. They got this.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I know. I ain't worried about that, Paul. I ain't worried about it. I just want the experience. I ain't worried about the wins and the losses. When you think about life, Joe, think about this. In life, right? When you go through life, everything you do, it ain't gonna be a win.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, bro.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That's a part of life. You got wins, you got losses. And I'm one of the few people I don't walk around with my head high like everything I've done in life is a win. And I have no problem taking my Ls publicly. I have no problem. I'm not ashamed of that. I just want to do it, Joe.
Joe Johnson
I just want to exclude you. Ain't nothing stopping you.
ISO (Co-host)
Oh, Joe.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, hold on, hold on, hold on, Joe. Hold up. Ain't nothing stopping you.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I know.
Joe Johnson
You can go to the camp, just like you go to those training camps and boxes. Yeah, you can go to those training camps.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I'm doing it. I'm gonna represent us with you. I'm gonna make y' all proud.
ISO (Co-host)
I'm gonna make y' all brother Ocho. But I don't want to see you get choked out and go limp. I don't want to see that. I don't.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, I. Hey, hey, Joe. I ain't gonna go limp. I got roast bars. Oh,
Joe Johnson
He would need more than roast Bart.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, hey, Joe.
Joe Johnson
Just this one time, Ocho. Is that defeat?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You.
Joe Johnson
You're not a wrestler, huh? You can't. You can't snuff a takedown.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, I'm gonna try to stay on. I'm gonna try to stay on my feet the best way I can.
Joe Johnson
Huh? You remember the fight that we went to?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Which one?
Joe Johnson
Did that guy stay on his feet?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah. Nah.
Joe Johnson
What'd he do, take it back?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, yeah. Holloway made the fight boring, man. Oh, what's his name, the Brazilian?
Joe Johnson
Oliveira?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, man, he made the fight boring, man, but he knew it was the only way. He couldn't stand there. He could stand there and go toe to toe with Max.
Joe Johnson
No. So that's the thing. You got to be able to wrestle, you gotta have. You gotta have. You gotta have some. The wrestlers do the best because you got to be able to stop. You got to be able at some point in time take a guy down or you got to be able to snuff it.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Well, hey, well, listen, I. Well, we, we had to get down to dirty, you know. You know, I was a state championship wrestler in 84. Huh.
Joe Johnson
Well, you have to freshen up on those skills.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, you know, I got a nice little ground game. Nice little guillotine too.
Joe Johnson
Okay. I think the thing back to Aaron Rodgers, the problem that the Steelers have is that he know they don't have anybody. And they. And got them by the ball. They. They stuck. Yeah. And that's what happens. That's what happens. Green Bay let it happen for the longest time until they say, you know what? Let's go get a quarterback. Yeah. And they got it and they drafted a quarterback. I don't know what ride. I think. I don't know what that round they drafted Drew Aller in, but they didn't draft him high enough to put fear in him. And so he's like, nah, he seemed to go and rate. I see Miami just paid the guy 20 plus million dollars a year and y' all want to give me less than 14.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That ain't happening. Listen, whatever they pay him is going to be respectable. Whatever they pay him is going to be respectable. But I want to make sure you're all in.
ISO (Co-host)
Hold on. He is a free agent though, right?
Joe Johnson
Yes. No, I think. Well, he said he had a base seller. No, I think he a free agent. Yeah, but they put a. No, they put a tag. They tagged him. That means they can match any offer, right?
ISO (Co-host)
He going back, man.
Joe Johnson
Boy, the thing is, is that as long as they know, as long as he knows they don't have any options. Then what?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
He gonna play games like he playing now?
Joe Johnson
You could play hard again if you know the chick that you trying to see, you know she don't got no options. You give her your butt to kiss, she. If she. If she got options, she give you her butt to kiss. But when ain't nobody got no option to. Look here, you ugly, I'm ugly. We might as well get our ugly asses together. What we doing here? Oh, I bet I had homeboy tell a chick that one time. Look here, I'm ugly, you ugly. Go. Let's go make ugly sex. Yeah, I ain't ugly. You a lot you're ugly. But that's okay. I'm ugly too. Ugly people should be together.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, you're right about that. You're right about that one.
Joe Johnson
So when you got, would you. When you got is when you have options in the job market, you increase your value. If this place like. Well, he ain't got no other options. We can give him this. But the moment they know five or six companies bidding for you, you raise the price.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Football, basketball. If you ain't got no options, Joe, you gotta take what they gave you.
ISO (Co-host)
You're absolutely right.
Joe Johnson
Once I got three, four, five teams interested.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Highest biddle.
Joe Johnson
I'm so. I don't know what he want. He's gonna get more than his little 14 million that he made last year.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Absolutely.
Joe Johnson
But Steeler, you ain't got nobody to blame but yourself.

all right, it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. Before we get to our super chats, we got three video voicemails from our discord. Let's take a listen.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
What's up, Ocho?
ISO (Co-host)
Nightcap family.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, I got a story for Ocho. I remember when I was a J. I used to play basketball for this park.
ISO (Co-host)
And once in a while, Ocho and
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
his brother Chauncey would be out there.
ISO (Co-host)
I remember Ocho being the defendant, his brother Chauncey being a bucket get.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
But one day, I caught O2 in
ISO (Co-host)
the parking lot, and I asked him how they feel to get hit by Ray Lewis.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
He said, little man, you need to ask Ray Lewis how I feel to hit me. I thought to myself, dang, that's how it is, huh? Ray hit this man so hard, he think he hit Ray. Hey, hey, hey, wait. There's some good days, boy. It was a good day, but I got. Damn. Ray boy. Hey, boy. Joe, we played the ra. You gotta think. I played against the Ravens twice a year for a decade straight. Every time I had a chance to hit Ray, I tried to hit him. Joe. I lost every last one, and I didn't care. I didn't care. Joe, you. You see, like how I say I want to do the octagon stuff. Joe, I didn't care. I was reckless. I was fearless. I talked trash. And you. You hit me, knock me down. I'm getting up, talking trash. Like, I. I just.
ISO (Co-host)
Hey, the bad. The baddest dude in the room. You going at his neck. You going to him first.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, Joe, every time, as a matter of fact, before. Before I got your neck. I'm gonna talk. I'm gonna talk about it first, and I'm gonna still do it.
Joe Johnson
Joe, you ready to do. Join Nightcap full time? Because I'm gonna need a partner.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Why?
Joe Johnson
Because when you go do this MMA training.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, let me. Hey, let me tell you something. One thing about it is, for one, I ain't gonna embarrass you, too. I'm not embarrassing my last name. So if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right. And if I lose, I'm gonna look good losing. Hey, Joe, I ain't say I' ma win, but when I lose, I'm gonna look goddamn good to be like, hey, what? I ain't know you could throw like that. I said, you know, I got a little foundation now. You know, hey, I ain't grow up Doing this, but, you know, I. I got squad.
ISO (Co-host)
Hey, I talked uncle to come and show you some love and support, man. We'll come.
Joe Johnson
I'll be there.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Y' all better be. Y' all better be ringside, Joe, you could be my cut man.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah, hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully you can handle your own, you know what I mean?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I can handle my own, Joe. I got hands now. Yeah. Because, you know, Joe, when I was in la, you know, I. I used. I used to. They used to call me Baby Squabbles.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Hear me?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah. On day homies, Huh?
Joe Johnson
You got to keep them up off you.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, I'm gonna keep them up off of me.
Joe Johnson
Okay.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, they used to call me. Yeah, hey, Joe. You know, I used to get out, Joe. When I was in la, Joe, you know, I stayed in the jungles. You know, they. When they. When they put me on, I had to take on, like, eight dudes. I had eight of them. They. They were coming.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey, hey, Joe, I don't know if you noticed, but that voice been the same for about two weeks, ain't it? You noticed that, Joe?
Jacob Goldstein
Huh?
Joe Johnson
Okay.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, you know, I've been. Hey, I've been smoking heavy. I'm good, though. I'm good, though.
Joe Johnson
That old hunter, they say that they got the old new virus, the hunter virus.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That who.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I know what he talking about. That what the people got on their ship at in, man.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, yeah, yeah, I heard about that, boy. Hey, we. We ain't got that down in Miami, boy.
Joe Johnson
Hey, where you think that from?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Not Miami. Hey, hey, hey. Why I stay 44, 40, 45 minutes from the city? Why?
Joe Johnson
Hey, the ships ain't leaving from the city.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Where they leave from? Not the. The port is. Port of Miami is in the city. Huh? That's right there by the beach. I'm out here. I'm out here with the horses and. The horses and cows.
Joe Johnson
Hold on. Mice love horses and cows. Let's take a listen to our second video.
ISO (Co-host)
Oo allo.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
What's happening?
ISO (Co-host)
It's your boy, Raj. My question is, so Unk, when you choosing a guest for Club Shaysay, how
Joe Johnson
do you know that they're going to be the perfect fit?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Like, what's that process?
Joe Johnson
And how do you mentally and emotionally
ISO (Co-host)
prepare yourself to have such deep conversations? And my last question is, what advice would you give someone that wants to
Joe Johnson
get into the interview space and become
ISO (Co-host)
such a great interviewer like yourself to make guests open up to you and feel more comfortable with you? Love the show. Peace out.
Joe Johnson
Appreciate that. Some very Good questions. I think the biggest thing for me is that I go in there. I don't go in there with a, a preconceived idea. I have an idea of who the individual are. Obviously, you know, some, you know more about than others. But I go in there, I'm not going to be judgmental. I'm gonna listen, I'm gonna let them tell their. Nobody wants to hear my voice. They want to hear them. So I'm not going to over talk them. Now, if there's something I don't quite understand, I might ask and try to rephrase it away because maybe he or she didn't understand the question I was asking. Because I want, you know, I'm never gonna put, you know, there are people calling, says, look, there's something I said, I want to take that out, I remove it. Because I ain't trying to make nobody look bad. We ain't trying to get no clip moments right. We won't feel comfortable, whatever. That's their story to tell. Joe and Ocho, that's their story. I don't want to add anything. I don't want to take anything out. We talked before. Is there anything that you don't want to discuss? No, I'm an open book. Okay, fine. For me, you do as deep a dive as you possibly can. I would recommend that you don't do a whole lot of interview. You don't watch a whole lot of other interviews, because if you do that, it's going to probably lead you to ask some similar questions because maybe they said something that got clipped and it got a lot of views and you're going to try to do that. And so I don't. We don't do that. I'm going in there. We've done as deep a dive as we possibly can. We going back five years, 10 years, 15 years. We're trying to, As he said, we want the guests to open up, but we want them to open up in a way that we're not judging them. And some people, like, man, the thing is that, like, people think like everybody's supposed to do 15, 20 million. I'm like, look, if you go back and look at Oprah or Phil Donahue or anybody that had that was in this space, you thought every guess was great. No, but you learned a lot about a lot of different people. And that's what I try to do. I try to give a lot of different people, you know, people that I like, man, I would really like to hear their story. I think they got a Very interesting story to tell. Yep. Hey, man. Oh, I had Suki on, on the thing. Lord have mercy.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey.
Joe Johnson
Hey.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
She funny. She got a good personality, huh?
Joe Johnson
What?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, she funny.
Joe Johnson
Oh, my goodness. And the stunning people like, well, you ain't. Bro, you gotta realize if me and Ocho like what we talk about off offset, off camera is one thing. They putting this on camera. She told me, oh, you suck it in front of the bag. So I'm as surprised when some, when they start talking about some things. I'm as surprised as anybody. Yeah, I. Look, I'm hell damn near 60. But it's the fact that they're saying it because you have a, you have a perception that. Do people really talk like that? What? Do they really talk like that when the cameras aren't rolling? Okay. They know the cameras are rolling and they still talk the same way. I'm like, what day?
ISO (Co-host)
Oh, yeah, she was.
Joe Johnson
But if you want to get in the space, do you do your research, do your homework, understand, this is a full time job. You got to invest a lot of time in it. I don't know if you're going to have producers, I don't know how you're going to go about doing it. I don't know. You're gonna have one camera. We shoot with three cameras. We shoot with. I have a camera, the guests have a camera, we have a slide. You know, we got producers, we got editors, we got graphics, we got social media team. It's a big undertaking and it all depends on how serious you want to take it. There are a lot of people getting into the space. But it can be done. It absolutely can be done. But bro, you got to, you got to roll your sleeves up and you got to go all in. And people go like, well, why you interviewing this person? Or why you interviewing that person? Or get this people, bro, we try to reach out to people sometimes, you know, they say yes, and they get back to us and say, we can shoot this, this, and this time. Sometimes they get back to us and we don't hear from them again. And sometimes they never get back to us. That's the way it worked. Works. So we try to get as many interesting people. They bring me a list. They like, I send them a list and we go down the list and like, okay, who do we think we can get? And that's kind of how it works. But you know, some people that, you know, they, they want to be, they want to sit down. And then some people, they don't. That's, that's how Interview goes. You know, we try to go as thorough as we possibly can. And if you notice, I interviews all of my hours, at least two hours, or 145 to two and a half to sometimes three, because I'm not interrupting him. I want them to get their full train of thought out, and I don't want it to be, well, you led this. I. I didn't. All I do is ask a question. I asked the question, and then I sit back. I let them talk. I let them answer it. How they. How they. Because it's their life. I don't know. I wasn't there.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
So you let them explain. Ocho can tell. Guess what? Ocho can tell Ocho's story better than anybody else. Joe can tell Joe story better than anybody else. You know that ain't how it happened. How do I know? I wasn't there neither. Would you let them tell it and then. I don't form no opinion. I ain't got no opinion one way or another. I think everybody, like I said, I think we're pretty close to 200 guests in almost six years. And everybody's had a great time for the most part, so. But good luck, bro. We got one more. This the last one? I think this is the last one.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, Shannon.
ISO (Co-host)
Hey, Ocho. What up, Joe?
Joe Johnson
In a few hours, on this day, at about 1 o', clock, I'll be
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
graduating from the Savannah State University, where you can really get anywhere from here.
ISO (Co-host)
Don't believe me?
Joe Johnson
Look at Shannon. Shout out to y'.
ISO (Co-host)
All.
Joe Johnson
Peace and love.
ISO (Co-host)
Congrats.
Joe Johnson
Appreciate that.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Congratulations.
Joe Johnson
That's right. Anywhere. College by the sea.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Congrats. Congrats. Congrats.
Joe Johnson
Hey. Yes. Yes. Savannah State, baby. The blue and orange Tigers. The only Tigers that matter. If you another Tiger, sir. Bama State College by the sea. And as he said, our alma mater anywhere from here. I'm living proof, fam. You thunder up, baby. Let's close it out on Monday. It damn sure look like it, too. Damn.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah. I'll give you they might get one.
Joe Johnson
Lee Rolls has said spurs got something for okc. OKC got something for a lot of people, too. OKC ain't nothing to play with, man. Hey, I ain't gonna hold y'.
ISO (Co-host)
All.
Joe Johnson
They not. They're not anything to play with.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, they number, though.
Joe Johnson
If you're still going to the game on Monday, I hope you bring a broom, because it's over. Kfc, ufc, we can all see okc and folks, Ocho pay. Ocho. Joe already made it clear he ain't over with. He ain't paying.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Don't worry about it. I'm gonna get it up out of you in it some a different kind of way.
Joe Johnson
Lakers don't deserve no Cancun. They should take they sorry, you know what to dirty ass Galveston like that, man.
ISO (Co-host)
They trying to. They putting up a little fight. They doing what they can. Hell yeah. I mean what y' all expect?
Joe Johnson
Yeah, that's that. That's it. That's what they got, Joe. That's, that's, that's. That's the other offer. Ryan 35. Say SGA, GTA, PGA, OKC and 4. What's up? Ocho and ISO. We know how good the Thunder is, but why doesn't Coach Dagnot get enough credit for their success? I don't know. Ain't he in the running for coach of the year?
ISO (Co-host)
He gotta be.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, but I think that a lot of times when you got some of the best players, you don't really get.
ISO (Co-host)
But I think it's because you know their coach has. They got a great development system. No,
Joe Johnson
See, Brad said Ayton Reeves, Cleaver, Vando will most likely be gone the moment Fred.
ISO (Co-host)
Hold on. He said Aiden Reeves?
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
ISO (Co-host)
I think if. If Reeves gone then that mean they getting something big in return.
Joe Johnson
Underground kicks. It's time for the next decision. Big three. What you think?
ISO (Co-host)
What decision?
Joe Johnson
The next big decision. Somebody's going to make the next big decision.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Well, who? Hey, hold on.
Joe Johnson
Who's big? Something happening.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Who big enough to. Hey, what happened to my camera? Who big enough to make that decision?
Joe Johnson
This your camera? How we know?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, no, it's on the wrong.
ISO (Co-host)
Wherever Yan is going, it's gonna be the next big.
Joe Johnson
Alphabet is. Man, the Lakers are ass. Reed's making it real easy for the Lakers not to offer him a max or any contract for that matter. Nah, I think he's kind of done played himself into a max and if he doesn't get it, somebody else.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I mean, he playing against the best team right now. You know, without Luca, I mean. Yeah, he's had a, you know, a rough couple games, but what else they gonna do?
Joe Johnson
Yeah, tell me. So we both know, Joe, you gotta bring big britches. What's up, nightcap crew? My wife and I never missed the show. Can I get a birthday and a Mother's day shout out for my wife Tamara? Tu meth Tamara. Okay. Tamara, me and the kids love you and will forever be grateful. Absolutely. Tamara. Happy birthday. Happy Mother's Day. Man, I forgot. Damn. Mother's Day boy, look here. They need to stop with all these holidays, man. They keep.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, Mother. Mother's Day tomorrow. Un.
Joe Johnson
I know. I knew that. Today.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Okay, wait.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You. You got your gifts.
Joe Johnson
I ain't got no gifts.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You got. You got gifts.
ISO (Co-host)
Joe, I gotta get up early in the morning, go do something. What you gotta do, huh?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
What you got, Joe?
ISO (Co-host)
I can't tell you, Ojo.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Why not?
ISO (Co-host)
Cream me and my lady.
Joe Johnson
I.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You know what I want to know.
Joe Johnson
Hey, yeah. Hey.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, Joe. Hey. I know what he got. That's why you don't want to say none. You wouldn't have got that plug, huh?
ISO (Co-host)
Come on. What's going on, man? Why we gotta deal with this here? Conversation? Always gotta go left, O. Joe.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I'm just not. We've been going right all night.
Joe Johnson
You already know he faked everything, right?
ISO (Co-host)
Joe, where they come from, they come out of nowhere.
Joe Johnson
I know.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I'm just making sure because you said it between you and your wife. So it just made me think, okay, maybe, maybe you went to Spencer's.
ISO (Co-host)
No, man, come on, bro.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Okay, my bad, my bad.
Joe Johnson
But Tamara. Happy Mother's Day. Happy birthday. Hey, bro, hopefully you got something planned for a birthday and a Mother's Day. Two for one kill two birds with one stone. But make it a really, really nice gift. Because she's giving. Giving you kids and she's giving you a great life. So, brother, congratulations on the tomorrow. Congratulations on the Mother's Day and happy, happy birthday and many, many more to come. Boy, that oo. Lord have mercy.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
What happened?
Joe Johnson
The culture needs Dr. Yakey or Bobby Price on Club Sha or Nightcast. Who that? I promise you, you won't regret it. Y' all will look different. Y', all, y'. All Life will totally different. Who? I don't know who these people. You know these people are, Joe. Oo.

Joe Johnson
Bobby Price and Dr. Yockey chat. Y' all know who this is?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, you got to do Dr. Umar, man,
Joe Johnson
Rob me. O4. What's the greatest lesson a mother or a mother figure has ever taught you and I? And do y' all think that JJ is the right coach for the Lakers job?
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I think JJ's doing a hell of a job with what he's got. I think what he got said, what's the greatest advice?
Joe Johnson
Yep. A mother or mother figure has given or taught you, man.
ISO (Co-host)
Mine would be, you know, my mom used to always tell me, you know, always believe in yourself because hell, if you don't, who will? You know what I mean? She used to always tell me that.
Joe Johnson
What you got on your what. What Paulette told you, Ms. Paula.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Shoot. But that's a good one.
ISO (Co-host)
Boy.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I'm trying to. I think I'm. I'm gonna go with my grandma.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
About saving money. That's one of the reasons I'm, I'm. I am the way I am. Grandma was tight with that money. Yeah. And I just. It just bled right into me. You gotta understand, especially when you're that young, you know any. You don't know anything about, you know, fight, you know, being financially savvy. I got to learn about that stuff early, at an early age, like high school. I was locked in ever since.
ISO (Co-host)
What you got? I know you got something.
Joe Johnson
I. I Think my. My grandmother, one of her things that she said all the time, and even. Even as she. As she, you know, was on her last couple of years of living, she said, son, always treat everybody nice, because you'll never know who you'll ask to hang your last drink of water. And I think about that, and I really try to street everybody nice, because you never know. You know, my grandfather used to always say, boy, he said, the toes you step on today might be on the foot connected to the leg that lead to the butt you got to kiss tomorrow. He said, you be careful how you treat people. Cause you never know, somebody in a. In a. In a little. Little small, minor role might be an executive.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Tomorrow. And then they won't forget. They won't. They won't forget how you treated them when you were someone and they weren't. I don't cast judgment on anybody. Everybody got a story. Everybody's not going to be as fortunate as everyone else. Because I never judge a man by where he's standing, because I don't know where he came from. And I don't know how long it took him just to get here. And I don't know what he had to overcome just to get right here. And I don't know how long it took him to get right here where he's standing. While we look and judge it, Coles, haggardly scruffy. You don't know what a man's been through. Lord, bless him. Bless her. That's the way I look at people. I try to treat everybody nice. I try to. Whether I walk into a room, it's a CEO, it's the secretary, it's the janitors. Hey, how you doing? Nice to meet you, too. Oh, love the show. To Ocho. Oh, you and Joe and Ocho, Y' all doing great job. Thank you, man. We love Club Shay Shay, man, when you go get Cat Williams back. But I think that's the biggest thing, man. I. I just. It irks me when I see people that are in an advantageous situation, how they kind of look down on people. That's not. Or they don't think that's on their level. That bothers me. It really does. It really does. Because it makes me think that if I wasn't who I was, you treat me that same. Yeah, that's it. So that. So in other words, that's how you would treat me? That's how you would talk to me? That bothers me. That's always bothered me. Just. That's just me. What's Up Nightcap crew. Hey, Ocho. That bullhead collapse putting you a mean one on that bullhead clap. Putting a mean demonstration where he goes, I'm right here.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Oh, shoot. I think you think my camera overheating,
Joe Johnson
man. Don't stop me the line.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
But they ain't never did this before. It keeps switching to my. My laptop.
Joe Johnson
Oh, Darrell. Joe. OKC 10 free throws, Lakers 25. Stop with the foolishness about always damage control. Excuse it for LeBron, bro. Ain't nobody people always talk about, okay? Are you talking about LeBron? We ain't nobody mentioned LeBron. We don't go two hours without talking about LeBron. And you brought LeBron up. The OKC are a better team. We're asking what can they do to win a game. It ain't just LeBron. Why. But why is it when. If the Lakers. When the Lakers lose, It's all about LeBron. When they win, it was all about Luca and Austin Reeds. I'm just trying to figure that out.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, they. They trying to work your nerves a little bit.
Joe Johnson
I'm like, damn, LeBron is not playing well. He's not. I don't know if he's playing at his best. It will still be enough. He can't play five positions. Look at the guy. Look, they had what, six guys in double figures, shot 57 from the floor. Hot spot Casino man. Mitchell is a problem. 24 points and zero turnovers.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah.
Joe Johnson
And he probably. He probably your third or fourth best player and he give you that kind of production.
ISO (Co-host)
I ain't gonna even lie to you. I ain't even know about him coming into the season. I ain't gonna came out. He started the year off great. Hell, it was at one point, Uncle Ocho, he was averaging about 20, 22 points a game. Like, damn, he ain't tape it off. Not one be he get his opportunity. He's been seizing the moment.
Joe Johnson
A guy playing. Think about it. And Shay is really not playing that good. Yeah, Shay is not playing that good. And they beat him by 18. 18 and what they beat him by tonight? 20 something. 23, 33. I don't know. Because they scores. They gave up. They gave. They gave up 57 in the first half. They gave up 71, 74 in the second half. So I. I don't know. But you let all the other guys. You let Case and Wally get off. You let Mitchell get off. Even though you got shit under control. Chat has been unbelievable. But I mean, if you think about it, who hasn't got off the Only two guys that struggle in scoring the basketball is Shane and Lou Dort. And they don't even need them. I understand the Luca trade, with that said, AD Max Christie and Marcus Mark with the current roster would be a better contender than Luca in it. I mean, probably, yeah, maybe.
ISO (Co-host)
Well, you kind of gotta give or take. I mean, hell, if you don't make the trade, do you even get Marcus Smart? You don't even know if you get Marcus Smart.
Joe Johnson
For real. You're right. But we do know AD is a better defender than Ayton or Jackson Hayes. And he can score, which those guys. He can shoot the mid range. He got the three ball even though he struggled at three. I think he was around 32, 33% his last year with, with the Lakers. But he, he, he's better. He's a better big, even injured majority of the time than what? Aiden and Jackson Hayes, Daryl Jones, Keanu Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Austin Reeves, okc. And four. The man's all killer. We got to give OKC GM Sam Preston some credit. This is a very good basketball team. No, he's one of the great, best GMs ever. Him, R.C. buford, Jerry West, Red Auerbach, Jerry Krause, he's right there. Bob Myers did an unbelievable job, but Sam Preston, I mean, think about it. Got Kevin Durant's going to the hall of Fame. Russell Westbrook is going to the hall of Fame. James Harden is going to the hall of Fame. He made the trade for Shay. Shay's going to the hall of Fame. You look at what he's. What he's. This team got a. They got a stretch that they can put together another three to five years, Joe. Now the question is, can they stay healthy? Can they keep everybody happy? Because you play it every year into June. That means, hey, you getting less and less rest time. Eventually that catches on with you.
ISO (Co-host)
You got to continue to try to
Joe Johnson
add little small, add little pieces without, without overhaul.
ISO (Co-host)
So we'll see what this draft bring them.
Joe Johnson
Yes. When the cameras pointed on jj, he was talking about a sister code, like, what do I do at this point? Pray.
ISO (Co-host)
Amen.
Joe Johnson
You got pray. Ain't nothing you can do. You got what you Joe. You got what you got. It's like in our football terms, Joe and Ocho, you know this. Hey, we what. What do we want to do, bro? We doing everything we possibly can. We don't went zone. We don't went man. We went fire zone. We brought zero blitz. We can't get to the quarterback. And when we get to the quarterback. We. We still can't get the receiver on the ground.
ISO (Co-host)
They just got too much, bro. I mean, they got enough.
Joe Johnson
They do, period. It's the same. It's like when they. When you. When you was playing Chicago in the 90s or you're playing Shack and Kobe, them in the early 2000s, what do you do? You double shack. He kicking it to Rick Fox, he kicking it Derek Fisher, and you still got to deal with Kobe going one on one. Some point in time, you just tip your head, say, you know what? They're the better team. They the better team. And it's okay to say that. All this. I'll never say somebody. Oh, you ain't got to say it. We see it. Whether you. Whether you admit to it or not. We see. Tether, fool. What? Hey, Aunt ISO. I recently lost my daughter Arya. Can I get a shout out to my baby? She was. She was three when she passed. Huge fan. Love you, man. Here at Nightcap, man, we so sorry to hear about that, bro.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
My condolences.
Joe Johnson
I can just imagine the thought of having a la child arrest. That's not what we envision when we bring. When, you know, we become a parent and bring a child, bring a life into the world. We never anticipate that we're going to have to lay said child arrest. It's supposed to be the other way around. We look for our kids to bury us, not vice versa. So I can just imagine what you're going through. So our hearts are heavy for you. I don't know how long, how long it's. It's been since she's passed, but just know here at Nightcap, we're praying for you and your family and hopefully God's give you peace and comfort and understanding in this, this most troubled time. So our thoughts and prayers go out to you, bro. Rest in peace. Lakers need to trade everybody. Trade the Lakers, the dancers. Hell, trade me, man. You gonna trade the dancers?
ISO (Co-host)
Damn.
Joe Johnson
There are certain people who play well during the regular season but disappear during the playoffs. Why does that happen? Have you seen it personally? Thank you. Un OO and ISO. Still. Why did it happen, Joe? Why did that happen in basketball? That some guys that in the regular season, they give you. Ooh, they. They doing they thing thing. And then come playoff because in the
ISO (Co-host)
playoffs you get to lock in on.
T-Mobile Announcer
On.
ISO (Co-host)
On really on really what it is that you like to do. And you know, the dudes don't. It's like hell, un. If you a hell of a score, then we know. All right, look, Every time he run a pick and roll, I don't give a damn what happened. We gonna trap his ass. We gonna make him get off the ball. Else can beat us in the regular season. Teams don't play like that. You know what I'm saying? They may have a game plan for you, but it's not concise to where it's like, okay, we solely just want to stop this one guy. You hoping you play well, you know, you play a great game, but in the postseason, every play, every possession, every game is magnified at the highest, so it's geared up to stop said player. And if you don't have great guys around you, hell, you going to struggle.
Joe Johnson
You got to have. You got to have guys because when they come to get the ball out of your hands, and you got to be confident that guys can make plays around you. It's really that simple. If you. If you. If you look at the Patriots, Ocho.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
And you look at the guys, that best receiver, they didn't win the championship with. They won the championship with Edelman, with Dion Branch, with guys like that. Because he's like, okay, you take that away. I got so much confidence that I can throw it to him. A guy that once played quarterback. Oh, this guy was undrafted. What's the other one? Name? Amendola.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Amendola. So you forgot about Wes.
Joe Johnson
Yes, Wes. Undrafted, Amendola, undrafted. I think Edelman was a seventh round draft pick. Well, he's a former quarterback from Kent State.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yep.
Joe Johnson
And so, Jordan, he had to have enough confidence to pass the ball to Paxton or to kick it to Kerr. You just. Ain't nobody winning no championships by themselves. It takes a team effort. Now, if you are a tennis player or golfer. Kudos, Tiger. Kudos, Serena. But when you got a team, you're gonna need that team. That's why it's a team. TS Car Wash Detail Service. The Daniel Dubois fight was great. Did y' all see it?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, that was a good one. That was a good one.
Joe Johnson
He knocked the boy out, didn't he?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, yeah, but he got knocked down twice.
Joe Johnson
But he got knocked down. That's why I saw that. I saw him got knocked down.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, that was a good fight.
Joe Johnson
And he got back up in flowboard, old boy.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You got him out of there.
Joe Johnson
Yeah. D money. Can y' all give my daughter Anaya a shout out? She graduated high school today. Anaya, congratulations.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Congratulations.
Joe Johnson
High school gr. Damn. They graduated. It's May I.
ISO (Co-host)
Hold up.
Joe Johnson
We graduated. Oo. Did y' all graduate in May or June? I graduated in June.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Shoot, but I graduated late, boy. Ain't no telling.
Joe Johnson
Oh, Lord have mercy. Oo, you had to go to summer school just to get to the high school?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Oh, Lord.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, I was. Hey, hey, boy. It's a long road for me, Unc. Boy, why you think I had to go to Langston?
Joe Johnson
Did you do any work in high school?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hell, yeah. Where I work in them hallways.
Joe Johnson
Hey, Joe, this better. This better. See you do a cutout. He doing cut ups.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I was working in the hallways.
Joe Johnson
Lord have mercy, Ocho. Damn. I'd had you get your work. Hey, we gonna cut up, but you go get your work today. Got my masters earlier today from UT Chattanooga. Huge shout out to the big three for keeping me entertained and locked in on sports during those long days and nights. You don't know how much you guys help. Congratulations, man. Frank. Oh, man, got a master's from ut. Hold on. That's what to went through, right? Go to UT Chattanooga, Chattanooga.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe Johnson
Congratulations, bro. Masters all right. Now you going back to get a doctor by time you had to pay some of the student loans. Back off. Hey, yeah, yeah. My son to my. Hey, I'm thinking about getting a match. Don't worry about it. You smart enough. You smart enough. Oh, hell no. Hey, somebody said school gets out a month earlier than before. Damn. Y' all go later. I don't know. We didn't start school till after Labor Day. When y' all go back when y' all went to school, Y' all remember when y' all, like, went to school, y' all could go back before Labor Day after.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
How you remember that,
Joe Johnson
man? Cause, man, I love school back. Hey, the summer you don't got you a new outfit, you know you don't got your new outfit for the last three, four days.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, you wear them all out the first week, it's over.
Joe Johnson
First week done.
ISO (Co-host)
First week, it's over with.
Joe Johnson
It's over with. But you know what I used to hate? I used to hate when school started, like on a a a a Wednesday or Thursday, you only had to go, nah, nah, let me start on this Monday. I need everybody to see me.
ISO (Co-host)
It ain't like that first week.
Joe Johnson
Ain't it bad that first week on what y' all do.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah,
Joe Johnson
well, it was a good old days, man. We. What's up, Ocho? ISO. And still question for all, how many times do y' all use a towel? I use a different one every time I shower. Is it just me? Yeah, that's just you. Yeah, I got two. How I got two Towels hanging up.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That's just you.
Joe Johnson
So I use I. And the cleaning people come every couple of days, so no. Hell no. Different. No, I use a. I. No, I don't have no one towel. So let's just say the sake of argument I use. On Monday, I take two showers. I use one, I use the other one. Then guess what? Tuesday, I use the one I use first. On Monday, use this Tuesday. How did I do it? Hell, no, I ain't using.
ISO (Co-host)
No, I know. I use.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, bro, you know, I'm in the top of here.
ISO (Co-host)
You got a washing machine, you got to wash them. Yeah. So you mean, tell me, y' all wash your face in your ass and then hang it up and then come back and use that same rag again and wash?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, duh.
Joe Johnson
Yeah. My face is my ass.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
The heck, Joe, you use a separate. You use a separate washcloth for everything.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm saying when I take a shower, I use a different washcloth every time.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
God damn.
Joe Johnson
Now, see, now, you thought I was bad, Joe. I'll be Ocho.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, boy. Joe, you tripping, bro.
Joe Johnson
Now, I wash my face. I wash my face. I don't. I don't put no towel on my face. My watch. But I. I watch, you know, with the facial stuff. I put that in my hands, and then I just take the water, you know, splash the water in my face to get it off. But I wash my body. Yeah, I wash my body with the same. Yeah. So, yeah, I use a different time.
ISO (Co-host)
Fellas, I'm sorry.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, you're doing too much Joke.
ISO (Co-host)
Oh, here y' all go.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, you do it way too much.
ISO (Co-host)
Y' all wash it. Wash your face, wash your ass. Sit it up at the. Then come back and wash your face and ass again. Come on.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, it's so. It's so. It's soap. It's latted up in soap, Joe.
Joe Johnson
So let me ask you a question. What the washing machine doing, Joe? So how the towel get clean?
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I know that, but come on, man. I'm saying. Y' all come on. Come on. You put the soap on you. You all over your body. All in you crowd.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, yeah, Joe. Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Well, damn, Joe, where you nuts being? You want a whole new towel every time? A new rag?
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I use a new rag, bro. I use a new rag every time. That's how.
Joe Johnson
But you using bar soap. But you'll use bar soap from time to time.
ISO (Co-host)
You know, I don't mind.
Joe Johnson
See that? Look at it. Look at that. Look at that. Oo, he using bar soap. But he want to talk about.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Hey, I mean, I. I can't talk because I use that dial. Cranberry bar soap.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I use that. I just use the white one. I don't use the cranberry. I use that white one. Yeah, okay.
Joe Johnson
Man, I ain't used bar soap in so long.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, man, I got. I got that. I got that peppermint thing in my. The peppermint soap in there. My cleaning lady bought it, but it. But it had you feeling. It had you feeling funny brown.
Joe Johnson
It'd be tingling.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, man, I went back to my dial, man.
Joe Johnson
No, no, at. I got tired of that bar soap. I. I'm trying to think. Last time I used bar soap, I had to be probably 30 plus years ago, because back in the day. We'll see, Joe, this before, but, like, when I was in college. Hey, you have so. Hey, man, we use that soap, dude. Take your bar soap, put it all between it, put it in his booty, and hand it back to you. Oh, no, no, no. I'm looking at. Hey, I'm looking at my soap.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I don't even let nobody use my soap, bro.
Joe Johnson
So I say, you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna go and give me some. Hey, bro. No. Hey, Shop, you got some soap? I don't. I'm lathered up by. Man, I thought you had no soap. I ain't got no soap.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You.
Joe Johnson
I got a bar soap for me. I ain't got nothing for you. Oh, hell no.
ISO (Co-host)
Damn.
Joe Johnson
So. But, hey, but I joke and hype and people, they. They kill me in the game. But we used to drink behind one another. So you had a water bottle. Hey, okay, let me get that bottle. Ocho. Turn it up. I turn it.
ISO (Co-host)
But you don't put your mouth on it, though. No, you might like that.
Joe Johnson
Nah, Joe. Hey, until I found out what all them guys were doing, that we had a bunch of guys like Ocho on the team. Stop me cold turkey. I ain't want no water. I'll be going Friday without. No way. Hey, you got a cup? We run out of cuffs. I'm like, I'm good. Or I just picked. Or I picked the. We used to have a water cooler joke that you. You press the button, I pick the whole cooler. I ain't fooling with y' all no more. I ain't fooling no n. I a have no. I a have no d. We had the. So we had. We had. I. We had Ivory Irish. I remember Ivory Zest.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Zest.
Joe Johnson
Those are the two but mainly. Mainly ivory, because ivory was cheap. Ivory, you get like six. Six bars for like a dollar. You could. And they'd be together. So you get like six bars like they be. They be. What do you think has a more difficult workout? King Henry or King James? One has a rougher challenge. Running at 32 or playing at 41.
ISO (Co-host)
Man, they run up and down that damn court. Yeah, that's horrible.
Joe Johnson
Because the. The difference is, is that he has to play both ways. Yeah. So playing both ways, you got to play offense and defense. Now, I'm not saying, you know, running back boy to take that pounding, because King Henry is ISO. Is. Is a. He's a bail cow back. There's a difference between a guy coming in on third down, Ocho catching, you know, Joe catch a little swing pass, getting a little draw play as opposed to taking that 30. Having the ball 28, 30, 32 times. And considering how many times he carried the ball in high school, how many times he carried in a short time that he was in college, and how many times he's carried since he's been in the NFL, the mere fact that this man is still walking and still running like he's running it is amazing.
ISO (Co-host)
Got some mileage on that.
Joe Johnson
Amazing. I mean, that man had like 2000 carries in high school, Joe. Yes.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
He was toting that pill, boy.
Joe Johnson
Doctor Dresky. I take it. I take it back on Doc again. I think the spurs got this one. Wimby ain't playing around. He using his infant. Infant infinity stones he collected this season. He played his ass off. He got his. He got his work cut out for him now.
ISO (Co-host)
Hanging with the monks. Hey.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
What's up, NightCap? Which NBA MVP season is your favorite? Me, personally, I would take Westbrook year. He was a dog that year. Plus the beef he. And with kd. With Cinema. Much love, y'. All.
ISO (Co-host)
I'm gonna take it back. I think the year. What year was it? Was it 2000 when Iverson won MVP?
Joe Johnson
2001.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah. He was a bad boy there. Yeah, I know.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
They.
ISO (Co-host)
They couldn't mess with the Lakers. They went in there and stole their game. One thought they had it.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, he was special. Because I was end up having 48. Shaq had a 4420 game with like five or six blocks. My favorite MVP. Ooh, I think I'm gonna have to go with Dr. J. I think Dr. J won in 81. Braun. I think the first year. Brian. What? It won it. What was that? 2009.
ISO (Co-host)
That was before he went to Miami.
Joe Johnson
Yeah. Because I think he won 9, 10. Derrick rose one at 11. LeBron won at 12, 13. KD one at 14. Yeah, and then Steph run it 16, 7. When it won at 15. 16.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, we got that information,
Joe Johnson
fellas. If you're. If your dating life had a warning label, what would it say?
ISO (Co-host)
They had a warning label.
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah. Ocho, what happened? If you're. If. If your dating life had a warning label, what would it say?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
You will be back.
ISO (Co-host)
Well, do
Joe Johnson
you.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That's it. You will be back. But the door gonna be closed.
ISO (Co-host)
No,
Joe Johnson
a warning label.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
That's a good warning label.
Joe Johnson
That means dangerous skull and crossbone.
ISO (Co-host)
Oh,
Joe Johnson
Please do not consume more than two a day. Joe, what's your water label?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Okay, okay.
Joe Johnson
I ain't got Atlanta Dream. Beat the champs tonight. Reese, with those rebounds. She did.
ISO (Co-host)
She had a double. Double.
Joe Johnson
Hey, she gonna rebound the ball now. She get the a. She get a little jump shot, a little float game going. Boy, she gonna be hell. All right. So how you feeling about Messiah Jury with the mask?
ISO (Co-host)
Oh, man, I. I like him over there. I mean, hell, he done a hell of a job in Toronto. I mean, obviously winning a title, you know, and putting pieces together and making them a competitive team, NBA team.
Joe Johnson
I think he gonna do the same
ISO (Co-host)
with the Mavericks, bro. Bringing the right pieces.
Joe Johnson
He got a great foundation. You do with Cooper.
ISO (Co-host)
He's got a build.
Joe Johnson
ISO. If all teams in the NBA could start next season with their all time roster, who do you think would win? Win it all. Can't pick the Lakers or the Celtics. Well, because that's who win it all. Well, don't take. Well, you got to take the Bulls out too. Then
ISO (Co-host)
probably Orlando. Yeah, Orlando, you gonna have Shaq, Dwight.
Joe Johnson
Yeah. What about the spurs with Wimby Duncan,
ISO (Co-host)
ain't nobody beating him.
Joe Johnson
Iceman, Tony Parker, Manu Okawai. So if I get. If I take Duncan, Wemby, Kawhi, who you want? Your guard, Tony Parker. And do you want Manu or you want Iceman?
ISO (Co-host)
Iceman.
Joe Johnson
Okay.
ISO (Co-host)
What? Boy, that's a mean team right there.
Joe Johnson
Damn. What was a better feeling for you guys? Making the league or being considered a star in the league?
ISO (Co-host)
Shoot, being considered a star, I think it really comes from your contemporaries, guys
Joe Johnson
who you play against.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, I think that's the biggest compliment you can get if you're a professional athlete. When guys ran and rave about you and how good you were. So, yeah, being a starting league, I mean, making it. Making it was great, don't get me wrong. But once you get here you like?
Joe Johnson
Shh.
ISO (Co-host)
I might well go and show out.
Joe Johnson
A lot of guys make it. A lot of guys ain't going being all NBA. Be an All Star. Be it all Pro. Being Pro Bowl. Oh, one more thing. We forgot David Robinson, so. David Robinson, Wimby Duncan.
ISO (Co-host)
You can play Wimby any damn well.
Joe Johnson
Ocho making the league or being a star in the league?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Probably being a star.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Being a star. The discipline it took year in and year out.
Joe Johnson
Bulls. D. Rose built bulls with Jordan. D. Rose, Scotty Pippen, Dennis Rodman.
ISO (Co-host)
They still gonna have hell with San Antonio.
Joe Johnson
They have here with San Antonio and. And Orlando. What's up, ISO Strapple. Strapple. ISO is right. You will hustle and defend. Hustle to get a great time. Tris was thrust with some water, I guess. Twist with some water. I don't know what. I don't know what Joe on Joe told me he get a new towel every time. So you take it? You take one shower a day? Nah.
ISO (Co-host)
Cause I do yoga, so I had to, you know, I take about it, give or take it could be three.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
God damn, Joe.
Joe Johnson
See, when Ocho told me I take two, way too much water. I try to tell Ocho, I know
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
y' all want to be a scout.
ISO (Co-host)
I might be at the studio. I might. Hell, I might take Pilates. Then I might take a yoga class. Then I'm gonna come home and take me. You know what I mean?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Yeah, yeah, but you doing too much, boy. You might want to get.
ISO (Co-host)
You.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
Get you some baby wipe. Just wipe yourself down.
ISO (Co-host)
Hey, I keep me some baby wipes now. I keep me some baby wipes with me now.
Joe Johnson
Okay? Yeah, yeah.
ISO (Co-host)
You know. Hey,
Joe Johnson
Shannon, you need to look up Ray Mercer. He was a boxer and went to UFC and knocked out the champ. He did. He left just in time. Who did Ray Mercer beat? I think James. Tony was with the ufc, too. Oh, you beat tim silver? Oh, no. Ray Mercer did not have an official UFC record, but he had a 10 record in his professional MMA record. He famously knocked out UFC heavyweight champ Tim Silva just nine seconds at the 2009 Adrenaline MMA event, which was technically a gentleman's agreement fight with boxing rules. So what is that? So Silver had. Basically, it was an MMA fight, Ocho and Joe, but he had the box.
ISO (Co-host)
When was this?
Joe Johnson
2009.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I don't even remember that.
Joe Johnson
What's good, trio? OKC fan here. What are your chances? Looking to getting back to back. I think it's going to be us and the Knicks. And to be honest, big win for Strickland, who's your favorite guy? UFC fighter. Thunder up, baby. Happy Mother's Day.
ISO (Co-host)
Worry about the Knicks right now.
Joe Johnson
I'm a. I'm a Jon Jones. Ufc. Jon Jones. Yeah. OKC got a great chance. Hell, they got a great chance to go back to back. As long as. As long as long as they don't lose Shay, they got a great chance. I don't think they can beat Shay. I don't think they can beat San Antonio or win a championship without Shay. But anybody else they can beat.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, they gonna. They're gonna need check too when that.
Joe Johnson
Oh yeah, yeah. Chat Playing his ass off, man. He is. Oh yeah. I just like, I cringe every time he hit the floor. Like Lord, this man.
ISO (Co-host)
He hit it hard too.
Joe Johnson
He hit the floor.
ISO (Co-host)
Yes.
Joe Johnson
And he ain't nothing but Joe, he ain't number. I mean he. He laid by the size of my arms.
ISO (Co-host)
Thanks.
Joe Johnson
What is the most gruesome NFL injury, NFL, NBA history? Or is it injury you'll never forget that made you feel sick?
ISO (Co-host)
Man. I don't know if y' all ever seen Sean Livingston.
Joe Johnson
Sean Livingston.
ISO (Co-host)
Oh my God.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I remember that. That's the one where it was out the bone, right? I mean out the skin.
Joe Johnson
I saw he. He tore a patella and his, his knee like bent back.
ISO (Co-host)
It was nasty.
Joe Johnson
I saw Napoleon McCallum and I saw Robert Edwards when he did it on the beach, you know, playing that. Because they used to have a flag football game. Yeah, I remember.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I remember playing with. He playing with the Dolphins.
ISO (Co-host)
Yeah, he messed himself up on the beach. What?
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
What?
Joe Johnson
On the flag football game.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I remember that.
Joe Johnson
Almost had the amputated leg because he like to the artery.
Chad Ocho (Cico Johnson)
I remember that. Damn.
Joe Johnson
